Historical landmark
Park
Peace Arch is a unique park located on the U.S./Canada border, featuring lawns, gardens, and a monument commemorating the 1812 treaties. Situated at the westernmost point of the border, it allows visitors to freely walk between both countries within the park without passport control. The bright white arch symbolizes peace between Canada and the U.S., and has been a popular spot for cross-border couples to get married during border closures.
Fantastic place to stop and stretch. Beautiful scenery and the gardens are filled with many beautiful flowers, plants and trees. Parking permit required which is $10 if you don't have a Discovery pass. There were lots of border patrol agents making sure we weren't trespassing. Most were friendly. I'd definitely stop again

We recently visited Peace Arch Park and had a wonderful time meeting up with friends from the U.S. It’s a beautiful place and a great spot for international gatherings – thank you for making that possible. We wanted to share a small note about the process. To park, visitors need to use the parking lots on their respective sides – in the U.S. or in Canada. If you want to gather for a barbecue together in the Canadian section of the park, Canadian officers may require you to officially check in at the Canadian border and inform them that you’re just entering the park to meet friends and eat together. However, we also had experiences when the officers simply let us into the park directly without requiring border processing. It seems to vary depending on the situation. We just wanted to share this information for others who might be planning a visit, so they understand how the procedure might work. Thanks again – we really enjoyed our time there!

⸻ Peace Arch is a beautiful and historic landmark right on the U.S.–Canada border. The park itself is very well-kept, with open green spaces, flower gardens, and of course the iconic arch that symbolizes peace and friendship between the two countries. It’s a nice spot to stop, stretch your legs, and take photos while crossing the border. The views are lovely, and there’s a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Parking is available on both sides, and you can walk around freely before or after clearing customs. It can get busy during weekends or holidays, so plan for a bit of extra time if you’re visiting then. Still, it’s a unique place to experience a meaningful piece of history while enjoying a peaceful park setting.

⭐️ Peace Arch Border Crossing – A Beautiful Gateway Between the U.S. and Canada 🇺🇸🇨🇦 I’ve been here twice — once while crossing from Washington into Canada and again to walk around the park. Both visits were amazing! 🌤️ The area is spotless, organized, and surrounded by peaceful green lawns and colorful flower gardens. The Peace Arch Monument is stunning up close — with the words “Children of a Common Mother” and “Brethren Dwelling Together in Unity” carved on each side. It’s truly a landmark that represents friendship and peace. 🌎✨ When I crossed into Canada, the officers were polite and professional. 🇨🇦 I parked my car near the Duty Free area, just as the officer directed — there’s plenty of space there, and you can easily walk around the park and even reach the U.S. side on foot. 🚶‍♂️ There are clean public restrooms, benches, and plenty of open areas for photos or just relaxing. 📸🌳 Everything feels calm and welcoming — a great stop for travelers, families, or anyone who enjoys unique border landmarks. 📍 Tip: Come on a sunny morning for the best light and easy parking.
Lior M — Google review
It was my first drive across BC and Washington and The Peace Arch monument stole the show for me. It’s on the USA-Canada border. It was built in 1921 and it celebrates peace and friendship between the two countries. Visitors enjoy the beautiful gardens and the unique experience of standing in both nations at once. Have captured few pics just to showcase how serene and beautiful it as it provides unique experience of standing across both countries simultaneously. Truly historical.
Thanh V — Google review
A must-see park where you can visit Canada and America at the same time. It's like a neutral zone - filled with history. The Peace Arch itself is quite impressive. There are several beautiful flowering gardens and lush green grass areas to picnic & rest. A big parking lot and the restrooms are very clean.
Wildcraft R — Google review
Located right on the Canada–US border, Peace Arch Park is a unique stop featuring the historic 20-metre-tall Peace Arch, a lasting symbol of friendship and peace. With its expansive lawns, beautifully maintained flower gardens, picnic areas, and walking paths stretching into both countries, it offers a serene and memorable atmosphere. The park hosts cultural events year-round and provides a one-of-a-kind experience, making it a must-visit for photography enthusiasts.
Mehmet G — Google review
It’s a great place to just go to the park and experience the border and the beautiful ocean Horta to meet up with friends from the other side. DO NOT cross into the parking lot in Canada!!! I thought it was laxly controlled, and I didn’t pay attention when I stepped into the parking lot last week. Several minutes later, I was apprehended by an RCMP officer. I’m a dual citizen, and they checked me out fairly quickly, but they firmly reminded me not to cross over the line of bushes into the parking lot. Enjoy your time there, but don’t stray!

Nestled in Surrey, BC, Redwood Park is a tranquil oasis that beckons nature lovers and families alike. This enchanting park features picturesque trails that meander through majestic redwood forests, lush groves, and open meadows—ideal for leisurely walks or delightful picnics with loved ones. Among its charming attractions is a whimsical fairy garden hidden within the towering trees, captivating both children and the young at heart with its ever-growing collection of tiny fairy houses.
A place we visit often - beautiful park and love the fairy garden. Family and stroller friendly. Lots of parking and hard to get lost. Last time we went we did come across a few very muddy areas with no ways around so don't bring nice shoes and bring a extra pair of socks. Of course to be expected since it outdoors but has been many times and never had the issue so we're underprepared.
Katelyn M — Google review
This is a very pretty park, we visited during a rain shower but still lovely. Ideal place for dogs and children with lots of open space and picnic tables. Well maintained walking trails and ample parking.
Jenn L — Google review
One of the BEST parks our family has been to! Shade, shade, shade! The forest was a treat. We stayed for 3+ hours playing, walking, and delighting in the fairyland! Don’t miss this one if your family likes playing outside.
Caroline M — Google review
Amazing park!! Loved the Fairy Garden with all the little houses. Amazing little houses, even more than the last time we were here. Great playground for the kids, great trails. Also has public restrooms.
Shawna S — Google review
Absolutely beautiful park packed with Redwoods and other amazing trees. Well maintained and very peaceful. Great place to bring the kids to expend energy as there is a play area as well as a fairy village. There are relatively clean and accessible public washrooms but they are quiet old. Great sheltered seating areas for those short notice showers or BBQ sunny days.
Gareth G — Google review
Short 10-15 min trails makes a decent stroll with toddlers, strollers, and seniors. There are multiple picnic areas depending on what context you're going for: by the playground, own larger field, views, etc. The diversity of tall trees in the park makes an interesting walk. Other highlights: Meadows, treehouse, stroller/wheelchair access playground feature, vast bird house displays. We'd come here again for the picnic and stroll.
Angel A — Google review
Went for a walk here with my husky today. All around beautiful, nice clean well maintained bathrooms, a huge plus. Playground looks nice, I'm sure my kids will love it when I take them next time. Trails were nice, albeit a tad covered in debris and I was hoping it would be a bit bigger to navigate around. But all around really enjoyable. Will definitely be back.
Ardi N — Google review
Such a fun experience here! Walking amongst the redwood trees is a beautiful experience. The hut was closed when I visited, but the park has abundant picnic spots and is very accessible for everyone. The fairy forest most definitely stole the spotlight away!

