Le Peep of Las Colinas is a delightful breakfast and lunch spot that offers a diverse menu filled with both classic and contemporary dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Lumberjack Breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, and Peasant Potatoes or prefer something lighter like Avocado Toast topped with hard-boiled egg, this eatery has you covered. For those with a sweet tooth, their selection of French pastries and crepes will transport you to Paris.
Ordered the Omni omelette this time. The food here is always tasty. I love the fact you get a pot of coffee when you order along with a carafe of water.

Excellent service 👏. Delicious breakfast. Cozy atmosphere ✨️. The place to go for breakfast in Las Colinas. We went to start my birthday 🎂 celebration ❤️ 🍾 and they did above and beyond.
Marita W — Google review
During my visit to Le Peeps restaurant, a renowned brunch spot, I had the pleasure of trying the French toast and chicken omelette, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. The potato wedges and English muffin were delightful additions to the meal. The ambience was satisfactory, and the service was commendable. I would certainly recommend this place to fellow brunch enthusiasts, given its appealing menu.
Srujana M — Google review
First time here. Ordered avocado toast and poblano pepper stuffed scrambled egg. The avocado toast was good, but I didn't like other stuff. The chicken used in the poblano stuffing was not fresh. Didn't like the potato served as a side. The latte ordered by my wife was also not that good. Nothing to complain about the service. Overall, it was a bad experience, not worth the hype or ratings.

Some very delicious food in this perfect location. Went with my family/friends, and they had the best time eating. The conversations we had there was very interesting, i loved that the wait wasn't so long for a party of 6. It can get busy around 11-11:30 am. The waitresses were amazing and the food was superb. The salmon Benedict, the Oreo pancakes were yummy, desperado, the chicken steak, the lumberjack breakfast and the lobster omelette (something like that) are excellent choices if you come to try out some of their outstanding delights! The next time we come here I will try the salmon Benedict, our family friend Hannah had that and it was beyond expectations haha. Definitely bring between $10-$20 per plate. Anyways, at the end of the day, this was an incredible place to go and highly recommend it for a brunch.

I recently dined at Le Peep of Las Colinas and wanted to share my experience. The first thing that struck me was the friendly staff and the fast service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated promptly. The staff members were attentive and eager to assist throughout my meal, which made for a pleasant dining atmosphere. However, when it came to the food, I found it to be just okay. I decided to try the wanderer skillet based on the server's recommendation. While there was nothing inherently wrong with it, it failed to stand out in any remarkable way. The dish consisted of a mix of ingredients, but I found it to be heavily skewed towards potatoes. The flavors were decent, but it lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. Another aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the price. Considering the quality and taste of the skillet, I found it to be on the expensive side. I would have expected a more satisfying experience for the price I paid. Overall, Le Peep of Las Colinas had a positive atmosphere with friendly staff and efficient service. However, the food, particularly the wanderer skillet, didn't leave a lasting impression. It was decent but failed to deliver anything extraordinary. Moreover, the dish felt potato-heavy, and the overall value for the price paid was underwhelming. If you're looking for a quick meal with a pleasant ambiance, this place might suffice.

Overall a great experience. Our waitress was attentive and polite. The food came out in a timely manner considering the place was packed when we got there. We enjoyed stuffed French toast, breakfast enchiladas, and biscuits in gray with a side of hotcakes.

My daughter and I had to time to kill and were hungry. How fortunate that Le Peep was right around the corner! The menu was so impressive that choosing was truly a challenge. Ordered the Baja Eggs Benedict and it was incredible! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing brunch experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. The menu had a fantastic variety of both sweet and savory options, and everything we ordered was top-notch. We ordered a garden veggies omelette with hashbrown and toast. It was moist and juicy. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, topped with fresh fruit. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It’s rare to find a spot that offers both great food and service, but this place nails it. Can’t wait to return—definitely a must-visit for anyone in the area! Highly recommend!

Honestly the chicken and waffles with gravy was delicious. I called in for some lunch after arriving at the airport and picked up this meal, it was nice and hot when I got it. I would say it needed a bit more salt, but they give you all the condiments you need so that was not a huge issue at all. The waffles are nice and fluffy, the chicken was crispy, the syrup and gravy were all amazing. I was really happy about it. Will come back if I’m in town.

An amazing place for breakfast in Dallas. They serve a wide variety of options American, pan cakes, omelette and coffee. Very nice taste service and atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Great brunch spot. We had a great time. Large portions and great service. Really enjoyed the avocado toast because they offer salmon with it. Very nice!! Great sized crepes. Everything was tasty.
Sunshine — Google review
Not worth the money. Went in for brunch. There was no wait. Tried the classic waffle and fried chicken. It was just OK. Nothing special. We had better waffles and chicken at other restaurants . The white sauce with the waffles was under seasoned and didn’t taste of anything. Crispy buffalo chicken sandwich was better compared to waffles. Side of fries were excellent.

Breakfast was amazing. This is the chorizo breakfast burrito. We also had the toast and blueberry jam. 10/10 recommend. We will be back! Ps: Our server Erika was very nice

Fantastic staff, very friendly and attentive. You can tell they’re passionate about serving fresh, healthy, and really tasty food. The breakfast dishes I tried were all even better than I expected! My server was great, and another friendly staff (Chris) also stopped by to check in and offer additional service at the end. Highly recommend!

