Ubon Ratchathani National Museum

Museum
Sights & Landmarks
Ubon Ratchathani National Museum is a small yet impressive museum located south of Thung Si Meuang Park. It houses a remarkable collection of archaeological finds from the surrounding area, including exquisite Khmer stone carvings and rare old Issan artifacts. Visitors can also admire regional handicrafts such as artful textiles and traditional musical instruments.
National Museum of Ubonratchatani is recommended to visit for more understanding of it's History since pre-historic time until modern day Thailand. It takes only 1-2 hours to walk around and enjoy history lessons
Supree Y — Google review
Note: The museum is only open twice a week, ( Sunday and Wednesday I was told. Best to call). The renovated museum is housed in the former city hall building which dates back to the late 1800’s. The building itself is a beautiful example of architecture from that time period. The museum itself was a pleasant surprise with its professional displays and lighting along with the information nicely printed in Thai and English. The rooms follow a chronological history time line. The artifacts on display from the ancient Khmer Empire,(found at various ruins), are truly priceless and the old Buddhist statues are amazing to see. The whole museum is full of interesting information but not over whelming. It took me an hour to causally go through all the displays and read most of the captions. It’s definitely worth a visit. Note: Foreigners pay more than 20 baht which is the Thai entrance fee. พิพิธภัณฑ์ที่ให้ข้อมูลดีมากพร้อมการจัดแสดงระดับมืออาชีพ

The Ubon Ratchathani National Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in learning about the rich cultural heritage of Thailand. It showcases history from prehistoric times to the present, and you can easily spend 1-2 hours exploring the exhibits.

National museum with nice looking Architecture and during the candle festival with lots people with beautiful uniform in it
Jack C — Google review
Very good but i have a problem with their toilet issue because they closed for maintenance the day i arrived.
ParkeDookDui — Google review
Very interesting museum with khmer influenced Buddha's sculptures. The museum is well maintained and pleasant. Not too big. Next to it, you can visit the City Pilar.
Oliver K — Google review
Really lovely museum with eleven exhibition rooms organised around two courtyards. Originally used as the City Hall, it was built in 1918 in Western Colonial architectural style and opened as the national museum in 1989. Moving from room to room in a clockwise direction the exhibition is organised in chronological order. It starts with Prehistoric periods with archeological finds of artifacts, many from the caves at Ta Lao. Then moves onto the historic periods; Dvaravati, Angkor and Thai-Lao civilisations. The Khmer influence on artistic development is very evident in the carvings displayed. Don't miss perhaps the highlight piece in this collection: "The only sitting Ardhanarishvara sculpture in SE Asia". This region was noted for the very fine craftmanship of it's textiles as noted by King Rama V who acted as agent for their woven silk cloths. Plenty of english text in the museum describing the items and three videos also available in English. Admission 100 Baht
Miles M — Google review
Nice, small museum with interesting exhibits. I was interested to see how the image of Buddha has been transformed in this region. I like the local forms of Buddha. And of course, the androgynous form of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati is impressive.

Nestled in the heart of Ubon Ratchathani, Wat Phra That Nong Bua stands as a stunning testament to Buddhist architecture and spirituality. This remarkable temple features an impressive chedi adorned with intricate gold detailing that captures the eye from afar. The serene atmosphere is complemented by numerous seated Buddha statues, inviting visitors to reflect and meditate.
This temple is well worth the trip. Very few westerners were here and it was a very genuine local experience that I'd highly recommend enjoying. The temple is stunning and there are no pushy vendors outside. Just go!

The winner of wax carving in 2024 Ubon Candle festival. The Chedi may be the main attraction. But the whole temple area is beautiful and interesting. Inside the Uposatha or prayer hall are buddha statues, beautiful escalation ceiling. The rest area is decorated with colorful silk flowers, it's shady and tranquil.
Nik S — Google review
We arrived to see the carved candles and that was amazing. We missed the festival, which is a sight to see...but the carving shows great craftsmanship and artistic abilities of the local people. Beautiful and large temple.
Koko C — Google review
Another extremely beautiful and clean Temple. Very peaceful and relaxing time with the family walking around and praying inside. Would definitely recommend.

