London Steak Buriram (Branch 1)

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
London Steak Buriram Branch 1 is a popular dining spot with two locations in Buriram. The restaurant is known for its affordable prices and high-quality food. Customers praise the delicious beef double cheeseburger, mac-n-cheese bowl, and other menu items. The staff are described as professional and friendly, providing excellent service. Visitors recommend trying the steaks, French onion soup, and Thai dishes.
Happy New Year. We’ve been traveling Asia and I wanted to drop a review from a wonderful event over the holidays. We were looking for a Christmas dinner over the holidays and ran across London Steak in Buriram Thailand. The evening was fantastic with several entertainment events, gifts and of course, the food I actually believe it was the best holiday meal I’ve ever had. The lamb was falling off of the bone, the sides were mouthwatering. The steak tenderloin was so tender and just to perfection Wonderful owners, super fun staff and if you’re in Buriram, give them a try. Note: the price per person was proper for a holiday meal this big but their day to day menu is also very competitive with similar venues I noticed
Rich P — Google review
ended up taking away. It was quite a long wait for the food. The food was very good. Pork rid was flavourful and portion was big. Grill chicken was juicy and the bake pototoes was nice. Price was reasonable. It is a nice place to chill and relax, unfortunately, we were rushing for time.
Kesmond K — Google review
Positive: staff are pleasant Negatives Without doubt the worst curry I’ve ever had. The vindaloo had no spice, unevenly chopped bits of chicken, the naan bread was inedible, harder than Danny dyer on a night out with the chizzle. Complained and they gave me 50% off, which should of been 100% as it was inedible.
Harry M — Google review
great food easy access location. lots to choose from if your looking for some native cuisines. prices are very reasonable. we'll worth the visit
Brian G — Google review
I wish I could give this place a better review, but unfortunately, my girlfriend and I both got food poisoning after dining here. I had the chicken baguette, and she had the pork steak. Within hours, we both felt extremely unwell. This was the only meal we had in common that day, so there's no doubt it came from here. Food safety should be a top priority, and this experience was unacceptable. I highly recommend that the restaurant reviews its food handling and hygiene practices. We won’t be coming back.
Krexx P — Google review
Delicious western food. Also Thai food. Lot of beer brands. For example Karlsberg from Czech.
Thomi M — Google review
A spacious restaurant with a full menu with a lot of different food. A lot of Western but also Thai food. And of course beer in many varieties, and other drinks. Pleasant service and decent prices. Parking in the street next to the building.
John S — Google review
I think the name is misleading. Please don’t go here thinking that it’s British or European quality. It’s the same old Thai style hit or miss foreign style food or so so Thai grub. I’ll give them credit for the chips or French fries not being over done as they sometimes are elsewhere. If you go for breakfast take a pic of their example and ask for the same to save getting a Thai style burnt egg on its underside. I give only 2star due to misleading name otherwise would be 3-4 .

