Polygone Riviera is a chic and stylish open-air shopping center in France, offering an exceptional retail experience with a wide range of brand-name shops, diverse dining options, and a movie theater. Spanning over 70,000 square meters, it features a unique lifestyle mall concept that combines shopping, leisure activities, and food outlets. The layout is well-designed with pleasant outdoor seating areas, beautiful artwork, and a dedicated kids' area.
Very nice place, full of restaurants, shops and kids‘ areas. Beautiful visiting place in good weather as a lot of its areas are outdoors.
Fatma H — Google review
Beautiful and nice outdoor shopping centre with great selection of shops. In some areas there is a glass roofed corridor and then trees in other areas so if it's raining I don't think it would be much trouble. You can also relax in a garden with running water, there is a big water fountain and lot's of nice places to eat and to sit down.
Hildur H — Google review
Its ok, descent mall. Not too big however so shops are somewhat limited. Food options are available and there is free parking for a couple hours. Also, the territory is kept clean and it is overall enjoyable to walk around.
Viktor V — Google review
A spectacular shopping, relaxing and strolling experience. The layout is fantastic, shops are magnificent and the entire experience leaves you wanting to come back time and again. Security staff are engaging and courteous, parking is a pleasure, rest rooms are like day spas, and there are plenty of quality eat and drink oasis points to break up the shopping or browsing. Why can’t more shopping spaces be like this? Outstanding urban planning. A must do if you are in the area.

8/10 i love to go here when the weather is nice , and within summer . but again. they should keep the name! as polygon .. way more catchy. could be doing better with adding more french , local stall. Especially for the souvenir shops.

Big (by European standards) outdoor mall with a decent variety of stores. The food is a bit disappointing with most places ranking below four stars on maps. Good place to do some shopping on a less sunny day but be warned that there is little cover if it rains so take an umbrella if on the fence.
Yannick R — Google review
We enjoyed the mall, very green and fresh air, a lot of stores . Primark is there and my family loved it with great price! My daughter really enjoyed the playground, a must for kids when you are there ehehe
Eykman S — Google review
Beautiful mall with a great landscaping, very well done! It's a real pleasure to walk across the different sections of the mall, especially the outside area between the shops and restaurants. It reminds me of some malls I've seen in the USA, but here there's some additional beautiful landscaping. Different parkings are available, but not very well indicated from the streets. Access to parking and signalisation could be improved.

Hipodromme de la Cotê d’azur

Racecourse
Nestled in the stunning landscape of Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Hippodrome is a vibrant racecourse that hosts around 80 events throughout the year, including thrilling evening horse races and trotting competitions. The venue's picturesque location near a beautiful pebble beach adds to its charm, making it an ideal spot for both equestrian enthusiasts and beach lovers alike. During my visit, I was delighted to stumble upon a captivating showjumping event at the Hippodrome.
We stumbled upon a showjumping event being held at the Hippodrome. We love horses so enjoyed an afternoon watching the competition. It's a lovely setting right by the sea and with mountains in the background. Beautiful!
Louise D — Google review
I didn’t go to this place just for the horse races. That day, there was also an amazing show with actors and fireworks! Whoa what an incredible experience. The show was stunning: dancing wolf puppets and people moving around them it was pure beauty. It felt special and epic. Later that night, there was a huge fireworks display that lasted around 15 minutes. Absolutely breathtaking. What an amazing day!
Daniil K — Google review
Rather disorganized for major area animal show. Glad we arrive late morning by noonish entry line to pay and for security was ridiculously long. Also no taxi rank for those without cars so it took over hour plus DOUBLE the price to get home than to get there. Never will go again and do not recommend.
Sara M — Google review
Walked to the venue for a motorbike show. The entrance was a little confusing using our phone satnav. Use the main entrance. Enjoyed my time there. Well laid out on the day.
Carolyn B — Google review
The website didn't have the times that the races would start, so I emailed asking when the first race would be. I received an email back saying that the first race would begin at 7:15 all through July, when I arrive at the Hippodrome I learn that they do not, infact, start until 8:30. The entire place was rather dirty and not well upkept, many things were broken, and there was an incredible lack of signs about where to go. Just getting into the Hippodrome was more work than it should've been, there is no pedestrian entrance or even a sidewalk for most of the nearly mile long walk from the only gate to the viewing stands, so even though it is inside of a city you are incredibly inconvenienced if you aren't taking a car there.
Alexanderyou — Google review
Lovely friendly race course. Good facilities, excellent prices. Beautiful setting. Thoroughly recommend.

Plage des Galets

Public beach
Plage des Galets is a unique beach known for its stony landscape and tranquil atmosphere. It's part of a collection of diverse beaches in the area, each with its own distinct features. Plage du Port du Cros offers stunning sunset views and tends to be less crowded, while Plage du Loup has a mix of sand and stones.
We spent a relaxing afternoon at Plage des Galets in Cagnes-sur-Mer at the end of May. The beach was surprisingly quiet, with just a handful of people soaking up the sun on the pebbles. Unlike most beaches here, Plage des Galets has no sand, which was a bit unexpected! The strong sun made it feel much warmer than the actual temperature, which was around 17°C. Luckily, there are free public restrooms and a water fountain along the promenade, which were lifesavers! Overall, a great spot for a peaceful afternoon by the water.

A nice pebble beach with warm water, barely any waves ( so great for our 1 and 4 year olds), toilets and showers. Simple and good.

