Apache Casino Hotel is a straightforward yet beautiful hotel and casino centrally located close to downtown Lawton. The spacious and clean rooms, along with the friendly staff, provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The casino offers gaming on both smoking and non-smoking floors, with a variety of machines across two stories. Guests can enjoy the pool, outdoor fireplaces, fitness center, and dining options such as Zaiqa Restaurant.
Amazing service. The employees were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spotless and well appointed for the price point. The restaurant was good and the casino was fun. All in all a very nice stay. I would definitely come again!

Would give 5 starts on rooms but the bed is too soft for us. The dine in restaurant was great with decent prices, just wish the AC want on blast. Casino was great because they have non-smoking area, just wish the self serve drink area was a bit more up scale and that they had a few more garbage cans on the floor... took a while to find one.

Great customer service. I arrived around 1am and was greeted at the desk by Carmelo. He was courteous, professional, and even took the extra time to explain the best place to park, as the closest spots were already filled when he arrived. The little things are what seperate top quality from good, and Carmelo defined that. The hotel itself was clean, from the parking lot all the way to the room. After a long day of work and then a 6 hour drive, the soft carpet was an unexpected bonus. The room was immaculate, and the private patio made it feel like I was almost at home. I travel a lot and this establishment has now become my go to oasis on my journey back home. Can't wait to visit again.

I called ahead to see if we could arrive early to start having some fun … NO! Check in is at 4:00pm - if I want to come at 3:00pm it’s $50 extra? Now I’m sitting here at 4:15pm waiting for a room - and I’m going to be fully charged if I cancel it?!?! Good news is while driving around - we found an eerily similar (hint hint) place just a few miles away and didn’t the afternoon there. We’re going back tonight 😏

Overall, this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were excellent, the location was convenient, and the service was great. However, I recommend that the gift shop start accepting cash, as that would make things more convenient for guests. Additionally, the Wi-Fi could be improved since I experienced frequent disconnections during my stay. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Love this hotel. Luxury at a great price, beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, large TV. Roomy with comfortable furnishings and a fridge. Quiet stay with plenty of parking. Nice outdoor pool. Casino has a good variety of games and table games. Restaurant is still a higher end establishment, seating was available as a walk in.
Laurie G — Google review
Very clean rooms, comfy bed, large pillows, nice TV, keurig type coffee maker, a/c was thermostat controlled very quiet, lots of outlets and usb charging, large shower, convenient, easy access, hallways had security entrance, cons- door to shower didn't close completely so leaked on floor making mat squishy, the potty is very low to the ground and I'm a short person, awkward ck in as both agents were on the fone and we had to stand there for apx 8 mins or more waiting to ck in,,,unusual as most ck in agents put callers on hold and help guests standing in front of them. Price was great, wud stay here again
Barbara W — Google review
The rooms were beautiful. The bed sizes were not accurate. But we didnt really need two, so it was okay. There were only aprox 12 channels on the TV. That was a bummer. There was a small toddler or baby that screamed the entire time in the room right next door. The service was average, the coffee place took 30 minutes for 2 of us to get 2 drinks a piece, but were delicious. We might come back, but have our expectations a little lower.

Mikes Sports Grille is a lively bistro and full bar with big-screen TVs, a game room, and an extensive menu of American cuisine. It's a family-friendly restaurant near Lawton that offers an array of burgers, sandwiches, salads, draft beers, and cocktails. On Sundays, kids can dine for just $1.99 with the purchase of an adult meal. The sports bar also features an arcade and self-serve beer taps for a unique experience.
First time here and I absolutely love this place. Excellent atmosphere. Very clean. Outstanding service and unspeakably good food! Our server (Noah) was extremely uplifting and helpful. It's obvious he loves his job and pleasing patrons. He was very helpful in describing the menu items and made great recommendations. The Cheesesteak was a hit! Thank you, Noah!
Erik W — Google review
Nice sports bar vibe. Service was slow at the bar but it was busy - so I get it. Typical bar food menu. Cheesesteak and chicken sandwich were fine. Good beer selection .

Chelsea our server was amazing. She did everything you'd hope for in a server. She made sure our drinks were filled and our food was hot. She really can brighten up someone's day with her uplifting cheerful personality. We will be back and hopefully we get her again as our server. --Sincerely a happy customer.

