Good shopping centre, it would be nice to have a play area for children rather than just a few rides. Plenty of parking available. The cafés, restaurants and toilets are upstairs. There is a lift to reach all of the different floors but the escalators ONLY go up, not down.

Very good selection of shops. Spent a lot of money at Zara's but money well spent. Good deals on shirts, shorts, trousers and shoes 👞. Did expect shoes at Zara's but bought 2 pairs.

Lots of big name stores and restaurants. There is no seating area to rest. Only seats are in restaurants and the massage chairs. Downstairs indoor Car park is a bit chaotic. A paradise for clothes shopping.

Large enough to pass some time away with plenty of different diverse restaurants or snack bars. But could do with some more places to sit . It's quite a long way round to walk with only one place to sit rest and watch the people go by.

I ride my bike to go shopping and there's just one place I can lock it up safely but then again there is lots of security and cameras. I wish there were more toilets as far as I know there is only one on the first floor. There are lots of quality shops for every budget which is great and taxis outside all the time if you don't have a car.I'd say it's pretty good for disabled access too from what I've seen but I'm not disabled so can't vouch for how accessible it really is overall or for the shop layouts etc. It would be absolutely epic if they had more amusement park games here so there's something different to do especially when it's rainy however there is a cinema. It is easy to find and there is a bus stop outside next to the roundabout but the service isn't too great so be prepared for a wait. 😜👍🤦‍♀️🧋🍔☕🫖🎟👗👠👟👖

Nice bull area with a small museum, you don't have to pay for the tickets, because it is free, but the access to the tribune is closes and forbidden.

Unfortunatelly the bullring was closed when we went to visit but the place looks simply beautiful and very well maintained. Even the area outside the bullring was nice and well kept.

It's a nice location for the monthly market. It would be great if there were more contributors because the space could hold so much more. Nonetheless its a great place to spend a few hours out on a Sunday

It's one of the cleanest beaches in the area, the water is clear but beware of jellyfish. Nice beach playgrounds for children. Exercise machines are along the promenade, there is a cycling track either towards Aguadulce or Roquetas

This beach has small stones and can be quite dusty. Good for lying in the sun and playing beach games. Not good for building sandcastles or digging holes with daughters!! There is normally a good atmosphere and the beach is never really that busy. Although can be busier in the late afternoon. A great place for a walk on the promenade in the evening.

Several people have broken shoulders on their tallest ride (I saw them on TV) I myself hurt my knee on that ride, by hitting it against the wall if the tube. The people on TV were complaining that the managent could not care less about their injuries! Other than that, the pools are fine! 😊

The park is good in terms of rides and layout. I will say that first because I have had to reduce the score for several reasons. The life guards are absurdly over zealous. Some stand with the whistles in their mouths waiting for any reason to blow. In the large pool I lifted my daughter out of the water when one guard blew a whistle, when I looked over she was shaking her finger. Another guard whistled because a child was splashing lots whilst they were swimming! It was shockingly bad. I am a full size adult and the area we were playing in was empty so I told the guard to leave me alone and carried on playing but kids were stopped from having fun. The guards at the top of the rides were a little more relaxed and let some people take cameras down so it wasn’t all bad. The other issue is the fact that since we last visited they have put nets up to stop you getting into the water except in some places. This wouldn’t be too much of an issue because most people climbed over the barriers ignoring the whistles from the guards but I am disabled so walking is difficult, stepping over would be impossible, it meant to go from the beds I rented into the water I was next I had to walk around the pool I wanted to get in for quite a while. So the guards cost a star, the nets cost a star and finally, the park opened at 11:30. We were waiting to get in and the guards opened the gates at exactly 11:30, the park closed at 19:30, at 19:00 everyone was forced out of the water, we were ushered out like cattle, it gave us no time to shower and dress because everyone, at the same time had to try to do the same. We ended up having to change in the car park. This was probably our 7th or 8th visit to the park and we won’t be back. There are other parks in the area that offer better value for money and let you have the fun you paid for.

