Luna Park Frejus is a lively amusement park located in Frejus, offering a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages. From thrilling rides and carnival games to paintball and dining options, the park caters to both adrenaline seekers and families with young children. Situated near the Villa Aurelienne, the park provides ample parking facilities and is surrounded by a large park, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing picnic.
Nice park, with a lot of different attractions, for children as well for adults. We enjoyed it. The attraction cost is from 5 to 7€ for a ride per person, only the Skyrider is 30€ for a ride/person. I really liked the magic mountain rollercoaster. I bought several tickets. It was not crowded like in other amusement parks. we were there around 22.30. The food was really good, I ate a kebab. Car parking and entrance are free.

We. Old get on all the rides quickly and the kids loved it. Make sure you have the discount ride tickets from super markets or travel office. Around 5 euros a ride which isn’t crazy. Worth a visit for sure

This is ok bring plenty of cash. Lots of prize games to play and some good rides. The catapult and human pipeline is probably the highlight. Plenty of food stalls around if your looking for somewhere to eat. Some of the rides were not operating when we were there. Not sure why. My 7yr old twin boys enjoyed it

Adorable – negative reviews reflect people’s (may be skewed )perceptions of what a habitat should be. So, no the African animals did not have a sprawling savanna to gambol about in, but they seemed healthy and well fed enough. The little farm/petting zoo area replete with goats was a big hit for our disabled son and so many of the kids who seemed to be enjoying it so much. This was also small enough that you can have a nice time in a few hours not feeling terribly worn out. We opted for an annual membership!

This place is a lot bigger and nicer compared to what is was like 35 years ago. We went on a Sunday in August and there were lots of people. It was nice for me to see how much this place has evolved over the years (in a positive direction.)

It was a great place to visit. We ware there in the beginning of the evening and there is a big carpark. At 20:00 they open and have great security. We already ate but it was a pitty because the food they serve smelled amazing! Its a nice place to go, we and the kids had great fun!

Pretty good place, bit rough and ready and the bouncy castles are quite rough material to slide in and definitely give you a burn!!worst thing though is definitely the mosquitos, very bad here for some reason....still worth going to and the Finland for a tenner for smaller kids is good value

I visited Luna Park Fréjus last night with my family, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience — particularly at the caisse centrale where we purchased bracelets for the kids and tokens for the games. While the lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming to the customers before us, her behavior toward us was quite the opposite. She gave us a cold, disrespectful look and spoke in a very dismissive tone. It felt like we were being treated differently, possibly because of our ethnicity and the fact that we don’t speak French very well. What hurt us the most was hearing her mock us to another Luna Park staff member in the cashier after we had completed our purchase and walked away. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. We came to enjoy a fun family evening, but instead we left feeling judged and humiliated. I truly hope the park management takes this seriously — everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, no matter where they come from or what language they speak

The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was super friendly. As a group of 6 we really enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely come back again.
Elisabeth L — Google review
Absolutely amazing food. This restaurant is somewhat hidden away from the lights of the main strip but I can undoubtedly say it had the best food I’ve had in my week in France. The pork confit was spectacular and even the potatoes were amazing. Make sure you go hungry. I didn’t leave a crumb on my plate! My fiancé also had the apricot salad which came with a spall pastry that had the apricot in it on top of the salad and she absolutely loved. For desert we had the banana chocolate crumble which came out so nice and warm we couldn’t wait to eat it from its aroma. The chef really is a master of his craft, everything was spectacular. The waiter also spoke amazing English which always helps with us Canadians who can speak some but not a lot of French. Easily a 5 star rating and I wish we were in town for another night so I could go back to try something else!

We had a lovely day on this beach. The service was a bit slow e.g. adults food was served a long time before the kids meals, but Charlie worked super hard to make the day special and his service really made a difference.

Nice drink in this beach bar, right infront of the sea. Unfortunately waited over 30 minutes to receive a drink, after ordering at the bar myself. Sunbed users prioritised. Shame as the drink and location was great.
Anya F — Google review
We went there for sundowners and the drinks were good. We are sitting directly at the sea and the seats were very comfy. The service was great, especially Hugo is a very friendly guy.
Joe T — Google review
The view is fantastic. Service of the administrator was great, she offered us a better table. However the service of waiters was terrible, we didn’t feel any interest from their side. In addition, we were brought 2 plates of fruits which we didn’t order. When we explained we haven’t ordered the waiter took these away. Unfortunately, noticed only later that fruit plates were added to our bill (2x20€). Please be careful and check your bills.