Im from RI and went in with my Mom on Sunday to watch the New England Patriots game. Alexis was our server and she was awesome and had a great personality and was super attentive. I ordered the sirloin with loaded mashed and broccoli.... I almost went back the next day for the same thing! It was Sooooo good! My mom had chicken tenders and sweet fries and salad and she loved hers too. I would certainly recommend! The restaurant was clean, efficient and friendly!
Wendy D — Google review
I don't dine often, but dang, what a difference in their food, used to have a good sirloin. First steak was overcooked, server had them remake it. Second one wasn't much better. It tasted weird and powder like. Very odd. Server was NOT at fault, but by this point my spouse had finished his meal and I was not feeling it. So we paid, boxed the steak & fries up and fed to the dog. Won't make that mistake again. This is supposed to be a 10 oz sirloin. The photo with steak & fries is the same entree I ordered on a visit in 2022. I looked it up to compare because there was such a huge difference in quality then to now. Service is a reason I don't frequent them more, only for work meet ups, but now I'll stick to a drink next time.

Mike's sports bar is pretty badass. They have an arcade inside and BEER. The beer selection could be better actually. The beer selection seems slim. The beer selection is kinda like Homeland grocery store's beer selection... not too great... not even big, but it did the job for sure. Our waitress was very nice. She was actually training some guy... guy needed work, but she was fine. She was training the guy.... nolding him.... making him better.... he could be great too, just needs to learn... she was doing the teaching. Ok Buy Try the chicken tenders.
Nhoj S — Google review
Food was good, service was good. I don't like when they automatically add a tip to your bill. And then the waitress stands and looks at you when they hand you your change expecting more. They would have gotten a bigger tip if they hadn't automatically added one.

Located in Lawton, the Comanche Nation Casino is a 24-hour gaming spot offering over 700 slot machines, blackjack, and poker. The casino also features live entertainment and dining options at the Mustang Sports Grill. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of games including video poker and table games. Additionally, there's a full-service sports bar where guests can catch NFL, NBA or MLB games while enjoying drinks. Recent updates include the addition of new slot machines that rival those found in Las Vegas.
First time gambling and I had an excellent experience here. My dad and I won a good amount of money. Joy, at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. All service and the staff were nice. Multiple people asked if I wanted anything to drink. Staff are available around the casino to assist too. I will be visiting again when I’m in Oklahoma.

It's fun because it's a casino but I feel like the payout seems quite a bit less than most casinos I've been to In Oklahoma 🤷🏽‍♂️ but hey, it's all lawton really has to offer.

Used to be fun. Some of their promos are ok but imo still a money pit. Weird smells throughout. Played on a slot that appears to “hit” (see photo) and when I inquired about it, was told “dunno”. Finally, many games aren’t damaged and often glitch. One good thing…at least they’re not Apache!

We visited here on ah Friday night..around 9pm..not 2 crowded. Large Smoking area with plenty of machines. They also have a player's club that's free 2 join and gives you $10 in credit 2 new members. Really laid back vibe..staff was very friendly and helpful 2 us since this was our 1st vist.Me and my wife played a couple of machines they have a wide selection of them. ..didn't hit any jackpots..lol..but had some fun trying. Roulette table, card games etc. They also have a drawing every 30min 2 win various prizes .plenty of parking and a smoke shop in the parking lot.Now for the best part...the food...the food here is very good and priced right.I had the TEXAS BURGER!.THIS THING WAS THE 👌 BURGER IVE HAD YET...MAN!..JUICY NOT OVERCOOKED SOFT LIGHTLY TOASTED BUN..and The size of the patty was definitely TEXAS sized!..Check out the pic!and the fries and onions rings were bomb..man this was some good eats..Ahelicious If you are a burger lover u definitely got to hit this spot up hands down..let's go..1 time FOR COMANCHE NATION !! 💯

It is a nicely organized casino, has plenty of machines to choose from. I've been getting lucky here, come check this place out. The employees are really nice as well
Randy W — Google review
Figured I'd try it one last time. Well, it's still the same ole tight machines. Loves to take your money but no payback, not even a cherry. I hope you all get shut down or go under. I'll take my money to winstar from now on. Boring atmosphere, slot games outdated and just a sorry selection. I should've just turned around and left soon as I walked in. No bells going off at all. Literally feel like y'all are rigged and not going by state guidelines. I have never not at least hit a cherry. You should be investigated
Walter P — Google review
Do better, Management, and train your employees properly. They give out the wrong information about promotions, basically lie in your face to get customers out of the casino, when they like to close. AGAIN, do better and spend some money on training classes. We sure do give you plenty of money throughout the month and I think customers deserve better. We will visit Apache from here on out.
Andrea C — Google review
The atmosphere is very dirty. The management allow the Pit Boss Judy to treat the customers with no respect. She is very condescending. The Manager Angel is no better. She allows Pit Boss Judy to threaten the Black Patriots. She embarrassed a Black Woman by having her removed because the woman as her not to talk down to her. Please don't go to this establishment.

