Cafe
Bread Alone Bakery is a long-standing family-owned bakery located in the heart of Woodstock. Since 1983, it has been known for its organic wood-fired breads, European-inspired pastries, and cafe fare. The bakery uses only the finest organic grains and wood-fired brick ovens to produce a variety of breads such as French sourdough and peasant bread, along with delectable pastries like croissants, scones, tarts, and Danishes.
Super cute bakery. Was driving home from a weekend away and my friend yelled "STOP!" She had been here before. It was first time - won't be the last. Great treats here and staff is super friendly. I got a sticky bun. My friend left with a big bag of stuff, lol. She was a happy camper, that's for sure! If you are ever in the area - stop and see for yourself.

Delicious bakery and deli options for dining. Their coffee is always delicious as well. I ordered the broccoli salad and it came out quickly. The bread that came with my salad was filling and had comforting flavor. This location almost always has a line on the weekends and there are limited seating options so keep that in mind!

We really enjoyed our breakfast here! It was so good that we had to come back the next day. We tried the spicy green eggs, the pecan-cashew-walnut butter, the ricotta toast and the avocado toast, the friend egg bun and breakfast burrito. The bread is so so good and we bought a loaf to take home. We also bought some pastries and tried the coffee, which were fine, but not the highlight. Service was great. The place was really busy both mornings we were there but we were able to find seats.
Donella H — Google review
The whipped ricotta toast was mind blowing. A lot of places have been doing this but I find the ricotta a lot of times flavorless, but this one was perfectly seasoned throughout, the honey gave the saltiness a nice balance and the squash was perfectly paired into the toast. Needless to say the bread was also incredible and I chose to add egg in it for some extra pop. I loved the breakfast burrito also which was very simple but everything done right which is hard to find surprisingly. I finished with the mocha which was also great too, definitely check this out if in Woodstock.
Elton D — Google review
Amazing pastries and it's evident why they sell out of stuff so fast. The items here are just too good to pass up and are a must try. I was visiting family from Texas. It was my first time trying a Canelé and I was blown away. It was so good that I actually went home and ordered a dozen copper molds to make them myself. And ever since my trip I've been dedicated to perfecting them. My girlfriend also had the ricotta spread on their house toast and loved it!
James M — Google review
Adore this cafe. Great coffee, bread, pastries and breakfast dishes. Friendly staff. Super efficient. Their outdoor seating is a great place to soak in the morning sun and people watch as you sip on your coffee.

Branch coffee place with decent selection of breakfast sandwiches, toasts, cofees and baked pastries. Buckwheat bread is great, so is Vegan Chocolate Spelt Pound Cake - phenomenal!

Mower's Saturday Sunday Flea Market is a long-standing family-run market located on two acres in Woodstock. It has been a part of the town's tradition for 38 seasons and offers a variety of stalls selling everything from books to clothing and home decor. The market is known for its diverse offerings, including artwork, vinyl records, plants, and more. Visitors are advised to arrive early as parking can fill up quickly due to its popularity.
Quintessential Woodstock experience! Amazing vendors with vinyl, candles, crystals, incense, tie-dye shirts, jewelry, fresh local produce, and all the bric-a-brac you could possibly want to browse. It really gets roaring around lunchtime!

What happened to the Hippies? The rediculously overpriced tomatoes ($7,50/box) turned out to be waxed (not vaxxed, lol) and tasted exactly like the watery supermarket variety. It is easy to tell the difference, sucks that people do this. 'From the ground', right.
STUDIO N — Google review
Don’t bother unless you want some vinyls or someone else’s used junk. About 15 “vendors” and a hot dog stand. That was it for what was touted as “the best flea market”. 🙄
SightseeRV — Google review
Best place to be a vendor and experience the people and visitors of woodstock!!! The flea market is amazing curated mixture of vendors that bring so much life to woodstock. I highly recommend.

Small flea market with a 60's vibe throughout. Lots of gems, jewels and spiritual items are offered. Get there early as parking in Woodstock is at a premium on the weekends.

Restaurant
Cucina is a charming Italian restaurant located in a beautifully restored farmhouse, offering modern Italian cuisine crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients. The elegant atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a family meal. Additionally, the adjacent barn provides a perfect venue for various events and celebrations. Just across the street, R&R Taproom offers pre-dinner drinks and snacks, adding to the overall dining experience.
This might've been the best meal I've eaten in my entire life. Went for an anniversary dinner, got a lovely table on the porch. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful with recommendations (I was indecisive, everything looked SO good). The calamari with their aioli was delightful, so light and crispy. We also got the caprina pizza and a risotto special (can't remember what was in it, just that it was creamy and amazing). Cocktails were also sooo good. We will ABSOLUTELY be back the next time we're in the area. <3

Decided to take a day trip to Opus 40, afterwards we darted into Woodstock for a meal. Cucina was the perfect meal, atmosphere was vibrant and folksy, I strongly recommend the porch seating. Food was fantastic.if I’m in the area again I’ll totally visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cucina Woodstock, and I left feeling incredibly impressed. The food was an absolute standout - everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff at Cucina Woodstock were attentive and friendly. They made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Cucina Woodstock. Whether you're seeking a romantic evening or a fun family outing.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area and most definitely in my favorite top five around the globe. I have eaten here many times and every single time the food is exceptional and the staff is welcoming and makes my dining experience amazing. There literally isn't one thing on their menu that isn't absolutely amazingly delicious. They have kept this level of excellence for decades since they opened and not once been less than expected, but better than. A huge thank you to the chef and all his staff in the kitchen and in the diningroom! You all are a constant level of excellence not many restaurants around the globe can say they maintain like you do. 🤘🤩🤩🤘

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for Nicole Puckette Photography this past weekend at The Barn at Cucina in Woodstock, NY, and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had behind the camera in a long time. From start to finish, everything about the day radiated warmth, care, and that unmistakable Woodstock charm. This big old tire lug even cried at one point (beautiful day). The Barn itself is stunning — rustic beams and earthy textures balanced by soft, glowing light that makes every moment feel intimate. The space feels both elevated and welcoming, where guests instantly relax into the atmosphere. As a photographer, I loved how naturally light fell across the room, how every corner offered a backdrop of character and soul. The staff deserves endless praise, I must say. They were attentive, yet never intrusive, and moved with thoughtfulness. I watched glasses being filled before anyone noticed they were empty, plates delivered with genuine smiles, and small details handled with a level of care that made all the difference. And then there's the food — it was out of this world. Every dish was crafted with love, pride, rooted in the flavors of the Hudson Valley and plated with artistry. From the first bites of fresh made pasta to the rich, soulful entrées of chicken and fish, guests talked about the food all night. And me, two days later I'm still talking about it. Guests lingered at long tables, savoring not just the food but a sense of connection it fostered. My hats off to the chef! I love what you do. The Barn at Cucina in Woodstock does not just host weddings — it embraces them. It gave the bride and groom and their family and friends a space to celebrate love, life, the past, present and the future while also creating a sense of community, belonging. By the end of the evening, it was less like a venue and more like a gathering place for something sacred, joyful, holy. If you’re considering Woodstock for your wedding, The Barn at Cucina is a gem. As a photographer, I can’t recommend it enough — it’s a place where love is not only celebrated but elevated, wrapped in incredible service, unforgettable food, and a setting that feels timeless, chic, elevated.

Really enjoyed eating here and sitting at the large table, it was a stunning atmosphere, great food and a nice and relaxing experience. Loved how we were seated at the long table with others, it was really cool to have a hippie commune style experience in a gourmet restaurant.

They were able to accommodate our party of 6 last minute on a Saturday night. Great food and wonderful service. Would return again if we're ever back in the area.
Sarah P — Google review
The ambiance is definitely on the nicer side, where the decor looks elegant, warm, and welcoming. The staff and service were also very nice and speedy! The corn chowder special was tasty but felt a bit lacking where, as you can see in the photo, is only half full. The mussel special on Tuesdays was also a bit small for its price, where we counted around 15-16 pieces for 21 dollars, averaging a dollar and change per piece. The sauce that accompanied the mussel was on the sour side, which I personally would like it to be more garlicky or buttery than sour. The prickly pear yuzu drink was my personal favorite and I highly recommend it! The bolognese ricotta pasta was so incredibly flavorful that I literally couldn't stop eating it...even though it is my wife who ordered it haha. Our server, Briella, was so sweet, kind, and friendly that she literally made our dining experience so much more enjoyable! Our ribeye steak had some issues where it was first over cooked to well-done when we asked for medium-rare. Briella apologized and did her best to remedy it by requesting another one be made. However, the second one came out overly rare and Briella once again apologized profusely, which showed us that she really cared that we got what we requested. She never once argued with us or tried to persuade us that we were wrong, nor was she ever defensive about it; truly illustrating what customer-oriented service really looks like. Ultimately they were able to remedy it and the ribeye came out delicious with its herbed aioli! We want to take this moment to thank Briella for her diligence, care, and consideration in making our meal as perfect as it can be! Thank you, Briella, for being such an amazing server and for demonstrating what exemplary service looks like! We will definitely come back to try their many other delicious looking options! Definitely highly recommend the prickly pear yuzu soda and the bolognese! Thank you so much for reading and best of luck! (:

Performing arts theater
The Woodstock Playhouse, established in 1938, is an iconic theater that has hosted a wide range of artistic performances including plays, musicals, and concerts. It has been a launching pad for many celebrated Broadway and off-Broadway performers. The venue features performances by the Woodstock Symphony Orchestra, Rock Academy students, and core performers during the Summer Stock Season. Notably, The Band recorded Stage Fright with Todd Rundgren at this historic location in 1970.
First time visit and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quaint venue. It almost felt like a private party. Woodstock, of course, is a place like no other and that is why it should be on your go to list!

