Shopping
Valley Mall is a large retail center that boasts an array of department stores and a diverse selection of retailers. In addition, it features a theater with stadium seating and an arcade for entertainment. This mall provides visitors with an enjoyable shopping experience as they peruse the various stores to find what they need. JC Penney offers beautiful jewelry at discounted prices, making it an attractive option for shoppers looking to make purchases.
Go here pretty regularly and it's honestly my happy place. The arcade is awesome if you love old school cabinets, the movie theater is fantastic, the food court has many good options, the stores are nice and reasonably priced. They go all out for the holidays and the temporary vendors always have something interesting.

This mall is fantastic!!’ It was a pleasure shopping here. It is a mall full of stores. I drove 90 miles to go to this mall. It was like the old days when there was malls everywhere. I will be back. I hope this mall stays the way it is. I was so happy to see a full mall I could have cried.
Kathy B — Google review
This is actually one of the most active malls I’ve seen in years. While there were teens that probably should have had adult supervision, the area wasn’t too bad. Overall, the mall has a variety of stores and restaurants.
Sarah B — Google review
Listen, department stores are weird liminal places that seem out of time and outdated. But when you need something, they usually have it. Found a dress for a wedding last minute and they were having a sale. Can’t complain!
Austin — Google review
Good mall, decent selection of stores, nice food court, plenty of parking, good overall experience.
Will M — Google review
Pleasantly surprised that this mall was well laid out, clean, bright and inviting. It doesn't have 200+ stores like some places or takes four hours to shop, but it is a nice place to go on the weekend when you don't want to be cooped up in the house. It has the usual mall offerings, a small food court and this new wonderful arcade in the back of the mall next to the theater. We were wowed by the arcade because it was unexpected and had so many games to keep little kids occupied for a couple of hours.
HeadCovered C — Google review
A nice mall have diff stores inside, food to eat, and enjoy walking around and bought some stuff. JC Penney was on sale that time and got beautiful jewelries. Tilt Studio is really fun, really fun and we enjoy our visit .
JJ C — Google review
What a fantastic shopping experience we had where we bought stuff, the kids played and had a blast and all of us got some amazing food that made us all happy. This was a great visit and the mall has a wonderful variety of shopping and dining options. Also they have comfy seats and chairs throughout the mall. We recommend this place.

My wife and I visited the Big Lots there to buy some of our favorite items. We noticed some furniture displays! We are still in the process of furnishing our house bought in June of 21! The prices were good; the payment plans were excellent and flexible.

Did not call ahead. Pouring rain. Had to go in, walking with a cane. $$ for a single person ordering a small. No stuff crust with a small pizza. But, Love fresh ingredients.

I went to Target looking for lactose free ice cream and didn't find it. My online search told me that Target carried it. They did have non dairy almond milk ice cream, and I got that. It tastes great and just like ice cream. I have Ulcerative Colitis which makes eating dairy difficult.

Wow I was so happy to find this spot on my way to NC and me and my son stopped by here and ate and I mean they need to put one back in New York again. The food was so delicious and good. The biscuit, the fried chicken breast, tender, wing were just crispy and we enjoyed our meal. Can't wait to go again. Use to go as a kid but ever since it left NYC I haven't been and this location was a big one. Strawberry shortcake and a strawberry lemonade. 😋

We needed a wreath stand for the grave and I had checked with Hobby Lobby before I left the house. We walked in ask an associate, picked the one we liked, paid for it and left. Very pleased with the service.

