Tasty, fresh food with great flavour. The place was buzzing with plenty of locals dining, which is always a good sign. The dishes came out quickly, everything tasted fresh, and the atmosphere felt authentic and welcoming. A great stop in Hue if you’re looking for a local dining experience.

The set menu was a great way to sample local Hue delicacies. All delicious. Our waiter was very helpful and taught us the right way to eat all the nice food. Good price too.
Narmadha K — Google review
We were recommended this restaurant and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We chose the 5-course menu, which gave us a wonderful variety of different dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were given clear instructions on how to combine and roll everything properly =), which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. We can highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back!
Manuela F — Google review
First night in Hue and this restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide and glad we came here! They were very welcoming and observed a lot of tourists and locals! We got the banh beo, ban xeo, banh nam, goi cuon, and nem ran. And their peanut sauce, so good! Everything was delicious!
Janelle O — Google review
It was recommended by the locals. I was very lucky that I didn't have to wait! I ordered a special set for one person that I can try every local delicacies. The staffs are very friendly, They taught me how to eat TWICE! Because I kept forgetting what dish goes with what sauce!! The food was delicious! It was good for the value!! Highly recommended!!!

Delicious food, for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. truly the best we had in our trip in Vietnam. The crunchy pancake (Bánh Khoai) was to die for, the fried spring rolls too, and also exquisite deserts Fast service, friendly, nice atmosphere, with both locals and foreigners Cannot recommend enough

Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant

Mentioned on

Restaurant
Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant in Hue is known for its exquisite ambiance and traditional Vietnamese imperial cuisine. The restaurant's decor resembles a royal palace, adorned with numerous paper lanterns, bonsai trees, and a charming garden complete with a small pond and waterfall. Visitors can enjoy authentic dishes prepared by descendants of the Nguyen Dynasty, with set menus that include royal costume rentals, drinks, and dessert at reasonable prices.
My family and I had the pleasure of dinning at Tinh Gia Vien restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. We indulged in an 8 course meal that was delicious and beautifully presented. Will definitely recommend 5/5.
Cecilia T — Google review
I came here with my wife and we had an excellent evening. The food is good but the presentation is a spectacle to behold. Yes this is a tourist experience but it is well worth it. The price is reasonable for the location and the attention we got was second to none.
Nick G — Google review
The food here is okay, looks way better than it tastes. Would've been 4 stars but the person working there stiffed me 100k on the bill (prices are in dollars, but they stated 26k/$1 as the conversion rate). I didn't realize until I redid the math after we had left.
Dake W — Google review
A few months ago, I had the chance to take a private cooking class at Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant in Vietnam, and it was absolutely amazing. The class was led by chef Phan Tôn Gia Hiền, and I even got to meet her mother, the owner and chef Tôn Nữ Thị Hà. These two are not just chefs; they're food artists. The adventure started with a trip to Dong Ba Market, where chef Hiền showed us all the different ingredients we'd be using later. It was super cool to learn about the unique ingredients and how they play into Vietnamese cooking. Once we got to the actual class, I was impressed by how professional and friendly the whole team was. Some of them spoke English, which was really helpful. Chef Hiền was incredibly patient and explained everything in detail, making it easy to follow along. Even if you’re not a pro in the kitchen, you'd be able to keep up. One of the best parts was learning how to decorate the dishes beautifully. Chef Hiền and her team taught us how to turn our food into stunning pieces of art. This is perfect if you love hosting and want to wow your guests with gorgeous meals. I highly recommend this cooking class at Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant. It’s a fantastic experience for anyone who loves cooking and wants to dive into Vietnamese food and culture. Plus, you'll get to learn from chefs who are truly passionate about their craft.