Art Museums
Musée Renoir, located in Cagnes-sur-Mer, was the home of the renowned Impressionist master Auguste Renoir until his passing in 1919. This Neo-Provencal house offers a glimpse into the artist's final years, featuring his drawing room, bedroom, and atelier complete with easel and brushes. The museum also showcases several of Renoir's works and provides insight into his life and family.
Very interesting museum. It was amazing to see the house where Renoir spent the last years of his life. We also liked to get to know a little more about his closest family. The garden with its enormous olive trees was fantastic 🤩 Be aware that it's closed on Tuesdays.
Anni L — Google review
Biked here from camping val de fleurie. Not too bad of a cycle a couple of steep hills. The last one which leads to Renoir's house, we had to get off the bikes. Small museum actually free on the last sunday of the month, rather that €6 each which was great. A shame not many of Renoirs painting here but the information which was given in English also was good. Learnt a little about his life which i did not already know.
Sarah H — Google review
Wonderful house and gardens. The most beauty here is outside of the house. The atmosphere and gardens and little farm house are so inspirational. Interiour is not what I would expect as its more of a collection of various collectors objects and museums, but still very worth the visit.
Andrea B — Google review
The views from upstairs are gorgeous and expansive. The home/museum shut down between 1-2 which we were unaware of before we arrived so we needed to rush just a slight bit, but the grounds remain open during that time frame so we were still able to appreciate the exterior and the grounds after we finished the house tour and the basement area. The presentation of artwork is done in a way that I appreciate and the grounds were well maintained. Parking is a small lot but it was easy to get into and out of. The staff in the entry building friendly and helpful. I'm very glad we went and took our 12 year old to share in this experience.
Ashlee M — Google review
I love to come here everytime I'm in Cagnes. The museum is well structured and guides the visitors in Renoir's life with plentiful of details. The collection is rich - not only Renoir's paintings, but also some from other minor Impressionist painters. The view and the garden is lovely.
L B — Google review
Wonderful former home of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). The museum contains sculptures and paintings by Renoir. As well as a big farm house with various trees and flowers including lemon and olive trees. I feel the quietness and inspiration that Renoir had at this place. I fell in love with the house and property of 1900s. The house full of memories and art. Don’t miss this amazing museum.
Ahlam A — Google review
Visiting the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer was an unforgettable experience—deeply atmospheric, intimate, and steeped in both artistic heritage and natural beauty. Nestled among centuries-old olive trees, the museum is set in the heart of the Domaine des Collettes, where Pierre-Auguste Renoir chose to settle in the final years of his life. It was during a journey to Italy that Renoir first passed through this part of the French Riviera, and he was so captivated by the luminosity, landscape, and serenity of the area that he returned and made it his home. The views across the hills to the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes are just as breathtaking today as they must have been in Renoir’s time. There are 15 paintings by Renoir on display here, as well as 40 sculptures. Highlights include Les grandes baigneuses, Coco reading, La Ferme and La vallée de la Cagne; and elegant portraits from Les Caryatides to Madame Pichon, each reflecting the artist’s mastery of light and form. Stepping into the villa is like entering Renoir’s world. The kitchen, tiled bathroom, and sunlit rooms remain much as they were, while his easel, brushes, and armchair make his presence almost tangible. This was also a place of lively exchange, welcoming Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Amedeo Modigliani, and Pablo Picasso. Outside, olive trees cast their shade and birdsong drifts through the stillness. Even on my overcast visit, the beauty was unmistakable—but I long to return on a sunny day, to see the gardens bathed in the dappled light Renoir loved to paint.
Louise W — Google review
There aren't many paintings on display—the main draw is really the opportunity to see where Renoir lived and to soak in the ambiance of the property. I found the garden leading to La Ferme especially tranquil and pretty.

The reviews for JOE & THE JUICE in South France are varied, with some praising the service, coffee, and modern atmosphere. The staff is described as friendly and the overall experience is rated highly. The menu offers a variety of delicious coffees, juices, and sandwiches on rye bread. However, it seems that not all dietary preferences are catered to as there are limited options for vegans or those needing gluten-free choices.
🔝Amazing Me and my friends came here several times and their smoothies are really delicious. Although the price is a little bit higher than usual, the atmosphere makes up for it. I also like the music they play in here, quite a bit, it’s very chill and relaxing.

Large. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very good customer service. Most of the time when trying to sit outside the tables are filthy and there’s cups everywhere. No one has cleaned.
Mark A — Google review
We've been coming here over the years and sadly, the quality of the drinks has been declining and the prices escalating. Joe's green mile juice consists of mainly apple juice and token greens for the colour. The real drawback to this place though, filthy floor of the terrace. It is full of stains, spilled drinks and cigarette butts. Eeewwww😣😖😫 A total disgrace.
Laurent C — Google review
There is delicious coffee and juices here. A nice place to rest for a while and enjoy conversation and drinks. As always, I wanted to have vegan sandwiches, ideally if they were gluten-free, but that's the way it is, not everyone needs it.

Went there recently with a friend, have been going from time to time, to Joe's Juice for years! We both commented how the order was different, not toasted as before and more expensive! The food kept falling out on the floor, didn't taste the same either! What a great pity, has changed our minds now about visiting Joe's juice, in the future! 😔
Helene' — Google review
It's truly unfortunate that this place possesses so much potential, but its downfall lies in the abhorrent lack of cleanliness that pervades the entire store. Walking into the establishment, you're immediately hit with a wave of disgust as you navigate through the unsightly trash scattered around the store. Even the seating area outside, meant for relaxation, is rendered uninviting due to the appalling mess that surrounds the chairs. The sight of the filth is enough to diminish any appetite you might have had. It's bewildering that the management seems to have turned a blind eye to the basic hygiene standards required in a dining establishment. The sofas, intended for patrons to enjoy their meals in comfort, are instead stained and unhygienic, completely negating any sense of coziness. Venturing inside, the situation doesn't get any better. Stains mar every surface, leaving an unsettling impression of neglect and carelessness. What's more disheartening is the indifference displayed by the staff and the cafe's management. It's almost as if they couldn't care less about the sorry state of affairs that repel potential customers. It's high time the cafe reevaluates its management team and instigates a complete overhaul of its cleanliness standards. The disregard for cleanliness and customer experience is shocking and tarnishes the cafe's reputation. The disrespect shown towards customers is palpable, and it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential squandered due to such a basic failing. In conclusion, this cafe's potential remains untapped due to its shocking lack of cleanliness and care. Unless significant changes are made – starting with a new manager who prioritizes hygiene and customer satisfaction – it's challenging to see how this place can turn things around. The current state of affairs is truly disheartening and deserves to be addressed with urgency.

Aux Planches, a French restaurant known for its exceptional fries, offers a unique culinary experience. Unlike other establishments that often serve dry fries requiring additional condiments, Aux Planches serves moist and crispy ones. The hamburgers, particularly the double cheese variant, are good but not extraordinary. The dessert options include a delightful chocolate cake with a melted heart. The staff members are friendly and fluent in English.
The best fries ever! I had an hard time finding good fries in restaurants. Usually they're so dry that they're impossible to eat without sauces. This time they were amazing! Juicy and crispy. The hamburger (I took the double cheese) was really good but not amazing. The dessert (chocolate cake with melted heart) was good too. The personal is friendly and speaks English. The menu is in French, so I suggest to download it from the web page of the restaurant and take a look at it before. The prices are high and there's no possibility of taking menus for a discounted price. We are there on a Monday evening and the restaurant was booked out, so I suggest booking in advance.

Unfortunately, this was a bad experience. The restaurant was not even half full and our plates took 1 hour to arrive. My tartare saumon was tasteless, the supermarket french fries were the best part of my meal. The only two good points are the ambience (in front of the beach) and the friendly waitress. It is not worth it.

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is a convenient hub for travelers exploring the French Riviera, Alpes-Maritimes, and Monaco. It offers helicopter links to Monaco, making it easy to hop along the coast between Cannes and Ventimiglia via Antibes, Nice, Monaco, and Menton. The airport's proximity to stunning beaches and its accessibility to neighboring countries make it an ideal starting point for sun-worshippers and backpackers alike.
I’m reviewing here terminal2 departure and duty free. I think it’s a very good, quite and organized airport in comparison to lot of small airports. The duty free is over priced but it has a good variety of food and products. The staff at the security are very polite but unlike many airports in Europe, they still have issues with water bottles a d liquids on flights. Seats are comfortable and toilets are everywhere with a place to fill the water.
Phanendra D — Google review
The airport is rather small and there sent many shops the security check in wasn’t too manic but the staff would make you remove your liquids at the conveyor belt rather than warning you before hand to have them ready in the clear bag so I was slightly confused and overwhelmed by the whole experience. The best convenience is that the metro is just outside and quite cheap and easy to navigate !!