American restaurant
Cafe
Restaurant
Rik's Cafe is a laid-back bar and eatery located in a strip mall, offering a diverse New American menu with weekly specials. The restaurant prides itself on serving eclectic and contemporary American cuisine in a relaxed California-inspired setting.
We were recommended by a young man, T, who called ahead for us and made us a reservation. He said the food was great, and boy was he right! My mom and I love seafood, but it’s hard to find good places for real seafood done right, especially this far from the ocean! We ordered the mussels and shrimp and the chicken and crab cake. Mussels were great and not overdone, shrimp was too! The chicken was moist and tender (which is so challenging) and it wasn’t a flattened cutlet, it was an actual chicken breast and the crab imperial and the massive real crab meat crab cake was almost just crab, with barely any filler. My mom opened it up and the crab cake fell apart into massive amounts of real crab! She did want the rice so they put it over their fresh green beans for her and she got a side of fries. The picture doesn’t do the meal justice. The mussels look like there weren’t many, but what you can’t see is that almost the entire underneath is nothing but mussels. It was amazing! The fries were limp, but that’s not why we went so we didn’t care. The wait staff was nice, available, but not overly hovering either and my mom and I were able to have a great conversation while eating a phenomenal meal for a VERY reasonable price for great seafood! Thanks for a great evening!
Anna F — Google review
This bar/restaurant has a nice comfortable vibe, although it is located in a beat-up looking strip mall. We were traveling and decided to give it a try and we're happy we did! We sat on the restaurant side (there is a separate bar too) and had a really nice time. Our server Tegan was so friendly & helpful. She made our whole experience memorable. Overall the food was pretty good. I had the turkey brie croissant with blueberry hot honey aioli. It was just okay and the aioli was a little too spicy for me. The house-made Old Bay potato chips were good tho and my husband enjoyed the Chesapeake cheese steak and house made french fries too. The prices are very reasonable. It's worth a visit if you're in the area!
MaryBeth J — Google review
The food at the restaurant was good, but not exceptional enough to justify the high prices. While the flavors were enjoyable, the overall value felt lacking. On a positive note, the service was friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere despite the steep cost.
JULIA T — Google review
Fantastic food, excellent service, and fair prices.....what else is there to say! I'll be back for more. The wait staff were very attentive, the food was perfectly cooked/flavorful, and the Margarita was not watered down aka they didn't skimp. Loved it!
Aaron V — Google review
We had dinner, last night, at Rik’s Café in Hagerstown, and it was a fantastic experience. Our waitress, Maddie, was personable, attentive, and genuinely fun. She rolled right along with my husband’s sense of humor, keeping the laughs going both ways — it set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. For drinks, my husband ordered a diet soda with no ice, and I went with their Dirty Martini Local. It was beautifully prepared and garnished with three plump blue-cheese stuffed olives in each glass. The balance was spot-on — I enjoyed one before dinner and had to order a second after the meal because it was that good. We started with a caprese salad that was anything but ordinary — the prosciutto and avocado additions made it fresh, flavorful, and just perfect to share. For my entrée, I ordered the crab cakes with jasmine rice and collard greens. The crab cakes were flawless — big clumps of crab, cooked beautifully, and complemented with tartar sauce that tied everything together. My husband ordered the bison burger, stacked with pickled onions and a bacon-flavored aioli. It came with house-made Old Bay spiced chips, which added just the right crunch and seasoning. The burger looked incredible, and from the bite I sampled, it was mighty tasty. He loved it. The atmosphere sealed the deal. Even at 8:30 p.m. on a weeknight (they close at 9:30), the dining room still had about six tables filled, from couples to larger groups. The bar is stunning — spacious, with a comfortable couch seating area and vintage-style cabinets that give it an old-fashioned, authentic feel, even though it’s tucked in a plaza. Food came out lightning fast and cooked to perfection, which honestly surprised us in the best way. We would absolutely return. In fact, we drove down from Syracuse and it was absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommend Rik’s Café to anyone passing through Hagerstown — without question a five-star experience.
Denise S — Google review
The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Appetizers, mixed drinks, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts are all great and the staff are helpful with food suggestions if you can't decide. Too many food options to recommend, but the specials and the reuben have made a great impression on me. I'll try to add more pictures.
Mateo B — Google review
As you pull up, you are unsure what you are getting into. A strip-mall from the 90s replete with a variety of businesses in various states of wear. Rik’s isn’t much to behold from the outside but as soon as you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered the Cubano with Sweet Potato Fries and my wife got the Blueberry Turkey Brie croissant. The Cubano was excellent, considering Rik’s doesn’t specialize in Hispanic food. The ciabatta tasted very fresh. The pulled pork was perfectly seasoned. The pickles tasted homemade. The mustard was a perfect spice level to compliment the Swiss cheese. The sweet potato fries themselves were awesome. They came with what was effectively an applesauce dip. The dip was delicious, but had a tad too much cinnamon for my taste. The old bay chips were well seasoned and the Blueberry Brie Turkey sandwich was well balanced. The atmosphere was solid with music at a low volume and enough space to have a conversation. Overall, this was definitely worth the stop in and we will be back!

