Nature & Parks
Riverside Park, situated in downtown La Crosse off the Mississippi River, offers a serene escape with its trails, open spaces, and annual events like Riverfest. The park's history dates back to 1911 when it was known as Levee Park and hosted various community gatherings. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely morning walk along the Riverwalk or savor coffee while taking in views of the La Crosse West Channel Bridge.
Fantastic views of the Mississippi River and lots of stunning and spectacular flower arrangements scattered throughout the park.

Very beautiful place. I loved the sea front and it has plenty of places to seat. One can also rent a boat.

Riverside Park is a public park located on the riverfront of downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. It's beautiful place on the bank of Mississippi River. It's just at walking distance from downtown. The serene view of the river and surrounding makes it a must visit. The ferry licated in the part is operated on specific schedule not throughout the year. Usually May to mid Oct. Check the operating schedule in advance...

Pleasantly surprised by this park. Awesome walk along the river. A bunch of art on the north end. Glad we stopped.

Don’t forget to stop here and Friendship Gardens Mississippi River front plus confluence of Black and LAX rivers. Beautiful natural views and impressive community engagement. This area really comes together with a variety of amenities and features Would really love to see a live music or community event here. Or be down here during the rush of a La Crosse Center event

Did a short walk around the park. Beautiful day for it. There was a "quick paint" event going on. The artists were doing a great job. The trail was clean and well laid out. Plenty of places to sit and watch time go by.

Tapas bar
4 Sisters Wine Bar & Tapas Restaurant is a casual eatery during lunchtime, but transforms into a chic and urbane location in the evening with scenic views of the Mississippi River from its lounge. The menu offers an eclectic selection of tapas, seafood, and steak entrees. It's a great spot for gathering with friends or enjoying after-work happy hour due to its unique tapas menu perfect for sharing.
Quite honestly, I could go on and on about 4 Sisters Wine Bar & Tapas. I was so impressed with this restaurant. My mom said that last time they were in lacrosse that day had a meal here and really liked it. Boy was that an understatement. They have a beautiful patio space overlooking the riverfront park and the river itself. Inside the restaurant is cozy, but not crammed, all of the staff was very friendly, and I was absolutely floored by the quantity and quality of food you get for the prices on the menu. To give you an idea of the prices, we ordered these two “starters“ and after a 20% tip, it was still under $40. We had such a hard time deciding what to get. My mom remembered having the nachos and raved about them so we had to go with that and we opted for adding shrimp. Then, almost anytime I see ahi tuna on the menu I have to get it. The tuna was light and refreshing, but the star of the show were these nachos with fresh chips, layered toppings, so that it wasn’t all just on top, the bang bang sauce on them was spicy, but not overpowering, and there was plenty of shrimp throughout. They are happy hour specials had good drink prices and their bourbon list was possibly the most impressive one I have seen in a restaurant date. If you’re staying in the cross, passing through, or just need an excuse to explore a beautiful city, I’m sold. After eating there we drove down through the riverfront park and the city’s tribute to their sister cities was BEAUTIFUL. I’m definitely going to make time to go through there again.

We were told our food was delayed due to my steak not being medium rare on the first try. When we received the meal the steak was like beef jerky (and with too much salt) & the potatoes too salty. Most of it was too salty and dry. Maybe it was an off night for the chief or they were newly hired. Definitely NOT what I expected of each dish for the price. Two stars for tasty house wine for a great price.
Ashley G — Google review
This was a great find for 4 out of state visitors! We loved that the tables facing the river front. Tapas were decadent (blackened shrimp & fig/brie dip), drinks were good, and entrées were delicious. I wish the signage was more obvious as Google Maps wasn't much help once we arrived in the parking lot.
Punkin0425 — Google review
Stopped by here this afternoon with a buddy and my father and had a lovely time. Be careful ordering too many tapas as they aren't normal size tapas, but more of meal size tapas. We started out ordering the; Mini Blu Burgers, Fish Tacos and Empenadas to kick off the meal and each one was full of flavor, but if i had to pick, the empenadas stole the show. For our main dishes we ordered; The blackend shrimp alfredo, Buffalo Trace beef tips and the tenderloin salad. Each plate was delicious in their own way and definitely will be back!
Jeremy G — Google review
A relaxing place next to Riverside Park. Indoor dining is comfortable. Outdoor dining can be a challenge during summer evenings because of the sun. There are good menus for food and drink. I like having the tapas because you can get everything you want without overdoing it (we got the empanadas to go for breakfast). And the selection of tapas are very good and satisfying. There is an entree menu as well. It was our first time at their restaurant but not our first time in La Crosse. We will be returning to 4 Sisters!
Christopher G — Google review
Staff are professional and generous. Maria helped us have a great experience. However the cheese journey was surprisingly like something we’d get at a grocery store and in two hours prepare for a dinner party. Then the pepperoni pizza was on par with pizzas we’d get at said grocer. The shrimp bacon was way overcooked. Besides that, other dishes like the ceviche were a highlight. it’s a place with lovely view. Might return.

Absolutely terrible!! The host let several other parties be seated before us! We waited over 2 hours, we were told 1 hour. We watched a couple next to us get seated before us, they showed up 30 mins after us! FYI There are NO reservations, so why would the host seat them before us! The bartender was well aware and questioned what was going on to the host. Absolutely disappointed and will never go back! This was absolutely unacceptable! We left and didn’t even eat… 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Steak house
Restaurant
Digger's Sting Restaurant is an elegant old-fashioned steakhouse located just a few blocks from Riverside Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin. With a history spanning over 50 years, this establishment offers an intimate setting and serves prime rib, seafood, and classic cocktails. Visitors have praised the quality of food and service, with particular highlights being the prime rib, clam chowder, and garlic toast. The attentive staff and delicious drinks such as Digger's Margarita have left patrons impressed.
We went to dinner for my birthday. Full disclosure, we both forgot to make a reservation. So we showed up to see if there were any openings. We snagged a reservation for later in the evening and then walked around and visited local establishments in the meantime. Once we got back, we were seated and then greeted by our server. We ordered drinks and started with the Snow Crab and Artichoke Dip for an appetizer. For the record, it was unbelievably delicious. We then both ordered a steak with a seafood addition. The scallops and Cajun shrimp were both fantastic. The steaks were both perfectly cooked and amazing cuts. We ended with the ever famous grasshopper. But since we were full, we split it. I would 100% come back and try more of the menu. The atmosphere is the true supper club vibe.

I had dinner at Digger’s Sting with my three aunts while visiting La Crosse for work. This was my first time here, and I was impressed from the start. The atmosphere has a historic charm, with a beautiful bar and well-set tables. Service was great—our server was down-to-earth, shared the specials, and made us feel well taken care of. We all ended up ordering the specials, and the food didn’t disappoint. The salmon, topped with garlic dill, was packed with flavor—maybe a bit strong for some, but I enjoyed it. Overall, a great experience! I’ll definitely be bringing my wife next time we’re in town. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Joseph G — Google review
We stopped at Digger’s based on a recommendation from our Air BNB host on the way from Indiana to South Dakota and absolutely loved it! They had excellent service and fantastic food. The prime rib was especially tasty, and we also really enjoyed the cheese curds and snow crab and artichoke dip. The Cajun shrimp were also tasty, and so was their soup. If I lived closer, I would frequent this spot. For what we got, the menu was reasonably priced. Our service was also great, especially considering how full the restaurant was. Don’t be deceived by the older exterior and missing lights on the sign - the inside of this restaurant is very charming and the food is wonderful.
Kayla G — Google review
We loved the cheese curds, Caesar salad, battered shrimp, and prime rib. Super disappointed in the steak fries as they were chewy….not good. Mashed potatoes were okay. Definitely would have liked better tasting sides! Love the atmosphere.
Emily — Google review
My husband had 14oz boneless ribeye. Steak was cooked to perfection at med rare. Everything was outstanding including the old fashioned. I had shrimp Alfredo. Service was top notch.
Nan J — Google review
Cody provided great service. He knew when to come check on us and served food and drink in a reasonable time. The prime rib was tender and juicy including the pellicle and was seasoned just right so we could enjoy the steak with or without au jus or horse radish. Making reservations on line was easy, thank you. The Maple/brown sugar and blackberry old fashioned was a great way to end a great meal. Atmosphere is perfect for a dinner club: quiet, prime rib, old fashioned, good craft beer. The only thing missing was the ice cubes in the urinal.

I was given a choice of where to celebrate my birthday. I chose Diggers. Four guests were from out of town/state and it was there first visit. We were seated immediately. Our server Maddie was amazing! Kudos to her for her professionalism and friendliness. Orders were of steak, prime rib and salmon. Everyone raved about the food. Generous portion sizes so got to enjoy our meals again. I love the atmosphere. No bright lights, unique decor, just different from any place. Never felt rush and even brought me an ice cream treat for my birthday. It was a perfect night spent with loved ones.

Enjoyed our visit at Diggers Saturday night, October 25th immensely. Everything was spot on from the appetizer crab artichoke dip to the end of our meal. Our server Cody was phenomenal and very attentive. Bravo to chef Steven on all of the choices we made at our table of 4. Outstanding! We will certainly be back.

Movie theater
The Rivoli Theatre & Pizzeria in La Crosse, Wisconsin is a historic theater that offers a unique combination of pizza, beer, and wine alongside showings of both kid-friendly and adult films. This theater provides a true dinner and movie experience where you can enjoy freshly made gourmet pizzas while watching a variety of movies, including first-run Hollywood films as well as classics.
This is a charming must-see theater where you can have food and drinks and enjoy the beautiful character of the venue. It has historic charm, a peaceful ambiance, & is a rare opportunity to see! Inexpensive tickets for those on a budget! Absolutely love going there every chance I get.

Rivoli Theatre and Pizzeria is a fun, nostalgic spot that brings together the charm of an old-school movie theater with the convenience of in-theater dining. The spacious seating with tables is perfect for a comfortable movie experience, and the added perk of ordering food and having it delivered right to your seat is a treat. The theater has a lovely vintage vibe that adds to its unique character. They serve beer and soda. The pizza was decent, though the crust was a bit doughy for my taste, and the popcorn, though tasty, was prepared ahead of time, leaving it slightly mushy. However, the friendly staff, dressed in festive Halloween costumes, made the visit extra enjoyable. Overall, Rivoli Theatre and Pizzeria offers a great mix of atmosphere and entertainment, making it a fun place to catch a movie with a meal!

Love. Love. Love. This theater! Amazing cult movie nights, good prices on tickets and food! They serve pizza and alcohol! The seats are comfortable and the staff is friendly! Love going there for date night!

How I haven’t been here more often is beyond me . Nice place great prices and that you can see old and new movies alike ? Sign me up! Love that they even go all in on a theme sometimes, we hit up the Jurassic park showing the other month and man was it great to see on a big screen. Great place! Gotta get the pizza next time, it smelled so good.
Brittany — Google review
A local independent theater and pizzeria offers a unique combination of entertainment and dining. Imagine a small, cozy cinema with a single screen showing classic or independent films, paired with a pizzeria serving gourmet, handmade pizzas. It's a community hub where people can enjoy a movie and a meal in a relaxed, intimate setting, often with a quirky, personal touch that big chains lack.

Three stores in one: cafe, ice cream shoppe and confectionery. The flow does feel like walking through three different spaces Affogato is pictured and it was truly delicious! Also tried drip coffee and mint chocolate chip / cookies & cream waffle cone. Did not get any candies but they have fudge, truffles, turtles and lots more. You’ll definitely find something for a sweet tooth

Buzzard Billy's is a casual eatery in La Crosse, known for its Cajun-Creole fare and 1950s-style cocktail lounge upstairs. It caters to tourists, business travelers, and convention-goers. The restaurant offers authentic New Orleans cuisine with popular dishes like the Cajun Combo, jambalaya, blackened catfish, armadillo eggs, gator fingers, and fried crawfish tails. Patrons have raved about the food and atmosphere.
Buzzard Billy’s was a great experience! Having never been to Lacrosse before, it was nice to go to a restaurant that the ‘locals’ recommended rather than a chain. The gumbo, poutine, and fried walleye were all amazing. Unfortunately the kitchen service was very slow, for us as well as all the tables around us, but the server was very friendly and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Ryan M — Google review
We stopped in for an early dinner, 5:00 pm last Saturday. We were told the wait would be about 20-30 minutes... it ended up being about 15. We ordered Gator Fingers as an appetizer, they were great. We ordered the Alligator Gran Chenier, Seafood Jumbalaya, and two Chicken Gumbos. The buttered garlic bread was great. All of the food was great and genuinely spicy (a good thing). The lady who waited on our table was very friendly and service minded.

