Baseball field
Event venue
American Family Field, formerly known as Miller Park, is a modern baseball stadium with a retractable roof and serves as the home field for the Milwaukee Brewers. The stadium offers a variety of delicious food options beyond traditional ballpark snacks, including bacon mac and cheese, roast beef sandwiches, churro doughnuts, tacos, barbecue, arepas and sushi.
One of our favorite ballparks. Tailgating before a game is a must and the locals take their tailgating seriously. Tailgating usually opens 2-3 hours prior to game time. There are bars/restaurants close to the ballpark that offer free shuttles. Traffic in and out of the stadium moves quickly and there’s easy access to major highways. The team store is large and has everything Milwaukee Brewers related. Food and beverages were tasty and more affordable than many other ballparks we have visited. If you sit in the Miller Lite Terrace the high top bar tables have phone chargers and beverage chillers on/in the table. We entered the game early and our kids were able to watch the visiting teams batting practice. They were also given a couple baseballs which the players gladly autographed. Don’t miss the sausage races and if the Brewers hit a home run be sure to watch the outfield for Bernie Brewer on the slide in the outfield. Great family outing.

Going to a Brewers game at American Family Field is always a fun experience. The energy in the stadium is great!! fans are passionate but also welcoming, so it feels like a true community atmosphere. One of the best parts is the famous Sausage Race, which is such a quirky and unique tradition that makes the game feel extra memorable (and always gets the crowd hyped). The retractable roof is also a big plus, you don’t have to worry about games getting rained out, and it makes the stadium comfortable no matter the weather. Food-wise, you’ll find plenty of classic ballpark eats along with some Wisconsin favorites like cheese curds, brats, and local beers. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s pretty standard at MLB parks. The staff throughout the stadium is friendly and helpful, and the whole place is kept clean and easy to navigate. Parking can get a little crowded, but the tailgating scene is part of the fun!! lots of fans grilling out before the game adds to the whole experience. Overall, the Brewers stadium offers more than just baseball. it’s a mix of tradition, good food, and a welcoming fan base that makes every game feel like a celebration.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best ballparks in baseball and a must-visit, even if your team isn't playing. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is electric and uniquely tied to the city. The architects did an incredible job blending modern amenities with a classic, old-school ballpark feel. The sightlines are superior from every section. The concessions here are what set this park apart. They offer typical stadium food, but they've partnered with local restaurants and breweries, offering a fantastic variety. When you couple the food with the wide selection of craft beers, you have a superior concession stand. There are plenty of social spaces, fan zone and childrens experiences to gather at, like the "Kids Zone" on the terrace level and the "Power Playground" on the field concourse. The integration of team history is also superb, with beautiful plaques and statues of team legends inside and outside of the stadium. Don't forget to check out the "Selig Experience" exhibit. It's a must for any Brewers fan. Overall, it's a wonderful experience and a shining example of how a modern ballpark should be built.
Ryan P — Google review
That visit and The Game with Diamondbacks I will remember for so long. That was a thriller. Both team could get a win ticket before last inning 8:8 - but the huge visitors support and perfect organization and atmosphere- were helped for Brewers. I have never seen not only support, but an entertainment on the stadium. Screen plays, the fun run, music accompaniment- it’s a Top level not only for Baseball. Thank you for excitement. See you in Philly 🫶
Iurii N — Google review
One of the best ballparks in baseball! The retractable roof ensures that rain or shine the game will go on! For beautiful summer days with the roof open, there's nothing like it. Great food and drink vendors all around the stadium and love the Bernie slide for when the Brewers get a home run! There are usually lots of brand activations inside and outside of the stadium too that give away free swag which is a nice touch.
Bailey J — Google review
We had a great time at American Family Field! We parked in the preferred parking lot to be closer to the stadium. By the way, pre-purchase the parking before the day of the game to get a discount. Our seats were on the top level and we found elevators and escalators to assist us. The fans are incredibly friendly. You must see the sausage run! We’ll be going back for every home game next year!!
Marcos A — Google review
Best time ever! Even though we are Cubs fans, the Brewers fans were nice to us and the whole vibe & stadium was beautiful. Plenty of accessable bathrooms too. Don't plan on rushing out though leaving that parking lot was a cluster of craziness! No one is guiding traffic out so just don't hurry out. We also appreciated the free parking since coming from Chicago we are used to paying an arm and a leg! That was a nice surprise! Can't wait to come back again.
SalsaChik L — Google review
Great ballpark, even the seats up high have a good vantage point and you can see the whole diamond quite clearly. Things in the gift shop and/or any food is ridiculously expensive, but that's any sports franchise stadium for any sport. Nothing out of the ordinary or extravagantly expensive or anything like that. Parking is ok, this was the first time we spent extra for "preferred" parking and I would definitely recommend that to anyone planning on attending a Brewers game. It has (as I'm sure most if not all do also) some very long escalators so you do not need to walk up several flights of stairs to get to your seat if you are way up. Overall I like this stadium a lot and I recommend catching a game if you get the chance to.

The Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a must-visit attraction. It features three distinct domes, each functioning as a greenhouse with tailored temperature and humidity levels to simulate specific climates. Visitors can explore the desert, jungle, and seasonal flora environments at their own pace. The conservatory houses thousands of plant species protected from insects and parasites without the use of pesticides.
As a Wedding Photographer, I think that the Mitchell Park Domes are a Milwaukee treasure! The Domes are a fantastic place for indoor photos - an invaluable asset on wedding days in Wisconsin, allowing couples an option for "outdoor" photos even during the worst of Wisconsin's mercurial weather. There is really nothing else like them - they give greenhouse & garden feels with a strong side vibe of Mars’ space colony. The combo works incredibly well and provides both a diversity of nature environs for photos as well as a strong architectural canvas to work with. Each dome is its own environment, and I mostly use the Tropical and Desert domes for portraits. The Domes are a perfect option for couples who want to bring a little magic to their wedding day portraits or really any other photo need you might have!

