Grasse in 5 days

If you only have 5 days to spend in Grasse, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Grasse is known as the world’s perfume capital, where historic fragrance houses and museums let you see how scents are created from local flowers like jasmine and roses. Its medieval old town, with narrow lanes, shaded squares and baroque churches, offers a quieter, more traditional atmosphere than the coastal resorts. Set in the hills above the French Riviera, Grasse provides sweeping views toward the Mediterranean and easy access to nearby destinations such as Cannes and Nice. In summer, flower festivals and perfumery workshops add extra reasons to visit.
With favorites like Usine Musée Parfums Galimard | Grasse, Bistro Gusto, and ACHIANA, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like La cigale - Restaurant familial and ACHIANA so you can get the best taste of Grasse while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Parfumerie Fragonard - The History Factory Grasse

4.5
(8866)
Perfume store
Parfumerie Fragonard is one of the three perfume factories in Grasse that offers free guided tours, allowing visitors to witness the entire process of perfume making from flower gathering to bottling. The historic factory and perfume shop provide an enchanting experience, with opportunities for visitors to create their own personalized perfumes. Additionally, exploring the stone streets and colorful buildings of Grasse adds to the magical ambiance of the visit.
Grasse is a small and beautiful town. It transforms you into medieval times. This town smells of great fragrance,  Fragonard. You definitely need to visit,  the tour of factory is free of charge but you need to book in advance. Their products are exceptionally good. This is a place not to be missed when planning a trip to French Riviera.
Jasdeep S — Google review
Really interesting story behind the museum; the tour and the visit are free. Really nice boutique with their fragrance products. I do not consider it a tourist trap as others saw it.
Ruxandra C — Google review
I had a good experience during my visit, and the lady provided a clear introduction to Fragonard. I believe the products are generally of high quality. However, after the site visit, when we purchased some items, the service was not as professional as I had hoped. When I requested a product, she (in photo) simply placed it on the table with a neutral expression and without any explanation. I expected at least a smile or hand it to me. As the only Asian buyer in the group, I felt that I didn’t receive the respect or professional service I deserved. This experience led me to feel that this esteemed brand may not fully welcome Asian customers.
Oliver F — Google review
If you're ever in Grasse, you've gotta pop into Parfumerie Fragonard - The History Factory. It's this cool spot with a free guided tour that takes you through perfume-making history from 1926 onward, think old-school equipment, sniffing fresh lavender and jasmine, and seeing how they whip up scents today. Super interactive and great for families, plus you can mix your own perfume as a fun takeaway. The stuff smells amazing, lasts forever, and it's surprisingly affordable without any sales pressure. Quick visit that left me buzzing totally worth it!
KolinMan — Google review
Storied parfumerie named after the painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard who was born in Grasse in 1732. Beautiful building and interesting museum. The highlight is a free factory tour where you can learn about how perfumes are manufactured. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful store.
Nils P — Google review
We visited Fragonard, one of the well-known perfume brands in Grasse. Around 1 PM, it was crowded inside, but there were plenty of staff members. They displayed perfumes, creams, room scents, and similar products in a large hall where you could easily try each product. We walked around comfortably and tested most of the items. The visuals were nice, too. We didn’t join a tour; our main goal was to try and see the products. Parking is limited in Grasse, and Fragonard most spots are reserved for tour buses. Finding parking is difficult, so be prepared to walk a bit.
Osman G — Google review
If you want to learn more about perfume in the region go there. This perfume institute is the youngest of the three in Grasse and the guide we had was very knowledgeable about the history of the area.
Carmel B — Google review
Interesting experience learning about fragrance blending. Everyone has the same basic fragrance components and created the same base with a few tweaks. Fragonard is everywhere in France and the fragrances are not as sophisticated or complex as Dior or Chanel but there are definitely some nice ones and they certainly are reasonably priced. If you are deeply interested in creating a signature fragrance for yourself, I suggest you book the $300+ experience at Galimard.

Café des Musées is a contemporary café located near Fragonard, offering excellent vegetarian food and a small lunch menu. The cafe provides a fantastic experience with incredibly cordial and professional staff, fresh homemade products, and great service. Guests can enjoy local cheese, meats, and wine trays at Les Delicatesses de Grasse or opt for budget-friendly options like Le Croissant Rose.
Excellent, never tasted so good a homemade soup and homemade quiche, and grill and coffee gourmet is best I have had. The waiter was excellent and could explain menu in English. Definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

We had a lovely meal here—everything was so fresh and full of flavor. Grasse isn’t just the perfume capital of the world, it’s also a place where craftsmanship, natural ingredients, and tradition all come together. You can really feel the quality in everything, from the food to the local shops. That’s why I ended up doing a bunch of shopping here for my nephew. It just felt like the perfect place to find something thoughtful and special.

This year I toured France following the Napoleon route. It was the best, healthiest and most delicious meal I had during my 10-day trip. And I also tasted Diabolo, a drink unique to France. You should definitely go, I highly recommend it. They are delicious. 👌🏻

After visiting the nearby museum me and my brother decided to stop for a few waters and since there wasn’t many people we decided to sit in a small table. Soon after they were closing so the waitress approached us an rudely said “SORRY, WE CLOSE” and as soon we got up she added “And normally with water you don’t sit”. Furthermore, when we were arriving a lady was calmly having a coffee while smoking a cigarette and another waiter approached her with an ash tray and said “we’re closing soon please finish”. I’ve never encountered such rude staff!

Very good food, delicious and well presented. The Farcis were extremely well made and so was the Magret de Canard. We also took a Croque Monsieur and a Salade Niçoise which were decent but nothing special to be frank. For dessert, we took a CheeseCake to share along with some expressos, all was alright however the cheescakw was a but too sour for my liking. WARNING: The only toilets are these public toilets outside which were not very clean and smelt so bad.
Mylan M — Google review
Decent food place. Waiter and owner are very nice and polite. We came early and there weren't any customer but us. They greet us politely and let us know that the kitchen still preparing so please wait 15mins. The salad is actually good. It's very fresh.

A small cafe/restaurant with a small menu but the food was big on flavour and the service was friendly and welcoming. The ravioli was delicious and the salad was fresh, and reasonably priced considering the quality of food and the little location. It was a great stop after walking the streets of Grasse.

Food is fresh. The salad niçoise and the local wine delicious. Gratin of wolf fish was good too, I would add more fish. The service is fast and people are friendly.

The Office de Tourisme Pays de Grasse (Cours) is a must-visit when exploring France. It offers invaluable assistance and friendly service, making it easy for travelers to navigate the area. The picturesque train ride from Nice to Grasse, included in day passes and family tickets, provides stunning views as it winds along the seaside before reaching its final stop in Grasse. However, the station is a distance from the main village, requiring a walk uphill or a wait for the free shuttle.
The Office de Tourisme Pays de Grasse (Cours) is incredibly helpful and friendly. When visiting France, Grasse and its perfume factories are a must-see. The charming old town and magnificent views make it a memorable destination.

Small plates restaurant
Les Delicatesses de Grasse is a charming spot offering a delightful selection of local cheeses, meats, and wine trays. For those on a budget, Le Croissant Rose is a great option. Lougolin Restaurant provides panoramic views and serves seasonal recipes like zucchini flowers stuffed with basil and ricotta, as well as tomato tartare. The owner, Charles Butterworth, ensures top-notch service in English, French, and Italian.
This is not a place you would think you would find an amazing vegan option - but it is! If anything I want to bring attention to plant based eaters that everything there is amazing ant not generic. A large vegan platter for two is very well curated and satisfying. I wholeheartedly recommend! For non vegan, I think you will be happy as well :) Kind staff, lots of flavor, outdoor seats and take away options.

Very good testing menu for local meats and cheeses to pair them with testing plate of the local meats and cheese. Lovely experience to try a lot of good quality products and to buy with you on your choice. Waitresses couldn't do anything better to leave us very satisfied. Highly recommended.

The staff was fantastic! We ordered the platter for two and it was absolutely delicious — generous portions of cheeses, charcuterie, and other specialties, all beautifully prepared. The team was very kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything and make us feel at home. The quality and variety of the products were excellent, and it’s a great way to discover typical local flavors. Perfect for sharing and enjoying in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended if you want to experience authentic tastes from the region!