Server was a train wreck! Manager was worse!!! A single portion of salad or pasta is big enough for a family of four, making this the number one restaurant of waist in all of my reviews.... The way they handed my concerns regarding the food waist was almost as bad as the amount of food I saw being thrown away. Shame on the owners ! The photos are what's left after we were completely stuffed from eating. The food is great, just split whatever you're having and plan on leftovers.
Derek S — Google review
Great food, excellent atmosphere. Our server Chelsea made some great suggestions on local beers. Try the armadillo eggs as a starter and follow up with a salad and burger. Don’t miss the side of onion rings. We will definitely be back.

We were told that we had to try Buzzard Billy's Armadillo Eggs in La Crosse, so we found the restaurant during our Wisconsin Road Trip and ordered some up. Not my usual style of food, but I liked them! The outside of the "egg" (a little smaller than a baseball) was covered in crisp, slightly spicy bacon and there were jalapeño slices inside the chicken center as well, but overall, the armadillo eggs were pleasantly spicy and not too hot. After a couple of those, however, a house salad and a Spotted Cow were absolutely all I needed as a meal! I really like their homemade ranch dressing -- great on the "eggs" as well as on the salad. We had a fun night, and Chelsie was friendly and helpful.

Wednesday night trivia league. We had a wonderful time with great food, atmosphere, and the friendly staff. I had the Rachel sandwich w/fries. YUM! It was Oktoberfest and Thanksgiving had a party. My wife enjoyed the Shepherd's pie and soda bread. It was a fun night at Dublin's Square.

Food was very disappointing. Beef tips were all grisel, and not at all tender. The mashed potatoes were lacking in flavor and just not appetizing. However, their French fries were crispy and okay.

Sat on the covered area outside of the proper bar area. Overhead heating made it comfortable. Make sure you find one of the chairs that can rock. The brandy old fashion drink was good as well as the moscow mule. Good selection of on tap beer. Saturday night made for college football games on the TV.

Cool place to just hang and people watch. The out side covered patio was a great place to relax after walking all over downtown. The the spring and fall would still be comfortable as they have heaters as well. Food and service was good. I wish they were a bit more dog friendly though as many people had dogs there that had to be left on the outside of the gate. Strange being that most of the hotels in the area allow dogs in the hotel.

We came in to the bar last night and Carsten was our bartender. We had some fried pickles which were great but just a bit cold. Carsten was amazing! Very conversational and kept the drinks coming! 9/10

I ordered the walleye dinner ($32), which comes with garlic mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables (zucchini, onion, etc...). I requested the potatoes be substituted with the mac & cheese. They gave me potatoes, and no vegetables. The fish was awful and tasteless. I've eaten walleye since I was a child, and this is by far, the worst I've ever had! I was only able to stomach 2 small bites. Pretty sure the fish was frozen, and not fresh. I requested tartar sauce...apparently they only have tartar sauce with their Friday fish fry. I was only able to eat the mac & cheese, but only after I picked out the overcooked/sharp bacon pieces. I tried a couple small bites of the potatoes...nothing special, not much flavor. My husband ordered the prime rib ($40), but they only have packets of Heinz horseradish sauce...TACKY, especially for the price! I tried some of his veggies...overcooked/mushy. Our server was very nice, but VERY inattentive. The manager came to our table at the end of our meal. He apologized, but only offered me a complimentary dessert. Not even a portion of my meal was comped. The salad was delicious, and 10/10 to the bartender. The mac & cheese was delicious, once I got past the bacon. There is a LOT of room for improvement here! You can do better, and you need to! We won't be back. Am also not happy about paying $96 for one of the worst meals I've ever had, with service to match.

I would avoid dining here if at all possible. We are at the Radisson every year for Oktoberfest. Where we find the staff at Radisson in general to be polite and helpful, the staff at the Three Rivers are anything but. There is a host stand at the entrance to the restaurant and it is generally unmanned, so waiting 10 or more minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen area to help us is not uncommon. After waiting the requisite 10 to 15 minutes to get any service this morning, we asked for.a table for.7 and were told verbatim "I won't do that.". We told him we could split up the group and again were refused. He said that there were two groups of.9 and 13 who had made reservations and that he would not be seating anyone else. We could see the tables set up for the two groups. We could also see 5 or 6 additional.empty tables. Because of the size of our group, we have tried to reserve space here.in the past and were told they did.not accept reservations. That policy may have changed, but we were extremely disappointed that the person speaking to us made no attempt whatsoever to accommodate us. He did not.offer to put us on a list, did not provide any insight into how to get a table, just said we will not be seating anyone else. He then walked off without bothering to acknowledge any of the two or.three groups waiting behind us. This has been a recurring theme with this restaurant over the years and I am certain that were they not in the lobby of a busy hotel they would have gone out of business years ago. Great hotel, disappointing restaurant.

I had a French dip for lunch that cost $21 and I was hungry when I left. It was very good. It was just very meager. I got to watch Wieser construction haul out 4 toilets, a sink and some other materials from an area and bring them across the beautiful window. I was sitting at overlooking Riverside Park. They dumped them in a small dumpster right in front of me while I was eating

Too many good places within walking distance to settle for this poor excuse for a restaurant. Horrible service, ridiculous prices, mediocre (at best) food. Wait times were astronomical even when there were only like... four parties in the dining room. Can't imagine what it would be like if it were full... but I'm guessing they never have that problem.

Jack was our server, we came in for a late lunch. He was fabulous. This was a great stop. We had a delicious light lunch of the dock lunch and yummy smoked deviled eggs. Food was great and service was better.

Food was okay. Got the blackened white fish. Great BIG bun small little piece of fish. Just pulled it apart and ate it with half the bun. It was fine that way. My husband had the Cuban which he liked. We had the coleslaw neither of us cared for that at all. Setting was beautiful, staff was friendly.

A disappointing meal, there is no other way to say it. The pasta dish was bland, in fact all of the food was fairly bland. Not at all representative of a hotel that charges over $300 a night.

Lovechild is a stylish modern supper club in La Crosse, offering seasonal American cuisine and a full bar. The restaurant provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere, making it perfect for special occasions or gatherings with friends. Their menu features uncomplicated yet flavorful dishes made with locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, including options for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free diets.
It was an interesting and amazing experience.I'd recommend making reservations since they're only open for a few hours per day. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was very attentive. They were constantly coming around filing our cups and making sure we didn’t need anything. There was a little bit of wait between appetizers and entrees so I would say to expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours there. My table ordered a variety of food and we all shared family style. We had the ribeye, lamb, pork and 3 different pastas. Overall, all the food was very tasty. The pork was a bit dry but still tasty. The pasta with shrimp was good. One was dairy free and more lemony, which made it more refreshing. Everyone agreed that the ribeye was the best, and may be one of the best they've had in town. We also had the tres leches cake that was very good as well. I would say, this place would be a very good date night place or the place to go for a special celebration.

We were traveling from Missouri and ended our trip here and it was absolutely fantastic experience. Gents (sp?) was our server and he made our experience fantastic. You can tell he took pride in his work and was proud to work there. I had the short rib ravioli and it was delicious. My husband had the flat iron steak with chimichurri sauce. The sourdough bread was fantastic. We are road tripping and were worried we’d be under dressed in jeans and nice shirts but maybe because it was Oktoberfest weekend everyone was super casual. It was a tad loud maybe because of drunk Oktoberfesters, mainly the people at the bar. The wine list was insane and whiskey/bourbon choices were plentiful. If we lived here we would come here regularly. We are well traveled foodies and not easily impressed and this place was delightful.

Love the atmosphere and the vibes. The dimmed lighting is so perfect for a date night. We were seated right away without waiting since we arrived at 5p. The food was amazing and great portions. Only negative thing was that we waited an hour for our entrees other than that I have no other complaints.

There is no other place like this in LaCrosse. If you’re looking for the best place to eat, look no further. The service is perfection, knowledgeable, prompt. Food is incredible, delicious, fastidiously prepared. Atmosphere is classy yet unpretentious. Dress up, dress down, no pretense. Seriously go to this place and enjoy one of the best meals of your life.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Lovechild. From the wait, which was not bad considering a busy Friday evening on a holiday weekend, to our server, who was so excited to tell us more about every item we were interested in, the service was above and beyond. The food was incredible, with highlights being the homemade pasta, steak, and dessert options. The wine menu is almost overwhelmingly extensive, and the cocktails are all unique and inspired. We will be back the next time we're in La Crosse, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special evening in the area.

My husband and I loved our meal at Lovechild and had great service from Larson. Delicious and refreshing apple-Manchego salad, fabulous lamb shank, and amazing beef tenderloin. We had a lovely bottle of Cava, too. The atmosphere is beautiful. We’re from the Minneapolis area, and wished we lived closer. This place is a gem!

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Grandad Bluff Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Myrick Park. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Park
Grandad Bluff Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin is a must-visit destination for nature lovers. The park offers hiking trails and a scenic overlook of the town, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in the raw, natural beauty of the area. The highlight of the park is the stunning Grandad Bluff cliff, which offers breathtaking views. Accessible by car or on foot, visitors can enjoy a relatively easy walk from the parking area to the scenic overlook.
We went for a hike on Grandads Bluff Trail or Park. I haven’t been up here in a long time. The trails were very easy in length and not as wide as I would like but fine for single file hiking. We parked at the top of Grandad Park, walked to The Alpine Inn and hit a few trailheads on the sides of the road. The trails could use some better labeling or even markers to notify those in the park there are other trails on the side of the road. We just happened upon a few trails by accident. We had no idea there were other trail paths in the area. We hiked about two and a half miles according to my GPS. The park is more than family friendly for children and pets. We got lucky and saw a few deer on the trail which excited the hikers in the area. Once you finish the trail you eventually end near the top of Grandad’s Bluff where you are greeted by an old stone like fortress, an overlook of the city LaCrosse with public binoculars should you wish to pay for the panoramic or increased zoom view. There is also a walkway closer to the edge of Grandads for more scenic views of the area if you wish. The park has a public bathroom with drinking fountains, packed with scenic views and a must see in the LaCrosse area. The road getting up Grandad’s has many twists and turns for great views off to the side as you drive. Be mindful of the road as some drivers are not paying as much attention to other drivers as they should. It’s a great way to spend a few hours if given the chance.

It is a clean park with nice trails. I wish the trails were marked a little better; I definitely needed the downloaded map to make sure we were staying on the right path. I was disappointed there was only a "view" from one spot along our 2.4 mile hike. I rated it a "3" because I don't think we would make the 2.5 hour drive to do it again. I imagine this is a great destination for locals.
Angie K — Google review
It's an amazing and beautiful place with many trails for hiking and biking. A good weekend gateway. The falls color is so mesmerizing and soothing. If you are a nature lover..definitely should visit and go for trail almost or biking.

A must stop in La Crosse, no matter the weather. The drive is memorable, and the views from the bluff-top are expansive and impressive. Even in inclement weather. This is when you can see most clearly the micro-weather effects the topography has on weather systems.
Todd M — Google review
It's very well maintained and beautiful. When you go closer to the evening the parking lot fills up with local teens, they were squealing their tires but nothing crazy, they stay to themselves. It's a great place for a hike, scenery, or even a picnic.
Meaghan — Google review
This is where the platform with the scenic view is located, make sure to put the right place in your GPS. If you have time during your visit to La Crosse, this is a worthwhile spot to make a pit stop when the weather is nice. The pics were from Memorial Day weekend and I bet it is also stunning in the fall! They have two fire pits and even charging outlets, although I didn’t try to charge anything so not sure if they were functional.

The Children's Museum of La Crosse in Wisconsin is a vibrant and engaging destination for kids of all ages. Since its establishment in 1999, the museum has been offering three floors filled with interactive exhibits designed to encourage learning through play. From exploring themes like rivers and bridges to experiencing the thrill of climbing walls, there's something for every curious mind. The museum also features a multipurpose theater that hosts various performances and events, providing an enriching experience for both children and their adult companions.
Always love coming here when we visit! Went on a weekday and wasnt busy at all. Maybe 4 other families... kids were still in school so might be why it wasn't busy. Great prices. 3 levels. The water feature is always a hit. So many rooms and areas and interactive things for the kiddos to do, but not over stimulating. Will return!

I’ve been to the museum many times over the years since it opened. First as a classroom teacher of kindergarten students and now as a grandparent. The musuem is always a delight. Engaging exhibits, colorful, engaging and clean. There’s always something new to learn and each level.