2024 UPDATE The prices have gone up, there's one new ride although it wasn't open when we went at the beginning of July. I highly recommend buying tickets online as you save a small amount but the main advantage is that there is a separate queue which saves time. If you choose not to hire a float, the waiting time isn't too bad. More staff speak English. The place has been freshly painted, it looks clean and well presented. The onsite parking is FREE. It's not cheap, you do pay extra for a few things however the place is brilliant and there's plenty of fun to be had

Payed 55euro for 2 adults. You have to rent sun beds, rent slide wheels rent lockers that dont work properly, massives queues on slides 30 40minute wait. What a waste of money.

Some pools need some more cleaning. Everything was okay even though some attractions weren’t operating in the kids pool area. My biggest problem with this was the fact that they closed the little restaurant which is the ONLY place they sell actual food at 4:00 pm. It is a bit ridiculous that we are trapped in a water park and they closed the only place where we can buy food other than small hot dogs and crepes. This should change

Great park, bit of a faff if you don't rent your own ring.

We were hesitatant to go here because of the lackluster reviews. However I did enjoy coming here. We went september 7th which is the last day it's open. It wasn't super busy but there were some moments you had to wait to use the slides, most of which were worth it. If you do go here, bring your own towels, lay on the grass and bring your own food to save on some unnecessary costs. Apart from that have fun 😊

We had been advised to try this restaurant by a local. We wanted to try the tapas menu. We ordered two glasses of white wine, fish and tomato sauce and a crispy chicken burger. These were from the special tapas menu so cost extra. The burger was plain. No real taste. The fish dish was also ok. The fish was warm but the potatoes were cold.

Great food and great Spanish night atmosphere. Food is great and comes relatively fast once ordered. Great Tapas and some good kid friendly dishes too. Only downside that isn't really is there is only 1 waiter to take orders but he does a great job and gives good recommendations and service. Just order a bunch of tapas to keep you busy for a bit. Go at opening for no wait or be prepared to wait a while for a table.

Great food. The owner travels to research dishes and bring them back to his restaurant. I won't say the meals are super authentic since the recipes are changed a little but all the food is high quality and delicious. Lots of Asian and South American influence. Highly recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls and the chicharrones sandwich.

A must if you come to aguadulce

I came two years ago, they had an art exhibition on (modern art, I was like yeah I can have a go too). I drew a picture of the Castillo. It features me walking my dog called Colonel Lappy and a rainbow in the background. The Colonel loves castles too, he's a good imaginary dog. Anyway I hope I win. Worth a visit if you like castles and old stuff.

A lovely place to visit, cute place with some photos and exhibits which make the walk about quite nice. People mainly go to the top of the castle to take nice photos which is totally worth it. You can easily spend at least 1hr and is free entry. Easy walk from hotel nearby.

Inside is currently displaying a photography and art exhibition which was very interesting, especially for my eldest daughter. We all enjoyed the time we spent there and would recommend anyone visiting the area to take a look.

If you visit nearby Spain then it's a nice stop off point during a beach walk to grab some much needed shade. This is an old fort i believe dating back to 1700s however it is very modern inside and to be fair, it looks great!! It is now an art gallery with plenty of pictures and quirky art pieces and to top it off, it's free to get in!! You can also go up to roof and have a good view out to sea and across the harbour. Its not huge so plan this in as a minor pit stop. Oh.. and there's a nice Amphitheatre outside too :)

Nice historical monument but unfortunately we arrived at siesta time so it was just closing. Nice for a little walk around the exterior anyway.

The hotel is quite large, and I particularly enjoyed the spacious outdoor swimming pool, and the smaller indoor pool complete with a jacuzzi and sauna. However, is additional charge of €6 for two hours. The room was clean , offering an amazing view of the sea. Accessing the room using a bracelet was convenient, and I found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Additionally, there were entertainment options for both kids and adults each day, making it an enjoyable experience. On the downside, I think the dining options could be improved. Offering a wider variety of dishes would enhance the overall dining experience. Furthermore, it would be great if rooms included a kettle for preparing coffee or tea. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.

