The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is a grand venue that attracts renowned national music acts, Broadway shows, and other high-profile entertainment. This theater has hosted some incredible Broadway performances with excellent views from every seat in the house. Backstage access for student performances or classes is available with helpful staff members always ready to assist. The center serves as a valuable asset to the local community. Patrons enjoy speedy drink service at affordable prices compared to other concert venues for an unforgettable experience.
I went for the killer of kill tony. I Feel like anywhere in the balconies were the way go. All the staff was very professional and extremely helpful. Thank you.

Absolutely stunning interior. Can't get over how beautiful it was. Perfect location. There's plenty to do within walking distance if you don't want to wait for the parking ramp traffic to subside. Only complaint is there was nowhere to purchase a bottle of water during a graduation ceremony. You'd think they'd make a lot of money if they sold water bottles, soda and simple concession items.
Brittaney M — Google review
Love this venue! Not a bad seat in the house. Every show I have seen is top-notch and so much fun! The staff is so helpful and polite. I highly recommend! You’ll love it!
Tina K — Google review
One of the true treasures of the Fox Valley. Home to many Broadway traveling acts. Seats are comfortable and views from all areas are nice. Nothing is better than the floor seats but definitely would not rule out upper seats. Skip the drink line, drink orders can be placed before arriving or while seated and can be picked up at bar areas, very convenient. Season tickets for Broadway shows saves a fair amount of money more than buying individual tickets.
Colin C — Google review
One of the worst concert experiences I have ever had. Power hungry ushers yelling and shining flashlights throughout the crowd over cell phones. There were no posted signs, no one ever said anything about a cell phone upon entry. Tickets said nothing. At intermission I asked the usher why they were doing this. She told me they found out as the show was starting. So they were enforcing something that no one knew about. The male usher in the 340 section should be fired. Shining lights in people's face who didnt even have phones. Meanwhile, looking out on the main floor, I saw hundreds of people filming and taking pictures. No one stopped them. The funny part was that throughout the show the performers were filming. They were talking about how much they loved the audience and their participation. They didnt care if we had phones. This was just downright awful. Apologies and refunds should be given. Show was great. Theater was awful. Never again.
John W — Google review
Great venue, all seats have a good unobstructed view of the stage. Lots of parking, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Really good acoustics to. Only down side that I see is wheelchair access is very limited. So be sure you specify this when you buy tickets.
Steve V — Google review
I saw Bobby Rush w Kenny Wayne Shepherd! It would be great if there was an area we could stand in, and move in, rather than being seated, for shows like this. Other than that, it's a pretty great venue!
Kevin S — Google review
Loved it! Easy parking right across the street, great seats no matter where you sit, workers were friendly & helpful, line for drinks & bathroom at intermission moved quickly, prices reasonable. Had a great time. Can't wait to come back!

Cafe
Copper Rock Coffee Company is a charming coffee shop that has been serving house-roasted coffees, sandwiches, and gelato for over 20 years. The cozy space features red and cream walls, exposed brick, and copper-topped tables. With a goal to maintain familiarity for returning customers, the cafe has undergone renovations while preserving its distinct atmospheres. In Downtown Appleton, one of its locations offers a spacious brick-walled area with an adjoining gallery room.
Copper Rock has been a vital part of my life for two decades. The owners and employees are great. They remember my regular drink. I used to come here every Monday for mochas with coworkers and then on Fridays for lunch and coffee with my kids and a dear friend. They often have live music and are a supporter of downtown Appleton. My high schooler and her friend love both locations.
Megan M — Google review
A total delight of a coffee shop in downtown Appleton but it’s so much more than just caffeine. Copper Rock has terrific food, pastries, and desserts served all day long. This location is HUGE with ample seating and an inviting atmosphere that begs you to linger and enjoy the large food menu. I’ve visited for breakfast a few times and have enjoyed the generous sized and tasty breakfast sandwiches. It’s hard not to love this place. Whenever I’m in town, I try to swing by for a visit.
Kay — Google review
This is a great spot to grab some coffee, specialty coffee drinks, and more - food, too. Inviting atmosphere. Brick and wood look great. And plenty of seating that was well-spaced apart. (Not cramped.) The Nitro Cold Brew was excellent. And so was the Caramel Creme Latte. When you need a little boost/pick-me-up, and/or food hit, in downtown Appleton, this is your spot.

My boyfriend went here for lunch and also wanted to bring me some food at home. He ordered me the Turkey Avocado sandwich and a lotus energy drink. He specifically asked them to add no ice to the drink because he was taking it to me a couple hours later, and asked that they make my sandwich later, which they agreed to. When they gave him his food, they brought out my drink with ice in it and gave him my sandwich right away. When he finally brought it home, it was the Turkey sandwich, with no red onions or avocado which is the best part and the only reason I ordered it. He said he knew he ordered the turkey avocado because he pulled the image up on his phone and when ordering it he said avocado funny. He also noted that the cashier was not very friendly, so luckily he didn't leave a tip. Also, when he asked to switch out his chips for a different flavor (they have unopened bags of chips on a rack next to the register) they said "we'd prefer if you didn't." Finally, this is unrelated but I've said it before on my review, their espresso drinks are never the correct temperature.
Jessica D — Google review
Sat here on a cold, gray afternoon and enjoyed the decaf while reading my book. It was a lovely vibe sitting on the couch in the front of the shop. When I asked for a refill on the coffee, they had run out of decaf, so the barista offered to make me a decaf americano free of charge. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Nick T — Google review
We were visiting the area and needed a relatively quick breakfast but did not want the typical fast food or big chain restaurants. We were able to place our order the night before to save time in the morning. Everything tasted great, the only issue and why I deducted one star for service is that there were only two people working and they got easily overwhelmed by the morning rush. So even though we ordered the night before, it took 15-20 minutes to get our order. Fortunately we had the extra time.
Matt S — Google review
They have a pretty decent selection of food - multiple vegetarian options that were customizable enough to make vegan. The building and interior are GORGEOUS and it was consistently super busy. Even though they were busy, wait times were decent, and the staff was positive and helpful (I know how overwhelming and overstimulating high traffic stores can be, so major kudos to them)! I'd absolutely recommend if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a local coffee shop.
Erika A — Google review
Very busy place, but with good reason! Amazing coffee, energy drinks, and food! I am so impressed by the selection of drinks and food. I got a croissant sausage and egg sandwich which was so filling and very delicious. I also got the raspberry limeade lift and my friend got the PSL (best PSL I think I’ve ever tasted). I was so impressed by both drinks which tend to be hit-or-miss at many other coffee places I’ve visited. The inside had lots of seating and some games available for guests to utilize. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll make it a point to stop in!

Located in Appleton, Wisconsin, Stone Arch Brewpub is a historic brewpub housed in a building that was originally the first brewery in Outagamie County. The father-and-son team behind the pub were inspired by their time studying abroad in Britain and sought to bring high-quality, handcrafted beer back to their hometown. With a focus on sustainable American fare and microbrews, the pub offers an underground stone cellar atmosphere where guests can enjoy locally sourced, English-inspired pub food.
What a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Maia was beyond amazing, she was so patient and understanding with our questions and concerns with a food allergy. Maia helped us to order the perfect meal. Their Blueberry Wheat beer was the best !! Can't wait to come back soon.

Great place to stop for dinner and drinks before a show at skyline comedy club! They have some fantastic beer options, but their food is excellent. I’ve been blown away with the few entrees I’ve had. The Fried pickles are also goated.

Awesome! The back entrance is really cool, old historic building. Then you descend into an old school German style rathskeller. Beers were all excellent as was the beer cheese dip. Can't wait to return!

Love the literal rock and stone, the dim lighting, and unique layout of this brewery and restaurant in a building that seems among the most sturdy in the world. There's even a comedy club on the 3rd floor. Stone Arch craft brews were very good, the food is hearty and tasty

Awesome historic building. Pleasant "cellar" vibe. Well rounded beer selection. I recommend the Pilsner and the Dry Hopped Saison. Super tasty Shepherds pie. And amazing daily soup specials. Really friendly staff and patrons. Well stocked back bar.

Really cool setting and good food. Beer is pretty good too! First time in the area and was not disappointed. Came during a slow late lunch time, just for a snack, but service was excellent and food was fast and hot. Thai chicken pizza was unique and delicious. Daughter had chicken tenders from apps menu and they were great.
Jim R — Google review
The fried pickles were pretty good, a little juicy but still crunchy. The sweet potato fries were delicious and the Biergarten salad was also delicious - I added chicken. I didn’t love the jalepeno pineapple margarita, it was a little too Smokey flavored for me. The atmosphere was fun and medieval. Our waitress Hannah was very kind and attentive :-)

Great food; the Scotch Eggs were a wonderful appetizer! Fun, old building that's been restored makes for a great ambience. Our server must have been new, because there were a few small errors and reminders needed. However, she had a fun attitude about the night.

Pierce Park is a local recreational facility that offers several amenities including tennis courts and a disc-golf field. The park is currently undergoing renovation, but it holds many fond memories for its visitors. It's a great place to spend time with loved ones and enjoy the beauty of life. While the park has plenty of activities for children aged 3-5, those with younger children may want to consider other parks as there are some safety concerns regarding the proximity of the zip line to the playground equipment.
Beautiful park to have a Yoga Festival.

I’ve lived by Pierce Park for over 40 years. It’s a wonderful resource for the Appleton area. It has a great pavilion for music, a well-maintained playground and plenty of walking paths. And a generous amount of free parking
Nancy M — Google review
Looking for a place to disc golf while in town from Texas found this place. 10/10 compared to where im from. Excellent place to visit beautiful scenery.
Ricky B — Google review
Fun park, zip line is a hit. Could use a toddler-sized area & play equipment but still a lot of fun and one of our 'frequent flyer' playgrounds. Also has a lovely disc golf course!
Renee L — Google review
After many years, I have discovered a part of the park that I did not know existed. Drive down by the Yacht Club and look across the street. There is an unmarked trail going into the woods. It is beautiful! Definitely the road- err, trail - less traveled! At the other end, there are rustic stairs leading up to street level near the corner of S.Mason St and Pine St.
Rick V — Google review
Love the newly redone park! The playground equipment is amazing. Will definitely be a favorite this summer. The zipline is a hit! The unique swings are fun too!
Faith M — Google review
A very nice park with a large playground and disc golf course. Nice spot to take a quick walk or sit for a while.
Craig C — Google review
Pierce Park has so much to offer! It's clean and very well kept. We used to call it the digger park as there were sandy areas and a few fixed mechanical digger toys which the kids could sit on and dig all day. Over the past few years they've revamped the playground area w fresh recycled turf and fun, new updated equipment. One word.. zip line! Host larger events, plan a picnic, have a group or family gathering, listen to live music, take a class, explore the playground, toss a Frisbee or play Frisbee golf, basketball, tennis or other court games! Walk the trails, enjoy the open green spaces or sit in the shade under the park's abundance of beautiful old (and new) trees. It's easy to spend part of your day here.

Southern restaurant (US)
Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere filled with blues music and colorful murals, The Cozzy Corner is a delightful Southern eatery that specializes in mouthwatering BBQ plates, wings, and fried chicken. Since its opening on July 5th, 2012, this family-owned gem has been dedicated to serving up soul food that warms the heart. A must-try is their iconic chicken and waffles—particularly the classic fried chicken paired with Belgian waffles that has become an Instagram sensation for good reason!
Very good experience the staff was really nice the food was excellent. That catfish and sausage was my wife and kids favorite. I liked the catfish and pull pork the most myself. The fried chicken was juicy too all around great food and great price. We ordered the kings platter can feed up to 4 people
Karl C — Google review
Traveling through for work. A local colleague recommended this place as I don’t think there was any soul food places in Appleton, WI. The entire ascetic would lead you to believe that it was black owned but in fact it’s not. Eating soul food my entire life I’m critical of any soul food restaurant. Cluttered, chaotic, but full of blackness which I can appreciate. Service wasn’t great but wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t offer any recommendations or inquire if it was my first time dining here. The food came out hot! Ordered catfish and chicken with 2 sides: Mac and cheese and Red beans and rice. Here’s where authenticity and proximity makes a difference. This is Appleton, WI soul food. Catfish fried too hard and not enough seasoning at all. More breading than meat. The chicken had a unique flavor. It was something they used that I hadn’t tasted in fried chicken before but I couldn’t determine if I liked it or not. However the chicken was old. It wasn’t fried fresh like the fish was. The sides were bad. The Mac and cheese again had something in it that I hadn’t tasted before in Mac and cheese. It tasted like they tried to be different but I didn’t like it. And it was oily. The red beans and rice weren’t cooked down to where it needs to be. Beans need to be cooked down, I didn’t touch them. This is perfect however for where’s it located and the average customer that wants soul food they won’t know the difference or what things are supposed to taste like. I assume if you grew up eating soul food you would need to go to Milwaukee to get something real.
Real R — Google review
Saw this on Google maps while in town visiting and thought I’d give it a try. The decorations, murals , and music were all of black musicians during the blues era. It was amazing to look at and there were many conversation pieces to talk about while waiting for our food. I ordered the Kings platter and my wife ordered pecan chicken and waffles. The kings platter gave me a chance to try a little bit of everything and I really enjoyed the chicken wings and hot sauce. What I didn’t enjoy was the mac and cheese. I can’t pin point what it is but my guess is maybe American cheese? I could be wrong , but it definitely didn’t taste that good. I was told the pecan chicken and waffles were really good though! Overall we’d come back to try what else is on the menu and to hear some good music .
Ed H — Google review
The food here is absolutely amazing, it's like a warm hug for your soul. The service is top-notch, and the food is just delicious. We usually visit on the weekends, and it's quite busy, especially when we come for dinner. Finding parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's street parking only. Last time, we had to park a few blocks away and take a walk to get to the restaurant. What I really appreciate is the restaurant's vibrant paint job and the lively colors inside. It adds a fantastic atmosphere to the dining experience. I can't resist coming back here every time I'm in Appleton; it's just that good.

