Hotel Praia is a laid-back hotel located in the heart of Nazare, offering a convenient location for those looking to enjoy the nearby beach. The hotel features amenities such as high-speed internet, safe-deposit boxes, and cots. Guests can take advantage of facilities like air-conditioned rooms, luggage storage, and meeting rooms. The hotel also offers services including dry cleaning and laundry.
Excellent location in Nazaré. Not on the beach, but very close to it. The underground parking garage is a huge plus! One of the deciding factors for our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the city and a partial view of the ocean. The balcony with two chairs and a table was much appreciated. Excellent breakfast! Lots of different types of food, from pastries and bread to fruits and deli, with some cooked items as well (scrambled eggs and bacon).

Centrally located hotel in the city centre of Nazare. Very close to the beach. Four stars were given for very cold water in the swimming pool, book the room to have this facility in Feb in Portugal. Rooms: Spacious, recently refurbished, bath and shower, but the balcony door could be replaced as all sounds were coming to the room, especially ringing at the taxis stand on the street. Pool: Small on the roof top, but with the very cold water. A little bit of disappointment. Food: Decent selection at breakfast with very tasty fruit selection, pastry, bread, and decent gluten free selection. Two different coffee machines which serves decent coffees. Location: very city centre. Car parking: located under the hotel, charge 7 euro per night of your stay, but then you don't have worry to park on the street. Please note that the parking is very tight to manoeuvre inside. You can see the scars on the pictures from whom didn't manage. We drove a SUV and was tight but manageable.

Very nice big room (we selected a suite with an extra bed for our teenage son). Hotel breakfast was excellent. Some concerns about cleanliness of the room on our arrival, but quickly addressed. Very close to the beach and all the excitement. We were able to close our windows at night and use air conditioning to block out noise. Overall an excellent stay.

Overall, happy with Hotel Praia. The room served its purpose, and was clean. Parking did cost money and the parkade was very tight with limited parking. This was somewhat disappointing. Location was good and central. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic with huge, delicious, variety. We did not check out the pool when we were there. It would be nice if parking were included to add to the value of the room rate and given that parking is somewhat limited in the parkade.
Kaitlin R — Google review
Loved the room, the blankets were soft and the bright white was inviting yet cozy. So close the beach and sight seeing opportunities! Staff was very helpful and friendly! Free breakfast was full of options including a large variety of fresh fruit which was a surprise! Would stay again!
Teresa W — Google review
First time staying at this hotel and it was awesome. The location is central so nothing is more than a walk away. It is minutes from the beach or if you want to chill just head up to its sun terrace. The staff were great, room was spotless and cleaned with fresh sheets everyday. Really nice breakfast as well. Will stay here again.
Ben F — Google review
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed here for 1 night with my husband during our honeymoon back in April. When we pulled the sheets back to finally go to sleep, there were blood stains on them. It was very late at night so there was only the overnight man at the front desk. After he came to our room, he saw for himself the issue and then at that point he finally agreed to switch our room. Due to this, we did not get a good night of sleep and this night of our honeymoon was very unenjoyable. We also felt gross as we were resting on top of the bed/had our belongings on the bed not knowing the blood stained sheets underneath the comforter. I spoke with the people at the front desk the next morning, letting them know we were incredibly disappointed and could they please do something to help us as it was a special occasion. I did not even ask for a full refund but I requested some type of partial refund given the situation with the blood stained sheets and then having to move to another room in the middle of the night. My travel agent followed up with the hotel on my behalf and they seemed not willing to work with her for some type of compensation. Eventually, the hotel staff completely stopped replying to her and nothing was ever done. This was disappointing as upon check out I was assured that they would speak to the manager to find us a solution.

AMAZING family vacation in Nazare made without much planning and finding this hotel was the big reason why. We showed up without reservation and was quickly greeted with amazing hospitality and receptionist found us room for 2 night stay. The room super clean and the free breakfast in the morning was spectacular. The service also was amazing in the breakfast area. Kids loved the pool in the 5th floor. One block away from the beach and from all the great restaurants. NAZARE is amazing. Beach was magnificent and ofcourse seeing the famous lighthouse made for some amazing pictures. If you ever plan trip to Nazare, don't hesitate to book this hotel. Was amazing. Muito obrigado

