Walmart Supercenter offers a convenient shopping experience with a variety of services. Customers appreciate the availability of "granny carts" for easier transportation, especially for those with disabilities. The store boasts numerous checkout options, including self-checkouts and multiple staffed aisles to minimize wait times. Visitors commend the friendly and helpful staff, particularly highlighting individuals like Tracy for their exceptional service. Additionally, the pharmacy is praised for its efficiency and flu shot availability without appointments.
This Walmart is well stocked and has whatever is consistent with other Walmarts in this region. Always clean with a friendly helpful staff. There is a full service pharmacy, automotive center and garden center attached. I can't say anything bad about this store

While shopping at Walmart, I used the grocery card provided by my medical insurance provider hoping to save money on grocery purchases. About $15 of the final costs were not food products. The cost of groceries was around $55.00 plus tax. Walmart honored only $16 from my grocery card. Real groceries were not accepted for purchase on the grocery program card by Walmart. What?!? Real groceries not covered? Why not? Why? Whats the use of having a medical insurance benefit for groceries and over the counter medicine when Walmart restricts payments for legitimate, real food products? I ended up using a credit card to pay the difference of $56.00. I prefer not to use credit for food purchases. I plan to shop elsewhere with the card because Walmart does a poor job of servicing the card. Compared to Sprouts, Walmart has lower prices for pasture raised egg items and frozen fruit and Ezekiel breads, you may not be able to use your insurance grocery card to purchase the items at Walmart. I wish that Walmart would offer more organic fruit and vegetables items. Also, hair product choices for Black women is very limited, no competition, just one expensive product brand while offering way too many hair product brands for women with straight hair. (Two aisles worth vs two shelves for black women hair products). Walmart used to sell a selection of authentic pure shea butter items, but now it sells only an off brand mixed with chemicals I refuse to put on my hair

Overall, I’m very happy shopping inside Walmart stores. But I had a very disappointing experience with a recent online marketplace-type transaction—which I didn’t realize at the time was from a third-party seller partnered with Walmart through their marketplace offering. I ordered air filters for my Instant Vortex air fryer, expecting a simple replacement. What arrived looked hastily assembled, like something torn from a roll and mailed without care. The filters were too long, didn’t fit properly, and shed loose fibers after installation. There was no documentation, no labeling, and no indication of what the materials were. What truly concerned me was the fiber shedding. I don’t know if the fibers pose a health hazard—but with no information provided and visible strands left behind after installation, I wasn’t willing to take the risk. The idea of unknown fibers circulating in the exhaust air during cooking was unsettling. I couldn’t trust them, and I didn’t even test their effectiveness. I ended up buying the official Instant Vortex OdorErase filters from Amazon instead. They came sealed, with clear instructions, and gave me peace of mind. The difference in quality was night and day. This experience felt misleading and unsafe. I’ve requested a refund through Walmart’s system, but I hope they improve transparency around third-party sellers. Marketplace purchases should meet the same standards as in-store ones—especially when health and safety are involved.

I'm going to post my review and response about the video that I just saw here shortly. It's taking a lot longer to write it. Respectfully, even though right? There's only one person in this matter that deserved respect. And he was the only person who did not get it. So I'll be back, don't worry. I'll be right back...

The store is well stocked and very nice. It was my first time there. With a little assistance I was able to locate an item thatI was having trouble finding. At the checkout, the cashier, was Not at all cordial, he didn't bother to even look at me! just started scanning my items after he took a dtink from his container. I did say hello to him when I walked up to the register to place my items for checkout, He Did Not Respond! My previous experience at a different Walmart in a nearby town, was always pleasant with each and every cashier.

After reading some of the reviews it makes sense.. manager seemed scared of anyone who acknowledged his existence. Maybe don’t work in retail where you’ll have to interact with big scary customers 😂 all I did was ask if y’all still had something politely and you get bent out of shape. “Did you even look!” (while trembling btw). Yeah dude, I did. That’s why I asked. You have a company phone that lets you see if you have any more of what I was asking about in the back. The terrified man then speed walks to the area to show me there were still items there. Turns out I was right, they were not stocked on the shelves… they were in the back. Way to go little boy… you managed to embarrass yourself for nothing and instead of apologizing you sent one of your associates to bring the item to me 😂 I made a comment about you to them and they weren’t very nice about what they had to say about you. Management needs training.

