Very beautiful art deco Monument in Roserio. This is the very attractive and famous place of Roserio. You can take a ticket to the upper part of this Monument from where the beautiful view of the city and the paraná river from the viewing platform. There is a beautiful church and a big park next to it. Next to this monument is very luxurious buildings and greenery which makes it even more attractive. The beautiful view of the Parana river is very fun in the evening. Small food shops next to the Parana river add to the beauty of the evening.

A historical place to learn about some of Argentinas and other countries' history. You can also learn about the Antarctica control devision over time. There's a little gift shop. Be advised that the employees don't speak much English, but with the use of Google translate we got by pretty good.

The city of Rosario, where the museum is located, has a rich history dating back to the eighteenth century when it slowly developed around Catholic missions, military outposts, and estancias in an area known as Pago de los Arroyos.
Rosario is blessed the building’s beautiful layout and architectural features! A real gem with great art. There was amarket or féria with pop art in the front area on the day I attended!
Patrick C — Google review
Castagnino is located in a very trendy area and hosts the best modern and contemporary art collection and exhibitions in Rosario. Usually from Friday to Sunday, music concerts, mostly jazz and classical music are at display in the Foyer (not very adequate to this purpose) While the place is wonderful, especially because of its workers love for art, in general is not well kept. Entrance is close to free (1/2 a $ as of mid 2019). Opens from 11 to 7 and is closed on Monday.

Teatro El Círculo, inaugurated in 1904 and renovated in 2004 for its centenary, is a historic theater that now serves as a cultural center hosting international performers from various genres. With a seating capacity of 1,450 spread across five levels, the main room features a stunning dome adorned with beautiful frescoes. The theater's well-preserved original features include the seats and the intricately painted proscenium.
Beautiful historical theater with 114 years of history! Definitely do the guided tour to learn more about the history of all the beautiful details of this theater. The theater is well-maintained with much of it original, including the seats and the proscenium. Look carefully at the proscenium. It is quite the work of art! It looks 3-dimensional, but is really entirely painted.
Madelyn — Google review
It was an awesome theater performance that truly showcased the dedication and talent of the young boys and girls. Their choreography was precise, expressive, and filled with energy, reflecting countless hours of rehearsals and a genuine passion for performing. Each movement felt purposeful and synchronized, adding depth to the story they were telling on stage. The enthusiasm they brought to the performance lit up the room and left the audience thoroughly impressed. It was a beautiful display of youthful creativity and teamwork.

Great beach, lots of space, bars, food, volleyball nets, Kayaking and tunes pumping in the background. Thumbs up
Fergal K — Google review
Great place for the family. It has some of the attractions the Parana River has to offer. Also it is more secure than other local beaches. If you're not concerned so much about security you should consider taking a boat to cross the River.
Pablo E — Google review
It's a decent beach. The sand is clean, but the parts along the river are more muddy. The price is ok. It was around 100 pesos each. There are changing areas, bathrooms, and showers. The water seems clean enough.

Monument
In the heart of Rosario, Argentina, stands the "Monumento al Che Guevara," a tribute to one of the city’s most renowned figures, Ernesto Che Guevara. This bronze statue was unveiled in 2008 to mark what would have been his 80th birthday, symbolizing a long-overdue acknowledgment from Argentine authorities. Unlike Cuba, where Che is celebrated as a national hero, his hometown took time to embrace this legacy.

(Translated by Google) A place of vindication of the political militancy of a man committed to just causes. With a Latin American vision. The monument to Ernesto Guevara is located in the Hipólito Yrigoyen park in the city of Rosario. Its construction and location was an epic experience led by the political and social organizations of the broad progressive spectrum of Santa Fe. A permanent victim of attacks of intolerance, the monument built with keys donated from various geographies is a living example that utopias can be sustained in the long term. Beyond all this, the place next to the old train station, popular restaurants and grills on the avenue provides the charm for a day in the park with family and/or friends. Highly recommended.

