Bewiched is the coffee shop I always make a beeline for to meet up with friends. It has a great atmosphere, food and drinks are reasonable in quality and price and taste, staff are polite and attentive and the place is clean. Would recommend it.

A beautiful independent cafe in the city centre with great coffee and cakes! It’s very cosy with plenty of seating both inside and outside. I had the latte and chocolate orange cake, would highly recommend both. Lovely staff and great service too :)

Not only is it a coffee shop it also houses home decor items which you can purchase and are beautiful. The food was lovely and the coffee was good too. The staff were friendly too. I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service here. I asked if my child could use the toilet, but was told that all toilets were out of order. This was extremely inconvenient and hard to believe, as it’s surprising that a business can operate without providing such a basic facility for customers. As a parent, it was frustrating and stressful, and I felt the staff showed no empathy or willingness to help. Proper facilities and customer care are essential, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures this does not happen again.

It's a really busy coffee shop. Good location, but not a coffee shop that I would return to. There is only one toilet, which is insufficient to accommodate the amount of customers. Aside from that, it was a long wait. It's hardly unexpected that it was unclean and there were no toilet papers. Will not be returning.

I visited the Costa Coffee branch in Peterborough today and ordered the gluten-free mozzarella & pesto toastie. Unfortunately, it was so overcooked it turned rock hard and completely inedible. I asked the staff to replace it, but they refused—even though they clearly burnt it. I left it on the table without eating. As someone with a gluten-free diet for health reasons, this was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Special dietary items should be handled with more care.

I'm a regular in here wit my kids , unfortunately since some staff members have changed the atmosphere has changed and children don't seem too welcome , admitted they can be a bit loud but that's them. The best people in there are Julie and Ellie , always customer friendly and very polite 👍🏼 my children tend to enjoy the new chocolate fudge brownie and when I ordered we was actually given 4 as they'd made too much

Great service and food. 3 members of staff working well together, one taking orders, one making drinks and one collecting empty cups etc. Only 2 people ahead of me served quickly so no wait.

For the cortado the milk was overheated so the drink was half froth. The barista topped it up and used a knife to remove the froth from the top. It was pouring over the glass on the outside. The coffee is burnt, and bitter so the grind is off. Cortado should come with napkin and spoon. It wasn't that busy so the drink could have been remade.

It's busy here. You will have to wait quite some time to get your drink at peak times. The seats quickly fill up so if you see one, sit! Other than that it's a typical Costa, if you like their coffee/drinks you'll like it here.

Absolutely appalling. First of all, the staff do not clean after customers it’s so dirty and cups, plates and rubbish are laying around on the tables not taking into account the next customers who will be coming in. In regard to the hot drinks. The milk is overheated so much that we burnt our tongues. We also had a biscoff cheesecake which tasted awful and disgusting, and tasted under done. This cheesecake tasted like raw eggs mixed with cheese. There were also fruit flies around the pastries. Overall such an unhygienic and dirty costa with careless staff.

Quiet place to drink your coffee, latte, tea, beer... alone, with family or friends. You can find a variety of snacks, sandwiches, cakes, and drinks that can drink/eat in or takeaway. You can find here a wide variety of portuguese products, including some wines and frozen food.

Best coffee in Peterborough! If you love authentic Portuguese coffee, this is the place to go. The café has great coffee and snacks such as perfect Natas, but the little shop offers great food and drinks straight from Portugal. I felt like I was back there again!

What can I say? Excellent expresso. Nice people. Only a little bit hard to find a place to park.

Love the custard tarts. Very good value. Feels like you're abroad when you're inside listening to the Portuguese accent and sampling the European menu.

Paradise caf best in town really is a slice of paradise and excellent prices cheaper than Millfield and much better quality it’s got my vote. Check it out on street parking usually good and friendly customers and staff Happy days see you there soon

Popped in for a Sunday roast with my mum and my daughter. The service was fantastic — really friendly and attentive. There was a small issue with my daughter’s meal, but it was sorted straight away and she was even given an extra piece of gammon to make up for it. All in all, a very pleasant experience — we’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

Burghley House is really impressive and worth seeing. The building itself is huge and full of history, with amazing details inside and out. Walking through the rooms feels like stepping back in time, and there’s so much to look at you could easily spend hours there. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions, which made the visit even better. Outside views of the house are just as stunning, especially if the weather is good. It’s the kind of place that makes you go “wow” when you first see it.

It's a huge pile of a place with plenty to see, enormous gardens designed by Capability Brown and a wealth of treasures on view. They are a bit economical with the truth regarding where the money actually came from: if truth be told, political fingers were very much in the till several centuries ago. Clearly nothing has changed! To be frank, I found it rather soulless and dark, especially on an autumn day that started somewhat gloomily. You may love it; I have seen country homes that I warmed to a lot more than this.

What a venue! So much history, so much style. We had our work conference here and it was amazing, the staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great, pastries and tea or coffee to start, mini fish and chips or vegetarian option, then charcuteri to finish. I look forward to revisiting to see the house. The House is closed for private functions every Friday & typically, I went on a Friday! 🤦 The walking trails, cafe & shop are still open though & I managed to get a few photos of the outside of the house. It is absolutely stunning & although I may have been able to get some more shots on the other side of the house, it was absolutely sweltering so I contented myself with these & will capture the rest when I can actually visit the property fully at some point. Definitely recommended, just not on a Friday!

The most beautiful palace we have ever visited. It is clear that the owners put great effort into ensuring visitors have access to a wealth of information and a truly enriching experience. The part open for sightseeing is absolutely magnificent – stunning ceiling paintings, the enchanting Heavenly Room, the impressive kitchen, and the elegant library hall. From the windows, you can admire the garden, not accessible to visitors, yet captivating with its carefully and imaginatively trimmed shrubs. The park area is vast, with sections available for free walks as well as paid entry. One of the highlights was spotting a herd of deer behind the fence, including two rare white ones. Truly breathtaking!

A beautiful house well preserved and the art and paintings are incredible. However it cost £22 to go in to the house and you only see a small part of the house. Couldn't go up to the very top and missed alot of levels. The garden is nice to explore with all the waterfalls

I based this review on what I heard from the whole group. There is a large range of beers on tap. A good range of quality spirits also available. Orders for food are placed at the bar and paid for at that time. There is an afternoon menu which is smaller but cheaper and a main menu. My wife and I eat from the main menu. Service was good and most meals came out together. Which meant we had our starter and main meal come out at the same time. I found that strange? If we had been a couple I would ask for them to come out separately. We all agreed the food was hot fresh and well presented.

One of the best places for Thai food in the country. Service is always outstanding and the food is consistently fantastic. Pork belly, crispy prawns, stir-fried noodles, and basil rice are always highlights.

A lovely pub in Peterborough centre 5 mins walk from the station. The people running the pub were lovely, If you are into Ale then, you probably like Oakham Ales, they are hard to find on draft and this pub is well kept. I'll be back and I'd reccomend it!

Amazing Thai food!!! Set menu for four with portions that are seriously generous. Service is warm, friendly and attentive. Aziza was our host and the most awesome one imaginable. Food came quickly and far more than we could eat in one sitting. I would highly recommend this for families and friends who want a great experience in relaxing surroundings.

Heard alot about this place. I am very particular about foods especially eating out. Decided to try Brewery Tap with couple of friends. I like the cosy environment. I think it is important besides good food. I need to try other dishes before I can give a more accurate feedback.