The employees are unhelpful and don’t seem to know much about the Walmart store they work in. Colored hair, body piercings, and tattoos now seem to be the norms for this establishment. This makes most people uncomfortable. The lack of respect, kindness, and knowledgeable employees is what makes your shopping experience unbearable. This is Green Valley Walmart and the Nogales Arizona Walmart even worst and dirty and nobody seems to want to work at that Walmart they herd you like cattle towards the registers and heaven for bid if a employee had to ring you up very bad customer service the worst I have ever experienced in 40 years. I don’t recommend shopping there it will just leave you frustrated and disappointed.

Showed up at auto shop to have a new tire checked which mysteriously went flat on I-10 Morning supervisor told me it might be awhile, which was understandable. He checked the flat new tire and said the they would check to see if the flat was caused by hitting a pot hole causing a " beed" separation. He checked if the had a replacement tire since. Y Volvo had competition size, they did if needed. About 3 hours later when an afternoon supervisor came in, I was told my car was ready. He had put on a new tire, when I ask about the flat he said it looked ok... so I ask why it haven't been repaired He just said " just didn't" so had to pay for another new tire. This unprofessional attitude and failure to check actual condition of the tire. I was completing an almost 6,000 mile trip from California to Florida and back, so just paid for the tire and left. Side note: I've bought 8 sets of tires through Sam's club. And was treated in a totally unprofessional m manner! Beware, make sure this Walmart service department does what they say!!!

Yum! Was new to Green Valley and needed to eat out one evening, went to this restaurant after reading a review on Nextdoor. It was maybe 25% full during a week night. The people we met were very nice. The waitress was courteous. The place although old was in decent shape. One thing I didn’t like were coverings on the booth seats. In a day when people are careful with transmitting viruses this is not the cleanest thing to use as there is no way to wash the seat or even wipe off food and drink spills. That’s actually pretty disgusting. The food was lip smacking great! I had the noodles and beef. It reminded me of my mom’s cooking. It was hot, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the beef and gravy tasted homemade rather than from a can. Although I took issue with possibly the cleanliness due to the seats, I will go back and see if they have tables or booths without the cloth coverings.

Omg! What a little gem! The food was fresh and delicious! I had a salad and it was wonderful. Gale my server was so sweet and the whole staff was friendly .. you can tell by the flyers it is a staple in the community and it shows! The condiments were clean and neat, everything full and well taken care of.. I don’t live in the area but I will definitely stop in next time I’m in town

Decided to give the Family restaurant a try after driving by and always seeing a lot of cars. Did not disappoint. All of our meals were excellent and served by an extremely efficient server. For this type of establishment I always like to try the Classic turkey club. One of the best I’ve ever had and toasted lightly like I requested. A huge club, I couldn’t finish it all. The pot roast special was also a hit. Great food, great service.

I've gone to Arizona Family Restaurant enough times to confidently say that it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Green Valley area. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they have tasty options for any of them. The people are always friendly, which is wonderful to see. If I had family or friends visiting from out of town, this would definitely be one of the places we would want for food.

The turkey and lamb meals did not include and stuffing/dressing which was very disappointing when I discovered this at home. The phone did not work either for ordering ahead and to let them know about the missing food!