I have been wanting to go to The Cozzy Corner since Wisconsin foodie featured them on tv. I waited a long time to make it here and it did not disappoint!!! Let’s start with the atmosphere the soul consumes this place as soon as you walk in, beautiful murals, and beautiful people greeting you as you sit down. Next stop is the food! Ohh my lord! The food is over the top! Flavors, the love and the soul that goes into the food makes the name fit. The Cozzy Corner is a place of love, great food and great atmosphere. When you walk in all are welcome and all will not leave hungry. It would be so cool to do a kitchen tour and watch the master in the kitchen throw down and make these amazing creations! We don’t have many soul food places in Wisconsin and boy are we lucky to have this one! I give The Cozzy Corner 1000 stars!

I Door Dashed Cozzy Corner because I was craving comfort food. I’m from Missouri and just hadn’t found anywhere in the area that does comfort food justice, until now. I had the two meat plate. The Cajun catfish was crispy and full of flavor, although a bit too salty. The fried chicken was delicious with a crispy skin. The greens were amazing, but would’ve been better with some pepper vinegar sauce. The macaroni and cheese was to die for! Lastly, the cornbread muffin was moist and tasty. I highly recommend Cozzy Corner! Yum!

Went for the first time with friends and family this week and it was amazing! The Service was super friendly. They catered to our requests to sub some items with no problem at all. And a big hats off to the owner/chef. We ordered the kings platter. The ribs, chicken and sausage were standouts, the sides delicious, everything well seasoned, and the banana pudding is to die for! We’ll definitely be back!
Stompy — Google review
New to the area and was looking for a BBQ joint I can call my new go to place. NOT here. :( I ordered a 2 meat and sides plate. The ribs were old, burnt and inedible. The sausage wasn't sliced which took away from the eating experience. The beans were ok. Nothing to jump up and down about. The nav and cheese was ok as well. Lastly, I tried reaching out to the restaurant via email on their website and also the response form on their website but haven't heard back from them in over a week.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Appleton, Rye Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an upscale dining experience. Since its establishment in 2014, this charming eatery has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The menu showcases New American cuisine that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients transformed into delightful dishes bursting with flavor. With its cozy yet stylish ambiance, Rye provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic date night or a special celebration.
We don't get to Appleton that often. Staying across the street at the Paper Valley Hotel. Glad that we decided to have dinner at Rye (right across the street). Had reservations, got there a little early so we sat at bar and had a couple of their special Old Fashioned. Got great service and terrific drinks (Thanks Clause). Got seated at a nice spot, towards the rear. Spacious and not too noisy. We ordered several of the Sharable plates, Beet Salad, Crab Cakes, and Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Each one was an amazing combination of flavors and textures. Hard to pick a favorite. We had room for dessert, so we tried the special Peppermint Dome. Again, an amazing choice. In total and excellent meal. We would definitely stop again.

We can’t there for my birthday dinner and loved the vibes there. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Might add it to my top favorite restaurants in the area.

My gosh I wish I went here before. My Internship final dinner took me here, and maybe it tasted a bit better because it was free, but it was really good!! The oysters were fire and I got some extra because my friend didn’t like them; I recommend the cooked ones instead of raw. French onion soup was amazing and filling, and my New York steak was perfectly cooked at medium-rare, although the rest of my party’s steak was quite a bit more rare than they asked for (medium). Overall great service and experience.

Not a big fan of things being fried in seed oils, but Rye does a nice job adding class and sophistication to the dining experience in downtown Appleton. Would have been good to finish with an espresso, but all they had was coffee 😞
Jason B — Google review
I thought that our dining experience at Rye was just as expected. They have an intimate atmosphere but a little too dim once our food was served. The dishes had a great presentation and really needed some more light to truly appreciate them. We had the oyster service, which had great pairing flavors, whether raw or baked. I think a little more attention could be paid to the shucking process, as we did have to pick out several shell pieces. We also had the squash ravioli and seared scallop entrées. Both were very well composed dishes. We will be back to try other menu/featured items. I highly recommend making a reservation at Rye.

Amazing food here! I had for starters the cheese curds, risotto balls, and crabcakes. For dinner, the fillet of beef and dessert the goat cheese cheesecake. Really cannot go wrong with anything here.

This place is really nice, the wait staff are very good. The food is literally some of the best food you'll ever have, the steak is perfection and the chicken marsala is to die for. I will say it's a bit small, there wasn't really any place to take cute pictures except in front of the sign outside. The prices are good though for the quality of the experience it was 100% worth it, I would go again and I definitely recommend.

The bar and grill Clubhouse Kitchen & Bar is not your typical hotel sports bar. The food looked outstanding, although I didn't try it myself. The staff, especially Melissa, provided exceptional service that enhanced the overall experience. The atmosphere was fantastic and the beer selection was impressive. With billiards, darts, and an indoor golf simulator, this place goes beyond being just a lobby bar. Located within a hotel, it offers ample space with numerous TVs to enjoy sports action.
The Clubhouse has served our team as a gathering place during meetings in Appleton for many years. Great bar food and friendly service are always front and center. Christin and Maliyah are fantastic bartenders.

I had went out to eat with my significant other around 5pm on a Saturday. We had never been to this place before and figured we would give it a try. The place had very few people. We arive, go inside, wait by the sign that said to wait for seating. After about 8 minutes without acknowledgment, we decided to seat ourselves. We sat down at a table, which was fine aside from it being very wobbly. After another 10 minutes, we finally get a waiter to get us some drinks. By the way the drinks are super expensive. I chose to have a water, I'm not going to fork over a 20 dollar bill for a cocktail at a sport bar. We had placed our food order. The waiter Simon was very friendly. Me and my SO had ordered the breaded chicken sandwich. When we got the sandwiches the chicken on them was about half the size of a normal chicken patty. The chicken was tough and didnt even cover the bun. We had kindly asked the waiter to have them re made because it was definitely not worth 20 dollars for the sandwich which we received. Simon promptly took them back to have them re made. When we received the new sandwiches it wasn't any better. Needless to say we will not be back ever. Edit: As we got our check we noticed the chefs were esting our food that we sent back.

Not one to leave negative reviews but after the manager or owner followed us out of the establishment and confronted us about poor tipping is where I draw the line. Very unprofessional and very childish. Me and a group of 7 walked in around 8:45 didn't get helped till we walked up to the bar to get our drinks and bring them to our tables. Another 15 mins went by for her to get to us and we gave her some slack as it was 1 cook and 1 bartender but there was a half full bar and maybe 3 tables not to busy at all. Waited almost a hour for food that half our table didn't even want to eat but had no other options as its past 10 already. Was very unhappy with everything here but insanely unhappy with how unprofessional how the manager or owner acted and told us his memory is better then our and good luck because we didn't satisfy him with tippingn enough! So my advice make this your last priority if you can help it

I'm not really one to leave negative reviews, but due to the price vs. quality of this place I figured I'd share my experience. My friend and I sat for upwards of 30mins to even be spoken to. I had to go up to the bar to clarify whether someone comes to the table or if we order there. Multiple families left during this time due to how poor the service was. We then waited another 10-15mins to be waited on, 30mins to receive two cokes, and it took about 45mins to get our food, which was lukewarm due to sitting in the window for far too long. We were not checked on (and the restaurant was not busy). The food was wildly over priced for the quality. Appleton offers tons of delicious places, I highly recommend avoiding this one.

I had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread it was pretty good, and the cheese portions were very good. I would have liked to have just a little more ranch on the flatbread. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. Would be nice of have a better salad option.

Being this restaurant attached to the hotel we we not expecting for the food to taste so amazing! I know Wisconsin is always great for their burgers but this by far is probably one of my favorite places for burgers!🍔 Certainly if you’re in the hotel and need something to eat this place will not disappoint!

Stopped in tonight, place was not super busy. Waited quite awhile for two burgers. Service was good. Burgers were super dry and tasted burnt. Fries were good.

Houdini's Escape Gastropub is a vibrant and spacious eatery that pays tribute to the legendary illusionist Harry Houdini, who spent part of his childhood in Appleton. Established in 2013, this unique gastropub features an inviting atmosphere adorned with photos and posters celebrating Houdini's legacy. Guests can indulge in a delightful array of New American snacks and entrees while sipping on vintage cocktails or choosing from over 160 local craft beers.
This was my first time going here though my parents come often since it's a favorite place of theirs and I can see why. Everything was amazing here, the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff, the food, all of it. The specialty cocktails in particular were amazing, and now I have decided I need more mango chunks on my pulled pork sandwiches in the future because my meal here was that good. We sat at the bar because it was a little too windy for the patio when we went, but really there doesn't appear to be a "bad place" to sit for your meal. I will definitely be coming here more often in the future, and hopefully bringing the bf next time!

I went there for drinks and a bite with some friends and it was absolutely delicious! I had the fish tacos and they were out of this world. The waitress was friendly as can be. They were pretty busy which mDe the service kind of slower but they did the best with what they could and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We went for brunch on Sunday at 10:30 with a group of 6. We were seated immediately and the hostess was very nice. She seated us in the back room because it was warmer back there which I thought was very nice. The table was a little small for a group of 6 but we made due. The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend the chicken and waffles if they have that special when you are there. Another of our party had the Wisconsin Benedict and she would highly recommend it. Definitely skip the orange juice and go for the mimosa though...my orange juice was $5 so I'm fairly certain the mimosa was the cheaper of the options. Overall, the ambiance was very nice, we had excellent service and our food was very good. We will be back!

My brother and I came in on a Saturday night when it was super busy, but the staff was still attentive and super friendly. It didn't take long at all to get drinks, and our food came out fast. Phenomenal chicken sandwich.

Highly recommend! My husband & I had dinner here - it was fantastic!! We had the homeade chips, they were crunchy and delicious. For my meal I had the white chicken chili & Triple Pork Cuban. Both were awesome! The chili was seasoned perfect and the sandwich was deliciously filling. Our waitress was phenomenal - very polite and timely. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely be going back!!

First visit. Sat on the patio, which was lovely. The whole place has an inviting, clean, modern vibe. I had the cheesesteak sandwich with risotto and a cup of French onion soup. My wife had the banh MI sandwich. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were flavorful and fresh. This was a great first impression. Recommended.

A little on the pricier side but the food is great and the draft list is exceptional! The atmosphere, the open kitchen, and the service definitely makes this a worthwhile visit when in Appleton.

Beautiful bar, high prices and decent service. They are selling excellence but delivering mediocrity. My salad was drowning in dressing and the short rib sandwich was ok but impossible to eat without falling apart and making a mess. The room was beautiful.

