Holland State Park - Macatawa Campground offers a picturesque beachfront setting with paved bike trails, sunset views, and convenient concessions. Visitors can explore the iconic Big Red lighthouse and indulge in dining experiences at nearby Saugatuck. The campground provides spacious sites with amenities like fire rings and picnic tables, along with modern restroom and shower facilities. While the lighthouse may be small, the stunning sandy beach, snack shack offerings, and expansive parking make it a worthwhile visit.
This was our first time staying at the beach campground at Holland State Park. We usually book at the other campground, but decided to try something new — and we’re so glad we did! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which makes it super easy to catch a sunset or spend the day by the water. The campground itself has a really nice vibe, and the facilities were spotless — probably some of the cleanest bathrooms and showers we’ve seen at a state park. It’s definitely a great spot if you want to be close to the beach while still enjoying the camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Holland State Park is a decent spot if you’re looking for a quick beach outing. The view of the iconic Big Red lighthouse and the sunset over Lake Michigan are definitely worth seeing. However, the park gets very crowded, especially on weekends, making parking and finding a quiet spot on the beach difficult. Facilities like restrooms and concessions could be maintained better, and sometimes the cleanliness of the beach is hit-or-miss. Overall, it’s nice for a visit, but not the most relaxing experience if you’re hoping for peace and space.
Prashant D — Google review
The bathrooms and showers were filthy. The bathrooms stunk and they were not kept up. We were here in 2024 and thought they were great, but no longer. The plastic shower benches that were gray in color were almost black as they weren’t washed all season. I don’t know what was smeared on wall. Green mold, lots of spiders and webs. They were really gross. Come on folks, you can do better.
Cynde M — Google review
Website is deceptive. On the official website it says that it has a dog beach, and that it is pet friendly. When I arrived, however I found out that their signs all the way across the beach saying no animals and their so-called “dog beach.” is nothing more than a spot with sand with no apparent water involved. They do have a bathroom with flushing toilets that is right by the beach, which is nice however, it has these stalls that have benches that would seem to be a changing type area only there’s no curtains or doors or anything on them for any sort of privacy. In the same building as the bathrooms they do have a little gift shop place that offers some limited food and drink options. I got the soft serve chocolate ice cream, single scoop and let me tell you they don’t give you very much for what they charge for it. One thing that was nice though is that they do have I think there was two spots with those beach sand walk runners that make it much easier to get further down on the beach. I used Google maps to direct me to the beach and instead it directed me to the campground parking. I found that if I didn’t turn into the campground parking, I just kept driving eventually I did get to the beach.

This was our first visit to Holland State Park, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We stayed at the beach campground, where the campsites were generously sized and the utility hookups were well-maintained and easy to access. The bathhouse was impressively clean, well-lit, and conveniently located. One of the highlights was the stunning night sky — with the campground set away from the city lights of Holland, the darkness allows for incredible stargazing. We enjoyed breathtaking views of stars and planets that made the evenings truly memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay.

Why google has this as a hotel, First off this is a campground! Nice campground, very clean well maintained. We came up for wedding only got to stay a couple nights. We got sites next to friends had a great time. Only issue i had was tight in some areas for large fifth wheel good thing it wasn't full..lol we'd stay here again you're in walking distance from lake michigan.
Lee B — Google review
Since it was Labor Day, the park was very crowded to say thw least. But the beach is great overlooking the Lake Michigan. Crystal clear water is enchanting to just sit and watch. One can take nice walk on the pier that extends well into the water. Lots of boat activities were taking place. Excellent location to spend the day!
Jayarangan R — Google review
It's absolutely beautiful. Campsites are very close and not much or any separation or privacy from one campsite to the next. It's very obvious that it is mostly "seasonal" campers/families. Which is nice, but that without separation between campsites is a little awkward, giving an "out of place" feeling. The beach, the park, and bathrooms :) are truly great. Definitely would go back.