Superbe. I can’t understand this average rating. The food was one of the best we have had here within 2 weeks (lamp, pulp) service was lovely. we've enjoyed the velvet parking with the e-car ride - feeling VIP 😉 And the scenery is one of the best in StRaphaël. Another plus - it is not overcrowded. Got a table without reservation on Wednesday.

Southwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the southwest side side of town. Start the day off with Le Lido, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Musée Louis de Funès. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Beach
Plage Veillat is a large, sandy shoreline in Saint Raphael, offering opportunities for swimming and sunbathing. It is well-equipped with cafes, showers, and toilets for visitors' convenience. This beach is renowned for its proximity to the city center and accessibility to various facilities. The sandy terrain allows you to stroll in the water comfortably.
Beautiful beach in center of St. Rafael. It's not to crowded and it's sandy which I personally prefer. Every 50 m you can buy something to drink in small shops at the shore. Very easy to approach and very clean to swim. Recommend.
Sonja P — Google review
Safe and clean beach with lifeguards on duty, but it would be nice if it had showers, changing rooms, proper toilets... All in all, nice place to chill and swim.
Emir A — Google review
One of the best beach in Saint Raphaël, close to city centre with all facilities. A lovely sandy beach where you can walk in water on sand. It’s always crowded so an early landing on beach will be good move to find your favourite place and stay all day there to enjoy swimming, sunbathing and even your family and friends picnic in evening as well. Pro Tip: Sunset is having an enchanting view so stay there during sunset and even after to catch some beautiful moments.
Travelling H — Google review
This is probably an underrated beach in this area. We are staying in St Raphaël and kept looking for other beaches around while one of the best was right in front of us. Water was clear, minimum waves, good for swimming and kids, lifeguards on-duty and most importantly if you are indeed staying in this little beautiful town as we are, you are within walking distance to one of the nicest ones in the area, no need to drive, no need to find parking (although if you are coming from somewhere else and driving, there is plenty of parking at the Bonaparte parking garage next to it). Also, restaurants and shops are a step away, and when you want a break from the sun and want something to eat or drink, pack, go, and repeat all day long. Pictures are from both a sunny and a cloudy day. I recommend you make a visit to this lovely town and nice adjacent beach!
Sergio H — Google review

Michael P — Google review
Great spot for anyone new to the city. Felt safe using this beach. The water was great even in September.
Stanislav N — Google review
Beautiful, clean beach, accessible to everyone. In september easily found place, as it was not that crowded. It's nice, city beach with fine sand .
Suz — Google review
Small (long and narrow) beach. Good for kids. The breakwater shields parts of the beach that is further away from the ferris wheel very well and is a big plus if you have smaller kids. The old town starts across the street with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. There are multiple parking lot structures at the beach (both free and paid). If you cannot find parking, consider going to one of the parking garages in the town.

Basilique Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire, constructed in 1885 from pink sandstone, was designed by architect Pierre Auble to accommodate the growing population. Influenced by Byzantine-Moorish style, the basilica features a dome reminiscent of Istanbul's St. Sophia and an image of the archangel Raphael at its front. Nice view. That’s it. Service was very slow. I’ve asked a snack plate for one person but they only serve for two. What’s fine. So I had just a few pieces of cheese and asked the rest of the plate to take away but they told me they can’t. Weird. That’s what left…

Fabulous balcony bar with comfortable seating and marvellous views over the marina and beyond. The casino itself is quite small with a large restaurant and small bar inside. Wanted to experience the casino. You know… « I’m on the French Riviera, (which conjures images in your mind), will go to the riviera casino (had the same issue with needing a passport to enter (valid identification, an European driving licence should be adequate) I don’t like to carry my passport out and about with me. Very nice lady on the bar, filled my empty water bottle for me. By then I’m inside, (couple of days later), and I wish to use les toilettes. Ugh 🤮 the toilets were filthy. There are 2 toilets available, one is supposed to be wheelchair accessible, that is not well enough equipped for anyone in a wheelchair. No lids on the toilets, no soap in the dispensers, all sorts of yeuch in the toilet bowl. So I didn’t feel inclined to use them. On the way out, I told the girl behind the desk, that they needed attention, but she « no speak any English » Very very disappointed I ended up going to McDonald’s

Wanted to enjoy an hour or so of the casino. Originally walked by and tried to go in and they mentioned about having ID - fair enough (I mean I am pushing 30, over 10 years above the legal age but I do understand) went back to our hotel to grab some ID. Went back with a valid UK driving license (aka the same ID that will get you into anywhere everywhere else in the world) for the rude bouncers to turn it away and state we had to have a passport? Sorry didn’t realise it was border control standards for an average at best casino.