Today, I went to see Hello Dolly with a friend. This was my first to the Woodstock Playhouse. When you walk in ,you will see artwork for sale by local artists. You will also see the history of the Woodstock Playhouse. All seating had a great view of the stage. The lighting and sound were great. The performance was fantastic. I most definitely will return.

The Woodstock Playhouse is truly a gem to be cherished in the Hudson Valley. I am grateful to the owners who have worked tirelessly to preserve an historic icon, while serving to proliferate and keep the arts and culture alive in the Catskills. I have enjoyed many shows at the playhouse, even more so than on Broadway, for a fraction of the cost. You can see and hear perfectly from any seat in the house. The talent, costumes and sets are amazing. It is worth coming time and again to experience excellent entertainment in a comfortable and friendly environment. Worth the trip from anywhere! You won't be disappointed.

Woodstock Waterfall Park is a charming community park located on the site of a former tannery. It offers a picturesque setting with water cascading over rocks in a brook, surrounded by lush green trees and the sweet sounds of nature. The park is nestled in the Catskills Mountain region, known for its fascinating spots and natural beauty.
Always love stopping by Woodstock and just walking around the Town. Always a good time. It is sad that because of Covid-19 many of the best stores have closed down permanently 😢. Hopefully they will be replaced with new great stores. Peace ✌ ☮ 🕊
James C — Google review
Woodstock is a cute town worth visiting, but the Waterfall Park is private property and accessible to hotel guests only, which is a shame. You can get a view from the side road, but that's about it. The park itself is off limits.
Karel J — Google review
The idea of this is really nice, but there is no access to the "waterfall" itself as it is surrounded by hotels. The viewing platform is there but the view is obstructed by the surrounding tress, you can hear the water falling but definitely don't get a good view during these warmer months. The town of Woodstock is lovely however with much to do!
Samantha B — Google review
There really is no waterfall that anyone can visit or see. Don't waste your time looking for it. The locals say sometime after covid someone put this up and people started thinking there was a waterfall in Woodstock but there isn't. Woodstock has one main street, Tinker street. It's full of shops and boutiques and it's fun to browse and stop and have a drink or coffee or lunch or whatever. That's it. It's a cute little town but that's all they've got. That and a Buddhist temple.
Phyllis ( — Google review
Relaxing stroll around Woodstock is just what the doctor ordered! Colorful town with lots shops and eateries. We visited the artist cemetery and across the way, you'll find Levon Helm's eternal resting place.

Beautiful waterfall with what looks like a bunch of small retal houses around it but under renovation. Not sure if it's more better in warmer months but it was just a quick view before entering the small shopping strip in Woodstock.

Sunfrost Farms, located in the Hudson Valley, is a top retailer of local and organic produce. The farm offers a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and gourmet items. In addition to its grocery offerings, Sunfrost Farm has an eatery where visitors can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals for breakfast and lunch. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, and specials like chicken fajitas and the Turkey Reuben.
This was a fantastic pit-spot for quick lunch on a long drive. And man oh man the food was good. The day was a chilly afternoon, which made for the sandwich and the soup a lethal combo. I was coming from Philadelphia for a fall-hike around the area, and this lunch stop essentially made the 3 hour drive worth it. Must stop here if you're in the area.
Julian T — Google review
The food is okay. I did have some mushrooms that tasted off in my pasta, but the eggs were good. The place is adorable and a good stop off for food. My one issue was that the servers were really incompetent and (intentionally or otherwise) downright RUDE. There were two servers (someone at the register and someone behind the deli counter) and two customers (me, standing, and finally sitting, behind my walker, and another woman, who basically ordered one of every dish in the case. I counted her containers at the end and I believe I counted 13). The guy behind the register just stood there picking his finger while the other server dished out another container. Then another container. Then another container. While I waited. And waited, and waited, and, finally, sat down to wait. With two servers, there is no good reason I should have had to wait for this woman to order and have someone scoop 13 different items! The guy behind the register should have jumped in to help. I waited, because I assumed that the people on register must just not be trained behind the deli or vis a versa. But then, when the woman FINALLY left the deli counter with her many containers, and put them on the register counter to check out with the guy who had just been standing there for 10 min, the guy behind the deli counter (who had waited on this woman for at least 10 min, while I patiently sat), walked right passed me. I thought maybe he was grabbing a water or something. Nope. He went to open a second register, and proceeded to check out a person who had only JUST entered! (and he didn’t not see me. There were only four of us there. We were entirely visible to each other). I nearly left! Truly, I still can’t believe how rudely I was treated, nor do I understand what these men were thinking to treat someone like that! I was about to leave, but I must have stood there gaping at the rudeness, because a woman came out from the back to say “are you being helped.” I said “no. I have not been helped at all,” which is an incredible oversimplification of the rudeness I was shown. I ordered two containers: one egg salad (which wasn’t amazing but not bad at least), the other shiitake mushroom pasta (which tasted off, and I threw out). I really hope that the one employee standing around while the other serves 13 containers next time will jump in and help. And I hope that the other employee will not leave his post and give a cold shoulder to someone who just sat there waiting 10 min, to go help a customer who literally just entered. This is basic decency l, and it was lacking.
Kristy J — Google review
We really enjoyed coming here years ago. Things have changed. This review is for the restaurant. Their produce and products are great. The last two times we went in there, prime time. Restaurant was open, but when got there. That side was closed off? The woman working seemed overwhelmed with just very light business. She told us we could still order and hurriedly gave us a pen and paper to write down our orders instead of taking them. Same short staffed vibe both times. It's summertime you would think they would be cultivating all the business they could. We used to go for the food and the ambiance. If it has become a to-go Place only they should reflect that online.

For the most part this place is pretty awesome. However, today I ordered a power breakfast, and after the person handled money she then “washed” her hands with water and proceeded to cut fruit with her dirty hands. Just water does not clean your hands from bacteria! The staff should be trained and should know to use soap, right?

I ordered pickled habanero drink but could not finish as it was way too spicy and was too thick. It was topped with olives and celery, which was really good. I ordered nachos as well, which were very average. Their beer was nice!

The Pub Burger was great. Took a little more time than id like for the bartenders to ask what we wanted to drink, but not too big of a deal. First time in Woodstock, def going back to check out more spots.

It was lovely.I work from home so getting out of the house and going out to eat is a real treat. Ella’s energy was fun, warm and welcoming. She was our waitress. My partner has the “small” Nachos with chicken. Clearly not an appetizer 😆 it was substantial and really good. He want sure what beer he wanted and Ella brought over tastes for him. I had the club sandwich with French fries and a Diet Pepsi! I love a club and not including that usual third piece of bread in the middle meant less carbs for me. It was a really good sandwich. In addition, she came over, when I was done with the soda if I wanted a refill. I said yes and there was a bit of a delay, before I got too frustrated, she came over to inform me that they were changing tanks. It was a really great experience.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a couple of drinks and appetizers after a beautiful afternoon hike. We chose a very busy Saturday. The streets of Woodstock were filled with leaf peepers and visitors in town for the film festival. When we walked in, things were hopping, and we looked around the bar for a seat or two. We were about to leave when a friendly staff member named Sabrina came and offered to find two bar stools for us, if we didn't mind sitting near the wine. We didn't! She was amazing, friendly and helpful! When we squeezed in, some friendly patrons moved closer together so there was still plenty of room for the waitstaff to get drinks from the bartenders for other customers. We enjoyed some typical pub nachos, and a couple of drinks before moving on. Thank you Sabrina, for making us feel welcome, and finding us a seat!

The Pub is a very good casual dining and bar venue. The decor is basic, neat and clean. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. I had the Beyond Burger, a veggie burger that tasted more like a beef burger than most other veggie burgers. They served it on a very good bun with greens, aioli sauce and squished avocado. It was outstanding. The fries were also excellent. My wife had a shrimp gyro. She enjoyed it very much. There's a public parking lot behind this restaurant that has two level 2 chargers for electric cars. I recommend this place very highly.

My server who said her name was Brittany ruined an otherwise pleasant dining experience. After being presented with my bill, she went to sit down with a table of customers who were friends of hers to chit chat. I had my money ready for her and patiently waited while she socialized for ten minutes with these customers. She finally looked my way and I raised my hand to tell her I was ready. She took my $40 (2 $20 bills) on a $25 tab. I was planning to leave her $6 tip at this point. While I was waiting for my change, she sat back down with these same customers who were obviously friends of hers. I asked her if I could get my change. She disappeared into the back for several minutes. I got up and went to find her because I wanted to leave and she seemed to be in no particular hurry. She comes up to me and starts to hand me a quarter. I said, “I need my change.” She disappeared into the back again and when I tell her I gave her $40, she calls me a liar and said you didn’t give me $40, but here’s $15. She was extremely rude and was acting bizarrely. I told her she’s not receiving any tip at this point because she was so rude and nasty. She refused to give me the name of her manager. Joshua's Cafe is a beloved dining spot that offers a warm and laid-back ambiance, serving farm-to-table global cuisine. The restaurant features both ground level and second-floor dining areas, with the upper level exuding a cozy tree house vibe and housing a bar. The menu has Middle Eastern influences and caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Guests rave about the flavorful dishes, including sandwiches like the salmon burger, open tuna melt, and cheese steak sandwich.
You can tell the food was prepared and cooked with love. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection! The flavors exceeded our expectations. We ordered three sandwiches from the specials menu, salmon burger, open tuna melt, and the cheese steak sandwich. Even their chips and fries were so crisp and delicious, I couldn’t stop crunching on them. My favorite part was actually the chicken tortilla soup, the right amount of kick and flavor. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Sadly this was just a pit stop for us on the road, but if I’m ever in town, this is a must stop for me! Highly recommended ! You won’t leave disappointed.

Great food and service. There’s a ground level dining area and also a second floor. The second level area has a bar and feels like you’re eating in a tree house. If you’re vegetarian you’ll find choices. If you’re not you’ll find choices too! Kind of a middle eastern feel to the menu. The drinks are awesome. I had a cucumber jalapeño margarita and it was amazing! They have high chairs if you have little people with you. Public Parking lot is around the corner and street side parking only.

