Tourist information center
Marco das Três Fronteiras in Brazil is a significant landmark that marks the meeting point of the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Situated near the convergence of the Iguacu and Parana rivers, it offers breathtaking panoramic views and a rich cultural experience. Visitors can explore an obelisk, Jesuit museum, restaurant, fountain, and playground on-site.
We thought it was pretty cool! The culture show is roughly 2-2.5 hours long starting at around 6:30. I would recommend getting here around 6 in order to get a good spot. The best spot is going to be directly facing the river and the monument. There was a great variety of styles of dance from all three countries throughout their histories, and several times where audience participation was encouraged!
Patrick C — Google review
Beautiful location overlooking the rivers, where the 3 countries border. Had to pay 60 Brazilian R to enter. There are various food and drinks stalls and a restaurant. At 6:30pm there was a show with dancing and talking about the history of the 3 countries, however it was all in Portuguese so we couldn't understand it! There's a big gift shop, toilets and there were a load of taxis out front.
Suzie G — Google review
Great experience. We went there around 4pm and took some pictures with the famous sign and then sat to see the cool show. It was fun. The weather was great and the sunset was beautiful
Saba S — Google review
We visited Marco das Três Fronteiras, the landmark where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. It’s a beautiful, well-organized area with a friendly crowd and a spectacular evening show that celebrates the cultures of all three countries. The performances — with music and dances from Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay — were absolutely amazing. It’s definitely a must-see experience for anyone visiting Foz do Iguaçu. From the site, you can clearly see both the Paraguayan and Argentinian sides across the river system — one river flows toward the Iguaçu Falls, another toward the Itaipu Dam, and the third separates the nations. The setting itself is stunning, especially around sunset when the lights come on. Our tour guide was excellent — very organized, helping us get through the entrance quickly and picking us up right on time after the show, which ended around 8:30 PM. The performance began at 7 PM and was full of energy and audience interaction. The dancers invited the crowd to join in, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Even though the show was entirely in Portuguese and most of the visitors were Brazilian, we didn’t feel left out at all — it was so engaging that we enjoyed every minute. We noticed a few tourists from Argentina, Uruguay, and El Salvador, and it seemed like we might have been the only ones from the U.S. Overall, this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time — lively, affordable, and full of culture. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the tri-border region. If you ever come to Foz do Iguaçu, make sure Marco das Três Fronteiras is on your list!
Alper Y — Google review
A very cool thing to see, but unless there is a show, this is your basic tourist trap. The process to buy food is complicated and expensive. The photos cost money. They do have high quality apparel and merch.
Chelsea T — Google review
Tres Fronteras (Marco das Três Fronteiras) in Brazil is a unique and culturally rich tourist landmark located in Foz do Iguaçu, where the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet at the confluence of the Paraná and Iguaçu rivers. Visitors can stand at the tri-border point and view three countries simultaneously, a rare geographical experience. The site features:Beautiful views of the rivers and the neighboring countries’ flags and monuments marking each border.A cultural show in the evening with traditional dances and music representing the three nations, which is highly praised for its vibrant performance and historic storytelling.A souvenir market, restaurants, and amenities making it comfortable for visitors.Historic and artistic installations honoring the Jesuit Missions and regional explorers.Visitors appreciate the stunning scenery, especially at sunset, and the lively cultural atmosphere. While some find the entrance fee a bit high for what is offered, most recommend it as a must-see for its unique location and cultural significance.Tres Fronteras offers a blend of natural beauty, history, and cultural entertainment, making it a memorable stop when visiting the Iguazu region

Quite a cool attraction. Other than the views and the restaurant/bar, there's not too much to do. But I would still recommend visiting.
Gavin H — Google review
You can view paraguay from the Brazil side. Also you can go on a ferris wheel for a fee and see Argentina and Brazil and Paraguay. Stayed for the free evening dance performances, which was fantastic. Lots of vendors to choose from for a variety of foods.

N A — Google review
Really bad experience with security. Due to my medication I have to eat every 2 hours healthy food, they didn’t allow me to take it with me, and in the park there is no healthy options I can take, just fried food which made me feel sick! 🤢 had a really bad day
Sofía A — Google review
It will be nice in the future, but now there are not many attractions. The ones they have are nice and fun. There are just two types of water slides (not for the scary ones), one wave pool and not much more. The price is expensive for the few attractions they have. Not recommended until things change
Michu G — Google review
I went to the park on Sunday. I spent the afternoon there with my friends, and we had a really good time. Nonetheless, I had a few inconvenients that take a lot of effort from my side to get solved. I paid the entrance fee with my credit card, and there was an issue with the register, so I was asked to repeat the process. Two days later, I found that I was charged twice for the entrance fee. At the moment of the purchase, they told me that if that happened, I was supposed to ask for refund via WhatsApp. After many attempts to contact them, I finally got an answer, and 15 days later I got a refund. Also, they charged me 80 R$ for a broken bracelet, that when I got it, it was already damaged, but I didn't know that would be an issue. It was not good to experiment a stressful situation the whole week after having a blast on Sunday afternoon. Word of advice: take into consideration that you better carry cash with you to pay the entrance fee and expenses.

Nestled within the vibrant Dreamland Complex, Dreams Ice Bar is a one-of-a-kind attraction that transports visitors into a frosty wonderland. This polar-themed ice bar features walls, furniture, and stunning sculptures all crafted from ice, creating an enchanting atmosphere perfect for those seeking respite from the heat of Foz do Iguacu. With temperatures consistently hovering around -11°C (12°F), guests can enjoy exotic drinks served in glasses made of ice while lounging on solid blocks of frozen artistry.
Loved it. It is a small place, very small. But, the experience is something different. Drinks that are included. And good pics.
Clyde L — Google review
They use equipment inside the bar that damages smartphone's camera. I have many photos before and after the ice bar. Before the visit, my photos don't have any marks. During the visit, I made some photos inside using my phone camera. Because of the poor blue-colored light inside the bar, I don't see any marks (shown on the attached photo). After I left the bar, I continued taking pictures, but all of them have a permanent mark because the camera's sensor was damaged by a laser beam of some sort. I don't know where the light came from. 1. I hope the light that damaged my sensor is safe for human eyes. 2. If this is how they want to stop people making photos inside and pay to their workers for the job, then they deserve 1 star rating. 3. If this is unintentional and they have to use the equipment, then they should put a warning.
Maksim Z — Google review
You enter a very cold room and try drinks with a glass of ice. It was a pleasant experience But his ticket is a bit high
Bader W — Google review
A good place to visit if you are in iguazu!! The music, the drinks are very much enjoyable.
Nithin S — Google review
This place is cool...like -4C degrees cool. You will need to schedule your time to visit and will have about 45 minutes inside where there will he several juice drinks available served in cups made of ice. There will be photographers inside and will attempt to sell you photos upon exiting. The music is upbeat inside.
Michael P — Google review
Amazing! It's really cold there, you get a coat and gloves to enter, there's free drinks and music, you can stay for 25 minutes inside, but can leave before it( you can't return),there's some ice sculptures and even the cups are pure ice! I recommend it.
Creative N — Google review
Nice place. Similar though to Absolut Ice Bar in Stockholm, Sweden. Here it is included drinks, as many as you can drink, during the 30 minutes you have inside.
Jan-Erik S — Google review
So they kinda just cram a bunch of people in a cold room. Still fun though, free drinks, not a bad price for the experience.

