Park
Iverson Park is a spacious public area with diverse attractions for visitors. The park offers a ball field, play area, beach, and picnic spots amidst its natural surroundings. During winter, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy activities such as sledding, skating, skiing, and tobogganing at the park. Spanning 127 acres along the Plover River, Iverson Park features wooded areas and developed sections dating back to the 1940s.
We had a very nice walk. A lot of activity but most of the people were gathered for parties. We had the trails to ourselves. Another great place to see the marvelous works of Creator God, thanking Him for the works of His hands.
Neil W — Google review
First time visiting in over 10 years but feels like aside from updated playground equipment little has changed, and that's a great thing. Enjoyed a mother's day lunch with plenty of nature around. (geese, other varieties of birds, frogs, fish and the classic crayfish!) As expected, Stevens Pointers were all nice and friendly. Bathrooms were very nice too!
Ryan B — Google review
Really nice park. Walking and bike trails, river, fishing spots, small beach, playground, bathrooms, and lots of open space. They have kayak and canoe rentals. We stop here to rest on our way up to the north woods when passing through Stevens Point. Easy access right off I-39.
Alex Q — Google review
Great bridges, swim area, fishing and recreation such as kayak launch and canoe launch and rentals. Very old park with lots of history and places to walk or relax in the lawn. Fast moving river water and sandy beach.
Jaime O — Google review
You can feel the history of this enormous city park as you walk along paths, buildings, and rock-lined streams built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s-40s.
Lance G — Google review
This is a very nice park. We met our son and 3 year old grandson there. He enjoyed the playground and grassy area to throw his football. We saw geese with little ones. People were enjoying a sandy area by the stream.
Joy H — Google review
Beautiful park with summer and winter activities, swim beach, play ground, walking trails, bridges, baseball field, sledding hills. Great for small kids. The park is always peaceful, maintained and in nice condition.
Rabe A — Google review
This is a very nice, well maintained, beautiful park. The stone-walled waterway is very pretty. There are walking paths, playground areas, and a small beach. You can kayak, swim, and fish. It has lots of geese, ducks, and squirrels. It even has a concession stand. Bring some bug spray with you though, the mosquitoes are pretty bad.

Park
Schmeeckle Reserve is a 280-acre natural area located on the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus. It features diverse habitats, including forests and a 24-acre lake, supporting various wildlife species. The reserve offers well-maintained trails suitable for walking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and running. However, it's important to note that pets are not allowed on the trails and drone usage is prohibited.
If you're looking to get away without getting away for a few hours this is the place to go. It's generally quiet and very peaceful. There are a few different ways to go and plenty to look at. You can truly enjoy nature and I've often seen deer and other critters chilling about. As you make your way around the reserve it feels like walking into a new world every time you go to a different spot. Very beautiful and highly recommend visiting at least once even if it's for a short walk.
Armando R — Google review
Decided I needed a good drive listening to podcasts, and this was the perfect spot to drive to and explore before heading back home hours away. Truly peaceful. I recommend walking out without earbuds and truly just taking it all in.
McKayla H — Google review
I love going here. Every time my husband and I do a walk through this park we find new mushrooms and come across cool animals. The scenery is very cozy and I think what they are doing here for the ecosystem is wonderful. My husband and I also enjoyed kayaking here.
Kimberli D — Google review
Beautiful place with tons of fresh air - there's mushrooms, spores, moss, and lots of ground leaves right now. We were trying to get to Green Circle Trailhead but Google navigated us to a private residence. This is the spot you want to travel to in order to get to that trail. Couple things to note before planning a trip: - no pets unless you walk along the street - no drones - this should go without saying, but no collecting
Kathleen R — Google review
I called ahead for kayak rentals, and was chasing something outdoors to do while a friend was in town. We didn’t make it long before rain the hit, but the visitors center did not disappoint. Melissa is who helped us kayak rentals, and was a joy to work with. Clean gift shop with many things to look at, will return soon.
Alex P — Google review
We loved biking throughout the reserve! Signs were relatively easy to follow, and the views were beautiful. You can also rent kayaks at the visitor center.

Partners Pub and Grill is a beloved local tavern in Stevens Point, serving up daily drink specials and classic American pub fare since 1977. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a popular spot for locals, professionals, and visitors alike. With 14 HD TVs, it's the perfect place to catch your favorite game while enjoying bar classics like $1 bloody marys on Sundays.
One of the best bloody Mary’s I have ever had! Visited from mn and will be back. Friendly staff! Fun local establishment.
Lisa L — Google review
Partner’s isn’t just a bar—it’s an experience. The drinks are strong, the vibes are stronger, and the owner? Let’s just say they’re the kind of person who lights up the whole place the second they walk in. Warm, charismatic, and—let’s be honest—ridiculously attractive. You don’t just feel welcome here… you feel seen. Maybe even a little tingly, if you know what I mean. 😏 Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning to close the place down, Partner’s is the kind of spot you’ll keep coming back to—partly for the ambiance, partly for the cocktails, and definitely for the owner. Highly recommend. Just… try not to fall in love.
Beth B — Google review
Came to this bar a couple times and was always impressed with the service and food. Very friendly, I travel all over the USA and this is 1 place Ill stop everytime. There is a mix crowd during the day and night. Came here on a weekend and was very relaxed and bar was packed but comfortable.
Truth11 — Google review
Good old-fashioned neighborhood bar/tavern with a mix of young and old locals and college students. Reasonable menu prices and typical bar food for the area. Very attentive waitstaff.

Just had the worst Bloody Mary ever in Wisconsin! I literally cringe when I come and see a young hot chic bartending here because that’s means I’ll get a shitty drink. Seriously thanks Ally for the worst bloody I have ever had!!!!

Movie theater
Took the children to watch the Super Mario Film at Rogers Cinema 7. We were a bit behind schedule, but it was easy to acquire tickets and grab some food at the concessions. Quickly located "theatre 7" without any mess or snacks under our seats. The movie presentation and surround sound were excellent, and the cinema staff promptly cleaned up after the show ended.
I've come here many times over the past several years. The staff is always friendly, the seats are comfortable, and they usually have a wide range of movies to choose from. The snacks are a little overpriced but that is very common for theaters.
Mathias G — Google review
I’ve been to this local movie theater a couple of times—it’s a chill pick. The movie selection is decent, and I can usually just show up and catch something. The place is basic, not fancy, and the concessions could offer more options, but it feels like an old-school theater. Perfect when you just want to see a movie without any hassle.
Harry S — Google review
Such comfortable seats! Plus they offer more shows than our theater in my town so I don't mind the half hour traveling.
Geri R — Google review
Great pricing on seats and snacks, was actually super surprised by that, don't know if was the time and day we went but had our choice of seats, only 2 other couples in the theater with us
Jdub — Google review
This place has a fun, weird vibe. Maybe it's just because we're near the end of the pandemic tunnel, but... It's $5 Tuesday and they're only doing one showing on each of the 7 screens, allowing plenty of time for thorough cleaning, so it felt like there were only a handful of people in the whole place. I'm freshly vaccinated, but even if I wasn't, they are taking every precaution to encourage safe practices. The theater is strangely labyrinthine, with odd blank hallways that seem confusing at first. I thought maybe I was going the wrong way! It definitely has the feel of an old building that was updated in the '90s, which is kind of charming, but definitely dated. Soooo many white, textured walls! The neon lights above the concessions are awesome and the service was fast and friendly. I would love to see this place jazzed up a bit more, particularly the long empty hallway to screens 1-4 and the dingy bathrooms. Put up some cool old movie posters! I would also be thrilled to take advantage of some sort of rewards or membership program, which doesn't seem to be available at this time. It's a great motivator to visit more frequently. Oh, and pretty please add menu information to your website or Facebook? Even if it's just a picture of the concessions options!
Jessa D — Google review
It's not an IMAX but it's not priced like one either - the big screen is nice and big, the candy selection is solid and not priced like AMC, and they don't skimp on the cheese for the nachos.
Drew M — Google review
Great pricing and the time we went there was only 2 other couples so we had our choice of seats
Ronald F — Google review
The staff here are good. The food selection is terrible. Theaters are old and outdated.

Visitors can explore an extensive collection of one-of-a-kind treasures such as vintage finds and locally made crafts. Impromptu stop at Antique Up was an excellent decision. This place was quite large and offered something for everyone. Awesome selection and lots of unique, interesting, and cool things. Affordable prices on most everything. Definitely stopping back next time we are in the area.

I just bought a large wood shelving unit that needed to be disassembled to get out. A gentleman named Bob helped me disassemble it and load it into my trailer. The help was greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Brandon A — Google review
Gave it 2 stars because what happened is not a vendor problem. Store overall clean variety of booths. Some antiques some decor. Staff is another issue. I purchased 7 items one which was a $4 ring. I got to the car to put ring on and it was not in bag. I went back in and asked did it perhaps get left on counter or dropped. She said no. I went back to the car dumped my bag out in the seat of my car it was not there. My husband went back in since he had paid to ask again if they saw it. Employee said no we don’t have it and I know I put in the bag. Now we weren’t trying to ripe them off for a $4 ring. Employee never apologized or even looked for it. No refund offered. My husband walked out and we left. Such a disappointment. We will just stick to the store in Kimberly. Booths are better and customer service is always outstanding.
Jennifer — Google review
Such a sweet place to shop! 100 vendors. New, repurposed, vintage, eclectic, clothing, food. And a Man Cave with anything a guy could want. Treat yourself to a fun shopping experience.
C R — Google review
This was a fun shop. Lots of stuff, variety, not all antiques but that didn't matter to me. Came away with some cool stuff.
Z D — Google review
Very nice store. It's a combination of antiques and crafts. Each booth was organized well. We found quite a few things we liked.