Good food. Really good service. As we are in the middle of the covid restrictions the tables are outside but they have heat for this Fall so don't worry about it. We tried the fries which we loved and totally recommend. The chicken soup was delicious. They served on paper cups and paper plates due to the pandemic but is just a plus for the health of everybody.

Delicious vegan and meat based meals with great cocktails and beer selections. We had the seitan Fajitas and tofu hot pot. They both had great flavor. Highly recommend Joshua’s to anyone wishing great food by friendly staff.

Checked out this place during Memorial day weekend and the whole of Tinker St/Mill Hill Rd is a bit of a mess if you plan to visit on a major holiday or even Sunday for that matter. Parking is a bit of a challenge, including parking in Municipal parking lots. About this restaurant though... short answer - food is great, service can use a bit of improvement. Either the staff is overworked or not that organized. We had to wait for 8 minutes to be seated and then a few extra minutes to get our menus. However, once we got those, service was good, especially our waitress and server. For drinks we got the Bloody Mary ($9), Lavender Prosecco ($9), and Carrot Juice ($4.5) all of which were great. For lunch, we ordered from their specials menu - Huevos Rancheros ($14), Shish Kebab ($16) and Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad ($14). Food arrived within 20 mins of us placing the order. Overall a good experience and will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting Woodstock!

Highly recommend Joshua's cafe if you want to eat middle eastern food. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious and healthy. The have a lot of veggie food options and meat options as well. Breakfast is also served in this restaurant. Nice wine and drinks menu.

Restaurant
Millstream Tavern is a hidden gem, perfect for a delightful outing with friends. The renovated building offers a comfortable and luxurious ambiance, especially the charming and cozy club room decorated for the holidays. The deck overlooking the stream and golf course provides a beautiful and relaxing setting during warm weather. The menu is streamlined but offers truly delicious food. It's also kid-friendly, providing thoughtful touches like crayons and coloring sheets.
We had a perfect brunch here with a view of the river and live music in the background. They do live music at brunch every Saturday and Sunday which we didn’t know about but was a pleasant surprise! My husband got the breakfast sandwich with a substitute of fries and I got the brioche french toast (this comes with bacon which is the perfect mix of sweet and savory). The hot syrup on the side was a nice touch. I also asked for a fried egg on the side and while it’s not listed they were immediately accommodating. Overall, great service, food, and atmosphere. We’ll be back!

I've visited millstream twice so far, and both visits have been great. The outdoor seating with the view of the stream is so relaxing. First time here for lunch, and the chicken sandwich was phenomenal. The second time came for dinner, and I enjoyed the burger, though I wish they offered more variety on their dinner menu. The service was great. Drinks were well made, and I think this may become my new happy hour spot ;)
Tasia — Google review
The food was very fancy. I am quite picky so I did not enjoy most of the food. The drinks took forever to arrive. The coffee we ordered was cold. I have to cut this restaurant some slack, because it’s Thanksgiving and they seem to be short staffed. Service was not great, the waiters would not come to our table unless we asked. The atmosphere and decor was amazing, though the bathrooms were very cold. In short, I would not recommend to picky eaters, or impatient customers.
Amanda — Google review
The food was absolutely out of this world, especially the fried chicken (Thursday night special). It wasn’t very crowded for a Thursday night, so we were able to enjoy a relatively private meal in the sun room. Beers & ciders on draft were great and the atmosphere was exactly what we were expecting. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience here for dinner! Beautifully designed restaurant inside but we chose to sit on the back patio overlooking the stream. Great food (get the sambal shrimp and the brussels sprouts!) and ambiance but maybe most importantly some of the friendliest and attentive staff. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend visiting the Millstream enough!

We went Sunday night and had a really nice time. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the Salmon Gravlax and Crispy Brussels. Gravlax were stellar - very high quality and nicely balanced with salmon roe. Brussels were just delicious. Bartender made excellent drinks and was super friendly.

We held our rehearsal dinner here and everyone loved it. Food and service were fantastic. Our favorite dish were the grilled wings.

Came for some drinks on the stream. Great view and good service. Drinks are reasonably priced. Beer selection is lacking local options. Good place to watch people tee off and make sure they're keeping that left arm straight 😉

New American restaurant
Restaurant
SILVIA is a stylish restaurant offering contemporary American cuisine served from an open kitchen, along with cocktails and a deck for outdoor dining. The spot was previously home to the famous dive bar Joyous Lake, which hosted legendary musicians like The Rolling Stones and Muddy Waters. After being abandoned for over a decade, sisters Betty and Doris Choi transformed the space into SILVIA. Visitors praise the delicious food, attentive service, and recommend making reservations in advance due to its popularity.
I’ve been here three times and have had a great experience each visit! I’m making sure to FINALLY write a review since they are an absolute must every time I’m in Woodstock. Dishes are seasonal, with fresh, sometimes local ingredients, making their menu perfect for each season we go! I get especially excited for drinks at Silvia, they’re always so tasty and creative! Service is fast, friendly and professional. In summer, the outdoor seating is nicely shaded by nature, which offers a nice break from the sun. In winter, the lounge area is warm, intimate and classy. Looking forward to my next visit, as always!

Loved dining here last night. We sat on the patio with our dog… as the evening turned to night and the lights n lamps were turned on, the place transformed into something even more beautiful than it already was. It was just not the ambience… the food was great and so were the cocktails. Must try the Chicken Schnitzel and smoked beets! The service was quick and yet at a perfect pace. If you are in Woodstock and want to remember one of your evenings, dine here!
Resham M — Google review
The food was good and the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star for me is that nothing really felt special in each dish. The pork chop was great and the richness of everything was well balanced and I can see why the slight bitterness from the vegetable element is placed into the dish, but I’d wish there was more done with this. Simply just charring it wasn’t enough to make it feel relevant to the dish. I felt similar about most of the dishes, although I will say overall it was a good meal and especially for the location it’s a gem in the upstate New York region. The service and atmosphere was great which almost makes it feel wrong to give a 4 star simply because the food wasn’t as great as I believe it could be, but I am basing this on the food alone. I wish I can give it a 4.5 but it’s definitely still a must try if around.
Elton D — Google review
We really wanted to try this restaurant and recently had the opportunity. I have to admit that we were underwhelmed by the experience. We eat out all the time and I've never had an experience like this before. Our issues really come down to the way the restaurant operates and their inflexibility. While I understand that a lot of work goes into developing recipes, in a service business you do need to have some flexibility for the needs of your customers. One member of our party has a dairy allergy, for instance. During our visit they were interested in the prosciutto and apricot starter, but it had goat cheese on it. The restaurant refused to leave the goat cheese out, so we couldn't order it. This was frustrating, as this should have been a simple request. At times their inflexibility was just perplexing. When we arrived for our reservation, we arrived a few minutes early and they weren't yet open. A number of other parties had arrived a little early as well. Instead of inviting everyone in and getting everyone seated, they made all of us wait outside in the sun (some parties with young children and elderly), until they officially opened. In all my experiences eating at restaurants, I have never experienced something like this and it felt almost like they liked making people wait... When we got to the host table to be seated, the host asked the person in front of us if outside was still good for them or if they wanted inside. That party told them outside was still fine. When we got up to the host table, I asked if we would be able to be inside since my parents had been forced to stand in the sun waiting for them to open and were already very hot, and they told me No, there's nothing available inside... With respect to the food, what we had was good, but the food just does not make up for the experience. We would not go back. In all honesty, at several points during our meal we actually considered leaving, which I've never done before in my life. We're very disappointed.

This restaurant is one of my favorite eateries in New York State. We've eaten here before , 4 or 5 times. Always utterly amazed by the taste and quality. Today I had the Savoy cabbage vegan dish and it was unbelievably tasty and hearty. The whipped feta and vegetables appetizer was sooo good. Even those fruit sodas are knockouts. And the setting is so nice and cheerful.

We loved this meal. My sis and I celebrated my birthday with a dinner here and it was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. We were BLOWN away by the quality of the food, particularly the lamb chops, the pasta rags, the crispy chicken. And the whipped butter!! Who knew butter could be so light yet rich and flavorful?! Please eat here, you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel staff... and it was terrific! The atmosphere was lively and fun. Clean. The waitstaff was super friendly and very attentive. The food.... delicious. Had the watermelon salad, trout dinner, olive oil lemon cake. I would recommend these dishes!!!
Nicole R — Google review
Decided to have my anniversary dinner here and let’s just say it really was not special at all. Had to wait about 15 minutes to be sat even though I had a reservation, asked for a booth (maybe they didn’t have any?) got sat at a banquet table between 2 other couples but the host did make it up to us by giving us some celebratory champagne. Food was very fresh and delicious but portions are small. Crazy to say but my favorite part of the whole meal was the honey drizzle on the whipped butter. Ordered 3 different bar drinks, the old fashioned was the best one. Overall it would had been a great experience but our server’s hospitality was terrible. Wasn’t really around much, and when she was, she still didn’t come to the table. As a server myself I always give grace but her service could use some improvement. Ended the night with some dessert, happy to know they were all gluten free! The chocolate mousse was so fluffy and it just melted in my mouth. Would come back but maybe I’ll just sit at the bar next time!

Nestled along the Sawkill Creek, Bearsville Theater is a charming music venue with a rustic ambiance and two onsite restaurants, including the renowned Bear Cafe. Established in 1989 by Sally Grossman, widow of music industry visionary Albert Grossman, this 18,000-square-foot theater has hosted performances by iconic figures like Paul Newman and The Pretenders. Situated within the Bearsville compound financed by Albert Grossman, it offers an intimate setting for live concerts and recording sessions.
The place was great! The price of beverages wasn't too steep. Small venue. Those pictures were from the back. If you don't feel like being in the crowd they have cameras pointing at the stage which feed a bunch of TVs in the lobby where the bar is. The picture of the stream is from the grounds. There's a cafe and a bar on the grounds with outdoor seating if you get there early.

