Beaches
East Hampton Main Beach is a popular ocean beach with lifeguards, a snack bar, and bathrooms. It's known for its long stretches of white sands and calm waters, making it an excellent spot for families to enjoy activities like building sandcastles and having picnics. The beach also offers opportunities for sun worshippers to relax while taking in the beautiful scenery. Additionally, Main Beach provides various activities such as swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball, and surf lessons.
This place is pure happiness. Make sure to pay for parking as they do ticket the vehicles. This beach does tend to get busy on the weekends. You can have a fire at night here as long as it’s in a metal fireplace. Great sand as well!
Taylor R — Google review
This beach is so clean and peaceful. It is in a quiet area and feels like an oasis away from the madness in NYC Side note, if you’re someone who likes a classic beach day be prepared to see the locals stare if you are in anything but a linen button down and khakis. I have never seen a beach where people don’t wear swimsuits but here we are! All in all a beautiful spot and would definitely visit again.
Deanna — Google review
It was a lovely beach. The day was sunny and bright. the ocean breeze was cool. The restaurant was as you entered the beach area, and the bathrooms were clean. It's a nice beach for riding the waves and tanning. The water temp was a tad cold.
Natiesha L — Google review
One of the best beaches in the country! My happy place… 💙
James R — Google review
Very nice Beach. You need to pay for parking by scanning a QR code in your phone. There are a few bikes that you can rent also by using an app to unlock them. There are several benches and bins between the parking lot and the beach itself. When I was there, there was a sign saying there’s no lifeguard.

Main Beach in East Hampton is a beautiful stretch of coastline that perfectly captures the charm of Long Island’s East End. Known for its clean, soft sand and gentle waves, it’s an ideal spot for a relaxing day by the ocean. The beach is well-maintained and has lifeguards on duty, making it a safe and family-friendly destination. What sets Main Beach apart is its peaceful, upscale atmosphere—there are no overwhelming crowds or noisy distractions, just the sound of the surf and sweeping views of the Atlantic. Sunrises and sunsets here are especially stunning, with the sky painted in vivid colors over the water. While parking can be challenging without a local permit, the experience is well worth it. Main Beach combines natural beauty with a sense of tranquility, making it one of the most enjoyable and iconic beaches in the Hamptons.
Frank — Google review
The parking is a nightmare. We stopped to grab a quick bite to eat and check out the scene. We went to park in the lot and it uses park mobile. I thought the app was broken because it was telling me I had to park for 11 hours. I was only going to be there for around 30 minutes. No where did it say flat rate parking or anything of that nature. I thought to myself no way they actually expect you to pay $50 for a quick stop this would be the most expensiveparking I have ever seen in my 36 years on earth. Anyway I got back to my car after a quick bite and surely I got a ticket. One would think a parking ticket of that nature might be $75-$100 as gross actions like parking in handicap spaces warrant $250 dollar tickets. Nope it was a $250 dollar ticket. I nicely asked the officer who was giving out the tickets how can you expect someone parking 15 minutes to pay the same as someone parking 11 hours. He couldn't even answer the question but explained it was flat rate parking. Honestly this should be illegal. Its not even like they lost any money because as soon as I left my spot someone else parked in it. Its just straight up greed and not right. This review is just to warn people trying to go here as I have no choice but to pay this outrageous ticket where the punishment doesnt fit the crime.

Georgica Beach, located in the town of East Hampton, is a hidden gem offering seclusion and charm. This stunning 90-meter stretch of fine golden sand and crashing waves is framed by beautiful East Hampton mansions. The area boasts historical waterfront mansions, making it perfect for design enthusiasts. Lifeguards keep watch over bathers, ensuring a safe environment for swimming and beach activities. Nearby attractions like Georgica Pond and Two Mile Hollow Beach offer additional opportunities for picnicking and relaxation.
Nice, well maintained beach. Lots o' jelly fish.

What a great location and away from the main village. East access and the parking lot isn’t far at all from the actual beach
Tressie T — Google review
Beach is great but the sign about parking permits needed up to 5PM is comically small. I stayed 20 minutes due to high winds blowing sand into my face and ruining my food and ended up for a $150 ticket on top.
Michal K — Google review
Beautiful wide beach that was great for kids… Small enough to be able to keep your eyes on them. When we went the tide was low and felt very safe because you could walk out very far and the water would only hit your knees. Obviously not always like that… but nice that it sometimes is.
J W — Google review
Beautiful, sandy beach! We were only able to park there because it was off season. Must have a permit in summer.

