Thursday Plateau is a picturesque destination characterized by rolling hills covered in lush green grass and meandering streams. The landscape is shaped by the presence of water, which creates a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
Very amazing place overlooking the lake and the green hills,, beautiful view and great place for a picnic

Was one of the most amazing spiritual activities I had done In a while First the road was tough it was thought to get there cuz any mistake and you would fall down the hill However after stressing and anxious driving we were able to make it and it was totally worth it I suggest you going there even if the road got hard and cloudy the end result is amazing

Our visit to Barshamba Highlands was unforgettable, feeling truly like paradise on earth. The breathtaking landscapes, fresh air, and pleasant weather made the trip a wonderful and special time for all of us. We felt as if we were in Switzerland, surrounded by the stunning mountains and the beauty of nature. We had a great time exploring the mountain villages and terraced farms, enjoying the peace and calm away from the city noise. There is a lovely park suitable for cooking and picnics, where we enjoyed spending quality time together and preparing meals amidst the beautiful natural surroundings. This place left a deep impression on us, and I will definitely return many times in the future. I highly recommend everyone visit Barshamba Highlands to experience a unique blend of natural beauty and rich AYBASTI culture.

Beautiful green carpeted hills. A very vast landscape with awesome views. There is a lake that has a walkway. Can see shephards moving their herd in the distance. Road to it is great well paved. There are lots of places to eat and buy souvenirs. Fresh crisp air and very windy. Make sure to go on a clear day otherwise it'll be cloudy and you won't be able to see anything. Toilets are paid and disgusting, would be better to go to ones in the eateries. Would definitely visit again.

Very nice waterfall, clean area, very easy to reach, cars park close to waterfall
Rami I — Google review
The place is wonderful but the road leading to it was awful and i would say dangerous in some parts! Google maps sent us through a very bad route that was unpaved and full of mud slides! Thankfully on the way back we decided to follow a local guy who sent us through a much better way! The waterfall is not that big (not small either), but safe for kids to play in the water around and they sure enjoy the fact of seeing a waterfall & playing next to it! Unfortunately lots of human waste is present in the best areas to set and enjoy the place. A local family lives just at the waterfall top, they offer local food & tea, and by far it was the best Muhlama & Menmen i had in Turkey. The house lady also makes jam and you can ask her to buy some if you want. The seating area they made for guests is not that fancy but sure does the job.
Asma R — Google review
The road to this waterfall if you’re coming from ulugol park is dangerous, come directly from the highway is better for y’all 👍🏻 Although the natural beauty of the area is breathtaking, the site is not clean and some just leave their leftovers of eating and drinking, unfortunately, and are unaccounted for.

Ordu Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ters Ev

Nestled in Ordu, the Ters Ev, or Up-side Down House, is a quirky attraction that has captured the imagination of visitors since its completion by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in 2019. Spanning 150 square meters and featuring two stories, this unique house is literally built upside down with even a small car parked at its entrance. Located just a short two-minute stroll from the popular teleferik (cable car), it offers an entertaining stop for those exploring the area.

At Ne7 Fast&Food, you can indulge in a delightful wrap filled with kashar cheese and perfectly portioned chicken. The generous amount of cheese adds a rich flavor that many patrons appreciate. Families will enjoy the doner kebab served over fluffy rice, which is cooked to perfection and offered at an affordable price. While the food receives high praise for its taste, some customers have noted issues with service efficiency during busy times, suggesting that order management could be improved.

(Translated by Google) It is a very stylish and spacious place located on the beach in Ordu. It's as delicious as a restaurant, as stylish as a cafe and a true bistro. The venue has its own large parking lot and you will not have any parking problems. Large and spacious seating areas overlooking the sea. It has a large camera-monitored children's playground and a stylish indoor area for winter that does not block the view. The flavors are quite good. Presentations are stylish. I tried all of his favorite meatballs, lahmacun, pita bread and soups and I was satisfied with all of them. They are really worth the price and taste even better. The staff is friendly and sympathetic. When we wanted a high chair for our baby, they disinfected it twice, which proved to me how fine they were. I would definitely recommend anyone who happens to be in Ordu to stop by. (Original) Ordu sahilde konumlanmış gayet şık ve ferah bir mekan. Restorant kadar lezzetli, Cafe kadar şık ve tam bir bistro. Quiet cape with a church built in 1868 & after the mythological leader Jason of the Argonauts.

Jason Church Situated on the jason Cape Peninsula, the church has been built in 1869 by Greeks habitants of the area. Lt is a first degree archeological and second degree SIT site. Having a small dome of three apses, light and dark stones have been used on its front. On the interior, the church has been divided into thres naves with two rows of pillars. There are two entrances, one on the South and the other on the west. With renovation efforts started by our governor Kemal Yazıcıoğlu in April 2004, the church has enriched tourism of our city.