Jimmy's sports cafe

Restaurant
If you find yourself in Buriram, make sure to stop by Jimmy's Sports Cafe for a delightful dining experience. This charming spot offers a diverse menu featuring British classics like fish and chips, pasties, and hearty full English breakfasts that will remind you of home. The atmosphere is inviting, whether you choose to enjoy your meal in the air-conditioned interior or on the terrace. The cafe prides itself on cleanliness and friendly service, making it a pleasant place to relax after exploring the area.
Jimmy's is changing their name to Pom&Gene Sport's Cafe. Same great food, same menu items, same experienced cooks.
Gene H — Google review
I visited the restaurant to survey on it, asked the waiter at which time the restaurant close. And the answer is 9pm, fine. I asked her to affirm it will be close on 9pm. She does so. However, when I arrived at 8pm, the restaurant close. I'm not sure if restaurant's owner just had enough, or the waiter just lied. But I'm quite disappointed. Anyway, restaurant is up for sale. So I'm a bit not surprise.
Punn B — Google review
Just popped in for some food on 2 afternoons. Nice clean quiet place. Good quality food and the big English breakfast was the best I’ve had in Thailand. Fried bread and toast with a butter knife. Menu looks good and reasonable prices. Friendly patrons and owner. Top draw !!
Les R — Google review
delicious, great portion size at a fair price.
Sarita D — Google review
Sunday Roast is a real treat living in Isaan. The restaurant is clean and Jimmy should be proud of his team. The food is authentic and prices more than fair.
Christopher H — Google review
Good restaurant nice staff..with many tourist Welcome to Buriram
Watthana P — Google review
Had an English breakfast which was decent! Been a while since I'd had one in Thailand. The menu has a pretty decent range for foreigners and the prices are pretty fair too.. Only thing was disappointed with was the breakfast said 2 sausages and I got this weird slab of meat looking thing and I asked to swap the coffee with water but I think I got charged for the water. Wouldn't stop me going back though :)
Anto G — Google review
Service great but Beer served not the coldest on all occasions, ask for cold beer but offered ice i my glass. Best is beer was on ice, not ice in beer. Cold Beer get my positive review and they did not serve all night.

Bamboo Bar

$$$$affordable
Bar & grill
Bamboo Bar is a popular spot for both locals and foreigners in Buriram. It's known for serving food all day, with live music performances in the evenings. The venue has a relaxed atmosphere, especially during early evening visits when it's not too crowded. The menu offers tasty dishes, and the friendly staff provide great service. While the cocktails are affordable, they may not be exceptional.
Very pleasant experience during my visit, which was early evening so the venue was not too crowded. Most of the clients were foreigners, so it gives the impression this is the local expat place. Food was very tasty and I ordered additional dishes for takeaway, as I'm traveling and having some prepared food was ideal. The staff were very accommodating and all smiles 😃
Matt M — Google review
Portions a little small but nice enough. Great service, with ice deliveries for beer regular, Very nice touch. Live music was good.
Josh — Google review
I ordered a catfish salad and stir fried mix veg and both were very satisfying. The service is friendly and the owner keeps an eye on things. Cocktails are cheap but not great. There was not much else we could find on Google in terms of restaurants so we feel this is a sanctuary for foreign travellers in Buriram, especially for fans of football!
Adam A — Google review
We went for an early dinner around 5pm. Good was ok - krap pow moo, kana moo grob. Beer was cold, the missus had red wine which she said was good. Very quiet, not many customers. Overall it was a good experience.
Teege — Google review
An okay Bar - Restaurant in the center of Buriram. Stopped in for lunch and a cold beer, which they fixed up nicely. Decent portion of food, so I was full when I walked out. The traffic creates some noise, but if you're in the city, the noise goes with it. Parking may not be the easiest, but there are options in the streets around the place.
John S — Google review
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere! Food is good, wine taste fine and prices reasonable.
Erik B — Google review
Decent place to have a drink and some food. Service is good as are the prices. There was live music when I was there, not great but okay. Mostly a friendly foreign crowd.