Was a great place to stop at on our road trip. They keep the facility clean and sanitized. There is a lot of activities for all ages. Little one was entertained for 5 hours and didn’t wanna leave afterwards. We parked in the parking deck just next door. Building was easy to find and a great price!! Would go to again if passing by.

Such a fun place! If you have a kiddo on the cusp on 1 years old I would go while they are still free (under 1 is free) but then if you’re wanting to go again when they can experience more of it, I’d wait until they are closer to 2 to make their ticket worth paying for! There was lots of interactive activities and very kind staff!
Megan W — Google review
There was a lot of themed options. Wished they could have been a little more engaging at times. We really liked the exhibit with the snakes, tortoise, and spiders. Wish La Cross had more of a historic scene to it, however, I was really disappointed in the community feeling in general. I more than likely would not put this on my top ten unless there was more in the town to capture a family friendly euphoria.

Have gone here since I was 2! Always loved it, even as a teen! Good activity for all ages, but parents could watch a little better. Had kids be rude to my brother because he got freaked out halfway up the climber(spider eyes, very scared of spiders) but some kids(aroundaybe 10 and 8?) helped him down a long with me ☺️shout-out to parents raising kids that help like that! Others seemed annoyed but omg kids are climbing down 24/7 like bro...... Anyways awesome place with generally great staff. My mom has a membership and we love coming here!
Beverly B — Google review
We had a lot of fun with our 2 kids aged 18 months and 8 years. There were activities for toddlers, little kids, and big kids. 3 floors of fun for $8 was well worth the price. There were interactive STEM and pretend play activities including controlling water flow in a model River, a dinosaur maze where you could dress up, a bank, a Kwik Trip gas station and convenience store, and a whole lot more. We spent 2 hours here easy and could have stayed another 2 as we didn’t get to everything before they closed.
Chelsea K — Google review
We had so much fun here. The kids loved the Kwik Trip upstairs, climbing all the way from the basement up to the third floor in the climbing structure, and using the big crane. Everything was fun and each kid had different things they didn't want to quit playing with. I loved that there was learning incorporated into everything. There were 3 floors, elevators and stairs, restrooms on every floor right in the middle where you can get to them quickly and easily. They even had a sign saying you can get a change of clothes at the front desk if someone had an accident. Definitely one of the most family friendly buildings I've been to. I wasn't looking at it from an accessibility viewpoint, but as I'm reflecting back on it, it seems like it would be very wheelchair accessible too.

Fayze's Restaurant and Bakery is a popular casual eatery and bar located in downtown. It offers a wide variety of American dishes, cocktails, and freshly baked goods including their signature Lebanese bread. The restaurant is known for its delectable pastries and bread that are sure to satisfy any sweet cravings. Customers often have to wait for a table, but the delicious food makes it worth the wait.
Tried this local hot spot after the LaCrosse Half Marathon and ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a table, which, considering the large size of our party, was not bad. We were able to sit and wait in the bar area and have a cocktail where I ordered a "spicy" Bloody Mary, which was delicious but not spicy at all. They seated us upstairs, and there was plenty of room for all of us. My husband had the Traditional Breakfast with crispy bacon and said everything was served perfectly. I had the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with a side of bacon, and that was absolutely amazing! The pieces were thick yet light, airy, and perfectly sized. Our waitress, who definitely had her work cut out for her, did a great job. She was attentive, quick and very pleasant. It's understandable why this place is a LaCrosse must.

If you’re coming this week, just be prepared to wait. I also encourage you to be patient and kind as they are short staffed and swamped. We waited about 45 minutes to get seated and about 30 minutes for food. When all was said and done, our server was friendly, they kept our coffee full, the portions were pretty big and overall the food was tasty. I’m glad we got to stop for this La Crosse staple before they close on October 8. And yeah, the buns are really good.

The service was above great. We were never overlooked or passed by without a quick check in. Server's were always smiling and pleasant. Food was delicious. 7yr old daughter told waiter it was definitely worth the wait. Lol, not long really. Definitely would recommend. And definitely enjoy the Talame bread, which is world famous and made here!

They serve a great breakfast! Very busy place on the weekend, but not a terribly long wait for two people (about 45 mins). The Eggs Benedict was delicious. The English Muffin was well toasted but the eggs could have been runnier. I also tried their cheese curds which were good. The service was very good. From the host running the show to the young folks in charge of seating you to the waiters taking care of you, all of that experience was really pleasant. It was a busy Saturday, but none of the staff seamed stressed out. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our experience.

Just thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here. Everything was so good from staff to food to bakery item. Their talame bun is just incredible and so unique. Love the ambience too and they have some vegetarian options. A must place to stop by if you are in Lacrosse.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning, the wait was 45-60 min. We put our name down on a list and wandered around town, came back and our table was ready. We had eggs Benedict, corned beef hash & had to try the WI cheese curds. The eggs Benedict was flavorful, had good texture. The eggs weren’t as runny as my BF would’ve liked, but it was definitely tasty. He did comment on how great the English muffin was, and it was crispy! I had the corned beef hash, it was good, a little dry but tasted great. I decided on a Talame bun, didn’t know what to expect but it was good. Why not try something new in a city you’ve never been. Lastly, the cheese curds were pretty good too. They had great flavor, and ranch as dipping sauce. Since we’ve been here in LaCrosse we’ve had cheese curds at another restaurant which we weren’t a big fan of. The service at the restaurant was good, from the check to the seating experience. If you’re in LaCrosse, check this place out. Prices are affordable too!

We enjoyed a few meals here in the past few years. We had a few fish fry dinners on Friday nights. The food was always good, but you could tell they were short staffed in the evenings. We came in from out of town and were so happy to find this place. It exceeded my expectations. We are from Oregon and have had a lot of great coffee. The coffee and the food was delicious. My fiancé and I both loved the breakfast biscuit sandwich. I got it with a gluten-free bun and it was great. I loved the unique flavors of the specialty drinks. The best part was the relaxing atmosphere and the great service. Everyone there seemed happy to be there and happy to answer my long list of questions I always have when I order at a new place. Myrick Park is a resilient park featuring paved pathways, a sizeable wooden play structure, picnic spots, and a nature center. The park offers pleasant trails with abundant avian species in the marsh region, making it ideal for birdwatching with binoculars. Although the wedding had reserved the building, its appearance suggested that it was well-maintained, spacious, and appealing. While restrooms were closed during my visit, portable toilets were accessible.
Beautiful park! Playground, picnic tables, walking and biking paths, all make thus a great place for people of any age to have fun outdoors. The bikes are cheep to rent and there's wildlife viewers you can use for free. The park is busy all day. There are good area maps with path/trail distances.

I went for a sledding outing. The hill was nice. As to "Myrick Park", I no longer visit. The whole Eco-park debacle ruined what used to be a fun place to take kids. There were rides, concessions and a zoo. Now it's just a boring nothing. Other than Kid's Coulee which was closed the day I went, there is absolutely no reason to spend time there.

Drove 30 minutes to see this highly promoted park with my 16-month old granddaughter and was sorely disappointed. Except for one small part at the side of the park, the playground is colorless maze of 2x4s. The walkways and stairways are too narrow even for the children to run around in. There were exposed sharp screw tips in some places. The sandlot was littered. It didnt feel like a safe place for playing.

The Driftless Axe and Arcade offers a unique and exciting experience for those looking to try their hand at axe throwing. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, organizing a team building event, or simply having fun with family and friends, this venue provides an enjoyable time for all skill levels. The layout of the space is cool, although some wish there was more room between lanes. Additionally, the arcade games add to the overall entertainment.
This place was great. My son and I had a good time throwing axes and playing the arcade games. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Walked in and headed towards the arcade games, just to be told I need to show my ID or leave. Just wanted to try some games and maybe order some food, but still told I needed to show my ID (left it in the car).Even though there are kids running around the place and I did not want any alcohol. They have advertisements on the radio about their games and food so I had assumed it wouldn’t be an issue to come in without an ID.

Beer options are extensive. We waited a bit with almost no crowd which we thought was funny but otherwise good visit! :)

Was last here on 4/24/25 and it was VERY worth it. They have a Wii that you can rent controllers for. I played Guitar Hero World Tour with my friends and the other arcade games. I had a blast!

Amazing place filled with amazing staff, great food, great vibes and home to some of the best karaoke nights! There's something for everyone here whether you like arcade games or singing your heart out or working on your axe throwing skills!!

One bartender here, Sammi, is without exaggeration the complete opposite of what a bartender should bring to an establishment. Instead of elevating the atmosphere, she poisons it by being rude, dismissive, and at times openly hostile toward patrons. Her professionalism seems selective at best which often creates an uncomfortable and unpredictable experience for guests. It’s hard to understand how someone so unfit for customer service is trusted to serve patrons. Beyond her demeanor, her actual service is equally disappointing, as she frequently forgets drink orders, and is slow to pour and return them regardless of how she’s tipped, etc. She isn’t just unpleasant; she slows down service for everyone. I can’t see how keeping her behind the bar is anything except bad for business. Your average guest probably doesn’t want to spend their evening feeling like an inconvenience… especially when the rest of the staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional. This contrast only highlights how out of place she is behind the bar. Having recently returned to town for school, I’ve seen no improvement in her demeanor or performance. Her lack of etiquette, professionalism, and basic social skills are second to none among the staff. Driftless Arcade and it’s patrons deserve staff whose attitude and service doesn’t leave customers regretting their visit to the bar.

I love the atmosphere and vibe of this place. The staff are always super nice while I'm there. They have great food (Kevin makes fantastic smash burgers) here at a fair price. I would recommend to friends, family and visitors to La Crosse.

Pickerman's Soup & Sandwich Shop is a long-standing cafe known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious, hearty soups and sandwiches. The staff is highly accommodating, as they readily cater to large groups and are flexible with orders, whether for delivery or dining in. Visitors have praised the friendly employees who provide excellent recommendations, such as the Broccoli Cheddar soup and Cajun Chicken sandwich.
Got the meatball sub and clam chowder. The food was great and the service was good as well. I took it to go but it was well packed and stayed warm on the walk to the hotel. At first bit the sun was amazing but the soup took two bites… amazing!

Had the chicken salad wrap and vegetable soup. Also tried the clam chowder, not a fan of anything I had here. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t anything to rave about. Everything was very bland. Service was very friendly, this place has a lot of potential to be great but it’s just not there yet.

We loved Pickerman's! The sandwiches were made to perfection and hit the spot! Their chicken ceaser salad was also great. It was very fresh and perfectly balanced. It's a cute little sandwich shop with nice indoor seating. It's the perfect place for a lunch out! I highly recommend it!

Food is always awesome. Atmosphere is typical downtown excitement. I unfortunately only gave a four star review because the cashier seems to have an attitude. I think it’s because he has a complex about being in charge. I think they call it “ a god complex” or he is unhinged in some other area of his life

I had gotten 2 bowls of loaded baked potato soup and a sandwich. My total came out to be $30. Considering the rating, I assumed $30 was appropriate. But everything was bland. Sandwich was decent. But the soup had absolutely no flavor. You’re better off buying canned soup for 50 cents at Walmart. I called back offering to bring back my soup for a refund or to substitute for a different soup, but was declined. Will not be buying from here again. Food and Service was terrible.

Steak house
The Freighthouse Restaurant is a historic dining establishment located in downtown La Crosse, housed in a former freight house dating back to 1880. The restaurant offers fine dining with a unique railroad decor and multiple dining rooms featuring antique bars and fireplaces. Their menu features a variety of meat and seafood dishes, including prime beef that is naturally aged and hand-cut daily.
January 2025: Stopped by for a team dinner. First time here so I asked the waiter for a recommendation. He suggested the prime rib which sounded good to me. You start by going to the salad 🥗 bar which had a lot of options. When my entree came, I was amazed at the size of the beef. I ordered a medium rare cut but it came out closer to rare. I didn't send it back because I was okay eating it. Service was friendly and attentive. Great place to eat in La Crosse.
Ken W — Google review
Went for a family reunion dinner gathering as an early Father’s Day celebration because one family member suggested it. Probably considered one of the higher-end restaurants in La Crosse area. Ambience and decor was dark, not warm or inviting. Plenty of parking and not a very long wait to get it, although we did have a reservation. Food presentation was decent but the quality left much to be desired. I ordered the Sirloin steak and Scallops combo—the scallops were fine, but the steak was dry and extremely tough because it was overcooked (I had requested medium well) and probably sitting for a bit. Another family had their filet undercooked. The worse part was the asparagus—they were nice and tender, perfectly cooked but had grains of sand so clearly were not washed or rinsed thoroughly. This wasn’t just one spear that had sand grains but every spear on my plate and especially at the heads of the spears. Another family member had the same issue with their asparagus so whoever cooked the batch must have been in a hurry. This is an absolute disappointment for a higher-end restaurant for something so basic. The only reason this wasn’t rated one star was because of the good service of the waitress. Our server was very friendly and even though there were 9 of us which we assumed would automatically result in the 20% tip being added to the check, that did not happen. We of course made sure to tip her well. Frankly all their staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the food quality will deter me from returning the next time I am in town.