Flat grassy point of land surrounded by an unusual flat shelf of rock just below the surface of the water. The old church is pretty, but closed. There are some ruins but no signs to indicate what they were. There are tables and benches. It’s a nice place to come for a picnic.

A must see when in the city of Ordu or near! For me it was a natural wonder, being in the middle of the sea but at the same time on land! Very well maintained, very clean, public picnic tables & seating are available in the place, in addition to sun bathing seats! I recommend having your swimming suits with you when you visit the place as the water will invite you to take a jump! Unfortunately I didn't see a place to change your clothes afterwards but a public bathroom is near the place.

Must visit legendary place! It's a small cape with an old Greek church (closed) and a lighthouse. Full flat so no climbing. There are banks to sit and rest. You're gonna leave your car at the entrance and walk along the cape. You can arrange it like 20 min short overview visit or stay there for some longer time to rest or picnic. No recommended for swimming. Infrastructure like visitors centre, cafe and toilets was still under construction during our visit.
Mili D — Google review

Closed just like the archeological museum of Samsun and Trabzon 🙄! Even without the corona-crisis there is no reason for tourists to visit this whole part of the black sea region! By the way, it's just the road - the church is still in good shape and could be opened anyways...

This place is an excellent spot for photographers. It is a cape. When you stand at the tip of the peninsula sun raises from right and sets to the left. There is a small lighthouse. Not good but ok. Don't forget to take your neutral density filters with you for long exposure shots. Rocks and waves hug each other and you picture them all. Not only Yason cape but also entire district is full of excellent photographic spots. You will want to stop and photograph the landscape, marinas and nature. There is Jason Church as well. Beautiful place. A must see place.

One of the hidden gems of Ordu. The ride on Sahilyolu is itself a treat. The road is very good and offers scenic views of the sea and mountains. There is a small board on the main road which indicates the turn towards Yason Burnu. There is a small parking lot, some eateries and a restaurant and from there you walk up to the light house crossing the church. The area of the lighthouse is very serene and green with a lot of benches and sunbath beds. It's green and right on the coast. Beat views of the sun going down from there. The best part is that it's not flooded with tourists so you can actually sit and enjoy the views in peace. Bathrooms at 2TL and very very dirty. Mayor whose photograph is on a large board may like to take notice to keep this lovely place clean and serene.

Church
Taşbaşı Church, constructed in 1853 and situated on the Black Sea coast, has a rich history. Interestingly, it served as a prison from 1937 to 1977. Although currently closed to visitors, its exterior and surroundings offer picturesque views of historical significance. The church's backyard has been repurposed into an art gallery or similar space for public enjoyment. Visitors can appreciate the beauty of this historic site and its scenic setting by taking a stroll around the area.

The service and the atmosphere was flawless, exceeding the expectations. I've literally spent easy 15 minutes getting mesmerized by one detail after another. Service was personalized, sharp, attentive but not overwhelming. I had a full breakfast, variety was balanced, the taste was matching the nice visuals. Taste of the teas was great, I always had a glass refilled. Toilets were clean, the view was amazing. Out of all, I'd still praise the service at another level. Well done folks.

The Experience was delightful and the service was amazing but my problem was the fact that they don’t speak English but the communication was easy and had no problems with it. And i have to mention the place it self is amazing. About the food: We ordered five meals: 1_ FETTUCINE ALFREDO It was perfect… just perfect down to the last drop. 2_ FETTUCINE SICILIANA Good overall taste but the olive is too much 3_ NAPOLITANO PIZZA Great Normal Pizza nothing special 4_ FUNGO PIZZA Would recommend it over the NAPOLITANO PIZZA and try eating when its hot Great Pizza 5_ CHEESE BURGER Delicious Burger the meat was well cooked. Overall Great restaurant but the prices is a bit high one of the many reasons is the place and it meant to be a place for your celebrations not your weakly dine.

We didn't eat, so I don't know about the prices. We just went to the sea, drank tea and left, we didn't stay long. Driving along the coastal road was beautiful in terms of scenery. The road is single lane, but it is not tiring or dangerous. The staff are very warm. Since it is a place mostly visited by people who know the place and are regulars, those who go there and the owner of the place have now become friends. There is greenery and seating areas. There are parking lots where you can park your car. The Black Sea sea, as you know, is wavy, but of course it changes depending on the weather, but since it is rocky, the sea is clean… I wish you a good holiday in advance… Total rip-off, the cost of a roundtrip ticket is 700 lira for foreigners, seriously? Sorry, but not worth it. Turkey really has to re-think their double standards and policies. After spending 1 month in the country as a tourist I can confim that prices for foreigners are out of control in general (often much higher than Western Europe) and this is extremely annoying and unfair. No wonder that tourism industry is going down.