Pizza restaurant
Little Caesars Pizza is a beloved carry-out chain that offers a delightful array of menu items, including their famous chicken wings and signature breadsticks. One standout feature is their buttery garlic-flavored breadsticks, generously sprinkled with parmesan cheese and served alongside the iconic Crazy Sauce. For those craving something unique, the Crazy Puffs are an excellent choice—imagine a delicious fusion of pepperoni pizza and Italian cheese bread!
Love Little Caesars. The crazy puffs are perfect for a lunch for one person and they are like a cross between pepperoni pizza and the Italian cheese bread they are so delicious. The Italian cheese bread is amazing I love that seasoning that they put on it. They also have slices and sticks where you can get pizza and Italian cheese bread in case you can't decide which one you want which is awesome. Usually if I'm getting a pizza I'll go with the extra most bestest because I like a good amount of cheese and toppings. I have to agree with others that the only thing that is disappointing is the crazy sauce is overpriced and you get hardly any in the containers. App works really well. Overall I recommend, I go to them over Pizza Hut and Domino's hands down.
Derek M — Google review
Food is great! However the sauce containers were literally barely 1/4 full AND it’s cold! Like come on. Barely any sauce for an entire order of breadsticks!?
Jessa N — Google review
Just went in to get cheesesteaks. Told me that they had some in the oven. It would be 3 to 4 minutes. Waited over 15 minutes. Then my food was sitting on top of the open counter for at least five minutes before she came around and handed it to me. I was standing there the whole time she visually saw me and looked at me in my eye. Why would you let my food sit out?
Amanda G — Google review
The pizza no longer smells or tastes like it used to. It tastes and looks burnt. Orders are also made wrong lately. You're no longer 5 star. I wouldn't give you none if I was able to. A minus five is more like it. Clean your ovens pans and turn the temperature down. Your food sucks lately.
Marcia H — Google review
Ordered a pepperoni pizza and an order of crazy bread for pickup. I was on time for pick up and saw my order visibly sitting on the counter so I went in to pick it up. I then saw the staff hand my pizza to another customer that had walked in. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my pizza to get made. Incredibly disappointed and I will never be coming back to This Little Caesars again.
Ethan P — Google review
The employees here have been pretty nice. But the wait time on my doordash orders cost me a lot of time and money. I sit there waiting for pizzas to get made when I could be delivering them.
Joey F — Google review
I brought my pizza all the way home and it look like they just throw my pizza in the box.....barely had cheese and looked like most stuff was sliding off to point it looked like most of the pepperoni stayed on but the cheese that was barely on was was sliding off .....we didnt tilt the pizza or nothing before coming home it was flat all the way
Brandia — Google review

Rock N Roll Cafe is a retro-chic American diner and cafe in Stevens Point that offers a blend of American comfort food and Mexican breakfast options. The 1950s-themed ambiance takes diners on a musical journey to a simpler time, complete with classic rock music and vinyl-backed seats. We almost went to Perkin’s because it was right next to our hotel. Thank goodness we didn’t! The food was delicious, prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was cozy, and the wait staff (especially our waitress Amy) was wonderful. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

Diner experience to a tee! From the menu to the decor this place is a whimsical restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly. The music was fitting and the booth seats are upholstered with metallic flake vinyl. Food came out fast and hit the spot for us! Omelette was delicious and the sandwiches aimed to please. Small plates restaurant
Father Fats Public House is a popular gastropub in central Wisconsin, offering a diverse menu of elevated global fare and craft cocktails. Despite some feedback on slow service and pricey drinks, the restaurant remains a favorite for its thoughtful dishes, comfortable atmosphere, and attentive staff. The industrial space with a patio provides ample seating for guests to enjoy their dining experience.
Great farm to table food in a fun tapas atmosphere! Spaghetti egg rolls were unexpectedly delicious! As was the blueberry cocktail! Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!

Father Fats recap. We flipped a coin and ended up here Saturday night after a long day of floor scrubbing 🥵 Overall, great experience!! It’s a small plates experience so you order a variety of dishes and try a few pieces of each menu item. We ordered a bunch of dishes and they were all excellent! Favorite was a tie between the pulled pork taco, lamb meatballs, and filet. The desserts were disappointing so we capped the night at @coldstone which never disappoints. Highly recommend overall though! The menu changes daily so we will definitely be back! 🍹Margarita and aperol spritz 🌮 Pulled pork taco 🥗 Chopped salad with balsamic 🥩 Filet medallions 🦑Calamari 🧆 Lamb meatballs 🍤 Firecracker shrimp 🍮 Crème brûlée 🍰 Lemon lavender cheesecake (🤢)

The food was very tasty. The waiter was oddly rude. It wasnt very busy so the attitude felt unjustified. The atmosphere was a bit depressing. There was no music. I had expected like jazz, instrumental or indie but it was quiet which made it seem a bit depressing.

I spotted this place while walking through town and had no idea what I was walking into. The entrance does not prepare you for the outdoor seating area - absolutely stunning garden where you can eat your food and drink your drinks. I had a lot of fun checking out all the crops while waiting for the foods. Everything was yummy, but the cheese curds in particular were extra squeaky!
Frank B — Google review
Overall, I would say the experience was just ok. The drinks and cocktail menu were nice. The daily mojito was watermelon flavored for summer, and very good. The food was just ok, everything was a bit salty. The steak medallions were great seasoning and sear, but the sides and sauce were not a good pairing. The swordfish was cooked well, but the noodles it came with were so incredibly salty and didn't pair well together. I'd probably not return.
Kayly R — Google review
The food was amazing, beautifully done and tasted just as great. Service was top notch, and the outdoor patio was so comfortable. Perfect for a small group and special occasions.

Park
Pfiffner Pioneer Park, situated along the Wisconsin River, offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. The park boasts paved paths, a gazebo, a bandshell, and even a dog play area. Families can enjoy the tot-lot and playground while taking in the scenic beauty of the flower garden and art gallery nearby. A green circle trail provides a picturesque route for walking or biking alongside the river.
This park was close to my parents in laws house so they took me and my family. I didn't expect that much before I get here but this place really blew my mind. There is an art gallery and a garden right across of it. The flower garden was my favorite part of this park. It was fabulous! I really enjoyed walking along the river because there were some beautiful flowers here and there. There was a playground for kids and a little pond with beautiful water lilies. Such a beautiful park with beautiful flower gardens. I highly recommend to stop by this park if you are visiting nearby.

A park that truly has it all: wide green spaces to relax, peaceful walking paths, and beautiful views of the Wisconsin River. In the summer, it’s extra special because they often host concerts and outdoor events, creating a lively and welcoming vibe. Perfect whether you want some quiet time alone or a fun day with friends and family.

It was a beautiful day here on Saturday, very peaceful and pretty. We'll visit often, I'm sure. ***Update*** This is a beautiful, peaceful park with a lake, bands, food trucks... beautiful wildlife, butterflies, bike trails..... very relaxing.

Just as I remember it, every time I visit, even with several years in between. Love that the magic of the nature along the river continues to be preserved and maintained and enjoyed by people. Love the natural wildflowers as you walk towards the boat landing.

Beautiful park! Nice walking paths, near the river, Beautiful flowers!

Overall a nice park. Definitely need more garbage cans. Take the kids and enjoy some free live entertainment on most weekends during the summer.

Nice size park on the Wisconsin river in Stephens Point WI. Old lumber mill, small art museum, botanical garden and an outdoor theater are some of the gems inside this nicely kept park.

Mead Park, located in downtown Stevens Point along the picturesque Wisconsin River, offers a variety of amenities for visitors. The park features a disc golf course, tennis courts, ball diamond, playground, picnic areas, and a dog-friendly beach. It is easily accessible from main roads and provides an ideal setting for picnics and gatherings.
This park is amazing! I'm so happy to see all the improvements. This has everything you could want from a neighborhood park. A huge playground, basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoes, tennis court, beach, walking paths, restrooms, plenty of grills and picnic tables, a neighborhood garden, shelters and restrooms, a Little Library, open spaces, disc golf, and a bunch of Pokestops and gyms. They did such a great job with this place! Right on the water, so you can fish, or swim, or put out canoes. I can't believe how much work they put into this park. I rate this as one of the best small parks is in all of Wisconsin, and I've been to a LOT, all over the state. Stop here! Bring your kids! This place is awesome!

My kids love this park, so do I. The design is so unique. My kids and I visit whenever we are driving thru.