Amazing food. Evert part of every dish is carefully put together, and unbelievably delicious! For centext, we were a party of 7 people.
Jack D — Google review
Good for small family gatherings up to 20 people. The dishes are a little unique in design - dragon, bird shaped etc. The taste is just ok but most are not here for just the taste. A big minus would be the alley as cars barely fit and if there is 2 going opposite then chances are they would get stuck. Overall a nice family run place, would recommend.
Trung D — Google review
This was my second time at Tihn Gia Viên and it is always amazing - the food is a great and staff very friendly. Every time I am in Huey this is my favorite place for lunch. The garden and home are also very beautiful. I highly recommend you eat here for lunch or dinner, it will be one of the best dining experiences of your life :)
Scott H — Google review
Great little cozy family restaurant. We ate on the patio area where there's stray cats roaming about and many old bonsai-like plants. The owner was very friendly and often joined us for conversation. The main attraction is of course, the food presentation. Many dishes are created to look like the Phoenix. Plates are "tapas" style and shared. Foods are easy to eat if you are not used to eating weird dishes in Vietnam. Definitely no need to shy away, nothing unusual. Overall, food was good and dining experience was very photo worthy.

Restaurant
Madam Thu Restaurant - Taste of Hue is a popular dining spot in the Backpacker Area of Hue City, Vietnam. This specialty restaurant offers a variety of traditional Hue dishes for lunch and dinner, including Bun Bo Hue, Banh Khoai, Nem lui, Banh loc, Banh Beo, Banh Nam, and Ram it. Since 2017, this restaurant has been gaining attention for its delicious local cuisine and exceptional service.
Had dinner here with my family. Food was absolutely delicious - I tried the set menu that included all of Hue's specialities, which was a wonderful way to experience the local cuisine. The khoai pancakes were so crispy and delicious. I've tried them at other places and these ones were my absolute favourite. My mother had the fried rice with chicken which she said was delicious, and a very generous portion! The stir fried beef noodles were also lovely. Props to our server, who was very kind and helpful! I hope to come back here again if I'm ever in Hue.

My favourite meal in Vietnam so far! We found this place after checking Google reviews, and I’m so glad we did. The food was an easy 10/10, and Leena’s service made it even better. If you’re in the area and craving great food, don’t think twice, just come here!
Faye D — Google review
We had dinner yesterday and It was a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and the service given by our waitress LilNhi was excellent. They offered us free desert (passion fruit) and once she knew we were on Honeymoon trip, she also brought us a second additional desert. Quality-price is one of the best restaurants we have visited after 1 week in Vietnam. Lil also tried to welcome us in Spanish, what we really appreciated. Super recommendable, thanks for everything!
Juan G — Google review
We were only in Hue for 2 nights and I was anxious to find really good places to eat - Madam Thursday Restaurant did not disappoint. We went to eat around 8:45pm and was offered a table quickly. The food was amazing; sharing salad rolls to start, followed by a beef stew and stir fried shrimp. Ended with some watermelon brought out as a complimentary dessert. We each had a hot tea too which was surprisingly refreshing. Only downside was we chose to sit outside and then the restaurant opposite blasted loud music across the street, added a dance vibe to the meal though 😂 wish we were staying in Hue longer so we could come back!
Alice W — Google review
AMAZING, EQUISITE, DELIGHTFUL, SCRUMPTIOUS!! There are not enough words to describe how fantastic this restaurant is. We arrived at our homestay around lunchtime, asked for a food recommendation and this was the first place she suggested and it did not disappoint. We ordered 4 dishes and each one was remarkable. My mouth is watering as I write this review. Such friendly staff, speak very good English with impeccable service. We are now considering prolonging our stay just to make sure we have tried every single dish on the menu. This food is healthy, tasty and makes us happy 😊 The best passion fruit I have ever had was given to us as a complimentary dessert.
Bobby — Google review
The choice of this restaurant was random, I just liked the location and the appearance. I had seen it recommended before. I didn't regret it for a minute. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Hannah was wonderful, polite, and very positive. I had a wonderful time dining at the restaurant and tried a dish I had never eaten before. I thank all the staff, and especially Hannah. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Angelique L — Google review
This restaurant is conveniently located right on the walking street, so it’s best to visit in the evening when the area really comes alive. The atmosphere around is lively and fun, making it a great spot to stop by for dinner while exploring the night scene. The staff were very nice and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which made us feel comfortable right away. Our food was served quickly, and everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared — simple, fresh, and satisfying. The overall vibe of the place is really pleasant, with a mix of good food, friendly service, and a great location. Perfect for a casual night out in the walking street area. Would definitely recommend!
Q L — Google review
Good presentation and the food was average good. Packed with tourist, you just can't get away from them in Hue. The table was sticky and dirty and there is a lot of staff for such small number of tables, some of them just sit around on their phones (I guess that's a common thing around Vietnam, not very professional) The food is very well curated and presented, it makes you feel that it's more special than what it is... They offer you perfume cold towels, ice tea and fruit as complementary. Went for a basic level food and I must say it was basic average taste.