Factory Outlets
Hagerstown Premium Outlets is a charming open-air shopping destination situated just off Interstate 70, only three miles east of Hagerstown. The village-style outlet mall offers a wide array of name-brand stores where shoppers can find apparel and merchandise at discounts of up to 65%. Popular brands like Banana Republic, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Kate Spade New York, Guess, and Under Armour are among the many options available.
The hige rating is all due to a kind-hearted man, an uncle who sells bedding between LOFT and COACH stores. We drove away after shopping here. Unexpectedly, the trunk of the car opened when we drove out, and the clothes and luggage in the trunk were thrown out. It was too late when we found it. Fortunately, we met this kind uncle. He packed up our lost items and sent them to North Face according to the shopping invoice, waiting for us to come back to pick them up. We were surprised and touched to get them back. Thank you to this kind man. It’s a pity that I didn’t ask his name at that time. Thank you!!
Susan L — Google review
Few stores and almost few visitors are there. Literally very few stalls in the food court. Not worthy to visit!
Talal Q — Google review
We stopped by back in March on a Friday afternoon and it was completely empty. A lot of stores are closed or empty. Kinda sad to see such a large property look like a ghost town. The food court is also kinda sad. Not a lot of options. The bathrooms are huge but dated and completely empty.
Bbt J — Google review
For premium outlet, I would have to say at least 50% of the stores are closed while the main staples exist, such as Under Armour, Eddie Bauer, Columbia, Nautica, Gap, and Brook Brothers, there are barely any other stores to visit. The food court is even more disappointing with only three options. If I ever come back, it will only be to visit those big namebrand stores for a quick trip and that’s it.
Adam C — Google review
Man I remember when this place was super busy and a well taken care of place. Now it’s sad and getting to be run down. Still has a few decent stores, but it really could use some rejuvenation. Times have changed since I was a kid, and locations that learn to change with them succeed while others that stick to the same old thing don’t.
Caleb G — Google review
Once a shopping destination—now just a sprinkle of stores I revisited Hagerstown Premium Outlets hoping for variety and value, but it’s clear the center has lost its spark. Most of the major brands are gone, and what’s left feels like a scattered mix of smaller stores with little cohesion. The energy is low, and the layout feels dated—like it’s been frozen in time for the past few years. If you’re looking for a full outlet experience, this isn’t it. It’s more of a quick stop than a shopping day. Disappointing to see so much potential go untapped.
Denise W — Google review
Don't make a special trip, most of the stores are empty. Possibly worth your time if you are in the area. An update based on the response from the outlet. I was not saying the stores didn't have merchandise, I was saying most the available spaces do not have tenants and therefore there aren't a lot of stores to shop in.
William C — Google review
Its a nice shopping center, there's different kind of branded store and even thrift store and many more. Plenty of parking space. I just noticed that some stores are closed, maybe because of the pandemic. So sad but I'm sure some stores struggle to keep up the sales.

Nature & Parks
Hagerstown City Park is a longstanding recreational area that boasts various features such as an art museum, shaded picnic zones, and a kids' splash pad. The park also houses a beautiful fountain and a vast pond where visitors can observe geese and fish swimming. Additionally, the park provides benches and tables for people to sit on or enjoy meals with their families. Children will find the playground entertaining as they run around playing.
Visited Hagerstown City Park on Easter evening, and it was the perfect place to pause and take in the beauty. The sunset painted the sky with soft pastel colors over the lake, creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. The view of the Museum of Fine Arts and the surrounding nature brought a sense of calm and connection to history. It felt like the world slowed down for a moment, and I was reminded how important it is to take time for quiet reflection. If you’re looking for a spot to clear your mind and appreciate simple beauty, this park is something special.

Got carried off by 10,000 geese from the local shark pond that I was trying to water-ski across. They dropped me at the art museum which was quite nice of them. Art museum was pleasant too. Afterwards the geese carried me off to an ice cream stand but it was in the middle of Canada, where they made me king of the geese. Perfect 5/7 would recommend again.

We were in the city for a short overnight visit, but were intrigued enough to stop for a stroll through this park. It is an expansive, lovely, well-maintened park, with lots of different areas including playgrounds, a pond, and an outdoor performance venue. It seems like a really great public space with lots to offer!
Jennifer N — Google review
This park is huge and has play equipment for seemingly all ages. It shows its beauty through every season. When it starts warming up it is always fun to take the kids to feed and visit the ducklings and gosling. I highly suggest a stroll through their paths and parks and around the pond to visit the Art museum there as well. Or maybe stop in when the music filled events can bring your souls joy.

Such a beautiful park. Peaceful in the rain. I love watching the ducks, geese, and swans in the lake.
Bria M — Google review
Enjoyed (along with the hundreds of geese!) the beauty of this lovely, well maintained park for the 1st time while visiting Hagerstown. Had no problem getting safe, free parking on a Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised that there was more to explore than I expected. The educational info about the historic buildings and surroundings was well done and interesting. Next time I will visit the museums.
KR — Google review
We literally stumbled into the park without intention and were wonderfully surprised! There is a great kids sub-park, a huge duck and goose pond, an art museum, a concert gallery, other water features, and an art center, all next door to a train museum. Very handicapped accessible and completely wonderful, and a complete surprise.
Jongira — Google review
Lovely park, you get to interact with the birds and ducks... Might get lucky to feed the fish!! Plenty of space and places to play for the kids. There's an art museum on site, as well as places to grill and gazebos to hold parties

Pizza Hut is a widely recognized chain that offers delivery, take-out, and dining options. It is known for its pizzas, wings, and pasta dishes, along with complementary sides and desserts. The quality of the food here is consistently excellent; the pizzas are perfectly cooked, the breadsticks are superb, and even their melts receive top ratings. Additionally, their salads are always satisfying with fresh ingredients such as crisp lettuce, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Everything was perfect as always but atmosphere will get 2 stars until dine in is opened. I want to take my kids where I was taken for the best pan pizza in America. Thank you for being consistent with delicious food for all these years!