AfriKa Bar | Restaurant

$$$$affordable
Bar
Restaurant
If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience in Buriram, look no further than AfriKa Bar | Restaurant. This lively spot welcomes everyone, including vegetarians, and boasts an impressive menu featuring delicious Indian and Mexican dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The atmosphere is relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating options under the cooling fans, making it perfect for enjoying a meal or catching up with friends over ice-cold beers.
We came as a family of 5, location of the map is spot on and easy to find as it's a decent sized restaurant/bar. Upon entry you will find many tables, some outside and some under cover. Restaurant is fan cooled and open so has a great outdoor feel wherever you sit. Tables are mainly the heavy duty tree styled ones which are comfortable, clean and well maintained. Padded cushions also provided if required. Food and drinks, a very good selection of thai with western options available and also Mexican. My thai family opted for thai dishes that ranged from the pla gapong to garlic prawn sashimi, everyone said the food was tasty but a little sweet for their pallets that suggests that the food is cooked more towards a westerners palates or that is how true Esan food is served? Still very nice they said with all food being a good size and nicely prepared. Not many options for vegetarians but everything is made to order and easily catered to a vegetarian requirement. I took a vegetarian enchilada and cheese quesadilla, both dishes were very tasty, a good size and nicely presented. Food ws also a very decent price for what you get. A nice selection of drinks available from beers to wines and also a few choices of cider that was very welcome! Service was super friendly, helpful and attentive when needed. All girls very good at English so making an order is easy with the food coming as requested. Free wifi is available plus spaces for car parking if you are travelling by car. Looks like live music is put on at certain nights which I'm sure is a big hit. Just being there was nice and relaxing but the music will add a quirky vibe I'm sure. If sitting near the shrubs ask for mosquito repellent as there are quite a few mozzies about here, or a quick spray of mozzie repellent before you get there will keep the little vampires at bay. Overall a really nice relaxing place to enjoy some decent food at reasonable prices and come highly recommended!

came with my dad and family. amazing bar, watched chelsea vs everton. lovely setting and the staff are so so friendly, would definitely recommend everyone to come here if they visit or live in buriram. will be back again 100% :)
Jemma W — Google review
I went, it was closed. Will try another time. Bit of a harsh response. We came in good faith. Google maps said you were open, our grab driver said you were closed, I persisted, we got there, you were closed. How can I give a review if you're closed? Can't comment on food, service, or atmosphere. That was 9th April. Resident of Buriram. And not witless.
Andrew S — Google review
They have the best Indian and Mexican food

Fantastic little spot. Downtown close to everyone. A menu for local and foreign guy like myself! We had Indian food and was fantastic. A must visit!
James S — Google review
Buriram's go to restaurant / bar. The veggie Indian was my favourite and bring on the range of beers - three English bitters on offer. The staff were very lovely in the way only Thais can be. What's not to like.

Been going to Afrika bar for a few years now whenever I’m in town, always ice cold beers and great selection of food on the menu, curry is propper! Geordie and the big boss K Big, very hospitable always make time for a chat or give great local advice. Staff nice and pool table and all sports shown on multiple TV’s. Always a must visit for me every time I’m im Buriram. Some of the negative reviews I’ve seen are clearly written by people that just cannot ever be pleased. Keep it up! Team Afrika we certainly appreciate your hospitality.

Visitors rave about the ambiance, delicious dishes, and the chef's expertise in crafting traditional Italian cuisine. Great Italian restaurant:) The owner super nice and make very good dishes. The pizza is nice and you must try the ravioli with the cheese and spinach! It’s a quiet area that have parking and very easy to find that place :) If you like Italian food I’m sure you will enjoy from that place at buriram
Dor G — Google review
Regarded as the best Italian restaurant on the town of Buriram and boy, I am so glad that review was so true! The pasta, pizza and even the complimentary bread was at the finest of it. The amtaricana pasta was the best I ever had, even in Singapore. Highly recommended! Parking is not easy though if u drive or ride a big bike.
Jerrick L — Google review
Thank you for the wonderful meals and the warm, friendly service every time. The pasta and pizza are delicious, the cold cuts are the best, and the wine selection is superb, with fantastic recommendations from the owner. During my three months in Buriram, this place became one of our fondest memories. If I ever have the chance to visit again, I’ll definitely come back🫶🏻🫶🏻

Great experience at Osteria Italia! I've been eating here several times, enjoying delicious and tasty food as well as fresh products from italy. Everything cooked in a good talian style. The Manager and his wife are very kind, and the staff as well. Ciao Vincenzo, a presto ( see you soon)