Restaurant
Cork & Pig Tavern Las Colinas is a laid-back gastropub that offers wood-fired pizza, American cuisine, and an extensive selection of wines in a modern setting. Situated at Irving Water Street, it provides a great dining option amidst the lush greenery of Lake Carolyn. The area also offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as romantic gondola rides on Mandalay Canals and stand-up paddleboarding with Stand Up Paddle North Texas.
This is another great place in the Los Colinas Canal area. Fantastic service. Our waiter was great. He provided the perfect amount of attention. We started with the truffle fries. They were perfection in a potato. I'm so sad all of the previous potatoes I've partaken in were not these fries. They were that good. And their sauces for the fries were so delicious. I could eat that spicy sauce on everything. The burgers were huge. The Mac and cheese was fantastic. I had the fish tacos. They were just right for me, but if you like a lot of food, they will not be enough for you. It's three "street" tacos and a side. I had the beets. They were nice. It was a mix of the red beets and pink beets. They had lots of brunch drink choices. They have a nice patio space as well. It was a fun time.

This is literally my favorite restaurants in Las Colinas! I go ALL of the time, and everything is always perfect! I highly recommend the crab cake salad, it’s my go-to! One of my favorite things about Cork & Pig, besides the incredible food, is their amazing service and hospitality! Hala is SOOOOOOOO sweet and amazing, and she always makes me feel seen and welcome. When I’m there, they make me feel like a celebrity, and I love that!

We chose this location because we had tickets for a play nearby. Two of us ordered the coconut mojitos and they were great. I am still searching for the Bounty coconut rum from St Lucia. My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was a good choice. My pork chop was also very good. They have a huge outside patio area that got pretty full by the time we were heading out. The interior is very modern and looks inviting. If we are ever back in this area we would definitely stop back. They also have a nice happy hour selection that ends at 6:00 pm.

Our highly anticipated ladies' night got off to a rocky start. We had a patio reservation made well in advance, but the initial experience with the hostess was disappointing. She was unfriendly and a bit passive-aggressive when we inquired about our table—honestly, the worst part of our visit. We were initially seated at the only available table, which was unfortunately blazing in the direct sun. The Turnaround: Phenomenal Service and Delicious Food Thankfully, once we were able to switch to a shaded table, the evening became wonderful. Our server, Nick, was phenomenal! He was kind, incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our requests, and proactively ensured we were aware of any potential food allergens for our table. He truly saved the experience. For my main course, I had the salmon with blue crab and lemon butter topping, which was served after an extremely fresh and tasty garden salad. While the salmon was delicious, it was just slightly overcooked for my personal liking. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate cake and beignets for dessert. Conclusion I would definitely return, especially if Nick is our server. Despite the rocky beginning with the hostess and seating, the quality of the food and Nick's exceptional service made for a fantastic ladies' night out.

Cierra was our AMAZING amazing waitress and helped make our group corporate lunch feel super special. We celebrated two of our team members birthdays and she was wonderful in surprising them at the end. The food was bigger portions than we thought and we were thoroughly surprised! Leftovers heck yes! Taste of the food was great too! Spinach and artichoke dip was good- chips kind of too salty for me but still the dip yummm The truffle pizza was great but I would recommend folks to ask for arugula on the side so that you can add as needed And the truffle fires were bomb! Super tasty and flavorful and I liked dipping in the spicy mayo
Christina M — Google review
the rustic and airy vibe struck a nice balance between relaxed and upscale. The outdoor patio is great for people-watching or dining with friends. Deviled eggs were creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced — a must-order Try their wood fired pizza and pork ribs. The atmosphere and servers made me feel welcome, and dessert was just the cherry on top. Try their key lime. Cocktail are must try too - the buzz and seventh were good
Priyanshu K — Google review
Let’s me start by saying my server Matthew was phenomenal! His energy was great from start to finish! I came here for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the brunch pizza and it was very flavorful. Everything was fresh; you can tell it’s locally sourced I really appreciated that. The crust 10/10 so buttery, however I don’t think I’d order it again but I’d come back and get the regular pizza.
Kennedy S — Google review
Large portion sizes, great atmosphere, and good food! Menu is on the smaller side which is nice because it means the food is fresh, cocktails are refreshing and they have a patio for when the weathers nice.

Nestled in the heart of Irving, Mama's Daughters' Diner is a charming family-run establishment that captures the essence of Southern comfort food. This delightful diner offers a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of classic truck stop diners, making it an ideal spot for those seeking hearty meals. The menu boasts an array of breakfast favorites, including fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon that transport you back to simpler times with every bite.
Huge portions. Good value. Mom& pop diner. My "short stack" of pancakes was enough for 2 people. The cinnamon roll probably enough for 3 people. We were there on a random mid Wednesday morning and this place was very busy. I can not imagine the weekends. They have carryout and a drive thru. Every worker was working hard and never stopped moving. I did rate a 4 on service while our waitress was nice, we had to ask for check twice. She was nice but not really attentive to every tables needs.

Brought my blind, disabled mother here for a celebratory breakfast after she became a US citizen after 50 years. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and the accessibility was perfect. The food...also amazing. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Priced very well considering the cost of...our economy. Coffee ☕️ is delicious
Chopsticks R — Google review
The food looked great and I was excited because of the reviews but it was below mid. Basic velvets Mac and cheese, fish was very under flavored, really excited about the braised cabbages but it was flavorless even with the bacon which i couldn’t comprehend. Mash is just instant mash and gravy, black eyed peas again had no depth of flavor or even salt for that matter. Potato salad I would not recommend for any reason. Cornbread was very very basic as well. While I waited forever for this food I tried a corn food truck in front that I did not get the name of but the elite in a cup was so 🔥🤯. Don’t Waite time or $
Nick P — Google review
It's not often that a restaurant is better than expected from their reviews but man this place delivered. The Chicken Fried Chicken, collard greens, and candied yams were some of the best I've had at any restaurant. And the rest was delicious. Next time I'm in the area I'm coming back! Yum!

