Awesome atmosphere, good live music, tasty (but slightly expensive) cocktails! The place is small, but you can hear and see just fine from the outside. The place gathered a bigger crowd than expected, but it wasn't so crowded you couldn't get to the bar or toilet. I only found one toilet though, and inside was one unisex stall.

This is a cool jazz bar with a great atmosphere! It does get really busy later on in the evening though but there’s space for people to stand outside and drink too. The band playing were amazing and there was a nice vibe there.

Great music, with talented musicians. The best band we found in Thailand searching from North to South. Highly recommend you get there just earlier than 7. The fourth floor is an intimate, small space. Think tiny desk concert. If you show up late you'll be drinking on the streets hoping for a chance to enter, which won't happen. Arrive early or be prepared to stand out front with the hundreds of tourists.

The best bar that you can choose to spend a night out in the city. The crowd is incredible, the fact that is next to the road makes it even a more local experience. The few band that we saw were super talented and made the crowd stand up a few times. Cocktails are a bit expensive but definitely worth it. I would definitely come back if I’m here again. Make sure to come early if you wanna grab a sit but standing places are more than fine as well. Can’t recommend it enough if you love live music and seeing some of the local talent.

I was brought here with a friend who has local thai friends and this place is a gem. If you’re a music fan and you just want to listen and jam and drink some drinks and socialize then this is a good place. seating is scattered outside , inside and upstairs but everyone finds a spot and just enjoys the energy of the room. i wish i got better content but we sat inside back and it was great. highly recommend if your on a date or with a friend and just wanna vibe out.

A Hidden Gem for Music Lovers!! As a music lover who travels often for business, I always look for a place where I can unwind and enjoy good jazz after a long working day. This time, I found an absolute gem. Northgate Jazz offers different bands and live music every night, each with its own style and charm. With just one glass in hand, I can relax and enjoy the music until late at night. Warm atmosphere, talented musicians, and a perfect spot to end the day. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real music.

I’d recommend getting there about 30 minutes before the show to grab a seat. if you go too late, there might not be any left. The vibe is amazing, and there’s no minimum spend. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.

People come on stage after 11pm. Before that, it is no different from any other neighborhood bar, but once you get a little drunk, everyone starts dancing together. I don't know exactly what time it closes, but the peak time is from 11pm to 1am. Most drinks are reasonable, and you can dance with just one drink. It was the club with the most people dancing in the neighborhood.

Very nice outdoor bar with great decorations. There are different zones to enjoy—chill-out seating areas as well as dancing zones (both outdoor and indoor with AC). It’s usually quiet on weekdays but gets very busy on weekends. Drinks are affordable (small beers 100–120 baht, cocktails around 200 baht a glass). Most of the crowd here are tourists. The staff are friendly, and they always check IDs

Went there around 9pm, its not yet busy. Theres a crowd starting 11pm onwards. Music wise, the party people love it!

Had a good time, we got there around 9 pm on a Monday and we thought it would be chill vibes and out of nowhere it became a big party. It was such a grand time, meeting many tourist and locals was a good time. They also gave me 2 free shots for waiting on my margarita and it was so nice.

If you are looking for the typical tourist place you can go there. It's nice you have a lots of bars where you can play pool and beer pong. But it's full of tourists and no Thai. Prices are okay and the alcool is not top quality.

Not worth the hype. If you are looking for a crowded club or to meet new people you can enjoy the place. I didn't like the music, but that is subjective. The drinks are at a reasonable price The staff were rude, we ordered drinks twice and then went inside the club. When we returned to our seats they told us we need to order more drinks to stay and didn't believe that we have already ordered before.

Insanely fun for SongKran, Our Hostel ended up there most nights for all of the water they have going around there! Make sure to bring something to fight back with and put your phone in a waterproof bag! I’ll definitely be coming here again for SK in a few weeks!

This is a very nice coffee shop directly on the River Ping. Good seating inside AC and good seating outside. Coffee taste Was not very good. Too much water in my americano and not enough taste. I hope next Time we return the coffee will taste better. This shop has a lot of potential.

We decided to check out the club even though we didn’t know much about it. The vibe was okay, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The dance floor felt tight and crowded, with tables placed too close to really move or dance freely.

Drinks are okay. Atmosphere is cool. Bartenders will lie to you about not accepting credit cards. I had to pay cash but my Korean friend could pay with card.

This place is intolerable. Insanely loud...like an audio bulldozer with lots of young Thai people sitting around looking bored staring at phones. I have no idea why anyone would think this is fun. Nobody is dancing either. Just a place to be seen. I will never step foot in again.

I really like this place! There’s 2 branches (or imitators) in Singapore and it’s a well-known club/restobar in Chiang Mai, so I had to come here. First night I came a little earlier for dinner and I have to say the service was absolutely class. The waiters did not speak much English, nor do I speak much Thai, but they still did their jobs really well, helping me with refilling my glass, etc. I had suki and some small bites and they were really good. I was expecting something perhaps overpriced but the bowl of suki was delicious and the serving was big. Obviously you could find cheaper food elsewhere but I definitely wouldn’t complain. There was also a live band. Came back another night at a later time and it was more lively and became a club/a couple of clubs. The outdoor area played a style of music whereas the indoor area played another style. All in all, great vibes. Street food carts outside also sold absolutely delicious oden.

Apparently it's a bar & club with super good local food! This place has long been "hip" with vibrant atmosphere. They have both live band and DJs. If you're looking for local vibes, this is the place you could enjoy.

This place is huge! The immediate view of the place is only half of the bar. You have a seating upstairs and a disco further in the back on your way to the toilette. I only had couple of beers at the bar so I can't say anything about the food or service at the tables. But at the bar the service was quick and attentative. The crowd is more 20-30 ish people. Think you need to be at least 20 yo since bouncers were checking ID. It's a relaxed atmosphere and casual clothing. Some people were dressed up though. The best part was live band, playing reggae cover songs and some popular thai songs.

One of the great place to have a chill relaxing dinner just beside the river. This place is huge with plenty of table setting but we do made booking earlier before coming. For the menu, you can’t be sure which to order because too much great food. Overall I love it, definitely will come back again & this place not expensive at all, all at affordable price.

We had a nice dinner here for my Mom's birthday. The food tastes nice and the ambience is also great. The shrimp rolls and pork knuckle were delicious. I preferred their crab fried rice than the pineapple. The catfish salad was also a new discovery for us. All in all, I'd say it's worth the price.