Yesterday was warm and both my friend and I decided that we were going to take our pets I have two cats and he has a dog we wanted to take them swimming and we couldn't we live in Clark County so this was the only choice to go to that was close by home. Not to be mean or anything but when I want to take my pets with me I want to be able to take them swimming too I'm not a neglectful owner and neither is my friend we like to have our pets with us in the water when we go swimming we checked out several other places I don't think we're going to be going to any of the parks in Wisconsin anymore if we do not find one close to us

Love this park!!! The ONLY actual dog beach that we have found in Wisconsin to date! Located along the Wisconsin River, fenced in and super for all our fur babies!!!

Our kids favorite play spot in Stevens Point. The playground is fantastic with something for just about every age. Agree with others that it is so big it's hard to watch the kids from one vantage point, and parking can be limited on busy days. Great park!

Brewery
Food & Drink
Stevens Point Brewery, located in Stevens Point, WI, is one of the oldest continuously operating breweries in the United States. The brewery offers regular tours where visitors can witness the beer-making process, explore the warehouse, and sample a variety of craft beers, ciders, and soda. Additionally, they are known for their Snow Pilot beer and offer convenient curb-side pickup.
What a fun place! The tour costs $10 and you get drink tickets and a glass worth over $20 total. Great vibe to the place. It’s the second oldest continuously run brewery in the US!
LAURA H — Google review
Loved the huge selection of beers and ciders. We went on a tour and it was interesting but wished it had a little more history of the brewery rather than general info about beer. Live music outside on the day we went so that was great. Got to sit outside, enjoy the beautiful day, and there were even a few pups outside with their families too. Will go again!
Brittany K — Google review
We took the 1PM tour with Pierce! He was awesome! Highly recommend if you are in the area. So much history to learn about this place! Also, great selection of beer. We sat outside to enjoy the weather for a while! We will definitely come back!
Andrea S — Google review
I have been through Steven’s Point many times. This was our first time stopping at the Point Brewery… Why did I wait so long??!! It’s a cool little stop in a residential neighborhood that seems like an unexpected area for a brewery. We stopped in just to see the place. We didn’t have time for the tour, but wanted to check out the buildings, tasting room retail shop. Let’s just say… this place is worth a stop. Our recommendation . Buy the tour ticket for $10. You get a free pint glass and 4 sample coupons. Get your self four 7oz samples in the tasting room which is perfect. And less expensive since a sample costs $6 on its own if you buy it at the bar. If you don’t use the sample coupons you can turn them in for a bottle of beer in the gift shop. Two coupons gets you one bottle. The tasting room is reminiscent of an old world bar and worth the stop on its own. There is a large outside area for sitting with great tables, and ambiance. Stop in at the point brewery. Worth your time even if going a few miles out of the way. And, you can get their beer by the bottle or case in the retail shop. And they have many varieties. More than I ever knew!!
Mike R — Google review
Great place to learn and sample. $10.00 tour, 4 samples and a souvenir glass, can’t be beat! There’s a small gift shop, an outdoor beer garden and a really nice bar. Plenty of beer and cider varieties to try.
Debby S — Google review
We attended a Suprise birthday party here for a family member last Sunday. We found the Tap Room cool and inviting - a great place to take your friends and have a beer and watch an event on one of their large TVs. The tap room was connected with both their gift shop and a large, indoor eating room, which looked out through a wall of windows and doors to a private, fenced in area, where we had our private event. The tap room offers a selection of beer and tasty sodas, plus pizza and a few snacks. Reasonable prices! We were allowed to bring our own food for our party. The outdoor area was fenced in and featured both tables and sturdy chairs in the under roof patio area, plus some picnic tables under umbrellas in the grassy area. The facility offered corn hole games and a huge Jenga set for the kids to play with. Good service from the friendly staff made the event easy to happen. Clean bathrooms. Wheel chair accessible. I wish we lived closer because I'd make it a point to drop by occasionally.
John J — Google review
This is one of my favorite brewery tours. It’s fun for all ages. You get a pint glass and get to sample beer, cider or sodas. I did not make a reservation for the tour but it’s recommended. Outdoor patio is fantastic. Carry in food is allowed.

Such a welcoming atmosphere. Took the tour with our guide, Gracia. So much fun & free 7 ouncers!! Sat on the patio soaking up the Oct sun. Had the pizza which was delish! Overall a phenomenal experience!

Additionally, visitors can enjoy boating opportunities and explore biking/walking trails throughout the park. Very nice area. Great for a morning walk. Calm, relaxing, peaceful. A little heavy on the mosquitoes today, but still worth the walk. Many birds (including ducks and geese) and squirrels, and even saw a Bambi. Follow the path from Pfiffner Park, past Stevens Point Skate Park. You won't regret it.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Huge. It absolutely love this park, and it's location. I recommend coming on a day when it's quiet, and you can just peacefully walk amongst the trails and water. I also recommend coming during events such as the one held on the 4th of July. Just an awesome energy all around.

Great park that includes a good boatlanding, nice kids play ground, walking trail near the river and a huge skate board park. Fishing from the bank and piers is decent depending on time of year.

Just completed a walk along the river from Pfiffner Park to Bukolt Park and back. It's a gorgeous day with temperatures in the mid 80's with a refreshing breeze coming off the water. A near perfect late Spring day!

The Stevens Point Sculpture Park is a 20-acre outdoor art exhibit connected to the Green Circle trail. It features a scenic walking trail with various sculptures by local, national, and international artists. The park offers rotating environmental exhibits and educational programs, making it an enjoyable place to visit in Stevens Point. Visitors can take a leisurely walk through the wooded area to observe the quirky and beautiful art installations placed at different stops along the well-groomed gravel trail.
Loved this little trail and sculpture park. The whole green circle looks like a fantastic bunch of trails and spots. The sculptures were great and we really enjoyed the little hand drawn banners from local elementary schools - it was a great touch. Would love to come back on our next drive through Wisconsin!
Megan A — Google review
It’s free to visit. Parking is ample. Art is subject to the viewer so some may really enjoy and some may not. The walk itself was enjoyable but the amount of mosquitos makes the walk slightly unbearable. I found some of the sculptures to be a little on the weirder side with pretentious signs explaining the artists meaning behind the sculpture. I found a few of the sculptures to be very well made and unique while others in my opinion were odd and out of place with no real thought put into them. I think this place is one best formed with your own opinion, all depends on what you like to look at.
Heather F — Google review
I visited the sculpture park while in town on business. What a gem! I enjoyed a serene walk through the woods while admiring the artwork. As with all art, some pieces spoke to me more than others. I particularly liked the artwork that focused on nature and blended seamlessly with the surroundings. The trail was well maintained and the path had no major hills, so it is easy to walk. I encountered a few other visitors with bikes and dogs. It takes an hour or less to see everything. I highly recommend visiting this local treasure spot!
Stacy B — Google review
This was a great option to stop at along a road trip route to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. The park is kept up very nicely, and has a nice clear walking path. Unfortunately for me the mosquitoes were very bad during our time so I ended up cutting my walk short because I didn’t think to take bug spray.
SamP — Google review
We stopped here to stretch our legs on a roadtrip. The trail is at the front of the parking lot on the right. Nice trails. You will see the sign for the sculpture garden, follow the sign.
Lisa D — Google review
Very nice walk through the woods finding something new around each turn. I loved the art work by the students! (Don’t forget the bug spray)
Pamela A — Google review
Variety amongst the offered art pieces. Trail is neither long nor difficult. Likely most beautiful in fall, winter would be interesting as well.

Worth the drive, plan to spend some a couple hours enjoying this mostly flat walk with some amazing sculptures!

Im currently an employee here , the owners are fantastic and its just a fun place to work in!! Great place to stop into get a favorite sandwich and soup. My many favorite places for subs!! LOVE our chicken wild rice soup!!!!! To die for!!
Pauline R — Google review
Food is tasty enough, and staff are friendly (when they're not understaffed or busy). However, just like with everywhere else, prices have increased. Expect to pay between $11 and $15 for a combo.
Hello N — Google review
Service was fast and easy, all the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and our order was worked on and finished immediately after ordering. My one (incredibly superficial) complaint was that they were out of the bread I wanted, but because there is no bad choice with erbs and gerbs bread, this was hardly an inconvenience. Absolutely my favorite sub shop!
Robert W — Google review
Ingredients always taste fresh but they have been “out of turkey” twice now. Very frustrating especially when walking in to no other customers. The second time the employees working were also overheard talking about getting/cutting some more but didn’t seem to want to actually do it.
Saige F — Google review
We ordered on the Erbert and Gerberts website. But, on the weekends Erbert and Gerberts contracts with doordash for delivery. We had no idea. Our order was missing food for 2 of my coworkers. Erbert and Gerberts refunded our money but did not bring us the missing food. They said it was a doordash issue. "No soup for You" !!!
Carrie B — Google review
So apparently they redid their menu. So they got rid of the Erruptor, which was the sandwich I always got. But that's fine, I figured I'd try their hot subs. I got a Philly Cheesesteak. I gotta be honest, it was the most mediocre Philly I've ever had, it took like a minute for the guy to make it, and they charged me close to the same that a place like Firehouse or Jersey Mike's would, and it's not even close. Just such an incredible dissapointment. Don't bother getting any of the hot subs. I'll not be coming back any time soon.
Redtiger — Google review
I walked in had no clue on what I wanted and Joe recommended one of his favorites and Kenny set me up with the most delicious sub i’ve had in a minute! 10/10 Would definitely eat here again👍 They don’t play when it comes to flavor from the bread to the ingredients it was fresh all the way through! And Joe really brought a great atmosphere to my eating experience!💯
Gage R — Google review
Absolutely love this place and the new owners! Our order got messed up through DoorDash and Katie and Dakota gave us a free brownie for the mess up. This is the only place I order subs from and will continue to order from them! Also, the broccoli cheddar soup and bread is to die for ☺️