When in Grasse go here!!! Great place, nice and local food, good atmosphere. Excellent for lunch and a glass of wine or an afternoon “aperitivo” kind of meal. We had the vegetarian platter, which comes with a lot of variations. If you especially like something you can also buy it inside after, which is convenient. The young waitress attended us perfectly, explained everything and was super friendly. She did an awesome job especially considering that she ran the place all by herself, chapeau. Even though it’s been two weeks that we were there I still wanted to write a review bc. we just couldn’t forget about this place. MERCI
Selina W — Google review
We’d been in Grasse for a few days and walked past here many times, it was always busy but at the times we wanted to eat it always seemed full. So we adjusted our timings and went just after the end of “The Grand Aioli” on the Sunday of the Jasmine Festival where most locals and many tourists had feasted at. We were in luck as it was quiet and we had champagne, pastis (bleu) and a traditional local fare sharing platter. It was a triumph and we could not finish it, it was so plentyful. I did though manage a second local pastis bleu. If you are in Grasse for long enough, keep trying to visit, it’s delicious with great service.
Steve S — Google review
The selection and quality of cheese and charcuterie was some of the best I have anywhere. The young lady who served us was polite, informative and gave us great recommendations of platters to order. The meats were not fatty and beautifully sliced, cheeses were full of flavour and all the accompaniments were perfect. If you’re ever in Grasse and want a light, quality meal then head to this restaurant.

Churches & Cathedrals
Grasse Cathedral, a 13th-century Roman Catholic cathedral, is a must-visit in Grasse. This beautiful example of Gothic architecture is one of the largest cathedrals in France and houses impressive paintings by renowned artists like Rubens, Nègre, and Fragonard. Visitors can explore the interior to admire the stunning stained glass windows and intricate decorations.
Beautiful church. The central nave was built in the 13th century. A later Chapel of the Blessed Testament was built in 1738. The interior contains many beautiful artworks including three paintings by Rubens and one by Charles Negre ("The Death of Saint Paul") who was born and died in Grasse. Negre was a painter who later became an even more famous photographer.
Nils P — Google review
Grasse Cathedral is a stunning ancient church nestled amidst the hilly streets of the city. Although reaching it can be a bit challenging due to the city's topography, the effort is undoubtedly worth it. The cathedral boasts unique paintings by Rubens, adding to its historical significance and allure. However, our visit was slightly disappointing as the lady responsible for the church closed its doors just 10 minutes before our arrival, denying us entry. Despite this setback, the exterior alone exudes a sense of grandeur and makes it a worthwhile stop in Grasse.
Sue C — Google review
A very pretty cathedral in the heart of the town of Grasse! It is not very large but it is very beautiful. Inside there are several reliquaries of saints and some stunning chapels!

An interesting cathedral dating back from the 12 century. I wouldn’t drive here just to visit, but if you happen to be in Grasse, it’s worth a visit. Also check out the panoramic view of Grasse behind the cathedral.

Wowww this is one of the best cathedrals I’ve ever visited! The dark stone ! so cool and gothic! My mum thinks it needs some refurbishing because the paint is ripped off the walls etc but I say DONT TOUCH IT, looks better this way

Very very old building, fantastically preserved. In the cellar/crypt there is an exhibition for local artists to show and sell their works. I really liked this concept - showing off your local talent and culture while also giving the artists the opportunity for sharing their talent with the world and making some extra income.

It's a MUST if you are in Grasse. Visit it not only because you need the shadow but because it's beautiful inside. Impressive decoration and architecture. Take a moment and light a candle. Don't miss the small square with the view behind 😉

La Cigale - Restaurant familial in Grasse has been receiving rave reviews for its delicious food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The restaurant is family-owned and the staff are known for being kind and genuine. Visitors have praised the quality of the food, from starters to desserts, with particular highlights being the tartar and bacon burger. Despite its excellent location, diners have found the prices surprisingly affordable. The service is described as quick, friendly, and accommodating even during busy times.
Really friendly owner and helpful staff. Typical French cuisine home cooked and quite understated. Had the daily special of stuffed sardines which were excellent and the steak with fabulous chips. To finish we had a cafe gourmand which was very tasty and we were given a couple of cognacs on the house before we left.
Jansie — Google review
10 minutes to order, 30 minutes to wait for galettes which are nothing but terrible. Dough is very oily and lacks taste, like they mix a lot (really a lot) of oil, water and flour and they are not even using salt at all. It was also burnt on the bottom. Any amateur cook would cook it better. I didn’t expect much for a quick lunch but even these low expectations were not met.
Marina A — Google review
During my visit in Grasse I ate 3 different dinner at this cute restaurant. Their all courses from starters to deserts exteremely delicious. It is woman and family owned restaurant and all staff are so kind and geniune. Prices are not expensive when you consider the quality and portions. Whether you are alone or with a big group they treat you well.

Nice fresh food, small portions, but terrible service from a hostile waitress who had to be asked repeatedly to bring water. We never ever received bread with our meal which is unacceptable in France. There are many other options that are far better than this tourist trap.

Quick friendly service and fresh food. I had the duck with tasty french fries. I appreciated the load of vegetables and the delicious sauce going with the duck. My friend took the tartare. I would go here again!
Morgane G — Google review
Not a family restaurant, don’t be fooled by the name. We went because it was open earlier than other places for dinner and we had two hot tired hungry children. We accidentally broke a glass while settling in (that’s our bad of course) but the staff didn’t clean it up properly and left shards of glass everywhere. We were with our 1 year old and 3 year old. Further, they had only 1 high chair available and it was hilariously broken, like ridiculously so, we didn’t even try it (see photo). Our baby sat in our lap and we were worried about the glass so we couldn’t set them down the whole time. The burger bun was burnt and the burger inedible, the salade Nicoise was a heap of canned tuna and wilted greens, the steak was tough. The restaurant dog came to beg for leftovers at the end. The drinks were strong though and the dog was cute, I’ll give it that. Just a very weird hazardous place not safe for children, with bad food. We were in France for 3 weeks dining everywhere from airport cafes to Michelin starred restaurants, and this was the only negative dining experience we had. Tant pis! I’m writing this review to warn anyone with young children.

ACHIANA is a delightful eatery located in Grasse's charming Old Town. With a captivating terrasse nested in the heart of the area, it offers an array of delectable dishes and commendable service. If you crave flavorful cuisine, ACHIANA is your go-to spot. Don't forget to indulge in their garlic naan, which comes highly recommended. I can not think of one single positive thing to be honest. The food was not good. It tasted a bit old. Rice was not included and was charged extra. Which is not common. The service by the owner was not friendly at all. Prices for drinks way to high and wrong sizes of drinks were served. Way smaller as mentioned in the menu and even for smaller size we were charged even more as mentioned in the menu card. Also for the food they charged us more and did not say anything about it. The amount charged was around 50% higher. We would not visit that place ever again and can also not recommend further.

I had low expectations when I arrived at Bella Napoli, as I was extremely hungry and couldn't find any other options. However, locals recommended it so I decided to give it a chance. To my surprise, the spaghetti bolognese was one of the best I've ever had! The staff were also very friendly. It was a delightful way to end an evening in Grasse. If given the opportunity, I would definitely return to Bella Napoli.

👍 Amazing Coming from Italy, I’m used to the best, and this restaurant deserves the 5 ⭐️ The ingredients are of great quality, the pizza is HUGE and very tasty. I will definitely eat there again once I’m back in Grasse! Give it a try and see for yourself. Bonne Appetit!

The food is terrible—tasteless, bland, the meat is rubbery and full of gristle. The waiters got our order wrong twice, and none of the staff speak English. On top of that, the service is rude and ignores the customers. The menu is also not available in English. Pigeons walk on the tables, and the staff don’t even clean them afterward. A complete disaster—I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You’ll only end up disappointed.

My friends and I are visiting from the US for a birthday trip and we were looking for somewhere to eat after a long day of travel. We did some research and found Au Fil du Temps on Google Maps. We had the leeks and truffle and artichoke cannelloni to start and individually we had the burger, meat of the moment (veal), and tomato based risotto. Lastly we had the crème brûlée, chestnut cake and lemon curd. The food was phenomenal! One dish better than the last. The starters and desserts are still topics for discussion on the trip and we went there about a week ago. The host was friendly, attentive and stayed open for us. We had the restaurant to ourselves and had a fun time! The music and lighting made the atmosphere lively and reenergized us after our travels. Definitely was a great start to our vacation! Thank you for such an amazing meal and experience!

