Hotel
Hotel Santa Maria is a 4-star accommodation situated in Fatima, close to the Sanctuary of Fatima and the Chapel of the Apparitions. It's an ideal choice for pilgrims seeking a peaceful stay. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with amenities such as television and free Wi-Fi, along with a dedicated chapel for prayer, a tranquil garden, and an airy restaurant. Despite some negative experiences reported by guests, many have praised its nice rooms and great service.
Perfect location right next to the sanctuary. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Food was excellent, and the service staff are incredibly helpful, especially the main waiter at the restaurant (can't remember his name but he's the bald fellow. Excellent service!)

Location was close in proximity to the Basilica, so that was convenient. We were with a tour group that paid for "luxury" level rooms. Our group of 4 ended up in a standard adjoining rooms, that were mildly better than a hostel, instead of two Superior level rooms. Beds were hard and pillows were tiny and well used. While the Bathrooms were large, they lacked the luxury touches and did not have personal wash/body cloths. The room had very few outlets for charging items. I would definitely make sure you book a "Superior" level room. Stuffy Room temperatures could not be changed from heat to air conditioning because the entire system is run by the hotel. We had to open a window to let in cooler air. Morning breakfast buffet was decent. They did not have 'take-away' cups for coffee on the go.
Jeni F — Google review
A quiet and well-located hotel, just steps away from the religious complex. The rooms are clean and modern, though a bit on the dim side when it comes to lighting. Bathrooms, on the other hand, are bright and generously sized. The restaurant serves tasty food, but the selection is somewhat limited. A memorable highlight of our stay was the chance to attend an evening sermon at the nearby ritual site—a truly special experience that made our visit to Fátima unforgettable.
Viktor R — Google review
07:00 am in the morning and no coffee service available or hot water or even tea and coffee supplies in the room! For a big group have to leave the hotel at 07:00 am because of their flight and they are told make your own arrangements, we can’t help you! As a travel agent, I wouldn’t rate this hotel as 4 or even 3 star until they improve their food and beverage service.
Elia E — Google review
I stayed at Hotel Santa Maria in Fatima, Portugal's central region. This 4-star hotel is a very nice and cosy place to stay, with spacious, clean rooms featuring comfortable beds and modern amenities. The service was excellent – friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. It's incredibly close to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, just a short walk away, perfect for pilgrims. The cozy lobby added warmth on cooler evenings. Secure parking and great value made it even better. It felt relaxing and convenient – highly recommend for a peaceful visit!
Dr. J — Google review
Hotel is located across the street from the Cathedral so it is very convenient. The hotel's staff is friendly and the food is great. Since the hotel is big, elderly or people with disabilities make sure to mention to the front desk during check in to get a room closer to the elevators. My only gripe is the bathroom is dated and a kind of smelly.
Paul T — Google review
Hotel Santa Maria enjoys an excellent location just a short walk from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, making it convenient for attending the evening candlelight procession. The rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a restful stay after a day of sightseeing. The staff are courteous and professional, and the breakfast buffet provides a good selection with quality items. The overall atmosphere is calm and reflective, ideal for pilgrims and travelers seeking comfort and convenience near the sanctuary.

This hotel was so conveniently located right next to Fátima, literally 3 minutes away! Rooms were clean, the food was awesome, and the decor was modern.

I got married at sdivine hotel and from the beginning the experience was amazing! Goretti the hotel manager was incredible and so helpful! During the reception the food was unbelievable good! And the staff was very friendly! The rooms were perfect and overall the most amazing experience!

