Nestled in the heart of Irving, Via Real Restaurant has been a beloved dining destination since the mid-1980s. Under the ownership of Fran Lively, who stepped in to save it from closure, this charming eatery showcases a stunning Santa Fe-inspired ambiance that perfectly complements its menu filled with mouthwatering Southwestern and Tex-Mex dishes.
I had the pleasure of a business diner at via real. Our host for the evening recommended an off menu item - the sea bass. The plate was fantastic, the potatoes in the pineapple was novel and brought sweetness to the dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. Will be my go to next time for certain.

Great place to dine! We went with family to celebrate 2 birthdays & an anniversary. The food was amazing with excellent service. Definitely a Southwestern feel & lovely setting. The co-owner of the restaurant stopped and introduced himself and even told us about the history of the restaurant. The ambience & atmosphere was fantastic & they even provided a free photo of us to take home. We really enjoyed ourselves & highly recommend. What a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely return.

Excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was really good and the food was amazing. The red oak steak was really something else. If you eat steak, I would encourage you to try this house special. We also enjoyed some appetizers and desserts. The desserts were extremely delicious and decadent. Highly recommend.

One amazing experience!!! Food was beyond my expectations and the service provided was so great. Honestly one of the best meals ever had. I will definitely come back soon to try the rest of the menu

Had a lovely dinner with my daughter - great customer service. We felt like VIP. The food was amazing. The waiter and chef very attentive to our gluten allergy. Can't wait to go back.

We were stuck in dalls due a missed flight and decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here last night and it did not disappoint. Our server Andrea was amazing and really made us feel special, with her conversations, recommendations and the personalized photo and dessert. All the staff was great and so was the ambiance. Thank you!

We have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good. The ambiance is very warm and comfortable. The service is excellent. We feel blessed to have this as our local restaurant. We highly recommend the Sunday brunch. I also recommend whatever the specials are because the chef has made the choice of what is fresh and really given thought as to how to cook it.

What can I say?!? Went here as it was near by and good reviews. I’ve been in hospitality for most of my life, and had one of the greatest dining experiences here tonight. Literally asking the valet Gus, to see if there was any availability, which he was so personable and welcoming, he told us there was space available at the bar. The GM, Matt welcomed us inside and the hostesses sat us in the bar. Matt introduced us to Jimmy the bar manager and the bar staff, and they took fantastic care of us. The salsa was fresh and balanced with flavor and light heat. Entrees were executed perfectly with layers of flavor and not over the top. Service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. Ambiance was near perfect with elegant lighting, space between the tables, the smell of New Mexico when you walk in, and noise level was minimum. Highly recommend Via Real. We’ll be back.

Argentinian restaurant
Latin American restaurant
Restaurant
Empa Mundo, also known as World of Empanadas, is a casual counter-service restaurant in Irving that has been serving up delicious empanadas since 2010. Owned and operated by Argentinian expat Raul Gordon, this eatery offers a concise menu featuring 13 empanada options with flavors ranging from classic Latin American to American-influenced recipes like cheesesteak and Texas brisket.
This is the best empanada place in Texas. The customer service is excellent. The empanadas are delicious and savory every bite. Anytime that we have visitors come to DFW, we take them to this place and they always want more. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but my favorite is the brisket and the chicken flavored one. For dessert, you cannot forget to get a guava flavored one.
Dr. F — Google review
I wanted to like this place so bad but sadly I won't be back. I'll start with the good. Service friendly & fast. Moving on.... sewage scent when you first walk in. I thought I'd like it based on the review score but it was just ok to me. I'm not their target audience as Keith Lee says. Lol And based on the reviews, I'm sure they'll continue to have plenty of business. I however, wish I could've gotten my money back honestly. The French fries were not salted but still oddly very bland. Even without salt typically French fries have a fried potato taste. These didn't. They were tasteless. The strawberry cheesecake emp had an slight fishy taste. I don't know if that's because they use the same grease as everything else but it just tasted odd. I didn't like the alfajor or pineapple cookies ...too dry and hard for my liking and the Texas twinkie and brisket ones were just ok. She confused my Texas twinkie for the strawberry cheesecake so there was powdered sugar on it and nothing on the actual strawberry cheesecake one. I feel like they charge too much for what you get but most places have to do that these days because of inflation so I get it but twenty bucks for four of these that I would consider snack size is just too much to me.

The food here is an absolute must try if you live in Dallas, and if you're lucky enough to have a long layover while you're traveling through town, you have to make this a stop. it seems like such a small, out of the way place, but there is love in this food. I am so lucky to live as close to the shop as I do. I come in all the time and it's been my mission to try everything on the menu at least once. I swear I get a new favorite almost every time I go in. Mimi is absolutely wonderful, she'll remember your name and everything about you and loves to take the time to come out and chat in between orders if she can.

Amazing service. The lady working was so kind and helpful. It's always great to shares laughs at a great business like this. Incredible food and each empanada is worth trying. I can't recommend this place enough

Insanely good. Best I’ve ever had. The guava cheese for dessert was 💯 and the chimichurri sauce is a must for the savory empanadas.
Rose — Google review
I love this place. It hasn’t changed one bit in the last 10 yrs I’ve been going here. The empanadas are authentic and so is their chimichurri. My favorites are the Criollo and the Chipotle chicken.
Varun S — Google review
Fantastic food destination! A must go! Wonderful made empanadas, fresh ingredients, crispy exterior, yummy! Super organized menu and love the wipeable pencil concept.
Thelma G — Google review
I went in there with great expectations. Needless to say they were shot down! The empanadas cost was 4.89 for one and it was very small and fries had no seasoning on them at all. One time customer that’s it!

Hugo's Invitados is a must-visit for those seeking a sophisticated and delicious Hispanic dining experience. This modern restaurant boasts an impressive menu, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out. The steak is a standout, cooked to perfection every time, and my partner raves about the tamahawk pork chops. The wine selection is extensive and well-curated, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. A small detail that elevates the experience is the warm salsa – a delightful touch that speaks to the restaurant's attention to detail. While Hugo's Invitados is certainly a splurge-worthy destination, the quality of the food, drinks, and service make it worth every penny. It's the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, making it an ideal choice for a memorable first date or a recurring favorite for couples seeking a consistently excellent dining experience. Highly recommend!

Food was decent.. my poached eggs along with everything included was an odd combination of flavors… the sweet salad dressing along with eggs and potatoes were a little funky for my preference Everyone else enjoyed their meals but I’m speaking on behalf of my experience The chips and salsa were good The waitress struggled to keep up with our needs and I had to walk to her to let her know we were ready to pay

Wow! I was blown away by the food here. The Barbacoa was to die for. The green and red salsa was simply delicious. For the main coarse, the care asada was just hit a grand slam with my taste buds. My business colleague was equally amazed by the excellent sustenance before him. Hugo, keep doing what you do!

Love this place. Food is always fantastic. It can be pricey but the food, in my opinion, is delicious. Very flavorful and fresh. Try their bowl with an egg, yum!

Delicious & awesome Service. I came to visit from NJ and take my sister out for her birthday. I had a strawberry lemon drop that was amazing & she had a blue berry mocktale. From appetizers to the meal 10/10 perfect portions, flavor was not too spicey but fun filled. Definitely recommended . S/O to Carlos - really appreciate the hospitality

Talk about a swank little place! Everything about the decoration and vibe speaks to me and sold me on this place. Customer service was great - especially for a big party of 12. If you're not too worried about heat, they had their own DJ playing jams outside. The food was also not to disappoint. Yes I know... a little on the $$$ side, but the quality and flavor surely met expectations. Even the kids breakfast tacos came with 2 large tacos. If you're in the hood and wanting to show off to your date or just want to enjoy a fun brunch spot with your friends and ok to go a little over budget - this is the place.

The restaurant is known for its traditional sushi recipes, excellent sandwiches, yummy steaks, and refreshing salads that capture the essence of Pacific Northwest flavors. Located at the Water Street development on Lake Carolyn, the restaurant provides a beautiful waterside patio with stunning views.
So glad we came here for dinner. Service was top notch! The food is beautiful and the flavors are amazing and I would say fairly original. That salmon dip was an unexpectedly amazing experience. Definitely give it a try. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor, so it's a good option for business, dates, or celebrations. There is plenty of variation in seating arrangements and styles, including outdoor seating. Check it out!

I always love coming back to this place, it never disappoints. The seafood is consistently fresh and perfectly prepared, with each dish showcasing authentic flavors. Love the Coleslaw and Salads. Their cocktails are equally impressive. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the view. Dining here with the water as your backdrop makes every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you’re celebrating something or just want a memorable night out with friends this place delivers every time.

Elegant Setting, Delicious Food, and Great Service We recently had a wonderful lunch at Pacific Table in Plano, and everything about the experience was fantastic. We were a group of six — and were seated at a beautiful table by the window with views overlooking the water, which really elevated the whole dining experience! The setting is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a special lunch or a nice gathering with friends and family. We originally planned to order entrees, however, we ended up enjoying so many of the rolls and small plates that we never made it to the main course! — except for one delicious steak entrée for my nephew. Nearly every roll we tried was outstanding, which is why we kept ordering more. The rock shrimp was also a standout — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Service was top-notch throughout our visit. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome without ever rushing us. My brother is an occasional regular here, and now I can see why — the food, service, and ambiance all make it worth returning to. If you’re looking for a place that offers refined flavors, a relaxing atmosphere, and scenic views, Pacific Table is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to go back!

Great seafood options ,beautiful decor and excellent lake view. There are very limited restaurants around DFW where you could get good seafood options. Pacific table was one of the best seafood restaurants for me. All the seafood that we had ,were amazing and beautifully cooked. Spicy rock shrimp with rice was excellent. Shrimp were succulent and perfectly crispy. Loved the lobster roll, lobster quality was good. Pan fried fish was beautifully done, fish was perfectly well done. Crispy on the outside yet soft inside. Lot of options for sides. Even the sautéed broccolini tasted great and paired really well with the fish. Cocktails were good. Service was excellent. Only disappointment was the chicken tenders which we ordered for take away. Batter was too salty to a point where my kid had to get rid of the crispy batter and just eat the chicken. But that’s on us, we anyway didn’t expect the chicken tenders to be best at a seafood place.
Tanmay B — Google review
I was very pleased with my experience here. We received great service and the food was better than I expected. The hit at the table was the fried oysters. I enjoyed the lettuce wraps and the risotto is good too. I don’t think my friends liked the drinks so maybe skip the cocktails. The atmosphere is perfect on a good weather day. We sat on the patio and it was so relaxing.
Charity C — Google review
Very delicious seafood. We came during Oyster Fest and got raw oysters and Rockefeller oysters for appetizers. The raw oysters were nice and clean tasting and the cocktail sauce was very good too. The Rockefeller oysters were some of the best cooked oysters we have ever had. For the entree I got the Trout Almondine and it was very good and the mashed potatoes were delicious and exceeded my expectations. While we waited we were able to sit on couches outside by the water and had the option to be served drinks and appetizers. There was also excellent live music for the outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating once our wait was over, while was around half an hour, because of the heat. Inside was very loud and busy and hard to hear or server sometimes. If the weather was better we would have enjoyed the relaxing vibe of eating outside with the music and the view of the water. For oyster fest we also got a free painted oyster shell. The painter was painting them right outside the restaurant and they were very well painted.
Christopher S — Google review
Upscale Pacific Northwest sushi, steak and seafood restaurant. Right on the canal with outdoor patio, interior dining, bar and private area as well. The atmosphere and ambiance is unmatched. This is complimented by their impeccably trained staff. Many times the true measure of an establishment is how they handle a potential problem. Perfection is unattainable so things are going to happen and in our case they took a very minor issue and turned it into a memorable experience. Try the potato crusted halibut, get the lychee cocktail and indulge in the brown cake dessert. Then go for a relaxing walk along the canals and feel as though you just spent the evening in Venice or Spain. This is a destination spot. If you're anywhere close and you miss it, you just don't value exceptional experiences.
Architype — Google review
This is by far the best veggie burger I’ve ever had! The base is made with sushi rice and pecans, and it’s anything but dry, full of flavor and perfectly balanced for vegans. The pineapple dressing adds just the right touch of sweetness and tang to make your taste buds come alive. I substituted the fries for their quinoa side, and oh boy, it was amazing! The quinoa is mixed with chickpeas, avocado, grilled zucchini, dried fruit, and a light vinaigrette. Every bite was fresh and satisfying. The staff was also incredibly accommodating with my requests. I don’t like raw onions or cheese, and they made sure to remove them from both the quinoa and the burger without missing a beat. Their attention to detail really stood out. A fun moment during my visit: my order was actually taken by the manager, who was so well dressed I thought he was one of the high-end guests at first! It turns out he jumped in to help so I wouldn’t have to wait, something you don’t see very often. Later, my server took over and was equally attentive. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it a place where you can dress casually and still feel right at home. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and ladies, each table has a hook for your purse, which is such a thoughtful touch! The only minor thing for me was the music, it was a little loud for my taste, but I tend to prefer quieter spaces. Most people will likely find it just right. Overall, an excellent dining experience! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the Irving area.

Wow. Just wow! Hands down the best Mexican and American food I’ve had in years — no exaggeration. I can confidently say it’s the best Mexican food in the Dallas area. We went for lunch and ordered several dishes from the menu. Everything was perfect — fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The quality and taste here surpass any other restaurant in Dallas. Highlights from our meal: • Low & Slow Chicken over Rice – My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. • Margarita Flatbread – So tasty and scrumptious! The portion size is huge — definitely sharable. • Whiskey Bread Pudding – Rich, moist, not overly sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth good. • Onion Rings – Crispy, golden, and a must-try. If you’re in the area and love great food, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Went on a date with my husband. Very nice atmosphere. It’s the sister chain of Haywire in Plano. Our server was amazing, we did get there before closing but never did anyone make us feel rushed and the server always took her time with us. She was awesome. She explained the menu explained all the options. What was the best on the menu and very thorough she knew what she was talking about food was 10 out of 10 that drinks were 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 definitely would be back.

Had a business dinner at the Ranch with a couple colleagues. First time the Ranch. Very big steakhouse. Lots of room inside and outside. We had to wait only a couple of minutes at 6pm on a Monday night. We sat outside which was nice but was disappointed with the shaggy artificial turf. I had their mixed bowl topped with steak. The steak was really chewy and I didn’t enjoy the bowl either as it was very dressed up. Not worth the price.

What an incredible representation of Dallas with elevated comfort food with a focus on Texas-style plates and steaks. This is a home-run of an operation. The western decor was prominently featured throughout the facility. Multiple dining rooms and space for private dining groups. It was clear that they set and maintain high standards here. Everyone on the staff was professional and hospitable. When in Dallas, this spot should be on your list.

This place is absolutely fantastic. This is my third visit and I've tried something different each time. Their menu is well thought out with a variety of savory and hearty options to choose from. I had the steak on my first visit and they got that medium rare right. The steak was juicy, tender, flavorful and fresh. The redfish came highly recommended from the server on my second visit and it was on point. The generous portion of crab meat and shrimp were plenty. The chicken fried steak was another favorite on my third visit. It was lightly breaded and served with fresh green beans and mash potatoes. That jalapeno cream gravy hit home though. This place is lively, fun and the service is always impeccable. I am looking forward to returning.

Every time I visit Dallas, I try to stop for lunch or dinner at The Ranch. My go-to favorite used to be the Cadillac Burger, but it was taken off the menu a while ago. These days, I usually order the American Burger with a side of mac and cheese. The restaurant is spacious, but I recommend making a reservation for dinner or weekend brunch. The chocolate chipotle cake is still good, though I miss when it had a stronger chipotle kick in the aftertaste.

Go here. I did and loved it. A friend of mine was here prior so we went on his recommendation. Advice = reservations. We didn’t but we’re lucky enough to ask about the outdoor seating which was quicker and was fine. Inside was beautiful. I got my usual NY Strip and it was great. I added the garlic and a type of pepper to my steak and it added a nice touch of just a little heat. Added on grilled 🍤 that were great. The tallow fries were ok. My friend got the pork belly for an appetizer for us and they were good. He loved his ribs and salad. Definitely a place to bring a planned group. What happened, this place used to be pretty good. We went for my daughter's birthday and wished we never went. Took over an hour to get our food for the four of us and we kept seeing people being seated and then leaving so we finally asked and the waiter went to go check. Magically the food was ready. But there was a problem. The two steaks were cold and so was the chicken. I guess the waiter forgot it or something. So we told the waiter and he went to i guess a lady mgr. She offered to make new ones but we did not have the time to wait any longer. Then she offered some kinda dessert and we declined. They ended up comping one steak and we paid for the rest. We asked for a to go box. I figured since I was paying for it I might as well take it home for our dog. What a disappointment.

