It’s such a shame I can’t give more than 3 stars, because the food was genuinely excellent and the setting is lovely - feet in the sand, live music, a truly beautiful atmosphere. However, the service and management left a lot to be desired and ultimately soured the experience. We waited over 2.5 hours for our food, which is simply unacceptable. Other tables around us complained in frustration due to similar delays. After waiting 90 minutes, we asked how much longer and were told 30 more minutes - only for another 45 minutes to pass before being told to wait another 15. Why not just be upfront? To make matters worse, our mains arrived a full 10 minutes before the side dishes. The disorganization was clear. We ended up ordering more drinks just to kill time, which felt like a way to pad the bill rather than accommodate us. This could be such a special spot, but the experience was completely undermined by poor planning and what seems like a stretched-thin staff. If you can’t deliver a good experience to so many guests, reduce the number of tables or bring in more help. Unfortunately, what should have been a highlight of our evening ended up derailing our plans. A real disappointment, not worth the price.

Food is fresh and the portions are BIG but it’s expensive. Portions for 2 or more for 3-4 people. Ask if you can have half a portion for half price and it might be worth it! That said, the servers were all super sweet. We got the white fish stew and my girl didn’t like it. It was pretty fishy tasting. But the people next to us got the fried fish and it looked great. Beautiful views, just a heads up on the price. And they’ll charge extra for live music

I really wanted to love this place because everything was perfect — the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive, and overall the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, I can only give it 3/5 because on the night we visited, there was someone very drunk who kept bothering us (Tall chubby old bald guy). It was quite uncomfortable and honestly disgusting. From the way the situation unfolded, I think he might even be the owner, since the staff couldn’t do much about it. That said, the staff were really kind — they came to check on us and even offered to change our table, which we truly appreciated. If it weren’t for that bad experience, this would have easily been a 5/5.

Everything we had here was good. Portion for 2 people is I think enough for 3-4 people. It’s expensive but quality is good. Service is just okay. We paid 400 RS for a plait of seafood.

Lovely savoury crepes. Need to go back to try the sweet ones. Coffee was also amazing and the people working there were very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Ilha Grande! The shrimp risotto was absolutely delicious — creamy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. We had the maracujá juice, which was so refreshing. It was one of the best meals we had on the island. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Ilha Grande and looking for a memorable meal!

Beautiful spot to have a drink with your feet in the sand. For me it’s all about the water views when you’re on a beach island and you can’t beat the view here. The service was really friendly and the music was great, plus their caipirinhas were delicious and they were on special for 2 for 20R. We didn’t eat here but heard the food is great, the menu looked really good.

Ate dinner at this local restaurant with our tour guides and was not disappointed. I had the filet mignon and my wife had shrimp risotto. We both really enjoyed our food and the classic Brazilian caipirinhas were delicious as well!

The food was excellent. Lota of variety and good options for lunch; the juice was fresh and tasted amazing! Service was impeccable and Iago was helpful and happy. I would reccomend to everyone!

We went here both evenings if our stay on Ilha Grande. The waiters are super friendly. They speak Portuguese, Spanish and English. The food is fantastic. First night we had the steak. Beautifully cooked, very tasty. Second night we went for the sesame crusted tuna. Again cooked to perfection (mi-cuit) and a huge portion for two. Very nicely served with vegetables, a nice change from the French fries. The spot itself is fabulous too beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.

Really loved the lady who took our order, great attitude and was very good with communication. She was nearly fluent in English and it was kind of relieving, but even if she didn’t it wouldn’t be a problem because she was very positive. She recommended drinks and they were really good. I took off one star because the kebab we ordered was lacking meat. It was a lot of vegetables and the wrap was good, but only a few pieces of meat. I ordered the fish for one person and that was perfectly made! Would return!

Hugely disappointing! Nice atmosphere but very misleading name as the so called kebabs served bear no resemblance whatsoever to real kebabs. Toasted bread around a mishmash of raw carrots, cucumbers, onions and a few dry pieces of dry chicken!? To sum up, don't go there, don't eat there, don't even go near the place. They clearly have no business being in the restaurant business.

This was the WORST customer service I have EVER recieved in my life! The waitress with the ringlet hair was extremely rude throughout the entire night. Rolling her eyes when she had to move closer to us to take our order, slamming our drinks and meals down to the table, and blaintly ignoring us. We tried to call someone over for 20 minutes to get the bill, and once we finally got her attention it took another 20 minutes after that. Having worked in hospitality myself we figured she must have been having a bit of an off night, it happens. We went back the following night (because thankfully, the food was actually good) only to be treated the exact same way. When asking for the wifi password one of the waitresses said what it was and pointed to the board and I began to explain ‘yes I was just wondering if I had it right/ if there were any capitals’ before I even got to finish she rolled her eyes shaking her head, and put her hand towards my face as if to shut me up and walked off. I was in shock. Across the table from us we watched as she put a meal down for a table of 2 guys, when one turned to her to ask for something saying ‘excuse me’. She put her hand up and walked away again as he was continuing to say ‘excuse me excuse me ?’ The guy was extremely frustrated as it was obvious she had heard him but chose to ignore him when she put down the meals. Ill have to say that i worked as a meneger at a restorant back in my home town and that kinde of service would have never be tolerated! all of our dishes was mixed up (kebabb roll), and after we tasted the food we found up that everything was wrong. We asked to change the dishes and they took it wrong. After all the mess we talked to the meneger they sent one of the waitreses to take the dishes and she sayd a phrase that could not be tolerated "that people from our country always do that". And than she saide something to one of the people at the table that i will not mention here just from respect. One of the worst behaviours we have ever gotten!

A beef kebab at the kebab lounge is pieces of pre cooked, cold, burger pattie in a huge wrap with very little inside. Considering you can get a burger with fries on the island for 10-12 reals, 40 reals for a cold burger in a wrap is very pricey.

Amazing little restaurant by the sea! The staff are friendly and can speak English and the food is delicious and great value for money! Compared to Rio, Ilha Grande is much cheaper for restaurants. The vibe at night is also very nice and cozy. We sat under the tree full of lights and it was very romantic.

The best and yummiest coffee I’ve had in the whole week we’ve been here on the island. Finally. 😌 We will come back again even for just the coffee. I really enjoyed the large latte in a big mug. We also enjoyed a yummy crepe, omelet and quiche for breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly Man who offered to make us coffees while he was busy opening up the restaurant in the morning as we arrived to early still, which we appreciated. All lovely and friendly staff who served us. We really love the whole vibe of the restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful scenic seating along the beach front, on the sand or in the restaurant. Delicious food. Great portion sizes and quick service. I didn’t take a picture but the Brazilian goats cheese and BBQ sauce was very tasty! Pictured is the chicken curry and the fish with mango and crispy onions. We also had a banana and chocolate milkshake which was unfortunately a bit bland, so wouldn’t recommend that. I would recommend this place for lunch.

The food was a big portion and seemed fresh and brought plenty of veggies which I loved, however the seasoning/flavors were okay. Not the best I’ve had. Also, be aware that there are mosquitoes around so spray before you come.

The first serving of steak was so tough that we had to send it back. Although we were given a replacement, it was still extremely tough. In the end, we decided not to order any more meat.