Not worth the money!! You pay R$500 to get access to all 6 displays. Then, as you walk through the displays, there are photographers asking to take your picture. They charge R$50 for 1 photo!! It costs more for 1 picture than it does for the ticket to the park. If they were R$10-15 they would sell so many more pictures but they are greedy. Some displays take literally 10 minutes to finish walking through. Save your money and do something else.
Lee F — Google review
I would say those wax museums are the tourist attractions of the past. Since the ticket included 6 attractions, we have visited the museum as well but I would not put it on the list of must-see things.

Iguassu Secret Falls is a hidden gem nestled in the Foz do Iguacu region, offering an enchanting escape into pristine nature. Accessible only through ecological trails, this private reserve ensures that visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquility of untouched landscapes. Here, you can discover stunning waterfalls and natural pools surrounded by lush rainforests, providing a serene retreat from bustling tourist spots.
We had a great time today with our tour guide, Nick. 🫶🏻 We went down several different trails and saw a great variety of waterfalls. And the best part, we could go into every single one 😎 If you're looking for some wild water fun during your stay in Foz, this is definitely a recommendation for you. + the BBQ ribs at the lunch spot were godly 😋 ++ Very English friendly
Mariska M — Google review
This was a magical tour. Jeferson, the tour guide, provided abundant local knowledge with many opportunities to ask questions and pause to enjoy the natural beauty of the environment. There were lots of opportunities to enjoy nature, swim in the abundant secret waterfalls, and enjoy the beauty of the forest and the waterfalls without feeling rushed — we even got the chance to do some cliff diving near one of the waterfalls. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. The guide was so knowledgeable also about local plants and animals — particularly mushrooms! — and was so professional and engaging. I had a great time and can’t wait to go back. Definitely remember to bring shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet (and make sure they don’t slide!).
Ryan S — Google review
The mixture of the natural beauty and exercise was fabulous. Nick was not just an only excellent and knowledgeable guide in 3 languages (!), he also made sure that he met different needs of all the participants ( including age and fitness level). Thank you for an amazing day!
Ania N — Google review
Wow this was a wonderful fully immersive experience of the Secret falls (lower falls NOT the Cataratas). Camily took us through hidden trails along the tributaries including crossing at various points & literally holding my hand to stop me falling in 🤭 she was knowledgeable about the surroundings and the plants and trees very much on her natural environment. We had the opportunity to swim but we weren’t brave enough!
Claire V — Google review
Camily and Nico were fantastic guides to an unforgettable day in the rainforest. This locally owned business is a show case for sustainable and eco friendly tourism. Safety first and knowledgeable guides, great lunch and plenty of waterfalls with opportunities to swim, take pictures and experience the flora and fauna (we saw wild monkeys!). Trail wasn’t strenuous, very comfortable pace. Absolute recommend!
Joetta B — Google review
Camila and Andrés made our experience incredibly special! They speak really great English, know tons of facts about the flora and fauna of the area, and take so many pictures/videos that you capture every magical moment. Below I share one! (And, for context, we did the full day)
Natalia R — Google review
Too expensive for what they offer $60 USD I will give 2 starts because Roberto the tour guide was really nice and very competent in his job. I did the full day tour and I regret it. They’re a few trails and for each one you need to drive. They offer one tour in the morning and another one in the afternoon. If you are doing the full day; after you finish in the morning you need to drive to the hotel the people that are only doing the tour in the morning and go to pick up people that are going to join the tour in the afternoon…. I wish I knew that information before join this tour. The trails are nice. Keep in mind to take enough water with you and hiking shoes.
M B — Google review
Camily was awesome! She was very knowledgeable of the trails and super conscious of our safety throughout the day. ❣️ she also took cool pictures of us and was a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend this excursion with Camily 💯

Experience a vibrant night out at Rafain Churrascaria Show in Foz do Iguacu, where you can immerse yourself in Latin American culture and folklore. This popular tourist attraction offers a Dinner with Latin American Show featuring performances from eight countries, including Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
The Rafain Show in Foz do Iguaçu is a lively and entertaining cultural experience. Combining a buffet-style dinner with a colorful musical performance, the show highlights the rich diversity of Latin American culture. The performers showcase traditional music and dance from countries like Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and others, making it a vibrant celebration of the region’s heritage. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including Brazilian barbecue and international options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. While the food is decent, the real highlight is the energy and skill of the performers. The costumes, live music, and dance routines create a festive and immersive atmosphere. Though it can feel a bit touristy, the Rafain Show is a fun way to spend an evening, especially for those looking to experience the cultural richness of South America in one place. It’s a perfect complement to a trip to Iguaçu Falls.
Jenny N — Google review
The restaurant offers a wide buffet with plenty of food options and good steaks. However, the dancing show was too long and ended up feeling boring. The cultural performance didn’t make much sense—it felt out of place, especially since you’re already in Brazil and can experience authentic culture elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend the dinner-and-show package. It’s only worth visiting for the food.
Providential M — Google review
Unfortunately, the dinner was not very good – the combination of shrimp with charcuterie felt strange and didn’t work well. The show itself was nothing special, quite repetitive and at times even boring. You could clearly see that many guests were not engaged and looked rather uninterested. It would have been nice if the performers had interacted more with the audience, for example by encouraging people to dance. The samba part, which many were looking forward to, came only at the very end, was very short, and honestly not well executed. The service itself was good and the staff were friendly, but the tables, chairs, and overall setting were uncomfortable and not very pleasant. Overall, a disappointing experience that has a lot of potential but needs much improvement.
Naila C — Google review
Nice touristic place with a great variety of food and drinks. During nightime there‘s a show with Central American dances.
Ralph S — Google review
Rafain Churrascaria Show was amazing! The live performance featured traditional dances and songs from many South American countries. The buffet was also impressive, offering a wide variety of grilled meats, salads, and much more. A great experience overall!
Suciu I — Google review
We visited Rafain with a large group, and it was a fantastic experience. Depending on where you sit, the cost was around US $34, including transportation. Dinner is served buffet-style — including the meats — and there were plenty of options. The barbecue was excellent, carved and cooked right in front of us, and you can go back as many times as you want. In addition to the meats, there’s a huge selection of sides, appetizers, and even sushi. Drinks are not included, but prices are reasonable — for example, a 500 mL bottle of water was about US $2. The show was the highlight. It featured traditional dances and music from many South American countries. I added some video highlights, but there were many more performances I didn’t capture. The costumes, colors, and energy were amazing, and the show was very entertaining from start to finish. Everything wraps up at 10 PM sharp. For the price, this is absolutely a must-go during your visit to Foz do Iguaçu. Great food, great entertainment, and a memorable cultural experience.
Alper Y — Google review
Went to the Rafain Churrascaria Show and was pleasantly surprised! The show is a terrific tribute to the latin american music and dance. The host and performers were great! The staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was buffet style with plenty of options. The presentation was appealing and everything was delicious! The cocktails (extra charge) were well made and I enjoyed them! I had opted for the transportation to my hotel as well and the driver made sure I knew where to find her after the show, she waited for the group diligently and I reached my hotel safely. The entire experience was wonderful and I recommend that if you travel to the Foz do Iguaçu, this is an absolutely amazing way to spend the evening.

Came here as a stop from Argentina to eat, meats here are good, tastes wonderful, it’s a good Buffett if you’re not picky with food. Service is good and fast and the Buffett is always full, they don’t serve coke/pepsi here incase you are looking that.