Guild Hall is a renowned cultural complex in the Hamptons that offers a diverse range of artistic experiences. Visitors can explore art exhibits, theater productions, film screenings, concerts, and workshops. The venue also hosts engaging events such as talks with acclaimed chefs and stage performances featuring well-known actors. Additionally, Guild Hall provides opportunities for creative expression through art classes for both adults and children. Surrounding the area are historic landmarks like colonial homes and the first prep school in the United States.
Enjoyed visiting the Guild Hall in East Hampton last night for a screening of “All The Presidents Men “. The 1976 classic brought back many memories of the Watergate era and reminded all of how dangerous our own government can be. A Q&A that included Alec Baldwin followed and was a great way to end a good night out . The renovation of the Guild Hall makes for a terrific place to watch real movies on a real screen !

"StarTalk Live!" at Guild Hall was amazing. Listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson bring science and comedy together for we the audience to travel with them and learn about recent discoveries/mysteries of the universe was really great. I loved listening to Charles Liu's passionate delivery of theories and the wonders of Astrophysics, a science that has no beginning nor end. Engaging those who knew nothing about the subject and those who knew more, was like listening to Shakespeare's words speak to everyone, no matter what era they lived in. Chuck Nice was a fun counterpart to the information presented when he was throwing chards of comic relief darts at us to keep us awake while surfing backwards, forwards, backwards again and again...Creatives are truly the best messengers of new science and new media information to the public at large and they were proof of that!

Restaurant
Nick & Toni's is a long-standing restaurant in the Hamptons, offering Italian-Mediterranean cuisine in a stylish farmhouse setting. It has been a fixture in the area for over three decades and is known for its use of local produce and fish, as well as its wood-fired dishes. The restaurant creates an intimate and romantic atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for special occasions like Valentine's Day.
Visited for the $32 Two-Course Pizza & Pasta Prix Fixe. Excellent food. Excellent service (I suspect thanks to being off season). The wait staff coming to tell me the pasta special was SEVEN agnolotti not the SIX he had sold me, was a little over the top, but attention to detail is important

We were a group of three and had a great experience. We started with three appetizers: zucchini, artichokes and a salad. The first two were incredible. Then we shared a pizza and the rigatoni. Pizza was normal but the rigatoni…out of this world! Highly recommended. To end we had two desserts, the lemon tart and the ice cream. Finally, we also had an incredible wine, Lion Tamer, that’s a mix of Malbec and Cabernet.
Juan C — Google review
I have eaten here a few times before but my most recent visit was extra special - it was the first night of my bachelorette trip and my 4 friends and I had the best experience! The food was delicious, drinks were great and our server Moises (and the rest of the staff) were 10/10. Nick and Toni’s is a must-visit for me whenever I am in the Hamptons
Bianca H — Google review
This restaurant is a solid choice for the Hamptons, where dining options are limited. The service is excellent, the food quality is good, and the ambiance is cozy. The zucchini fries are a must-try.
Fabiola F — Google review
I've been going to Nick & Toni's since the early 1990's. I was sort of a regular on Friday nights in the 2000's sitting at the bar for dinner & drinks with friends. When my parents would come to visit, we would always go to N&T's either sitting outside or in their main dining room. I remember Bonnie so well. She treated us ever so kindly! The pandemic happened and I never went back until this past Friday night. OMG. After all these years, its BETTER THAN EVER!!! We sat at the countertop (thats what we wanted) and the service couldnt have been any better. Superior to most highly rated restaurants in Manhattan. Food was incredible too!!! The beat salad and Trumpet Mushrooms....YUMMY. Of course the Zucchini Fritti was as good as always. Actually, it was much, much better this time around. The front desk (manager and host) were incredible too. Personable and easy to talk to. Great people watching too. And atmosphere great. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Congrats after all the years!
Danny C — Google review
A quite lively environment! My experience was ruined by the location of my table. My chair/back was up against the hostess stand, and I was either having to get up to let the staff pass or keep getting bumped against the table as they squeezed pass. The lamb was excellent…the cocktails were great…the desserts—not so much
Latisha D — Google review
It sounds expensive, looks exclusive and maybe "oh so fancy" but it's not. Instead it's a warm, inviting atmosphere with a friendly, unpretentious staff. I went in jeans and didn't feel out of place. Give this landmark a try just once, and you'll be a loyal regular too. PS: the background music is wonderful too!