Not even water. Although at breakfast there is water freely available from dispenser. Asked to be served a drink at dinner and was ignored, our order was never taken despite asking and mentioning my young children needing a drink, so I went to our room to get a bottle of water. It seems the restaurant is not just for guests so this might explain this, and why it’s incredibly busy in May. - Children’s pool not suitable for under 5’s because of large buckets of water tipping into the splash pool every minute, which we saw frightened most young children and they didn’t want to use the slides, a separate, more gentle area without the water buckets or to even turn one off would be great. - €10 deposit for a towel, which we thought was a bit extreme. - Spa is not included and doesn’t mention that it’s extra on booking.com. It’s €6 each per adult for 2 hours. - no English TV channels or option for them. - Kids club very poor, we saw children playing in the room and knocked at the door only for staff to open it, look at us and close it again. No entertainment for kids. - Evening entertainment very poor unless you’re an older person. Not suitable for families. Also no seating space in the lounge in the evening. - Lots of cigarette buts around the pool. Not great with kids

Just spent a week in the Best Sabinal and I can honestly say I was already thinking of booking again for next year. The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach, the surrounding areas are packed with tourist shops and little bars and restaurants. You can rent a bike just outside if you want to ride around instead of walking. The hotel staff are all friendly and approachable from the front desk to the cleaning crew, most spoke English, the ones who didn't they did their best to understand us. They are all hard working people with a smile on their faces. The food and drinks were in plenty of choice. There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The animation team was amazing and involving, they arranged games, and they were translating to English when non Spanish speakers were also playing. The spa was brilliant too. The week that we've spent here was great and relaxing, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We returned from Best Sabinal since Tuesday, we had a great and pleasant stay and had nothing to complaint about. Service was good, we had a little problem in the bathroom with a leaking lavabo, but they came to fix it the same day. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull, also in the restaurant when I had questions about certain products. Food was excellent, wide choice for everyone, theme nights every evening were great. We had a room on the top floor (7th) with splendid frontal seaview.. the pool is not the biggest but even with many people in it didn't feel overcrowded. If I have to day one thing less "positive", it's the animation which was almost only in Spanish and quite late and loud 🙈 Nice walking to Playa Serena where you have more bars, shops and restaurants. Another plus: bus stop next to hotel to go to Roquetas center/Gran Plaza shopping and market and to Almeria City, and very cheap. I was a travel agent for almost 15 years, and I used to book this hotel for so many clients before, and now I was glad to book it for myself and my dad and son, and I did not regret anything about it 🙂

We paid £550pp for 7 nights all inclusive including flights, luggage & transfers, so for that, it served its purpose for price paid and a week in the sunshine but this is definately NOT a 4 star hotel! Its in need of TLC throughout the hotel and day/night time entertainment is quite poor and what is planned does not run on time. All Inclusive drinks was a good selection and plenty of beds around the pool. Would I go again for the price paid - yes. Would i pay anymore than £550pp - no.

The hotel is good. They have huge variety of foods everyday from breakfast to dinner. Different themes every dinner (fex-mex,gala, Mediterranean, asian, italian, mexican. I am only disappointed with Italian and Asian. The sushi rice is bad. And the lasagne is bad. The first time I ate the Paella is so salty but after like 3-4 days they are okay again.

The only good things were the cleanliness & the few English speaking staff. Awful food. Awful entertainment & only Spanish speaking entertainers & kids club runners. V loud at night. Over the weekend (apparently all weekends) the place is invaded by Spanish gypsies, who I wouldn't have had any problems with apart from the fact they were rude, messy (throwing loo rolls into the pool & half empty packets & empty cups all over the pool area. More like a sunny butlins!

The Diverhotel is an older hotel, which is spotlessly clean, well run with friendly staff. A lovely spot for those with young families, too quiet for teenagers. The resort has a beautiful beach and a long promenade, beautifully maintained. We love it here, would definitely come back.

The food was good, I guess you can call it traditional Spanish food with some splashes from England (read bacon, eggs, beans and sausages). The guests was mostly Spanish family's with children. Poolbar had some food and some snacks. Few drinks and some alcoholic beverages.

The only real issue was the reserving of loungers and them left vacant for hours despite information to the contrary. Fabulous food, great location, great staff and service. Would love to return.