Restaurante La Rueda 1975 is a charming dining spot that has been serving up delicious meals since its establishment in 1975. The restaurant offers a delightful mix of seafood, Argentinian steaks, and pasta, accompanied by local wines. The traditional decor adds to the overall ambiance, while the friendly and attentive service ensures a pleasant dining experience. The menu boasts an array of personalized dishes featuring exotic ingredients inspired by international cuisine.
Beautiful! Busy at 7pm which is so not Argentinian; all of our dishes were well presented and well thought out. The Dijon mustard bondiola and creamy potatoes gratin was the showstopper, followed by the stuffed local fish and penne with bocconcini. Loved the service, ambiance and pretty much everything. Definitely one of the better places to eat in Iguazu!

Excellent restaurant! We had the shrimp on surubi paste as starters, the shrimp and salmon risotto and the lava cake. They give a generous portion of bread! The starter was really tasty but the lava cake felt a bit overcooked (would have liked it more molten in the middle). Great experience overall!

La Rueda is an amazing restaurant! I went there with two friends and we were very well taken care of. The food was delicious, we ordered starters, empanadas bori bori with corazon, then bife de chorizo, and finished with a banana pancake with dulce de leche for dessert. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere is really pleasant, with great ambient music that still allows for good conversation. Highly recommend!
Robison P — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful, atmospheric. The figurines on the tables are very cool, I even bought one for myself😌 Friendly staff, does their job well. The food is delicious, I recommend the fish, local, Pacu, Surubi. Take a Chardonnay with the fish. We were there twice, we liked everything.

La Rueda in Puerto Iguazu. A turisty orientated place. "Typically" decorated. Service was ok and the food ok as well. Price was acceptable for two people 68600 pesos. The food, the "empanada de Bori Bori" was excellent, although the "tabla misionera" was just ok. The Ribeye was excellent, albeit slightly overcooked, I ordered a rare and was served a medium rare, but it was very good. The Ravioli were over cooked and over sauced. Acceptable. Not expensive for Argentina

Overall, not the best meal I’ve had in Argentina but could still be one of the better options available for dinner in Iguazu. The best part of the dinner was likely the bread basket as the steak was good but not stellar and the potatoes were quite flavorless. Overall, not a bad meal but also not a memorable one.

Dreams Park Show in Foz do Iguaçu features a wax museum with life-sized sculptures of international celebrities. It's a great place for families and friends, especially those with small kids, as it offers unique attractions. Visitors can expect an amazing outing that the kids will absolutely love. However, some have mentioned that the actual cost is higher than what is advertised on the website and there are concerns about pricing for photos at the park.
Nice place for kids, you can get a four ticket pack and see all the attractions for a special price! The dinosaur park and ice bar (the later having open bar for the adults) are the main attraction there.
Bruno L — Google review
If you like to enter a tourist trap, feel yourself welcome and go ahead 😂. Especially the miniature wonderland is a collection full of errors, where you only wonder about one thing: whether the people actually know the original buildings.
Jan B — Google review
This park has an amazing welcoming area, with a huge dinosaur, a transformer and a guy suited as Spiderman that was the best host of the park. I sincerely enjoyed talking with this guy and he even offered to take pictures for free. Having said that, the park is beautiful, but extremely overpriced. Some of the attractions cannot be photographed using your cell phone, and the people taking the "professional" pictures are really rude and bothersome, which left us really tired and negatively impacted in our experience. Be prepared to skip some of the most amazing sculptures because you cannot take photos (and you have to pay for entering, which is very anti-consumer). The price for the photos is nuts, and I encourage every person to avoid buying them. In this day and age where pictures are available to anyone, this is really incredibly bad. The other parks are also a joke. We tried the Wonders of the World, which is just a glorified miniature park, and badly constructed, with overpriced photos of the best parts. The Ice bar is just a small room with 1 free drink and many professional photographers pestering for a photo. One of the worst parts. Then there is the Motorcycle Bar, which is simply an extremely expensive restaurant, which you pay to enter and has cool motorcycles. Again, if you want a photo with Terminator and his moto, guess: you have to pay! Finally, one of the better experiences is the dinosaur park, which is great for kids but has the same problems as before: the best parts are paid. Overall, we are truly disappointed with this park. I understand that you have to generate mone, but be upfront and charge so as to be able to use the whole park without asking for little money stops every step of the way. When we left, we were only thankful to the Spiderman guy who received us; the rest is just avarice. Change the name to AvariceLand NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FOREIGNERS!
Pablo P — Google review
A three here is probably generous, but there were some pretty cool wax figures. They lose some stars because many of the wax figures don't look like the person they are supposed to (see pics), but more importantly, they have three separate attractions there (dinosaur park, wax museum, and some other wax something) and they are all charged as their own thing. The price is a bit absurd for all three things and each one on their own doesn't really make going worth the trip. We ended up doing two of the three.
Tymon J — Google review
For someone going the first time there are a couple of things you should have in mind: 1. Get your tickets there don't buy them online 2. Ask for a discount to visit all of the attractions 3. They will ask for a lot of photos of you in different scenarios and those are not cheap 4. The dinosaur one is for kids and has additional attractions inside that are not included 5. The bar with the motorcycles is really small and the tour is really short 6. Do not wear shorts to the IceBar. It's a good experience for someone going for the 1st time but I don't think I would go back. The staff is very invasive with the photos even when you say no they will insist until you get tired.
Estefania R — Google review
Well, they tried and unfortunately, they failed. Most of the way figures look nothing like the originals. The music does not make sense and in joint rooms having different tunes is rather distracting. If it was a parody about wax figures, I would say 5 stars.
Philip — Google review
Nice place to go with the family. I went to the Ice bar and the Wax museum. The ice bar was so fun! Shivering the whole time but having a blast, really nice drinks! And the barman was cool too!

If you have ever been to any of the Madame Tussauds wax museums then save your money. The replicas at Dreamland are not realistic at all. This attraction is not worth the entrance fee.

Lebanese restaurant
Le Mir Comida Arabe is a Lebanese restaurant located in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, offering classic Middle Eastern specialties such as kibbeh meatballs and kofta. The restaurant aims to introduce Brazilian diners to the authentic flavors and spices of traditional Lebanese and Arab cuisine. Despite a language barrier, the attentive waitstaff are dedicated to helping guests understand the menu. While there are limited options for vegans, the food is described as great.
The food is delicious. We had a tasting menu, with 5 starters, a mixed grill platter and 2 different deserts. Absolutely everything was great. Portion size is good. We also had some cocktails and I really recommend the Caipirinha de Champagne. We arrived at 7 and we're seated immediately. But soon after the restaurant got full. Despite that service was very quick.
Anuki — Google review
Elegant atmosphere & got seated quickly (alone, without reservation) in the front areas. But the hummus was kind of tasteless & the falafel was so thin, so that it was way too crispy without much of a soft inner part - had no taste as well, besides the oiliness. I didn't finish the falafel even I hate wasting food. When asked why I didn't finish, the ignorant response was "well, this is the way we do it in Brasil". So why ask me in the first place? Maybe the other food is better, but the arab basics are underwhelming for the expensive price!
CHapin — Google review
Lovely little place. Excellent food and services. Their take on humus and baba gounish is refreshing. I had a lamb dish that was just out of this world. Very tender and mouthwatering. Definitely worth the visit!

Delicious Arabic restaurant nestled in between the streets of the city. We came here to try something different and we were surprised! All the food was delicious but the fattoush salad was definitely the show stopper. The drinks were also delicious. Would definitely come back again if I’m in the area!