If you're looking for a fantastic family outing, Funset Boulevard is the place to be! This vibrant entertainment center offers an array of activities that cater to children of all ages. From thrilling laser tag battles and bumper car races to engaging arcade games and a delightful carousel, there's never a dull moment. Mini-golf enthusiasts will also find their haven here, along with options for mini bowling.
I would take my for kids here 25 years ago. Sunset has had a much needed recent face-lift. It has all new game machines! Everything appears so clean. It has the playground, train, lasertag, carousel, bowling, bumper cars and lots of food and games! We've also had a lot of birthday parties here! There is a new card system which will cover the cost of everything, except for food and drink. Don't forget to plan on a movie before, or after the fun! The one thing that I was disappointed with was the play area for toddlers only was being used by older rough kids and the little ones were at risk. This should be monitored much closeer by staff for safety reasons. Some parents just don't care about rules and need a firm hand

This place was truly fun, but there was just a couple things that kind of stick to us/our group. first of all as soon as we walk in the door, we see an unsupervised toddler running around. The toddlers parents were waiting for these teenagers to probably get their food.. speaking of the teenagers… we noticed teenagers were extremely rare to find there. Except for the ones at the front desk. I do not recommend coming around 2:00 as we simply noticed there is only one teenager at the front counter. We literally had to say it” hello sir, excuse me”! This teenager looked like he did not clearly enjoy the working condition/being the only worker/having so many kids waiting for him to do things. Let me just let you know that as soon as we got in it took about 5 to 7 minutes to just wait in line to get the tickets. Of course we got the basic pass because we don’t really need to do golfing or anything. But all of a sudden they make an announcement while we’re in the play place that laser tag is now closing, and that the last round would happen. But of course, since the speakers weren’t loud enough, no one heard them and they just close without any notice or warning. I also have a little issue with some of these games.. the cards are very scam/cheap type. and I instantly ran out just playing a couple games. on the other hand, I guess it was pretty nice because at the end we got 86 tickets. you might be wondering, what did we get well you can get a ninja a little alien attached with a little parachute and a frog toy, which was kind of like the ones that you can just bounce anyway in the background we decided to go on things like the carousel, the play place and my favorite of all the bumper cars the only thing that was truly wrong with the bumper cars was just three little things, but at the end of the day they don’t matter that too much. but the lady swore in front of little kids too the one that works at the bumper cars. The next thing what’s the bumper cars were a little bit too old I don’t know how old the places, but they looked pretty ran down and I’m pretty concerned because the last thing is there was no seatbelt meaning it was kind of like a strap it and it’s a risky thing. The play place is cool. There is some fun spots, but other than that it is extremely dirty and no parents are watching their children whatsoever. Also, most of the kids who go in the zone for toddlers look like little kids when they clearly don’t in my eyes because I know what a five-year-old looks like and most of the kids could have a conversation that a kid over four and there was some little kids that looked around three or two but other than that yeah the bathrooms are a little weird and it’s a bit hard to close them overall give it a 2.5 but for the sake of it, let’s give you guys three

We just held my daughter’s 4th birthday at Funset Boulevard and it was great! A little pricey but for we had about 30 people which came out to about $15 a person. That’s for pizza, cake, soda, and all you can ride rides and the jungle gym. We had the party room for 2 hours, got to come in early to set up, and the kids could stay after for as long as they wanted! We’d definitely do it again 🙂
Sarah O — Google review
This spot is a great choice for a family outing, offering kid-friendly fun, good food, and enjoyable play areas. However, the costs can add up quickly. Food prices are on the higher side, and game credits range from 6 to 15 per play, meaning they can run out fast. There’s also now a $1 charge for the game card, a fee that wasn’t there in the past. The place isn’t as busy as it once was. As digital entertainment continues to dominate, experiences like this are becoming less popular and financially sustainable. Sadly, it feels like another business fading away in the changing times.
Meng T — Google review
This place is literally the worst place to go with kids. The only good part was the mini golf. The person we had to deal with was Jenny or Jenna. She seemed like she was only there to conversant with Caitlyn. They both seemed like they didn’t want to be there. They had an attitude and belittled me when I had questions about wheelchair accessibility. The prices for the food was very pricey. But the food was okay besides the burger not being cooked all the way.
Andy O — Google review
We love coming to Funset! Playground, arcade games, train rides, carousel. Decent prices, lots of new upgraded games lately. It's darker lighting than it once was in the play area. Overall, always a fun time here!
Sara V — Google review
Great place to take the family with activities for all ages. It was fun reliving my childhood frown when I used to come here for vithday parties. We purchased the basic bracelets for my sons to have fun on the carousel, bumper cars, train ride, and massive playground. We grabbed the pizza deal and purchased the token deal. It was nice that they were less expensive if you got food. 100 tokens for $13 got all four of us about an hour of arcades, which is a great value. The only critique I have is that there is close to a sixth of the arcades that are broken. We will be stopping back for more family fun.
Paul F — Google review
We have gone here almost every year around Christmas for a family fun night. We enjoy playing laser tag the best. Their bumper cars are also a great time and even pretty young kids go on...42 inches. The pizza is alright, nothing super special. The arcade games are good but they don't give out many tickets. And the prizes seem to be a bit high in tickets and a little too cheap. But still a fun place to go :)

Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium is a superb 5,500-seat baseball arena that serves as the home ground for Wisconsin Timber Rattlers minor league team. Beyond its primary purpose, this field has the potential to be utilized for various other events. Despite soaring temperatures reaching nearly 90 degrees, finding a shaded area under the main stand was hassle-free. The stadium's cleanliness is highly commendable; even the restrooms are immaculate.
Great place to bring your family. They have birthday kids that throw out the first ball. Silly games during intermission and flying objects into the stands from t-shirts to tires, to even bratwurst. At night they have fireworks. Very nice team store and reasonable prices except for this little bitty 1 x 2 1/2 packet of sunscreen if you forgot yours. That was $3.00 and it wouldn't cover my granddaughters one leg much less two, so don't forget the sunscreen.

It was a very fun experience. It was my first Minor league game. The TimberRattlers won, so we all went home happy. The stadium is nice and clean, the staff is very friendly I guessed the attendance correctly when they asked on the screen. We had a very good time. 10/10 would recommend going.

I took a group of 15 people to a ballgame here and it was great. Plenty of parking, friendly staff. We had seats just dehind the visitor dugout, and everyone said it was really close to the field. At the concession stand we had a little bit of a wait, but I'm fine with that because they make your food after your order. The food was hot and delicious. Prices are very affordable. I would definitely recomend this venue to anyone, and I will do this again my group.

One of the best date nights ever! Staff was so friendly. They even offered to take a photo of us at the end! So sweet. Great bar selection, nice variations of games. Enjoyed the other games like jumbo jenga and others after. A lot more fun packed into that building than just axe throwing! We will happily be back.

We've been several times now and it's so much fun! The staff has always been amazing. They have gluten-free drinks available in addition to a variety of beer selections. You can order Stucs and have it delivered. We went with our adult children and have gone several times with friends. It makes for a great date night, family fun, or fun with friends. At first, I was worried that we wouldn't be able to hit the target, but they teach you, and it's pretty easy to figure out through trial and error what works for you. We also love playing Hammerschlagen. Try it!!!

Our family came here for our daughter's 25th birthday. We had a blast. The service was great. Explained all safety rules and methods of throwing axes. Even offered to take our group photo. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, almost had the place to ourselves which was nice. Looking forward to going back.

We stopped in to check out axe throwing, and ended up spending like 5 hours here. We opted for the axe throwing and escape room bundle. After our allotted time of axe throwing, we hung out playing cornhole, and darts for awhile grabbing some drinks before we did the escape room. Escape room was was not overly difficult, I'd say the perfect difficulty where we still had to think to figure out the puzzles, but it wasn't so hard we were lost. Game master was very good, giving us small clues when we almost had the answer, but just needed a nudge. Afterwards we ended up staying a bit longer just grabbing drinks and hanging out. Very nice place, and staff was great.

Lots of fun with a group. Recently went on a work team building event and had a great time. They give you instruction on how to throw and how to run the games. It is like bowling for a new age with more flannel and you don’t have to take your shoes off. They have lots of space for a large groups, nice bar (cans only for safety reasons) and fun side games. Highly recommend. This is blast that is guaranteed ti make memories. They even have lots of tvs so you can watch the big game and chill.

Wonderful and delicious. A great atmosphere with a nice selection of wines, whiskeys, and beer. The food is absolutely fabulous and the best egg lemon soup out there. We have been going to this restaurant on and off for the last year. I called to make a reservation and left a message on the answering machine as they were closed. The return call was the most rudest conversation I've ever had with any restaurant. The woman was condescending, snarky, and mean. She told me they will not take reservations between 7:00 and 7:30 which were the time spots I needed. She told me that I could only do 6:30 or 8:00. Those times would not work for us. I told her I didn't understand why they couldn't take reservations during that time and she explained that that they could not as they would not have tables because of the reservations from 6:30. If they have reservations available at 6:30 they could just make one for seven or 7:30. Not a chance apparently. So I asked if I could just walk in during those times if they don't take reservations and she said no I can't very rudely. (We have come here between those times and the restaurant is half empty) She explained to me that she doesn't understand how I don't understand how they don't let anybody in during those times. I was speechless. Absolutely speechless. The food is very good which is why I didn't leave a one star. I do not know the lady's name as she did not give it but if this is the way the staff is trained, I would avoid this restaurant. There are many other fine establishments you can go to in the Appleton area without the condescension and arrogance.

WOW this place is good. The inferno deep dish was 100% worth it. The cheese bread is incredible and the Spotted Cow topped it all off so well. I don't remember our servers name but he was such a great guy and very attentive. I absolutely recommend this place.

While visiting Appleton, we had planned on having lunch at another pizza restaurant. But when we got there, there wasn't a single car in the parking lot. On a Saturday. At lunch time. Even though the sign in the window said open. So we got on our phones to search out a different place to go. That's when we found Stuc's. The reviews were good and it was fairly close to where we were. So away we went, off to Stuc's. GREAT decision! We had the veggie pizza on thin crust and added pepperoni. Unlike most pizza I've had, they lay the pepperoni down first and cover it with the sauce, cheese and all the other ingredients. The pizza was so tasty this way, and the crust was thin and very crisp, just the way I like it. Our waiter, Oliver, was very personable and attentive, and made our visit memorable. Next time I am in Appleton and wanting pizza, I will definitely go back to Stuc's!

Good mood food indeed! I have never been disappointed with any meal here and can't stop singing their praises! Went outside of my normal pizza and tried the Chicken Pompeii pasta, huge amount of mouth watering chicken with tomato sauce, cheese, basil, sun dried and roma tomatoes and pasta. My Aunt had the classic spaghetti with meatballs and Italian sausage and ordered a basket of bread. Our server Oliver was fantastic and was the only one working the dining area and handled the busy dining room like a champ! Oh and if you're wanting desert you must try their carrot cake, they even have some gluten free desert available in their bars. We both have enough food for 2 more meals. Thank you Stucs for another great meal and fantastic service!

We ordered the fresh bread, which was delicious! The meatballs were also very good. Our pizza was a little spicy but delicious. The German chocolate cake dessert was probably the best part. Thanks for making our trip to Appleton a great experience!

We've been there several times (both locations). The service is fantastic. The pizza is drool-worthy. The sauce is just slightly spicy, which makes it burst with flavor. Can we talk about the carrot cake? No we can't - cuz I want it all for myself! And we get dollars back on each visit through our T-Mobile dining rewards. Lo e this place.

The pizza was outstanding. We ordered both the hand tossed and the thin crust. We preferred the crunchy thin but they were both delicious. The sauce was unlike any we’ve ever had and we loved it. The service was wonderful and we ended our meal with the most delicious homemade cookies.

It provides an enjoyable dining experience for families, with reasonably priced meals. One can relish dishes like chicken with portabello mushrooms or mouthwatering steaks. Texas Roadhouse at Appleton has good food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Visited on a Saturday evening and pretty much the restaurant was packed. We were quickly seated ay a booth by a cheerful lady and soon our server followed. Ordered the Tropical mocktail, a beer, salmon grilled, shrimp grilled and a Rib. The mocktail were only ice which was a bummer. Salmon was good and the ribs was nice too. Rib needed more sauce and so did ny mac and cheese. Decent pricing on the menu. A good place to hangout with your buddies.

I took my family for my son's birthday and treated him to a large prime rib. Unfortunately, the experience for us that night was not great. The prime rib was mostly fat, and the only acknowledgment he got from the server when he excitedly told her it was his birthday was, "Oh, good." This was supposed to be a special treat for a special day. Instead, it was just another dinner. If my son's meal had been as good as he'd hoped it would be, or if the server offered him ice cream or sang, I imagine his feelings that night might have been different. I'm not sure I'll be bringing my family back to this restaurant again.

Good service, place was packed. But if I go to a steak place, I expect a good steak. Two of us ordered medium rare and got medium well, borderline well done. The pic is the most pink I could find. Other person got a burger, ordered medium; got very well done. Baked potato was so salty I couldn’t finish it.

I'm diabetic and I asked the waitress if I could get ribs without BBQ sauce and the answer should have been NO. Even after the waitress had to go ask, the first order came out with BBQ sauce on it. They replaced the order with one that didn't have liquid sauce on it, but they failed to recognize that the ribs were glazed with BBQ sauce, so even though they weren't wet they were still loaded with sugar. I had to switch plates with my wife so I wouldn't get sick. It's pretty much unforgivable when a restaurant has a complete disregard for food safety. We did the online waitlist before leaving home. We were told 20 minute wait when we arrived. It ended taking almost an hour to be seated, so what was the point of the online waitlist? After we were seated and ordered our food we watched 3 other tables be seated, eat and leave while we waited for our food, then my order was wrong. I'd understand if we were a big party, but it was only 3 of us. Also, while we were waiting we watched a father with his young daughter at the table next to us, have to take her to the bathroom right after his food arrived. When he'd returned with her their table was cleared and someone else was seated there. It was heartbreaking to watch. I've been to Texas Roadhouse before, end even though the service hasn't been stellular it usually okay. This time I wouldn't even call it mediocre. Overall it was a terrible experience. The management and all the staff should be ashamed of themselves.

We joined the wait list online before we arrived at the restaurant and then we only waited a couple of minutes before being seated! Food was great and a good value for the money. Clean overall, but lampshades were a bit dusty (wouldn't want the dust to fall into the food). Would definitely come back!

