I don’t know what stars aligned, but I just had one of the most magical McDonald’s experiences of my life. I came in on a Monday morning—maybe that’s when the A-Team clocks in. The service? Impeccable. The food? Actually hot. The coffee? Didn’t taste like regret. I half expected Morgan Freeman to start narrating my breakfast.
Then I made the mistake of reading the other reviews… and now I’m even more confused. Did I hallucinate this flawless fast food moment? Was I chosen? Is this the McDonald’s Narnia?
To the morning crew: you deserve a raise, a parade, and probably your own docuseries. Thanks for making my Monday feel like a small miracle.

Ordered online a gold chicken snack wrap. Received a spicy chicken snack wrap. Parked and went in told him it was spicy and I needed the gold one. The counter guy was super nice he told the kitchen he needed a gold chicken snack wrap. The kitchen hands the counter guy a snack wrap. He specifically asked him if it’s a gold one, The kitchen responds with “ I think so.” Walked out to my pick up, took another bite of it, It was not gold. It was the same spicy sauce they put on the spicy snack wrap. I wasn’t about to go back in a second time.
This trip was good, only got a sausage biscuit. They have forgotten my sweet and sour sauce too many times not to mention it.
Hands down some of the WORST customer service I have had at a McDonalds outside of the Deep South. I asked these people repeatedly what is the cost of a burger, only to be asked if they "Deliver". Apparently, they can't understand basic English!
When I finally got my answer across, I was disappointed to find out that they didn't have a specific answer about what the cost was. Overall, this place is trash of trash.
Please keep driving to Denver, where I bet things are better service!
I went through the drive thru for a medium strawberry shake.... stopped at the first window and the girl was leaning against the wall with her back to me! I thought she would immediately turn around to take my money but I had to yell....hello!!!...do I pay here or the second window? It took me saying that twice for her to turn around and then say....I'm sorry about that...then I still had to ask how much it was!! OMG....do better on your hiring please!!
Did a mobile order. Sat and waited 18 minutes for $21 worth of food. Definitely not the friendly place it used to be either. Guess if my grandkids want fast food from now on its not here 😢.
Vicki assisted me with my purchase at the cash register. Vicki repeated my order to assure it was correct. When she brought my breakfast to me she ask me did I need anything else. Vicki made my visit HIGHLY SATISFIED.
Mc Donald's ruined eating at there restaurant for me. The reason I go out to eat is for the service. Unless you count my own service there is no service anymore. Plus the cost of their food has increased immensely! Their ordering machine was difficult for me. Talk about stress. mode. I go there now as little as possible.

We typically stop at this Taco Bell when we’re passing through, because the one where we’re from is terrible. This location always has great food and service! But today was by far the best Taco Bell we’ve ever had! Great job at continuing to improve and be amazing!

The Tacos were good. My granddaughters cheese quesadilla was so SPICY she couldn't eat it! I asked what they put on it and the girl said regular cheese and jalapeño cheese sauce, and if I didn't like it, I needed to ask then to leave it off! We've never had one with the spicy sauce on it before. She never offered to make another one without the sauce. Very disappointing customer service.
The manager here is an absolutely awesome one! He is always smiling, always positive to his crew and always cracking jokes with everyone! I used to travel and i’ve been to probably 50 taco bell’s in the country, and honestly this one’s been the best! Glad i live close enough by here!
We ordered our food inside and after waiting 30 minutes my husband asked how much longer our food would be. They hadn't even started it because they had 1 person working that line and we were told they were doing the door dash orders first. We asked for our money back and nobody even apologized for our time or anything. I understand being busy and short-handed but I don't think it's an excuse to ignore your other customers.
I waited in the drive through line for 40 minutes just to order. The line is so long that some of the cars are waiting on the highway. 2 of the employees causally walk in from the parking lot after 15 minutes and 1 walk in from the parking lot after 30 minutes of all of us waiting in the line. There are at least 4 employees inside yet the line barely moved. The last employee that came out from the parking lot looked high on drugs. Extremely unprofessional. For Taco Bell corporate, this is 7/3/2025 night around 11:45pm to 00:30am.
Absolutely slow. Used to have good service but now it sucks, waited over an hour for my food, taking their sweet time making food. They just need a whole new crew to actually work.
The newness of the new Taco Bell wore off, but the staff aren’t up to par. There was only 2 people in the drive through and not many in the store. My family and I decided “why not” and went inside to see the remodel. Big mistake. We ordered, sat down and did not know it would take an hour. When my husband went to ask what was taking so long the manger rudely said they could either refund him or make our order. Since we waited so long, we ended up just taking our food to go. Also a mistake, the order was not right. Overall, unless you have an hour or so to waste, just don’t go inside.
The staff working the night of Deadweird did a phenomenal job carrying out orders and continuing to be positive at 3AM were amazing!!! The cashier was extremely positive and kind with our order!!