Wat an amazing temple! It was pristine the colours clean and sharp, no rubbish anywhere. So much to look at and explore, you feel a real sence of awe and reverence well worth a couple of hours exploring

If you want to clease your spirit this is a famous place in this city to do it, a massive pyramid tower accentuates the local area with ornate dressings in gardens & on standby is world famous candle festival carving floats that happen annually here, a definite must see if your are here. Wat Thung Si Mueang

Mentioned on

Buddhist temple
Nature & Parks
Wat Thung Si Mueang, built during the reign of Rama III, features a well-preserved classic hor drai resting on stilts in the middle of a pond to protect precious scriptures. The original murals in the nearby boht depict life from that era and are remarkably well-preserved. Visitors can observe local daily life and witness beautiful worship areas, with locals engaging in morning exercises like cycling, yoga, and Tai Chi.
An Old temple in Ubonratchatani there is a scripture library that keeps Buddhist scripture on the water 200 years old with mixed architecture of Rattanakosin and Laotian style.
Supree Y — Google review
My third Temple visit of the day and so different to the previous two, but that's what I like, variety. The north part of the site is a bit disheveled and unfortunately their "star attraction" the Scripture Hall is undergoing restoration and enclosed in scaffolding. The wooden scripture hall was built in 1842 in traditional Isan style on high stilts over a small pond with a two tiered gable roof. I would probably give 5 stars if this building wasn't currently covered. The main attraction is therefore the small ordination hall. You must step inside to view the old painted murals on it' walls.
Miles M — Google review
Located in Ubon Ratchatani. This temple was built to house Buddha footprint during the reign of Rama 3. Of historical interest is the Tripitaka library, built on stilts with a moat around it to protect document from insects.
Cheekybulls — Google review
Another good time there to join with history 😀. The location inside the city and able to access by road either car or other vehicle may need. The temple itself calling them as tourists atrachtion already. Nice and cozy for positive thing. 😊 Recommend for those who like the historical and learn. Quite and Clean. Hope to be back there again in soon future 🙏
Kwanchai Y — Google review
The floating library house is in this place. Quite nice. Surrounding the library is lotus flower plant. But, it’s not blossom season when I visit this place.
Jamaliah S — Google review
Worth for visiting, these temple was built 200 years ago . The interesting structure is temple hall that have Buddha statue and old paintings at the wall. Another is Buddhist scripture hall that was built from woods in traditional Isan style. Cons - a lot of pigeons , and pigeons poop in scripture hall.
Pui1567 — Google review
This temple has an important building in its grounds, Script Repository. This is the method of keeping palm scripts, ancient knowledge. Buddhist texts and local knowledge. It was built on water to keep the ants out. Now this building is full of bats and pigeons, which poop everywhere.
Matthew B — Google review
A beautiful old temple in the city center. A not to be missed stop on your visit of the many sights of Ubon. The masterpiece is the old wooden structure in the middle of a pond.

One of the nicest temple in Ubon Ratchathani. The main structure has a big Golden Buddha and incredible lamps to illuminate the intererior. It is a beloved temple by the population so highly frequented on special Buddhist days.
Oliver K — Google review
Omg this temple is stunning both during the day and night
Michael G — Google review
A new temple design with an impressive wooden interior. Definitely well taken care of. Worth visiting.
William H — Google review
Some renovation work currently going on at the front of the site around the shrines but the main temple buildings, Ubosot and Assembly Hall in the middle of the site are resplendant. It's a popular site with Thai people coming to make merit. The inside of the main building with it's many spotlights and coloured glass is beautiful.
Miles M — Google review
A more modern style temple but very well decorated on the outside. At the time of my visit (July 2017) it wasn't 100% completed. It is situated on a large compound which seems to also include a monastic school so you will see Monks and Novices of varying ages.
Z W — Google review
Importance temple in Ubon Ratchathani locate in the town. The large candle style art of building.
Rawadee K — Google review
This is an ancient Buddhist Monastery in Ubon Ratchathani, it established in 18th century. There is a huge Buddha statue that called ‘PHRA CHAO YAI IN PAENG’, the words derived from Thai which means The Buddha statue was made by the Angles. Recently people in Ubon Ratchathani believe that if they want to do something just come and pray for doing that it helps them succeed, even for education also including traveling. Nowadays there are renovating or reconnecting the pavilion due to the old one got damaged, so new pavilion is very artistic, exquisite in contemporary style which is mixing with northern and northeastern styles. So anyone who reached Ubon Ratchathani should not miss this temple.