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Musée International de la Parfumerie (MIP), then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Le Croissant Rose. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Specialty Museums
The Musée International de la Parfumerie (MIP) is a captivating fragrance museum that offers a journey through the rich culture, history, and production of perfume over thousands of years. Housed in an 18th-century mansion with a modern glass extension, the museum showcases an impressive collection of artifacts, including Marie Antoinette's travel case, vintage posters, and olfactive stations.
The Museum of Perfume in Grasse is an absolute "must-see" for all perfume lovers and anyone interested in the fascinating world of perfumery. The museum provides a detailed and immersive insight into the history of perfumes and the art of perfumery. From ancient techniques to modern innovations, the exhibits are beautifully curated to educate and inspire visitors of all ages. One of my favorite parts was the timeline showcasing the release of iconic perfumes. This was my second visit to the museum after several years, and I was delighted to discover new points of interest and fresh perspectives. It truly feels like a place where there is always something new to learn and explore. If you’re passionate about scents or simply curious about how perfumes have shaped art and culture over centuries, this museum is a perfect destination. Highly recommended!

If you're even "thinking" about visiting Grasse—the perfume capital of the world—then you absolutely "cannot" miss the "Musée International de la Parfumerie"! This place is an absolute gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our fragrance journey. What makes this museum so special? Well, it’s not just about "looking" at exhibits—it’s a full sensory experience! You’ll *see*, *hear*, and most importantly, *smell* your way through the fascinating history of perfumery. And the best part? The museum gives you an unbiased, educational deep-dive—no brand hype, just pure perfume passion. Now, here’s where our visit went from great to "unforgettable": we were lucky enough to get a kind of a "private tour" with the incredible "Marie", our guide. Not many visitors on that day, so she did the tour only for us. Honestly, she’s an absolute treasure! Her knowledge was astounding, her storytelling was captivating, and her enthusiasm was infectious. It’s clear she "loves" what she does, and her ability to explain everything in perfect English with her lovely French accent made the experience even better. Marie deserves every bit of praise—trust us. You'd be just as impressed as we were! So, if you’re heading to Grasse (or even just "considering" it), do not skip this museum. Whether you’re a perfume fanatic or just curious, you’ll leave with a whole new appreciation for the art of fragrance. Go, smell, learn, and fall in love with perfumery! You won’t regret it. Rating: 5 stars out of 5

I visited in June 2025 and paid 6 euros for a ticket. It wasn't really for me — the museum is small and quite niche. But if you're passionate about perfume history or vintage bottles, you might enjoy it more than I did. A unique stop, but probably better suited for true fragrance enthusiasts.

The Fragonart Perfume Museum in the center of Grasse and the sales area inside the museum are crowded especially in summer. You can see old and new equipment related to perfume making in the museum. There is free parking in front of the museum. It was a nice experience to understand the story of perfume.
Selman Ö — Google review
I am a true perfume fan, really passionate about fragrances. And Grasse is the fragrance epicenter. I must say this experience wasn’t exactly what I expected. Firstly, I was really keen to see how perfumes are made – maybe a small demonstration or even a short movie showing more or less how they do it. But this is just a museum with artifacts. There are a lot of them, from ancient times up to the 21st century, but as I said, this wasn’t what I thought it would be.
Leona B — Google review
Superbe museum. The city itself was a total disappointment. Too many touristic traps. The Saturday market was so sad (3-4 stalls selling fruits from Spain, not even locally sourced items). However, the museum was a great surprise. There is a 90min visit (in French) at 3 euros which is amazing (11am in summer). The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Totally recommend (more than the Fragonard one).

Quite a large museum covering the history of perfume till present day...interesting processes from start to the finished product...also display of eastern influences with interesting containers as well as the bigger brands & how they came into existence...there is a shop available to purchase perfumes as well...

This museum was nothing like I imagined. It's entirely dedicated to perfume, covering its history, artifacts, and rare collections. The exhibits showcase different aspects of this fascinating art form in an engaging way. I learned so much during my visit; it was truly eye-opening.

(Translated by Google) A new ban has been introduced: drinking water during performances, with the problem being handled quickly: spectators' bottles and water bottles are being thrown in the trash despite the heat of the past few days... We were there last night for our children's end-of-year dance performance, and believe me, more than one person was shocked by the security staff's aggressiveness in confiscating and disposing of the belongings of those who were recalcitrant or simply distracted. Let's hope this is overzealous staff rather than instructions from theater management... Fragonard Boutique Maison Grasse is a family-owned company established in 1926, located in the heart of the perfume world. The shop offers a wide range of perfumes, soaps, and beauty products. Visitors can expect an inviting interior and friendly staff who are eager to guide them through finding a new scent. Additionally, it is one of the three major perfumeries in Grasse and offers tours showcasing the historical production of perfume.
Very informative tour, had fun smelling all the perfumes. Highly recommended and I’m not really that into perfumes but still had a great time! Had a very informative tour guide who spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable, willing to answer all our questions, thank you Lou!

Fragonard, one of the three big parfumeries at Grasse. I would say the most popular one and the biggest one with the most likely selling points around the world, like Nice, Marseille or Monte Carlo. We love to be there again, we love the wonderful flower smell and this kind of Fragonard's art. The shop itself is nearly anytime crowded, the house is within the museum, the tour through the fantastic historical production of parfume. All the visitor's tours end in the boutique so that they "should" buy the parfumés and the do! In this shop you not only get parfumés, you also can get things to design your room....In the vieux town of Grasse there is an additional shop for Fragonard home. We will come back next time....

Visiting Fragonard was a highlight of our trip, and that’s entirely thanks to Mélanie. She took the time to walk us through the world of fragrance in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Her deep knowledge and calm, welcoming presence made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The tour through the factory was a great mix of behind-the-scenes insight and interesting history. Mélanie’s genuine enthusiasm for perfume came through in every part of the visit — she truly elevated the whole thing.

I visited this place for a mini perfume making workshop. I was so pleasantly surprised to see how well the workshop was organised and the museum tour afterwards was absolutely fantastic. I ended up buying a couple of perfumes as they really had some very nice fragrances. Do visit this place if you are in Paris

- Recommended - In Comparison to Molinard & Galimard, Fragonard had the largest selection of perfume, which is highly recommended. There really is scent for everyone! The staff was friendly and helpful. However, coffee beans were missing, which are responsible for neutralizing the sense of smell (expected in such a place). It is really worth a visit (especially for women).

The Musée Fragonard - Collection Jean-Honoré Fragonard is a must-visit destination in Grasse, known for its rich history in perfume making and as the birthplace of renowned painter Jean-Honore Fragonard. The museum offers free tours in English, providing insights into the history of perfume production and showcasing high-quality French-made products. Visitors can also explore art exhibitions featuring unique paintings and antique perfume bottles while enjoying the fragrant soaps available for purchase.
Fragonard was founded in 1926 and took its name from the well-known painter, in honor of it. On the ground floor you will see a representation of the traditional distillation process, while on the upper floor you will choose perfumes, body creams and room fragrances at prices starting from 20 euros per 100ml. The staff were very kind and helped us to find the perfect perfumes.

Been there in summer 2023 and the visit was really interesting, we learned a lot about how perfumes were made!
Lou T — Google review
I recently had the chance to visit the Musée Fragonard and its Jean-Honoré collection in Grasse, and I must say it was one of the highlights of my trip to the French Riviera. What impressed me most was how intimate and authentic the experience felt. Unlike some larger, more overwhelming museums, this one has a quiet charm that allows you to really take your time with the works on display. The collection dedicated to Jean-Honoré Fragonard is especially moving. Seeing his paintings and drawings in the very town where he was born adds an extra layer of depth to the visit. The museum does a wonderful job of highlighting not only his artistry but also his ties to Grasse, which gives the experience a personal and almost local touch. The rooms are arranged in a way that feels both elegant and approachable, so you don’t feel rushed or crowded, and you can truly connect with the art. What I also appreciated was the balance between the art itself and the context provided. The information panels are clear, insightful, and not too overwhelming. You come away with a real sense of Fragonard’s style, his role in the Rococo movement, and how his works reflect both the lightheartedness and refinement of that period. Even if you are not an art historian, the museum manages to make his world accessible and engaging. Another detail that made the visit special was the atmosphere. The building itself has so much character, with its old walls and quiet corners, that you almost feel like you’re stepping back in time. Combined with the fragrant air of Grasse drifting in from outside, it’s an experience that engages more than just your eyes, it feels like you’re truly immersed in French culture and history. Overall, I would highly recommend the Musée Fragonard to anyone visiting Grasse, whether you’re an art lover or simply curious about the town’s heritage. It doesn’t take an entire day, but it leaves a lasting impression, and it’s the kind of place where you walk out feeling richer in spirit. For me, it was not just a museum visit, but a genuine encounter with the elegance and charm of a bygone era.