Definitely a must go restaurant for anyone into Arabic food. We had the tasting menu and Everything was delicious, well prepared and served in generous portions. Their chef's babaganoush is the among the best I have ever tasted, a must order. We arrived close to lunch closing and still we were well taken care of and the service was extremely fast.

5 stars. Good food. Outstanding service. Cozy, welcoming ambiance. What I ordered: Majn dish: lamb and rice? Side: salad - this was their weakest item Side: shredded lamb in sour cream Drink: a cup of Malbec 🍷 Quality: excellent. They cooked their lamb perfectly. Would I get again? Yes, especially on a date. I would like to specifically point out the service was outstanding. They patiently spent over 20 minutes going back-and-forth with me on google translate. I never felt pressured or hurried. On top of that this is one of those restaurants where the staff is trained to watch you from afar, waiting for you to make eye contact for service. It is on the highest tier of service. You don’t notice them until you need them 👌 I only wish I had one other person to dine with so I could have experienced the tasting menu.

There was only one clearly labeled vegan dish on the menu that I saw while there. We ended up taking it to go as there was not many other options for vegans. The food we had (unfortunately no picture) was great though! The atmosphere here is beautiful and the restaurant is a little pricey.

The Feirinha Puerto Iguazú is a must-visit spot in Argentina, drawing both tourists and locals. This simple market offers a range of typical Argentine products like alfajores, sweets, and cheese. It's a lively place where you can enjoy a casual dining experience with friends or family, savoring empanadas and snacks while having some beer.
Delicious empanadas, great variety of olives, cheese, salame. Loved the cold Plata to share.
Maiane C — Google review
This is a crowded outdoor dining area and market. It's filled with people packed in plastic tables and chairs. You can pay in AGS, BRL, or USD. As others have stated, the restaurants and stores more or less sell the same items; grilled meats, cheese, olives, and alfajores. I had dinner here and enjoyed the flavorful Brazilian grilled meat and empanada. I do not recommend the red wine that was served COLD. The prices for food were steep, however. If you don't end up eating here, I'd still visit for the cultural experience.
Kimberly D — Google review
It's a cool market to walk around, small, but with some nice products like olives, olive oil, wine, dulce de leche, etc.
JH S — Google review
The area is full of good locally-run restaurants. I just want to the busiest one because they all seemed pretty similar. Decent food, and great to soak up the local vibe.
Nicholas T — Google review
Small local market/food court, great for a meal after having done the tour of the Argentinan side of the falls but also good for drinks and starters at night. Most places DO NOT accept card but you can pay with both pesos or reais. Wines are really cheap (we bought 2 Malbec concha y toro for 25 reais), alfajors and chimi churri are also abundant and in a good price.
Caio P — Google review
The place was nice. The staff somewhat bored and impolite. The empanadas were great. The ham and cheese plater was very poor in quality.

A waste of time. Nothing really original or charming about it, just a bunch of ugly looking shops selling large bottles of olive oil and industrialized “dulce de leche“or alfajores. I had empanadas in one of the places further in (not in the main street) and ended up getting tricked on paying more than originally informed.

Ok, I travel a LOT. Museums have all kinds of regulations. So I'm very careful to keep my most precious belongings, which I need to carry as an international traveler, in one TINY bag. Not a backpack. Not a messenger bag. Not a purse. But a bag JUST big enough for my passport, wallet and phone. It has never over years of traveling in multiple countries been an issue. So we pay the admission fee, and only then are told that NO bags are allowed. None. I am supposed to put my passport and wallet and phone and cash in a locker, or stuff it in my pockets, in a damp tropical climate where it is prone to downpours, in this complex which involves walking outdoors. Craziest thing I ever heard. Fabulous little museum ruined by this insane rule. I went along with it, against my every instinct as a traveler, only for the sake of the person I was with. This extreme, restrictive rule should be prominently displayed BEFORE customers purchase their tickets.

One stop for the panoramic tour of the Itaipu hydroelectric dam, this place has a nice view of the water. The first thing you see is a big, beautiful buffet. We weren't "buffet-hungry" so we decided to get a sandwich, this one was the "Natural" and had three pieces of bread, slices of tuna, shredded carrot, tuna salad and pickles. It was pretty good. It was a cold day, and it would have been nice if they had offered soup on the menu.

If you're a car and movie enthusiast, Movie Cars is a must-visit pet-friendly attraction. This theme park features 24 scenes inspired by Hollywood movies, animations, series, and famous music videos that will take you on a nostalgic journey. Your furry friend can freely roam around the scenes with you as long as they are sociable. The cars on display are not actual movie cars but original cars from the same production year and color as their movie counterparts, modified to look exactly like them.
For myself, the experience itself was totally worth every penny invested. It started at a captivating movie car museum, a true petrolhead's paradise. My jaw dropped at the sight of iconic vehicles, each with a story to tell. Seeing the famous F1 Race winner, Ayrton Senna's helmet and his car, a relic of racing greatness, sent shivers down my spine, while Paul Walker's car brought back vivid Fast & Furious memories and a bit of heartache💖. The attention to detail in every exhibit was phenomenal, making me feel like I was stepping onto a Hollywood set. As dusk settled, we ventured into a magical forest pathway. What a transformation! The towering trees were illuminated by an enchanting array of lights, creating a dreamlike ambiance. Fairies and elves, seemingly plucked from storybooks, their whimsical presence adding to the immersive experience. It was like walking through a living fairytale. The food court was also 👌 food was good and the atmosphere beyond comparison, with some pics of the most iconic cars of the movie industry. The grand finale was an extraordinary water show. As powerful jets of water danced, scenes from beloved movies were projected onto the colossal splashes, iconic moments from cinematic history played out on this unique liquid screen, synchronized perfectly with a dramatic score. The sheer scale and artistry of the projection on water were breathtaking, providing a truly innovative and mesmerizing conclusion to an evening filled with wonder and delight. This place truly delivered an amazing experience, transforming ordinary into the spectacular 🙌 ✨️

I visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm. The place was practically empty which is great for getting unobstructed pics of the cars. However, I noticed there were professional photographers taking pics of a few guests. I assumed these were staff since they allowed the visitors to get inside of the cars for pics. There were no instructions on how to get these professional pictures taken. Most places have staff that they're only job is to get guests to take souvenir pics since it's a revenue stream, but I guess this place that is empty on a Sunday afternoon doesn't need the money. I thought there was a line waiting to take pics at the Love Bug car, but it turned out to just be a family waiting for the daughter to finish her shots. There were a few cars where professional photographers were taking personal photos for guests which meant anyone wanting to just get a pic of the car couldn't. And it wasn't like one or two shots - the photographers were taking lots of pics with lots of poses and angles. Perhaps it was because the place was empty they spent a lot of time on individual photoshoots which prevented other guests from taking photos of just the cars. None of the staff offered me the opportunity to take pics in the cars. I don't speak Portuguese so I guess my money wasn't welcomed. I usually spend a lot of money on souvenir pics and this would have been the perfect place. Oh well! I got to keep the extra money in my pocket and just took a few pics on my phone. In the diner, I ordered cheese fries, but they gave me cheese fries with meat on top. The fries were sent back to the kitchen and it was pretty obvious that they just scooped the meat off the cheese since there were still small pieces of meat in the fries. Fortunately, I'm not a vegetarian, but still not a great experience. Plus, the fries were cold and the cheese looked like it came from an aerosol spray can. I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. Overall, this was a waste of money and not a great experience. I wouldn't return or recommend.