Pizza restaurant
Toppers Pizza is a pizzeria chain that offers unique toppings, including wings. They serve their pizzas either at the counter or through delivery. The quality of their sauce and ingredients is unbeatable, making them the best pizza in town. In case of any mishaps, the general manager Trevor goes above and beyond to rectify the situation and ensure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend giving Toppers Pizza a try or giving it another chance as you won't be disappointed.
This location catered our wedding last month and it was so awesome! They did such a fantastic job. There were about 72 pizzas that were split into 2 deliveries - we had a small family meal before all the guests arrived so this worked out perfectly for us. Both deliveries arrived on time, all the pizzas were exactly what we ordered and they were all warm. We had purchased large pizza bags to keep the pizzas not currently being eaten warm in the meantime - which worked super well. Also, can't say enough good things about their vegan pizzas, thank you for providing options! Everyone said how delicious the pizza was and how it was such a dope idea to have pizza as the wedding meal. We obviously agree! It totally fit our vibe, and who doesn't love pizza? Highly recommend this location! The people that work there are awesome, the owner was great to work with in getting this large order all set up, and the pizza is delicious! They even gave us a wedding card! So incredibly thoughtful! Thank you for making our day special! (photos by Rankin Photography)

I’m a third party Courier. Please be advised that it says no where when accepting a order that a hot bag is required it only says it when you enter the store and that you will get turned away if you don’t have one. We understand the necessity of having a hot bag but not all courier are fortunate to have one. This turn causes a massive delay in getting the customers to the their location and also negatively impacts the courier directly.

Placed an online order for delivery, received triple topper stix with no toppings, just dough. Called the store, soon as I explained the toppers stix, they knew who I was right away by name from the order, said they thought it was weird. The employee I spoke with was cool, pointed out that the order did say no toppings which he was absolutely right that it was my mistake. What gets me, is if you didn't think it was right to begin with and the phone number is on the order, at what point does common sense kick in? Manger fails on this one, the wording on their boxes is untrue aswell.

Pizza was cold. The time It stated it would be done and time I arrived had been 20 mins. I got there and it was already under warmer but when we took a slice out approximately 5 mins later it was cold and wings did not taste like usual. I left a tip even though I picked it up. I mean the employees get wages already correct? I don't know why I'm asked if I would like to leave a tip when I walk in there to get the pizza if it's carry out and I have used my time and gas to get it if they are getting above minimum wage as it is.

I am a Pizza Hut girl. My husband has asked me to order Toppers with him for a really long time. I finally caved, even though their prices are a little more expensive and their deals are not as good as Pizza Hut. We ordered a grilled chicken & banana pepper pizza, a sausage & pepperoni pizza, and upgraded our bacon topperstix to triple with 3 sauces. Our food was delivered (contactless) promptly and when we opened it we didn't have any sauces. I immediately called the store and asked about our sauces. The gentleman that answered the phone asked for my name and confirmed my order. He said the driver would be right back out with my sauces. We began to enjoy our dinner and each had a couple slices of pizza. A half hour went by and still no delivery driver. I called the store back and another gentleman answered and said it was already delivered. We checked the door and there wasn't anything there. Then he changed his story and said our order said no sauces, which is not true. Then he got an attitude with me when I asked "Can I please have some sauce?" And he said they would send him out right away. They WERE delivered almost immediately. I am not pleased with my first experience ordering from Toppers.

Vince Lombardi's Steakhouse offers a wide selection of delicious steaks and an extensive wine menu in a classic, wood-paneled setting adorned with football memorabilia. Customers rave about the exceptional food, impeccable hospitality, and incredible service provided by the servers. The staff even goes above and beyond by presenting the specials in an impressive manner. This steakhouse is also a haven for Green Bay Packers fans who can bask in the football-themed ambiance.
Lombardi’s Steakhouse, nestled within the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel, is a true culinary gem! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional wait staff, who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They guided me through the menu with enthusiasm and made fantastic recommendations. The steaks were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return! Highly recommended!

Beautiful scenery for a very plain gastronomic experience. We were so excited when we sat down. The atmosphere was exceptional and unique, being like in one of those British clubs, jazz in the background, and Gregorio our waiter very friendly and fun. The menu presented amazing food options but we ended up waiting too long for the food that showed up and was like frozen food quality. Served cool not entirely hot and fresh and some plates really lacked substance. The wine not excellent but for the price ($90) on twist tap bottles. In general plain food and wine at outrageous prices in a superb atmosphere is what you’ll find here.

Food was phenomenal, I had the lobster Mac n cheese and the serving was huge. Easily two people could’ve eaten out of it and still take leftovers. The service was a bit slow, especially when it was time to get the check. 30+ mins to get it. Let’s just say that he was lucky a gratuity was added to the bill. Food was great, but it was a one and done experience for me and I’m sure for the rest of the party on that table.

A group of 10 of us traveled out from MN for a bachelor party weekend. This was our nice night out dinner and every one was very excited. The vibes are top notch for a steakhouse and a football fan. The bartender was amazing and very friendly. We got seated at our table and thats when the fun stopped. Our server Debbie was very passive aggressive right out of the gate. She seemed very annoyed to have to serve us, even tho the restaurant was near empty. Debbie treater our table as if we were all ordering waters and sharing cheap apps. She gave vibes that she hates her job. Before we even got our food, she was asking how we wanted checks and was giving a lot of attitude about how long it was going to take her to split checks. It was a total vibe killer with her attitude. Again, excellent food. Granted it took 2 hours start to finish, but Debbie killed the experience for our entire group.

We had Sarah as our server and she was outstanding along with the food. The highlight was Sarah’s knowledge of speciality drinks and wine selection. Last, our Lava Cake desert selection was spectacular! Only downside was the hostess, who was not very welcoming and seemed to be watching tv when we arrived. When interrupting the show, she was a little put out. Also, the first table she gave was by, what appeared to be, the bathroom. Anyway, Sarah made up for the difference.

Great Atmosphere! Very friendly Staff, our waitress was Kim D. The steaks were amazing, tender flavorful and juicy. The sides, Brussel sprouts and a baked potato were equally as good. The desserts were decent, but didn’t feel they were worth 100% of the price. Dessert prices were also missing from their dessert menu. All in all I would give them a fair 4/5

We love escape rooms and chose to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary escaping (or attempting to escape) the Houdini room. Marie was our game master and she was INCREDIBLE from the moment we walked in, to starting the game, helping us along the way, and all the way to the end. She was friendly and so fun! The game was the perfect amount of a challenge and kept us on our toes the entire hour. We will be back! Thank you, Marie for being incredible and making our night extra awesome ❤️!

We had an absolute blast tonight escaping Film Noir! It was a super fun challenge. Our group cannot thank our game master Jessica enough for putting up with us! We definitely asked for lots of clues and she was a good sport about us going crazy at the very end of the hour. Amazing date night activity. We definitely will be back!

My family and I visited this location while in town for a bowling tournament. Our game master Dalton was the best. He was so friendly , funny , as well as a wonderful game master. He was even kind enough to write a separate card for my 7 year old after she got scared while in the room. If we have time we would love to come back again.

Our recent escape room outing with department was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the staff (Darby and Anthony) made us feel welcome and excited for the challenge ahead. The room itself was well-designed, clever, and just the right level of difficulty to keep us all engaged. It was so rewarding to see everyone’s strengths come into play—some of us were great at spotting patterns, others at solving puzzles, and a few had the perfect knack for thinking outside the box. We communicated, collaborated, and laughed a lot along the way. This experience gave us a fun and memorable break from the usual office routine. I highly recommend for any group looking to strengthen teamwork while having a great time!

Went with my sisters and brother-in-law‘s for my sister‘s birthday, first time for all of us. We did the class of 1984. It was so much fun! We didn’t figure it out in time but we were close going back again this month! Jessica was our game master, she was great! We all went to second time for my birthday this time and did the evolution of games. Of course we didn’t make it out. We needed five more minutes, but it was fun trying Lexi and Seth were great game Masters.

Erb Park is a recreational area in the city that has two seasonal swimming pools and sports courts, as well as an ice-skating rink. It recently hosted a swim meet with teams from Michigan and Wisconsin, which was enjoyable. However, parking may be limited in this area. The seating arrangements were satisfactory, while the facilities buildings and rooms appeared to be well-kept and attractive. Furthermore, the pool was clean and provided quick swims for children.
We recently spent a day at Erb Park, and we absolutely loved it! This place has something for everyone, whether you're just looking to relax or want a fun adventure with the kids. The playground is awesome! There are swings, climbing nets, and slides that kept the kids entertained for hours. Everything is really well-designed, with a soft rubber surface that made us feel a lot better about letting the little ones run around. It's definitely one of the best playgrounds we've been to in a while. The park itself is beautifully laid out with plenty of open green space and big shady trees, which made for a perfect spot to sit and relax. There are benches everywhere, so it’s easy to find a comfy spot to watch the kids or just take in the surroundings. We also noticed there are lots of picnic tables and a covered area, which makes it a great place for a family picnic. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus when you’ve got kids with you. You can really tell that the city takes pride in keeping this place nice. Whether you're here for some quiet time, a picnic with friends, or letting the kids burn off some energy, Erb Park really delivers. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Appleton Memorial Park is a spacious outdoor space that features ample fields for soccer and baseball, as well as a pavilion and picnic area. Visitors can enjoy the park's interactive trail with pages from a book to read every few feet. The playground is particularly noteworthy, thanks to its rubber ground which provides safety and cleanliness. Additionally, the park boasts several amenities such as an archery range, smaller playgrounds, bathrooms, trails, gardens and scenic pond views.
This is an awesome park. Big with many things to do, walk, play, fish, or just chill. Park is clean. Playground is huge, great play area for kids. Has a pavilion with restroom but is a walk from the playground. Plenty of parking. Fishing is not bad, caught two bass from there on a plastic worm. Can get busy, especially around the playground and pond. Watch your kids, it’s not a drop off center 😊.

i visit this park several times a year. this is my kids' favorite park in Appleton. big park with playground, pond, hill, and flower garden on the south half, and baseball diamonds on the north half. the pond is stocked annually with rainbow trout and they are fun to catch despite their small size, and there are plenty of other small panfish to be caught from the little fishing dock as well. my kids love flying kites on top of the hill in the summer, and sledding in the winter. i give 4 stars because the playground keeps getting torn down and rebuilt, they're all great but each time slightly less fun than the one before, so i wouldnt be surprised if the current one gets replaced in just a couple years again.

Sai Ram Indian Cuisine is a refined dining destination offering a wide range of Indian dishes, including a lunch buffet and an assortment of craft beers and wines. Established by Krishna and Kumari Chalasane in the 1990s, the restaurant has evolved into a popular venue with a focus on healthier food options and exceptional customer service. While initially known for its buffet, Sai Ram now emphasizes slowing down the dining experience to provide high-quality fare.
Our food and service were stellar, our chili paneer appetizer was demolished quickly and we loved our lamb vindaloo and koorma, the lamb was suuuper tender and flavorful. I've been coming here for about a decade now and I've never been disappointed. Our server was super friendly and kind to both of us at the table too, despite how busy she seemed to be. I wish I could remember her name to shout her out! Maybe if those at the restaurant see this, they can find out and commend her? She complimented my eyeliner specifically and I was with a red-haired man! Hope that's enough info lol

Good place to go to if you are looking to cater your Indian food craving! I find it is good to have this place in the region besides the Indian restaurant which is in Green bay. We had the lunch meal and it was alright, the chicken vindaloo definitely needs a better taste, seems like a lot of added food color and the spices level were quite low (seems like it was made to cater the American taste rather then the original, as the original vindaloo would never taste like this). Although the some of the other items were good! We need to try other things on the menu next time to see how it is.

Delicious, authentic Indian food 🔥 Probably the best in the Appleton area. My tandoori chicken was SIZZLING when they served it. I loved the flavors, and the spiciness was spot on. Thank you. I'm going to come back for more!

Had very great service. First time eating here. First time trying Indian cuisine out. Our server explained the food dishes very well 😋 Also asked us how spicy we wanted our plates I went for a 3 on the Curry Chicken. It was just the right amount of spice for me. The favor in the Sauce Wow made me speechless Very nice place to take the family out.

The restaurant was also really busy so she was absent sometimes but I totally get and understand having a ton of table to take care of! Atmosphere was pretty good too. It smells amazing in here with spices! Overall I definitely would recommend this place!

I went here during the evening after a conference and it is phenomenal food. I've been to other Indian restaurants where the lamb tikka masala is very tough and not worth ordering. Not so here! We also tried the shrimp masala which was also great! The service was a little slow which I hate to even knock it because I can see them intentionally not wanting to crowd you while you're eating, but our food had arrived and I was still waiting on my mango juice. Honestly though, a minor gripe. I would not hesitate to eat here again! An excellent restaurant with excellent pricing.

GingeRootz Asian Grille is a lively dining spot that showcases a delightful array of Asian cuisine, drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of China, Thailand, Korea, and Japan. The restaurant boasts a colorful and contemporary atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. While many dishes are well-received—like their crispy Crystal Shrimp with its creamy sauce—some guests have expressed concerns about certain offerings, particularly sushi made with pre-packaged rice that lacks freshness.
We whipped in on a major holiday and got a table right away. The staff was lovely and attentive. The chicken satay with peanut sauce was down our gullets in seconds. My son even used the lettuce garnish to scoop up the remaining sauce. His steak dish and my beef bulgogi went right down the hatch as well. The place was clean and upscale, and the location was handy, too. Glad our first choice was closed that day. Put your root down, and go to town.