Cute place with a great atmosphere. Very cozy and intimate feeling. Stopped in for dinner on a Monday night at around 7:15pm - got seated quickly in a comfy two person booth on the corner. Wine was great and priced affordably. Service was prompt and courteous, although slightly awkward - we were asked about dessert just as our entrees arrived and then asked again after we had 2 bites down. Both of us had steaks; the peppercorn strip was overcooked, tough and underseasoned. Filet was cooked perfectly but woefully underseasoned. The side of asparagus was cooked very poorly - wilty tops and woody stems. Not worth the up charge. I’m sure the place has its moments but it feels like charm is the leading quality here. The food wasn’t too remarkable. Especially when the total before tip was $130 for two steaks and a few glasses of wine.

I had high hopes for The Freighthouse, given its 4.6 ⭐️ reputation and the unique setting, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to the expectations. I ordered the 20oz Porterhouse, cooked medium-rare. While it was prepared to the correct temperature, it had absolutely no flavor. For a steakhouse of this caliber, seasoning and flavor should be the highlight, and this was deeply disappointing. I paired it with a baked potato, which honestly ended up being the best part of the meal — simple, but actually enjoyable. On the positive side, our server Kristen (or Kirsten) was excellent. She was friendly, attentive, and clearly did her best to make the evening pleasant. Service was not the issue here. The atmosphere seemed like it had potential with the historic building, but the dining room was noticeably smokey/hazy, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, this visit fell short. For the price point and the reputation, I expected much better. Good service can’t make up for bland food and a less-than-comfortable dining environment.

First time here and this place was Amazing! The atmosphere is neat, our waitress Sidney was sweet, courteous, and attentive. Best of all was the food. We ordered prime rib and crab legs, man was it delicious. We lucked out due to arriving a bit later and our food portions were huge, the biggest piece of Prime Rib we've ever had. Needles to say, we had a lot of leftover meat, which fed us the following night. Money well spent and totally worth it.

Long day, and we arrived late and near closing. They were kind enough to accept us in but we nearly left when no one came to our table for the first five minutes. My wife had a great piece of salmon with a buttery dipping sauce and I ordered a small sirloin steak with steamed veggies. There was absolutely no seasoning on my food..at all. It came out hot but that’s all I appreciated about it. Pretty expensive for what I received. I very much liked the atmosphere. I enjoy history and it was neat being in the old train station.

We were seated, not busy. But took forever for the server to come to us. Kinda dark in there. Could use more lighting . I ordered blackened Salmon. Presentation of food was nice. Salmon alittle over cooked. Lacked seasoning. Kinda dry. Gnats flying around too. First time here from out of town. Not pleased with service. Food not horrible. Food Was nice and hot which was good. Overall a 3 out of 5.

The overall experience at Restore Public House is impressive. While it was not crowded during my visit, it easily ranks among the top three restaurants in lacrosse. The service is quick and friendly, and the dishes I tried, such as the beets and striploin, were excellent. The chef's personal touch of checking in on customers adds to its appeal. I am looking forward to returning soon to try their spaghetti and Brussel sprouts.
Terrific rustic American restaurant with fresh, farm-to-table ingredients. Recommended for a nice night out with reasonable prices.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Charming Dining Experience This restaurant offers such a warm and charming welcome — I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. Emma was my waitress, her service was attentive and friendly, and every detail, from start to finish, was excellent. I ordered the Shrimp Pasta, and while I didn’t snap a photo, I can confidently say it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing, high-quality meal out!

Excellent brandy old fashioned sweet. Burger was also top 50 material(I eat hundreds a year), had one note of a taste I don’t like, but that’s just preference, the ingredients and quality were all there. Rest of our food was top notch as well.

I recently dined here and left with mixed feelings. On the positive side, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating. The sauces were excellent, and the fingerling potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. That said, I felt the food and service could use a little refinement. We ordered the sirloin and the New York strip, while ordering the server asked “is medium rare okay for those” it made me feel pressured, I’ve never had a server ask about steak temperature that way so it threw me off, however I let her know I would like mine medium and my partner confirmed medium rare for his. When they arrived they were both pretty overcooked, especially the sirloin being cooked medium well-well (little to no pink). The flavors were there, but proper execution on the steaks would have made a big difference. I was also surprised by the portion size for the NY strip at $49 a plate. While we don’t mind paying for high-quality food, the serving felt a bit small for the price, and we left less satisfied than I’d hoped. As for service, it wasn’t poor, but it didn’t feel sincere. Our server checked in briefly, but there wasn’t much opportunity to address our needs or mention the steak temperatures. Small details like ensuring water glasses don’t go empty would go a long way. I share this feedback in the spirit of encouragement. I truly see a lot of potential here. the atmosphere is nice, and there are aspects of the food that were good , With a few adjustments in attentiveness, I think this restaurant could easily live up to what it’s going for.

I'm from out of town. This is the second time I've dined at Restore Public House. The scallops were excellent, as was the flourless chocolate cake. What set this visit apart from most restaurants was our server. I didn't get her name, but she was exemplary. She rattled off the specials and drinks in a way that almost induced me--a light drinker--to partake. She was very attentive and made sure our water glasses were filled. Mostly, her enthusiasm and friendliness made the dining experience memorable. She mentioned studying pre-school education; I can believe she will be a wonderful teacher. She is a wonderful server.

A Hidden Gem We’re So Glad We Found We ended up at Restore Public House after discovering our usual favorite, The Waterfront, was closed on Sunday — and honestly, I’m so glad it was! This place turned out to be an absolute gem. Everything we ordered was incredible — the steak with Béarnaise sauce was cooked perfectly, paired with delicious potatoes and tender asparagus. The desserts were just as amazing and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a warm rustic charm that reminded me of the Driftless vibe back home in Viroqua — only elevated. It’s not a big space, but that just adds to its intimate, authentic feel. We left talking about how glad we were to have found this spot. Truly a hidden treasure in La Crosse that deserves way more attention.

We went to Restore Public House for date night and we were delighted with the experience. The building is smaller, but cozy and had great energy. Our server (so sorry I don’t remember their name, Saturday the 18th) was knowledgeable and super helpful, even giving us a few recommendations for a post dinner hang out. We started with the house old fashioned and the tequila cranberry drink, both were great with balanced flavor profiles and not sweet. We then had the Shaved Brussels appetizer, which we dug into before I snapped a picture. My husband even enjoyed it even though he’s not a Brussel sprout fan. I had the Seared Scallops and my husband had the Alaskan Halibut. Presentation was beautiful and flavors were on point. We would both get these dishes again. Dessert was the s’mores cheesecake (which we also dove into before a photo) and oooohhhh man. You should definitely get it. Great overall experience and we’ll definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful date night at Restore Public House! The food was the highlight of the experience and is easily one of the best, if not the best, dinner we have had in LaX. We started with the masala potato dish and it was so flavorful. I got the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly - one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. My husband got the spaghetti and it was outstanding. Our cocktails were delicious! The service and ambiance were spectacular. 10/10 recommend. *the steak was 1/2 eaten at the time I took the picture

The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern is a charming establishment located along the picturesque banks of the Mississippi River. Since its establishment in 2006, this elegant restaurant has been celebrated for its commitment to using locally sourced, farm-to-table ingredients in crafting modern American cuisine. The menu features an array of delectable dishes, including day boat scallops served with linguini, English peas, bacon, and a garlic cream sauce.
Today I visited this establishment with my family and was genuinely impressed. The prices are reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the best cream soup from the chef that I’ve ever tasted in my life. I also ordered a pear and gorgonzola salad — it was outstanding. My husband had the steak. The price was fair, and the quality exceeded expectations — tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The grilled vegetables served with it were also full of flavor. Compliments to the chef! I’d also like to highlight the elegant interior. The place has two halls — we were seated in the tavern section, which I definitely recommend. The location is great, and the view from the window is a lovely surprise. Overall, I’m very satisfied and will definitely return tomorrow to try the chef’s soup again.

We have traveled the country for several years and there are a handful of restaraunts that have the trifecta (food, atmosphere, and service). The waterfront has all three in spades. Beautiful decor and ambience. Impeccable food and Sophie, our waitress was an absolute delight. I ordered an Old fashion that was well done with a local whiskey. Steak was perfectly cooked with a delicious salty skin. MacNCheese was unique and delicious. With bread crumbs on top, giving a unique crunch and salty flavor. The pork chop was the standout. Incredible quality and flavor. Every bite was a delight. For desert, my wife got the creme brulee which was as excellent as expected based on the other food. I got the key lime pie. It had a unique take on the pie that was excellent and quite unforgettable. Our waitress, Sophie, was incredible and friendly. She committed a chunk of time to ask about our adventures around the country and had such good insight on the food prepared.

If you cook steak as a staple on the menu the temps have to be better. Our well was pink. The med rare was black and blue and my chicken must have been cooked a week before they served it to me. It was drier than Death Valley. :-(. The other items were good but we came for the meat and it wasn’t great. All the other items got it to three stars. But the meat abuse is unforgivable.

We haven't been to Lacrosse in 10 years. We were very hungry and since the weather was disposing, we decided to choose a place with a terrace. It was one of the best experiences we've had in a while. The view is amazing the food is fabulous and the service is very good. We had Walleye pike on the first day. I'm not much of a fish eater but it was something fabulous. Then the next day just a burger with pear & gorgonzola salad. The price is not very high for such service and food.

Le Chateau is an upscale French restaurant housed in a historic 19th-century mansion, offering a warm and sophisticated ambiance for diners. The menu features classic French dishes such as onion soup, escargot, squid ink pasta with truffle cream sauce, lobster risotto with lemon and edamame, and seared salmon with roasted corn and cucumber couscous. Whether you're seeking a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion, Le Chateau provides an exquisite dining experience.
Visited for our anniversary dinner. The staff recognized the event but I was surprised they didn't off a dessert as a congrats and thank you. We have not had much "classic French food" so we didn't know what to expect. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees. The smoked salmon app didn't seem to have any smoked flavor so that was odd. The French onion soup was good, but not what I expected. My wife had the salade nicoise, she enjoyed that. I had the steak with fries (it still seems strange to write it) we added on shrimp and lobster and all of these items were cooked really well. I don't use a lot of steak sauce but thinking the French are the sauce kings I inquired. The kitchen made me something on the spot. They should bottle it. As for desserts, those were a home run. I had the French Silk Pie cake and it was amazing with their French pressed coffee. We were allowed to explore the house and it was fun to see. What a place. A masterpiece of construction. It's amazing people could do this level of detailed work way back when. Definitely recommended.

First time here and the ambiance was Amazing! The bar downstairs in the "cave" was really neat, there's plenty of room to sit with friends. We toured the home while we waited for our food. The waitress and staff were friendly, the drinks were delicious and the food was ok. My fish was too salty but I still ate it all. My wife was not happy with her scallops, the noodles were bland and mushy.

My husband and I journeyed to La Cross after hearing recommendations to visit La Cave & The Chateau- both owned by the same people and located in the same stunning vintage house. We started our evening at La Cave and had a marvelous time enjoying custom cocktails. Then we ventured upstairs to The Chateau where we enjoyed delicious French-inspired cuisine. The beautifully decorated rooms enhanced the dinning experience and each bite left us wanting more. Highly recommend!

This restaurant lives up to its name. It's like a castle or a palace with very nicely decorated rooms and a high-class decor. The staff is very nice and the food was delicious. I had the lobster risotto with french onion soup to start and lime cheesecake for dessert.
Verlyn S — Google review
Let’s start with the basics, the food was not good. My husband ordered the duck and received a tiny plate of bland couscous topped with a very small duck breast, that to be fair was cooked at the temp requested. I ordered the steak frite. From past experience I know that when I order a steak medium rare it rarely comes that way, so I specifically asked our server if they will cook it accurately and he reassured me that their Michelin star chef would not have it any other way. Of course my steak came medium well. Realistically, it would have been difficult for anyone to cook it any other way because it was just so thin. Now, if that wasn’t enough, the whole thing was absolutely drenched in salt to the point my tongue shriveled up. This was certainly an expensive disappointment. They did bring us a couple after dinner drinks on the house to make up for the steak, but it turned out to be an undrinkable, overly sweet, orange liquor of some type (not Cointreau). Reviewing the service is a little more challenging because we had a very good experience in downstairs ‘La Cave’ with the bartenders before our formal dinner. The upstairs restaurant service was friendly but uneven. A restaurant pretending to be fine dining needs to train their server properly imo.