Here on a mini getaway from hours away and husband found the listing since our hotel doesn’t serve breakfast after 10 and this place is AMAZING!!! Hands down best breakfast and lunch spot we’ve found while we’ve been here. 1000% recommend! Staff was friendly and attentive, and prices were just right for an inexpensive meal.

Mama’s Daughters’ Diner in Irving (2412 W Shady Grove Rd) is a cozy, family-run gem that nails classic Southern comfort food with a homey vibe that makes you feel like you’re eating at grandma’s house. The staff is fantastic—warm, friendly, and quick to make you feel like a regular. Their breakfast menu is where they truly shine, and the waffles topped with whipped cream and strawberries? Absolute perfection, fluffy, crispy, and so delicious I’m still thinking about them. For lunch, they keep things fresh with daily specials that rotate dishes, keeping every visit exciting. The chicken fried fried steak is tender with a golden, crunchy crust and rich cream gravy that’s pure comfort on a plate. The fried chicken is crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the pot roast is melt-in-your-mouth good. Fridays are a treat with their salmon patties—savory, perfectly seasoned, and one of my all-time favorites. Their burgers are solid, too, with that classic diner taste. Don’t skip the homemade rolls or cornbread, which come with most entrees and are a highlight on their own. The only downside is the seating. It’s mostly fixed booths, which gives it that nostalgic diner feel, but it’s a challenge for accessibility. There are only two or three tables with chairs, and they’re always taken, so my handicapped mother can’t join me here since she struggles with booth seating. If they could add more accessible tables, it’d be perfect. Still, for anyone craving hearty, homestyle cooking in a welcoming atmosphere, Mama’s Daughters’ is a must-visit. Support this local treasure for a true taste of Southern hospitality
Travis C — Google review
Let’s start with the fact that it took over 45 minutes to get our food, with no apologies, no discounts or explanations given. The food was good, the steak was cooked correctly. The breading on the chicken fried steak wasn’t crispy, but not quite soggy. Overall, an average food experience and a below average service experience.

Denny's is a beloved casual diner chain that serves up classic American comfort food, making it a go-to spot for breakfast lovers any time of day. Their menu features an array of hearty options like the Lumberjack Slam, which includes buttermilk pancakes, grilled ham, and eggs alongside hash browns and your choice of bread. For those looking for something lighter, the Fit Slam offers egg whites with fresh spinach and turkey bacon.
Great late night service at Denny’s! We arrive at 00:30 hrs and there was this guy attending us super kind, fast and helpful at the same time he was attending 6 to 8 tables, cleaning and serving beverages. Total respect for this guy!

This is a very good place in Los Colinas. This Denny’s is open till late at night, the people here are very nice and humble and the food is really great!!
Abhishek K — Google review
Denny's has always been a good default breakfast spot for us. Morning or night. This visit we were there around 10pm. Service could have been better, but not because our waiter didn't take care of us. He did the best he could. For being the only waiter taking orders, bringing drinks, and being the cashier as well, he did an amazing job. He was a young guy working evenings on Thursdays. Short staff was too blame, not our waiter. This is the only reason why I gave it 3 stars on service. Regular pancakes have improved a great deal. I almost always order the Lumber jack slam. Eggs scrambled with cheese. Other plate is a Chicken Cobb salad. If you like breakfast for dinner, Denny's is a great place to cure the late night craving.

Services was wonderful my family I went in the late hours around 10 at night I wish I gotten the waiters name she was such a sweetheart
Monica M — Google review
This was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had. We walked in around 9:40pm ish was immediately seated. As we were seated the waiter tells us he will come back to get our drink in about 6 minutes. Okay, cool. No issues, there are about 7 tables in the restaurant at this time, we understand. About 8 minutes pass and the server comes back and gets our drinks. It's super fast turnaround from our drink order back to us with drinks. Now it takes a nose dive. The server left after dropping drinks and says he'll be back. It was almost 10 minutes before he came back around to us. Now I checked the time on my phone and when he came back to get our order it was around 9:58- 10pm. We order our food and am told it will be about a 29 minute wait. Okay, a little long but understandable it's a bit busy. At exactly 10:20pm our server comes over to use and says, " there is going to be a delay in your food. Our cook is getting ready to leave, and the next one won't be here until 11. Do you want to wait that long to have your order put in?" So not only for the last 20 minutes our food order hasn't been placed in the system nor was it being prepped and cooked. The mental process behind that isn't making any sense. So mathematically, from the moment we walked in to if we had hypothetically stayed for the other cook at 11pm. If we walked in at 9:40ish and the approximate cook time would have been 29 minutes with the new cook being on time and tossing our food on the grill as soon as he stepped behind the grill we would have essentially spent 1 hour and 45 minutes just waiting for two entrees. So we tell him no thank you and go to leave and he says he will meet us at the register. We tell him as we get to the front, "hey how do you feel about not charging me for those two drinks a coke and a sweet tea." His exact words were "I don't feel good about that at all. I have to charge you for the drinks." Because we're not total a-holes we paid $8.64 for a Coke and Tea and absolutely terrible experience.
Shelby R — Google review
Food was good Service not so good Unprofessional to talk about your pay and what your paycheck was Your bad relationship with your manager Being on the phone and cussing in the background when you have two tables in there It was not busy… 2 tables the kitchen cook had to ring the bell because of how long our food was at the kitchen window. We ordered two burritos and two waters Got our burritos eventually Not our waters I tipped something I was this close to not tip at all Should have not based on everything she was saying I didn’t go on my break for lunch to hear a pity party