Beautiful Experience – A Must-Visit, But Could Use Expansion Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory is a hidden gem in Milwaukee and an amazing place to spend a few hours surrounded by nature. The three domes—Desert, Tropical, and Show—are well-designed, peaceful, and filled with stunning plants from around the world. It's a perfect spot for families, nature lovers, photographers, or just anyone looking for a relaxing escape from city life. One of the biggest perks is the free and easy parking, which made the visit super convenient. The ticket prices are very affordable, making it accessible for just about everyone, especially considering the quality of the exhibits inside. Each dome offers a unique vibe—the Tropical Dome feels like stepping into a rainforest, and the Desert Dome is fascinating with its collection of cacti and succulents. The Show Dome rotates themes seasonally, and it was beautifully decorated during my visit. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the overall size of the park. While the domes are beautiful and well-maintained, the entire experience is a bit on the shorter side. You can comfortably see everything in about an hour, and I found myself wishing there was more to explore. It would be wonderful to see the park expanded with additional exhibits or outdoor gardens in the future. Overall, Mitchell Park Domes offers great value, stunning plant displays, and a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, and I’d love to see it grow even more over time!

Very BEAUTIFUL & well maintained. We spent approximately an hour to 1.5 hrs. Self-paced. There are 3 domes which represent 3 different regions of the world with native plants. There are a few benches to sit on, however I feel they could add a few so more people can sit and relax or take a little break. There’s a gift shop in the entry way building. Plus public restrooms.
Lisa Y — Google review
The day I went, only two of the three domes were open. One was in transition - the seasonal one probably getting ready for Christmas. Despite that disappointment, I found it really peaceful and enjoyable to walk through the domes. The colors in the tropical dome were amazing. To me, definitely worth the admission.
Andrea P — Google review
Amazing. There are themes for each dome. Fantasy, Desert and Tropical. Each one is excellent and had different flowers and vegetation. My favorite is the fantasy. The flowers and vegetation were awesome. They had a (fake) Unicorn, a Phoenix, a DragonBall dwarfs amongst the flowers. I picked up a few things from their gift shop.
Yvonne M — Google review
The domes are absolutely stunning, both in their unique architecture and the vibrant displays inside. Each primary exhibit offered something special, showcasing a wide variety of plants and trees from different climates and regions. It was fascinating to see so many species in one place, from towering palms to massive cactuses, especially since most of us are used to only seeing them as small houseplants. Being able to walk among them in their full size was truly a memorable experience. The layout makes for an easy and pleasant walk, allowing you to take your time and really appreciate the details without feeling rushed. Every dome felt thoughtfully curated, with plenty to see from start to finish. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend setting aside some time to visit—it’s a beautiful, educational, and relaxing spot that’s well worth the stop.

All of us had an amazing visit today! I seriously took so many pictures....and could have taken so many more! Beautiful place full of color! So many plants and flowers. Took us a little over an hour to get through everything. We'll worth the price and free parking! Highly recommend.

Wow! I didn't know conservatories could be so BIG! Whether you're outside or inside, the view is gorgeous. There are so many educational signs to read up on all of the flora, and there are so many plants to look at! The fountains outside were my toddler's favorite part, they were a great way to cool off on such a hot day. Definitely recommend!

Natural history museum
Museums
The Milwaukee Public Museum is a captivating destination for those interested in anthropology and natural history. With three floors of exhibits, visitors can explore a diverse range of attractions, including a butterfly garden. The museum boasts an impressive collection of 4 million specimens, featuring highlights such as a 14,000-year-old Hebior mammoth skeleton and the immersive 'Streets of Old Milwaukee' diorama that offers a glimpse into the city's early 1900s era.
We were so glad to visit this amazing museum. Sadly, we found out that it would be demolished and another one would be built. I hope the architects do a great job because this incredible museum has great exhibits, displays, and much art. You can spend the whole day there. Among our favorite exhibits were the Native Peoples, the European Village, the Egyptian exhibit, and the dinosaurs. We would love to go back and finish discovering the rest of the exhibits we couldn't visit. We are also glad to share with you that this museum is part of the reciprocity programs among science museums. We have a membership from the Science Museum of Minnesota, so we were able to attend for free. We highly recommend this place. P.S. To the ones planning on the design of the new museum, I hope you do a good job. Please preserve the gorgeous displays that already exist. The European village is filled with charming details that make you feel like traveling in time. There are other cute displays like a cat hidden in an alley that meows when you walk by.

Great museum with broad topics to explore. We enjoyed seeing the fossils, cultural exhibits, planet/dinosaur exhibits, Native American scenes, and more! Particularly loved “Old Milwaukee!” We were there for a few hours and while we saw a number of exhibits, did not fully digest them. Plan on return trips! There’s also a theater which looks cool. Great museum!

This is hands down one of the coolest museums I have ever seen! The displays are top notch and full of interesting exhibits! My 15 year old said this is the closest she's ever come to enjoying history! Plenty of options for ADA compliance, plenty of exhibit topics to provide fun for everyone!