Outlet mall
The Surrey area offers a variety of shopping options, including malls, plazas, and independent retailers catering to different needs such as clothing, home decor, technology, and more. Guildford Town Centre is a large-scale shopping destination with diverse stores like Aldo and Zuri. Payal Plaza spans four blocks and houses over 300 shops along with dining options. The Shops at Morgan Crossing provide an upscale yet practical shopping experience with a mix of boutiques and everyday stores in an open-air setting.
My favorite place to visit so far are Winners , the shoes company and Thrifty foods. I really liked this place. Even have a cute playground for my daughters to take a break then shopping again. Public washrooms around, so convenient and clean. Plus thing that I never seen before but here they have it is umbrella. They provide it for you around , so awesome! Many restaurants there that I wanted to try so will go back often. Our favorite place 😉
Aom H — Google review
Really cute outdoor shopping area. Nice mix of fashion, fitness, beauty, and food spots. The vibe is relaxed and it’s a great place for a casual stroll. Parking is free and usually easy to find.
Val T — Google review
Enjoyed many of the stores here at Morgan Crossing. Busy mall with limited parking avail. Disability parking is available. Many child friendly stores and groceries.
Larry F — Google review
More like The Rats at Morgan Crossing. This complex is infested with rats and mice. I wonder why they haven’t done anything about it as you can’t walk outside without a rat running across somewhere.
Martin — Google review
Pretty decent play place. There is a large play/climbing apparatus for the kids (adults can fit too😆). My toddler loved the three colored slides! It was pretty busy when we were there, but luckily all the kids were fairly respectful but I could see when it gets crowded some little ones might get run over. The toddler play area needed some work there wasn't much to do in it. Could have used some blocks for them to build/climb on. The food prices were reasonable (it is just fast food options: fries, hot dogs, and chicken strips and popcorn. Lots of tables for parents to sit at while the children play!
Andrea H — Google review
Nice place for walking around if not shopping. The street has its great appeals: curved street, classic street lamps, bricked walking paths, contemporary resting benches, pretty plants and flowers, as well as polite drivers.
Wanchun S — Google review
We didn't even know this was a sort of "Factory Outlet" place and really enjoyed walking around. Our favourite stop was Everything Wine. 😁
Mike B — Google review
Many shops around. The indoor playground was fun for my toddlers to play in. The space is big enough for a full size adult to climb on. The shops are quite new. There is an outdoor playground for parents to sit and the children to play. I wasn't comfortable for my kid to play by the water fountain right beside the outdoor playground though. The only down side is that I couldn't figure out how to enter the mall on Google map the first time I came here. So I parked quite far away in the nearby residential street parking. You should try to map it and understand where the entrance is before you come if it's your first time.

CompPerson H — Google review
Convenient mall with the basics covered. You’ve got a grocery store, pharmacy, a few clothing shops, and some food spots. Super easy to navigate and usually not too crowded. Great for quick errands or a chill walk indoors. That said, it’s not the most exciting mall around. Could use a few more dining options or trendy stores to liven things up a bit. Still a handy place to have nearby.
Val T — Google review
This particular mall has plenty of shops from dentistry, food store, banks, food court, shoes stores, investors groups, drug store, gas station, fast food restaurants, dollar stores, and others. During the lockdown some business closed permanently, now the remaining business are trying to start again. The mall administration have managed to bring larger department such as Winners, and Fitness World. Perhaps new business will follow. Their operating hours: Monday to Saturday 11:00 to 18:00 hours . Sunday 12:00 to 17:00 hours. Some shops open from 11:00 to 16:00 as they struggle to continue. One could think that opening longer hours will help to reestablish the economy, however there isn't enough capital to pay salary. Visit local business when considering a purchase or services. Wheelchair accessible common areas and stores. Wheelchair accessible parking near the entrance of the mall. There is plenty of parking available all around the mall.
Gisz L — Google review
Had a nice shopping day at the mall. The space is clean and bright, with plenty of seating to rest and even enjoy a bit of sunbathing. You can basically find anything you need here.
Judy H — Google review
This is a great little spot for a quiet relaxing brunch. Don't expect to get out of here in a hurry on a Sunday though. Still great food, and nice staff but the regular senior customers do need extra service which can make waits happen.
James — Google review
An older mall, sure needs an update. Just one level, part of a bigger plaza. Doesn't really have much in the way of modern tendy retailers like Lululemon or Ariztia, a small food court, and a few local businesses. At least there's a Purdys chocolates ;) Fitness World and Homesense are the main anchors along with Save On Foods but it seems geared towards the older mature crowd, probably because of the demographics. At least it's not as rowdy nor bustling like Metrotown Mall or downtown Robson.
Patricia S — Google review
My wife and our son would always visit Semiahmoo Shopping Centre always first before going to White Rock or Crescent Beach. We find the Shopping Centre very convenient because it offers various retails stores with aunthentics items being sold, a big supermarket, a food court and parking lots that surround the Shopping Centre. We will always return to this Centre.

Blackie Spit, located in Surrey, Canada, is a nature park nestled on the shores of Boundary Bay near Crescent Beach. It offers a 5-km nature trail and an off-leash dog area. The park features sandy beaches, tidal flats, and salt marshes that showcase diverse coastal ecosystems. As part of the Pacific Flyway, it's renowned for bird-watching with opportunities to spot shorebirds and waterfowl such as sandpipers and yellow-rumped warblers.
Peaceful and quiet place to visit. I lived in Vancouver for over 20 years but it's my first time to visit Blackie Spit. It's a great place for walking with family. There is a dog swimming area where I found it very unique. There are some restaurants and bakery nearby, where I highly recommend people to visit as well. Search for Google review is always a good idea. This is how I found this place as well.
Peter L — Google review
Beautiful park where you can go for a swim, a stroll, or check out wildlife. Sand and pebble beach. Be prepared with sunscreen as there is limited shade from trees. Parking may be difficult and it was very busy when we went on the weekend. No dogs permitted except in certain off-leash areas.
May Z — Google review
Nice place for stroll. Or day at beach if you get there early on a nice day. Tidal beach, so silty more than sandy. Parking is a nightmare when busy. Someone blocked us in yesterday, was an hour to get out. Dog friendly beach just before spit area. Spit is wildlife/bird protected and nesting area. So no kites, no drones or dogs.
Jean H — Google review
I love Blackie Spit! It's beautiful! It's our favourite spot to walk our dog, picnic, and paddle board. Love the beach and the park, and also the beautiful neighbourhood. This place is a wonderful place to bring your family and your furry friend, and also for people who love photography.
Rieke I — Google review
Beautiful ocean location. Very busy but very pleasant. Everyone is polite and everyone has dog etiquette. There is an off leash area which is quite a good size. An under cover area if it rains. Lots of beach access and different terrain. Benches to chill and enjoy the view. Come sit and watch all the different dogs and their owners go by. Dip your feet in the ocean or just post up and have and insta photo shoot.
West D — Google review
We took the dog here for a walk this evening with the famjam just before the sunset. The smell of the ocean and the sunset was amazing. Just a beautiful spot to go. Lots of people out enjoying the evening here as we were. The parking lot closes at 8pm (why so early!). Also dogs are only allowed here from September to May - so bring the mut here while you can lol. The sunset this evening was fantastic. Great way to spend the evening before the impending rain!
Chris L — Google review
The beach and the park area were great. The park was kept very clean and had picnic tables. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The walk in the fresh air was amazing. There was beautiful homes along the water. What a great place for fishing crabs too. My friends and I had a great time there.