Didn't know what to expect walking in, but I had a very pleasant evening to myself. Food was flavourful and well priced, good selection of popular and local beers, and the staff were lovely, in particular Diane who was very friendly, bubbly, and generally had a welcoming presence that was infectious. Highly recommend if you're passing through Peterborough and looking for a place to dine/ have a pint or two.

Had a family meal here, great service from Aziza we all thought she was a star! Warm, welcoming and positive. The food wasn't bad either.

Nata & Papa is such a gem! It’s a lovely Portuguese café with amazing food and a really welcoming vibe. Their hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve had, and the custard/cream tarts (I think they’re called pastéis de nata?) are unreal. I end up popping in weekly just to get some! The chicken here is honestly 10/10, I’ve never had anything like it anywhere else. Everything’s always fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!

The Pastel de Nata was the best one I’ve tasted and I have a hard time believing it would be much better in Lisboa. It was warm, and luscious and had such a good blend of flavours- buttery, vanilla, touch of salt. So good!

Delicious. Can’t tell you if it is actually best pastel de nata in the UK as they claim, but certainly must be up there. The place felt very Portuguese too with the bilingual menu and nice owner etc. It really took me back to my holidays. Very convenient if you are staying in the Travelodge and want to pop out for a light breakfast.

The Portuguese Tart was excellent. The Tuna Pie and the Spinach Feta Pie was very good. Not awarding five stars because the Cappuccino was quite mild, though I love Medium Roast even then I found it weak. Overall a good experience and I recommend this place for their food for sure.

Wow. Just wow. Not only is their pastel de nata an absolute must-have (easily the best in Peterborough), but today I tried their peri peri chicken – and it was on another level. Juicy, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked – honestly, nothing else compares in Peterborough. A real hidden gem in the heart of the city. If you haven’t been to nata & papa yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Nice meal guys. Two hole grilled chickens with rice, ships and mash potatoes for £30 i will say nowadays fair enough on prince. The food was really good even having a bit to much lemon. Can't complain and we will repeat for sure. Thank you guys

Absolutely delicious! We were looking for a nice mom and pop breakfast place with a proper fry up and have definitely found one and will be back. The staff was really friendly and the food was outstanding!

Place was empty when we arrived, had a veggie breakfast and a megabite. Food was ok but didn’t listen to order properly and still served tomatoes when asked for replacement. Owner was watching a film which didn’t really mind. It felt like it needed a deep clean and probably a paint make over. Food wasn’t terrible but owner had to go to shop to buy ingredients as didn’t have veggie sausages in stock and didn’t have a £5 note for correct change. The owner was polite enough and everything but just feel it needs some improvements and better preparation.

Food was great when I first went there but it has really gone down hill. it dosent taste as nice anymore. owners are rude and have no manners and argue with each other while shouting from the kitchen. all around they look unfriendly And I would not recommend going here.

After dropping a family member off at the hospital, my son and I fancied a decent, cooked breakfast that didn't involve using one of those God awful, corporate run pubs that have no idea how to cook anything consistently well, and, luckily, I found this place. It is what it is, and old fashion style, 'old skool' greasy-spoon type cafe. Don't expect chandeliers or salmon, but do expect a pleasant greeting. This place is for proper people in need of a hearty breakfast for a very decent price. Nice coffee too. I had the Mega-Bite and my son had the Special and I think that between us, there was only a bit of toast left. Totally stuffed! They open really early, 5am, and close at around 1-1.30pm and there is a plentiful choice on the menu, which includes sandwiches, rolls, burgers, light meals, all cooked to order. And yes, there is a Ferrari theme throughout. Parking could be a bit of pain, but that won't stop us from returning.

Perfect old school cafe!! With all these pubs and restaurants opening up it's rare to see a cafe that still holds its values! Good old grub for a good old price! Friendly staff and a relaxed environment! Perfect for a brew and bacon sandwich!

Little bit disappointing. Walked into what I thought was someone's lounge with a sofa l, toys and television in the front window. Staff were sitting down and I thought it was two customer. They asked me what I wanted from their seated position and we're in no rush to get up. Then while we were waiting for our order the two members proceeded to shout to one another from the kitchen to the counter their private conversation. Then after paying they were struggling to get the right change to give back to me as the float was not prepared. The food was meh and the whole place needs a good scrub. Better up their game to stay around with better cafés local.

Have been coming to Ferrari's for nearly 15 years! Staff are friendly, helpful and the food is really good quality and value for money. Can't recommend highly enough and yes, it is the best fry up in town bar none!

An unforgettable Friday lunch with my wife. Everything was perfect. We were presented with a voucher by my daughters entitling us to the 3 course menu with champagne. Each course was introduced by a different chef which was a nice touch. All the food was immaculately presented and tasted good. The amuse bouche was particularly tasty. Also worthy of a special mention is the bread and butter which was free flowing. The owners have created a great ambience. The restaurant is an orangery style building and we sat alongside one of the glass walls. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we had great views over the gardens. The background music is well chosen and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The service provided by Theresa was very attentive and as the restaurant was quiet we had a chance to chat with her and to one of the chefs which was interesting. In my opinion, this is Michelin standard (and we have eaten in a few Michelin restaurants) We will be returning.

Random picked restaurant off Google (of course i did a little research on what to expect) That being said this restaurant turned out to be a real delight! The Venue was stunning, plenty of character with an elegant modern finish. The food was executed perfectly, creative and well balanced each course was devoured! The cocktails were equally as interesting with levels of complexity that made you salivate as you read the drinks menu. My girlfriend was happy with the surprise and it turned out i was as equally surprised with myself for finding such a gem. We had the 6 course tasting menu and left extremely satisfied. 10/10 one to visit, i will be surprised if this doesn’t get a Michelin star this year 🌟

We had a wonderful dining experience again! Having visited 3 or 4 times, I have always been impressed by the exceptional food and impeccable service. Each dish was meticulously crafted with high-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, and served with an artistic touch. The 3-course lunchtime taster menu was not only delicious but also great value for the experience. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic lunch here with friends today - a wonderful menu with some very surprising and delightful dishes. 2 of our group also had the wine pairing, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our first visit since the move from Cowgate, but we'll definitely be back!

Delicious food, cooked to a high standard with great ingredients. Nice selection of wines also. Overall a great value 8 course tasting menu. Only feedback would be it was a bit slow coming out, we'd been sat down for almost an hour having only had drinks and canapés. As we were staying over it wasn't an issue however as we we're not in a rush, just hungry!

This is a lovely place for lunch. Food is excellent and presented really well. The only gripe is we waited a little too long for our 3rd group member to receive their meal after the first 2 were served. It wasn't busy either so maybe an extra pair of hands is needed to keep the premises at a higher level rating. Will definitely go again and highly recommend it.

Sabana was a lovely host. Heavenly desserts is a luxurious relaxing spot where quality isn’t compromised. The premises is clean, friendly staff and always an array of treats to try. I’ve been back here several times with friends.

Appalling service - twice on the morning of 8th August tried to get a coffee and both times just left because the service was so slow or non existent. Several staff behind the counter - but no one serving me….one staff member made a coffee then just went back in the kitchen to drink it.

Very clean and warm cafe with friendly staff from the community. They freshly prepare the humble food selection. Good tea and fairtrade coffee. There's a selection of cakes and bottled refreshments all day. Before 11am, there's a small choice of bacon sandwich, egg and toast. After 11am, there's a good variety of sandwiches, soup, toasties, paninis and salads. There's also a children's menu. Overall a relaxing place, could do with a bit more variety such as tomatoes or salads as a side.