WORST TOURIST TRAP IN BRAZIL When looking online this seemed like a great trip and a chance to do something a little different. However, my wife (who is Brazilian) and I have been to many tourist sites all over Brazil and this was by far the worst organised. After checking in at the port we went inside the boat as there did not appear to be any space left upstairs. We were happy with this as it meant that we would have AC, as we were a party of 4, 3 of whom were not Brazilian and unused to the temperature (it was around 36c when we visited). However, we could barely feel the AC. We tried to find a table for the four of us but all tables were occupied. My wife then talked to a crew member and asked about the seating situation. They simply informed us (grumpily, as many of the crew seemed to be) that we would have to sit seperately in whatever seats were left. We were unhappy with this situation, given the cost of this excursion, and unwillingness of the staff to help resolve the situation. A number of tables only had two people sitting at them but the staff did not appear interested in organising anything to help groups sit together. We finally managed to find one remaining table. We felt like the indoor space on the boat was far too crowded for the number of people on board. The boat either needed to be larger or have fewer people on board. The food was Brazilian buffet style and was good and plentiful, however, the organisation around this was not great. Because there was not much space around the tables it got really crowded, particularly when people from upstairs came down for food, impossible to move around and even hotter than it was before. Eventually after eating we decided to spend the other half of the tour outside, where there was at least a breeze. The trip itself along the river was interesting (particularly to a foreignor) and we enjoyed seeing the three frontiers from the water. But it was not worth the hassle of such a disorganised and uncomfortable experience. There are much better tourist attractions in Foz do Iguaçu to spend your time on. Apart from the incredible waterfalls we particularly enjoyed the Itaipu dam and Parque das Aves.

Great river trip with buffet dinner. We got lucky with the weather - it was a beautiful clear evening. Food good and staff are very attentive and friendly. Very good value for money and a lovely way to end the day

One of the most beautiful sun sets of Iguassu. The whole tour takes around 02:30 hours and the highlights are the two brigades connecting Brazil to Argentina (Tancredo Neves) and Brazil to Paraguay (Friendship), as well as the two most important rivers of Iguassu: Iguassu and Paraná River. During the tour You will be able to understand the meaning of the name of the city of Iguassu: Foz do Iguaçu. It means "the end of the Iguassu river" hence there is a confluence of the Iguassu River into the Paraná River which by the way it's also the place where You can see the three countries: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. They offer dinner which is okey, it could be improved a little very simple food in a buffet, overall the sun set it's the most beautiful part.
Rodrigo R — Google review
Nice people and a reasonably good buffet, but one of the most boring cruises that I've ever been on. Nothing interesting to look at apart from a couple of bridges. The fact that you're on the boundary of three countries is interesting, but they all look pretty much the same as one another.

Incredible experience on the speed boat!!! Great adrenaline rush while looking at the nature! Must do activity!!!
Maria M — Google review
Very nice food selection and eating experience by the boat deck. The ride itself was ok but was not so interesting (maybe extending a bit more the given stories about the three countries would make it better).
Duarte D — Google review
Very good attractive with a little trip (3 hours duration, with live music and a dinner at sunset, also very very beautiful!) - The dinner is included in the ticket price. The food is extremely good and nice (like high society foods). The desserts are also very good! The views are very beautiful during the boat travel. Also, the commander will tell each of the historic places visited during the trip, like Ponte da Amizade, Marco das 3 fronteiras, etc. I strongly recommend also this one!!

Guests can take advantage of the outdoor plunge pool, fully stocked bar, pool table, book exchange, and board games.
Very fun atmosphere, clean rooms and bathroom, clean white sheets and cozy blankets. The stuff are always happy to help and the location is just near a bus stop from which you can take a bus to the waterfalls. - we didn’t have hot water in the shower but it was okay because it was really hot outside -

The rooms are great, very comfortable and clean. It has a nice pool but when I was there it was dirty due to a party that happened the day before (and it wasn't cleaned despite we asked). It's located a few miles from the border.

Location is awesome. But we this hostel is not as promised. We stayed for 5 days and our toilet paper bin wasn't changed for the entire stay. It said in the door of the toilet that it was cleaned everyday, and if you needed any retouching you should text them. Everywhere on the hotel there are plates that say "free caipirinha everyday from 8:30". They call it caipirinha o'clock, this never happened. I texted the owner about this, to get a fair rating, maybe he was sick and couldn't do it? Well he chose to not answer. Due do this is decided to drop from 3 stars, to two. This maybe change however if an answer is to come. Our room was nice, we had the private room, and the outdoor is also nice.

We stayed a few weeks back and no major complaints. It seems like a shell of it’s former self though. It definitely needs some renovations. I guess it’s low season but the place was like a ghost town. Didn’t see another guest the 2nts we were there. It’s all self check in with no reception or staff around. We received a message with instructions but if staff are not going to be present they should remedy that and make an effort to be warm and welcoming with their WhatsApp messages. The place feels like it’s been given up on a bit. It did the deed though and location is pretty good with nice bars and restaurants close by. Zepelín bar, Samambaia and Patío (for a treat) across the road all recommended!
Gianni B — Google review
I would give this place a super high rating was it not for the fact that there is no reception and no one to ask about things. Me as well as the few other guests I met would have loved to be able to discuss how to get to the Iguaçu falls, if there were any nice restaurants around and so on. I for example arrived on a public holiday and wondered about what would be closed or open. Instead we were referred to a WhatsApp number and the answers there were very limited. I don’t know who I spoke to. Besides the above mentioned, the place was very nice. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean and bathrooms were always kept tidy. The AC in the dorm was great. There is a really nice outside area and a pool. The wifi is great. There is a fridge to keep groceries in and a kitchen if you want to cook. In the evenings a lot of restaurants opened around the main street just around the block. There was a huge supermarket just around the corner. There was a bar outside, but it was never open. I feel as if this place could be absolutely great, buzzing with people and with a really social atmosphere if someone administered the place better. There is a need for a reception, I cannot stress this enough. There is way it was during my visit, with almost no guests, it felt like a place whose glory days had passed. For a solo traveler, it was a social nightmare. I met zero people there and I left a day earlier because of that.

This hostel was a disappointment. We paid 55$ (275R$) per night for a private room and were shocked about the condition of the hostel & room. It certainly needs some renovation, cleaning … or more authentic website pics. What we didn’t like: - the private room & bathroom were both very dirty and overall in a very bad condition. Everything in the room looked run down. The bathroom had pubic hair around the toilet and the floors were filthy (which was not only unpleasant but a problem because you have no other storage options than the floor - The bathroom smelled like urine already before we even used anything, not bc of the plumping, it was just not cleaned probably. My towel felt on the bathroom floor after the first shower and it was completely stained and covered with hair after that - the room was TINY, just a little bigger than the bed, which by itself wouldn’t have been a big issue - but the pictures are very misleading - The pool was cloudy and a little green during our 4 days stay. We didn’t use it (this was also one of the reasons why we chose this hostel) - One staff member, who checked us in (curly hair - 01.01/20:00) was very unfriendly. He seemed to be annoyed with everything and everyone. Because of him we felt unwelcome during our stay and didn’t want to ask anything while he was working. (Pretty much one of the reasons to pick a hostel not an Airbnb) he just didn’t care. - Paying this amount per night and due to their website and Lonely Planet we definitely expected something special but only got the bare minimum What we liked: - location: bus one block away, nice food places around the corner, close to Argentina border - We specially appreciated the friendly staff members: Vici, Lina and the to guys with colored hair. - The caipirinha was tasty Overall: the pictures really don’t match the conditions we found today (01/2024). Maybe they were taken when they opened, but what you see is not what you get
Karolina H — Google review
Shameful treatment. My friend Aline Freitas was abandoned outside, left without basic service, and the hostel refused to take responsibility. Never staying here!
Greicy C — Google review
The window didn’t close properly and the mosquitoes were coming in and biting us. The room is not cleaned daily. It is not sound proof and very loud whenever people are walking at the second floor or there is music at bar. We ended up leaving before the end of the stay. Not sure why this place has a blue star in lonely planet. The vibe is cool and the bar makes nice caipirinha but i don’t recommend staying there.