Wat Si Ubon Rattanaram, also known as Wat Si Thong, is a captivating temple that offers visitors a glimpse into the spiritual heart of Ubon. Home to the revered Phra Kaew Butsarakham, Thailand's largest topaz Buddha image, this sacred site has deep historical roots dating back to its founding when it was brought from Vientiane.
This temple is the place where Phra Ajaan Mun Phurithatto was ordained as a monk at the age of 23, with the religious name “Phurithatto”, which means “the one who spreads wisdom”.
Prat M — Google review
In the midst of Ubon city is a rather serene well positioned temple where locals can do their spiritual beliefs
Rob N — Google review
This is a spacious Temple site just off the main road. It was built in 1855 during the reign of King Rama IV in the style of Dhammayutti Temple.
Miles M — Google review
A calm temple set in a wooded area across from the Nat'l Museum. This is more of an ordinary temple (from a tourist perspective). There is a large school on the grounds where kids will happily (with giggles) practice their English speaking skills with you.
Z W — Google review
Very nice temple. It seems to be the main temple of the city.
Ziya T — Google review
Great temple 🛕 set in spacious grounds along one of the main roads in Ubon , beautiful buildings and nice grounds
Jon H — Google review
The must visit for blessing and bathing the holy topaz Buddha in Songkran Ubon. Year over year, maybe back to 50 years before my childhood, this becomes very meaningful tradition.

A nice little park. You find a track for running as well as some equipment for work-out. But people also use the park to relax, meet or just for a walk. It’s very central and not far from the river. It’s not big. But the bigger park is quite far. This one does the job.

One of the more famous temples in Ubon as there's around 41,000 temples within the country to choose. Large forest area with long walking paths, some camp here for their spiritual needs
Rob N — Google review
A forest temple situated over a large area with many buildings around the terrain, with a Vipassana meditation centre. There was a tour of the forest area, a visit to the Pagoda and later to the museum. A quiet place surrounded by trees and vegetation, without crowds, and with few people to be seen over the vast area when I made my visit.
John S — Google review
Beautiful and peaceful. There are teachings of Luang Pu Cha who has many thoughts that are placed them on the trees and between the paths. It is an ideal place to practice Dharma and find the addiction in our hearts.

Great place to practice dhamma. Come register at the public relations building first. Foreigners can stay here as long as they want. Less activity and busy than wat ba nanachat. A few English speaking monks here, one who likes to teach meditation to Thai and foreigners. Wake up drum call at 3:00AM. Morning chanting at 3:15AM. Meal of the day ceremony begins around 8A.M.
David M — Google review
An interesting history which is well documented in displays at the outer buildings. Set in the woods, the wat looks other-worldly as you approach. The interior is splendidly finished, making for a rewarding experience for devotees.
Vietem — Google review
Beautiful serene monastery with Ajahn Cha's teachings scattered throughout in the trees. Perfect place to meditate and encounter the dhamma. Suggested itinerary: Come to the entrance at 5.30am to give offerings to the monks returning from alms round, then walk around the grounds and explore the chedi/stupa further in. Come back to the main hall for blessing at 8am then if you want, get a plate and share in the remaining breakfast offerings after the monks have taken their share. After that go visit the Ajahn Cha museum. Great place for anyone seeking peace and wisdom. A must visit for followers of Ajahn Cha and his many Western and Thai monks to come pay homage to the amazing founder of this tradition.