Vietnamese restaurant
Lạc Thiện Restaurant, located near Hue Imperial City, is a popular spot for both locals and international tourists. The restaurant is known for its famous dish, banh khoa, which is similar to a stuffed crepe served with peanut sauce. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Hue specialties and vegan options. Situated in the bustling market district of Hue, this family-run eatery captures the essence of the city's culinary scene.
Possibly the best meal we had in Vietnam! We ordered 5 different plates and they were all excellent! Highly recommended, especially the pork spring rolls, super flaky and delicious!
Tommaso C — Google review
For a TripAdvisor recommended place, I have had better meals in Hue. The food is just fine, and for the quality, the prices are elevated compared to other similar places in the city. If you are a quieter person like I am, I am not sure if the atmosphere will be for you.
Ana H — Google review
Great little cafe on the roadside - good choice of food for westerners as well as Vietnamese. Lovely owner - makes you feel right at ease - shows you how to each the speciality dishes as well as great tricks with a makeshift bottle opener… make sure you order a beer!
Helen M — Google review
From 🇪🇸 The place does not seem much but the food is great, they are really welcome and explain everything. They allow customers to leave their mark on the wall. A really friendly please to have a nice meal, they will explain you everything you want with an smile.

The best food and host in town. Please make sure you come here during your visit to Hue! Banh Loc, pancacke and Nem Lui Tom Xao were delicious.
ELISA C — Google review
The food tastes unrelated. The portion of the food is small, and feels not worth the money. The vegetables are very fresh and plentiful, I like this. Overall it's terrible.
Châu V — Google review
Located near the Citadel Huế we highly recommend stopping in here. We met the lovely owners and went back numerous times for Cold Beer, yummy local food and very friendly, welcoming hospitality from the hosts. We booked private day trips through these wonderful people and we were very pleased. Please do yourself a favour and call in here. Wish we could add photos, don't know why we can't Mr Google?