Andalous Mediterranean Grill is a casual restaurant which serves up a variety of Mediterranean dishes. They have an extensive menu which includes appetizers, dips, salads, falafel, pitas, sandwiches, kabobs, beef, lamb, chicken and more. They also have a pet-friendly patio for Fido to enjoy his meal with you. The couscous salad was my favorite dish and the pita was delicious as well.
The lamb dishes at Andalous are a standout. The tender and juicy lamb, infused with aromatic spices, is a true delight. The accompanying sides, such as the fluffy rice and crisp pita bread, complement the main course perfectly. While the food is generally delicious, there have been occasional instances where the quality has been inconsistent.

Didn't have a single star. We went there yesterday to enjoy our buffet, thinking the cost is 16.99$ per person on weekdays like advertised on some instagram reels. When we asked the receptionist whether we need to pay upfront, she told we can do it later. There is no display which shows the cost of buffet anywhere around. Once we started filling our plates, the dishes were placed in such a way that we can reach only one of them, when we asked whether we can come over the other side to reach the far dishes, the staff were like NO. When we said we want to try them they would just swap with the nearer ones, replacing the near ones to far from reach. I don't understand whether they want us to have only one of them. Some dishes were already empty like the samosas. When asked they were not refilled and said we're done for the day. How come, we paid for everything right. When we were about to sit down and eat, the staff member aks us to pay first. To my surprise the price was 29$ for one person including taxes. When asked she mentioned it's special buffet for Ramadan which we weren't aware of at all. No display of buffet price or change in price when we entered and asked. The price changed suddenly when we filled our plates and set to eat. With no choice left we spent double the amount for such a distasteful food which we didn't like at all. And the dessert part it's one Baklava for one person🙄. Why did we even come to this restaurant at all. We regret it a lot now. There are many better options out there. Please don't waste your time and money to set to eat at this cafeteria style buffet place.

Between the 3 of us we had falafel, spinach hummus, couscous, tabouleh, Andalou' chicken, gyro, chicken shwarma, baklava, rice, potatoes. Everything was so full of flavor and fresh. Absolutely the best spinach hummus I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Vila Brazil in Irving is a delightful Brazilian bar and steakhouse that captures the essence of churrascaria dining. This inviting eatery offers an impressive selection of premium grilled meats, including garlic picanha, flap steak, pork loin, and top sirloin, all served directly from the roasting pit to your plate. The vibrant salad bar complements these succulent cuts with a variety of toppings and ingredients.
The inviting ambiance truly made for a memorable experience. Exceptional service from the waitstaff elevated the dining experience. A friendly atmosphere creates a welcoming space for all. It's wonderful to encounter such dedication to customer satisfaction. Such positive qualities make a place truly special. The delightful food selection offered a range of tempting choices. Each dish was prepared with care and presented beautifully. Fresh ingredients enhanced the flavors, creating a truly satisfying experience. The variety ensured there was something to please every palate. It was a meal to remember fondly.

The place is ok Is not BYOB as one of their main competitor around the corner. They charge you $20 per bottle of your own beer or alcohol. Parking lot at 2 pm almost impossible. The menu is ok, bar is ok, price is a bit pricey.

Stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The lunch buffett and all you can eat Churrasco steak offerings were very affordable, offering plenty of variety and great value for the quality of food. Service was fast and efficient, which made it easy to enjoy a full meal even on a tighter schedule. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. From the moment we walked in to the last bite, everything felt well taken care of. If you’re looking for a Brazilian steakhouse that delivers flavorful food, quick service, and a friendly environment without breaking the bank, this spot is an excellent choice. Great lunch value, fast service, and outstanding hospitality.

This review is going to take a min so just bare with me! We will start with the food, the buffet section was very disappointing!!! The hot section was not hot and the food was not completely cooked. They only had at most five kinds of meats to pick from so you had to eat what was offered. I must say that two of the meats were very good but the other three were not up to the name of the restaurant. Are you still with me because here comes the best part. When the bill finally arrives we left a tip as you should for the service but then the waitress ask if we were going to give her more!!! We looked at her and said excuse me you're asking us to leave a much larger tip than what you're receiving right now! Then the waitress said, we have to split the tips among everybody at the end of the night and we said ok and then she said " So your not going to give more?" We told that the tip we are leaving is for you and if that's how your boss divides the money that's not our problem. Ok now I'm going to do some quick math for you readers. They have 20 tables in the restaurant and if everyone left a $25 tip then they will gross $500 per hour in tips total. The restaurant is open for 10 hours and that's $5000 per day in tips split 20 ways for the workers. Stay with me now, if each person gets $250 per day and they work six days a week they will gross $1500 per week. That adds up to $6000 a month in tips working six days a week, which adds up to a grand total of $72,000 a year in tips. I'm sure some people will never see that kind of money without a degree or taking off your clothes and dancing around a pole. The moral of this post is if you want quality food and service then go to Fogo de Chow in Addison on Beltline. When you go their the wait person will not ask for more money because everything is to perfection. Happy dinning!!!

We've been to Fogo De Chao and Texas De Brazil. We didn't expect the same experience. But something somewhat similar at a cheaper price. It is the same style of cuisine. (Brazilian Steakhouse on a skewer) But the meat is low quality. Salad bar was sad. Jason's deli has a much better Salad bar. The service was poor. When we asked for wine we were rudely told to scan a QR code. So, we passed. The bill was $90 for 2 basic all you can eat meals. This was a waste of good money. We will not return.
Andre P — Google review
Steak is brought over on a skewer and sliced it at your table and you grab it with tongs as it is cut off. If you’re there during a slow time, most of the meat that comes around is cut and served to you from the outer portion of the meat. I prefer more of an interior cut. I felt that the external layer was a bit salty and greasy. But upon requesting a deeper section, the waiter was happy to accommodate my request. When the meat was cut a little bit more deeply into the secured portion, it was a much better experience. However, I must say that the salad bar was extraordinary and I feel like going back and having only the salad bar. There I found smoked salmon, lovely red beets, and these cute mini wedge salads 💕. I am going back for sure! They had some warm items on their salad bar, and I didn’t get to any of that. Perhaps when I return, I will try the hot portion of the salad bar. They had 13 different items on their dessert menu and a comprehensive alcohol menu. I considered their flaming cheesecake but opted for the carrot cake at the last minute and I’m glad I did. It was extremely nutty and flaky.

I really enjoy eating at thus restaurant. The service is top-notch. The food is hot and delicious. Such a fantastic experience every time I go. And the prices are reasonable. Add that all up and it equals a win for everyone.

Featuring an extensive menu of New American fare, Yard House is a high-end sports bar with great service. The chicken avocado sandwich was amazing, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good too.
The food was exceptional. I wanted to try everything on the menu and had a difficult time choosing. It was a long wait due to the concerts and festivities, but it was well worth the wait! I will definitely make it a point to revisit!!

My recent visit to Yard House was a truly pleasant experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was equally impressive, creating a comfortable and inviting dining environment. We ordered several chicken-based dishes, and while the overall flavors were good, we did find ourselves wishing the chicken in our main course was a bit more juicy. Despite this minor point, the positive aspects of our visit, particularly the outstanding service and ambiance, certainly made for an enjoyable meal. We look forward to returning and hope to find that extra touch of juiciness next time!

This was my first time visiting Yard House and I was honestly blown away! The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering how great the food tastes. The menu has a wide variety, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and the service was quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon—highly recommend!

Positives, Iove the extensive amount of beers and various types of cocktails. The restaurant was nice and dark, I like that. Service was good and responsive to our needs as guests. The booths are big and perfect for group gatherings. Negatives, we were nervous about the about parking due to the music factory and didn't want to park were we wouldn't be validated. The food was average and wasn't worth the price. If I pay 20$ each for an entree, it better be good. They have plenty of TV's to watch the game.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The customer service was excellent!!!! Javi really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The food was good and satisfying. If you love beer, they have an excellent selection to choose from. Overall, it was a nice place to enjoy a meal with great service and a good atmosphere. I’d definitely come back just for the hospitality alone!

Fun place with party / sports bar vibe. Loud music, friendly staff. Menu is huge, pages and pages of drinks and food. We liked our drinks better than our food. Not to say the food was bad, it was ok, but drinks were great. Park in the parking garage near by and the restaurant will validate for you. Cool place, we'd visit again.

Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was not too packed. The place had a good vibe and plenty of room for the patrons with several sports events playing on TVs. The appetizers here were great, and particularly enjoyed the poke nachos. Their burger was pretty average, though. Server was friendly but her food recommendations were pretty generic. Not sure if this is a place I would frequent, honestly, but it was decent. It's conveniently located in middle of Toyota Music Factory so it has that going for it.

Bartenders were great. Food was good, drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was good. My only reason for giving a 1 star review (if I could, I would give zero) is for for the manager Cody (see pics attached). I had a tab, beer on the bar. I stepped outside for less than 3 min. Tried to go inside, door was locked. I called my friend on the bar that was inside. Said, hey, door is locked. Come open or ask some to open. I had just ordered a yard. The manager said it was locked, and no one could come in for security reasons. He mentioned I was the one paying and I had to sign the bill. “Cody” said, I’ll call security to ask them if they can open. The security was him. I was then scolded by him, saying he couldn’t loose his job for letting me in. I told him I was already in, he said “ I can’t loose my job, because you went out for a smoke”. The most rude and unprofessional manager.

Restaurant
Cork & Pig Tavern Las Colinas is a laid-back gastropub that offers wood-fired pizza, American cuisine, and an extensive selection of wines in a modern setting. Situated at Irving Water Street, it provides a great dining option amidst the lush greenery of Lake Carolyn. The area also offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as romantic gondola rides on Mandalay Canals and stand-up paddleboarding with Stand Up Paddle North Texas.
This is another great place in the Los Colinas Canal area. Fantastic service. Our waiter was great. He provided the perfect amount of attention. We started with the truffle fries. They were perfection in a potato. I'm so sad all of the previous potatoes I've partaken in were not these fries. They were that good. And their sauces for the fries were so delicious. I could eat that spicy sauce on everything. The burgers were huge. The Mac and cheese was fantastic. I had the fish tacos. They were just right for me, but if you like a lot of food, they will not be enough for you. It's three "street" tacos and a side. I had the beets. They were nice. It was a mix of the red beets and pink beets. They had lots of brunch drink choices. They have a nice patio space as well. It was a fun time.

This is literally my favorite restaurants in Las Colinas! I go ALL of the time, and everything is always perfect! I highly recommend the crab cake salad, it’s my go-to! One of my favorite things about Cork & Pig, besides the incredible food, is their amazing service and hospitality! Hala is SOOOOOOOO sweet and amazing, and she always makes me feel seen and welcome. When I’m there, they make me feel like a celebrity, and I love that!

We chose this location because we had tickets for a play nearby. Two of us ordered the coconut mojitos and they were great. I am still searching for the Bounty coconut rum from St Lucia. My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was a good choice. My pork chop was also very good. They have a huge outside patio area that got pretty full by the time we were heading out. The interior is very modern and looks inviting. If we are ever back in this area we would definitely stop back. They also have a nice happy hour selection that ends at 6:00 pm.

Our highly anticipated ladies' night got off to a rocky start. We had a patio reservation made well in advance, but the initial experience with the hostess was disappointing. She was unfriendly and a bit passive-aggressive when we inquired about our table—honestly, the worst part of our visit. We were initially seated at the only available table, which was unfortunately blazing in the direct sun. The Turnaround: Phenomenal Service and Delicious Food Thankfully, once we were able to switch to a shaded table, the evening became wonderful. Our server, Nick, was phenomenal! He was kind, incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our requests, and proactively ensured we were aware of any potential food allergens for our table. He truly saved the experience. For my main course, I had the salmon with blue crab and lemon butter topping, which was served after an extremely fresh and tasty garden salad. While the salmon was delicious, it was just slightly overcooked for my personal liking. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate cake and beignets for dessert. Conclusion I would definitely return, especially if Nick is our server. Despite the rocky beginning with the hostess and seating, the quality of the food and Nick's exceptional service made for a fantastic ladies' night out.

Cierra was our AMAZING amazing waitress and helped make our group corporate lunch feel super special. We celebrated two of our team members birthdays and she was wonderful in surprising them at the end. The food was bigger portions than we thought and we were thoroughly surprised! Leftovers heck yes! Taste of the food was great too! Spinach and artichoke dip was good- chips kind of too salty for me but still the dip yummm The truffle pizza was great but I would recommend folks to ask for arugula on the side so that you can add as needed And the truffle fires were bomb! Super tasty and flavorful and I liked dipping in the spicy mayo

the rustic and airy vibe struck a nice balance between relaxed and upscale. The outdoor patio is great for people-watching or dining with friends. Deviled eggs were creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced — a must-order Try their wood fired pizza and pork ribs. The atmosphere and servers made me feel welcome, and dessert was just the cherry on top. Try their key lime. Cocktail are must try too - the buzz and seventh were good

Let’s me start by saying my server Matthew was phenomenal! His energy was great from start to finish! I came here for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the brunch pizza and it was very flavorful. Everything was fresh; you can tell it’s locally sourced I really appreciated that. The crust 10/10 so buttery, however I don’t think I’d order it again but I’d come back and get the regular pizza.

Gloria's Latin Cuisine is a delightful family-friendly restaurant that has been serving up the vibrant flavors of Salvadoran and Tex-Mex cuisine since its inception in 1986. Founded by Gloria and Jose Fuentes, this eatery began as a small venture in Dallas' Oak Cliff neighborhood, where the couple transformed their passion for cooking into a thriving business. With an unwavering commitment to fresh ingredients and innovative recipes, Gloria's Latin Cuisine offers guests an exceptional dining experience.
I went to Gloria's for the first time on Saturday and it was wonderful. I had been walking in the heat for 30 minutes but as soon as I entered Gloria's, I was greeted with welcoming smiles and a glass of ice cold water. I had a frozen Margarita and it was the best I have had. I later discovered that it is officially rated the best frozen Margarita in DFW. A bowl of chips with three delicious dips was brought over instantly and I really enjoyed them. Irma was the bar tender and was wonderful, extremely friendly, and attentive. I will definitely return frequently.

Gloria’s is a great place for very good Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere was very good and the food and drinks were great as well. I really enjoyed this place. The young man who does the cooking was manning the front when I came in and we had conversations he told me what he recommended and since he is the one cooking I ordered what he said. The food was very good I ordered to go but what with the smell and my hungry I ate half of it in the car. It was hot not spicy hot which I love in my meals I want it as fresh as can be. The taste was good I was not expecting to like it because it kind of had a sweetness to it nothing over powering at all because I really do not like sweet meat. However this meat was good meat. I almost came back the very next day for another cheese steak. I also love that they did not call it a Philly cheese steak if you follow my reviews you know I'm strict on those. This place has a lot of fusion food which Mexican food and Asian food are some of my favorites so mixing them together made a lot of sense. Long story short good people good food come give it a try! I came back and talked to the owner he is a really chill guy. I tried the melt and got the cheese steak again. The melt has a great sauce I would have liked more sauce because I love sauces. The burger was good but really the sauce is what made it and it had some heat to it which was awesome. Definitely see myself going back and trying a few other things off the menu. The people are welcoming and the food tastes fresh.

Strictly Vegetarian Review- tried this place for the first time. It's a cafe style seating, self order. We did spicy veggie tacos (4/5) and namaste burger (2/5). Burger was pretty bland. I was expecting for a better taste given they had a specific area for veggie on the menu.

I ordered today thru uber eats. The meat tasted bad. I even had a co-worker that swears by la burger to try it and he agreed it didn't taste right. Had a buy one get one free but they both went in the trash. But I will say it looked good.

Let's Get into it! So for lunch me and the crew ordered 3 strikes burger with bacon, asain tacos with chicken, and Kfries. I got to taste some of all 3 and they were great! I was skeptical of the Kfries but, they were awesome! This is by far my favorite burger spots. You can also customize your order and get anything you desire on your burger. Curly fries are pretty good too. Great spot and the employees really loved the place. The guy that helped me, you could tell how passionate he was about the place and he wasn't even the owner. He said he started working there because he loved it so much.

The buns are out of this world!!! Go for the bread! The fries are cute letters. The onion rings are a better choice. They are fried in a light tempura batter. The burgers are good. The only downside was the bulgogi; it was too salty and wasn’t as flavorful as it used to be. I’m not sure if they changed something or it was an off day. The staff is friendly and helpful. She answered our questions and was so nice.

We went to The Reservoir in Las Colinas for Mother’s Day brunch and had a wonderful experience. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was great from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed; perfect for a special occasion but not overly crowded. Although we were told to make a reservation in advance, we ended up walking in with no wait and found plenty of open tables. There was even some live music playing, which added a nice touch to the vibe. Overall, it was a great time. Highly recommend for brunch, especially if you’re looking for good food, good vibes, and a fun, casual setting.