Yes, this is the famous Bearsville in all its rustic glory. We went to see Booker T. Jones and he did not disappoint...but the artist and the theater are two different reviews. Sometimes there are chairs set up on the main floor and sometimes not. This time there was an open floor for standing/dancing. The small balcony at the back of the hall has reserved seats, and that made my experience very good. The sound system is great no matter where you are. There is a large bar in the lobby area but few places to sit while waiting for the show. The theater compound has three restaurant areas to eat before the show. One of the choices is a dive bar with bar food. Not impressive and not very attentive service. We did not try the others (Mexican and Tibetan). They have a large parking lot but only part of it is paved, and pouring rain means mud. Theater staff are quite pleasant and helpful.
Delsie P — Google review
What a great venue with shopping, restaurants and an historic musical walk in the compound. Bearsville is usually standing room with occasional front seating, depending on the artist. The area offers walking trails, quaint shops and a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!
Sharon L — Google review
We visited The Bearsville Theater for the Mountain Goats concert in July. The venue was amazing. The acoustics are so good and the show was even more enjoyable because of it. The ambiance on the Bearsville campus is awesome. Parking was easy, there are so many places to relax, dine, or drink before the show. The venue is under new management and I thought they did a fantastic job. I reached out in advance to confirm ADA accessibility. The staff on the day were already informed of my needs and they had a section set aside for me so that I would be safe and be able to see the show, since it was a standing room only show. Easy to get to the bar to get a drink and overall, even though the show was sold out, we did not feel packed in or crowded. We’ve subscribed to their mailing list and can’t wait to go back and see another show there soon. Cannot recommend this venue enough for an amazing concert experience.

This is one of the nicest venues I've ever been to. Not only is it beautiful and well designed, but it's also clean and appears to be well managed and maintained. The staff we interacted with were all pleasant, and we enjoyed our drinks from the bar as well!

Ari D — Google review
Nice venue, decent lobby/bar area, although could stand to sacrifice that room for more auditorium space. Overall good acoustics and vibes though.
Steven H — Google review
Both modern and rustic, this theater complex is very Woodstock. There is plenty of parking, a small, charming walkway with a couple places to get food and drink (right before the show without moving the car!), and a large outdoor picnic area right on the creek. The theater itself has super friendly staff, a nice open stage with an extra monitor in the lounge to watch, and a big patio. Good acoustics and decent lines of sight. We can't wait to see more shows here!

First time in Woodstock. We loved the city itself, even out of season, but this museum added impressions of the city. Amazing pieces of art from local artists 🙌🏻
Tany Y — Google review
The staff at this venue are helpful and very accommodating and the layout of the museum is very open, which offers very accommodating ateas for artwork to be displayed. However, I think a better job of marketing their local artists could be achieved which in turn would increase local media coverage for them. I have attended two local art shows here and both seemed under attended, despite very heavy foot traffic in the downtown area and the public parking lots, which were packed.
Fran M — Google review
WAAM was, and is, extremely important to me as an artist. It was my first foray into exhibiting, and becoming an active member was a huge milestone for me. I continue to enjoy the shows, and the opportunity to exhibit with great artists from the region. The Focus shows, in particular, have raised the bar for exciting exhibitions. And the events/intakes are a great opportunity to schmooze with the art community of the region. This organization does so much to improve the lives of the community.

Woodstock Music Shop is the best music shop in the area. The smaller Woodstock location boasts a fantastic selection of instruments, vinyl, and accessories. Anything that the Woodstock location might lack can be quickly had at their new Kingston location, which has single handedly put all other local music stores to shame. The staff is very professional and quick to assist, both locations also offer an interesting selection of used/vintage equipment that regularly rotates. Visitors should expect a unique experience when visiting either shop, a breathe of fresh air compared to the "big box" style stores to the north and south.

The KTD Buddhist Center is truly a special place. As the North American seat of the Karmapa and the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, it carries a deep sense of history and spiritual significance. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness. Khenpo Sangye Trinley gave us a wonderful welcome, personally showing us around and sharing insights about the monastery and its profound teachings. The atmosphere was peaceful and inspiring, perfect for reflection and connection. Lunch was also a highlight, delicious and vegetarian, served in the serene setting of the center. Whether you’re visiting for a retreat, a teaching, or just to experience the space, KTD is a place of genuine hospitality and wisdom. Highly recommend!

Thorn Preserve used to be the Loan Oak Dairy owned by a local family. Used to be a large barn in the middle of the field where cows were milked and the milk bottles. Later years the field was leased to farmers who planted corn or pumpkins. The far end of the field, next to the Sawkill Creek, has two large water pipes that carry drinking water down from Cooper Lake Reservoir to Kingston.

This 3,140-ft-high peak features a 1927 fire tower, trails & the ruins of a historical hotel.
A bit of a boring and steep hike but the old hotel ruins and vista at the top is well worth it. Be prepared for a straight ascent all the way to the top, and then a straight descent back down. Trail is well compacted and not too busy. Dog friendly as well. We did see a big rattlesnake on the way back down, so be careful!
Kev Z — Google review
A nice incline for 2.5 miles up past the hotel ruins to fire tower. In the summer this hike can be brutal; as the wide trail is primarily in full sun, and it’s a very stead incline the entire way. Precipitation brings the chance you may not see anything when you reach the top. Running down no matter the weather is my favorite however.

Awesome hike to an even better view! Hiked in the night before and camped at Echo Lake. Not the easiest hike but take plenty of pit stops to check out your surroundings and you'll get to the top. Going up was brutal. Going down was a breeze. Didn't see and rattlesnakes but definitely be cautious.

I did this 4.6(supposedly 5) mile up and back hike in 2 hours with a break up top to enjoy the view and climb the fire tower. Pretty spectacular. 1400 feet of elevation according to Strava. Small parking lot. Enjoy
Karl P — Google review
Popular, clearly defined carriage-road trail with 3 main attractions - 1. Resort ruins 2. Fire watchtower 3. Overlook viewpoint. Moderate difficulty hike with beautiful views and a good chance of seeing natural wildlife, picturesque scenery & friendly hikers. Trail & parking becomes very busy on the weekends & holidays. Recommend about 3 hours for moderate hikers to complete. Enjoyable for all ages.

Definitely a beautiful look out. Moderate hike to get to the top.You will also see a fire tower in an old Stone ruin of an old hotel that used to be back up there in the days.Definitely a must see if you are into finding old stuff.

Overlook is great but Fire Tower gives you best view 360 degree.

I was born an raised in Mt Tremper. This was my favorite hike growing up. The views are phenomenal. Every time I get back to NY to visit family this hike is on the list. This is a wonderful place to hike alone, with friends, and family. Make sure to wear proper hiking gear so you don't get hurt. This hike will give you a workout but it is worth every minute. It is about 2.5 miles long. As others have mentioned by others be careful of snakes. There are hotel ruins on the way to the top that you can get some photos of as well. I hope you enjoy this mountain as much as I have been able to over the years.

Asian fusion restaurant
Yum Yum Noodle Bar in Woodstock offers a laid-back atmosphere and serves up Asian street food and Japanese noodle bowls, along with a selection of cocktails. The customizable noodle bowls allow guests to tailor their flavors to their liking. The menu is frequently updated with seasonal specials, ensuring the best and freshest ingredients are used. With locations in Kingston, Red Hook, and Woodstock, this spot is a staple in the Hudson Valley.
This is our go-to spot for a delicious quick meal on our way to or from the Catskills. The Ramen with coconut curry broth and pork belly is divine. Service is always friendly and efficient. The food and drinks are dependable. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the patio on a pleasant summer evening.
Matt M — Google review
They had a very good selection of vegetarian options, including their homemade seitan to add to any dish. The seitan was juicy and not tough. I most enjoyed the bibimbap and the “drunken noodles”. The atmosphere here was amazing.

Nice spacious space. Pet friendly outdoor patio space. Got a daily wrap for $13. It was simple, tasty and filling. Quite a lot of quantity. The chicken was heavy and was well cooked. Also got the veggie dumpling, was Okayish. A decent spot overall.

Yum Yum Noodle Bar Actually Lives Up to Its Name Spent the weekend driving an hour each way to this place every day. Yeah, we’re mental but it was worth it. That salad with the tofu and nuts was better than expected, everything tasted fresh. The seafood soup was mental good though, proper creamy coconut broth with prawns. Bao buns were spot on, soft as anything with pickled veg on top. Had the pork belly rice bowl with a fried egg which was basically heaven on a plate. Tacos were decent too, loads of filling and some kind of sauce drizzled over. Went back three days running which we never do. Everything we tried was good and didn’t break the bank either. If you’re near Woodstock just go, honestly.

We were starving after a long Fall hike. Yum Yum Noodle Bar was the perfect remedy. We had ramen, and red curry seafood soup. Both were delicious. They have a lovey outdoor seating area. Service was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our time here.
Brett S — Google review
Well there is good service here and I had good food as well but it is quite mediocre. I think when trying to do so much sometimes, the messaging or theme can be lost. Like the grounding part of it all. I love Asian cuisine and Yum Yum tried however there are great vegan options which I appreciate. The Thai Iced Tea with coconut milk was good. I enjoyed the Seitan Bao Buns. The curry ramen was lacking in flavorful, goodness and heartiness. Not my favorite but filled me up. The Seitan Korean Tacos were also tasty as well as Kale Salad so as an appetizer spot it’s solid but theory lost me on the entrees because the tofu dish was just straight up watery.

Stopped in with our dog. Everything was very good. I enjoyed the steam pork dumplings and braised pork tacos. Very generous portions sizes for appetizer small plates. The amount of braised pork per taco was excellent. They serve good sized bowls for large/extra large breed dogs. I would say its a good meal for a 50-60# dog. Im sure the noodle bowls are incredible!

