Ancient Ruins
Anfiteatro Flavio Neroniano is a remarkable Roman amphitheater dating back to the 1st century AD, capable of accommodating 40,000 spectators. Its underground area is exceptionally well-preserved and offers an immersive experience into the past. The arena features a unique 43-meter hole in the floor that was used for raising and lowering stage sceneries during performances.
Forget the Colosseum - this Amphitheatre is marginally smaller (it's the 3rd largest of the empire) and is in an excellent state of preservation. There's extensive restoration works going on at the moment however by next season they should be complete. The access to the underground structures gives an excellent understanding of how this building worked and the engineering genius that went into building them. Best of all - no crowds!!!
Phillip M — Google review
One of Naples under stated and magnificent roman ruins, but very much worthy of a visit.
Nigel P — Google review
We came a mid of Oct. The underneath part was closed, with everything we were so excited to see. The internal galleries of the upper part and the museum were closed as well - due to security precautions as we were told. No data on Google Maps or anywhere on this. With the ticket price staying the full and a redicilous price for nearby parkings was not worth it. So take a step ahead before you go there, try to figure out what will be available. when you come.
Iulia M — Google review
Uniqe underground museum. Much better than the colosseum and less crowded.
Victoria A — Google review
I was walking randomly across Pozzuoli and, accidentally, came across this glorious amphitheatre surrounded by modern buildings. So I went in to visit it and got absolutely staggered
Daniele M — Google review
One of the greatest Amphitheatres, but with so many competing ancient Roman sights in the area it doesn't seem to get the number of visitors it deserves. That's your gain if you visit. On the surface the gladiatorial arena is well preserved, but it's underground that this amphitheatre really shines. Unusually you can visit the underground rooms and tunnels where they would have held the wild animals that would be lifted up into the arena, along with complex environmental stages, and of course where the gladiators prepared to fight and die. Watch the fight scenes in the movie Gladiator to get an idea of just how complex and dramatic these events would have been, and then wander through and up into the arena imagining how it must have been. It was free the day we visited because it was the first Sunday of the month, but even then there was only a handful of people there with us.
Tim P — Google review
This site is currently being worked on and entrance is limited to the center of the amphitheater. You can't access the underground area, surrounding grounds, or seats. Entrance was free the day I was there. In spite of the limitations, it is an amazing experience to stand in an amphitheater. It is close to the metro station, perhaps 300m. Would definitely recommend seeing it if you are in the area.
Rico S — Google review
An incredible journey into the past by walking in the footsteps of gladiators. The arena itself is well preserved and it features perhaps the most well-preserved underground area of any of the remaining arenas. Also unique is the 43-meter hole in the arena floor that would have been used to raise and lower stage sceneries during performances. If this arena were located in Rome, it would be swamped with visitors. But because it's in Pozzuoli, I nearly had the place to myself. A true "pinch me" moment. Note that the upper arena itself is not currently open to the public as of 4 Jan23. But it's still well worth the five euro admissions.

The Phlegraean Fields, also known as Campi Flegrei, is a vast area near Naples that encompasses active volcanoes, a steaming caldera, vineyards, and Roman ruins. This region includes various places with unique attractions such as museums, parks, and natural phenomena. The western districts of Naples and nearby islands like Ischia and Procida are part of this volcanic area.
It is closed, but there is a viewpoint from where you can see the solfatara. So it is free. You can smell the solfatara as soon as you exit the metro. You will need 15 minutes walk from the metro.
Milica R — Google review
Solfatara was still closed even i dont know how you can close a volcano 🤔. But if you keep walking the road up to the hill few hundred meters you can see the crater from there. And you can smell the volcanic activity too.
Timo O — Google review
closed but still stunning from afar. drive up to hotel gli dei, but park at parcheggio sulfatara.
Hannah — Google review
Please don’t visit at this time even because you are curious because the town cannot accommodate trying to evacuate you along with 600’000 inside the crater and poss 6’000’000 outside it!
Annabelle C — Google review
Totally closed, watch only from fence with limited visibility. Great disappointment. We came by foot up the hill, only to find those signs. No infrastructure at all. Why are those fields even advertised. More like a tourist scam.
Falk L — Google review
We arrived not knowing that this was permanently closed due to some kid that thought it was a good idea to run off on his own, resulting in the parents chasing after him and them dying.. ruining it for everyone else. We were able to drive by and see it which was still nice. If you're in the area and want to drive by otherwise don't go out of your way since it is closed.
Jaclyn M — Google review
The Campi Flegrei is a large volcanic caldera west of Naples. It is characterized by bradyseism, causing ground level changes, famously visible at the Roman Macellum in Pozzuoli. This area hosted ancient Greek settlements like Cumae and features mythological sites like Lake Averno.
Carol A — Google review
Lost one star for being on eruption alert and therefore largely closed. Would have been a better experience if in future there could be less volcanic activity and more access to the volcano.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. You can get a impressive view of the site if you approach from the direction of the train station. It's wonderfully located with the sea as a background. Unfortunately you can't enter the site.