The 360 Restaurant at Apache Casino Hotel offers a superb dining experience with exceptional service and delectable cuisine at affordable prices. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including the delightful lobster bisque and tasty trout. While the crème brulee could use a touch more crispiness on top, most of the dishes are priced under $20, making it an excellent choice for those visiting the casino.
Every time I go to this restaurant I always order the same item. The fire roasted steak is very tasty and tender for $40.00 & the Caramelized popcorn cream brûlée is very creamy and delicious for $8.00 . I highly recommend if you’re looking for best steak.

I stopped in for dinner the other night at this location. I ordered the salmon 🍣 it was really overcooked but did have a good flavor but was drowning in a lukewarm sauce of some kind. Salad was fresh and dressing tasted good. The chicken fried steak was HUGE but not edible it was so tough. The macaroni and cheese wasn’t even warm and looked and tasted as if it was leftover from day prior. The jalapeño appetizer tasted great. The restaurant itself was clean to the eye and decorated more upscale. There was plenty on the menu I was interested in trying surely it was just an off day and service and food isn’t typically like this.

Nice restaurants especially the delicious food, but their services is horrendous bad, especially to get a seat and your food ordered as well.

Lobster bisque was wonderful, shrimp cocktail exactly what we needed and catfish top notch. Teriyaki pork wonton was amazing as well.

We ate here sat evening. There were 4 of us. The restaurant says it closes at 10pm. We went down between 9:30-9:40 and were immediately told that we needed to order our food before 10pm by the hostess. Once seated, we were quick to order our food. We ordered the potstickers as an appetizer which were decent once we got them. They came out with the rest of our food order. We ordered the adult Mac and cheese, chicken alfredo, meatloaf and a hamburger with regular fries. We each got a side salad with our meal. The only meal that was somewhat correct and tasted good was the burger. We received sweet potato fries instead if regular fries with this order. The meatloaf had no flavor and looked like at had been dumped from a frozen TV dinner. The adult Mac and cheese was not great either. The "sauce" looked curdled and the portion was small. Never did get garlic bread with the mac and cheese nor the alfredo. The Chicken alfredo was very bland and was also a small portion. There was only 5 or 6 little chunks of chicken. Our side salads did manage to come out before the rest of our meal but only consisted of iceberg lettuce and a few grape tomatoes and our dressing if choice. We told the waiter about the fries when it came out. He said he would correct it, but we never did receive regular fries. When he came by to check on us we told him of our issues with the food. He did apologize and and did try to take off a portion of what we owed on our bill. Which we told him was not necessary, we just wanted them to know about their food quality. We then tried to leave a cash tip for the waiter and because it was after 10pm at this point, they could not get us change
Patricia D — Google review
Walking in, 360 doesn’t look like an upscale restaurant but just a nice modern, somewhat bare place to eat. But the service was great, and the FOOD! So delicious! We started with the Potstickers which were perfect to share and very savory. We split the Salmon entree and Salisbury Steak entree, so could try each—the salmon was especially delicious. It was our anniversary and they gifted us a huge piece of cheesecake too! Only a beautiful central fireplace is needed to up the ambience here. Great place for Lawton!
Barb D — Google review
No names will be mentioned. We went to go have a non-alcoholic drink at the bar. The bartender with super long braided hair assisted us. We ordered 2 drinks total. Both were non-alcoholic. We asked for our bill and the total was $26. Mind you, the most expensive alcoholic beverage on the menu was I believe $8. We asked why the drinks were so expensive considering they were alcohol free. She said, “I still had to take the time to make it and use all the ingredients.” We said we expected the drink to be less expensive because there was no alcohol. She said, no it’s the same price. We paid just to see if she would still intentionally overcharge us. Of course she did. Why? I do not know. We involved the manager which spoke with her and then said “I don’t know what she was thinking.” She refunded our entire bill including the tip. For the food side. Our waitress was quick to get our order, our drinks and our bread. After that over 40 minutes went by with our server walking constantly by our table with no updates on our order. She never even stopped by for updates until 40 minutes later when she said that our order should be up next. The restaurant was only at about 20% capacity or less. We ordered Blackened Salmon, which was good and spicy, and Meat Loaf which was not flavorful and slightly charred. It took 45 minutes to receive our meal. The side, our green beans, came out 4 minutes later after our main dish. . A subpar experience for sure. This is definitely not an “Upscale Restaurant” nor a “Steakhouse”!

We had my daughter’s wedding reception here and they set us up a nice big table with ample space. The food and service were both on point and many who attended had fun gambling afterwards. A+ experience.