We all absolutely loved this museum!! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us! Clean bathrooms which is always wonderful. There is so much to see and do you could spend a whole day here learning and exploring. Everything is so detailed and fascinating to look at. You can really see all the thought- time and hard work that went into the making of the museum. Learn about history and culture and so much more. There is even a butterfly room! Fun for all ages- three levels of fun. They even have a cafe on site and parking garage next door (fee). We had so much fun i can't wait to come again and spend more time exploring the museum.
Cortney F — Google review
Fun museum with some hidden gems that keep it interesting for everyone. From the butterfly exhibits to the rattlesnake in the Buffalo hunt, there's so muchto find and discover. The European village and the old streets of Milwaukee are one of the most unique exhibits I have seen at the many museums I've visited.

Three floors- so a lot to see. We enjoyed the planetarium show the most. The butterfly room was also really cool! Ate lunch in the cafe. It was convenient and the pizza was pretty good. There’s a lot to learn about Milwaukee and it was an interesting museum.

Had a nephew day and we came during a Summerfest weekend. So the we had little to no crowds and got to just enjoy our time here. Spent the vast majority in the butterfly exhibit. My nephew had a great time and we got to enjoy a bit of history.

Wisconsin State Fair Park

Fairground
Wisconsin State Fair Park is a year-round venue that hosts various events, including the iconic Wisconsin State Fair in August, which has been running for over 170 years. The fair offers a wide range of activities for both kids and adults, such as rides, games, food vendors, and entertainment. Additionally, the park holds Harvest Fest in the fall with attractions like pumpkin bowling and scarecrow making. Visitors can enjoy delicious fair foods like brats, corn dogs, and cream puffs.
2025. A great time. Yummy Cream puffs. Be one of the first 100 in line daily and score one free one! Get there early. Even though Mille’s was sold last year the new owners acquired the Italian sausage recipe so they taste the same. Lion’s club roasted corn is a must have. You know the kids want to hit the giant slide. Very affordable at $4/person. Parking gates open at 9 am, vendors at 10. As of 2025 pkg is $15. That does not include admission. Do not park by a no parking sign…they will tow you. Check their website for ticket prices. They have special days and deals where admissions are discounted.
Tattooed G — Google review
It's been probably 20 or 30 years since I've been to the State Fair. Basically we paid $15 each to go in and decide if we wanted to spend money on food and drink or something to carry home. We had some good food, some not so good. We did bring home cream puffs. We did take a ride on the Skyline glider. But, honestly, I was put off by the hundreds of vendors in the exhibit hall. The Fair seems to be all about getting you to part with your money.
Jerry M — Google review
Come and visit the Wisconsin State Fair if you don't want to miss the fun times of Wisconsin summer. Lots of food, drinks, and desserts to try! You can also bring your kids to Spin City for exciting rides!
Cravings M — Google review
We went to the fairgrounds for the Snap On Indy 250 race and it was great! Very clean, the food in the hospitality tent was spot on and the cream puffs were delicious!
Mary R — Google review
State Fair NEVER disappoints! Kids from Wisconsin put on a great show! The Cream Puffs, the food -- walking around hearing all the great bands -- it was hard to decide where to stop & listen. Not to mention the Skyride, the Giant Ferris Wheel. You really need more than a day. We moved from Southern Wis. to Southern Alabama 5 yrs. ago but were bk. for a family reunion. When we realized the State Fair was going on, we HAD to take a day to stop! 🌭 🎡🍿 🌽 🍺
Jennie D — Google review
Every year, the Wisconsin State Fair reminds me why I love this state so much! From the deep-fried cheese curds to the cream puffs that never disappoint, it’s a perfect mix of fun, flavor, and community. The live music is always solid, the rides bring out the kid in you, and the agricultural exhibits keep it real and rooted. Whether you’re there for the food, the animals, or just the people-watching, there’s something for everyone. Can’t wait to go back next year!
Lou M — Google review
Roasted corn and cream puffs always deliver. Fair staff will go out of their way to help you out. More exit signs are needed to find your way out of State Fair Park and to the north parking lot.

Went to the International Folk Fair and it's definitely something everyone should go to at least once. All the countries dressed in their native costumes, foods and crafts from their country. This was my 2nd yr ( change it back to the weekend before, competing with doe on the go crafts so had less food and crafts exhibited than last yr. ) Still was wonderful and so interesting. Planning to go next yr

Meat on the Street

Filipino restaurant
Meat on the Street is a popular food truck in Milwaukee that has been serving up delicious Filipino cuisine since 2014. Run by siblings Matt and Alexa Alfaro, this vibrant food truck offers a variety of Filipino dishes such as meat kebabs, lumpia Shanghai rolls, adobo chicken thighs, and more. The Kamayan platter is a must-try, featuring an assortment of flavorful dishes served on banana leaves for a unique dining experience.
My husband and I contacted Alexa at Meat On The Street for catering for our lakeside wedding reception in September and she was wonderful to work with! We knew we wanted to honor my husband's cultural background by having delicious Filipino staple foods served buffet style and although my family was unfamiliar, they unanimously loved the selection and couldn't stop raving about how we had the most delicious and memorable/unique food at a wedding they had ever had. My husband's family similarly enjoyed all of the savory and inclusive options! My rental service was notoriously difficult to work with and unfortunately both they and the venue hall made more problems for Alexa's team to work around than we anticipated by not setting up in advance or turning on the oven that was promised but the Meat On The Street Team really pulled through and delivered a good experience - thank goodness they had a fully equipped food truck available to save the day and keep everything hot and fresh! Alexa also connected us with collaborating food vendors for the lechon and wedding cake and she helped set up the additional food we outsourced ourselves, which we are so thankful for since she really helped bring our vision to life. If you'd like to have authentic Filipino food and are looking for catering we would definitely recommend Meat On The Street!