If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast experience, look no further than Corner Bakery. This casual counter-serve cafe chain is your go-to spot for a variety of delicious options, from hearty sandwiches and pasta to mouthwatering pastries. Their extensive breakfast menu boasts everything from fluffy pancakes to nutritious breakfast bowls and wraps, ensuring there's something for everyone.
I was in town for two nights for for the DFW fiber fest. I was delighted to find this Cafe. I ate in for dinner and the service and the atmosphere were just wonderful. I love being able to sit in a cafe instead of always getting takeout. If I had stayed longer I would have eaten there again. I did get takeout the next day as I had a long drive ahead of me. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The breakfast wrap I got to go was only $7. I am vegetarian and was happy with the options available. Next time I'm back in Irving this is where I will go to eat.
Sara M — Google review
It was just ok. Overpriced. I had a sandwich with a side salad, soda and a cookie for about $18. The soda alone was almost $4. Which is insane. I ate the cookie while waiting for my food, but it was verryyyyy overcooked. Almost burnt. The salad was meh and the sandwich was good and had good flavor, but overall, not worth the price for quality. The condiment options were lacking at this place. I'd eat it for a corporate function if they provided it, but otherwise, I'd try elsewhere.

You place your order at the front desk, pay & they give you a number plus receipt. Then you go sit at a table & they bring you the food when ready. I’m not quite used to this kind of service and it made it difficult to judge how much tip I should give since I haven’t had full service before paying cos I usually don’t tip if I’m ordering and getting the food at the counter. The staff were very courteous and I appreciated that. Vibe was chill, old music, view of the freeway and the room was clean. My food was yummy, I really liked the texture of the pancake and the oat milk chai latte suited my pallet. Overall it was a good experience this Canadian & could have tipped more.

I haven’t been to this location in forever and decided to stop by for some breakfast. The manager Rico is so good at what he does. He is very respectful, kind and knows his food knowledge very well. Oh yeah to top it off he’s very handsome. He stopped by my table to make sure the food was good, he checked on every table that was eating. It was just amazing to see. You never see managers doing that anymore. I will be back once a week now thanks to Rico!

I had breakfast here with my family and everyone had a great time. The food was reasonably priced and good. Everything was made after it is ordered. The tables in the restaurant were close (the guy sitting next to us joined our conversation) but we did have an great breakfast. The menu can accommodate most if not all dietary preferences. The staff was nice and friendly.

I came close to closing time. Trying to grab a bite before I had to get my daughter from Orchestra practice and i went in was barely acknowledged. Of Course placed my own order on the self serve, food came out ok except it was the wrong sandwich. Which in all fairness could have been my mistake since I placed my own order. Overall not the best experience. Maybe I’ll go earlier next time.

First and last time eating here. We left hungry and went for tacos!Underwhelming is an understatement, portions are lacking, pasta is not good and service is just not there, why pay BMW prices for a Nissan Sentra. Walked in waited for five minutes while someone in front was ordering, someone else walks in behind us and another register opens just to take their order while we are waiting for the other person to finish. -1 ⭐, then while taking the order, the person at register is telling us that size options are for one person and big portions for two. There's signs everywhere about unlimited pancakes, so lets order that, for $9, a salad small, a small carbonara chicken, a panini. Leave a tip for good measure. The coffee was underwhelming, 7-11 has a better late any time of the day. I get my pasta and it looks like a kids meal, the panini is also kids meal stuff, the salad looked okay, and the pancakes stacks looked like 3 but were actually 4 with a $2 something side of bacon. The pasta was served in a bowl and had chickpeas, so they all go to the bottom, at first its all pasta then everything else sinks to the bottom, including the chicken that tastes bad. It has a nasty strong chicken flavor, but it was white meat. Later on a find out that the pancakes are not unlimited, those costs $13 something. Jason's deli has some awesome pasta, the least they could do is be decent, domino's had better pasta. So we finished eating and there is no table service to i guess we just sit there with a dirty table full of oversized plates on the table. I used to be a server, you don't let people sit there with empty plates on the table, why have a tip option if there is no service?

It's probably the best waffle house I've been to in all of my waffle house experiences as far as food is concerned. The inside was decent, but I rarely dine in at any Waffle House. My waffle in particular was a masterpiece of balance between thickness, sweetness, and the amount of blueberries.

Alex, Blake and Cloville gave me extremely good service tonight. It seems to be just the two of them a cook and a waiter. I was confused. I was shocked but they got my order out expeditiously fast. It was 6am so I can kind of understand. However, I will only extend so much grace. We were initially the first ones there. Orders were very simple, but came in stages. Coffee, 10 min later. I received my waffle. 10 min later my sister and I received our orders of eggs. 7 min later we finally got our gravy and she got her toast. I drove home where I became violently sick. My sister got sick too. 😒 🤔 coincidence? Maybe....maybe not. Who knows.