Was very busy.. and obviously well used... we had to move our table as it was so close to neighbouring table.. We only had a coffee. But were very tempted by the cakes and savouries. Have been several times and will return.

I like the coffee. But staff need much more training. Tables all full of ditty dishes. Customers living the dishes in order to sit down. Staff taking food outside and walking back empty handed, why don't they pick up the dirty dishes on their way back to the kitchen? It's very bad management. Took 15 minutes to be served at the counter. Absolutely terrible service.

Friendly staff, great service. Come here for the quiet atmosphere when trying to work. Couple of the guys make really good coffee. Wifi isn't great but thats just due to the side of town you're on. But its there, you can use it.

A lovely flat white (with a heart ♥️😉). Nice big comfy chairs to relax with friends. A lovely selection of cakes but decided to be ‘good’ today, maybe next time...There are 2 floors so plenty of room on busy days and from the upstairs windows you have a great view of the High Street.

It was my first chaiwala experience in uk. When late night suddenly bcz of my birthday night. Ordered coffee, pink chai and a wrap. Everything thing was delicious. Wanted to sit inside but it was too cold in there and had to leave after 5 mints. Guy at counter was very friendly and professional. Recommended!

Very small tiny place, not ideal for sit-in as has no toilets only has 3 small tables inside which is tight seating. Was expecting a decent stop place for our journey from Dover to Edinburgh but hugely disappointed.

Chai was good, I usually eat and order from here but now the lady who is at the counter was not polite as well kept us waiting. Had to keepvl asking her, the ice cream arrived after 20 minutes. Wrap didn't have veggies too, had to keep asking for ketchup as the order was served without mayo or ketchup. 'We noted that they served others at table but we had to keep going to their counter to collect orders', 'very bias'

Its nice ordinary place, street food is medium ok style and taste, the prestation as you can see is in this ridiculous food newspaper wrap; the naan sticks to the wrapper and peels of the naan layers and the internal fall out making the food experience messy. I think the food is frozen and heated up, my chicken shish felt and tastes not fresh, followed by process mint sauce, again not fresh. Such is the food nowadays 🤔

This is one of my favourite places in Peterborough to have a breakfast or lunch on a Saturday. The quality is good and the pricing reasonable. I very much enjoy the French baguette breakfast with orange juice, croissant and a nice coffee. The staff is friendly and polite. The service is very fast.

Very nice establishment, I was there earlier today. Staff were friendly and very eager to serve. Service was efficient. The menu was interesting enough and the prices seemed reasonable to me. I liked the French theme, complete with French cafe music (a lot less annoying than modern chart music). All in all, I can heartily recommend this place based on my experience. I didn't tip, instead I decided to write this review :)

I always come here if I want a light lunch when I'm in Peterborough. Prices are very reasonable, service is always excellent and I like their range of food choices. They do good coffee.

Friendly speedy service. Had the veggie brie & redcurrant jelly half baguette with salad & creamy thick coleslaw. Plus a really hot mug of tea. Totally recommend this. Did cost nearly £10!

Always excellent service with always plenty of staff even at busy times. Nice to sit out in the summer months. Food is always very tasty and good coffee too. Great with kids and families.

Does not have an accessible customer toilet, as toilets are up long flight of stairs. I thought this would be illegal now. Good quality food and polite friendly staff so two stars for that and good place to stop for a cuppa right I'm the centre of town opposite Town Hall.

An excellent place with a massive selection of plants, we mainly went for the restaurant to get lunch. The lunch was very tasty and fairly reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

We met here with some friends. Went to the cafe. The cheese scones in the cafe were dry. Tea was nice. Staff really nice. Walked round the plants. There were some lovely ones, lots of colour. We bout a few that were half price - bargain. I would go back again

Set in nice grounds with plenty of parking. This is a small garden centre. Focused mainly on outdoor plants, this also has a small section of furniture and a few green houses. The indoor home area is also very small. There is a cafe but the indoor seating is fairly busy and compact, leaving only a few spaces. Outdoor seating is also available but not in use when I visited. Prices are slightly elevated in cost, but not massively. Worth a visit if you're passing through but I wouldn't make a specific journey.

Really lovely, gem of a garden centre! I'm no expert gardener but, there were lots of plants I hadn't seen before, a really good variety. All looked healthy, and the ones i bought were well wartered and in the right sized pots. All now in my garden and looking gorgeous. A busy and popular spot, with a lovely cafe, toilets and parking too. I have now downloaded the app too, will be back!

A well-located, incredibly tidy and 'shipshape' garden centre in the grounds of Elton Hall. The restaurant has substantial capacity both in and out of doors. Service is prompt and cheerful. The only difficulty we found was regarding driving. The car park is good - when you get there, although it can suffer from aged persons manoeuvering very badly! However, it is reached by a narrow gate after a sharp early turn off a main road. We got in fine, although we did notice some new visitors like us semi-overshooting. Getting out we had to cope with traffic turning off the A road at speed. and people trying to get in. Nothing much to be done about this, and it certainly does not put off an obviously loyal clientele who appreciate the beautiful setting. I hope they sell plenty of garden stuff too, since the main attraction seems to be the cafe restaurant. The plants are in a walled garden and very well-protected/kept.

Have called in three times in the last three weeks. First time 3 had coffees and the staff seemed pleasant enough. Second time 3 of us went for breakfast which were delicious apart from one person getting ham instead of salmon. Disappointing. Also when I went to pay I was actually asked if I would like to leave a tip. Obviously I didn’t. Tried there again just 2 of us and had to wait quite a while as the chap on the till was on the telephone, putting his point across to someone on the other end.Eventually got seated and ordered coffees, and a sausage roll. Coffee was nice but waited nearly half an hour for the sausage roll to be heated. Then the chap who had been on the till came over and started shuffling the tables around which made us feel unwelcome there. I guess he was new. We promptly paid and left, never to return, very disappointed.

We celebrated our wedding 03/05/2025 at lakeside kitchen & bar and what an amazing experience. Lotte you have worked extremely hard to make our day extra special. The team who worked on the night were fantastic and made sure all guests were cared for. The food (BBQ) was absolutley delicious. Thankyou to everyone who worked the night , most definitely the perfect wedding!

Friendly and helpful staff - and customers. Met a man giving free dog biscuits to canine visitors. So kind! Better signage would help visitors find the way to the cafe. Not a great range of food - we’re vegetarians. Slow service but it had just opened up. Great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ views of the area. Pram and wheelchair accessible Lovely morning! Staying at Ferry Meadows so walked especially to have lunch after reading reviews. Arrived at 1.30 only to find kitchen closed. Very disappointing. We stayed for coffee and a scone which were both very nice as was the server. Checked on line for opening hours, so very disappointed as they say 4pm. Also I would like to add that the metal tables need a good clean as crumbs and food in between slats.