Tunnel Park is a charming 22-acre gem that offers visitors a delightful blend of natural beauty and recreational fun. Nestled along the shores of Lake Michigan, this park features a unique tunnel that winds through sand dunes, leading you to a stunning beach reminiscent of coastal Italy. The journey through the tunnel is an adventure in itself! Once you emerge on the other side, you're greeted by soft sands and breathtaking views.
Came here with my wife last weekend. She had found out about this place about two months ago and wanted to take me here 😊 I'm glad she did because this is a really cool park! The tunnel taking you to the beach is cool, and its very well maintained, there's not sand everywhere like we were expecting. There's also a beautiful overlook with benches and picnic tables with a little pollination garden. And lastly, they have an awesome playground! This is why I love Holland, this is just one of the many amazing places here!
Zachary F — Google review
Gives you a wholesome experience of Lake Michigan from the top. Very clean beach however walking down the sand dunes up to the beach is very challenging and so is getting back . You can see the red lighthouse very clearly. The beach is less crowded & the sunset is breathtaking.
Jaita G — Google review
This place felt like the best kept secret of Holland! We went to a few places with beach access, but this one was hands down, the best. A lot less crowded. Just bring your blankets, your water bottle, and your chairs so you can enjoy the water and the sun. Restrooms have a soda machine if you want something sweet. There’s also a play area for the kids near the parking lot. You do pay for parking and you can do this with your phone, so make sure it’s charged up before you go. There are two entrances to the beach. Straight in, and a set up stairs you can climb up, then climb down to the beach. There are 68 total steps, so try that if you are adventurous ◡̈ Otherwise, do the tunnel. When it opens up to the sun and water, it’s breathtaking.

After waiting in line for the Holland State Park we found this beach on the map and it was considerably less busy. It was less expensive to park only $8. Perfectly sandy beach with no rocks and crystal clear water. They have changing rooms and a clean bathroom. Next time we are in the Holland area we will definitely stop by tunnel Park again.
Steven O — Google review
It's one of our favorite spors in Holland. It doesn't get super crowded and oh boyyyyy...the sunset there is magical. You can go through the stairs or climb the sand dune. There is a playground, a big beautiful park and lots of place to park your car...it is like $8 to park and its for the whole day
Yllka G — Google review
Beautiful beach. Nice and sandy, not stoney at all. Great place to take the family. It has the outside shower sprayer to wash off algae in the summer. Bathrooms are kept up well and there is a playground that is great for the kids
Chuck A — Google review
Cutest park with great beach access! Going through the tunnel feels a little bit like entering a beach in Italy. Parking lot is gravel but has lots of spots and offers a short walk to the tunnel. Public restrooms are present. Pay station is located by the bathrooms. Has a nice grassy area to picnic as well if you don’t want to go to the beach. there is also a great lookout after up quite a few stairs that overlooks lake michigan. Beautiful park!!

Beautiful Michigan beach. A little smaller than many of the others beaches, and a small staircase to get onto the beach. Clean bathrooms with flushable toilets. Kids playground.