Authentic Italian food served by attentive chef / owner. All dishes taste really good and well worth the price.
Om P — Google review
Has bread welcome. We went to have and it was very delicious. The pizza waited 15-20 minutes.
Nopparat P — Google review
For a real authentic Italian lunch or dinner this is my favorite restaurant in Buriram. They owner/chef takes your food orders and his waitress serves up addictive warm bread, The salads, pasta and beverages are well worth the money. Real nice vibe.
Craig G — Google review
Osteria is an Italian restaurant that does not only serve great pizza but other traditional Italian dishes too - which is not really common up here in Buriram. They do have a pizza buffet on Fridays which they should advertise a bit more. I had a generous slice of pizza that came complimentary, then some cold cuts as antipasti which were good. Antipasti could have had a bit more of variety though. As main I had tortellini and for dessert I wanted to sample the Tiramisu but unfortunately he didn't have any. So some icecream did the job.

Pleasantly surprised. Not stingy on the cheese, and tastes much better than it looks! The best pizza you can possibly get outside of BKK. Also great place to get some work done as it’s usually quiet. Don’t hesitate.

The best pizza and pasta in Buriram...maybe even thailand . Wonderful
Paul M — Google review
Understaffed. 15 minutes to wait before I could start ordering and get something to drink. The only waitress did as good as she could. The Pizza Buriram did not impress.
Kurt B — Google review
Very quite. thin crust pizza. Had x2 8 inch pizzas .very tasty. Excellent. Plenty of parking spaces. Google maps accurate.
David M — Google review
In Nov 2022, I went for dinner and most of the sitting area was closed. They were open one section with air conditioning but still quite hot. Pizza was super thin and taste OK. The service was lowered than my expectations.
LS S — Google review
My favourite pizza in Buriram. They use real tomato sauce and cheese, it's always been good
Mr T — Google review
Down a side road, easily found through google maps. Plenty of parking. Nice basic but comfortable and spacious interior with an exterior area too. Pizza was better than I expected. You cant expect too much around here when dining for western options I’ve found. Best of three pizzas I’ve tried in Buriram. Meatlovers.

La Lom Bar and Restaurant

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Bar and Restaurant La Lom in Buriram is highly regarded as one of the top dining spots in the area. The Isaan soup is a standout, offering a deliciously spicy flavor without being overwhelming. The chicken fried rice is well-portioned and not greasy, making it a satisfying choice for two or even three diners. Additionally, the spicy pork balls are recommended for their great taste.
Just passing through the town, a one night stop over. This place claims to have the best steak in town, so I thought I'd try it out. A very warm welcome when we arrived (in the middle of a storm). We sat upstairs so we could enjoy the view. The steak was very good. Cooked just as I like it. The owner came to check everything was okay. Even though I was only visiting I was treated like a local. Lovely place.
Robert P — Google review
Consistent good quality. Warm atmosphere. Nice, efficient staff. Very fair prices.
M. B — Google review
For me this is def in top 3 restaurants in Buriram. If not top. Isaan soup is very tasty and the spice level is spicy but not crazy for me. Good chicken fried rice, not oily and medium size portion is good for two people, even three if you’re not a big eater. Spicy pork balls also very good. Service from the younger lady couldnt ask for more. I come here everytime I’m in Buriram. The only one critique would be perhaps the soup would have a bit more meat.
Chris — Google review
Took the Mrs out for Valentines night and ordered the tenderloin steak and a bottle of the French rouge wine. Steak cooked medium rare and to absolute perfection. Lovely restaurant overlooking Klong La Lom lake. All the best St Patrick I’ll be back again for sure 🥩 🍷
Andrew F — Google review
The prices are too expensive for the quality. The chairs are heavy and uncomfortable. The toilets are okay.
Jörg N — Google review
Great food at great prices and a wonderful staff! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Adam W — Google review
Very nice restaurant in a very quiet area just in front the lake . Nice vibe and music . The menu is huge .
Federico F — Google review
La Lom, the best food in the city, combined with the friendliest owners and great view and ambiance. Every time I come here I am happy with my choices of food. If you want Thai, they have great Thai food with nice plating. If you want a steak, well, you'll get the best bang for your buck in Thailand here. The steaks here are awesome and at a surprisingly affordable price.