Pasaoglu Mansion & Ethnography Museum, located in the Selimiye neighborhood of Ordu, is a well-preserved example of Turkish architecture from the 19th century. My 2nd time here. Another museum in Ordu, which located along with the Hazelnut museum in old part of the city. Entrance is free. Public bath
Ordu Kardesler Hamami is a rectangular building located in the central area, featuring faceted stone corners and crushed stone walls. The two-part structure includes a second floor made of wood. Visitors have praised the expertise and friendliness of Haci, who provides an authentic Turkish bath experience with great communication despite language barriers. This traditional bathhouse offers a relaxing and must-try experience for travelers seeking an authentic Turkish spa treatment.
I'm an American traveling in turkey with my swedish friend. We wanted to have the Turkish bath experience but didn't know what to expect. We came about 9 in the morning and they were very friendly and very good at what they do. Even though we didn't speak the same language they were very patient and very good at communicating what we needed to do and it was very relaxing. So happy we did this! 💙💙💙

It's pretty gross. We came here because of the reviews and I don't understand why they are so good. The sauna is very moldy, the whole place smells terrible, the towels they give you smell unwashed. The price was 500 lira (€14) per person for just the public sauna + shower, which seemed pretty expensive for such a place. The guys working there are very nice, but otherwise I have nothing to recommend about this place

Nestled in the heart of Ordu, "Adem Baba" is a hidden gem that truly comes alive after dark. Open 24/7, this cozy spot offers a delightful escape from the bustling city center, especially when the crowds thin out post-midnight. If you're craving something warm and comforting, their lentil soup is a must-try—rich in flavor and expertly prepared.

Don't be fooled by the daytime and evening crowds in Ordu's city center; after midnight, everything is just as fun. It's such a deserted place. I was hungry and looking for a soup restaurant, and they recommended "Adem Baba." I had the lentil soup, and it was very good and delicious. The employee was attentive and respectful. I paid 80 TL. Had the cheddar chicken wrap at Ispirli Pide in Ordu and it was super tasty!! Also tried the lahmacun which was crispy and full of flavor. You can tell it’s a favorite — almost every table had it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!

One of the worst food I had in Türkiye. The liver was almost raw and chewy. What's more, a large portion wasn't even liver, but rather chopped-up pieces of fat. After informing them, the staff simply said "OK" and did nothing, not even reducing the bill. Shameful.

(Translated by Google) What the hell was this, brother? What a fiasco! The waiter entered with such an air, as if he were a royal servant. He just said, "Here you are," but no... Their faces were dirty, there was no interest, their smiling faces were gone. The lahmacun they said was "fresh out of the oven" was uncooked, the bottom was still doughy! I tried to pick it up, but it was soggy and falling apart. They brought the garnishes, as if they were leftovers from last week! The lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes were soggy... And the pickles were making us sick, it was clearly spoiled, my nose was practically broken! You say pita, but the inside isn't even cooked, and the head and foot stuffing is stuffing my nose, such a weight, such a smell. What kind of soup is this? It's like a medicine! They say the place has air conditioning, but they don't turn it on. What kind of air conditioning are you supposed to make? The inside is burning, it's like a tandoor, people are sweating profusely inside. Eating is impossible, it takes guts to even sit down! Flavor? None. Service? It's just a lie. As for hygiene... that's a lie too. I repented when I went to the restroom and left with cologne in hand. Never again? I won't even go near it! I'll give it one star, just because Google knows I've left a review. Don't go there, it's a waste of your money, your stomach, and your nerves! (Original) Ula bu neydi gardaşum, tam bi fiyaskoydi ha! The pide is a special food of the Black Sea region and Ordu as well.. I expected better pide with thin dough and less fat. Their pide was soo buttery and thick. They don't serve any side dish. The staff was friendly. It is in the downtown Ordu, so could be good spot to spend time and eat something. But nothing special.

(Translated by Google) It's a newly opened restaurant called Arz. It's tastefully decorated and spacious. I can say that Ordu has no equal in terms of meze variety and price-performance. However, I don't want to give a negative review because it's only recently opened. We ordered liver, but it arrived uncooked, and we requested it be cooked, and they immediately brought it back. The service is a perfect 10, 5 stars. It's usually full, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. (Original) Arz adıyla yeni açılan bir mekan. Çok zevki döşenmiş ve ferah bir ortam olmuş.