Bakery
Restaurant
Carissa's the Bakery in Amagansett is a light-filled locale offering freshly baked breads, pastries, and a full menu of breakfast and lunch bites. The staff even grows the grains for their homemade bread, making it a perfect spot to pick up sandwiches for a beach day. They are known for their signature pickled rye bread and top-shelf sandwiches served on thick slabs of sourdough with unique fillings like pickled Fresnos and braised greens.
✨Breakfast heaven alert ✨ I had the most amazing breakfast experience at this place! Everything was so beautiful, it felt like I had walked into a Pinterest board 🖼️. The decor? Stunning. The food? As pretty as a Vogue spread and just as delicious. I almost cried. If I lived next door, I’d probably be here every single morning pretending I’m living my best life (and I’d totally be broke $$$$!, but with good lighting and great eggs). Pro tip: wear your cutest outfit, this place deserves a full photoshoot. Also, bring the whole crew! The menu has something for everyone. I only missed some fruit on the side 🫠 (toddler problems lol you know) because the fruit was hiding deep inside the yogurt — which was still delicious, by the way. Will I be back? Yes. Weekly? I wish. Daily? If I win the lottery and move in next door. 😁🏡🙌 10/10 highly recommend. 📸🥐🌿🧃 Thank you, guys!!!
Renata R — Google review
Carissa has good food and some truly delicious pastries, but unfortunately the service is extremely disappointing. There’s a woman who seems to be either the manager or the owner, and her attitude comes across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. A lot of people had warned me about the service here, but I still wanted to give it a chance. Sadly, I had the same experience, and I won’t be coming back. It’s a shame because the place has so much potential to be a warm, inviting spot, but the lack of hospitality really takes away from it. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.
Fabiola F — Google review
I love Carissa's bread and the outdoor garden at this location is lovely for a brunch time gathering. Glad there are a few vegan options but would love to see some vegan pastries and the otherwise vegan sandwiches to be made with a different bread than milk bread (they won't substitute which is frustrating). That being said the grain bowl was delicious and the avocado toast without cheese is always very tasty. Good coffee and plant-milk options too!
Lynette K — Google review
The pistachio latte was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. Despite being kind and leaving a tip, we were met with cold and unwelcoming service—no smiles, no thank yous. It’s hard to want to return when the atmosphere feels so unfriendly
Beyza A — Google review
Great food. The pastries are the best part personally. Drinks and sandwiches are also really good. They have different things every day but normally stick to a schedule and repeat products. It can get really busy, so the workers are trying to keep the line moving. I recommend not standing in line if you have no idea what you want, you're just slowing the line down and making the workers frustrated. Nice patio for seating with a lot of shade. Great prices for great quality. I recommend coming to this Carissa's instead of the one in East Hampton, because everything is baked here.
Joseph L — Google review
Amazing bakery and desserts. Staff are friendly and chill. Love this place. They messed up our order but made it up to us. Highly recommend!
Rimma W — Google review
Omg everything is so good! I had 2 sandwiches, and pistachio croissants 🥐. All of them r so good. Especially the bread is crunchy outside and soft inside. I also bought plain croissants and tried the day after I bought. It is one of the best 🥐 in my life. I hope they have location in queens or Manhattan so that I can try more often 😆
Tam S — Google review
It's unfortunate that there is such a beautiful patio, but if you're having dessert and coffee you can't use it, only allowed on the communal table inside - even though the tables outside were almost empty. Felt like second class citizens. The carrot cake was amazing, the almond croissant and the chocolate cookie overcooked and crunchy. Atmosphere great, service OK, food hit or miss. Could be a 5/5, needs small adjustments.

This place never misses. I have been getting the t18? Turkey provolone etc sandwich since I tried it on field day at Amagansett school; I am in college now it hasn’t missed once. Extra balsamic is a mandatory. LOVES IT!

Luigi's is my go to EVERY TIME I am back home visiting! The focaccia sandwich, F6 to be exact, is my must have! Make sure you get the extra side cup of balsamic vinaigrette to dip your sandwich! Best sandwiches in Long Island! Their homemade focaccia is the best I've had; their house vinaigrette makes every sandwich better. The full size sandwiches are so big I always try and save half for later but they are just too tasty I can't help but eat them all at once.

Originally constructed in the late 17th century, it transitioned into an inn in 1770, showcasing original architectural details like a steep wooden staircase, exposed beams, and an antique fireplace that add to its character.

I did not stay here, but a friend gave me a restaurant gift card for my birthday. Never mind which birthday. The food and service is of a very high standard. Also, no children running around tables. The Thai red curry shrimp soup was perfect. My wife loves her salad appetizer and the dressing was just about perfect. I had the steak with brussel sprouts and potato puree. Pure baby food. This will be a gift that keeps on giving as it will now be a regular spot for us.

The waiter was very nice and attentive . The food was just ok. Not worth the price. I spent close to $300 for two people and was given attitude by the manager when I asked the best way to walk to the back parking area. The door leading to the back garden right by tables where people dining and we didn’t want to disturb people… He could have been much nicer when asked a simple question and directed us to the best way out. Very déclassé and off putting . I ate inside tonight in the Tavern but only worth it if you have a table in the back garden on a good weather night which is pretty . I have had a good experience out there in the past. When I got to my car a large parked black SUV blocked me as well as several others from being to able to pull out. Welcome to the Hamptons.