This food is amazing! Its kinda small and hidden but well worth the find! The food is all prepped here and you can tell it's made with love. The garlic rice might be my favorite thing.. ok just kidding the lumpia rolls are my favorite. I could have made a meal with just those. I took an extra 20 home to snack on during the rest of my trip. The steak and chicken were marinated and very flavorful. Yizus was behind the counter and he was very helpful. I like the cozy seats and the historical building is a nice plus. It's a good place for conversation and eating until you can't move any more.

It was delicious. My spouse said, “I haven’t had a good meal in a long time!” Well sheeesh!! Lol. It was delicious. The ice cream is light yet flavorful. First bite reminds you of vanilla but then the flavor changes. Yumdiddly The meat was so tender and flavorful. We had both beef and chicken. He had white rice, i had garlic rice which had a little kick to it. He had a cucumber salad and i had slaw. Both very refreshing. This restaurant has great food!! You have to order from your phone though.

We've gotten Meat On The Street for dinner (both at their brick-and-mortar as well as their food truck), ordered platters from them for the holidays, and even had catering from them for our wedding. Whether you're looking for traditional Filipino dishes or Filipino dishes with a modern twist they have it all! Also, MOTS easily accommodates dietary restrictions with the vast variety of foods they offer. We would highly recommend them!

The best filipino food you'll find in Milwaukee! My recommendations for first timers is the Hot Chick, Adobo over Garlic Rice, Beef Kabobs with pancit & on Saturdays they do a Lechon Kawali (crispy fried pork belly) Special that is absolutely delicious. 10/10 They're located inside Eleven25's food hall. You can order online ahead of time and pick-up within 5 minutes!

I've been craving Filipino food and this did not disappoint. I ordered adobo chicken with pancit and five lumpia rolls. The adobo chicken and pancit was masarap (delicious) and reminded me of my mom's home cooking. I've never seen lumpia this long, but it was an amazing taste with this meal. Really enjoyed this food and can't wait until a food truck makes it's way to Madison!

The young man at the counter was extremely kind and polite. While it felt like “fast food” I thought the quality of the food was actually great. The service was as well. Definitely a return trip when I’m back in Milwaukee.

It's difficult to find lumpia that tastes like sunshine with each bite. I have found the ultimate place. Meat on the Street is not to be passed by. Stop in the 1125 building and your mouth will thank you!

Phenomenal! We went here for an anniversary and between the service, and VALET especially it was truly a remarkable experience. I did not get the two valet drivers names but they were so sweet, parked perfectly and offered to walk us to our car since it was dark out. It is fair and you get sooo much food.

This was a solid experience. Service was good which we expect from a restaurant of this reputation. Our server was attentive and the food was good. I would not say that the food was completely mind blowing which at this price point I would somewhat hope and expect. We ordered our steak medium rare and it was a lot more rare than we would have liked. Also we got our Steak au Poivre with the courvoisier cream. The pepper crusting felt a bit too heavy and overpowering to enjoy the actual flavor of the steak. The level of pepper unfortunately took away from the beauty of a dry aged steak and overpowered the entire dish. The macaroni was absolutely incredible... somehow that with the cheesecake (was ordered to go so no photos were taken) was the best thing we ate the entire meal. With that, I give this place 4 stars. I think the au Poivre just needs a little editing and it can be a really beautiful addition to the steak. Next time I would go for an uncrusted steak to really enjoy the beauty of a properly dry aged steak. The atmosphere was okay. It was fairly quiet until they started to get the dinner rush. Once the rush started it did break some of the ambiance and took away the opportunity of quiet intimate conversation.

Great experience at the Capital Grille Milwaukee location . Atmosphere and vibe are classic upscale steakhouse with low lighting and white tablecloth. Service is excellent and top notch as one would expect at an upscale restaurant. Our server explained the appetizers and mains . She was very detailed with all our guests at the table . Cocktails are superb . I got a classic Negroni which was prepared really well. Appetizers we stayed with the classic jumbo shrimp cocktail that is served on a bed of ice with a really good cocktail sauce . Steaks are the gem here . Many quality cuts to choose from and a couple in house specials . I chose the NY strip au poivre which was cooked to desired medium rare . Once cut in the color was perfect to temperature and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The sauce was rich and not too peppery or overpowering. Sides do not come with the steak so we chose a combination of grilled asparagus and Brussels sprouts with a soy glaze and bacon and a side of wild roasted mushrooms. Amazing experience and would recommend for any special occasion when in the downtown area of Milwaukee. The noise level is kept low which is great for carrying on a conversation.

Just a great experience as always. The food is the best, with the coconut creme pie which will change your life! Are on Thanksgiving, and the staff were still all really great. Erin at the bar was very kind and gave us some good suggestions, she really went above and beyond. Larissa was our server and did a great job being attentive even though it was super busy. The same great experience at each Capital Grill I have been to, I can't say enough nice things .

TomKen's Bar & Grill is a laid-back eatery known for its generous portions of fried chicken, wings, and classic American fare. The menu features an array of options including buckets of fried chicken in various sizes, flavorful wing specials on Monday and Thursday nights, and the recent addition of the popular fried thigh served with dipping sauce or as part of a dinner combo.
Some of the best wings I’ve had. Various selections. They had a couple limited time flavors as well. 100% recommend and will be back!