We walked nearly 23,000 steps discovering every corner—day and night—and the energy, beauty, and charm never let up. ✨ If you're thinking about the Côte d’Azur, Nice should be at the top of your list. Great food, gorgeous views, and a perfect mix of beach life and city vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend

Goid public transport to the airport. T2 was crowded and disorganised. Allow time to find where you are going and at check-in. Once you are through security its a little calmer before you get to gate. Queues to board are long and slow and once again crowded. Airport appeared clean.

Large, modern airport. Terminal 2 specific- plenty of shops and restaurants air side and a lot of seating. Large duty free, prices didn’t seem much cheaper than home (UK).

Nice, France, is a fantastic destination with a lot to offer. If I were to say something good about it, I'd highlight several key aspects: First and foremost, its stunning natural beauty and prime location on the French Riviera are undeniable. The deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea contrasting with the colorful buildings and the gentle curve of the Baie des Anges is truly picturesque. The famous Promenade des Anglais is perfect for a stroll, run, or bike ride, offering constant sea views. Its proximity to other gems of the Riviera like Cannes, Monaco, and charming hilltop villages makes it an excellent base for exploring the region. Secondly, Nice boasts a unique blend of French and Italian influences, which you can see in its architecture, cuisine, and even the local dialect. This gives the city a distinct character that sets it apart from other French cities. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is a particular highlight, with its narrow, winding streets, vibrant markets (like Cours Saleya), and lively atmosphere. It's a joy to get lost in its alleys, discovering hidden squares and local shops. Then there's the incredible climate. With abundant sunshine and mild temperatures for most of the year, it's a pleasant place to visit almost any time. This allows for a relaxed, outdoor-oriented lifestyle, whether it's dining al fresco, enjoying the beaches, or simply people-watching from a café terrace. Finally, Nice offers a rich cultural experience. It has a number of excellent museums, including those dedicated to Matisse and Chagall, reflecting its history as a magnet for artists. The food scene is also fantastic, with delicious Niçoise specialties like socca, salade niçoise, and fresh seafood, all best enjoyed with a glass of local Provençal wine. In short, Nice is a captivating city that combines natural beauty, a vibrant culture, delicious food, and a relaxed Mediterranean charm, making it a truly wonderful place to experience. Nice, France, often nicknamed "Nice la Belle" (Nice the Beautiful), is truly a jewel of the French Riviera, and there's so much to say about it! Here are some key aspects that make it a fantastic destination: * Stunning Natural Beauty: The city is incredibly picturesque, with the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea stretching out before you, framed by the iconic Promenade des Anglais. The light here is often magical, inspiring artists for centuries. You can also get incredible panoramic views from Colline du Château (Castle Hill). * Charming Old Town (Vieux Nice): This is the heart and soul of Nice. A maze of narrow, winding cobblestone streets, vibrant with colorful buildings, bustling markets (like Cours Saleya), charming cafes, and hidden squares. It's a joy to get lost in and discover its unique character. * Rich Culture and History: Nice has a fascinating past, influenced by both France and Italy. You can see this in its architecture, from elegant Belle Époque buildings to Baroque churches. The city boasts excellent museums, including those dedicated to famous artists like Matisse and Chagall, who were drawn to the region's light and beauty. It's also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique history as a "Winter Resort Town of the Riviera." * Exceptional Climate: Nice enjoys a mild, sunny Mediterranean climate for most of the year, making it an attractive destination even in the cooler months. This allows for plenty of outdoor activities and a relaxed, al fresco lifestyle. * Delicious Gastronomy: The food scene in Nice is a delightful blend of Provençal and Italian influences. You absolutely must try local specialties like socca (a chickpea pancake), salade niçoise, and fresh seafood. The markets are a feast for the senses, offering fresh produce and local delicacies. * Vibrant Atmosphere: Nice is a lively city with a cosmopolitan feel, yet it maintains a relaxed, holiday vibe. There's always something happening, whether it's people enjoying a leisurely meal, strolling along the promenade, or enjoying the vibrant nightlife. * Gateway to the French Riviera: Its prime location.

Green Park is a small and cozy campground located just 5 km from the beautiful beaches of the French Riviera. The campsite offers a natural setting with pitches, mobile homes, and amenities such as a heated pool, restaurant, sports facilities, and a grocery store. Visitors can enjoy the comfortable accommodations with modern amenities including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The friendly staff provides excellent service and there is non-stop surveillance in the swimming pool for safety.
Such a small and cosy campsite ideal for exploring the French Riviera. The staff is very nice and pleasant, the mobile homes clean and modern, the heated pool opened until 19.00 is a bonus. Intermarche is 10 min away. Wifi coverage is not good, SFR has the best signal. We really enjoyed our spring brake.

Lovely four-star campsite, well maintained, with very good facilities including swimming pool and bar/restaurant. But very far from town, with a very limited bus service. Mobile homes are generally of a high quality. Many of them are owned privately by people as part of an unusual lease back scheme. The mobile homes are rented out by professional companies at a very high commission. Nice, quiet but expensive. Bring your own car!

Campsite is stunning in a beautiful location, great if you hire a car but still accessible without, we used taxi and free shuttle bus to beach/train-station without issues. Pool area is beautiful and suitable for both my toddler and 7 year old & very clean. If your English and non French speaking kids clubs & some evening entertainment is hard to engage or flow, limited English spoken on site. On site shop is limited with no fresh food, so need to travel to local supermarket, but daily fresh baguettes & pasties are lovely.

Everything was wonderful. The pitch the pool, the bar, the food, the show block. The only fly in the ointment was the very loud music played until 02.00 each morning. Luckily, as I sometimes say in Youth Hostels and ride a motorbike, I had my ear plugs with me. They were needed It was nice to stay again, as we did so a few years ago, when cycling from Toulouse to Nice. This year, I cycled from Geneva to Nice Thanks

If you are expecting a traditional caravan style park...This isn't one - I'd say it's more a glamping experience - But a very nice one 👍 After getting over our initial shock of its not a 'Thorpe Park' / similar caravan...Its an air cond cabin on a hillside and we couldnt park next to our cabin...Its not that bad at all. We was greeted by an excellent receptionist who spoke very good English, so check in was OK...We opted for bedsheets and towels but if you can, bring your own towels as the ones provided are really small, and as for the bed sheets...I'd av preferred my own sleeping bag! And you have to make up your own beds upon arrival! But the beds themselves are very comfy for what they are. Also, don't pay for the end of stay clean charge...We paid for it, having not seen the caravan (sorry cabin) but was advised of the requirements/expectations and so we thought the job would have been a big one - But the cabins (caravans) are small - So keep your 70 euros and spend 10 mins cleaning before departure 🙂 The park is very hilly which I didn't mind. It has one swimming pool which is nice but gets very busy, so most just stand around in the pool or lay on lounges reading books and then give death stares when splashed! 🤷. The bar area is nice but expensive and the shop...Well you cant say anything here as it ain't up to much at all but the Intermache down the road (10 mins drive) is great and convenient. The site do provide a free bus service to the beach / town area which is excellent if you don't want to mess around taking your own vehicle. Overall this camp site was a great place to locate yourself for exploring the Cote D Azur, Monaco, Nice, Cannes and I would possibly come back here! 👏