Very relaxing place to spend time and you do not have to exit your vehicle to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The sea water is very calm and you can watch boats and people on the water. There is a rental here for water crafts like boats and paddle boards if you want to try them out you can rent them per hour. This is a hidden gem worth visiting.

Crescent Beach, located in South Surrey, has been a beloved destination since 1909. This long and rocky beach offers kid-friendly tide pools and stunning views of the bay and distant mountains. Visitors can enjoy a day filled with activities such as swimming, beach volleyball, scenic walks along the pier, and nature trails. The area also boasts Northview Golf & Country Club with two fantastic courses offering beautiful mountain views and friendly service.
Good for a casual evening stroll with your partner. Gets really busy during summers and it's really difficult to find parking during peak season.

Summer afternoons are perfect for a bit of sunbathing like this. I stayed here for a while, feeling quietly at peace, with a clear view of Point Roberts in the distance. It’s also a nice spot for a picnic
Judy H — Google review
Lowkey the better beach in White Rock. Quieter, stunning sunsets, communal, and lovely waves grazing the shore. Enjoy nearby gelato spots, fish and chips, and other eateries. A must come at sunset. There's a long seaside gravel path to walk along, with some parts separating to get closer to the shores, with many benches to sit on. The entire length is probably ~3 km. There's a smaller pier towards the northern part of the beach too. Especially lovely in off-season times of year, quieter and you can really hear the gentle brushing of the tides. Washrooms in several spots along the beach.
Theos — Google review
The sandy shoreline and calm waters make it perfect for a relaxing day by the ocean. Great for walks, picnics, or just soaking in the sunset. The atmosphere is peaceful, family-friendly, and scenic—definitely a must-visit spot for nature lovers and beach-goers!

Chill vibes, soft sand, and calm waters—perfect for sunset walks or a quiet swim. The promenade is lovely, and there’s a real community feel with local cafés nearby. Downsides? No lifeguards, limited parking, and the beach can get rocky in spots. Not flashy, but peaceful and low-key. Great for unwinding without the crowds of White Rock.
Hyun P — Google review
Crescent Beach is a relaxed seaside spot with a long sandy shoreline, calm waters, and a friendly neighborhood vibe. It’s great for walking the promenade, grabbing ice cream, or watching the sunset from the pier. Families enjoy the shallow water and grassy picnic areas. Downsides: parking can be a headache on sunny weekends, and the beach isn’t as wide or sandy as some others in the region, with more pebbly sections. Still, it’s a charming, low‑key alternative to busier beaches.
Mohsen G — Google review
Our favorite beach to visit. So much fun everytime. Long trail to walk, so beautiful when water tide out you can walk for kilometers on the sand so cool. Beautiful sunset, good foods there and clean washroom so what else do you want except for the limited parking but we always lucky to get one :D

Mud Bay Park in Surrey, British Columbia is a popular destination offering scenic shoreline trails along Boundary Bay. The park is known for its diverse range of waterfowl and serves as an important bird preservation area. Visitors can enjoy a 3-kilometer nature walk with stunning views, especially during sunset. Keep an eye out for seals and loons when the tide is high. Note that dogs, bikes, and horses are not allowed on the shoreline trails from fall to early spring.
A beautiful place to walk and lots of birds around. My 95 year old friend was even able to do it with her walker
Debbie P — Google review
Great park to get out for a stroll, there are plenty of great views from the shoreline. Dogs love it, lots of scents for them to check out as the park is abundant with wildlife (use a leash as the trails provide limited space to pass).
Tim K — Google review
I love this park! From the parking lot all the way to the delta boundary and then back through the view points is a quick 5.2km loop. I do this walk sometimes right after work. People I meet on the trail are friendly. Cons: Sometimes people don't pick up after their dogs. Traffic noise can be bothersome for some people. But I don't mind it.
Ryan P — Google review
It's an open seaside trail along the Boundary Bay. There is a nice breeze all along due to open space and proximity to the sea. Ideal for biking as well. We went there with a 2 year old. He didn't seem to enjoy much as there wasn't much variety along the trail. Also it can get a bit too sunny. There is construction at the parking site. There are no public washrooms but there is a portable toilet due to the construction site. It's not the best trail in this area although not a bad one for a one time try. There are boards with pictures of migratory birds. I guess it will be a great sight during the season.
Souvik B — Google review
One of my favorite places to take a stroll with the family. Beautiful views and easy enough to take a very enthusiastic toddler/little kid on. The walkway by the highway can get a bit noisy (obviously). Great place to take family, engagement, etc. pictures, too! Updating with summer pics :)
Josie M — Google review
Great park.. it's a bit out of the way to get to the entrance... The loop runs around the shoreline where you can enjoy views of the bay and the mudflats.. fantastic area for photography with the setting sun.. the area inside the loop is an ecologically sensitive area, so keep to the trails only.. the trail runs all the way along the shoreline to the boundary bay dike and beyond. Lots of mosquitoes after sundown, so plan accordingly. Do not go by the times mentioned on the Google maps listing. They list the Surrey city timings.. I have a picture of the park timings attached with this review. It is a great area for bird watching during the season and a good place to see some raptors as well
Arvindh R — Google review
The trail is gravelly and pretty flat. It's a bit narrow given the fact that it's used by cyclists, people with dogs, runners and regular walkers. There's ample parking space but it can quickly run out on good sunny days. Many sections are pretty close to the main road and with the traffic noise it feels you're on the road instead of on the trail. We saw a couple of eagles and other birds. So a good place for birds watchers. Overall a good place for a long walk amidst nature.

Great place for a flat bike ride that is isolated from any traffic at all. Wonderful place for kids to learn pedaling. Nice airport to stop for lunch halfway through the ride. Plenty of rest spots along the beach. Can get a bit windy at times but overall great.

The food is okay, just run of the mill pub food. The prices are actually quite high. $18 for wings which feel like a happy hour mini size is a little to much. The restaurant feel and atmosphere however are really nice. It’s a great place to grab a beer and burger.

Quite satisfied with what we received, both in food and service. Waitress’ were on point, food was excellent. Building is super nice and comfortable, a set standard for dining out. Prices are high but this is the world we live in now, don’t blame local Canadian places for it. Enjoyed our time here!

Tried the happy hour for the first time. The greeter was friendly and seated us in the bar area. The server was prompt and our order was taken and delivered in a timely fashion. The food was tasty. We will try the patio on our next visit . The bar area is a little loud and noisey but after all this a bar.

Had the sweetest server it was really busy and she took care of us so well and was super sweet and friendly too! My wings were awesome off the happy hour menu and my friends loved their sliders and steak bites! The sangria was great and the happy hour red wine was surprisingly good. (Not fancy) but that’s what you get for a six dollar wine and I was pleasantly surprised compared to some of the others I’ve had!

Food has always been good everytime we have come. They have a great happy hour menu with lots of choice. Their combo skillet on the dinner menu is really good if you feel like splurging on yourself. Dinner time is definitely noisier as they crank the music. Go earlier if you want quiet.

Food was ok. The atmosphere was nice. Enjoyed the service, food could be better, I'm no chef but I can make food like this at home with more flavor.

Very nice atmosphere, service is always great, but the food....they taste exactly like the frozen groceries one. We ordered the pizza and we are sure it was the same we bought at Walmart, frozen. It's a good place to have a drink but I was never lucky in the food.