Good Day Cafe Irving is a relaxed spot that offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options, including pancakes, burgers, and other brunch dishes. The restaurant also provides take-out and delivery services. It is located in an appealing setting both inside and outside. The staff, particularly Andrew, was attentive and took care of the customers' orders with professionalism and politeness. They provided an estimated time for the order to be ready, eliminating any uncertainty.
Outstanding first visit. We did not wait to be seated or for food to be out. Great service and friendly staff on this visit. Hands down so far the best one stop restaurant I’ve been too. From breakfast items to lunch/dinner items from Texmex, cheesesteaks, chicken fried steaks to great desserts. I got the skillet chicken fried steak with a mango lemonade best items and i will be a regular when i visit Irving.

Busy this Sunday morning. Wait time was about 15 minutes arriving about 10:30AM for a party of 4. Atmosphere has a busy and bustling feel but overall noise level is contained and not over bearing. Server was very good and efficient. Food was very good ordering the breakfast. They have a senior citizen special combination. I got the Senior pancake combo and wife got the 1/2 waffle combination. Consists of the named item and 2 eggs cooked to order with choice of bacon or sausage patty. Wife enjoyed how the bacon was cooked, crispy and not burnt s she ordered. Daughter got the Migas breakfast. Baby fed off of our plates. Coffee was good. Overall would recommend this eatery without hesitation. Notes lots of people waiting to be seated as we left. Seems like a popular place for breakfast and lunch. Advertised as “home cooking” and it seems that way at least for breakfast.

Nice cozy diner! We were not rushed and was able to enjoy our food. Our waitress was very polite. The food was delicious. My husband got the chicken fried steak skillet and I had the fajita chilaquiles skillet. Everything was on point.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful brunch experience in Irving, look no further than the Wonderful World Of Cooking Cafe. This charming eatery feels like a cozy home away from home, where friendly staff greet you with warm smiles and delicious dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. The cafe specializes in Southern and Tex-Mex cuisine, serving up generous portions that are perfect for sharing—or indulging solo!
Surprised at how great the brunch food is. Breakfast tacos are large and stuffed with fluffy eggs, your choice of bacon or chorizo and cheese. Spiced delicately but enough heat to please. The tacos have a buttery under tone and the tortillas were soft, fresh and toasted slightly. Great salsa. Reasonable prices and good mimosas. It's worth stepping out of Dallas to Irving for a great brunch and better prices.

Don’t bother. They won’t be there much longer. They open and close whenever they want to. I’ve spent more time in the parking lot than in the restaurant. I love the service staff, but they have their own booth where they sit and ignore their tables. I usually have to get up and go order there. It’s sad. They’re so close to my house. Oh well.

Sorry, I wanted southern cooking or family cooking. I knew it might not be good when they had chips and salsa at the table. We did have good service, she was pleasat. Meatloaf was not good and she said it was. I don't usually leave bad reviews but the restaurant needs to make up it's mind what kind of food to serve and change the name if necessary.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited! My family and I love the authenticity of the cuisines! Servers are kind and approachable, plus the place is clean and has access to people with disability. Really a good place to eat and unwind!.

We found the place we will start eating at from now on. We were greeted in Spanish even if I'm not Mexican hahaha. However, the waitress was nice. You keep them know how much you people are dining in and you can choose where to sit. Perfect!!! The food was unbelievable. It was huge and good. The country pork chops was the star. It was tender and the gravy was delicious. The chips and salsa was really good as well. Everyone one enjoyed their food. The only thing that needs a little improvement was the mash potatoes w/gravy needs to be hotter. It was cold. The cabbage needed to be seasoned a little bit more. Other that , food is great! We look forward to eating here again.
L P — Google review
Wow. Do not eat here. This place needs to close down. This is some of the worst Luby's style old people food that you can find. If you've ever had the food at an old folks home it's the same as that, it's not as good as most hospital food. Ordered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn. The woman running the register answered the phone, I found her kind of rude and weird and not helpful. In person she was the same way and it was a really weird and awkward interaction. It was 16 bucks, I don't know if I was supposed to get two orders of mashed potatoes or the chips and salsa. I also don't know whether I was supposed to get this hair on top of the steak or this weird stuff in the mashed potatoes that seems to be cloth fiber or something. I dried it off and tried to inspect it and there seemed to be a piece of polyfiber or something people aren't supposed to eat. The mashed potatoes are from a box, the fried steak I think was frozen. Like the packs of them at Walmart. Totally soggy and drenched in bad fake gravy, no seasoning or salt on anything. my dogs wouldn't eat this food when I tried to give it to them. If you have an experience like this here we all need to let the state health inspector know because this place cannot get away with this. This is genuinely evil and I can't imagine how bad they're paying and treating their workers. The owners deserve to go bankrupt and lose everything they have

Wish I’d Found This Sooner! I stayed in Dallas for a few days, and if I’d known about this spot earlier, I would’ve come here every morning. The breakfast was amazing—fresh, tasty, and satisfying. On top of that, the young server was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!!!

This was a nice place for a group lunch. They serve breakfast at lunch and their pancakes smelled heavenly. The service good; our server was attentive enough. It wasn't too crowded or loud, so we had the chance to talk and hear each other. I had the avocado toast. The bread was excellent and the server was able to get me fruit without cantaloupe in it. I'm thrilled about that. The avocado was just smashed avocado, so it was bland. I did get some salsa which helped immensely. And the server was kind enough to warn me there a charge for it. Good service! The egg whites were done well. The chicken fried chicken was very tasty. They have a nice gravy. The eggs Benedict also made a tasty hit. They serve a lot of food with each plate.

