Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8 ° Ost is a modern meteorological center that offers interactive and family-friendly exhibits on weather and climate. Opened in 2009, this unique attraction takes visitors on a journey through various climate zones and cultures along the 8th meridian east. As you explore, you'll experience changes in temperature from the German North Sea Coast to the rainforest in tropical Cameroon, with each zone providing a multisensory experience of sounds, smells, and scenery.
This is an awesome place. There is so much here to enjoy - you can spend the whole day there and still not see everything. I went with my friend, four kids (6-11 years old) and a baby in a pram. It's a shame there isn't a ticket option that allows multiple entries since kids can get over-tired and distracted so they wouldn't necessarily last the whole day and I wouldn't mind another visit next time I'm in the area. However, it is really fun to explore, there are a lot of interesting exhibits, and it is fine for English speakers too. There is a pram-friendly route throughout but unfortunately it can be quite difficult to re-join your group if you get separated because you can't go up the stairs. There is poor mobile phone reception in some areas and the lifts and stairs don't seem to be near each other so it's a good idea to all stick together if it's important for your group. Tickets are fairly expensive but worthwhile if you are able to come early, stay the whole day and take full advantage of everything there is to see and do.

Wow! What an experience. The museum is extremely well designed, arranged and maintained. The different climates are brilliant and the spaces they are contained within are very immersive; at times you even forget you’re in a building. Photos do not do justice to the areas - this is a place that must be experienced in person.
DPW — Google review
A very resourceful place. Creatively worked out to convey the messages. Kids above 8 will understand the concepts more, and will be interesting for them only. From cost point of view, the place is very economic for family visit. Backpacks not allowed during the visit. Safes are available self storage.
Karthikeyan S — Google review
I've been there twice and it was amazing. A great place to visit and learn about the climate. I loved the diversity of each zones and how each room told a different story. I would definitely visit again because it's so much fun!! An interesting thing to do on a rainy day with your family.

Klimahaus Bremerhaven isn't just a museum; it's an expedition that transports you across the globe, following the 8th degree of longitude east. This immersive journey allows you to truly feel the world's diverse climates, from the humid depths of a rainforest to the biting cold of an Antarctic ice cave, and the scorching heat of a desert. You can enjoy the klima house and then the Museum Ship and during the past to now. Especially the U boat and ships.
Kasun A — Google review
I enjoyed this Museum very much. Especially the arctic and the extreme weather exihibion.
Gabi W — Google review
We spent 4.5 hours but still did not cover everything. It is the best thing to do on a rainy day. My kids learned so much but also due to its interactive nature they were not once bored. We stopped for a break at the restaurant ( cafe was closed ) , this is for sure nothing to write about… we also did the extreme weather exhibition which we enjoyed for it’s educational value. I recommend it for the whole family. We drive from Hamburg especially to visit KlimaHaus
Irene N — Google review
The experience was good, but I recommend it only if you have children. I was there with my girlfriend and we had fun, but we expected more excitement. The rooms are pretty small, but full of details and information and voice instructions. A little bit expensive 18 euro for after 15:00 clock and 20 euro for anytime of the day. For children it is 10-12 euro.

Bremen is a very good place to visit in Germany. I have been to this place with my friends. It was so cold becz it's very close to the sea. Sight seeing is amazing. It's very good location for Photoshoot. It's very clean place. We can go to the top of the building and we can see the entire bremanhafen. I recommend everyone to visit once with your friends.

The U-Boot Wilhelm Bauer is a significant piece of history, having been scuttled in 1945 and later restored to its original state. This diesel-electric Type XXI submarine was commissioned just before the end of World War II but never went on patrol. After being salvaged and re-commissioned for the West German navy, it was eventually converted into a museum ship in 1984.
The U-Boot Wilhelm Bauer Museum in Bremerhaven offers a fascinating glimpse into naval history. Visitors can explore the interior of this historic submarine, gaining insight into the life of its crew and the engineering marvels of its time. The museum provides an educational and engaging experience, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts and those interested in maritime heritage.

This is definitely worth seeing. For me it was the first submarine I saw and visited. The place is amazing and when you only think was this was going through you get goose bumps. The technology itself is marvelous. I Just wished humankind used the brains for better purposes.

A type XXI Uboat yes please! This thing is awesome to be inside, built towards the end of WW2 they were used by many countries afterwards and ahead of their time! It's amazing inside and so spacious! A must visit!