My chicken Pad Thai was disappointing. It’s not stir fried, chicken was not freshly cooked, was pre chilled chicken add on to the noodles. Pad Thai was swimming in peanuts sauce almost like a noodle soup.

Italian restaurant
Sharkie's is a laid-back eatery that specializes in a variety of homemade meatballs served in different styles, along with grab-and-go snacks and condiments. While all the meatballs are gluten-free, the establishment itself is not entirely gluten-free, so there may be a risk of cross-contamination. However, efforts are made to prevent this as much as possible. Customers have reported positive experiences with accommodating staff and delicious food suitable for both adults and kids.
Delicious!! We have gotten food from here about five times now. The meatballs are amazing. My favorite thing to order is the open faced garlic bread sandwich with provolone and meatballs. The salad is really good too and has pickled onions and a tasty balsamic dressing. My family and I love this place. A must try if you are near Woodstock.
Kristyn M — Google review
I had been meaning to try Sharkie’s for some time now, but parking in Woodstock has always intimidated me. This day was different. Having already played hooky in order to deepen my suntan, I was feeling daring. On top of that, I had pushed the limits of my complexion for hours without so much as a snack, so I was feeling terribly hungry. When I walked into the meatball shop, I was showered with smiles. I immediately felt at home (a lot of people actually think I’m Italian). I ordered my sandwich and then perused the pantry section while I waited. Wow! I don’t know who is in charge of curating Sharkie’s snack selection, but they are on the cutting edge of potato chip market research. I snagged a few bags, along with some freshly canned local beers. There was plenty of seating inside by the time my sandwich was ready, but it was such a beautiful day. Not only that, but I prefer not to eat indoors when I am sweaty (in part because I prefer that others do not, and I abide by the Golden Rule). I took my food to go and headed out onto the sunny street, but there were tourists on the one bench in sight. I kicked them off so that I could enjoy my birthright and my meatball sub while continuing my tan. Yum. As they say in Italian, “Manga!”

Love this place and the ladies that work here! There’s a reason why so many in town continue to come by weekly. Never a disappointment! If you’re in Woodstock it’s a must stop !! Vegetarian options too! Pasta is my go too! Servers are outstanding !

Charlie S — Google review
This is by far the most bland meatball sub iv ever had. Absolutely no flavor. I could buy any frozen meatball and jarred sauce and put together a better sandwich than this. I honestly don’t understand how this place has this high of a rating. The service was great and the girl up front was very nice.
Lamb C — Google review
This establishment displayed outright racial discrimination toward me. After entering eager to try the food, I politely explained to the young woman named Autumn, at the front that I had just had a tooth pulled. She kindly helped me select my order, which I paid for in full. While waiting for my friend’s order, I sat down to TRY to take a small bite at the counter. Almost immediately, a male employee named Trevor, rudely ordered me not to eat there. I complied and repacked my food to go. Seconds later, that same employee openly served two white women seated less than three feet from the very spot where I had been told to move. As an African American paying customer, I was singled out and humiliated — treatment that was blatantly racist, discriminatory, and indefensible. This wasn’t a misunderstanding; it was a clear double standard based solely on race. No person should ever experience such conduct in any place of business. I strongly urge the public to hold this establishment accountable and reconsider supporting it until meaningful action is taken against this kind of behavior.

Mexican restaurant
The Bear Cantina is a charming establishment renowned for its New American cuisine and picturesque location alongside a stream on the premises of Bearville Theater. If I had the ability, I would give this restaurant 10 stars! When our wedding plans had to be rescheduled, we were in search of a venue in Woodstock to host our rehearsal dinner. Familiar with The Bear Cantina from previous visits, we knew it was the perfect choice.
Everything was so delicious and fresh, I was really surprised as I came here on a whim from spending the day at animal sanctuary nearby! Currently dreaming about the delicious and hugely portioned impossible enchiladas all the way from the Bronx right now!! The ambiance outside is very beautiful as well and our waitress was very attentive!

The Bear Cantina is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. It is colorfully decorated with a wall of windows overlooking a stream, and a fireplace if you feel a chill. The guacamole is amazing. Drinks are good as well. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Service is great.

A restaurant in Woodstock with a very beautiful location, you can eat very well and have the pleasant sound of a stream next to you. I definitely recommend it to everyone who is going to do the Catskill routes.

Huge fan of this place! The Mexican food is terrific, and I really like the margaritas, too. And the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They were very good with our little one, they brought a high chair and were very friendly with him. And the price is right too! Definitely a place to return to.

Really wonderful Mexican food. Loved the elote app and my burrito. Servers are so friendly and accommodating. Even though they had a huge party being hosted in the restaurant they still checked on us frequently. We sat outside with our pup. This place is dog friendly with ample seating on their back patio! Highly recommend!

The Bear Cantina is one of our favorite restaurants - you know that one you go to when you aren't in the mood for trying something new and just want to go somewhere you know you'll like? We've probably visited this place more than any other local restaurant, and that's because we enjoy it every time. I haven't had a bad meal here - all the things we've tried are tasty. My wife loves the tacos, and I like the nachos a lot. All of the varieties of margaritas are great, too. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the creek is so relaxing when the weather is nice, but the interior has beautiful outside views too and a cozy fireplace for when it's too cold for the deck. The service has also been perfect each time. It's a really cool location and a reliable spot to go to for a great evening out.

Delightful, clean and prompt service. Friendly staff. The food was fresh and vibrant with flavor. Steak Fajitas and the Jalepeno Rollanos and the Presidente Margarita. Everything was served hot and flavorful. Then the view, wow! The interior was beautiful, well decorated and clean.

Dixon Roadside is a barbecue spot in Woodstock, brought to you by the team behind Phoenicia Diner. The outdoor dining area includes a covered patio and picnic space. The menu offers various meat options like brisket and pulled pork, along with daily specials and vegetarian choices such as an oyster mushroom banh mi. Don't miss out on their molasses and thick-cut bacon baked beans.
This pop-up dinner was very unique with the Cheez-it theme. The menu was reasonable all made with Cheese -it cracker recipes. It has take out and sit in service and we had chicken tenders with biscuit dinners and a shakes. The chicken was very good and the shake tasted amazing (other items available) The restaurant is so busy that you can easily wait 2 hours before service at take out alone. ( They do cut off the lines to limit late time service). The experience was fun and they have a free cheese-it sample bar, a cheese-it photo station and a merchandise area to save the memories and pass the time away.

Stopped by because the food sounded delicious based on the menu. We had the buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn bread. As well as the Dixon burger with fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing ! The hot honey and chicken are to die for! Would recommend to anyone if you’re in town or live close by ! Great selection of draft beers as well.

I absolutely love this place! The building and design are fantastic. While I'm more into the sides than the protein when it comes to BBQ, everything here is delicious. I'm particularly glad it's not on the main street in Woodstock, as it provides a peaceful escape from the constant hustle and bustle. The vibe is simply great!
Jamie L — Google review
Sweet roadside spot in Woodstock/the Catskills. Love the building, so we had to stop in for a mid-afternoon local beer and some fries. Both great! One improvement would be to teach the servers about the local products served. I feel they were under informed and under enthusiastic but definitely friendly. We were there after lunch and before dinner so it was not crowded. Great prices and atmosphere.

First time in Woodstock and first time having dinner in Woodstock. And Dixon Roadside did not disappoint. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for family, friends or even coming in for date night which I did with my boyfriend. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Everything I loved about this place - comfort food, good portion side meats and sides, and the best of all - good selection of cocktails and beers.
Eugenia K — Google review
This was a great find in the Catskills! Casual BBQ, great for families too. We really liked everything we got (pulled pork, fried chicken sandwich, brisket and all the sides). I also appreciate everything they were doing to make sure it was safe during Covid (masks, sanitizer, markings on floor, reminder to stay 6ft apart). Best part was the outdoor dining area with tables spaced apart both under a roof and picnic tables under trees. They also have a separate take out window. Will definitely visit again!
Connie G — Google review
So glad my gf and I stopped and tried this place after a nice hike. The food was amazing. We had a burger, a chicken sandwich with sides of Potato wedges and an amazing tasting biscuit. We also had an amazing desert that was basically local Ronny brook soft serve ice cream with apple cider and cinnamon. They also have a great local beer variety. I ordered an IPA on tap (forgot to ask what companyit was) and my gf ordered a limeade type drink. Both fantastic. The atmosphere was very cool. It's very open, like a giant garage with 2 of the doors open for outdoor patio seating. And a nice bar on the inside. Hope to make it up to this place again this summer. Chill music choices too.
Matthew H — Google review
Great atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. However, the food sadly does not match the great ambiance and charm of this establishment. I got the brisket which was very dry, too dry. The corn muffin lacked much flavor. The steak fries also lacked flavor and were more like wedges. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection! However, I could only taste salt so I only had 1. The mashed potatoes were flavorless as well. The mac and cheese was the only item having any flavor. Maybe it was an off night as other reviews seem more favorable and it is a popular spot. On the plus side, they are extremely dog friendly! The staff were extremely kind as well. Would give the food one star and everything else 5 stars.

Please disregard the negative review. This couple exemplifies kindness and professionalism. The husband purchased stunning jewelry for a birthday gift but decided it wasn't the right style and returned it for store credit. Due to the chaotic circumstances caused by Covid, he forgot about it until a year later when he reached out with an inquiry. Despite this long delay, the store owners were incredibly understanding and went above and beyond to assist him.
It's a gorgeous store....owned by two of the lovliest people you could hope to meet. Jeanette's enthusiasm for the art on display and the artists who've created these objects is infectious. Every slow lap around the store is a visual and tactile feast, revealing something new and interesting each time. Just a beautiful experience. THANK YOU!!