It was an amazing experience. Specially swimming in the water falls . All the guides are very knowledgeable , friendly and a lot of fun . They took a great care of me while hiking , kayaking and when I was swimming in the waterfalls . I saw a few monkeys on my hikes . I would completely missed it if the guy doesn’t recognize the money calling . There are bugs so bring your bugs spray and water . Your shoes will get wet if you want to walk and swim in the waterfalls . make sure you come prepare .and you also have to paddle against the current on the way back . It was not that hard for me but it’s good to safe some energy for the paddle back . Strongly recommend and again thank you very much for such an awesome afternoon.

Super friendly guides, and just enough time and effort for each activity: hiking, kayaking, and swimming in the waterfall! The guides are very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna and were able to answer all our questions. The waterfall and river were completely empty except for our group. Very fun excursion and I’d definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see the local forests and rivers.

Attended this excursion while visiting Iguazu Falls. The whole team is great there! Big thanks to Lucas for giving us a great reception and at the end even calling us a cab since there was no Uber accepting our trip! Diego led us down the trail to the bank of the river to get on our kayaks and he was very well informed and knowledgeable. Once on the river we were taken to an amazing area where we could get into the running river and feel the cold water rushing past us. It was truly an amazing experience to kayak in and feel the water body of the iguazu falls! If you love adventure and water then this is perfect for you! Safety is the teams priority so that is no concern. Do not hesitate to book!

We had a guide who didn't speak Spanish very well, so we couldn't understand the history of several places. We were taken to an Arabic store, and it took us a while to shop because the crowd wouldn't let us see the products. It turned out the kids had left, leaving us alone in the store. It would have been better if they had told us where they were going. The girls at the store told us where they went, and we caught up with them. Also, that day, there was a forecast for rain, and this caused one of the stores to close, so they took us to a shopping mall. It would have been nice if they had organized everything better, if they could speak or understand Spanish and English. Everything else was very nice. Blue Park Foz is a remarkable waterpark that transforms the experience of visiting Foz do Iguaçu into a tropical paradise. With its stunning white-sand beach and an array of attractions, it caters to visitors of all ages. Families can enjoy thrilling waterslides, playful water-spout buckets, and a relaxing lazy river. The park features expansive swimming pools, an artificial river for leisurely floats, and even opportunities for sports fishing and kayaking.
(Translated by Google) An excellent outing to Foz do Iguaçu, with a well-equipped, clean infrastructure and a fantastic wave pool, which I initially thought would be boring, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dining options include snack bars, kiosks, and an air-conditioned restaurant. There's a sandy beach area, several restrooms, a changing room with showers, and lockers (fees apply depending on the size of the room). Kids will have a blast here.

(Translated by Google) The park is a good size and has attractions for all ages. I have a child and I can say: it's excellent for them, guaranteeing a full day of fun with water slides, water-spout buckets, a beach with artificial waves, and, of course, a lazy river for relaxing. The park offers good food options, all in a beautiful and Instagrammable setting. The prices and meal sizes are ok. On the other hand, we found good deals in the on-site stores (for example: sunglasses for R$60, in June 2025). As a parent, I give extra points for the thorough training of the water slide staff. There's one (a capsule-type slide) that's not even allowed to go down with wedding rings, and there's no way around it or any tricks. The staff member, very polite and patient, explains and repeats the reasons for the refusal, without giving in to any arguments, ensuring everyone's safety. I didn't use it, but there is a zipline in the park, for an additional fee. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I missed drinking fountains. I was at another park of this type, in Goiás, where there are several drinking fountains scattered around. There were none here. In comparison, the other park gets 5 stars.

The park's well-maintained facilities make it family-friendly, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.
In terms of nature, this was probably the best experience of my life! The walkway around the Devil’s Throat really lets you appreciate its power and noise. Prepare to get wet from the spray! Both the upper and lower trails are very well maintained and easy to complete with average fitness and mobility. If you only have time to complete one, then I’d recommend the lower trail. En route you’ll also see monkeys, amazing birds, and possibly a jaguar (if you’re very, very lucky). There are plenty of places for food & drink, plus toilets. The whole experience is very well managed.

First time visiting here. Words, like the many photos and videos I took, don't do it justice. Words like wow, grandeur, incredible, breathtaking, only begin to highlight the vastness and the power displayed. Very organized by the administration, where five bus stops each begin different viewpoints. Frequency of busses are great. Paths and many scenic views are well maintained. Many people are there throughout the hours of operation. Large parking area. Cars also park outside the entrance for free, with an added < 1 km walk. Due to its immensity, prepare to walk! We walked along all the paths that we saw, and spent about 6 hours walking. Even with large crowds, it didn't distract from the beauty or the photo-ability. Parking was about US $11 per day. We bought a two-day pass for about $61. A one-day pass would have cost about $40.

Parque das Aves is a 5-hectare forested zoo park located near the entrance to Parque Nacional do Iguacu. It houses over 800 species of birds, including red ibis, bare-throated bellbird, and flamingos. The birds live in 8m-high aviaries constructed within the forest, providing an immersive experience for visitors.
I really enjoyed this bird sanctuary!! Spent about 2 hours walking slowly. They had names of the different types of birds here. I wished they had more descriptions about them. Some of the birds were pretty close to visitors. The Macau had beautiful colors and a bigger place for them to fly than some of the other birds. There were signs that provided a very brief story of the creators of this park at the end of the trail. The souvenirs here are wayyy affordable than the Iguazu National Park (they're crazy mark up).

A beautiful and meaningful place to visit! Parque das Aves is an amazing park, full of exotic birds that have been rescued from poachers and given a safe, natural home. The enclosures are spacious and beautifully designed, allowing visitors to get close to the animals while respecting their wellbeing. Besides the incredible variety of birds, there are also turtles, butterflies, and lush tropical vegetation that make the experience even more special. Everything is well organized and nicely compartmented, creating a peaceful and educational visit. A must-see for anyone who loves nature and wants to support wildlife conservation!