Drinks were available at a happy hour price but not food since It was a concert day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and If it hadn’t been this hot we’d prefer to sit outside. Haven’t been here in two years because of the service. Stopped by today and waited 20 minutes to get someone to take our drink order. Was not busy at all. Ordered the grilled chicken melt. Chicken was tough and over cooked and was not grilled. Onion rings were frozen from the bag to the dryer like Whataburger but not as good as Whataburger. I ate it because I was hungry. Guest who was with me had chicken tenders and they were totally burnt. Other guest had a burger and complained about how dry the meat was. Then they charged us for the tenders and added a 20% gratuity in for 4 people. lol.

The Brisket skillet was decent but the brisket had no smoke flavor and was overdone. The Blackened Salmon Salad was bland. The salmon tasted like the lowest grade, “pink/chum” salmon and it wasn’t actually blackened. The salmon portion was extremely small - about a 1/4”thick, 2”wide x3” long. The service was average at best. The atmosphere was pleasant!

I moved to Las Colinas about a year ago and I’m addicted to this place. Such a diverse menu but the quality of each dish is 10/10!! I’ve gotten the best service here. My favorites are the chicken caesar sandwhich, the brisket skillet, the el jefe (burrito), the Philly rice, and the lasagna. I will keep going back until I’ve tried everything. The drinks are also amazing! Definitely my favorite spot in the area.

I stopped by this bar recently when it was pretty packed. I ordered just one IPA, and the waiter took my card to open a tab. No problem there. But when I finished and asked for the check, they brought me a bill for three drinks even though I only had one. Their system showed all three on my tab, and it seemed like they somehow mixed up my card with someone else’s, maybe because another card had the same last four digits. I ended up paying for the extra drinks just to avoid any hassle, but it didn’t feel right. The staff did apologize and offered me a free drink afterward, which was a nice gesture and showed they at least recognized the mistake. I really hope they sort this out going forward. Paying for two drinks I didn’t order was annoying but manageable but what if it happens again and the mistake is bigger? If you go, keep an eye on your tab.

Wonderful Mexican food restaurant. I wa starving and ordered the loaded asada fries. A base of fries topped grilled meat, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole. Also had the 3 quesabirria tacos, stewed meat, double tortilla with a dipping sauce. Just delicious.

My daughter wanted me to have a good lunch a few days after surgery so we tried Pacheco. It was easy to order for pickup as this was a few blocks from my place. My daughter went and picked up for me. She said the gentlemen that handed her the order was nice and asked if we liked to please return. I had 3 birria tacos with no sides that cost about $16. They were lacking in meat is my biggest complaint. Now, I’m not a big meat person but when I’m looking for birria I need a good ratio of meat to cheese. This was about a tablespoon of meat spread with lots of cheese. I will say that the tacos were really good. Looking at previous reviews the meat portions may be inconsistent 🤷🏽‍♀️ I did warm leftovers in my air fryer which made it better with the salsa. I won’t rush back but I might try again in the future

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was not busy at all. You order at a counter and seat yourself. Walking in you could smell strong chemicals as if they had sprayed fragrance. I can’t speak for everyone but I try to avoid toxic fragrances. The food was brought to our table with missing sides but they quickly brought us what we needed. As I went to the restroom to wash my hands there was a random fork in the sink and water all over the floor. Strange! But the food was great! Very authentic and beautiful decor in the restaurant

Order whatever you want in the menu, then add the Ramen Elote. This Taco Bar is a favorite of ours when we're in Irving visiting the Convention Center or Toyota Music Factory. The employees are friendly and our food is always fresh and fast. Our family will get the four Street Taco deal and mix and match all the delicious options. You can't miss on this one....... And don't forget the Ramen Elote!!

Delicious food, great atmosphere. There was a mistake in my order, but I went to the register and they fixed it without any problem! I loved the papas locas and the birria tacos.

We went to this restaurant WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF VALIDATING OUR PARKING. They have signs on the inside and outside that say they validate parking. Online it says they validate parking. The parking attendant at the parking garage said this restaurant validates parking. TELL MY WHY THE WORKERS AND MANAGERS REFUSED TO VALIDATE ANYONES PARKING. I was not the only customer upset. They said they don’t validate on the weekends. AFTER WE BOUGHT OUR FOOD. But that is a blatant lie, because when we went to the dessert place next door right after they validated our parking no problem (That place was very good, it was cheesecake, highly recommend). They actually laughed when we said the Mexican restaurant next door to them wouldn’t validate us. The manager was incredibly rude, she was a short woman with a tight low bun and glasses. She didn’t want to come out to talk to customers, and when she did she was very short and unhelpful. She turned her back on customers before they could even speak. If they don’t want to validate parking that’s fine, BUT THEN DONT ADVERTISE THAT YOU DO. I realize this is a long and ranting review, I’m just pregnant and it really sent me over the edge. The price if you validate parking is $10, the price if you don’t validate parking is $55.

Super fresh with flavors that pop! The guacamole was tasty (I added salt) and the queso cubes added a nice touch. The tacos were delicious! The Mexican corn was INSANE!!! SO FLIPPING GOOD! Great place to stop and relax with amazing food. Family friendly as well. Thanks for the experience Pacheco Taco Bar. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

The place is very cute inside and had plenty of seating and quite an extensive menu but the food was just ok. Micheladas lacked flavor. They even forgot to bring one michelada out to my friend who had to get a refund for it. Overall still an ok place for tacos. Parking was quite of a hassle as the parking was full

It offers a variety of never-frozen whole foods, including popular dishes like pizzas, spit-roasted meat, street tacos, and banana pudding sugar tacos. The menu has a wide selection of homemade comfort food and breakfast options. Visitors praise the delicious food and great service, with some mentioning specific dishes like the power bowl with chicken, kale dip, and Elote.
Incredible spot! The moment you walk in you can smell meats on the grill which was a warm welcome. Menu variety is great and honestly price points on their food are pretty killer. I got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken and it was really good, chicken was not dry, veggies were fresh and crisp. The teas are great, had the hibiscus tea and absolutely loved it. My wife got the breakfast sandwich and my son had the pizza. Both of them really loved their food as well!. Can't wait to be back!

This was different, but a good different. A few Mediterranean food items. Healthy choices. The oil that comes with the chicken skewers was tasty. The side salad was yummy. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend it. I would love to try their gyro. I plan to visit again.

We really enjoyed coming here for brunch!! The service was great and the food and drinks came out super fast. Everything was freshly made and delicious. My husband said they could do to season the food more, but I enjoyed my Breakfast Bowl. I would definitely come back because they have a huge menu with a variety of different entrées.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kitchen 101, and I can confidently say it's one of the best culinary experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is charming, with a perfect blend of modern and cozy touches. The menu is diverse, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that cater to various tastes. I opted for the grilled chicken tacos, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My friends tried the Macnchees and Burger, and they talked about how delicious it was. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without being intrusive. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about creating a memorable dining experience for their guests. Overall, Kitchen 101 exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special night out, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

There is a great menu here at this location. I ordered the Green Curry bowl with vegetables. Once my food came out, I noticed that it was chicken instead of vegetables. I have a dietary restriction so I kindly let them know, I ordered vegetables. My second plate comes out and I am satisfied that it’s the vegetables that I initially ordered. However, as I am finishing my plate, I bite into a piece of chicken. This is particularly frustrating because I already sent back a plate with chicken on it. If I ordered my meal with vegetables, I should NOT have chicken ANYWHERE in my plate. The food was good, just be sure to TRIPLE check that you’re getting exactly what you ordered (which should be the standard).

I had the chopped brisket sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. Onion rings were phenomenal! Coleslaw had a nice twist with red onion. Chopped brisket was good. Could have used some more seasoning and some sauce. I don't know if they carried BBQ sauce (thats on me) but the bun it was on was perfectly soft! Atmosphere was very cute but not sure if there was suppose to be a hole in the ceiling where water was dripping from. Maybe they're going for the "industrial" look. Staff was super friendly, bathrooms were kept clean. Parking was a nightmare, not sure why they made the area like that with minimal parking. Walked two blocks to get to our destination. Recommend walking later in the night and not mid day in this Texas summer sun.

Saltgrass Steak House is a casual Texan-themed chain that serves a variety of meaty dishes and has a fully stocked bar. The restaurant's decor is filled with cow-themed decorations, giving it a unique and rustic atmosphere. If you're in Irving or other locations like Pearland and Austin, this popular eatery is the go-to place for delicious seafood, steaks, and hearty meals.
As a traveling foodie, I have to honestly say that I was very impressed with the service provided at this location by our waiter “WALE”. His knowledge, assertiveness, ability to read us and accurately suggest drinks to best suit our mood was impeccable. If you’re anywhere near this location please ask for him. Also the chef perfectly seasoned and cooked our meals. This is what a real medium well steak is supposed to taste like 👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This is a hidden gem. Our waiter Trey was attentive and quick to get us drinks and serve us some appetizers, The service here is impressive. The food is amazing and the steaks are exactly what you would expect from a Texas steakhouse. All around 10 stars if possible.

The steak came out pink. I had asked for medium well but I went back and fixed it correctly and I was happy with it. No blood in sight I asked for a honey mustard salad, The honey, mustard with sour in the salad potato was really hard, Regardless of how much butter I put on it. Are waitress Armani was perfect sweet girl really sweet great waitress and had a good one in a long time. Beautiful smile very polite and so helpful. Also hadn’t spoken with a manager Jacquees he was a nice guy when I told him what my issues was. He made me a fresh baked potato to eat while I waited plus gave me a new baked potato to go With a state that was precooked for me to take home overall, the service was good and best of all it was not the food that made it good but the attitude behind the service that made it worthwhile a scale from one to five I would give it a four

First timer and I didn't give 5 stars for only one reason. See below. I am new to Texas and was told to try this place for a good steak. The service was good (at the bar), and the bartender made the best amaretto sours! I got the crabcakes. A little spicy but totally delish. I got the porterhouse with the usual sides and it was all very good for the price. Very affordable for a steakhouse. My only little issue was I asked for my steak to be medium well, and it was pretty red in the inside. I ate around the center and I didn't send it back because I knew I'd take a lot home and could reheat it to cook it more at home. I was a little disappointed in that. But, otherwise, I was satisfied.

I have been here a number of times before. Today, it was a special day for me and on a solo treat (birthday). I arrived at 3:30pm and it had enough parking, almost empty. The manager was responsive when he saw me, and called on the hostesses to attend to me. Then, there came Tatyana 😊! Bilingual, as yours truly 😊. She was jovial, communicates well, and well versed in her industry. Her service was prompt, and each one of the waitresses who passed by could ask if you were ok or needed anything. I ordered beef steak with sautéed mushrooms. Fair price, great taste and good quantity. And, of course, they started with the in-house bread, and soup (potato soup). The fresh bread and tasty butter was great! The soup came in handy in this rainy and chilly day in the DF-Dub (DFW). It was tasty too and I almost got full before eating my lunch. As you can see, I surrendered at half-plate and had to pack the leftovers for to-go! Great ambiance too! vouch for the place.

Cavalli Pizza is a family-owned eatery known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, which are certified by the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani. The restaurant takes pride in offering delicious pies with thin, crispy crusts and flavorful toppings. In addition to their signature pizzas, they also serve fresh salads with housemade dressings.
Best. Pizza. Ever. Cavalli's pizza is the best, most delicious, and most savory food I have ever had in my entire life. Each bite is carefully crafted with passion and joy, and each slice has the flavor and love melt and seep into your heart. If you EVER find yourself close to here, eat the pizza. If you live within a 50 mile radius of here, eat the pizza. If you are a living human on Earth, eat this dang pizza. And that's just the pizza, the calamari is the best I've ever eaten. It's so flavorful and delicious, especially combined with the sauces. Cavalli Pizza holds a special flame in my heart that can never be extinguished. Eat. This. Pizza.

wow I was surprised how good the pizza is here! I honestly expected just low average pizza especially in Dallas area but this place actually has good pizza! Real wood fired cooked pizza in this place, dough is delicious and fluffy with a great flavor, baked just right with slight char. Mozzarella sticks were also delicious. The cooks where gloves when making the pizza too which is unheard of.. The best part is the prices here are actually reasonable and not astronomical like most other pizza places! I will definitely return here my next visit!

Best Naples style pizza in DFW. Actually, everything on the menu is delicious. We got the garlic parmesan wings, caesar salad, spinach chicken pasta, and margherita pizza with salami. Service is top notch too!!

These wood fire pizzas have a great taste. Good portion sizes. The fountain sodas are not any of the usual brand name drinks but instead some off brand type. Do enjoy the fact that it's BYOB. Outdoor seating is available but it's nothing fancy. Will definitely return to try the other menu items.

Who knew? This place Cavalli Pizza is only 2 miles from my house. There are accolades of the Best Pizza in town adorning the walls and front door as you walk in. This place is in Irving next to my favorite Poke place. Unassuming, humble, but power house pizza. I was inspired to find a Woodfire pizza joint near me after watching the nexflix show “chefs table.” The price is even great. Today I had the “Dallas” and it was crispy and delicious. Trust me y’all, this place is awesome so check them out.

This is probably my favorite place for pizza in the metroplex. Whenever I have the opportunity, I try to stop by, but it’s never frequent enough. You order at the counter, and they’ll bring the food to you. If you would like wine or beer, you can bring in your own, which is a major plus. I love the freshness of ingredients along how it’s prepared with the wood burning pit. This time around we had Truffle Fries, Margherita Pizza and the Dallas Pizza. Everything was great!!

Nestled in the charming Las Colinas area, Italian Café is a delightful spot that captures the essence of traditional Italian-American cuisine. With its inviting red and white checkered decor and brick-lined interiors, this cozy eatery offers a warm atmosphere perfect for families and friends alike. Guests can indulge in an array of mouthwatering dishes, including New York-style pizza, hearty pastas, and delicious subs.
Italian Cafe was an absolute hit- I had family from New York staying with me and they absolutely agreed. I called ahead to reserve a table for 9 at 5:00pm on a Friday and the host was so accommodating, he swiftly added us in, even though I called only 3 hours ahead. The restaurant has a charming, old school aesthetic with wooden accents throughout and these gorgeous table cloths. There is an outdoor, sealed in patio with TVs to watch sports, which is where we sat. Our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating, we were never without anything we needed. Now: onto the food. It’s amazing. We loved we tried everything we tried. The greek salad was beautiful and full of fresh produce. The tortellini in broth was rich with incredibly tender pasta. The chicken stromboli was crisp and well seasoned, with an acidic tomato sauce to go with. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a family meal. It’s very close to the University of Dallas and would be a great place to meet up if you go there. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

Their eggplant parmigiana is amazing! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Their tomato sauce is great. The kids had spaghetti and a slice of cheese pizza which they both loved. The bread that was served was delicious as well. We ended our meal with a cheesecake which was good as well.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, and it was such a pleasant experience. For about $60 for two people, we enjoyed a truly satisfying meal. We started with their Focaccia bread, which was incredibly soft, flavorful, and served with a creamy dip that paired perfectly. For our mains, we ordered the Tortellini Pesto Pasta with Chicken and the Rigatoni with Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce. Both dishes were delicious, with generous portions that left us full and happy. The creamy pesto was rich and comforting, while the spicy red sauce had the perfect kick without being overwhelming. We ended our meal with their Chocolate Cake, which was both soft and dense—a sweet finish to a wonderful lunch.
Chiraag L — Google review
Best Italian experience since I was in Florence (Italy). Someone, I’m assuming the manager or owner, welcomed us in right away and showed us where to get lunch. The authenticity was felt by all the Italian speaking men serving in the kitchen, and big burly Italian behind the bar. The food was hot, quantities large, and the flavors were AMAZING. When I needed to charge my phone the owner quickly grabbed my phone and found an outlet that was safely behind the bar. Would go back and would recommend to anyone wanting a genuine Italian experience!

We had a nice dinner at Italian Café while staying at the Omni Hotel just down the street. We were a group of six business travelers looking for a relaxed spot to chat and enjoy a good meal—and this place delivered! The appetizers were great—we tried the Italian meatballs, sausage, and garlic bread, and all were flavorful and well-prepared. My wife had a chicken salad that she really enjoyed, and I went with the lasagna, which was tasty. My colleagues ordered a mix of chicken parmesan and seafood dishes, and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient, and we appreciated how quickly the check came. All in all, it was a good experience in a comfortable setting. Would definitely recommend for both casual dining and business dinners!