Restaurant
Peppers Restaurant & Bakery is a charming family-owned gem nestled in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Drawing on years of hospitality experience from Germany, Mexico, and the USA, this establishment prides itself on delivering authentic Western cuisine while ensuring freshness and quality are never compromised. Although it’s not a street food venue, Peppers boasts an eclectic menu that showcases dishes inspired by various culinary traditions.
The authentic and affordable Western cuisine in Ubon. The location is easy to find, not far away from the airport. There is not a lot of parking spots but I think you can park on the side of the road. The burritos are good, as well as the burrito bowl, which brings the taste of Mexico to Ubon. The other Western style food like these Baked potatoes and pies are also available. It’s a little bit more expensive than average Thai food, but for Western food, it’s a decent price, around 200-300 Baht per person. Overall, a good meal with good service.

I went to this place based on good reviews.DO NOT make the same mistake I did. They got my drink wrong to start. Then, as you want poached eggs it will be 5 more minutes...10 minutes later, we have no sausages, I'm not pleased but they carry on. Not 1 person in this shop and I waited 40 minutes for 2 poached eggs and grilled streaky bacon. The owner, the American guy, disappeared. No taking responsibility for this guy. This ruined my day. If you have any sense, stay away, like it looks everybody else does.
Derek P — Google review
The new location had ample parking day or night. As a burrito snob, they won me over to the Sante Fe style with a good tortilla and well balanced stuffing of good ingredients. Everything tasted very fresh. The soup had a rich and deep flavor. I will go back to try the burger and pizza soon. The two girls working were nice and did a great job.
Joseph — Google review
5 stars for this restaurant serving mostly european and american dishes. But they do serve Asian food, too. The food is very good and close to western taste. One remark... the lasagna has to get more pasta and white sauce than minced meat... Service is top and the restaurant itself very comfortable with enough space for eating calmly. The boss is friendly and supervises everything to meet the needs of the customer. A very good and sure value.

OK. The new location is open and still cooking the same menu we are accustomed to and have grown to love. It is looking to be a great move, as the reservoir area surrounding the restaurant would seem to have a lot of long-term potential. They are still doing some renovations to the building, so the first time we visited, there was a paint smell like that which we were trying to get away from at our new house that is similarly undergoing work. The next time they were repairing the fancy multi-directional A/C unit .The quesadilla, however, was excellent. Not the best I have ever had (that would ironically be at a bar in Hong Kong and not in the US or Mexico, but I digress), but it is right up there with them all and such a treat to be able to get this delicious dish in Ubon. Went back again for lunch, since it is only a few minutes from our new house, and got the schnitzel. Not up to the usual standards, with the breading falling off, cutlet a bit too thick, but still a treat to get here in Ubon, and I am hoping the transition to the new location is to blame for the variance. We want to delve more into the bakery menu going forward, since the kids love fresh bread, and they sell the ever popular banana bread that we eat on a regular basis (stiff competition here in Ubon, though, so we shall see). We haven’t eaten the pizza yet, but plan to do so, and if it is delish as we expect, will make it our go to for Friday pizza and movie night. In summary, glad to see this place is still here for our blended Thai-American family. Earlier post: Went to eat there today and it is closed. Seems they have moved to a place farther north of the city, but it is not clear if it has all the Western menu items. They were not open when we dropped by the new location, so not sure.

Had delivery, still eating, way too much black pepper. The meal was a bowl of spaghetti with Italian sausage. The portion is ridiculously small, personally I doubt anyone left in this restaurant staff knows how to cook Italian. Will rate the Atmosphere since have walked inside to this forever abandoned empty room. Incredibly overpriced for the portion & taste. $$$$