Ordered pizza on the app on Sunday 1/12. After getting home we realized the pizza was burnt, not cut and the wings had literally no sauce on them. Called the restaurant and spoke to the store manager named Casey. Let me tell you about this lady. She was the rudest “manager” I have ever spoken to. Her tone was so unprofessional. I could hear her eye rolls through the phone. No apology and she insisted on arguing with me, cutting me off and denying me resources to call and make a complaint above her. I’m not sure how this “manager” is even employed?!? For the sake of your customers, get rid of this lady. She’s bad for business. I can only imagine how many other customers she has been rude to! I will also be calling corporate and making a formal complaint about this store manager also!

Delivery order, placed on line but only recieved 2 of my ordered items. Called restaraunt, requested refund, person couldn't handle request. Eventually spoke Ken, manager, he made the refund and at my request remade the missing items for me to pick up the next day. Ken was the only element of this experience that deserves 5 stars.

Honestly I would have had a better experience if I had just gone to dollar tree and bought their frozen pizzas. I spent $45 on 3 pizzas and they were horrible. Dry asf, sauce was NASTY. Maybe the recipe has changed or maybe they ran out of product and were using something from the grocery store but it was horrible. Total waste of money my toddlers didn’t even eat it and they LOVE pizza. It’s not like little ceasars where I’d spend $9-$12 per pizza. My total was $45 WITH a coupon. Like do better Pizza Hut 💔

Fast food restaurant
Located in a regional chain named after a renowned American cowboy actor, Roy Rogers offers a variety of fast-food options including burgers. The restaurant provides an exceptional experience with its clean and orderly environment. The staff at this establishment are notably friendly, going out of their way to welcome and bid farewell to customers. Despite having moved locations, loyal patrons have continued to visit for years due to the consistently pleasant service provided by the staff.
Roy Rogers has always been my favorite, but today’s visit was one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and hot, and Sovan went above and beyond. Taking our order, restocking the fixins bar with Pete’s hot sauce, and making the best strawberry shortcake for my daughter and me. A short stop turned into a delightful experience. We visited a second time and Sanyiah made it an even better experience. She made us the best strawberry shortcake that we’ve had at any Roy’s before! She also had a smile that lit up the room, she was very polite and helpful during our entire experience!
Angela B — Google review
A little different than most fast food joints. They have a fixins bar to top your burgers, so I suggest eating in and skipping the drive-through. The dining room was pretty clean, but pretty much like most burger joints. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, and you can find the usual burgers and tenders, and couple not so usual items and sides. I'll eat here again as a nice change from the usual.

Ordered a 3 pc chicken and they gave me 3 drums. Used the live this place but lately every order is messed up like tonight. Thanks for ruining my husbands dinner.
Stephanie S — Google review
I haven't been in a Roy's in awhile. I loved the food and the breakfast potatoes are the best. Round and some kind of oven baked. Nice atmosphere too. Just enough people sitting around eating. Not noisy but a little action to be comfy in there. Plenty of people working there and they were all busy which means people like it there. Nice folks too.
Christopher D — Google review
So I have been to this place 3 times now. As long as someone that actually cares about their job is working I guess you might get everything in your order. Twice I had someone who actually scratched off items as they were placed in the bag. The last time it was just throw in a bag and there was multiple things missed. The food is good and the service is quick.
Andrew B — Google review
This was a five-star experience I would recommend anybody that likes going out to eat in general come to this restaurant the food taste more like a restaurant than it does fast food the burgers are a good size and it is the biggest fast food Burger I've ever seen and their generous with the amount of fries the atmosphere and service was the best from a fast food place too on top of all that they let you choose how much toppings you put on your burger and the toppings are fresh this place is amazing I would definitely recommend coming here.
Patricia S — Google review
Stopped for lunch. Have never been to a Roy Rogers before so didn't know what to expect. Place was clean and staff were friendly. The holster fries are pretty humorous. Burger and chicken both tasted amazing. The only downside (that they can't control) is that there was no Dr.Pepper. They have Pibb and I believe that's because of the market location they're in. Which is fine. But to some this can be a deal breaker. Would definitely return to a Roy Rogers and hope they don't change a thing!
Nick F — Google review
I stopped here on 8/31/25 on my way home from vacation. I never had a bad meal until today. I ordered a couple of orders of onion rings fine not problem. I saw them take them from a plastic container figuring that they just made them and was using them for sandwiches. Once I left with my food and got on my way I started eating my food and the onion rings I was disappointed with said onion rings because they tasted like they were from the day before and not fresh. So if you ever order onion rings make sure that they are fresh and not coming out of a plastic container. If I am back in that area I will try them one more time.

We stopped here for lunch. We got the onion rings for an appetizer. Son ordered 10" pepperoni pizza, my wife ordered chicken caesar wrap and I ordered the lava quest burger. Everyone enjoyed the food and was super filling. The waiter was very attentive and kept checking in on us. We will certainly be back in the future.