If your around the area great place to visit, was a market with a possible temple at it's centre. Interesting story due to seismic activity in the area
Luke C — Google review
I had a free afternoon and was looking for an archeological site near the water... This fit the bill! I wasn't able to go inside for a tour but it was still really cool to see and walk around the area. Also if note, there are a few paid parking spots nearby but not a lot so I imagine it's tricky to park in the busy season.

Its an ancient Roman Temple which host the signs when it was submerged in the sea. Because of the deformation related to volcanic activities and tectonics its now above the sea level. Interesting to visit and see you can clearly sea the part which was once submerged in the sea water.

Beautiful .... the history of our city is so great ...... It was the ancient public Macellum in the Flavian age. It is so called because during the excavations of 1750 a statue of the Egyptian god Serapis was found. It was the thermometer for the bradyseism of Pozzuoli, in fact on the columns of the temple there are signs related to the raising and lowering of the sea level over the centuries.

Monte Nuovo volcano Nature Park is a beautiful destination for a family walk near Pozzuoli, offering stunning views of the Bay of Naples. The short hike along the crater rim provides an impressive glimpse into one of the most active volcanic sites in the world. The park features well-maintained hiking paths and viewpoints, making it ideal for exploring Mediterranean flora and fauna.
Great place to explore. The short hike along the crater rim gives a great impression of one of most active vulcanological sites in the world. The hiking path is well maintained and there are some good viewpoints (definitely no Flipflops, carry some water). The whole park is really clean and there is a water fountain at the entrance. Also a good place to learn about mediterranen Flora and Fauna…. Just bring a guide book or use an app. This place is a hidden gem!

A great place for a hike with family or friends. Has breathtaking views, walking uphills might be challenging for someone who is new to such activities; there's a tap with fresh water around the entrance and a bathroom too. A couple of benches, and tables for picnic downhills.

I went up the mountain by foot. There was a hole of a volcano up. I took many photos. It was a nice walk there despite my being exhausted after a 6 hour trip by train from Ferrara to Napoli.
Mariam Ț — Google review
Very nice little hiking place, toilets and tap water in the entrance. It’s super super hot in summer so be ready, not so much shade here. If you walk long enough u can reach a lake which you prolly can’t take a swim in so don’t count on that, but it’s full of animals and plants.

Beautiful spot. Difficult to find, and one attendant is a grouch. Stairs to mountain path always closed unless you look fit and proper, and ask very nicely.

The couple visited Ristorante Scapricciatiello and were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite variety of antipasti, consisting of 11 delectable small plates. They found the price of 20 dollars per person to be quite reasonable for such a delightful culinary experience. Additionally, they thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly grilled and tender bacon-wrapped shrimp, as well as the impeccably fried fish that had just the right amount of salt.
My husband and I shared the selection of antipasti and were pleasantly surprised by 11 delicious small plates. Quite a deal for €20 each person we both thought. Not shown are a tomato bruschetta each. The shrimp wrapped with bacon was perfectly grilled and tender. Fried fish was perfect. He had a light touch with salt which was welcome. we really enjoyed every dish and the friendly service too. The recommended white wine was good and inexpensive.