One of the best hotels I have EVER stayed at. 10/10. Combine the customer service of the Ritz, Peninsula and the Aman and you get 1770 House! Amazing customer service, cozy and quaint rooms! The beautiful gardens were the perfect relaxing retreat!! The lights hanging from the trees was the EXPERIENCE you didn’t know you needed. Room 6 was perfect, the most comfortable bed, Matouk sheets and the room smelt like an amazing spa with the Molton Brown scents and toiletries. The breakfast was to die for. Delicious pancakes and croissants. The general manager was the sweetest and she called ahead to verify my arrival. She was so kind and genuinely excited when we checked in! We were so sad when we left! We are already planning our return trip!! Next time we will be staying much longer. Stay here for the ultimate luxury experience at a phenomenal price!

Italian restaurant
Serafina East Hampton is a stylish yet laid-back trattoria offering thin-crust pizza, pasta, and other light Italian dishes. The restaurant's hip ambiance makes it a popular spot for people-watching on the patio. With French doors that open during warmer months, the restaurant provides an al fresco dining experience in a quaint and comfortable setting. Families, couples, and friends can enjoy the welcoming environment while savoring a wide range of delicious Italian fare.
Three words for you, consistency, delicious, don’t have to sell a kidney to eat here affordable and more delectable than other Italian restaurants out East. Last night we found ourselves once again at Serafina an establishment we so enjoy we drive all the way from Southampton just for a quick meal. The reason being Goran and his staff simply run one of the best eateries out here that never disappoints. We have a running joke in our family that the second time we dine it’s always terrible, never close to our first positive experience at a place. However, not here, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. There is something about the pizza as a long-time New Yorker, former food blogger and all-round pizza aficionado I can wholeheartedly say the pizza in the Hamptons sucks. It simply does, poor quality ingredients, crusts that are either so soggy you could use them as a sponge or so hard they could double as a weapon. At Serafina’s, they have a traditional pizza oven with quality, fresh ingredients that melt in your mouth. Not to sound cliché, but you can truly taste the difference. To-go orders are always pouring out for the pizza and I thank my lucky stars they aren’t closer or undoubtedly none of my pants would fit. The Aperol spritz’s are perfectly refreshing and balanced no matter who the bartender is. And my personal favorite that I actually dream about like a fat kid in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is their homemade gnocchi. Lusciously light small bites that dissolve onto your tongue with barely a chew. I always order mine with a mushroom cream sauce instead of the traditional marinara. And have watched friends who hate shrooms of all kinds eat half my plate as it’s irritably mouthwatering. Don’t be dissuaded by the name either if you’re like me, a snobbish Manhattanite who thinks, “oh I’ve been to a million Serafina’s in the city before.” This Serafina is unlike any other, a true gem of Italian hospitality and cuisine that delivers not like dominos but just like your Nonna would. Buon Appetito!

We had a family dinner here in April. The manager held our reservation and seated our large party in the perfect spot! The friendly professional service was fantastic! I wish they had more vegan options. The only option listed is a spaghetti squash platter that could definitely use more flavor. Everyone else enjoyed the salads, pizza, pasta, and wine selections. Fun festive atmosphere that is perfect for a big gathering.

Always an excellent option for dinner when visiting East Hampton. We savored Chicken Paillard and Ravioli Al Tartufo Nero. Both dishes were exceptionally delightful. There is seating available both indoors and outdoors. The service was polite and amiable.

We love this place! The owner Goran is one of the most hospitable business owners in all of East Hampton. Claudia is also a phenomenal bartender. The service and food is always 100%, all while dealing with the seasonal crowds that find their way east in the summer. Great spot!

Serafina gets better and better. We went again last night. Our waiter, Scott was pleasant, funny, and very attentive. Couldn't ask for better service. The Stripped Bass was absolute perfection, with asparagus, roasted baby potatoes and all beautifully presented with the most delicious, almost clear tomato essence sauce. No kidding it was top shelf and should be put on the regular menu. Highly recommend Serafina and this special if it's available.

What a fantastic little gem in the Hamptons, and close to it all! Highly recommend the Tartufo Nero pizza - to die for. The Serafina Chicken salad is also a must!

I want to complement the wait staff last night. The guy who took our order disappeared for some reason, I don't know why, but the other waiters took over and looked after us. The food was delicious. Great menu, especially good selection for vegetarians which is hard to find around the Hamptons. Prices are not outrageous here compared to other similar restaurants in the area. All in all, a great experience.