Nestled in the charming streets of Nazare, Quinta Amarela is a delightful guesthouse that offers a serene escape just moments from the beach. This cozy retreat features beautifully decorated interiors with wooden accents and Bohemian touches, perfectly embodying the laid-back coastal vibe of Nazare. Guests can enjoy stunning views from the rooftop terrace or unwind in the lush garden while taking advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi and shared amenities like a kitchen and lounge area.
My stay at Quinta Amarela in Nazaré was nothing short of perfect! This guesthouse is a true gem, offering a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly quiet it is. Nestled in a peaceful area, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cleanliness of the guesthouse is impeccable—every corner is spotless, which made our stay even more comfortable and pleasant. One of the highlights of our visit was the breakfast. It was absolutely incredible! Fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options to choose from. Each morning felt like a special occasion with such a wonderful start to the day. Despite its peaceful location, Quinta Amarela is conveniently close to the village parade, just a quick 5-minute drive away. We enjoyed being able to easily access the vibrant town center with its charming shops and restaurants, and then retreat back to our serene guesthouse. If you're looking for a place that combines tranquility, cleanliness, and exceptional service, Quinta Amarela is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Our stay was simply amazing. Contact with host Sara was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and rooms are cosy. Due to availability we were able to do a late check out because we had a late flight.

Very nice place. Quinta Amarela is a beautiful and house with nice Garden, equipped kitchen and great atmosphere. I really love the place and Nazare is very nice Town to visit and walk around.

Not very close to the town and located on a noisy road. Limited parking and if you arrive late you need to park on a very busy street. Breakfast is bread with some jam. That's it! You need to pay for the coffee.

Lovely spacious and clean villa with big lounge and dining area, not too far from the town and all the facilities. Also a Lidl less than 10mins drive too.

Hotel Mar Bravo in Nazare is a top choice for travelers seeking modern accommodations and stunning ocean views. The hotel boasts well-appointed rooms with amenities like air conditioning, refrigerator, and private bathrooms. Guests can savor delicious seafood at the on-site restaurant while enjoying panoramic views of the ocean. Its convenient location near Nazare Beach and the Farol da Nazare viewing point makes it an ideal base for exploring the area's attractions.
We just had the best stay at Hotel Mar Bravo. We are a family of five with older teenagers, and we all loved the location which was the best in Nazare. We found the whole staff here very warm and welcoming. Our rooms all could see the ocean, and were spotless with lovely beds and linen. Breakfast was great, and on our final morning with a very early departure they even got up and packed us a breakfast which was so kind. It’s a lovely more boutique feeling hotel and we would highly recommend staying here!!
Claire S — Google review
The hotel is centrally located, at the corner of two very busy streets, walking distance to just about anywhere within Nazare. There were restaurants and a late night bar in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly. You can park your car in front of the hotel to off/upload then you have to move it to the garage. The front desk receptionist will provide you with instructions and a gate opener. The breakfast was average, it’s best to go early, to access the full selection. All in all it’s a laid back beach place, anyone can enter and leave freely. I didn’t like our small room and outdated bathroom but the beach view was lovely. For a last minute reservation in a sold out town, I was happy.

We had dinner at the restaurant. My wife and I shared the cataplana of fish, large prawns, clam and mussels cooked in a potato and onion broth. It was delicious and fresh. It could have easily fed another person (and I have a massive appetite). Staff were friendly and attentive. Also they are dog friendly and they gave our little Westie a bowl of water. Highly recommended 👍
Wes S — Google review
We joined a day tour, and our guide took us to Mar Bravo for lunch. We ordered three dishes to share: first was the Creme Marisco, which had the same broth as the Arroz de Marisco we ordered later. Next up was the Arroz de Marisco seafood rice, loaded with half a lobster, crab legs, shrimp, clams, and mussels, all cooked in a shrimp broth. We also had the Cataplana seafood stew, featuring fish, large shrimp, mussels, clams, potatoes, and onions, stewed in a tomato broth and garnished with herbs. Both main dishes were quite generous—definitely enough for two or more people—and the ingredients were fresh. We also got a basket of bread, which paired nicely with the broth for dipping. The service was alright, but since it was a busy Sunday, the staff seemed pretty stretched, so don’t expect overly attentive care. At checkout, they asked if we’d like to leave a tip, which you can decide on your own. Overall, it was a nice seafood meal, worth a try if you’re nearby.

Room was nicely presented. Great view of the beach from the room balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good.
Geoff R — Google review
The couch in the lobby was stained (bad sign), the hallway had a musty smell, and our room had a very bad mildew smell. We had to sleep with the window open, even though it was a windy, stormy night. We had reserved two nights, but left after one because the mildew smell was so bad and we saw mold along the floorboards in our room. They would not refund the second night, even though we showed them photos of the mold. Breakfast was mediocre. The location is excellent, but I would not stay here again. Not recommended.
Julia B — Google review
We were in this restaurant company 15.08.25, really wanted to eat and found this restaurant. I ordered a dish of tuna - absolutely not tasty, remade as a slipper. The staff forgot twice for ordering drinks, we waited 15-20 minutes for drinks - drinks! Also, after paying the check we saw that we were counted and paid for 1 salad more, although no one ordered from our company of 4 people, more than one dish. The same dish was counted twice. In the end - on 36€ paid more, the staff forgets about your order and constantly made inappropriate jokes, the food is prepared terribly, the other guys had more less, but none of us were satisfied even at 4 stars. I don’t recommend going to this place !