Independence Park is our modest, but beautiful, version of the Central Park of NY. Not only its the lungs of our city right in its heart but you'll also find lots of different things to do and to see. The municipal Horse Race Truck (with a good entertainment venue at its center), at least 3 or 4 museums, a beutiful "Rosedal" and a lot more

Cathedral Basilica Our Lady of Rosario is a stunning 19th-century cathedral located in Rosario, Argentina. The city itself is known for its rich history and vibrant cultural scene, with attractions like the Flag Monument honoring General Manuel Belgrano. The cathedral's Carrara marble altar and beautiful vitraux make it a must-see in the city.
Its terrain, like the Grigera Square and the Municipality, was donated by Victorio Grigera in 1860. The first phase of construction started on January 16 of that year, by the Nicolás and José Canale architects. The cornerstone of the building was laid by Bartolomé Mitre. Its opening was completed on January 22, 1865, while construction of the transept, the dome and the current sanctuary began in 1898, under the supervision of the architects Juan Ochoa and Domingo Selva, concluding on January 24, 1900. To mark its centenary, in 1965, it was declared a Minor Basilica by Pope Paul VI.

Museo de la Memoria, located in Rosario, Argentina, was once an army headquarters and a site where people were held and tortured during the Dirty War. The museum's main focus is to remember the violence and crimes committed during that time. It showcases various rotating art exhibitions by different artists. Visitors can also learn about the history of the building, including its connection to Ernesto Guevara Lynch and Celia de la Serna.
The Museum of Memory was created in 1998 through an ordinance of the Municipal Council of Rosario, with the objective of promoting access to knowledge and research on the situation of human rights and social and political memory in our region, in the country and in Latin America. Its collection includes material of various kinds that reports on human rights violations in Latin America and the world, especially on the actions of State terrorism during the last military-civilian dictatorship in Argentina. Since December 2010, in its definitive headquarters -building occupied in the past by the II Army Corps Command-, the Museum offers the public a permanent exhibition hall, with works designed by prominent artists from the city of Rosario, and another of temporary exhibitions. It also has a documentary center, a specialized library with more than 3,500 volumes and periodicals, an area of educational extension, an auditorium with capacity for more than 120 people, among other services. The Museum of the Memory of Rosario is one of the pioneer institutions in Latin America in the treatment of post-genocide memories and has managed to configure itself as a true reference in its kind on the national and international scene. He is a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, of the Federal Network of Memory Sites, under the National Human Rights Secretariat, and of the South American Network of Memory Sites, among other institutions. It is located at the corner of Córdoba and Moreno streets, in front of San Martín Square, the Faculty of Law, one hundred meters from the former Provincial Police Headquarters and two hundred from the former Clandestine Detention Center known as the Information Service, a place imprisonment, torment, death and disappearance of thousands of men and women. This building, originally known as Casa de los Padres, was designed by the architect Ermette De Lorenzi and built by engineer José Spirandelli in 1928. The house was no longer used as a family residence towards the end of the 1940s. at that time, the residence had different uses: headquarters of the military power - there the bureaucratic and operative base of the II Army Corps Command settled down over more than 25 years. In 1983, with the recovery of democracy, the building went from being close to the demolition to be used for governmental purposes, first, and commercial until March 2010. In its spacious and bright rooms, the Army designed and carried out - in close collaboration with the provincial police and different sectors of civil society - the plan of persecution and extermination that was deployed in six provinces of Argentina. This building was a forced pilgrimage site for relatives of detainees-disappeared, who came to its doors in the hope of obtaining an answer about the fate of their loved ones, snatched from their side by the repressive forces.

We must know so as not to forget. The attention and guidance is excellent! The place is very well decorated and cared for. I recommend attending with high school students, with prior work. (Translated by Google) The Rosario Memory Museum is definitely a very special place in the city. It is a space to exercise memory and reflection on the dark years of the last military dictatorship in Argentina, but from a very different place than the one I expected to find before meeting it. Each of its corners challenges our spirit without resorting to any cheap blow. The vehicle is art in its different manifestations. When not, the blessed art that speaks to us, that moves us, that transmits to us what is worth understanding.