I ordered using uber eats, yesterday, 8/11. I ordered 2 orders of fish with an extra piece for each. Check your freezer because the fish was not fresh at all. It wasn’t even fried well. The lobe burger was cooked waaaay too much and was darn near crunchy! My shakes were basically water. I usually enjoy the food, but yesterday was a disgusting meal I paid over $100 for.

Angel is an amazing waitress she was very customer friendly and checked in on us. I haven't had this friendly of service in a long time!! She definitely deserves a cudos from her Manager.. Thank you Angel you are definitely one of a kind!!!

This day they were off. Cheese sauce needed to be asked for twice and didn't get it till almost done. Burger had mayonnaise but not on menu. Other food was not that good. Other nights were better.

Waitress was very kind. Food came out super quick and was delicious. Refills were also quick. Easily a 10/10.

We have been to this Red Robin location many times and have never had a bad experience. It is consistently good and to me that is a big deal when it comes to restaurants. Today this visit for a late lunch was no exception. The food and the service were excellent. Our server was Keisha and she did a wonderful job. This is definitely one of our go to Red Robin locations.

I absolutely loved this zoo. Hats off the the ladies and gentlemen who take great pride in rescue these animals and who give them a voice. Will definitely go back

I was very disappointed with my experience here. The steak I was served was clearly reheated in a microwave, even though I ordered medium rare – it came out dry and overcooked. On top of that, I found a hair in my mushrooms, which is completely unacceptable, especially considering the high prices. I honestly don’t understand why it’s so expensive for this level of quality. I’m attaching photos to show what their idea of “medium rare” looks like.

Great service and great food. We had the chicken tenders 9 piece with house salad and baked potato. Iced tea and a coke. As always food was hot and delicious. True value for the price and quality of food.

Really solid location to go to, especially at open. We were in and out in a timely manner. Appetizers came out super quick. We were greeted and seated and eated! Can't go wrong with their appetizers, everyone sleeps on them. Great spot right next to major outlet mall

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a baked potato and medium steak and got a salt lick fit for a horse and live cow. Eating out anywhere in Hagerstown has become a pointless venture. Nobody who works at these places cares anymore. Embarrassing.

I ordered a salmon and shrimp dinner to go. It was ready in about 20 minutes and the complimentary bread was warm, soft. And delicious. The food was still warm when I got home and tasted great. The price for my meal was reasonable. I will be ordering again in near future.

Diner
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a popular American eatery that offers classic comfort food and also features an attached general store. This chain restaurant provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, earning high marks for its ambiance. The menu boasts a variety of delicious options, including their renowned beef stew as well as Thanksgiving turkey. Patrons can also enjoy tasty winter drinks at Cracker Barrel.
Cracker Barrel is always a great place to eat regardless of where I'm at. The meatloaf was everything. My only suggestion would be to change the butter for the cornbread. That butter has too much sodium. I didn't even realize it said salted butter right on the package until after I bit into my cornbread. I took one bite and thought this sure does taste like salty cornbread. Then I looked at the butter package. It just ruined my taste for the bread. Since I have hypertension, if I bite into something and the first thing I taste is the sodium, then it's too much and should not be served in a restaurant if you care about the health of your customers.

Service was great, the caramel latte was mediocre but the pecan pancakes were delicious and I loved the little bottle of warmed real maple syrup that came with them.

Food was decent. Our waitress was so interesting though. Older lady with glass - very straight forward and to the point but also so nice. She was singing each time she dropped off a food item… she’d go “and here are your biscuits!” But she’d be singing it! We thought it was cute. Young man checking us out at the front seemed a little nervous but was very nice, too!

We decided to stop here on our way home from West Virginia. We were all very hungry and we love the offers of Cracker Barrel. We arrived expecting a wait time, we were pleasantly surprised there wasn't any. We were seated almost immediately upon entering a rarity for most locations. The lady who seated us was very nice and had just returned from maternity leave (congratulations 🎉) once we were seated we were enthusiastically greeted by our very nice server Taylor. She was extremely patient as people in our group decided on drinks, food and choosing their options of sides. Two of our group had never been to Cracker Barrel so we tried to give them good recommendations. They decided on steak against our advice, while everyone else got what this place is known for, BREAKFAST! Some enjoyed pancakes, French Toast, eggs, bacon, hash casserole, spiced apples. I got bacon and the two aforementioned sides with lunch chicken tenders with a sweet spicy kick sauce and fries (wanted to try something different from my usual) they also quickly corrected me missing one of the sides I ordered bringing it out seconds later, that was impressive! They also offered a few $6 to-go options so I recommend to French Toast Bake to my buddy who got steak as he wanted breakfast food too (overwhelmed by all the options at first because everything looks great to a first-timer) everything went smooth and Taylor was attentive and brought out dishes with the speed and accuracy of a Magician truly, food just appeared! Thank you very much for adding that much more to our special visit. No visit is complete without visiting the great store inside filled with some of the best snacks and items. You can also have a seat in a rocking chair and play checkers which we did for a bit before hitting the road again ending our trip for the weekend heading back to our side of Maryland. Food 5 outta 5 - hot and fresh arrived quickly Service 6 outta 5 - seated quickly and served wonderfully Atmosphere - 5 outta 5 - lively but not too crowded and very helpful staff everything on points Cleanliness - 5 outta 5 - plates and utensils clean as well as bathroom stalls and such. Overall rating for this visit 5 outta 5 SupaFlyITGuy approved but I have come to expect nothing less from Cracker Barrel and they meet or exceed my expectations every time. The pricing also always puts a smile on my face value for money wise I feel spoiled here as I get a lot of food and a drink for a fraction of what I'm used to spending elsewhere often for food that is mid at best.

