The Bull Towcester is a charming pub and restaurant with a mix of whitewash and red-brick architecture, featuring a lovely lawned garden. The reduced menu didn't detract from the delicious food, making it an ideal spot for a Sunday lunch. The carvery offers a good selection of meats and vegetables cooked to perfection. While the lack of certain drink options was disappointing, the friendly meat carver added to the positive experience.

Restaurant
Ten Hands Cafe Bar in Towcester is a versatile spot that serves as a local breakfast, brunch, lunch, and working space. The cafe offers vegan breakfast options and has been praised for its ability to deliver tasty meals. It's described as a chilled-out and friendly place where you can meet friends or bring the kids for brunch. The coffee is highly recommended, and the menu features buttermilk pancakes served with various toppings.
Went in yesterday to have breakfast with a friend and we both enjoyed our experience there. The food was delicious and the drinks were served promptly. As we hadn't booked, we had to sit outside as the indoor seating area was fully booked already (we got there before 10am), so I would recommend booking in advance. I order 2 cinnamon buns to take home which were massive and scrumptious! Staff were also really nice and friendly! 🥰

Really good cafe with a nice range of food - what we had was very well prepared and delicious (buttermilk chicken, shakshuka and croque Monsieur). Had to ask for water twice but they were really busy. The place was stuffed full, we were lucky to get seats!
Ellie B — Google review
Stopped here for a coffee and ended up having a late lunch lol. Delicious food, croque Monsieur with chips and chicken shawarma on flatbread. Delightful staff, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely visit again when passing through Towcester.

What a wonderful experience! Superb customer service, superb breakfast (one of the best, if not the best, vegetarian breakfast I have ever eaten). The breakfast was lovely and hot and everything was perfectly cooked. The coffee was good too. We will definitely return. What a great find.

We had a delicious lunch here. The meal and hot drinks were lovely. The hot chocolate is the best around. The staff are welcoming and our server, Maddy was great, so friendly and very attentive. We can't wait to visit here again.

We had a delicious late brunch of Eggs Benedict and smashed avo 🥑 and delicious roasted tomatoes, just needed a crack of black pepper. Plus stayed on for a great coffee and cake. We're not local but we are coming back for the Loaded Nachos which looked amazing 🤩

This morning, I made a spontaneous visit to Whittlebury Bakery Ltd in my luxurious Rolls Royce after spotting their roadside sign. Having just visited the nearby RREC Hunts house, I was in need of a breakfast consisting of coffee and bacon roll. The bakery did not disappoint as two friendly ladies greeted me and served a fantastic cup of coffee along with a delicious bacon and egg roll that I devoured promptly.

Nestled a bit outside of London, the Super Sausage Cafeteria is a vibrant and unpretentious spot that serves up all-day breakfast and classic British dishes made from local ingredients. This beloved café is particularly famous for its hearty full English breakfasts, making it a go-to destination for Sunday mornings. While it can get quite busy—especially during peak hours—arriving early or after lunch can help you avoid long waits.
First time visiting with my husband, he has been here plenty of times - If you are a Motor head or not. The Super Sausage brings such great atmosphere and pleasant vibes, would recommend it to anyone! Also seeing all the bikes is a plus, with decor that showcases throughout history.. amazing! Service was excellent, thank you to all the staff for a quick and tasteful experience. TT burger was delicious!

We really enjoyed the food and fun atmosphere at the Super Sausage Cafeteria. The owner has done a great job with decor and the entire set up of parking for motorcycles and vehicles. The food had flavor and cake out very quickly. We will be back next year!

If you want an amazing breakfast , this is the place to go . My all time favourite go to place for a Sunday morning full English. Always quite a few people here , so best to arrive early ,or after lunchtime when you wont have to que. Food served quick and hot , and eating outside and watching the machines arrive is always interesting if you are into bikes .Lots of parking for bikes and cars . A great place to meet up with mates and easy to get to

The most delicious English breakfast I have ever tasted 😋😋😋 😍 Very efficient and friendly service. Delicious and good food. Love the vibes of this place. Great value for money. I am visiting - from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Please consider opening a branch in KL Malaysia :)

It's always a favourite of mine. Being a biker, this is always a place that's busy at weekends. Menu is massive, so spoilt for choice. I have a group of deaf friends and they also have regular visits here and the staff are just wonderful. I tried the special burger and wasn't disappointed.