A wonderful time remembering the great moments of De Funès carreer or discover it to learn more about this one of a kind french comic. While you can buy your ticket online, don't be afraid to buy it on site. At the moment there is a Chaplin/De Funès expo which provides a unique take on the link/inspiration that Chaplin had for De Funès. You can also buy a zero (0) euros bank note commemorating this unique museum. Please note they are printed from the same material and place that prints France legal Euro tenders! This will be a truly nice gift to remember Saint Raphael!

Restaurant
If you're on the hunt for authentic Moroccan cuisine in Saint-Raphael, look no further than La Menara! This charming family-run restaurant serves up a delightful array of traditional dishes, including various couscous and tagines that transport your taste buds straight to Morocco. The heartwarming atmosphere is reminiscent of home-cooked meals shared with friends, thanks to the mother’s skillful preparation of hearty and flavorful dishes.

Pub
The Hôtel Excelsior - Côte d'Azur is a relaxed oceanfront establishment with charming accommodations, a lively pub, and a restaurant boasting terrace seating. Visitors are drawn to its prime location and stunning views. While some guests enjoyed the food and service, others felt that it lacked the prestige typically associated with this renowned hotel. It may be due to the quieter September season. Although not recommended for special occasions, it offers an enjoyable experience overall.
Typical French hotel but all the better for that. Nice room ,spotless always . Staff are excellent from check in to bar staff . WiFi not great in our room but Grand elsewhere. Location fab on sea front close to everything. Bed very comfortable and no noise at night at all . Highly recommend ,thank you all for your hospitality Bernard. Ireland

A great location but not at the moment as it is surrounded by extensive roadworks and I mean extensive (oct-June)! You cannot drive there and finding it on foot is also extremely difficult. I was disappointed by this seemingly 4 star hotel as it really needs refurbishing and modernising. At the moment it’s neither traditional or modern. The bedrooms are small and what 4 star hotel has a bath with no shower curtain or bath towel ?! However the restaurant is very good and the staff are very nice. I was lucky because I stayed here on a very good groupon deal, but even so!!
David G — Google review
What a beautiful, and yet classic hotel. It could not be more ideally located as it is immediately across the street from the best beach in Saint Rafael. Our room was a bargain just over €100, and even though we weren’t supposed to have an ocean view, we did in fact have one if we went out on our little deck. You can see our room in the one photo with the little balcony. Everyone was very nice, and the breakfast for only €14 is an incredible buffet for the price. There is a brasserie and a pub, so something for everyone. The only negative, which is not at all the hotel‘s fault is a beautiful church that is adjacent the hotel rings its bells every morning starting at 7 AM. And for some reason both mornings we were here it sounds as though they let a child get a hold of the bells as they were ringing them about 32 times at a random time around 7:52 AM so I would suggest bringing earplugs or at least be mentally prepared, if you wanted to sleep in a little, this will likely interrupt your sleep. Overall, it is very clean, very nice, and an incredible bargain, and comparison to other hotels with similar amenities. Oh yes, they will give you free beach towels, which were very nice and plush!
Jeremy B — Google review
Great location. Very friendly receptionist. Excellent diner with very big portions.

We spent a very enjoyable Bastille day here yesterday. The cooking is solid rather than exceptional but the service is good. The price is reasonable and the location phenomenal.
David S — Google review
We called into the Hotel Excelsior for lunch as it's not that far from the train station we needed to go to. We sat outside on their large veranda which was great for watching the world go by. We ordered their plate of the day which was rump steak with baby roasted potatoes and a pepper sauce. Very tasty dish and a good price for under $18, steak was well cooked. Service was a little slow but friendly. Overall we would definitely recommend here for a lunch or drink if your in the area.
Joanne P — Google review
We stayed with them recently. Been going through a lot lately, and needed a break. However, booked two instead of one room, by mistake. The hotel staff, the two ladies working in the reception, were stars: professional, empathatic and importantly problem solvers. Managed to sell the other room, and we avoided the double charge. There were world class and professionals, loved it, especially when we were at our lowest. Big hugs

The restaurant Tortù Plage offers a scenic, tranquil setting with plenty of outdoor seating and an ocean view. This is a great spot for a romantic dinner or for catching up with friends after work.