When we came in it was pretty busy, so understandable we had to wait like 15 minutes for a table so I did some shopping. When we were sat, ordered 1 water, 1 DrPepper, and 2 coffees. We were never given a refill on any drinks even though we asked for more coffee but maybe he forgot. But, before we left we asked for 2 Togo DrPepper and the server told us he would be charging for 1 because we only ordered 1 I just said okay guess we will just have 1 Togo thinking when he came back he would realize being rediculous and bring 2 but nope 🤣🤣and the 1 he brought was like a kiddie size tiny drink 🤣🤣but food was prepared just how it is at every location. Thanks I’ll be back and order water 🤣🩷✌️

First they skipped to seat us and we understood the misunderstanding, then we sat down at the same time as the couple before us, they got served quick same with a table across from us. We waited and waited for our food. Then a table in front of us who were there before us got served. And after another 10 minutes we finally got served and our food was cold and dry, my fruit tasted sour and the strawberries were very old. We didn’t have time to reorder or to wait again so we ate what we got and left unsatisfied. Very disappointing. It felt like it was almost done on purpose.

Pictured is a chicken leg from a half chicken in their campfire chicken entree. The chicken was small enough to be a dove. They brought another just as tiny - fork in picture for size comparison. Appeared to be cooked in beef broth

Food is much better in person than when you use DoorDash/Grubhub/UberEats etc. So drive over there and experience it. Sad they got rid of "Uncle Hershel's breakfast" but they do have the build your own breakfast now, so that's a nice replacement. The store is always really neat. "Old school candies" bring back good childhood memories. Employees are typically very kind (both sides). *egg sandwich with hash brown casserole* (pic)

The food tasted good, but the service could have been better. They were not very busy, so we got our meal pretty quickly. I had not been to a Cracker Barrel in a long time and I noticed that the meal portions were smaller while it was more expensive. They still have a lot of merchandise for sale when you walk in.

Just not as good as I remember it. The corn bread muffins were room temperature and dry. Most of the menu was fried foods. Nothing appealed to me. I ended up with the grilled chicken salad. Nothing remarkable about that. They had no soup. Ran out. It was Sunday morning before the church service let out at 11:55. They should have had soup. Someone isn't doing inventory correctly. They offered me a potato instead. Wish they had wraps or some special salads. Really no variety unless you want a heavy meal.

Shopping mall
Central Plaza Lawton is an indoor shopping mall that has been around since 1979, offering over 70 shops within its more than 500,000-square-foot space. It's a great spot to take a break from sightseeing and indulge in some retail therapy. The mall features a play area and arcade games for kids, making it family-friendly. While the food court options may be limited, the quality of food is still good.
Love how many things there are for the kiddos! There's a play place as well as several arcade type games. Definitely worth the outing! Only complaint is that the food court doesn't have many options, but the food is still good. The mall is smaller, but there are the typical shops inside.
Amanda A — Google review
Classic Americana Mall coming here made me feel nostalgic for the old malls I used to walk through as a kid. The sad reality is these types of malls are slowly dying and you can see it at this mall with many empty stores, low traffic, a movie theater that you can tell by the left over movie posters and ads closed during COVID lockdowns in 2020 and never reopened. My family still enjoyed going to the stores that were still here and my kids enjoyed playing on the small play area they had.
Torey D — Google review
This "mall" seriously sucks. The theater was good, the Old Navy was good, Dilliard's was good, Sears was good, Chick-fil-A was good, Spencers was good, Bath and Bodyworks was good, the Putt-putt golf course was good, Gamestop was good, Great American Cookies was good, and many other great stores were good. The problem is that everyone is leaving and there are less and less stores now. The only reason to go to this mall is to support the small business food spots, which even then some of those places aren't very good. And a select few stores, which are destined to leave within a few years. Perhaps one of the worst things about the mall is the neglect, and not only does that neglect cost the mall money but also the people visiting. Both arcades in the mall have broken machines and dispensers, and they will take your money and give you nothing, you can't get the quarters back. Don't bother asking any mall staff for help if the machines eat up your coins. The arcades are depressing and horribly neglected. On top of other things, the ATMs and kiosks seldom work, everywhere you go it smells of sickening cleaning product, and there are no bathrooms except for in the hall of the abandoned movie theater. It's a shame what those in charge of the mall have done to this place. If you want shoes, which you're better off getting at Shoe Carnival which is about a mile or so away at a much better plaza, or if you want to eat nauseating food, then sure, maybe this mall is a good place for you, but if not? Avoid this mall at all costs.
Carol — Google review
The place is almost entirely dead, with around 70% of its booths (Installations? Rooms? Whatever you call where the businesses are in the mall) being completely empty. It definitely needs some more businesses to show up.
Brandon ( — Google review
Ghost Town... Not much of a friendly atmosphere in what few stores that remain. Customers oftentimes have to initiate a friendly greeting first before the employees may/ may not reciprocate. On the rare occasions that I go, it is simply to do walking exercises. I no longer do any actual shopping. Even upon the slightest chance of running across a friendly employee, the selections of the merchandise "is less than stellar!" However, to be fair, I'd still say for the sake of the FEW, kind, friendly employees who still give "service with a smile" visit anyway if you happen to be in the area. You may get lucky & find that needle in a haystack bargain! If you're already in the area & have nothing else better to do, why not... no harm, no foul.
Patricia J — Google review
This place is almost empty. Very slow . More stores have left and getting ready to leave here .
JOSEPH G — Google review
This place is quite clean and crowd isn’t so bad. Seems like a lot of younger military shops here from the nearby base. Only gripe was a lot of closed shops here which makes it seem like it’s a forgotten mall. Otherwise if you want some clothes and cookies come here.
Rob — Google review
Typical American mall in 2025. Anchor store is JC Penny and there are the normal mall stores like hot topic and a food court. It appears to be operating at 40% occupancy.