Fast food restaurant
Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers & fries.
I'll give this location credit for constantly giving bad service and old food. I don't get a craving for this food often, and when i order from here it really helps me have fast food craving less and less. Today, i asked for a big mac and a 10pc nuggets with 2 hot mustard sauce. I had to pull over and wait in the drivethru (they weren't busy). And I get an order with ultra stale deflated nuggests... enough to make me think they were made yesterday. They forgot the sauce, and the Bigmac patties were extra salty. Wholey unsatisfactory, and this review will remind me to never return.

No one wears gloves anymore and touch your burger and fries with their bare hands. I even commented and was told this is always how they do things, I'm pretty sure not true. Also quite sure I got violently sick from eating at this location. Had gone downhill, change in management maybe.

This location has gotten 10x worse in the last 2 years. Not only food quality, but staff aswell. It seems that’s none of the employees can understand or speak English properly, why hire these people? If u can’t speak or understand the language, don’t work in a customer service job where u are required to speak English. Also maybe even hire a new manager because the one working today around 5:45pm today. wouldn’t admit his employees mistake and got confrontational instead.

I don’t know how but these locations I swear they are just throwing together whatever they feel like instead of listening to basic instructions. Some manners would be nice too considering the orders are never right.

If I could rate this -1, I would!!! It's ridiculous how there's so many staff and managers and not a single one can make an iced coffee within 2 minutes. I just waited 10 mins for an Iced coffee that wasn't even made right!! Never go to this location. So many staffs but they're all just either walking or standing around pretending to do something, instead of tending to their customers. So disappointed with their customer service!
Eunora G — Google review
I had a terrible experience at this McDonald’s. After eating here, I ended up with stomach pain and diarrhea just a few hours later — clearly something was wrong with the food. To make things worse, the staff were rude. Employees even take photos with my kid without asking for my permission, which was completely unacceptable and made us very uncomfortable. Definitely not coming back to this store again.
Lily N — Google review
Am I the only one disgusted and outraged by the drug users smoking fentanyl or slumped over next to the side entrance of this location? I must be because I'm not seeing any other comments about it. I haven't been in this location since someone overdosed in the bathroom when we were there with grandchildren, but I walk by daily and it's constant. I've tried complaining to staff, management but they do nothing. FYI - decriminalization of street drugs was reversed in this province a year ago. Meaning, police now have the power back to confiscate drugs, move them on, or arrest if necessary. But here's the catch - staff must call the police.

Pacific Northwest restaurant (Canada)
The Cabin Restaurant is a charming establishment near Crescent Beach in Surrey, BC, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere for a delightful dining experience. The menu features a variety of Canadian and American dishes inspired by the Pacific Northwest, including seafood, steaks, gourmet pasta, and gluten-free options. Dishes like lobster ravioli and surf and turf are among the delectable offerings. The restaurant also boasts a full bar with craft brews to complement the flavorful meals.
I've been wanting to visit this place for over TWO years! And BOY am I ever glad I finally made it tonight! The atmosphere is buzzing, but not too loud! Great energy! The staff are superb! And the food... we had the calamari starter, crispy, a little bit of spice and an amazing sauce for dipping! Stuffed chicken with a mushroom gravy, fresh green beans with mashed potatoes for myself, and my husband had the special halibut of the night! To die for! I am recommending this to ANY person who wants a nice date night at a very reasonable price! Great local restaurant! Be sure to make a reservation!
Sanna — Google review
The restaurant appears to be quite nice, they're online presence certainly indicates that way. In person the restaurant actually is quite cozy, not a big place, but cozy nonetheless. I ordered the fish and chips, this came with two small pieces of fish compared to other fish and chip restaurants that I have dined at and subsequently reviewed. The chips were good with the exception of I had a lot of little crunchy pieces of chips. Something that you wouldn't really expect to receive at a restaurant such as this. My partner ordered a seafood dish, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We chose not to order the steak, due to the fact the customers seated at the table next to us what complaining about the texture and how it was cooked. When those folks left, and new people were seated they were given two menus one a menu that we were given which contained all of the items that were available, in addition to this they were also given a smaller menu, with some interesting choices, including desert. The price was a little less than what my bill came to. Had we chose to have dessert are bill would have been about 25.00 more. this made the alternative menu they were given more attractive. Unfortunately this menu was not given to us. The restaurant if you haven't dined here before is worth checking out, despite the several issues we had experience there

So me and my wife ordered the calamari, the fish cakes, the halibut and chips and the seafood chowder and honestly each dish blew me away. Customer service was amazing. We got away. Everything came out at the same time food cook perfectly highly recommend.

The Cabin is our favourite spot to wind down after a long hard day. The staff are always welcoming, the food is consistently delicious, and yes, they serve Fat Tug!

Went to the Cabin last night for dinner as a walk in. We were lucky to get a great table as long as we were gone before the reservation came in. The service was excellent and very fun. We didn’t feel rushed, the food came out quickly, and wow was it worth being there. The clam chowder is so ridiculously craveable that I might have to get more today. Great drinks, every dish was delicious, and looking forward to go back to start working through the menu from beginning to end. Well worth trying and becoming a regular.

This place was really good!!!!! The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, in a rustic way. The staff is amazing, Keith was our waiter, they go above and beyond to help you. A member of our table wasn't feeling well, Keith offered a concoction of a drink to help ease their stomach and it worked like a charm. The food was amazing, we all agreed it was a little on the salty side, but still very enjoyable. This restaurant is located close to the beach, but not too close, parking can get pretty limited so try to show up earlier as parking can be sparse at times, this is a beach location after all. Again the staff here were amazing, great experience, great food and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Naomi S — Google review
I've been to the cabin several times over the past 3-4 years and the food has been consistently good. I really enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant itself. It is intimate and cozy. They have 2 menus a lunch menu and a dinner menu with more options. From the dinner menu I highly recommend their steamed mussels 10/10, and garlic prawn appetizer, their seafood cioppino hotpot, stuffed chicken and beef short ribs. Crème brûlée for dessert is also a recommendation. From their lunch menu the halibut burger is my go to (so fresh) with a side of clam chowder. Pictured below is the calamari (also good), the halibut burger with a side of clam chowder.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner at the cabin, and tried the daily special, which was a halibut and prawn over saffron, coconut rice and vegetables. The other dish was a pasta Alfredo with prawn. Quaint ambiance and lots of happy customers. Definitely try out the dessert cake with chocolate and peanut butter!!

