Today, I attended the 2025 PA Home + Garden Show. If you just purchased a home, are looking to upgrade or transform your home, or maybe add some curbside appeal, you need to visit this show. It is a one-stop shop for remodeling or upgrading your home. As a garden enthusiast and houseplant parent, I was disappointed with the many home remodeling options, but there were not enough gardens. I’m thankful to see the presence of local businesses like Ashcombe Fern Mobile Plant Shop, the Palmyra Mobile Greenhouse, and, new to me, Seymour’s Apothecary & Plant Boutique. Definitely, a fun day one stop shop learning about business in Central PA

Talk about a cool place! This farm to table dining experience is one you’ll want to bring friends and family to. With artist quarters and galleries to check out while you wait, and even an entire craft brewery selection to choose from at the bar you’ll want to keep coming back. The menu items are all so enticing it was difficult for me to choose what I wanted to eat; I would’ve ordered the entire menu if I had the time. Had the wood fired pesto pizza and everything about it was great from the bread, to the sauce, cheese and pesto! I strongly recommend the French press coffee if you want a good cup, and if you want a cocktail, you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. The drinks are beautiful and taste incredible. Will definitely be coming back! Just don’t forget to make a reservation as this establishment is really popular during the holiday season.

Found this scenic trail hike, best place to unwind and relax in. Must be more beautiful when flowers bloom ☺️ Dogs are allowed, however they must be leashed at all times. Restrooms are available in both north and south checkpoints (where parking lots are). I find it interesting that the Wildwood Way Trail offers unique artworks to admire. With that being said, make sure to bring water and enjoy the hike!

I had the pleasure of dining here. As a food enthusiast, I'm always eager to discover new culinary gems. This establishment certainly exceeded my expectations. The menu boasts an impressive array of dishes crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's dedication to flavor and presentation. The exceptional service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured a seamless dining experience. With its outstanding cuisine and impeccable service, I highly recommend to anyone seeking a truly satisfying dining experience.

Driving down from the finger lakes to Baltimore we wanter a dinner stop in Harrisburg and found "Note" using Google maps. It was set in a quiet residential area northwest of downtown with nice outdoor seating. In the late afternoon there was shade to be had and we enjoyed a delicious cocktail followed by a wonderful dinner at sunset. On street parking was available a short walk away. There were some families with small kids outside with us and all were enjoying themselves trying the different foodie tastes. The mussels and scallops were especially good.

Stopped here while passing through to Williamsport. Great food. Excellent service. No frills. Just a good old fashioned diner. Recommend

I’ve been an Alvero customer since my kids (now in their 20s) were little. We’d stop by on Saturday mornings for delicious Italian cookies by the pound. Now I go for their salads and sandwiches, all of which are so tasty. Of course, I still have to pick up a few cookies while I’m there.

The food is OK the drinks are good and the service is decent and the prices are pretty good as well. I always go with the most simple option on the menu wings fries or even a salad. It’s not always the freshest food and the taste could be better but for the price I guess you it’s ok. It’s very busy so the waiter was not as attentive and it makes sense considering the time of the day as well. For the price,atmosphere ,service and quality of food I would definitely recommend another place.

Great bar and food. Lots of space and interesting people. Wide selection of locally brewed beer. There is a large parking lot.

Great visit, very friendly staff, clean, beautiful grounds and informative exhibits that have a chronological and fulsome history. Especially enjoyed the "War of firsts" tidbits throughout. Could spend between 20 mins and 3++ hours inside depending how much you wish to read. Also had a nice nook with plenty of books to enjoy if you want to spend longer.

We had my son's birthday party there yesterday and I can't thank them enough! We booked a 10 am party and we had the entire party table section to ourselves. The young lady who ran it was so helpful and nice! And the young man who is the mouse was amazing! All the parents and kids had so much fun. I have not one bad thing to say! I know next year, I'm going to try to talk my son to having it here again because everything was taken care of! Will definitely be back!!

Best Pizza in Town! A Must-Try Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at Naples and I can confidently say it’s the best pizza place I’ve visited in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff who are eager to make your experience memorable. The pizza here is simply outstanding. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce is rich and flavorful, with a hint of sweetness that complements the toppings beautifully. Speaking of toppings, the variety is impressive—whether you’re a fan of classic combinations or more adventurous flavors, there’s something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the Pizza which was loaded with fresh, high-quality ingredients that made each bite a delight. What really sets Naples apart, though, is their commitment to quality. You can tell they use only the freshest ingredients, and everything is made with care. The cheese is gooey and melts perfectly, the meats are flavorful, and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. Every pizza is a work of art. Beyond the food, the service is top-notch. The staff are not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu. They’re more than happy to offer recommendations and accommodate special requests, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning—cozy and comfortable, it’s the perfect place for a casual meal with family or friends. Whether you’re dining in or taking out from the person making the pizza asking me if I need plates or from the person making the best sub ever or from the girl behind that counter friendly as soon as you walk in I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about this place is definitely the spot.

Tried this place out for the first time. Was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. Cameron was our server. What a great guy. Kept the drinks full, and was very consistent in his service. Funny and carry’s himself well. 10/10 service from Cameron. We also met Tim who spoke highly of the food and made great recommendations. Both gentlemen were a pleasure and the Melting Pot is lucky to have them. The food was enjoyable. I went in thinking I would not enjoy this style of dining and was very surprised. Garlic Steak is the way to go! Although the food was great, we’re returning because of the service these two gentlemen provided. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Looking to eat a genuine philly? Look no further! This is your spot right here! The bread was soft, meat was tender just enough cheese whiz so it doesn't over power the other flavors! Hot and fresh! The onion rings where crispy and delicious as well. I tried the cherry pepper for the first time and it was good and went well with the philly. The pepper is slightly spicy but sweet at the same time. The spice level would be a 1 maybe a 2 put of 10. I got there about 40 minutes before they closed so it was empty besides one other person but left shortly after. It was quite and peaceful but I can imagine the rush during lunch. It is in an old building so it has that wonderful look and feel. Check this place out!

This place is a fixture for the local community near Paxtang Avenue. Incredibly cozy, feels a lot like home. Its rare to find a bar as intimate and authentic as the Grill these days. Makes you feel like you're in a different time, a better time. Try the Greek Tortellini Salad w/ chicken. Best thing on the menu.