We were a part of 3 and ordered mozzarella sticks and calamari as appetizers and they were both great. The marina sauce on the side was also very good. For main courses, we ordered the salmon risotto which was a 5/5, the chicken & shrimp franchesse was also a 5/5 and the pizza with arugula would have been a 5/5 if it had a marinara sauce base but I didn't order the one with a tomato base so a 4/5

The food was really good. Has a very good variety of unique items in the menu. Has live Indian classical music. However the service was really bad and the place isn't clean as per restaurant standards. They missed serving our drinks and made us wait for very long to get our food and the check. I think take-away might be a better option for this place since I'd love to try the different items in the menu but not deal with their sub standard service.
Saikat G — Google review
I came here for the lunch buffet last March. Certainly not the largest selection of buffet items I've ever had, but it suffices. I'd say the meat quality is a bit higher here than what I've experienced at some other Indian buffets in the past. The place technically opens at 11am but they weren't really ready to serve until 11:15am. They should probably change their hours given that I doubt many people come in at 11am. The place was pretty dead but this was Monday morning before noon. BTW, a previous review complained about the quality of food on Monday's buffet and I didn't experience any quality issues. Service is good. Parking can be validated. Walking to the restaurant from the garage is a bit of a hassle but that's just the nature of this dated structure (either u go down stairs to the canal and back up stairs and then back down stairs to the restaurant, or you walk through the vehicle entrance to the parking garage). I won't say that this place wowed me but it wasn't bad and I would certainly recommend others try it out.

This is my review of all the things I like in a restaurant Food quality- 5/5. I have not had better tasting food in Dallas area. It felt like all the food was made fresh (which explains slightly longer waiting time but I am perfectly OK with that- all good things take time.) Service- 5/5. Place- not bad, I have seen better restaurants but they charge 5-10 times more. 5/5 after all is said and done. Location-ease of parking etc. 5/5. Prices- Reasonable in my opinion! All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great Indian food. Spacious interior with fitting decor. Customer service is a little weird. Employees are knowledgeable of the menu, constantly refilling water, but unable to bring the main course in a timely fashion. Last time I went there, my group and I were a little bored after a while of having to wait for our food. Would go back for the food, not so much for the service.
Blindmonkey — Google review
One of the best Indian food places in Irving, which has some tough competition. The flavors seem much more authentic that most other Dallas competitors. Food service is usually fast, though can slow a bit during busy times. The quality and consistency of the meals are great, with only a small handful of occasions where the spice levels are considerably above or below normal. Ample parking is generally available via the street or nearby lot. The mood is very dark (It is physically underground), so great for a romantic dinner but perhaps not the best to set a lively festive mood. Overall, highly recommended!

However, once seated, guests were treated like royalty with impeccable service and mouthwatering dishes.
*5/5 stars* I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sanjh, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a fantastic meal. Our server, Gayatri, was outstanding! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Her recommendations were spot on, and she even surprised us with a complimentary desserts at the end of the meal. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail in the preparation of each dish. The spices were balanced perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend Sanjh to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine with excellent service. Gayatri's exceptional service made our experience even more memorable. We can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious dishes! - Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5 (Gayatri was fantastic!) - Ambiance: 5/5

Excellent Food and Service! Had a fantastic lunch at Sanjh. As first-time visitors, we were very impressed. The presentation of every dish was great. We loved the Dahi Puri and the Lamb Chops were cooked perfectly. The Paneer Makhani was rich and delicious. Also, the Rasmalai and the mocktails were wonderful. A huge shout-out to Clarita and Snaju for their amazing service. Highly recommend this place!

If you’re looking for a modern take on Indian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is stylish yet warm, with a contemporary design that still gives a nod to Indian culture. The menu is creative, blending traditional flavors with innovative twists that make each dish feel familiar but exciting. A special mention to our host and server, Gayatri, who made the experience even better. She was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us with excellent recommendations. Her hospitality really stood out and made the evening memorable.

Sanjh is a wonderful restaurant offering a wide range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Their mocktails are a must-try—flavorful and refreshing. They’re also happy to customize drinks to your preferences; for example, the Anarkali mocktail without egg yolk was excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend their weekend buffet—don’t miss the dosa, which is served fresh and pairs well with the variety of other dishes and desserts. One of the unique touches I really appreciated was their mouth freshener, thoughtfully packed in a small pouch—such a simple yet impressive detail.

Sanjh. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere and smells let you know you’ve made the right decision. The aesthetic is clean, low key, and inviting. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and they genuinely made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. They were quick to offer recommendations (great ones) and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. It's the kind of service that really makes a place stand out. I don't want to spoil any of the magic, but trust me, the entire evening was a 10/10 from start to finish. If you're looking for a new favorite spot that delivers on great vibes and a fantastic experience, you absolutely have to check out Sanjh.

I visited Sanjh Restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and I must say — it was our second time here, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, everything felt a notch above our previous visit. The service was exceptional — our server was not only warm and attentive but also very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. You could tell they genuinely cared about creating a great experience. food was Just wow. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The lamb chops were the absolute highlight — perfectly cooked and full of bold spices. And dessert — a delightful end to a perfect meal. The updated menu and ambiance made the evening even more special. You can feel the passion behind everything they do. I’ll definitely be back again for future special occasions. Sanjh is becoming a favorite spot for us — one that delivers not just a meal, but a memory.

Sanjh in Dallas is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The combination of food, service, and ambience was absolutely outstanding. Located by the lake, the setting is serene and beautiful, making every bite even more enjoyable. We tried the Chicken shorbha soup, dahi puri, aloo tikki, paneer tikka, tandoori machi, dal makhni, butter chicken, masala roti, laccha paratha, rasmalai, and guava juice. Not a single dish missed the mark—everything was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and presented with elegance. I blindly went by the suggestions of Drishti and she knows what she suggests. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, matching the high standard of their fine dining approach. This is Indian cuisine at its finest in the USA—every dollar felt truly worth it for the quality, hospitality (especially Drishti and Erica), and overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an upscale Indian dining experience in Dallas! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Birthday dinner made special by our new favorite Indian restaurant by the lakeside – Sanjh. Everything—from the ambience, to the servers, to the mouthwatering food—was a solid 10/10. We tried a few dishes from the menu, starting with Rogani Chicken Tikka and the highly recommended Bharwan Paneer Tikka, served with a flavorful beetroot chutney. Absolutely delicious! Next, I enjoyed Dahi Puri while my husband had Masaaledar Chaampan (lamb chops), and once again, neither dish disappointed. The flavors were spot on. We ended our dinner with Rasmalai, which I would highly, highly, highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth. A special shoutout to our sweet server, Aakriti, who surprised me with a chocolate mousse cake to celebrate my birthday. I was so touched! Thank you, Sanjh, for making my birthday evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Bar
Bar Louie is a lively grill chain known for its American cuisine, martinis, and microbrews, along with great happy-hour deals. The Irving location offers the same menu of flatbreads, burgers, and appetizers as other Bar Louie spots. You can enjoy classic martinis like the Rat Pack or modern twists like the Clover on one of two sunny patios.
I had the pleasure of being served by AJ at Bar Louie in DFW today, and let me tell you, this guy is on another level. Even though the place was running low on napkins, liquor, and out of a lot of food, AJ didn’t miss a beat. The drinks he did whip up were absolutely top-notch—so refreshing and perfectly balanced. His service was lightning fast, and he was everywhere at once, making sure everyone was taken care of despite the shortages. You could see he was moving faster than anyone else on that floor, keeping the vibe positive and making the best of what he had. If you’re lucky enough to have AJ as your server, you’re in for a great time no matter what!

I spent $19 for one of my favorite sandwiches just for them to give it to me completely dried out and old. The chicken was so dry I could barely swallow. I was only able to get one bite and immediately knew it was old chicken. I asked no goddess sauce because I don’t like it and it has it on both sides of the sandwich. I would like a refund or a remake when I land hopefully I am able too. I planned to eat this on my 5 hour flight and I haven’t eaten all day so I’m beyond disappointed and have to starve until I land.

I'm not sure if it's just a bad day or not. The waitress was not really looking at us. It wasn't too busy at all. The food was delicious and not too pricey. I only gave 3 stars for the services.
L. W — Google review
Bar Louie fits the bill for your food quest in Terminal D at DFW. The food was better than expected. The artichoke dip had good flavor and came out bubbling hot. The wings were meaty, crispy, and the sauces enhanced the experience. The pepperoni flatbread had a robust sauce and the crust was nicely crisp. The service was excellent. For a small space, there are too many large tv’s mounted on every square inch of the walls. It is very distracting and hard not to look at the screens. But what the heck, for many if it’s not a 60-inch flatscreen, a 5-inch screen will capture your attention.
Grish240 — Google review
I understand that working at a restaurant is hard, and working at a restaurant in an airport is even harder given the traffic flow and spikes in customers at different times during the day. Nonetheless, customer service is the hallmark of any successful business, and Bar Louie DFW fell well short of delivering and meeting our expectations today. We alerted our waiter to the fact that our burger was not well made (burnt and cheese not melted); instead of offering a solution (i.e., remake the burger, offer another item on the menu, or even apologize), our waiter stated, with aggression, that we ate a percentage of the burger and therefore there was nothing he could do. We asked for the manager, who also reiterated that there was nothing he could do. We did state that the fries were good (which is why we gave this review a 2 Star in the food category), to which the manager laughed. Not a good way to get repeat business or a 5-star review. And for waiters, I imagine that tips are an added bonus on top of the hourly pay they earn. If you meet your customer with compassion when they bring to your attention poorly prepared food (especially when you did not prepare it, but the chef in back prepared it), you should offer solutions to enhance their experience, which in turn would increase tip amount. The tip we left reflected how we felt about our experience today.

Ordered a spicy Bloody Mary at 9am for a long flight out. The Mary was way too spicy and I requested my server to remake it. I had already thrown all the yummy stuff into the drink - the tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and olive. She just threw out the whole drink - made a new one and poured it into the same glass. For $16 I felt ripped off. Why suggest you remake it if you cannot remake it? It made me feel like I was at a shack that just redid a drink shabbily and did not even bother to give me the stuff that I’m actually paying for. Rude service and I should’ve gone to flying saucer (always a good time) or brewed which looked like it was popping!! Stay woke guys overpriced drinks deserve much better service than my local bar gives me. Do not suggest to remake a drink if you’re going to make a customer feel like they don’t deserve their whole drink. Won’t be going back. And I fly a lot. :)

I will say that the hostess who greeted us was amazing. Her sense of humor and quick wit are what made us decide on Bar Louie and what ultimately brought a smile to our faces during this brunch experience. The meal itself met our needs for a meal during a layover. Better than many meals I've had at airports, but not overly impressed either.

Pop Factory in Las Colinas is redefining the frozen treat experience with its artisanal popsicles crafted from 100% real ingredients, ensuring no artificial additives. Guests can indulge in a variety of flavors, including fruity and creamy options, along with boozy pops for adults.
My 8 yo daughter needed to use the restroom. The taco shop next door would not let her use it because we were not customers. Arleth was nice enough to let her although we were not customers at the moment. We left to eat and return for some ice cream pops. My daughter loved it. I really appreciate the caring service.

These are not just ordinary popsicles. They are gourmet. They even have cocktail popsicles with alcohol like the Margarita. I love having them dipped in dark chocolate. The hard shell adds a decadent crunch. They also have toppings you can add. They are a decent size so I feel ok about the price. You can sit indoors or outdoors or take it to go.

Wow! What an experience! The flavors are so fresh and delicious! We tried a few and had so much fun. The raspberry dipped in dark chocolate is the perfect combination of sweet and tart! So fun and so delicious! I like that there is real fruit in the pops and that they are not overly sweet. Being able to customize each order made it personal and everyone was happy. Can't wait to come back and try more.

If you're in the Las Colinas area, make sure to treat yourself at Drizzle Cheesecakes, a delightful haven for dessert lovers. This charming spot is renowned not only for its mouthwatering cheesecakes—especially the standout Biscoff variety—but also for its exceptional coffee that rivals any café around the Music Factory. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making you feel like part of a family rather than just another customer.
We had heard so much about Drizzle Cheesecake, and we finally decided to give it a try! We're so glad we did! First and foremost, the customer service was fantastic!! Kirsten was incredibly sweet and helpful. The place itself was spotless, and we loved the aesthetics! And of course, the cheesecakes were absolutely divine! My husband opted for the Snickers Cheesecake, while I indulged in the Biscoff Delight. I wholeheartedly recommend Drizzle! If you're considering a perfect dessert experience, this is the place to go!

I’m a total sucker for cheesecake, and this place did not disappoint. I’ve been seeing this all over TikTok and just had to go . The cheesecakes were creamy, rich, and not overly sweet — a true cheesecake lover’s dream! I loved the Biscoff flavor the most (so good!), but we also tried the Strawberry Crunch, Oreo, and Hazelnut — each one was decadent and perfectly made. One of the best parts is that you can actually watch them make your cheesecake, which made the experience even more fun. The shop itself was spotless with such a cute, modern aesthetic. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even though we got there right when they opened, we never felt rushed while deciding what to order. We traveled back to OKC with them, and they held up perfectly — impressive! We didn’t try any coffee this time, but I’ll definitely be back next month with my daughter to try more. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cheesecake or just wants to treat themselves to something sweet and special!

OMG,the cheesecake slices here are so decadent! The perfect treat for a cheat day that's not overly sweet ... surprisingly! They use a really good quality melting chocolate they dip the cheesecake in and the toppings are always fresh as well. I haven't had a bad slice yet!!! And I've tried almost all flavors, I'm working on it though lol!!! I give this place a 10/10!

I had a party of 2 and was tipping$ 20cash, but they decided to take a gratuity of $14 on their own. So be careful. Look at your tab before you close. I've never had this issue before. I think it should be said beforehand. I thought gratuity was for a party of 6 or more. Just pay attention not cool

Visited on Wednesday for Karaoke and initially had a very enjoyable experience, particularly while interacting with the bartender, Diana, who was warm and welcoming. However, the conduct of another staff member either a barback or fellow coworker was surprisingly discourteous and created an uncomfortable dynamic. The contrast in professionalism between the two was striking and unfortunately diminished the overall atmosphere. Regrettably, my group and I will not be returning unless there is a change in passive aggressive or team conduct. If I could I would give Diana 5 stars and the other zero.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful frozen treat, TCBY is a must-visit! This iconic yogurt shop has been serving up delicious frozen yogurt and chilled coffee drinks for years, making it a beloved destination for those seeking both flavor and nutrition. With an impressive selection of healthy options, TCBY truly lives up to its reputation as "The Country's Best Yogurt.
Wait a minute?! A TCBY? We were in the area for a concert and noticed the sign. We had to go in for old times’ sake. We had no idea they still existed! It feels like the 1990s again. I like the way you can get your own and pay by the ounce. Naturally, I had to select the infamous White Chocolate Moose. Just as good as I remembered! We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area again. The restaurant was clean and modern. As a bonus, they have a QR code to cover parking in the garage!!

Grabbed some yogurt after a show and had a nice time here. The 1 employee we saw was kind and hardworking. The place was cute and clean. I really liked their patio set up. The yogurt flavors were very basic. Nothing stood out. They did, however, have very good and fresh toppings. Nothing looked old or stale so that was a plus. Just a nice place to hang out and people watch 😁
Myra H — Google review
Unprofessional, the employee who was behind the counter was pressing us and not bothering the other couple across from us. He looked hispanic with a pink shirt wearing glasses. The first time he approached us was to let us know he was closing in 30 minutes and that it would be to go orders only, we politely told him that we were heading out soon. Not even 5 minutes later when we were almost finished eating the yogurt he comes up to us very rudely telling us we need to leave now, and approaches us aggressively with a broom all while he told nothing to the white couple across from us. I don’t think paying customers who were already going to make their way out have to deal with this type of harassment from workers. We have been here multiple times in past without issues, this employee’s interaction with us felt prejudiced, unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable. What made this experience especially upsetting was the clear difference in treatment. While we were repeatedly pressured to leave eventually in an aggressive manner, the white couple across from us was left alone and allowed to leave at their own pace. It felt like we were being singled out, and that’s not acceptable. Additionally, the store’s posted hours say it closes at 10 PM, so if there are different closing procedures, it would be helpful to update the information for transparency and to prevent situations like this. I hope management can address this issue so all customers feel welcome. UPDATE: manager did call us to apologize for the situation, and took appropriate measures to ensure that this would not happen again. Thank you Tina!