A place i find myself returning to time and time again. Excellent view of the meadows and right on the lake, You're right next to ducks, geese and swans. It is the main cafe & restaurant in Ferry Meadows. Which is a great big green space on the edge of Peterborough. Food and coffee without being overbearing and is right next to the car park. So you can eat on your way in or your way out. It has three different styles of seating including outdoor on the patio, inside the conservatory or in the main cafe space. So there's always a type of seating of that suits why I'm there and who I'm with. You typically order at the cafe counter, which has a selection of sandwiches, snacks, cakes and cold drinks at the fridge. If you're ordering from the menu, you're given a wooden spoon/spatula with your table number on it. Give the large seating footprint, the started asking whether you're sitting inside or outside kind of just to make the little easier for them to find you :) Whenever you sit, the seating is not cramped and very spacious. So you don't feel you're eating over someone else's shoulder. Have a good selection of coffees and cakes and the food is excellent with generous portion sizes. I am often in there for breakfast and they have a nice full English in both meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Though I think the vegan options are slightly smaller it's still a good size. It's child and pet friendly and also has both high chairs and dog bowls available for water. It's OK (I'd even say, great) place to work from with a laptop. The two person tables are just about big enough for laptop and meal but plugs are not ubiquitous. There are certainly a few tables with plugs, especially in the extension (not to be confused with the viewing platform or conservatory). So if you are there for work, you might optionally want to find your seat first, but because they give you a spoon with your table number on its, and that can change, it's absolutely no disaster if you don't and it's quite seamless.

Beautiful place which is really worth visiting but better take your own food with you. Prices have long ago exceeded reasonable levels and waiting times are too long.

£25 to park over night, get £3 off your food. I bought cottage pie peas and some chips (glad I got side of chips) costing £14 ask for it as a take away, got back to wagon food looks lovely however only hot thing was the chips. Maybe they should use my £25 to by a thermometer to test temperature of food before serving it up.

The food was perfect and so were the staff. Jack served us all the way through, from taking our booking over the phone to hand making the shakes for us. They couldn’t do enough, they executed and accommodated all out request no questions asked. They were very caring too throughput the whole experience, and I feel each of the three of us was spoken to and listened to not as a group but as individuals making sure every one of our needs were taken care of should we have needed it. Yet again I have to specifically sing the praises of Jack who was the ‘jack of all trades’ (pardon the pun) of Resist. He did everything from being on the phones, to getting us seated and served, taking our orders, plus he knows every item on the menu which was very impressive! He was so charismatic and charming too, so great and refreshing to see someone young, sharp, and passionate about what they do, taking great pride in their work. He definitely has a very bright future ahead of him. But yes, as I mentioned the food was also amazing, plenty of options and each was as incredible as any other. They’ve really got a good thing going here, vegan or not you have to try Resist.

The only all-vegan eatery in town! I took away two meals to eat at home. The seasonal (Dec 2022) Yule Dirty Beast is scrumptious - a cheeseburger plus Christmasy ingredients like stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, two little pigs-in-blankets and even slices of roasted brussels sprouts. Wow! The kofta kebab is also very good and filling, with lots of salad ingredients and lots of “meat” between pieces of flat bread. Friendly service.

We walked past this place and thought why not try something different. We should have kept on walking. The menu which isn't on display consists of burgers or wraps. Served with seasoned fries. The burgers are priced at approximately £15 each. There was no alternative advertised to the fries. The vegan beef burger was quite moist with an interesting flavour and is far better than the vegan chicken. A tiny pot of ketchup or mayonnaise is an extra at £1 a time. Something which really should be included with burger and fries. With Tea and Coffee the bill came to just short of £35.00. To be honest 20 minutes in Sainsbury's buying the ingredients and 20 minutes in your own kitchen would save you money and probably taste better. Hopefully the restaurant will try to be a little more imaginative and increase the range on offer.

Massively enormous portions which are really tasty, hand delivered by friendly and attentive staff. I had a fantastic Chickun Schwarma. My mum took hers home in a bag there was so much. Superb, 10 out of 10

Just had a vegan cheese quarter pounder and my husband the bbq stacker with seasoned/rosemary fries. Omg were these amazing. Whatever your preference for food definitely check Resist! out as they taste like real meat. We will be back very soon to work through the menu. Staff are so friendly and let us know you can bring your dog which is awesome.

Good food and service. I ordered chickun shawarma, fries & drink which were good however the vegan fried chicken is the best. The breakfast served at weekends was amazing too. Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

The wait for food was 50 minutes, I was not made aware of the wait time when ordering, they only placed a sign up that it will be around a 40 minute wait after I had already been sat waiting for the food, the food came and all it was is okay. The chicken burger, the chicken was only in half of the burger leaving the rest to just be bread and tomato, chicken was also dry so I’m assuming it was overcooked. The chicken burger was very disappointing considering the wait.

Our experience started off okay and couldn’t fault the cafe and the customer service from the man who served me until we saw a child who threw up. The parent did try their best however rushed out, so when I alerted a staff member, they asked me what to do about it and didn’t seem interested. When I explained that the area clearly needed to be sorted, their response was, “I will go and get you some blue roll” and walked off to carry on what she was doing. Stayed for a further half an hour and still nobody came to sort it out, just thought hygiene could be improved.

The food at the cafe was excellent, we ordered toasted baguettes which came out quite quickly and served with a side salad and crisps. Although they were having a problem with the coffee machine the team and coffee were served quickly and hot. The cafe was comfortable and clean with plenty of seating.

Beautiful spot for tea and ice cream. Enjoyed the lovely views, walk, bike ride and playground. Fantastic day out. Pricey car park. It is worth bringing own bikes as the hire of a bicycle per guy is about £25. There are a lot of activities available, such as canoeing, kayaking, body boarding and more. There is also a farm shop by the lake where it is possible to buy cereals in your own box or jar. Two cafes on site to choose from.

Wonderful cafe, dog friendly inside & out. Plenty indoor, covered outside and patio seating areas. Can highly recommend both breakfast and lunch, plenty choice for both. Snacks & ice creams also available.

This establishment's unprofessional and unskilled staff makes for a terrible experience. It's better to get your coffee elsewhere, as the employees here seem to have no concept of food hygiene and are incredibly inefficient. You'll wait half the time anywhere else, and the prices are exorbitant. Despite past negative experiences, this visit was no different. For example, after ordering two cappuccinos without chocolate, a staff member with long nails unhygienically dipped her nail into my coffee while struggling to lift a can. Additionally, the cashier initially forgot to charge us for the cappuccinos, even though two dishes and two spoons were prepared. To make matters worse, the barista disregarded the queue, serving customers who ordered after us. There were no apologies, just unhelpful smiles. While the location is great, the miserable staff operates with shocking incompetence, as if they're still learning basic tasks.

Pros: Nice park, great place to bring children and dogs. Lots of tables, inside and outside (some covered too). Cons: Coffee. They have a proper big espresso machine but make little effort to make nice coffee. If you like a nice coffee with a pretty pattern on top, you'd be best to lower your expectations here...

We stopped here for breakfast with the dog. The full english was nice but the scrambled eggs on toast were bland. No seasoning and over cooked. Also we were pretty disappointed that such a cafe would be serving cheap supermarket bread and not lovely sour dough or granary breads from the local bakery. Attention to such details would make this a lovely place for breakfast.

Had a lovely Afternoon Tea today @ The Granary Tea Room. First time visitors, but will definetly visit again. Beautifully presented selection of sandwiches,cakes & savoury bits, with a big pot of tea. All served to us by a lovely friendly lady. The 1st time my Husband has asked for cake to be wrapped to take home,as he was so full ! The Fruit Scones with clotted cream & Jam were gorgeous. Well worth a visit . Thank you to My Son & Daughter-in-Law for our Afternoon treat xx

We found this place in the book 'The Extra Mile ' it's quite a way off the A1 but well worth the distance. Lovely cafe with lovely staff and an excellent breakfast. All local produce, well cooked and presented.

We love it here! Been several times. Excellent food! personally I love their bacon baps, but all their food looks very nice. The afternoon teas look amazing too. After eating we have a browse round the plants and the well stocked butchery. Service excellent too.