Nice drink in this beach bar, right infront of the sea. Unfortunately waited over 30 minutes to receive a drink, after ordering at the bar myself. Sunbed users prioritised. Shame as the drink and location was great.

very nice beach bar, it wasn't overcrowded… Everything was perfect. Lounge area is very comfortable.

We had a lovely day on this beach. The service was a bit slow e.g. adults food was served a long time before the kids meals, but Charlie worked super hard to make the day special and his service really made a difference.

During the summer, visitors can enjoy live music while indulging in delicious food and drinks. The restaurant provides an intimate setting with half of its tables placed directly on the sand. Delicious and fresh food and generous portions, superb service, and amazing location. This place deserves really five stars. We are lucky to have found it.

We had dinner @ Tiki Plage in late August. I had the best steak so far on my trip to French Riviera! Additionally this restaurant has awesome views of the beach, as half the tables are on the sand.

I loved the beach, the restaurant food was ok not bad, so i was wearing my teva sandals and was going to the restaurant from the beach, after i finished eating i went to use the toilet inside the restaurant, so coming out from the toilet i noticed that the waiters were commenting about some sand on the floor and i admitted that it was from my sandals and apologized sorry and they weren’t happy from the way they replied, they were sarcastic they just repeated what i said ahhh sorry sorry, i mean Ive went to beaches in spain and they put a bucket of water with a big spoon to wash our feet before entering, what do you expect my sandals to be after walking and coming from the beach!

Plage de La Baumette is a stunning beach with amazing views of the bay. It's less crowded and easily accessible, making it perfect for a day of sunbathing and relaxation. The crystal-clear calm waters are great for swimming, and you can take long walks along the sandy shore. Families will appreciate the gentle swimming conditions, although the sand is more gravelly than fine. Despite being a quiet family beach, it offers water sports facilities and a snack bar right on the beach.
Beautiful very sunny little bay away from the crowds.

An amazing beach with stunning views of bay , less crowded and easy access where you can swim in very calm crystal water and even walk long inside sandy beach water! Perfect to spend a day, enjoying sunbathing and relaxing your mood. A snacks bar on beach, water sports facilities and bus stop is not far and super market is plus point as well. Pro Tip: After this beautiful beach you can walk further on costal track and then walking on roadside ( be careful for traffic) and you will see a beautiful calanque less crowded but withy big rocks views.

Wow. You have to go here - great spot, great food (fish), great atmosphere and wonderful service. In an area a bit lacking in “passion” for serving well and cooking with care, this was a treat of a discovery. Not only did we have a good meal but the owner suggested we book a local taxi on the way back to our hotel (the 10 min trip there from our hotel had cost €30); when none were available he drove us back himself and wouldn’t take a penny (or Euro). Well fed, well looked after and expectations exceeded on every level. Renewed our faith in humankind - thank you!

Excellent dining on the beach. Reservation absolutely necessary as the place is packed all the time. Even if like myself you enjoy fish less than a good piece of meat, the Angus beef is absolutely delicious. Parking is relatively a disaster as there is no parking lot and most people parking next to the road apparently feel it necessary to take up two spots, but you will need some excersise afterwards anyway and it is well worth it!

Lovely atmosphere on the beach, that is the main selling point of this restaurant. However if this was not enough to convince you, the restaurant has wonderful sea food but do not go to the restaurant for steaks and non sea food.

Pizza restaurant
Babbo, a traditional pizzeria located next to a hotel, is a bustling restaurant with an amiable staff. Offering reasonably priced dishes and open late into the night, it is known for its great pizza. The Babbo Pizza, in particular, is delightful and highly recommended. This lovely Italian establishment exudes an authentic ambiance while providing superb service. With its thin dough pizzas and tasty offerings, it attracts customers with its friendly and efficient staff.
Super good Pizza - especially the House Pizza „Babbo“ - excellent. I also tried some other dishes like lasagna or duck breast - but I decided for myself - when I am at Babbo I will eat their pizza. Tonight is Karaoke btw. - fun. My only wish - the last 2 times I asked for an extra portion of onions on my pizza - both times I just get like a very few. Please make this experience perfect next time and give me my extra onion 😋