Please don't believe the negative review. This couple is some of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of giving my business to. My husband bought me some jewelry for my birthday that was beautiful just not my style. He returned it for store credit and handed that to me.....well things got hectic with Covid and I totally forgot! I returned a year later with nothing but an inquiry and they were so incredibly gracious. The store owners looked through their records and found my husband's purchase and made me a new return credit receipt. They were so helpful throughout the entire process and helped me pick out something that was more me! Go check them out :)

My cottage that I paid $5500 for upfront before I got there so I had no way of inspecting it and I made the terrible assumption that it was clean, rodent free, termite free and most of all lyme tick free. Sadly it was not and I contracted the most serious case of Lyme disease from having been bitten there numerous times because they had No warning signs, no disclosures about it and they remain unaccountable to this day six years after my artist residency that I unfortunately paid a fortune for again assuming they took appropriate care of the premises. They never exterminated! I told them multiple times when I was thrrr they the cabin was infested with mice, termites and most importantly Lyme ticks and they could care less in fact the front door had lost it’s screen and they refused to put another one in! As a result I spent five years bedridden and almost died from having such a heavy pathogen load of Lyme and despite my multiple attempts to call and talk to them they refused to return the calls having no regard for my life, human life, a paying guest’s life in a cabin that could be described as a toilet! And a very dangerous one! My life will never be the same and now I have chronic very serious Lyme disease as a result of their gross negligence! I am suing them! Byrdcliffe used to once be a special place for artists now it’s a dump, a dangerous dump please DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE OR EVEN ATTEND FOR FREE UNLESD YOU WANT TO GET LYME DISEASE WHICH NEVER GOES AWAY AND BE BEDRIDDEN FIR YESRS ON END AND THERE IS NO CURE!’ FO NOT ATTEND AT ANY COST! Stopped by for lunch today - Friday afternoon. Only one other table was occupied at the time. Great restaurant appeal from outside and in. Entrance is beautiful and elegant. Nice, clean bathroom(one). Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Ordered a French onion soup(came out less than 2 min after order placed) and a Ruben. Soup presentation was 10/10, Looks picture worthy. Quality? Not a bad French Onion but nowhere near my expectations after looking at the pictures online, and SEEing what was brought out. The look of it made my expectations high. Turns out, they put a slice of cheese on top, and torched it to melt and blacken(no bake/broil possible in the time it took them to make it. 5/10 soup (I’m very critical of my food so don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, but not what I’d expect after looking at the pictures of their food online). The Ruben was slightly overpowered by sauerkraut, they put it on both sides of the bread. There was a part of the sandwich that was just bread and sauerkraut, no meat(1/4 of sandwich). Sweet potato fries? 10/10. This was my favorite part of the meal. Not sure how the vibe is here on a weekend or a busy time. Involving drinks into the experience may have you overlook little discrepancies in the meal but I’m a foodie. I pick where I eat based on reviews and pictures. My opinion isn’t driven by drinks and the “quality of time spent here with company”(I’m usually just stopping for a lunch break while working on the road). I rate a place based on food and service. Waitress was quick to come up and serve me, friendly and provided input when I asked for it. Not bad for the price, I’m curious how a different meal would have changed in my experience, but that’s a thought for another day if I’m back in this area. 6/10 overall. Rounding it up to 4/5 stars. Didn’t have anything totally ruin my experience to give a mediocre rating, but honestly expected more from the pics and reviews that I saw.

100 out of 10!!! Beautiful atmosphere, great service, friendly hostess/waitress named Isabella recommended us the most delicious dishes and cocktails 🍹 first time tried the coconut margarita and it was amazing. Will definitely come back as this place just stole our hearts ❤️

We were visiting Woodstock with a large party, and an online search yielded Allison's as one of a few well-rated spots that would not only be open to large groups, but also welcoming to a pet who was traveling with us. The restaurant is homey and cottage-like, both inside and out. The menu has a diner-like variety and everyone from our youngest to our oldest eaters found something they wanted. Everything across the board was decent and well-seasoned. Feeling particularly peckish, I ordered their cheeseburger hero, which turned out like a classic chopped cheese sandwich. I really appreciated the warmth and flexibility of the service here. The members of our party were arriving at all different times, but our waitress was quick to drop by our table and collect orders from the newest arrivals. We have a few picky eaters in our group, but the kitchen was open and welcoming to their modifications. Other servers kept our water glasses filled, and sizable lollipops were doled out to all the kiddos in our groups at the end of our meal (to their great delight).

From the moment I walked into the restaurant, the experience was excellent. The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive, which made me feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was clean, pleasant, and cozy, with a simple yet warm décor, highlighted by thoughtful details like small flower arrangements on each table. As for the food, every dish was a delight with every bite. I tried eggs with beans and salsa, perfectly balanced: the rich flavor of the beans, the freshness of the salsa, and the touch of cheese created a spectacular combination. I also enjoyed a ham and melted cheese sandwich that was simply succulent and full of flavor, with an irresistible creamy texture. The coffee deserves a special mention: aromatic, strong, and delicious, the perfect companion to breakfast and a great way to finish off the meal. In summary, this place combines great service, quick attention, a spotless and inviting environment, and flavorful, generous dishes. Definitely a spot I will return to and recommend without hesitation.

Food was delicious! My husband ordered the filet and shrimp special, the sauce was amazing, if they sold it in jars I would have brought some home with me. I ordered the chicken panini and a white sangria, so tasty and very filling. We did have to go find someone to seat us when we arrived, everyone seemed to be very busy. Totally understandable with a small business but I don't remember seeing a sign when we walked in like wait to be seated or we will be with you shortly, which would have been good. We made the drive from West Shokan and it was definitely with it. If I visit the area again I will definitely go back for another meal!

Quaint little restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. The decor was pleasing the food. On the other hand, stunk cold we run at the Italian wedding soup tastes like I just took it out of a can. It was tepid at best warm pasta. Pastina was mushy. I ordered seafood fried Diablo. The sauce was overpowered by sugar. The calamari. The shrimp was a little tough. My granddaughter got the scallops with mashed potatoes. Scallops were a little tough overcooked mashed potatoes or bland tasteless. They need a new cook. Simple

2nd time we've been here for breakfast and both times we all had great meals. Today I had the Avocado Toasty with iced coffee (with added oat milk). The place was busy but we were served timely. Prices comparable.

Restaurant
Located in Woodstock, Garden Cafe offers a unique dining experience with its vintage decor and seasonal outdoor seating. The cafe is known for its delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, including options with meat substitutes like tofu and tempeh as well as vegetable-heavy plates. Visitors can enjoy a variety of sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and desserts along with hot chocolate and tea. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of this 100% vegan cafe.
My first time here but my wife was here years ago. We had friends going to the Colony so we had an early dinner at Garden Cafe. It’s located in a great location in the town center. We went about 4:30 on a Friday. It was about half full but we got a table at the front window. The menu options are very varied and creative vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. We had looked at the standard menu online but we all ordered off of the extensive daily specials menu. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos which came with a side salad, my wife had the vegan lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and sauteed kale. Our friends ordered seared tofu with polenta, which also came with the sauteed kale. Everyone was thrilled with their choices. While each being very different and plated up nicely, no one wished they ordered differently. We were all full and ordered the apple crisp with a scoop of a cashew based vanilla ice cream on top! A great experience and we’ll go back and try something else next time. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Garden Cafe in Woodstock is an absolute gem! The place is super cozy and inviting, with a lovely outdoor seating area. This place is the perfect spot to relax and savor a delicious meal. The Buffalo tofu wings were absolutely incredible! They were spicy and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cover with a tasty magnificent sauce. I’ve had some really good vegan food, but these were definitely some of the “best” I’ve ever had ✨. I also tried the portobello panini, and it was amazing. Hearty, savory, and perfectly grilled with fresh ingredients. You can really tell they put a lot of care into everything they serve. Their tea selection is also worth mentioning. I had a fragrant herbal blend Mayan Chai that was so soothing and paired perfectly with the meal. If you’re looking for delicious plant-based food made it with love in a peaceful setting, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back! 🐶 Pet friendly 🌱 Organic Plant Based 👩🏻‍🌾Support Local producers ☀️ Outdoor & Indoor 🚫Non GMO 💜 You must try “Mayan Chai” pot of tea

So good we had to go back the very next night! It’s rare that I want to give a restaurant more than five stars. The Garden Cafe is the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s also one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in years. What makes it special is a unique blend of flavors that will have your epicurean palate trying to figure out what the chef did to so surprise and delight your taste buds while they bask in an afterglow of yumminess. The first night we had the cauliflower steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, the Garden Bowl w/seared tofu & pesto sauce with spinach tomato polenta with sautéed greens and a Greek salad. All were perfectly stunningly delicious. The second night we had the cauliflower steak again, the Greek salad again, the garden bowl with seared tempeh and an amazing lasagna. Also cheese cake dessert. We can’t wait to go back again!

Loved this place! Mushroom tacos were awsome. Great atmosphere. Our waiter was a pro, a real natural, one of the best in the area. ( this coming from someone who spent decades in the restaurant businesses) . One of the few places with a gluten free beer. Can’t be beat Tacos & Beer! A personal welcoming feeling rare in the business now. The crowd at lunch all seemed happy even the dogs!

Spectacular. The only problem with this place is that there’s too much delicious food to choose from! We indulged in the cashew brie special appetiser and it was easily the best vegan cheese I’ve ever eaten! Photos are from our visit 10/10/25

Asian restaurant
Good Night is a fantastic Asian restaurant located in Woodstock, offering a great outdoor dining experience near the town center. The food is of exceptional quality with a wide selection of items to choose from. The restaurant provides a beautiful space both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for dining on a nice day. The service is top-notch and very attentive, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Customers have raved about the delicious 5 spice duck breast and the half-off oyster night special.
Good night is a beautiful restaurant, with friendly service, creative cocktails, a great wine list and, most importantly, really good food! I appreciate the fact that they always have a few vegan options and a frequently changing menu. It also has a large bar area, which is nice for solo diners or those just grabbing a small bite or a drink. It is on the pricier side, but portions are big - in fact, I’d suggest maybe sharing apps, not ordering individual ones and I’d say it’s worth the higher price.