I thought that this would be a great place. Turns out it’s NOT!!! There was only 3 flavors of yogurt to choose from and the girls behind the counter wasn’t very helpful! They were also out of hot fudge and a few of the other toppings! If I lived here o wouldn’t go back to this location! Yall need to work on your store and have things working properly!
Christina M — Google review
I came across this place when I was visiting a friend nearby and he took me to this place. This is situated opposite to the Toyota Music Factory. Here is my perspective about the place. Food (5 out of 5) - I tried various flavors of their frozen yogurts such as strawberry, mango, white chocolate and milk chocolate. I loved all the flavors. A simple advice from my side is to not forget to add boba toppings to your cup of frozen yogurt. Ambience (5 out of 5) - The ambience is pretty fancy considering it’s just a dessert place. The seatings comprise of both sofas and furry chairs. The ambience very well compliments their desserts. Service - It is a self service restaurant. You get your bucket and then fill it with yogurt and toppings you want and then pay at the counter based on the weight. The overall experience was very good and a must recommended place for frozen yogurts.

I visited twice. The first visit was amazing. The second visit not so much. The employee was in the restroom so I had to wait a long time, then my cone was stale. I mentioned that my cone tasted stale and the employee just said it's fresh. I just left, but I spent nearly 4 bucks for a stale one scoop cone so in hindsight I should have asked for a cup instead. But the spot is super clean and everything else was yummy.

This location is in a nice area and I expected way more—beware, it’s not well maintained. The topping bar was pretty messy and we sampled a soft serve flavor that I believe was spoiled. Ended up spending $10 on two very small portions of soft serve which I’m regretting. I hope we don’t get sick…
A B — Google review
We drove 25 minutes to get TCBY yogurt at the Irving location and when we got there they had no sample cups, they were out of strawberries, and had maybe 5-6 flavors to choose from. I’ve never been to a TCBY that didn’t have a minimum of 10 flavors. When we asked the girl working if they had sample cups she said they don’t offer samples. When we asked the girl working is she had more strawberries in the back she said she didn’t. They didn’t have normal flavors like strawberry. I’ve never had an experience like this at any TCBY. It just wasn’t run well and wasn’t prepared for guests. We left and went to another location.

Shoals Smokehouse is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Guests rave about the delicious food, particularly the mouthwatering brisket that keeps them coming back for more. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, often enhanced by live music that adds to the overall enjoyment. Patrons consistently highlight the exceptional service provided by staff members like Julia, who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit.
I’m gonna give this five stars because the service was so unbelievably good. Barbecue is above average. I was disappointed they were out of turkey, but the brisket was lean (like I like it) and the barbecue beans were among the best. Potato salad was good, but it had just been freshly made and was somewhat room temperature, instead of freezing cold, like I like it. Prices very reasonable, especially for this area.
Mark W — Google review
There effectively was no table service. You seat yourself and at the booth/table is a QR code to scan, that gives you your menu, which you use your phone to order and pay from. Whatever food and drinks you order is then delivered to you. For refills, you go up to the drink machine and get your own drinks, like you would at McDonalds… The delivery person didn’t come back and check on us or ask us how things were. I made an order and asked for customization on the app. A food delivery person came to the booth and informed me I had to make the additional order on the app - instead of accommodating or helping me - and then walked away. We both got Johnny’s plate, which is a Choice of 2 Meats, 1 Side, Sauces & Pickled Vegetables. The chopped Brisket is excellent. The “lean” Brisket was fatty and overcooked. The side of Elote was delicious and perhaps the best street corn we’ve had. The braised greens were tasty but way undercooked for true southern barbecue. The pickled onions were barely pickled and were hard (I don’t recommend). The Texas Toast was just bland toast. The sauces were good. The small, extra sides are $6 each - which seems like a lot for a 1/2 cup of undercooked greens! There isn’t much to say about the atmosphere - it feels cookie cutter barbecue joint with no personal touches. Nondescript and boring.

Nope, it is Not until you had tried this bbq. Wow, woooow! And texas toast? Crispy, buttery, cooked to perfection, wheeeehaw! Wow. Graciela was my server and hostess. She showed me how to place my order. There is military discount also if you ask. Their restaurant is pretty nice and clean, nice seating area. I’ve been to enough BBQ restaurants to know what’s good, really good and what’s shameful. Shoals ranks amongst the good ones, I had the BBQ Brisket, sliced breads, Elote with some fixiiiins. The portion was huge and enough for 2 people I got the Johnny’s Combo. The Service was good they are really friendly and helpful, the food comes out a bit slow. Outside of that the atmosphere is top shelf I was DJ’ing right before I ate and my buddy was on the stage. Great vibes.

I had a wonderful experience, despite it being quite busy due to a large convention in town. We were seated right away, and our server went above and beyond to ensure the food came out quickly. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The only small hiccup was that the fries were a bit over-salted, though they were still fresh and tasty. Overall, a fantastic meal and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

LRH is a beautiful and elegant bar with best picked up alcohol and spirits. Cocktails are outstanding with a heart taking view. I visited the place last month, and trust me, this is the best Bar of Las colinas. It is located at the OMNI hotel lobby level. And have a great lake view attached, too. Menu is so good and attractive, so as cocktails that we served. Service is courteous and staff are friendly. They have good sitting areas, perfect for couples, corporate get together. I suggest the couch and window side are perfect sitting to enjoy your evening

I arrived early on Saturday evening with my girlfriend before heading to Dallas for a show at Silo. We wanted to enjoy some dinner with a nice view of the water. The restaurant wasn't too busy since I had made reservations, but it was nice that we could choose our own seats. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. I had the blackened salmon, while my girlfriend opted for the burger, which she absolutely loved. We’ll definitely be back for dinner again.

We had a ladies' brunch meet up and had a great time! I shared a burger, ceasar salad, and Margherita flatbread with my friends. The burger was by far the best. And all the ladoes who got drinks enjoyed them greatly. There was a larger group of us, and things started out rocky, but it got better. Sebastián was our bartender and server, and he was great. Definitely work stopping by if you're in the area. The hotel is beautiful with great views.

We came here for date night looking forward to a good meal and to watch the water. We were seated promptly and that's where the prompt ended. It took about 20 min for menus to come out. Then we quickly ordered and it was another 20+ min for our appetizer to come out and we ended up having to flag down who I think was the manager to check on our food. Now it's been almost two hours and I don't see an end in sight. S.O.S. we just want our checks and to leave.

Had possibly one of the best charcuterie boards ever here. Service was friendly even though we didn’t have a full meal - just wine with our charcuterie, and we sat outside the bar itself. I loved that they included honeycomb and had a perfect balance of meat and cheese for a good price. All the food we saw them bring out looked really good too. It’s very nice inside (with lovely view of canals) and the live music (Sat night) was a fun extra we didn’t expect.

LRH is an outstanding example of a restaurant located in the hotel that will exceed your expectations. Twice. The chef deserves compliments what are all truly earned. Nobody at our birthday dinner party of 16 was disappointed. Jamie the head bartender and our server did incredible work keeping us all happy and especially attending to the birthday boy. We had most pleasant dining experience. Every item form pretzels, salads and stakes we ordered were wonderful.

FM Smoke House is a contemporary dining gem that beautifully marries rustic Texas comfort food with an impressive selection of local craft beers. Owned by Christi and Brian Rudolph, who also run the Holy Grail Pub in Plano, this airy restaurant features a sleek yet homey atmosphere.
The meat plates are pretty good, but the tacos are AMAZING! My friend loved the pulled pork and I the chicken. I could do shots of the lime sauce they give you. Beer selection is outstanding too. Friendly staff who's clearly still learning, but the effort is there.

Initially, there's a lot to like about this place. Cool atmosphere and a good beer selection on tap. The brisket is delicious (and what KEPT me coming back). The biggest knock on this place is the awful service. I've been there multiple times within the past three months - just to see if I might have caught a bad lunch/night. Nope. On one occasion, the bartender, when asked to swap someone's wine by the waiter, responded to the waiter with "How about telling her she can EFF OFF!" It's a real bummer about this place. I've brought friends on multiple occasions because I really dig the atmosphere and the food is good (a bit pricey, but good). But after my last visit, I won't be returning and will be advising my BBQ-crazed friends the same. Food can't outdo terrible service.

FM Smoke House has a nice bar and many local beers on tap. The decor is modern and clean. I arrived Wednesday evening around 6:30 and had to wait 5 minutes for a table since it was busy. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with the bacon mashed potatoes. The dish is served with the steak on top of the mashed potatoes and it is all smothered in gravy. Food was fresh and hot. Gravy was way too salty and when mixed with the bacon mashed potatoes was off the chart too salty. The other issue was that the fried batter on the steak became a soggy mess in no time. What made the entire dish terrible was the over-whelming taste of the smoked rib eye. I could not taste the steak but rather just the smoke favor and this got old very fast. I would like to think that not every thing on the menu is this bad but unfortunately I'll never know since I don't plan to go back.

Decor is very minimal & efficient. Interesting menu choices, Tex-Mex mostly. Huge selection of beers, draft and bottle. Generous portions. I enjoyed the Smoked brisket stuffed relleno pepper. Just hot enough for me. The smoked corn side was wonderful. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Would have liked to try the ghost pepper chili but I was stuffed.

Beer selection is easily best in Irving. I'm usually found at the bar, and the staff is fantastic. Though they get random busy nights due to the nearby hotels. Usually quiet otherwise. Food is really good with only a few misses. Recommend the brisket stuffed rellano, beer can chicken, or frito pie. Surprisingly, skip the BBQ plate. Definitely a great place to go on a weeknight or after work for a drink. Usually have a pint night on Wednesdays (take home glass).

Here's what happens when hipsters do BBQ. 1. You get a good beer selection (thus, both of them stars up there). 2. You get ignored for the better part of your time there, and the food ends up coming on tiny, odd shaped plates, and, worst of all, 're-interpreted'. I've often viewed 're-interpreted' as 'Packaged differently, with WAY MORE SPICES than you need'. Everyone is looking to take something great and make it 'memorable'. Well, I remember. I ordered the Brisket Stuffed Poblano. And while it certainly came out 'take a photo and social-media-share-it' pretty, none of it tasted like brisket. It tasted like a deep fried poblano pepper with a gravy meat mix in it that had way too much pepper and salt to taste the meat. The wife ordered the Brisket Chili with Biscuit and Cheese. It's a small pot with meat, some tomato sauce (that might better have been used on pasta), one biscuit, and a little cheese across the top. It actually tasted better when we mixed the over-salted beans that came with my dish into it, and she added the cheese that we had to wait 10 minutes to flag down someone to go get for us. $40 later, I was hungry, charged for 1 more beer than I ordered, and longing for BBQ. If you want BBQ and are in that area, go to the Hard 8. Thank me later. If you are able to get around in Dallas and want BBQ, go to Pecan Lodge. You'll be ruined forever, but do it. Don't waste your time here. And trust me, with the speed of the staff here, you'll have lots of time to waste.
Kevin M — Google review
I was there in March and didn't mind being stranded there a few extra hours due to a snow/ice storm. Great beer selection, friendly bartenders, and delicious food. I had the brisket stuffed relleno, which was incredible. Definitely would recommend. I will be back the next time I'm back in the Dallas area.

I have no idea what the positive reviewers here were eating. I got a 3 meat plate with brisket, sausage and ham. The brisket was cold, chewy, flavorless, poorly marinated and unfortunately plentiful. The sausage was uninspired. The ham was gristly and rubbery. The sides were lukewarm, and had a little bit of greasiness to them. If there is only one thing on the plate that doesn't hold up to standards, I might complain about it. In this case, there was no reason to complain because there is obviously no cook in the kitchen with the ability to fix it. My advice? Get the accountant the hell out of the kitchen.

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Carolyn, The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge is a must-visit destination for both locals and travelers in Las Colinas. This vibrant spot offers an inviting atmosphere with bar seating and poolside dining, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a refreshing drink. Guests can unwind in cozy cabanas or lounge by the lakeside pool while sipping on spritzes, highballs, and frozen cocktails.
🍹🍗 Top-tier service, chill vibes, and a must-try mango drink—Lake House delivers. First time here, and I had a great experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and seated right at the bar. Water with ice and a menu came out immediately—simple but important touches, especially for a first-time guest. I ordered a couple drinks and a meal, and my server—Anthony, the bar attendant—was excellent. Despite being busy, he remained patient, informative, and focused. Every guest who came up to him got the same level of attention. That kind of service stands out. I went with the popcorn chicken with sweet chili glaze and a side of potato tots. The chicken hit the spot—crispy, flavorful, and finished to the last bite. Didn’t quite finish the tots, but they were solid too. The atmosphere was relaxed, diverse, and full of good energy. You’ve got families, poolside guests, and travelers all blending into a laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger. To cap things off, I asked Anthony for a drink recommendation—and he created a special mango-based cocktail that was honestly the perfect finish. I won’t spoil the details—just ask him for his “drink of the day” and thank me later. If you’re staying at the Omni or nearby, make a point to stop at The Lake House. And when you do—ask for Anthony. He’ll take care of you.

Lakehouse has a decent menu for being a hotel bar. It's mostly just handhelds and snacks but I'm sure they're pretty solid all around. I didn't see a menu posted online but after seeing it you'll probably end up spending around $20 per person just on food. They also don't have happy hour deals, which I feel is odd.

Bought a day pass and had a great day at the pool. Customer service (shout out to Kevin btw!!!!) is amazing, he was so attentive and very polite and friendly. You’ll get some pleasant background music, very family oriented and just an overall great experience. Will mostly definitely feel comfortable coming out solo, today I came out with the girls. Highly recommend to come out and relax. Oh, I almost forgot!!! AMAZING!!!!

Brought my laptop down from my room to finish up some work while I sip on something cool. I sat right in front of the cash register and the bartender (Saddie) did not even acknowledge me. 15 minutes elasped. While she was ringing up another customer she asked a guy that walked up next to me if he's waiting to be helped. I then mentioned that I'd like to order as well. She then replied, (without looking up from the register) to give her 2 moments. A lady sitting beside me also noticed the neglect and mentioned that I had been waiting for a while and the lack of service was "getting ridiculous". After finally ordering my Mango Margarita, another 10 minutes went by before the lady next to me reminded the bar staff that I was still waiting for my drink. Sitting at any bar and waiting a total of 25-30 mins for an overpriced drink is crazy. Never expected this type of service at an Omni! Unacceptable!

We got there 30mins before closing and they still gave us grade A service and the food and drinks were amazing if you don’t believe go try it but until then take a look at the amazing meals prepared for us. Ribs ( meat was falling off the bone) but the salmon meal took the cake it was delicious. We don’t eat food this good in California so until next time keep our seats warm because we are definitely coming back!!!

I will start with the bad.1 visit All of the food didn't come out hot. But the food was delicious. We ordered the meatloaf with mash potatoes and gravy, with broccoli. Also ordered the 12 ounce ribeye. It was okay. The rice was good. The baked potato was the best. The are heavy handed with the mixed drinks, which is a good thing!! The service and atmosphere was great as well. We will def come back for sure! This afternoon, second visit, we ordered cod fish with fries and the cod fish sandwich! Everything came out hot and fresh! It was amazing. The tartar sauce tastes homemade and delicious! Prices are great!

We had the worst experience. 1) the atmosphere was nice & place was clean 2) the young server kept calling me "babe"/"sweetheart" and given i understand its a nice thing to do.. I had to ask the server to stop bc it felt weird coming from a younger person 3) the steak was asked to be cooked to a medium & it came out rare 4) the steak was taken back & cooked to a medium rare -- we didnt ask for it to be corrected bc it was already cooked incorrectly twice 5) the smoke on the wing was good but flavors were limited 6)parking is shared with other businesses so it can be a little challenging This was rough for a 1st time visit here

Wow, everything was very good. Everyone loved their meal, and the appetizers were great. Prices were very decent as well. I absolutely recommend this place, and I will go back. I visit Dallas about four times a year. 09-17-25 - Back again for some good food and cold draft beer. Loved it once again. Service was great as well. New pix below. 06-20-2025 - Returned for another good meal. This time, I had chicken, fried steak, and a couple IPAs. The food was good, but the bartenders didn't know how to wipe down a bar.

Our Place Indian Cuisine is a simple yet inviting restaurant that offers a diverse menu featuring dishes from various regions of India. The family-friendly ambiance and reasonable prices make it an excellent choice for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine. From Gobi Manchuria to Chilly Pakoras and Cut Mirchi, the restaurant offers a delightful array of treats. The red walls and mafia movie posters create a unique atmosphere, while the aroma from the kitchen confirms its true identity as an Indian eatery.
Food is good and there’s plenty of options in the buffet. The idly is soft and the other North Indian food is delicious. There’s ice cream, soft drinks and South Indian food items. The dessert section needs improvement. There’s plenty of seating arrangements. The lighting inside needs some improvements. The staff is nice and attends the guests swiftly. Overall nice buffet which we will like to return again with friends and families.