Event venue
Muse at Sentry, located in the Sentry Building as part of the SentryWorld resort, offers a casual yet upscale dining experience with classic paintings by artists like Picasso adorning its walls. The restaurant features a diverse menu including wet- and dry-aged steaks, hand-rolled pasta, burgers, and dishes like Wester Ross salmon. Using local ingredients, their seasonal menus offer flavorful options such as Pan-Seared Scallops served with butternut squash and crispy prosciutto.
I lived in Denver for a few years where I was introduced to "finer" dining and since moving back to Wisconsin, I've been missing such an experience. My sister stumbled upon this restaurant on TikTok and much to my excitement, it was located in Stevens Point! I basically was in love walking into the dining room. Soft lighting, not noisy. Our hostess was pleasant and friendly. I'm gluten-free and don't drink alcohol and there were plenty of options/modifications that could be made for me. Everything was absolutely delicious. The pre-dinner sampling was a blackberry tea with a watermelon radish - it was so good I meant to ask if I could get a full glass of the tea! The scallops were in the top 3 of best I've ever had. And my pork chop dish was mouth watering from start to finish. I know I sound extra but it's been two years since my last fine dining outing and this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I also cannot recommend the Earl Grey Creme Brulee enough. What an exquisite taste and my twin was slightly envious she had not ordered it for herself after taking a bite. I did have a few bites of her White Chocolate Cheesecake with blueberry compote and lemon curd - and that was most certainly another excellent option. Both desserts were also gluten-free! It truly was a delightful time and memorable for our birthday. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and her lighting candles on our birthday desserts was the cutest thing ever. 100% I will be bringing my friends and family here.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary this past weekend. I hadn’t been to Muse since it rebranded from @1800 so I was excited to see the changes. My first impression was the restaurant was fancy and had nice lighting but the seating arrangements were oddly not private at all. I sat across from my husband and had couples a few feet away on either side of us. You could tell there was white noise but it actually made it very hard for me to hear my husband while I could hear the couples on either side of me quite clearly. It was also quite cold. Service was very good however I understand that it’s all about the experience so from sit down to check we were there for about 2 hours. We started with drinks and were offered a sample of a new little dish with a cracker, goat cheese and caramelized onions which was so good! We also ordered the special shrimp appetizer and it was certainly the best shrimp we’d ever had. For the mains, we ordered the roasted sweet corn Caesar salad, the elk chop, and the pork pasta. There was a little miscommunication because the salad came out as an appetizer and it was super tiny which ended up being fine because it was nothing special. The pork pasta was bizarre. It was more of a pork soup and basically had zero flavor. The elk chop was amazing and was cooked perfectly. The bread service and mashed potato gratin were also excellent. We love dessert and though none of the desserts looked good, we ordered the apple coffee cake. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Cake was dry and the nutmeg and cinnamon are so overpowering it burned my mouth a little. Honestly a disgrace to desserts and should be taken off the menu. This put a big damper on the entire meal. Final note-after the first course, I began to feel a little off and I did get fairly sick that evening into the next day. I have a sensitive stomach but I’ve never had issues with high end restaurants. I’m not against giving this place another chance but I need to emotionally recover from the dessert disappointment so it may be awhile.

Very beautiful place to dine . Love the ambiance , decor . Food was delicious , service excellent. We have not been here in 5 years because we were unaware it reopened after Covid ! They even have a table with a beautiful Picasso painting on display . We plan to return here for dinner and bring our daughters 🤗

This is an extraordinary place to have extremely fine dining. The service, the food, the environment, is second to none. This was our first time there and we were incredibly impressed with the hostess (Stephanie) and the waitstaff was amazing. Every aspect of this place is first-rate. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience. We will be back and soon.

Excellent staff, incredible food, and exactly what you would expect from an elevated dining experience. Update as of 3/29/24: If anything, this place has managed to improve upon the near perfection experienced last time. Our hostess, Ellen, was an absolute delight and it always adds something special to our experience when we are lucky enough to have her service. 13/10, can't wait for the next menu.

I had an amazing dinner experience at a high-end restaurant in the United States with my colleagues after work. The restaurant offered a wide selection of craft beers, which perfectly complemented the delicious meal. The ambiance was sophisticated, and the service was impeccable. The dishes were exquisitely presented and bursting with flavors. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a delightful surprise. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly impressed me. I would rate this dining experience a perfect 5 out of 5.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary, and our waitress made the experience so special. They set flowers on our table because we told them it was our anniversary. We were given drink and appetizer samples that were incredible, and she even brought out a nonalcoholic drink sample replacement for me since I told her I was pregnant and couldn’t have the first option. Dinner was delicious (handmade pasta dishes - yum!!!) and reasonably priced, the atmosphere was intimate and romantic, and the free dessert for our celebration was phenomenal. We will definitely be back for future celebrations.

Point After Pub & Grill is a relaxed haunt in Stevens Point that offers a variety of pub basics, including burgers and wraps. The restaurant has a 70s diner/pub vibe and is highly rated for its food, service, and atmosphere. One of the must-try dishes is the haddock prepared in different styles, such as beer-battered or cajun pan-fried. For those looking for something unique, the Fish Reuben comes recommended.

Great attentive waitresses. Food was delicious, fresh and presented in an interesting way. I visited during March Madness when the bar area was packed with fans and there was no issue with slow service, clearly this establishment staffs for increase in customers. Funny signs in the women’s restroom!

The service here is amazing! So friendly and just very outgoing and checking in on how we were doing! Loved, loved the service. The food was on par for a bar type atmosphere. The fish fry was okay, but very, very greasy... it was to the point we were taking the breading off the fish because it was so soggy. The swordfish was fine but it needed some more flavor and was a bit dry. I enjoyed the broccoli cheese soup. Overall it was just okay.

First time here, we will likely be back. Appetizers were Excellent!! Highly recommend the Pretzel bites and the Portabello Mushrooms !! Burgers were okay, a bit on the dry side. BLT sandwich was good. We really enjoyed the brew city fries ! Waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful.

By myself and had a deluxe make your own pizza and a glass of wine. My server was appropriately attentive! My 10 inch pizza had a great crust- thin and crispy with little bits of burnt cheese which I love. Lots of great leftovers I can’t wait to finish off tomorrow!

PROS: *MOST of our food was good *Our server was sweet & attentive *Cozy atmosphere CONS: *Not very kid-friendly 1) It’s loud 2) They have EXTREMELY limited kids meal options— hardly anything for a picky eater & the only option for a side was fries. No fruits, vegetables or even kettle chips available. (They didn’t have other options for adult entrees either) *Meat on the hot beef sandwich was so dry it was almost inedible. All in all, I’d return! EDIT: In response to the response we got by owner, we specifically asked our waitress for substitutions for french fries on all meals. She said the adult entree they could do sweet potato fries but that's it. (Still fries) Also, she said that there were absolutely no substitutions for kids. Just wanted to clarify, this wasn't something we were displeased by due to our own lack of due diligence. Otherwise, it wouldn't have effected the rating I gave. But I'm very happy you correctly informed me for the future!

I gave 4 stars overall only because I expected to be able to get a Point beer in any bar in Stevens Point.😃 Both the chicken and wild rice soup and the French dip sandwich were very tasty.
Mathew B — Google review
Ordered cheese fry, beef sandwich & soup. The cheese fry was a pile of cheese & pizza crust mushed into a styrofoam container, not even able to separate the ‘slices’ & as you can see the beef is also a pile of mush on a bun. I called asking how they would correct the pile of cheese fry & the guy (claiming to be the owner) asked what I expected if we didn’t eat it right away (because I said I just got home with the order & live outside of town). I did not speak over him & I didn’t yell like he claims in his reply. I was upset that he kept arguing & passing blame at me. He said I should have asked for a pizza box when offered during ordering, but I wasn’t offered that. I said it is very poor customer service & I asked for his name & that was when he hung up on me.

Yummy food, prices were good, limited food selection but we both found something really tasty. Appetizers sounded good but didnt try any, we were full on our lunch alone. They had a nice selection of alcoholic drinks but wasn't in the mood for a drink.