Fantastic sanctuary and breeding center for endangered species. Extremely informative; English translations were available. Loved how much space the birds had; the amount of beautiful trees and plants is so wonderful. Also, there is a bistro and a restaurant in the park.Had a good artisan beer. Very clean bathrooms. I enjoyed my visit tremendously.
Elvier Y — Google review
We visited Parque das Aves, a beautiful bird sanctuary founded in the 1990s and still run by the same family. The park is made up of several large, natural-style aviaries, allowing you to walk inside and see the birds up close in spacious, forest-like environments. One interesting story we learned: when the first flamingos arrived, there were about 115 of them, but jaguars from the surrounding forest used to enter at night, and only around ten survived. Today, the flamingos live in a protected area that keeps them safe, and the park has taken strong measures to prevent similar incidents. Inside the aviaries, you can see an incredible variety of species, including toucans, macaws, parrots, owls, eagles, butterflies, and even hummingbirds. The macaws and other parrots are especially memorable — extremely social and very loud, constantly “talking” to one another with unique calls. We enjoyed the 1.5 hours we spent here. It’s a peaceful and educational experience, and a wonderful way to appreciate the region’s birdlife up close. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Foz do Iguaçu.
Alper Y — Google review
With an hour to kill before we were able to enter the Foz, we strolled across the street to the Parque. It *far* exceeded our expectations. We could easily have spent at least another hour or two there. Beautiful birds and other animals, highly educational, with a conservation and rescue ethic. Great escape from the heat of the sun, and though the number of visitors did make it feel a bit crowded, it's really a well designed and manged park experience.
Jason L — Google review
What a wonderful surprise! Parque das Aves far exceeded our expectations a true paradise for bird lovers and anyone who appreciates nature. The immersive aviaries let you get remarkably close to the birds, the paths are easy to follow, and the entire park is beautifully cared for. After spending the morning at the magnificent Iguaçu Falls, ending the day here was the perfect complement.

Our tour guide suggests 2 hours. We enjoyed it so much that we could easily stay for half a day. The birds are exotic, beautiful and we'll take care of. The flora is unique and colorful. The cafe is spacious with good menu. It is apparent the park staff has taken good care of the park, the bite-size educational signage and many other small things make the visit enjoyable. Don't miss this park when you visit the Iguazu falls park right across the road.

While visiting Foz do Iguaçu to see the famous waterfalls, I took the opportunity to join a guided tour of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant — and it far exceeded my expectations. Known as one of the largest hydroelectric plants in the world, Itaipu is impressive not only for its scale but also for its engineering and historical significance. I chose the full guided tour, which lasted about two hours and included access to the main facilities, turbines, control rooms, and inner workings of the dam. The tour was extremely informative, with simultaneous translation into English, making it accessible and engaging for international visitors. It’s a must-do experience for anyone visiting the region — highly recommended.

The Itaipu Especial tour was fantastic! Mr. Ilio was great and shared lots of fun facts along the way. We were a bit lost when we first arrived at the reception, but soon someone showed up and explained how the boarding would work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dam is colossal and being able to visit both the exterior and interior was amazing. We definitely recommend it. The only drawback is having fossil fueled vehicles to transport the guests.

An engineering masterpiece! The Itaipú Dam harnesses the power of the Paraná River to supply clean energy to both Paraguay and Brazil. Standing beside it, you feel the force of nature and human innovation working together - the size, the sound, and the scale are breathtaking. Guided tours show the massive turbines, panoramic viewpoints, and fascinating eco-projects. Awesome Facts: 🌍 Jointly run by Paraguay and Brazil. ⚙️ Generates about 14,000 MW, powering most of Paraguay. 🧱 196 m high and 8 km long - one of the world’s largest dams. 💧 Its name “Itaipú” means “singing stone” in Guaraní. 🌿 Has produced more electricity than any other hydro plant on Earth.

Nature & Parks
Devil's Throat is a giant, U-shaped cascade located in Iguaçu National Park. Visitors can reach it by walking along a 1.1km suspended walkway that crosses the tranquil Rio Iguazu. The lookout platform offers a breathtaking view of this powerful and concentrated torrent of water, creating a deafening cascade that plunges into an invisible destination. The mist from the falls forms a smoke-like plume visible several kilometers away, adding to the majestic and awe-inspiring experience.
There is a real anticipation when you walk quite a long way over the water to this attraction. The walkway is well constructed and well wide enough for people to pass by each other. And it's well worth the walk - a very impressive roaring torrent of angry water flows over the falls.
Timbovilla 7 — Google review
Devil's Throat is best part of the Iguazu waterfall on the Brazil side. At this place the Iguazu River crashes down creating a waterfall of 150 meter width and 82 meter in height. There is a path around the waterfall to view it from down and a lift to go the upper Observation deck. We stayed at a hotel close to the waterfall and got the opportunity to visit it in the morning and evening. The best view was in the sunny morning when we could see rainbow from every angle. Most of the tourists visit it as group tour. The place gets very crowded during the day. But it's worth every effort to visit the waterfall.
Soudamini M — Google review
This is the highlight of the Argentine side of the falls and we were super lucky to see it without a single other person or crowd. The reason is that it was rainy and at the end of the day but it was a pleasure to have this viewing platform all to ourselves. The falls are incredible and it is like you are just at the edge of a water cliff - very dramatic and not to be missed.

Breathtaking and speechless sums it up.The park is very well kept. The crowds can be massive at the beginning of the day, though our Easter weekend may have attracted more than normal share. If you stay at the only hotel in the park, it provides a window to hike to La Gargantua El Diablo before the first hordes. Start out before 8am. If not you'll still be awed. There is nothing else like this place. The rest of the hikes are spectacular, Sendre Macuco excepting, that wasn't great, not bad either.

Buddhist temple
Sights & Landmarks

Templo Budista Chen Tien is a serene and beautiful Buddhist temple that offers a peaceful escape with panoramic city views. Visitors can explore the temple grounds, admire the 120+ statues, and take in the tranquil ambiance free of charge. The temple provides a calm space for reflection and relaxation, making it an ideal spot to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
After visiting the Itaipu Dam, we went to the Buddhist Temple in Foz do Iguaçu, located on a gentle hill between the city and the dam. The area felt peaceful and quiet, a welcome contrast to the grand scale of Itaipu. The temple itself is small but filled with a calming atmosphere and beautiful views of the surroundings. Inside, we saw both Indian-influenced and East Asian Buddhist figures, along with traditional statues of Buddha and an ongoing chanting prayer that filled the temple with a serene sound. The combination of styles and the simplicity of the place made it feel very spiritual and grounding. The road up the hill passed through local neighborhoods, with people walking and chatting along the streets — it gave us a glimpse of everyday life in the city. Uber worked perfectly for the trip; we took one from the dam to the temple and later back to our hotel without any issues.
Alper Y — Google review
It's a very peaceful place, the gardens are beautiful and the statues as well. As everything in this city, there were not many information about the place itself. I thought I would find a meditation hall inside the building but there wasn't one.
Mariana S — Google review
I visited this Buddhist temple with high hopes, expecting a tranquil and well-tended space for reflection. While the atmosphere still carried a sense of calm, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. The garden, though once clearly beautiful, now seemed somewhat neglected, with signs of abandonment in parts. Many of the statues—central to the experience—were in need of repair, which made the overall impression feel out of harmony with the values often associated with Buddhism: care, mindfulness, and respect for the sacred. I understand that maintaining such places can be challenging, and I deeply respect the cultural and spiritual importance of the site. I simply hope that in time, some restoration and attention will return it to its full potential. The temple still offers a moment of pause, but it could offer so much more with a little more care.
Ulf D — Google review
First time visiting a Buddhist temple ever. Quite impressive architecture. No need to cover shoulders and knees here but did it out of respect. Great place for peace and quiet.
Jesus C — Google review
A great place to disconnect from your busy life. I'm not religious, but I found the park extremely peaceful and inviting to walk through and appreciate in my own way. There are even some small informational signs in some areas, which taught me lots of interesting facts. However, the signs are unfortunately only in Portuguese!

Great place to reflect and just be silent. Beautiful scenery and lovely statues. There's a view of the river and both bridges. 🌞Go on a sunny day and preferably on the afternoon.