I love this place. Best fry up I’ve ever had and the old school biker atmosphere is unmatched. I don’t live nearby but if I’m ever within a half hours drive away I’ll make it a priority to visit. ❤️

What a little gem! Absolutely loved this place. Unpretentious cafe, hearty grub, served hot and efficiently by friendly staff! My eyes were bigger than my belly, but it was worth it! Nice little hangout, perfect Sunday morning drive/ride out for brekkie.

Bell Plantation Café offers a mixed experience, with some visitors expressing disappointment in the service and food quality, while others praise the excellent afternoon tea. The café's bright and clean atmosphere, along with its efficient service and diverse menu options, make it a worthwhile visit. Additionally, the adjacent garden center is well-maintained and features an impressive variety of chicken breeds. Overall, it presents good value for money and is recommended for those seeking a pleasant dining experience in a unique setting.
You could go here for the day . Plenty to see art and craft . Really good garden centre.Nice restaurant.Staff very polite and helpful .

I have been here twice now and it is a busy large cafe but the food is brought out quickly and to good quality. I have had breakfast previously, served before 11am and then again the brie, cranberry and bacon panini this visit for lunch. My husband chose to swap his crisps out for chunky chips for an extra £1.50. I joked with him that he would get 12 chips, making it over 10p per chip, but he did get more than that. The food and service was good, and we stayed as long as the wasps would let us. I'm a woos when it comes to wasps. There are wasp traps in the inside/outside section but not on the inside section. This place is very large, and if you know what I'm talking about with the inside/ outside section, then you know! I would come back again as I wanted to try the cream tea with the special scone but I was full after lunch.

My sister & I both had a Caesar salad with Salmon. The Salmon although a tad dry was acceptable, however the Caesar Salad was not! The “Crouton's” were flat cut up slices of brown bread toasted not fried, some left in strips, we couldn’t decipher how authentic the dressing was as there was so little of it, but definitely no hints of garlic or anchovy. The slight dusting of Parmesan cheese didn’t enhance the flavour whatsoever. This is the first time that I’ve been disappointed with a meal here, hopefully you will take this feedback on board & endeavour to provide an authentic Caesar salad in future
Elise T — Google review
Visit 2.20pm. Ordered one scone with butter and jam plus one more with butter only. Also ordered two coffees. Coffees brought promptly but scones ten minutes later, as coffee cooling down. Scones had jam and clotted cream, for which we were charged extra!

Great place to grab a lunch. You scan the bar code, place your order and you will be served. We had the Ploughman's lunch and a Brie Ciabatta which were both great.
Mathias G — Google review
Overall a decent experience and a nice place to get a coffee and a cake, however, the garden area is infested with wasps and we were swarmed no matter where we sat. Garden area tables were left with loads of muck and rubbish on them. The service and food was nice but nothing to write home about, good value after a walk around the centre.
Yolanda W — Google review
First of all, we have to commend Sienna, our waitress, what a lovely, polite and smiley young lady! Shes a credit to your staff. Secondly, may I mention the cheese on the cheesey nachos.......3 out of 4 of us had this, but the cheese was rock hard! My friend worried her teeth might break 🤭. Might it be better to serve grated cheese, or a soft cheese sauce? We would have preferred that. Thirdly, my bacon, Brie and cranberry ciabatta was delicious. Thank you all.
Janet M — Google review
Like to go here as has a nice atmosphere with a relaxed service and tasty coffee! But food however has become bland and tasteless, my quiche had no seasoning and no hint of goats cheese as it suggested, as a foodie I am disappointed. Chips were the highlight and very tasty. Overpriced for standard of food as ‘salad’ on partners dish was one sad bit of lettuce with spoon of coleslaw on top ! Haven’t tried the breakfast or cakes here, could be a better option rather than lunch!

Nestled in the charming Wakefield Country Courtyard in Potterspury, near Towcester, The ARTea Room is a delightful countryside café and gift shop that offers a unique twist on the traditional afternoon tea experience. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a bottomless prosecco event hosted by The Start Up Hive, where we were treated to an overflowing selection of homemade delights.
We had the most amazing Afternoon Tea recently 🥰 the staff were so attentive and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious 😋 There was so many that we ended up taking some back home…..they were too nice not to!! Would Highly recommend visiting for the Afternoon Tea or in fact anything else on the menu. Whilst we were there All the food that we saw being served did look delicious and we could not believe that there were 4 pages of specialty teas. Well done to all who made our visit so memorable. We will definitely be returning 🙌

First time visiting under the new owners and what can I say. Wow! So friendly, clean and the food was delicious. The girl who served us was so friendly and very gentle with our son. My mum and I shared the club sandwich. The best sandwich I have ever had.