Putt -N- Play is a family entertainment center that offers a wide range of activities for kids and adults alike. The creatively designed mini golf course provides a fun and challenging experience, while the well-designed laser tag arena offers a thrilling adventure. The recently expanded game room features classic and new arcade games, ensuring hours of entertainment for the whole family. Additionally, visitors can enjoy delicious food options such as juicy burgers, crispy fries, funnel cakes, and ice cream.
Everyone needs to come here. Such a family friendly place. Couldn't believe how nicely priced it was-games were 25 cents and gold for 4 was less than 10$ a person. Loved the idea of spin the wheel before each hole. Will def make the drive up here again

Honestly this is the most pleasant arcade and golf i went to. It's not blasting music to the point you have a headache. Fyi bring cash for games, it's the old-school quarter system, (which honestly is more fun than the card system). The outdoor lasertag is a complete blast, it is way more realistic than the cheesy plastic vest ones and the course is in a realistic like environment. The minigolf is well kept, (not falling apart). The added glow in the dark section is a nice twist. Highly recommend trying this place out, I will be coming again. The picture is the laser tag area.

It was worth the 2-hour drive their; some fun arcade games a couple of them didn't work properly but it was still fun, the mini pot was fun and so was the mining.

We had the pleasure of hosting a birthday party for my daughter here. This is a great space to entertain a group of kiddos! The owner was very accommodating and flexible. The employees were extremely kind to the kiddos as well. We will definitely throw a party here again!

Love this place! Very family orientated wholesome Christian owned. Affordable. Fun for kids and adults/entire families! Good service. Employees are kind and helpful. Environment is comfortable and accommodating. If you have your heart set on playing laser tag, I suggest calling and reserving it ahead of time to make sure that you get your group in.

Brewery
District 1 Brewing Company, located on Division St. in Point, boasts a spacious and inviting taproom that offers an impressive selection of beers on tap and in cans, including various lagers. The brewery also stands out for its extensive collection of pinball machines and other entertaining options.
Whether it’s going out to try new food or listen to a local band, District 1 has it covered! They offer lots of free events and tasty brews and have an awesome array of games like assorted pinball machines, rubber ducky claw machines, pac man, pull tabs, etc and great live music! The staff are super welcoming and always quick to get you whatever you need! They have a whole area showing off the beautiful process of how they make their brews! Today my fiancé tried to the wonderful waters seltzer! It comes in two flavors but she got the mixed berries 10/10 and my buddy got the blue rad 10/10 both different from the other but amazing choices and they pair really well with there new pizza! Their new pizza oven is beautiful and gives off a great aroma of freshly made pizza! The cheese pull was insane on this meat lovers pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had, I’ve never had a pizza with similar proportions hold itself up as well as this pizza did! The texture, the flavor, and the overall ingredients used to make it were fresh and intricately made to my liking! Overall a great place to hang out enjoy a few brews and play some games and enjoy food! Haven’t had fun like this in a while!

Great brewery. Larger than I expected with comfy sitting areas and lots of games and pinball machines. The beer is very good with very knowledgeable bartenders. I will be back.

Great drinks and nice staff. They have pizzas and some snacks foods. We didn't order any food but the people down the bar did and it looked and smelt great. They also allow carry in food and had a deal posted on one of the monitors if you brought food in from a local restaurant.

Very enjoyable bar and fantastic beer and seltzer options. Next to Oso, the most adult fun place around with pool table, cornhole, and a dozen pinball machines (plus a few old school arcade games). Tones of fun and great staff! 😎👍🍺

Apple pie sour beer is 10/10! Loved the atmosphere and service was fast and friendly. Just wish the apple pie beer was sold in cans, not just crowlers.

I only tried "Penalty Bocks" bock this visit, but enjoyed it very much. The staff was pleasant and appropriately engaging. The clientele were happy but, in my opinion, fairly subdued. But then it was Saturday afternoon on a nice spring day in Wisconsin. Later Saturday night I'd bet it gets much more lively.. Edit - been back many times, fun place, great beer. The space is clean, modern, and can be well lit. The brew equipment is fairly out in the open, and apparently all staff get to try their hand at brewing. I plan to return when I have more time and sample some of their other brews.
Bill H — Google review
Great atmosphere. Fun staff. And the beers were amazing. Samples a few and had a hard time picking one for the 16 oz pour! Will definitely be back.

I am disappointed as I traveled from Milwaukee to participate in a WSGA event at SentryWorld Golf Course. I had been eagerly anticipating playing on this course since the beginning of the year, especially after it underwent renovations. However, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the tournament was ultimately canceled after many hours of waiting. Now, I have to wait until 2022 for another opportunity to play here.
Every part of our 2 night stay was amazing and worth the money. Treated like royalty with conditions of the course and all facilities perfect. From check in, taking bags to our room, cart barn, snack shacks, pro shop, ect was all top level. And most importantly huge shout out to our shuttle driver Eric who stayed out all the way until bar close just for us when they typically don't. He's the man.

Outstanding all inclusive golf experience. Friendly and accommodating staff, great food and beer selection that allows you to fully enjoy your day and grab anything and everything you need. 20 minute interval tee times are a game changer - never felt rushed or forced to move quickly. Took our time and had an incredible day. Can't wait to be back!

Sentry World Golf Course is an incredible inclusive golf experience. As soon as you walk out to the range to warm up each box marked exactly to the flag. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food included in the round of golf tastes great and has a great variety for snacks and drinks. As well as warm and cold sandwiches at the two concession stands. The walking caddies were a big help helping guide us around the course. They are 5 stars alone!! All a round a golfers dream. The par 3 16th is very beautiful designed hole as well.

I had the honor of officiating a wedding at Sentry World and I can not express enough about the beauty, cleanliness, and hospitality this venue and space provides! I ran the rehearsal for the wedding party where Dalton, the venue coordinator attended and assisted with the logistics and ensured complete understanding and care I needed to assist the wedding party the day of. He was here right in the morning chauffeuring the wedding party as needed for photos and was seamless with the ceremony cues. Communication and customer service was beyond wonderful! Highly recommend this space and their staff! From one professional to the other they know how to set up, host, and take care of their guests!

Course is very expensive but in my opinion worth the price. Staff super helpful and always goes the extra step. Unlimited snacks and drinks including alcohol every couple holes. This is not your average golf course. I promise, you will be amazed.

Short summary: The practice facilities are overrun by a college golf, and they continued to be overrun every single evening of our trip. Go to Sand Valley instead. I came for a late summer golf vacation, and after a morning round, I wanted to go chip with some buddies. We turn the corner, and the practice facilities are overrun by a college golf team. Every single hole on the putting green had at least 3 golfers and the chipping area had 7+. Is sentry world now a home golf course for a local college? I would’ve thought they just held a meet, but it was like this literally every single evening. It really diminished the atmosphere. Just go to sand valley. I should add that when they weren’t at the practice they took the entire range. Now that I think about it, this may be their home course. One of the kids working kept bringing the team large buckets of balls to hit which is representative of a home course.

PJ's-SentryWorld is a Wisconsin-based eatery that offers traditional local dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and craft beers. This relaxed golf-course restaurant is known for its exceptional architecture and attracts both locals and tourists. Recent visitors have praised the delicious meals, refreshing cocktails, and friendly service. Standout menu items include the poached pear salad and salmon burger. The restaurant also offers a variety of other mouthwatering options such as Wisconsin old fashioned cocktails.
100% get the cheese curds. The reviews hyped them up, as did the waiting staff, and boy did they deliver. They're lighter, crispier, and more nuanced than many others I've had the privilege to enjoy, so absolutely worth it. Everything else we got was at minimum B tier and as high as A+ tier - beer selection, made-in-house sauces, classically executed American dishes. Just so excellent all around, would absolutely recommend and return.

Love the place. Arrived and were going to wait for a table, get cocktails. Went outside. The friendliest server greeted us outside, and even though they were winding down on serving on the outside area. She cleaned off some spent glasses around the firepit and got it lit for us. So nice, just over the top friendly. Inside we went when table was ready, more great service. Everyone was just great. We visited twice last year, but plan on trying to visit at least twice more this year even tho the season is winding out. Thanks for a special night!

Worst Holiday dining experience ever! Too bad we had our Thanksgiving planned for here!! Food was cold, sent the braised chicken back. Rice was old crunchy and cold. Chicken cold in the center, undercooked. Smoked pork pasta came to the table cold as well. Fish was overcooked. Burger was ok and appetizers were hot and tasty. Expected better than gas station quality food. I feel like we were served food out of the slop bucket.

Well, another flop for PJs. Last Wednesday during the band, I ordered two seltzers from the main bar. The (what looked like male manager in charge) dropped one of my seltzers (on the other side of the bar -- where I couldn't see) and did not tell me when he picked it up from the ground and placed in on the bar. Ample opportunity to say, "hey, open the other one first, I accidentally dropped this one" and there would have been no problem. Little did the bartender know, two people who knew me saw this happen, but the one could not reach me in time before I opened the one that was dropped. And ended up with seltzer dye all over my favorite shirt. It's a shame. The food is horribly inconsistent and not worth risking the cost at about a 65% bad vs 35% good..The two things PJs had going for them is service and atmosphere. Now they've lost the service star. I thought it could just be me, so I asked many people in town their opinions. They all track with my review. Do better PJs. The potential is there, the execution is not. I will post weekly reviews of PJs for the foreseeable future.

We reserved the celebration room for my sister’s bachelorette party and the service and food were all 5/5 amazing! I have a lot of allergies and they had a whole separate menu for me, which was awesome. Our group was quite large but our server, Becky, was absolutely extraordinary and was so kind. We were even given a free dessert for the bride-to-be, and it was so good. Definitely recommend this place: wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing service.