Found this little gem of a place via someone on you tube who recommended it. I couldn't agree more. Wonderful venue in a great location . Staff were lovely. The food was AMAZING . Talked to the owner who is a lovely gentleman . They have live music of all kinds on an evening so will definitely be going back. Big thumbs up. 👍

This restaurant and bar is very large and is located on the Ping River with a beautiful view. In the section of the restaurant I will call the primary restaurant is family friendly. I saw many large groups and families there with children enjoying the music from a distance and enjoying their food. Because the restaurant is so large you can sit in an area where you can still hear and see the band, but it is not too loud, and you can still engage in conversation with your friends. I came here with a friend on at Sunday night for cocktails and the music. We saw the band that performed at 9:30. The band was great! At one point there was an impromptu sing-along. People were dancing at their tables. I did not eat at the restaurant, but my friend ordered from the menu so that gave me an opportunity to take a look at the menu. It is quite extensive. I ordered a premium gin. My drink was very good. The Service: the service is excellent. They have many waiters and waitresses walking around looking for someone who may need some service or other help. They even have printed on the back of their T-shirt “Order Here.”Service prompt and friendly. Good to Know: There is parking. Reservations not required. I visited awhile back while I was still living in Chiang Mai. We ate here twice, once on the river cruise and once in the restaurant itself. Booking the river cruise was a breeze because the person who communicated with me via Facebook was prompt and responsive. The food here was tasty and the frequent change-up of musicians in one night was a refreshing move. Although the music is still loud, sadly normal in such restaurants, this is still my preferred establishment this side of the river.

Delicious deep fried chicken in pandan leaves, pending curry and green curry were also yummy. I loved the pumpkin leaves in garlic sauce. Nice music and nice views

Very touristy bar, if you just come to Chiang Mai or stay for a few weeks and want to hang out with other tourists it’s good to come here. But if you’ve been here for some time, probably you’re going to be bored…

If you can’t enjoy yourself at Roots Rock Reggae there’s something wrong with ya🤗🤔🤗 The staff are amazing, the venue is spot on, the music is great & you can meet likeminded people who are both interesting & fun loving. There’s a cool outside area where people can socialise, smoke, & chew the fat. With regard to tourists, this is Chiang Mai, there’s tourist everywhere. 🎶🍺💃ENJOY🕺🏼🍺🎶

The band and music vibe is pretty chill, but received very aggressive and disrespectful energy from manager. It was shocking. I will not be returning here

Absolutely buzzing on a Friday night, not too busy, not too quiet. Drinks are reasonably priced, especially considering that there is live music. Great spot if you’re after a more chill vibe compared to the other bars in the area. Definitely worth a visit. (The gin fizz is great).

Very enjoyable little reggae bar. Attentive and accommodating staff. Reasonable priced drinks, a small selection of newly legalized 💨 for the stoners out there. (Good move on that Thailand!👍😶‍🌫️) The live music was a 8 piece Reggae group called The croissant band which put on a very fun show! Definitely worth checking out! One of our more enjoyable evenings!

Great place to come and relax.Its on the rooftop so away from hustle and bustle of the street. Amazing drinks as well! they make one of the best watermelon smoothies I have been able to try in Chiang Mai during my stay ( ask for no sugar if you want it pure). I am non smoker but enjoyed spending time in there. Highly recommend 💗

Really nice bar to have a drink and chill. Reasonably cheap for beers and pretty alright for cocktails as well. If you are looking to unwind or relax then you can't go far wrong. Just wouldn't be a place to start the night.

What a great place to enjoy the evening and to just get some fantastic cocktails to a fair price. We can recommend the Forbidden Jungle & Mai Tai. Both are excellent! You need to order at the bar and the drinks are brought to your table. It seems like music style is changing daily (2 days ago Reggae and yesterday some kind of deep house).

Great atmosphere by the river with live music and a wide variety of Thai and international dishes. The grilled river prawns were fresh and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff, quick service, and beautiful night views of the Ping River. A must-visit in Chiang Mai.

Lovely restaurant with great ambience. The live music was incredible and the energy was palpable. Various fun spot if you’re looking for a high energy fun place to hang with friends or family. The menu has a nice mix of traditional Thai food and western food and surprise, also sushi. I would say the food was pretty good just not exceptional, but I would definitely go back because the music and energy was really nice in the spot.

Went there November 25, the service was absolutely appalling, ordered drinks only got one tried to charged us for them again, the prawn crackers came half way through the meal. One main dish came long before the next, we were missing the two rice dishes, eventually got two but the one was wrong and then the two correct ones arrived. Shame as the food was ok but spoilt by poor service and the main dishes being only warm when the rice arrived. Total shambles best spend your money where it is appreciated

Watched the Australian State of Origin match. TV transmission was a bit flaky but the sound was good. Fish and chips very tasty and generally a nice place to watch the sport upstairs.

Let me start by saying we should have known better to order food at a sports bar/pub....but I've been to Irish pubs all around the world and they always have good food right?? WRONG. I ordered "Rory's favorite", that was the worst handheld sandwich I've ever experienced. I couldn't help but laugh at how bad it was. We also ordered the chicken fingers which I'm fairly certain was deep fried cut up chicken NECK. We ordered garlic bread and it was just stale toasted bread with a small dab of garlic butter on each piece. Overpriced & terrible ingredients. Seems like a decent place to watch sports and have some drinks though, but don't eat here or you'll be disappointed. Honestly, how do you ruin chicken fingers and garlic bread??

I have been to Irish pubs all over the world - this one is your typical Irish pub. Get a Guinness or Jameson and have a seat at the bar! I tried their fish and chips which were pretty good for being in Thailand! No complaints at all. The bar staff were great and always laughing. There is outdoor seating as well. I enjoyed the story of the pub in the menu, being that my family was from County Monaghan way back when - it kind of hit home! This place is not fancy - but most of the pubs I have been in Ireland are not either! TVs on too so I’m sure you can catch a game too!

Amazing Menu, on site baked goods, killer breakfast menu, and the most important thing, handmade coffee drinks! We ordered the “Thai style iced coffee”. Came in a large glass (20 oz) for 70 TB ($2.16 USD). Also ordered a cinnamon roll that was meh. But the coffee alone is worth coming here. I’m addicted! This breakfast menu is the most complete I have seen in this country so far (photos below). AND they have their own Beer Garden! Do yourself a solid, and impress whoever is with you, and come here. You are welcome!

​The UN Irish Pub in Chiang Mai is a great spot for a casual lunch with friends. The service from the staff was excellent, and they were very friendly. ​I had the fish and chips. The fish seemed like it was from a frozen fillet, but it was cooked nicely and had a crispy batter. ​Overall, it's a solid choice for a laid-back meal and a good atmosphere.

Dropped in here for a couple of Guinness on a Thursday night. It's a nice enough place, the staff were friendly, and there was a pub quiz on upstairs. There wasn't much of an atmosphere in the main pub but that was fine for us - they also had a beer garden area and a second floor which may have been more lively!