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Morgan Creek

Restaurant
This trendy yet informal chain eatery specializes in classic steak and seafood fare. The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Morgan Creek is renowned for its exceptional service and consistent high quality. Notably, their bread and butter are praiseworthy additions to any meal. Among the popular menu items, the longstanding favorite is the delectable mushrooms Neptune. While primarily known for their meat dishes, the seafood options at this establishment are equally impressive. Another must-try is their mouthwatering Billy Miner pie.
This place has always been a go to steakhouse because it is so close to us. I would like to say that our server Debra E. Was so wonderful and made our dining experience very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend coming to this Keg for great service and the food is amazing as well! Since we were celebrating my birthday, we (wife and I) got two 20oz Rib Steaks with two twice baked potatoes and the garnish was green beans sautéed mushrooms and I believe a turnip as well. One Med and the other Med Rare (MR) we usually get the bone taken out but this time we forgot to ask, but nonetheless it was delicious! Next my son had the Cheesy noodles (macaroni with white cheese) and his eyes lit up when he took his first bite. We chose the veggie sides for him and it came with assorted vegetables like asparagus, bell peppers and broccoli. For my daughter we got her the chicken strips with fries. She eats anything so it’s hard to tell if she enjoyed it more than a fast food joints chicken strips. My wife enjoyed a 9oz of the Sumac Ridge Cab/Merlot with her steak and said the pairing was just right. Afterwards the kids got their ice creams and had the choice of chocolate or Carmel drizzle. Needless to say we got one of each and to our surprise Debra brought out a Billy miner pie (ice cream cake) with a lit candle on top for us to enjoy the last part of our dinner experience. (I tried taking a picture before the carnage but the kids could not wait…) Price: We chose to get one of the more expensive steaks because we were celebrating my birthday so the price for the steaks is actually on point. The kids meals are great because it comes with so much variety, from main dish, sides, drink and desert. So their meals are definitely worth the amount they charge. ⭐️ Portion/palate: Because we had steaks for our dinner the portion is dependent on the amount of ounces you choose. The garnish and the sides also make the difference (baked potato, twice baked, fries and seasonal vegetables for the garnish). We love steaks and so it was very delicious to us both. Also the kids loved their food as well. ⭐️ Place: This location again is perfect for us because we live so close. There is sufficient parking but if you come lets say during Mother’s Day or dinner time (5 to 7pm) you’re driving around looking for a spot. But we come early so there is plenty of spots for our vehicle. The restaurant itself is very nice inside and has lots of room. It doesn’t feel congested and you don’t feel rushed to leave as soon as you arrive. ⭐️ People: The people working here are always amazing to us. I have yet to have a bad experience at a Keg restaurant. We sat close to the kitchen so I could see how the staff were while we waited for our food and it seems like everyone was busy but always had a smile on. ⭐️ This restaurant deserves 5 stars because it met all my requirements for me to rate it. Mostly the service was great, Thank you to the staff for always making it memorable and to Debra E. Thank you again for helping make my birthday easy and fun for the kids!( If you’re a parent you’ll understand)

This is my local Keg and one of my favourite local spots. Last night, our server, Donovan, was absolutely awesome. Best part of the meal (and the food was great!)
Harrison R — Google review
A few days ago, my friends and I had already planned to take advantage of this year’s Dine Out Vancouver event and give it another try. We chose The Keg, knowing that while it might not be mind-blowing, it would definitely be a safe bet. Our reservation was for 7 PM last night, and this morning, we realized just how lucky we were—turns out, yesterday was the last day of Dine Out, and we managed to catch it just in time! The $55 set menu at The Keg was as consistent as ever—not overly surprising, but solid and reliable. One of our favorites was the Keg Ceasar salad super tasty! We also added $5 for the Steakhouse Cut Bacon, which was incredibly flavorful, with a rich, smoky aroma enhanced by the sweet chipotle glaze. For the mains, we had the Prime Rib (10oz Ribeye Steak) and French Onion Sirloin (8oz Sirloin with Caramelized Onions and Grana Padano). Both steaks were cooked to perfection—tender and juicy. I particularly loved the Baked Potatoes, which paired beautifully with sour cream, adding a rich, creamy texture and a great burst of flavor. The desserts were the real highlight! Initially, I wanted to order the Spanish Coffee, but someone convinced me not to, worried that the caffeine might keep me up all night. So instead, we went with the Cheesecake and Billy Miner Pie, and both turned out to be absolutely amazing! The cheesecake was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the fruit topping, while the Billy Miner Pie—a mocha ice cream cake with a chocolate crust, fudge, caramel, and almonds—was simply divine. Sweet but not overwhelming, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, The Keg remains one of the most safe and reliable choices for Dine Out Vancouver—nothing too adventurous, but never a disappointment. The value for money is fantastic, making it a solid pick year after year!

My family and I were there yesterday and unfortunately my husband had a fall at the entrance of the restaurant. The staff were truly amazing in taking care of him. From the young man (bar manager?) that stayed with my husband waiting for the paramedics to our waitress (Madison?) and gentleman, i think he was the manager ( sorry, didn't get you names) that checked on us while we celebrated my daughter's and my birthday. As always, the service and food is excellent. We come to this location from Langley, as it has always been awesome and will continue to do so. Thank you again to everyone that was involved in helping and serving us.
Yara C — Google review
We ordered two thanksgiving dinners for pickup and the presentation was not very impressive. The turkey was cut into tiny little pieces not slices as advertised. The carrots were still crunchy and the potatoes were still lumpy. We did like the gravy and stuffing and the portion size was good. We normally order thanksgiving dinner from a different restaurant but decided to splurge on the keg and we were left disappointed and it didn't reach keg standards and not worth the money.
Amanda H — Google review
I brought my family and friends here for Thanksgiving dinner. Dailen, our server was excellent and took amazing care of our needs. The Turkey Dinner was fantastic and we couldn't believe the size of the portions. I know this is the first time this store has offered this turkey dinner but if they offer a Christmas dinner this year, we will make a reservation for us. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
Bill T — Google review
Enjoyed the blue cheese steak and crab cakes. The blacked chicken was very tasty. Bryan gave great service.
Rebecca T — Google review
Took a party of eight for their Thanksgiving dinner special. Our dinner only resembled the picture poster in the fact it was all only white meat. A scant bit of gravy and cranberry sauce, with not sliced, but left over scraps of turkey. Although it was served on nice hot plates. The seating booth design would not allow the servers to access four of our guests. So we had to keep passing down their water, wine, food, coffee etc etc. The Cheesecake came frozen. The excuses given were, sorry we ran out of dark meat and the cake is frozen because we didn’t except this many orders for turkey dinner. HELLO, you should have known because you took the reservations, and the place was packed. Previous dinners were great. Don’t know what happened last night, poor management decisions I guess.

We go to the park quiet often and to see it light up so beautifully was awesome. Plus it’s free. Do enjoy the lights this year, only till 18 Nov 2022. They also have some food carts available. And you do need to prebook the visit times.

Bear Creek Park is an amazing park for your family to enjoy. This park has a lot things to do from a outdoor swimming pool, water park, soccer field, picnic areas, track and field, workout equipment, football field, seating for the football field, a train, mini golf, a flower garden and lots more.

Large beautiful park in the heart of Surrey. The park has an athletic field, garden, kids playground and park. There is also a mini golf and train which we could not explore. The parking is spacious and lots of open slots on a Friday evening. The kids playground has a lot of equipment including a merry-go-round, different kinds of swings, see-saws, slides, spray park, etc. Only downside was the restrooms are being reconstructed and they have makeshift portable toilets. Overall, it is good and definitely worth a visit especially for the well-maintained garden.

Very nice park with lots of various amenities. There's a train ride for the children, areas for picnicking including BBQ tables. Tennis courts baseball diamond a football field which is located in the middle of the 400m track, where people can run more briskly walk or stroll. Currently under construction is the new Surrey event Pavilion. This looks to accommodate approximately 2,200 people put the various events that they hold here in Surrey. What aspect of walking around the track that isn't so pleasant is the smell that comes from the sewage located at the entry to the track at the north east corner.

I walk at this park with my dog on a daily basis. It takes me 2+ hours for a full and complete walk. It's very relaxing. You can see a lot of birds, squirrels, and people walking their dogs, and even rabbits. There's lots of small rivers. Many beautiful trees. There's also many tables for yourself to eat with family. A track field too where a lot of people go to. I'm always relaxed when I go hear with my dog. It's a pretty big park, and as a regular, I tend to almost always find something new. I'm grateful to have this park in my life.