Kollen Park

Park
Kollen Park, also known as the Heinz Waterfront Walkway, is a serene and picturesque waterfront park in Holland, Michigan. It offers a range of recreational amenities such as a band shelter, playground, boat launch ramps, picnic areas, and a large group picnic shelter. The park spans 30 acres and features Lake Macatawa frontage with boardwalks and fishing decks.
We visited Kollen Park after dinner one evening on our vacation and it was beautiful! The playground looked fun for families with little kids. There was a beautiful fountain. And we stumbled across a free concert of some kind at the amphitheater. We grabbed our outdoor blanket and relaxed for a bit, listening to the music, before we headed down to the waterfront to watch the sunset. I would have loved to walk more of the walkway, but we didn't have time. If I lived in Holland, I think I'd find myself at this park all the time! Absolutely beautiful. The grass was lush and soft. Lots of places to just sit and enjoy nature.
Jodi S — Google review
This park is beautiful. It has a lovely playground area, beautiful walk along the water that is wheelchair, accessible, benches, picnic table, pavilion, large grassy area, restrooms, boat launch, and a decent amount of parking. The park is clean, and well maintained.
Jess L — Google review
Wonderful park with kids area and amphitheatre abutting Lake Macatawa. Abundant (and free) parking. Stroll a large portion of the lakefront on the promenade. Friday nights in the summer offer free concerts (6:30-8:30pm) and often a food truck. Bring your own chairs or blankets, food and beverages (alcohol is forbidden), and plan to sing along or even dance with the locals.
Brett R — Google review
We came on a rainy day & it was still enjoyable. We had a "picnic" under the pavilion. The kids played on the playground. And my husband and son did some fishing; only caught 1 small perch before we had to take off (before the storm hit). Plenty of parking, restrooms on-site. Enjoyable experience.
Chelsea A — Google review
Parked near the parking lot that was closer to Boatwerks restaurant. Boardwalk clean and plenty of seating for tired feet or those with handicap (walker/wheelchair). View was beautiful! Would go back. Visited on a Thursday in afternoon and it wasn't very busy at the park.
ELOEL — Google review
Mostly clean, there were spider webs around some of the bars so watch out for that. Play structure makes it hard for adults to go in without excessive ducking. Still a great view of the lake. Grass is kept green. Free from trash.
Phi D — Google review
Kollen Park is such a beautiful place. There is something for everyone. There are free concerts in the summer, playground for the kids. Benches, walking paths, bathrooms, and a gorgeous sunset view! Fishing is encouraged.

Festival
Tulip Time Festival Office is a charming and cosmopolitan Dutch village known for its freshwater beaches and stunning sunsets. The festival, which takes place over eight days in early May, showcases millions of tulips in full bloom, attracting visitors from across the Midwest. The city's heritage and the beauty of the colorful flower are celebrated through various events during this time.
So beautiful! Amazing tulips. Wasn't too busy on a Monday afternoon. Parking was a little tough, but I found a good spot. If you haven't been to the tulip festival, I highly recommend it. So many varieties. Near each type of tulip they have QR codes and it will tell you what kind they are.
Amy G — Google review
It was an experience, something different to do and see. The tulips are gorgeous and the town is cute. Be aware that there are LOTS of people. I know it’s a festival and I knew it was going to be busy. But I was not expecting a sea of people. Some parts were difficult to move through. I am happy we went and we saw. Not sure if we’ll make it every year, but it was a nice road trip for the family. And the weather was absolutely perfect.
Shastina — Google review
Everyone who loves flowers and Dutch history should attend the Holland, Michigan Tulip Festival at least once. It’s so beautiful and impressive how the local community comes together and volunteers to make this top notch event possible. The streets and boulevards- for blocks and blocks near downtown Holland are beautifully lined with tulips. Our young bus tour guide, once a college student here, told us how whole residential households dedicate time and care to plant them. I think the local pride, togetherness, and tulip planting skills are most impressive.
Jeannie H — Google review
They make this seem much more grand on TV and in pictures. It's cute. Not worth the money. The tulip display along the main streets is so much better than their "field of tulips"...more like a large patch. Go during the week to avoid large crowds. The $15-$17 entrance fee is not worth seeing a Dutch windmill. You think you're going to see rolling fields of tulips. You'll be disappointed. The flowers get trampled on because everyone is taking pictures. Better display at their public park for FREE
Naomi M — Google review
We went on the second day and it was nice. Nice weather, nice people, nice flowers but not much going on. I'm not sure what I expected but I just thought there would be more going on around the city. Good experience, just not great for me.
Matt M — Google review
We specifically took the walking tour with Tamara. We felt the tour was worth the price (we have heard people complain about the price). She shared the history of the town of Holland and of the festival. Gave recommendations of where to eat, shop, and see while at the festival. She shared personal anecdotes as she is from Holland. Seeing the tulips (and other flowers) in bloom is a visual treat. Parking is free for the festival. We got there early, so finding parking was easy. Traffic was frankly horrific later in the day, though I felt the police officers did a good job directing. I definitely want to go back to both the festival and Holland.
Pauline E — Google review
This was pretty, nice to visit, and a picture-takers dream. However, the $17/person entry seems expensive given you're simply going in to look at flowers. I'm not opposed to entry fees but $5/person seems more reasonable - especially when most people will buy flower bulbs on the flower selling shop (free to enter) or tchotchkies in the large gift shop (also free to enter). Abundant (and free) parking is available and there is a way to dropoff wheelchair-boubd visitors before parking in the grassy area. Plan for large yet friendly crowds
Brett R — Google review
Very beautiful. Very busy on a Saturday. Lots to see and enjoying the down town veiw. Flowers where in full bloom Very pretty colors. The windmill would of like to see but long line just to get in. Would of been better to go not on a Saturday lol. Still enjoyed the veiw.