Returned to sample the pizzas. Took the pizza special €12.50 midweek deal. My wife had the salmon pizza and I had the salami pizza. We both had a beer. The pizzas were really good. The base was thin but not very thin like in northern Italy. Definitely be back to try other pizzas.. Paid twenty five euro by bank card.

We went here a few nights ago(not the first time) and had a really nice lasagna, been for takeout pizzas tonight and what a disappointment, we have had pizza before too and not had a problem but tonight’s pizza was just terrible, I’ve never had a meal with so much salt, we may as well have gone to the beach and drunk the sea water, we could not eat the pizzas, they literally burnt our mouths with the amount of salt

I geta feeling this place does not like english tourists, food mediocre

It was very busy there so we didn't think twice about eating in this restaurant. We had the garlic bread for starters, which was nothing special. A sliced baguette rubbed with garlic, this was ok but nothing to write home about. For the main course we both had the Spaghetti Pil Pil, which had a very strange aroma and after taste, but we continued to eat it. My wife mentioned she wasn't happy with the dish as it tasted burnt. It wasn't until we had eaten a lot of the Spaghetti and reached the bottom of the dish we saw all the black burned garlic. It left a very bad taste not only that night but also the day after. I complained to the waiter who just shrugged his shoulders and said lo siento. Safe to say it was not the best dining experience and we won't be back.

Fantastic food for the price (€50 for an extensive and delicious tasting menu). The octopus in potato cream was especially good, as was the beef and the desert. The service was warm, personal and attentive. Highly recommended. My only criticism would be the music, which was slightly loud and ill fitting. Regardless, commendations to the head chef.

At least once a year, for special occasions, we like to pamper ourselves here when we are in the region. You can expect a great welcome, wonderful food, super wine and lots of culinary delights. Professional and family at the same time. A very special venue.

We dined here for a special occasion on a quiet Friday evening. We took a taxi from Almeria centre, around 25 minutes away. We booked easily via the Fork app. We enjoyed the food, and amuse bouche courses. The standouts the migas and Iberican pork, with silky flesh, and soft breadcrumbs. Great wine, the ribero del duero Hacienda Monasterio, was from an extensive list. Service was excellent by both the maitre d, and server. Minor complaint that the venue was a little too quiet and the lighting a bit too bright. It would be good to see more people here to improve the ambience, but I guess that is symptomatic of the current covid period. Recommended however and would return.

Nice restaurant with good service but painfully slow. Took 4 and a half hours and we were losing the will to live by the end of it. The food looks great but the flavours aren't particularly special. They need to significantly speed things up at least.

Doesn't look like much from the outside or indeed the inside but the food is worthy of its starred status. Wine menu is amazing and I had the best pigeon dish I've ever tasted.

Good location however service was not very good. Had to ask for my drink (coke) twice and it took 10 mins to come although not particularly busy. Food was nothing special again had to ask for salt twice before it arrived.

Our favourite restaurant in Roquetas de mar. Friendly waiters, ready with a laugh & a joke. Service perfect, and a great choice of high quality pizza & pasta, all home made. We loved the tagellini- thin pasta. Desserts for sharing and particularly good.

A great authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious. The service is excellent and the owner found a great wine from his own cellar to match our requests. Definitely worth a visit - and would recommend you to try even if your staying at one of the nearby hotels with all inclusive.

Great restaurant in Roquetas. We dined there 3 times. Pizzas are excellent and pasta is amazing... Some of the best pasta I ever had. Meat on BBQ was also very good but I preferred the pizza / pasta. Service was very friendly and efficient even though it was high season. Strongly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at La Grappa. If we visit the area again we will definitely return. The food was delicious, the waiter attentive and we found the price very fair. Visit La Grappa and never look back you’ll love it 😍

Best food we've had in Roquetas de Mar so far. Everything was exceptional - well prepared, tasty and with great presentation. Very reasonable prices for tapas and for larger meals. And wonderful service too! We will be returning.

Food is good, allot of the veggie options are fried though 😋. Wines are better than average, but it is all a bit pricy. Think local Spanish 🇪🇸 are in the know here. It is all geared to locals, they order different. Menu is not the menu. Ask, but speak to the staff in Spanish.