Stopped in on Christmas Day about noon... was there a couple hours, the place just got busier as the day went on. I've been meaning to stop in since I moved my mom to the area a few years ago. I got the vibe the Bodega is an Institution! I love the old tap handles, coasters and world money that adorn numerous places! Elizabeth took great care of us...offering beer samples and making a delicious Old Fashioned! We didn't dine on the $15 holiday meal as this was a stop as our dinner cooked @ home. I liked that the tap lists are on overhead TV's and broke out by lists, such as Christmas beers. There was a good selection; the local breweries, several WI breweries and just good breweries from around the US and a few high ABV imports. The stool seating are regular height bar stools, so easy to hop on to and padded, thanks. The place never got annoyingly loud as it got busier, thanks! I love the whole wall of floor to ceiling windows! Street parking was easy and w a convenient 2 hour limit. Now that I've finally made it in I will definitely be in when I come to town. Thanks Bodega and Elizabeth for a fantastic inaugural visit, cheers!

Embark on a journey with La Crosse Queen Cruises, a modern replica of the grand riverboats that once graced the Mississippi River. With two accessible decks, including an open-sided upper deck with dining and bar areas, this paddlewheel riverboat offers various cruise options. From classic sightseeing tours to family-favorite Pizza Cruises, there's something for everyone. The informative narrations and friendly staff make for an enjoyable and educational experience as you glide along the majestic Mississippi River.
Excellent experience! Great staff and crew. Got a lot of history and local flavor, including swinging bridges. And the food was the absolute best for brunch! And that's from other passengers too that I didn't know. Would definitely do again and hope that we went thru locks and no barges in front of us.

What a great experience. Very inexpensive for what you get. Great views of the river and wildlife. The bar is well stocked and very welcoming.

Wholesome experience. The internal amusement system is limited, although you can't from this small sized cruise. But, their behavior, welcoming gesture would give you the joy in whole ride. I would recommend to try this journey.

The 3 hour cruise with dinner or lunch is so worth it!! Had gone in the sightseeing tours before and am so thankful we did the lunch buffet!! Going through the lock and dam was so neat!! Spotting Eagles and spending time with my bestie made it the best cruise we've been on!!

This is a paddle boat on the Mississippi. It was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. I would recommend and go again.

We are visiting from the Northeast and the pizza cruise was recommended to us. The cruise itself was great, staff was fantastic, and the company was great to work with. I think I would prefer going on one of their regular sightseeing cruises. The pizza cruise wasn't really worth it being domino's pizza. Is there no local pizzeria that you could support? The only big issue we had were the way children were running rampant. It was near impossible to safely access stairs because kids were all over the place. There were no staff telling adults to monitor their kids, parents weren't monitoring their kids. It was a bit of a safety concern. Over all, we did enjoy seeing the Mississippi and the boat itself.

Mexican restaurant
QDOBA Mexican Eats is a straightforward Mexican fast-casual establishment that offers a variety of choices, such as burritos, tacos, and other delectable dishes. This inclusive eatery also caters to health-conscious individuals by providing nutritious alternatives.
I love Qdoba because it is absolutely consistent store to store. The tortilla soup (loaded or unloaded) is perfectly spiced and hearty for me. It is simply the best Mexican platform for this style of restaurant. 11/10

There are so many better choices downtown the food quality was terrible. Not worth the money in my opinion. I will never be back and this was my first time trying it. Maybe it is good when you are very drunk but sober not a great experience. I also believe the one woman working there maybe was making fun of a homeless person I am not really sure not the environment I want to be in.
Hunter D — Google review
Usually I love qdoba. But I literally got a bowl that was maybe a third full and yes I ordered through DoorDash but come on? It wasn’t even worth the money at this point.
Shanell M — Google review
Showed up just before 7 pm on a Sunday night for dinner. We wanted a quick bite. However, that is far from what happened. There were only 4 or 5 people in line ahead of us, so we figured we would be served soon. We saw the main worker in front, and they were taking care of customer in line and all the online orders. It quickly became apparent that the online orders were more important than the customers waiting in line. We waited over 30 minutes to start our order. The worker stated that they were a person short but never apologized for the weight, and he wasn't even working with intent. We finally saw another worker come from the back, and she took more dishes in the back to wash. Food tasted good but was lacking the meat we ordered, seemed skimpy. There were plenty of other issues that happened this was by far the worst fast food experience I have had. We should have gone to a sit-down restaurant, we would have gotten faster service. Plenty of other people walked out, but we thought since we waited 20 minutes and were next in line, we were in it for the long haul.
Wander A — Google review
My past experience is at this restaurant have been good which is why I went back when I had the opportunity. This one however, was quite different. The help struggled to keep up and seemed very unorganized. The station was messy. The food was poorly executed and the burrito bowl I had lacked the type of cohesive flavors I was expecting. It was so disappointing overall that I will not be going back.
Carol A — Google review
Very slow customer and the manager on lead was very rude to the black couple in line behind us and was acting all nice to me and my family in line. Also another person in front of us was already waiting for 30 mins to get her order in but the people working inside only were making online orders. Most of the people in the line were concerned about getting their orders correct and were still wondering if their items they paid for were even in stock for the workers to get for them.
Jai V — Google review
Ordered takeout and order was incorrect because of ticketing error, and even though what I had got wasn’t on the ticket, they were still nice enough to fix it without issue. Thank you so much! <3 Edit: I decided to check my email receipt when I got home bc something didn’t feel right, and it turns out it wasn’t a ticketing error it was a ME error. I forgot to confirm editing my order and you guys covered for my screw up. I’m so sorry…but thank you for being cool about it. Appreciate you!!!!
Alayna R — Google review
We went here at 9 pm on a Saturday and there were no other customers in the store. There was about five or six workers just sitting around on their phones. One sitting at a table playing on his phone, drinking soda and loudly belching and two more in the back arguing. There was food and garbage over pouring out of the garbage cans all over the floor and the counter. This place was absolutely disgusting. We don’t plan on coming back anytime soon unfortunately.

Piggy's Restaurant and Lounge is a historic venue located in the Pioneer Foundry Building, dating back to 1871. The restaurant offers hickory-smoked meats and features a blues lounge with scenic river views. The building is adorned with historic images and relics, including chandeliers from the Stoddard Hotel, which once hosted famous guests like Elvis Presley and John F. Kennedy.
I loved everything about this place. Very cozy, great subtle music and ambience was exactly what I was needing. Beer, wine and cocktail selection is top notch. I enjoyed the brisket, really enjoyed the brisket and to finish everything off service second to none. I will make sure and stop in next time I’m in town.
Robert H — Google review
Server Ellie is a rock star! We loved the 80’s menu from the relish tray to dessert and everything in between. Fantastic as always.
The O — Google review
With all the Hype about Piggy's, I expected alot more. We were disappointed with the service and menu selection. I expected this place to knock me off my seat, but really shocked on the lack of BBQ on menu. How do you go to a restaurant known for BBQ, but they don't even have ribs on the menu? No signature item. I asked what was good on the menu, and the server stated she hasn't even eaten there. What? And no, she was not a vegetarian.
Andrew — Google review
Great service and good food. One of the chops was slightly over, but the sauce made up for it. I have never had a bad meal here.
Robert L — Google review
We enjoy Piggies. We haven’t eaten at there in many years and it was as delicious as we remember. My husband and I both had the lunch special. Chicken Filet Sandwich. They also have an excellent soup and salad bar. But, both of us wanted a sandwich.
Mary H — Google review
The food ingredients were of good quality, but the spicing was off; too much salt and too much garlic. The food was presented well, with nice color on the meats and perfectly cooked vegetables. This was my first time there, but others who had been, said this was not typical. The service was indifferent as we were frequently without drinks and were frequently left without any service for extended times. When they were present, they were efficient and courteous. The decor is charming, maintaining the feel of the old foundry in which it was built. The old carved wood bar must have come from the old world and was a solid anchor for the rest of the furnishings. It may have been a night where the head chef was sick and the staff was slammed.
Glenn G — Google review
We came in at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday during Oktoberfest. They closed at 9:00, so wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was working the whole floor with a big party in a private room, but we never felt neglected. Drinks stayed full and our food came out timely. The food had shining moments, but had some misses too. The cheese curds while tasty and with a good dipping marinara, were pretty greasy. The bacon wrapped chicken had good breading and chipotle ranch, but the bacon was chewy since it didn’t really have time to cook up more or a way to crisp up within the breading. The burnt ends were really tender and tasty, but the cheesy potatoes could have used a little more seasoning. Overall, the space is really nice and we enjoyed our meal. I would try other items on a more normal time of day like lunch or earlier dinner.
Christina M — Google review
Wasn't too busy, but this place was definitely short staff. We waited to be seated for a while, tried to flag someone down, got ignored, and decided to seat ourselves. A table down from us walked out they stated they waited 20 minutes for wine and were done waiting. The waitress came with the wine they had already left. We told her we would stay if she came and waited on us or we could leave if she didn't have time. This waitress came brought us water, we ordered wine, came in a few minutes, ordered pasta and steak with a salad, everything came out fast. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. House salad had very fresh greens. Dressing was great. I'm very impressed how the diner went. The waitress saved the night. Of course, I have to give credit to the chef, too.

Chinese restaurant
Hunan is a delightful eatery that serves up an array of mouthwatering Chinese dishes, including crispy deep-fried dumplings and the standout orange beef. The menu boasts a fantastic selection of sauces that perfectly complement each dish. While the meats are sliced thin for quick cooking alongside fresh vegetables, they may not always deliver a robust flavor on their own. However, the garlic honey chicken truly shines with its perfect balance of spice and sweetness—definitely worth trying!
If you don't like the flavor, it's your own fault! The suggested recipes are great. The choice of sauces is excellent! The meats are thin, to cook at the speed of the veggies, but when they are thin, you don't taste much of the meats' flavor. The waitress was prompt, the chefs did a great job of throughly coming the food.
Jack M — Google review
The veggies looked as if were frozen and re cooked. The General tso's chicken sauce non existent, probably because it was as watered down as the sweet and sour was. The fried wantons were literally empty, pretty much a folded fried wanton wrapper. Food in general reminded me of the stuff you can get in the freezer section, then poorly prepared. Ended up throwing away $30 because it was so bad. To top it off the fortune cookie wasn't sealed and the fortune mocked the terrible experience
Quaid D — Google review
Ordered online here tonight, ordered sesame chicken and paid 3 extra dollars for extra sesame chicken and a thing of white rice with it. Ordered shrimp lo mein (which was terrible) and egg rolls. We never got our sesame chicken at all or rice and i called and kindly told them that they had forgotten to give it to us and the guy AND chef literally yelled at me telling me i was lying and that i did get it. The food was terrible and i paid 50 bucks and tipped 10 to get half my food. Will never be returning. Do not go here.
Kristina G — Google review
Rated one star as there is no lower rating, food was not prepared as advertised, menu described entree as savory, and taste was sour with a little sweet. Noodles in thee lo mein were overcooked and soggy. Fried rice was flavorless and dry. If I could rate lower I would.
Kris H — Google review
This place makes a lot of really good food, but the garlic honey chicken is pretty amazing. It's worth it just to go and get that, it's nice and spicy but at the same time as that wonderful sweetness. The staff for helpful without being hovering.

Heard good things about the quality of the food. Was very unhappy with the Egg Foo Young, it smelled burnt, looked burnt, and tasted burnt. When I called to give my feedback the response was oh it didn’t taste good, have you ever had the dish before. I was again just repeated that it smelt burnt, looked burnt, and tasted burnt, the cook should not have sent it out. I do not recommend this restaurant
Magloire S — Google review
The old Hunan on 3rd St was exceptionally good and service excellent. Now through Sushi pirate my last order was overcooked egg foo yung and delivery guy could not find my address while I was standing outside my door. Very disappointing.
Colleen J — Google review
Our experience was not good. The host was not friendly and the food was not up to standards like it was before these owners. The host was also our waiter and when clearing our table, he spilled juices from our plates onto our coats and seats. When I mentioned this to him, he said so sorry and that was it. Very disappointed and will never go back.