New American restaurant
Seventy-Six is a stylish and casual-rustic eatery located in downtown Holland, offering modern and local American cuisine along with a selection of wine, cider, and cocktails. Inspired by a couple deeply in love after nearly 40 years together, this restaurant aims to provide an upscale dining experience while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
I had a pleasant lunch here one afternoon. The interior is modern and casual, yet feels a bit more upscale. The staff was friendly but unobtrusive. I was a bit off from the normal meal time, so it wasn’t terribly busy during my visit. I settled on the Dutch ham pretzel melt, and it turned out to be a great choice. The salty ham and melted smoked gouda were balanced by the sweetness of the bacon jam and the apple slices. It was a very well thought out sandwich. I was quite pleased with the place, and I think it’d make a good choice for a nice night out.
Mateo G — Google review
We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and overall had a great time besides my meal choice. The atmosphere was wonderful—warm and inviting—and our server was excellent and attentive. I was excited to try the short rib grilled cheese, but I was disappointed in the amount of short rib in it; there was hardly any, which made the sandwich plain. On the other hand, my husband ordered the burger and absolutely loved it. All in all, it was a nice experience with great service and a fun environment, but I wish my meal had lived up to the excitement I had for it
Marisa B — Google review
I’ll preface this review with the fact that we did not have a reservation with that being said, we were seated back in the private dining area. Because we were on the private dining area, we missed out on the lively atmosphere in the dining room. It was eerily quiet back there, and it seemed like our server was constantly forgetting us because he had tables in the main dining room. We had the calamari appetizer and it was absolutely outstanding. We also had the whitefish and the New York strip. The whitefish was wonderful, but it was drowning in the hollandaise sauce. I had to scrape most of it off because it was overwhelming. The New York strip was prepared as expected. It was a good steak, but not a great steak. The fries that came with the steak were wonderful. They were crispy on the outside soft in the middle and the Parmesan cheese on top was really nice.

Great meal. Service was nice as well. The chair was a bit hard. Entrance a bit tight. Otherwise, was an awesome experience.

On our trip to South Haven Michigan we decided to head up to Holland and as we were walking down the street we came across Seventy-Six. Looked like a fun spot and they had outdoor seating that accommodated the four of us . Everybody enjoyed their drinks, but their food was amazing! I had the walleye sandwich and it was easily the best walleye I have had. My wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, my brother-in-law had the Dutch Ham Pretzel melt, and my sister-in-law had the Reuben. I tried all of theirs and there was not a bad sandwich at our table, plus the fries were excellent! I do not remember our servers name, but it was during lunch service on 8/7/25, she was amazing! She had a clear understanding of the foods and admitted to trying everything on the menu allowing her to give knowledgeable feedback on the sandwiches. Highly recommend if you are traveling to Holland or passing by, it is on our list to visit once again when in the area!