Nestled in a pine forest, Ohai Nazare Outdoor Resorts offers informal cottages and chalets along with an outdoor pool, gym, and dining options. The family-friendly holiday park is conveniently located near the beach and various attractions. Guests can enjoy a complimentary water park, outdoor tennis courts, fitness center, arcade/game room, and free Wi-Fi access. The on-site restaurant with a bar/lounge provides dining options for visitors.
Ohai is a wonderful “glamping” resort with different types of residences - there are enclosed bungalows, high-end tents, and open campgrounds. What makes the place special are all the wonderful amenities. Pool areas, water slides, buffets, adult and kids activities, gym, obstacle course, paddle ball courts, and tons of trees and walking paths make it the perfect destination for families that want to relax and have a good time. Highly recommend!

One the best service I’ve ever had. The receptionists always remember us and they are so kind and so nice that I really want to go back every year. The only downside it’s the restaurant, the food it’s not good but if you cook yourself, you will have a great time there with the best service. Thank you again for such kind hospitality 🙏🏽.
Ruben O — Google review
Fantastic place to stay with your kids. Everything is easy, great pools, food is good and the vibe is very relaxed and ultra family friendly. An improvement I would suggest, please have higher quality meat for the buffet. (The food is tasty but the protein options aren't great.) Everything else is PERFECT! Thank you for a brilliant stay, we loved it ❤️❤️❤️
Mike K — Google review
Overall, we liked the location and the resort itself. However, some serious drawbacks affected our stay. We were given a tent located closest to the road, and the noise in the evening was unbearable—it truly felt as if the cars were driving right through the tent. It was impossible to fall asleep until late at night. Something definitely needs to be done for the first-line tents, such as installing sound barriers; otherwise, the experience turns into pure discomfort. Secondly, for a tent priced at €230 per night, it was surprising and disappointing to find a coffee machine without any complimentary capsules. Having to purchase them separately at the bar felt odd and discouraging. For that price, the absence of a simple cup of coffee left us quite disappointed. I would also like to note that the density of the layout, with bungalows and tents positioned so close to one another, felt excessive. As a result, within a relatively small area, it seemed overcrowded, and the sense of privacy was completely lacking.
Oleksii L — Google review
I stayed at Ohai Nazaré Outdoor Resort and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The first impression when I arrived was already great thanks to the warm welcome from the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. At first, I was given a room that unfortunately had some issues – it felt a bit damp and musty, with a touch of mold. Naturally, I was worried this would affect my stay. However, the way the staff handled the situation completely changed everything. As soon as I mentioned the problem, they reacted immediately with professionalism and kindness. They moved me quickly to another accommodation, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and did it all with a genuine smile. That level of service turned what could have been a disappointment into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The new room was clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Throughout my stay I noticed how well-maintained the resort is – everything from the rooms to the pools and shared areas was spotless. The cleanliness really stands out and creates a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. What I also loved was the sense of community. It’s very easy to meet new people here – sharing little moments, laughter, and conversations with other guests gave the whole experience a very personal and heartwarming touch. It felt less like a typical resort and more like being welcomed into a group of friends. The outdoor environment is beautiful, surrounded by nature and designed in a way that makes it easy to relax, recharge, and enjoy both quiet time and fun activities. Whether by the pool, walking around the grounds, or simply sitting outside breathing in the fresh air, every moment felt special. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay at Ohai Resort. Despite the small setback at the beginning, the excellent service and hospitality of the staff made all the difference. Their quick response, combined with the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, left me very happy and grateful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nazaré.
Alon S — Google review
Besides all good things that have been mentioned, there are few things that made me dislike my experience. I didn't like that the cars are circulating all over the place. I didn't feel secure with my kids, every minute you should watch out if there is no car driving into your kid. Also the hotel is highly overpriced
Daria A — Google review
Wow! All it's like the promo pictures/website. Fantastic service and the animation guy for the kids it's amazing!! We really enjoyed our time here. One of the best hotels for kids that I have visited.
Isaac F — Google review
The worst place to stay!!! One star just for the atmosphere - for our family it is not common to stay in bungalows - and they were clean. 1. The breakfast is terrible! No vegetables at all! Families, kids… no tomatoes or cucumbers at least! 2. The bikes rent! In all camp they have only 4 bikes to rent! And are dirty and technically not safe to drive! Tires were empty. The brakes were not working. After 200 m the bicycle chain broke. The worst thing was that when we said to the place that we are in trouble and the bike needs service they said they can”t help us! Bring the bike back and then they will fix it. How to bring the bike uphills when it is not working?!