At Walmart Supercentre, shoppers can expect a delightful experience, especially in the electronics section where exceptional customer service shines. One standout employee, Ginesh, has made quite an impression with his helpfulness and knowledge. The store's unique layout may differ from typical retailers, but it offers a comprehensive selection of products. Excellent Online Grocery Experience – Thank You, Walmart! I’ve been doing online grocery shopping with Walmart for some time now, and I am extremely happy and satisfied with their service. The staff who pick and pack the orders consistently do an amazing job. I always receive fresh groceries with long expiry dates—never had a bad experience, not even once. Their attention to quality and detail truly stands out. The return system is simple and smooth, and delivery timing is always accurate and reliable. From start to finish, everything is just perfect. I am one of those people who after I am done my shopping I need to sit down for a moment cause I get very bad back ache... Prior to the remodel they offered a bench seat in the front ara of the store...now since the remodel seems to be complete the bench is gone...BRING BACK THE BENCH TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE PLEASE!!!! Good place to shop, for the most part the prices are reasonable for the items they sell, at least the ones I look to buy often...but I really need that bench at the front of the store cause my back really hurts after walking around shopping, and NO I do NOT want to use a ride em cart they offer since I do want the exercise of walking around the store since I can sit in the shoe section for a moment and also can sit in the pharmacy...but I also need that seat after standing in line waiting to pay for my things. So PLEASE, PLEASE...put the bench back right away....not everyone has good backs.

Walmart is a fantastic destination for those looking to save money on household essentials. With prices skyrocketing everywhere else, Walmart's affordable options are a breath of fresh air. From groceries to home goods, electronics to clothing, you can find everything you need without breaking the bank. While Walmart may not always have the most reliable quality, they generally get the job done. Their products may not be high-end, but they're functional and affordable. For those on a tight budget, Walmart's pros far outweigh its cons. The convenience of having a one-stop shop for all your household needs is also a major plus. You can save time and effort by finding everything under one roof. Overall, Walmart is an excellent choice for budget-conscious shoppers looking for affordable household essentials.

This renovation has objectively made the store worse. The store layout makes zero sense. Things that should be near each other are on the opposite sides of the store. It feels like they’re trying to pull the whole Ikea maze thing in hopes you spend more money. If it’s going to take me like 10 minutes to find basic things, I’m just going to drive the 30 seconds further down the road and go to the Save On Foods. Make your layout make sense again.

This pharmacy is a farce. I've never witnessed such a lack of knowledge, and they don't seem to care. I have a lot of things I want to write, but I have to accept their low level of ignorance first. I came to retrieve a prescription from my physician. They refused to give me the medication, which was just standard painkillers, and urged me to return in a few hours. As if this were the only task I had to complete during the day. These individuals are insane, but I was in such much pain that I couldn't even stand there.

Poor customer service in cosmetic department. There were 2 middle aged female employees at the register, both kept talking to each other rather than ringing my items, mind you i was the only one in line. Had to ask 3 times to do the check out - she finally did it and never said thank you. They hide the name tags in the jackets. However, store is organized and clean. May not go back just because of the rude and ignorant behaviour of employees.
Preet K — Google review
They were about to give me the wrong medication. This walmart is great i go here all the time though after their renovations, some of the workers in the pharmacy kept messing up. I’ve had many experiences though not ones I am overly angry about but in this instance, We got our name and date of birth confirmed (mind you they were in no rush, yes there was a lack of staff but there was certainly no line) the guy gave us a medication in the pharmacy bag. I was not going to check the bag as i thought the medicine we’d receive would obviously be for me but my husband decided to and the same on the medication was not mine. I was going to be given someone elses medication. If i were have to taken that medication then this would be a much worse situation…

Unwin Park is an excellent recreational area for children, featuring a well-equipped playground and an outdoor swimming pool. During the summer months, visitors can also enjoy a water park. Additionally, the park offers several sports facilities such as baseball diamonds, batting cages, cricket fields, soccer fields, lacrosse fields, and basketball courts. For those planning special occasions like birthday parties or simply looking to relax outdoors in good weather, Unwin Park provides three picnic shelters and ample grassy areas.
My family and I recently visited Unwin Park and I must say it was an incredible experience for both the kids and us adults! The variety of activities available is fantastic. There are slides, swings, climbing structures, and even a splash pad that kept the kids entertained for hours. The layout of the park is spacious, allowing plenty of room and green areas for children to run around freely without feeling overcrowded. The playground equipment is well-maintained and clean, which made us feel comfortable letting our little ones explore. One of the highlights was the creative play area, where kids could engage in imaginative play with different themed sections. It was wonderful to see our children’s faces light up as they navigated through these areas, making new friends along the way. The park also has plenty of shaded seating areas and picnic tables for picnics and birthday parties. Parents can relax while keeping an eye on their kids. Overall, Unwin Park exceeded our expectations. It’s a perfect destination for families looking to spend a fun-filled day outdoors. We’ll definitely be returning soon!!

The park offers a variety of amenities, including playgrounds, picnic areas, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts. There are also jogging trails and green areas where you can take a walk or just relax in nature. The park is especially attractive to children due to its large playgrounds with a variety of slides and play structures. In the summer, the park offers areas with water attractions, making it a great place to visit on hot days.

First time visiting this playground. Looks amazing. Some equipment showing signs of wear and tear but overall it's a wonderful playground. Too early in the year to experience the splash park but excited to return.

This is really good new playground for us since we live in south surrey seldom to come Newton area for fun. Our first time to come this playgroup. All facilities are quiet new and maintained well. Space is big enough, my kids were so happy to explore this new playground. The musical instruments and seesaw are very unique, the kids who were 5 -12 years can find the right one suitable for themselves. Around playground there are a couple picnic table, basketball and baseball playground. Water park and outdoor swimming pool. We will recommend our friends who would like to explore new playground to come to try. We will come again during summer time.

Unwin Park at Surrey has a tot lot play area, some music instruments and a huge climbing tower for older kids to play with. Even though the playground can be pretty hot during Summer time, but there are lots tree shades around. The other side of the playground also has a water spray park and a public pool. My kids had so much fun that they didn't want to leave! This park even have public washrooms, don't need to worry about it!

This was our first visit after some people recommended we check it out and we were very impressed. My three year old daughter ran around and had a ton of fun. It is aimed at 1-5 year olds with little advanced areas for older kids. It is equipped for kids of all levels, and is wheel chair accessible. We spent two hours there and my daughter wants to go back.

Impressive auditorium for about 1000 people with plenty of parking for about 500 cars in an easy to approach road and a part of Sullivan Secondary School with excellent audio system. Great for any medium sized crowd concert and for any other entertainment or talk show. Will not hesitate to visit for any event.

Auditorium is spacious. I attended a concert last night, only felt discomfort between main entrance and ticket check. Two security did not wave or gesture to stop, suddenly screamed to stop and not liking the way they communicate. Should be more appropriate way to check. They may need more training on communicating guests. Rest securities from other areas of the building are professional and helpful.

What a spectacular venue. Apparently used to be a Jimmy Patterson building. It’s now called the Bell Centre. A fantastic theatre for live shows with great sight lines and a terrific stage. It’s attached to the adjacent high school and rented out to outside groups.