Cool rooftop bar in Chiang Mai. Actually the rooftop of Maya is really nice. Even if you don’t want to go to the bar, you can enjoy the rooftop. It’s best at the sunset time. You can enjoy the superb view of the mountains, the view of the city, the greenery, planes landing and talking off from the close airport. Myst serves many cocktails, a bit pricey, but good range. Taste is okay. Great for couples, group of friends, even for a curious solo traveler for people watching and enjoying the view.

Such an incredible bar! The view is spectacular and the drinks + food are both amazing. We had dinner and drinks here before going to see a movie and it was a perfect spot for date night. We will definitely be coming back here. Staff were also great.

A great place to hangout with friends. Lots of drinks to choose and very reasonable price. Cocktails were great but not the best( Not comparing with from mixologist). A real deal with food too. Delicious and come in big portion. You won’t get disappointed coming here.

Cosy little rooftop bar located at the 6th floor of Maya mall. We enjoyed a wonderful time watching the New Year’s party going on the street on the 15th of April. It was great to feel the vibrant atmosphere while being seated safely away from the water battle field. 😃 The staff was very friendly and nice, the atmosphere relaxed and casual. We were dressed for hiking and nobody said anything. We had some nice cocktails and some food. Both on the pricey side, but we had a good time and felt it was worth it.

One of my favorite hidden gems of the Maya Mall. We needed a quick place to meet osme friends and we wanted some place easy to meet and the mall was easy enough but we didn't know it had a whole rooftop bar at the top! This was an amazing find and we enjoyed the night air atop the mall, looking over Nimman. The drinks were made well and the staff were great. Lots of cool places to take pictures at. Overall a good spot for quick drinks with friends, at an easy enough location to get to if you're in the Nimman area.

Top floor of Maya Shopping Mall. Fantastic view at night. Shame about the smog over Doi Suthep. Food reasonably priced but some of the drinks a little pricey. I had a jug of Singha, about 225 baht with service charge. Well worth a visit.

Cool roof-top bar on the top of Maya in center of Chiangmai. Atmosphere was great, really like the bartender performances. There’re 2 storeys; below was so lively, above’s some kind of private zone. Fancy cocktails, chill music, nice weather, good talks , you couldn’t ask for more.

The house band is all the money. For us, it was what kept us there. Guitarist is an act on his own. Great young guitarist who puts in an act and delivers flawless solos, with his own twist, on classic rock tracks. A seasoned basist as solid as Gibraltar rock Great drummer and a great vocalist (although if you are looking for a great English accent, well, you shouldn't come to Thailand) . Service is what you would expect in a tourist infested industry. We didn't try any food. The atmosphere is great. However, at some point, the sounds of other bars (with live music and similar tracks) are playing simultaneously with the band. As it is an open air venue within a market, the cacophony created by various music acts and large crowds, can become too much.

During my week stay in this neighborhood I would walk down daily to the markets and hear the music from above. It only took 2 night before my feet followed the music and headed upstairs to a magical little place. The quality of music here is off the charts. My favorite time is Friday from 730-930pm when the blues band plays. They have different bands coming through every night so keep your ears open to the vibe you like and come on up! I've heard rock, alt rock, and blues so far. Don't forget tip the musicians! They absolutely slay. Also they tend to fill up around 9ish and when we were there at 7:45 we essentially had a private show for an hour :)

Great bar and has been for years. We went on a Saturday evening and they had 3 bands playing that evening - all of them great particularly the last who got us up dancing. Always loved this place and a good place to go for a bit of live music that’s different from other bars in Chiang Mai.

Monday night 9.30pm Memorial Day Holiday Very quiet but the music played on just for the 2 of us. Drinks are affordable but pity craft beer is not available. Will come back again for sure

Came here many times over the past 9 years. Forgot to rate this warm cozy space with genuine good music. Not over the top, no fancy decorations, just good music.

This music bar is great, very suitable for people who play music. Drinks are also cheap and you can meet many interesting people. The only negative point is that the air conditioning is too cold, you may need to wear a coat.

Cozy atmosphere with equally comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The margarita was okay, bottle drink prices were reasonable. We really liked the artists Broccoli Blossom who performed that night. Keep in mind there are many mosquitos indoors and outdoors so just come prepared with sleeves and big spray and you’ll be fine.

It is a small place, nice and cozy and the music sounds lovelyinside!

Amazing place to hang out. During the day the cafe is such a lovely place to be and you should try Dirty Butter Scotch (coffee drink). During the night there is a small club with life music and great vibe.

We decided to stop here for dinner and to seek refuge from the madding crowd in the very extensive night market. This is a lively bar and restaurant, hosted by friendly staff. There are many dishes on offer here, including the usual favourites. All of the food that we ordered was nice, but nothing stood out, in particular as a memorable dish. As an example, the yellow curry was quite tasty, but lacked the intense flavours that we had experienced in other restaurants. The same could be said of the fried pork and basil and the som tum salad. The food aside, we did enjoy the atmosphere and the place has a nice vibe to it.

Review for “Writers Club & Wine Bar,” Chiang Mai I was very disappointed with my visit to Writers Club & Wine Bar. The mixed juice was heavily diluted with water and had barely any fruit flavor. If you order a fresh mixed juice at It’s Good Kitchen just a few hundred meters away, you’ll immediately notice the difference — their juice is so thick and fruity that it’s hard to drink through a straw. Here, it tasted almost entirely of water. The soups were also watery and bland — clearly stretched with too much water. Overall, the food tasted poor and lacked flavor, and I will definitely not eat there again. The place feels more like a bar that happens to serve food on the side, supposedly Thai, but it has little to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The cook — and also the owner — could honestly benefit from taking a few cooking lessons at It’s Good Kitchen to learn how to prepare truly good, tasty, and freshly made food. If it were possible to give zero stars or even negative stars, I would rate this restaurant –2 stars.

We really enjoyed this place and found it to be one of our favourite meals in Chiang Mai! Lots of tasty options on the menu as well as quick and friendly service. We ordered two main dishes, two portions of rice, starters, a desert plus two rounds of beers each which all came to less than £10 per person - great value for money.

In a good location, close to some of the temples and monuments. This restaurant serves lots of the Thai classics. My pineapple fried rice was tasty and I enjoyed my fresh orange juice.

I really like this place. Simple, fast and tasty Thai food, with well priced beer and cocktails. A nice vibe and friendly staff. I had the Pad Sieu Gai (stir fried flat noodles with Chicken - which I highly recommend if you like Pad Thai, but want something different), plus a beer and the Thai Sabai cocktail (like a mojito but with Thai spirit!).

Services and atmosphere were great, a bit wet today due to heavy rain. The food however was under expectation, especially the Salmon & Tuna Tartar which was very much under season and bland. Just creamy favour, lack of citrus and a bit of sweet. Hope this will be improved.