Great place in downtown Holland, Michigan. Nice relaxing atmosphere with excellent food and a nice variety to choose from. Highly recommend!
DOUG S — Google review
Visited Holland from out of town. Came here with my husband and our 2 year old for lunch — despite the farmers market down the street, the restaurant was not too busy. While there isn’t a kids’ menu or booster seats available, they did have kid-friendly plates not listed on the menu. The food was great — fresh flavors, adequate portioning, fair price for the quality. Loved the avocado & tortilla salad with blackened shrimp. Excellent service. Atmosphere was cool & inviting — I would not bring a gaggle of rambunctious children but our toddler did fine and enjoyed her grilled cheese and fries.
BAsh90 — Google review
Nice place. They try hard to be hip. The food is decent, a bit high in price. I recommend reservations and getting there earlier if you can. They may run out of some dishes. I would have liked to try the bacon wrapped dates, but they were out. We did the crab rangoon instead. It was average. Everything we tried was pretty good- the best might actually have been the beef short rib cheese sandwich. That was solid. My pork chop was ok- decent size and flavorful, but a little more dry than I'd like for 30 bucks. Their hash was fantastic- well seasoned and crispy. The fish sandwich and fries were acceptable. Our drinks, the staff, and the atmosphere made for a good experience.

Such a clean, cute place! The portions are generous, the flavors are on point & the staff was just amazing. Highly recommend the wall eye & the mushroom risotto. The crab cakes were super good too. We have key lime pie for dessert, not too sweet, good balance of flavors. 10/10

Wonderful shaded setting for lunch on the water. The wait staff was friendly but service was slow. Not a big deal bc of the view. The fruity alcoholic drinks were $11 each. They were tasty but seemed like they had no alcohol. The food was above average bar food. Spinach and artichoke dip was solid. BBQ sandwich was tasty but had very little meat. The truffle fries were really good. Go for the view and know you’ll have good food but nothing all that special. We will return with that expectation.

Posting for anyone like us, two moms with two young kids looking for a nice but casual early dinner. We came around 5:30 and sat outside we loved the waterfront ambiance! At that time, it still had a casual vibe, which was perfect for people with young kids just trying to have a nice meal while clinging for their lives. 😅 By the time we were leaving around 7, the fancier crowd was starting to roll in, but we never felt out of place. The calamari was great, the shrimp and scallop ravioli was delicious, and the perch was just okay. The kids’ menu was solid, and our server David was amazing, attentive, friendly, and great with the kids. Highly recommend for families who want a beautiful setting without the pressure of being super formal.

Such a beautiful view of the river! Our waitress was so good! Came with a big family and it didn't take very long compared to how big our group was. I ordered the mac and cheese, and it was very good! The atmosphere was good. There are cool boat related things outside!

I ordered the shrimp and scallop tortellini, it was great! My girlfriend ordered the perch and it was missing something. My meal was very tasty and so was our side of crab cakes. Hers was not as memorable. Great service, great atmosphere, a nice place for a date!

Great food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant is located right on the beautiful Lake Macatawa in Holland MI. I enjoyed the delicious Faroe Island Salmon and my husband had the Walleye. Everything was delicious, large servings and fresh.

Came here with my wife for dinner on our weekly date day. It had been on my Google Want To Go list so I was excited 😊 We pull in and are greeted by a nice boat themed sign with a cool gold propeller. I took a picture of it before we walked on. We liked the old racing boat out front too, that's really cool! They also have some nice flowers by the entrance. And lastly, the interior is nice and spacious with a great view of Lake Macatawa. The service was really nice, everyone was nice and they were very attentive. I can't remember what it was called but we ordered this blood orange drink that was delicous! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer. It was really good, they use some great cheeses and that makes a difference. For my entree I got the lobster roll with truffle fries. For a Michigan lobster roll it is quite good, and the truffle fries went well with it. But what really blew our minds was my wife's entree: The Brisket sandwich. We each tried a bite of our foods, and neither of could believe how good the Brisket sandwich was! Wow! Excellent flavor, great texture, and well proportioned! Utterly amazing! We will definitely be back 😁

Rating four stars. The food was great and flavorful, service was amazing, and drinks were delicious. I took off one star because the salsa (pictured) tastes like straight up tomato soup 🥫 like they poured out a can of tomato soup and served it as “salsa”… honestly a jar of Tostitos salsa would have been 1000x better than the salsa they gave us. I say this not to criticize, but to help this restaurant be better. If you’d change the salsa, it would level up this restaurant significantly. I hope you really do fix this. You’d get many more returning customers. Sincerely, a self-proclaimed foodie.