Our whole family loved Wayne's!! After a long day, we decided to try Wayne's for the first time. My husband was so unsure about it that we almost left, I'm so glad we didnt!! My kids are notoriously picky and they ate every bite of the meals from Wayne's! My little one RAVED about the cute little car box for his food. My husband and teenager were beside themselves to have a burger with some weight to it. And I LOVED that their fries tasted like actual potato and were not rolled in salt! The runner was so nice, although it looked like she was serving all vehicles on her own. She didn't rush us, and really made us feel welcomed. My kids just threw out their wrappers and are already asking when we can go back. If you're in town, go to Wayne's!!

The food here is amazing, they have plenty of selections to choose. I had their bacon cheeseburger with the banana shake and fries. I love how the banana shake has real fruit pieces in it. The burger was full of flavor and juicy, and the fries had the right crisp. I highly recommend checking out Wayne's Drive-In

Classic drive in testing the test of time! Pull up order your food. Everything is good and cooked fresh to order.

My mentor Aíne used to live here in Lawton, and recommended this place called Wayne’s drive-in. The burgers and the flavor here are absolutely phenomenal. It was different but better. Food was great. Service is good/phenomenal and atmosphere is pretty vintage and home old-fashioned 10 out of 10 service highly recommended

I never miss Wayne's when visiting Lawton! The burgers are incredible, and they have that classic American feeling to them! Can't get enough of it! I always get the double cheeseburger and the onion rings with a Coke. Never, ever disappoints!

Steak fingers were delicious. Toast, fries and onion rings were hot and good. Sauce was fresh. I will try pizza next time.

Wayne’s has been a classic drive-in that continues to stand the test of time. I was very glad to introduce Mrs. Flip Out to Wayne’s several years ago and it’s just fun to go. Wayne’s still has the BEST Dr. Pepper anywhere, and I don’t know why anyone drinks anything other than Dr. Pepper, but people tell me the other sodas are great, too. The menu is full of drive-in classics, and this visit we got Little Flip Out a corndog kids meal. Mrs. Flip Out got a bacon cheeseburger. They enjoyed their meal and it should be noted that the onion rings are great, too! Littlest Flip Out also had a hamburger. If you’re looking for a classic drive-in around Lawton, give Wayne’s a try!

First time eating here after passing by it for 2 years. Boy have I been missing out! Similar to the "Cook Out" burger joints on the East Coast. Very tasty, and the double cheeseburger was hefty too. More than enough food for the average person. I tried the shakes later in the evening and they also taste really good, I'd choose Wayne's over Sonic anyday!

Pizza restaurant
Luigi's Italian Restaurant offers traditional Italian cuisine and delicious pizzas in a cozy setting with classic diner-like booths and tables. The food is described as great, with friendly service and a clean environment. While some found the food to be typical Italian fare, others loved the tasty bread that can be enjoyed with pasta cream or olive oil and vinegar. The restaurant is praised for accommodating special occasions like graduations, being flexible with reservations, and providing excellent service despite busy times.
Food was great!!! Service was good and the establishment was clean. I felt bad for our waitress because she had 6 tables and one of the tables had a family that were being very rude. She was doing an awesome job managing all the people there. But some people just can’t be pleased..

We wanted good pizza not chain pizza. THIS WAS THE SPOT! Salad not so great no frills but the pizza was amazing. Beware of the so so good garlic bread they give you before. You will want to eat 3 or 4 pieces but then you wont have room for pizza.

Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. The food was typical Italian style and tasted very generic. Small town restaurant not to much to compete with. 5 stars for service 4 star for speed 3 stars for food 2 stars for ambiance

It's my first time to eat at an Italian restaurant with my bf. We ate there for our Valentine's day because I had to fly back before Feb 14th. The bread was really tasty, you can eat it with your pasta cream or Olive oil and vinegar.