Loved it. Very nice place to wind down your day. Lots of beers to choose from. Finger foods were really good too. Pork chop was a little dry and the sauce was a little too salty but other than that food are great. Staffs super friendly and attentive. The female staff who attended to us was knowledgeable about all beers and she even turn on football games for us on the TV too. Lots of people were in the restaurant when we arrived and more came later that night. Curbside parking and indoor and outdoor seatings but no A/C.

Staff and venue/ location are good. Beers are way overpriced, 295b for a 500ml so called Pint. Beer costs more than a main meal. Won't be back.

Beer lover this is the place to go. They offerany local beer and international beer. Ranging from draft and bottle, detail menu and bio about each beer. Food menu is awesome and taste delicious. Attentive staff and friendly. Price might be higher then other local bar or pub but you get to enjoy the full authentic of beer that come with its own glass. Highly recommended to drop by and give a try.

Looking nice from the outside. They serve good variety of beer (both taps and bottled) and interesting cocktail choices. Price is slightly pricey, almost same with Bangkok. Nice atmosphere, lots of selection of beers but more than half beers are not available… so minus 1 point otherwise I was happy with my beer came in good quality (coz some places don’t clean machines properly or preserve properly and affect the taste ) Blood cocktail was unique and photogenic but didn’t taste alcohol so felt something missing. Unpleasant. Paid 120 for my drink but was told I didn’t pay. Security footage clearly show me paying at least 40 baht (although pretty sure I paid over the drink requirement). Was told I can’t come in unless I pay the extra money despite having already paid. Not friendly. Mediocre night out.

Take realy care about the TOPMODEL KARAOKE BAR, i live here since many years but never experienced such a bad habit. This is real scam. A Woman pick me up at Spicy Club and bring me to Top model karaoke bar without telling me where she want go. They insult me not gave money after the women order drinks on their own. Crazy bad people just get their money, not care about people. . Treated me like shit, insulted I don't have money. Pushed me out of the club after i paid the bill. Please don't bring money there, they not deserve. This bar must get closed

Left the amazing music and atmosphere of Zoe in Yellow to go to the after hours at The Spicy. For starters, the DJ was playing entire length radio music songs, not even a scratch or remix. I went to the Spicy club with a friend from Myanmar and shortly into our visit, we encountered a woman who asked my friend where he was from, we thought nothing of it, but little did we know, she would end up making obscene statements and comments, insinuating that he was illegally here and threatened to call the police to report him. This outburst was completely random and targeted. I've never experienced such blatant prejudice. We left shortly after the exchange, as the music was not enjoyable anyway, and we didn't want to be around such a person. As it was raining pretty hard, we waited outside for a taxi, my friend went back in to go use the restroom while I stood waiting outside and before I know it, I look up and security is roughly tossing him out of the bar, their reason stated was they were keeping him and the woman separate, but he never even went up to the woman, he was on his way to the restroom when this happened. But, the woman made a false claim on my friend to try and save herself, when WE decided to leave peacefully because someone like that is not worth an argument. Overall, the situation was handled poorly, I would certainly never make my way back to The Spicy. I caution any Burmese individuals to steer clear as well, this is not a welcoming club.

Its a place where you will get scammed by girls that will take you to another place and will put you in a very dangeros situation. My friend was violently put inside a room with 6 men bc of that scam and was hit in several ocasions.

The music was awesome and loud, just the way I love it. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was energetic and fun. I enjoyed the DJs and the drinks were refreshing and cheap(hmmm 🤔🤔 not really 😂). I would definitely recommend The Spicy Chiangmai to anyone who loves EDM music and a good time.

The food and service was first class; friendly, attentive and professional staff and the food was lovely… presented really well and tasted great. The only disappointment was the lack of people dining which made the environment feel empty. It did not detract from our enjoyment but would be great to see more people using this great restaurant. I have had multiple excellent experiences at Rosemary Brasserie in the Maladee Hotel in Chiang Mai. The first time I went for brunch and their Bircher Muesil was incredible! My friend got the brunch buffet option which also included a bunch of unique choices. The second time I went with my wife and it was the perfect romantic atmosphere for our lunch. Service was impeccable and I loved the Fettuccine Truffle dish. I also love their selection of mocktails for those who can’t/dont drink. Overall, wonderful experiences at Rosemary Brasserie. Highly recommend, I will definitely be back!

The food and services is top class! Starting with breakfast I have attached a sample menu and real breakthrough pic. They serve continental and cooked breakfasts and the coffee is made to your liking. We had dinner over two nights and I highly recommend the pasta dishes. Not only is it authentic but it reminds me of the pasta we had in Rome. The chef is talented. As for the service it is friendly, helpful and you can see the staff are highly skilled. I recommend if you are in Chiang Mai you have dinner here!

Very attentive, good service, nice and cozy surroundings. Breakfast have good selections with smaller portions so you can try out different dishes. Mei greeted us in Chinese mandarin and offered information for local attention, it was very nice of her. Will recommend who to stay at Maladee Rendezvous Hotel and the Rosemary restaurant for a relaxing getaway.

What is there not to love about Paapu. Great welcoming crowd of foreigners and locals with some great music every Thursday. I recommend arriving early to grab a sit, however, ive arrived at 9pm before and still found a spot, truly unbelievable how they’re able to create space for everyone. The owner Paapu is the best! Truly one of my favorite spots for music.

Amazing!! Such a lovely place to stay with incredible staff. Our twin room was very cosy and spacious and felt like a home away from home, while being super central and convenient. The restaurant in the lobby was great and the food was incredible (we ate there every day without fail). This was the nicest place we’ve stayed in our 3 months of travelling South East Asia, I couldn’t recommend this more highly! Honestly perfect!

Wonderful little guesthouse just outside the old town in Chiangmai, very cute and quirky space, with a wonderful kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a very hearty and tasty big breakfast which set me up for my day of exploring, good barista coffee too. My room and bed was super comfortable, private and perfect for a solo traveller who likes a bit of privacy. Great value accomodation in central Chiangmai, perfect location for exploring. There is also amazing live music every Thursday evening 8pm till midnight! Worth staying just to experience. Paapu and her staff were super helpful, warm and welcoming :) there is also a cute cat!

Our experience was at the restaurant. Food.is pretty okay, I asked to swap eggs with a vegan alternative, they've done it without any problems. Fod was good, portions a bit small. This is such a great spot, it's a super cute guesthouse with nice clean rooms that are great for short or long stays. They have a great breakfast menu and some good happy hour deals. The owner is a lovely person and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not bad but not great either. The paintings around the place are cool. We were hoping for a feed and drink but were only handed a drink menu on arrival so we ordered a couple of drinks and listened to the live music (was a shame that it was more Tom Jones & soft rock than reggae). The female toilets smelt of stale urine otherwise the venue itself went with the Rasta vibe.