Grasse is really the biggest tourist trap I've been to. The shops and streets all look dated and really doesn't offer much in terms of touristic sights. Also saw a weaponry shop right at main street...didn't feel safe with the higher number of dodgy characters I saw around. The train back to cannes comes every hour so if you missed, it is a long wait.

I don’t usually do reviews, but this was one of my worst restaurant experiences ever. My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant as our hotel recommended it when we arrived in Grasse. We really wished that we’d read most of the reviews first. For starter, we received a warm can of coke with two glasses of water (melted ice) And there was no good attitude when sending it back. The risotto we ordered was NOT what I would call risotto, and tasted like something that had just been heated up a bit. Very dry experience. We ordered pizza and it was burned. We didn’t finish and wanted to leave. We asked, even two waiters for the bill, and had to wait forever to pay. There was a general bad atmosphere and the restaurant definitely influenced our experience -and first night in Grasse in a negative way.
M N — Google review
My dish arrived 20 minutes after my boyfriends pizza so we did not get to eat at the same time... The meat I ordered was burnt on the outside and some of my potato chips were still frozen. Half of the staff wears their mask under their chin and I’m pretty sure hygiène measures are not respected. We asked for the bill 5 times and to 3 different waiters. The attitude of the staff was in line with the negative experience ... definitely sad to visit Grasse which holds such strong French heritage and to end up having such poor culinary experience ...

Nestled just seven kilometers from Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, this course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. offers an exquisite blend of technical challenges and natural beauty.
Beautiful course in many ways close to Cannes! Has small and modern clubhouse and friendly staff. It was easy to get a tee time when we played since it was quiet at course. Driving range and putting green next to first tee. Conditions were great! Better than many in the area. Maybe greens could have been slightly shorter but it was a pleasure putting since ball moved always as you would expect. The course is narrow and not very long. It’s still easy to stay on track, unless you have no control. Iron is enough (and preferred) for many hole to tee off with. The front nine is quite flat, but back nine has more hills. Be prepared to go up and down. Can recommend this course and will go back!
Mikko S — Google review
Beautifully situated but very hilly course with varying quality and misleading info about greenfees. Greens very fast, fairways of back nine in poor condition. Also bunkers in bad condition with annoyingly hard sand of poor quality. Warning, reduced greenfees (up to 35 € reduction) at certain times, announced on website, do not apply for booking at site, but this information is not obvious on website.
Mathias H — Google review
Greens & tee- boxes are good and that’s it. The fairways have lots of spots without grass and the bunkers are a disaster. There is basically no sand in any of them and they are not maintained at all. We have played a lot of different courses over the last month and have not seen anything like this before. Covid-19 is no excuse when other places manage to keep their bunkers in good shape anyway. The last round took at least half and hour longer than need due to slow moving groups and the lack of an marshal to take action. Price and quality does not match.
Henrik B — Google review
Spacious spaces and a nice team that caters to the donkeys and it's quite quiet. I've been here 5 times.
Gd A — Google review
Clubhouse, staff and drinks all really great! Welcome in the Pro shop was superb. Then you go on the course and it all goes down hill in a negative way. The course was for nearly a 100 Euros per person in really poor condition. I understand that water is in short supply and they have been affected but then this should have been reflected in a reduced green fee. Fairways were bald and more like dried mud and the greens were just OK. Bunkers were terrible with hard, compacted builders type sand! Overall the course looked tired and neglected apart from the holes visible to the marvelous clubhouse. The layout of the course is good with some super holes but it needs water and it needs some love and attention. Worth playing but I would want a reduced green fee if it stays at the same quality.
Andrew J — Google review
A very diverse course with a nice layout and great views. Very friendly people and good training facilities. No two holes are the same! The only points of critique would be that they water the bunkers which turns them into concrete, which is a pity because the sand in there can be very playable if they would not do that. Now normal sandy bunkershots are nearly impossible. Another issue they have is that there are too many players with apparent back problems. Nobody cares to bend over and repair their pitchmarks, which makes these very soft greens very inconsistent amd ugly. This is a pity because the layout of the greens is quite nice! The bar and restaurant are nice. Overall a very nice experience and well worth the money for a fun round of golf on a very diverse course.

Golf course is outstanding. Restaurant service appalling today 27/7/2018, with reservation D'Arrò for 8 people at 2.30pm. Review of the restaurant service: I had reserved a table for 8 people for 2.30pm. No one at the telephone told me that the kitchen would be close from 3pm. We arrived at 2.35pm, gave our name to the waitress, and she gave us a table outside. Apparently they had given our table to someone else, without checking their name. She let us wait for 25 minutes without serving us anything to drink. We had to go and look for her at 2.55pm so that she could take our order and she comes and says that it is too late, the kitchen will close at 3pm so we could only have snacks, rather than the regular menu. While we were eating our snacks we ordered more drinks, she took the order and never came back with our drinks. When we had finished our snacks, without having received our second serving of drinks, we had to go to the bar to complain and get our bill which certainly wasn't cheap, at 122 eur for 7 sandwiches (the kids shared one). At the counter we did not find the unprofessional waitress who might have finished her turn. We were not offered to speak with a manager or to have our bill taken care of, notwithstanding our visible disappointment. Appalling service, it is a shame.

Parfumerie Fragonard - Grasse Factory Of Flowers

Manufacturer
Parfumerie Fragonard - Grasse Factory Of Flowers is a renowned perfume manufacturer situated in Grasse, France. The factory offers free guided tours where visitors can delve into the rich history of perfume-making and witness the entire fragrance production process. From distillation to blending and packaging, guests gain insight into every step. The knowledgeable guides enthusiastically answer questions and provide valuable information about fragrances.
Visiting Parfumerie Fragonard was a very pleasant and fascinating experience. One of the highlights was the opportunity to see the production process of perfumed soap firsthand and listen to interesting insights about both traditional and modern techniques, shared by the guide. The explanation was engaging and easy to follow, especially during the demonstration of perfume samples, where we could try different scents and learn about their composition. An added bonus was the easy access to the location – there was convenient parking available, and no reservation was needed for the tour. The entire visit was very well-organized. We also had a positive experience in the shop, where we could see and try everything before making a purchase. The selection was extensive, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place to anyone interested in perfumes or looking for a unique and enriching experience.

Visiting Fragonard Parfumerie in Grasse was such a lovely experience. The moment I walked in, everything smelled incredible, soft, natural scents that instantly lift your mood. The staff were warm, genuine, and clearly love what they do. The tour was short but really interesting, showing how much care and tradition go into every fragrance. The shop itself is beautiful, full of little treasures and elegant bottles. I left with a perfume that reminds me of Provence every time I wear it. Just a wonderful place all around.
KolinMan — Google review
We had a nice time visiting the Fragonard factory. The tour is free and then it costs money to do the workshops. I did the mini workshop and thought that I could have passed on it. You don’t really get to create your own perfume, you get to drop base notes, heart notes, and top notes to make a perfume that is kind of premade for you. We didn’t love it so we’re not sure what we will do with them. Also the perfumes in the shop aren’t my favourite, and the workshop ends with some borderline pushy sales tactics. Overall enjoyable but I wouldn’t pay to do the mini workshop again.
MT — Google review
We went for a perfume workshop where we made our own perfume. A really cool experience. It was possible in English and took around 2 hours. Afterwards we got a guided tour through the factory. Afterwards you can of course buy all the products.
Matthias T — Google review
The workshop was amazing. You can create your own perfume.

We did the tour and small Parfum workshop for 30€ / 45 min. The tour was very interesting and through the whole manufacturing. And the Parfum making was also quite fun! Recommended 👍

Since we missed the Fragonard factory tour in Eze, we had to visit this one in Grasse. This tour is absolutely free! The guide carries herself well and answered all our questions cheerfully even when this is a free tour. We were glad to learn about the history and manufacturing of perfume and soaps. At the end of the tour, you will end up in the shop which sells irresistible perfumes and soaps! Really enjoyed this. Highly recommend this place but you will need to catch the timings for English tours.

Restaurant LE VIETNAM in Grasse offers delectable dishes inspired by the local land's bountiful herbs. The spring rolls, pho, and grilled pork are exceptionally flavorful and unique. Their lunch plates are also generously portioned, making it a satisfying dining experience. The staff at this restaurant is both friendly and professional, with Perle being especially commendable. The dining area has an interesting layout that adds to its distinctiveness.
This is a very friendly authentic Vietnamese restaurant! The service is very attentive and the food is perfect! I had szechuan chicken with rice, and as a dessert flambéed pineapple with caramel sauce. Both were very delicious, and I can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat Vietnamese cuisine, or just wants to try something new.