Love this hotel. Outstanding staff who went out of their way several times. Perfectly clean. Great location near the freeway, Burger King, McDonalds, and a short lovely walk to the sanctuary. Very safe hotel and parking lot around the back with ample parking. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Dogs welcome. Also an area behind the car park to walk the dog. As good as you could ask for.
Toma L — Google review
The staff is very kind and friendly. They gave us the best room in our budget class. And the room was very classy with a modern look. We enjoyed our stay!
Evgeni I — Google review
There wasn't enough space to open my bag, but I liked that the bathroom seemed newly renovated and was very clean. The dinner buffet was also quite tasty.
EK K — Google review
Top location with a special ambience. We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay in this beautiful place. Our room and the place itself was very clean. Thanks for your hospitality and service. Absolutely enjoyed it!
P. B — Google review
Recently spent 8 nights here and had such a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though we didn't speak Portuguese. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a Junior suite which gave us more space (a couple + 6 year old). The room was big and bright and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and adequate. We were also offered breakfast when there was no buffet. We had to select our meal the night before and our amazing table was waiting for us the next morning. They also made provisions for gluten free options. Dinner on Saturday and Sunday night was also buffet style with some nice dishes. We had dinner once during the week which wasn't great but the overall service during our stay made up for that one disappointing meal. The hotel is centrally located and everything you need is within walking distance. It's also a short walk to the Sanctuary. There is a Chapel in the hotel where we had the privilege to attend Mass after almost 2 years. Mass time was at 9am on Sunday, not sure about other days. There's also free parking in the hotel premises (huge parking space) which was a big plus as we felt that extra sense of security of not parking on the street. We loved everything about this hotel and will definitely come back if we are ever in Fátima again.

A very classy hotel. Good food and most of all very friendly employees.

Beautiful and cozy with lots of love for detail. It’s the perfect place to relax for a few days and truly unwind! Everything is made with such care and both the breakfast and dinner are absolutely amazing.
Franziska — Google review
This is my first time my husband and I visited Fatima, Portugal, I am in love with the town and the hotel. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and quite hotel, this is a perfect choice. Pictures can't tell how beautiful this place is. From the heart shape gated entrance, to the welcoming entrance full of trees and flowers to the concrete flowered scented room, with a thin green door, with its pure white bed, towels, bath robes, and coffee station, windows that allow pure air to flow throughout the room, this is a mini retreat house. The stuff is a group of woman that are polite, and willing to do anything for you to feel confortable and welcomed. They pay so much attention to little details. Breakfast included lots of fresh seasonal fruits, nuts, hams, cheeses, yogurt, fruit juices, home made pastries and breads. You could sit for hours enjoying your meal. The breakfast room is adorable you have to see my pictures. There is a concrete above pool, a path to woods that connects to the stations of the cross and the place we're our Lady of Fatima appeared to the 3 children. The church is very close from the hotel.
LETICIA P — Google review
Paradise on earth, very charming and relaxing. The location is within walking distance of the Fatima square. Michelin rated restaurant which was a nice surprise for us. The staff could not do enough to make you feel at home.
Juan P — Google review
We had an amazing stay here – just two nights, but we left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Our room was wonderful, with a truly unique design, and the whole property has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Everything is beautifully landscaped, and walking through the gardens you’re surrounded by the scent of rosemary – such a treat. The heated pool was fantastic, with plenty of space to lounge and unwind, and there were so many quiet corners to just be still or even meditate in nature. The little walking trail was a highlight – it felt almost mystical, leading us into a small eucalyptus grove that smelled absolutely divine. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner, and we especially appreciated the vegan options. If there’s one small thing I would wish for, it’s regarding the little canary. He lives in a very tiny cage and without any companions. For such a mindful and peaceful place, it would feel more in tune to see him in a spacious aviary with other birds – or even better, to someday enjoy this beautiful property without any animals kept in cages at all.
Annika S — Google review
Beautiful if pretentious and NOT kid friendly - arrived hungry after a long drive to be turned away from dinner which was a main attraction to stay here. Was told I should have read the fine print in an email sent 3 days earlier while already on vacation, ‘ It is necessary to make a table reservation to ensure availability. If you would like a quicker service, you may place your order in advance.’ So from that I was supposed to make a table reservation before I even arrived?? And paying over $300/night not enough to be a priority for the restaurant?! In addition, the only other night we can eat here is a fixed menu only available for 75 Euros per person. Concern was met with perceived contempt. Do not recommend will not be back.
Melba M — Google review
This place has it all. Unbelievable luxury, peace and great architecture.
Joe L — Google review
We had an amazing stay! After a few days in Lisbon and before a day in Sintra we were craving some relaxing time, and Lux was the most perfect place. We woke up and enjoyed an incredible breakfast buffet (best I've ever had!) and then lounged by the pool before taking bikes into town. The staff is so friendly, and we especially loved our dinner where the Sous-chef came to our table to chat with us about the meal. 100% recommend! We also did a yoga class right when we arrived and it was just my husband and I - such a perfect way to transition into relaxation.