Extremely disappointed. I came to check out this spot with my friends and we were very impressed with band. After about 5 minutes of being in the restaurant a man who appeared to be the owner came up to us and very aggressively started asking why we weren't buying drinks (while we were looking at the drink and food menu). We politely asked him for a couple minutes to decide on our drinks but before we could even finish he proceeded to say we need to support him and it costs them money to pay for the band. He then began to yell at us and say we dont have respect and called us Americans. He said if we don't buy now then we can get out.. and with that we had enough. I will not tolerate that type of disrespect from someone who is clearly benefiting from my culture. He assumed we were Americans and must have thought it was ok to speak to us in a very disrespectful way. As the 3 out of 6 people in the bar, he pretty much ruined any chances of getting our business with his lack of class and sheer disrespect. Because of the scene he was making in the bar we decided to leave. First time in Thailand and first time at this bar - this guy single handedly ruined the night with his ignorance, terrible attitude and ego. Really unfortunate because the band was good! If he came to Jamaica he would never been treated this way. Whether he was buying a drink or not. Never judge a book by its cover, treat everyone with respect, your business depends on it.

This is a cracking small bar within many of the old towns hidden alleyways. Whilst the happy hour is a big draw at 80Baht for a large beer or glass of wine, in my opinion the bigger draws are the great music that they play and the very relaxed atmosphere. The lady behind the bar is a real gem. Check this bar out you won’t be disappointed.

This must be my favorite bar in Chiang Mai. I keep coming back! With its relaxed atmosphere, tasty cocktails and super friendly staff, you'll feel at home there. Music is not too loud, allowing for great discussions, as the Hut seems to consistently attract the best people, both old-time expats and travelers. If you're lucky, you can also enjoy some of the best live music Chiang Mai has to offer. On top of that, the bar is home to a few cute cats.

The food was very nice with reasonable prices. My friend got a mango matcha which she loved. We also got brownies with mango for desert which was so delicious. I recommend coming in here for lunch. Service was very good too and they have a button on the table for you to press if they are not in sight.

They had a special buy one waffle get the second for free. Had the eggs with bacon which tasted excellent, and the peanut butter chocolate waffles which were soft and fluffy accompanied with sliced banana which too it over the top! The people spoke English and treated me very well! Definitely recommend this cafe!

Absolutely Loved This Place! We stopped by Baan Buri Café and were honestly surprised by how great everything was. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff are super friendly, and the service is quick and attentive. The food and drinks were fresh, tasty, and beautifully served. You can really feel the love and attention they put into every dish. The café has a really positive vibe, perfect for relaxing, grabbing a light meal, or just enjoying a good coffee break. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area, this place definitely deserves more attention. We’ll gladly come back again!

Had a lovely dinner here! We were greeted by the lovely Ruby (who recognised us from lunch the day before!) the dinner menu was so extensive with great options. Also a wide range of drinks both non alcoholic and alcoholic including sodas and cocktails. Food was served super quickly and was hot and tasty. Thank you!

The food was decent but I was disappointed about one thing. The dish I ordered was eggs benedict with homemade fries and fresh fruits. The picture clearly shows homemade wedge fries BUT I ended up getting regular frozen fries. I am not even mad about the fact that I got regular fries but it's the fact that the waiter didn't tell me that I would be getting them instead. Those homemade fries were one of the main reasons I got that dish and I may have gotten another dish instead if I knew! This kind of service should be expected.

At night, the market opens with many many vendors on the sidewalks on both sides of the streets, that feels like there is no end. Great place to shop for souvenirs, clothes, and accessories. A lot of western food also available. Local food is priced slightly more than at markets that cater to locals. Based on my one visit, this night market is mostly frequented by tourists.

A great place to try a lot of different foods. There was live music both nights we visited. We tried several options including pad Thai, curry, spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, mango shakes, roti, and seafood tom yum soup. We enjoyed it all. The bathroom is clean, but you have to pay for paper.

This market attracts good english speaking crowd but unfortunately the food is not up to the mark. The food stalls require major improvements. There’s a live band that plays every evening and there’s a special event every weekend. Overall a decent place to hangout after shopping in the area.

Nice foodcourt with a broad selection of dishes and cuisines. Seems to be more geared towards the tourist Market but there were still a decent amount of locals around. Prices are slightly higher than you would find along the city street nut still very afordable.

Dropped by slightly after lunch and wasn’t too hungry, so I went with a club sandwich and two pints of Guinness. The portion of the sandwich was quite generous, and while the taste was just okay, it did the job. I was seated outside under the shade, but it was still quite warm—some stronger fans would definitely help with air circulation. That said, the atmosphere was still pleasant, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the experience more enjoyable.

Ate here 3 or 4 times now. It's a nice little pub serving British and Thai food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The sausage and mash are yummy, the closest I've tasted to back home in UK. Haven't drank here but they do a nice selection of imported beer too 😊

Our bar tender is the sweetest!!! He made me an amazing Khalua Coffee after walking around the city all day!! With a side of delicious home made whipcream to go with it! I recommend stopping here if you are a HardRock fan!!

Simply wow…The food was amazing and delicious. Menu is extensive. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. There were live band performances and it was FIRE!! There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

Things I liked: -Great interior -Kind staff, although sometimes it felt like they had been trained to be pushy in an American-style (and also they were unable to answer many of my menu questions before I ordered) -Not incredible food, but quite decent. Much smaller portions than I was expecting however. Things I disliked: -Being pushed to give an online review in the middle of my meal. -I couldn't sit outside without being swarmed by mosquitoes. Maybe they just like my blood :-) -Hidden charges, disclosed only in the smallest/unclear footnote, that added almost 20% to the cost I was expecting for the meal. -Water prices are at least double what they are most places Once upon a time, not that long ago, you could get apparently have an all-you-can-buffet here for 200 THB. Now, for one set menu meal, one small dessert, and a few bottles of water the price was well over 1200 THB. (I'm not sure, but this policy of "adding" VAT to the bill may also be a Farang-specific policy. The waiter asked me where I was from as soon as I sat down, and it seemed like he had been instructed to do so.) 12-13k THB is certainly not the end of the world. But, at that point, you are clearly paying Western prices, and, especially given the much smaller portions than you might receive in the West (at least where I am from), I'm not really sure the value is there. This is decent Continental/steakhouse-style food for Thailand, but it is certainly not a Michelin-starred venue. In any case, they should be much more transparent about what their prices actually are before you order. This is literally the first restaurant I've encountered in Chiang Mai that I felt was not.

Every Friday they have a "Carvery Buffet" for 700 Baht net. Because we like buffets and the photos looked good we booked a table. Unfortunately the food was not very exciting. The worst was, that the beef and lamb was cold what made them hard to chew. Perhaps it would be better to cut the slices very slim like roast beef. The only real hot dish was the soup. Some very tasty desserts. For a small Heineken they charge 150 Baht plus 10% service charge.