We got there about half after they opened and no one was around. We waiting for a while before anyone realized we were there. The calamari was the best I've had in awhile, but the t Tofu Hot Pot said it would be spicy, it was not... AT ALL, it was pretty bland. My boyfriend's Kung Pao Trio was decent but I did not expect the sweetness in the sauce. I think his dish had a bit more flavor than my dish. The ambiance was very nice though, soft music and open space. However when more people showed up, the sound bounced off the walls.

Fantastic experience dining here with my book club. We had a terrific server, Gianna, who was very helpful, friendly and attentive. The ginger tea is also very tasty.

Very pleased with our recent visit. Ordered the Appleton roll, GR Chicken and Kapoon (not on printed menu yet but available by request). Hostess/bartender Jaquee was extremely helpful and very friendly and forthcoming with recommendations. Appleton roll was very tasty but would benefit from more salmon in the roll. GR Chicken was very good. The Kapoon was 5 star. It's like a curry/soup which is different but definitely worked. Would never have ordered it on my own but like trying different foods and Jaquee mentioned it several times so I gave it a go. I asked for spice level "3" (1-5) and it was perfect. Great taste, very bright and felt home cooked. Will definitely be back again.

I have gone here for years. Sadly, since they stopped serving sushi, this place has really gone downhill in food and service. The food quality and taste is what you'd get at a cheap Asian buffet, but with top dollar prices. Ingredients were missing for items that I ordered, only to have to ask about it and find out that they had run out of (or didn't restock?) ingredients. The one sushi appetizer left on the menu is gross -- they cook the fish, add fried bits and you can barely find tasteless "cream cheese" -- it's mushy and not sushi. Staff appear to be mostly young adults who tried, but didn't really know the place and didn't check in to see what we needed. I felt sorry for our server who was put on a bind with the missing ingredients and could only apologize as there was no way to fix it. The place itself is now dirty, cheap looking, and set with rather plain tables and chairs. There are no buffers between tables so you hear everything around you. Food was sent home in a brown paper bag like a grocery store, in cheap paper containers, despite the $80 price tag. If you want cheap, bland Asian food, save your money and go to a buffet where the prices match the quality, and you get to taste everything. Totally disappointed. This was the last time at GingeRootz for me. It is the end of an iconic era and a legend.

Food was good! We waited a while to be seated there was no one at the front when we arrived and the dinning room was empty.

I enjoyed a wonderful night out with my family. It's been a year or so since the last time I was here, and since we are a family that loves Asian food, we decided on GingerRoots. The food and service were excellent. Both my niece and I had the chicken lo mein, and my wife had the General Cho's chicken, my sister had the tofu shrimp pot, my father had the Aji tuna, and my other niece had the Mandarin chicken. We also had the calamari for our appetizer and both the chocolate and deep-fried cheesecake for dessert. We all look forward to returning.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
KFC is a popular fast-food chain recognized for its signature fried chicken served in buckets and accompanied by combo meals and side dishes. However, some customers have reported receiving dry tenders that lacked freshness. Additionally, there have been concerns regarding the payment process, as the restaurant requests cards but lacks clarity on how to handle those who haven't faced any security breaches. Amidst these issues, it is worth mentioning that one of the managers displayed helpfulness and understanding by allowing cash payments instead.
We had the $20. Fill up. 8 pieces of chicken, You can mix the chicken, extra crispy, Original recipe. 3 sides and 4 biscuits. Friendly workers and food was very good. Excellent service.

Will never go to another kfc! The one on Wisconsin ave is horrible. We ordered a 9 & 14. It took 20 minutes and as we are driving down the road going thur the order there is no receipt, no drinks, no fries, no chicken for the #9 and the #14 chicken is soaking in 1/2” of grease! We couldn’t eat any of the food! Tried to call MANY times and no answer. Emailed corporate and no answer. What a joke of a business.

Drive thru was friendly enough when we could understand what was being said she spoke so fast. 2 orders, my fries were cold and hard, slaw was bland and seemed to be about to sour, chicken on the sandwich was so dry I had to take off the bread just to be able to finish it. Gave my friend my Mac n cheese and she said that was the only decent thing she had as well because as you can see from the picture of her tenders box there is much to be desired. Her tenders were so thin we had to search for the chicken part of the tenders and was extremely dry, her fries were as inedible as mine, she doesn’t like slaw so I tried hers, it was a bit better than mine but not by much, and her biscuit was tolerable. . . All in all an extremely disappointing experience for a $23.00 meal. I’d have to get baked just to enjoy it and even then it’d be questionable. In Severe Need Of Improvement!!!

Slow operation with only a couple employees. I was the only customer when I got there. I asked for a Pepsi and a Mt Dew. They handed me two Mt Dews, and fixed it when I corrected her (good thing Mt Dew and Pepsi look different). Waited about 5 or 10 minutes for my food. Most of the food was hot, some was just warm. Food tasted good.

Gotta love giant hair in your fried chicken. Good was warm at best, service was absolutely terrible. $40 completely wasted. Should have known from the cleanliness and terrible attitudes that the food would be terrible. Lesson learned

Served completely wrong meal. The chicken that I did receive in place of a chicken sandwich box meal was raw. Oil is obviously very past it's change date. Very sad to see such an icon let their standards go.

0 stars. Original chicken fried once then fried again to reheat? Come on, dry biscuit no ice in soda. Oh and they don’t answer the phone, so complaints go unheard. People Take your business somewhere else!!!

Fondue restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
The Melting Pot is a popular chain of fondue restaurants that offers an assortment of heated pots filled with cheese, chocolate, or broth for dipping and cooking. Customers have praised the exquisite food and exceptional service provided by the staff. The prompt and capable service from a newer employee was particularly noteworthy. Despite some louder conversations from other patrons, the overall dining experience was described as beyond amazing.
Took my 50th birthday trip here and it was told the food was fantastic. I was not lied to it was so very good and such a unique experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave us suggestions since this was our first time. She explained everything as she brought it and how to use the grill. The food itself was amazing and the seasoning and marinades were delicious. 10 out of 10 for service and experience.

Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing, our waiter Carlos was the best someone could've asked for, super friendly, loved his attitude. Over all great place, eat at your own pace and cook your own food to your liking. Very much recommended. Quality of the food was fantastic, everything tasted fresh, seasoned great for cooking on your own

We had a great experience! Lin was our waitress and she was phenomenal! So kind & a great server. We did the 4 course for 2 dinner. My husband ordered a modern old fashioned and did not like it and ordered a different drink. They discounted the old fashion from our bill which was not necessary but appreciated. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t before!

What a neat experience! We did the Complete Dinner for Two which consisted of a four-course meal. Everything from start to finish was delicious. The steaks were especially flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed and our server Terri was phenomenal. Thanks for making my wife's birthday a success!

The very first time we ever came to the Melting Pot we had Luke! The other three servers after that 2 were ok and one never ever came to check on us and I kept having to ask for other wait staff. However, tonight we had Luke again! Let me tell you he is the most joyous person to be around. I mean, he explains everything great, his listening skills are fantastic! I am not from Wisconsin but I am from Ohio and lived over 15 years in Tennessee. I am used to joyous wait staff. Ones that makes it all part of the experience of oh my goodness. He's one of the coolest young people we have ever met in Wisconsin. I was going to say the coolest but then I remembered some others I've met too. However, he definitely wins the wait staff with the most joyful personality we have ever met in Wisconsin! Thank you!

I was trying to set up an impromptu dinner date with my brother and his wife since they like going to the Melting Pot often and we go annually. My brother wanted to try the grill top and we wanted to take advantage of the traditional fondue. So I called the restaurant two times to ask several questions that came up amongst our group as we made plans to visit the Melting Pot in Appleton. My first call was to see if you were busy, our group thought there might be a wait to get in. The response to my call was currently (4:30pm - 5:00pm) no waiting, after 6 however there would be at least a half hour wait if not longer. Then I called back to ask if we could have a table that would accommodate both fondue and the griddle? The same person answered and said there would be no issue with this request as they would be able to accommodate both cooking styles. When we arrived at 5:05pm we were greeted with how many, 4? Your reservations are under? I said we didn't have reservations but I did call ahead, I was cut off rudely with "we like for people to make reservations!" I reiterated I called ahead and spoke to... I was cut off again with someone saying "he did call and spoke to him twice". I started to say I wasn't aware that you had to... Then the breath taking rude comment was blurted out, as the hostess took out menus "remember next time to make sure you make reservations! We are busy and we are booked" This set the tone for our entire evening the person that seated us seemed very short and dismissive. Our waitress seemed short and elusive, being difficult to find and taking their time with our requests for additional food items. They seemingly kept trying to move us along with the next course immediately as. Overall the four of do not live in town we have enjoyed the Melting Pot for the past decades. Fixing this issue of miscommunication and rudeness could be easily coached in saying "if you are taking inquiring calls or informational calls ask if they would like to place a reservation?" A Hostess should never be flippant or rude they should always be pleasant, graceful and in control. They could say something similar to let me see if I have a spot open for you. Our observation was you appeared not booked , you were not busy, as stated the Hostess, you did not have any large parties come in, and our waitress was unbearably elusive, was this tone set from the hostess? These above behaviors are not becoming of an establishment that charges $106 for a meal, when there are so many other restaurants vying for our business.

Such a great time! Our server, Maddy was not mad at all and the manager, Natasha gave some expert advice about pickles and peanut butter. Never would have guessed it was that good. We seriously had such a wonderful time and had so many laughs! Will definitely be back!

Evan (the bartender) and Luke (our server) were absolutely phenomenal. Date night without kids, and the evening had issue after issue. They insisted we ended up leaving home late and unfortunately not arriving until 8:15. Both gentlemen reassured us multiple times that we were not a burden, and to just relax and enjoy our evening. We live over an hour away and will be returning because of these 2 fine, young gentleman. 10/10 recommend this location.

Visitors can enjoy thrilling go-kart races, engaging rounds of mini-golf, heart-pounding laser tag games, and skill-testing swings in the batting cages. Definitely a great place to stop. Come by swing the bat get your game on. There’s some go karts and lots of indoor fun. Laser tag was awesome too.

Lots of fun. Employees where helpful and friendly. Was slightly disappointed in batting cages they have the balls shooting pretty low, for kids rather then adults. But im an adult that wants to be a kid and hitting low balls sucked. 😉 go karts are family friendly with both double riders and single riders.

Amazing management and staff that keep this place running as clean and efficient as possible. Batting cages are very reasonably priced and fun to hit ball’s all day. Their laze rooms are huge and the little have a blast. The arcade has a great variety of new and older machines. If there’s an issue with a machine glitching or acting up they’re fast to fix the issue.

We hosted our company’s team-building day at Badger Sports Park, and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish! A huge thank-you to Karina and Eli — they were incredibly helpful, organized, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. From coordinating our group’s arrival to managing laser tag and game play, they were truly wonderful to work with. Our team had an amazing time — the laser tag was a highlight (and got very competitive!), and we also loved the go-karts, mini golf, and other activities included in the Utopia package. The space was clean, and the whole environment was perfect for a mix of fun and team bonding. Highly recommend for any organization looking to plan an engaging and seamless group event. Thank you, Badger Sports Park!

Always a great time here for kids and adults. Mini golf, Go-Karts, and arcade games are my families favorites. Staff is always personable. Food is decent. We go 2-3 times a year or more and will keep coming back.

Go karts are fun! Try not to take the yellow double seater..it’s a little slow. I’m sensitive to smells and standing in line the gas fumes can be a bit too much so I usually wait by the door until we are up. The green swipe games are fun…especially the virtual reality game! My kids also like playing the Super Bikes 3 so they can sit and “drive” the sport bikes. (See attached pic.) We purchased gift cards on a radio deal website, which at the time was spend $12 to get $25. I highly recommend trying to get some sort of deal whether their advertised utopias or discounted gift cards or great to ask family to purchase your kids vs more toys or to add to their Christmas list. We used $60 in gift cards to load on rechargeable card and got $25 free to use anywhere in Badger at each activities listed price (as of 9/21/24 here are some….mini golf $8-9, go karts $6, batting cage 14 pitches/$1.50, ticket earning games $1+, green swipe games $1+, laser tag $15 and inflatables $10 per day). Fun place to go on a family outing that is a bit expensive but it will be a great time! We try to go at least 2x-4x per year. It’s never too packed so we can get on something right away which is great!

Went to Plamann Park for the first time today. Beautiful and great for families with kids and small children. They have a small kid farm with goats, cow, rabbit donkey, pigs ECT. With a butterfly trail and a birding trail. Plus a wonderful swimming area for kids of all ages. Plus picnic areas, shade, shelters and clean bathrooms. Concession stand and a 27 hole disc golf course.