Still the best wings that I have had. No matter the flavor getting big wings that are grilled and not fried are truly amazing! JB3 and jerk seasonings are my favorite flavors!

This a neighborhood bar, great food and service. The wings are great and the beer is reasonably priced. The chips appetizer with buffalo sauce is to die for!

Our first time here. We're from out of town staying at the Hampton Inn for a few days, walked by and stopped in. The chicken is absolutely the best fried chicken ever. Great service. Great price for food and drinks. We liked it so much, we came back the following day. Must try!
Luna 1 — Google review
This was my first time dining here and came with my family and we were pleasantly surprised! The prices are phenomenal and the chicken comes out hot and steamy, fresh and crunchy! The chili and the cheese curds are delicious too! The staff was also friendly. Only thing was the music was a bit loud and it made it a little tough to hear sometimes. This was a late lunch for us so it just seemed a bit louder than expected. Great music selection though! Can definitely see this place being great for watching sports games! Will return!

Love the food and service here! By far the best wings in town. Love the special sauces they have and definitely recommend them. The seating is a little weird in the restaurant, and hard to see TVs in some locations, but it wouldn’t deter me enough from stopping here when craving great wings!
Megan L — Google review
Just about a 4. Came because we'd heard good things about the wings. They were indeed good wings, but they're definitely not destination wings. By all means try them if you're in the area. Had one "sauce" from each spice level. The lemon popper dry rub from the "hot" list, was not spicy at all. The 2 lower spice levels were quite tasty. The burger from our group hit the same note. Good, not great. Curds were very good. No thighs available on the day we came. Service was ok. I think they may have been a bit short staffed. Brought water instead of lemonade and forgot the extra ranch until it was not much use. Friendly enough, but definitely no idle chit chat due to how busy the staff were. Seemed like a good local crowd having lunch in there. That's always a good sign. I'd come back for sure, but wouldn't make it a priority.

It's one of my favorite places for fried chicken and wings. Wonderful homemade soups and suoer friendly staff.

Oscar's Pub & Grill is a lively American eatery and tavern located in the Mitchell Park neighborhood of Milwaukee. It has gained a reputation as one of the city's top spots for gourmet burgers and an extensive selection of beers. The pub is known for offering delicious burgers at very reasonable prices, with their specialty burger, The Big O, being particularly popular.
Can't go wrong with the BIG O Burger. One of the best burger in town. Comes with amazing fries. Sometimes they're light on the fries. 10/10 Bloody Mary Not too bad. Good spice. Celery, bacon, cheese and olive. But they're heavy on the ice. 7/10

Best burgers in Milwaukee, and you get to pick your temp. I recommend the Big Aloha or Big Foot Burger! Greatest burgers I've ever eaten. Absolutely amazing place just south of the casino and offers an authentic Wisconsin pub experience with superior food and beer selection. This will be my regular place from now on!

Friendly service and decent food. The day I dined in did not necessarily live up to the reputation I heard about, but I can see how some people love it here.

I went here with my friend Oscar because of the name and we accidentally found the best burgers in Milwaukee! Solid prices as well. Fries are crispy and salty. Great draft beers and cocktails, and the service was quick and friendly. I recommend sitting outside on a nice day it’s very peaceful.

It was 4 of us and the food came out pretty quickly. It was good and we enjoyed it the only thing was that when the bill came out we saw there was an 18% gratuity added. Not sure what the policy is but I’m a waitress that’s my only source of income and I know how to tip and always tip 20% because I know how it feels so it was just weird how it was added on there and it was just 4 of us. And yes I looked on the menu and there was nothing there saying gratuity was gonna be added. But other than that we enjoyed it.
Mariela B — Google review
Burgers at this place are fantastic and messy is the best way possible. I can't wait to go back. They also have a great beer selection, over 40 different craft brews. Oh and the French fries are some of the best I've had.
Luke S — Google review
This local treasure never misses. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the vibes never miss. Get the Aloha or the Big O. Have the bartender make you a PG Paloma.
Maribel A — Google review
Best burgers in all of Milwaukee along with an amazing list of beers and drinks. The prices are so damn affordable that it makes me wonder if we're still in 2010s because that's the last time I paid for an affordable burger that wasn't $15 with no fries. The atmosphere is perfect for sports and hang with friends. You know it's good when you have Marquette freshman students going to the Southside for a burger.

Zoos & Aquariums
Aquarium
The Milwaukee County Zoo is a sprawling 190-acre attraction that houses over 2,000 animals from more than 350 species. Visitors can enjoy animal exhibits, pony and train rides, a carousel, and entertaining sea lion shows. The zoo also hosts various events such as workshops, holiday celebrations, concerts, and food festivals. Additionally, the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory known as 'the Domes' showcases tropical, arid, and seasonal plant displays in three distinct domes.
Possibly one of the best zoos around the country . Very well maintained spaces and facilities for the animals and guests . The area is surrounded with trees and natural environment making part of the entire experience of being outdoors : one with nature. It is a very big campus with a lot of opportunities for walking and enjoying the outdoors and the animals . Well paced and certainly well maintained. Bought tickets online in advance and arrived later in the afternoon to avoid crowds . Best idea ever . Parking is sprawled and easy in and out access to the zoo.