On the way back from stamford found this place, was a lovely cafe with a farm shop on site we enjoyed our cakes and a drinks, yummy milkshake! The menus look good including the Christmas menu, will be looking to come back soon.

Had an Afternoon Tea booked through a voucher. I sent an email requesting a booking on a specific date and got no reply, so had to email again a week later. This time they replied but it was after the date I had wanted, the emails were from the owner Jo. Anyway after selecting a different date and receiving confirmation I then turned up on the booked date. It was Jo who received me and I told her I had an Afternoon Tea booked at 2pm and was seated. After 20 mins of waiting I asked a passing waitress what was going on as we were being ignored and was then told that my booking wasn’t in the book. I showed proof of the emails to the owner, Jo, who wouldn’t even take responsibility that it was her that hadn’t written down my booking in the diary. I was then told they’d have to make up the Tea and she walked off. I had to go up and ask for a drink as I wasn’t even offered that while waiting. After a total wait of 40 mins we were served. Based on my experiences I thought Jo wasn’t professional at all, seemed very offhand and she gave bad service. This was a treat for my elderly Mum and neither of us would recommend going because of the way we were treated because of Jo’s mistake that she never apologised for. The only reason I have given as much as a 3 star is because the food was good.

Popped in after a walk around Thorney and so glad we did. Delicious milkshakes, food was beautiful and just what we needed. The garden is lovely to sit in the sun with the parasols giving enough shade. Staff were so friendly and the scones, oh my. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in today for a snack. What a lovely little gem of a tearoom. Everything was top quality, freshly prepared, and friendly obliging staff, in pretty environment. So good we took a few cakes home!!! I must go again and soon.

We were visiting the area and called in initially for a hot drink. After seeing the menu we decided to get a bite to eat and we’re glad we did. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful, the tables are clean and the surroundings pleasant. When we had finished we ordered some cake to takeaway which we had later in the evening and can confirm the deserts and cakes taste as good as they look

Couldn't recommend more. When booking the table for my mums birthday the lady on the phone was great, so full of knowledge about the place, made you feel comfortable and took care of everything. When arrived felt really welcome, the afternoon tea was amazing all freshly made that day, sandwiches were great, scones were omg amazing and the cake out of this world. The staff were amazing with my newborn and I haven't felt so at home and comfortable anywhere like this place. Please go there

If your heading to or leaving Peterborough on the A47 and feel like a break. Have a drive through Thorney. There’s a nice little tea shop serving hot & cold food & drink. It’s very clean and has very friendly service. It may be worth booking as it’s a small place and can get busy at times.

Popped in on Thursday around 2pm my other half had chips and a cappuccino I had coke cheese omelette and chips. Service was excellent a huge change from some places .Staff are brilliant Toilet was spotless. We enjoyed our meal didn't take long and was piping hot.This cheese omelette was the best I've had for years since the old days of the Golden Egg chain of restaurants. The cheese used was quality omelette was light and fluffy with the cheese in the middle melted correctly . We will be back Whuttlesey has a true jewel here andbits so pleasant to feel you are valued as a customer what's not to like

This place is not what I expected in the best way. Take your own alcohol, with no corkage and amazing Chinese food. We shared the mixed starter, which was delicious. Especially the smoked chicken and the prawn toast. Then I had the vermicelli Singapore style. Lovely spice level, huge prawns and a generous portion. Can't believe I've not been here before, but will definitely be back. Alice and her family are very welcoming and have a great little place.

Alice, her hubby and their daughter Josie are a superb team. We love the quality and freshness of the food (especially the chow mein and dumplings too!), and the personal touch whether it’s a takeaway or we eat in, which we have regularly got years.

Good size all day breakfast, well cooked. Would have liked the option to have black pudding, and also there is no indication on the menu that they only serve Lincolnshire sausages.

Popped in here for breakfast while staying in the area. Shop is in a central location, well presented and was clean on my visit. Staff were friendly and professional. Food (breakfast) came out in good time and was of lovely quality. Price point was decent too. Would recommend, thank you guys.

We visited the village for a Sunday coffee. The place is lovely, so nice and cozy atmosphere. People were so welcoming and chatty. The environment is just amazing and we really loved it. The only con was the coffee. We got cappuccino and it was way overextracted and burned. It tasted really bad. Apart from that the food was smelling amazing and even if we didn't try it it looked really good.

We stopped off for lunch here one Saturday on the way to Newmarket, and the food was good and fresh, and the staff were friendly and attentive. After lunch we had a short walk to explore the old bridge close to the cafe, which was lovely!

A beautifully intimate but also welcoming to families. We had a beautiful meal, not only food wise but in the way the staff interacted with us and our little ones. Making our toddler feel incredibly included and welcome. Too the food, I enjoyed what I can only describe as one of the best pies I have ever eaten. A beautiful beef, stout and cheese pie.. on par with any high end restaurant in London, but at a fraction of the price and with better service. My wife enjoyed one of the specials, a stew, whilst sounding simple it was executed to perfection, beautifully tasting and incredible tasty.. we will return and enjoy this place hopefully many times in the future! Thank you so so much

Fantastic place, even if you're just passing, definitely stop and explore the village.. good dog walk nearby. So much more than a café, friendly, very professional staff, 🐕 loves this place, settles happily in the corner and staff very considerate to four legged customers. Food is great, second time here and consistently excellent quality. Breakfast menu is extensive and lots of healthy and vegan, vegetarian options. Really comfortable, easy to relax and while away time ☺️

First time and I absolutely love the vintage, retro style cafe. Had a date here with only drinks as food was too late. Always works till 4pm. But it was cozy and the staff are so helpful and friendly. will come back. 💕💕💕

I wasn't too impressed with the cafe, but maybe it was just me having an off day. However, the garden centre was amazing. Helpful staff on hand and what a fantastic collection of just about everything you'll ever need for your garden. I was blown away by the number of healthy plants and trees they have on show. We'll done guys.

Can see a big difference since taken over by Blue Diamond. Very nicely laid out store with goods at fair prices & friendly staff. Both indoor & outdoor plants are well looked after,presented nicely & realistically priced. Restaurant menu has a sensible variety of nice plated food & cakes at average prices. Look forward to my next visit.

Restaurant looks impressive after the makeover. Like the seating bays near the cake n coffee bar. Menu very ordinary and quite pricey too. Staff very obliging. Nice to have waitress service after ordering at the till

Food was terrible. I don't know how they can justify £12 for a wrap. You get hardly anything and the wraps are tiny. Completely bland as well. I'd never return. Staff very friendly, atmosphere great, but food was blummin awful.

Pleasant surroundings, clean and comfy but... ordering food was a mission! A long que for one till working... the staff needed more training & more staff needed. eventually ordered the meals and waited too long for it to arrive. When it came it was a mixture of over cooked & cold..we won't be going back.

Really like the new refurbishment since it became blue diamond. Very organised and lots to look at. The cafe and restaurant are nice and lovely to sit in with a tree in the middle. So glad they have free from cakes too which was great.

Unfortunately, it was not a delight this time visiting. I ordered 2 portions of chips with to hot drinks the chips were priced at £2.50 a portion, what we received was quarter of a bowl of chips each absolutely shocking. I complained and did receive a refund for one portion, staff were happy to help and friendly but the food was shocking. For your info m&S I have provided a bowl of chips you provide in your restaurant to a bowl I cooked at home at a fraction of the price.