What a beautiful facility! Futuristic, well maintained, and friendly staff!

The place is well kept, good seating, with good seating capacity. However, we faced a few glitches related to the stage (mic systems, curtains, etc.) and therefore lost a few minutes through downtime. Otherwise would have given a 5-star rating.

Went for a comedy show. The Centre was well managed and organized. The view from the balcony facilitated the view for everyone irrespective of the row they were in. The space has been constructed quite thoughtfully to give everyone a decent view of the performer. There is a parking lot in front, but it's advised to come a bit early to reserve a spot. They also provided a bunch of snack & beverage options, to enjoy during the show, which I feel was nice.

It’s a very nice park, I did not see an area of this parking lot but it is very easy to enter through various areas, the lake has species of colorful ducks, and also in one area you can see the beaver house. It has picnic tables and an area where people are usually fishing.

Really enjoyed the tranquil and paved trails of this park. There are different routes to walk around but everything is well labelled. There is a lake in the middle which is beautiful but not covered; otherwise the majority of the trails are covered by trees and is a great place to walk in the summer heat or during rainy days. There are also picnic areas to sit at and benches at different areas of the park.

A great spot in any and all seasons. Beautiful walking trails, either around the lake or thru the forested area, or even in the open fields. Every season brings something new to enjoy. There are often ducks at the lake. There are a few picnic tables added in the upper area overlooking the lake. Benches scattered about, a small dock to fish off, and just a great spot to enjoy some nature. No playground but my kids end up playing very organically, finding sticks to toss into the water, trees to explore and animals to watch. Nice change of pace from a typical afternoon at a playground :)
Ania K — Google review
Large peaceful park beautiful during all seasons. There is a small parking lot, as well as an overflow lot, but can be completely full during busy times. Lots of clearly marked gravel trails as well as several benches/picnic areas. The trails are paved well enough that it is accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Most of them are fairly wide, but there are some smaller routes that can only comfortable fit single-lane pedestrian traffic. Sometimes there are people fishing in the lake. There are ducks and small fish in the pond. There are also supposedly beavers but I’ve never seen em. No designated off-leash area for dogs

Beautiful forest in the middle of the city. It has such a peaceful vibe to it. Good spot to spend an entire day or just a few hours walking on various trails. Large picnic area near the lake with benches around. The lake is restocked with fish every season for the fishing enthusiasts. Gentle easy trails to walk around and enjoy a quick break. Would definitely visit again

Tynehead Regional Park is a beautiful, peaceful spot that’s perfect for families and dog lovers alike. The trails are wide, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, making them great for all ages and activity levels. Big thanks to everyone who maintains and develops this beautiful park—your work really shows. The park features designated off‑leash areas, a network of connecting trails, and multiple parking areas for easy access. Along the way there’s plenty of scenery and a calm, sustainable feel to the landscape. It’s the kind of place where you might wander a little and not mind it at all. Getting pleasantly “lost” here is part of the experience.

The Missus and I walked the entire Metro Vancouver’s Tynehead Regional Park. There were a number of access points to the park and plenty of signage showing directions throughout. The dirt trails in the forested westerly portion provided shade from the warm sun and the terrain wasn’t too difficult to traverse for the average walker. The Tynehead perimeter trail covering the easterly portion of the park was relatively more open to the skies and paved for cycling. A fish hatchery and a dog park were also located on site. Toilet facilities were available at various locations. A nice park to visit and get your steps in.

Beautiful and peaceful park with lots of benches to rest if needed. Not overly crowded, family-friendly park for sure... 👌 Very clean and well maintained as well.

Easy trail, not many breathtaking points for photo. It mixes between flat trail and cute streams where you can see the salmon in Oct or Nov. Close to the trail, it has the beautiful light bridge. During the summer, it will light up around 8.30pm but during the fall/ winter, it lights up when it’s dust. However, the restroom is terrible 🥲

This is a no brainer 5 star ⭐️. The park is absolutely gorgeous. There is ample parking and public washrooms/outhouse. There are areas for picnics. A dog park is here also. The Serpentine River flows through the park and has an annual salmon run. Enough with the basics. The park is full of amazing trails and views. You will not be disappointed with the huge trees 🌲 and all the greenery. It’s a refreshing place and brings peace to the soul. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Its a new pizza place pretty close to our address so we thought to give a try. We ordered large butter chicken and pesto veggie pizzas and we got a surprise small cheese pizza for free. Pizzas were fully loaded with toppings & cheese and taste really good, in good price. Staff was friendly and really want to grow their business. Give them a try. Keep it up @cheesypizzacorner and hope you maintain the quality.

Terrible and under cooked raw crust!!! Decided to order since it's in my neighborhood but regretted it. Got the hot Bombay pizza. The crust was soft and under cooked and couldn't eat either than picking the topping. It's not even hot as the description. Melting cheese doesnt mean that the crust is cooked, this is safety matter. Hopefully management looks into this. Will never order again beware people specially if ordering for kids, can get sick!!!

Worst experience which i never had before from other stores. I just bought a tandoori paneer pizza from them and first of all we had to wait for almost 20 minutes that was so long as per the policy. Secondly, employees working there are too talkative like they just focus on their own talks, no matter either they are doing their working properly or not. On top of that, i just found a hair in my pizza so that’s for sure possible as employees working there didn’t tie their hairs at all. I don’t know why their owners don’t show up against them. No matter what they guys are doing at store, how they make pizza and all that. Their focus is just want to run their store, customer needs and food safety are just fun to them.

I recently tried Cheesey Pizza Corner, and I was thoroughly impressed. As others have mentioned, the crust is fantastic! It has the perfect crispy edge with a nice chewiness. The toppings tasted incredibly fresh and had a nice crisp to them, clearly indicative of the quality ingredients used. I ordered the deluxe pizza, and it was exceptionally well-made and flavorful. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce was delicious. Overall, if you're looking for genuinely good and fresh pizza in Surrey, especially with an excellent crust, this place is definitely worth checking out. I will certainly be ordering from here again!

Disappointing service today. Order placed at 440pm. I travelled 30 minutes to pick up at 510pm. When I arrived, the employee told me that the order was never received? I have been a regular customer for a few years. No apologies. Thank you. I will take my business elsewhere.

Tried pizza from this place for the first time and I loved it! We got butter chicken pizza and a simple cheese pizza. Butter chicken pizza had a nice buttery yet crispy base. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The fresh hit pizza was worth every calorie. Surrey has a lot of pizza places that serve Indian style pizza and if you are in the hood, I recommend this place! I used to order from here when it was Pizza Factor. As it is very close to home, we decided to try Cheesey Pizza Corner. The pizza was great - lots of toppings, the crust wasnt too thick or oily. We got it made Indian style with ginger and cilantro and medium hot, so it was very flavorful. They also had a deal - buy 2 large pizzas and get 1 small cheese pizza free, this was perfect for my toddler daughter. I will definitely reorder from here again.