Hot dog restaurant
Dune Dogz is a charming beachside eatery in Holland that offers a diverse menu of ice cream treats, as well as various types of hot dogs, burgers, and sandwiches. They even have a dedicated section for fried foods. The staff are always friendly, and the food is both delicious and slightly pricier than typical fast food options. However, the high quality of the dishes and the inviting beach atmosphere make it worthwhile. Their lemonade is particularly exceptional.
We are so glad we walked over from the campground next door to enjoy dinner here! We ordered 2 Chicago dogs which were perfectly made and very tasty. They were right in point! The fries are a little pricey, but well worth it! We got a small and it was a tower of fresh, crispy fries that were absolutely delicious. Don’t snooze in the fries, they’re well worth the price. There was no way we were missing out on dessert. The medium sundae is a great buy at $5, add $1 for the hard ice cream from Hudsonville. It’s totally worth it! This is some of the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. My guy got the hot fudge banana royal which was gigantic. He also subbed the hard ice cream choice. Definitely make this a stop in your trip to the beach. You won’t be disappointed!

It's a shack for beach food so temper your expectations. A small fries is $7 with $2 extra for a tiny squirt of cheese. The portions are tiny and everything is just bagged frozen off-brand food. We trusted the other reviews and shouldn't have. Unless youre starving and can't make it a mile down the road into town, do yourself a favor and pass on by.

Perfect spot for a beach bite or a cooldown after a hike on Mt Pisquah. Lots of ice cream options too. Food quality isn’t amazing, but is reflected in the low price.

What a fun spot on the way to Holland State Park! Let’s call it extra delicious, stationary carnival food! Super charming atmosphere. Outdoor seating only. I had the Chicago style hotdog which was absolutely delicious. The fries are also a home run.

After a walk on the beach, stopped by for what we thought was going to be a quick, affordable bite to eat. Ordered 2 medium drinks, medium fries, 2 hot dogs and a "grilled chicken" wrap... all for 42$ ... grilled chicken wrap was cold, I had to walk up and ask if it was cooked.

They changed their corn dog batter . The hot dogs themselves were a little better than last year (2024) but the batter was no good.very cheep tasting, like a gas station corn dog or frozen. The fried pickle spears were decent. A large lemonade is very pricy with mostly ice ($8) but decent tasting . My daughter loves this place. We come every year. but this time she didn’t finish her corn dog. The dogs are not great quality for how expensive they are. Customer service is a bit lacking too.

What treasure on the Lakeshore!!! It is a nice short afternoon trip from Grand Rapids, Muskegon or Kalamazoo located in Holland, MI. The food is fantastic, and the selection is amazing, so many choices you have to keep coming back for more! Burgers, hotdogs, fish and so many delicious crisped up vegetables. It was like I "fried" and went to Heaven. The prices are very reasonable, the service is fast and friendly, and I had the great opportunity to meet the owners Dan and Kim. You can tell they care about their food and customers. The decor and flowers surrounding the restaurant are absolutely beautiful. Did I mention they have ice cream and other hot weather treats. The grape slush is my favorite!!! I highly recommend Dune Dogz & Treats when you want to treat yourself and your family.