Amazing place, amazing food, amazing people. Thank you !
Krzysiek P — Google review
They know how to cook. For every dish I got every single one had the proper texture. The polpette was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The stuffed zucchini flowers was fried nicely without burning the flower. The cuttlefish with eggplant was soft. The ravioli calamaro pistachio pesto was also good. It would have been 5 stars for me but their expertise in cooking food wasn’t enough and that’s because of volume. The polpette would have been perfect for me if it had enough sauce, the flavor was there but by the time I finished the 3rd out of 5 pieces I was budgeting the remainder sauce. Same thing with the cuttlefish with eggplant, the texture was there, but the balsamic was not enough to make a difference. A little bit of salt would help too. The dish would have been perfect if it just had more flavor. I think they were going for simplicity but it was too simple. I would come back and try their other dishes but if I get the same ones I would probably request more sauce. On the other hand, there was too much pistachio on top of the ravioli. I wish there were more of the sauce than the solid pieces of pistachio. The amount of calamaro and doneness of the ravioli was the right amount for me though. Overall, the price is a bit higher probably due to the location. It is nice to eat in a pretty park in front of protected ruins. They were busy on a Tuesday night which shows they have a reputation for being a good restaurant. Too busy in my opinion to take 15min to get the bill. Perhaps they need more servers since the 2 very kind ladies were always running around serving people to their best ability. Although, special thank you to the wonderful lady who set up a table for me when there weren’t any available.

Great place for sushi & Japanese cuisine - we tried four special sushi rolls, tempura, gyoza, cocktail and desserts. After various unsuccessful attempts to find tasty japanese cuisine in Campania region we were lucky to find this place! Fresh ingredients, attention to details, tasty, very pleasant service & thematic interiors. We'll be definitely back to try other menu items & wine.

Umami was overpriced for both sushi and wines. I ordered an Asahi and it tasted like it spent too much time in transit. It had a skunky taste to it. The place itself was beautiful and the staff was very nice. They have some interesting items on the menu that stand out. I'm sure this place will improve over time. I would give them 3 and a half stars.

A great upscale Italian restaurant I found unexpectedly! If you loved pre-fixed menu offerings, give this place a try! All dishes were well crafted and presented in appealing ways. The server explained all the dishes and was very attentive! This is by far my favorite restaurant in Naples!

The best place in town to enjoy a night out and to treat yourself to creative delicious food. The place is perfect for a food experience with your friends, your family or a date. The owners are three young, talented and creative chefs, who made us feel at home and surprised us with many delicious and beautiful looking plates. I highly recommend the shared appetizers/ antipasti. Loved it! Keep up the great food and the great vibe!

I made a reservation online but it wasn’t necessary. Came for dinner at 1900 on a Sunday - still enough light (early Sept) for viewing the bay most of dinner. Service was prompt and polite. We sat outdoors on their lovely patio and had the nice water view from our table. We skipped antipasti in favor of primi and secondi. Our pastas were delicious! And we loved our seafood main dishes. We shared the millefoglie which was a perfect dessert. Easy parking on street (hourly paid) and they have their own lot, which looks like it might be shared with the neighboring apartments. All in all we really enjoyed our quiet and delicious dinner.

Our dinner at the Tribus Resturant was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and able to explain the food recipes in english. It was the best taste experience I have had in a long time. The tapas starters varied across the spectrum of fish fruit and own cooked breads. Beautiful tastes of tuna salmon and squid marinaded in lemon, apple and others fruits bringing out the natural flavors of each to a unique combination that is hard to describe. This left us ready for the main course of pastas. The choice of own cooked pastas is wide but we chose the linguine with a shell fish sauce that was gorgeous. We asked for one plate of pasta between the two of us to leave just enough room to enjoy the unique range of sweats. We chose the white chocolate tart which was a beautiful balance of white chocolate taste with the lightness of a mousse topped with a snow like topping (not icing sugar not meringue and not cream) which lifted the taste to heaven. We were well served by Dennis who was interested in the food and keen to help us understand what we were eating, how it was cooked and the designed intension of each dish. His enthusiasm matched the high quality of this taste experience. Of course food like this is not cheap, but it is good value and we thought worth every penny.  Thank you Tribus.