We had family trip with 3 People. We had big hotelroom, with double bed and single bed in first floor. Big terrace. You need a car to go to center for dinner. Or you walk 40 minutes. Nice pool and nice breakfast.

Not good at all. The room was old , the ceiling light broken, walls were damped . Peter was the reception guy when we checked in and he was rude , arrogante and not cool at all. The only good thing was the view. That was spectacular. You need ace to go to town, it’s like 10/15 minutes, there was free parking at the hotel, breakfast was very disappointing , the mattress was super hard.

Absolutely Appalling Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs Hello everyone, I’ve just had what I can only describe as the worst hotel experience of my life at Hotel Marimar. Upon arrival, we were informed that there were no rooms available — despite our booking — and were directed by the receptionist to their “sister hotel,” Marimar Sul, supposedly of the same quality and only a 3-minute drive away. We followed her recommendation, which turned out to be a huge mistake. Upon arrival at Marimar Sul, we were greeted by a so-called “handsome” receptionist in a tired, outdated lobby. We asked to view the available rooms — especially those with a sea view — before committing to payment, a standard and reasonable request. Shockingly, the receptionist refused to show any room unless we paid in advance. Despite the red flags, I selected their presidential suite, which was theoretically the best they had to offer. What we saw was disgusting: the room smelled like old, sweaty socks, the furniture was worn out, stained, and filthy, and the entire space felt neglected and unhygienic. We immediately decided to leave. I asked for an immediate refund, but the receptionist claimed he couldn’t process it and told us to send an email and wait for a reply “maybe” tomorrow. I requested written confirmation of this conversation for my records — he flat-out refused. When I demanded to speak with the manager, he ignored me completely. No explanation, no apology. Just silence and disregard. Eventually, after insisting and escalating the situation, he handed me the cash refund with a smirk and the words: “Thank you and never come back.” That sentence alone sums up the attitude of this hotel toward their guests — rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. To the HR Manager of this establishment: if you care at all about your hotel’s reputation, I urge you to seriously reconsider the training and attitude of your staff. This experience was not only disappointing, it was disgraceful. To fellow travelers: think twice — there are far better options in the area. Don’t waste your time, money, or energy here.
Anton U — Google review
For a 4-star hotel, this place didn’t meet expectations. The location is good, and sea view rooms offer a nice view. The indoor pool is uncomfortably warm with poor ventilation, while the outdoor pool is nice but very crowded, especially with kids. The room had weak AC, no ventilation in the bathroom, and poor Wi-Fi. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but it’s not up to 4-star standards.
Hamed R — Google review
We stayed at Hotel Miramar Sul for two nights, from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully located, with breathtaking views of the ocean and Nazaré’s iconic beaches. The early check-in was a pleasant surprise and gave us more time to enjoy the stay. The property is well-maintained, very clean, organized, and guest-friendly. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday, with a generous variety of fresh options. The staff was kind and even offered us towels in case we wanted to use the pool. The only downside was the noise in the mornings. Our room was located on the main floor, and we could clearly hear people talking loudly in the hallway, which made it hard to sleep in. Next time, I would definitely request a quieter room on an upper floor. Other than that, the stay was smooth and enjoyable. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend with stunning coastal views.

The Breakfast was great (cant fault it) The Dinner was excellent Bar was nice and drinks were great. the indoor pool area could use some tidying BUT we went out of season so maybe this would be better kept in season. Hotel rooms (we had a ground floor suite) were ample and clean, access. Overall a very relaxing experience and a place i will be visiting again and again no doubt. superb!

The hotel provides various amenities such as babysitting services, air-conditioned rooms, and private toilets. A wonderful experience staying at the Miramar Hotel. The staff at the reception, Ms. Maria & Mr. Pedro  in the restaurant, Mrs. Rosalia, and at breakfast, Mrs. Helia  - the smiling, professional approach, the patience, the high awareness of service - all of these make the difference between very good and excellent! The hotel is well-kept and very clean. The spa facilities - clean and well-maintained. The room is fully equipped. The bed is comfortable and very clean! The view from the balcony adds to the wonderful experience, as does dinner in the beautiful restaurant overlooking the city and the sea. And to you, the owners of the hotel - congratulations on your service charter and attention to the smallest details. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a worthy experience. Highly recommend!