For me it's perfect, been living in Thailand for 8 years and eating at dozens of Italian restaurants in different areas, and this hidden gem is by far the MOST amazing! Can't believe I would enjoy a tuna pasta to the topmost! So is the spinach pizza ordered by my husband. The owner is the real champion among all those Italian restaurant chefs in Thailand for sure!

Grate place. Food is excellent - almost perfect. The owner worked alone, took orders, and made food from scratch. Food took a bit longer because of this reason, but it was definitely worth the wait. Might be a problem if he was busy. But we got lucky no one else ware there. So it felt like having a private chef. It's not my first time there, and it's definitely not the last. Highly recommended.

CRYSTAL CAFE'

Restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Buriram, look no further than Crystal Cafe. This charming spot has become a favorite for those seeking expertly prepared steak, particularly their tenderloin, which has garnered rave reviews from visitors who have struggled to find quality meat elsewhere in the area. The flavors and presentation of both Thai dishes and Western fare are exceptional, making it a must-visit for food lovers.
This is quite a lovely restaurant. My wife ordered salmon steak and me a sirloin steak. There were both delicious. The sirloin was one of the best I've had. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were just right. Unfortunately, the steak arrived just as my wife was finishing her salmon. The chef needs to synchronize the dishes so they arrive at the table at about the same time. Otherwise, just lovely.

I and my wife had a magnificent dinner tonight. We started with mushroom soup and pumpkin soup. Both WOW!! More than just delicious. We shared the lamb chops entrée. It was also very delicious. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and prompt. The chef and his staff prepared a great meal. Very talented.

(Translated by Google) I have been coming to Buriram regularly for 28 years now. Every year I am looking for a restaurant that is able to prepare and present a steak the way we know it from Europe. In all of Buriram, the meat is a complete disaster. Some of them call themselves “Steak House” but the meat is tough, sour, dry and not cured enough, unless you buy it at Top’s and grill it yourself at home! It's almost unbelievable, but here at “The Crystal” I'm excited about my tenderloin steak for the first time. Juicy, tender, fine-fibered, slightly moist on the surface but not wet and neutral in scent. “Wow” great by Buriram standards. It feels like winning the jackpot in the lottery. Big praise “chapeau” for the chef and the entire kitchen team. You made me happy for a whole evening. Thank you, I'll keep coming back and keep it up! Saftig, zart, feinfaserig, an der Oberfläche leicht feucht aber nicht nass und im Duft neutral. „Wow“ für Buriram-Verhältnisse grossartig. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Jackpot in der Lotterie. I was very impressed here. Plus there was a cake that was better than expected. I really liked it. The food was not expensive. If compared to the quality and atmosphere of the school, the important thing is that there is no service even though the service is very good. If you want to know, you have to try it. Guests rave about the friendly service provided by attentive staff who ensure every visit is enjoyable.
Very good service. Music not intrusive. Second band was setting up as we were leaving. Lots of seats. Food was good and the chicken fried rice I really liked. Often it is very oily and this one wasn’t covered in oil which I really like. Will be back. Soup was delicious also.

Food is really Thai authentic taste. Todman, Pla chin with sour soup and yum kana are all good taste.
Silawat B — Google review
Very nice restaurant with spacious seating; from river view to inside pond view and of course live music. Food was good and authentic, easy to follow menu price is reasonable for a nice setting place. My only complaint was the drink, we wanted freshly squeezed and we did ask via our translator and we were assured it was fresh. When the orange juice was served it was from a carton.

Delicious restaurant. We went there because of the google reviews and we’re not disappointed. Lovely restaurant with very good Thai and Isan Style food. We visited 2 times during our 3 days stay and were sad we didn’t go on the 3rd day as well. We had dried fish ga pho pla and drunkart chicken the first night and Isan style soup with chicken (very spicy) and 3 flavours fish the second time. All dishes delicious. Would definitely go again.