ENG: please don’t waste your time going to this place. The food is average (you are in Naples, 99% of the restaurants are great) but the service is utterly terrible. Constantly taking the plates with half of the food away while we were still eating it. Still doing it even after telling them gently more and more times that we were still eating. They basically rushed us out for the antipasti and then made us wait 1 hour for a risotto. Prices are also quite ridicolous: €60 for 6 TASTE bites and €32 for 4 sorbets. Come on. ITA: non sprecate il vostro tempo. Il cibo è mediocre e i prezzi ridicoli. Il servizio tremendo: se il cliente sta ancora mangiando, non dovreste portare via le portate con ancora metà del cibo dentro.

I tried to have a quiet and quick bite after at the beautiful terrace. Only to be greeted upon entry in a very unfriendly manner by the hostess, that for people by themselves there was no space outside. I get that they want to reserve those plentiful empty tables for two for couples. But to stow me away in a cornee in an empty indoor dining room is beyond disrespectful. The view was beautiful, I'm sure the food is delicious, but the hostess receives 1 star. After regrouping my thoughts I left before ordering. I would have brought my family and friends too some other night, but she ruined it completely. The wait staff at Pizza Lucrino was happy to see me, and I'm glad I spent my money there.

Cuma Archaeological Park is a historical gem that showcases the grandeur of the past, featuring the acropolis built by Ancient Greeks in the 8th century BC. Visitors can immerse themselves in local culture by experiencing events and festivals in Bacoli. The park offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and plenty of space for outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for families. Additionally, excursions in the surrounding area provide opportunities for adventure and direct contact with nature.
We used public transport. Which dropped us off at the foot of the sight. Entrance was 5 euro. Pleasantly surprised at what you and get to experience. Not many people when went. Took our time exploring and enjoying the views. Must see in Naples.

Entrance to the park allows you access to the Cave of the Cumean Sibyl and Augustan age ruins of Temple of Apollo and Temple of Jupiter. Discounted prices for children and with the Arte card.

Another impressive site that covers a lot of ground. It’s lovely to walk around this ancient settlement under trees overlooking the bay of Naples. Unfortunately, the explanation boards are already quite damaged so not all information can be read. Due to the larger sites around Naples there are not many visitors coming to this particular site which makes for a rather relaxed visit. The acropolis is particularly interesting to the tunnels in the rock and to its background as the first Greek colonial settlement in this part of the ancient world.

What a spectacular Greek ruins site. It is filled with wonderful pieces of a not well-known part of the history to many. There are lots of new discoveries happening right now. Very interesting. This was my 4th visit. There's always something "new"...fascinating. Oracle Sybilla is like nothing I've seen before 👌

Very interesting place with amazing views to the sea. The caves are unique aswell. Parking might be difficult due to limited amount of space.

You should approach this site as a pleasant and scenic park worthy of a peacefull stroll amongst the oaks, olives and ruins on a hill with great views of the coast out toward Ischia. Signage is just ok. The ruins are too desicated to be of more than marginal interest. Definitely worth a couple hours, and Sibyll's cave was cool.
Thor A — Google review
Awesome place to take the family. Not stroller friendly and there are a few steep parts for the kids but overall worth doing. Definitely worth a day trip to explore the whole site. Don’t forget to stop and get some ice cream at the end. Lastly, there is plenty of parking, but I would just park wherever you can find it. The road is narrow at the parking close to the entrance so it gets really congested. Save yourself the time and just park a little further away.

Beautiful site to visit with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean! Plenty of space for the kids to run around, plenty to explore and read about. A great way to combine a history lesson and an outdoor activity for the family. We especially loved the different atmospheres in each area of the site, the kids never got bored!