Park is small quiet location, new swimming pool, but no slides, park provides regular bus service to the seaside, location was very close to famous big cities Nice,Monaco,Cannes what we managed to visit in 4days of our stay in Green park,Thank you
Nerijus P — Google review
***This Park is NOT recommended without a car*** There is a bus stop located about 50 metres outside the camp but there is no footpath to walk on so you have to walk in the road and the 41 bus is totally unreliable. You can wait over an hour for the bus despite what the timetable says. The cabins are small and basic (no oven) but generally well maintained. The park is quiet and the staff are friendly. The pool is for lounging, not swimming. The resturant and shop on site are nice but some things are quite expensive. The park closes during the day for a few hours so if you get here for check in during these times, everything is closed. I have visited a few europark camps and this was by far the most difficult to get around due to the unreliability of the bus. Once you get to the town, much easier as there are more regular buses to Nice or trains every half an hour to Nice, Cannes & Monaco.

Canyon Forest is an exciting outdoor adventure park set in a natural environment, offering activities such as ropes courses and canyoning excursions. The park features a challenging course with different levels of difficulty, including a 300m long Flying Fox. Visitors can also enjoy horseback riding at St Georges stables and golfing nearby. The friendly staff provide modern and safe equipment for the activities.
If you're looking for an adventure-packed day, I highly recommend visiting this parc! The courses are well-designed with varying levels of difficulty, making it suitable for all experience levels. We opted for the intermediate (red) course, and I must say, it was quite challenging, especially if you're not super fit. Thankfully, there are multiple exit points along the route, so if you start to feel overwhelmed or your muscles are getting sore, you can easily leave the course. The staff here are absolutely fantastic. They are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Throughout the day, they frequently checked in to make sure we were doing okay, which added an extra layer of comfort to the experience. We booked for a full day, assuming we could tackle multiple courses, but with no prior experience, we ended up only completing one. When we mentioned this to the staff, they were so understanding. Without hesitation, they contacted the reception to arrange a partial refund, which was an unexpected but truly thoughtful gesture. It’s rare to find such kindness and flexibility these days! There are also two food trucks on-site, offering a selection of sandwiches and drinks, which is perfect for a quick refuel. If I could give more stars, I definitely would!

We had such a wonderful day at Canyon Forest ! I went with my two children, and it was the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and family bonding. The staff was incredibly friendly and explained everything clearly, which helped a lot. The course is set in a beautiful forest, and it’s well organized with options for different age levels and abilities. The river near by was also a plus for us, great time. Thank you.

Amazing fun for kids and adults. Also it’s located in a large secluded area so the experience os very nice and authentic. They are only open on Wednesdays and Weekends so plan accordingly. The website says you have to reserve but I believe you can pay on the spot too. Definitely recommend buying the gloves. Also you will need to go far from reception to the main location, and they will offer you a bike - I suggest taking the bike (don’t walk) because it’s quite far and also the bike ride is very pleasant itself

I've visited Au Bureau Cagnes sur Mer twice and plan to return. Despite the negative reviews, I haven't encountered any issues. The food is of high quality, prices are average, and the staff is fast and friendly. The portions are large, especially with my favorite dishes being Pub Fries and Caesar Salad which are extremely generous in size. The ambience is cozy with vintage sofas, while the service is speedy and the finger food plates are ample.
Second time coming, and it's great as always. Lots of food types, from Italian to ham, cheese and burgers! Wonderful desserts as well :-) Well recommended.

Extremely Rude staff, I ordered a drink at 4:59PM, the happy hours started at 5- the staff didn't have the common courtesy to wait for a minute because I explicitly asked if it's happy hours and the lady who took my order laughed at me saying haha, not yet. Spoke to the manager and he said he would try getting me the discount. Walked up to him while paying the bill, he said rudely, sorry- your loss, please leave. Do not visit.
Rohan S — Google review
Au Bureau like always has amazing food and good and fast service. This one slightly disappointed me as it had higher prices than other ones and the food was a bit more lower quality. Additionally some staff were mildly rude. Also, this Au Bureau in exception to others only allows pets on the outside. In the whole I would recommend going to another Au Bureau if you can but you won’t be too disappointed with this one.

The atmosphere is cozy, with old school style sofas. The service is quick and the finger food plates are generous! It's better to sit inside as it is less noisier and more comfortable. They have a great selection of dishes and the cocktails are good 👌🏾.

😒 Disappointed Edit: My vote is now 1 ⭐️ as they removed the Salad Cesar from the Menu which was my favorite plate, it was big and delicious, they basically renamed it so they could put less chicken and make the salad smaller, needless to say we’ve stopped going there, the greediness is unreal. You can see the new salad in the last picture I posted, the one with the eggs on top, and you’ can clearly notice there is less chicken and the portion is smaller.

Thank you to the amazing Fausiha! She was the sweetest with our daughter and super pleasant with us. Always come here for Guinness 👌

First of all, they took so many time to just bring us the menu and note our orders. The worst part was that we had to wait for 1h (some pple came before us and got served) to get very bad and blend food without seasoning (the salad), the burger was okay. The atmosphere is gloomed with dark colors. Some staff were rude especially the cashier. I will never come back there. Very expensive for what you get.

BENBURGER is a spot known for its fresh and well-portioned burgers, along with delicious crispy fries. Despite the initially small portions, customers are pleasantly surprised by the explosion of flavors in their meals. The "cheese" and "green" burgers are highlighted as some of the best options available. The service is highly praised, with a dynamic and smiling team that delivers dishes quickly and professionally.
Really tasty burgers, actually one of the best I've had in France. The ingredients taste fresh and the beef patty is just how I like it. The fries were really crispy too. Staff were nice and accommodating and the place was really busy. Was a nice surprise finding this... Only took a star off on atmosphere as it's bang in the middle of the shopping center. 💯 Superior We’ve been here twice and both times we left satisfied. The thing we like the most about this place is that they use fresh ground meat and they also have some Halal options, which is a plus. The burgers are very delicious and the prices are on par with the quality offered. Our burgers just lacked a little bit of salt, but besides that, no complaints. I recommend Benburger if your wish is to eat a delicious burger for a fair price.

Fleur de Sel is a restaurant located in the heart of old Cagnes-sur-Mer, sourcing its seafood directly from the port of Cros and the local fishermen in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The menu offers a variety of wild fish, oysters, shrimp, fish-based tapas, as well as risottos and some meat dishes. Visitors praise the culinary coherence with the setting and commend the warm staff.