American restaurant
Bar
East Hampton Grill, owned by the Hillstone Group, offers a familiar American dining experience with its open kitchen and bustling bar. The restaurant is known for its classic menu featuring dishes like spinach and artichoke dip, salmon, jumbo shrimp, kale and rotisserie chicken salad. It's advisable to make reservations in advance, but there's also ample bar seating available for walk-ins.
Wow ! So impressed with everything. We ate here on a whim, reserved the day before. We had dinner on a Monday night the place was packed, service was amazing - food comes out very fast and spot on. They really take care of their guests here. We had the deviled eggs, fried oysters, the chicken, the burger and key lime pie for dessert. So simple- but one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We will be back !!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of New York. Every time I come here I get the ribs and ice cream Sunday. I will always come back to this spot because of how fantastic the food is. I also love these chicken, biscuits, and kale salad. This place is such a treat. Walk ins are a pain though they get super busy and I don’t think it’s that well organized

The cheeseburger was the most delicious I’ve ever had! Such a great place with friendly service. It was busy on Sunday evening and a few items were out, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try them next time

5 stars because all of the food was such high quality and super fresh. Ambiance is lovely with nice spacing between tables so you don't feel squished. Our server was delightful and attentive. Honestly my only complaint is the French fries are too thin and skinny so they are more like crunchy potato chips. Highly recommend the chilled jumbo shrimp and Caesar with crispy oysters! Also don't skip the biscuits, you'll thank me later :)

We had dinner here on Saturday night off season. The place was packed. Very cozy atmosphere with delicious food. Wonderful fireplace. I would expect the server to suggest hot towels when everyone was eating finger foods at the table. I should not have to request them at an establishment like this….prices are very Hamptons…elitist and out of touch. Lol

Always a class act from beginning to end. Shout out to Shannon for elevating the experience that much more tonight. Cesar salad- excellent! Lobster Po’ boy and crab cakes; to die for. Goat cheese stuffed olives in the martini; delish.

You will not be disappointed! The biscuits are absolutely delicious. Our party had the steak - salmon and ribs and they were all so good. The food is outstanding. Make advanced reservations- they are extremely busy.

I am local in sag harbor. Came at 6pm for 2 tables. With my wife and 2 kids (ages 6 and 4) and my lovely in-laws with kids similar age. They sat us. And not more than 5 minutes later the manager came up, for the FIRST TIME, and told us, with our well behaved kids who were simply getting seated, that if she came back again we would have to leave. No warning. No hello. No screaming, no miss behaved kids. Nothing. Just “you have to leave if I come back”. This place doesn’t budge on many things which we all know. But wow are they disgusting. They should just write NO kids in reservation. Why even have them if you won’t let them sit down and have conversation with each other? Because some 95 year old named Kathy used poor judgement and complained unnecessarily? Some people are just miserable.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard is a long-standing winery estate that offers a stylish and airy tasting room, available by reservation only. Founded in 1988, this Sagaponack staple exudes an air of relaxed grandeur with its rustic-modern tasting room overlooking lush rows of glistening grapes. Visitors can savor a charcuterie board and a glass of the vineyard's signature Summer in a Bottle rosé while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy — the perfect mix of nature, vineyards, and great taste. The live music was amazing and set the mood for the whole evening. The wine was excellent — you can tell it’s made with care and passion. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was okay! The Vineyard is gorgeous. Grounds beautiful! The food menu could use a bit more variety. Our server seemed rushed & a bit overwhelmed. We made reservations so sat immediately. The venue is extremely clean, even the restroom. For 4 of us our bill was $164, not bad all. Well one person was 9, so they had no alcoholic beverages lol just the entrees. There is plenty of parking. Once seated, we were served. The grounds were lovely. Not one of my favorites. Probably will not return again. But, I do recommend if you’ve never been. Good for groups, couples or even solo.

It was my first time visiting a winery, and it turned out to be a really great choice. The tasting selection was excellent, and the cheese plate was delicious, but most of all, the friendly staff and clean facilities made the experience perfect. On our way out, we bought several bottles of wine, and since there was a sale, we got them at a great price. I was surprised at how many people there were for a weekday, so I can only imagine how busy it must get on weekends. I’d definitely love to come back again!

We had an amazing day at Wölffer Estate today. Our tour guide Fairley was entertaining and knowledgeable, she kept us laughing all day 😊 From our private tasting table and snacks under the vines, learning about the different types of trellising, how the grapes are processed, and more tastings in the barrel room, we had an amazing and memorable day. We are looking forward to our future visits. We loved the wine and atmosphere so much, we signed up for the wine club and took a few bottles home.
Alexandra M — Google review
Vince was a great tour guide, knowledgable about everything from the agriculture, history, and wine making process. He handled all our questions with a friendly and passionate attitude and showed us all the parts of the vineyard. The property is quite beautiful. The tasting started with snacks in the dining room and progressed to the wine cellar.

An absolute gem of a winery in the Hamptons—this place is a must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was relaxed yet upscale, with beautiful views and plenty of space to kick back with a glass of wine. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire tasting experience feel effortless. Their Riesling was crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced—one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The rosé was also a standout: dry, vibrant, and ideal for sipping under the sun. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for a great place to hang out with friends, this spot checks all the boxes. We ended up staying for hours and brought home a few bottles to keep the good vibes going. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m out east. This winery truly captures the spirit of the Hamptons.