Military Museums
Nestled just south of Tucson in Sahuarita, the Titan Missile Museum stands as a remarkable testament to Cold War history. This unique site is the last remaining missile silo of its kind, offering visitors an immersive experience into a pivotal era. Guests can embark on guided tours that take them underground to explore the Titan II Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Site 571-7, where they can witness firsthand what life was like during those tense years.
Amazing! Went here on a Thursday in December 2024. Wow, just wow! Felt like a combo of Minuteman Missle NHS, Star Trek First Contact, and X-Files. Great tour. Great insight from the tour guide. Limitless access to pretty much everything in the complex. And the cherry on top was touring outside above ground. I would have paid triple and still thought it was a great value. Super easy to get to with plenty of parking, gift shop, and restrooms. You will not regret your visit.
Jimmer W — Google review
Very cool place to visit! At the Titan Missile Museum you go underground into a real Cold War missile silo and see the massive missile up close. The scale of everything is incredible and really makes you feel the history. The guides are excellent — they explain everything in a very interesting and easy-to-follow way. Definitely worth it if you’re in Tucson!

This place is awesome!!!! My son and I really liked it and we BOTH want to recommend it. The tour was very informational and going down into the complex was very cool. The price was very reasonable, able to take pictures (obviously) and if you go......when asked for volunteers in the control room, do it.

This museum is absolutely worth a visit! Our guide, Steve, brought the experience to life with a great mix of humor and deep knowledge. After the tour, I even had the chance to connect my ham radio to the original 80-foot-tall, 60-year-old Collins Discage antenna — and made contacts all the way to Hawaii and my uncle in Tennessee. A truly unforgettable experience!

I attended the guided tour, I recommend the tour over topside viewing. It’s a fun adventure into the military tech of the 1960s. Just thinking about being stationed here waiting for a fight that never happened in a secret location had me imagining the lives of these young men. What an interesting time the Cold War was. Having grownup in the 80/ and 90s we had more of a sense of purpose in those days. Great tour and guides.

This is a great inexpensive room to rent for small gatherings. I have used it both for a baby shower and a birthday party. They have two different size rooms a small room and a larger room. Clean restrooms, staff very easy to work with. This room is right next to the new splash pad. The parking lot is a little small and it is used by the public since it is right next to the splash pad, so just be aware of that for your event. Would definitely use it again!