Fleur de Sel is exceptional in all aspects: from an elegantly charming atmosphere to friendly, professional service, and an excellently executed surprise tasting menu / wine pairing. Not to mention a great setting in a medieval hilltop town. I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon Alex & Chloe’s welcoming production when my flight was cancelled! Turned out to be the best meal of my trip.

A hidden gem nestled on the hilltop of Cagnes-sur-Mer. It was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered a bottle of Bourgogne rouge which paired well with the Signature menu for the evening. Every dish was wonderfully presented and tasted delicious. I am posting our favorites: the artichoke, the merlú, and the apricot tart which was SPECTACULAR. It is a cozy and relaxed atmosphere and I would highly recommend this place as an intimate destination for a sophisticated high-end dinner service. If I could give it six stars, I would. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful gastronomic experience!

By far, our best meal so far in the region. While the menu was quite limited, each and every dish was truly marvelous. We would rank this restaurant higher than one Michelin star Alain Llorca - where we dined the night before and which cost twice as much. The asparagus, the quail, the desserts - each dish was a perfection of its own.

The center offers a diverse range of shops including fashion, beauty, and electronics as well as dining options.
Carrefour Nice Lingostière is a convenient shopping center located in Nice. It offers a good range of stores, including fashion, beauty, and electronics, alongside popular dining options. The center is well-maintained and clean, making it a practical stop for daily shopping needs. However, like many large shopping centers, it doesn't have a particularly unique atmosphere, which might leave those looking for a more distinctive shopping experience feeling a bit underwhelmed. Overall, it's a reliable spot for quick and essential shopping trips but lacks the charm that might attract visitors for a more leisurely outing.

This center is really good, but unfortunatly they don't have the stores we want. I need a Primark store here. And how about a 2€ store too....because all the stores have very high prices. It's also the only place where you can get cigarettes on sunday morning, when all the other stores around are closed.

Located just a short distance from the historic town center of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Fondation Maeght is a hilltop museum and sculpture garden that showcases an impressive collection of 20th-century artworks by renowned artists such as Calder, Miró, and Chagall.
DEFINITELY worthwhile! My husband and I spent just over 3 hours admiring all the art inside and outside the gallery and then having a simple lunch outside in the restaurant. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. Whether or not you are an art lover, I think you would enjoy this museum. It's beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the artwork. The outside area is peaceful and has stunning views of the town below too. Food in restaurant was very good. Plenty of parking at the bottom of the hill. Not necessary to speak French to enjoy. Tickets are easily purchased onsite. Nice gift shop too.

Amazing place. Exciting, beautiful, well curated. A must- see. You need 3 hours at least yo enjoy it. There’s a nice restaurant and Bar with art all around in the sculpture garden.
Brian C — Google review
One of the best museums I’ve visited. The architecture itself is really nice , and the sculpture garden is beautiful and relaxing, complete and offers a café for coffee or a bite to eat. The collection is thoughtfully curated. Plan to spend at least three hours to fully enjoy it, and arrive early as it can gets busy after 12.

Beautiful and monumental spot with stunning form and broad collection of contemporary artists. The architecture is stunning, combined with nature and beautiful view, creates unique and one of the kind atmosphere. It’s also great to sit in the garden cafe house and admire the sculptures around. The prices are quite high but it’s still worth visiting at least once.

My first visit here was in 1990. It was like discovering a rare, precious gem. On my latest visit, 40 years later, the magic and charm continues on... it is without doubt my most favourite art museum anywhere in the world!! The location amongst natural parkland, with glimpses to the sea in the distance, is bomeyond spectacular! Dining on the open terrace, next to the Chagall mural and by the stained glass of the chapel is something not to miss. I will certainly visit again, next time I'm in the south of France.
Julie R — Google review
In my opinion one of the finer museums in the world. Restorative experience amidst the pine trees. Timeless mid century modern architecture with sculpture garden featuring works by Henry Moore, Calder and especially Miro. Impressive collection of 20th century modern art. Plan two hours minimum to enjoy the place. Early morning is nice and quiet, especially in the off-season. If you’re outside on the terrace around 12:00 plus 12:07, you can hear chapel bells ring.

A lovely day out from Nice. I had been to the Fondation a number of years ago when, I thought it just ok. But a major extension and renovation in 2022-24 has yielded great results. The gardens were always beautiful. But now the indoor galleries are way more extensive now showing off the beautiful collection. Plus their restaurant is lovely. We had lunch by the fountain. I highly recommend a visit.

This is an A+ museum. The art aside, there has been extensive steps taken to aid visitors to discover during their visit. The grounds are so pleasant. I highly recommend taking time to get a beverage and grab a chair outside to people watch and enjoy the sculptures while listening to birds chirp.

Château-musée Grimaldi

4.5
(585)
Museum
Château-musée Grimaldi, located in Haut de Cagnes, is a historic castle turned museum that offers a glimpse into the region's rich heritage. Originally built as a fortress in 1310, it later transformed into a baronial residence before becoming a museum. The interior boasts stunning frescoed ceilings and houses the Museum of Modern Mediterranean Art, showcasing an array of contemporary works.
Beautiful castle on top of the hill. It's all worth it to go up on the wonderful small streets and see the castle. You reach the castle plateau and you can dine at one of the restaurants there before entering the castle. The view from the square and from the roof top of the castle is wonderful. The castle is small, but you can see some of the rooms as they were. The most beautiful is the one with the immense fireplace and the painted ceiling. I recommend visiting the castle and the area.
Gabriela S — Google review
I found this castle boring. Outside it looks better than inside. There are halls devoted to making olive oil; music hall with guitars and other musical instruments. Some paintings: curious mixture of modern posters and old things. The expositions are not connected. The location is wonderful, the small village is authentic and is really worth a visit. The view is breathtaking. While waiting for the museums to be opened we had a stroll and were amazed and satisfied. If you do not want to walk up and down you can use a shuttle bus out of charge which runs every 15 min.
Piripax P — Google review
We weren't sure if it was worth going in, but really glad we did! It's an interesting building, and had a great variety of modern art and sculpture on display. To be honest, the view out to the Mediterranean from the tower is worth the entry fee. There's a free shuttle from the town centre if you don't want to walk up the (incredibly steep) hill. We took the shuttle down and it was like a very slow rollercoaster!
Holly P — Google review
Nice museum, the climb to it is quite steep, but the vilige on the mountain has several beautiful photo spots
Rafal K — Google review
My second visit was nice. I really enjoyed theirs new exhibition. The staff was friendly and the place is beautiful and unique. The view from the top of the tower was unforgettable.
Daria C — Google review
That’s an impressive medieval castle. It can easily catch up your attention as it’s right on the top of the city. There is very friendly and nice staff. The castle inside seemed to me a bit empty but you can find some exhibitions like the Olive museum, the photo exposition of Suzy Solidor, some other photo expositions and some rare furniture and paintings. You can also reach the roof of the castle with a breathtaking view of the city and the sea. The benefit of the museum is the combined ticket with the Renoire museum for 8 euros.
Kirill M — Google review
The caste could have been nice if they let us in... It's only open for few hours and it's the main attraction of the city, maybe don't close 15 minutes before 12... And we already had paid the tickets. Also the staff wasn't friendly at all... Didn't leave a good impression