Lets start from good things - rooms are rather cleaned pretty decently everyday. Towels changed also everyday. Service at reception is nice. View is great - to the sea side. But rooms are very very used, rather poorly furnitured, from the 1 floor up no balcony also rather small. I didn't care but in some bathrooms were ants. Breafast is very simple, no vagetables, 1 kind of yellow cheese, 1 kind of white cheese, bread, eggs, sausages/bacon + cakes & some fruits. Also the breakfast room is dark and stuffy. Outside pool is used as well, doesn't look very clean. Inside pool - too stuffy, muggy to be able to breath. No parking (in general it shouldn't be difficult to find place withhin 500 m away from hotel). I would say this is 3 star hotel and rate it also much higher if prices were adjusted to standard. And I case of party on the beach - it is very loud in the room (although is is pretty far away). I spent here 7 nights.

4 star hotel? more like 2 1/2 star😁 Everything in need of a lot of updates and refurbishments. Hotel have beautiful water view. Be prepare to look for difficult parking around neighborhood. Outdoor pool is not bad, indoor pool and spa are very hot and chlorine smell is overwhelming. I can not recommend this hotel until upgrades are completed.

I was at this hotel for 5 days as I make my way across the West Coast of Portugal. The room was nice but not exceptional. The location and view from my room was great. It looked over the town below as this hotel is at the top of a large hill. My only real problem was with the Service. When I first arrived they informed me that there were no Spa Services, which was surprising to me since the hotel is called The Miramar Hotel and Spa. The other big negative was I have had my laundry done from the hotels that I stay at and this was my 4th. I had 3 pairs of sweatpants and 4 t-shirts laundered and they had the nerve to charge me 100€. I could have thrown those clothes away and purchased new ones for less money. Outrageous! If you plan on staying here, I suggest that you have your laundry done in town or wait until you get home.

This is a great place to have lunch. The food was great. Kind staff. Good wines. Great view.
Frank O — Google review
Set above the town, this is a beautiful place for a hotel. The good: the facilities are beautiful and the grounds are well kept. The indoor pool, sauna, and outdoor pool are beautiful. They are clean and perfect in every aspect. Note, you'll need a bathing cap. So bring one or pay up 3€ at the reception. The breakfast is delicious. The only fault was canned or bottled what seemed like sweetened "orange juice." Warm eggs and some meats were available and there was even a gluten free section. All sorts of dairy milk alternatives were provided. It was a good breakfast 🥞 experience. In the room, the mini split provided a comfortable climate. Needs improvement: One of the towels in our room looked like someone wiped oil off their hands after changing their cars oil. Stained really bad. I had to hunt for outlets to charge and then contort to plug in my charger under the desk. The common area rugs need replacement. The rooms are dated, but clean. Fighting moisture is clearly an ongoing war as it is in all coastal humid areas. Replace the cotton candy red soap in the common areas with something that doesn't leave one's hands smelling like a gas station bathroom. So, I would give the pool and spa a 5 and the hotel a 3.

Nice hotel, receptionist was very kind during check-in and check-out. Especially professional and pleasant was the restaurant's manager Luis, who helped us to choose a quality Portuguese wine. Thank you, Luis. Highly recommend.