Amazing 'Carvery Night' buffet on Wednesday nights (I've been at least 3 times and my review is purely about that as I haven't eaten here any other time). A large range of really high quality and delicious food. My highlights are; -Yorkshire puddings -Beef stew -Roast chicken (if they have it) -Homemade ice cream (only one flavour per night, the vanilla was great, the strawberry not as good but still nice) -Pudding -Chocolate mousse -Chocolate fountain!! -Various cakes -Beef and lamb* *The beef and lamb are thick and medium rare to rare which is a bit undercooked for me (shock, horror!) The salad bar also looks great but I usually skip it to save room for the more unique items.

The new upgraded dining area is beautiful. Food still great, especially the lamb and beef. I hadn't cared for the pizza in the past but it tasted great the last time I went to the Cavery night buffet.

Its been gorgeous favor. Tasty and healthy food. We love shrimp suop, it amazing and favorite tast. Set up salad bar corner, quite a choice and fresh.

They have an acceptable all-you-can-eat buffet on Friday nights 6-9 pm. It’s not perfect. The meat was slow cooked too long and had a powdery texture that was unpleasant. The pork loin was over cooked. The lamb had traces of rancidity. It’s difficult to properly cook lamb so that it doesn’t have rancid notes, so I can’t really blame them for not really knowing how to do it. They have a pizza corner with terrible pizza. The deserts unfortunately use artificial ingredients instead of wholesome ones, so they aren’t so nice. The salads were okay. In that section was this very over cooked salmon, that if cooked properly, could have been nice. On a different occasion, I came and had a pork chop. That was properly cooked—medium rare, with a nice crust and good taste and texture. So I would recommend avoiding the buffet until they can get a better grade of beef and learn how to cook all these meats better.

First time for Sunday lunch,had the lamb,more than an ample portion, the staff who looked after us, were wonderful, very attentive. The owner introduced himself and made a point of shaking our hands as we left. Will definitely return. I was told by my lunch companion that normally it's almost impossible to find a free table here, the Sunday brunch is so good,and I can well imagine it. My friend had the pork and as good as the lamb was, I will try the pork next.

Had the half chicken roast. Stuffing was soft moist and full of flavour. The gravy was devine. The giant Yorkshire pudding was perfect. 11 years in thailand and hands down the best most delicious roast I have ate. 20/10

We arrived around 7:20pm when it was still quiet and placed our order soon after. By 7:45pm, the restaurant had gotten busier, and we noticed several tables that arrived after us were being served their meals. The couple seated beside us, who came 20 minutes later, received their food before us. At that point, I asked the waiter about our order. She was quite nice and assured us it was on the way—we did not receive our food untill 8:15pm. When it finally arrived, the food was very average, which was disappointing after such a long wait. We’re not fussy eaters, but neither of us finished our meals. I had the half chicken which was very dry and my partner had the bangers and mash. The only standout was the Yorkshire pudding. Overall, it was a frustrating experience for two very hungry people. Going by other reviews, I am sure this was just a once off experience.

I've been twice for beers and it is a fine option. It is an open air restaurant with cute wait staff. Unfortunately, no view of anything except a fairly busy road and a wall behind it. I did however splurge on the haddock fish and chips. I was hesitant given the heafty price but I will be honest. It was absolutely delicious and the portion size was huge. Cheers 🙏

Been away from home for 7 weeks now and just wanted some home comfort food. I was not disappointed. Absolutely banging sausage, mash, peas, yorkshire and gravy. My partner had the fish and chips which was also very good. Shame they don’t do Thatchers anymore though. Friendly quick service and food came out pipping. Gutted to be leaving tomorrow morning as I could have murdered Sunday dinner.

First of all, I would like to compliment all the staff here who were in excellent service and they were respectful and politely. Which ensures that they are well trained. The atmosphere in this place is good, suitable for a jazz club, clean, and elegant for taking pictures because the lighting is suitable for taking pictures without flash. I would like to criticize the food a little bit. The price is quite high compared to other places, and the amount is quite small compared to the price. The taste of the food is not very delicious, and there are not many options for the menu, such as a cheese board for almost 500 baht, which should have cold cuts as well. Normally, but there are none here. I would like to suggest that this point be improved, which would be great and may give me an opportunity to go back again. As for the jazz bands that perform, it depends on the day and what kind of music they will play. I recommend that you ask the place personal page, because for me, I'm not a fan of all kinds jazz music.

The bar and restaurant have a great ambiance with plenty of comfortable seating (both inside and outside). They recently built a larger stage and relocated it closer to the door so that it’s easier for customers to see the band from both sides of the bar area. There is no cover charge. Happy hour starts at 5 PM with 2 for 1 drink specials from their cocktails menu. We will keep returning here for the great music and drinks!

Always visit here each time I come to Chiang Mai. Good music. There was once over Songkran I came round and waited but the musicians somehow couldn’t make it. Bar manager apologised and offered the bills are covered. I was impressed.

On the day I arrived, there was a great jazz music performance, but unfortunately, the venue intentionally left the door open, and the noise from the street seriously affected the quality of the performance. If the goal is to allow people outside to hear the music, perhaps setting up an outdoor sound system would be a better solution. This would show more respect for the musicians. On a positive note, the waiter was by far the best service staff I’ve ever encountered!

What a lovely hidden little gem this place is. Delicious food, lovely service, and wonderful local bands. Good sound system for the music too, clean bathrooms, good wifi, definitely coming back for more. So happy we stumbled into this place.

The food is a fusion of thai and vietnamese i can say... I like the chicken salad and my friends really like the water buffalo. The place's atmosphere is amazing, giving me the hippie kinda vibe lol. The live music is great too.

Iconically known for their amazing music, vibes and delicious and authentic Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. They are now open for BREAKFAST!!! Stopped by for lunch with my mom, didn’t get the before picture of the food but for what it’s worth I couldn’t wait to dig in.

We loved this place. Looking for somewhere open late, we stumbled in and took a seat close to the talented live musicians. They were great and we enjoyed listening to and watching them. We came around 9:00 and it was mostly empty. There was plenty of seating, both for small parties and for groups, and it was comfortable at night in the middle of August. There are fans but it's basically open-air. The service was friendly. We ordered drinks and received a small bucket of purified ice as well. The food was fantastic and simple. The menu was massive and the English easy to understand. There were lots of pictures. Highly recommend this place, especially for groups. It would be a good izakaya-style spot for groups to order lots of different dishes and share. Everything was prepared to order and brought out hot. We were still hungry after a couple plates and re-ordered the fried pork on the snack menu; it was that good.

Great dive-y bar with lots of outdoor and indoor seating, fantastic music (Neil Young all night last time I was there), and delicious food (catfish laab).