Nestled in the picturesque Haut de Cagnes, Le Jimmy's is a charming restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. With its lovely terrace, it's the perfect spot to soak up the sun while enjoying breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The friendly and relaxed service adds to the welcoming atmosphere of this well-loved establishment. The menu features delightful dishes like pissaladière, showcasing perfectly caramelized onions paired with anchovies and olives on a crisp base—truly a treat for your taste buds!
We had a fantastic experience at Le Jimmy’s! The setting is charming—tucked away in the heart of Haut de Cagnes with a lovely terrace perfect for a sunny afternoon. The service was friendly and relaxed, and the food was excellent. We especially loved the pissaladière—perfectly caramelized onions, anchovies, and olives on a crisp base. Paired with a bottle of Châtellenie de Mistral rosé (which was exceptional: dry, crisp, and subtly fruity), it made for an unforgettable meal. We also tried the Château de Brégançon rosé, which was slightly sweeter but still refreshing. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
Richard P — Google review
The pizza is delicious, but the service is beyond terrible. You have to wait for them to bring the menu, wait for them to take your order, wait for them to bring two pizzas, and then wait for the bill… Eating a pizza here can take up to 3 hours. And it wasn’t even crowded—only a few tables were occupied. Also, if you serve pizza uncut, you should provide sharp knives. If I had known, I would have never gone.
Dilara — Google review
Lovely restaurant with a lovely view. Would recommend going at sunset. Staff welcoming, clearly a well loved business and a bloody good one at that. Food and drinks are incredible! WE LOVE So accommodating, we mentioned we were sharing the pizza and it came out on separate plates already divided for us. Such a nice touch

Delightful meal with a phenomenal view. You can park down in the town and take the Navette bus up, which is free and helps avoid looking for parking up on the Haut de Cagnes. The view was amazing and the prices reasonable. Lovely place for a long lunch with friends!

What a great find! Myself and my partner had such a lovely dinner to end our holiday in Côte d'Azur. Friendly service from the owner who explained the menu to us when we sat down. The food had so much flavour! We had the onglet steak and the homemade ravioli and both were superb. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Cages-sur-Mer wanting a nice meal out.

I was a little worried when I sat down and realized it was a one man show. I had nothing to worry about at all though. The chef was completely on top of his game. Service was prompt, and he spoke many languages. I had the petite farcis Niçois, it was spectacular. I savoured every bite. My friend got the gnocchis au pistou maison, she thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The wine he chose to pair with the meal was also very nice. All together an absolutely wonderful meal. I wish I was in town longer, so I could try more of the dishes on the menu.

Love this place! It’s one of my favourites for Coffee, Lunch or Apéro. Right by sea and away from the road it’s nice and calm with beautiful views. The service is always brilliant and they have a wide range of snacks, salads and sandwiches. Although we normally have the well priced plat de jour. In the evenings you can watch the sun go down with ever changing small shared tapas plates, cocktails and nice beers. I’ve lived in the area 4 years and this is one of my only very regular spots. Even just for a Sunday morning coffee in the sun. Although sometimes, if your there at French lunch time you might have a short wait for a table.

Great parasailing experience – friendly staff and fair prices! We went parasailing with Cagnes Water Sports and had a fantastic time. As experienced parasailers, we really appreciated how smooth and well-organized everything was. The staff on the beach were very friendly and welcoming, and they made the whole process easy from start to finish. Safety instructions were clear, and all the equipment looked well-maintained. The team was professional but also relaxed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is beautiful, and launching right from the beach was simple and stress-free. The jets experience was amazing itself. I couldn't recommend it enough. The guy there (can't remember his name but he was wearing a red top) was great and made us feel so welcome and the experience was thrilling! Unfortunately, we went back a few days later for the towed buoy ride and it was quite awful. The two young guys pulling the buoy went way too fast and I hurt my head a lot. I don't think they even listened when we told them to decrease the speed. It wasn't a fun experience at all and quite painful. Definitely would recommend jet skiing instead.

Disappointing, unacceptable, especially because of the smile on her face telling us! We then went to Glissé in St. Laurent du var (which was BTW 5 Euros cheaper. )

Charlot 1er is a seafood restaurant that offers delicious lobster noodle dishes. While one version was cooked well and had plenty of lobster, another lacked freshness and tasted slightly old. However, the pictured dish was exceptional. The menu also includes a popular South France fish soup. Creperie
The creperie LA TARTANE is known for its service and friendly welcome. The pancakes they offer are delicious, although they may not be the cheapest option available. However, this is easily justified by the fact that the restaurant is located by the sea, providing a beautiful setting that adds value to the dining experience. With excellent pancakes and galettes on their menu, LA TARTANE has gained a reputation for serving top-notch food.
Traditional and cute owner operator was super helpful in helping us pick the best evening snack after a day in Italy and Monaco. We enjoyed both a single traditional galette savoury and a sweet one to share between my wife and I
Mark S — Google review
The restaurant is furnished like the interior of a boat, the wood-paneled walls and the view of the sea allow you to feel like you are in an adventure. The cider (both sweet and dry) is rigorously served in large and nostalgic cups, the main dishes present a small choice of great quality. Everything is accompanied by the friendly presence of the owner, a kind and smiling man who shows the entire process of preparing the crepes from the main window. The prices are very advantageous and the atmosphere is accentuated by the presence of a few wooden tables and large palm trees. A real bijoux.

I only give 4 star for food as i ordered the beef stake medium rare and got it midium well. Iam a chef and you get understand how good is a chef by his stake skills. Otherwise the stake was mising some finishing touch like Maldon salt, the sauce was like beure noisette, but not really tasty just a bit bland. Needs more flavour in all dishes, the tartate was kind of ok, again mising salt and bit of flavour. Fried squid was good. Sea bream great option and tasty. Deserts were on the mark, but i dont get why they had french toast with nutella on the menu. Creme brulle, strawberry and cream great choices, the giant profiterol is huge and at least for 2 people. I have a youtube channel where you can find more reviews and recipes : Chefscool

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I had a very disappointing experience that felt discriminatory. As a foreigner, I was asked to move from a table I was already seated at, with the excuse that the section was “reserved only,” even though there were multiple empty tables and no one ended up sitting there for the rest of the evening. They moved me to another table, I ordered, ate, and paid, but the service throughout was rude and unwelcoming. The restaurant was closing in less than 30 minutes, so there was no reason to make me move—especially when no one else showed up. The treatment felt unfair and disrespectful, and the overall service was poor. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values good service and respectful treatment.