Went disc golfing at the park. It's definitely a 18 hole. Online it says 9 hole. Was not unhappy with the mistake. Good course well maintained. Did not use the water park but it looks like a lot of fun.

Plamann is a beautiful park! In winter, there is a big sledding hill and great snowshoe and cross country ski trails. I've also seen many people come here to walk in any season. In the warmer months there is a disc golf course, and a man made lake with a beach and concessions. There are: areas for various sporting activities, playgrounds, a children's farm (seasonal), picnic spots with or without pavilions, and restrooms available in the park. Fantastic place for family photos, as well. Check it out!
Jenny N — Google review
Nice county park with beautiful walking trails. Follow the paved paths or venture into the woods on the cross country ski trails. Many amenities and fields. Ample parking. Summer swim lake.
Pat C — Google review
I think this place has better potential. A note to people renting the buildings: especially for weddings!! The grass will not be mowed nor the area weeded. It is very unattractive for photos or convenient for dresses!! This was brought to their attention and was never corrected for the next bride. Any use of shelter areas, double check prior regarding keys as their bathrooms are always locked. Super inconvenient

Parks
Outagamie County Dog Park, located in Appleton, WI, offers a spacious and well-organized environment for dogs to roam and socialize off-leash. With three fenced sections spanning over 17 acres, the park includes a separate area for small dogs. Visitors appreciate the enclosed space that allows their pets to run freely and enjoy the trails. While some caution against potential encounters with aggressive or unfriendly dogs, many find it to be an excellent spot for dog socialization.
People at this dog park are generally responsible dog owners. After being here about ten times, I have yet to have any issues with the park and it seems to be nicely maintained. Lots of people bring extra bags for those who go and have forgotten them. I have really been enjoying the nice walk around the park. Lots of benches and water bowls throughout to rest and relax.
Lindsay B — Google review
Nice dog park with plenty of open space to play fetch, wooded areas for exploration, and trails. There is an optional separated area for small dogs. Beware that the parking lot is a bit small, and located nearby to a busy intersection. Can be a mild nuisance during busy traffic times.

We love the dog park! Lots of trails and space to run. We always bring a bucket with fresh water with us as well as our own poop bags, although there are bags availableat the park if we forget. There is a Porta potty outside the fenced in area, but it's not always clean so we avoid using it. Doesn't take away from the dog park itself.
Cady P — Google review
Been here multiple times, never had an issue until recently. Went in today with two other people with our two dogs perfectly fine. Two golden retrievers named Severus and Bubbles kept playing with our husky until they pinned her down multiple times, mainly the dog Severus. We asked the owner multiple times to pull and recall his dog every time but the dog never listen to his commands and his dog started humping our dog who was trying to fight back but is slightly blind and couldn’t fend herself. Asked the owner to leash his dog as we were tired of it and started an argument that this was a dog park and that the dogs were playing, they clearly weren’t as his dog Severus was trying to dominate our husky as she was yelping and clearly being attacked. Owner proceeds to get into one of the people’s face that I was with and threatening us. Not sure if I would want to go back if these are the people we are going to encounter every single time. PS. His dog bubbles was chasing our dog the entire time and did not recall his dog once it was out of sight. If people still want to go, be careful of these golden retrievers Bubbles and Severus.

Nice place. We were there to visit a small Harry Houdini exhibit. Nice display. They do give away some secrets of his tricks, but nice to visit if nearby.

I was really excited because it’s in a castle . The inside architecture doesn’t look antique at all. I was very disappointed. The museum was not what I was expecting . It wasn’t at all anything special. I wouldn’t go out of my way to ever go again. (Came from 3 hours away) It was $12 a person and just not worth it There is so much space that isn’t utilized. All four of us walked away disappointed
Liz F — Google review
It was ok, the only part I actually understood why it was there was the houdini exhibit on the third floor and the historical pieces of the 19th century. There were too many pieces that were confusing and didn't make sense in the museum in my opinion. We paid 12 dollars per person all adults in case anyone is curious on prices...very cool architecture and I would recommend the back story from the clerk that was offered but we forgot to circle back and ask!

I've been wanting to stop by forever but the timing was never right. I'm so glad I was able to get inside this time. There's so much to see! A very good selection of historical records for the city of Appleton. The building is an awesome piece of architecture for sure, I really enjoyed the woodwork, windows and fireplace downstairs. The Houdini exhibit was a pleasure. There are a really good selection of hands on things to do that made it all so much fun. The "Stone of Hope: Black Experience in the Fox Cities" was put together very well and I really enjoyed all the pictures. I'm a visual person, so there's never enough pictures😃. The stories on the display flowed along nicely. You should stop by, the whole family can find something to enjoy and it only takes about an hour and a half.

Very interesting building for the museum! Had a great time in the Houdini exhibit. It was unlike anything I’ve done in a museum before!
Sarah P — Google review
One of the smaller museums we have visited. They were a little skimpy on exhibits. Our favorite parts were the Houdini hands on exhibits and the architecture of the building. It was worth the price of admission for the fun we had here. We only spent about 30 minutes here. We expected more based on how big the building appears on the outside.
Wanderfish — Google review
It was a good time for kids in the Hudini area. It was informational very hands on. We had fun picking locks and finding out how some tricks were performed. Great exhibition for the whole family. The other exhibits were a bit disappointing. I enjoy history deeply but at the time we visited all the history was just presented in text. Large banners and walls filled with words. The kiddos and young adults did not engage with the content presented in this manner. The information contained in was fantastic but not delivered well. That part was disappointing. The building itself was beautiful and probably my favorite part of the whole visit.
Tonya F — Google review
Nice little museum. Limited of course given the size of Appleton, but everything exhibited was very well done and informative. We especially liked the Harry Houdini exhibit and it was very extensive and interactive. My grandkids loved performing some of the magic tricks! They even explained how he did some of most famous tricks. That exhibit was worth the price of admission!

Ordered Delivery, a Fairly Big order. Everything was there and Delivered in a Timely Fashion. Chill was AWESOME and the Subs were Good. Nice on the Phone and the Delivery Driver was Friendly. A Great Experience!

Honestly, eating here was a ridiculous let down. On a full length Turkey sub, they include 2 oz of meat and charge $6 for it. The bread really wasn't good quality, the lettuce was frozen, and they barely had any mayo spread on the bread. The empty tables I walked past hadn't been wiped down, yet they weren't busy and barely had any customers so late in the evening. The only reason they kept an extra star was due to the fact that they kept late hours Saturday.
Aaron R — Google review
I have ordered delivery numerous times with the E. College Ave. store. There is always something missing from my order. My family and I started taking notes on missing items from orders. Today and the bowl of soup that did not arrive marks the 17th time of 24 orders since we started documenting where something was missing. Sometimes it is as small as a pickle or cookie. Other times it is entire sandwiches or bowls of soup etc. There is not a lot of care that goes into delivering the correct order. The food is great. Employees and management are always apologetic for the miscues. I wrote a letter to the store two years ago when this started. I have started calling each time to get resolution. Once a manager brought the missing items, but usually my complaint is met with indifference or excuses. I work from home during the day and order from several other places...never issues like I have at the E. College Ave store. I am an easy going person...we are an easy going family...but after so many mishaps, we had to take a stand. We are out the food they did not delivery and the money lost.

I ordered on Uber eats, got my food fast and delivery was great. Upon opening the bag I noticed we didn’t get our peanut butter bar. Oh well it’s only a couple bucks. But then I unwrapped my sandwich to find they didn’t put any meat or cheese on it! So I got some lunch meat and cheese from my fridge and put it on. I took 2 bites and the second one I had to pull a long black hair out of my throat. Eww. The only thing they got right was the soup. I’m disgusted with this place. I know there is good employees there, but you guys really need to find the ones that are being lazy and unsanitary.

The food is good and ordering is easy enough. I enjoy eating here as well and the prices are competitive with other sub places in the area. So why the 2 stars? Their delivery is slow and they clearly don't double check the order before sending it out. As is, after an order is placed it takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to get your food. Fine, whatever, plan ahead and order earlier right. But then we get to tonight's order. They delivered my order and were friendly and everything. Start passing out food to the family and they forgot a bag of chips and a sub. That sucks, now everyone gets to eat but one person who is stuck watching everyone eat. I call and explain the mix up and what we are missing. I'm apologized to and told a driver will get it out to us. Ok I can make do with that. Fast forward 30 minutes later. Still no sub and chips, so I call them back and am told they got 6 more deliveries along with our mix up and it's all out for delivery. Fast forward another 45 minutes and our missing food FINALLY arrives only to find they have given us the right sub but the wrong flavor of chips. Seriously, I told you over the phone what was missing. Even more so, I understand you got 6 more deliveries, BUT it's not our fault you guys messed up. Why are we forced to wait last when we ordered before all those people and you guys dropped the ball. Super annoyed over the whole situation and honestly may reconsider before ordering delivery from here ever again. Good luck to anybody who plans to order delivery and be prepared that even the fix for the screw up will likely be screwed up.

Food is always delicious. Delivery has been over 15 minutes early on three separate occasions after having SPECIFIED a delivery time, however.. This would be wildly inconvenient for someone who gets strict break times. I expected them to be early again and it was four minutes after time, which is fine, just not very consistent - unpredictable actually. Still always tipped the driver. Also, have had three orders incorrect all on delivery only (missing added oregano - avocado on the titan? - Italian bread instead of Wheat...EASY things). Dining in has always been solid with no discrepancies. Thanks. EDIT - Happened again on 8/6/2019 - delivery SPECIFIED for 2:30 delivered to my job at 2:09. Why is there even an option for delivery time on the website? Haven't checked order yet, wish me luck. My receipt says 2:30 delivery though. *SHRUGS*

Awesome place! Great food and great service! Every staff member I've dealt has been extremely friendly and personable. Tried the Beef, Cheddar, and Hummus Wrap this time. I don't normally fill up on wraps so I paired it with a cup of their Loaded Potato soup. It was a perfect combo! Both tasted amazing and I was able to leave happily with a full belly. Cheers to the staff over at Erbert and Gerberts on College Ave!

Poor service. First time eating here and I ordered a combo. They gave me a drink and I payed. After I figured out I could actually get soup or chips with my meal I asked if I could get soup but they wanted to fully charge me for the soup after I just payed 3.50$ for a medium drink. I even explained that the previous employee didn’t even ask me if I wanted soup or chips. I just got ripped off

Coffee shop
Copper Rock Coffee is a locally owned establishment with deep roots in Wisconsin and a strong emphasis on family values. Since opening its doors in 2002, this Appleton location has become a favorite spot for locals, offering a wide selection of beverages and delicious brunch options. Despite its unassuming exterior in a small strip mall, the coffee shop impresses visitors with its inviting atmosphere and diverse menu that goes beyond typical coffeehouse fare.
Came on the weekend pretty late in the afternoon and there was absolutely no wait. There were a few people sitting outside and a couple working on computers inside. Large variety of drinks, and they had to drive through. Ordered a few ice drinks to go and they were very good. Coffee house had a nice atmosphere and was very clean.

I stop by once a weekend for breakfast and a coffee. They always have a pup cup ready for my senior dog! Great food and coffee, and even better staff!
Patrick K — Google review
I always enjoy coming here, it's a warm atmosphere. Their scones are very yummy, but order early in the morning because they often go quickly. Their coffee tastes fresh, and I like the variety in their menu. I do feel it needs a bigger space - it is usually quite busy anytime of the day.

Some of the best chai in the valley. Love the relaxed ambiance to come and get work done or catch up with friends. Great drive through option as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great cup of chai, coffee or other coffee drinks!

I’m actually really upset after my last visit here, there’s one employee I’ve had a few times who is always rude, irritable, and this time was sarcastic and I think purposely messed up my order? I came through the drive through, got a panini, parked my car, took a few bites, and realized I didn’t want the rest of the sandwich because it was blackened and tasted like charcoal. So I go through and re order, the second sandwich came out completely cold, cheese unmelted, and veggies still cold, It was a hot pressed panini. As she handed me the new sandwich she smirked and started laughing as she turned around to the other employees behind her. So I called for a refunded and I she answered and explained and she just gave me a short, “ok, do you want us to heat it up.” I heard another employee having to tell her to apologize when I said no. Maybe it’s her first job and she’s been having really bad days every time I’ve been here, but still. Doesn’t feel good to be treated like that by anyone and I don’t think there’s an excuse for it. On the other hand, the College Ave location has always been exceptionally considerate, employees are mature, and the foods always great. This Ballard location is unfortunately closer to my house, but I won’t be coming back after this experience. Picture of second sandwich below.

I’m from New England and it’s hard to find a coffee shop that offers a turtle. So when I walked into Copper Rock I was pleasantly surprised to find a turtle on their menu. Great little coffee shop with friendly staff. And they make a great iced turtle!

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's is a timeless fast-food institution celebrated for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. This particular location stands out as a vibrant hub, especially during lunchtime when high school students gather to share their often misguided yet entertaining conversations. The atmosphere is lively, with a mix of reality and playful fiction woven into the chatter. And who can resist those complimentary French fries? It's all part of the McDonald's experience that keeps patrons coming back for more! Go Pack Go!
Fantastic medium sized McDonald's. Some of the High School students have desperately ignorant conversations at lunch time. Misguided at their best, deranged at their worst. Elements of fiction peppered with references to electronic images. Thanks for the free French Fries! Go Pack Go!