Such a nice zoo. Clean. Staff is pleasant and seem to really like their jobs. Animals appear to be well cared for. The predator prey set ups are nice. The plush scooters are fun. The gift shop is nice. There are multiple food options.
Renee H — Google review
Very nice zoo with shade and easily walkable. They had all the major animals. The only downside was some of the exhibits. For example, the big cats (e.g., lions, tigers) are all inside. It was cool seeing them so close, but I couldn't help but feel bad for them in such tiny enclosures. Now, it appears they each take turns using the outside exhibits, but it still, it was sad seeing them in these glass cages. I haven't really seen that before. There are a variety of food options and spread across nicely. The elephants had a big exhibit and appeared active. Hippo was also really neat.

Cyroni standing tall, phone in hand, legacy in progress. Then BOOM—elephant locks eyes like it’s snack time. 💥 Was it a charge? Was it a warning? Cyroni says nah—it just thought my phone was a banana. And honestly? That’s the kind of energy we bring: so fresh, even elephants want a bite. 📢 No fear. No flinch. Just a legendary moment. Cyroni didn’t back down—he just laughed it off like a true explorer. I really liked this zoo! Very beautiful and a lot bigger than the map make it seem! All I could wish is the train and the skyride were free or at least cheaper and that the parking was cheaper. The day I went it was a pretty empty parking lot so I would've hoped it would be reduced or free. I love the koi fish!

This is a nice escape out of Illinois. In the summer months, it’s a great time to walk around and see different animals and look at different attractions.. The elephant and monkey displays were great for the kids. Signage was clear and most things were easy to find using the map or the signage The zoo is adding more features this year, which is nice to see. One room for improvement is some of the food places were not open on a Friday during summer. Online ticket purchase is easy and saves you time when you park.

One of the best zoos ive been to. They have a sky lift and train to view the whole park in different ways. The way the animals were treated and the facilities they were kept in were more adequate than most. The park is huge, plan accordingly. Not everywhere was wheel friendly and there was a lot of bees but everything else was great.

Shopping
Mayfair mall is a large, sprawling shopping complex with department stores, brand-name shops, eateries and a movie theater. The mall is located just outside of Milwaukee city, and is well-known for its high concentration of upscale retailers. The food at Mayfair mall is always delicious, and there are dozens of sit-down restaurants to choose from.
Mayfair mall is a place where you can spend quality time with your family and friends by shopping, eating , trying out new stuff and others . If you are bored go watch a movie over there , if ur hungry go eat over there there are many choices . Might as well by perfumes and cologne which are basically my favourite ( shop is bath and body works) . If u want your hoodie to get decorated u can go to a stall which prints designs onto ur hoodie it’s a cool shop but my pops doesn’t let me have it so kinda ironic but otherwise its all good . Good day and get out there and enjoy to the fullest.

We love the stores at Mayfair. It is a fun place to take our kid when it's too hot, cold, or rainy to do something outside. We can read books in Barnes & Noble, play on the cars by the food court, get bubble tea, build something in the LEGO store, and so much more!
Heather H — Google review
Not a mall for woman with curves to shop at. I havent been to an actual mall in years. I went and was disappointed at the (stores) selection. I hadn't been into a Spencer's since I was probably 14. I was shocked to see how many sex toys were being sold right there in the open when there is no age limit on the store. I honest feel its an extremely immature store for people who are not 21 yet and legally not allowed in a porn store. It's pretty sad. The food court food at the wanna be Italian place was bad. It just wasn't a great experience.
Raven S — Google review
We went to Mayfair Mall today, and we had a great time! The mall was nice and clean, and we enjoyed looking in all the shops. There are lots of places to shop in, and there is plenty of parking. The people were friendly, and it was nice and warm inside.

Chik n dip in Mayfair mall food court is a great refreshing food option for zabiha halal food (as advertised by them) tried their dynamite bowl and was ok, filling and good if u are hungry. Lettuce in bottom, topped with jalapeño, corn, and pieces chicken tenders and loaded with siracha mayo. Did not try other menu items could be good.

A great shopping mall for quick visits. During the age of brick and mortar shopping mall becoming extinct, it was nice to see Mayfair pretty busy and fairly occupied by tenants. There was plenty of parking to be found, and the location seemed, bright, clean and safe for all of their customers. I'm guessing this location can get busy on weekends when the students from Iowa State are in session, but on this particular weekend, and after kids have headed back home, there was still a decent crowd and stores being visited by the residents of Ames. Happy to see there are still malls where you can get personalized service and touch the merchandise before buying.
Michael L — Google review
Many stores to shop. Clothing stores, shoe stores, jewelry stores, phones, accessories, food court, so much but I did take a hell of a lot of pictures. Oh and a movie theater (AMC) which is why I was there in the first place. Lounge areas, back rub chairs, all kinds of things. Well designed in my opinion.
Augreich — Google review
AMC at Mayfair: *seats are comfortable, but they are not recliners. The rows are also tight. There is not much space for walking in front of people already seated. *prices are high for tickets in the evening. My ticket was $21 for 1 adult imax movie. The sound and visuals are on point. *parking is easy, and the theater is easy to find. * The popcorn is good, but you have to add salt and butter yourself. You also make your own drinks. *I am a stubs member. The more frequently you watch movies, the more you get out of the membership. You don't pay the online fees, and you get discounts on concessions.