My best beach club experience in two months on the Côte d’Azur. Warm and excellent service; delicious food with high-quality ingredients and strong attention to detail; peaceful and luxurious atmosphere, with the lapping waves soothing you to sleep. Thank you so much for the fantastic hospitality — I’m looking forward to returning. Sidenote: If I owned a beach club, I would make a rule that children are welcome but are not allowed to scream while swimming. It really disturbs the peace, and it’s always just one or two children doing it (encouraged by their parents), while all the other children are beautifully behaved and respectful. But maybe that’s just me and no one else minds!
Daniela J — Google review
C'était très sympa. Bonne nourriture et une plage très calme et sympa. Exactement qu'on cherchait! Highly recommend, a high end, but low key beach club. Reasonable prices for the SOF. The comments make me giggle. Not sure how a beautiful beach club like this with great prices, nice staff, and a good overall vibe gives you 1-2 stars. You want your cake and to eat it too, the average beach club in the South is usually 3 times this price! But I bet even there you would've given a silly review. Loved the life guard. Honorable mention as he is the GOAT.
Sara A — Google review
This place is beautifully situated right by the sea. However, this is the only plus point of the place. The service by three different employees was not good. Other guests' food was brought to our table several times and our dishes didn't really taste good. The 500 gr. meat for 42 euros was bad. We were given a small discount for this. This place can only be recommended for a drink.
Be. T — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. We visited as a group of friends and were served by two waiters who were extremely unfriendly throughout. Most concerning, however, was the handling of food hygiene: a pigeon walked across our dishes, which had been placed on a side table before being served. The bird even picked from the food which was then served, yet the waiters showed no sign of understanding that this is utterly unacceptable. The audacity to then charge the full price without any meaningful acknowledgment of the situation was beyond anything I have experienced in hospitality. While the chef eventually came out, shared his perspective and was collaborative in tone, the overall experience left us very disappointed.

Haut de Cagnes is an authentic old French village that sees relatively few tourists, making it a hidden gem worth exploring. The 14th-century Chateau Grimaldi, home to the Musee de l'Olivier and an annual international art festival, dominates the area with its ramparts. The narrow cobblestone streets are lined with boutiques and restaurants, while the main square is popular for boules playing.

The Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs, also known as Folon Chapel, is a 17th-century church in Saint-Paul-de-Vence near Nice. The interior is adorned with the artwork of Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon, including vibrant mosaics, sculptures, and paintings. The chapel's stained glass windows were created in collaboration with artisans. Visitors are recommended to visit this unassuming yet luminescent church to see the striking Folon mural.
One of the most beautiful things we’ve seen in a calm, tranquil setting. What painstaking work has taken place to create this simply stunning mosaic and surrounding artwork envisioned by the late artist, Folon. This was absolutely the icing on the cake for our day trip to Saint Paul de Vence, we were so pleased that the lady in the tourist information impressed upon us the need to go and see it. Closed between 12.30pm and 2pm, it is well worth the €3 per person to feed your soul with this fresh, modern, magical, sparkling work of art. The lady in charge was very informative also - worth popping to the boutique diagonally opposite to see pictures of the mosaic and installation in progress too. Superb.

Chateau Le Cagnard is a refined 13th-century chateau located on a hill within the medieval Haut-de-Cagnes. The boutique hotel offers elegant rooms and suites with terraces, beamed ceilings, and ocean views, making it an ideal retreat for couples and history enthusiasts. The property features a sophisticated restaurant serving modern cuisine, with its Michelin dishes being highly recommended.
Review for both the restaurant & the hotel - we had a fantastic (but too short) of a stay! The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful! Getting to the chateau is a bit tricky, but they provide clear directions & pick you up once you’ve parked! The room was beautiful & spacious. The restaurant on the terrace had a great menu with incredible service! Highly recommend.
Brooke B — Google review
Really beautiful hotel, almost a remote hideout. Heads up: if you rely on buses and trains, this is likely not a good fit, as it takes at least half an hour to get to the train station (especially in the scorching summer heat). Coupled with the extreme heat in summers, it is best to stay in the hotel and enjoy your room with A/C, beautiful, tasteful decor. The small, medieval hilltop village is a marvel, and absolutely not overrun with tourists. But the hotel amenities are of course a bit limited. The indoor pool is nice. And while the hotel restaurant is really great regarding quality, and the staff is extraordinarily friendly, with great service, the prices are quite steep. For instance, we paid 64 € for a two-person breakfast. It was of stellar quality of course, but the quantities left to be desired sadly. This is definitely a great hotel, but the remote location, and price tag definitely must be considered.

Adorable hotel tucked inside a sleepy medieval village. The rooms are well-appointed and thoughtfully updated (AC and a tiny elevator), while still keeping that fairytale charm of the town. The restaurant was outstanding with beautifully prepared dishes and plenty of local character. The history provided during check-in was a nice introduction to the building especially after the brief but harrowing ride up the precariously narrow ancient streets.

Enjoyed a special family celebration evening at the restaurant. Beautiful food, excellent service, views from the restaurant are incredible. The hotel and restaurant have been sensitively and tastefully restored and the restaurant is under new management by a Swedish restauranteur. A true luxury experience with a laid back enjoyable atmosphere. Loved this place and thank you to all the team for your hospitality.

Great location with stunning views and unforgettable setting. What separates this hotel from other destinations on our trip is the service: young gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful and professional. Bell service was outstanding - our luggage was delivered to hotel from the car we parked almost a kilometer away. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking to experience an old time charm of southern France.

It is an upscale hotel with a very competent restaurant. I didn't know cod could be this tasty! Service is incredibly attentive and friendly. For the price to quality ratio, there are probably more remarkable places (you're paying for staying in a castle) but my stay was memorable. Try walking the steep cobblestone street to the west (Mnt de France), a workout to remember in both directions!

I chose this hotel for the stunning views, medieval charm and 4 star rating with the understanding that we would receive great service. Unfortunately this was not the case and I was pretty disappointed with our overall stay, mainly due to the service we received. I was required to fill out a form via email detailing when and how I would be arriving. The questionnaire gave specific instructions for how to get to the hotel if you are arriving by taxi and that someone from the hotel would be there to greet us and direct us to the hotel. Upon our arrival we were dropped off on the side of the road (this was the address provided by the hotel) with the hotel nowhere in sight and no one there to greet or help us. The hotel is tucked away through some narrow, winding passageways and after wandering around for 30ish minutes we were able to speak with a local who helped navigate us to the hotel. Once we finally arrived at the hotel no one greeted us, made any effort to check us in or helped with our bags. I opted for a bottle of champagne and when we arrived to our room it was just left out at room temperature with no glasses and no way to chill or drink the bottle. The AC did not work and our shower drain was clogged and flooded every time we used it. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill and it is not easy to navigate down to the town or train station unless you have a car. For our check out I had requested a taxi to pick us up and this was confirmed with the hotel concierge a few days in advance. On the day of check out they called my hotel room to inform me the taxi had arrived 45 minutes earlier than I had scheduled it. I explained I was not ready and they proceeded to rush me and ask when I planned on checking out. When I arrived to check out there was no urgency and no one seemed to have any idea where the taxi was or who it was that called my room. They dropped me on the side of the road with all my bags in the hot sun and I proceeded to wait over an hour for my taxi to arrive as I believe they sent the first taxi away. They gave a taxi that did arrive in the time that I was waiting to another guest of the hotel. At this point I was frustrated and almost missed my flight and the employees made no effort to apologize or try to rectify the situation. The taxi service that they chose was extremely sketchy and the driver attempted to scam me by saying they did not take card (which is not true) and required I pay in cash. Overall I was pretty unhappy with the service the only thing that saves this place is the restaurant which was spectacular. I would suggest making a reservation for dinner if you’re in the area but I would absolutely not recommend staying at this hotel.