Nestled in a charming locale, The Mint is a delightful eatery that emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and offers an array of small plates and entrees. On my last morning in town, I couldn't resist trying this highly recommended spot for brunch. The cozy atmosphere, managed by the DriftMore restaurant group, sets the stage for inventive dishes like their unique take on Eggs Benedict with wild rice cakes and poached eggs drizzled with bourbon maple hollandaise.

Daneka R — Google review
This place wasn't too bad. Nice outdoor scenery, a bit romantic indoors. Pretty and attentive waitresses. Food selection is a bit selective, so may not be for everyone. My mother and I were about to leave as we didn't quite see an option we were favoring from the small selection. But then our waitress made us aware of the grass fed beef burgers which mind you come with a side of greens and no fries. Which is all good, some healthy with not so healthy. We decided to stay and try the burger option. For 8$, wasn't a huge harm if we didn't like them. Burgers were darn good with the greens side. One of our burgers came more bloody than we like while the other came out perfect. After we requested a new one and mentioned pink is good just no blood, we got a well done burger. I guess the chef didn't want to take his chances this time around.... It wasn't too bad, though. Overall, 4 star for our first time around at this place. Would I recommend it, for the scenery yes, regarding the food, look or call ahead for the menu options. Great staff.
Srdjan M — Google review
Group of women out for dinner we were sat outside as inside is pretty small and it was a beautiful evening under the patio lights. The chairs were comfy for a nice long meal. The staff was great, knowledgeable about the dishes, they were having fun and made me think it's a good place to work. All the food was a joy. So much good rustic pairings and flavors. Local ingredients and good sweet and savory mix. Small menu but well thought and something for everyone. The downside is NO parking!! I look forward to going back to see the menu change with the seasons.

This place is phenomenal. The food is exquisite, the drinks are delicious, even the after dinner mints are homemade. This might be my new favorite place in La Crosse. Copeland Park, located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is a popular attraction known for its thrilling experiences and picturesque setting. Established in 2003, it serves as the home stadium for the La Crosse Loggers baseball team. The venue also hosts concerts and events on its AstroTurf field, offering a clean and spacious environment with optimal stage setups. Visitors can enjoy the authentic Americana atmosphere while watching live baseball games against the backdrop of the scenic Black River.
I've been down to La Crosse twice now this summer for the concert series being held at Copeland Park. Both times my family and I enjoyed the multiple bands that are part of the series. We had planned to attend the last last series but unfortunately bills gotta be paid 🤣 so we can't go 😢. I'd recommend checking out this places events and I'm sure their baseball games are fun to watch for those who enjoy it.

Located riverside, this baseball field provides great access for year-round community enjoyment. Concerts held here can face sound quality challenges due to the field's shape, which isn't ideal for acoustics. Despite this, the field's versatility for various outdoor activities benefits both locals and visitors.

I got there a out 1130. The train show was supposed to go until 4pm and the a lot of the vendors were packing up a 2pm. I drove 2 hours for the show to miss half the show because of the vendors didn't care about selling or the people. The food closed about 230pm too. I called the phone number on the flyer and he said sorry but there is nothing he could do. I not happy with the vendors and anyone running the show. Don't waste your time going to that show.

It was very nice. Fairly clean. Plenty of room. I had a baby shower there for my daughter. The only thing I didn't like was the weather. Very cold. But nothing to do with Copland park. That was great. Oh and they even had big garbage for anyone who's there to use , lots of picnic table and a covered areas to entertain.

Visited the park for a Sugar Ray concert in 2023. The concert was awesome and the park was setup well for it. There wasn't great parking at the venue and we had to park blocks away and walk which wasn't a big deal. There was a lot of traffic and the crossings near by was not pedestrian friendly.

The waitress was new so our orders got a bit messed up, especially when it came to drinks. But a more experienced server corrected the issues promptly. The pizza is good. The trivia is fantastic. The games all look really fun. It can get a bit loud. Can't get bored here though. The place is huge and has a lot of parking. You can eat there without getting tickets to play too. Perfect for parties.

Went there for packer game and had horrible service. Waitress didn't greet, basically said what do you want to drink and walked away. Food was good and timely, but drinks took quite a lengthy time to get. When it came time to get the checks, our server disappeared. Waited 15 minutes and finally went to the counter. The gentlemen was more than happy to assist but told us we couldn't split checks. They have great deals and good food but definitely need to work on customer service.

I love this place, but my last experience there was not ideal. There were so many people there on adult night. I got to say at least over hundred people. Everywhere you turned the games were taken up and people were pushing each other to get to the games. It really sucked because my fiancé and I were looking forward to playing some games after doing some wedding planning. I think they should only let in a certain amount of people on adult night. We got there at 9 and by 9:30 the place was covered in people. So I don’t know if I will be going back for adult night.

Nice place and the kids had a blast. A few of the games need a bit of updating and/or restorations. Was a bit disappointed because on the website it states mini bowling, which was the main reason we came and paid only to realize it wasnt there. All in all was a good time. Maybe consider updating the games list online would be a recommendation.

Hardee's is a quick-service eatery known for its crispy poultry, hefty sandwiches, and freshly prepared morning biscuits. While some customers may find the prices to be on the higher side, they occasionally offer generous portions like replacing regular orders with two substantial servings of roast beef.
I really enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant seems modern and up-to-date. Very clean from what I could see. I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss double combo with medium curly fries, and everything was made hot and fresh! 'Staff seemed very friendly and happy to be there. Angela, the cashier who took my order, was very knowledgeable about the menu as she gave me some recommendations and made my experience the best.

They used to open at 5.00 am which was great i work 3rd shift. But now the open at 8:00am. They are also very slow in the drivethrough, I can't figure why though there's never any cars there anymore. I can't see how they can still be in business there's never any customers anymore. Ever since there manager justin left.

Excellent food, excellent service as has come to be the norm here the past couple years. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! PS: "Extra crispy bacon" means 20-30 sec in a microwave tho. This time, nothing was done to it at all. 😣 Biting into an otherwise perfect frisco burger and having a greasy, ½ cooked slice of bacon all but ruins the sandwich! js
Debi L — Google review
I went there a few weeks ago and had a great experience. We had Frisco burgers and they were legit on point. We won a couple days ago, and it was a very different experiments. Unhappy face, the fries were ridiculously salty usually we ask for no salt fries so I guess that's my bad, fries were fresh so they would've been good! The burgers (lil double)were alright but nothing special. It's a budget meal at $7. Also what's up with the diet Dr pepper. Last Saturday the day of this past order the pop didn't really taste right.

Ordered at the drive thru, had to correct almost everything she put after I told her. Got a single Frisco when I asked for double, set me up with small combo when asked for large, had to remind her for soda in end for combo. Fries cold, not good.

Went through through drive through. Service was good and the food was EVERYTHING!!!! I missed it from my college days and it was worth the drive!

Don't get to talk to anyone when ordering. Wanted to change my order. Talking to a computer can't get things changed Plus only one car ahead of me took ten minutes to get my hot ham and cold curly fries. 😔😡

American restaurant
Nestled in the heart of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Marge's On Rose is a delightful breakfast and brunch spot that exudes a warm, homey atmosphere. This charming café offers an inviting experience where guests are greeted with kindness and exceptional service. Whether you're stopping by after a morning stroll from campus or just looking for a cozy place to enjoy your meal, you'll find it here.
On Wednesday morning about 7:30 my mom and I stopped in for breakfast. Small parking lot but big restaurant. I think we could have parked along either side of St James had we not squeezed in to a spot, so parking shouldn't be a problem and shouldn't scare you away if it's full...there is plenty of space inside! We had told Lori twice, to come back...we needed more time w the menu. As my mom and I perused the menu, I was going to just opt for two eggs and toast. My mom asked if I'like to share a bacon omelet and apple fritter french toast? Server Lori assured my mom they were delicious. I obliged For how not busy it was it felt like it took quite a bit for our food to come out. But.....once it did... worth the wait! I unfortunately had no room for my apple fritter french toast, my mom ate hers and exclaimed "this is the first time I've ever had french toast and didn't drown it in syrup.... I didn't even need syrup." Some bites she ate just the french toast, some she dipped the bite in a little syrup. It wasn't loud in Marges; not sure if it's because it wasn't busy or they just have great acoustics, either way, it's appreciated. I don't know what it was about the omelet... the bacon? The oil the eggs were cooked in? I didn't discuss w my mom her thoughts, but I thought there was a bit sweet taste to it! I liked that the tables all had small ads for local businesses! Way to keep it local/small! There was a white board on the wall w the delicious sounding daily Specials and quite a selection of pies! Thanks Marges for a delicious meal served by friendly staff in a welcoming and comfortable setting. Will stop in for lunch next time I'm in town, cheers!

As a Black Man in America, going to places where no one in the room looks like you, can be challenging at times. In this case, everyone was so kind, graceful and just happy to be at a homey spot eating great food. I am here in town for the state track meet and I walked to this breakfast joint all the way from campus and it was totally worth it. The server was phenomenal and made me feel at home. This place has great food, prices, and people. Get here as soon as you can because they close at 3pm.

I truly don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. The waitress slide menus on our table and walked away without saying anything. There were only 5 other tables but it still took 45 minutes for 2 pancakes and 1 omelette. The pancakes were flavorless and not fully cooked. The only positive thing about it was the cinnamon roll, but even that took 30 minutes. It wasn’t even warmed up, so it took half an hour to put it on a plate and pour on some frosting?? We watched people who came in after us get their food before us. After reading other reviews, this seems like a common occurrence. The waitress was also watching as my partner was signing the receipt almost to see if he was going to leave a tip. I genuinely don’t um how this place is still in business.

We got the breakfast burrito challenge. We did not get the t-shirt. Excellent food, amazing service. The staff and the other guests were very friendly. Fun place to eat. My whole crew left very full

As soon as I got into the restaurant it smelled like a musty basement, I knew that wasn’t a good sign. Got seated and the window was covered in flies, by then I lost my appetite. I ordered steak and eggs anyway and my steak was super rare and tasted like iron and was bland, egg whites weren’t done and were slimy. Hashbrowns only had a few crispy parts. Went to the bathroom and it smelled heavy of urine and there were about 20 flies in there. This place was nasty. I do NOT recommend!!!

Fast food restaurant
Burger King, a popular fast-food establishment renowned for its grilled burgers, fries, and shakes, has been criticized for its lackluster customer service. Many customers have complained about the indifferent attitude displayed by the drive-through workers. They often feel like unwelcome intruders when visiting this particular location. Moreover, dissatisfaction arises from consistently receiving cold food items such as fries and onion rings. Consequently, it is suggested that new staff members be hired and provided with thorough training to address these issues.
My husband and I came in after a long day of working to be greeted with the most respect we have ever seen in the service industry. Drew helped us and his manors were impeccable. We both kept looking at each other in awe over how respectful he was. We appreciate you drew. You deserve a raise.

I normally make Mobile orders before I get to a drive thru restaurant because I don’t wanna sit and wait. Once I pulled up to the drive thru they told me to give them a minute but had me waiting 7min before they did take my order which it was just a simple mobile order. Once I got pass the drive box I was sitting and waiting in line behind 2 cars for 15 minutes. Wasn’t considered fast enough for me. Even tho it’s supposed to be fast food!.
Monobe Y — Google review
Burger King delivers a reliably satisfying fast-food experience. The flame-grilled Whopper remains a classic, boasting a smoky flavor that sets it apart. The customizable options allow for personal preferences, from extra cheese to no onions. Their fries are consistently hot and crispy, a testament to efficient cooking. Beyond the core menu, Burger King innovates with limited-time offers, adding excitement for frequent visitors. The app provides convenient ordering and often features exclusive deals, enhancing value. Service is generally quick, especially at drive-thrus, making it a practical choice for on-the-go meals. While not gourmet, Burger King excels at providing a familiar and comforting fast-food fix. The consistency in taste and service, coupled with occasional menu surprises, ensures a positive experience for those seeking a quick, tasty, and affordable meal. Their commitment to flame grilling and accessible prices solidifies their place in the fast-food landscape.

Ordered Burger King off door dash and it defaults to this one based off location and every time something is missing. My fiance and I did not receive one of our drinks, both of our fries, and gave us the incorrect sauce for our chicken fries. It's not hard to read the receipt and look for the correct items to put in the bag

We put our order in at 8 pm. They close at 9. We got a confirmation the food will be ready at 8:30. We go at 8:20 to pick up the food and the place closed, there’s one dude inside not coming to the window and not answering the phone… why did they confirm our order and then just close and make it so we drive there for nothing? If you closed, don’t take an order.