Nestled along the vibrant dining strip of Phichitrangsans, Somtum Jinda Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Isaan cuisine. Established in 1974, this air-conditioned haven offers a delightful escape from the heat while serving up traditional dishes that are bursting with flavor.
If anyone has a desire for a gourmet feast of อีสาน food, I truly appreciate this restaurant, it’s highly recommended for the pungent aroma and the piquant taste of the cuisines. Every dishes that we order is scrumptious! The Yam Talay was cheap and I really enjoyed it, with salmon, shrimp, crab sticks and crabs.you can ask for the waiter to make it less spicy, and the amiable waiters and chef will try their best to make it as what you want it to be. The roasted chicken is a non-spicy dish so it is a great pleasure for kids and other people who couldn’t eat spicy food. You must try their fried catfish, undoubtedly, it’s one of their best dishes with an aroma of lemon and fish sauce, so if you couldn’t eat fish sauce, just tell them! The service was excellent and food were extremely delicious, please have a go at it if you went to Ubon.

Must have reservations to eat at this establishment. Best Thai food I had in a long time! Known for the papaya salad. Recommend the corn and salmon salad and all the yum-type salads. So fresh tasting and so good!

We loved our dinner here, especially the Duck Larb! A little hard to find from the street, but quiet and very professional inside. We talked to the owners a little bit too and they are extremely nice and helpful. They recommended boiled sausage which we ate for the first time. Green mango was excellent but we found the fish tasted too strong.

Chomjan Bar & Restaurant is a remarkable dining establishment with an enchanting ambiance, exceptional customer care, delectable cuisine and beverages, and a stunning river vista. The architectural design of the buildings is also aesthetically pleasing, making this place highly commendable. It offers excellent seafood options accompanied by swift and attentive service. With reasonable prices, guests can choose between indoor seating for the scenic view or outdoor seating for a refreshing experience.
5 stars for this restaurant on the Mun River. There is a huge terrace with a beautiful view over the river. The menu is very complete with all sorts of dishes from fish to meat, Thai soups, tasty and genuine... At night, there is a live band for the animation.

Quite a high end restaurant with a great outdoor seating area on the roof. Good entertainment with a female singer, very helpful staff. Although the food was delicious the sweet menu was very disappointing we ordered an ice cream which came in a cardboard container what you would expect in a 7 Eleven. We paid ฿2,000 for 6 people.

Huge boat themed restaurant with various dining areas including rooftop, lakeside and bar setting, both with live performance The issue is with the food Were served "frozen" shashimi that was not properly thawed; can feel ice bits when put in the mouth. Horrifying! The steak was too thin for the price and it's overcooked Fried pork skin was not fresh and hardened Really disappointing dining experience for such a nice set up

It is a wonderful restaurant by the river. The wine list was good, too. The food was normal but better for foreigners.

Great food, great venue, great views. What a lovely place to enjoy dinner by the river. We were lucky to be there at sunset and sitting on the top deck area. The staff were really helpful and friendly, even the senior managers. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This restaurant name is Chomjan it is mean “See the moon”, and the view is so nice. It is perfect to see the sunset. If you want to see the sunset you have to sit in the floating area. The food is good but kind of very slow. Grilled shrimps and boiled cockles are good, very impressive. In Google Maps, the restaurant said they are open at 4pm but when we arrived there the one of the staff said they open at 5pm, so we are confused (We arrived at 4.30pm). She is not even invited us to sit. We have to ask to have a seat by our self. and the way she talked to us is not like she is welcome. But the other staffs are nice.

Indochine is a beloved Thai-Vietnamese fusion restaurant that has been delighting patrons for over half a century. Renowned for its signature dish, 'Kanom Tway Yuan,' this delightful snack features chewy flour topped with savory grilled pork. Another must-try is the 'Naem Nueng,' available in various sizes and served alongside fresh local vegetables and a special peanut sauce.
The best! This Vietnamese restaurant is so traditional and delicious. Still be my all-time favorite. The most popular dish is Nam Neung. If you’re new to this, I would recommend you to order wrapped by the restaurant. It’s much easier for you to eat. Another favorite dish goes to “Deef fried minced pork rolls”. That is so crispy. The price is above average from other vietnamese restaurant. But compared to quality, I think it’s worthy.