LongHouse Reserve, located in East Hampton, NY, is a 16-acre garden and sculpture park offering a serene escape from the beach scene. Visitors can explore various gardens including the vibrant Red Garden designed by founder Jack Lenor Larsen. The reserve features permanent and seasonal artworks, Peters Pond with water lilies and lotus plants, as well as outdoor art installations. Guided tours are available for those interested in learning more about the sculptures and gardens.
What a beautiful place.!! It was a rainy day when we went, but it was even better like this. The whole reserve is well maintained and in excellent conditions. I really admire the talent of every artist that created all the beautiful art pieces. Felt so peaceful and great energy walking through every part of it.

I went on a Wednesday and there wasn’t anybody at the door so it was donation only. Since they only had cash and no QR code I wasn’t able to donate. The space itself was absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are meticulously cared for and I enjoyed all the artwork. I’m not sure the rules but it would be a great space for a picnic lunch if they allow it.The best thing is there are tons of benches everywhere so you can just sit and enjoy the moment. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful outdoor spaces. Beautifully landscaped flower gardens among tall trees. Meandering paths to really nice area to just sit and exhale until the parents come with their loud unruly children....but it's easy enough to find another peaceful spot. This is probably the best place to visit in all of the Hamptons for sure.

I recently visited LongHouse Reserve and had a wonderful experience. This beautiful park is perfect for a peaceful stroll, taking about an hour and a half to walk through. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds, as it gets busier later in the day. The parking area is quite small, so coming early also ensures you find a spot easily. The art installations scattered throughout the park are average, but the botanical elements are truly incredible. The variety of plants and well-maintained gardens create a serene atmosphere that's perfect for nature lovers. Overall, LongHouse Reserve is a lovely destination for a leisurely walk and a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle. Must!

I came here on a gorgeous day over Memorial Day weekend with two others. The reserve was not crowded, there was plenty of parking, and was very tranquil. We did a docent tour with an amazing and extremely knowledgeable guide. There are so many obvious and subtle pieces of outdoor through the property so take your time to soak it all in. I highly recommend visiting the LongHouse Reserve as it is a lovely and almost magical experience. I cannot wait to go back.

Beautifully designed park, located in a quiet location, that will teleport you into a peaceful world. I would highly suggest visiting this place.

Unique combination of botanical and sculpture gardens. For me botanical and landscaping components of the reserve out-weighed the art part though. Variety of landscapes are packed into the acreage of the site. Visited on early September weekday, found ample parking and relatively few fellow visitors. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring grounds, allocate 1-2 hours to view everything.

Nestled in the heart of East Hampton, Mill House Inn is a charming boutique-style bed and breakfast known for its elegant rooms and suites. Each accommodation is individually decorated to provide a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. The staff are well-versed in all things Hamptons and are happy to offer recommendations for activities, dining, and local attractions. This hospitality hybrid offers the privacy and comfort of a luxury boutique hotel while maintaining the intimacy and local charm of a small inn.
We had a great stay....walked to restaurants and downtown. Kenny, the manager there was so gracious and welcoming in helping me with our reservation after I messed up online. Kelly and Dawn were such friendly hosts and so accommodating. The whole staff made us feel welcome and pampered. The chef prepared exquisite breakfasts, which we are still talking about. What a great experience, and we can't wait to go back again!! Thanks all for making our 25th anniversary celebration one we will always remember!!

We stayed at the Inn for our anniversary last weekend. We are devotees of bed and breakfast hotels and loved this one. We arrived to find a huge, and I mean, huge, bouquet of the most beautiful white roses waiting for us in the suite that they upgraded us to. Totally unexpected. These folks could not do enough for us. Breakfast was extremely nice, cooked to order with quality ingredients. Bed was extremely warm and comfortable. The management, the staff, can't say anything negative about the inn at all. It was a very nice stay and we would absolutely do that again.

We loved our stay at the The Mill House Inn, and are already planning our next trip. It was my spouses first time out east and I wanted to find a place that was welcoming, had the spirit of the Hamptons, and was well located so we could visit different villages. What I failed to realize when I booked was that we could also just park the car at the Inn and not move it as there was so much to see and do in East Hampton. Genius. Dawn welcomed us and made us feel right at home and it was as if we had our own country house. We loved the breakfast, the friendly staff, and the fact that the other guests seemed to be regulars really spoke to us. We are quite and love to meditate, and walk in nature, so this was heaven to us. Under Dawn's guidance we went to the local beach and surprise, saw a seal giving birth to a pup, had an amazing meal or two thanks to her suggestions and picked up food at Citarella right down the street. We had a lovely time at The Mill House Inn and our two day stay was as relaxing as a week long vacation.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Mill House Inn. Our room was so bright with natural light coming in from so many windows. The staff was so helpful with any requests we had and breakfast was delicious. Dawn was especially helpful and friendly starting with a personal call the same day we booked our stay. She assisted in recommending restaurants and local attractions that we may want to see while we wete there. It was such and enjoyable and relaxing time and we are already thinking about our next trip there. Would highly recommend the Mill House Inn.