Lien Hoa

Vegetarian restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Lien Hoa is a popular vegetarian restaurant located in Hue City, known for its clean and fresh vegetable dishes with clear origins. The restaurant, opened by Monk Tue Tam, offers a diverse menu of up to 150 dishes served in a rustic-inspired and eco-friendly setting surrounded by a tropical garden. One of the standout dishes is Va Tron, which features unripe figs along with meat, lettuce, and sesame seeds served on small rice crackers.
Fantastic vegan food. It is a very local place and the staff don’t speak English but it was so worth it. Be aware that the menu offers rough translations. For example, tofu appears as ‘soya paste’. The flavour of the dishes is incredible. I had the aubergine with ginger and it was so good. Totally recommendable if you are vegan
Cris N — Google review
It's such a cool spot for vegetarian food in Hue. The old-style garden house with its open space is charming, and it's been a local favorite for a long time. The food was flavorful! The staff didn’t seem to care much. It might look even better if locals were more mindful about putting napkins in the trash can instead of on the ground, haha.
CURIOUS V — Google review
We visited this place in Hue in early March 2025. The place looked better in pictures than in reality. The place was rustic. The décor looked old and dusty. We tried the fried spring rolls, the Mecan sauce with bread. The second dish was quite hot. Yet, all the food was acceptable. The place was extremely hot, with no air conditioning. Also, I tried the strawberry milk. It was like a milk-and-raspberry cordial with sugar syrup. I had to keep watering it down. This place was popular with locals, which highlighted authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The service was prompt. There are heaps of meal and drink options for vegans, which was great. The place was okay value for money. It was an average visit, but nothing really outstanding. I did not like that the locals were smoking quite close to where we were eating.
Amariah — Google review
Don’t go here. We got bamboozled by the good reviews. This place is such a cash crap for tourist. Instead of offering full meals, you got to pick your meal. With everything like rice, sauce, veggies or soup being 25k. In order to get a complete meal you spent at least 75k. We had amazing vegetarian food in Vietnam with tofu, vegan sausage and everything included for 20-40k. Service wasn’t great either. Decided to have a snack and just got rice and fried jackfruit before getting out of there to eat somewhere else. The male waiter obviously got very angry when I refused to pay 25k for a bowl of rice, didn’t say thank you or bye at all when we paid and left. We remained friendly, they showed a very different side.
Marcel T — Google review
We went there for dinner last night and unfortunately it was the worst experience of our whole trip in Vietnam. As soon as we sat down, no waiter came to us, and when we finally managed to order, the waiter seemed annoyed to even take it. After us, several Vietnamese customers arrived and they were served right away, while we kept waiting and waiting. In the end, we left and went to another restaurant. Terrible experience, I would not recommend it to anyone.
ALBERTO P — Google review
Review of Lien Hoa Vegetarian Restaurant A nice vegan restaurant with a lot of dishes to try. The food was tasty but slightly oily. What I really liked: 1. Lots of options to choose from. 2. Taste What I didn't like: There was some weird smell in the restaurant. Dishes I Tried: Mixed Fried Rice Cabbage Fried With Mushroom Sour Noodles Would I recommend it? If you don't mind eating a bit oily food then I think you should try this restaurant.
Nimit N — Google review
The atmosphere was lively and nice, service was busy and alright. English proficiency is Low although I appreciate the staff trying to understand my question. I had the banana blossom with sesame, it was tasty but not delicately done- didn’t take out some of the harder the ‘bones’ of the buds. Also had the fried tofu with tomato sauce which is underwhelming. Not sure what is the fuss about this dish... the sauce was quite nice but the tofu texture was too tough and chewy. Out of curiosity, I also order the ginseng pineapple milk, which turned out to be some kind of green syrup drink. I tried to ask the staff before ordering but they couldn’t explain what is it, so I just ordered it to try. Sweet and flat, no taste of pineapple Nor ginseng whatsoever. I’d come back to try other dishes if only just to sample different food at a cheap price, but it certainly is not my favourite place for food in town.
Vivian L — Google review
This place is incredibly local. The owner greeted us at the door during a super busy lunch. I was shocked with how big it is, but they still had time to greet us with a smile. They brought an English translated menu, even though we were the only non-locals there. Service was prompt and the younger man that served us spoke English. I asked for his recommendations and he brought us three things. Their house spring rolls (amazing), their friend jack fruit (best thing I have had in so long - think vegan beef jerky and you are on the right track - MUST try) and a sample of different rice rolls (local dish - I would try but none were that great). They gave us free hot tea, and the owner even came by to thank us for coming. Serious must try. I was shocked and so pleased with the experience. Vegan heaven, cheap, quality, good owners, what more do you need? Also, girlfriend (regular eater) loved the rolls and jackfruit. So you gotta go now!