A delicious restaurant that you should visit at least once if you travel to Ubon Ratchatani. Mostly Vietnamese-style food. Especially, pork skewers wrapped in vegetables are delicious. Rice noodles are light and can be eaten by anyone.

I like the way that food combine the taste together to be perfect match. Chef has so much skills of cooking and detailing knowledge about each ingredient to create the paradised tasty without condiment. One main dish with condiment or sause creat the fabulous amazing taste. Should recommend for everyone who love fresh vegetables and Vietnamese food.

Indochine is a 90-year-old Vietnamese restaurant in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand’s easternmost province. It has a Michelin Bib Gourmand award and is featured in the 2023 and 2024 Michelin Guide. The restaurant offers tasty and affordable Vietnamese food, which is common in the area due to its proximity to Vietnam. The place is spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating, and has an adjoining bakery with excellent croissants and filled cruffins. The Bánh bèo, and the bánh cuốn with pork and mushroom fillings are highly recommended. A standout dish is the Chạo tôm, shrimp paste wrapped around sugar cane sticks and fried, served with a tangy dipping sauce. The bánh xèo, a turmeric-flavored rice flour pancake with bean sprouts, pork, and shrimp, is also very good. Indochine is a must-visit in Ubon Ratchathani. Long time family restaurant. I get used to Vietnamese food here than Udornthani. But lately I think the taste and raw material change, hardly have star fruit in Namnueng now, only green mango. The flour of Kanomtuay is also different. Miangtod is quite hard as well. Kanombueng doesn't look nice. People said that it's quite pricey.

The experience here of dining was a great one with live music playing in the background and absolutely delicious food. It is a place that is easy to relax in and enjoy the atmosphere. Our total bill was close to 1000 bhat which was completely reasonable for the quality of food which was some meat loaf, pineapple fried rice and Tom yum soup and a cocktail. I loved this place and would defiantly come back here. The friendly engaging staff should also be mentioned just because their customer service was excellent. I am so sorry everyone I have to tell the truth. 😢 First of all I saw this restaurant from reliable TV show in Thailand 🇹🇭🇯🇵. And I decided to come to Ubon. ✈️I reserved the table before I came here for 2 week. 📞 When I came, my first impression is the grumpy manager 😡I was waiting for preparation almost 1 hr. Finally I have a seat near 2 teenagers and old man, they talked a lot and very loud without worrying to anything for ~1.5 hr. And the plates had came, starting with dry sliced salmon so disappointed ☹️ others also disappointed too. The grilled sliced beef was good but not good enough for tonight. PS. I bought the most expensive in all you can eat options. ~2900฿ for both of us. This price including vat and service charge.

My brother and I just want to eat Japanese curry. Go for a la carte but choose buffet 290++/p 😅 (vat.7% service charge 5%) drinks not included. (Buffet price: 290, 390 and 500) This dinner we spent 719.04THB Overall.. good food and nice service.

Went with the family here yesterday. We had a wide selection of the foods and a nice bottle of Rosso. Anything was so delicious and just melted in our mouths, there was not one thing we ordered which didn't meet expectations. The pictures in the menu were, unlike many other places in Thailand, not overselling. 5 stars on food presentation and taste. While I understand it can be difficult to have everything on the menu available, they might consider cutting down on the range instead of showing a menu with one third of the options unavailable. Service, though a little inexperienced, was attentive and they made an effort of talking english with me even several thai people in the party. While the location can be viewed as a big container from the outside, they have done a great job with decorations and ambience so the feeling when inside is taking you on a trip far from Thailand. The music was at a suitable level and there was a spot for live sessions which i believe will only add to the overall experience when in use. All in all a great finer dining experience, of which I haven't found many in Ubon. Will definitely come back and recommend any to go.