Delicious.. very authentic place with friendly service and good pizzas cooked in a wood 🪵 stove. I would recommend the ones called “Pizza du moment” with seasonal ingredients but their pizza with truffles is super good 👍 FYI they are really a dog friendly place 🐶

Enjoying a holiday out of season. Not many places open in Le Dramont, but Babbo had us covered. Delicious food, had the four season Pizza and the pesto ravioli to share between me and my partner (vegetarians). All the staff were lovely, the in-house pooch was a hit with my girl and the owner came out with some complimentary shots at the end. Prices as you would expect to pay. Bathroom wall art, debatable ha. Support this business.

My husband and I went here and had the best experience! The owner is kind and welcoming. We had a delicious burger, salad, and calzone (plus some wine and beer). Babbo in Le Dramont offers decent Italian food, but the service is dreadful. Our waiter was so distracted he missed an order, got one wrong, and we were charged for a more expensive dish we didn’t order. There was no apology from the staff, including the owner, who seemed indifferent. Good food, but the poor service and overcharging left a bad taste.

Le Charivari is a french restaurant located in Agay, with a panoramic view of the sea and the red rocks of the Esterel. The food is fresh and tasty, with seafood options as well as lava cake which is definitely a must-try! Friendly service makes this an ideal place to enjoy a meal or drinks with friends.

this place is average at best, really overpriced! half a liter of water 4,5€ , the grilled fish platter was two small (half) fishes, tuna tataki was cold, even the molten chocolate cake was cold with no liquid chocolate core. It was essentially the only choice available as no other restaurant was open in town. Staff was nice at least but I wouldn’t recommend this place nor get back.

We stayed at an Airbnb in Agay and ventured into town for dinner. Between the six of us, we ordered the calamari, goat cheese salad, fish stew, prawn linguini, lobster linguini, two fishes of the day and the grilled fish platter. The calamari was delicious, some of the best calamari. The prawn and lobster linguini was also very good, as were the two fish of the day. The grilled seafood platter was okay. We finished the meal of with some delicious crème brûlée. Probably one of the best crème brûlée I’ve had in France.
Connie L — Google review
I have already been here for 2 years ago and the food was exceptionell so I hoped to eat the same dishes. But they have completely changed the menu so the great fish dishes and linguines with sea food are now not the same and swim in the spicy sauces. I could not eat my linguines and have stomach pain. So be aware - the menu is not as it used to be. The view is very nice on the peacefull bay.

Limited menu but we had the steak & lamb. Both were delicious & well presented. Obviously an excellent chef . Friendly welcome & English spoken too. Sadly Place is a bit dated , could do with a refurb .

Called last minute and was able to get 5 people in. Service was outstanding. My bouillabaise was one of the best. Food was great and the prices were so reasonable. The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone there was so well taken care of! Loved the fact that I could have a miniature of the deserts with a cup of coffee. Un grand merci!!!

Fun City is a popular destination for families with children, offering a variety of activities and attractions for kids to enjoy. Despite some concerns about older children not respecting the younger ones, many visitors have had positive experiences at the venue. Parents appreciate the opportunity for their kids to engage in sports and celebrate special occasions like birthdays. The maze is particularly enjoyable for young children, although it's important for parents to keep an eye on them due to its size.
Our 4 year old enjoyed it will

Nice playground for children of all ages. Nice cafe for the parents. Free wifi. Toilets and changing facilities weren’t great.
Marina — Google review
We checked it out for future reference. The place is ok'isch though not worth driving to. The theme is dinosaurs. There is a bouncy house, a climbing maze and a very small race track. All activities require additional payments. One thing I really disliked was the absence of supervision. Older kids (8-12) roam freely into all areas impacting the play of younger kids.