Kylie and her team are absolutely amazing! She was caught in a busy situation with some online ordering and some of the orders got mixed up! She was absolutely perfect on the phone and when I sent my husband back in! She exceeded the expectations above and beyond! I wish I would have caught rest of the crews name working on the evening of 1/9/25 but I was only able to catch Kylie’s! Girl! You’re amazing and thank you so much for making things fresh and hot and ready for my little family and me! Keep up the good work! And thank you for seeing us all the way through! Ordered a chorizo burrito got a burrito with egg cheese and pickled jalapeno. NO MEAT!! What scam didn't have time to go back. 3 time there never gotten a right order. No wonder I was the only car there..place need a better manager
I ordered through the app and paid for my meal with a debit card . When I arrived to pick up the order I was rudely told they had no record of my order. I showed them the attached receipt and I was basically called a liar even with the proof. I will never set foot inside this establishment again and the woman that waited on m should be fired!!
First time in a Taco John's and probably last time. I was shocked at how rough the employees looked. Missing and/or very bad teeth and not particularly hygienic looking. Based on their looks, decided against ordering food and went for a large soda. Didn't realize a large is 40 oz!!! I think it cost about $4.30 which seems pretty outrageous.
The staff was awesome instead of talking among themselves they came out to talk to us. We were the only ones in the store. They told us things to check out while we were in town and asked us about our journey.
Even during dinner rush, we got great service from this Taco John’s. Their food was amazing and despite the ice machine being out of ice, they offered to fill our cups up in the back.
Great service! Blondy in the back was looking mighty fine making my tacos, wish I had the courage to get her number. I sit across the street daily and watch her as she gently grabs a handful of lettuce
Been here once and wasn't amazing. Food was good but didn't receive the cheese in the order and not worth going back for.

Nice lunch with my son. Quiet place, food was ok, just had the club sandwich but the service was outstanding! Our servers name was Mailene and she was making us laugh the whole time. Very refreshing to see someone enjoy their job and make a meal fun.