Really enjoyed this restaurant! We had the deviled eggs and candied bacon for apps which were both delicious. Had the steak and chili potatoes for a main which were both very tasty too. The blackened shrimp were a bit too salty, but not enough to take a star away from the rest of the really well prepared meal.

In my mind I am blessing my brunch all over again! God knows that food and service was delicious. We had reservations for five at 11:15am, I can’t remember the young lady who waited on us BUT! She was simply amazing and even sang happy birthday to me… Keep shining over there, good food like this gets to the soul of man.

Will definitely return when back in the area. The food was absolutely delicious and my server was friendly and attentive. There was one small hiccup with my food order, a bun I ordered for my sandwich was not provided when the food arrived. When I mentioned it, a separate bun was brought out to replace the error. I was still charged an extra $2 for the bun, which i felt was a bit off. Had the smoked old fashioned which was great. I look forward to visiting again one day to sample some bourbon flights. This place was packed on a weekday, so I highly recommend a reservation. The whiskey cake was good, but in hindsight I wish I had eaten it at the restaurant and not ordered it to go. I think having it fresh, and the ingredients all together would have made for a better experience.

Arrived at 1:15pm and seated outside immediately. Was given a brunch menu so walked back to the front to get a lunch menu since wait staff was slow getting to table. Glasses and a bottle of cool water presented at table to share. Hanson could have used a lidded kids cup with straw, but he managed ok. Ordered chicken strips, Reuben, chili and a tavern burger. Chicken strips come out hot and crispy. Nice crunch. Fries are crispy outside and tender inside. Good seasoning. Well made Reuben sandwich with the bread presenting a perfect rye bite. Tavern burger was cooked a perfect medium as requested. Tender patty is not over compressed. Well made and flavorful burger. Have had the Whiskey cake dessert on a previous visit and it was delicious. Well known for their excellent liquor collection with a focus on whiskey. Full inventory book available on request. All whiskey served as 2oz pours.

I would specifically ask for him as a waiter every time I come back here.

Good seasonal food. Friendly server. Music was very loud. What the chefs did with the salmon was amazing(mildly spicy). And the pork chop melts in your mouth. House old fashion with single barrel whiskey tasted smooth. Great experience overall.

Came for a business lunch around 11:30 am and was seated with no issues. The waiter took a while to come back after we were talking business and weren’t ready to order. Seemed like they almost forgot about us for a while when ordering and paying. The food was delicious though, ordered the candied bacon for the appetizer. I got the fish and chips. I was not expecting a whole fish! It was very delicious though. I did substitute the French fries for the vegetables, which was a great choice. It had a sauce to it with a few chilis which gave it a nice kick. Overall the food & atmosphere was great, but was a bit disappointed in the service especially since we were on a limited timeline since it was a business lunch.

Knife Italian Steak is an upscale steakhouse located at The Las Colinas Resort in Dallas. It offers a unique dining experience that combines the bold flavors of Texas with the exquisite tastes of Italy. The restaurant, led by Michelin-starred Chef John Tesar, infuses Italian influence into Texas cuisine to create a staple steak and Italian concept. The menu features a variety of dishes such as clams oreganata, squid ink bucatini, and lobster agnolotti.
I made reservations for this place on open table not realizing it’s inside the Ritz Carlton. You do have to put a card on file. I went during the week and it was a packed night. My only complaint is I wish we could’ve gotten a table more inward, instead we were seated next to the window and could feel the draft from the 20 degree temps outside. They start you off with bread then offer you a small sample from the chef and at the end you get another complimentary bite size treat. The food was good. They were able to accommodate my gluten free needs with two choices of pasta. I want to go back just to take pictures.
Phyllis W — Google review
The ambiance at Knife Italian is amazing, with couches and a lounge area that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. I came for dinner with my family and ordered a ton of appetizers, which were actually good. The bread and the cool salmon chip were highlights, and the margherita pizza, though simple, was enjoyable. For the entree, I had the spaghetti, and as basic as it is, I really liked it a lot. However, the pizza was burned badly, so overall, dinner would get four stars. The reason I'm giving Knife Italian three stars is because of my morning experience, which was absolutely horrible. My parents and I came for the breakfast buffet, which we heard is some of the best in the city. They had croissants, an omelette bar, and everything you'd expect. I got an omelette, some eggs, croissants, and bagels--typical breakfast buffet indulgence. Despite the good service and appealing setup, the eggs were horrible. So horrible, in fact, that they even out this review to three stars. After eating the eggs, I became really sick, and I'm still sick while writing this review. Overall, combining my dinner and breakfast experiences, I give Knife Italian three stars.

The staff here truly make the experience unforgettable! Everyone I encountered was incredibly sweet and genuinely caring. I came in solo for lunch with a book, and my server thoughtfully brought over a complimentary bread and fruit platter while I waited for the lunch menu to begin—such a kind gesture. I ordered the cacio e pepe pasta, and it was absolutely to die for. 10/10 recommend! Located inside the Ritz, this restaurant definitely lives up to the high standards you’d expect—especially when it comes to service

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Knife, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The design of the restaurant is fantastic, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a beautiful and comfortable space. The food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity, bursting with flavor and presented with artistic flair. The menu offered plenty of food and drink options, ensuring that there was something to satisfy every palate. The service was impeccable. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, making sure that we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. It was evident that the chef takes great pride in their work, and the passion for creating exceptional food shone through in every bite. My wife and I brought another couple here for a birthday celebration. Considering the Ritz Carlton brand, we were expecting an elevated "fine" dining experience...but the evening fell short in just about every aspect. Our waitress greeted the table by asking, "Who is Kristine?" - followed by a "Happy Birthday" delivered with the same energy as your doctor telling you "It's cancer." I can't imagine that the beverage manager has ever been in a high-end bar, because the drink options were basic and unappealing (not to mention almost $20 each). Our drinks were delivered after a 30-minute wait (the restaurant was empty save for us and two other tables) and our server seemed like her family was being held at gunpoint behind the kitchen door - curt, almost rude, and at times condescending. It always felt like we were interrupting something else she was doing. We were provided two "complimentary" appetizers, but as we didn't order them (and they didn't ask) the dishes were bizarre and unseasoned. Especially the artichoke dip, which was provided in a bowl with a spoon...I guess we were supposed to eat it by itself?! It felt like we had to fight the whole evening to receive even mediocre service. Considering we spent close to $600 on the meal, the whole situation seemed pretty outrageous. After trying to bring this to management's attention, they didn't seem to care - this place doesn't want your business, so don't give it to them. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I walked in to this restaurant at my hotel, as my dinner plans had fallen through. I was seated right away with no reservation as a solo diner. The bread at the bread service (free) was delicious! I ordered the cacio e pepe and asked them to go lighter on the pepper so that I could pepper to taste, and it came out exactly as I requested. It was surprisingly expensive to add a tiny piece of chicken ($12) to the pasta dish ($25). It tasted fine. I was not offered the amuse bouche or complimentary sweet treat at the end that others mention in their reviews—perhaps they do not do this for solo diners. That was a little disappointing. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Food service is purposefully paced slowly, but if you want a quicker pace you only need to ask and they will definitely try their best to honor your time. The restaurant itself was lovely, if a little on the dark side. This particular Ritz (in which the restaurant is located) is a very family friendly resort, so you could get seated next to loud unruly children. I was originally seated next to a family with a toddler shrieking Alicia Keys’ Girl On Fire (with only bemused laughter from both of her parents) and another child running around the neighboring tables. I discreetly requested a quieter table and the staff happily obliged.

Bakery
Argentinian restaurant
Cafe
Argentina Bakery is a family-run Argentinian bakery and coffeehouse located in Irving. It's a hidden gem among the local coffee shops, offering an expansive menu of delicacies from morning till night. The bakery serves delicious single-origin espresso with subtle hints of fruit flavors and features handmade confections like pastries, pies, and empanadas. The friendly staff can help you navigate through their offerings, which include Argentine-style empanadas and assorted baked goods served hot from the heated pastry case.
Amazing bakery! Everything we tried was delicious. And what a bargain. The treats were the right size and priced right! Their empanadas looked so good. We will be back for those. There's a nice happy vibe about the place. We had room to enjoy our drinks and our pastries. They were doing a brisk cake order pickup when we were there. The cakes looked delicious.

First timer here and will definitely be coming back weekly!! They have the best coffee in the DFW. The empanadas are to die for and they have a large variety of Argentinian pastries. They also have personal pizzas with a super unique taste to them. Definitely recommend. The staff were helpful in guiding me through the menu. Overall good experience

MUST GO!! This cute little hole in the wall has amazing empanadas, breakfast, and sweets to die for! I selected a few random items to try and I was not disappointed! Everything was a fair price, the service was absolutely outstanding, and the food is absolutely delicious! Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be coming back!

Absolute hidden gem! I've been in Irving for 15 years and just found this place. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the cases are full of beautiful cakes, cookies, pastries and the coffee is delicious! Definitely adding to my regular spots

I love this place! Great selection of Argentine pastries. The ladies were very helpful and patient with my order. I tried their brisket empanadas along side their new coco-dragon refresher and it’s better than starbucks!😁Will definitely be back for more sweets.

Can you say excellence? They nailed the ambience of an authentic Argentinian bakery. Our pastries were delicious 👌🏽 They take great pride in their work. Run don't walk!

Quaint coffee bar and bakery. In business for 20 years, featuring a plethora of in-house fresh bakes, including pastry, flan, and empanadas. Quinceanera cakes, wedding cakes, birthday cakes available.

This place is a must-try. I grabbed a passion fruit cheesecake and a chocolate-covered alfajor — and wow, both were insanely delicious 😍. The cheesecake was creamy with just the right tang, and the alfajor? Total chocolatey perfection. 🍫✨ They’ve got a great variety of pastries that’ll make you want to try one of everything. Whether you're into fruity, flaky, or rich and chocolatey, there's something here that'll hit the spot. Would recommend this place any day of the week — your taste buds will thank you! 🙌💯

The restaurant has gained popularity over the years and now has a second location in Las Colinas. Chef Soohoon Suzimura Chi brings his expertise from working in Japanese and Korean restaurants for a decade to create delicious dishes.
This place is amazing and one worth supporting and keeping alive! The rolls are amazing and trust me we are sushi enthusiasts! Our entire family of 3 people ate and drank tea plus their amazing boba tea and all that we were at $50 for our entire dinner. I would be coming here again for sure.

hooooooooooooooooooly cow. this is not sushi - it's mushy. had the baked salmon roll - ewwww never again. tasted like they took walmart frozen salmon and "baked" it - might have even been microwaved. tried to redeem it with their other rolls like the salmon roll - ewww noooo the salmon looked fresh but tasted old. i won't be coming back and if you're trying to find sushi, don't do it here. spend thrice the price elsewhere if you have to. if you're thinking to come for the soups - I had the chicken udon a separate time and I was not a fan. the broth had sugar and the chicken looked like stuff i'd give my dog. it was not appetizing nor well presented.

The food is tasty and well-prepared, definitely worth trying. Service is decent, though nothing extraordinary. The restaurant itself is quite small, with limited seating, and unfortunately there’s no outdoor or patio option. On the plus side, parking is very convenient since it’s located in a strip mall with plenty of free spaces.

Great dinner here last Friday evening. They were busy but got all our food out very quickly! Everything was great. I recommend the Monster Roll- delicious! Also, their hand rolls are really good and come with a cool presentation.

I love this place and I will keep coming back! I always love to get the special with ramen and sushi! I forgot to take pictures of the sushi but it is always so fresh and delicious! They also have broccoli that you can get as an appetizer and it is so yummy and crunchy. My whole group loved it. This place is pretty small and seating is limited. Prices are pretty good and everything we’ve had there has been yummy!
Bekah R — Google review
Maki Boy is everything you want in a simple Asian meal. The portions are huge, the food is excellent, and the entire place smells awesome! The fried rice dishes might need a pinch of salt or msg, but the textures, flavors, and oils are wonderful. The spicy pork might be the best thing on the menu. Tofu costs $3 extra as of November 2023, but there are vegetarian dishes even without tofu. Service is pretty lacking but that's their business model. You have to order at the front, then find a table in a very small area, and a cook will bring out your food. Nobody will ever check how you're doing minus water refills. That aside, it's an excellent place and I'd eat here any time!
Michael B — Google review
Great food and atmosphere. Prices are great and show how good sushi doesn't need a ridiculous price tag. Had to go back a couple of days later to make sure it was not a fluke. Nope, it was good then, too. Florida and Texas roll are a must try!
Ry Z — Google review
I got the combination fried rice, Florida roll, and the tofu chicken soup. They were all amazing!! Absolutely filled with flavor. The Florida roll was creamy and delicious. The tofu chicken soup came boiling 🥵 but it was so good! I also got a mini chicken bowl for my lil sister. The prices are amazing! Especially with everything being so expensive these days!

Sushi restaurant
Mr Max Izakaya Restaurant is a cozy and relaxed spot with traditional Japanese seating and a sushi bar. It offers a variety of sake options along with tapas. Despite the passing of its founder, Hare Nakamura, the restaurant continues to thrive after three decades. Located in an Irving strip mall, it provides a range of cold and hot appetizers, grilled seafood, and delectable fried treats like takoyaki.
To say I was blown away by this place is an understatement. On the outside, it looks like any run-of-the-mill place to get some good Japanese food. But inside, you are treated to an absolute spectacular time. I was taken here for my birthday by a friend. We got here at 530, and it was already almost an hour wait. The wait was absolutely worth the time though. All of the food was fresh and delightful. The service was prompt, curteous, and fast. My head spun with how quickly the kitchen worked to get out such amazing food so quick. The atmosphere inside of here is jovial as well. An absolutely wonderful place to kick back with friends over a Sapporo & some Takoyaki. Make it a point to come here. Immediately.

We got lucky walked right in and a table was available for our party of 4. We took off our shoes and got seated right away. The service and food were amazing. Very authentic food. Our order was immediately served after ordering. The prices were very low for the quality and taste of the food. We had 3 different ramen bowls and each were so delicious. We ordered the miso marinated salmon which was to die for... it was so delicious. Every bite was so good and the service was amazing. I highly recommend this place for the experience and great food.

You won't find any better izakayas in Dallas or San Diego. So far all of my Japanese friends agreed to my statement. I go to San Diego and Japan every month and go to a lot of different izakayas all over but this place could be better than some of the ones in Japan and I'm not exaggerating! I couldn't dine here for over 4 years since it's always booked up but I found out that you can just walk in right at 5p. I love the staff and atmosphere too❤️
Coco M — Google review
I almost drove away coming up to the modest store front — a mistake I never would have appreciated. Food, service, atmosphere… have I mentioned the food? I ordered ramen, (off menu) fish collar, and the chefs trio appetizer — I’m still debating whether to ignore the physical boundaries of my stomach to order more… I’m coming back and telling nobody to keep the crowd at bay (except my friends on Google). Well done.
Jeffrey B — Google review
The interior feels and looks like a seasoned izakaya bar which in total contrast with the exterior. The food was very tasty and all the flavors were very balanced. It’s a popular and a small place so be ready for some wait and arrive early. Kitchen closes 30 mins before the posted time, so arrive early.
Fansntt — Google review
Definitely make a reservation and don’t be discouraged if they don’t have any openings for months. The wait is completely worth it. Everything we ordered was amazing and the service was great. It was also incredibly well priced. We can’t wait to go back.
Amy R — Google review
This place was good and decent. It is very small so be prepared to hear everyone’s conversations and sit shoulder to shoulder with people. The food had good flavor nothing amazing, but the portions are small. When the bowl came out I thought “wow this is a small portion for the price”. I didn’t take a picture of it but also got their salted salmon rice sandwich. I don’t understand why they named it that, because it made me think something else was coming out. It was just an onigiri. But the salmon had no flavor and the ratio of salmon to rice was pretty absurd. It was basically all rice with some salmon, very disappointing.

The service was just as excellent as the food. The staff were attentive, friendly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Authentic taste that was so comforting. Highly recommend.

Taj Chaat House is a popular fast-food joint offering a wide variety of vegetarian snacks and curries from both North and South India, catering to Jain and vegan dietary preferences. The menu boasts an extensive selection of chaat, a genre of Indian street food known for its delicious little snacking options.
If you're looking for bold flavors, authentic Indian street food, and an unforgettable culinary experience, Tag Chaat House is the place to go. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared spices. The chaat selection is top-notch – perfectly balanced between tangy, spicy, and sweet. Their Dahi Puri is an absolute must-try – crispy shells, flavorful water, and fresh fillings that burst with every bite. I also had the Pav Bhaji, and it was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor, served with soft, toasted buns that were just perfect. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a relaxed meal with friends. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. You can tell they put a lot of heart into their food. Highly recommend Tag Chaat House – it's a hidden gem that deserves all the love. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Experience of ordering and dining area is pleasant. Food quality can be improved. The price of the items are reasonable however the Dosa or other South Indian food taste require some improvement. The North Indian snacks tastes good. The staff is nice and ample parking outside. Would like to return here for some chaat options only.