Nestled in the heart of Stevens Point, Olympia Family Restaurant is a charming diner that serves up classic American cuisine from dawn until dusk. This beloved eatery boasts an extensive menu filled with familiar favorites, making it a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. One standout feature is their renowned homemade soup, which has garnered quite the following.
My friends and I came in on a Saturday night, and although the local high school was having their Homecoming Dance, we didn't have to wait for a table. It was fun to see all the kids dressed up! Our food was excellent and served very quickly. Our server, Cheyenne, was very attentive and good at what she did. We had specialized requests for our dinners, and she worked very hard to get our meals the way we wanted. We will be back!

We ate here a while ago and decided not to come back after being served coffee in a dirty mug (covered in lipstick stains, I don’t wear lipstick) I decided to write it off as a one off experience, until a staff member opted to lose it on me on Facebook for not wanting to drink out of an obviously used cup. I’m not sure if the staff at Olympia Family Restaurant know basic cleanliness practices, but maybe people don’t want to risk potential oral diseases from drinking out of a strangers dirty cup 😬

Oh my goodness. The soups, they were absolutely amazing. I'm still craving more of it. The rest of our food was just as good. The waitress was such a sweetheart. And the atmosphere was just like feeling like you were a part of the family. There was a regular there in a booth across from us. Very nice and sweet guy. Talked to us like he knew us forever. The place made us feel very welcomed and we will definitely be back. Especially for that amazing soup. I have the creamy vegetable and my daughter has the chicken and dumplings. Can't wait til we go back to Stevens Point and we go there again. And everything was reasonably priced. You can't get better than that.

Culver's is a delightful fast-food chain that truly shines with its signature burgers crafted from high-quality Midwest beef and creamy frozen custard. During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service; the staff were not only friendly but also incredibly efficient in keeping the dining area spotless. It’s refreshing to see such dedication to cleanliness, as tables were promptly cleared for new guests.
It was late night and I wanted to get an order of cheese curds. When I walked to the counter, I was greeted by more than 1 employee, they were friendly and ready to take my order. I was given my total and as I paid, I told her I would be right back, I had to go to the rest room to wash my hands. I was on a 350 mile travel across WI and I saw the sign advertising cheese curds, and had to stop. When I returned to the counter, I was given my bag and wished a good night. It was a pleasant experience and the service was excellent, quick, friendly and accurate. I would recommend this Culver's to anyone and I will be back again myself.

This is a good Culver's. You always roll the dice, because the bad ones are worth avoiding, but the good ones keep me coming back. Very friendly people in the front. And the absolute best-bussed Culver's I've been to. Seconds after people get up, the table is wiped. No looking around for a clean place to sit. Courtesy of the young gentleman. I didn't have a chance to sample the burgers, so I'll just have to expect the best next time. But these kids are on their game.

My son ordered a butter burger kid's meal with bacon, but when he took a bite he realized there wasn't any bacon. He told Maya J at the counter and she had a new one made at no charge, which was more than she had to do. She went above and beyond. Thanks, Maya! Culver's in Stevens Point is lucky to have you!

come to this Culver's a lot. The staff are always friendly and they actually put people at the counter so I don't have to wait forever to order unlike SOME places (cough cough... Got drive through and guy who gave me my food asked if I was an oopsy-baby, then told me how he was one but his parents tried telling him he wasn’t, but that he didn’t believe them because his mom was 16 when he was born. He changed his mind when his ex (16) wanted a baby. Very interesting life story, gave me a fist bump after. Honestly most interesting conversation I’ve had after a week of finals. 10/10 👍

Absolutely stunning park with well-maintained bike trails and hiking trails. Bear Lake literally took my breath away, it is so beautiful. It is at the bottom of the ski hill. It is an intense hike because of all the HILLS but it is well worth it! I felt very safe here and crossed paths with other hikers and bikers.

Bike trails for all skill levels. Walking/ hiking trails, with hillside Wisconsin scenery. Lodging to relax and all sorts of blackberry/ raspberry patches on the trails in the late summer/ fall. Disk golf ⛳️ and picnic areas with rooftop shelters. So many summer activities. Winter ❄️ fun for cross country and snow shoes. Downhill skiing and sledding/ tubing. Standing Rocks is a must for outdoor park enthusiasts.

We went mountain biking for the first time. Took the “easy” trail with my seven year old and we each had a blast. Well maintained trails and great family fun!
Anna Z — Google review
It's a nice diverse park. I will address only the mountain biking. It's kept up well and has a great looking building at the trailhead. Never open, but still nice. Overall good but some nagging issues that are frustrating. First of all the trail sign at the beginning rotates to display winter skiing trails and then mountain bike trails. Well, it's still on the skiing trails and it's August! The trails are marked hit and miss. Some intersections are clear and some you get to are not clear at all, too many options. The trails themselves are fine, not great, just ok. At the southern beginning you have to go through the easy trail to get to the medium or hard trails. A little inconvenient but the first trail is ok. I will go back just because there are not many nice alternatives in the area.

So impressed with the turnout at Standing Rocks on a random Sunday evening. South lot was full as was the dog park parking. Lots of hiking, disc/Frisbee golf and mountain bikers. Single track is in awesome shape. So many improvements even since last season. Appreciate all the work from the pasta group and volunteers. Park has become a real gem for central Wisconsin.

I hadn’t even left the building and the paint became a slip n slide after saying under the heat for over 20 minutes. I’m so sad and disappointed especially with the cost for getting nails done. These nails were for my wedding in less than a week and I had to take everything off when I got home.

Highly recommend, I am thankful no migraine since massage, very skilled therapists who really are in tune. I also was able to purchase some essential oil which helps and comfy pajamas from the gift shop.

Made an appointment for the Essential Pedicure for my elderly mom who is 90. (The ladies that answer the phone are super professional and friendly.) The large, vintage house and property where the Wellness Spa is - is gorgeous! You feel like you are in a fairy tale cottage, but a really big one with a spacious, well-stocked gift shop! Entrance and exits are wide- easy in and out. Plentyful parking including handicapped parking- which my mom appreciated. Everything from chocolates to lotions, candles and clothing- very fun to browse. Although I just drove my mom to the appointment, I was also offered a heated neck cozy and was able to accompany my mom to her pedicure. Ann does the pedicures and she was EXCELENT! Such a friendly young woman and she was so gently with my mom's toes! Massaged her lower legs with some sugar scrub- got her hot tea- really treated her like a queen while giving a very professional and thorough pedicure. I was so impressed, made 2 appointments for another pedicure for mom and an upcoming Christmas massage appointment for my husband! Shhhh! Very impressed with the Wellness Spa. No wonder they've been in business 31 years!

Stevens Point Dog Park

4.5

Dog park
Located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the Stevens Point Dog Park spans 30 acres and provides a fenced area where dogs can roam off-leash. The park offers amenities such as waste bags, garbage bins, seating areas, and water for pets. It features trails and a designated area for small dogs. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to socialize their pets while enjoying the primitive yet enjoyable setting.
Dog park is gorgeous. Lots of goldenrod blooming now in August. But plenty of ragweed too; if you’re allergic to it take care. Remember to be kind to your dog and people friends and clean up poop.
Mary M — Google review
While it is a very spacious park, it is full of rocks and has no light. The dog I own doesn't do great with other dogs, so we come when no one is there, usually night. Because we go at night, we have to park our car against the fence to have any chance of seeing, and even then we can't actually explore the park, only the entrance. The rocks are EVERYWHERE and range in all sizes. From small rocks you'd find in gravel to massive rocks you'd use to hold your door open, and because they're everywhere, a lot of dogs get hurt when running. Mine, for example, broke one of her nails in the small dog area when she ran after a ball and did a hard stop. While it is a lovely park, please be aware of your dogs paws when leaving.

Large with trails and small dog area . Use your GPS because it’s kind of hidden . They had water in a cooler plus dishes for them to drink from also park benches Primative but very enjoyable for dogs

My pup and I love going here to burn off some energy. Pros: waste bags, garbage bins, seating area, water provided usually Cons: irresponsible owners not picking up after their dogs, potholes in the parking lot
Manda B — Google review
It's my dogs favorite and all the people and dogs have been nice for the most part. Watch out for the muddle puddles if you have a dog that loves to get dirty

I have been going to the dog park since 2009. It is well maintained throughout all seasons. I appreciate that the park is a free, safe place for my dogs to run, play and meet other dogs. I have met some great dog people at the park and I appreciate having this space in my life for me and my dogs. Highly recommend.