Mesquita de Foz do Iguaçu Central, established in 1983, is a traditional mosque with a distinctive dome and intricate Arabesque designs. Visitors can explore the oval prayer room and admire the beautiful architecture. While it's open to all, there are dress code requirements for women, including covering legs and wearing a headscarf provided at the entrance. The mosque is open for five daily prayers and offers an enlightening cultural experience.
Impressive and wonderful mosque in Foz Iguazu. The employees were very polite and articulate. I highly recommend visiting this place to gain a better and in-depth understanding of Islam.
Yasser A — Google review
They give you a tour and some history of the large mosque. Shops nearby with sweets and Arabic things to buy.
Ian S — Google review
Beautiful structure however tourists can no longer visit the mosque on account of the pandemic.
Chris B — Google review
This place is nice, you do not need to buy tickets to get in but you can see just around the Mosque.
Joao P — Google review
the “manager” lady which has no scarf on her hair tried to teach me islam and didn’t the let my wife to enter with me to pray because she is a christian. It is a big shame for muslim community. I complain to Allah for who didn’t let my wife to enter to mosque with me. Is this how you make people get interested with islam? Dear imam of the mosque, shame on you too to let these things happen in your mosque.
Yasin P — Google review
Great place. Friendly staff.
Ahmad H — Google review
Beautiful place. If you are a woman, should go with a long skirt or trousers.
Henrique M — Google review
Nice mosque l. You have to cover your legs as a woman if you want to enter the mosque. A head cover known as an hijabi if i am not mistaken would be worn for you before you can enter. Its not so interesting because there was nobody to explain anything to you, you basically just go inside to see and take pictures if you are interested. It was part of the city tour I bought

Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
The International Friendship Bridge is a 1,812-ft.-long arch bridge with a pedestrian path that connects the cities of Foz do Iguacu in Brazil and Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. It symbolizes the union between the two countries and was constructed during the 1950s and 1960s over the Parana River. The bridge links Ciudad del Este to Foz do Iguazu and also shares a border with Puerto Iguazu in Argentina.
So fun to walk from one country to the next, not a far distance and wow! What an experience! I wouldn’t recommend going at night and not for inexperienced travelers.
Dana S — Google review
Walked to Paraguay from Brazil. If you're actually going to stay in Paraguay (and not merely shop there for a day), then be sure to get an exit stamp in your passport from the Brazil side of the bridge (Paraguay immigration will make you go back to Brazil if you don't have the exit stamp). Good views of the border river (Parana) from the bridge!
David G — Google review
I love the sunset and the show in the international friendship bridge 😁 The architecture is marvelous as well. It was a pleasant experience.
Agatha H — Google review
The bridge itself is nice but vehicular traffic was very bad going to Ciudad del Este. We crossed in a bus around 10AM on Thursday. Returning to Brazil by bus, the traffic was better.
Rick R — Google review
It got me to Paraguay and back. Use the right side of the bridge each way walking over. Locals don’t need to stop at immigration on either side but if you’re not local stop and get your Brazil exit stamp and Paraguay entry stamp, and the opposite in return. Brazil immigration was a little hard to find one booth serves both sides, Paraguay has a building on each side.
Collin — Google review
Most disgusting border crossing I’ve ever seen. Dirty, noisy, stinking and smelly. DISGUSTING !
JC C — Google review
I took an Uber to the bridge which cost me £3. I walked across the bridge with no problem. I’m a single middle-aged female on my own and no one troubled me. I did a little shopping and I came back again. I didn’t even make a stop at immigration nobody seemed interested. No problem. I got a cold beer near the bridge and I ordered an Uber back to my hotel, which cost me £2. I was advised to use the buses I didn’t get on with that because I couldn’t figure out which bus or how to pay
Maria B — Google review
The view from the bridge is very nice. But the bridge is in a very rough shape. It’s super dirty and it looks like it’s not being maintained at all.

Big ferris wheel near three frontiers. Great view of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Great fun.

Amazing experience. You can see really far. Cars are comfortable. You can go around as many times as you want. The team is very well prepared to assist you and very polite. Downside: access by car or on foot is still confusing. Advice: I think that you by online it is cheaper on their official website.

Bodies of Water
Iguazu Falls, located at the convergence of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, is a breathtaking natural wonder that must be experienced in person. The falls are situated on the border between Brazil and Argentina, each country boasting its own National Park dedicated to this magnificent site. The name "Iguassu" originates from the Guarani language and translates to "large water."
Amazing waterfalls. The boat ride that can be taken from the Argentina side, is a must when visiting this place. Highly recommend visit. The trekking trails in the park are also quite good. But be careful as the weather can change very quickly. So carry an umbrella.
Anudeep R — Google review
Definitely worth the hype! 100% recommend to visit the Argentine side on the first day (to “feel” it) and then visit the Brazilian side the next day (for the panoramic view).

Iguazu falls in Argentina side If compare with Brazil side You can see more animals here. Many routes for exploring that I like Devil throat and lower parts
Preaw F — Google review
Seeing Iguazu Falls for the first time was one of those moments that burns into your soul forever. As I stood there, the roar of the water pounding below, mist rising into the sky like a living spirit - I literally stopped breathing for a moment. It was so overwhelming, so breathtaking, that time just froze.
Tugba A — Google review
Cataratas del Iguazú are absolutely breathtaking. The sheer power of the falls, surrounded by lush rainforest and wildlife, makes the experience unforgettable. Both the Argentine and Brazilian sides offer stunning views, but the Garganta del Diablo is the true highlight. Well-organized trails, great photo spots, and a sense of awe at every turn—an essential destination.
Dani B — Google review
One of the most beautiful and impressive places I have ever seen! It’s just magnificent! A shame I only had the chance to visit it for a few hours, and stayed at the Brazilian side. The walk could take you about 1-2 hours depending on your pace, photos, souvenirs shopping, etc.

Family oriented place. Great for kids. Life guards in every pool, very safe. Fast food and salads as option to eat. Shop with bathing suits and sunblock, more expensive than a regular store.
Rejane T — Google review
Place is super dirty and gross. Manager will harass you nonstop just because I was wearying a necklace with a lock that could not be removed.
Bob L — Google review
Very strict and fun stopping pool attendants: if the kid is slightly under 100cm, he can't go (even when accompanied by parents), some slides were closed without reason. Very poor experience.
Dino W — Google review
Small park with a couple fun pools! There's not a variety to eat at the park, but you can leave the park to eat anywhere else and return later, which is nice since you can't enter with food or drink.
Bruno L — Google review
Fun and exciting Acqua Park with lots of toboggans. Just be careful in big latin holidays since it can get very crowded otherwise is nice.
Rodrigo R — Google review
The location couldn't be more perfect . Right across the street from the hotel (Wish golf resort complex) were we are staying. The resort is clean , they have lockers where you can place your valuables...no drinks or food allowed but the little food shop has all the necessary and it's very reasonably priced. Lots of shaded areas.. My kids (8 & 12) had lots of fun.. they also cater for toddlers...kids under 1,20 m do not pay.
Anna D — Google review
it has two fast slides which you can get a bit of a buzz from, generally though it is too expensive for what it is (70r) only one of the slides working at a time. slides stopped at 17.45, not 19.00. you can buy beers inside which is good. wasn't too busy on a monday.

It's an ok water park or pool area per se, I liked that there wasn't a lot of people and that there were many pools, but only one had a roof which is still better than no roof. By the end of the day though, decided to slide down those water slides and it went well the first 3 times, though when I did it again on the yellow one, I got myself all scratched, I don't know what the heck it was but better watch out for that. It scratched my legs, shoulder and part of my back. This is why I'm giving it two stars.