Ancient Ruins
Antro della Sibilla is an archaeological site comprising of an underground chamber and gallery that was supposedly occupied by an ancient priestess and oracle known as Sibyl. The area offers picturesque views of the sea, making it a great spot for a picnic lunch with your furry friend. The remarkable architecture dates back to between 5BC and 9BC and has been well preserved. Unfortunately, some areas remain fenced off, denying visitors access to potentially fascinating sections.
It a wonderful area to take a picnic lunch...and they allow you to bring your dog...it has very nice views of the sea...and amazing architecture from 5BC TO 9BC...

Discovered accidentally in 1932, the mysterious trapezoidal galleries are believed to be the setting of Virgil’s legend of Aeneid (book 6). There is another cave of the Sibyl in Pozzuoli (coincidentally near another temple of Apollo) but this location is an actual tourist site whereas the other is not open for tours. Close proximity of two sites may be due to the popularity of the cult of Apollo, which is said to have declined after publication of Petronius’ “Satyricon” in the second century after the main character, Trimalchio, saw Sibyl’s remains dangling in a jar which was strung to the ceiling of the cave. During classical times, being an ancient oracle provided a profitable living. The Cumean Sibyl was one of the most respected oracles. This site is similar to Delphi. Once you enter the cave, the air becomes cooler and damp. Follow the path to the end of the cave where the two benches sit. This is believed to be the location of sacred tripod that the Sibyls would lean over to inhale the fumes while chewing laurel leaves before entering a trance state and spewing prophecies. Roman King Taquin visited the Cumean Sibyl to buy nine of her books of prophecy. Arguments ensued over price. Sibyl threw 3 into the fire and told Tarquin he could have the remaining 6 for the same price. Tarquin protested. Sibyl threw 3 more books onto the fire. Tarquin walked away with the remaining three Sibylline Books for the original price and used the books to guide Rome until they were destroyed in the fire of 82 B.C. From the Cave of the Cumean Sibyl, one can follow the trails around the park and see the remains of the Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Jupiter. Both are believed to be from the age of Augustan. Recommended time allotted to the park: 2-3 hours minimum. 4-5 hours if you read book 6 of Virgil’s Aeneid to your companions while you tour.

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to, and no one has ever heard of it. Brush up on your Greek mythology and get a guidebook before you go — there’s not a lot of information there. There’s a site there where Daedalus created a temple to Apollo after Icarus fell into the sea — it feels a little surreal know that’s a real place —- whether the story is real or not, I had no idea that there was actual place that Daedalus was supposed to have landed after escaping King Minos. Look up the Sibylline prophecies, too, before you come. And bring a bottle of water and sunblock.

The Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia is a protected marine area that has been home to the remains of an ancient Roman city since 2002. It offers diving and boat tours for those seeking an extraordinary experience. The park houses underwater archaeological finds, including the nymphaeum of Punta Epitaffio and statues dating back to the time of Emperor Claudius.
It was a unique and interesting experience. We got to see the archaeological underwater park and swim among fish. A perfect mix of history and adventure 👍☺️ highly recommended!

Great experience however low visibility on the day we went Aug 10th. You do see ruins. The Roman floors are the best thing to see. This dive shop is difficult to locate as it is at a resort on the beach side of the railroad so you have to walk through the pedestrian tunnel to get there. Park in the parking lot for the beach goers North of it and walk back.

Lost for more than seventeen centuries under the blue waters of the western coast of Italy, the sunken city of Caesar, Baiae, was frequently visited by famous Roman Caesars such as Julius Caesar, Nero and Hadrian, who died there during its heyday. The villas that emerged or were still submerged, temples showed the wealth of this region and for centuries it was considered one of the most important Roman cities. Pliny the Younger lived here, and from here, across the bay, it remained the sunken ancient city after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD that destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum. It was discovered 1700 years later.