Dessert restaurant
Che Hẻm is a traditional dessert shop located in a small alley on Hung Vuong Street in Hue, Vietnam. Despite its unassuming appearance, this cozy and relaxed spot is renowned for serving a wide variety of sweet soups and fruit drinks. With over 36 variations available, it offers one of the most extensive selections of sweet soups in the region. Each type boasts its own unique taste and comes in an array of ingredients and colors.
We have been here for ice cream many times. It was always very good. This time is a time for lunch. It did not disappoint! Excellent local Huế food.
Mr. M — Google review
I ordered “ chè heo quay”( roasted pork sweet soup) and chè thập cẩm( mixed beans sweet soup). Overall, it was ok, both of them were too sweet for me. The roasted pork balls had thick tapioca skin covered, i wish it was thinner. Interesting!
Cherry N — Google review
The chè desserts here are pretty average. I was passing by and saw this place on a bunch of recommended lists, so I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s well organized and seems clean, but the taste is nothing to rave about.
Eddie L — Google review
Ordered the local special in hue - che bot loc hot quay. It is a roast pork dumpling in a ginger sweet soup. Comes in 3 pieces. The pork is flavourful and the dumpling skin is so chewy. The soup is pure sugar and just a hint of spiciness from the ginger. Everyone go there should try! And all the desserts here is priced at 16k vnd!! So cheap!
Whitney Y — Google review
Hidden down a narrow alley on Hung Vuong Street in Hue, Che Hem is the kind of place that tests your patience before rewarding your taste buds. Miss the tiny sign and you’re committed: a cramped, winding path leads to a tiny, bustling shop. Step inside and the scent of simmering sweet soups hits you like a sugar-coated wall. It’s always crowded, locals and tourists alike jockeying for a seat on tiny plastic chairs that might ruin your back but add a touch of authenticity. Motorbikes line the alley, and the occasional rain turns the entrance into a slippery adventure. The menu is simple: all cups cost the same, with a dizzying variety of sweet soups—beans, lotus seeds, purple yam, banana, and the infamous tapioca dumplings with roasted pork. The latter is a shock at first—chewy dumplings wrapped around savoury pork in a gingery sugar broth—but it works. For those with a sweet tooth, the mixed sweet soups, corn, and mung bean versions hit the mark. For others, it’s a sugar punch that demands a lot of ice. Service is a mixed bag. Some staff are lightning fast and cheerful, while others carry a grumpy attitude that makes you feel like you’re intruding on their lives. Take-out orders get chaotic; you might end up parked in the middle of the alley. The desserts are traditional, reasonably priced, and nostalgic. The space is simple, a bit noisy, but offers a glimpse into daily Hue life. Not every cup will impress, and some tourists leave disappointed, but the roasted pork sweet soup, in particular, earns repeat visits from those daring enough to try it.
Joseph L — Google review
Came here for their special sweet soup with pork. It is one with sweet gingery soup and savory pork dumplings. First very shocking combination but it is ine of those specialities which the more you eat the better it becomes. An experience for the ones who dare to cross their comfort zone. It won't be a hit for everyone though.

Good place to get Vietnamese desserts in Hue. We got 4 different kinds and the best one IMO was sweet mung beans. Service is decent and the place is packed with locals! That’s how you know they have great food.

Restaurant
Cozy Restaurant in Huế is conveniently located at No 27 Hanoi Street, Phu Nhuan, right in the city center. This makes it a great option for those looking for Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes inspired by local Hue cuisine as well as Vietnamese and American fare. In addition to fast food options, they also have healthy specialties like salads, cold appetizers, and baked goods.
This is the best inexpensive and very tasty cafe in the city! the food is just wonderful, very high quality and delicious! The atmosphere in the cafe is very quiet, calm and pleasant! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We ate here twice and each time they brought us a free dessert! We will definitely come here again! I sincerely recommend this place!
Gregory N — Google review
Mainly tourists, food was delicious! After ordering we were warned that there would be a long wait due to being busy, but food came faster than expected ~30 minutes. Service was very good and staff were very friendly. Also provided a free flan for dessert which was a nice touch! Would recommend the yellow curry!
Alex M — Google review
We had dinner here and overall enjoyed the experience. The service was friendly and quick, and the menu had a wide variety of options. The prices were very affordable considering its a very touristy place. The food was good, and after the meal, they offered a complimentary flan dessert to all customers — a sweet and delicious surprise! However, the place didn’t have air conditioning, just a fan, so it was a bit warm and they only accept cash. Also, there was a small issue with our order. We specifically requested seafood rice noodles, but they brought us egg noodles instead. When we mentioned it, they insisted that’s how it’s supposed to be, instead of just apologizing for the mistake. That part was disappointing.
E S — Google review
We had a lovely dinner here! The restaurant is very well hidden but definitely worth visiting! The food was amazing and the prices are very low! We had a dinner with 4 persons. Appetiser , main course and dessert with cocktails. We had to pay 750.000! So that’s 24 euros! Amazing! Would come here again for sure!!
LL0e — Google review
They are so lovely and welcoming. Recommend to all!!! They explained how to eat the pancakes, in spring rolls which was extremely helpful. I never would have know that’s how you supposed to eat them. They are incredible, highly recommend. All the food and drinks were delicious!
Chloe H — Google review
We had a lovely dinner here. When we arrived the restaurant was quite full, it seems popular. They have a vegetarian section on the menu 💚 We tried Bun Reu and Yellow Curry, both very delicious. The portions are good size. They offered free mini flan as dessert which we were not expecting, and it was tasty. Our waitress spoke good english and was happy to serve. The atmosphere is nice, cozy like the name, 2 floors, we ate upstairs and it was a bit hot but they have many fans and air condition too so its alright. The prices are affordable and a good deal considering the quality of the foods. We should comeback, easy to reccomend.