Very friendly service, taking time to give good suggestions. The tapas are the best in town, mixing traditional Spanish elements with inspirations from around the world. Good selection of wine and beer. Not the typical tourist-oriented convenience food you find in many of the other bars/restaurants in the area. Still the prices are far from being too expensive. The atmosphere inside is very nice and cosy. That is not the case if you sit outside, but the food more than makes up for that. Definitely worth a visit!

Before our visit I read the reviews Some say the service is great other days it’s terrible Well we found that the two lads who don’t speak English to be pleasant however the owner (I think )who seems to get great positive reviews who speaks English was great with the Spanish but ignorant to non Spanish so this might explain the positive and negative service reviews We enjoyed the food but the lady server ( owner I think ) was not at all interested in us as customers and there may come a time in a recession when they need non Spanish customers so disappointing experience sums up the visit

Extremely helpful waiter helped make our first tapas experience a really delicious one! The glasses are stored in the freezer which makes the beer really cool! Great place!

Not very good unfortunately. Half of what we ordered they didn’t have and what we got wasn’t very tasty. The food took a very long time. For every order they tried to make us order from the more expensive part of the menu. We can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A nice aquarium with touching pool, great for kids. The only drawback is it's quite quick to get around, so I would recommend trying to get a discount eg. If you have passes for Mini Hollywood you can get in for half price.

Booked tickets on line for ease but was a very quiet day, which was lovely. A guide at the beginning spoke perfect English and advised where to and what to see. You can get hands on with the star fish/stingrays and buy €1 fish food to feed some at the begining. The talks are in Spanish obviously but you can tell the staff love their jobs and she was very nice in pointing out certain things to us about where to watch the stingrays get fed. We watched divers feed the sharks and saw the cutest 3 legged turtle! We walked round once, had a very reasonable drink in the cafe. €7 for a slush, can of pop and Americano coffee then walked around again and spent more time letting the stingrays splash us and smoothing the ones that clearly liked the attention. All in all a few good hours out and worth the trip

Without the touch experience, this would be a very overpriced experience. The staff inside are great. At the entrance I felt they were confrontational. Probably too many people aren’t happy with the pricing vs size ratio or confuse the place with the water park. The prices should definitely reflect the size of the place!

Very nice aquarium. Especially the whale tank. It's very clean and nice. But also it is small. 22 EUR for an adult felt a little bit overpriced, but also the maintenance of it cost a lot. There are feedings with professional explanation twice a day

Fantastic Aquarium Super aquarium very hands on, the kids could put their hands in bowls, etc. This was a great afternoon out. Highly recommended.

Maybe small but have to say very well taken care of. If you fancy aquatic life, fishes and so forth it worth pay a visit. Perhaps a little bit expansive for what you get in return still, as said, I enjoyed it.

After the storm the beach had more sand rather than pebbles by the sea and not so much of a steep slope into the sea

It's nice here. Parked right opposite the beach, went for a swim and not too cold. A lady passes every day selling veg. Near the street Market, always a pleasant one to visit on a Thursday and very clean and secure and there is a small laundrette as well. Thank you the town for your hospitality.

The beach is great, a very wide and roomy beach with small pebbles. Plenty of space for everyone without it feeling overcrowded. The water is clean and very pleasant to swim in. Some nice restaurants on the beach front 5 minutes away. The only thing we were missing is a changing room/closet, but it wasn't a big deal

Popped in during a walk around town with the kids. It's a small exhibition about the local sea life and the history of fishing in the region. It's free to visit and well worth the time.

We came across this bar when out with friends the other day and we all enjoyed everything so we returned and found everything was still the same, excellent service from the waitress, a good selection of drinks and very good selection of tapas, the 4 we tried were all tasty and well cooked and presented, the bar is very clean and well kept including the washrooms which were spotless also the prices are very reasonable for what you have to eat and drink,well worth a visit if you are in the area and we will definitely be returning 👏

Great place for fresh and testy sushi. Everything Was beautifully prezentem and full of flavor. The service was top-notch - especially our waitress Kika, who was incredibly kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back!!