First time here, and I will definitely be back. The service was great. Marie was so energetic, and nice she joked with us and had lots of information. The food was great, the pancakes were the best I've had in quite awhile. The atmosphere is quaint and stylish. They have a place for regular guest to bring and leave their own coffee mug. Come try it! You'll probably see me there.

Love Siena Cafe!! Been going here with my husband since we moved to Texas four years ago and it never disappoints!! Love the atmosphere, the food and being greeted like I’m home! The best part is the coffee mug wall!! With different kinds of mugs from all over the world from their visitors and colleagues! My favorite coffee of the area, the Siena combo is my favorite because it has a little bit of everything!! Thank you for my favorite Sunday brunch!!

OK FOOD A BIT SLOW SERVICE My wife and I got breakfast here in MAY of 2025. It was not too busy so we got seated immediately. The restaurant has a nice selection of dishes for breakfast and lunch. Also ok selection of beverages. I do not know if the female waitress is new, but she was a bit slow the day we were here. For instance very slow to get us a refill on the coffee after we asked for it. The food is ok - what we got was regular breakfast - nothing particularly excellent and nothing bad.

Excellent place for brunch. We went around noon on a Sunday and it was buzzing with crowd. There was 15 minutes wait. Lot of different options to choose from. Waffles and fried chicken were really good. Loved the mini waffles . Crispy chicken wrap was good but can be better. Personally I felt the veggies were too kuch compared to chicken in the wrap. We also tried Avocado salad & it was fresh.

The food was typical cafe food, which is what we went there for. I ordered a breakfast plate, my husband ordered a burrito plate. No complaints. The staff were very nice and quick, and the prices were good. The atmosphere was not someplace I would bring anyone to impress. Seats were torn up. Tables covered in sticky plastic cloth. Probably won’t be back since we’re not in this area often and won’t go out of our way for it.

Memphis girl here who has been searching since 2004 for real home made SOUTHERN BISCUITS like my family from Mississippi made and finally found them here!!! Simply outstanding! Light & fluffy and even dusted with flour from being rolled out and cut by hand as they should be. Even the milk gravy was good and seasoned well. A+. Now, on to our meal as this was our first time coming here even though we live in South Irving! Don't let the appearance of this place scare you off like it did us! Husband had Breakfast which is served all day! They are only open for Breakfast & Lunch. He ordered 2 Eggs Sunny Side Up with Bacon and Refried Beans w/Corn Tortillas. He is Hispanic so he knows a thing or two about refried beans and said they were excellent. He got toast for the dippy eggs and also chips and the most delicious home made red salsa which was served warm. I ordered the combo Fried Catfish & Shrimp with their home made from scratch Onion Rings with potato salad. The cornmeal coating on the fish and shrimp was Southern Style just as it should have been and thankfully, not too salty! On Saturdays I understand its all you can eat catfish too so we will be back for that for sure. This place has not had a redo since forever and it shows but with food that is easily a 10/10 we could care less. It's connected to a Budget Inn I think it is and we don't care about that either. The bathrooms need some help however. And my only complaint was they served margarine or "spread" as they called it instead of real butter which is actually toxic seed oil spread. Our server was very nice as well and Bi-Lingual if that matters.

Felt like I was walking into the 1960s, super fun diner decor! Ordered the sliced turkey melt which was delicious - loved their sourdough bread. My partner ordered the stack pancakes but wasn’t impressed - should’ve ordered the nutty pecan ones. Portions are large so I recommend sharing. The service was excellent and waitress was super friendly. Prices are normal for the area - $16 per person.

Nice place for breakfast or brunch. The food is served piping hot. Everything the people in our party tried had a wonderful mix of flavors. The portions are ample for all but the really big eaters. The best item IMHO, is the homemade salsa. FRESH ingredients, spicy but not overbearing. The servers are friendly and attentive.

WePancakes is a popular spot in Texas known for its delicious and diverse pancake flavors. Visitors rave about the variety of pancakes, including options like tres leches, banana pudding, biscoffs, blueberry lemon ricotta, and donuts. The restaurant also impresses with other menu items such as burritos and steak. Customers appreciate the attentive service from friendly servers who keep their drinks topped up.
Updating my experience with we pancakes. The service was good the waitress was awesome. Food was delicious although the food was slightly cold. The only thing I could suggest is to serve the food hot & not cold. Clean environment and nice staff greeted us at the door. Update 08/23/2024 Food was absolutely delicious thank you for keeping the food hot. Pancakes was a delight. I had the tres le Leche pancakes & big breakfast. The pancakes was a knocked put the ballpark. I wanted to try the shrimp and grits but maybe next time. Greet your customers and keep that smile going.