Simply, my favorite food in Grasse. Maybe it’s something about the land that grows the herbs, but the spring rolls, the pho and the grilled pork are uniquely delicious. Lunch plates are generous too. Lou Pignatoun is a charming local restaurant that offers traditional and delicious dishes. The menu features authentic local specialties such as octopus salad, stuffed Savoy cabbage, and pissaladierie. The staff is warm and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. Guests have praised the well-cooked food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. From linguine with creamy mozzarella to brioche dessert, the meals are described as flavorful and satisfying.
Lovely find that we chanced upon while looking for a lunch spot. Tucked in a quieter alley off the main Place. Very homely, down to earth feel. Service was brisk and unpretentious. Could seem rough offhand but they were not, service lady was very helpful, and one of the chefs who spoke English came out to help with menus and translation. Seems like many patrons were familiar customers to the staff which was a good thing. Food felt very homely and local. Flavours were simple and good. Aioli was light with salted cod and variety of vegetables. Fish soup was so flavour-packed with anchovies, and a side saffron/potato paste for the toasted bread was amazing. Bouillabaisse with cod and potatoes was also amazing. Stewed soft with the soup not overpowering. Portions were generous. Deserts looked amazing from other patrons but we were too full to try any. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Grasse looking for a unique local food experience apart from the usual French/italian options.

This is a lovely traditional restaurant. We didn't notice any International dishes on the menu just good local food. The kind waitress used her best English and we used our awful French but we got food and wine. I had one of my favourites which is onions well cooked and served on bread with black olives (pissaladierie) followed by veal and potatoes pie. Both wonderful. There isn't much that when you have a glass of rose alongside isn't great.

Lovely ambience, soft-playing jazz music in the background. Food was delicious, delivers a warm homely feeling. We had the quiche as an appetizer. Our mains include beef and veal which were cooked very well. We finished off with just 1 dessert, the tiramisu as we were so full. Good to come when in Grasse!

We've had an excellent an inexpensive lunch here and I'd say this place is a must-go for Grasse. They have a small menu of local specialties which they seem to be experts on. Recommendations: Aioli - light fish with vegetables and properly done aioli sauce Aubergine - finally someone extracted the hidden taste of aubergine and carmelized tomato sauce. The chef clearly understands how to get to the natural tastes of vegetables and make them into tasty dishes - I share this philosophy. The restaurant itself has an indoor area in a small alley and a canteen vibe to it.

2 people. One fish and one aubergine Della nonna, one glass of wine and one bottle of a water. Good Aubergine, recommended as it's quite flavorful, the fish was a bit of a miss, nicely cooked but a bit bland. The wine is quite cheap, a glass just 3 eur! Good and friendly service. Total came at 54 euro.

Le Margoum is a fantastic dining spot in Grasse, offering a delightful mid-day menu on its terrace. The quality and price of the food are excellent, and the service is both attentive and professional. One must-try dish is the egg brick, a Tunisian specialty that stands out for its exceptional flavor. Additionally, the chicken couscous is highly recommended. Overall, Le Margoum comes highly recommended for visitors to Grasse looking for a memorable dining experience.
We had mid day menu on the terrace and 10/10. Quality/price ratio is very good and the service was attentive and professional. We ordered an egg brick (I believe it is a Tunisian speciality) that was specially good and the chicken cous cous is also worth mentioning. Will definitelly suggest this place for people visiting Grasse.

VITAL WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE! The food does not taste good. The salmon they put on the pizza was literally taken out from a salmon package from supermarket and thrown on the pizza just like that. The olives were the same story. Tasted terrible. The service was extremely slow, and since there’s only one person serving the whole restaurant, there has been a lot of mistakes in our order. The overall hygiene of the restaurant was another concerning point. The cutlery were served from a old, dirty yoghurt bucket. The toilets were dirty and moldy. 10/10 would avoid this place again.
Oğulcan D — Google review
The Service is below the ground. Extremely dirty tables. They bring water and no glasses. They bring the food but no cutleries. We asked 3 times for cutlery and the waiter getting upset we asked again. The food is disgusting and really everything seems very unhygienic . Worst place in GRASSE.

A miserable culinary experience! Three of us ate salad, pizza and pasta. Actually, we couldn’t eat it. The pizza had come straight from the freezer, ditto the chunks of salmon on my salad and the pasta had no flavor at all. It was all totally inedible, we couldn’t wait to get out of there!
Virginia S — Google review
We had a quick stop in this place and food wise is quite simple and straight forward. If you are expecting higher quality, move elsewhere. Overall service wasn't very good but the old gentlemen was really a polite and respectful person who unfortunately will suffer from the poor reputation that the people who are working there are giving to the place. Hopefully things will change Pizza with aubergine was very nice though. Thank you.

Le Cabanon de l'Ecailler is a renowned seafood restaurant located at 321 Route de Cannes. It has received high praise for its specialization in fresh seafood and fish dishes. The establishment has been consistently recognized for its excellence, winning the Certificate of Excellence from 2015 to 2018. Customers have commended the restaurant for its top-quality and flavorful seafood offerings, as well as its pleasant and attentive service.
Just had dinner with my family at this great little restaurant. The food, desserts and wine were delicious however, I need to give a special mention to the angel who served us. I didn’t catch her name but it was a pleasure for us to be served by the girl with the short hair. Always super smiley with a genuinely friendly and warm personality, a real asset to this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening! I highly recommend this place to all sea food enthusiasts.
Jon C — Google review
I made a beeline for this place based on a local recommendation, the reviews, and my burning desire for a lovely roasted sea bream. I had been daydreaming of this fish for 3 days, so just imagine the anticipation! I was however unpleasantly surprised to find myself slapped with a bill of €76 for a 500g fish! This was accompanied by average-tasting black rice and overcooked roast veg. I have eaten in Michelin starred establishments and, in comparison, the price for this fish blew my mind. The restaurant itself is attached to a fishmonger in the middle of a large car park, so I'm clearly not paying for the ambience. As to service? Moyen. Not a criticism of the staff, but there seemed to be too few personnel to pay attention to clients. Long wait for cutlery, for the bill, to pay the bill, to get a glass of water etc etc. (I'm writing this review during my interminable wait to pay...kill time, shall we?) Let's be clear, I enjoyed the fish itself. But there's no way that this bill justifies the food or overall experience. Epilogue : In the end I had finished writing this review and was still waiting, so I had to go look for the waiter LOL! They were quite friendly, though. Can't all be bad

We had a great time here for lunch — everything from the food to the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our dishes arrived quickly and beautifully prepared. We ordered the kids’ menu (grilled salmon with fries), and it was surprisingly impressive — the salmon was perfectly grilled with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. Among the adults, the rockfish soup was the star of the table — rich, flavorful, and comforting. The raw shrimp and oysters were incredibly fresh, and the linguine vongole was delicious, with tender clams and well-balanced seasoning. A wonderful spot for a relaxed and satisfying seafood lunch. Highly recommended!

After some careful googling and reading of reviews after the confinement, we decided to create and order our seafood platter online instead of eating out. We arrived 10 mins earlier than the collection time to see that our platter being prepared. The quality of the seafood was really fresh, except for the mini lobster (langoustine) whose heads were slighly darkened but it wasn’t so much of a problem for us. The price of the platter was reasonable as well, contrary to other previous reviews which we read. We have enjoyed our platter and will definitely be ordering or dining in your restaurant the next time round 👍🏻

I need to explain this rating. The food was delicious, fresh fish cooked very well. That's where the positive ends. The negatives, the service was not good, one main course came when the other three were finished with theirs, and they were trying to eat slowly! No explanation, no apology. And it was hot... we left the table all drenched in sweat!. We knew this would be an expensive meal and the food itself justified the price, but the rest did not! We left feeling cheated!

We were looking for a quick bite to eat and happened upon this place. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional! We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the sunny day and our server was totally accommodating, as they weren't really seating at the outside tables. I had the moules frites espagnole.... What a wonderful take on the dish; Sooooo delicious. Highly recommend this spot.

After reading the comments , I have a feeling that we were super unlucky tonight. Fries were completely burned, greasy - uneatable. Muscles were ok, but tiny. Baguette wasn’t fresh, cold and chewy ( seriously, we are in France!). Octopus was tasteless and full of oil, rice was full of oil or butter, I am not sure. We left hungry, disappointed and wasted 50€ on our dinner. Only positive note, waitress was helpful and friendly, helping us translate the manure.

Nothing really special, except the excellent foie gras. Just solid food, well prepared and cheerfully presented.