Shopping mall
Southridge Mall is a popular shopping destination in Milwaukee, offering a wide range of shops, dining options, and entertainment facilities. Visitors can explore various stores for clothing and shoes while also enjoying the cinema, brewpub, and amusement center with bowling. As the largest shopping mall in Wisconsin, it provides an extensive selection of retailers to cater to diverse preferences. Additionally, the mall's cleanliness and diverse dining options make it an attractive location for both locals and visitors.
It is one of the largest mall in Wisconsin with many stores and it is not far from Illinois. It takes about 1 hour and 20 mins from Chicago to there. Visitors can shop in JC Penny, Macy’s, Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Work…. They also have boba tea and amusement center there. Kids love these for sure. Compared pricing to other shopping malls, the price for shopping and foods at this store was less expensive. Especially tax is low, 5.9% compared to crazy tax in Chicago 10.25%. Not even mention about pricing, but tax rate definitely save you a lot for shopping.

Love this place, been going here for over 25 years. My only serious issue and concern is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The main entrance bathrooms by the restaurants and upstairs down the hallway. The janitorial staff needs to keep up or be retrained. I shouldn't have to wait and go home to use the restroom. Management staff, please advise.

Southridge Mall in Greendale, Wisconsin has a lot of stores that bring back great memories for me. I had the occasion to visit the Mall recently after a 10-year hiatus. I was disappointed to see that some stores had relocated, but I was happy to see a lot of familiar stores prospering. I have always enjoyed ambience and aromas while walking the main corridor. The entire mall is blessed with staff that is very Wisconsin friendly. All were helpful in helping our small group find and direct us to the appropriate stores to make our purchases. We needed some special products and because of their help we were able to locate them. As we walked in the main corridor staff members were saying hello and giving out samples, including food and fragrances. The mall staff/security were very helpful also. We were trying to find the best place to stand to get public transportation. He not only told us, but he took us there and stayed with us until public transportation arrived. He was the perfect representative for Southridge Mall! Great stores such as Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Starbucks, Mrs Fields, Cinnabon, Foot locker, Claire's, JCPenney and many others are all located at this mall. They're undergoing renovation but it is worth a trip. Easy parking in the front or behind for those that decide to drive. Public transportation from buses to trains have stops located near entrances. I hope new stores will find their way to this location.

Kopp's Frozen Custard is a laid-back spot that offers classic fast-food fare alongside innovative frozen custard creations. Visitors can indulge in the famous oversized burgers, with some comparing them to the beloved In-N-Out burger from California. The fries are satisfying, though some feel they could use a bit more seasoning. As for the custard, it receives high praise for its quality and flavor. The outdoor area adds to the charm of the experience, although seating options are limited.
Everything was wonderful. Terrific, large sized burger that was so tasty. I got the onion rings which were better than the fries. And the Peach Melba custard was fantastic. If you’re an out of towner, there’s no place to sit unless it’s warm outside (no tables then). Just a few high tops with no seats inside. Loved the experience!
Keith F — Google review
I had a double cheeseburger with onion rings on the side, and finished with a Swiss chocolate frozen custard. The cheeseburger was incredibly juicy and massive—it was even bigger than my fully spread-out hand. The patties were exceptionally fresh, letting me fully enjoy both the meat’s juiciness and flavor, and the cheese complemented it perfectly. The onion rings were the crispiest and tastiest I’ve ever had. As for the Swiss chocolate custard, it was rich, thick, and decadently smooth with a deep, clean chocolate flavor.

It melts quickly because it is so fresh so eat quickly! But a single scoop was plenty! We decided not to drive and just take a few minutes to enjoy it totally. You can't visiting Milwaukee without a stop at Kopp's the daily change in flavors with real chunks Even though we ended up with a vanilla cup. My first Kopp's experience was memorable. There are several of the Kopp's Custard Stands around Milwaukee. They all have excellent custards which can expand your outlook if over indulged. The custard is very creamy and they serve. 100% recommend!

I had a cheeseburger and it was amazing. It was very big and delicious. The beef patties are really good quality. Unfortunately they don’t have tables like in regular restaurants but they have a nice place outside where you can eat. Also tried banana split and it was good but nothing special.

The food was great but a bit on the expensive side for being fast food. The burgers are well made and the custer tasted good. No seating for eating inside just a few standing locations. Concert benches outside but no tables.

Blue's Egg is a popular restaurant located on 76th Street in Milwaukee, known for its globally inspired American breakfast and lunch offerings. The art deco-style eatery serves a wide range of dishes, including monkey bread, omelets with cherrywood bacon, creamy polenta, buttermilk pancakes, and stuffed hash browns. The menu features flavors from around the world, with options like Dubliner Benedict and roast pumpkin-stuffed French toast. Guests can also enjoy takeaway coffee and pastries.
August 2025: I went to lunch at Blue's Egg on a Tuesday afternoon with my mom and her dog. It was about 12:45PM and we were seated right away outside. My mom has a walker and we had a stroller for the dog and the hostess was very accommodating- she offered a larger table for us to sit at so we could fit comfortably. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. My mom and I shared the Bowl of Rejuvenation (sauce on the side) and the Turkey Clubhouse with fries. We loved both of the dishes!! The bowl had fresh and healthy veggies, great textures, and we both felt the sauce wasn't necessary. The sauce had a great tomato flavor but we enjoyed the vegetables and farro as they were. The sandwich was also delicious! The bread was toasted and fresh and the house-roasted turkey was great and went perfect with the sun-dried tomato and cranberry spread. At the end of our meal, we ordered a slice of silk pie to go and enjoyed that as well! Overall, our lunch was a 10/10 and we can't wait to go back!