Nestled in Surrey, The Samosa House is a delightful family-owned eatery that specializes in mouthwatering Indian cuisine. This charming spot is renowned for its freshly made samosas, featuring an array of unique fillings to cater to both vegetarian and meat lovers alike. Among their offerings, the Butter Chicken Samosa stands out as a must-try—crispy phyllo dough enveloping tender chicken creates a fusion experience that's hard to resist.
One of my go to for samosa in Surrey. 10min wait time because your order is made fresh. The skin is sooo crispy. Just the right amount of heat in the Vege Classic. Masala Chai (with sugar) is also another must order with your samosas. 😋😋

Modern samosa take out out or eat-in. Good for snacks. Got the original flat samosas, taste not bad could be better and a pound of pakoras… not what I'm used to the taste from other place, this was oily and taste not bad but different, probably secret recipe haha. Waited 10mins for food to cook, samosas were piping hot. Sorry no picture of food this time, just had a couple of samosa and ate it immediately, forgot to take photos.

I recently ordered takeout from Samosa House, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff made sure my order was prepared quickly and packed securely for takeout. Now, let's talk about the samosas – they were absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside, with a perfectly seasoned filling that was both hearty and flavorful. Whether you're craving classic potato or something with a bit more spice, they’ve got great options. If you’re looking for tasty samosas to enjoy at home, Samosa House is definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

We just got the order from this store and i must say if you have the name of SAMOSA in your store name, you really need to work on the quality of your samosas! The samosas we got tasted completely frozen or as if they were not made fresh at all. I talked to an employee on call and she was soo sweet and understanding but this is OUR MESSAGE TO THE OWNER! WORK ON YOUR FOOD QUALITY!

Although there’s no place to sit and enjoy hot samosas, I think The Samosa House is one of the best spots if you love this food! I absolutely love their classic, paneer, and chicken BBQ samosas — they’re incredibly delicious. Another thing I really like about this place is that you can buy frozen packs to take home. Just pop them in the oven for 15 minutes and ta-daaa! you’ve got a perfect snack. The prices are also quite affordable — I just wish it wasn’t takeout only!

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's is a well-established and popular fast-food chain renowned for its burgers and fries. I recently sampled their vegetarian burger, which was skillfully prepared and had a delightful flavor. While the service was slightly sluggish, it could be attributed to the high volume of orders. The staff's conduct was average, and the cleanliness of the restaurant also fell within an average range. In comparison to other McDonald's locations, this outlet stands out as a favorable choice with minimal order errors.
During my recent visit to McDonald’s, I had the pleasure of trying the Avocado Crispy Wrap and a French Vanilla coffee, both of which left a lasting impression. The wrap was a delightful combination of crispy chicken, creamy avocado, and fresh vegetables, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. The flavors blended perfectly, with the avocado adding a refreshing touch to the savory chicken. It was a satisfying and filling choice for a quick meal. Paired with the rich and aromatic French Vanilla coffee, it made for a perfect treat. The ambiance at McDonald’s stood out as well. This particular location was buzzing with activity, making it the most happening spot in the area. The constant flow of customers, cheerful chatter, and upbeat environment created a vibrant atmosphere. Despite the crowd, the staff managed to maintain their efficiency, ensuring the service was quick and the tables were clean. What impressed me most was how McDonald’s caters to a diverse range of customers. Families, students, and professionals alike seemed to enjoy the lively vibe and delicious offerings. It’s clear why this place remains a favorite for many. My experience was enjoyable, and I’d definitely return for another Avocado Crispy Wrap and French Vanilla on my next visit.

I’m writing to report a safety concern I witnessed in your location. At around 1:00 a.m. Nov. 22, 2025, the drive-thru served a customer who was on foot. This is really dangerous for both the customer and the drivers in the line. The drive-thru should only be for vehicles, and service should be denied to anyone walking through for their own safety. Please address this issue with your staffs.

If your going to do the McDonald thing, this is the best location. It’s clean enough, quick enough service with fresh food. The staff is friendly and they get the orders right. I don’t feel rushed, but they are efficient. When they are out of stock. The display is accurate. Although they didn’t update their promotion posters and their happy meal posters were about 2 series past. When I asked the manager, he didn’t seem to care. Overall it’s a decent location. Employees are nice, food is fresh. Manger was not personable.

Worst service ever !!!!!! Doesn't listen when you order, they make you pay for the mistakes they do. When complaining about that, answer is we make the note don't worry, just pay what you need. Doesn't matter it is our fault. Pay it !!!! Started my order 30$ ended up 50$ with corrections. ( like kids plain burger no cheese/pickes, according to them is cheeseburger 🤷‍♂️, had to buy new burger for my kid of course extra charge and so on)

We've been coming to this place for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly caring and welcoming. The food is exceptional—high-quality steaks, perfectly cooked every time. The ambiance and seating are always great. It's amazing how the staff takes such great care in accommodating special requests, like allergies, and always goes the extra mile to make our special days even better. The atmosphere is family-friendly, making it a perfect spot for everyone. And the Billy Minor Pie? It’s even more heavenly each time we have it!

Service was great. Starters were excellent, the bacon wrapped scallops and three pepper wings were amazing. The main top sirloin was okay, not seasoned to my liking. Maybe that’s the way it’s done. Blackened chicken was okay as well, tasted better at cactus. Good portioning though. Overall great experience.

3.5 stars anniversary dinner. My medium rare requested steak came quite raw, but quickly resolved. However lots of fatty/inedible bits, maybe about 25% of it (will only be good for our cats to chew on, so we took it home.) On the new plate, sadly though, the fries were undercooked. Too soft, unlike the original fries. The temperature in the restaurant was way too cold, my wife and I were chilly and sniffling the whole time. They turned on the fireplace but we weren't close enough for it to have any effect. We weren't moved or even suggested to. Wife enjoyed her steak & lobster. The free anniversary dessert, raspberry sorbet was good. I liked my Matcha Mojito mocktail, not overly sweet. The recommended Brussel Sprouts dish was burnt up and not very good at all. One of the two gift cards we had, that we had gotten at the same time, didn't work and nothing was done about it. Ended up going to waste. The waiter was friendly and tried to be helpful, but the poor guy had lost his voice, so communication wasn't super clear. Half point off for each of the steak issue, temperate and giftcard problem... Giving the 3.5 total out of 5

We've been going to various lower mainland The Keg locations over the years for everything from special occasions, date nights, to casual steak dinners with friends and the Scott Rd location is by far my favourite. Plenty of parking, well staffed, and I like that they are never too busy to the point that food/service quality decreases. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was definitely one of the most memorable dinners I've had. The food (especially the short rib and bleu cheese steak from this month's seasonal menu) was excellent. Service was absolutely top notch (thank you Kasia!). The manager even treated my wife and I each a glass of champagne and we ended dinner with a complementary slice of my absolute favourite billy miner pie. What a night! Thank you Keg Scott Rd team ~ Definitely recommend coming here

Went here for a dinner, the service was very good. Very friendly and helpful. My steak dinner was cooked to perfection, my wife has the chicken dish and said it was very good also. The kids meal came with some seasonal veg, it had a good selection of veg for her and she really liked it. The server was very helpful in getting the kids food faster then everything else. Would recommend this place for a nice dinner. It is expensive but not crazy expensive. 1 drinks each and / steak / chicken / kids entree our bill was just over $1400.0 The drinks are where they lost the points, the drink were not very good at all watered down and not appealing at all. The salt that they use for the Margarita's is not was good and its not the right salt, it also does not stay on the glass as soon as you put your glass down it all falls to the ground. - wont not order those drinks again.

The starters were good. The steak was ok. But the billy miner pie was very melty:(