Fortunately for my girls and I; we picked this spot to swap off with my ex. If she's not on time, at least we have a great place to eat and clean bathrooms to use. I've been going there since my divorce was finalized in 2015 and at least I know there will be some.comfort food waiting at the drop-off. Plus the checker boards out front give the kids some entertainment while they wait.

We love going to the Hagerstown, MD location for dinner. They remember us there and we always get treated kindly by the staff. The pot roast is absolutely delicious! If you want the shepherds pie casserole, but don't like peas, order the pot roast and get the same sides. I never have a bad experience here.

Brought my 82 year old mother cause she loves this place. Asked them to seat me by the door soshe didn’t have to walk far. They gave us a great seat. It was around 8pm and was waited by another waitress after she noticed we were sitting for 20 minutes. She quickly apologized. It was pretty clear later that our waitress was abused by a previous table that had her in tears over something so silly and out of her control. She was the nicest waitress and was able to come back to us professionally and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great and service was great.
Susan W — Google review
The server was impatient. The scrambled eggs were flat and flipped like a pancake. The bacon tasted like it had been fried in old bacon grease. There were 3 others in my party and the food was good. We just had to request things twice before receiving them.

I have been going to this skating rink for many years and my family has always had a great time. I have to give some credit where it’s due, and after reading and coming across a seriously ridiculous review, I am going to respond. This rink seems like it has newer staff, and I was just there this past weekend and it is extremely clean and has a really nice staff. The skating floor was very well maintained and rental skates were nice, and wheels were nice. We had some pretty decent food from the snack bar and played some games in the arcade. I remember the owner from past years and seems like a nice family. If ya don’t have something nice to say about people then say nothing man! This is a cool place to go and have fun. It’s clean, friendly and my kids have had nice birthday parties here. My family and kids will always go here and continue to have good times! I highly recommend Turners Skate Palace for fun times!!!!!!

Absolutely delicious strawberry banana smoothie… Valentine’s Day nonalcoholic dessert drink!! Step Two: Add two tablespoons of the whipped vanilla crème yogurt to bottom of the wine glass. Step Three: Fill middle of wine glass with the strawberry banana smoothie leaving about half inch from top to finish off yogurt. Step Four: Top off with the remaining of the wine glass with the second whipped vanilla crème yogurt creating any design you wish in the middle ensuring to leave the strawberry smoothie showing. This was my first time here. They have a large selection of flavors. There is both regular ice cream and soft serve. Prices are good, and the soft serve was tasty. I was disappointed that the inside seating was closed since it was a rainy day. We ate in our car and it was still yummy.

You lost customers. We ordered peanut butter arctic blend and the lady only put just a few reeses on it. We asked that she add a bit more but she refused unless we pay. We paid 2 scoops, and she said she added 1 scoop originally but only added like about half. We are so so disappointed and we are not coming back and will not recommend this place. Ok we were pleasantly greeted, but our first table was dirty, and the menus were sticky. So we moved our seats, no biggie. Next, I ordered a well done waffle(crispy), grits were lumpy and even crunchy, I know! I didn't complain, just plucked through. My bacon was forgotten, and some parts were not done. I sent my waffle back 2x and it still thicky and not crispy. So I watched the batter was so thick.... it's no wonder why the waffle texture was off... I am a waffle house lover, and I have never experienced anything like this, ever. Do better!!! Yes I still tipped 20% as it wasn't the waitress fault... I will never return to this location, and I should have joined my family at the cracker barrel next door.

Papa Johns Pizza is a popular pizza take-out and delivery chain that offers a wide variety of classic and specialty pizzas, as well as wings, sides, and desserts. The workers at this establishment are highly efficient and the food is prepared quickly. While waiting for an order, it was observed that the entire staff continuously stayed in motion. Each delivery driver was encouraged by multiple coworkers to drive safely when they left, and warmly welcomed back upon their return.
Very efficient workers. My food was ready quite quickly. While waiting for my order I noticed a few things. The full staff didn't stop moving. Every delivery driver that left was wished to drive safely by several coworkers. When the drivers came back the were greeted and welcomed back. I overheard a phone order come it that sounded more than difficult. The girl that took the call walked the customer through almost the entire menu very professionally. The all worked as a team. I'd definitely go back again if I needed a pizza while in Hagerstown.