There are several live bars in Chiang Mai, but this one stands out among them. A rough atmosphere. Soulful music. Order amidst a free spirit. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Wow for a monday night these bands got the vibes going. i wish i had better content to show but i was so immersed. i brought a date and we had the best time. i made a reservation in advance and got us a little package through the app on google maps. Super easy and when we arrived we got a front row table and each table has a call button so getting service is amazing. The food was ok nothing bad nothing great but ultimately the snacks and drinks were good and that’s more important. If you need a good place for a few hours to jam and relax i recommend this spot and check their instagram to see what kind of music is playing. Enjoy !

Very good atmosphere, very delicious food, very exciting Songkran performance, the security guard at the door also helped to store the water gun, unlike Warm Up, which did not allow water guns to be brought in and not stored, resulting in the newly bought water gun being lost in Warm Up, which fully illustrates the philosophy of the managers of the two stores. Enjoy the warm live atmosphere at Tawandang Mahason, the waiters are very enthusiastic, every performance is excellent, the toilets are very clean and tidy, and I was not disappointed when I came the second time, and I will come again in the future.

If you want to party “like a local” this very popular and famous night club in Chiang Mai is for you! They have great live music and dancing shows that last well into the morning hours. Some patrons will stay all night until the sun comes up and the partying stops. It’s a great club for dancing, even though there is no separate dance floor. The Thai people just get up and dance between the tables. The music can be very loud, if you are sitting close to the stage, so be aware of that. Service is very good, and believe me, their very attentive staff will be sure to keep your drink full until you leave. I would recommend that you call and reserve a table, if you can, but they do allow walk ins. This club is an excellent place to visit to check out how the Thai people love good music and dancing all night.

Overall, Tawandang is a lively local hotspot that foreign visitors can also enjoy. If you’re looking for a fun night out with good music, energetic dancing, and solid food, it’s definitely worth a try.

The entry to this place was free and there was free partying around the venue at night. I bought one jung of beer we ordered two Thai dishes and a pork knuckle and in total that came to 1260 Baht. But it was a nice setup in here with a lot of entertainment but I will say he local Thai people love this place as it was packed. We got there about 8.30pm and able to choose where we wanted to sit but by 10pm it was full. There was live Thai music and dancers throughout the night and very entertaining. I will put up a video on my YouTube the travelling social worker later but put some clips on my TikTok TTSWThailand. A fun place to visit overall but I probably would not order as much food next time as it was too much for two of us 😂

I think it's the best club you can go to in the city and the artists put on a great show. I highly recommend it. I've never been to a place like this in Thailand before.

We went there looking for clubs, but this place is a massive restaurant with large concerts and shows. They had variety of food and drinks (which is good if that's what you want). The place seemed fun, but it wasn't what we expected it to be. It would be a good place to visit as an experience.

They said bands every night….except last Sunday anyhow. We ate 3rd floor anyhow. Nice view. Hot with no fans. Pineapple rice came without pineapple shell as pictured. Waiter said in was rotten…so what about the pineapple in the rice? It was bad too. Horrible. Quesadillas were good .bacon sandwich sparse. I wouldn’t return to eat. Bottled Chang upstairs too warm, had to ask for glass with ice. Won’t go back, too many better places. We left and went to John’s Thai food next door to fill up!

They serve great drinks at the Moat House. The restaurant / bar which is facing the ancient city Moat is in the whole building in three stories, so it’s one of the bigger restaurant in Chiang Mai. The owner was the first person I met upon entering the roof top bar in the Moat House. It’s a good sign when the boss himself oversees the establishment. He was very friendly. And I had a seat and GT in no time, so 5 star for the service. They have some really cool wall art here and the ambiance is chilled and welcoming. You can smoke outside on the balcony 🚬 🙏 thanks I had lamb shank with mashed potatoes and it was tender and juicy. They also have live music which also gets top reviews. There’s a bit of traffic noise and fume but not many places in Chiang Mai don’t have this issue. And the worst quiets down after rush hour. If you are disabled only the ground floor is accessible. (Toilets on 1st Floor) I was there early on a Sunday evening so not to many people at this hour but the place is usually packed. Prices are VERY reasonable. Moat house is one of my favourite places in Chiang Mai. I’ll definitely be back

A friend brought me along to a language exchange on the rooftop of The Moat House in Chiang Mai, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I ended up chatting with some interesting people from diverse backgrounds—nothing formal, just good conversations while we practiced our language skills. The rooftop itself was a nice touch, with solid views of the city and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to settle in. I’m planning to go again; it’s a decent way to meet new people and improve your language skills without any fuss.

I stopped by Mahoree for an hour after a long day of a lot of walking from Doi Intanon to relax. The cocktails were great. We have Mahoree and Farmers. The guy playing live music was still a young soloist and talented.

I determined to visit on the first day of Chiang Mai on saturday (around 11pm) right after I landed here and it was amazing. The band and the vibe was wonderful!!!

We were in MaHoRee last week. It was less busy than expected, as I read the reviews mentioned that usually busy so booked over their IG a day ago. We stayed for two sessions of music performances, the first was musical and like Disney theme which was fine. The later one was a full band of Jazz that can bring up the atmosphere. Location is near to the most busy street, MaHoRee was the most busy music bar the night we went among all. My husband had draught beer Singha at $200 bhat for a pint. I first had Tom Collins that I really like they put the lemon twist so to bring out the scent of citrus and earl grey. And they suggested their creative cocktail, Overturn, which was a tea infused cocktail, taste more girly and sweet. The indoor area is small but more comfortable when compared to the North Gate. There is an outdoor area which is more spacious as well as second floor can view the performance too.

Order Muay Thai beer, he charged me premium beer price but give me standard beer quality. Another tourist scam to be aware

They also have second floor to enjoy the vibe. Drinks/beverages are various, you can choose whatever you like.

Was really looking forward to some live jazz, unfortunately it's on all days except Mondays and so we were subjected to some extremely loud noise instead - not sure if I can call that music. For this reason, we left once we finished our drinks. What a pity as the choice of music was completely incongruous with the interiors and vibes. Drinks averaged 350-400 thb each. Caterpillar was interesting; Bees knees had barely any hint of sake. Sprout was light as well.

Pretty expensive considering this is Chiang mai. Some of their cocktails are more expensive than what you would pay in Gangnam, Apkujung in Korea. But music, vibe, crowd and staffs were all very good. large westerner guests, not many locals.

This is a wonderful festival, with really nice flowers and a variety of gardens to explore. The lights at night are really beautiful and they have periodic shows that are high quality and entertaining. The market here is great with a nice selection of souvenirs and plenty of traditional food items. The prices in the food market are really low as well!