Our waiter was amazing. The food was not the best.Messed up 3 out of 4 of the meals that were ordered. Fries taste like they were sitting out for hours. 2 peoples burgers were still mooing, cut into burger and they were still bloody and pink and uncooked. Ordered freckles got fries. Ordered plain hamburger got a cheeseburger. I honestly could have cooked better food at home. Will not be returning
I ate here with some friends and probably the worst food I've received from a restaurant in a very long time. I got the shrimp tacos and they were so drenched in whatever their sauce is, that you couldn't even pick up the shells. And the amount of shredded carrots on them was ridiculous. That's not a taco, that was a mess on a plate. I ate the shrimp out of the shells. That's all you could do. Maybe try tossing the shrimp in the sauce instead of pouring it on and making a lake out of the sauce.
This was legitimately probably the worst food I’ve ever had. We ordered jalapeño poppers which came crunchy and lukewarm. Went to order entrees but our server told us they were out of beef because they’re closing for a week. So we ordered garlic Parmesan boneless wings, fried pickles and the turkey bacon melt with tots. Fried pickles were okay but the batter was burnt and looked like they used old oil. The boneless wings were lukewarm and tasted extremely off, like freezer burnt. The large messy pile of turkey on the turkey melt was inedible, there was no bacon and one off color tomato. We picked at the bread. Tots were burnt outside and undercooked inside. There was absolutely no care or effort that went into making the food, one of us woke up in the night with nausea and vomiting, the other just nausea. Our server was polite-probably the only good thing about the experience-but never asked if our meals were good or why we sent back full plates of food. As of now I will never go back, it’s not worth the $100 and illness.
I have given this place way more chances than it deserves! Ate here the other night and everything was absolutely horrible, from the service to all the food.. coldest and soggiest fries I have ever been served at a restaurant! My chicken sandwich was so stringy I could hardly eat it. There is ZERO pride in quality and presentation coming out of that kitchen at all. I have felt this way the last 3 times I have eaten here but people keep dragging me back and I agree to give it another try. I used to love this place, it was one of my favorite restaurants in town. I really wish they would shape it up again but I have zero faith that will ever happen. We all agreed that we're never eating here again and this time I mean it!! Unless you enjoy being disappointed and the risk of food poisoning I suggest you avoid it too.
This used to be a good, reliable place to eat. Food has really gone downhill. We've eaten here 3 times this summer and had an issue with our meals on every visit. During our last stop, I'm pretty sure our fries were just thawed out at room temp and never cooked. Our waiter agreed when we showed him, but he didn't offer a replacement. Staff is always nice, food not so much anymore.
Terrible experience! Lucky's 13 used to be a family favorite stop for us each year. Our visit today was probably the worst restaurant experience we've had.
Our experience started when our server "couldn't be found" and the host took our drink order. After about a 30 minute wait, we were presented with our appetizer of onion rings. 4 onion rings so overcooked that they were almost black and filled the area with a terrible smell. At this point, my poor kids were so hungry they were ready to eat the overcooked rings. I told them their food should be here shortly and I'd get a new order of rings. After another 10 minute wait, we were greeted with our abysmal meals.
A $17 "Asian bowl" that looked like a frozen dinner from the grocery freezer heated in the microwave and dumped onto a plate. Chicken tenders that you could tell came from a bag in a cardboard box. I've had better in a hospital cafeteria. And a brisket sandwich so smothered in coleslaw that I couldn't hold the bread because it was too soggy.
The love Lucky 13 once had is gone. Our family will not be returning.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a chicken salad that was extremely dirty, with pieces of leaves that looked like they still had mud on them. When I showed it to the server, she just asked if I wanted something else. ( I asked for something to-go instead), but they still charged me for the salad even though I couldn’t eat it. On top of that, the server asked if I wasn’t going to eat more of it, even after I showed her how dirty it was. Really poor service and handling of the situation. I hope they improve.
Everything else was ok. The live music was nice!

We were at Sturgis motorcycle rally for a week and started looking for a different place to have breakfast, so we drove all the way to Spearfish and found this great restaurant, the place is clean and neat, service is very good, the food is great, we were so happy we found it. Located just a couple blocks off the interstate easy access in and out. Plenty of parking but not recommended for trailers and big motorhomes.
The service was good and the servers were friendly and efficient. As soon as I was seated, I received the menu, followed by coffee and my order was taken shortly thereafter.
As you could see in the photograph the omelette was pretty big along with the order of hashbrowns and toast.
If I happen to be passing into Spearfish again, I will definitely be stopping at the Millstone
OMG. Just left the Millstone. Food was delicious. Homecooking. Large servings. Great service. Faster than any "fast food:" restaurant. Clean restrooms. Wish I was local.
They are all welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was awesome, she should train others. Turkey dinner was so delicious and the salad bar was very fresh, with many choices. I’m traveling, but I’ll go again before we leave. Such a good experience!
Stopped in for breakfast this last Sunday morning. Even with a full crowd, service was fairly prompt w seating, ordering and being served. The food was tasty and portions were very decent as well. We only wish we would have stopped in Saturday morning as well instead of trying another local breakfast spot that was half the size, took twice as long for food and cost almost twice as much. Next year we will spend our money AND breakfast time w Milestone.
Stopped in this morning for breakfast. Good crowd of locals. Nice menu choices. Came out fast and hot. Good price and waitstaff was spot on with coffees and refills. Very clean. Right off the highway. Parking was plentiful but it was full.
Best meal one could ask for when traveling far from home. Lauren was our server and worth every dollar of our tip! Best service we have had on our motorcycle trip and it was wonderfully refreshing to meet a young lady with so much God inspired enthusiasm! Millstone is very lucky to have her!!
The food was great. The waitress was excellent. The cashier was horrible. We explained to her that we ordered off the seniors menu and she said well you were charged off the regular menu and since you ate it, we’re going to charge you for it and I said we pointed to the menu when we ordered her response was we don’t accept pointing. (What if we were deaf?) we will never Go to this restaurant again. After reading alll the 1 star reviews and the “OWNER RESPONSES” it does appear that they treat the locals better than anyone else. Funny thing is we are in Spearfish every Sunday….guess we will stick with the folks at Perkins for friendly staff and management….they always treat us outstandingly. All the rudeness at this restaurant and in the responses from the owner are uncalled for.