I was hungry and me and my friend decided to check Blue eggs out I looked at the reviews and they were pretty good so we went and when I say omg the parking lot was packed. I’m like this food must be good. We went in and the host set us at the table right away I just knew we were going to have to wait because of how packed it was in there but any way The waitress came to the table her name was Gime She was so nice. She asked us had we ever been there before we told her no so she started explaining the menu to us we placed our order food came out. It wasn’t steaming hot. It was OK but it tasted delicious. Very good food. Gina was really cool. Very nice lady. I wish we had more Gina’s.

First time visiting this place and would definitely recommend! My waitress brought my food within less than 10 min after giving her my order. She was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the calzone omelet, and it was a lot bigger than what I was expecting. I also ordered monkey bread and tried it for the first time - 10/10. It had the right amount of sweetness and it was supper yummy! The only thing I disliked, was when one of the ladies at the front entrance walked me to my table - she wasn’t friendly at all. Literally just had me walk behind her, and she just dropped the menu and silverware at the table and walked away. There was no “enjoy”, “someone will be with you shortly”, etc. Other than that, I loved this place and would definitely come back!

Wow, this was a great find! Thank goodness we had reservations, the place was packed when we got there at 10:15 am on a Wednesday morning! It was not too far from the American Family stadium! The food was so delicious and big portion too! My favorite was the monkey bread, the caramel sauce was outstanding! It was pretty noisy because the place was really busy until about 12 noon!

A Milwaukee staple! do yourself a favor and schedule a reservation!!!! Expect to pay at least $15/person per plate. Prices caught me off guard - this place is expensive! The food is great! Loved the back area that feels like an entirely different restaurant. Staff were all so wonderful and sweet. The bakery items were WAY to sweet for me, but I must say their selection is full of different flavors and goodies.

Blues Egg absolutely nailed our Sunday Funday! My sister and I came in around 1pm and had one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. She ordered the steelhead trout and I went with hash browns topped with pesto tomatoes and a side of hollandaise, chef’s kiss! Every bite was perfect. On top of the amazing food, we had the sweetest, smiliest bartender (I believe her name was Anna?) who made our day even better. Her energy was contagious and honestly, I’d come back just for her vibe alone. Incredible food + amazing service = 10/10 brunch experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🥂💛

Tried out Blue Eggs + Bakery and honestly… it was giving confused brunch identity crisis. The menu? Overwhelming. Felt like they were trying to do everything everywhere all at once — and not in a good way. Sat at the counter and vibes were meh. Waitress was okay, but I overheard her getting into it with a customer outside, which definitely added some unexpected spice to my eggs. Ordered steak and eggs (steak medium well). Got it well done — dry and covered in some mystery sauce I didn’t ask for. Avocado I added on the side? Rock hard. Like… not even slightly ripe. I could’ve used it as a paperweight. Overall: mid. Overhyped. Not in a rush to go back.

The hash browns have that thick real buttery crisp fried. Got the stuffed hash w their ham, which their ham is really good but there wasn't nearly as much stuffed in it as expected maybe only as much as was on top, but it was good still. Monkey break was alright, could have skipped it. Needed more gooeyness was kind of stale seeming, not so gooey soft on inside. Coffee cocktail, don't know if it was specifically a espresso martini or their take on, but hit the spot

The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They made my college graduation celebration with my partner an experience we'll never forget. We will definitely go back!

What an amazing dinner at Bartolotta! The tour of Sicily is absolutely incredible. The dishes are simple, but so flavorful. Our servers Sarah and Tony were so knowledgeable about the dishes and helpful when trying to choose an option. They took such great care of us. This restaurant has incredible service and the most delicious food! It’s worth the trip to Wauwatosa.

Experience delicious food in a fantastic atmosphere that guarantees an excellent dining experience. You pay a fixed price and select one option each for antipasti, first course, second course, and dessert. Don't miss out on this exceptional culinary experience to travel to Italy with your senses!

We were sitting outside and it is beautiful there. The service is great. We had high hope but were bit disappointed with the food. Some of my pasta were overcooked and some were undercooked. The risotto was tasty, we loved the dried fig, it was a great combination but too bad the risotto was overcooked. The pork collar is cooked right but not much to it. The best dish was the lamb. The soggy tiramisu was a huge letdown. Overall the food didn’t live up to the hype.

We love Ristorante! Been here many times for the amazing outdoor seating. We used to come with my dear father-in-law who enjoyed it so much as well. We were here yesterday evening to celebrate his birthday..he is no longer with us but we still get together in memory of him each year. The food was phenomenal. Absolutely every dish we had was amazing. A big negative unfortunately was arriving to find the patio area that I had booked for completely closed. I asked about this and was told that there was a large party upstairs and they couldn't staff the outdoor area. Understandable, but a phone call prior would have been very much appreciated. Everyone in my group has great memories out in that area. Maybe next time. The service was fine, not great. There were only four people staffed in the dining room. No bread was offered until we asked and dinner was not served until almost an hour after our arrival. Again, I assume that this is due to the large party upstairs. I can understand that but regardless, the experience this time was a bit of a miss.

We enjoy immensely the new menu format which every few weeks chooses a new region of Italy. We are both pescatarians, so we are only interested in those menus/regions where there's a fish option for your the main course, typically there is, but sometimes not. Fortunately, there was a fish option, as Abbruzo is on the Adriatic coast, this dinner was one of the best we've had at Restarante. We are looking forward to upcoming regions, especially Pulia and Sicily.

We were here for Valentine's Day, and the whole experience was amazing. The restaurant is very cute and quaint inside, and the service is excellent. I don't even have words for how good the food is! We were just amazed! We had tiramisu for dessert that was exceptional. I recommend trying this restaurant out, it is definitely a wonderful experience!