Rude women manager worked Sunday night gave me cold fries when I came into the store and when I asked her to make me new ones she got upset and then preceded to give me less than a full box of fries.... It was supposed to be enough to feed a family of four. It wasn't! Also the chicken was dry and overcooked. Other experiences.ive had with food here have been good until this one.

Stopped in to get 2 five piece chicken dark extra crispy. What i got home to was 2 five piece dark original with the skin of the chicken wet and falling off. I called up to kfc and told them what was going on. The man on the phone said he was the manger I hope not with how rude he is to customers that's paying their money for some half done chicken. After listening to him call me a lie I refused to deal with it I let him know I was calling the corporate office and I did. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO SPEND ANY MONEY AT THAT KFC.

Nestled just a short 15-minute drive from the historic downtown of La Crosse, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a stunning modern neoclassical church that beckons visitors with its serene beauty and rich spiritual significance. Built between 2005 and 2008 to honor the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mexico City in 1531, this sacred site spans an impressive 100 acres adorned with meticulously designed gardens and devotional areas.
We were blessed to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on a beautiful sunny, summer day. There is a gift shop, restaurant, washrooms and a welcome center closest to the parking lot. They offered us water and snacks. It was so wonderful to meet Enid who was volunteering. The views of the landscape and gardens were quite lovely. Be prepared to walk! High heels are not recommended. There are carts available for those who do need a ride. They have a map in Spanish and English with the different paths to the main church, rosary walk, votive chapel, stations of the cross, memorial to the unborn, as well as several statues of saints. Most adorable Savior, in Thy wondrous love for us Thou dost remain in the blessed Sacrament of the Altar. O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine! Virgin most holy, by thy holy and immaculate heart, make us enter into the adorable Heart of thy divine Son, Jesus Christ. O sweet St. Joseph obtain for us the gift of prayer and of perpetual union with Jesus and Mary. Amen Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!

Beautiful grounds and a break from the city bustle. I visited during a beautiful week here in Wisconsin, and the grounds were meticulous maintained. Super friendly staff that would take you up to the Shrine via a golf cart if needed. It is about a half-mile walk up a paved trail that passes through some beautiful sculptures. The Shrine is in perfect condition and there is a new construction project going on to expand services. Really worth the trip for anyone, not just Catholics. Plenty of free parking and handicapped services are available.

A place of beauty, peace and deep spirituality. I visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe while in La Crosse, and it was truly wonderful. The whole site is incredibly peaceful, set in the middle of nature with several walking paths, gardens, and quiet areas for reflection. The walk up to the church is scenic and thoughtfully designed, with stops along the way like the Stations of the Cross and other devotional areas. It feels like a retreat from the world, very calm and serene. The church itself is stunning—beautiful classical architecture, very clean and well-maintained, with a reverent atmosphere even when it’s quiet. You can tell a lot of love and care went into the design and upkeep. There’s also a small café and a gift shop, both really nice and welcoming. Staff were kind and helpful. Even if you’re not religious or just curious, this place is absolutely worth a visit for the natural beauty, art, and peaceful atmosphere. Wear comfy shoes as there’s some walking involved. But there’s also a shuttle if needed!

The place was incredibly welcoming and pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the statues and shrine. We managed to attend the 11 am mass in Spanish, which was convenient since we had our young son and needed to return to the office promptly. The weather was perfect for this time of year, neither too hot nor too cold.

We koved it. Drove 2 hours to witness it. It was beautiful inside and out. The gifts shop was a tad bit pricy. But the trip was worth it for us. As it was Hispanic heritage month they were having mass in Spanish. There were a lot of people, including busloads. There were two or three buses of people who came together. We're definitely going back, just not every weekend sort of thing.

An incredible place. We had limited time but I look forward to coming again. It very hilly and they don't have a great way to see all the Shrine. They will give a ride to the main church. I walked back so the other people I was with could see some more of the Shrine. It was the perfect place to go before the hospital.

Beautiful wooded setting. A bit of an uphill climb from the visitors center to the shrine. But worth it. If you have mobility problems, they do have golf carts to drive you to the top.

High Roller Skating Center of La Crosse

Roller skating rink
The High Roller Skating Center of La Crosse offers a unique and exciting experience for children to have fun. This well-designed amusement center provides the perfect setting for kids to enjoy the sport of skating. Parents appreciate this place because it keeps their children entertained with various energetic skating games such as HillBilly Run, Pongapalooza, Dodgeball, Dime Game, Races, Capture the Flag, and more.
I had my son's 16th birthday party there last night and it was a great time for all. I think some kids/people think a skating party is just for little kids, but that is not the case. His group of friends had a blast! Everything was organized very well, and I was surprised how good the pizza was. The best $100 I have spent, I highly recommend.
Ang B — Google review
Well maintained rink with some small town vibes! Extremely well maintained hybrid flooring and the cheapest rink I have been to hands down anywhere recently at $6.17 after tax! Rink is on the smaller side. Rentals included! Unfortunately I forgot my skates and used the rentals, they aren't bad for rental skates tho (pictured). Went on a Thursday from 5-6pm and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed (video). Free lockers to store stuff, although I'm not sure all the keys actually worked. Pizza looked good too! They played a fun "Ghostbusters" game during the first hour which has you changing skating direction constantly, that's different! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
Jason B — Google review
I was very disappointed to learn that there is an entry fee just to watch my children skate. As a disabled veteran who is unable to skate myself, it feels unfair to be charged simply for attending as a spectator. Additionally, my 88-year-old grandmother was also required to pay an entry fee, which seems unreasonable. I had planned to support your business by purchasing food from the snack bar, but this policy has left me reconsidering. I hope you will take feedback like this into account and consider adjusting your entry fee structure for disabled non-skating guests.

Dude what an awesome place. I haven't gone skating since middle school back 15 years ago. Me and my girlfriend went tonight and it was a blast. The vibe was totally positive. Couple people fell down and nobody laughed or made a big deal. Couple really good skaters there were fun to watch. The lady at the door/front counter was very friendly and smiling. The rental skates were pretty solid. My gf got the roller blades and can't speak for those. She wasn't going very fast tho. I was zipping around having a great time. I think I paid like $13 or $14 bucks for the two of us to get in and rent the skates. What a great price! Don't listen to the negative reviews. Idk how the one guy spent over $100 just on getting in. The lady complaining about the arcade too? Dude it's a roller rink! Go skate! The lighting on the floor was awesome, the music slapped, the guest and staff were great. Yes the rink is on the smaller side, but it wasn't very crowded and man it was a ton of fun! I seriously cannot wait to to back!

Fun afternoon spot for the whole family. Very clean, safe and kid friendly. We'd planned to go for an hour but stayed for three.

Such wonderful owners. I think the indoor playground inside is worth going just for that! There's the roller rink, arcade, and playground options for the kids. They also have food and drinks. It's always a great time!
Bekky M — Google review
Wife and I went to enjoy ourselves, ended up getting harassed by a group of unaccompanied minors and were barely there 15 minutes. The place seems nice, the facilities looked good. They have a selection of rental blades or quads. Shame we didn't get to stay longer. We reported the kids to the manager (owner?) and received a refund and tickets to adult night. Unfortunately we're both working adults and don't have time on a Friday night. We won't be going back. If you're an adult looking for a place to skate around, I would avoid this place until they change their policy on allowing unaccompanied minors to attend. I highly recommend Galaxie Skate Center in Richland Center. Edit: After seeing another review, it seems that this is a recurring problem and their policy definitely needs to be addressed.

Just stopped in to support local businesses and I will say their Rye Whiskey is pretty close to Jack Daniel’s in my estimation but be careful…bit stronger than Jack so you may need some ice enhancement! Very brief but positive interaction with the staff and very good experience overall! Staying in a local hotel at the time but had to give them a whirl! Recommended!

Stopped a couple times on our La Crosse weekend and had excellent and attentive service both times from Joseph. The Asian spiced Crispy Brussels Sprouts were terrific. The Rye Old Fashioned was in the top 5 all time for me and my wife liked her Nutty Blueberry just as much. Definitely will become a regular stop for us on future trips to La Crosse.

We make it a point to come in each time we are in town. This trip, we had such fantastic service, food, and drinks that we ate/drank here FOUR times in three days, lol! The Brussels are amazing, as are the smoked wings. We like the Robber's Rye. Be sure to try a cocktail. The staff comes up with recipes and they are delicious (I had the Live Lav Love). The customer service here is off the charts. Everyone was friendly and attentive, even when the place was full. Huge thanks to Addison, Tanner, Justin, and Ben for such a great time on our trip. We can't wait to visit again next Irish Fest time (or sooner!).

Went in today for lunch and had above and beyond service. No where in the area serves a good nashville hot sandwich, so after finding out they have one on the menu here I had to try it. Ill give it a 1000/10 to be honest. Chicken had good crunch and the oil had a perfect mix of seasonings and spices. Hats off to the chef. Ill be back again very soon!

Enormous, beautiful building full of antiques, collectibles, items of interest, etc from all sorts of time periods. Things are well organized and not overwhelming for the size. Lots of Midwest memorabilia. Top floor is like a nostalgic attic play dress up room, very dreamy. Basement is not creepy, it is well lit and has classic antique scent. Customer service was friendly.

very very very big store. and the people there have even bigger hearts. they have three levels, all stuffed with curious finds. cameras, typewriters, clothing, hats, boots, fine silverware, dishes, posters, decor, and furniture. i was very pleased with my experience here. one thing to mention is that no backpacks are allowed. BUT FEAR NOT because they have easy lockers to put them in.

What a cool place, this antique store is MASSIVE. It is like a museum where you can buy the stuff in the museum. This place is a La Crosse landmark!!!

It is a very interesting place I love the history. Had a lot of interesting items. It was like going back in the past. The building's architecture was fascinating. The old-fashioned stairwell was cool. The history of the building that it used to be at furniture store. Bought this little Snoopy dog. I'm thinking this came out in the late 60's early 70's. My cousin had one back in the day.
Darlene N — Google review
Great location in LA Crosse, near the river area. Close access to food and shopping. 3 floors of treasures with a variety of items. The issue is, pricing. Way to high on most everything. My wife and I have been antiquing for 20 years, we know where prices should be. In some cases these items were 25 to 50% higher. Multiple dealers talked about high rent forcing high costs. Seems like the owners are making things difficult for the dealers and impossible for shoppers. I spent $3 and left, that isn't my norm. Due to prices I wasn't even interested in negotiating with the people working on this date. Try it out to see it but be prepared to spend, spend, spend. Good luck.
Pete W — Google review
Worth a visit!! This is a GIANT store with plenty to offer! Everything from vintage fashion to crystal towers, books as old and wise as my grandparents, cool old toys, comics etc! Plus the building itself is a work of art and every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful :)
Madelyn M — Google review
This center is HUGE. There are a lot of things to see on 3 floors. Downside is that they're more pricey than another antique store down the road. Each vendor has his/her own space so pricing is individual.

One of the better places we’ve visited. Large selection of items.

La Crosse Regional Airport

Regional airport
Airport
La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE) is a small but efficient public airport located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It features a USO, a store/coffee shop, and a bar/restaurant after security. The TSA Pre is available, and there's plenty of seating and a small but efficient bar. The airport staff are known for their kindness and professionalism, making the travel experience enjoyable. Despite flight delays, the staff handles situations gracefully with stellar customer service.
Some incredible views flying into La Crosse airport this winter! Additionally, restaurant food was good and airport was clean overall!
Mitch D — Google review
I love this airport. It's friendly and helpful. They need a phone at the boarding desk so I could have called them the morning of my flight. I missed my flight by min. They also have Groome shuttle pick ups here to get to Minneapolis Airport. I got here early as you need to be prepared for the ride. Bring your neck pillow along.
Heidi W — Google review
My favorite mini airport! They have a clean and fun area for kids, plus comfortable seating for adults. The staff is always so sweet and accommodating. It’s always a pleasant experience!
Nikki — Google review
Gem of a regional airport, just wish they would get flights to Minneapolis back! It's extremely clean and well laid out for easy navigation. You can tell it's recently been renovated as everything is modern looking.I've never had a line more than five deep for TSA.
Jansen V — Google review
Small but efficient airport. They have a USO before security, but its only open Sunday thru Thursday 1000-1800. The store/coffee shop and bar/restuarant is after security but is always open when security opens. Security opens an hour or so before the first flight, so no reason to be super early or you will be stuck in the waiting area. They do have TSA Pre! They also have plenty of seating for a small airport and small but efficient bar. Pretty good selection of gifts and clothes ETC. Small airport only has 4 gates.
Mathew M — Google review
Super convenient! Even though it's small, the airport is well laid out and not crowded -making trips a breeze. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
Dena W — Google review
We went to a Blue Angels show but the other acts were great too. Keep in mind there was no specific parking for handicap vehicles and a wheelchair would be tough to push/ride over the bumpy terrain.
Sarah S — Google review
Do NOT put anything valuable in your bags when traveling from LSE. There is multiple people like Ninja that steal items from bags. I watched her find a men's bracelet that I found out later was never turned in.