I used to hear that this restaurant’s quality of food had gone down in the past but something has changed and yesterday we had some very good Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki and Bhel. Even the strong filter coffee was great. People practicing Jain religion, Vegans Andalous vegetarians have good options here.

Quick fast dining or to go. Finally found my place for Dahi puri and vada pav. I’ve tried other places and they were bland. This packed a lot of spices and flavor and moist. I love the sauces that accompany the Dahi puri and use it for the vada pav as well. I’m so glad someone told me about this place.
L P — Google review
We tried a variety of dishes at Taaj Chaat House — pav bhaji, masala dosa, masala buttermilk, vada pav, and mixed chaat. The dosa and mixed chaat were absolute standouts — 10/10! Highly recommended for those. However, the pav bhaji and vada pav didn’t quite hit the mark for us, and while the masala buttermilk was refreshing, we’ve had better elsewhere. On the plus side, the food came out super fast, the staff was friendly, and the restrooms were clean — which is always appreciated. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving good chaat and dosa!

We were looking for a Chicago Pizza place, and this was the spot. From the moment we walked in, we were able to be seated and look over the menu. The man was very kind and helpful with asking about serving sizes and what he recommended. The pizza tasted AMAZING, and our kiddos loved the pasta. The restroom wasn't the cleanest, but the food was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back when we visit Dallas again.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered from this place expecting a decent meal, but instead, I was served a dead fly buried right in my food. This is not just unacceptable—it’s a complete health hazard. The fact that this passed through the kitchen and was served to a paying customer shows a complete lack of hygiene, quality control, and basic respect for people’s health. I’m shocked and disgusted that any food establishment could allow something like this to happen. Not only did it ruin my appetite, but I had to worry about the health risks after accidentally consuming part of the dish before noticing. There was no accountability, no proper apology, and certainly no standards being followed in that kitchen. If you care about your health and hygiene, do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else. This was the first and definitely the last time I’ll ever order here.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is a laid-back pizzeria chain located in Brooklyn. They specialize in serving delicious brick-oven pizzas and calzones, along with a selection of wine and beer. Situated at the Toyota Music Factory, this family-friendly restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. The thin crust pizzas are cooked using coal-fired brick ovens, giving them a perfect charred flavor.
We came in on a Sunday evening and the place was completely empty. We were seated at a table slightly tucked away but with a clear view of the restaurant. Tony was our server, and we got amazing service. Great recommendations on bar drinks, pizza and appetizers. We got the Italian margaritas, and The Don pizza. Tony was very knowledgeable on the menu and history of the company. Fast, friendly service. Where we were seated we could see the pizza being prepped, the dough being hand tossed and popped in the oven. It eventually picked up business wise but Tony never forgot I'm about us or gave us bad service. Overall 10/10 ⭐

Pizza was great. Apple walnut salad was lacking flavor. My main issue was with the handling of the check. Is it typical protocol for servers to have customers review the check and present the handheld device down on the table while they watch you pay and tip? As a server myself, I find this very off-putting and in poor taste. Our service was honestly worth a 15% tip but she hovered while my husband felt obligated to click 20%.

Worst Customer Service I’ve Had in Years I’ve ordered 100+ pizzas from Grimaldi’s Las Colinas — always for delivery through grubhub. This was my first time dining in with my wife, mom, and toddler. It was a disaster from start to finish. We ordered two pizzas: • BBQ Chicken • Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) with prosciutto Instead, three pizzas showed up: the BBQ Chicken (correct), a white pizza with arugula and prosciutto (completely wrong), and eventually the four cheese — missing prosciutto. The manager came over and said, “I don’t know how all three pizzas will fit.” That’s when I told him we only ordered two. He took one back, then returned with the white pizza and prosciutto — arugula scraped off, a few pieces still clinging to the cheese — and claimed it was “the same as” the four-cheese pizza. It’s not. That lie stuck with me, so I had the waiter bring him back. I calmly explained again that it’s not the same pizza. He stood there stunned, then tried to justify it by saying he was only charging us for two pizzas — including the one we didn’t want. Instead of simply apologizing and doing the obvious (comp the error), he got defensive and started arguing. I said, “Just do the right thing” His response? “Will do, buddy.” — completely condescending. Later, the server came back visibly annoyed, dropped boxes on the table, and rushed us out. When I asked to speak with the manager again, she refused, raised her voice, accused us of trying to get free food, and caused a scene. I said nothing and calmly asked again. Eventually, the manager returned like nothing had happened. I told him I still wanted dessert — which I’d mentioned earlier — and he brought it. Still no apology. We paid (no itemized receipt), were never thanked or apologized to, and were treated like a nuisance the entire time. No accountability. No professionalism. No decency. Delivery only from now on — and even that’s questionable.

Captain Nemo's Steak Submarines is a beloved sandwich shop that has been serving up delicious steak subs on their signature housemade bread since the 1970s. Many patrons have fond memories of visiting Captain Nemo's throughout their lives, making it an irreplaceable part of their childhood and local culture.
So I grew up in Irving, this place will forever be imprinted in my childhood memories. It is still the only one in the world, there are no substitutes. The location is the same as it always has been. My grandparents always got the original, can’t go wrong.

Had the double corned beef with spicy mustard and grilled green peppers and onions. Bread held up well with all of the condiments. Should have gotten single meetings that are double. Definitely could have used more mustard or some mayo. If I get a chance before they close, I'll have to try the steak.
ANTONIO G — Google review
Not a bad sandwich spot, and definitely a different take from the chains. I was admittedly excited when I stumbled across this place and saw the steak sandwiched. I stopped in for lunch and was blown away at the generous portion size of a double, especially thinking of the standard footlong sandwich. Upon devouring the sandwich I found the bread was delicious and freshly baked, the amount of steak on the sandwich was disappointing and standard streak sandwich toppings cost extra. Having to pay extra to add cheese to a steak sandwich doesn't seem right, especially when it is drowning in lettuce and tomatoes. In retrospect I would have opted for a smaller size with extra meat. I may give them another try in the future with this in mind. The spot is quiet and the service is good though. You could definitely do much worse.
Shawn — Google review
Won't be back. I ordered two meals, $33. And that's ok, if the quality and service are good. I ordered a sandwich which comes with onion, and asked for tomato instead. It came with neither, and also without the two slices of cake I ordered. Ok, we make mistakes. I politely pointed both out to the server, and she returned with the two paper thin half slices of tomato in the picture. For an $11 sandwich. I don't know what I did to her, but this is ridiculous.

I see many good reviews which I don't understand. The cost of the large charcuterie board is 63 but it had little meat and cheese and filled with nuts even sunflower seeds which were difficult to incorporate ( so we used honey on a cracker to pick them up). The board seemed worth it until you realize the portions are stacked. The service was not good. Had to ask everytime for more .. more beer.... More wine .. The location was really empty so bad service was unexpected. They only had 2 house white wines. They don't answer their phone either. The posted times are wrong.. we tried to go 2 previous times. Just sad for such potential.

This is definitely my new wine spot! I drive about 40 minutes just to go here. The bartenders/servers are so incredibly friendly. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you come in. The owner is a blast and very informative on different types of wines. I’ve been here multiple times - a few times just for drinks and another time to eat with my daughter. We both enjoyed our food (cheeseboard, salad, kids chicken tenders) but she was obsessed with their tiramisu. I highly recommend this cute wine bar.

I don't feel like we got a very good sense for this place because I was the only one eating and it was their brunch menu. With that said, the NOLA style shrimp and grits with the sausage were delicious. I honestly would have been happy just with the grits and sausage but the shrimp was good too. The atmosphere was lively and everyone there seemed to know each other and it was like people were just kind of hanging out and having a good time. We'll be back to try more food! @DallasFoodFun

Nestled within the charming Texican Court boutique hotel, Two Mules Cantina is a must-visit dining spot in Las Colinas that perfectly blends Tex-Mex cuisine with a laid-back atmosphere. This urban-style restaurant boasts an inviting bohemian vibe, where guests can savor delicious dishes and refreshing cocktails either indoors or in the delightful outdoor beer garden. Picture yourself lounging on beanbag chairs by cozy fire pits while enjoying live music—a truly unique experience!
Great food and service in a vintage west atmosphere. I wasn’t happy about the parking situation (mandatory valet) but I enjoyed my enchiladas and the happy hour margaritas. Chips and dips were great as well. Service was fast and friendly and the place wasn’t too busy at all. I truly expected it to be busier.

This place is very cool! I don’t have the full details but the restaurant seems to be connected to a hotel. There’s even a chapel connected. It resembles a small 1968 country side town. The food is very fair in price and you must go for happy hour. 🍻 I recommend sitting outside when there is nice weather. Pictured is the loaded fries which are stuffed gator tots sprinkled with ground beef on top. I can say that there should be extra beef on top. But still not bad and very filling. I also got the starter chip trio which comes with salsa, guac and queso. I recommend coming to this place and I will be back for more visits! Instagram: im_alwayshungryy

We went on a Friday night at 7 pm and there was a live band that was ok, but not great. The place wasn’t very full but we were told we would have a 30 minute wait for a table. It was right at 30 minutes but then we didn’t get waited on for another 20 minutes once we were sat. The place was very cute on the outside and inside, but the menu was pretty limited. Chips and salsa were not complimentary. We had the trio dip which was chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was good, but it cost $13. We shared the fajitas which were $26 dollars and we had half beef and half chicken. The meat was really tender. It didn’t have sides (like no beans or rice), but it came with tortillas and small containers of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. I loved the salsa. It had a little bit of heat. The guacamole was chunky but no spice. Someone else at our table had the loaded tater tots, which looked good. I had a Diablo margarita that was very tasty but it didn’t have much heat. I have certainly had better Mexican food, but I have also had worse.

This place is a hidden gem. For a moment, we thought we were vacationing in Mexico. Service staff was friendly. Good food, great live music. It was a perfect place for a spontaneous date night for us.

Cornhole on the back patio with fires and nice ambiance. Plenty of seating inside. If you're just going for dinner at the restaurant, double check with the staff, they told us not to pay for the parking even though it does have signs that you're supposed to pay. Good drinks, nice happy hour. Our group didn't classify this as Tex-Mex, it had chicken fried steak and burgers on the menu. Overall good place though

Incredible! The chicken enchiladas were the best I've ever had, and the waiter was very helpful and personable. I'll definitely be back!

Went for brunch with a friend on a Saturday early afternoon. There was one person at the bar and two tables getting ready to leave when we arrived. The staff were standing at the bar talking. We were greeted when we walked up. We opted for seats at the bar as they tried to seat us right in front of the door where people were entering 🤔. We asked for pineapple mimosas and were given regular mimosas with orange juice. My friend can’t drink orange juice. The bartender caught his own mistake after a few mins and corrected it. We ordered the chicken fried steak with jalapeño mashed potatoes and gravy. When the food came we had to grab condiments from another table because we weren’t asked or offered anything else. The food was hot when it came out. The jalapeño in the mashed potatoes could cover the need for a little salt but passable. The chicken fried steak was mid 🤷🏽‍♀️. It was tender and crunchy on the outside. Asparagus was the star on the plate. That was pretty much the end of our service. We had to keep asking for a drink or to go boxes (asked three times). There were other tables by this point so we tried to give a little grace. However, when we couldn’t get any service, we asked for the check again multiple times. The host got upset that we asked for the manager who never showed up of course. The bartender kept walking back and forth didn’t acknowledge us or the other folks who had been sitting at the bar since before the rush. Only us and another two ladies. We had our two drinks long ago at this point and half our meals (literally fanning 🪰 waiting on boxes). We finally got our boxes and checks then left. We valeted here so we walked down the street to Gloria’s and got way better service. We will not be back

We were thoroughly impressed with both the breakfast and dinner at this restaurant—the food was outstanding. Our waiter, Mario, was incredibly attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. Everyone we encountered, both in the restaurant and throughout the hotel, was kind, gracious, and welcoming. It’s clear that this wonderful atmosphere is a reflection of the dedication and leadership of Nico, the manager. Highly recommended!

Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or simply looking to unwind with friends, The Ginger Man offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying light bites alongside your favorite brews.
Have stopped here a couple of times for an appetizer and drinks. The service hasn’t been the best but we love the area and the outdoor sitting. It’s a hit and miss with the parking but overall a good stop to freshen up with a good cold beer. First time trying their Half & Half 👌 I do recommend this place

Fantastic brunch. The chicken egg tacos did not leave me wondering which came first--it's the tortilla! Very tasty tacos with a nice side of fruit. All of the brunch options we tried had fruit. Their waffles are wonderful. The outdoor seating was nice on the shady side. I don't know if they do a lot of brunch business. They should because it's great food. Our service started strong but then kind of faded. I think our server and the bartender were the only staff there. It was a nice, chill time.

Stopped by here to have a beer while my wife was next door getting a massage. I ended up having three different ones while there. I like the fact that they have some beers on tap that I had earlier in the year while visiting Belgium. I was quite surprised when it came time to pay my bill and it came out to be cheaper than I expected. I believe I managed to stumble upon their happy hour. I really like the vibe, it has a dive pub feel while still being upscale. I have gone back a few times since. Definitely a good place to have beers with friends.

We missed our movie at Alamo because there was a concert at Toyota and picked a place at the canal to enjoy our evening. We weren’t dressed for anything fancy, so Ginger Man fit the occasion. The bar was quiet and peaceful, we had a good laugh with our bartender. Overall great service and great pours. The queso was delicious.

Was delighted to see a Ginger Man when I happened to be in Irving so I stopped in. Good beer selection, friendly staff. But I have to say, I was surprised when neither of the two beers I ordered were on Happy Hour - a sign above the bar said most draft beers are $1 off. I thought, what are the odds that both are not on HH? Turns out pretty good, as when they say "most" they mean roughly 10% of their beers (9/82). It's a couple bucks, so whatever - not some amazing sale, but if the sign has said "some" beers I would have inspected the menu to see which ones. Even your standard bulk beer like Coors Light is not on that list, very weird. I'd probably go back if in Irving again, but not for the HH. 🙄

Tried to sit down with my group of friends, but they wouldn’t even accommodate us. There were 7 of us, but we weren’t allowed to sit at a table for 5 nor 6. You’re not allowed to move the chairs when NO ONE was literally inside the restaurant. The way the guy at the bar said it was so rude and unwelcoming. We were all trying to sit down already, but we all left just because of the horrible attitude. Like it was such a hassle for them to serve us

Torchy's Tacos is a vibrant taco chain that has taken the culinary scene by storm, starting from its humble beginnings in Austin, Texas. Founded by Mike Rypka with just a food trailer and a red Vespa, this beloved eatery now boasts over 90 locations and has cultivated a loyal fanbase known as Taco Junkies. The secret to its success lies in the use of high-quality ingredients and the commitment to cooking each taco fresh to order.
Tried Torchy’s Tacos recently and overall, it was a really yummy experience! The Trio Dip (queso, guac, and salsa) was a definite highlight—super flavorful and perfect for sharing. That said, I really wish the queso had been hotter. It was barely warm, which was kind of a letdown because a hot queso just hits differently. I got the veggie bowl, and it was delicious—fresh ingredients and great flavor. The portion was on the smaller side, but the quality made up for it. The atmosphere was great—casual vibes—and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d go back to.

Torchy’s has always been our go to place for Tacos however never wrote a review. So finally, here it js. 5 star. The tacos and the sauces are the best at this price. Their cocktails are good so is their sides and queso. I never get tired of being here. My favorite is the Baja Shrimp Taco.

Great little spot. Interesting, you go in and order off of a pop-up menu. Be warned that the tacos look about three times the size they actually are, but they're not that expensive so order a couple. Tacos were delicious. They would do well to bring out a couple separate plates with share items like the queso and chips.

I don’t go to chain restaurants much, but Torchy’s is a great option. They are super creative with their regular and secret menu. Had not been in a while so did not know they have bowls now. I got the fire bowl. Spot on with many flavors. Their street corn can’t be passed up.

I got the slow roasted Angus brisket taco and the Mexi-Cali shrimp taco. Both were pretty good. They were packed with flavor. The Angus brisket taco was dripping in oil though, which was unnecessary to make it taste good. Would definitely order from here again.