I absolutely loved this café, the area was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and approachable, the service time was good considering we were there at lunchtime (12.30ish) and most importantly the food was so delicious! The menu has a good selection of snacks and meals both hot and cold and a large selection of drinks. Although it was busy the seating layout made it possible to have a conversation without feeling that you were struggling to be heard. The food is reasonably priced as the quality is exceptional, just what you would expect from M&S. I would definitely recommend this café and I will be returning 😊.

Waited 40 minutes for simple food and then had my sandwich arrive sloppy with spicy red pepper sauce- after asking what came on it and being told it was served with sauces on the side. It was inedible. The potato was a mess, the “ciabatta fingers” were a breadstick sliced in half. This isn’t the staff’s fault. It’s an M&S training and staffing problem. Do better, M&S.

Arriving for some lunch at The M&S Cafe in Brotherhood Peterborough with my husband and the queue once again is out the door. All Staff on slow mode again. Overhearing then a staff member the lady with the Red short hair to say to Customers in line waiting “We are running out of food”and to the young girl on the till. Errr not very professional that is it. Umm this is a Cafe is it not? Running out of food at 1.30pm? Lunch time! The mind beggars to belief. After standing in the queue for quite some time and customers now at this point are astounded to witness that the staff members, and at this point there are 3 behind the counter no one is serving. The young lady then walks off the others one with short red hair the other an older lady with a scrunchy in her hair just stand there talking totally ignoring the queue and Customers. HELLO!!! Then they too decided to walk off after the young girl returns to the counter. The customers at this point are fuming some walking out. Not being seen too or greeted on arrival WHATS GOING ON? Where is the manager in all this. No sense of Customer service. No tables were being cleared but staff everywhere to be seen. All to busy doing absolutely nothing!!! And that at lunch time. Overhearing Customers that was already seated and waiting for their food discussing the dysfunctional Cafe and Staff. My husband returned to the counter for some extra milk for our tea asking politely only, for the lady with the short red hair to make a huffing breathing sound at him like it’s to much trouble serving him again for then my husband to say to her “Have I upset you asking for extra milk”. What on Earth is up with the Staff at this Cafe. Rude no work ethics no manners and can not be bothered with Customers let alone do their job. Just want to say if the job is too much and you don’t like serving Customers then maybe you’re in the wrong job and time for a change. We can’t fault the food as always it’s tasty and pleasant to eat. So thumbs up for the Chefs but the Staff on the floor are appalling.

Sandwiches purchased were lovely. My issue (as always with M&S Cafes) is the lack of clear tables and cleaning. Out of many tables probably only one or two were free from previous cups and plates. Why not direct people to take their trays/crockery to a stacking area?

Stopped by for lunch today, we have done this a few times, the food and service is always great. Today they told us there would be a 30 minute wait for food because of some fridge issues they had last night, 40 minutes later a staff member came over apologised, gave us a full refund for the food and said our food would be out shortly, 5 minutes later the food came and it was tasty as always. I went to the fridge to buy another bottle of cider and they said it was free because of our wait. Couldn't fault them.

Waited what appeared to be a long time for our all day breakfast. Mentioned this to the waitress who immediately apologised and offered to refresh our tea. I accepted and really enjoyed the meal. Well done M &S for rectifying the situation. Other restaurants should note.

Wonderful afternoon tea, one of the best if not the best we have tried thus far. Perfect balance of savoury and sweet. Options of herbal tea if you prefer. Everything tasted super fresh and the scones were warm! Coronation chicken was a total showstopper sandwich. Would’ve tried a milkshake but I was stuffed by the end. Quiet and calm place. Highly recommend booking even if you’re not having an afternoon tea. The couple running it are so friendly and kind.

I discovered Elsie’s Vintage Tea Room whilst out doing some delivery driving. I was gobsmacked at its terrific attention to detail, and the whole aesthetic. I knew it was pitch perfect not just got me, but my wife, also. On my first brief/flying visit, I had (hone-made Battenberg cake, and tea. Lovely! And as soon as I could, I went back, with Teresa, my wife. She loved - or rather loves - it, just as I do. The decor is incredible. Period details abound. It combines a visual trip down memory lane with totally appropriate period music (Graham, one half of the husband and wife team that run the place is a former DJ!). The food and drinks are both modest, and modestly priced. A perfect combo’ for relaxed enjoyable eating and drinking. On our first visit as a couple, we both had baked ‘taters. The portions are generous. The fare, simple and unpretentious, is delicious. We capped it all off with one of their fabled knickerbocker glories. And it was glorious! Elsie’s is only open a few days a week. And it’s advisable to call and book. We can’t wait to get back there again. Highly recommended!

Lovely traditional & very cosy vintage tea room in a lovely country location. Elsies can soon fill up & advanced booking is advised. Nice menu, that whilst limited, is freshly prepared to order & is delicious. (Lovely cakes too!) Graham greats everyone warmly & serves everyone with a smile. There are some vintage 'nick nacks' for sale too. Worth noting that only cash is accepted, but metric is now taken! Gorgeous find & we will definitely be back when next in the area.

visited today,05/08/15, despite being asked twice if the vegetables were fresh and being told "yes" by the waiter, was disappointed to find they were frozen. I do not like being lied to and he would have gained more credibility by just telling the truth.

This Costa is inside Next outlet. There is another branch just walking distance away. The cakes were delicious but their coffee was average. Not the best in town. But it was good to try them out. The atmosphere was comfortable and ideal for catching up with friends.

Abysmal latte. I reluctantly visited here as my usual Costa (Maskew Avenue) had exhausted its supply of whipped cream. My order is always consistent, yet this location presented me with a concoction utterly unrecognisable and revolting.

Went in today, but sadly they had run out of various things such as chocolate powder, which meant there was a very limited menu, was a little frustrating to find this out after having queued for a long time. I had a Mint Choc Chip frostino, at other stores, they usually add chocolate sauce to the inside of the cup, but it was not the case here. Maybe they had run out of that too!

Really loved it here. Its accessible to wheelchair users, and it's nice and small, clean and clear what you can order.

I went here with my friend on Friday 5th May 2023 for lunch. Very busy cafe. My friend ordered her food and I had a 5 (five) item breakfast and a smoothie. The cafe was very clean and had a selection of cakes, teas, coffee and other food items on a specials board. What I got wasn't what I was expecting. The bacon was over cooked and hard, the very small potion of mushrooms was ok. The egg was nice a runny. Toast is classed as a breafast item and was extra and the black pudding wasn't a thick slice. I was left hungry and disappointed. The smoothie was lovely though. The prices are quife high for the quality of the food. Mine tasted buttery. Strange taste really. For a snack it's great, but the potion sizes needs to be addressed ASAP please. Friendly and polite staff.

I use the Lounge 3 times a week often am and pm the ladies are always the same a great welcome awaits never been then you are missing out.

What rule amazing staff work here an elderly gentleman became ill we witnessed the staff looking after him, calling for an ambulance, obtaining a defibrillator they were all modern day Florence Nightingales. There business in the Lounge came second to the health & well being of this gentleman. Amazing, awesome, caring, compassionate forget about the food and drink being fantastic.

Consistent quality of food and drink. A decent stop when on a cycle or motorcycle ride to the coast. Plenty of parking and place to sit outside. Staff were a bit moody when we came not long before closing time…

I walked up to the counter no “how can I help” not even a “hello” or a smile. Just a blank stare. I think the young girl needs a new job or really work on her customer service skills. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she’s just plain miserable. Avoid this Starbucks like the plague.