Great location. Great service and fun casual vibe. I had the Italian steak Tartare. Soooo good. My wife had the duck breast. Very happy overall.

Amazing food, specially the curry mussels. You must try it 👍🏻

Stopped here for lunch while cycling. Food was good, the Caesar salad dressing was very flavourful. The salad included chicken and a poached egg making it a filling lunch. Bread was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Grasse. A shout out to the hard working staff. There were a lot of diners and they really hustled.

Horrible experience. We were literally kicked out because we arrived with two small children. The waitress said they could bother the neighboring table (which was empty at our arrival). One of the most bizarre restaurant visits in my life.

The pizza restaurant Pizza Chez Ange serves up some of the best pies in Grasse. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is perfect for anyone looking for a quick bite. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and are reasonably priced, making it a great choice for lunch or dinner.
At first glance a very inconspicuous restaurant but top class pizza in a wonderful side street atmosphere. Very nice owner who thinks along with you, for example by omitting the olives from the children's pizza. Absolutely recommended.

BEST pizza it was so good and the owner is so nice and friendly! Definitely recommend going here for a good priced pizza after a long day of walking. It’s always placed right by the market which makes it so pretty to sit at.

History Museums
The Provence Art and History Museum, also known as the Fragonard Museum, is housed in the former Cabris Mansion, offering a glimpse into 18th-century life in Grasse. The museum showcases the preserved rooms of the mansion from when it was inhabited by the Marquise de Clapiers-Cabris. Additionally, visitors can explore various collections of furniture, paintings, and collectibles on different floors.
A non-busy museum you can opt in for a photo shoot. Don’t expect anything spectacular here. It gives an “easygoing” vibe, especially the garden. A relaxing visit.
Tuấn P — Google review
A small museum with a collection of antiques from Provence. This is the former home of Louise de Mirabeau. I had read about her rather tragic life and unhappy marriage to the Marquis de Cabris, so to me this place was very interesting to see. The gardens are small but lovely and relaxing. There wasn’t a great deal of information inside the house about the antiques or the art but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It’s a fascinating slice of history and a nice place to spend time.

(Translated by Google) The Museum of Art and History of Provence, formerly known as the Fragonard Museum, is immense. It is housed in an old residence, comprising a ground floor, an upper floor, a garden level, and a garden. Everything is open to the public. The ground floor features numerous decors, those of the apartments of the Marquis de Clapiers-Cabris. The furniture and art are reminiscent of the Ancien Régime. The first floor houses a temporary exhibition. On the garden level, there are several rooms with porcelain, the art of oil extraction, wheat cultivation, and more. The garden is sublime, full of flowers and a pretty path. This is where we glimpse the front of the residence. I highly recommend it. In addition, the welcome is very warm. Perfume store
Gift shop
Parfums Galimard, boutique has a rich history dating back to the 1500s when Queen Catherine de Medici received scented gloves from a local tanner in Grasse. Visitors have had very positive experiences at the boutique, praising the quality of products such as soaps and fragrant candles. The shop assistants are described as friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being pushy. Guests also recommend trying out the perfume workshop during their visit for a truly terrific experience.
If you love perfumes, this is the place to be. Whether you’re looking for a special gift or simply want to treat yourself, you’ll find a wide variety of fragrances, home scents, and soaps here

Margeux was a wonderful sales assistant who knew her job and had great customer service skills.Nothing was too much trouble for her. We bought a few perfumes and soaps. We were made to feel very welcome. Margeux is a great asset to the Galimard brand with her customer service skills and her ability to speak several languages. She is a great ambassador for the Galimard Company. We would recommend a visit to the shop. Update: Visited 10/09/2025. We decided to visit this shop again this year as we were so happy with the service that we have received in previous years ( from Margeux). We had a budget of up to 500€ and we were quite prepared to spend it once again in our favourite perfumerie but what a terrible disappointment. Margeux had gone along with the welcoming smile and professional air of helpfulness. Unfortunately we were greeted with a cold hard stare and an apparent total distane at our presence on the hallowed ground of Gallimard. We were made to feel both unwelcome and unworthy, such a terrible shame as the sales assistant had completely ruined some of the happiest memories we had of visiting this beautiful town. It's such a pity as Gallimard has probably lost our custom forever. As I really dislike giving bad reviews I would like to finish on a positive note by saying that after we left Gallimard we walked a little further through this beautiful town to "Mollinard" where we received the warmest of welcomes and an incredible knowledge of the perfume industry on both a professional and human level. It was the first time that we had visited this rather famous perfumerie but most certainly will not be the last, and yes we did make a mess of our budget but we were more than happy and consider it a relatively inexpensive way of rebuilding happy memories.

I was so overwhelmed by this beautiful store and all the products, that I needed help and I couldn’t have been happier to meet Seda! She is incredible, not just someone selling you something, but giving you a lesson on Parfums whiles doing it AND making you feel like the most special customer on earth. I never had such a positive experience and when I took out my Parfum this morning, I remembered this experience in this store with Seda and just had to smile for the rest of the day! Definitely worth a visit and the best shop to get GOODIES for your loved ones! 💜

Shop well situated near to the old town. Parking was easy in the multi storey underground car park opposite. Perfume can be a little expensive but you only visit the perfume capital of the world once so a must to treat yourself. Would highly recommend.

Our experience purchasing perfume at the Galimard boutique was wonderful. Amelie assisted us with everything, from selecting the perfume to gift wrapping, and she even quickly handled the tax refund paperwork. Thank you so much, Amelie, for your highly professional and friendly service. :)
HAPPYOU C — Google review
Horrible customer service, i have never had an experience as terrible as dealing with Galimard. My husband got me a voucher but we could not redeem it- they insisted we need to redeem it by actually attending a perfume workshop that needs to be booked well in advance due to their busy schedule . As we do not live in the area and only visit as tourists, this caught us by surprise and we asked for a refund or to buy perfumes instead - they declined. Zero flexibility combined with rude service. The voucher expired and our money was gone. Stay away at all costs. Update after owner’s response: in reality, a gift voucher was cashed in by Galimard without any services rendered. Reputable companies would never treat customers this way especially after several early attempts and calls with your management to fix the issue.
Diva A — Google review
Very nice experience, quality products. Loved Galimard soaps and fragrant candles; friendly and very knowledgeable shop assistant. She gave us a lot of time and attention and we didn’t feel we were pushed to buy something.
Elena W — Google review
Of all the perfume boutiques in Grasse, I had the most fun here, thanks to the wonderfully friendly and passionate store assistant. She explained to me about Galimard and the philosophy behind the formulations, which I found fascinating. I’ve discovered new fragrances and had a wonderful time talking to a fellow perfume lover. The quality of the fragrances are great. I love that everything is available in three different concentrations: Parfum, Eau de Parfum, and Eau de Toilette. Thank you for the wonderful afternoon. I will truly enjoy my new perfumes!

Wonderful !! The domaine displays not only Lancome's unmatched competence as a fragrance producer and luxury brand but also it's commitment to the industry's heritage, to France's deep cultural roots, to the Grasse heritage and to a modern version of "from farm to flacon". The professional and charming team in the Domaine really seems to love its profession and the vision that goes with it. The hour we've spent there could have easily been expanded without boring us a minute. We've learned a lot and took quite some inspiration with us ... thanks a million.

Le Danielli is a hidden gem in Grass, offering a rare fusion of Corsican and Lebanese cuisine. Tucked away from the crowded paths, this centrally located restaurant boasts extremely friendly service and a delightful dining experience for families. While some found the food to be just okay and slightly pricey, others raved about the Royal plate, which is ample for two people. The daily specials are also recommended as a safe choice.
Royal plate is amazing. It’s enough for two. The daily specials are always a safe bet.

Despite its perfume charm Grass is not famous for dining spots. All those with good rating that i’ve been to could be considered just as medicore. That is why i was very happy to discover this place (central location, while not on the crowded path). A rare combination of Corsican and Lebanese cuisine multiplied by extremely friendly service makes this place a total success. My family was delighted! so i suggest you give it a try too

I came here for dinner tonight and it was the best food and friendliest service I’ve had in all of France, including restaurants recommended by celebrity chefs!!! I had the chwarma, and the baba ganouj and hummus were the best I’ve ever had. Great flavours and textures! Very impressed!