This is simply an incredible place to stay in East Hampton...everything is wonderful. We have been staying there for years and years and every time we stay is more special than the last. The service is wonderful and the rooms are impeccable. Of course it is also a great location so close to town, but nothing compares to the people who run the hotel. Don't miss this gem!

This was our initial experience at the Mill House Inn located in East Hampton. We visited for the Hampton Classic, and the location proved to be extremely convenient. Our accommodation was situated on the third floor, which was ideal, featuring a king-sized bed, a television, and a bathroom equipped with a spacious soaking tub. Each morning, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast that included eggs, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, coffee, tea, and more. This meal was available in a cozy dining area or could be served in our room. Additionally, there is a small snack area accessible throughout the day. The Inn itself exudes the charm of a bygone era and is well-maintained. The staff consistently demonstrated friendliness and attentiveness. The Inn is conveniently positioned within walking distance to downtown and other attractions. Overall, it was a delightful stay.

We stayed for three nights at the Mill House Inn and it was an incredible vacation! The room was perfect for a romantic getaway. Room 7 has an amazing bathroom that makes you feel as if you’re in your own personal spa. Breakfast was also delicious and very generously portioned. We had incredible lobster rolls as well as more traditional breakfast fare. Great coffee and side dishes delivered right to your door! Dawn took care of our every need and provided excellent recommendations for where to eat and what to do in the Hamptons. She called ahead and made sure we would be taken care of at our restaurants of choice, too! The snack bar is a very nice amenity and the Inn’s overall vibe was extremely cozy and welcoming. We even spent some time in their back garden around the koi pond despite the cold weather. The location is very convenient; you can walk almost anywhere you might need to go, even to the beach! It was the perfect escape from the city. Thanks, Mill House! We’ll be back :)

Going to the Hamptons is always a great time. From the people, to the beaches, the nightlife and the food, it's a must do on the bucket list. There are a few approaches to experiencing the the East End: over the top, or low key. John Papas Cafe in East Hampton falls beautifully into doing the Hamptons low key. Great staff, a bougie upscale diner atmosphere with really good comfort food and great portions. Had a waffle with strawberries and cream, blueberry pancakes, a side of corned beef hash and fresh squeezed orange juice. Whether your plan is hitting the consistent breaks of Ditch Plains, or just some casual window shopping on Main Street, this is a great way to start it off.

The fluffiest and lightest waffles I've ever encountered. Definitely recommend even if it's to split as a side! Was here during a busy (and rainy) Sunday morning on Columbus Day. The staff was very helpful and did their hardest to get everyone seated in a timely manner without rushing any of the existing guests. The food was delicious and the prices are good esp for the area. Really good coffee!

Cittanuova is a chic local cafe in East Hampton Village that offers a bustling bar scene and an Italian trattoria menu. The restaurant combines European style with Hamptons casual cool, providing a fashionable Milanese-styled dining experience. The decor and cuisine are inspired by Italy, offering contemporary Italian dishes. While the service may not be traditional, the restaurant's ambiance and food quality receive praise.
Many times you read reviews and say not sure. But my wife and I were very happy with our entire night. Our server Danny was absolutely amazing. We asked about the differences between a few entrees and his description was spot on. Was also checking in on us and never had to wait for anything except the check since he wanted us to enjoy our time out. Would go back again.

Perfect place to do to for date night. We enjoyed our meal. Service was good, but it took a while for the food to get to us. We had the chicken Parmesan, pasta with oyster mushroom and Brussel sprouts on the side. The desserts were pretty good too. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of. We got a nice cozy spot for ourselves. We’d Recommend this spot if you’re looking for a place to eat in EH.

Dinner mid-May, slightly off season but one of the better options in EH. All our dishes were delicious and well made. The calamari and zucchini appetizer was lightly fried, fresh and tasty. The eggplant Parmesan was very good. The minestrone was a little disappointing personally, a little thick, almost like tomato sauce, and the flavor was a bit sharp, perhaps too acidic. Not cheap but for the Hamptons not too crazy either. Lovely service.

Tomato Carpaccio! It was love at first sight! Definitely try it! It's a masterpiece, ripe juicy tomatoes and Greek yogurt!

Unfortunately I had to go with the rest of the 1 stars. I sat at the bar on a Thursday night and ordered a pasta and a side of Brussels sprouts. It took the kitchen 50 minutes to produce a bland dish of pasta bolognese (just pasta with minced meat in sauce). The wait was so embarrassingly long that the bartender had to apologize to me multiple times. (He eventually covered my drink). The Brussels sprouts fared slightly better with a good balance of flavors. Overall would not recommend. I can cook the same dishes for much less time and pretty much the same flavor. The saving grace is the professional service I received.