This is the history. 1945 - Launched by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, on 13 January commissioned on 24 February scuttled by crew in the Outer Flensburg Firth on 4 May 1957 - Salvaged from the seabed of the Firth Repair and structural alterations 1960- On 1 September the submarine, having been christened WILHELM BAUER, is commissioned with the service of the ship Testing Command of the German Ferderal Navy. 1968- Decommissioned on 26 April 1970- Recommissioned with civilian crew in the trials unit of the German army on 20 May, serves the needs of development and research for military and civilian purposes 1982- Decommissioned for good on 15 March 1983- Purchase and preparation for museological use 1984- Opens as a Technical Museum at its present berth in the Old Harbour on 28 April
Teo T — Google review
The Type XXI U-boat in Bremerhaven is a truly remarkable piece of naval engineering and an extraordinary glimpse into the future-thinking design of its time. Built in 1945, it represented a technological revolution — decades ahead of its contemporaries. The streamlined hull, advanced battery systems, and emphasis on underwater performance clearly show how far German engineers had pushed submarine design by the end of World War II. Walking through it feels like stepping into the blueprint of modern submarine technology. The contrast becomes even more apparent when compared with other submarines open to visitors in Germany. The ex-Soviet B-515 (U-434) in Hamburg, despite being much newer, feels crude and poorly organized by comparison — a reflection of the lower build quality and materials typical of Soviet mass production. Similarly, the U-461 on display in Peenemünde, a Cold War-era East German missile submarine of Soviet design, is imposing in size but lacks the refinement, efficiency, and innovation that define the Type XXI. What truly added to the experience in Bremerhaven, however, was the personal touch at the ticket office. The elderly man and woman working there were clearly passionate enthusiasts themselves — people who share a genuine love for naval history and submarines. They kindly shared fascinating stories and useful tips about other U-boat-related sites, most of which I had already visited. Their warmth and enthusiasm made the visit feel even more special and personal. All in all, the Type XXI U-boat is not just a museum exhibit — it’s a testament to human ingenuity and a place where history meets passion. A must-see for anyone interested in engineering, naval history, or the evolution of submarine design.
Piotr O — Google review
It is definitely worthy to visit to get a picture of how everything looks in submarines and those who support it. There you may also find places for torpedos and different sections with their own purpose. A fascinating thing.

Very big shopping center(the kind you can get lost in it)with a lot of things to see. You can find all the shops you want and they have few super-markets with good prices. Also if you go out on the Terrace you get a pretty nice view over the city.
Sebastian B — Google review
Lots of closed places, mostly just mobile phones, shoes, senior clothes shops and a bubble tea shop, apart from the usual bakeries and some fast food shops. Curiously a large ice cream restaurant which remains open no matter what economic issues are thrown at it. The car parking is good though. Not expensive and gives you good access to the shops on the high street, which are mostly a repetition of the shops in the centre. Nice for a visit but you see most of it within the first half an hour. One thing I never could stand about bremerhaven though, all the damn vampires.
John G — Google review
Comparing to other shopping malls its too little. You may find what you need or not. The view is interesting at see side and the walking bridge. But after all comparing to others I can give just 3/5

Restaurant Schiffergilde in Bremerhaven offers a delightful dining experience with its homestyle fish dishes, schnitzel, and a variety of beers. The contemporary nautical-themed space adds to the charm of this German seafood restaurant. Visitors praise the excellent food quality, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The portions are generous and highly recommended by patrons who appreciate the love put into cooking each dish.
Visited the restaurant for the labskaus - it was delicious but I don't have other experiences with the dish for comparison. Very friendly service - I felt very welcomed. Good view from the restaurant and lovely atmosphere overall.
Kai T — Google review
Disappointing based on the previous reviews. Though the staff were welcoming and service was good, the food was disappointing. A steak ordered medium was almost well-done and more tough than it should have been. Overall, the food was oily and somewhat bland. This would not be a bad place for a quick meal with low expectations, similar to a pub meal, but there was nothing we experienced that was worth more than 3 stars.

The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Service there was nice and friendly, but a bit slow, when getting the bill (had to ask twice). Atmosphere was rather good with a nice view to the sea, but the place could be a bit cleaner - we had some fries under our desk (probably from last clients).