Parc Aurélien

Park
Parc Aurélien is a lovely natural park that offers a peaceful and family-friendly environment. It features an annual "Fete des plantes" with workshops for children, food, and animals. The park's informal atmosphere makes it a great place to walk around, admire interesting trees, and explore the remains of the Roman Aqueduct. With its impressive size and serene ambiance, it's an ideal spot to enjoy nature with your loved ones while breathing in some fresh air.
Never do you see a park in all of France like this you can just drive into! So there’s that. Then the aqueduct itself. So cool, so ahead of its time. A closer look got us talking about what a hurry they must have been in when they built it (old rocks boulder mashed together inside, vs exterior got tidier and nicer stones). Also the HUGE effort that went into building up the giant pillars-especially in one place you can see just how large the thing was, compared to the relatively narrow area designed to transport the water. Such care, so vital to promote its flow. In another place you can see tidy brick masonry from WW time-probably pretty close to how it actually looked back then in 1930s. “Well, it’s here, we may as well figure out how to use it, we can’t do this war without providing water for hospitals and military camps”—after seeing this you can see how politicians/generals/ engineers might have thought in that way.
Laura P — Google review
The Park is nice enough for a walk but not something I would make the effort to see from a tourist perspective. The ruins are small and not a lot of information with them. The villa is okay but not amazing. We ended up leaving the tour early.

Golf et Tennis Club de Valescure

Golf club
Golf course
Golf Tennis Club Valescure, located in St Raphael, is a historic course that has been around for a century and was designed by Lord Ashcomb. Despite its relatively short length of 5061 meters, the course maintains its British charm and offers a challenge with small greens often referred to as 'postage stamp.' The pro shop is well-stocked with various souvenirs, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
The pro shop is large and offers a bunch of souvenirs (logo cap, pitch fork, polos,..). Secretary is friendly. course is very well maintained and fairways are watered at all times. Design is quite beautiful. Signature hole is #15.
Vincent D — Google review
Played a round here with my best mate while visiting him in Frejus for a couple of weeks. A very warm welcome from the ladies in the reception area, bilingual (helped, but best friend is fluent French so no biggie), I found the course to be very pretty with very well kept greens, and it was challenging too. Pro shop was also very well stocked and helpful, although prices are higher than in UK due to weakness of the pound, so for big purchases best to wait until back in the UK (if that's where you're visiting from!) Well worth a round if in the area.
James H — Google review
Beautiful course, quite short but a nice challenge for all skill levels.
Paul S — Google review
Great course. Very hood value. Only one net for practice (left of the first fairway behind some trees). No bathrooms on the course. Very beautiful course.
Benoit C — Google review
Well maintained. Many short holes. Fast greens with tricky slopes. A few dangerous holes where balls from adjacent fairways can keep you on your toes and one (10th) where the second shot is completely blind. Nice restaurant/bar staff.
Michael L — Google review
You come here for history. I had the pleasure of playing this course with 2 members who recounted the club history. The greens were in great shape and the course is very interesting technically.

The Saint-Raphael Archaeological museum showcases a variety of historical findings ranging from prehistoric artifacts to Roman excavations and medieval catacombs. Despite its unassuming exterior, the museum offers a wealth of fascinating exhibits and is definitely worth visiting. Visitors can even climb the bell tower for stunning views of the town, seaside, and hills. The exhibits are well explained (mainly in French) with lovely settings that include an iconic garden.
The "Mythologies" exhibition in Saint-Raphaël is a true gem. For just 3€ per adult, you can explore two fascinating locations that bring ancient legends to life in a fresh, engaging way. Each space invites you to step into the world of gods and heroes, sparking your imagination and offering a unique cultural experience. It’s an easy walk from the town center, making it a perfect stop during your visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the blend of art and history—definitely worth the visit!
Matthieu A — Google review
Easy to miss this free gem but well worth the visit. Well laid out and some English language guides otherwise my phone translated the rest. The church is amazing as you can see the development from the fifth century to the twelfth like a cut away drawing. View from the tower worth the climb.
Jeremy L — Google review
Visited this hidden gem on a Thursday in August while staying in Saint Raphael at a nearby air BNB. The museum was recommended in the guide from tourist office and definitely did not disappoint. The museum exhibitions ranged from paleolithic history to modern day diving. The only downside was that the only English text was a fairly short visitor booklet, but you can't expect everything to be spoonfed. Furthermore, the church tower and crypts were amazing with good views from the top and an amazing insight into the older church beneath the modern day church. I particularly liked the archaeological gardens showing the history of plants in the area in terms of their introductions and use in medicine. If you are staying in Saint Raphael or just visiting for a day this free experience is definitely worth your time.
Mackenzie R — Google review
Wonderful museum with the best view in St Raphael. The museum is archaeological in nature, but has a really cool scuba diving history exhibit as well as WW2 exhibit. Completely free. You can go through the whole museum in as little as 30 minutes. We spent about an hour
Matthew K — Google review
A historical museum with proper guidance and directions. You can even go on top of tower to enjoy the city and an external garden to sit for some time. The museum is not far from old town and city town hall.
Travelling H — Google review
Lovely small museum, with nice settings and well explained legends (abeilt mainly in French). The garden is also iconic.