Very unfriendly personnel. Especially towards children. The food is ok but very little for the price you pay. They don't have a toilet neither in the restaurant. Just one in the kitchen, but then you face an angry cook if you ask if your kid can use it... Use at your own risk. :-)

Terrible experience avoid if possible. Very aggresive personel and food was just awful. Small portions and warmed up in microwave from days before. Rotten lettuce in salad (when complained they answered: not fresh for you but fresh for others). Toilet is in kitchen so plenty of guests are passing by kitchen to toilet and wash hands in kitchen sink. Definitely it is not good for keeping up sanitary standards. Awoid if possible

Never again. Dirty plates, pizza is drowning in unbaked cheese, many vongoles were closed and bad, olives were so salty and out of date, the order was not correct. The place is beautiful. Low price but it was a bad experience.
Agata T — Google review
Very disappointing food. Pizza special was not cooked properly…and had way too much cheese. Greek salad looked nothing like what was represented on menu. How can a pizza and salad be so poor?? The lady that serviced us was very good and quick. Shame about the food!! Should have read past reviews!!!
John M — Google review
Initially we were served quite quickly and the young boy who greeted us seemed friendly. Food arrived in good time, average food nothing special and was definitely over priced. However, what we were most disgusted with was the attitude of the young female waitress who was extremely rude from start to finish. We asked for the bill (in French) she acted like she did not understand, then when my partner said it she said okay. She the did not return but repeatedly walked past us just ignoring we had asked. I then got fed up of waiting and went into the food prep area and asked to pay to another older lady, who pointed in the waitresses direction, to which she marched past me and snatched the €50 out of my hand and walked off round to the bar area. I obviously followed, she then came to me and my partner and gave us the bill and €30 trying to say we owed money!! I gave €50 the bill was €44! She then proceeded to act like she did not understand. My partner spoke to who we think may have been the manager who asked what we gave, he seemed helpful and gave us the change. All I can say is I believe she stole €20 and thought that we would not know or understand. Rude, and not trust worthy! Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Not recommended

Changed from 5 star for service to 2 We wanted to pay, but the waiter rather talked with a table for, I kid you not, for 30 minutes. Eventually walked up to him in order to pay. Waitress was very kind & helpfull, deserves 5 stars. Food was good.
Niek O — Google review
Would give 0 stars if I would. Horrible food, horrible staff, and very overpriced in general. There was also an insane wait time. 1. The food was horrible and indefinitely not worth the price, it’s basically a tourist trapper. 2. Only one poor old lady actually put in work and most of the customers that were there left because they weren’t even having their order take after 40 minutes. It’s a shame these kind of people get payed for nothing. 3. I can understand 6-8 euros for cocktails however 4 euros for a small can of soda is obsurd. The same cheese burger you can get at burger king for 10 euros was 20 euros here, and it is just horribly overpriced. 4. Delayed service. My friend who took a separate table had to wait 65 minutes to RECIEVE THE MENU, and ended up just leaving.
M D — Google review
Eating experience felt too rushed by the server. Food was 'just ok'.
John C — Google review
I hate giving out bad reviews but this is the only time I feel like I should. We waited 20 mins for 3 overpriced half pints. The owner was really nice but it didn’t make up for the fact that it was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Hopefully they improve their service in the future because It’s a great spot in grasse which is a beautiful town.
Hamish M — Google review
Do NOT eat here when visiting Grasse. We went here hoping to get some fresh pasta. We ordered 2 pasta dishes. The primavera was ok. The ravioli was horribly state, cold and tasteless. The pesto was without any flavor at all. Clearly was a made for a box or something. I’m sure there are better places to eat I. grasse.

Marie Blachère Boulangerie Sandwicherie Tarterie is a delightful spot that offers an impressive variety of baked goods and sandwiches. Visitors rave about the tasty baguette sandwiches, which are both delicious and reasonably priced, making it a fantastic value for money. The friendly staff enhances the experience with their attentive service. While there is some indoor seating available, adding more would elevate this charming establishment to perfection.
Totally awesome bakery with freshly made bread, dessert, and pizza. They will slice the bread there if you ask. I purchased croissants that I couldn't wait to get home to eat...buttery flakey delights...they melted in my mouth 😋Hint...There is a discount rack (at least in the afternoon when I went) near the end of the counter.

The staff is friendly and provides fast delivery service. While some feel that certain pizzas could have more toppings, overall the quality and taste are highly praised.

Accrobranche Riviera Nature Grasse is a forest park offering zip lines and tree-top rope courses for both adults and kids, with stunning views of the Riviera. Visitors can enjoy a variety of courses suitable for different levels, providing an excellent view of the valley. The friendly staff ensures a great experience, although it's advisable to bring cash as only cash payment is accepted.
Honestly a completely unique experience. I have been to many accribranche places and I have never been so physically challenged so props to the course designers. The only problem I had were the kids on the red route who got stuck on the red route and needed the staff and my help to get them safely to the ground. But I understand that they were recommended not to do it. So my only advice is to be stricter on sending kids to certain routes and maybe get some longer ladders.
David M — Google review
The site is very attractive, nice view on the valley. However, I found the staff lacking, giving harness too small to adults, you had to change yourself to the right height. This is the first I find many things wrong with a Go Ape course. First, there is no staff around the circuit to help, so you can get stuck and wait forever to get through. Then, the circuit are not safe. I had many scratches from branches or bolts. I never realised that it takes due care and consideration to make an enjoyable experience. I didn’t enjoy my experience and would not go back

Wedding venue
Château Saint Georges, located in Grasse Côte d'Azur, is a stunning wedding venue with breathtaking views of the French Riviera. Situated on top of a hill overlooking the perfume city of Grasse, it offers a romantic and luxurious setting for small, intimate international weddings. The chateau's gold and white decorations exude an old-world charm that adds to its allure.
Review for Our Wedding Venue, Chateau Saint Georges The location of Chateau Saint Georges is stunning, perched on the hills of Grasse overlooking the French Riviera. The premises are filled with green gardens, unbelievable architecture, and unforgettable views. The chateau truly has the glamour of Versailles, which is where our immediate family stayed and where our wedding was hosted. The on-site villa, with its art deco look, was perfect housing for our closest wedding guest friends. The owners were kind and welcoming, making us feel at home and even gifting us at the start of the festivities. We are grateful for them opening up this historic, beautiful site to us. Our onsite host and coordinator, Anaïs, was nothing short of amazing. She aided in every detail of the wedding, bringing us world-class vendors and keeping everything orderly and organized. Her coordination, communication, and execution were flawless. One notable vendor in particular was the caterer, Ruth Williams. I wanted our guests to have a true high-end French dining experience, and she executed it perfectly. The food was phenomenal, and we're still receiving compliments about how incredible the food and service were. Ruth handled herself with grace, provided honest guidance throughout the process, and had a smile on her face from the time we met for the tasting through the entire day of our wedding. Another hired vendor to note was Sweet Peas & Peonies, who executed my vision of almost overflowing natural beauty with various flower enhancements and arrangements. It was exquisite. I didn’t get a chance to thank her for her fine work, as she was swiftly in and out with the decorations. The whole weekend experience exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, unforgettable, and simply perfect. It felt like the wedding of a lifetime, and we were told it was the wedding of the century!

I had the incredible opportunity to stay at Château Saint Georges for three nights while filming a styled wedding shoot, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. As a wedding videographer with Sky Story Films, I’ve worked at many stunning venues, but Château Saint Georges truly stands out. Located in the scenic French Riviera, the Château is a dream location for a destination wedding. Its picturesque architecture, beautiful gardens, and breathtaking views create a romantic and idyllic atmosphere that any couple would fall in love with. Every corner of the property is beautifully maintained and feels like a fairytale setting, perfect for capturing timeless moments on film. I even had the opportunity to dine with the owner and found her to be so warm and welcoming. From the elegant interiors to the serene outdoor spaces, the venue offers endless opportunities for creativity, making it a videographer’s paradise. I highly recommend Château Saint Georges for couples looking for a luxurious and memorable wedding experience. It’s the perfect blend of charm, elegance, and natural beauty, and I can’t wait to return for future projects!
Brittany S — Google review
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several weddings at Château Saint-Georges, and each experience has been truly exceptional. The venue itself is breathtaking — elegant gardens, luminous interiors, and stunning views make it an unforgettable setting for refined celebrations. But what truly stands out is the team: attentive, kind, and incredibly professional. They anticipate every detail and ensure everything runs smoothly, not only for the couple but also for all vendors involved. As a photographer, it’s an absolute joy to work in such a well-organized and welcoming environment. Château Saint-Georges remains one of my favorite venues in France to capture timeless, elegant, and emotional wedding stories.
Thomas R — Google review
Located in the French Riviera is this gem, one of a kind chateau that truly is a charmer and one of the most beautiful venues I have photographed at and stayed at. Most of the rooms have a great view of the town where you can see for miles. The staff were top notch and provided such incredible catering and customer service. When it comes to the wedding, there are endless opportunities. A gazebo, courtyard, upstairs patio for cocktail hour, plus indoor reception area for those chilly nights where you want your reception indoors. When you invest in Saint George, you are investing a one-of-a-kind experience for your wedding and event. You will not be disappointed!