Even though my wife and I own and operate a restaurant/bar which is in a close proximity to Pub 22, I have nothing but respect for their operation. The food is good, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. Prices are in line with the Sahuarita market's high rent and labor costs. My only complaint would be that I wish Pub 22 would be open a little later.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain that has been delighting breakfast enthusiasts for years with its signature offerings and an impressive selection of coffee beverages. One of the highlights at Dunkin' is their delightful assortment of donuts, available in tempting flavors like Glazed, Double Chocolate, Strawberry Frosted, and many more. Whether you're craving something classic or adventurous, there's a donut to satisfy every sweet tooth.
I placed an online order SPECIFICALLY asking for LESS ICE in my drink. I usually get less or no ice in my drinks because I have ice here at my workplace, so there really is no need to have ice. I payed $1.25 extra for a large drink to have less ice than usual. As soon as I get my order, there is more ice than Antarctica!! I work in fast food/customer service, it’s not that hard to fulfill a customers request, A simple request at that! There was not one, but TWO stickers stating LESS ICE!!! I guess no one has 20/20 vision anymore to miss this request!!! This is not the first time that this has happened, I usually turn a blind eye because hey you never know what happened. But for this to happen countless times is UNACCEPTABLE! Hey management maybe train your employees to do their job right!!! That’s what you pay them for anyways! So disappointed! Don’t ever expect your drink to be made right
Aracely R — Google review
I will NEVER understand how this Dunkin is always such a disaster. Waiting 20-30 minutes in the drive thru every time is ridiculous. For simple items that shouldn’t take more than minutes to bag. Mobile order are always a mess. They ask you who it’s for and then still never have it ready. Never have anything by 8am they are sold out. Like what?? The staff always has attitude. I’ve been to Dunkin’s in 10x busier cities that do not have these issues. DO BETTER!!!!
Melissa R — Google review
They messed up the order a couple times and tried to make it right fast. But they ended up giving us a burned bagel and we didn't find out until later down the road. I love Duncan with this place could get a little bit better on their service.
Peter S — Google review
So the egg and cheese was nasty tasting.. that is not bacon in the EGG, THAT IS BURNED CHEESE!! Then the toast with avocado was so burt they completely covered it so I couldn't see it. I'm sick to my stomach 😩.. Is it taste like I ate a bunch of charcoal. Seriously, burnt items like this have carcinogens and increase your chances and likelihood of cancer! I brought it up to the manager and because he says my wife ate half of it, Not on purpose. Only 2 small bites. The item is very small to begin with. And she was extremely hungry. He's not gonna do a refund or a complaint or remake it.. Embarrassed us in front of the whole group of people in dunkin donuts! Making it sound like we are the bad guys looking for a hand out! I'm getting with the county, the state and corporate.
Mason R — Google review
The staff was quite rude. We asked for easy ice in our drinks, but they filled the cups completely with ice. When we politely asked at the window if they could remake them with less ice, they gave us drinks that were barely half full. We went inside to address the issue, and they still seemed upset. It really wasn’t a big deal, they could have just made them correctly the first time. I was honestly shocked when she handed me back a half-full drink just because we asked for easy ice.
Maryfer C — Google review
This is one of the worst Dunkins in Tucsons radius. I would rather drive into town than stop at this one. The quality of menu items at this one are sloppily put together. (Not Dunkin standard). Most importantly the customer service is terrible. This visit was not the first, nor second time I dealt with the same younger dark haired female employee. She is rude for no reason and argumentative. (Other customers in the restaurant made remarks on her attitude). Their manager does nothing about it and took a complaint from another customer about the same employee while I was waiting. Makes it very unpleasant to visit this location.
Jessica W — Google review
This is a review after the same experience going inside instead of the drive-thru. HORRENDOUS wait times 15+ mins for the person doing ice cream to make 2 smoothies and a shake. I never ordered because I walked out both times after 15 minutes. I wish I could leave zero stars because that’s what this place deserves. Stick to the drive-thru
Jarrod U — Google review
I don't usually make reviews, especially bad reviews but this is the second time I go home crying from a bad interaction. I come here all the time and order an iced matcha latte with brown sugar and oat milk. I choose to come to dunkin because it's close to me and the drink usually tastes great, but I could very well go to a starbucks and get my partner discount there, but again, Dunkin is closer. I have always been super patient with them, I've had to wait over 20 minutes in drive thru, and I never get upset with them because I completely understand what it's like working in customer service and drive thru. A few weeks ago I got my matcha made with reg milk instead of oat, and I didn't try it till I got on the freeway so there was no going back. I couldn't drink it since Im very sensitive to dairy products, and it made me upset since it was money wasted. I kept going back because they usually never get the drinks wrong for me. But tonight, they did. I came into the drive thru and ordered my drink, but when I got to the window, I tried it and it wasn't made with oat milk, and there was a different taste in it. I checked the label and for some reason they added blueberry to it. And when I came back to get it fixed, this guy was telling me that he made it correctly and the label says blueberry but the drink doesnt have any, but I know exactly what blueberries taste like it tasted like them. They remade my drink, but one of the guys used a condescending tone with me and it made me really upset. I got home and realized they burnt my muffin a little too. I was having a bad day and this was supposed to be a pick me up, but I ended up crying, and while that might be dramatic, this meant a lot to me. I have always been polite and patient and I don't understand why this guy always has this attitude with me when I come in.

Carl’s Jr. is a popular fast-food destination celebrated for its mouthwatering selection of towering burgers and hearty meal combos, complemented by delicious shakes. Their menu features enticing options like charbroiled all-beef patties topped with crispy bacon, melted American cheese, onion rings, and zesty BBQ sauce on a soft seeded bun. Breakfast lovers can indulge in delightful offerings such as the bacon egg and cheese biscuit or biscuits and gravy paired with refreshing orange juice.
Came into the restaurant with a large order for my employees. 30 cheese burgers and 30 medium frys. The efficiency and coordination of all the restaurant employees was top notch. Everyone worked to complete the order while also making sure drive through orders did not come out late or get forgot, while also getting the larger order out in a good time frame that the food was still hot for my employees. The general manager was very nice and so helpful in getting the order complete. Thank you very much for the hard work!! Great job!!