Nestled in the Campania region of southern Italy, Lake Avernus is a stunning volcanic crater lake that offers visitors a serene escape into nature. Surrounded by picturesque trails perfect for walking and biking, this enchanting spot is not only rich in natural beauty but also steeped in history. The area boasts fascinating archaeological sites like the Cave of the Sibyl and remnants of ancient structures such as the Temple of Serapis and the Roman Apollo Temple.
A Fascinating Glimpse into Myth and History Lake Avernus is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, mythology, or just enjoying a beautiful natural setting. This crater lake, formed in a dormant volcano, was once believed to be the entrance to the underworld! What I loved: * The atmosphere: Even knowing the myths aren't true, there's a definite sense of mystery and ancient power here. It's incredibly peaceful and evocative. * Historical remnants: You can see ruins of temples and structures from the Roman era, adding another layer of interest. * Great for walking: The path around the lake is easy to follow and provides stunning views. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or a jog. * Nearby attractions: The Sibyl's Cave is a short distance away and worth exploring as well. Things to keep in mind: * Accessibility: While the main path is fairly level, some areas might be challenging for those with mobility issues. * Amenities: There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby, but it's not overly commercialized. * Seasonal changes: I visited in the spring and it was lovely, but I imagine it could get quite hot in summer. Overall, Lake Avernus is a unique and memorable place. It's a fascinating blend of natural beauty, history, and legend. Highly recommended!

Nice and peaceful walk around the lake. Plenty of birds, turtles and relaxed cats. There are the rests of the Romain Apoolo Temple. Really clean and enjoyable.
M S — Google review
Ancient Greeks called Lago d’Averno the mouth of hell because passing birds were suffocated by the fumes. The lake was turned into part of a naval base by Cornelius Agrippa after he cut a canal. Emperor Nero furthered this by building a canal lined with colonnades. Ruins surround the lake, including the Temple of Apollo which is currently being renovated and is covered with no trespassing tape and remains of a dome building which is suspected to have been as big as the Roman Pantheon. If you gaze into the water, you can visibly see steps going down and leading somewhere… There is nothing marked on the trail about whether excavations are being done of the water or the nearby dome and Sibylline cave. A walk around the lake is tranquil. There are many agro tourism places open for lunch on weekends with prices ranging from €30-40 per person. Birds, ducks and turtles are the most popular creatures here. It may be worthwhile for the government to look into what is killing all of the fish in the lake as the stench is awful and one can only walk a few feet without being Greeted by stinky, belly up, rotting fish who have drifted toward the shore.

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience. Place where relaxation is guaranteed. The pools are spotless, as is the entire facility, including showers and bathrooms. Furthermore, the water in the aforementioned has a very pleasant temperature. There is also the possibility of placing sunbeds on the lawn. Well-organised bar with tables, with the possibility of purchasing food on site at reasonable prices. Also nice is the opportunity to enjoy the drink directly in the pool, thanks to the seats immersed in the water. The beach area, although I didn't make use of it, still seems well organized. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, large internal car park, with shade cover. Value for money, in my opinion, really convenient. I would like to recommend this property to anyone, I will return as soon as possible. (Original) Ottima esperienza. Personale disponibilissimo e gentile, ampio parcheggio interno, con copertura all'ombra. Rapporto qualità-prezzo, a mio avviso, davvero conveniente. Nestled in the heart of Naples, Abraxas Osteria is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. As soon as you step inside, you're welcomed by the warm smiles of the professional staff and enveloped by delightful aromas wafting from the kitchen. The ambiance is nothing short of enchanting, with lush greenery surrounding open-air seating that offers stunning views over two picturesque lakes.
Exceptional dinner to remember. Great atmosphere, delightful food and up and beyond service! The dishes are prepared with the BEST quality ingredients and are the ones you will remember for a long time. We had problem to come back and got offered a drive to the train station this kind of hospitality happens only in the best places which Abraxas clearly is. Definitely will come back once back in Campagna)

What a beautiful restaurant! We were blown away by the location and attention to detail. The food is good traditional napolitan food but what makes this place so special is the terrace looking over the lake and the fact that they thought of every little detail with care. A great place for special occasions, would recommend to book in advance a table with the view.

Getting to Abraxis was an experience but once there our dining experience was top notch! Eating downstairs my wife and I were provided an intimate setting with our waitress patient with non-Italian speaking guests and treating us in a way we felt special. The food was incredible! My compliments to the chef! Abraxas provided us a fine dining experience we look forward to experiencing again in the future.