What a fantastic afternoon tea. We were thoroughly spoilt and had an incredible afternoon. Food was amazing. Very obviously freshly home baked cakes and scones not to mention the devine range of freshly made sandwiches. I was impressed with the care that was taken to accommodate my dietary requirements. From online enquiry, through to confirmation and today's visit I can only rate them 10 out of 10. We were so well looked after and made to feel very welcome. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend The Artea room if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a special traditional English tea. Thank you to the team again

Wellington's Cafe and Bistro is a delightful spot nestled within the Cherry Lane Garden Centre, making it an ideal stop for both garden enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This charming cafe boasts an impressive array of hot and cold beverages, with their hot sausage rolls being a standout favorite among visitors. The menu features a tempting selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and hearty snacks that are sure to satisfy any craving.
Stopped in here for a quick lunch with my partner. I didn't expect a great deal if I am being completely honest but much to my surprise this was one of the best burgers I've had anywhere. I would recommend this for a quick bite to anyway
Robert T — Google review
We decided to have lunch at Wellington's as the food was usually a high standard until today. We ordered fish and chips with garden peas. The fish was good, batter crisp, the chips were just golden but not crispy and not cooked in side, the peas were hard as bullets. The only thing was good was the coffee, along with the borders biscuits.

May of been an off day?. Cakes looked nice. Large pleasant outside area. My cottage pie was over cooked. Dog friendly.

Been here for the 1st time. Great and relaxing place to eat or have a coffe. Great service, clean and reasonable pricer. Gave it 3 stars because of tasteless food. It looks good but nearly no taste. A big disappointment for us. But will give it a go again next time - just in case I am wrong.
Vladimir H — Google review
Beautiful cafe, staff are very friendly and helpful. Great range of food available, didn't have any food today but what I saw being bought out looked delicious! I had a large mocha with oat milk, which was really yummy, and my grandmother had a pit of tea which she says she enjoyed. The cafe itself is very cosy, there is plenty of seating and it feels very open, not all cramped in, like some places. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly.and inviting, the music choices today were brilliant (personal preference, probably not to everyone's taste but 'come on Eileen', A bit of Whitney Houston & a few backstreet boys hits are always winners for me!) And we were able to just sit, relax and chat for a while with a nice hit drink. Beautiful, definitely recommend.
Elizabeth W — Google review
The vegetarian breakfasts need to move into 2025… it’s been a long time since I’ve been served up ‘sausages’ made with diced carrots and peas!!! There are many meat free sausages available these days containing more protein AND more importantly flavour.
Raz B — Google review
Looks like a nice little cafe on first glance, but don’t be fooled.. this place serves some of the worst food I’ve ever encountered. We had a breakfast here after planning to go to Super Sausage Cafe initially but finding it to be packed. The bacon looked like it had been reheated about 3 times. It was like leather. The tomatoes had black bits in them and tasted off. The toast was coated in a bright yellow margarine. All in all.. a completely foul meal. Avoid this place at all costs.

Incredibly quaint and beautiful little cafe which caters for all!! Cannot fault the menu or the service what so ever… I chose brie, bacon and cranberry panini, which was the best I had ever had ( piping hot and delicious) Infant friendly, the staff could not do enough to ensure we could dine whilst the baby was given lots of attention. There is not enough space in the comments section to truly commend this gem on the high street in Towcester. From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel an overwhelmed sense of calmness. You will greeted with genuine smiles from the staff as part of the experience . The full English breakfast (which I had opted for) was as best it can get. Local meats cooked to absolute perfection. I had asked for the eggs and bacon to be well cooked and it’s was just perfect. It’s evident that this business takes pride in what they do. The best in towcester by far. Well done!

Starbucks Coffee, the iconic Seattle-based coffeehouse chain, is a go-to destination for coffee lovers seeking a cozy spot to unwind. Known for its signature roasts and light snacks, this café offers a welcoming atmosphere complemented by free WiFi. Visitors often rave about the cleanliness of the space and the upbeat music that enhances their experience. The baristas are not only friendly but also efficient in preparing orders, making it an ideal place to grab your favorite brew or enjoy a chat with friends.
Came in today, the place was so clean and there was some good music. The baristas were extremely nice and got my order done quickly. Easy spot to grab a coffee and chat.