I’m not sure why this restaurant has such low reviews/ overall ratings. I went today and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. The portion sizes are very reasonable and the perfect healthy portion. My boyfriend and I got the pancake combo with eggs, bacon, and hashbrows. He ordered over medium eggs and they delivered! The yolk was actually runny which NEVER happens at any breakfast establishment. I got egg whites and they were good. We upgraded our pancakes to the pina colada and the banana pudding. It was only a $1.49 up charge which is crazy cheap! The pancakes were indeed fluffy. Both styles were incredible! Not unbearably sweet which is good because most places make them too sweet. We also got the strawberry banana smoothie, it was kind of expensive but it was good. I probably won’t get it again though. I will say that they use too much oil for the bacon and eggs but that’s a minor adjustment. The restaurant is spacious with lots of sitting. The only downside was that the floor was sticky but the rest of the restaurant was clean. Service was great, we had a tall girl with glasses and black hair. She was very sweet, attentive, and helpful! I wish we got her name. Overall, we will definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable esp in this economy! Thank you for the good breakfast <3

We visited WePancakes on a Monday morning around 830am. It was us and an older gentlemen and that was it. When we were seated, we were asked for our drink order. We waited roughly 10 minutes for our drinks. Neither of our drink orders were correct. We both ordered sweet tea and, once we both got that, they were vastly different colors and tasted different (see photo). About 10 minutes after we got our drinks, we placed our food order. We ordered a scrambler (and we got asked how we wanted our eggs) and the chicken and waffles with a side of ranch. Our food came out about 20 minutes after we ordered it. We got a meat plate with some scrambled eggs and our chicken and waffles (with no ranch). When asked for a side of ranch, the staff brought a packet of ranch for a side salad. The waffle was really dry and powdery. The chicken strips had good flavor but were fatty and full of tendons. The meat plate was good other than the sausage links not being cooked. We both never got a refill of our drinks despite the server walking by several times and our cups were at the edge of the table. We waited for our check for 20 minutes and then waited another 15 minutes for them to cash us out before we got up and went to the register ourselves. We had high hopes and wanted to overlook the bad reviews but we won't be returning here.

Came here 5 times during my trip to Texas, and loved every single time. Obviously the pancakes are the highlight, with every single one I tried (tres leches, banana pudding, biscoffs, blueberry lemon ricotta, and donuts) were really good! Even better is that everything else I tried was also really good, from the burritos to the steak! The servers were awesome, and recognize me and my friend after only being there once, and were pretty on top of keeping water/coffee full. Highly recommend!

We decided to stop in because we wanted breakfast for dinner and I’d heard that there are a lot of interesting pancake flavors here. We ordered a Meat Lovers Scramble with Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes and a Meat Lovers Plate with Donut Pancakes. The Meat Lovers Scramble was filled with fresh veggies, bacon, and ham and topped with plenty of cheese. The hash browns were nice and crisp. Everything on the Meat Lovers Plate was very good. The Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes were filled and topped with fresh blueberries (not preserved!) The absolute standout was the Donut Pancakes-they tasted just like a raspberry-filled donut! All of the food was delicious and served in generous portions. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend WePancakes to anyone looking for an excellent diner meal. We were very happy with our experience and look forward to trying the other pancake flavors.
Tammy C — Google review
Apparently it's only good if you stick to pancakes. That was the only part of our order that was decent. It's even more disappointing considering how long they took for the order. Biscuits look like someone's sad cookies and both combos came with overcooked, cold, frozen tater tots. Everything except the pancakes and eggs were bad and/or flavorless.
KJ S — Google review
I had hopes for this place. Been there a few times and every time it’s gets worse. The server Ftrima is terrible, she never comes to the table and check on you. Just sits in the other room looking at you until you’re done eating. Today I had the worst scramble ever and the pancakes were mushy.

New place we are trying out. It will be hard to see from 183 or service road. It is directly behind the Starbucks/T-Mobile buildings Reviews and food coming up shortly. Nice place and friendly staff so far. Ok so review time: Staff was friendly but little slow on service like coffee/water refills. They were not busy and plenty of help, as we take the being short handed into consideration before yall say anything. Both of us have worked in the food industry. We felt our food was sitting for awhile as it was mostly not hot by time we got it. Wife had pancake combo. Hashbrowns were cold, so she brought another plate of them out and they were barely warm at best. Birthday pancake was good one along with eggs and bacon but luke-warm. My waffle had a good brown crisp to it but suprisingly was just warm, thus reason we feel it sat for a bit. Bacon and eggs were good, luke-wark. Got cheese on eggs like normal and was hardened thus another reason we felt our plates sat awhile as usually cheese it just melted by time it comes to the table. Plates were hotter than the food Ordered the donut pancake to try it out but it came completly covered in icing and jelly flavor unlike what menu picture shows. Only been open 4 days, so we may give it another try down the road as they get kinks figured out. This visit though I have to say an average at best. They mentioned they were slammed yesterday but it wasn't busy during our visit, as picture shows. As we were leaving staff was all sitting around chilling, so it was slow. Not recommended for now being new place. Some friends have visited and had good experience from what they posted. So might be a hit/miss.

IHOP is a well-established chain that offers a diverse range of American breakfast and diner dishes. Their menu features over 14 types of pancakes, including favorites like Buttermilk, Chocolate Chip, and New York Cheesecake. In addition to their famous fruit-topped pancakes, IHOP also serves signature breakfasts such as the Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity and International Passport Breakfast.
There was a small wait but didn't mind that. Was seated and order was taking. I ordered the sampler with double bacon, ham and hash browns cooked on both sides. When food came it had bacon and sausage, everything else was right. I advised of no sausage so she took plate back and changed but this time she changed my hash browns so now they are undercooked to my liking. I just said forget it and just didn't eat them because I can't understand why you didn't just bring me 2 peices of bacon, not change my whole plate.

The place had no more than 5 tables occupied. There were plenty of staff and we were seated right away. As we looked through the menus 1 out of 5 were cleaned. It took them 20 minutes from the time we were seated to get service. Again, plenty of staff waiting around not busy at all. Finally, Clarissa waited on us and she was great, no problems with our order, food was hot and portions were great. Apart from the menus there were flies around the customers.