Where do I start. ?? Had to wait 5minutes before any kind of service and there wasn't any queuing. The two girls behind the coffee machine were cleaning and taking no notice of customers. There was a shortage of food on display which was at all pleasing, at least 4 tables had coffee cups and trays left on them and not tidyed away. And the floor hadn't been swept. There were three girls on from what I could see and 1 one doing dishwasher stuff and the other two bickering about something. Not very good CS. I do like to stop here most of the time but on this occasion Customer Service was poor to say the least..

Often come here as the food and service is good, however since the refurbishment has been done won't come back, the seats are hard, the lighting is far too bright and the whole concept of a relaxing coffee lounge doesn't feel good, it actually looks and feels like a hospital waiting room nit coming back.

Most polite Starbucks staff I've ever experienced. Coffee was good. Apparently the Ladies toilets left a bit to be desired but there were only the two staff, that I could see, on duty. It was very busy in the coffee shop so couldn't blame them.

Tanya in particular was very helpful and empathetic, had a long journey on the train and came off with a terrible headache but after being welcomed by the staff and given excellent service having a hotchoc and almond croissant I felt much better! Great little venue if you fancy a fry up during the day or a slice of cake. I went for the Full English plus an extra sausage with a latte this came upto £14 which is quite expensive for a small cafe not centrally located. The food was nice all served hot and there were a great selection of cakes and toasted sandwiches. I think for the price you pay it would be nice to have a bigger breakfast or more options available. There is limited controlled parking in the pub opposite and a touchscreen interface is available at the till to input your registration details Overall good atmosphere, nice food, steep prices

Been meaning to visit this place for ages and finally did over the Jubilee weekend. Did not disappoint. Lovely garden at the rear, great decor and great cake. Would highly recommend.

Visited for lunch today as a treat for my daughters and their friend. Nice selection to choose from with the children going for the sandwich options. It was a good portion size for them and all were enjoyed. I opted for the hot sausage roll as the quiche wasn’t available (will be back to try it next time) which is possibly one of the best I have ever had. We finished off with some cake and again these were all very nice but the kids struggled with the portion size as they were very generous portions🤭 The scone with jam & cream won it for me though on this visit. An absolute gem of a place and somewhere we are lucky to have on our doorstep. This wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!

Nipped in on my way through Werrington. Ordered a fudge tart, which was amazing, and a black coffee. It was very busy, but I was told there was plenty of room out back. The place opens out to a 50's style rock 'n' roll diner.

Ordered the breakfast to go, I was visiting Peterborough for work and didn't have enough time to sit down and eat. I ended up eating the breakfast much later when it was cold but it was still good. The service was friendly and fast as was the food prep if I'm ever in that part of the world again I'll definitely be paying it another visit.

Food was perfectly cooked, but the bacon was very salty in my opinion and the price has shot up and now too expensive for what it is, where it is, and what you get

Popped into this shop whilst on a ride out. Did some shopping and had a breakfast from the cafe. I had a small breakfast and tea. The Bacon was very clean and cooked well no grease, sausage was tasty egg was cooked well. Beans here hot, Tom’s were hot. I enjoyed it that much I wish I brought the bigger breakfast. Well everyone. I have been watching on line about bowsers the food the burgers and today I bit the bullet and went. Well I was pleased to be met with a warm welcome and pleasant staff. I fancied the Hawaiian burger..I was assured that it's ingredients quality and the beef in the burger was local sourced.quarter pound Beef burger double bacon ,salad and loads of cheese in a brioch bun home made burger relish and homemade chilli sauce Wow. As good as any burger I've ever had from any of the big burger boys. Highly RECOMMENDED@£7.00 cheaper than most!! get in there folks. Quality 🍔

I always treat myself to a Starbucks before shopping and thought I would try this one since I was in the area today. But unfortunately, not the best experience in a Starbucks branch. When I first went in, there were no clear signs on where to queue and was standing in the wrong place at first, I asked a staff member if I’m queuing in the right place as people who had come in after me had started forming a queue at a completely different part of the shop. The layout is really weird, with the till in the middle rather than nearer one end. So there was people kind of waiting in a few different spots at one point. Anyway, once I was served, I firstly queried about the snoopy cups that were being advertised, just on the off chance that they may have a few left. I wasn’t hopeful but thought I would give it a shot in asking. I was told by the staff member that as far as he was aware that none of the Peterborough Starbucks stores had any allocation delivered. Obviously disappointing but I knew they were limited edition, so wasn’t hugely disappointed. I carried on, and ordered an oat milk cappuccino. Upon waiting for my coffee, I noticed low and behold, one of the snoopy cups sat behind the counter in plain sight of the public with it half full. Obviously they had had an allocation, as a staff member was clearly using one. I understand they’re limited edition and was fine with what I was told at the till, but I now believe this is not the case. I’m not a confrontational person and just brushed it off. I came in to have a coffee and a sit down. Once I’d sat down with my drink, after a few sips I’d noticed something didn’t taste right. A sticker was stuck to the side of my cup with my order…I wasn’t given oat milk, it was semi skimmed. LUCKILY I choose to have oat milk out of choice, and I don’t have any allergies. The shop had gotten quite busy at this point with a bit queue and lots of people waiting for their drinks, so I just finished up my coffee and left. I’ve been to many Starbucks and have never had this problem. This has probably been the worst one, the atmosphere was quite low and not what I usually experience in a Starbucks branch. There was also only two people out of the 40 minutes I was there working, lots of people waiting for a while for their drinks too. Unfortunately I won’t be returning to this Starbucks branch next time I’m in Peterborough.

The service has really gone down since I last visited 2 years ago. Staff is much more interested in chatting between themselves than customers or the quality of drinks. From another point- there are hardly any queues now. I've ordered their birthday frappe in 3 variations with different milks. And the one was clearly barely sweet, so they forgot about the syrups. Not the best drink anyway, but cool cups :) Also they're not calling your name anymore, just shout the names of the drinks like other cafes, so lost that personal approach :/

Quite a few people waiting for there orders to be made. Once ordered placed got some cakes to go with coffee but had only one plate. Then received my coffee but waited 15-20 minutes for my partners drink. Not good watching customers coming in getting drinks and still not receiving my partners order should be made together not made to wait 15-20 minutes. One lady in there was just giving death stairs other two lady's were run of there feet. Poor service could see customers were not happy.

Ricky and adele were fantastic!!!. BOTH are amazing assetts to your business. Frome the moment I walked in they were friendly and new how to have the crack (banter). It's the first time I have been to peterborough and they made me feel very welcome and totally looked after. I would recommend this branch solely because of Ricky and Adele.

Gorgeous building, nice inside but could do with a little update. Friendly team but service was so slow. We went twice in the same day and both times had to wait a while as it was only one person serving and making the drinks but two other works stood to the side chatting, acting busy.. looked like a manager and supervisor 🙄

Smallish but super friendly Clearly popular with people getting take outs but it does have plenty of seating for its size. In the heart of the city and next to the cathedral. Can be a mess on a busy weekend as the tables get covered in junk fast. Partly because people just clear off “their” table to the nearest empty one . Working wifi, plenty of plugs and decent enough toilets.

Absolutely worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. Appauling service for 8:30am. Staff were miserable. Didn't serve me first at the front of the queue (just chose randomly). Werent calling out names when drinks were ready so loads of people just standing around. Drink was usual starbucks quality. But everything else awful. Wont be using them again.

My husband and I visited Bijou this weekend and it has a lovely atmosphere. The kind of place you could easily relax and have fun all night.The new decor and paint is stunning. The bar looks incredible as does the art throughout. You can really tell that that they care; We tried 2 drinks and they were not only beautifully presented but also the best tasting mocktails I have ever had. The sourdough pizza we tried (pepperoni and hot honey) was delicious and fresh. Amazing choice for a night out away from the kids.