You’ll find this small museum in the middle of the center. Free of charge. You see a lot of history coming by. Pity that there were no explanations in English.

Pizzeria Chez Boubou is a delightful establishment that warrants a brief visit to savor a delectable slice of pizza. This esteemed eatery, situated in the charming Saint-Raphael locale, boasts an authentically Hungarian staff. The pizzas offered are not only incredibly scrumptious but also come at reasonable prices, making them accessible to all. Furthermore, the service provided is top-notch and ensures a pleasant dining experience for patrons.

We ate here twice during our summer stay in St Raphael. It's fair priced and very quick with excellent customer service. The pizza is pretty thin and has a great taste. Definitely recommend the four cheese

Disgracefull... Le chef with very poor manner refused to serve the food for us at 1.10 PM while his restaurant should be open at least up to 2PM. I'm not a quarrelsome person, but there were like half of the tables free and it was more than obvious that he just didn't want to do his job ( few minutes later he lied to my wife that his oven is broken, still serving the food for customers ). Shame.

Radu — Google review
After reading other reviews of this restaurant, we were really looking forward to enjoying a good meal and a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, we were severely disappointed. The only good thing about this place is the setting. The waitresses are unprofessional, rude and badly informed about the menu. The cocktails were served in tiny glasses and basically consisted of a lot of crushed ice with a drop of alcohol and a slice of lemon. The starters were utterly tasteless and the foie gras in the ‘fleur de courgette farci’ inexistant (when I mentioned this to the waitress, she checked the menu and then said ‘well there must be some in there’ and just walked off!). The main courses were ok but nothing to write home about. For dessert I asked for mango sorbet, instead of telling me they didn’t have it they served another sorbet. Generally, if I don’t enjoy a restaurant I put it down to experience but this goes way beyond unacceptable, especially in terms of service. To be avoided at all costs.

Affordable way to go to Saint Tropez as a tourist without a car. About 42 EUR for round trip and you get to choose departure date and time. Boats were on time and within an hour you're on location. I Asked the lovely man named Ludwig about the 5:30 return and he looked at our tickets and said, you leave in 1 hour. The lady at the desk never asked what time we wanted to return. 1 hour for €42 was never the plan. He said he would call and we would get a refund. We arrived back, spoke to the same woman that sold is the tickets and said she had informed us it was for 1 hour. I said we didn’t have time for even a gelato, we had beach bags, swimsuits etc…and that no one called her from the ferry. . They were ride, uncompromising and basically said to write to the website. What a horrible disappointment and disaster of an afternoon not to mention $200 USD for nothing.

A beautiful charming medium size boat, staff is very helpful. You will experience long wait in line without any short message or information, will be great a short announcement to satisfy the waiting travellers.
Travelling H — Google review
Really easy experience with this company getting to and from St Tropez. The staff was pleasant, and the process was fairly easy. I also appreciated how responsive the team was via electronic communication with my questions. A one way (as I was staying two nights) is a bit more complicated as you can only reserve the one way there. You must buy the second one way on the boat on the way back. I think there is a way to allow for this all at the time of initial reservation personally. Of note, the drop off in St Tropez is at the newer port, not the old one, which is a SLIGHTLY farther walk for those with luggage.

My wife needed a place to do some work and this place was perfect. They have a quiet area that had everything she needed: Free WiFi, electricity, air conditioning, silence, desks and access to a toilet. They have some computers to use, but there are not many so it's better if you have your own. There are, of course, CDs, DVDs, and books that you can get access to, but we were not there for that. The building has lifts, making it wheelchair accessible. . There is paid parking nearby with the first few minutes free if you're just dropping things off. Also, it's close to the city center, which is where you can find some places to eat for lunch. The staff were helpful too.