Hotel Santo Amaro is a relaxed 3-star hotel located in Fatima, Portugal, just 450 meters from the Sanctuary of Lady of Fatima. The air-conditioned guestrooms offer free Wi-Fi and feature large windows and simple furnishings. The hotel has two restaurants serving regional cuisine and a courtyard with a chapel. Guests have praised the friendly staff, delicious food, and convenient location within walking distance to the shrine.
Amazing place ! We arrived late to the hotel, but the staff at the reception was very welcome and had our room ready. Even they knew our name in advance as we were the last to arrive. The room is spacious for 4 people , clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and we asked for an option outside the display and the staff was very happy to help. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the Lady Fatima church and locate me in the Main Street where you can buy a lot of souvenirs. There is a feee private car parking at the back of the hotel. The area is quiet and a nice place to visit, highly recommended hotel. Just remember, it is August but if you plan to visit the late night mass, better to bring a jacket… 😄
Salam C — Google review
I've been here in 2017 , a centenary of famous OUR LADY OF FATIMA . . . HOTEL SANTO AMARO is still a great and wonderful place to be at a very reasonable price . Brilliant and courteous services on every aspect . A comfortable walking distance to the place of activities pertaining to the pilgrimage . I am truly impressed and very pleased for a 3 STAR that feels like a 5 STAR HOTEL . Till next time , soon .
Sally L — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Hotel Santo Amaro. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and located in a perfect spot—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. I especially want to mention Maiza, who works at the hotel. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a warm smile. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude really made my stay special. It’s rare to find someone so professional and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Hotel Santo Amaro to anyone visiting the area, and I’m grateful to have met such a wonderful staff member like Maiza. I will definitely come back!

Vegetarian...they knew in advance. While others getting lassanga and pommes with some meat in sauce I get salad full of garlic, tomato and canned peach and ananas. Then I got only a small portion of vegetables. Awful.

All the staff was really helpful and kind. They tried to help us in every way possible and they made us feel home. The ubication is great and the food was pretty good. The room was comfortable and we had a great stay!
Mariana S — Google review
The food was amazing! It was definitely worth it. I recommend the dinner highly. It's 11 euro per person and free for children, it was awesome. The staff were amazing too. The only problems were that the carpets were a bit faded and frayed and the TV was too old. It's only a 5 minute walk from the church, which is one of the main attractions of this place. It says three star at the hotel though so it's definitely not a two star like Google says.
Athul — Google review
Great hotel. 7 minute walk to the Cathedral. Food was good but slightly repetitive. Staff was helpful when getting directions to other places. Helped us order a special bus to get to another location. Helped the entire tour group in any way possible.
Andrew M — Google review
Although it is listed as a 3 star hotel, the facilities at Hotel Santo Amaro can be easily compared to a 4 star hotel. Clean rooms with private facilities, friendly staff, good breakfast and a superb dinner with free flowing of wine and water are assets of this hotel in the centre of Fatima just a few minutes away from the Sanctuary. Highly recommended!

Stayed at this Hotel Fatima in Portugal 🇵🇹 and enjoyed my experience due to the comfort , elegance and style . Shampoo bottles , lotions etc . all had “ Fatima “ logos which was a nice touch since my name is Fatima :))