Restaurant
Restaurant STROM, although initially perceived as a top-notch establishment, proved to fall short of expectations. While the culinary offerings and the amiable staff were commendable, there were certain drawbacks that hindered an otherwise perfect experience. A particular incident occurred during one visit when a large party congregated in the lobby after their meal, causing an inconvenience for other patrons. Despite this setback, the overall service provided by the restaurant was of high quality.
Excellence. Service was good. Food excellent, prices ok. The only issue was the blinding light and heat from the sun.

Restaurant
Lloyd's Restaurant is a charming waterfront eatery located on the harbor promenade, offering a variety of delectable dishes such as schnitzel, burgers, seafood, and salads. The restaurant occupies a historic space that was once used by Norddeutsche Lloyd for its emigrant ships' provisions. Since 2003, Lloyd's has been serving up delicious meals in this picturesque location at the Havenwelten.
Lloyd's Restaurant is a waterfront restaurant which serves a selection of popular dishes. I had a Spaghetti Bolognese which is one of my favourites, and easy for me to see if it's gone wrong! However, this was lovely, came with parmesan cheese, and perfectly filled a gap. It was also very nicely priced. The place and facilities were perfectly tidy and clean. Service was quick, polite and professional. All in all, easy to to go back to one day and highly recommended.
Bruce L — Google review
Great location. Food not bad.
Lawrence R — Google review
NO, THANK YOU. When we arrived, the restaurant was not even half full, yet it was somehow a problem to push two tables together. The manager refused, saying she didn’t want to move them back later – which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Thankfully, our waiter made an effort to calm the situation and improve our experience. Unfortunately, the food ruined it further. My schnitzel was undercooked – this was not about color or being near the bone, it was genuinely raw inside in some parts. My friend’s meal was completely bland and unenjoyable. When staff asked if everything was okay, we politely shared our concerns. Instead of offering a solution, they responded with, “I didn’t cook it, I’m not the chef,” which came across as defensive and dismissive. From start to finish, this was a bad experience – rude and unfriendly staff, poor service, and tasteless, undercooked food.
Ba P — Google review
Very good food. Fast and friendly service. But we were forced to pay a tip of 10%, even when we refused. Knowing from locals that it is not a custom.
Diemer V — Google review
Worst service I’ve had in a while. The manager Helena was extremely rude, the food was tasteless and the entire experience was extremely unpleasant. Do not recommend.
Fili L — Google review
You guys just say “I’m sorry the manager Helene was tired that day we will give her holidays so she can come back with better mood “. And that is! The more you are rude on here the more people can see that it was your fault, and that you will continue to treat others like that lol …. The first encounter with the service was with the manager and she was so rude. Bekim the waiter was nice at least he made the situation less unpleasant I thank him.
Anna T — Google review
Sorry but this was an awful experience. The staff was rude and the food left me with a stomach ache. DON‘T COME HERE! I can’t believe they would put someone like Helena in a position where the rest of the staff calls her the boss bc she was the rudest of them all. When there was any feedback about the food the staff would discuss with us. I have truly never had an experience like this wow

Bremerhaven Zoo, also known as Zoo am Meer, is a modern and scenic zoo located on the waterfront in Bremerhaven, Germany. It specializes in aquatic and Nordic animals, featuring enclosures and saltwater tanks that provide a unique experience for visitors. The zoo underwent a complete overhaul in the early 2000s and reopened in 2004.
Amazing zoo! I managed to see all exhibits species that live in the water or in northern environments. The zoo is very unique to walk through.

Really interesting zoo placed at harbor area in Bremen Haven. Many animals and sea life are to see there and you need some time to come around and see everything. It is also possible to sit down and have a drink or buy some souvenirs.
Bardur D — Google review
I really enjoyed this visit. It was so cool to be able to bring our dog somewhere with us. We got some gorgeous photos of him here to remember our trip. The restaurant food was delicious and not too expensive. There are some really cool underwater viewing points for the seals and penguins. The seals were very entertaining and seemed to be having a lot of fun playing. The gift shop is very small and not much choice. I didn't realize there were polar bears here until I got here which I don't love. I probably wouldn't have come if I knew that, although, they will probably only exist in zoos by 2050 as I read on their display.
Sophie S — Google review
Nice place to visit. Animals, first you can have a look from above the animals and then from under the sea through a window ;) We need 1.5 h to go through the area. I think if you watch a little bit longer you can stay here for 3 h and more. Animals look happy In my mind this zoo has a good animal concept.