I went to Good Night with my husband and daughter. It was a hot summer evening and we sat inside and it was very well air conditioned. I was thinking that I should have brought a scarf tbh. The Interior was generally very pink. Pink chandeliers and pink velvet bench seating. We had a nice host and were immediately greeted by our server/bartender Dave. We ordered the Chicken dumplings as a starter and had some lovely cocktails. We thought the apple mezcal one was the best. Dipped Apple?? We had as the main the whole trout and Korean Beef BBQ x 2. The food was good and tasty, the nori was a tiny bit stale but this could be attributed to the trip from the kitchen to the table, it was a very humid night. In retrospect I would have appreciated a bit of direction in regards to the menu. My daughter and I could have easily shared a main and then had more room for random delicious veggies. That would have been ideal. But I get it, the customer decides . We also had a kind of lemony pie for dessert which I liked very well and a generously poured Fernet as apperatif, very nice!! The coffee was hot and available for after dinner. Dave was an excellent server, Zoe also visited our table and Angus too. Lovely and courteous staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Good Night! I had the fried shrimp, poached chicken dumplings and grilled trout. While every dish was delicious- the trout was unquestionably the start of the show! The staff were wonderful, the ambience was cozy and the food was delectable.

It was our first time in woodstock and we found this place on google but me and my family had no idea we need a reservation. So we ended up having just drinks. Loved the atmosphere and drinks. Cant review the food as we didnt eat there. But def make reservations if you are reading my review.
Neha N — Google review
Cons: Food was very average at best, honestly. And this is coming from someone who lived in Asia for years. Huge portions though. Steak was cold and overcooked. Korean bbq inedible. Appetisers are better than entrees. Food lacked flavour. Very strange that it’s highly rated. But I guess its the only Asian cuisine in the area. Pros: Incredible mocktails. Service, interior and the outdoor garden were impeccable. The outdoor terrace is beautiful—highly recommend sitting there.

From the outside, you’d never guess what a gem this place is—just another ordinary Woodstock building. But the moment you step inside, it’s like a whole different world: modern, chic, and artsy with both beautiful indoor dining and a gorgeous outdoor patio. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had a reservation and were seated in less than five minutes. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We ended up sharing everything family-style and I’m so glad we did. For starters, we tried three appetizers—crispy tofu, shrimp, and the corn fritters. All were amazing, but the corn fritters were the star of the show and had everyone at the table raving. For mains, we split the noodles, lemongrass chicken, and a Korean beef dish with lettuce wraps. The chicken stood out as the favorite with its incredible sauces, but honestly, every dish was delicious. The drinks were just as memorable. A few of us had cocktails and wine—I ordered the spicy passionfruit margarita, which was perfectly balanced and so flavorful. This is one of those restaurants where everything just clicks: the food, the service, the ambiance. An absolute must-visit, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! The Crispy Wild Shrimp & Shishito, Poached Chicken Dumpling, and Crispy Panko Chicken Katsu were all absolutely delicious. Our waitress was beyond friendly and super accommodating, which made the experience even better. The vibe of the restaurant is so cool and modern — a perfect spot for an amazing night out. Highly recommend!

This is a cozy and inviting restaurant. The staff is kind and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the French Onion Soup, Skirt Steak, and Chicken Breast- which had a tarragon sauce and was easily one of the best sauces I've ever tasted. Tasty inventive food. My scallops with corn chowder was out of this world. The lamb chops were super yummy. The shrimp ceviche appetizer alternative hit all the right spots. The Manhattan and whiskey sour were perfect. Love half bottles of wine, which we had as well We were too full for desserts, but they looked fantastic. The only thing that was not perfect about the whole night was that the people who had the table before us overstayed their time way too long. Really dislike discourteous self indulgent diners! The host found us another table and comped our drinks and was so nice about the whole thing.

We had an outstanding experience at The Red Onion in the Woodstock area! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I started with The Red Onion Caesar salad and had the Long Island duck breast as my entrée—both were perfection. My mom enjoyed the roasted beet and arugula salad and the Roasted Bell & Evans chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, which she raved about. The margarita was very good, perfectly complementing our meal. For dessert, we had the Italian-style ricotta cheesecake, and it was also very good. Highly recommend!

Our recent dining experience at The Red Onion Restaurant & Bar was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a beautiful space exuding warmth and elegance. The attentive service throughout the evening added to the overall enjoyment. Starting off with cocktails, each sip was crafted to perfection. The Thai mussels were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The scallops, cooked to a buttery perfection, paired wonderfully with the creamy risotto. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the steak, cooked medium rare and complemented by a rich, flavorful sauce. Every bite was a delight! Overall, The Red Onion exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the Woodstock area.
Lysa P — Google review
We have been dining at The Red Onion since it opened around 2002. Until now, I've always appreciated the great service and delicious food. My friends and I had a 5:30 reservation at a very busy, upscale restaurant. The service during dinner was outstanding and our food was very good. We ordered after dinner drinks which took a little while to get. The hostess placed the bill on the table while we were still enjoying them. She stopped twice and we told her we were not finished quite yet. The third time she came over and said "we need this table"!!! At no time during the reservation process or upon arrival were we told our time at the table would be limited. Being rushed out after a full dinner, drinks, a tab around $300, and as long time, loyal customers was humiliating and embarrassing for us and even for our great server. It is unacceptable to treat guests this way. The hostess apologized when she saw that we were upset. It was not sincere. Although it won't matter whatsoever, I will never return. I have dined all over the world and have never been asked to leave a restaurant. A fine dining experience should never end with guests feeling pushed out the door.

Non-profit organization
Maverick Concert Hall is a historic music venue located in Woodstock, New York. It is home to the oldest continuous summer chamber music festival in America, featuring classical concerts in a rustic structure dating back to 1916. The Mavericks Music in the Woods concert series runs from late June through September, with performances held every weekend. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and also has food and drink concessions available during events.
This is a gem of a concert hall in Woodstock. A variety of music can be heard between Memorial Day and Labor Day on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Tickets are very reasonable. Come join us for the season or individual shows.

A singular music venue tucked into the woods just outside the town center of Woodstock NY. Built by hand in the early 1900s to host classical chamber music as part of a local utopian community, it has good intimate acoustics, and the programming includes jazz, ethnic musics, singer-songwriters and children's fare as well as classical ensembles. First-rate, and especially worth supporting given the recent Federal snatch-back of funding they had earned.

A concert at the Maverick is the cutest way to fall in love with chamber music (again). There are few places more beautiful and peaceful than this in the world of live music. If you haven't been, you must!

I loved this cute place in the middle of the woods! I went there in 2016. The exhibit was really nice: paintings, clothings and different artworks. Hannah, the woman in charge was so welcoming and sweet. We had an amazing time chatting. They sometimes organize events (indoors and outdoors). Station Bar & Curio is a classic-feeling bar located in Woodstock, offering a great spot to grab a drink. The establishment features a pool table, jukebox, and spacious outdoor area with tables. It has an interesting history as it was built by the Ulster & Delaware Railroad Company in 1900 and now hosts live music every weekend. The bar attracts a local crowd and offers unique cocktails like one made with mushroom-infused local gin.
Sooo great - this is a must stop! Owners are there often and know their patrons so it feels very homey. Lots of different areas to sit inside and outside. We didn’t eat but had wonderful conversation and craft cocktails.

Either very cool or very uncomfortable depending on what you are looking for. With a group it could be a cool eclectic experience as an out of towner (who I assume read these reviews). Don’t go as a single female. Even at happy hour it was uncomfortable experience start to finish. Agree with other reviews describing local vibes and drug culture. To each their own therefore 4 stars as it’s a unique space if I was with a group - but truly 1 star for me.

Simple ingredients like watermelon, feta and olives or char and lentils have no business being this good. Whatever voodoo the kitchen is employing is working. Absolutely insane dishes from top to bottom. This place is off the charts, cannot recommend enough.

Dog-friendly and people are friendly. Warm and inviting. Small inside, but large outdoor seating with occasional live music in the evenings. Rustic in nature. There's not much food to speak of.... just a short menu, bar food. But check out the amazing views from this place!

An eclectic bar that is obviously a local hang out. Noisy pool games and weed smokers. On our visit there was one bar man serving on a Friday night. Long queue and blunt service. Cash only!

this is one of the coolest bars ive ever been to. bar isnt even a good way to describe it - the co-owner told me they made it to be "the community's living room", and they did an amazing job with the vibes. itd be equally as great to drink there with friends as it would be to remote work there as it would be to go solo, meet new people, play some pool and catch some live music

I went there yesterday with my sister and her husband and we went later in the evening around 10pm , they service was very slow I went downstairs towards pool table and a woman was snorting white powder off of a book . It made me feel very uncomfortable to see someone openly doing drugs. I wouldn't suggest going there. Bartender was very rude.

Woodstock Pizza Theater is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The staff's passion and dedication are evident in the exceptional dining experience they provide. The chef's enthusiasm for creating new vegan dishes results in an innovative and flavorful menu. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious vegan options, including vegan chicken caesar salad, vegan chicken parmaseans with linguine noodles, and vegan apple pie with coconut ice cream. Additionally, the local craft beer selection adds to the overall enjoyment of the visit.
Came here for a late lunch last week and had a really nice time. The service was friendly and attentive, I loved that they had local craft beer options, and the food was delicious. We split a vegan steak sandwich and the Casablanca pizza, both were so good! There are a few pizzas that I still really want to try so we'll definitely be back!