(Translated by Google) We ordered a set of pastries, but there were several mistakes in the order, and the wait was quite long (even though the pastries were already ready, clearly visible behind the window) :( Half the pastries were good, but others were really dry, which was a shame. Another minor drawback: the sales associates don't speak a word of English or French. Hotel Maré in Nazare is a laid-back property offering relaxed rooms with ocean views and a bar/lounge, plus breakfast. It provides WiFi, shower, and private toilet facilities with easy access to the sea and Nazare Beach. The hotel also offers amenities such as safe-deposit box, parking, luggage storage, tour support service, and room service. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a mini bar and dining options at the on-site bar and lounge.
The staff is friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, with quick access to the main tourist spots and the beach, just a minute's walk away. The rooms are straightforward without a specific theme, but they are clean and well-maintained. Given the close proximity to nightlife, sounds from nearby bars and restaurants can carry into the room until the early morning, but as a NYC native, I'm quite accustomed to it.
Cooked C — Google review
Outstanding from start to finish The nicest staff I've met and what a spot and view good value which is hard to find in this town in season. Worth a look.
Oli N — Google review
Great location for a considerable price with awful breakfast. The core upside of the hotel is its location. Close to the beach, close to the cable car and most of the restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious, we got the room with a balcony with a sea view even though we didn’t specifically ask for it, which was nice. With that being said it’s ridiculously loud from the street - constant noise of cars, motorcycles and party music - closing the windows numbs the sounds but doesn’t cut them off completely, so you might consider getting a rear street room if you want to have your windows open. The inside noises are not better, it seems like the room door and walls are paper thin you can hear everything that happens in the corridor and in rooms next door - especially when someone is having a shower, the flow of water is so loud that it literally wakes you up in the morning. The staff is really nice and helpful. The biggest downside was breakfast. It was so skimp that I didn’t look forward to it at all. Only warm dish was overcooked scrambled eggs and toast. There were only two types of sliced ham to choose from with little bones in it which could crack your tooth. Bread seemed stale, there were literally no vegetables of any kind and bitter and dry fruit. A huge letdown.
Bartłomiej — Google review
We stayed here super spontaneously with a family of 5; the other room was perfect for us, we had a nice balcony, the beds were cozy, the bathroom modern and practical. The breakfast was decent, the view from the breakfast room was stunning. The staff was super friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Price value was amazing. Parking garage is quite far up the hill, so we parked in the streets and got lucky both nights with parking spots very closely to the hotel.
Bjoern F — Google review
small rooms no amenities (no fridge no iron or iron board etc.) and over priced. expensive for what you get. I would NOT recommend and will not be staying here in future.
Fernando P — Google review
First night in Portugal and ended up here. Location is perfect steps from the beach with view from balcony looking over the cliffs and waves. Room was perfect not too high, but high enough for the views. Breakfast buffet on top floor gave us a different view of the beach waves and marina. Yes parking was frustrating but located their underground safe parking lot a few blocks away with help from desk.
Brad D — Google review
Small beach hotel less than a 90 second walk to the beach and a very close to the funicular. Entire property is very clean with daily housekeeping. However rooms are very tiny and building has very poor soundproofing between the rooms. The hotel advertises free parking that is 800M away uphill. I easily found FREE parking a block away on the street.
Marty S — Google review
I had one of the worst experiences at a hotel. Unfortunately there is a bar in the same block and it's impossible to sleep until after 3am. The hotel gave me paracetamol and refunded my second night. The bed was also very bad, being slanted with the head down and feet up. Also very hard and springy. The pillows like thick blocks. It was clean though.

This hotel is almost perfect. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and functional. The service was as close to 5 stars as you will find anywhere in the world. The staff is so helpful, pleasant, and nice. My wife and I spent 1 night here but we regard this as our best (and least expensive) stay during our time in Portugal. An absolute must stay for anyone looking in Nazare. My only 4 star ranking is in location solely because 5 star would have been directly on the beach. That said please don’t think the location is “bad” by any means. It is a 2 minute walk from literally all major attractions, but not RIGHT on the beach. Do not less this deter you from staying here it is as small of an inconvenience as it can possibly be. Overall this is where we will stay any time we visit Nazare and we highly recommend this to anyone.

Title: Very Disappointing Stay – $1,000 in Electronics Stolen, No Accountability from Management Review: Our experience at Hotel Magic in Nazaré Portugal was extremely disappointing. During our stay, about $1,000 worth of electronics were stolen from our (another couple traveling with us) two rooms. When we reported it to the manager, David, we expected at least some concern or accountability. Instead, we were met with numerous excuses, blaming us for items stolen, not listening to our situation, and absolutely no apology or sense of responsibility for what had happened. It’s deeply unsettling to have personal belongings taken from what should be a secure hotel room, and even more frustrating when management shows no professionalism or empathy in handling the situation. While the property itself may appear nice, the lack of security and integrity from the staff completely overshadowed everything else. To have luggage and personal belongings rummaged through in our rooms where key cards were used to enter, is extremely disturbing. All our electronics were taken save two iPads (I assume because these can be tracked) and items (medical kit, cords, etc.) that were in luggage in one room were found inside the luggage of another room. I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to be very careful with valuables and to reconsider staying here until the management demonstrates better accountability and guest care. Hotel magic where your items magically disappear – stay away!!

Away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk to the waterfront. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy, and we felt secure and well taken care of. We had a great 2-nights stay at Villamar Style Maison. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony facing the pool. The location was top, 5-minute walk to Nazaré beach and very close to restaurants and bars. We had a private parking available at the cost of 5€ per day. Good variety of food for breakfast and tasty; very good coffee too! The pool was nice to cool down from the heat, but a bit noisy if many people are there.