It is a very beautiful city, and of course the zoo as well, a little expensive for such little Zoo, but either so bad.
Papa A — Google review

Abedalnaser Q — Google review
Good zoo, although a bit small, they made good use of the space. In general I am always concerned that by going to the zoo I am supporting something I disagree with. However, I do know that often these animals can not be released and have in most cases been rescued from a worse fate. I got the impression that this zoo does care about the animals and that they are treated well. The areas were clean and the animals looked healthy and clean. My children enjoyed the educational aspects of their visit and the admission cost was very reasonable.
Stuart B — Google review
Bremerhaven Zoo is a comparatively small zoo on a waterfront. It is barely a few hundred metres across, but features enough exhibits to allow you to enjoy a visit there for a few hours. The highlight has to be the polar bears. We saw three of them, and their enclosure was massive, with plenty of features and hide away areas for them to hang out in. There were also seals, sea lions, penguins, and other cute creatures. There were plenty of descriptions of all the animals, as well as the threats some of their species face to their future. There was also an aquarium with a display of various marine animals, all well lit and dazzling to look at. The enclosures for some of the animals do look a bit small, but there do seem to be areas for them that you can't easily notice. There is the mandatory gift shop, but this is always good to purchase from as this helps the zoo. There is a good cafe as well, as well as good facilities. The zoo is nicely placed in a great setting which allows for great photos. It is also great for kids due to its size, and good fun. Highly recommended.

Specialty Museums
The German Emigration Center, also known as Deutsches Auswandererhaus, is a large and modern museum in Bremerhaven that tells the stories of over 7 million Europeans who left their homes through the city's port in search of a better life in the New World. The museum showcases real-life accounts and numerous memorabilia, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the experiences of immigrants in Germany.
Great museum, lots of interactive stations to learn about emigration in general and to follow the story of the emigrate you were given. Explains the entire story from the many reasons for leaving, the travel and how it changed, arriving in the new countries, and fitting in once you did. Very well done and enjoyable!

The German Emigration Center is a truly interesting and engaging museum. You’ll find many personal stories from people who emigrated over the years, which makes the experience feel very human and relatable. The entire exhibition is interactive, so you don’t just observe — you participate. There are also thought-provoking questions along the way that encourage you to reflect on your own beliefs about identity, migration, and belonging. A meaningful and well-designed museum experience.

This place is probably my favorite museum to date. If you have ancestors who came from Europe you will probably enjoy this museum very much. I spent 6 hours just in the emigration portion and could have spent more. Ensure you save time for some research, if that interests you. I spent a little over an hour there and they chased me out at 6:00, closing time.
Gweiland007 — Google review
Absolutely amazing museum, especially interesting for immigrants, but also anyone interested in the history of emigration. The rooms allow you to feel like you're immigrating to another continent, replicating the atmosphere of the time and journey. You also get your own card of immigrant to follow their fate, investigating the reasons, process and results of their immigration. There is a lot of information, inserted in atmospheric interiors. For example, you open a tab in the basin to read about daily life on a ship they used to cross the ocean. Audioguide is included and is very helpful. All info is both in German and in English. To take pictures you need to pay an extra 1,5 euros. Spent about 5 hours there, getting tired by the end. The museum is fully accessible (at least for a stroller) with the only exception of one of the toilets. You have to start by coming to an elevator with a staff member, but all the other elevators are easy to find and use.

Echoes of Ancestors in Every Timber! Cruising north from our strawberry-soaked escapades at Karls in Loxstedt, we pulled into Bremerhaven with a whisper of family lore tugging at our sleeves—stories of great-grandparents braving the Atlantic for American dreams. But nothing prepared us for the German Emigration Center; this isn't just a museum, it's a living, breathing portal to the past, hands down the most incredible one I've ever stepped into. Spanning 30,000 square meters of hauntingly recreated ship decks, cramped steerage bunks, and sun-dappled Ellis Island arrivals, it doesn't tell history—it immerses you in it, wave by relentless wave. We wandered (or rather, time-traveled) through the exhibits with hearts pounding: the tearful goodbyes in a mock 19th-century Bremerhaven pier, the salt-sprayed crossings where seasick immigrants clutched faded letters, and those raw tales of endurance—famine-fleeing Irish, pogrom-escaping Jews, dream-chasing Germans like my own kin. Interactive kiosks breathed life into yellowed documents, and holographic storytellers spun personal sagas that blurred the line between exhibit and epiphany. But the gut-punch? The passenger search database. Fingers trembling over the touchscreen, I punched in details from family whispers—age 22, boarding solo from a Hessian village in 1907—and there she was, immortalized on the ship's manifest: "Occupation: Servant. Traveling alone." The details hit like a rogue wave—her ticket number, the scrawled "healthy" stamp, the sheer audacity of a young woman crossing alone as a mail-order bride, heart full of hope and letters from a stranger waiting stateside. Tears? Unavoidable. It cracked open a floodgate, making the abstract agony of her ocean odyssey achingly real: storms that swallowed hope, ports that turned away the weary, and that fragile spark of "maybe America" that carried her through to a new life south of Omaha, building roots in Nebraska's wide-open plains. What started as a "let's peek in" morphed into three hours of soul-stirring revelation, spurring me straight to genealogy apps post-visit, hungry to trace every twist of that solitary quest—from rural farmlands across the Atlantic, and beyond to the prairies where dreams took soil. It's educational wizardry at its finest: poignant without preachiness, vast yet intimate, with English audio guides that wove it all seamlessly for us Yanks. If your roots whisper across the pond (or even if they shout), detour to Bremerhaven's Emigration Center—it's not a stop; it's a reckoning. Mine just got rewritten in salt and stardust. Danke for the inheritance; the journey home feels deeper now.