This was an overall bad experience. I stopped here for breakfast and the staff was very rude and condescending. There was no cold brew and when asked to make something else, they grumbled abt it. The order then made was made incorrectly and when pointed out she seemed to not like that and did not want to correct it . It was on the order sticker and she somehow still managed to screw it up. Not coming back if this is the level of service to be expected
Shivapriya D — Google review
I expect a level of service and cleanness at Starbucks but this branch is seriously lacking. Only 2 staff on at the time of our visit, spent 15 waiting for our mobile order only to find out after asking that’s it’s still on the printer! Took a further 10 minutes to get our drinks. Loads of customers waiting, used cups on most tables, floors needing sweeping, and Starbucks policy to remove bins make the place look like an overall dump. Not sure who is the manager at this branch but you need more than 2 staff on duty or roll your sleeves up! Not impressed.
Andrew M — Google review
I’m so incredibly sorry for walking in and placing an order. That must have been such an inconvenience to the utterly miserable and rude girl on the till. If you hate your job (and people) that much then why bother working in a customer facing role. Nice hot chocolate though, cheers.

Called in at 16:24 for a coffee. The cake section was empty all but for a few currant buns. Asked for a coffee with the blonde roast. No, the coffee machine with that roast had been put into cleaning mode (branch closes at 17:30). Used the gents which didn'tiok like it had been cleaned for quite a few hours, and no toilet paper so certainly not checked. Not the best Starbucks I've visited.

Hobbs Coffee Bar in Towcester is regarded as one of the finest coffee shops I have ever visited. Its exceptional staff members always extend a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring that you are never disappointed with their impeccable service and delectable food and beverages. This establishment comes highly recommended to both locals and visitors alike, regardless of their proximity to the area. The hazelnut mocha, expertly crafted by Jules, is among the best I have ever tasted.

Pretty close to a 5-star review. "Hidden" in a housing estate in a building shared with a hairdressers did not immediately appeal, but the staff were very friendly and efficient, the cakes and pastries very tasty, and the coffee good. On street parking. It was a break on a long journey and well worth googling directions for.

Came across this beautiful cafe on Google while looking for somewhere to go while we was in Towcester, Charmaine is so lovely, really made me & my partner feel welcome even though we turned up 40mins before closing time, She certainly makes the best Paninis (Made fresh unlike corporation cafes) Cakes was yummy & loved the white Mocha with the heart on top! .... Had an amazing time at Emily's Cafe. Went with my mum, sister, and one-year-old nephew! The "Create Your Own Pizza" option was a standout, with generous portions and incredible taste. The drinks were reasonably priced, and everything was freshly made. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting. Highly recommend Emily's Cafe for a laid-back and delicious dining experience. Will definitely return!

Lovely place! Went early on Monday morning after F1 weekend about 7.40 before they'd officially opened for food but they made us bacon and egg rolls and coffee anyway. Both were delicious and felt quality. Was a nicer place to sit than the campsite too and prices were better than the campsite coffee & vans to top it off! Well recommended 👍👍👍👍👍

Stopped whilst out on a walk, really friendly and genuine owner and staff. Coffee was really good and the creamy mushrooms on toast with a poached egg to top it was delicious, service was excellent. Absolutely worth knowing when planning a walk, cycling nearby, or simply to meet friends for a bite to eat, coffee and a chat.

A great little find especially if, like me you are working at Silverstone and are after some quality food opposed to junk from petrol stations. Great coffee and even catered for my vegan palette with a very tasty wrap, freshly made and ready go. Highly recommend popping over to Emily’s cafe

Popped in for breakfast! Delicious full breakfast. Bacon and sausages fab 😋lovely cheese counter and farm shops goodies! Will definitely be pack to try out the lunch menu!

Went for brunch. the food was very good. Service was good. The place could do with a bit of a face lift, little things like the hand dryers in the toilet not working and the cheese chiller looked a bit old and tired.

We’ve been here twice now for lunch and each time it never disappoints! Lovely food and lovely setting. Also a great cheese counter with lots of variety.

Lovely location, it's got potential to be a great place to visit for a coffee and lunch. Can't put my finger on what's missing to make it five star. Dog friendly.

The gentleman that serves me is genuinely lovely. Great service and with a smile. He remembers me every time too which is nice. Delicious coffee! I’ve yet to try their ice cream.

Really good coffee, and cheap too! The cafè itself is lovely with a warm vibe and the lady who served us was really friendly - the best coffee experience in Towcester :)

Small cafe just off the high street. Worth seeking out if you value quality. Great value and service. Won’t be getting my coffee from anywhere else in town from now on.

What the heck is the point of a café that doesn’t serve any food AT ALL?? Should call it a coffee shop. At which it’s probably ok.
Jan Z — Google review
Although we did not go in to eat or drink it seems like a nice cafe and the views of the canal make it a great place to pop on