We took the advice of a Kohl's associate (lady at the jewelry counter). As we are here for a BCT graduation and was looking for a place to eat she suggested Luigi's Italian. She said if you like bread you'll love it. The bread is amazing and the pizza and pasta sampler was more than we could eat. If you like bread go get some!!

The museum also boasts intense displays like the Tornado Simulator and Domebo Dig Site.
Great place to stop at while in Lawton! The museum was very informative and interactive! Take an hour or so to walk around and enjoy all the interactive activities it offers! The staff was very friendly! Don’t forget to get yourself a good souvenir from the gift shop!
Daniel D — Google review
The museum offers a dual exhibition with both indoor and outdoor sections. The outdoor area features a train depot, a schoolhouse, and a replica trading post. You also can observe prairie dogs. The indoor exhibits are interactive, making it good for kids, though the overall quantity of items to see is fairly small. Among them, the tornado related exhibit is likely worth checking out.
Hero T — Google review
What a great hands on museum. It was very educational in a very fun way. Lots of interactive activities that really teach. Whether your an adult or a kid, you'll find it to be a great way to spend some time. The local Prarie dogs added some fun whimsy for us too.

Better than I thought it would be. When I first got to Lawton I was told that the muesum wasn't very good or had a lot of quality to it. But I guess that has changed since then. It was made for kids to interact with , so there are plenty of things for kids to do. My two favorite things were the drawing/tracing station to learn how to draw Native American-like art, and the mock wooden fort outside. A cool thing to mention was the tornado simulator. The benches shake, the doors slam, and the noise is loud. Not ideal for younger kids but great for pre-teens and adults. I'm sorry I didn't show my family this Muesum when they stopped by.

Super interesting museum. Love the tornado theater it felt so real listening to everything that was happening. The Prairie dogs outside were really cute and fun to watch them.

It is a great museum to showcase Midwest climate and nature, I enjoyed displays for wind turbines as I see a ton of these driving between states. There are also a simulated tornado which is interesting. I recommend visiting. There are also historical information about population in the past years. Elmer Thomas Park, just a short drive from downtown, is a 60-acre park offering various outdoor activities for visitors. The park features serene views, a lake with paddle boating, playgrounds, covered picnic areas, and paved paths for biking or walking. Families can enjoy the miniature train ride that loops around the park and the splash pad for kids. Additionally, there are restrooms available for added convenience.
Although there are some areas under construction, it is a lovely park and a great way to spend some time on Family if you are there with your Army SIT.

Very nice park walking/bike paths. Currently building water slide. There’s a softball field. Fishing, swans, geese, mallards n prairie dogs. Kids playgrounds covered n very nicely done. Picnic tables etc. Benches to sit n relax. Memorial plaques honoring those that served in the military. All and all I love it!

Great walking trails that can also be great for bike riding. There are several areas to park, picnic tables, and restrooms. Tons and tons of prairie dogs to sit and watch tons! Playground area for kids. 🩷✌️

I enjoy visiting this park. It has a great route for walking, jogging, or running. I believe there is also a dirt bike trail. Lots of frisbee golf. A nice pond with ducks, geese, and other aquatic birds. There are several photo spots from a garden to memorials for soldiers. The Museum of the Great Plains is next door and there is plenty to do. A big tent was up tonight but no signage. I wasn’t sure what the event was. Once I parked my car and completed a lap, I did about a mile and a half route. A good park for Lawton.

Big beautiful park for all kinds of outdoor and recreational activities. They often have seasonal displays and events. There's something for everybody here, including a lake with a fountain, walking paths, shaded areas, BBQ areas, frisbee golf, and a splash park.
Sierra S — Google review
Awesome park with lots of different play areas and a decent amount of shade. So many parts to these climbers that one photo can't do it justice. (My daughter did a "walk through" on the big climber 🤣). While there are bathrooms there, it is interesting to see that they have to lock up the toilet paper (and the female bathroom was out). A trash can in the bathroom would be nice since there was not and quite a few used wet wipes piled onto the floor.

If you want to go to a beautiful spot and feel a special closeness with Jesus, then this is the place. I want to go to the Easter pageant and the also allow weddings in the church. It was beautiful and I loved praying there!

It was a unique find. We visited Wichita Mountains and didn’t know The Holy City existed. We saw a sign for it so decided to visit. We weren’t able to walk around much of the area because it was closed off in preparation for Easter but I’ve included pictures of the areas we did explore. It is said to be a replica of Jerusalem.