A beautiful boutique hotel is well situated within walking distance of the coast line. The staff are always willing to help with directions and suggestions as to where to eat and sites of interest. Room was clean and well appointed and we especially loved the shower water pressure at the end of a long tiring day of touring. We would return to this hotel without question. Thanks to Vanesa who welcomed us upon our arrival... Cheers!

This is a very basic hotel. There is a lift however on the day that we checked out, it was not working. Unfortunately , there was also no one around for us to ask to help figure it out. The room was very small. It was tidy. There was no kettle facilities which I am not use to. The pool was definitely refreshing. We managed to get towels on the first day when we were there. Not on the second day when we had a swim. A short stroll to the beach. The breakfast is v basic. Parking is available on site for 5 euros a day.

Great stay. A friendly and service oriented owner and staff. A cozy 11 unit hotel with a nice pool. It’s not luxury but it’s a clean and comfortable hotel. Very nice breakfast. Not huge variety b/c it’s a small hotel but the quality is fine. Short walk to the main beach in Nazaré. About a 40 minute walk over to north beach and the big wave surf museum in the old fort. A short drive to north beach if you don’t want to walk the stairs. The funicular was not running in September 2025 but that’s another option when it’s operational. It’s a short walk to a self service laundry and to a grocery store. The hotel has a small bar — as well as an area to sit and eat food you bring from outside. The hotel has a small parking lot for guests and there is free street parking on the street. There are a number of nice towns worth visiting not far from Nazaré such as Alcobaca, Batalha and Obidos. If you go to Obidos, it’s best to go early or late when it’s not packed with buses and tourists. It’s a delightful village but it’s terribly over touristed during the warmer months.

This place is truly a slice of heaven on earth. Staying in a building that dates back to the 11th century is an unforgettable experience. The owner gave us an incredibly warm welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing stay. He even surprised us with a special gesture for our anniversary! I highly recommend booking a stay here if you're looking for a truly unique experience. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with options to make a sandwich and enjoy some yogurt.

Extraordinary place, felt like being a baron. The owners are very kind and share the history of the buildings with you. They are the 5th generation to inherit it, and they maintain it very well. You get the impression of living in a different century—it's absolutely magical. It's very clean and quiet, and they have a huge backyard where you can relax. Definitely coming back! Keep up the good work!

We stayed in one of the apartments last January for several days. We heated using the wood burning fireplace, it was extremely clean. It was definitely one of our most memorable places we stayed on our 12 week journey. The owner was the greatest. And we loved the dogs! I wish we could go back and stay there again!

A one of a kind accommodation. We stayed in one of the apartments which was quite large and well equipped. The place is centuries-old and run by Diogo, whose family has owned it for several generations. He is a very friendly and enthusiastic host. Continental breakfast served daily. Free secured parking within the gated compound. It’s in Valado dos Frades which is a small town about a 10 minute drive inland from Nazare. It was easy to explore Batalha and Alcobaca from here.
John G — Google review
Great historic place, but think is not been taken care of as it should. The owner lacks also some more polite customer service skills. We were not very happy with an episode where we were late to check in. The person came up being very rude on the phone. Additionally, the breakfast was announced online as until 11AM, but turned out it was until 10AM.

Great atmosphere, place full of history, authentic furniture, nice owner. Note that it's a 200y.o accommodation and some amenities are a bit old-ish. Our shower was licking so it was not the best night sleep. Better get earplugs :) Otherwise, recommend.
Valentyna S — Google review
Great location, which isn't far from the world famous surfing beach of Nazaré. This is an experience, not just a place to lay your head to rest! It was a real treat to stay at the Quinta Do Campo and meet Diogo and his cousin. Diogo was very welcoming and clearly took pride in his familial manor and the grounds, as well he should! It was such an enjoyable experience that it was easy to overlook and not deduct from the 5 star rating, the slightly less than optimal mattress. The library was extremely impressive. Diogo has books in there from every country in the world! The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and generous (especially given the amount we paid for the night). We would happily stay here again. As a matter of fact, this is one of several wedding venues we’re considering for our daughter’s wedding!

Reviewed: 10 February 2024 We certainly picked the best spot to stay in Nazare. 10 Liked · Parking in de neighborhood's streets wasn't a problem, although in summer this might be different. The office is across the street. If nobody is there, call the number posted and in just minutes you are checked in. Ana and Maria are wonderful hosts and try to fulfill your wishes as fast as they can. The place is wonderful situated, spacious and beautiful decorated. It is spotless clean. Prince couldn't do any better. The terrace is big, lot's of tables and chairs to enjoy the sun. The view is enormous with the harbor, lighthouse and escalator up to Sitio while enjoying the sound of the breaking waves. A bakery and the indoor market are nearby. There is a fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine and dishwasher. Even a BBQ. Disliked · We were wondering if there are umbrellas on the terrace in the summer? The sheet on the bed should be longer so it stays better tucked around the mattress.