A gorgeous but expensive place. We didn’t have a reservation but we got a decent albeit sunny place to sit in the garden. Diligent wait staff but they were a bit lax getting to us (I assume since we didn’t have reservations). Pretty expensive… we had 2 appetisers, and shared a 1st and a 2nd course with a bottle of good red - it came up to 135€. Nevertheless, would recommend you give it a try.

Amazing. From start to finish. Sampler course of cheese, tartar, capacio..followed by lamb burger.. and topped with dessert sampler. Every choice was great. Beauty views, great jazz, will definitely return

During our holiday we visited Abraxas Osteria. When you are in the staying in Pozzuoli or Baia, you have to visit this outstanding restaurant. Especially when you love excellent well prepared meat. We ordered the menu and this was very delicious. The antipasti were a selection of different dishes. The pastas were great as well. After te pasta,we had a lovely medium rare steak, tagliata. We finished with a great desert and a coffee. Not only the food was delicious we very much liked the atmosphere and the very friendly and helpful people who served us. We strongly recommend this great restaurant. We surely will come back when we are in the area of Pozzuoli or Naples!

Perhaps the best restaurant I’ve had the pleasure to try in Naples yet! I found this on the Michelin guide and then checked it here on Google maps/reviews and decided to celebrate the 4th of July with my family here. The place is wonderful, perched on the ridge between two lakes with wonderful views in both directions! The atmosphere is very tropical especially with the lush vegetation, open air dining and island jazz music. The food was excellent! Beyond compare, particularly at these prices… very good value for money. Even the wine was fantastic at 5€ a glass. And that was for my favorite: aglianico del vulture from Basilicata, Wow! See the pictures… we tried the antipasto and they were a hit! The beat dish may have been my son’s pasta Genovese but all dishes were delicious! Then we tried a range of desserts from the 4 sample plate to the deconstructed lemon tart to my crunchy hazelnut semifreddo - all wonderfully prepared and tasty! We will certainly return!! Buon appetito!

Restaurant
La Fattoria del Campiglione is a charming restaurant located in a converted farmhouse, offering a down-to-earth dining experience with a terrace and wine cellar. The menu features delectable steaks, pasta, and an impressive array of appetizers. The ambiance exudes an amazing vibe and energy, making it one of the best overall experiences in Napoli. Professional and attentive servers, along with a knowledgeable sommelier, add to the exceptional dining atmosphere.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the comradery. Someone said it was one of the best steaks they have had in the area and I can't help but agree. The pasta genovese was delicious. Appetizers came in abundance. Everything appears to be from their fattoria. So delicious.

Delicious and to-die-for antipasti, Genovese, and ragù!! Amazing selection of wine! Was too full for a 2nd but will definitely go back. Excellent and attentive wait service. Highly recommend!

Great steaks, friendly staff, and lots of wine selections. Don't forget to make reservation. The kitchen don't open until 8 pm but you can arrive early for the wine.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Amazing vibe and energy. Probably the best overall experience in Napoli. Professional waiters. Ours spoke great English. Went with a party of 12. We had lamb stew appetizer and honestly it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Crazy long wine list. Random but a superb array of rums. Top of the list!

We had heard SO much about La Fattoria and were so excited to try it. My husband loves steak and we’d heard this was the best in Naples. Unfortunately, the steak did not live up to the reviews for us. It was good, but not the best. We were however very impressed with the appetizers! If we went again I think we’d just order those. We loved the lamb appetizer as well as the meatballs and the bean stew appetizer. Ambiance and drinks were great and our server was awesome, we just weren’t totally impressed with the steaks, which is what we went specifically for. For us, the steaks were under-seasoned and underwhelming. I had the peppercorn sauce on a filet but tasted the filet with the balsamic reduction sauce and preferred that one. My husband had the costata. We would return and would like to go in the summer to utilize the outdoor area, we just weren’t impressed with the steak 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I absolutely love this place... Mario and Pato are wonderful, attentive servers; and the sommelier, Roberto, has wine-psychic superpowers that can determine the perfect wine for you, if you are ever unsure. The meats are just amazing...full of flavour, succulent, cooked to perfection. You just have to go to believe me.