The most didactical museum you can imagine. It has a clear political program. Totally overcrowded and the museum does not miss any opportunity to educate you. The creepy life size migrants are more like a part of an experience park than a museum

One of the top 3 museums in Germany. This was my second visit and the experience was again very personal and interactive. I always recommend everyone to visit it and live the story of a person on their most important journey.

(Translated by Google) After visiting the German immigrant house, we went to the dining room for a currywurst and a drink! The waitress, Pauline, was extremely friendly, competent, and accommodating! I've rarely been served so well!! :) I absolutely don't understand the review from the man with the plum cake!! Sometimes what you shout comes back from the woods!!

(Translated by Google) The food doesn't get a rating because, after ordering a slice of plum cake, I had to wait about 10 minutes until the "very self-confident, arrogant, and unfortunately only superficially friendly" waitress informed me that the cake she wanted was no longer available! My friend apparently got the last piece, even though we ordered at the same time, and I could see the full baking trays of cake on my way to the restroom in the café right after ordering! It seems as if this "extremely active, dominant" waitress, who couldn't even apologize, had forgotten our order and served the entire baking tray of this cake to a group of traveling seniors in the café/interior! Instead of taking my criticism seriously, I was very arrogantly dismissed with the words: "...that's just what happens..."! Sure...but the way the waitress spoke to guests was inappropriate, completely unacceptable!!! The café could definitely hire more empathetic waitresses in the future!

Mulberry St Casual Food, nestled within THE LIBERTY, offers a delightful dining experience that perfectly complements its upscale neighbor, FINE DINING BY PHILLIP PROBST. With its stylish decor and expansive windows overlooking the New Harbor, guests can savor an array of flavors while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere outside. The attentive service enhances the overall experience, making it a memorable spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Best dinner of my life! Every single ingredient of the plate was perfectly balanced with each other. I can't find not a single detail that I can complain about.
Vasiliki K — Google review
Being in the Liberty Hotel you can expect something, but was really disappointing. A very limited menu to choose from, two choices per course. I had for main the seabass. Small portion pretending to be cuisine, but not very exciting to taste. Desert with cheese was nice. The espresso to finish is a plain insult to Italian coffee. All in all overpriced for limited portions. Will no go again.
Dirk-Jan K — Google review
Dear Chef, we stayed at the Liberty and had dinner at the Casual (booked in advance). Let's be serious, you served us a "Ray" fish (catch of the day) that was already written on the menu a long time ago. A fish (ray) that smelled of ammonia!! Don't tell us it was freshly caught!! The plate served with a white sauce for the fish is fine, but adding a tomato sauce to the same plate mixed with asparagus? What's the point? These same criticisms were made to the server and passed on to the kitchen. We are still waiting for a response from the kitchen...

(Translated by Google) We'd actually like to give the service 6 stars! This was our second time at the Mulberry, first having a cocktail upstairs in the bar and then a table in the restaurant. Honestly, the food was first-class, and we also had a great hand in our menu selection. Our "hostess" at the table was once again absolutely empathetic, gave us an excellent reading, and helped us have a perfect evening. We should eat there more often!