Amazing food and experience! The staff are very passionate and care lot. There is love for their work behind everything they do! The chef is really excited about crafting new vegan menu items and she has a gift for flavor and innovation. This is one of the best vegan meals my partner and I have had! We had two glasses of wine each, the vegan chicken caesar salad, and two of the vegan chicken parmaseans with linguine noodles, and the vegan apple pie with coconut ice cream. We are looking forward to returning for their vegan pizza and tiramisu!

Woodstock Pizza Theater chocolate brownie hummus ROCKS. This is SUPER yummy! Creamy with little chocolate nibs in it and not overly sweet. A definite compliment to a meal, or a perfect after-movie treat. Served with fruit & pita for your dipping pleasure. Vegan, of course!

A cozy place next to Upstate Films. The menu presents creative and tasty options, with a considerable number vegan and gluten-free items. Of course there is a good selection and variety of enjoyable wood fired pizzas as well.

Great vegan options....we had pesto pizza, chocolate cheezecake and ice cream...all vegan...tasty...cant wait to go back!

I guess I had great expectations as I had heard the food was so good. They seem to have an extensive menu as well as a vegan menu. Well when we first arrived for our reservation the staff were all talking in the back of the restaurant. We waited for a bit for them to finally notice we were there. We ordered u sweetened ice tea. The server wasn't sure what kind of iced tea they had so we waited to find out. My husband got his unsweetened iced tea but when he asked for a refill they said they ran out. The pizza we ordered was ok, not amazing. Our first ordered tiramisu and we received the check before the dessert which was partially frozen. We wanted a latte or coffee, they didn't have that either. We also overheard someone who ordered an order to go that they ran out of onion rings. Unfortunately I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there.
Lisa Z — Google review
We ordered pizza and a chicken entree that were both amazing as well as their homemade desserts! Strongly recommend the margaritas as well! They staff were very personable, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and would go back! They also have tons of vegan options.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Santa Fe is a vibrant city with a rich culinary scene. One restaurant offers a cozy and beautifully decorated ambiance, serving fantastic steak tacos and delicious guacamole. The Woodstock-inspired vibe of another eatery complements its tasty drinks and Mexican cuisine, while also providing exceptional service that goes above and beyond. Additionally, the Tivoli Santa Fe Restaurant has been a long-standing favorite for many visitors over the years, offering an enjoyable experience with refreshing margaritas and other delightful beverages.
We enjoyed an early dinner at Santa Fe on Rt 28 in Woodstock ❤️ perfection grilled shrimp appetizer 6 delicious shrimps best in life, guacamole, enchiladas tipico, and excellent drinks - the original Santa Fe in Tivoli is very festive and this restaurant is more subdued and very peaceful which we enjoy too - and waitstaff very kind and accommodating

Delicious and great ambience and the prices will reflect this. Gourmetish Mexican with fresh ingredients.

The Dylan burger is my absolute favorite in the area. It’s just perfect in every way. The fries are super crisp and perfect as well! Another favorite is the Mexicali cauliflower- basically like buffalo and super crispy The service is always friendly. Great place all around!
Danielle D — Google review
Everything was great. I'm not crazy about Mexican food however, the steak was perfect, cauliflower, and fish tacos were excellent as well. There were about twenty-five of us in our group and everyone loved all of the entrees. The guacamole was delicious and served with cucumbers and onions. There was only one bar tender but he was extremely fast and professional. They didn't need two, with him there. Lol... I can't remember the last time i enjoyed a Mexican restaurant this much. Well done.
Ernest L — Google review
I’ve been to the Tivoli Santa Fe Restaurant many dozens of times over the past couple of decades. I’ve only been to this location once before and it was years ago. It was 3:20 on a Saturday in February. Walking in there were a few other people already in Santa Fe. We ordered drinks. One beer, Santa Fe margarita, 3G margarita and one Frozen Modelo (a Modelo beer with the classic margarita). The Frozen Medelo looks beautiful and tastes almost as good as it looks. Got to try it if you like beer and tequila. The two margaritas were both delicious. I wish there was a tequila menu on the table to know prices. There is a menu on the website and prices are good. A Milagro Anejo is $10. Most Ajejos are between $10 and $12. Interesting is the $2 charge to make any tequila a Margarita. I wish more places did this to make it easy to pick the tequila you want in your Margarita. Now I wish they carried our favorite tequila; One With Life which is an organic tequila. I got my goto Shrimp Tacos (Grilled Tacos, Camaron) which I loved. I’ve had them before at the other Santa Fe’s and always enjoyed them. Not sure if it was the eight mile rail trail walk we did but they tasted amazing. My wife had Enchilada de San Miguel (stacked corn enchiladas with mushrooms, spinach, onion, fresh tomato, queso fresco, salsa verde & white cheddar cheese). She said it was delicious. We shared an order of guacamole. It was fine but not good enough to order it again. Some of the avocado wasn’t mashed, mostly plain tasting (which some people prefer). No chips or salsa comes with it (the menu didn’t say chips would come with it). So we ordered chips and salsa once the guacamole arrived. The chips, salsa and guac were all small portions for the price. Maybe this changes when avocados are in season. One of my biases is that I want chips and salsa on the table. I would be totally fine with meals costing a dollar or two more. Guac and chips aside, everything was great. Service was excellent, the bartender made perfect drinks and the price was good. I want to go back later in the evening when there are more people there to give it a better vibe. Closes at 9:30 Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Santa Fe was awesome. Service was on point, the food was spot-on, and they had an IPA I really love—Heady Topper. What’s not to like? We went on a Friday night in Feb '25, and it was surprisingly packed. We had reservations—our table was ready the minute we walked in. Sadly, I'm writing this a bit late, but I still remember those Barbacoa Short Rib Tacos hitting the spot. My partner had the Black Angus NY Strip and was just as happy. Honestly, we both walked out of there and nodded to each other with that look, “Yep, we’re definitely coming back.”

Whether you choose bar or table service it is immaculate. Very low stress environment and great service everyone was very friendly. Good food and great bartender I believe he name was Andrew
Matthew — Google review
First time here, and it was delicious! It was a bit noisy at first because we were seated near the bar, but otherwise it’s wonderfully decorated and comfy! Food was fantastic, I ordered the steak tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had! The steak was juicy, tender, and thick — not like the over cooked, burned strips I’ve had at other places. Even the side salad and rice was great. And the guacamole was also some of the best I’ve tasted. Highly recommend, will be back! Thanks to our server, Charles!

Nana’s Take Out Cafe & Sweetery is a charming and popular spot in Woodstock. It offers a variety of delicious options, including the amazing turkey meatloaf sandwich and delightful dessert items. Whether you dine in or take out, you can enjoy their refrigerated options that can be heated at home. The cafe also provides deli-style offerings and a selection of pastries and baked goods, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Food and sweets were AMAZING. Highly recommend the “crazy egg” sandwich. Nana’s does offer gluten free bread for sandwiches and sweets are labeled for gluten and vegan options! I will definitely be stopping by again!

Hi! My boyfriend just picked lunch up for the two of us. He sat the food down next to the coffee station while he filled up our cups. While he was doing so, a stranger picked up our food and left with it. When my boyfriend let the man behind the counter know what had happened, he replied, “Now, you’re trying to get something for free? You should have been watching your food!” Paternalistic, disrespectful behavior like this should not acceptable in Woodstock. It shouldn’t be acceptable anywhere. I hope this review gets a response. This whole situation was appalling to me.

I dont hate this place, but I feel like it could better. I NEVER make it when they are open...and it feels like they are closed 99% of the time. I am also old and find the whole set up and coffee thing confusing. Staff are nice most of the time.

Alba's Kitchen is a new restaurant in town, owned by a local who used to sell her famous con pollo el salvadorian sandwiches to lucky behind-the-scenes worker bees. The service is great, the atmosphere inviting, and the food outstanding. The menu offers fresh and tasty options like caesar salad with or without protein, burgers, fries, small salads, omelets and breakfast items. Visitors praise the delicious and fresh food at reasonable prices.
10/10!! First time in Woodstock and came across this little hidden gem. It’s a cute little place full of life. The staff were super friendly. They were very attentive and helpful with the menu. The menu looked so delicious, we wanted to try everything. We got the tomato bisque soup, chicken soup, arugula salad with chicken, eggplant rollatini, and the steak sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were big, and the price was great. You can tell the food was homemade fresh with top notch farm ingredients. Next time I come visit, I will definitely be returning to try other menu items. Highly recommend to try this place!

Also the best pizzeria in town, and so much more. Burger excellent - bun treated perfectly and salad was fresh. Pizza dough is magically light, thin, and crispy and has to experienced. Pesto pizza with ricotta instead of mozzarella was a delight. Pancakes also devoured by kids (full menu available at dinner).

Delightful little place. Friendly service. I had the arugula and pecan salad, I added tofu to it and it was cooked perfectly. My daughter had the caprese salad, also delicious. My husband had the turkey club on French bread, he enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend.

Whilst in Woodstock to visit family, I happened to smell bacon cooking one morning from my accommodation on Tinker Street. I realized later the delicious aroma emanated from the restaurant next door, Alba’s Kitchen. My wife and I stopped in for lunch (I had a great Rueben sandwich) and I noted the appealing breakfast menu. The next morning, we were back for eggs, French toast with strawberries, and some very awesome bacon! The next morning, we brought our whole family in for a visit where everybody ate their fill and then some. Great service, excellent food freshly prepared, fair prices. What more could you want?

Alba's Kitchen just might be Woodstock's best-kept secret. Located approximately 1/2 mile just west of the town's overcrowded tourist center on Tinker St., my wife and I had a lovely, quiet dinner last week in a relaxed, comfortable setting: ample table and chair space, superb burgers and chicken soup, and gracious service. Thank you folks, we'll be back soon!

Denise Jernsen Woodstock Local I’m pleased to offer my enthusiastic review of Alba’s Kitchen, located on Tinker Street in Woodstock, NY. The service is always warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and the atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and relaxed—perfect for a casual meal or a special outing.