NEVER USUNG THEIR MOBILE APP AGAIN! left empty handed i went on to order food and it was showing breakfast.. so i order a biscuit meal & coffee for curbside pickup. it tells me the order is ready, and when i get there i enter the number. then it says to go through drive through or counter to pick up… sometimes this happens and u can still pick up ur food. but today the drive through lady just kept repeating we’re done serving breakfast… like okay?.. she didn’t offer any solutions.. just drove off and said whatever! …usually great but the app glitches out and i’m done with the inconvenience :) had i had known they were serving lunch … i would’ve be ordered lunch :)
Zoey — Google review
I went through the drive through and the employee didn't ask if i was using the mobile app, didn't seem to understand half of what i was ordering, and i was told before 9pm that they couldn't make a shake because they were cleaning the machine, but they don't close until 10pm. I don't think they are able to take orders in a fast paced environment, and this has happened 4 other visits to this location, other locations have never told me that, probably because they don't clean their machine until they begin to close. When my order was handed out, the bag was badly ripped and open, not rolled shut like every other time. I visit McDonald's at least 2 times a week, and i am not going to go to the Ballard Rd location anymore, to many frustrating experiences there. I would not recommend to my nemesis!!!
Tohnja R — Google review
Come to this location quit often and have never had such a horrible experience. The guy couldn’t figure out our order what so ever and we ordered directly off the menu no changes to the food. Had to repeat ourselves multiple times and he still got it wrong. When got to the window to pay, the guy wasn’t there. When he did show up he just took the card, gave it back and walked away without saying anything. When asking for a receipt the guy at the next window was absolutely no help.

Food was horrible! I did a drive thru. Went home and found out my burgers and fries were cold! I can see why this place was reviewed poorly. I won't come back again.
Shue V — Google review
My 12 yr old daughter went on the drive thru on her bike and was rudely told that she could not be there on a bike and if she doesn’t leave within 30 seconds that they would call the cops on her! As a mom, this upsets me. How is a 12 year old supposed to know bike was not aloud on the drive thru? I am disgusted by how this employee handled this. She could have just told her nicely and not scare a 12 year old innocent girl who just wanted some food! Disgusting attitude! I hope the owner of this franchise can read this. And oh, my son happened to catch this encounter on video!

Place is so gross every time I’ve gotten food here it’s never made right there’s always something wrong with my order, for over 2 years it still runs horribly I feel like no one is training the employees right don’t waste your money on this location go to the one on northland. I don’t eat McDonalds much anymore I decided to get some today and my chicken wasn’t even cooked it was slimy and pink.

I do curbside pickup for this order every time I come here sometimes before work, but seems like they don't know how to read or what. I always order the same spicy sandwich and sometimes with extra sauce, but they somehow always mess it up as a deluxe in which they add lettuce and tomatoes.

🌿 A serene nature preserve offering a mix of paved, rocky, grassy, and dirt trails. It’s well-maintained, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful stroll or light hike. The area features large parking lots, including an EV charging station. Trails vary in length to suit different preferences, and the dense woodland provides plenty of cool shade along the way.

I had the honor of being an officiant and day of coordinator for a wedding at Bubolz Nature Preserve in early September. Although it was windy the ceremony space was beautiful dreamy! Inside was perfect for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The staff were excellent from communication prior to the big day and throughout with their POC and bartenders for me to work with. This location and the offerings they provide are highly recommended!

A lovely place to visit. They have nature trails. I liked seeing all of the animals upstairs and downstairs. They ha e free wifi that doesn't require a password. We attended a wedding there. The reception area was nice size for a small wedding with 60-80 guests. The caterer was able to use the kitchen. They even have a large area to hang coats.

9/17/25 - Parking was atrocious and non-existent. The bridge is breaking and the water is gross. 2/10 Probably would be nicer certain times of year. Update Per Response on 10/16/25: - Correction it was a dock not a bridge, I apologize for the mistake. However the dock cracked and almost broke underneath where I was walking twice. The water was completely covered in algae and smelled horrible when you got past the tall growth. which the algae is shown in a photo. I will make sure in the future I take better photos of how "atrocious" places are. ALSO to add to this review. There is NO WHERE to park. We parked at a factory to which we then walked over, even though there is signage to show you were the place is. I dropped this review down to a 1 star because of the response that I got not taking my review seriously and trying to deny the information I posted.

I love looking for books here. Great finds @ .50 cents per soft cover and 1.00 for hard covers. You can find alot of other good merch @ 1.59 per lb. 4 stars because people can be kind of rude there. Its whatever though.
Jared Y — Google review
People leaving reviews saying this place is horrible don’t understand that it’s the goodwill bins. You should not expect a normal goodwill store or the comparison of a target. There are a few bins out there that are organized and “clean” but that’s rare to find. The goodwill bins offer an awesome opportunity to find great find for super cheap. The reason it is so cheap is because it’s not organized or CLEAN. I recommend to always wear gloves and wash your hands after. But I have never had a bad experience with the clothes/items here or the employees. If you are kind to other people there, including the workers, they are kind back. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a good thrift (that isn’t super expensive).
Hailey D — Google review
Clearly store staff favor the regulars and their favorite resellers because so many of them stand around with their carts, just talking and blocking bins while waiting for the next rotation, and are never reprimanded. There are other people there trying to shop those exact bins you are blocking. And to the worker who "politely", yet rudely told me to wait my turn for the new bins as I didn't "wait" in the proper lineup (I was still shopping bins a few aisles down) and because I didn't want to be run over by other shoppers, can you tell me where it says we have to wait in line to shop the new bins? I didn't even come to the new bins immediately, it was after a few minutes already when the others already rummaged through them. I feel like she just wanted to be superior in her position and tell others what to do. I hardly come due to the rude treatment of staff and other shoppers. Whatever store rules that are currently in place, it needs to be re-evaluated.
S L — Google review
Awful experience. Been a few times to this location and will never go back. They are paying employees to steal your cart when you are 6 ft from it and not death gripping it. Allison, the employee/claim to be manager, steals your cart when you are not looking and then talks to you like a child. When I questioned why my cart was taken, after I walked away from it for less than five minutes, she continuously repeated herself saying you “have to be attached to your cart at all times” and that “I announce over the intercom every half hour to not leave your carts unattended”. You cannot hear anything over the intercom and she expect everyone that walks in the door, to know every rule for the Outlet. Sorry, I didn’t want to run people over with a cart to go to the new bins that were restocked. I said that I had a water bottle my cart, in which she said the store does “not allow you to bring outside food or water in”. I finally asked, “So, am I able to get my cart back? What if there were personal belongings in there?” She said that she does not “dump it in case there are personal belongings.” She argued with a gentleman for 15-20 minutes and refused to give his cart back to him, which had his personal belongings in it. He said he was there all day and he walks away for a couple of minutes, to then come back to his cart gone. She threatened to call the cops on him because he wanted his personal belongings back, when she is the one who stole them. I have gone to multiple bin locations in WI, IL, MN, and FL. I’ve never had an experience like this before.
Megan C — Google review
Mixed feelings about this inexpensive second hand store. The store piles loads of items, clothes, toys, etc into huge bins, that the public digs through to find whatever they think is a good item. The prices are cheap if you don't mind rummaging through piles of someone else's smelly old clothes or personal items.
Timothy L — Google review
I called to ask a question about an auction I had won on their website. The lady that answered the phone was an older lady and she was so rude. She didn’t even let me finish my question before she interrupted me and told me that the place I had to talk to was closed. I’m not even in the state. I live in another state. She gave me the number but was very rude. Please talk to your employees about customer service on the phone.

I have been to goodwill bins throughout the US and Wisconsin. Each one is a different price and product. This specific location is many house hold goods, glass, etc they do have clothes but about 6 carts. The Milwaukee and Racine locations have more clothes than anything. This was worth the stop for vintage glass, china dishes, home decor and more.

Appleton Beer Factory is a laid-back brewpub located in Downtown Appleton, WI. The brewery prides itself on its historic building and offers a wide range of delightful brews. The exposed-brick decor creates a relaxed atmosphere for patrons to enjoy locally sourced eats such as burgers. The brewery also features a custom-fabricated brewing system, allowing visitors to witness the beer-making process firsthand.
My husband and I chose Appleton Beer Factory for the sole purpose of utilizing one of our Wisconsin Brewdeck cards. Street parking was as expected of Appleton on a Saturday evening. The front is handicap accessible. We sat at the bar. Ambiance, including house music, was pleasant. Service was prompt and well-timed. Coke products are served here. Food-wise, my husband ordered the Reuben with fries and I had the Shrimp Tacos with chips and salsa as a side. Husband reported back with great reviews. My shrimp tacos were delicious, but rather messy. They tend to fall apart a bit, and the insides fell on to my plate. No big deal. The chips I got as a side worked great to clean up the shrimp taco salsa now on my plate. I'd say this was a win, and we will be back again. P.s. the pickle in my photo was served with my husband's Reuben and he donated it to me. My plate had a lime wedge included.

Good beer and good food. One star off because the service was a bit odd. Not sure if they have actual waitstaff (beyond bartenders), but we came in for dinner on a trivia night (unknown to us) and it seemed like the bartenders were also having to double duty as waiters, so getting our food and getting the bill took a while since they were very busy with folks coming in for trivia.

Second time at the Appleton Beer Factory and had a phenomenal experience. Quick service and amazing food. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not unbelievably spicy but had a good kick, with a super juicy thigh. And the cucumber salad with veggies fresh from the garden was incredible. My husband had a great burger and our beers were great! Can’t recommend enough.

Milhand Hefeweizen was delicious and so refreshing! Hints of banana! Great pizza! Looks like they have live music events too, wish I could've stayed for that!

There is absolutely no organizational system to order a drink during mile of music. It was chaos, and truly whoever was yelling the loudest at the bar, which was 3 people deep at all times. We had worked our way up to seats at the bar, waited a half hour holding my card out the entire time and never got a bartender’s attention to order a tap beer before we just decided to leave. The bartenders were moving and working hard, but there was no way three people could keep up with what was going on. If you are going to fill a bar to capacity, have staff and systems to accommodate.

We were in search of a shop and had no idea where to go. The GPS directed us to City Center Plaza, which has an attractive interior and offered warmth on a cold day. The security personnel promptly assisted us by providing directions and pointing out the exits. This was our second visit to City Center, which proved to be a secure location despite several studios lacking commercial establishments.
We were looking for a store and did not know where to go. The GPS took us to City Center Plaza. It is lovely inside plus it was warm on a rather chilly day. The security guard helped us right away. He made sure we knew where to go and the exits. Second trip to the City Center. Very safe even though many of the studios do not have businesses.

It is a wonderful building for events like the farmers market, but a sad reminder of the poor choices past government made. All but a few shops remain and the once wonderful outdoor courtyard on the upper floor has been closed off to the public for a private firm. There is one jem , a small museum with animals from around the world. Check ahead for hours of the museum though because it is seldom open.

It's TRULY ABSURD that I'm being asked to review this venue, walked by it & sat & rested on bench while on way to somewhere else. It's ABSURD to ask for review because venue is being completely gutted while being refitted ( @ CONSIDERABLE cost to tax payers ) to mostly upscale residential units while remaining limited in commercial shopping opportunities. All part of the concerted effort to turn Collge Ave. from a vibrant & growing downtown into an overpriced residential neighborhood.
Kevin M — Google review
City Center Plaza was unbeknownst to me until I needed to find a public restroom (it's on the third floor up!). Strolling around in the center was a treat in itself, though: the decor is bright, there are plants on the stairwells, and the building is full of character. Most of the shops inside were closed even in the early evening, save for perhaps a salon and a boutique. It would have been neat to have the chance to try one of the few restaurants that remain there. I've read that the plaza isn't quite what it used to be, but even though I was one of the only patrons there, it was a pleasant visit.

Excellent customer service. Quick shipping and excellent products. I am very sensitive to smells and the Vanilla Grapefruit works for me. It is a light clean scent. Not overpowering. I highly recommend this candle company.
Jill S — Google review
Love Eco Candles! The scents are so lovely and the candles burn very clean and last so long. I buy the mason jar size and burning one of those will scent my whole home! Mother Earth and Lemongrass are my two favorites, but all of their scents are wonderful. The linen spray is also great.
Rochelle — Google review
These candles are very high quality with lovely smells that are not too heavy or too light when the candles burn. They burn evenly and are long lasting. They have a line of “many” candles too. They also sell candle holders, soaps, soap dishes, bath bombs, incense sticks, wax melts among other fun products.
Lisa D — Google review
Very disappointed. We went 45 minutes away to a boutique and smelled the wonderful Goddess reed diffusers, they made our home smell wonderful for a long time! Didn't want to take the 45 minute drive again, so I ordered it online from the company, and I have no idea why? but we can't smell it at all, and it's the exact same product? Both my husband and I are confused and disappointed 😞
Laurie C — Google review
I just received my order from Eco Candle and I am ecstatic!!!! I ordered 2 diffusers, a candle and a sachet all in the scent of Nag Champa and they are AMAZING!!!! So fragrant and so earth friendly!! They were all packaged in “popcorn “ which is made of cornstarch and can be dissolved in water!!! They also sent a few tea light candles as a gift to try!!! Very impressed and delighted with this company!!! Thank you!!
Rendi R — Google review
Hands down, the BEST candle store ever! While I don't permanently live in the area, whenever I am in downtown Appleton - it is an absolute must that I stop in and stock up on some candles! I love the tea lights and how you can put together your own personal pack of 10 for only like $11! I find that to be a great deal. I also love that they are made of soy and the quality of burn + smell is top notch! You can always find wonderful scents and various sizes throughout the changing of seasons. I cannot recommend this place enough! EDIT : I just purchased a 16oz. candle for the first time and I am excited to burn it! They had a special for 10% off and I also had an additional 10% off for being a part of their rewards program. I found out that they do ship throughout the U.S. so you can purchase online as well!