the banh khoai and fried fish is soooo good! they even gave me a dessert (kem flan) to enjoy after my feast. really good food and good service, can’t recommend it enough

Restaurant
Bistro La Carambole is a top choice for those seeking European cuisine in Hue. Nestled in the ancient city, it offers a unique break from traditional Vietnamese fare, transporting diners to Europe with its distinct ambiance. The restaurant's cozy design and central location make it an excellent option for indulging in French, Italian, or local dishes at great value.
First time here. As I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by friendly staff and they showed us to our table. I like the environment and setting of this place. With French music playing in the background and the decor set up bistro style, the food came out great and exceeded all my expectations. Will visit this place again and recommend to my friends and family as well. Very good food and service :)

Had a delicious dinner. Loved the chicken skewers, fries and avocado/shrimp salad. They have traditional Vietnamese options but after a few meals we wanted some variety, and this was perfect. Good service and nicely air conditioned too. Would recommend.
Nicky P — Google review
The most wonderful and tasty food you will find in Hue. The appetizers were a great surprise, the soup was marvelous and the spring rolls were juicy and crispy (on point) The duck is the best meal, very well curated and the taste was superb. The pork was also a little throwback that you can find in Mediterranean cuisine (Iberian style). The staff knows English very well and try their best to serve you with the upmost quality and attention. The place is very clean with a classy look. The music is of french vibes witch is pleasant all around. You just can't get enough of french restaurant (some wannabe) but this one was very, very good. I recommend. It wasn't that expensive for everything that we order and you don't get that 'fast food' indisposition afterwards. One of the best meals in Hue.
Luís T — Google review
Loved this restaurant. Friendly staff who were attentive without intruding and happy to wait for us to order while we were waiting for late comers in our group to arrive. Very good food with a selection of Vietnamese and European (mostly Italian) dishes on offer.
Gary H — Google review
The meal was delicious and artistically presented, and the service was attentive. It was very comfortable - staff put on the air conditioning for us to ensure we stayed cool. Toilets were very clean. The only disappointment was that the pannacotta was half chocolate, which wasn't mentioned on the menu, so my grandmother couldn't eat it as she's allergic. However, my mother swapped her mango ice-cream with her, and both desserts were delicious. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

Oh la la! We found the best coffee, amazing warm bread, impeccable place, beautifully decorated and with caring lovely staff. The best breakfast in Vietnam for sure. Hats off from a fellow chef! Merci!

During my stay in Huế, I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro La Carambole and it was truly one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had in Vietnam. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — a perfect blend of elegance and local charm. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. They took the time to explain each dish, which made the experience even more special. The service was fast yet never rushed — exactly what you’d hope for in a great restaurant. As for the food — absolutely outstanding! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying the bún bò Huế; it was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The fresh spring rolls were light and refreshing, and the grilled lemongrass chicken was simply unforgettable. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and the restaurant’s peaceful ambiance makes it a great spot for both couples and families. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in town!