(Stay during a Trafalgar tour in October 2024) Unless coming to the area specifically for the religious Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima Catholic experience would highly recommend a different hotel.  Hotel is located directly across and can hear it all, including the tour buses dropping off to the area. The buffet food in the restaurant was excellent. For my room the window wouldn't close completely or lock and for a solo female traveler was alarming. The bathroom had obvious mold on the walls and water damage in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable as well as the sheets. Within walking distance to many tourist shops but every single shop sold the same 10 things. Thought 20 min walk to closest grocery store. Service at front desk bar and restaurant was pleasant. If returning to the area would select a different hotel.
V S — Google review
Enjoyed my 1 night stay. Clean & conveniently next to the Sanctuary. Beautiful experience and close to the bus stations which is how we got there from Lisbon.
Anne R — Google review
A functional, clean & modern hotel. Not a lot of glamour nor 5 star about it but bed was comfortable and room large. Certainly good enough for a few nights stay
Malcolm L — Google review
Great location. Great breakfast staff and room cleaning staff. However there is one front desk / receptionist young lady with long dark hair and glasses who is quite rude and ignores people when you’re speaking to her. Other than her attitude, the stay was great.
Cee M — Google review
Best location hotel around Fatima. 5 minutes walk to many activities. Many shops and restaurant around the hotel's. Good services. Clean. High speed internet and free Wi-Fi. Hotel restaurant at the ground floor. Free breakfast with many options. For lunch and dinner, you can order from the restaurant. Recommended for small or big groups.
Hendra Y — Google review
Great place to stay as its right next to the Sanctuary. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was great.
Miguel M — Google review
A lovely hotel with an ideal location for easy access to the Sanctuary. Woefully inadequate, somewhat dim witted night staff. No double bed, only twin beds in the room with a view option for which I had paid extra. Very tiresome being fobbed off into the worst rooms available. Had to insist on the room being changed and eventually a much better room on the 3rd floor. The day shift staff were much better and attuned to being of service. Trees will soon completely obscure the view. Breakfast was the usual fare. Nothing upmarket for a 4 Star Hotel. 1 ply toilet paper while 2 star hotels have 2 ply... Clarity on what this hotel values. This appears to be a habit with hotel staff in various hotels in Europe... Fob travelers off into the worst spaces even when they have booked and paid for better... I wonder who they are saving their better rooms for?

From the Outside of the hotel looks very beautiful, And it’s just A 10 minute walk away from the fatima Basilica. The service is good, And the food is too. I loved that you can rent a bike From the reception, and that there is place to sit outside. But the hotel is a little bit old, so sometimes the card Doesn’t work from the first time to open the room Door, And the Elevator makes a weird sound that makes people scared To go up and down, But it’s actually Safe. Overall, I loved the hotel.

Great hotel, 10 min walk from the main basilica and 5 min away from the shops area full of devotional items from Fatima. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a group. The rooms are spacious with good heating (it was cold & damp outside) & great hot shower. We ate at the hotel and the choice both for breakfast and an evening was great. Staff was very friendly and polite. Liked everything about this place.

The personnel at the restaurant was rude. We made a mistake in chosing a table and they went and screamed at us for it.

Excellent hotel the best of my trips on Oct 23. To start with the hotel is just a minute from the bus station of Fatima which is an excellent choice if you are coming via Bus. The hotel is also a few minutes walking from the Basilica, overall it is centrally located. The best highlight was the breakfast, they have an entire continental spread of bacon sausage salami eggs how long it fresh juices hot chocolate and tea. The staff at reception were very nice and kind they gave us some extension also kept our luggage till our bus timings The room was very well cleaned and big The hot water and air conditioning was working very well. A refrigerator too was available. Overall excellent stay do recommend.

Beautiful hotel and great value. Rooms are clean and tidy. Concierges are friendly and helpful (can help you book taxis for day trips at reasonable cost). Breakfast buffet is included and the food/selection is incredible. Hotel is right across from the bus station and extremely convenient. 7-8 minute walk to the sanctuary.
Keith L — Google review
We stayed in a very weird room for three people. I get that the whole hospitality business is for religious people who come to the village for specific purposes but still not everyone there for the same reason and it gets overwhelming when you walk into a hotel room with religious pictures all over the walls like you are staying in a church for the night. The room was clean but the faucet in the bathroom was broken

Great value, Friendly staff. Convenient parking. We loved our stay here.

We stayed one night at this hotel. To start with, check in was not welcoming - we arrived one hour early but none of the bars were open and we were not allowed to use the swimming pool. After complaining about that standard of service not being in line with a 4 star hotel, we were allowed to check in and to use the swimming pool. The room was ok (more of a 3 star standard though) but the shower was blocked so we had to go to reception (phone on the room was not working). Parking is conveniently located just underground but some 10 spaces are occupied with mattresses (!) which in my opinion is s fire hazard. Breakfast is as bland as it can be. Location is very close to Fatima sanctuary so if that is important to you, you may want to compromise on all other things but don't expect a great experience here.
Dulce M — Google review
We had a lovely two-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for a family stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a great bonus, although it lacked utensils. The rooms were very spacious, with plenty of closets, a comfortable sofa, and a table. We also appreciated the several bottles of water provided — a thoughtful touch. The beds weren't comfortable though 🙁
Lilia S — Google review
Nice hotel that can be improved by paying attention to the details. The duvets on the beds had no covers on them, just a sheet, so the duvet was exposed. This feels very unhygienic, I've never seen this before in a hotel. Stains were visable on some of them. It would've been nice to have cups supplied in the bathroom, too. Also, with the pool, it would be nice to have somewhere in the room to dry swim wear. One more annoyance was when walking from the bus station, it was hard to see where the entrance was. There was a door with all the hotel signs, between shops, we walked towards that was locked. The breakfast felt a little chaotic and the eggs and bacon were in broken heaters. I didn't get eggs or bacon because it was hardly replaced. The staff were very helpful though, and very polite.