We were visiting so was not sure what to expect; an unknown place to us. I ordered a decaf oat milk huckleberry white mocha. Very mild huckleberry aroma and flavor, it was delicious. Also as decaf drinkers know, sometimes it’s a hit or miss with a decaf. This one was smooth and nice. Very happy.

I picked this place as an escape and resting spot due to he rain 🌧️ lol, but I wish I had more time to hang out and dry off a little more... The atmosphere was Very pleasant, inviting, warm (in my case and needed, haha) and the ladies working there were Extremely kind, accommodating, Friendly and Fast with my order of hot tea ☕. "The Original Spearfish Breakfast House" is a charming restaurant located in the former Spearfish Opera House. The owners, who are also the cook, waitress, and host, provide exceptional service in a clean and relaxing atmosphere. The food is made with fresh ingredients and served hot with generous portions. My husband and I stopped here on our way home, and wow—what an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had discovered something truly special. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel like we were dining with family rather than at a restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every detail of our meal was just right. Their genuine hospitality added to the magic of the experience.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. I’m highly sensitive to processed food, yet I felt amazing after eating here—light, satisfied, and nourished. I had the Benedict with avocado, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and creamy avocado all came together beautifully. They even went out of their way to accommodate my request for a biscuit instead of an English muffin—such a thoughtful touch, and it was absolutely divine!
My husband ordered the chorizo skillet, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The flavors were bold and vibrant, with just the right amount of spice, and every bite was packed with fresh, delicious ingredients.
If you’re looking for a breakfast that’s not only mouthwatering but also made with love and care, this is the place. The combination of incredible food, locally sourced ingredients, and the kind of service that makes you feel at home makes this a must-visit spot. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This weekend we had the best breakfast that we’ve had in a long time! It’s a quaint restaurant in a great location. Good place for people-watching if you sit by the window. We got excellent service from our waiter, who was attentive and had a great sense of humor. (I forget his name.)
I got the Cheesesteak Omelette, one of the specials. My wife got the biscuit and gravy, which is one huge biscuit the size of two normal biscuits. We added a side of bacon, because, why not? Delicious food with big portions made from high quality ingredients. We’ll definitely be back.
After a first half of the day doing some hiking in the Spearfish area, we stumbled upon this place with hungry bellies.
This place did not disappoint. The hospitality was incredible as multiple members of the staff made friendly conversation.
Laurie, the waitress we had hustled around and checked in on us numerous times ensuring our water and coffee was filled. She is a one of one and I admired her work ethic and passion while eating my meal.
If anyone is looking for a filling meal that is high quality, this is the place to go.
One more thing… for anyone that may complain about the cost, there is a nice quote on the wall that keeps everything in perspective.

Quickly becoming our go to favorite breakfast place! Friendly staff, great service and the food always delicious. Today I had the avocado bacon benny... OMG! So good! Hannah our server was the sweetest and most attentive without being intrusive. Give this place a try.
Stopped on a Saturday morning while on vacation. Got seated within a few minutes. Our server was very friendly and pleasant. Food took a while to show up but it was very delicious and portions were large. Chx fried steak, hash browns, eggs n toast for me. Build your own omelet, toast n hash browns for her. Coffee was kept warm and topped off, the orange juice was mediocre at best tho. Would recommend for anyone looking for a more personal experience at a locally owned establishment.