Agave Vietnamese Cuisine & Cafe is a delightful haven for food lovers seeking authentic Vietnamese flavors. This charming eatery prides itself on crafting fresh dishes from scratch, including delectable fish noodles, grilled pork, and mouthwatering fish cakes. Their spring rolls are a must-try, offering a perfect balance of taste and texture. One standout dish is the 'Khao Jee Pork Skewers,' which creatively combines local ingredients into a waffle format served with spicy sauce—an experience that will leave you craving more.
All dished are well prepared, if u need more hot and spicy, do cut some chili and added in the dishes. Be careful this pale chilies are burning ones. Banana flowers salad is refreshing. Fish noodles soup is really good, the noodles were made from fishes. Ice cream is not impressive and a little bit too expensive.

Wow, been looking for great Itallian food in Ubon and this is it! Hidden a little off the main road, the restaurant is inviting, clean and decorated nicely to add to the Itallian atmosphere. Was quiet when visited on a Thursday evening, but has a feeling it is a nice quiet reastaurant at any time. Ordered the beef pizza and asked for fresh chillies to be added. Our request was accomadated 100%. Pizza was delicious, base not too thin and plenty of fresh ingredients and cheese! Beer was also chilled nicely, no ice required. Nice decor. Food was tasty. Slow service. We were the only two people in the restaurant apart from staff/family at a table who seemed to be enjoying a better service than we were. Each item ordered arrived on its own. Salad first, lasagne ten minutes later and pizza after reminding them we ordered one. It took about 20 minutes to arrive. Consequently, we ate our meals separately. We go restaurants to eat together. It's quite typical in Thailand to be served piecemeal. They serve when they want with little regard to the customer's dining experience. It was over-priced too. Our first and last visit.

Great food..... Louzy service.... We had a salad which was good size serving with great creamy dressing,. Vegetarian pizza was baked to perfection with plenty off veggies. The seafood pesto fettuccini dqually delicous in flavor with your standard 2 mussels, 2 shrimp and a few squid rings. I orderen a gkass of wine and was told they did not have any. No wime ? No we dont want to open a bottle for 1 glass. But you have per glass on the menu. No not tonight. Then i guess it must have been the son whom constantly ran back and forth in the restaurant. The owner was talking loud and had someone on the speaker phone. Seriously ? When i wanted to.pay. no C.C. accepted ? You do know this is the 21 st century ? I may go back because the food was really good. But owner, please you are selling a dining experience and tonight what you gave us was not a pleasant atmosphere. Work out the details please.

Such a cool little place for dinner or dessert. The shop design is the standout as there is a pond with fish and large animal statues, an airplane, helicopter and more. The kids will have a great time here for sure.

The decor is fun with many seating options, a cafe, a trolley car, outdoor, or a modern restaurant style. The service was impeccable although you pay two bills, one from the cafe (drinks and cakes) and the other, for your meal. The milkshake was quite tasty. The looked a little different than in Chiang Mai but it was just as delicious. This is the Thai style of ordering: you are given a menu, a small pad of paper and a pen. You write your order and hand it to the waiter. I am not sure the level of English spoken as I placed my order in Thai. Well worth a try!

Good international and domestic airport. It should be the biggest airport in the region. The nearest international airport of the same level should be Phnom Penh airport.

Small but sufficient for what's needed, clean and modern, very helpful staffs, car hire was simple and return was even simpler

Clean airport. still looks relatively new. There are several cafes to chill while waiting for flights. May 25: there’s a city bus to town/ bus terminal/ Central Ubon Mall. Bus stop is just outside the terminal on the right side once you step out. Outside black canyon cafe. For just 20b. Frequency is low though. I took the 12.45pm bus, but it departed at 12.40pm. Reach terminal at 1.10pm.

Small but clean airport. The toilet is clean. There is a prayer room, but you need to ask the staff at the information counter service to open the door. You may find local product in this airport and the price is not that expensive. It’s just a little bit higher from the outside shop but very reasonable. On the other hand, if you need to rent a car, you may go to gate 3 and walk outside to the left.

This airport is in really bad shape, all the tiles in the waiting are are stained. There is no carparking since they closed the dirt carpark near the entrance gate.

Modern airport with international and domestic flights. Easy and quick access to the departure gate. Lack of big restaurants and shops in the departure zone. However, there are some shops on the west side of the departure area, for coffee and snacks.