Nicknamed the little Versailles of the Cote d'Azur, Chateau Saint Georges is an incredible place with breathtaking views of the bay of Cannes. The perfect venue for a destination wedding in the south of France.
Jeremie H — Google review
Chateau Saint Georges is one of the most breathtaking locations in the French Riveria for weddings. We hosted a 4 day retreat here for wedding photographers with some of the world's top wedding vendors involved. The service was beyond what I could have expected (and as a wedding planner, my expectations are high) :-) The location was conveniently located, the facilities within the chateau were incredible and the team there was beyond attentive to every need. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough!
Amanda V — Google review
If you want an unforgettable experience in France, this Chateau is the perfect stay. The Chateau offers anything you could want, and is truly one-of-a-kind. To take your experience to the next level, I highly recommend hiring the private chef, Ruth, and the butler, Alan. These two really made our stay, and I can't imagine our time at the Chateau without them. The host was gracious, hospitable, and very easy to work with.
Evan G — Google review
My wife, myself and 32 of our closest family and friends rented this venue for a 4 hr wedding renewal of vows 09/2017. We, and all of our guests, had an absolutely wonderful time. The building is beautiful. The views from the property are also superb, overlooking the hills and city of Grasse. The food the Chateau prepared for us was fantastic! So very good! I'm terribly sorry I forgot her name, but the woman with whom we coordinated everything with was very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic event.

Step into the past at Musée Provençal du Costume et du Bijou, a charming museum that offers a glimpse into 18th-century regional fashion and jewelry. The collection includes beautifully preserved costumes, ornate jewelry, and an exhibition of elegant dresses from the era. While all information is in French and accessibility for handicapped individuals may be limited, the museum provides a delightful experience for those interested in Provencal history.
Very nice and cozy museum with the free entrance. You can get more interesting details about Provance costumes and jewellery. There is a great shop on the same building with lots of perfumes, candies, cosmetics.

Small but free museum. Nice to pop into to cool off when it’s hot outside.
Marissa T — Google review
A beautiful little museum right in the heart of Grasse. Musée Provençal du Costume et du Bijou is like a quiet step back in time, elegant rooms filled with traditional dresses, lace, and jewellery that tell the story of Provence’s past. Everything is displayed with such care, and the building itself is charming. It’s not big, but it’s full of soul. A lovely stop after visiting the Fragonard Parfumerie next door.
KolinMan — Google review
Free! All in French but a lovely building and interesting to see. They have perfume filter lamps. Very cool.
Nettie A — Google review
Take a quick free tour in this museum. There are mainly costumes of the period when perfumes were particularly popular in 18 and 19th centuries.
Ablay G — Google review
Nice small (and most notably) free museum about jewelry and fashion in the area around Grasse. Has a nice collection of beautiful jewelry, an exhibition of robes and dresses (mostly female fashion) above the shop on ground level. No easy access for handicapped people and all texts inclusively in French, if you can't read french, it's still a very nice place to go and have a look.

The Tourist Train Grasse offers a delightful and effortless way to explore the charming old town of Grasse, known as the perfume capital of the world. This half-hour journey takes you through narrow streets filled with rich history and stunning architecture, all while enjoying informative audio commentary available in multiple languages. The friendly driver skillfully navigates the winding paths, ensuring a smooth ride even during hot weather.
We enjoyed the tour of the little tourist train a lot! The train was packed with tourists. Note that the first two cars are French only, the cars behind offer additional languages. The driver was a friendly and funny guy. Impressive how he navigated through narrow roads in Grasse! During the tour, the history of Grasse is explained in detail from an automated recording. We paid 22 Euro for 2 adults and 2 kids, fair price for what you get.
Claudio K — Google review
Grasse is a small and beautiful town. It transforms you into medieval times. Never miss this ride even though the driver was racist. Even though we were first to reach yet he allowed others to sit in front saying a lame reason about English recording which later we checked was false. This is a place not to be missed when planning a trip to French Riviera. ..
Jasdeep S — Google review
It was a great train and fairly affordable for a family of four. The conductor was kind and friendly. I wish the ride was longer or that it had the option to stop and come off. Overall it was a great experience and a great way to see the town of Grasse as opposed to walking the whole time.

This French restaurant is a jewel, with delicious food and great cooking. The portion size is generous, and the lunch menu value is good. The space is also very nice, with lovely decorations in a stone cave. Excellent service is provided by Bahri, who makes diners feel welcome and at ease. The meal was exquisite, making La Fleur de Lys one of the best restaurants in Grasse by far.
Really great restaurant in Grasse. Very fresh and delicious food and excellent wines. The service is also really great. I ate here twice and both times I was so pleased. The restaurant is also really charming. Highly recommend.

The worst restaurant ever. I don't know who is writing those amazing reviews. 🙄 The only good thing was cold white wine. 🍷 We found this restaurant on Google Map with the top reviews. 🧐 The first thing I saw - dirty terrace. The restaurant inside from the first view is nice. The serving Lady was very kind as well. 😊 She however said that the menu is reduced and we can choose as a starter only beef tartar. So we ordered one.. 🥩 I realized that somehow the kitchen doesn't look very tidy and the cook was dressed in a tshirt and shorts as he was comming right from the beach. 🏖️ No cook clothes. 😱 When we received the beef tartar 1. It looked very unattractive 2. The meet was warm.. I felt like it was too warm given that outside was +40C 🥵 3 when I tried i couldn't swallow because of a terrible smell. I went to the toilet and I spit all out. 🚽 We paid for tartar and left it untouched. 💸 Never ever again. 🙅‍♀️ #WORSTrestaurant #FoodFail #AvoidThisPlace

A truly special lunch experience. We absolutely loved our meal here—from the thoughtful menu to the warm, genuine hospitality. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The fish of the day, a perfectly prepared loup (sea bass), was absolutely delicious and paired wonderfully with a crisp, elegant white wine (Domaine de Jale). The vegetarian cannelloni, filled with seasonal vegetables and finished with a rich sauce and shaved cheese, was another highlight—balanced, comforting, and full of flavor. What made this lunch especially memorable was the passion of the person who served us, who also runs the restaurant. It’s always such a delight to be welcomed by someone who truly cares about the food they offer and the experience they create. Wonderful chef, beautiful food, and heartfelt service. We can’t wait to return.

We've chanced upon this unassuming place by searching on Google the "Best restaurant in Grasse". Fortunately, I dare say it held true to it's words. It was probably the best meal we've had during my two-weeks trip in the South of France. Highlights: Burrata salad - I don't usually eat salad but if you were to give me this again, there would be no hesitation to wipe this plate clean. Chicken curry rice - I would usually prefer strong curry flavours that packed a punch. Though having a more subtle fragrance, the flavour did linger in my mouth for quite a bit especially when the rice have soaked the curry up. I would die to have this again. The ambience was top-notch as well. Well spaced out to have a good private conversation. Overall, an excellent find!

We found this restaurant thanks to Google map😊. We were there for dinner and we liked it very much. A friend of us cannot eat gluten, the staff was amazing suggesting dish suitable for her. The menu is not long but they have vegetarian options, fish and meat….the quality is very good.

Very happy with the discovery of this restaurant in the town of Grasse. The place is tastefully decorated. Service was great and friendly. People there are clearly passionate about what they do and that translate also in the plate. Food is fresh and clearly homemade with quality products. Restaurant
Le New Punjab is an absolutely splendid establishment that offers a wide range of delectable Indian cuisine. It boasts an exceptional array of dishes and provides excellent service with impeccable presentation. The restaurant also accommodates takeaway orders, delivering to select locations. According to a long-time resident, it stands out as the finest Indian restaurant along the Cote d'Azure. While it may be on the pricier side, its authenticity in capturing the flavors of India is unparalleled.
Nice Indian restaurant in Grasse France. Good food. Charming staff. Clean restroom. Very reasonable prices. More than adequate choice of drinks. Pleasant dining room. Had a very enjoyable meal there today. Absolutely recommended.

Very terrible experience. Choked on their food with no water served. Food was half cooked, suffered a severe stomach discomfort and indigestion after consuming their food. Very money minded owners. Bill is also verbally communicated. Unfortunately the only option for Indian food on that area if you’re desperate for Indian food. Else stay away, we are definitely not returning.