(Translated by Google) The hotel is modest but well located, close to the sanctuary. The food is good, served by the waitresses, but there's little variety. The first courses are always salads or soups. The breakfast is buffet-style, but also limited in variety. The bathroom, despite being spacious and clean, is not suitable for elderly guests because the bathtub is too high and lacks handles. The rooms are spacious, but have few electrical outlets. To charge your phone, you have to unplug the bedside lamps, and there's no refrigerator. I'd like to highlight the excellent service and friendliness of the reception staff and waitresses.

Courteous and friendly staff. Well kept rooms and bathrooms with fresh clean towels, etc., delivered daily. Most rooms have a balcony with a view. Convenient location. Free WiFi and computer service. Breakfast included in room price but not much is available for the vegan palate. I would in future avoid the attic addition to this hotel as there is no elevator service to that floor, the only window is a skylight, noise from other rooms and hallways is disturbing, and standing tall in some areas of the attic rooms is impossible. It was peak season during our stay. It was our first time at the Cova da Iria Hotel and got bumped to the attic to accommodate yearly repeat group clients. We were forewarned by management that this could happen, and were shown the attic room but we took our chances, hoping that it would not be necessary to move. It was necessary on the final night there. I didn't like the experience.

Kind staff, very polite and lovely. They assist you always with a smile at their faces. The owners make the example. Breakfast with good variety and tasteful. Very comfortable place, rooms spacious and clean. Excellent location: near to McDonald's and Santuário de Fátima (if you don't walk a while through a little city). Free car parking for hosts.

Perfect place to visit the sanctuary, you couldn't be closer! The service was perfect, two ladies with friendly smiles and great kindness! I just put 4 stars for the Breakfast options that are not huge but I want to add that it was only my opinion and didn't change the kindness of the lady in the breakfast area. The room were perfectly clean (beds , bathroom, shower etc) The doors are to be opened with a key not a card and the feeling of old fashioned rooms were a bonus in my opinion! Tired of these cold rooms in hotel now. I felt like home. Rooms are a bit little if you are with children but we just stayed an evening and night and it was perfect. One of the beds matress was creaky maybe because of the covering but once in bed it's ok and for 68€ I accepted that. The second bed wasn't noisy at all. It doesn't change the experience. I am used to more upscale hotels and you can't get luxury for that price. Still, I like it very much. I came to pray to Fatima and it was perfect

We stayed here as part of a tour and therefore didn't choose the hotel. Felt the hotel and rooms were dated. We found a silver fish in the bathroom. No shampoo or shower gel provided. The hairdryer seemed very old. Breakfast was a basic continental.

If you want a room with a strange musty smell, creaky uncomfortable bed which you get no sleep on along with the road noise but is right next to the religious stuff this is the place for you. Also you get to know all about the other people staying at the hotel as you can hear every single word/noise through the paper thin walls.
Ron J — Google review
Very convenient for visiting the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima. Very clean and up to date rooms. However no fridge or coffee maker in the room. No bottles of soap or shampoo - just a one-time use sachet. The shower switches from hot to cold because of the tube leading to the shower head pulling on it

Hotel
Steyler Fatima Hotel, Congress & Spa is a laid-back hotel located in the heart of Fatima, just minutes away from popular attractions like Lucia's House Museum and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. The four-star hotel offers spacious modern rooms with terraces, a Portuguese restaurant, and even a kids club. Guests can enjoy amenities such as complimentary parking, allergy-free rooms, and a chapel for praying.
I stayed at Steyler Fátima Hotel, Congress & Spa for 2 nights last week as part of a tour group. At first, I wasn’t too impressed with the hotel’s appearance, especially the low ceiling in the check-in lobby. However, our tour leader recommended this place highly—and now I understand why! The hotel room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped—better than many 3-4 star hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The location is also a big plus: just a short, safe walk to the Sanctuary of Fátima and close to souvenir shops and restaurants. What impressed me the most was the buffet! Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and offered a great variety—around 8 main dishes per meal, with soup, a full salad bar, plenty of desserts, and fresh fruit. Each table also had a bottle of red or white wine, which was a lovely touch for dinner. Despite accommodating many tour groups, the hotel staff were very organized and everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel for both tourists and travel agencies looking for a reliable place to stay in Fátima.