Ordered soup. Had to request bread. No bread on the table. Hm. Had to request another soda refill and got looked at funny. It's not even peak season. Bathrooms are funny. Airplane bathrooms. Does not match the interior and decor of this business. Ordered salmon. It was excellent. Service lacking. Will not return. 4 stars due to all these issues and 5 stars for the food.

Best Italian food in East Hampton. A lot of people compare this one to Sant Ambreous up the street, but I think this one is better. The atmosphere makes me feel like I'm in an old Italian place in the city. Service is really good and efficient. Food is fresh and there are a lot of options to choose from. You can walk in during lunch on most days, but I recommend a reservation if you're coming for dinner. Portions are also fairly large, so I recommend coming hungry or splitting. Can get really busy on weekends, so a little wait is normal. I like the outside seating because it's sheltered from the street with the high bushes and hedges, along with there being a good breeze on summer nights.

We tried arancini, bolognese, some greens and chicken dish. The only thing that stood out was the chicken! It was so flavorful and not dry. Arancini was not great, the marinara was too sour for me. Service was slow and a bit neglected, we tried to get our server so many times and It’s a bit loud inside

Sam's Restaurant is a beloved Italian eatery in East Hampton, known for its long-standing presence and cozy tavern setting. Established in 1947, it has become a local treasure with its dark wood paneling, candlelit tables, and soft Dean Martin tunes playing in the background. The menu features delectable thin-crust pizzas like the one topped with olives, basil, goat cheese, and eggplant Parmigiano.
We recently ordered takeout from Sam's in East Hampton, and it was outstanding. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was full of flavor. The service was equally impressive — friendly, efficient, and attentive, even with takeout. Everything was ready right on time, and the staff made the entire process easy and welcoming. Highly recommend Sam's for a great meal and top-notch service, whether you're dining in or taking out!

Since 1947, is a bit of an old world bar that your dad went to.. I've of cheapest and best options in Hamptons. It's not, fancy.. So didn't here for that.. But great service, old world feel.... Check.

Shh, don't tell the tourists. The food is delicious, big portions, great service. Affordable. Among the last of the excellent local restaurants.

Located on the border between Sagaponack and Wainscott, Townline BBQ is a humble roadside shack serving up delicious Texas-style BBQ. The menu features well-sourced meats like pulled pork, brisket, and St. Louis-style spareribs, all carefully smoked and served with rich housemade sauces. Guests can enjoy a robust selection of cocktails and beers when dining in or opt for takeout meal combo kits.
Real rustic atmosphere, wooded throughout, a separate but connected bar area (with a pool table which was a nice touch), and two additional dining areas. An outdoor patio seating area and another indoor dining section partitioned on the inside the sliding door, camp cafeteria style. Appropriate for the food selections, which tasted ahhhh-mazing by the way! We had the combo for 4 which included four meats: chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket and pork ribs, cornbread, baked beans (which contain pork), and collard greens (which I was told do not). All selections were flavorful. The staff were pleasant, well spoken and the establishment was nice, clean and nicely decorated. Excellent experience.

Stopped in after seeing this place during my commute. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, and the special buttermilk Vidalia onions. The brisket was to DIE for, delightfully tender, absolutely melting apart with a good smokey flavor. The pulled pork was also good, but not on the level of the brisket. The onions were divine, crunchy and almost gooey with a nice tang from the seasonings and the Chipotle mayo. My only gripe was that the serving meat came propped up by a slice of bread. With how costly the food is already, I would've preferred meat instead of filler. $9 only got me about five 4" slices of brisket. Also, the spicy BBQ sauce at the table wasn't spicy at all. Fantastic food if you've got money to throw around and don't mind small portions.

Got the brisket, buffalo fries and pulled pork and banana pudfing. Brisket was great! pulled pork was good, buffalo fries were tasty. The banana pudding wasn't that great. It didn't really have flavor, and was gritty. Service was super friendly, and food was ready quick. I will definitely go back and try the ribs.

We arrived at a non busy time, store almost empty. Yet we stood at the counter for a few minutes before we were even acknowledged. This was our first time there. I don't know if sauce is available, but none offered, my brisket sandwich could have used some. My wife enjoyed her pulled chicken and the person who did help us gave her a taste of Root Beer, which helped her decide to get a delicious cup of it.

Dry as dirt pulled pork, ribs were tender but we think they forgot the rub cuz omg they were sooo bland ! Brisket was ok but also barely had flavor. Corn bread was way over baked and so dry , corn was good. That was literally the ONLY thing that was good. Majorly disappointed. Was def expecting better 😭

Definitely solid BBQ and some of the best I’ve had on the island! Done in Texas style albeit more reserved on the black pepper! Brisket and pork were cooked really well, though the slices I got this time were a mixture of perfect and some dried out edges. Fantastic atmosphere though, in a prime location. Definitely a repeat stop for a reasonably priced delicious meal!