Stevens Point Farmers Market

Farmers' market
The Stevens Point Farmers Market, located in the historic downtown area, is a lively community hub that honors Wisconsin's agricultural heritage. It offers a diverse selection of locally grown produce, handcrafted items, fresh meats, and artisanal cheeses. Visitors can engage with local farmers and artisans while enjoying seasonal specialties. The market features an array of products including vegetables, meats, eggs, baked goods, cider, fruits, honey, flowers and more.
Busy place! However, I was able to find a good parking spot. The variety available was good! I was told that there wouldn't be many vegetables, but I saw plenty of them there. However, be aware that there is a LOT of walking with no place to sit. I personally couldn't see all of it because I couldn't walk very much. But my friend with me said she wants to go back soon.
Jacquie K — Google review
I love this little market. So many sellers and varieties throughout the summer. If you like unique, check out the mushrooms guy. His product is delicious and he'll will tell you everything you need to know about cooking those Gourmet mushrooms. Only runs Saturdays. Get there early for the best product

Fabulous farmers market! We have never been here as we are from out of state. Had no idea it was so huge. Many vendors with lots of veggies, flowers, and other items for sale. Wish we lived in the area so we could visit more often.

I will forever love and recommend this farmers market! Beautiful bouquets, in season produce, handmade crafts and other artisan made items, vendors with coffee, fresh, warm, delectable, mouth watering food. What more can you ask for? It's in a wonderful location, there's the little fountains the children can play in and it is downtown near all of the shops so you can support other local businesses as well!

Graffiti's Sports Pub is a lively bar known for its party vibe, large-screen TVs showing sports, and occasional DJ performances. It's also recognized as the best burger joint in town, offering a relaxing dining experience during afternoons and early evenings. The pub features massive televisions covering the walls to ensure a great view from any seat without feeling crowded. With a wide variety of food and beer options, it's an ideal spot for game watchers.
Came here with a large party post-graduation, service was quick and friendly! Prices are also very reasonable and I was very pleased with my selection, the Po T-Roy sandwich.
Alex S — Google review
The food is good and affordable. The service this time was less than expected. This place has room for many patrons with 10 or more tables and bar seating. There were only 2 tables to wait on, ours, and one more. Plus, a couple of people at the bar. We were treated as if the place was filled to the brim, and they were short staffed, which would make sense. Our waitress did apologize before we left. Maybe she was having a bad day. This is our go-to place after Walk Wisconsin each year.
Michaelene C — Google review
Food was okay I guess. Got charged $3 each for just plain club soda - ‘sparkling water.’ Never been charged anywhere for a darn water. Wouldn’t have ordered it had I known. Bathroom door lock didn’t work.
Brie O — Google review
I've never been to Graffiti's before and went out with my best friend, it became a dangerous situation at another bar and my friend was really drunk and didn't a vehicle. Ubers weren't available either. I talked to the owner and bar tenders and was very accommodating to our circumstances. The owner paid his employee to give us a safe ride home. That act of kindness was so wonderful and left a very lasting impression on me. They took time out of their long busy Saturday night shift to care for some strangers who felt desperate. That is something I will never forget. Thank you so much. Thank you for showing us empathy and getting us home safe.

Vietnamese restaurant
Point Market & Vietnamese Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers traditional Vietnamese cuisine and a variety of Asian grocery items. The unassuming eatery, owned by a Hmong couple, serves up an extensive menu featuring 12 different kinds of Pho and other delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients from the market. Despite its strip mall location, this spot is known for its authentic flavors and generous portions.
Had the large beef pho. Gluten free and tasty. Fresh veggies and spot on some of the best pho I’ve had. It’s not fancy. It’s exactly as it should be. Lovely service staff. Bought some veggies in the store for cooking and the cilantro, baby bok Choi and fresh ginger were perfect, they were in bags at time of purchase so couldn’t see what the condition of the vegetables were until I got to the house. I will definitely return when I visit the area again.

Always top notch food and services. I love their Vietnamese Coffee (hot or cold). Vermicelli bowls are my go to. But the pad Thai and pho is also good. We have had the lemon grass chicken( my personal favorite), pork and shrimp. Egg drop soup and egg rolls also get a thumbs up! A must stop! There is also a market next door which has a wide variety. Fresh produce, meats as well as candy, rice, noodles and more.
Anna Z — Google review
Proper Vietnamese Coffee and Thai Iced Tea! We had family visiting from out of town and I had heard that the food was wonderful here so we ventured out to see for ourselves. The food hit the spot! Everything was flavored wonderfully (spice or no spice was great for those who preferred heat to those who can't). We had a bit of a wait, but it was a busy Sunday lunch hour and not bad at all. Appetizers came out fairly quick, drinks were perfect (that Thai Iced Tea I highly recommend), and the mains arrived at once, all hot and everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered crispy egg rolls, pad thai (spicy and an order of not spicy), boba, Pho, Kua Mee (sweet stir fried noodles), and fried pork belly with rice. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes on their menu.
Cam W — Google review

10 out of 10 PHO! I've tried 16 different restaurants across the country, just one was close, but still never found better PHO anywhere. This redefined 'flavor', generous helping and incredible price!

I’m in the parking lot typing this because I just love this market so much. I’m a huge enthusiast of authentic cuisines from all different cultures. This place has fresh beautiful authentic ingredients to make delicious food. This place is like walking through heaven to me. Employees are friendly and helpful! I have been here 2x now and they were both in a row of that tells you anything! So much to see and explore I can’t wait to experience new flavors and foods!

Tried for the first time today. Amazing service! Very helpful and cared about making sure they were careful about food allergies. Answered all my questions and made me want to go back. Ordered the chicken skewers and Hmong sausage for appetizers. I wasn't a fan of the sausage texture, but it had good flavors. The "small" bowl of pho was actually HUGE...so tasty!!! Figured it would be the best place to try it the first time. I wasn't wrong. I'll go back because now I want to try the pad thai and the vermicelli bowl. 🍜 yum!

Food tasted stale, no flavor. Almost as if prepared once a week then heated during the rest of week for orders. Very over priced for what received.

First time here. Came here around 11AM on a Saturday morning. Service was ok. Waiter gave us water in the beginning after we sat down, but the waiter did not come by to fill up our water once we ran out. We had to stop her and ask her to fill it up after the food was pretty much done... Took about 45 mins to receive our food. What we ordered: - 2 Plain Pancakes It was fluffy, and big, & delicious! - Medium Well Steak Breakfast Steak was cooked to the point where it was very dry. Our waiter did not come by to fill up our water, so I was struggling to eat the dry steak. I chose "fries" on the side, but it looked & tasted like cut up pieces of boiled potatoes that ended up getting fried on a pan.. I got a side of home made white bread. It was delicious, and fluffy. Eggs were ok. - Eggs Benedict Sauce was good. The side hash was good, and was served a good amount.
Maihlee Y — Google review
I ordered a thursday special. The person on the phone had no clue about it. Paid $11 for a single oversized pierogi. It was delicious but not worth $11. It would have been alright if it came with another pierogi or a side (not counting 2 leafs of lettuce as a side).

Usually I absolutely love this restaurant today I am sad to say I did not have the same experience. This morning going in to cozy kitchen for breakfast the waitress Joanne was impatient and during our entire meal her demeanor with only our table was unpleasant and came off and rude and rushed. When asking about if we had done something to offend the waitress Joanna in some way she then made a public scene about our inquiring about the service. Sadly will probably not be returning.

Well, it's a stadium owned by the city of Stevens point. The field is synthetic, and there's some cool events that go on there. My main complaint is that the seating consists of benches, and are essentially huge bleachers. The bathrooms are heated, though, which is nice.

UWCU is great. We’ve been with them for years and have nothing but great things to say with the staff. Everyone is always nice, and helpful throughout all of the unique situations we’ve had - cars, homes, refinancing, opening up a business account, and lots of other stops like emptying out a piggy bank, and getting a sticker for stopping in. We’re very happy with the credit union if you can’t tell.

I have banked at almost 10 financial institutions over my life due to moving/bank ownership changes and sometimes dissatisfaction. But UWCU has been may favorite to date. Their app and website are modern, reliable, and have all of the functions that I'd want and more. When I call I talk to a kind and knowledgeable person, and when I bank in Point the tellers are friendly and efficient. Meeting with bankers for other matters such as account changes and loans has always been a breeze. They mix the friendly small town vibe with modern offerings and conveniences, and they even recently updated their account features to give me more interest and lower fees.

Skipp's Bowling Center, located at 2300 Strongs Avenue in Stevens Point, WI, offers a total of 24 synthetic lanes for bowling enthusiasts. Whether you're an individual looking for some casual fun, part of a league, or planning a private event, this center has got you covered. In addition to the main attraction of bowling, Skipp's also features glow bowling for added excitement and entertainment.
Was bowling with my 4 year old daughter and she ended up falling and cutting her chin open. The guy behind the counter got the first aid kit promptly and helped me to comfort her as well as cleaning up her cut and patching her up. He went above and beyond his job as a bowling alley employee. I didn't catch his name but if he sees this thank you for showing my daughter kindness when she was freaking out.