Went to the opening day of the new relaunched Bijou and the place looks amazing, the new colour scheme and decorations are miles apart from the old style. The white, pink and green work amazing together. The improved bathrooms are much cleaner and everything looks like it's redocorated with care. We had 2 mocktails (Cherry bomb and popstar) and they tasted really fresh, we also had a hot honey pizza which was delightful and well cooked with a perfectly crispy base and tasty toppings The staff themselves were polite, they came to see if our food was to our liking and if we wanted anything else. The drinks where prepared in front of us, so we could see their dedication to their craft, and the pizza didn't take long to cook in their kitchen Well done guys, will definitely be coming back

Bottomless brunch was great, Jade looked after us so well, even though it was 1 drink at a time the next drink was bought over so quickly. Hats off to all the staff, pepperoni pizza and the Bijou special pizza were both delicious. Highly recommend and will come again.

Came for bottomless brunch for a friends birthday. Initially there was a slight issue with the booking however from the second we walked in there Jade (Venue Manager) made us feel like royalty and completely rectified all issues. She made our experience so great and we would definitely return again. Thank you Jade for making it so special for us ☺️

My experience here was disappointing. The customer service was poor, and the staff seemed to lack basic knowledge about proper coffee preparation. Additionally, my espresso was served in a takeaway cup and then transferred into a regular cup—a big mistake, as this affects the coffee's flavor and quality. It would have been better to make a fresh one instead of handling it carelessly.

Just ordered 2 x Tiramisu frapps, and for £13+ they were awful. They looked and tasted nothing like what we've had and enjoyed from elsewhere. If I hadn't had to go back to work, I would have gone back and complained. It was like having a weak coffee latte with lots of chocolate syrup. The wait at the drive-through service was terrible, too, and there were no other cars waiting!

Waited 10 minutes at the speaker until someone finally asked me what I wanted, they were rude. Waited another 10 minutes at the Collection window and my cup was half filled. I have been in there a couple times with my friends, we waited in the line together and the staff took my friends order and not mine, one made my friends drink and the person at the till left to clean the tables, 5 minutes later they came back to take my order. This has happened twice. All of the staff has changed in the past couple of months for the worse. Will not be returning.

It was a lovely sunny day when I was at Starbucks Orton, I wanted to sit outside in the sunshine however with the constant smoking on nearby tables the disgusting stink of passive smoke meant I left. Many of the smokers were not even customers- they parked up and had a fag without even going into the Starbucks. THIS STARBUCKS SHOULD PUT UP NO SMOKING SIGNS OUTSIDE.

I ordered the classic oatmeal on Saturday at 10:22am, there were only three cars in front of me, the service was so slow that the driver in front of had to call out to ask what was going on. I didn’t bother to wait for the porridge when it finally got to my turn!

Extremely slow service, there was 1 car in front of me, it took a long time to get through. And when I got to the window, they had forgotten to put my order in so I had to wait longer. No apology for the mishap, will not be returning to this branch.

Really nice place to come and do some work or studying. Weekdays it's generally quite quiet up until about 12ish, which is nice because I like to get here bright and early. This Costa is open most days from 6am which is perfect for me as I'm a very early riser. Food and drinks are always nice, I love to have my Vanilla Hot Cocolate with a croissant 🥐 and a salted caramel brownie. The food here also always seems fresher than some of the other Costa's in PBO, maybe they get through a lot of stock as they must get busy in the day?. Staff very pleasant and friendly 💕. You get 3 hours free parking which is more than enough time if you're catching up with a friend ☕🍵

Love this costa. My local so use it regularly probably 2-3 times a week. Staff friendly. Drinks & food lovely. Mine a kids fav place to go. Looks lovely since the refit as well. But was still rather nice prior to that anway 👏🏻♥️

Milk was boiling over in the jug, I should have questioned it at the time, but this was way too hot, and didn't taste good at all. In addition even though I paid for a medium the cup was only half full. Been a costa fan forever, but would strongly NOT recommend this place. It's a drive through, although I went inside, and all three of the members of staff I saw had headsets on and we happily chatting away to themselves, I am guessing each other, as a customer at the drive through wouldn't have been chatting about the weekend! There was some muck (goodness knows what) on the lid when I got outside, so it would be sensible to keep a higher level of hygiene when handling lids as I was supposed to be drinking from it and couldn't. I bought a lemon tart that I had to throw away, the topping seemed all congealed and dull, the pastry was soft, which is definitely a no! Overall If I could have scored a minus I would have. spent £7 in total, and the coffee was half full and tasted bad and the cake was just rank! I am told the other cake I got (millionaires shortbread was good though).

Serendipitously stumbled upon this establishment, and what a fortuitous discovery it was. The coffee was exquisite, complemented by the congeniality of the staff, culminating in an altogether delightful ambiance. The service was impeccable, with the personnel exuding warmth and affability, frequently adorned with smiles. (I’m the one that comes in with the blue sunglasses!)

The staff here are more friendly than the Serpentine Green branch. This branch is more quiet so if you want to sit in and avoid big crowds, this is the place to come.

Ive been coming here for years consistently and without fail always sit in with a big smile on my face, whether i’m waiting for my food, eating it, or paying. There is no where else like this in the country, I would give 10/5 for atmosphere if I could. Thank you Jinja express for existing! A true hidden gem.

This café is probably most DEFINITELY one of the best places I've ever been too I would highly recommend everything the food is great quality and the chef always sings with the reggae in the background. The staff always have a smile on their face.Ive been going to this place for about 2 years now and the eggs are always fresh and runny,The chips have a really good quality I would highly recommend this place

Good place for breakfast...open till 2 pm excluding Monday.....small place...but good food... cappuccino is good for the price while comparing with other cafe... Update :- March 2023:- One sunday we went when the chef was singing Bollywood songs. We loved it.. the English breakfast option is great.. The cappuccino is no longer available.

Small cafe with nice food, the fried potatoes were really nice. Only problem was the latte machine was not working, but will go back again.

The breakfast is definitely the best i’ve tried loads of places nothing compares and his singing is amazing as well🤣🤣

Been here twice now, and the breakfast is amazing and tasty, comes out quick, and the chefs always singing, all staff lovely and polite, great value for money :)

Lovely and warm and delivery driver was very polite and customer service on the phone was lovely nice to have a laugh with people in the morning great experience and would highly recommend 👌🏽💪🏽

Not a perfect place, but it's okay for a quick breakfast. I ordered a cup of tea and a cake, they came to me to apologize that I don't have tea which I asked for. That's fine not a big deal, I can get some other, but the cake was brought to the table just like it is in plastic packaging with no side plate or spoon.

Fantastic place. Came here with my wife, daughters and grandchildren. I had a Queen Bee and boy, do you need a big appetite for this... We all love the food and will keep it on our list now for good wholesome food eateries

Absolutely fantastic food. Best fried breakfast iv ever had, all cooked perfectly and good quality meat and nicest hash browns. Friendly and beautifully decorated too. Like to thank all staff and owners that work here that's made it the place it is :) highly recommended :)

Proper sized portion and well cooked. This isn't Starbucks or Costa's American coffee bar; it's an English cafe done properly and well. Genuinely friendly staff. I wish them every success.

Our first-time in Honey Bee's. We loved it. We had full breakfasts and cheese omelette and chips The food was so well cooked and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice comfy environment too. We also bought a whole fudge tart which we can't wait to try.