My husband had gone inside to get this order and he asked a woman that was sitting there if she was the manager of the location due to her doing some paper things. She proceeded to say that she was the district or general manager. She asked if she could help him and he proceeded to let her know that we never have issues with this location. That the majority of the time we go to the one on old nogales highway or duval mine rd since it's close to home. He told her our orders are always correct and not getting messed up like the way McDonald's does it. That we get treated with a welcoming and our orders get verified to make it is correct. She was very pleased when he told her that. We like going there.

The cook spoke rudely about being bothered and didn’t wanna be theee (spoke in Spanish and I know Spanish and obviously he didn’t know this) while eating only the French toast stick I got as well due to the breakfast sandwich the cook confused to complain. No music it was just too quiet and not inviting.

Always better then Hardee's. Very good breakfast with my son. 👍 Today was my first bad Biscuits and Gravy. I've ever had here. It tasted like eating Salt. It was delicious! 👍 12/15 breakfast and staff we're both outstanding. 👍 9/4/19 Biscuits and gravy with orange juice was delicious 😋 9/5/19 Burger King wasn't open at 6 am. Stopped in after coming back from Nogalas. Wasn't that hard to find. A little ways off from the freeway. Was clean and quiet inside. The staff was super friendly. Food came out fast before I could finishing filling the drinks. Fries were fresh and burgers actually had a good amount of sauce on them. Definitely one of the better Carl's Jr I've been too. Will stop back in if I'm in the area again.

Pizza restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Papa John's Pizza. This popular take-out and delivery chain specializes in both classic and specialty pizzas that cater to every palate. Beyond their mouthwatering pies, they also offer a variety of wings, sides, and desserts to complete your meal. Whether you're ordering for a casual night in or planning an event with friends or colleagues, Papa John's has you covered with reliable service.
I tried placing an online order twice & the webpage listed “temporarily unavailable”. I tried calling in to the store to place an order & whomever answered the phone was completely unpleasant. She essentially asked me why I was calling in the first place when there are online options. I explained the website wasn’t working when I tried & I gave it 2 chances. She was VERY put out that I called. Told me “If we’re not busy I would take your order but we are busy. Have you called the call center?” I was confused as hell. I explained AGAIN the website wasn’t working and the number I called was the direct stores number. I ended up hanging up bc of how rude she was. Will NOT be ordering here ever again. I don’t even like the pizza, I was getting it for my work colleagues over at a mine site. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere. :) Just be aware to anyone who actually has to call in for an order. Definitely wouldn’t want them even touching my food at this point with that kind of bad attitude.
Kristen K — Google review
Placed an order online, walked in to pick it up, and was completely ignored. One employee was walking around with ear buds in so he couldn't even hear me trying to get his attention. Another employee looked and me twice and never acknowledged me. I literally had to call the store and let the phone ring an unreasonable number of times before getting an answer...just to tell them I was standing there. Completely ridiculous! The excuse is that the bell on the door is broken. Seems this would be more of a reason to be on the lookout. Had them cancel my order and took my business elsewhere.
Andrea M — Google review
Let’s not confuse papa John’s for actual pizza—it just isn’t. Definitive drop in quality, value and responsiveness from this place. I’ll try back in another year, so far I haven’t missed anything.

I live less than 7 min away and consistently get my pizza cold. Employees ruining franchise name.shouldnt take an hour and a half to get my pizza.also i don't want door dash delivery I called Pappas not them.worst service ever...this manger needs to be fired she was rude gave a bunch of excuses.if you guys can't offer a quality service say so..will never order from here again...