Unfortunately I cannot this this hotel any more than 1 star. They were doing major renovation work and from 7.45am until 6pm the sound of numatic drilling and hammering was so loud we could not stay in our room. We could not hear the tv or anyone we rang. Our family were horrified at the sounds coming through the phone. As a result of the works our room had no heat. We complained to reception who said they could not do anything for the first 2 nights of our stay. They did provide a small heater. As we were only there for 4 nights we did not change rooms but just stayed out of the room. No guest should have been given that room. The food was not good so we ate in restaurants. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Elizabeth W — Google review
The standout feature of this hotel is its prime location, just a short distance from the Shrine of the Virgin. The hotel’s style gives off a nostalgic 70s vibe, reminiscent of a 4-star hotel from that era. The rooms are spacious, though my bed had a spring mattress, which left my spine sore the next morning. As for the dining options, the lunch buffet was advertised as varied, but it mostly consisted of rice, potatoes, and fish with limited choices. I did notice a separate dining room offering a wider selection, which might be linked to the price of the stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and there is a convenient souvenir shop next to the lobby that offers discounts to hotel guests. However, we arrived at around 13:30, and our rooms were not ready yet, which was a bit inconvenient.
David M — Google review

This hotel is very close to the Cathedral. I had no trouble returning from the night celebration. A small plaza is in front of the hotel. It's close to many gift shops, a pharmacy, and a clinic. The room was nice and the breakfast was great, too.

The Hotel rooms were old, but comfortable. The service was good and the location was good. The food was nice, but it wasn't too warm. The staff were friendly.
Colm H — Google review
It was within walking distance to everywhere. Shrine, restaurants, shops. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Rooms were nice, a bit on smallish scale but acceptable. The parking area for the car we rented was small but our vehicle was safe.
THERESA E — Google review
We stayed for 1 night. We had a double room, which I can’t fault. It was lovely, super clean and an excellent shower. Comfy bed. The pool and play room is exactly as you see on the photos, it’s excellent from that perspective. Smaller details: they provided a robe that fits my 3 year old which was SUPER cute!! However my partner went for the buffet dinner downstairs in the evening and he said there was no variety and the chicken was very greasy. He wasn’t happy considering the price of €15. There was a musty smell throughout the hotel that I didn’t like. The breakfast was good. Pretty standard, the best was the coffee in the machine, I really liked that. There was a young lad working at the breakfast and he was super attentive and helpful.

A great hotel. Was truly a great place to stay with the family. The staff here were very sweet and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Wouldn't give it a 4 start rating myself

What Else Guest House offers comfortable and well-heated rooms with city views. The check-in process is convenient, as it only requires entering numbers into a keypad. While there are no elevators and some guests noted issues with water leakage from the bathroom, the overall experience was positive. Guests found the rooms to be nice for the price, with comfortable beds and good cleanliness. Despite being within walking distance to the sanctuary, having a car might be more convenient due to limited public transportation in Fatima.
If your reason is to just have a room that's close enough to walk to the center of town then this place is great! I stayed with my mom and didn't have any issues. Great location, loved how it's also close to nature and quiet and would definitely come and stay here again if I ever visit Fatima again.
David G — Google review
I gave 5 star for Rooms because the room I checked in is just right for the price. 5 star for Service because the staff are friendly and helpful, though there is a language difference but it's not a problem at all as they are doing their best to help guests with their needs. Location is also 5 star for me because I prefer a quiet and peaceful place. Even during the day you cannot hear noises from the neighbors or at the streets, only cars but on a very rare occassion. It is 11minutes walk to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima and it was easier for me to go to the Sanctuary during the day and returned to the guest house in the afternoon to have a rest and gone back to the Sanctuary at night to attend the Holy Rosary and procession of the Blessed Mother where I witnessed a crowd of people with candles (see photos attached).