French restaurant
La Table Restaurant offers a creative Mediterranean menu and an extensive wine selection in a modest setting near the port. The bistro table is modern and welcoming, featuring light wood furniture and an open layout with ample natural light. Chef Frederic Allegres brings a refreshing twist to traditional dishes, demonstrating originality in both his techniques and training.
Came for dinner and the food quality was excellent and for a reasonable price! Will be back to eat again before we leave Saint Raphaël
Ashleigh H — Google review
One of the best meals we’ve had in the French Riviera. We stopped by Le Table for dinner on our way back from St Tropez. Service was a little slow (it took forever to get water) but I think that might just be the slower pace of things in France. I believe it’s a women owned and run restaurant. The chef is lady from Cambodia and Thailand. We ordered the scallop appetizers which was one of the best dishes. It was so good we asked for a second order. The seafood risotto was also delicious, probably one of the best I’ve had. The duck was cooked perfectly to a medium and well seasoned. Would definitely come back here for dinner if we ever return to the area

Nice restaurant. We had dinner with three. Took a maincourse and desert. I had the raw meat. Sauce was good. Afterwards pain perdu. Good too. Red wine was great too. The staff very quick. We had a table inside. The airco made it pleasant. We sat at a long table with other people, but seperated by plexiglass.

Plage Beaurivage, located in the coastal town of Saint-Raphael in the Cote d'Azur region of southern France, lives up to its name with its magnificent setting. The beach is easily accessible from the city center and offers a sublime view of the Mediterranean.
Nice beach, less people because of the stones (bring beach shoes). Water is clean and if you are into snorkeling there are some interesting rocks and fish to observe.

Le Grillardin is a great restaurant with excellent food and service. The setting is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers, which makes it perfect for all sorts of diners.
I think a very nice place to have a great meal in Saint Raphael. Very welcoming and nice ambience. The food is very tasty and freshly done and they have a big verity of wine. We had a very delicious welcoming tapenade with a mix of green and black olives, then with coffee some french sweets and at the end this delicious ... I don't want to spoil everything 😉 Bref... you need to try it by yourself. Bring good mood and time with you!

This is by far the best restaurant of the region. A must-do for everyone Pros: - Tasty & fresh food - The waiter is very helpful and kind - we Didn't wait too long for the food although the restaurant was full. We ordered a "Pescator pizza", "Dorade royale grillée", "Tarte tartinette tatin aux pommes caramélisées", and a "Nougat glacé". All of them were excellent. Cons: - Menu available only in french.

Found this place looking for somewhere with gluten-free options. Staff: friendly, efficient and welcoming Location: central, off the main noisy, tacky drag Menu: pizzas and some fish Wait for food: not long Food quality: nice pizza, dourade fish was perfectly cooked and extremely juicy Prices: quality v. pice was about right and we didn't feel ripped off leaving the place (which is often the case these days) A nice cozy little eatery with nice ambience, food and wine. If you're close by, then drop in and have something to eat.

A small restaurant with cosy atmosphere and family feeling. The food is of top quality, served with nice presentation. Pizza restaurant
Don Camillo Pizza is a pizzeria that stands out for its exceptional quality and delicious taste of their pizzas. Unlike other take-out options, Don Camillo Pizza consistently delivers pizzas that are neither rushed nor burnt, and they are rich in ingredients. This establishment has gained a reputation as the best place to enjoy authentic Americano-Italian cuisine. The level of service provided is exceptional, and the selection of pizzas is highly recommended by satisfied customers.
This is some of the best pizza you will find in this region of France. They use a wood fire oven and it definite comes through in the taste. It's about a 5 minute walk from the train station, easy to access, take out only. Pizza size is smaller for the price, but the quality and taste make up for it.

McDonald's, a renowned and well-established fast-food franchise famous for its hamburgers and potato-based sides, has a timeless appeal. It boasts convenient placements and appealing aesthetics in its restaurants. The cuisine offered by this chain is commendable. However, there is room for improvement in the quality of their French fries across all branches of McDonald's worldwide.
We ate at this McDonald's this afternoon and were surprised by the speed and kindness of our server. Pierre, the employee, was very friendly, helpful, and quite cute. We recommend this McDonald's and hope you meet someone as cheerful as this server.

We were in this McDonald’s just for the quick “dinner” we ordered french fries chicken nuggets and something for drink, firstly they changed ours orders, (we’re lucky that we sitting together) all of the meals were cold, the french fries were prepared like 3 day ago, I don’t have words for this, I think there’s nothing you can mess up… when we confronted them they just offered us ice cream and they were filming us and laughing in our faces. Horrible attitude of the staff and the manager…