A beautiful place to stay with attentive staff. We had a great stay at Château Le Cagnard, it’s in a great location, close to beautiful restaurants and also has a fabulous restaurant of its own. Nice is close by, the train station a 20 minute walk away too. Just perfect, the terrace and pool were also perfect. I would recommend, the hotel’s breakfast service out on the balcony, the best way to start the day. The local village is stunning with some good restaurants and friendly residents. We also took day trips to other areas and used the Uber service which was nice and easy. Such a lovely place!

Le Village, a charming eatery nestled in the picturesque Haut De Cagnes, offers breathtaking panoramic views and delectable cuisine. The staff at this establishment are exceptionally accommodating when it comes to catering to dietary restrictions, going above and beyond to ensure that patrons with dairy allergies are well taken care of. They consistently provide detailed information about the ingredients in their dishes and offer friendly and attentive service throughout. The food itself is outstanding, striking the perfect balance between richness and lightness.
Hiked up here on a whim on a very hot day. The village was very quiet - I happened upon this lovely spot for a relaxing lunch. The hostess saw how hot I was and offered me a little fan to keep (perfect!) the Niçoise salad was superb and beautifully presented. Stunning views, delicious food, fantastic service.

✨ A truly magical spot on the mountain! ✨ I tried the baked camembert with black truffle — simply unforgettable. 🧀 The cocktails are incredible, and their presentation is pure art (just look at the photos!). 🍸 Desserts are heavenly — the ice cream with hot caramel and cookie crumble is a must-try. 🍨 The coffee is excellent, and the duck fillet with mashed potatoes was cooked to perfection. 🦆🥔 The staff are very welcoming, and the mountain view is absolutely breathtaking. 🌄 This place feels like paradise — highly recommended to anyone visiting! ❤️

Save your money and go to Le Cagnard instead – incredible drinks, delicious food, and service that actually respects customers. Le Village? Never again. We came here for a drink and ordered an espresso martini and a lemon spritz – both €16 each. Unfortunately, both tasted like medicine and were completely undrinkable. We politely asked to replace them with different drinks, and at first, the staff agreed and took them away. But then they came back and told us we had to pay for the drinks we couldn’t drink, and pay again if we wanted to order new ones. Completely unreasonable. Then the manager came out – angry and rude – and forced us to pay for drinks we literally could not drink. I drink espresso martinis regularly (I even have one tattooed on my arm!), but she insisted “that’s how it’s supposed to taste.” No customer care, no solution, just bad attitude. The couple next to us (Norwegian tourists) overheard everything and decided to leave. The manager said her husband is Swedish and claimed that “you can’t change drinks in Sweden either” – which is absolutely false.

Good food. Better cocktails :) Hostess was extremely nice, but the waiter kind of told us off as we wanted to sit in earlier than our reservation. The atmosphere is nice as you can feel the small town vibe from the square.

Our experience at Le Village was soured when I was served a container of parmesan with visible green mold. I pointed it out to a server who took it and brought back a “new” container with again visible green mold. I strongly suspect that the top layer of mold was simply removed from the original container and brought back to me which is simply unacceptable and unhygienic. The “new”container was half full. When I pointed it out again, the server just quickly took it away without even apologizing. It was an upsetting dining experience and I will not be returning.

This place is beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious. The view of the sunset is mesmerizing. The staff is incredibly kind, the service is fast, and the cocktails are great. The restaurant was full, yet there was a surprising sense of calm all around.

Beautiful location, fantastic waiters and waitresses and absolutely delicious food. We stayed in this amazing medieval village for 5 days and 3 of the 5 nights we ended up eating here as the atmosphere was just perfect. What we especially loved was that the menu actually changed a fair amount daily, with the daily specials actually being different each day! We were very well looked after and can’t wait to return on our next trip to the South of France. OH and the profiteroles are a MUST.

Nestled in the charming village of Cagnes-sur-Mer, Restaurant Les Baux offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully blends Provencal flavors with the chef's imaginative flair. The restaurant boasts a picturesque terrace adorned with flowers, providing diners with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, guests are welcomed by a romantic ambiance that enhances their dining experience.
A friendly welcome in a beautiful corner restaurant. Delicious meal and wine at an excellent price. Very memorable and I hope we return soon. Thank you to the owners for a lovely time.

Made a reservation to eat dinner here after reading good reviews. We climbed all the steps to the top of Cagnes-sur-Mer from our campsite at Camping Le Colombier and were rewarded with excellent food and friendly and attentive service. We opted for a set menu for €30 each plus a glass of wine and a beer. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Really cute restaurant just off the main square near Château Grimaldi. Our limited French was no problem as the two guys serving took their time to explain everything so we could understand and a few helpful French/English speaking diners helped too. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely Delicious! The swordfish with the curry was incredible. The flank steak with the truffle potatoes was the perfect combination. Wines for a reasonable price, and went well with the meals. Highly recommend to anyone staying at the Chateau de Cagnard looking for a great meal nearby!

Quirky little restaurant just off the main square of Hauts de Cagnes. I have to admit that when we booked I thought the restaurant would be on the square. Instead it’s on a street corner. A reasonably quiet corner but still next to a bus stop! The food was good, wine choice was basic but acceptable and reasonably priced. Service was attentive enough.

Great menu! It was difficult to decide. I was not disappointed with my choices but everything I saw being served to the other diners, looked really good too. No surprise that it was necessary to book a table as the restaurant was fully booked by the time we arrived for lunch as soon as they opened.

Ice cream shop
Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of the Riviera, Yogurt Factory Shopping Promenade is a delightful spot for frozen yogurt enthusiasts. Visitors rave about the fresh and tasty offerings, including a variety of toppings that can elevate your fro-yo experience. While there's a limit on toppings, many believe that accommodating more choices would enhance customer satisfaction. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, often accompanied by smooth jazz music that sets a relaxed tone for your visit.
Very good taste to the frozen yogurt, I bought a small cup of fro -yo with 4 toppings and a pick of a sauce for under $6 dollars Good customer service. You will like the outside mall as well.

Yogurt is nice and fresh, the only thing is that they have a limit on 4 toppings which doesn’t really make sense as toppings are not all the same. If the customer request 5 toppings I believe they should just pilot a bit less but put all of them.

Good ice cream, but the staff was tired and not so nice to the customers. They used their phone and was not so helpfull…