Very friendly management and nice apartment at a good rate. If you book this and you arrive at the location on the map it isn't obvious what to do. Their management office is across the street from the backside of the building location on the map. The rooms were nice and had some adult themed artwork. There is a long shared patio that runs in the outside of the room with a great beach view. If the weather is right then it is a great place to be. There is also a shared kitchen for the floor which is nice. Having these shared spaces means that you're experience can differ based on which guest you have. Our experience wasn't bad fortunately.

I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it! The accommodation has spacious and comfortable rooms with a fully equipped kitchen, which was ideal for me as a self-caterer. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the inn was very cozy and welcoming. ❤️❤️❤️

I felt like home, already planning to go back! - Incredibly welcoming and nicest host family - So much cosy and cute big room - Spacious shared bathroom - Nice spacious fully equipped kitchen with coffee capsules and other stuff provided - Also great guests chill zone - Nice location, big Aldi and Lidl supermarkets nearby

This guesthouse is a real treasure! The owners are managing the guesthouse themselves and really make sure guests have a good time during their stay. I made the booking for the wrong week and arrived in the middle of the night. They managed to accommodate both and even gave me a free upgrade! The rooms are very spacious and we'll equipped (one can argue about the purple curtains ;)), there is plenty of parking options in front of the guesthouse. The house is a 5mins drive/ 25 walk from the center. Price/ value is 6 stars ;-)
Christian W — Google review
Good value for your money. Quiet place and every thing is clean. The hosts is very friendly and helpful. You can use the equipt kitchen and the big salon. The outside of the house and the street not look very attractive but it's not a problem.

Basic rooms budget and good location. View is best. Very small room.

Absolutely loved this location! It is perfectly located in the central area of the beach. The owners and staff were the most helpful of the entire stay. Arrived by train and the staff coordinated a taxi from the train station. The room was very nice and extremely clean. On the third floor we had a balcony that offered an excellent view of the square and the ocean. The balcony had an umbrella table and chairs for two that was perfect for enjoying wine and snacks. The room had wine glasses, wine bottle opener, utensils and plates perfect for use on the balcony. A wonderful stay at a wonderful family hotel.
Lewis W — Google review
Even though we arrived very late Carmen, an older but very lovely lady (probably the owners wife) gave us a warm welcome and some fresh apples from her garden as a started before we headed out for dinner. The hotel has about four rooms and four holiday apartments, most of them facing the ocean. Unfortunately our room was very small and hasn't been renovated in years - but it's been an adventure :)

The staff is known for being friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay for visitors.
We stayed in Nazaré for 3 nights in February. The place is in the old part, just one block from the beach and the city market. The staff was very kind and service minded. Both room and bathroom were nice, clean and quite. We even had a small balcony, a small fridge and a water cooker and air conditioner.
Karin B — Google review
Found this place on Priceline for 49€. It’s clean, has a patio, and is walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants My only complaint is that it is not a hotel, it is inside of a normal apartment building, and the neighboring unit had two loud dogs
Louie A — Google review
(Translated by Google) We were initially put off by the entrance, which looks like an abandoned building with apartments. We were then received very friendly by Paulo. Rooms are tastefully decorated. What bothered us was that there were no separately covered pillows (only decorative pillows). The sliding door to the bathroom didn't close properly for us.

(Translated by Google) The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The doors were all automated so no problems with times for entering or exiting the hotel. I recommend the room with sea view, because we saw it (not booked because it was already taken) and it was wow! A real suite! I recommend this accommodation if you pass through Nazaré, also because it is in the center and easily accessible!

(Translated by Google) Our room had a balcony, where you could enjoy the sound of the waves in all its splendor at night. The room is fabulous, with all the comforts and new furniture on the beachfront and in the very center of Nazare. All doors are automated just like the blinds. Even though it is on the seafront, it is very well soundproofed. A place to return to.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful and comfortable room with a pleasant shower, air conditioning, good blankets and bedspreads, an outdoor balcony, and a TV. My only suggestion would be to add warm lights to the lamp and dim the lights in the bathroom to make the atmosphere even more cozy. Mr. Paulo was very helpful. Cute place, excellent location, clean. Good water pressure, very comfy bed, and good lighting. If I could choose 4.5 stars, I would. I wish it had a head height shower (the wand is at waist height, and I don't care for the rain shower head). In the kitchen, the on-demand hot water can scald, and temp. regulation isn't ideal. Good value, and would definitely come back.