Super unimpressed with the service. It took 3 high school boys to figure out 4 soft drinks, and after two hours of waiting for pizza, my husband had to go ask where it was. They said “oh you ordered pizza?” By the time we got it, it was closing time so we had to get it to go. Returned our shoes and the kid scowled at me like I was inconveniencing him…

All of the balls had chips and marks and all of the balls no matter what seemed to go to the left no matter what we did like it was crooked or something. On top of spending 45 dollars for us and our 2 kids to bowl 2 games we had to fork out more money for the ramp which is ridiculous. Because my kids needed bumpers we all had to bowl with bumpers. The place seems outdated. The glow bowl was only the pins lighting up and the only music playing you had to pay for by song like we are in a bar or something. Wouldn't go back for sure. However the workers were nice

The staff was amazing and extremely kind and helpful. Even with 4 other birthday parties going on they made sure to come around and make sure everything was going good. They even gave us candles for our birthday cake because we forgot ours. We will definitely be coming back

I was there for a social gathering and the 2 bartenders did not go in any order to serve customers and I sat waiting for what seemed like a very long time before I had to basically grab their attention (yes I had my money out to show I’m here to order lol)! People came in from bowling area and got drinks then left, plus new people came and were served, I’m still waiting. It’s common place to expect bartenders to go in some sort of order, right?!! I did not visit the bathrooms however people with me did and said it smells like a sewer and not to go in there but go to the one furthest away but only if you really have to go. Friends seemed to enjoy bowling, shoes seemed to be in good shape, but there was a complaint on how greasy the bowling balls were.

Amazing place...I enjoyed myself soo much with my family while visiting our son in college. Clean environment and so affordable 👌 for my family. The hospitality was amazing Tom behind the bar was an amazing bartender answered all our question's. He was awesome thank you and I will be back definitely!!!!

I took the day off work to spend some quality time with my family, and we decided to go bowling at 5 Star Lanes. It was our toddler's first time bowling, and the experience was everything we needed and more! From the moment we walked in, we were treated so well. The man behind the counter was amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His friendliness set the tone for a fantastic day. The arcade was pretty sweet too!

We had our adult children join us for dinner at Michele's. They were as impressed as we always are! Thank you again for a wonderful dinner!

Amazing food and great service. Worth a stop. Every staff member was accommodating and made efforts to ensure the evening went well. Nancy was great! As a bonus they knew how to make a Harvey Wallbanger without looking it up!

First, I want to say the only reason I give this a four-star review was because we were actually there for an after funeral dinner and not not for an actual menu dinner. That being said, the staff was phenomenal, the fried chicken, dinner rolls and cooked carrots were fantastic. Some of the meatballs were a little dry but overall a great experience and will plan on visiting here again. One of the things I didn't expect was the Whiskey selection. they had all my favorites, such as, Buffalo Trace, Redbreast 12 and 15. They also had a few I haven't gotten to try yet, such as Weller's, Blanton's, and Eagle Rare. Looking forward to going back.

I have no clue why I don't hear more about Michelle's. It was amazing! Absolutely delicious everything! The rolls were a little harder than we would have liked but we can't even complain

Our dinner was absolutely wonderful. We had calamari, smoked salmon, parmesan garlic filet, ahi tuna, citrus chardonnay shrimp & seafood basciani. Everything was truly delicious & perfectly cooked. Thank you to our server Sam and to the chef for a perfect evening.

My last visit was tremendous food cooked perfectly. I had the lamb and it blew my mind…with that being said , I brought my fiancée and was talking up the lamb and it was tough and way overcooked! Even appetizers were not the same as previous times. We usually go on Fridays and this was a Saturday. So I’m thinking maybe a different chef worked??? It was not worth the $200 I spend in there every time we go. I tip the waitress $50 just because she was great. So for $250 it was not worth it and now I’m nervous about going back and feeling embarrassed again!

Came here on a fairly busy Saturday night (reservation) and were very happy with our dinner. Menu has a great selection, not just steak & potatoes like some clubs. Good atmosphere, doesn't feel like a bar like some clubs. And of course the food was great. We will be coming back for sure. (Google maps takes you to some back paid parking lot that is fenced off and not part of the restaurant)

We literally make trips from Iowa to visit here! Food is always excellent, staff are friendly and fun and they make a great old fashioned! Have the Chef's seafood special, prime rib or Wendy Can't Decide and you can't go wrong. Come early to sit at the bar before you eat - you won't regret a visit here and will leave full!

"The Watchmens Gone" in Stevens Point is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts. The Jalapeno Bacon and Black & Blue burgers are highly recommended, and the Edgy Wedgy is a hit with teenagers. The restaurant also offers excellent dinner options at great prices. Visitors rave about the Cajun Catfish, which comes with a delicious salad and perfectly grilled bread. While some have experienced service issues, others praise the warm atmosphere and personable staff.
Warm atmosphere. Very personable staff. Great food. I had a Reuben sandwich! It was awesome.

The food was as good as everyone says. Burger was done right. Chile was delicious and fish was tasty. BUT there was no milk. No fries. And the service was terrible. Should have known when I saw the sign in front that said help wanted. Kids did have fun playing with the jukebox. Salad was crisp but underwhelming.

Awesome food at reasonable prices. Everything here is made with fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly too!

Best burger in Stevens Point! Jalapeno Bacon and Black & Blue burgers were out of this world. The Edgy Wedgy is teen approved too! If you've not been here yet, make it a point to get here...soon!! Excellent prices, service, dinner options. Update 26 July 2019 - yes, we were here again! This time I enjoyed the Cajun Catfish, complete with a tasty salad and the best grilled bread ever! Seasoning on the fish was exceptional and the catfish itself was not "fishy" as this type of fish can sometimes be. The Albacore Gouda Tuna Melt was a hit as was the Edgy Veggie burger! Always a treat to come here for dinner and we totally enjoyed ourselves, adding a couple of ice cream sundaes to the fun - try the KitKat one, it's really scrumptious!

Best burgers in Point so far! Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend.

I love this cute little local gem. -friendly staff, and unique dishes. I'm still craving that KimChi Reuben. After dining in many times I stopped in for carryout this weekend. I was getting a cold and was craving that home cooked nourishment, but with more unique flavors than I could have done. I actually pulled into Copps then realized that Watchmens is right behind Copps, with tasty home cooking. It was just what my sick self needed.

We stopped in for homemade brownies and ice cream. Awesome! Waitress was very friendly. The owner took a little warming up. Have heard great things about the main dishes, but haven't tried yet. Good beer selection and great atmosphere.

I was excited to try this place, heard lots of good things about it. We can start out with the pros of this restaurant , I liked that they had hanging menus all over. Different items on different walls, made me feel I had to look everywhere, which to me was unique. Now the food was just ok, I got the soup with roasted pepper and sausage. The soup was bland, and If you told me there was roasted pepper in it I would of never guessed. We were told it came with sour cream, but when we got our cup there was no sour cream. We asked about it and she told us it only came with the bowl. That would of been nice to know when we ordered the cup. I got a burger, now seeing everyone was talking about how they put their own twist on the food, I was excited. What I got was a bland over done burger. The burger lacked salt and pepper, my fried onions were very bland as well. My wife got the Blue Cheese burger, and hers was done medium, it was juicy and they used huge pieces of blue cheese. So take it for what it's worth, I wasn't overly impressed, the one thing I did enjoy was the side salad that came with my burger.

I’m happy that there’s a vegan spot in town! Service was great, vibes are cute and homey. The food was very good, though most of our plates weren’t as warm as I think they should’ve been. Definitely would return if we’re ever nearby again!

So I ate my chili and my friend ate her salad before I took a picture. Very eclectic friendly comfortable place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Lots of variety here to include entrées salads and desserts. Had zero complaints and would go back again.

5 stars – Vegan Delight at Wicked Willow Stopped by Wicked Willow in Stevens Point, WI, on our way to Wausau, and it was a fantastic find! The extensive vegan menu had something for everyone—my Buddha Bowl was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Kid-friendly with coloring sheets and board games, keeping the little ones happy. Cozy vibe, friendly service, and allergy-friendly options made it a perfect road-trip stop. Highly recommend for tasty plant-based eats!

Have heard a lot about this restaurant but it hasn’t been opened when it was convenient for us. We’ve been missing out. The food was great - the service was friendly and accommodating. They were opened on a Monday, which is a bonus because lots of restaurants aren’t. We ordered our food at the counter. It is nicer to have a waitress serve when a tip is asked for. Everything we ordered was tasty and a good portion. Not too much not too little. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was interesting. Thick and not super flavorful- other than the peanut butter.

Stopped in today after hearing other reviews about it, through word of mouth, and it was very good. Food was the right temperature, decent portion size and very tasty. However, it was a bit on the pricier side and they do not honor their 20% off coupon, which is still advertised on their own site. Staff was very attentive but not over bearing and the atmosphere was serene. Worth the trip.

Super delighted to live near this place! I have a gluten allergy and also prefer to eat vegetarian/vegan and it is sooo hard to find that combination anywhere. They have a great array of options but their nachos and fries are my favorite! Very simple but it’s so hard to find these options that accommodate a gluten allergy. I hope they stay around for a long time!

We decided to check this place out today. And I'm thrilled we did! Great food! Great service! All three of us loved our meals! And Great service. This is a must try kinda place! I never thought it was possible to enjoy a vegan meal as much as I did today! Thumbs up 👍

Love this place. I can’t rave enough about its encapsulating atmosphere, food, and service. If you want to change your life, and are not quite sure how; ask! Walk in and tell the knowledgeable servers you want an item that will change your life. They not only keep in mind allergies, taste preferences or dislikes, but their choices satisfy each and every time. Bring a friend and enjoy the best vegan dishes this side of the Mississippi River!