Mediterranean restaurant
Josef's Gyros & Kabobs is a laid-back establishment that offers Mediterranean cuisine and burgers in a cozy setting with outdoor seating. Patrons rave about their delicious gyros, which are considered some of the best around. Families often opt for takeout from this restaurant, which also boasts a pleasant ambiance. The gyros are described as satisfying and not overly greasy or dry.
Take out only. If you want a gyro, Josefs Gyros and Kabobs is the place. It is a small place, but the food is phenomenal! The counter is directly as you walk in and a booth across from the ordering counter. There is also a small bathroom. Every time we have stopped, it has been busy, so there is a short wait but worth every minute. Their menu includes gyros, kabobs, falafel, and chicken tenders. Sides include fries and cheese curds. There is also a cooler with different bottled sodas and water. Parking is limited and may take a while to find a spot, but since it is take out only, it does not take too long to find one.

The food here was so good! The portion sizes are also huge. I ordered the large lamb gyro and it was very big. My sister ordered a small and honestly, that even would have been too big for me. We also ordered loaded fries, which were amazing, and a serving of baklava. The baklava was light and sweet, tasting of butter and honey. If you have nut allergies be sure to ask or read the label. There is no seating besides a small bench to wait for your food, so be sure to have somewhere to go or be okay with eating in your car. Overall very delicious food for a reasonable price.

Delicious, a little messy but god damn is it tasty. Simple to order, easy to customize. Well worth the stop and easily an upcoming go to place when I’m in town.

Tucked behind the hustle and bustle of downtown College Ave is a delightful, Mediterranean-themed Cafe catering the very best gyros in the area: Josef's! The food is flavorful and bold, the prices won't break the bank, and the staff is always so kind. I absolutely love going to Josef's, every time! My baklava got missed this last time, but it was a fundraiser night, so I don't want my money back! If I could get a baklava sometime, that would be swell 😉

Definitely a delicious place. Once again you have Satisfied and made the day and gave an enjoyable vibe throughout

Gyro and the chicken kabob plate were both very tasty and fresh. The large gyro is very big. Limited seating outside. Will come again.

Gonna go with the Best Gyros hands down!! Ordered a Gyro and a bowl with some chicken Kabobs and was so good!!! Definitely be back again!!!
Corey F — Google review
Carry-out gyro place. The "big" gyro was a generous portion. I'd have been ok with one of the smaller sizes.

Asian restaurant
Mai's Deli is a cozy cafe that offers a variety of Southeast Asian dishes such as Pad Thai and pho for both dine-in and takeout. The interior is simple, clean, and well-lit, providing a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and patient, willing to explain the menu to customers. The Thai Iced Tea is described as perfectly sweetened and refreshing, while the Spring Rolls are praised for their crunchiness and freshness.
Very good food over at Mai's deli. My daughter didn't like the pad Thai, as it was too sour for her taste and one of the managers didn't hesitate to replace the dish with another that pleased her taste buds. She decided to get the drunken noodles with chicken. Everything was well made, and came out quick. This is not my first time here and won't be the last!
Huy L — Google review
Had a friend take me here. I loved the food we got it was tasty, comforting, and flavorful. Was not a fan of the tea. Could have been less sweet, but that is just me! Will be coming again!
Saphire V — Google review
We stopped here specifically for the stuffed wings a few years ago and every time we see a show at the PAC we eat here. Everything from udon noodles, curry, vermicelli salad, pho and so much more. We haven’t had a bad dish here. And the stuffed wings and egg rolls, YUM! It’s a very busy place with take out and dine in but everyone is friendly, and they clear tables off fairly quickly. We had a small wait, but good food is worth waiting for! Highly recommend!
Anna Z — Google review
Absolutely a hidden gem. Not only was the service friendly and warm, (as first timers we had some questions), but the food was delicious. They were able to do some substitutions and it was fresh, fast, and so yummy. The egg rolls were crispy and the chicken wing was grilled beautifully. The fried rice is always a must. I love the tomatoes and onions and veggies in it. Also the pho broth was hot and soul-filling. We will definitely be back!
E F — Google review
Thai small age has an odd parking arrangement but be sure to find a space and enjoy some really good food. The interior is very clean and minimal. There is a large board with options to order from. Noodle dishes, curries, soups and more. I had the stuffed wings, pork egg roll, and the Pho. My partner had the pad se ew. The pho to me was a little one dimensional. I always taste the broth before any additional and the aromatics weren't there from the steam. The pad se ew was Thai styled but still had a wider noodle, and was saucier than Thai style would be. The mains weren't the stars the aps were. What are hands down the best hmong egg rolls in the area, and the stuffed wings were to die for. I will make the trip back I'd only for those again and again. Super polite staff, and quick service made this an excellent lunch.
Lord E — Google review
I was in town visiting and had lunch here with a friend. I had never tried curry before, and he suggested I try the panang curry. It was a nice combo of sweet, savory, and spicy. The stuffed chicken wing was something I hadn't experienced before, and it was delicious! I'll definitely consider stopping in again the next time I'm in the area. Good stuff!
Beware D — Google review
Just ordered lunch to go. I've notice alot of their food especially noodle dishes has less flavors now. Maybe there's new cookers? Noodles were dry and tasteless. Disappointed
Maiv L — Google review
The food? Great. Trying to get through via phone? Impossible. It’s like trying to call your favorite local radio station in 1997 hoping to be the lucky caller to get through. It’s kind of insane. If you’re able to get through to place an order, congratulations. You won. Until next time.

Restaurant
Mill City Public House is a newly introduced restaurant in Appleton that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The ambiance of the restaurant exudes a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The impeccable service provided by the staff, particularly highlighted by waiter Alex, adds to the outstanding experience. Known for serving some of the best burgers in the Appleton/Green Bay area, this establishment offers exceptional daily and nightly menu features.
Upon entering, I noticed the barstools and booths were of the 70's wood/vinyl style and thought "run down and outdated". It couldn't have been further from the truth. All of the booths and stools were in like new condition. Next I noticed the bar/restaurant had a modern type decor and thought "kind of weird ". Again, I was WAY off because the longer I looked at it, the more I liked the mix of styles. I finally decided that whoever designed this, new perfecty how blend the 2 motifs. The blending did not stop there, the chef knew EXACTLY what he/she was doing blending different flavors in everything we ate. We both had iced tea which was good...it went uphill from there. We started with the brussel sprouts and smoked chicken wings, both were delicious. I had the kimchi burger and peanut butter chili made with stout beer. Both of these had my taste buds dancing. The expert blend of flavors in both were something special. My wife had the jalapeño burger and house salad which she said were very good. I added pics of the menu items we had for better description. We started with Alex as a server and ended with Chris as it was shift change. Both were very polite, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Needless to say, we WILL be back!

Great food, great drinks, cozy atmosphere with a touch of Bob Ross 🎨 The bar here is fantastic! I love the design of this place, the drinks are upscale and fancy, but fun. The burgers are seriously top notch, put together well and thoughtfully curated ingredients make for a delicious sandwich. The tater tots are their featured side, and they could be a meal on their own, they are definitely worth the try.

My husband was on the hunt for some chicken wings and read that this place had some of the best in the valley. When we arrived we had just barely beat the crowd of people. Our waiter (Alex(?) I think) was amazing! Very knowledgeable of all drinks, apps, meals, etc. provided guidance on different items that are hits with other diners and we were not led astray! The street corn tots with brisket were amazing, the fresh cilantro really brought the dish together. I got the brisket Mac and cheese, that was also good (very rich) so I got a to go box. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the wings since they were gone in a flash haha but I was told those were really good too!

Had a great lunch today at Mill City Public House in Kaukauna. The food was delicious and the Jackalope decor was fantastic. They kept Bob Ross on one television and Bon Appetite on the other. The service was amazing and we had the opportunity to meet one of the chefs. I had the "an okay burger" by name but it was everything great. We also had the brisket sandwich which was a home run. It was super tender and melted in my mouth. I'll highly recommend this jewel.

100/10 Absolutely phenomenal! The food? AMAZING. The service? Also AMAZING. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The cheese curds were perfectly crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. And don’t even get me started on the smash burgers… juicy, crispy-edged, and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, quick, and made the whole experience even better. Highly, highly recommend, we’ll definitely be coming back!

In town for work this week and wanted a good burger, after a quick google search I landed on Mill City Public House. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had on top of fresh cold beer off the tap. Definitely will be back if I venture back to WI for work again.
Josh W — Google review
Really amazing food. The Mac and cheese has brisket throughout, which makes you realize many places simply sprinkle some on top. The special burger was called Honky Tonk Heart burn or ache, it was great. The OK burger was fine. The brisket French dip was good. Their cheese curds were the best we've had in Wisconsin and the house made smoked ranch was a real surprise hit for us, it was thicker and deeper flavored than the regular like Hidden Valley thinner consistency. Our waiter was super zealous and spoke a lot about the food, possibly too much? Haha It was expensive, but really worth it.
Jeremy — Google review
Nice date night or a drop in for a delicious bite to eat. Check out the appetizers. Lightly breaded, with a perfect crisp, the cheese curds are smooth and creamy, perfect morsels of perfection.

Japanese restaurant
Nakashima of Japan is a creative and modern chain eatery that offers innovative sushi rolls and traditional hibachi grill dishes. The skilled hibachi chef, Nate, delivers excellent culinary skills combined with delightful entertainment. With a great sense of humor, he ensures an enjoyable dining experience. Customers should be cautious to cover their drinks as shrimp tails may unexpectedly fly through the air. The menu features various delectable options such as rib eye, shrimp, scallops, and fillet mignon.
The food and the atmosphere were great. They were very busy, but they got us in quickly. we didn't have too long of a weight. It was like dinner and a show. The chef prepares your food in front of you and entertains you with conversation and tricks. Dinner for 2 will run you about $100.
Jason S — Google review
An enjoyable dining experience, especially if you like showmanship. Abundant and well prepared food by attentive servers. Being on time for your reservations is essential. Parking in their private lot is easily accessed.

Good experience with my son and his cousins. Service was good. The chef did a good job trying to engage the boys. They enjoyed it and ate all their food, except the vegetables of course.
Meng T — Google review
I've heard good things about the hibachi, but we had sushi and the beef tataki when we went and it was very good. Seating and atmosphere were great, service was great, and the sushi was authentic. A bit pricey for what you get, but still very good!
Zayn C — Google review
The food is good, the rest of the experience however is to be desired. The wait was 55 minutes which is pretty excessive, other people seated with us only had to wait 35 minutes which is annoying. Anyway once we were seated our entire table waited for the waiter for about 30 minutes seriously someone must of messed up cause finally the hostess realized we weren't being helped and got us drinks herself. Very unorganized I dont know what happened the people seated next to us were visibly upset. The food was good but the chef was not smiling was not nice. I did not feel he put on much of a show at all. That's what we come here for and wait for is the experience. Oh well, I wouldn't wait 55 minutes again that's for sure. If you want to do a job as a hibachi chef maybe smile learn to make eye contact when your talking and handing out the food just thoughts. Also I seen so many kids which i was surprised about i expected more of like an adult restaurant but just something I observed. They were running all over and playing while fire is going.
Brittany M — Google review
The food was good like usual and our chef Miguel was great but the reason for the 3 star service is for the server. She was nice but kept bumping into everything. She'd slam down a glass and it would clink into another glass and spill a little etc. Slamming things carelessly onto the table happened the entire duration of our meal. I understand it's extremely busy but our whole table noticed.
Eri R — Google review
Amazing hibachi grill. A meal and a show. Worth the price and the meal is tasty too. I love the seafood but all dishes are great, with a sushi appetizer. Nice bar as well while waiting for your table. Worth the wait. 5 stars.
Dylan K — Google review
Okay, this might have been the best sushi I have ever had. I came to visit from out of state, and this was conveniently located right down the road from my hotel. I went to the sushi bar area and the atmosphere was so cool and relaxed. The server was wonderful. Best cocktail I have ever had. It was so good, I brought more people back two days later. I think this will be a new EAA Oshkosh staple when I come every summer.