We were recommended this place by our tour guide. Great recommendation. A good menu selection of both western and Vietnamese foods and all at a very good value. The atmosphere of the place is also very pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone. Please NT staff, and they take CC.

Incredible Indian Cuisine! This Indian restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away by the authentic flavors and rich spices. The dishes are expertly prepared, with a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. The naan bread is fluffy and delicious, and the curries are so flavorful they'll make your taste buds dance. If you're a fan of Indian food, this place is a must-try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was at Shiva-Shakti was packed with flavor. They didn’t hold back on the spice—just the way I like it! The curry was bold and fiery which made for a great experience. I definitely enjoyed my visit to Shiva-Shakti Indian Restaurant. Recommend!

We just arrived in Vietnam and found this airconditioned and very clean restaurant on Google maps as it was within walking distance to our hotel. We both loved our meals and service was great. The naan breads are massive which was a bonus!!

Our party was welcomed and the food was great. I enjoyed the vegetarian set and Mango Lassie. For a moment I forgot I was in Vietnam.

Staff Service is good and cooperative. Atmosphere is soothing. But unfortunately, the food was not good for me. The Curd had become badly Sour. I am not sure why but the Okra skin in my Bhindi Masala had become very chewy. As a guess, it may have happened if the Okras were in the fridge for far too long as that reduces it's original moisture. I am sure your restaurant has good potential but I request them to pay really good attention to their stock and what they are serving. Please, don't feed the customer if your main ingredient is not fresh anymore. Health is Everything.. Thank You for the meal..

I arrived at the restaurant at about 5:00. I had asked that they prepare a chicken vindaloo and have it ready at 5:20. I did not want it ready any earlier as I was picking up rice elsewhere and it would be ready just shortly after 5:20. So they bring out my meal at 5:10. Was I not clear enough? I asked 2 or 3 time for 5:20. Sigh.. they ask for 50,000 Dong for the cheapest rice option. This is expensive here, so I had it made elsewhere. Other East Indian restaurants offer a cheap Vietnamese rice option for 25,000 - 30,000 Dong. The chicken vindaloo was good with a large portion. Plate and utensils were provided. I’d order again, but closer to the time I needed it.

Vegetarian restaurant
Nhà Hàng Cơm Chay Bồ Đề, located near the Perfume River by Phu Xuan Bridge in Hue city, offers a delightful experience for those seeking vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant takes pride in crafting its vegetarian rice into an art form, using only vegetables, tubers, mushrooms, tofu, and green beans as raw materials. The menu features unique specialties such as fig or jackfruit salad and provides plenty of affordable and delicious options not commonly found elsewhere.
I had great service and the food was quality. 100% vegan. 20000 k per dish. Outside sitting is cool. Happy they are open late.

Delicious dessert. Food was interesting, I liked it
Jennifer C — Google review
The food was good, but it was overall not a great experience at all. The service can best be described as lackadaisical where the servers don't really seem like they want to be there, and don't really want to serve you. Additionally the chairs and tables were rusted and looked like they could fall apart any moment. The icing on the cake were the many rats just casually running around the restaurant. The food is pretty good, but it's not worth going through the above.

Friendly people working here. They will try their best to communicate. Nha hang chay served us the best tasting vegetarian dishes.

Seems like very nice and cheap vegeterian restaurant but we came here just before closing so it was only few meals available. Stuff speaks poor English and the menu is on Vietnamese.

This is vegetarian restaurant along the river nice location. The food and price are ok. The services need overhaul.

Has exceeded our expectations. The "Sauced Fried Tofu" was nice and juicy and the "Fried Tofu with Citronella and Hot Pepper" was not spicy but still deliciously lemony. Most importantly, the food was not as oily as it often is. Rice must be ordered separately. Also has good Italian style coffee from the portafilter machine.