We were so blessed to be passing through the week before Easter. And got to witness the Easter pageant rehearsal the night before their first performance of this 100th season! This place is definitely Little Jerusalem!,

Pretty nice. The gift shop here is the only place on the WMA that I found sold cold drinks.. not from a machine. The buildings a cool. Watch the right side of the road as you drive in to see prairie dogs
Glenn D — Google review
It's a nice place to stop and walk around. There are a lot of wasps nesting in the replicas. You can tell that a lot of work went into making the replicas. Overall it is well built but does need some updates as there was some broken stain glass that my toddler went straight for of course. Luckily I caught him before he grabbed it.

Very cool place. We take all of our out of town guests here and everyone is happy to see. Love the history.

The staff was very friendly. Beautiful. It is difficult to navigate with a stroller, so be wary of that if you bring your babes. I would visit again when it is cooler outside because there is not much shade.

This place is AMAZING!! So i believe it was built in the 40s. A preacher had a dream about it, and then he built a place centered around the Easter story. They still do pageants every Easter!!! OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!! THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR YOUR LIFE !!! THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOUR SON!!!

Delicious! Too beautiful to eat, but I made it happen! Great service.
Susi D — Google review
Was told it wasn't worth going to but I like to try things for myself. Sadly I would have to agree it's not worth going to. My bagel sandwich felt and tasted like it was microwaved because the bagel itself was so tough and chewy just how bread gets when you microwave it. Omelet was so so and the sliced didn't come with any condiments. I asked for butter and was told they only have melted butter. Oddly enough she mentioned they melt the butter for some of their sandwiches. Guess they can't give it to me before melting it 😑. Coffee was good though and not sure why they charge you for a water cup, pretty rare to see that at a restaurant.
Nelson A — Google review
Oct 2022. Around 7pm on the 7th. Everything was so neat, and the pastries were so pretty. Neither of us had ever been to Atlanta Bread. We were ready to order a number of the items until one in our group noticed a fly on the cinnamon roll. Another one told the young girl and she was like "I'm so sorry". She doesn't "shoo" the fly or anything as if flies can't make a person sick. I said that she may want to throw that one away and she just looked lost and after we said no thanks, she went to the next customer and as they were still figuring what they wanted, she seemingly started telling the other employee something about our experience, because as we were walking out, I turned around and saw her looking at us and speaking quietly to the employee. Doesn't matter. Biggest thing is the fly. It was left on the cinnamon roll just eating away. How do I know? It is still there in the photo after a couple of minutes had gone by.

It took over an hour and a half to receive the wrong order.... I asked for french bread, and i got grain bread and paid for a soup and got chips instead... very disappointed. Paid 16$ for this is horrible...

This place is probably one of the best soup and sandwich stops I've ever been to it's insanely cleab. The service is stupid fast. And the have tea coffee and fountain drinks. They even have sliced lemons you can put in your drinks it is definitely a must stop for Lawton Oklahoma.

Soup was good but the soup options are confusing and add in items aren’t listed with pricing. The bread size was a joke. I prefer Panera Bread over this. The cashier was very nice and the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere.

Family restaurant
Boomarang Diner - Lawton is a nostalgic 1950s-style restaurant chain that serves classic American dishes like burgers, chicken-fried steak, and breakfast fare. Despite some initial uncertainty, the overall atmosphere of the diner is pleasant. The food and service provided are exceptional, albeit with a slightly understaffed team who still manage to be friendly and accommodating. The menu offers delicious options such as the western omelet served with delectable HASHBROWNS and Texas toast.
On my last day here in Lawton, I stopped at the Boomerang diner just passed city hall. The environment and aesthetic are 80s black, white, and silver theme with a modern touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The coffee was great and the food was delicious. I ordered 2 bacon and egg Biscuts that came with a fried potato cake, which is basically a hasbrown. Everything was really great, amd very cheap! If you are in town for the weekend or off base for your day off go check them out!

I had a burger it was great! Chocolate shake delicious. Now the Fries were tasty but they were $4.50(separate charge)and I only got about 10 fries around my burger. Very underwhelming portion for the price. And the soda was extremely syrupie I could not consume and they still charged me.

Had no idea how this place was going to be. I was pretty hesitant to go here BUT MY WIFE MADE ME. The atmosphere was decent, but the food and service was excellent. The staff seemed pretty short handed, but they were friendly and nice. The food turned out to be amazing. I had the western omelet with HASHBROWNS and Texas toast. The hashbrowns were ridiculously good. I slurped em up really fast then inhaled my omelet. Used the rest room twice, caused a line. There were some cool decorations both in the bathroom and the main floor. Ok Bye

An amazing throwback to the original 50's Diner. Great photos on the walls and period-like tables and chairs. The restaurant is clean and and the staff is incredibly pleasant. This is a great family environment, and a great place for a basic burger and a drink. Definitely worth a try on a Saturday lunch or Friday dinner.