(Translated by Google) A bottle of water for 9.50 is really out of line. The starter was the best part of the meal, a tasty soup and fresh tartare with warm bread. Unfortunately, a 30-minute break followed without any interest from the service side. The main course had a good arrangement but the meat was dry and tough. The pork medallions with asparagus were delicious. Rhubarb dessert and strawberry ice cream without problems. What's wrong with the price of a 3-course menu of €65 is another €14 surcharge! If you can count, the individual parts cost less than in the menu. The price does not match the taste and quality of the food. Serving time was 2 hours. Desert rebarbora a zmrzlina s jahodami bez problémů. Co je špatně k ceně 3 chodového menu 65 EUR je další příplatek 14 €! Pokud umíte počítat tak jednotlivé části stojí méně než v menu. Cena neodpovídá chuti a kvalitě jídla. Doba servírování byla 2 hodiny.

Restaurant
Strandhalle is a delightful eatery situated in a charming 1900s building, offering picturesque sea views and an inviting terrace. This restaurant serves German classics alongside their delectable breakfast and dinner buffets. With its glass-enclosed outside terrace, it provides shelter from the wind while still allowing guests to relish the stunning sunset over the waddensea. The establishment takes adequate precautions for COVID-19 by blocking alternate tables to ensure proper distancing.
Usually don’t like buffets, but the quality the food was very good. Really enjoyed it.

Good quality of food, special offer for lunch with dessert. Wish to have more clean toilets. And I think the price for cup of tea 6,40€ was too high.

Nice restaurant with outside terrace behind glas. Great to prevent you from the wind. Wonderful location to watch the sunset over the waddensea. Even tables are blocked, odd are available to ensure covid 19 distancing. Great menu with just enough entries to choose from. Fish, meat, salad or a small bistro entry. German quality and fair prices.

Restaurant
Restaurant PIER 6 offers a modern maritime atmosphere and a dreamy location with views of the marina. The menu features contemporary meat and fish dishes, prepared using traditional recipes from regional suppliers and farmers. The restaurant also boasts an excellent selection of German wines. Diners can enjoy specialties like steamed cod fillet in root broth or Elmloher free-range chicken saltimbocca.
Good food. It was very hot inside. Not very nice

The place is very chic, with local food, very well prepared, tasty and good. I am coeliac, the personal were attentive and prepared for any questions during plates ordination. On the other hand, the price is also high, at the same standard you eat. Good and expensive. For a special occasion worth it. To be improved, maybe the time of food preparation...(I mean, sometimes with kids is more difficult to wait) and, we asked a prosecco and received another wine, not even sparkling. Having a full wine wall inside, we thought they would be prepared. Again, maybe was only a random mistake...
Monica M — Google review
It's horrible. This is all a very typical example of a tourist place killing a restaurant. People walk along the embankment, people come in anyway, there are a lot of tourists, so you don’t have to worry about quality. The second point is the lack of competition. The restaurant presents itself as a gourmet restaurant, and there are a couple of such restaurants in the city. Therefore, again, you don’t have to worry about quality - there is no competition. In any big city, such a restaurant would immediately go bankrupt with such a menu and such quality of service. I absolutely do not recommend it, terrible service, terrible quality and terrible prices.
Alexander O — Google review
The atmosphere was excellent. Service is so so due to language barrier. It was a busy restaurant but the waiter was attentive. The fish is delicious but I think the risotto was a bit raw. It would be a perfect dish if it is cook a bit longer. Lobster soup was ok, I prefer a slightly thicker version. The butter for bread was delicious. It was a wonderful date night , dessert was nice, sunny evening 🥰

Excellent food. Relaxed environment. A pre-booking is convenient. Appetizers well displayed and a good variety of it. Main course - meat- with excellent quality. Dessert also varied and with quality. Nice selection of wines, mainly German, French and Italians. Price according place: medium/high, depending on what you have order. Really nice location.

Bit pricey/upscale but definitely one of the best, maybe even the best depending on your taste, restaurant(s) in Bremerhaven and surroundings. Food menu has a nice selection of seafood but rotates it's menu every other month so there's always something new. Their drinks are OK-ish, there is some room for improvement on the cocktail selection and quality\preparation, the Gin selection is 👌though. Seating is nice and cozy in the winter and has a *really* nice view of the harbor when sitting outside in the summer.
Simon S — Google review
Modern German cuisine with emphasis on locally sourced food; very friendly staff. Comfortable, modern design with great views of harbor basin right in front of the restaurant. For Bremerhaven circumstances not cheap, but appropriately priced (app. 40 € p. person with drinks). Cheaper lunch options available on weekdays. Highly recommended.