Pizza restaurant
Polito's Pizza is a local chain renowned for its delicious pizza offerings, including both individual slices and large specialty pies. One of the advantages of dining at this establishment is the mouthwatering taste of their pizzas, which has received high praise from customers. A fresh pizza ordered for a family was particularly impressive and came at an affordable price of $34 for four people, beverages included.
Freaking excellent pizza. Garlic knots were fresh and delicious as well. Friendly service! Quesadilla pizza was just bomb. 💣 🍕 I would have gotten a 2nd slice if I wasn’t stuffed. Fantastic price — got combo 3 for much is 2 pizza slices, garlic knots, and 2 drinks for $16. Very reasonable. Bathroom also very spacious and clean! Always a plus in my book.
Bekah L — Google review
Pretty tasty pizza, the 20” is gigantic! Went there today for a pick up, lots of pizzas already made for customers to buy by the slice. I would like the crust a bit more crispy so next time I’ll ask for it to be cooked a little longer. The guys working there were very friendly and personable! Would recommend!
Courtney S — Google review
We’re just passing through and this pizza joint is better than most places in my town, fast friendly service and the foods really good, I’d post pictures but it was that good.
Scott H — Google review
We ordered a full pizza. That was delicious. I dont know how the large slices are but the whole fresh pizza was great. The two young men working were so helpful and very accommodating. They were friendly and very good at their jobs. The restaurant was a little dusty and needed cleaning near the bathrooms, but the great customer service and pizza made up for it. Very reasonable price.
Angie L — Google review
Decided to try this place out and got 3 pizza slices. 2 cheese and 1 macaroni & cheese. Wasn’t the biggest fan of how they had the pizzas out in open with no covering or warm lighting. She got the slices then heated them back up briefly in the oven. The cheese slices were decent, but wasn’t big fan of Mac pizza. The pizza was also really greasy which was not pleasant.. overall decent place to try but I’d order the pizzas fresh and not by slice unless they just came out oven.
Trae B — Google review
Best bbq chicken bacon i have ever had! Large slices, fast service, reasonable prices.
Jon W — Google review
Great tasting by the slice pizza and incredible value. I took my wife and three kids here for lunch and I was very surprised with my low total bill. Incredibly cheap price for great tasting pizza. Lots of different pizza slice options make it satisfying for everyone in my family. Definitely worth the stop.

Overpriced for the quality and they messed up our order — Canadian bacon isn’t pepperoni.

Culver’s

American restaurant
Culver’s is a popular fast-food chain known for its frozen custard and signature Midwest beef burgers. With locations in Onalaska and La Crosse, it's a great spot for family dining. The old-fashioned Butterburgers and special formula frozen custard are crowd favorites. Customers appreciate the high standards of food quality, with hot, freshly made dishes that live up to their advertising. The restaurant also stands out for its family-friendly atmosphere despite being fast food.
On Good Friday, our lively family of 11 descended on Culver’s on Mormon Coulee Road with high hopes and hearty appetites. We placed a hefty online order through the Culver’s app, requesting everything be ready by 7:00 PM. Our order was no small feat: 2 classic cheeseburgers, 6 golden cod dinners, 1 crispy chicken sandwich, 2 family-size servings of those iconic Wisconsin cheese curds, and a colorful array of sides and sauces to keep everyone happy. From the moment we arrived, this Culver’s team delivered a masterclass in hospitality. The entire order was ready right on time, every item meticulously prepared and piping hot. The cod was perfectly flaky, the cheeseburgers juicy, and those cheese curds? Squeaky, melty perfection. Every side and sauce was accounted for, ensuring our large crew had everything we needed for a fantastic meal. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service, led by the remarkable General Manager, Matt. His warmth and dedication shone through as he personally ensured our order was flawless and that every one of us left with a smile. The entire team radiated kindness and professionalism, turning a busy holiday evening into a seamless, joyful dining experience. This Culver’s didn’t just serve us food—they created a memory our family will cherish. For their outstanding food, impeccable service, and genuine care, this location deserves every accolade. We’ll be back, and we can’t thank Matt and his team enough for making our Good Friday gathering so special!

Ordered a simple spicy chicken sandwich meal with no pickles and a pumpkin spice shake fries were cold lemonade was watered down and I had pickles in my sandwich. I understand it’s mainly high school kids that work at fast food but this is ridiculous it literally says no pickles on the receipt. The managers need to do better at training there employees
Dakota H — Google review
My family and I eat at Culver’s a lot but I only recently discovered they have Rubens (my favorite sandwich)!!! I will admit I only focused on the hamburgers and never even looked the menu over. Well the Ruben was DELICIOUS!!! No more butter burgers for this guy. Thanks Culver’s!!!
Steve W — Google review
Culver's is unbeatable! The gentleman who took my order was full of personality and very friendly. We had a brief conversation, and he wished me a safe flight back to Boston. A woman also approached my table to take my tray and offered me a refill. The service at this location was top-notch! It seems that management puts a lot of effort into training and caring for their employees. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss combo with cheese curds, and I also enjoyed the Flavor of the Day, "Totally Reese's."
Dave H — Google review
The service at this Culver's is "amazing." I have never successfully receive an order that doesn't contain at least one wrong item. Food is ok. Its a Culver's, no significant difference from any other average Culver's. The cleanliness of this Culver's is slightly below par for typical Culver's. Table is often not cleaned. Spilled drinks will stay on the floor for extensive periods of time.
JIA T — Google review
Culver's consistently delivers a delightful dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the warm, friendly atmosphere is palpable. The staff are genuinely welcoming, and their enthusiasm shines through in their service. The food itself is a testament to quality ingredients and careful preparation. The ButterBurger, with its perfectly toasted bun and flavorful beef, is a classic for a reason. The crispy, golden fries are always a treat, and the frozen custard? Pure indulgence. Whether you opt for a classic flavor or one of their creative seasonal offerings, it's the perfect ending to any meal. What truly sets Culver's apart is their attention to detail. The restaurant is always clean and well-maintained, and the food is consistently excellent. It's a reliable spot for a quick, satisfying meal, or a relaxed family outing. Culver's manages to combine the convenience of fast food with the quality and care of a sit-down restaurant, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
Ginja N — Google review
I routinely have bad experiences at this Culvers, but go anyway because a good friend knows the owner and until recently I didn't have the below problems. Now I have to relay my negative reviews and go over manager's heads because they simply refuse to be respectful, get orders right (I swear, they are deliberately getting them wrong, like no top bun on a chicken sandwich, mayo that looks like spit when I clearly said no mayo, either smothering the burger with not-fresh veggies or making them so poorly even a double burger looks like it's going to lean and fall over.) Burgers with cheese not melted. Burgers with mustard when I didn't ask for condiments. Onion when I say no onion. Not spicy when I ask for spicy. Spicy when my friend asks for non-spicy. The ineptitude is far beyond a normal bound at this particular location. The biggest disappointment is the custard. Wow people. If someone asks for vanilla custard in their shake, you arrange that. If someone says hey I am really trying to find a balance, you arrange that. You do not reward DAILY repeat business to polite customers with a bunch of melted foam and whipped cream with no custard, and the other for someone else, pulverized with chocolate mix when the request has been "make a slightly thicker chocolate shake with more vanilla by adding vanilla custard, willing to pay extra" a common when Roman is working. Tempting to just throw it in his face, because it would splash -everywhere- (due to being melted foam upon delivery, and not thick as requested), after asking for a thicker shake. Not a huge request for a regular. It splipped. Should have made it thick, not soup. Use brain. Add less chocolate stuff (a lot less unless you want to wear it), spike the shake mix with vanilla custard, blend. Magic, rocket science. Honorary Doctorate for working a blender. Further complaints will just go directly to the owner. Further profits will go directly to another business owner. Terrible customer service... I've frequented all three of the major culvers in the area and this is the worst by far, purely by staff. The thousands they owe me in screwed up orders, I cannot count. Now the owner gets to hear about it and my review will stand so long as the bad service does. Don't go here unless you want to take a "very bad risk." Oh, they forgot the dogs pup-cup again, too. I often order burgers with just cheese for my pup who isn't long for life... and believe it or not, they **** that up too. Good lord I genuinely hate Karen's, but, the people who work here need restructuring BAD. The restaurant is clean, but the people who work in it are not...ever see that movie Waiting? You've been warned. You can plan on waiting around thinking about it because they take forever every time at this one. Check your bags BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY. ^Most honest input you'll ever get or read. Hilarious, disappointing, disgusting and true. If they chose to employ people who cared a tiny bit about work ethic I am sure the food here would be just as delicious as any other culvers. Until then!

Sandwich shop
Lindy's Subs & Salads - La Crosse is a relaxed and spacious counter serve restaurant that offers a variety of hearty subs, salads, and soup. The menu boasts great subs with numerous combinations to choose from. While the cheese options are generally satisfactory, it is advised to avoid ordering the American cheese as it is processed and doesn't taste good. The meat quality is decent and the vegetables are usually fresh.
I ordered the working class hero, regular size on French bread. Added mayo and Dijon, lettuce, tomato salt, pepper, and sprouts . The sandwich is big enough to eat twice. You can’t beat a quality handmade Sammy for this price. Shop was clean and well kept. The service was kind, friendly, and quick.

We had business in La Crosse over 2 days time and this restaurant was closeby. Being from Chicago, we are used to great sub places. The sandwich ingredients were very fresh, there just wasn't a lot of anything. I think on 2 regular turkey subs, there were 4 slices of cheese, and maybe 3 slices of meat- 4 at the most, very thin. The bread looked great, but had the soft, yukky texture of a hamburger bun, rather than the crisp, flaky texture we are used to in Chicago. Three sandwiches cost us just over $30. We were all hungry about 2 1/2 hours later. Nice clean restaurant. Friendly staff.
Mary P — Google review
I ordered Lindys online and accidentally selected pickup instead of delivery. Once I realized this I called them and they were able to deliver our sandwiches quickly. Our order was accurate and the sandwiches were great! I was impressed by how quickly everything was made and delivered!
Alexis E — Google review
Did not like the way I was treated whatsoever. I used to be a loyal customer but not anymore. In my opinion When a sign says close, that’s when the store should close not beforehand. I got there at 2:40 and they treated me as if I was a burden because I came so late or so close to closing time. I really liked Lindy’s, but thankfully, there were other sub shops.
Wade T — Google review
We just moved here from Texas in the beginning of the month and I’m glad I’ve already found my favorite sub shop! They’re sandwiches are totally different from the subs I’ve had back home and from the east coast but still really good! If you haven’t had their potato salad you are missing out!!!

I recently visited Fiesta Mexicana in La Crosse for a dinner with a close friend whom I hadn't seen in years. It had been quite some time since I last dined there, but the experience was exceptional. The food was mouthwatering and arrived promptly, while the staff provided attentive service. Upon returning to the area, I am eager to revisit or order takeout from this beloved eatery.
Food was outstanding! Salsa was a great-spicy mild! We were given TWO bowls of salsa at that! And they even refilled us on the salsa! I had a pick three combination which was really good. Even the co-owner even gave an on the house sopapilla. 10/10!

The place was basically empty when I walked in. Sat at the bar. Margarita was your typical. Staff were very friendly, hands down. The queso dip with chorizo sausage was good. They use the sausage that is not greasy. Yes, there is a BIG difference in chorizo's. Small selection on burritos meat selection, that is. They made accommodation for my to go order (pastor), normally tacos only here. A burrito does not and should not be served with Pico and sourcream on top. Those should always be on the inside. One should NOT have to eat a burrito with a knife and fork. Got back to my room in complete disappointment! Did not eat it much less touch it.

We stopped in for a late dinner a few weeks ago and the food was fresh and delicious. The horchata is about the best I've ever had (doesn't taste like bubble gum). Have been looking forward to coming back to La Crosse just to eat here again.

We had carne asada, enchiladas verdes, and tacos rancheros. The food was great, we loved the tortillas they were made there. I was served 4 tortillas with the carne asada plate. Most restaurants serve only 3. Don't forget the dessert. Dip fried ice cream is the way to go. I would come back again.