Best chain pizza franchise and great local spot! If you shop the deals, you can't miss ordering from here. They were pretty busy on a Sunday night but did a great job getting everyone through and providing a quality product. The overall area lacks good pizza, so its a safe bet ordering from here
Tyler T — Google review
SUPPORT YOUR SMALL BUSINESSES! ❤️ For one, this will never be a 5star restaurant so I would of been happy to give 4 stars to the cuties working (BTW, the well done products were cooked just right) but unfortunately ... the only reason I order Papa Johns is for the pepperchinis and garlic sauce which for the very first time in my life were non existent. I was late, so the cold pizza was on me. But, they had an extra 30min to remember. Unless they don't do that anymore? I mean, why else would anybody go to PapaJohns over American Pizza Pie or w.e. other real Pizza Spot is around.? I usually ask for extra pepperchinis but I didn't see an option on the "official" website. Maybe i missed something. The website doesn't show price points for some of their things while ordering which is annoying. This place seemingly needs help beyond house employment. It's clear. I don't think I'd be back now, tbh. Call me petty ... I'm sure they'll care as much as I do. It just bothers me to get home after a long day and not just been able to get what I paid for and wanted especially from BIG BUSINESSES LIKE THIS! Do better than I did. SHOP/SUPPORT LOCAL!

If I could’ve left a review with zero stars, I would’ve. It was something Lil that was almost resolved, but they decided not to. I paid for eight wings and I got six and I opened the box and I called immediately before touching anything. The man on the phone said would you like us to drive the rest to you and I said do you have somebody and he said hold on and then a girl got on the phone and said we’re unable to help you. You need to call DoorDash. I understand, but her attitude when he already promised me something and was looking for a driver. Her attitude was uncalled for. She’s very rude and just because that I will not order Papa John’s again

Dunkin'

Coffee shop
Dunkin' is a beloved chain that has been serving up its signature breakfast items and an impressive array of coffee drinks for years. While the service can vary from great to just okay, most orders are fulfilled without a hitch—though it's wise to steer clear of the bagels, which tend to come out burnt. The loaded hashbrowns might leave you wanting more, as they often feature minimal toppings like just a sprinkle of bacon and some melted cheese crumbs.
Service is good, sometimes just okay, but no issues with orders 98% of the time- aside from the bagels, we’ve learned not to order them as they’re always burnt. Anyways.. why do my loaded hashbrowns look like this? 😂 I got one tiny piece of bacon & melted crumbs of cheese

The quality of food is absolutely terrible. I drove into the drive thru and looked at the donut area and its webs everywhere. Also to add that the donut holes I had gotten were hard and dry and looked like they were left out over night. And my coffee had tasted like nothing but milk. A whole $10 down the drain. Oh I didn’t take a bite of the donut in the left corner it came like that 🤢.

Absolutely joke of a place. Not a single car in the Drive-Thru. Not a single person in the building. I come in to pick an order up that was supposed to be picked up at 4:15. I walk in at 4:17 stand at the counter a with a gentleman on his phone. Standing at the register. Not greeting the customer then the lady working in the lobby very rudely asked. Can I help you. So then I told them what I was there for and they acted annoyed and asked what was on the ticket and then proceeded to start making order and then when I asked you guys haven't even started this order. She got an attitude again and said no no I have it. Worst customer service.

My significant other and I always stop at this Dunkin every morning. We have no problems with the employees in the morning, but we decided to get a couple drinks and something to eat in the evening, around 7:30pm. When we pulled up, the lady on the speaker sounded like she was very unhappy or was mad that we were ordering. Not to mention, there was absolutely no one in the store or at the drive thru at this time. When we pulled up to the window, we gave her our money and when she gave us the change back, she aggressively threw the change in his hand. She handed us our drinks and after every time she aggressively said “HERE”. When she gave us the second drink, my significant other asked her if we could have her name and the number to corporate and she all of the sudden got very hostile with us, we didn’t even get to explain why we wanted it and she threw a temper tantrum. Not to mention, the two employees were not wearing their name tags as they should. She then proceeded to go back in and tell her other employee what was going on and the other lady came to the window and we tried to explain to her what was happening. She told us there was no manager we could speak to and then told us that they are not allowed to give customers the corporate number or give us their name. My significant other then went into the store after and tried to explain to them why we needed it, and the lady we had problems with was throwing things and trash all in the back. We were told to come back in the morning to talk to the manager. We will be contacting Corporate as we found the number online and will be explaining our very frustrating situation. That employee deserves to be fired and we felt very disrespected. The manager really needs to do better about hiring very unhappy people.