Buri Ram Airport

Airport
Buri Ram Airport is a small but well-maintained airport with only two gates, serving flights from Nok Air and Air Asia. The departure hall is on the left side while the arrival hall is on the right. There's only one Black Canon restaurant and a few shops catering to both arriving and departing passengers. The airport doesn't have a bridge connecting to the aircraft, so passengers walk directly to their planes without needing shuttle buses.
Quick plane exit and quick airport clearance

Well maintained airport, bit small one, but can see new terminal work progressing rapidly. Beautiful surroundings area with fully green farming n trees.. Best way to reach from Bangkok to buriram, surin n nearby district. One of the best thing is noticed, there s shuttle service of airasia vehicle from surin to buriram airport, which is safe n economical too.. also crew will wait for this vehicle to reach before closing check in.. that's really convenient.

A new terminal is almost finished. By then, the airport should be a complete international airport. There is no lounge or anything at the moment.

New but not a convenient airport. When you land here, you really need to have a plan how to get in the city. The airport have only one belt of luggage and only few flights available. The facilities are new and staff are lovely. However, if you rent the car, there are no gas station nearby(but I see the construction that might be future gas station)

A small airport with only 2 gates. Departure hall on the left side and arrival hall on the right side. Only one Black Canon restaurant and other shops serving both arrival and departure passenges. There isn't any bridge connecting to the aircraft. The plane just park outside and you just walk to the plane and climb up. Don't need any shuttle bus. Seem like only serve by Nok Air and Air Asia. The airport is old but well maintained.

A clean and pleasant small airport with a very limited amount of shops. Not a lot of movement, so this translates in a very easy going airport.

airport in Buriram. it's a small airport and the locati is quite far from city, but they have van from airport to city about 80 baht. this airport has shuttle to another provinces as well such us surin or maharasak. only has 2 airplanes, airasia and nok air

Small, efficient airport quite far away from Buriram city in the north. Currently expanding its apron facilities quite a lot, it serves 5 flights to Bangkok daily. Two with Air Asia and one with Nok Air. Very fast - from departure hall to aircraft in under 3 minutes ;-)

Nakhon Ratchasima Airport

Airport
The area around Khorat was already an important centre in the times of the Khmer empire in the 11th century, as can be seen by the temple ruins in Phimai historical park. Nakhon Ratchasima Province is one of the provinces where there is still a sizable northern Khmer population.[3] A new walled-city with a surrounding moat, designated as Nakhon Ratchasima, was built in the 17th century by order of the King Narai, as the easternmost "command post", guarding the kingdom's border. It continued this duty during the Bangkok Period, although it was briefly seized during Chao Anuwong of Vientiane's 1826 revolt against King Rama III of Siam. Nakhon Ratchasima has long been the most important political and economic centre in the northeastern region. In the late-19th century, the railroad reached Khorat and it became the junction of two main rail lines in the northeastern, Isan, region. In 1933 it was the stronghold of the royalist troops in the Boworadet Rebellion, as they fought against the new ostensibly democratic government in Bangkok. In the 1950s, the Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base was built in Nakhon Ratchasima; from 1961 until 26 February 1976, this facility was also used as a base by the United States Air Force.

Airport 🛩✈️ is closed. Only security, cleaners, gardeners and a couple of administration staff there. About 4 single prop small aircraft there but nothing else. I was allowed to wander around and take a few pics but that's about all you can do.

Nakhon Ratchasima airport is in Amphoe Chaloem Phra Kiat, approximately 26 kilometers east of the beautiful city of Nakhon Ratchasima.

A sleepy airport. No wonder a Malaysian movie 'Adnan Sempit Sawadikap' was filmed here.

Now there is no commercial flight to anywhere. Updated : 5/3/2019