Very great service and omelets! They even had GF bread for me to enjoy. Had to wait 25-30 minutes to get seated on a Sunday morning, but once seated, everything was quick.

Our recent visit to Burger King was very disappointing. Our total came to $69.17, and we tried to pay with a $100 bill. The staff told us they couldn’t give us change, so we had to drive a few blocks away to a Walgreens just to break the bill. That alone was frustrating.
On top of that, when we got our order, we noticed we were missing fries. We had paid for large meals, but they were out of large cups and gave us smaller ones—without any discount or even an apology. We didn’t complain at the time, but we definitely should have. The service overall was very poor, and there seemed to be little concern for the customer experience.
We hope management takes steps to improve, because this was unacceptable.

AVOID this place. Went in to buy some gift cards. Made a take out order too. Asst mgr had to come out for gc. First thing I noticed is that it appeared his shirt hadn’t been washed in a week. Looked like he rolled out of bed and came to work. Really didn’t have a clue and was unable to get gc - said I’d have to come back when a different employee came in that evening. The food took nearly 20 minutes and when I got to my car it was wrong order. When I went back In they argued that is what I ordered - even after showing them my receipt. Didn’t want to refund but finally got money back.
I frequent this Burger King, while it is a little outdated I can see staff works very hard to keep it clean. Food is always hot and management is always kind and helpful. Would recommend.
Missed one of our orders. Made it a combo and it wasn't supposed to be and the wrong burger. Was supposed to be a bacon cheeseburger, not a King Bacon, but food was good.
They didn't even bother to microwave the burger that's been sitting for god knows how long. The burger was so cold, it didn't even slightly melt the cheese.

During my visit to the Spearfish location, I was greeted by an energetic atmosphere bustling with college students. Despite the busy crowd, the staff maintained their friendly demeanor and ensured that my meal was served promptly.
This is clearly is a very busy location, When I arrived they were Serving a Bus load of college students.
Even though that was The case I still received my meal in a timely manner along with a friendly atmosphere.

Typical atmosphere - clean and orderly. Food was messy and the person preparing didn't wear gloves on both hands and when he delivered the food he wiped his nose with his hand!!! The server was polite but not overly helpful. Everyone in the place seemed tired except the lady cleaning.
This place should put in heat lamps and charge admission for a terrarium. Each time I have visited it it has so many flies I want to gag. Surfaces are never clean, and neither are the employees. I love the concept but whoever is in charge here is out to lunch. In a comical twist of irony they probably would not hire me. Your 4.4 star rating is frankly astonishing as I have not seen improvement across over six visits in 3 years.
I had to drop off a delivery and those employees ALL of them were just awesome people!!! Super awesome atmosphere and their energy was great!! Very friendly!! And I got hooked up with a damn delicious smoothie for my trip back!! Definitely worth checking out!! Thank you !!!!!
Visited today as the were preparing hundreds of lunches for kids summer program. I placed a large order that came out quick and accurate. Food was great, smoothies are always good, but the best part was how wonderful the staff are! Very friendly and accomodating.
I order a smoothie this morning and a bowl. I go to use my receipt to put my points on my rewards to see there’s a special where I would get a free smoothie when I bought my pool. They didn’t even ask me if I was a reward member that would’ve been nice to know before they charged me for everything When you have a special There’s a marketing reason for it you think your employees would know to check if you were a reward member and give it to you
Even if an order comes in through DoorDash employees should make sure to customize food as ordered. Received food I couldn't eat because this place doesn't even bother to look at food modifications.
Passing through spearfish South Dakota and we stopped at Tropical Cafe smoothie!!! And I have to say it’s Absolutely delicious we ordered a large sunrise sunset and a large paradise point and we are so glad we stopped !!

As a student living on campus, Einstein's Bagels has become a highlight of my everyday routine. The staff are some of the friendliest and hardest working people I have ever met. The quality of the food is consistent throughout the day. It is always fresh and delicious. The coffee drinks are awesome too! I would highly recommend coming here.

Ordered bakers dozen bagels. They threw what they had left fir the day, maybe even the day before? Not what they advertise! $20 not cheap! They were closed for the day, so I submitted a complaint to the corporate office. Still no response, so I'm done doing business with you!