I dont understand the bad rating of this guest house. Apart from the walking distance to the sanctuary, the room is nice for the price! They give us towels, the bed was comfortable as well. Definitely would come back again, but probably with car because it takes around 20-25 minutes by walk to the omnibus station (note: there is not any public bus transportation in fatima).
Wi J — Google review
I have no idea, why rating is so low. The place is very nice, our room was just as on the photos. Probably they used to have some issues, but they obviously fixed it. Comfortable bed, everything is clear, good night sleep for a very low price. I see no reason whe you shouldn't stay here
Олена Б — Google review
For the prices provided, it is a great place to be. It is located a bit far from the Sanctuary but is at a walkable distance. The rooms are good and you do have a kitchen and services for having a good time with friends there.
Ajai A — Google review
We only stayed one night, but I would stay here again if I were ever back in Fatima. I like the check in experience where we just type numbers into a keypad and don’t have to talk to anyone. 😂 if you are more into interacting with people at checkin, you might prefer a different place. Also, there are a lot of stairs and no elevator that I noticed, so that might be a problem for some people as well. Overall though, we had a great experience here!

This Accommodation was not very descriptive in that it is right on top of a hill. Two cleaners are left to assist guests . No management on property. Kitchen hardly able to breathe with plumbing problems and mildew. Cleaners extremely friendly and helpful. Should be renovated. The bathroom one has to leave the door open in order to use toilet its right in front of door. The shower was blocked and the owners give the impression of poor management the basin is between the toilet in front of door and the shower was almost the size of the width of the wall to wall leaving no space to stand one has to walk sideways. Cant use mirror in bathroom have tonstand sideways. The owner Irene extremely friendly. The room we were given was spacious but all other rooms very small. Apart from mildew which gave me a sore throat and extremely small bathroom the steep hill back and forth to Sanctuary. I would like to say it was average. If one does not have transport I do not suggest this accommodation. I hope the renovation begins soon and the owners actual plan it better. No mirrors at least one in each floor level would help. The only mirror there is is hidden in a dark corner. Budget does not mean neglect. Thank you pls do see this as positive and helpful. The guests are left to do as they pls and quiet and silence was not the case for us. Thank you though foe accommodation and response which was quick.

*DO NOT GET THE BREAKFAST* Good budget hotel in an excellent location. Simple rooms, not all have AC. We were a group of 12 in 4 rooms, and to keep things simple WE decided to have breakfast there. The breakfast is very basic: one roll, one croissant, one slice of cheese and one of ham each. Juice, coffee and milk. There was no fruit or cereal, and if you want more of anything (I did not want a croissant but asked for an extra roll) they will say there isn’t any. The worst thing though, is that they do not allow you to sit at a table with someone from another room, which does not work if you are in a group. Early risers would go for breakfast before their room mates, and be forced to sit by themselves even if others of the group were there. And on top, they bring the breakfast for all from the room, so the milk will go cold and the other bits will be left on the table if you decide to leave. Overall it ia a good budget option, but a shame they are so mean with their breakfast offer and system. At 7 Euros a head I expected to have a better choice and quantity. Maybe not a big problem for a couple (who like only bread and coffee) but for a group, a terrible system. I felt I had to give 3 stars overall because the location is perfect for the sanctuary, shops and restaurants.

It was a good place for having the fatima church nearby. There are also a couple shops nearby. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR BREAKFAST!!!! It was horrible with very little options and the charged us 40 euros because of an extra egg!! You can get really good food for cheap around the corner and the food at the hotel is a scam. Overall, it was a decent place if you want a enjoyable time in Fatima, Portugal.

(Translated by Google) On the first day we stayed in a room downstairs, I hated it, because both the room and the bathroom had no windows, there was a musty and sewage smell, because of humanity! After complaining, they gave us a completely different room, this one was spacious, with windows and very clean!

(Translated by Google) Very good facilities. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom: very welcoming and functional rooms; spacious and beautiful living room, with a view of the well-appointed exterior and swimming pool. In this exterior, there are several places for relaxation and comfort. The staff, however, could be a little less rigid and grumpy. Quite a lack of empathy.
