State park
Nature & Parks
Park
Warren Dunes State Park is a popular destination for those seeking stunning natural scenery and outdoor recreation opportunities. The park boasts impressive 260-foot-tall dunes that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors can obtain a State Parks Recreation Passport to gain access to the park's best beaches, which are among the area's finest. Additionally, the park features over 300 acres of terrain with beech and maple forests that provide peaceful riverside hikes and ample space for picnicking.
Warren Dunes State Park is a perfect day trip from Chicago during the summer. The dunes themselves are breathtaking and arguably more impressive than the Indiana dunes. The beach is huge, massive, and clean, and the water is typically clear and gorgeous. The sand is soft and clean with minimal rocks. The food trucks are decent but not terribly overpriced - great for a quick bite. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Only criticism is the gift shop is quite overpriced, but that’s not surprising. We love making an early drive from Chicago, going to the beach for a few hours here, then checking out the local shops and restaurants around Three Oaks and New Buffalo.

Staff at the entrance was super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. Tons of parking and the parking lots were very clean. Beautiful park. The Dunes were fun to climb. The beach was clean and busy but not overly packed. We had plenty of space to lay out. The restrooms were clean and pleasant.
Cathie K — Google review
If you are into long trails and love the woods this is your jam. We did the trail to Lake Michigan, 1.5 miles there and back. The walk was well worth it. There are also benches along the way. Trust me it's a good thing dude to the hills that you walk up and down. It is very clean!!
Patricia M — Google review
It's our favorite beach to go to. On the north end you can take your leashed dogs too. That end is not a busy. Great views and hiking trails add to the beauty.
Wayne M — Google review
This is one of my favorite day-trips I have ever found. The beach is HUGE and the water is clean. If you like beaches and are in the Midwest, this should be a destination 👌🏼👍🏼 We showed up at 11am and found a space closer to the lake. As we left around 4, there was a longer lineup of cars than in the morning. This place can hold everyone though! A huge dune to run or slide down and some clay pits in the woods are nice features too 👌🏼
Trevor S — Google review
We had a great weekend camping with family at Warren Dunes! The campground is close to the beach, the campsites are a good size, and the bathrooms were clean! The only suggestion that I have is that because the line to get back in once you leave can get quite lengthy and cut into your time at the campground once you've already registered and have an orange placard, it would make sense to let those campers go in the very right hand lane to quickly get back into the park instead of making them wait in a very long line to reenter. Thank you!
Laura W — Google review
We regularly drive an hour away from home just to come here every summer. Multiple times a summer. The beach is pristine. Clean and soft. AND, there's the best little ice cream shop across the street that we go to every time we come out, too!
Kat — Google review
Everything was absolutely beautiful. Very clean park and beach, plenty of parking throughout the park and at the beach, and clean bathrooms. Perfect place to spend time enjoying nature and/or relaxing on the beach.

It's a small-town fun park where families can enjoy various attractions for reasonable prices. The staff is described as friendly and purposeful in creating an atmosphere of camaraderie.
This was so much fun. Go karts, boat bumper cars, putt putt golf and more. There is a little snack stand too! It's all cash only! There is an ATM on site. Was a great afternoon of family fun!
Ashley L — Google review
Decent place to take the family and spend some time. I rode the go-karts with my youngest while my older son got his own car. My youngest is just under the height requirement so it was a bit tight for the two of us. It was a Monday afternoon so not too busy. We then played a round of golf. 18 holes of various difficulties. We enjoyed it and had a good time.
Gaagle P — Google review
We went for the miniature golf. The course was well maintained with unique features. There were plenty of other things to do, go carts (including a track for the wee ones) bumper cars, bumper boats, batting cages, etc. Staff was cheerful and friendly. We will definitely go back and include the grandkids..
Melody M — Google review
Great Place for the entire family!!! miniature, golf, batting cages golf carts, an amazing little arcade for the kids where they can earn tickets and redeem for prizes. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Steph V — Google review
Fun hour or so here on a hot Saturday for Mom and tween. Played mini golf, rode race cars and bumper boats. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
Heidi B — Google review
We came here spur of the moment and so glad we did! It was such a cute little spot with lots of stuff to do! Really cheap pricing if you ask me! We came just to play mini golf and do arcade games but it was hopping with kids everywhere! The park we well kept, and the workers were so friendly! If we ever come back to the area we will definitely come back!
Hanah L — Google review
We played mini golf. It was a fine course. The balls bounce back out of the cups often - sort of frustrating, but the price was quite reasonable which we appreciated as a family of ten. Very friendly staff.
Kevin B — Google review
Always a great time for the family. Fun put put, friendly staff, clean. We come every summer!

Best dunkins this store smells like donut when you enter. Fresh donut so friendly staff. They put a smile on your face. Bagel are so soft and french culler are best.
Simran M — Google review
Nice variety of options for breakfast foods. This week is 4th of July week and almost all the donuts are star shaped. The also had a sand bucket that they fill with 50 munchkins
Adrianna B — Google review
No smile, no hello, no you're welcome... asked for extra toast bread on my sandwich, it's not even toasted. Bathrooms are shared with the attached gas station and nasty AF... wasn't even any soap, just a big bottle of hands sanitizer. 0 stars, do not recommend.
Tami L — Google review
Look at this beautiful doughnut! It tasted as delicious as it looks! Paired with my blueberry flavored coffee, this doughnut made for a lovely afternoon snack. Stop by for delicious treats when you're in the area!