I'm a loyal Dunkin enthusiast and I love my coffee. This Dunkin is by far the worst I've been to. I've gone several times and they're still the worst. Their drinks are very, I mean very, weak tasting. I've even added, and paid for, extra shots of espresso just for the drinks to still be weak. They're seriously horrible. It's great service though, good Dunkin store, and a decent location. Just truly wish their coffee/espresso actually tasted like coffee and espresso instead of milk and water.

Okay I come to this Dunkin everyday I have for years now, this past year the coworkers here act like they hate their job so much, they have an attitude when I come through and order , a lot of the times I can’t even order food because they claim their ovens are down. Today July 14th at about 1:25 pm i come through and I order my drinks for me and my grandkids and some food. We are waiting for a good while I understand that they are busy it’s not a big deal for that. But while I’m waiting in the drive thru the lady who’s cashing everyone out at the window her back is turned towards me she puts her hand down her pants and digs in there, and then turns and hands me the drinks and food with the same hand. Why??? That’s so disgusting… she was a nice lady but that was very gross.

The staff was great if you do not include who I assume was the owner. I got the vibe that she was annoyed at me just being at the counter, very impolite attitude.

Probably the worst Dunkin I’ve ever been to. No one else in the store yet my simple drink took 15 minutes. Woman with mask working was rude and seemed miserable.

Vietnamese restaurant
Pho Viet Restaurant is a highly regarded eatery that specializes in authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It stands out among the numerous similar establishments in the area, offering a refreshing change of pace. The service provided by the attentive staff is exceptional, with a focus on explaining the various sauces accompanying each dish. While not an expert in Vietnamese food, it is apparent that the dishes are both healthy and beautifully presented.
The best soup i have ever tasted in my life. I ate everything. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The service was top notch. I felt like the president of the United States the way they waited on me. Preparation of my food didn’t take hours. I don’t think it took five minutes.

Have only ever had take out from here but decided to dine in. There was an hour before closing and they were totally full with other parties waiting to be seated. They quickly got tables turned and had us sat. Staff was friendly and prompt. Food was fresh and delicious and portions are great for the price. I've had a number of things from here and have never had an issue. Everything is clean and runs like a well oiled machine. Support this local business.

Tasty Pork and Comforting Pho! My husband and I had dinner at Pho Viet last Friday. We ordered the rare beef and beef meatball pho, grilled pork, crispy egg roll, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The grilled pork was absolutely tasty. The pho broth was light and comforting, though the noodles themselves could’ve used a bit more flavor. Still, the overall dish was warm and satisfying. The crispy egg rolls were a hit—crunchy outside and flavorful inside. And the iced coffee was strong, sweet, and gave us that perfect caffeine kick to end the meal. The place was cozy and clean, and service was friendly and quick. If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food, this spot is definitely worth trying!

So delicious. We used to have a restaurant we would go to all the time that had the best pho. They closed during covid. So we've been looking for restaurants all over the three county area that tastes even remotely to our old restaurant. This place is it. It's so good. Their chili oil is delicious. We drive all the way from Frederick to hagerstown just to get this soup. It's that delicious. It is literally the only place we go now for pho. My only complaint is that sometimes a certain serve will put on the check 18% gratuity without telling you. It says on the check only for 6 parties or more but its still there. So make sure you look at your receipts.

This Sunday, on a whim, popped in this place for lunch. Wife and I were shopping in the same strip mall and heard good reviews. Opened the door and it was busy! Was able to he seated right away. Very clean, smelled of wonderful comfort food. I ordered the Pho Viet and wife ordered Pho w/ beef. It was absolutely delicious, light, and fresh with a side of fresh Thai basil, spicy pepper slices and juicy little sprouts- I poured it all in! I even added a little chili oil 🔥 that made it just right for me. The service was fantastic and we enjoyed taking our time warming our bellies on this super cold Sunday. You must go for a terrific change of pace. This will be a must go often for us.

This is a great family owned restaurant for the area. And a nice change of pace in relation to all of the redundant eating establishments nearby. The service is some of the best we’ve had stateside. The staff are attentive and take the time to explain the varied sauces they bring out to accompany each dish. And while I’m not an expert in Vietnamese cuisine, the food here is very healthy and beautifully presented.

Cute little restaurant with Friendly staff. After driving through several states it was time to get gas again, but I was tired of gas station food. We looked around Google maps and found this place and decided to have dinner there. The seating is comfortable and relaxed, with proper distancing in mind. They have lots of traditional food and drinks that are standard but well executed. We ordered the everything pho and the vegetable vermicelli bowl with an Iced coffee with condensed milk. The food was ready quickly and tasted very good. The price was reasonable and I had no problem tipping as I felt the staff went above and beyond to be excellent. It was a perfect experience to watch the sun set over a delicious dinner before hitting the road again. Highly recommend, will come back if we are in the area.

Always good and filling. Unique dining for Hagerstown. About 5 minutes off of interstate 81 near Ashley furniture, Lowes, Martins foods, and a variety of shopping and eating options. If traveling you need to plan on sitting down and eating versus grabbing it to go.