This has got to be one of the best Fresh food Spots I've had an opportunity to eat. They are very attention to detail, customer service is Excellent and the Food is Outstanding!. I have celiac and gluten-free options are very good. Ordered a dish to eat in and decided to take another one back with me for the next day. Very pleased with the portion, the taste and the choices. I highly recommend this place and the fact that the Customer Service is top notch adds to the flavor!. Very much appreciated all, and the individual who took my order was extremely nice and personable. They were going to close early due to a water main break but allowed me to experience this wonderful place without being rushed. Recommend that if you're looking for top notch this is the place! Thank you to the Team!

Place is good. I’m giving it 3 stars even though it deserves 4.5 so my review gets acknowledged. The thing that really makes me annoyed is what they do to their sweet potatoes and they won’t modify it. I like to get the Thai coconut chicken bowl and I want Jasmine rice and sweet potato base. Problem is they ruin the sweet potatoes in a Cheyenne pepper and salty spice that completely ruins everything. I just want simple plain delicious sweet potato that isn’t mangled with spices to ruin it. Also if you don’t ask for the broccoli steamed and spiceless they also ruin that with unnecessary spices. You have to ask for modifications otherwise they ruin the dishes. Also even the Thai coconut sauce, I got it on the side and it comes to you hot. Why would the sauce be hot? It should be room temperature, no ifs and or buts. A sauce being too hot ruins the whole flavor and makes for it to be too potent overwhelming the dish. These are simple things to know. Juices are very solid. Acai bowl needs tweeking, the apple juice they blend it with is overwhelming and unnecessary. Way too sweet and not enough other ingredients that make for a good a good bowl

$2.50 additional charge for about 8 small chicken cubes. Do not like the value there. I came and ordered the same salad I saw someone else posted that looked good and mine didn’t look as appetizing. BBQ chicken salad without much bbq or chicken in the salad.

I cannot say enough great things about Chopshop! Two days ago, I had a meal where the rice and chicken were slightly undercooked, so I left a review. Within 10 minutes, the GM Jason personally reached out in the nicest way possible to ask about my experience and even offered me a coupon for my next visit. That level of care and responsiveness blew me away. I went back today and my meal was absolutely perfect, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The entire staff in the store is incredibly kind, and they prepare your meal so quickly without ever sacrificing quality. Downloading their app was also a game changer. It is very easy to navigate, helps you order ahead, and the rewards are amazing. Between the fantastic food, the warm and efficient team, and the way they go above and beyond for customers, they have truly earned a lifelong fan. I absolutely love this place and will keep coming back again and again!
Adam D — Google review
This place was meh. The salad was bland even with the dressing (which was minimal). Had a few pieces of chicken on it but even that didn't make the salad any better. The juice is just that juice, it didn't have any honey or sugar. So don't expect anything sweet from it if that's what you want.

Pax & Beneficia Coffee is a unique coffee shop in Dallas that serves both drip and pour over coffee. They also have delicious sweet and savory bites to accompany your drink. The cafe is located in the Las Colinas area of Irving, Texas.
Pax & Beneficia Coffee has such good vibes the moment you walk in—modern, bright, and welcoming, with plenty of cozy seating to relax or get some work done. The staff are friendly and the overall atmosphere feels calm yet energetic, making it a great spot to hang out. I tried a few different drinks, and one of my absolute favorites was the hibiscus tea—beautifully presented, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Their mocha was also rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, definitely a must-try if you’re into coffee. They also offer a good variety of specialty drinks, teas, and retail coffee bags if you want to take some home. ⭐ Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to explore different coffee places around town. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic like a mocha or want to switch it up with teas like hibiscus, Pax & Beneficia won’t disappoint!

We ordered the avocado toast which took around 20 mins to arrive at around noon. After all the wait, it turned out to be pretty disappointing. The toast was one slice half toasted and with a pretty mediocre paste of avocado. The toast was pretty tasteless. The passion fruit cold brew was decent but the cold foam was thick and it took a long time for the foam to actually melt. Lot of board games to play and ample space.

I was intimidated before coming here because I thought it would be too fancy and snooty, but that wasn't the case at all (in a good way!). The staff were so nice and even though I'm not a huge fan of hot coffee (I love cold brew), I decided to try the Turkish coffee and it was amazing! Not overly bitter and not ridiculously hot to where I had to wait forever to cool off. It is genuinely some of the best coffee I've ever had!

I recently discovered Tacomex Las Colinas and I can't believe I missed out on this hidden gem for so long. This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its inviting seating and pleasant atmosphere. For takeout, I decided to try their Chorizo Egg and A La Mexicana breakfast tacos, which were promptly prepared. The tacos were both piping hot and scrumptious, served with a unique sauce for each one.
Amazing food, my husband said it’s the most authentic he’s had, the flavor is amazing! It was spicy for me but so is sugar lol but it does give a nice little kick

The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. We tried the egg tacos and chicken fajitas—both were delicious. It’s officially our go-to spot now! We missed out on their famous chicken tacos this time, but we’ll definitely try them next time. The red sauce is flavorful with just the right amount of spice
Tejaswi K — Google review
This place offers a no-fuss, seat-yourself dining experience that feels casual yet efficient. We placed our order at the counter and quickly found a spot to sit. The service was impressively fast, and they even brought out complimentary chips and salsa while we waited — a nice touch that set the tone for a satisfying meal. We ordered a torta, flautas, crispy tacos, and a cheeseburger, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The torta stood out the most — it was rich, flavorful, and reminded me of the ones I’ve enjoyed in Mexico. The ingredients felt fresh and authentic, and the seasoning was just right. The crispy tacos and flautas had a perfect crunch, and even the cheeseburger held its own, which is impressive considering it’s not the star of a Mexican menu. What I appreciated most was the genuine feel of the food — no shortcuts, just real, comforting, Mexican flavors in a laid-back setting. If you're in or around Irving, this is a solid stop for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a local, even if you’re just passing through. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.

Although initially excited by the great reviews, my experience at this restaurant fell short of expectations. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food quality was very average and portions were smaller than anticipated. The taste didn't quite match up to the hype. Restaurant
Edoko Omakase in Las Colinas offers an extensive menu with hot plates, cold plates, robata, nigiri, and maki. The omakase experience is available at the sushi bar and features the chef's choice of nigiri. Chef Keunsik Lee brings a thoughtful menu that reflects his Korean heritage and Texas influences, such as incorporating wasabi into salsa verde or topping a spicy tuna roll with guacamole and yucca chips.
Edoko Omakase is such a wonderful sushi restaurant in the Las Colinas area. I stopped by for lunch while I was in town for work, and was so satisfied that I went back for dinner at night. I opted for the omakase at dinner which was spread across 6 courses (including dessert). The star of the show is definitely Chef Jun's nigiri. His craft is immaculate. The fish is fresh, there's a perfect amount of variety, and it's not overbearing with sauce or toppings so you can appreciate the fish. I think the 5-piece nigiri sampler is perfect for someone who wants to experience something a little different than just rolls. I would've loved to see a larger nigiri-focused menu option, but I think the 5+ a la carte also works perfect. For the first couple dishes, I think the presentation could use a bit of flair (particularly the chawanmushi). I'm also not a huge fan of aspic, but that's more personal. The Foie Gras Risotto was delicious, although quite a bit of a jump in umami/flavor than the more mild appetizers. Sara and her team are wonderful and you can tell the passion they put into the business! Will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

I visited this restaurant while on a business trip nearby, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Everything exceeded my expectations — both in taste and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I wish I took more pictures! This sushi spot was an absolute delight all around - from service to food quality to price point. My friends and I came during my lunch and we got a variety of appetizers to start. The highlight was the Okra tempura, something I've never seen before as a Japanese food regular. The nigiri bento Box was up next, and the quality of the fish for the cost was unparalleled. We each got six pieces- tuna, salmon, flounder, black tiger shrimp, snapper (real snapper!), and saba. The food was so good that we decided to also order some extra nigiri and appetizers afterwards and the entire experience will be a memorable one. Can't recommend enough!

This is the most reasonably priced HIGH quality sushi place we have found in Dallas area. We come here for special events and the service has always been amazing. We have never needed reservations. Last time we tried the full tasting menu which is the way to go! They also have an all nigiri tasting which we will do next time for sure. Highlights: the oysters with caviar were surprisingly our favorites. Dress is pretty casual so this is perfect if you just want to relax and eat delicious sushi.

This spot is a hidden gem. That sushi rice flavor and texture is excellent. The fish specials are flown in from Japan and chef says they have the same supplier as Hatsuyuki. Food style and quality is excellent. It is simple and elegant in a more true edo style sushi. Contrary to alot of other spots the flavors aren't drowned in mayo based sauces. Their new menu items were a great hit for my tastes. Texture and flavors are awesome I recommend the fries green beans especially. Their tempura is lightly battered and deliciously crispy. Chef sent out a small osecchi box that had some fun pickled dishes to go with the bottle of sake I ordered. Speaking of sake. Edoko easily has one of the best sake selections in dfw. The sakes would all be highly rated in Japan and they range across all spectrums of the sake taste profile. I'd honestly go just to sit at the bar and drink their sake menu down. Rec would be the dassai 45 as they pour it from 1.8!

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Las Colinas is a stylish and inviting theater that caters to both new releases and classic films, making it a beloved destination for movie enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of the Los Colinas entertainment district, this intimate venue offers an impressive selection of artisan films alongside popular blockbusters. Guests can enjoy a unique experience with seat-side service featuring creative bites and refreshing cocktails, perfect for enhancing your cinematic adventure.
Great time watching my son's movie premiere, "Polaroid." Merik McDonald and several other seniors from New Tech High School viewed their class films at this theater. From start to end, the experience was great. Alamo showed a very clean facility, and the serving staff was very professional and quick in their service. Indeed, this place is really good to hold group events at. 5-Star rating all around

Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas was a great experience. In addition to the theater, they have a bar with a patio overlooking the courtyard, which is perfect for people watching and enjoying the weather. The reclining seats are very comfortable, and the wait staff are quick to assist upon initial check-in before the film begins. My only caveat is that the staff don’t check in as often during the movie. I was only able to order one drink over the hour and thirty minutes I was there. It would’ve been nice to order dessert and another drink toward the end of the movie. Overall, I’d definitely go again.

I'm very lucky to have a movie theater really close to me & enjoyed my experience there somewhat but that didn't come with some problems I had. The parking was very hard to find and had to find a garage to park. My friend found an easy one and that's fine, but My friend and I was exploring the theater, only to be told that the bar was a private event and we weren't allowed in by somone that didn't wear a uniform or nametag.. okay, weird but fine. Found the counter to get out tickets and was a friendly person there for us to show where our theater was. We did find our seats but was kinda hard with the lighting.. and when we were trying to order food, we didn't know how to untill the trailers were playing, which was pretty late with the lights having dimmed down already. Overall I was pretty excited about this place & the movie played well, but the inconveniences before definitely dropped points for me with my 1st Alamo visit..🫤

Wonderful theater and very friendly staff. Food was also good but drinks were quite pricy. Went for a special 40th Anniversary "party" screening of Back to the Future and had a great time!

I went to almo drafthouse tonight to catch a movie. I always go to this theater because it's a few blocks from my home. Our server picked up everybody's order about 5 minutes after the movie started, including mine. 30 mins after the movie started, I noticed everybody on my row had their drinks and full meals. Guess who didn't have their large popcorn...ME! So now 10 more mins passed with people ordering 2nd drinks. I'm trying to get the servers attention for my 1 large popcorn, but he is pretended not to see me. So, I had to flag another server down to tell him I ordered a popcorn 40 mins ago and everyone around me eating full meals. At this point, keep your popcorn!! You don't want to serve the only black person on the row,ok. Alamo will not get another dime of my money. As you can see, my table is empty but everybody else got served.

My daughter and I visited for the first time tonight. Most entrances to the parking around the complex and theater were coned off for an event, so we had a very hard time figuring out where to park. After circling for 10-15 minutes, we finally resorted to parking in a garage that says $10 for 2 hours, $55, or get validated". We had to park on the 4th floor and were almost late to our movie. The ticket counter person told me to scan a QR code for parking validation. Once seated in the theater, we asked 3 different servers for a glass of water. After about 30 minutes I got up and went out to the bar and found a manager. She was extremely helpful and gave me the water. I shared frustrations about the parking, service, etc. and she was very kind and gave us rain check tickets. After the movie we tried to scan the QR code to validate parking, and it says parking session not found, so I was charged $10 for parking. I already had knee surgery, and I am about to have another, so I have a handicap placard. There is zero accessible parking, so I would highly recommend against catching a movie at this theater if you need handicap parking, or if you don't want to pay $10 to park to see a movie and have terrible service. I'm going to give our rain check tickets away, I won't be returning.

Worst Alamo experience I’ve ever had. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get my first drink. I wrote down my first order which was Espolon and Soda. 15 minutes later they brought me the note (pictured) saying they don’t have Espolon, even though it’s on the menu. They didn’t stick around to ask me for a replacement. They left and didn’t come back to get my new written order for 30 minutes. So in total it took an hour and 15 minutes to get that drink. My wife ordered a cava and that took 30 minutes to bring out. The wait was so bad that we left the movie to just get a drink at the bar while we waited for our drinks and food… but the bar was closed. The Caesar wrap I ordered wasnt wrapped at all so it all fell out of the tortilla and I had to leave the movie to go find someone to bring me a fork to just eat is as a salad. On top of all of this, 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. So I’m assuming the staff just doesn’t care cause they know they have that guaranteed no matter what. Which had the service been great, I would’ve gladly tipped 30%. Won’t be back at an Alamo for a while. When I do return it definitely won’t be to this location.

Saw Bugonia this evening and it was a very pleasant experience! Theatre was super clean, the wait staff were attentive when needed but were sparse during the movie, which is a perfect balance. Food was ok but it’s a movie theater. That’s not the main attraction. The manager was very nice as we bumped into her at the end. Definitely recommend this theatre for a fun experience.

Restaurant
Hanasho Japanese Restaurant is a hidden gem that has been around for three decades, offering traditional Japanese dishes and sushi rolls. The interior features a cozy atmosphere with low lighting and a small bar at the front. The menu includes old-school favorites like chawanmushi, grated Japanese yam mixed with raw tuna, and green tea noodles.
A hidden gem. The restaurant is nestled between Auto parts shop and fast food stores. I had doubts about the reviews as I walked up to the place. But any doubts were laid to rest when we took the first bite. The sushi was delicious - the white tuna was the best. We also ordered some yellow tail sushi, Saba (grilled mackerel), the Hanasho tower, and some rolls. All of it was good. The Service is excellent. All in all, this is good quality food Japanese food at reasonable rates.

Used to love this place. Typically the fish is fresh, service is friendly, and everything is reasonably priced. My last visit was sub-par, but it was one occurrence out of many visits. The main issue was receiving a dirty (lipstick printed) wine glass. My boyfriend and I usually split some rolls, sashimi and a chicken katsu bento.

This restaurant has a nice, low light interior with a small bar at the front. I first tried the chawanmushi, which is a savoury egg custard dish with soy sauce, shrimp, and other ingredients in a nice, porcelain cup. It was tasty, but it is served piping hot so watch out for that first bite! Then I had the green tea soba, which are chilled noodles that you dip into a sauce which you add dashi and wasabi to. The green tea flavor of the cold noodles combined with the sauce make a unique taste! I enjoyed my overall experience here and will definitely return!

Was a little nervous about the quality given that it's in the middle of a strip of run-down looking shops. It's just an older area and this place was a pleasant surprise. The interior was cozy, low-lighting. It's not the best but it's nice for a date, casual or family dining. Saw all types of people. Really caters to the sushi lover with a extensive sushi menu. Also serves a variety of normal Japanese dishes. The staff is friendly and almost too attentive but it's sweet. My "go-to" at sushi places is always the Unagi. By far, the best I've tasted. All the rolls were great as well. Recommend the Yakitori as an appetizer - very tender chicken. The prices are on par with nearly every other Japanese restaurant that I've been to. This was not fast food and the quality was well worth the price.

This place is nothing short of wonderful. The atmosphere, lighting, music and kind people really transport you to Japan itself. Not once have I ever ate here and thought to myself that it was okay. The food is always delightful and delicious. You can tell that love is in the food. The owner even went out of his way to cook a special dish that wasn't on the menu just for me! My night went from 0 to 100 just by dining here. It really is a wonderful place. Arigatou!

The food was great and not expensive, which is a major plus for a sushi place. They have a wide variety of selection including several vegetarian options. The staff is polite and professional. There are two bars: a sushi bar and a regular bar, though no one was at the regular bar when we went. I will definitely go back.

The food and service was excellent. The staff is friendly and very polite. They have a lot of great sushi choices. We had fatty tuna, sea urchin, freshwater eel and the sushi delight platter. The miso soup was also really good.
Adam H — Google review
Really good Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good. They offer menu options that you can't get at many other Japanese restaurants. One suggestion... the sashimi could be cut slightly larger. We've had better serving sizes at other places.