Da Nang International Airport (DAD) serves as the gateway for participants and tourists visiting Da Nang to take part in events like the Da Nang International Marathon. The marathon, held annually since 2013, offers various race categories that take runners across the city's picturesque landscapes, including its stunning beaches and mountainous foothills.
09/04/25. Touchdown in Đà Nẵng. It is our first time here. Was pleasantly surprised that their airport is modern, bright, big with lots of space. Luggage was quick to arrive at the carousel. Immigration personnel were quick and friendly. Foreign exchange, telco and transport counters were easy to find. Wish toilets had bidet though.

Da Nang International Airport is a convenient and family-friendly airport. It has a designated nursing room for mothers, which is clean and private — a great help for traveling families. There’s also a small play area for children, making it easier to keep little ones entertained while waiting for a flight. The airport offers a variety of restaurants and food options, so you won’t go hungry. Overall, it’s a comfortable and efficient airport for both domestic and international travelers.

Da Nang Airport is small but very clean and easy to navigate. I arrived around 3 pm for my 6 pm flight, and going through security was quick and smooth with no long lines. There are a few restaurants and shops inside, which is nice if you need to pass some time before your flight. Overall, a pleasant and efficient airport experience.

My flight was at 2:55 AM, so I decided to arrive at the airport early and check in early. I arrived around 5 PM. I remembered that the airport was small when I arrived in Da Nang, but it was close to my hotel, so I could walk. I got off bus number 11, passed the military base, and entered the airport. It was incredibly quiet. There was no one else. The seats were comfortable, so I lay down. After resting for a while, it was past 8 PM and I tried to self-check in. But a message popped up saying it wasn't possible. It was the domestic self-check-in machine. This was the domestic lobby. I headed to the international lobby. The domestic lobby was empty, so I was able to relax. When I got to the international lobby, it was incredibly crowded. Even on a weekday, there were a ton of international travelers. There was no place to rest. Two-thirds of the real-time flight information boards were for Korea. It was incredibly crowded. There were no convenience stores, and the outdoor restaurants near the domestic lobby were the cheapest. There weren't many restaurants in the airport, just a few Highland Coffee shops. Water costs 20,000 VND for 500ml. It's best to eat a full meal in Da Nang before arriving at the airport. Check-in opens three hours before departure, so plan your schedule well in advance. I remember being 10 minutes late from Busan and spending the whole day at the airport before leaving. VietJet is completely unresponsive when their network is down. You can repay your ticket right away and return the next day to get on board. The benches at Da Nang's international terminal are nice. It's a bit hot, but it's comfortable to lie down on. You can also charge your phone. Da Nang Airport is less crowded than Ho Chi Minh City, and it's convenient to use. Ho Chi Minh City and Noi Bai are hell. lol

Compared to Hanoi airport we had a better experience here. Though small in size , they operated efficiently and the entire process was smooth. If your international flight is via Da Nang, you can do last moment shopping at reasonable price here (Hanoi airport stores have double price). Food is reasonable and waiting area is spacious.

Very nice and well managed airport. The officers are very friendly and helpful. For Foreigners will be more convenient. Inside the departure hall have a lot restaurant and store for travelers to buy their food and drink.

UPON ARRIVAL Took us abt 30minutes to get out of immigration upon arrival. Baggage takes about 20minutes. Airport seems new and toilets are clean! You can easily take a grab out into the city using your app….do not ask for help as there’s some grab scammers that’ll approach you. UPON DEPARTURE If you’re departing, I advise to go earlier. During non-peak season, we took a full hour to get our boarding pass + clear Immigration + security check. I HIGHLY advised to eat before comjng to the airport. Everything is in USD here and a bowl of pho is 15usd. A chicken baguette is 8usd and an iced Vietnamese coffee is 7USD. Even the souvenirs here are super expensive. It’s quite ridiculous! U will also board a bus to go to your plane (at least for us; both ways). So best to keep it light with you. WiFi works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t.

Danang International Airport looks new and is quite modern. It's not a big airport so the tubes quickly get used up so passengers need to use buses to get to the arrival terminal. Luggage gets out quick so the staff here are efficient.