Stopped here for dinner during a weekend trip to the area. The food, service, and atmosphere were all incredible. Cody had a friendly and upbeat personality and took great care of us! I got the all-you-can-eat catfish special, which was phenomenal and definitely a steal at the price, as it came with hush puppies, fries, and a salad. The restaurant was decorated with old photos of classic music legends with the music to match. Loved the vibe. I 100% recommend this place!

Breakfast here was spectacular. Hot, fast, delicious. My server Christina was incredibly pleasant and made my visit on a Thursday morning at 7AM wonderful. I was in town for business and the first day of my trip I ate the terrible hotel continental. What a mistake! Everyone staying at the local hotels should be eating here instead. Nearly the same prices too! Wow what a great experience.

Restaurant
Bricktown Brewery in Lawton, OK is a family-friendly restaurant that offers delicious food and excellent service. Despite being a brewery, it caters to families and provides generous portions of tasty meals. The kids' menu is particularly noteworthy for its value. Customers have praised the friendly and attentive servers, making dining experiences enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a place to bring the family, Bricktown Brewery seems to be a great choice in Lawton.
We go here all the time and haven't had a negative experience. A family-friendly place with lots of good food options and fast service. I also recommend getting the app because it's free and there are good rewards. We've tried lots of stuff and I'd say my favorite has been the chicken nachos, either as a starter or just get them as an entree. Least favorite is probably the fries (sweet potato are better) and the salads.
Summer C — Google review
I dropped by this brewery with a few friends after work, and it was a solid choice. The atmosphere was lively, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the evening. I ordered the veggie burger, which was surprisingly flavorful and satisfying. The service was prompt and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. However, the noise level was a bit high, making conversation a bit challenging. Despite that, the overall vibe was inviting, and the food made it worth the visit

We ended up here two nights in a row while in town for a graduation at Fort Sill. This spot stands out among the options in town. We split the pulled chicken nachos for dinner and it was more than enough. Excellent beer selections and fun crowd at the bar. The gals working the bar were always exceptional.
Christie M — Google review
Bar service was fine. Portions are all over the place. I got the big fried chicken salad but substituted for grilled and I got 6 bite sized pieces of chicken. I was definitely expecting more. On the other hand, the brownie sundae could’ve fed a family of four. All items were good but they need to right size the chicken in the salads and the sundae.
Nicholas J — Google review
Good food and beer. A little salty, but I like salt. Chicken fried steak was tender. Sides were also good. Bread n butter coleslaw was tasty. Only complaint they won't sell their t-shirts. Usually a good merchandising idea and free advertisement.

I'm saying this as someone with over 20 years working in the hospitality industry (executive chef ,chef ,manager ,etc) This experience was so bad ,I don't even know where to begin The front entry and surrounding parking lot area was nasty & dirty, the bathrooms weren't much better . Service was sub par at best She never once did a check back The only time that she stopped by the table is when I finally flagged her down after about 8- 10 minutes of trying to get her attention Never got offered a single refill on my tea I ordered a chicken sandwich The slaw is supposed to be a pickle slaw Maybe it walked by a pickle and picked up the pickle aroma Absolutely no pickle tang ,taste ,texture etc And I have ZERO CLUE how you burn the inside breast portion of a chicken patty. It wasn't missing the batter where the burned/charred area is in the picture. The burnt part of the chicken was exposed after I took the batter off The entire batter was burnt beyond being able to eat it ,due to the bitterness The chicken itself was extremely dry The sweet potato fries were burnt as well and colder than a Alaskan winter Which means either the oil is dirty or they burned them as well ,then ended up letting them sit until they got cold . Whoever was working on the kitchen line, expo ,BOH or FOH duty that night were completely off their game. How does a dish that is that badly made & slopped together and obviously not acceptable to serve ANY GUEST ,manage to make it past that many workers without someone noticing it before it made it through the pass
James P — Google review
A friend of mine brought Me a chicken strip meal from there. The tenders were overcooked, breading had black burn spots, so I had to peel off breading, chicken very dry, mashed potatoes had no gravy, only about 3 tablespoons coleslaw. I can't believe for the price U charge that someone would let this even go out of the kitchen but since it was a to-go order they didn't care. I won't ever eat there or let anyone bring Me food from there. I have a picture of the chicken on My phone, I just dont know how to include it with this review. Ive worked alot of years in food service & took pride in My work. This was very poor.
Ruth R — Google review
The food is normally great here and I would normally give it a 5 star review but on my last visit, the 12th of october 2025, the waiter that was putting together the plates of food was blowing bubbles with her bubble gum and popping them right over everyone's plates. Absolutely gross. Our waiter was awesome but the one that was putting the plates together, not okay.