I placed my order on the screen, I always confirm that I have everything on there before paying for my things. When I got my order I checked to make sure I had gotten everything and noticed I was missing an order of hash browns. I walked up to the register and the first guy didn’t seem to understand me but I still waited to see if he would give me the extra hash browns I ordered. My boyfriend had bought something from the gas station side and when he came by me I told him I was missing an order of hash browns and that I had told the first rep but didn’t think he understood me. So my bf went to the guy that was taking the drive thru orders telling him about our missing item and gave us an attitude right away. I tried to explain what I had ordered and he then provided me with my receipt. On the receipt it showed the $6 dollar meal and a little further down a 6 piece order of hash browns. When my boyfriend tried to show him the receipt the guy rolled his eyes pushed my boyfriend’s hand off the receipt to which my boyfriend called him out for it. Never experienced such rude customer service. We left right after but just some advice if you pay with your Dunkin app you can report your concern and you’ll get free points in case you ever experience something similar which by the reviews I can see we were not the only ones.
Galicia P — Google review
Worst dunkin drink I have ever drank in my life. Bad service and the employees over there are not professional in treatment! The guy shouted infront of my face once i requested and said that the coffee doesnt taste well ( Just hot water). First main mistake he took the same used cup and he wanted to add esspresso! He cannot use our cup anymore. He should provide us a brand new coffee cup which he did later after a huge argument and very bad attitude and what I have been told from the other employee that was the manager. Never buy from there
Ramessi — Google review
Best dunkin donut I visited in my life. Welcoming atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Best bagel with bacon egg and cheese. Ice butter pecan latte with almond milk. And my favorite dounts in the picture. Love fresh donuts.
Star Y — Google review
Been waiting for a employee to take my order for 5 minutes, all they really did was helping people in the drive thru. They turned around and said that if I wanted to order something I had to use the screen. Not the service I was hoping for.

Very good restaurant in the area for fast food better than mcdonald's.For sure, way cleaner way faster, always right.

Horrible experience! First of all, why is it acceptable to not contain long hair?? Why are beards allowed to not have proper covering? You are making food for people to eat! When you are out of product, disable the option for that product on the app! I ordered online, my ordered was to be ready at 630. I arrived on time. My ordered was not even started yet. Kid tells me they are out of meatballs. Why is it available to order if your out?? He offers me the choice of a different sandwich, or refund. I asked for turkey on Italian herbs and cheese. The kid pulls out white bread. I questioned him. He said it was Italian. I said, oh, you must be out of the cheese for the top. He looked me dead in the eye and said, We are out of Italian bread. Then why did you tell me it was the bread I ordered?? Come on now. Finally my sandwiches are done. The bearded boy starts bagging my cookies. I ordered 2 chocolate chip and 2 oatmeal raisins. Imagine how angry I am to hear that there is only 1 chocolate chip cookie left. So again, I'm asked to choose a substitute. Not making the mistake of coming to this location again.
Deborah P — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience. The server was rude and took over a minute just to put on gloves — it felt like a joke. He seemed completely uninterested in both his job and the customers. The prep station was filthy, and the veggies were all mixed together — a serious concern for anyone with allergies. This was my first and definitely last visit to this location.
Greenocean — Google review
No Smiling staff here and the women’s restroom was FILTHY! The ONLY toilet paper to use was a roll sitting on the floor between stalls. The soap dispenser was broken.. and there was some substance ( cola? Root beer?) spilled and dried on the lobby floor by the soda machine. Honestly, They need to hire cleaning staff! It was bad!!
Kelly R — Google review
Placed a online order paid for it then my sister went to pick it up was told there was no order placed. Funny thing is I have proof it was placed and paid for and would be ready at 4:30. Then called and very unprofessional and never got a call back. Will be making a report. Will never order from there again. Bridgman subway.
Christine G — Google review
There were 5 teenagers working all with long hair not tied up or wearing hair nets and another person in back that was playing loud music and yelling on and off. Service was very slow, bread for my sandwich was stale!!! Place was dirty!!! Won't stop there again!!
Anne C — Google review
We go there for the convenience of it being close by, but shouldnt. Its always unclean, from the floors to the back counters. Veggie pans hold mixed ingedients of other pans that were dropped while sandwich making. Lettuce in the spinach etc..each pan mixed ings. Counters behind the glass a mess never wiped. Employees never smile, always 3-5 people working in that small space with most around the corner in back room being loud. Employes are not well trained, sandwiches arent pretty at all.. why do we go there, cause its close, always regret it and say we arent going back. Need better trained employes. Owner needs to inspect that place, hire a cleaning company.
Zaz M — Google review
Rocking that line guys good job. Great sandwiches everytime. Fantastic