Good hot dogs and French fries, the fried pickles tasted overcooked though and had a weird batter. Ice cream was good though and the workers were kind! No bathrooms (that we saw at least)

Butch's Dry Dock is a renowned dining establishment located in Downtown Holland, just a short drive from Allegan County, Michigan. It offers both formal dining and a casual pub experience with an extensive selection of traditional dishes and an impressive array of wines and beers. The restaurant takes pride in being one of the select few worldwide to hold the prestigious Wine Spectator's Best Award of Excellence, showcasing its commitment to offering top-notch wine and beer options that perfectly complement their delectable food offerings.
A really good restaurant. Great cocktails and wines during happy hour (4-6pm). Staff was great. I chatted with several locals and tourists during happy hour as I tried various wines and cocktails, and then got a table on the back patio with outdoor seating. Had the burger paired with a really nice Gamay. IMO the best place in town for a nice private dinner, or sitting inside at the bar. First time you go there it is a bit tricky finding the bathroom (but locals had funny stories about it).

We went here for my birthday. It was a lovely place! But my partner and I had some feedback: 1. Old Fashioned: my partner ordered this. It was too strong. A lot of the sugar was sitting on the bottom and not mixed in. However the more he drank and swirled, it became more watered down and easier to drink. 2. Rib Eye Steak: 6/10 For the price, this missed the mark. The fat was not cooked enough and the meat was somewhat rubbery - may have been frozen. It needed more salt and pepper before cooking and I ended up rubbing the butter from our bread to help enhance the flavor. The house Demi did not do enough to make up for it unfortunately. Recommendation: Go to a steak house instead if you have a steak craving. 3. Sourdough Bread: it was really good! But salty (I know it says salt in the menu, but it was really salty). And it was not worth the price (you get like four pieces of bread for $10) Now on to the positives! 1. The Dark and Stormy cocktail was really good as well as the glass of wine we ordered. They have many to choose from. 2. The chicken I ordered was really good! Very juicy. I just wish it came with a side. 3. The service was very good. We were directed to our seats right away and our server was very friendly and attentive. 4. I love the tulip wine glasses! They are very cute! 5. Espresso: Tasted freshly ground. Good flavor and not too acidic. 6. Fall Gelato: Seasonal. Best thing on the menu! Fall notes: cinnamon, gingerbread. Not overly sweet. Bottom Line: Lovely place, worth a try. We would still come back, but will try different things!

A delicious dinner in downtown historic Holland. We did not have reservations, but we’re still seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was wonderfully delicious. We started with the curried pumpkin soup, it had a wonderful flavor. It was delicious. I had salmon that was prepared perfectly. We also had the filet mignon, which was equally delicious. I would definitely eat here again the next time I’m in downtown Holland.

My cocktail was to die for. They were accommodating with my kids and their allergies, making sure to confirm allergens with the kitchen so we could adjust orders respectively. The sourdough starter was shared between 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids) and was a favorite.

Our food was excellent and perfectly prepared. Karrie took such good care of us and was a lovely server and an wonderful addition to our night. Matt, who I believe was the GM, was gracious. His attention to detail went above and beyond. Every fine dining establishment should have him on board. Lovely restaurant, lovely dinner, lovely evening. Thank you both for making it perfect. We dined outdoors with another couple. The appetizer bread and butter is a must! We had 4 different entrees, all excellent. I had the hanger steak...highly recommend it! I ordered it medium, and it was perfect for my taste and as the server described it. Our server, Megan T, was knowledgeable, friendly and top-notch! Suggest reservation for outside dining.

We sat at the bar (tables were available but we wanted the bar). We had a nice bottle of wine ($60). We had the scallops ($18) as an app. For meals my husband had the chili walleye ($32) and I had the filet ($56). It was worth every penny! Jeanette was our bartender/server and she was wonderful! It was an excellent atmosphere. It's family friendly, casual but at the same time classy and fine dining. We will definitely be back!

I wasn't overly impressed with the food I received. I ordered gnocchi and scallops. The portion size was very small. Only two scallops the size of quarters, and they were slightly overdone. It was bland unfortunately. The drinks were very good and had the right amount of alcohol. I understand the target customer but for the price of everything, I would have rather spent it at Ruth's Chris.