Signature blueberry pancakes were 2x smaller than supposed to be and when i asked if they always come this small the replied with yes. The looks deceive and not worth the price. Small and only came with 2 small pancakes.

if i could leave ZERO stars i would. i arrived to this ihop at 12am. there were only four other people eating in. the restaurant was nowhere near busy. i waited extra long for my food and when it finally arrived it was cold and it was black flakes on my food as if the grill had not been cleaned. i was STARVING and very disappointed. the waiter was so unconcerned and unapologetic. please do not come here.

The hostess was sitting in a booth with her back to the door when I walked in. Didn't realize she even worked here until she stood up. She walked me around the entire dining room before seating me right by the door. The food was not prepared as ordered. Mgr came and talked to me and comped the meal but then had to defend everything to me. I appreciate that being short-handed and training new employees can be challenging, but there was literally one table of people, and apparently, their order was not correct either. I appreciate the meal but hope they do better.

Waited ONE HOUR for takeout and I still don’t know WHY. Staff avoided eye contact leaving multiple people waiting for takeout at the front desk. The store was not busy by the way. I had to walk in and STAND outside the literal kitchen in order to get my order taken seriously because only then was it somehow miraculously ready in minutes. This was a Sunday night and the incompetent manager said she needed HER manager to even submit a refund…then what the hell is she even managing in this establishment??? This location needs to close. What kind of service is this?

This restaurant is gross with mold on the ceilings!! Table 74 has water leaking and they have done nothing to repair it! I was told to wait for another table after being seated however the restaurant was “sold out” but yet they had the other section wide open. This is uncalled for and unacceptable!!! BEWARE OF THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS LOCATION!!!

I would like to say that it was my first time at this location and I do Amazon flex from my car and myself and my husband wanted to get a quick bite before our next route had decided to eat breakfast at this location when we were being seated we came across a little situation that shocked me and was totally unexpected but decided to just leave and go somewhere else to eat I will say the manager jumped right in handle that situation personally let us pick a section to sit in and personally brought our food to us service was excellent thanks for everything Mrs Tina you did your job

Denny's is a beloved casual diner chain that serves up classic American comfort food, including breakfast favorites available all day long. Upon stepping into Denny's, you're greeted by friendly staff who create an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a hearty meal. Whether you’re stopping in during a busy travel layover or just looking for a late-night bite, the welcoming team ensures you feel right at home. With an extensive menu to explore, there's something for everyone at Denny's.
We had an excellent experience at Denny’s thanks to Danzel, who was working as the cashier, chef, and host when we visited at 5:30 AM. Despite the early hour, he was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. The food he prepared was delicious, and his overall attitude made our visit very enjoyable and very relaxing. Danzel truly exemplifies hard work and dedication, especially during late-night/early-morning shifts. I believe he has the potential to turn around any negative reviews and showcase the high-quality service Denny’s can offer. I sincerely hope the company recognizes his efforts with a well-deserved raise and bonus, as hardworking employees like him are invaluable. I look forward to visiting again when I transit through Dallas. Danzel is definitely an asset to the team!

It was my first time at Dennys and I was really impressed with the quality of the food. I got a chicken and bacon burger and it was so good, the lettuce and onion was super fresh and the chicken and bacon was cooked to perfection. There were only 2 employees on duty. I arrived in the middle of some snowy weather which meant that only 2 brave ladies were able to show up for duty and I'm so glad they did! What's even more impressive is that the food was cooked by an employee who is not usually in the kitchen! But she really knows how to cook!

The location looked deserted on a Wednesday afternoon. I tried their Mac&Cheese Skillet, which is a first for me. It was tasty but not as good as I was expecting it to be. The food took forever to be served (waited around 30 minutes between waiting for someone to take the order and food being served) I was looking for someone to give me a refill on my drink but everyone was in the kitchen chatting and joking around. I’m glad they have such a camaraderie but clients need to be first. To their credit, they gave me a refill to go.

They really need to renew the concept of this restaurant chain, as the place feels quite empty and lonely. The staff are doing their best, but with only one server and the chef, and no manager present, it feels understaffed. That said, the food was good, and in the end, that’s what matters most.

At this Denny's the atmosphere is very good; it's always clean. Maria served us very well, and the food is delicious. The service is usually faster than at other places, and they always have specials. I saw and felt the employees' passion for what they do.

No...No don't eat here! We spent 68.00 for the most nastiest food I've tasted from a restaurant. The hash browns was so over cooked it felt like I was chewing on sticks. The parts that looked okay tasted weird and still over cooked. Eggs were still raw. Chicken fried steak was bland. Only thing okay from this plate was the buttered toast. My husband and son got burgers with onion rings only had a few onion rings on the plate. They were also unhappy. Trying to make the best of it we ate some of our food took my plate to go..went to Walmart and had to leave we all felt nauseous and our stomach was hurting. I kept gagging. The food "looked" okay. I added black pepper, salt but was still tasted awful. I shouldn't have paid for it. It was a waste.

Waited several minutes without acknowledgment in a mostly empty restaurant. When I calmly suggested that greeting guests might help, the server told me I was being rude and that I needed to wait. She also rang my to-go order at $16 instead of the $12 I’d paid the day before; the manager corrected the price. I ultimately chose not to order because the interaction made me uncomfortable.