Cool event, this year organizers combined multiple festivals - there was a Outside Camp Fest, Rock climbing fest, Balloon show and the Winter Flower Festival itself. In the program hourly waters show from 8 pm to 10 pm. At the end of every waters show dance show on the decorated side.

A great evening out. There is no entrance fee. There are pretty flowers and displays. I suggest getting there an hour before sunset. There is plenty of light in the evening to see the flowers but there is something magical about seeing it all in natural light. There is a great variety of food and entertainment. The light displays are very pretty and well done. There is a water, laser and fireworks 🎇 show as well every hour.

The location of annual flower festival event in the winter time in Chiang Mai. The amount of the flowers is not that impressive, but the entrance fee is free so you don’t wanna expect much. Some of the area look good, but the layout of the entire space seems to be able to improve more by hiring better designers. It is worth coming if you are bored in town.

We were on a tour in Thailand and stayed in Holiday Garden Tower in Chiang Mai, within walking distance was this cozy bar with many young people. With Very Nice live music, We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed some delicious gin and tonics. friendly staff who politely called a taxi for us during heavy rain, great!

Nice little pub in old town. Arrived soaking wet from the rain and they had big fans going so we all dried out in no time. Free pool table was nice. Whole place was clean and had a new feeling. Friendly staff and owners. They had live music when we were there, Johnny Nocash, who was a pretty good Thai singer/guitarist.

Rather a small cafe. 2nd floor is like a small quiet space with only a few tables. They are open until 7pm, but 2nd floor is only open until 445pm. I got hot cappuccino and it was ok.

Situation at the end of a quiet lane, saw this gem on Google map and decided to check it out. Gotten their latte and it was nice and not too acidic. Prices were slightly lower than the other cafes I passed by too. They have more seats on 2nd level. Free WiFi and great service too.

This is a must visit bar if you like rock. The band i saw and guitarists where amazing! If the stars went to 10 I would give 10. The guy went full Hendrix mode! All the band is great. Bar staff was super friendly. The only negative from the night was I turned up at 11 so only saw them play for an hour. I could have watched them all night. I think it was 100B for a small Chang or Singh? Or there abouts, I'm writing the review a few weeks later. After watching the video I took again I had to give some positive feedback. When I am in Chang mai again I will be visiting this bar again for sure!

Crossroads Rock Bar has an amazing vibe and the live music is absolutely fantastic - truly the highlight! Service was alright, no complaints there. Just a heads-up: it gets extremely cold inside, and the strobe lights often point right at patrons, which can be a bit blinding. Despite those minor points, I had a great time and would definitely go back. Highly recommend for a fun night out with awesome tunes! 🤘🏽

This sports bar is comfortably set up, with both outdoor seating and indoor areas that include a pool table. Further inside, there’s a rock music stage and an indoor bar. The band played some impressive rock hits from the 90s. If you’re not ready for loud music, it’s a good idea to sit outside where you can still enjoy the sound from a distance. We only had beer and soda, so we weren’t particularly impressed by the drinks. Service was quick and efficient. The restroom is located outside the bar, up a staircase to the second floor. The stairs are quite steep and a bit dark, so be careful when going up.

Great spot for live Rock n Roll bands! Was a lively change from most places with live music. No cover charge and average beer prices. Food is zero as we didn't eat there.

Great music, top tier lighting and sound, perfect music club vibe. A little pricey but for quality entertainment, it's understandable. Service is the bad point. Even with only having 2 tables of people, the server will not pay attention to you waving your arms for service because they're on their phone. Plus, to pay after each drink is annoying. Overall, nice rock bar, tough servicethough.

Crossroads rock bar looks a promising new venue for music in Chiang Mai. I will endeavour to return another evening when music is on. It looks a good venue and the staff were friendly.

Best bar I’ve been too, sick live music goes hard. Dope place to visit

When we visited the place, it was very quiet. We were the only customers. Music was fine. I believe they have live music at some days, but was not when we've been there. Beer selection is like everywhere and some small bites along are available. Staff is friendly. You are asked to pay drinks right after receiving them.

Great small bar with excellent acoustics for the live bands. They have 2 sets starting at 9pm and snacks avaliable. Price mentioned include beers and food over a 3 hour period

It's a cosy little live music bar. The mojito was one of the better one I had in Thailand. Live music starts about 8pm and it's packed at around 10pm. It's mostly locals and young hipster people. Nice place to enjoy a beer or a drink and listen to local talents.

Live music which was brilliant on a Sunday, large bottle of Chang 85 baht and food pretty reasonable. Also shows the football and has a pool table. Perfect for a few beers with friends.

Been here a few times, place has been done up well, the music is good. Trouble seems to be them running out of cold beer then charging you for Ice to cool it down. Why they can't just buy another fridge is beyond me. The staff always seem to change and it appears no training is given, so service is pretty bad. Despite the earn beer and lousy service it is a great place to hang out. The customers just accept the owner seems to have lost interest in the place

This bar used to be such a nice, cozy place with great atmosphere back in 2017-2018. Since then they reconstructed the places several times (why do you always do it, every few months?) and people stopped coming...It used to be packed couple years ago, but last 2 years its almost always empty, depressing and dead. It's a pity

Pool is not free! It looks free, there is no sign saying is costs anything, and nobody told us. The bartender even brought us the triangle, bit didn't tell us "you have to pay for each game you play." Everything was fine until our bill came and they charged us for each game we played. Very sneaky, and similar to other bars in the area charging you for ice. Wouldn't be surprised if they charged you each time you used the toilet. The pool table sucks as well. We are not tourists, we just moved in down the street and this could have been our daily bar. Your sly extra charge means we will not visit your bar again.

I'm changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. I have been there 5-6 times, and every single time the service is beyond acceptable. Last time, the staff was more than "just" useless. They actually go out of their way to make your experience bad. I leave 2 stars cause the place is nice, and the music is good.

Cool, cozy and casual local bar with great live music and pool table. The mixed drinks/cocktails are not great but they are cheap and so is the beer.

One of my go to bars in Chiang Mai. Same employees for many years and all very sweet and welcoming. Big Chang is 130 bath so prices are somewhat ok thinking of this is Chiang Mai. Decent pool table and a nice big screen that shows sports. Go here at try this place out I can definitely recommend it

Spiked Drinks still happen! My husbands drink was spiked at this bar a few nights ago. This review isn't to blame as we dont know who did this, but to remind everyone that drink spiking still happens and to be extra careful no matter where you are. We are just thankful that we got a taxi back to our accommodation and not tried to walk. I was able to help my husband through a very tough night, the drug affected him in a very scary way and it was a long, long night that freighted the both of us. Thankfully he is much better. This was otherwise a fun night that turned very bad very quickly.

Rasta Love Cafe' Is it chill relax bar located in the heart of old Chiang Mai. Recommended for reggae vibes cold beer, and good company... ❤️💛💚