Absolutely worthless staff at night. Went in for an online order and it was ready anywhere near the time given. Then I stand in the store waiting for someone to give me my order while they just walk around and ignore customers. UPDATE: Got home to find the pizza was very undercooked, to the point that the cheese in the middle wasnt even melted

Long time customer and probably Last time. (Since this isn't the 1st issue in the last couple months) Ordered last night (12/16) early online for later delivery - 2 1/2 hrs after at 6pm. Got text @6:05 pm it was on its way. By 6:30pm, nothing. Called and spoke to a gentleman that said it didn't matter we ordered early. They didn't get the order till 5:30. Then said it didn't matter we received a text at 6:05. The order didn't really leave but 20 minutes ago. We said it would be cold. Finally he just spouted out he'd refund our meal. We didn't Want a refund. We wanted our dinner delivered on time and hot. No apology. Extremely Rude and unpleasant. Practically yelling at us. Our order arrived about 10 minutes later. Food was cold. Picture of chicken wings temp.

Pathetic customer service! An hour late with my order... The owner of this franchise should hire more competent people. I'm not ordering from these clowns again. Like the other review mentions, terrible customer service! Don't order here and save yourself time and money and go to another place. It's not worth the money or the waiting time

Casino
Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in Sahuarita is a popular destination offering a wide range of entertainment options. The casino features plenty of gaming choices, an on-site hotel, various dining outlets, and nightly entertainment. It's open 24/7 and boasts a 2,000-seat concert venue, sports bar, restaurant, and the well-loved Diamond Buffet. This location is part of the Tohono Oodham Gaming Enterprise with three sites in Southern Arizona.
The exterior of this place is beautiful. Inside is well maintained like their other properties. Staff is very friendly gives the small town feel. Dealers are energetic and root for you to win. I came in on a Sunday morning older folks enjoying their day. They have around a dozen tables and hundreds of slots. A couple of food spots to eat including a buffet. Didn’t chow down this visit but maybe I will on my return.
S J — Google review
Wow. While the atmosphere is lack, the Diamond Cafe had wonderful food. We had a cheeseburger and fries and a Club sandwich with fries. A free soda machine sat next to the Cafe and there was no sales tax! The condiment bar was well stocked. Both meals were large and delicious. We both left portions of the meal as we were chock full. For the money, this is a real go-to place.
Todd P — Google review
Excellent venue for concerts. Intimate, not too large, with easy and free parking. It would be a little easier if the box office for will call us at the venue, not the casino building, but oh well. Beer selection can be better. The sound quality and acoustics are great

Caught the Tiffany Haddish comedy show here with some friends . It was a full house . Pretty well organized , ushers walked Me directly to my seat . The venue for comedy show isn’t huge but we had a good time & would go back . Getting out of the parking lot afterwards was also surprisingly quick thanks to traffic controllers

Scotty McCreedy concert. Arena seating is not very steep, so visibility was a bit impairted. The sound was good. The parking lot was a bit challenging after the event, even after waiting 20 minutes before walking to our car.

Went for the Donna Summer's tribute with friends. The venue is great there really isn't a bad seat in the place. The concert was fun. Everyone had a great time.
Douglas S — Google review
Attended the Marshal Tucker Band concert on Sept. 27, 2025. I don't gamble but the bar in the casino was reasonably priced and comfortable with many screens and a variety of seating and free bottled water was provided. The food was delicious and arrived quickly to my table and the soft drinks were free. The restrooms were sparkling. The concert venue was large, modern, clean and comfortable with a great sound system and ushers to guide one to their seats. The Native Americans have a well oiled machine going there and it was a positive experience in every aspect.

Beautifully kept. Small children’s playground but soccer field was enormous. Unfortunately was looking for a doggy park and does not have one there. Other Sahuarita parks: Anamax was a place my golden enjoyed with some well behaved dogs and owners very pleasant and responsible about watching their dogs. But now they replaced the grass with about 4 layers of gravel. It’s hot for the dogs, it’s difficult for them to run in and let’s not mention the owners are at risk for falling or twisting their ankles. What a disgrace. It seems they just dumped tons of gravel and never spread it out to make it at least level. The smaller dog area has grass but unless you’re invited by whoever is already in there you’re not able to let them play. Despite my golden being the sweetest dog ever. Veterans park: BAD BAD BAD! Aggressive dogs which should not be allowed with owners not watching their dogs or just making excuses that their behavior is “how they play”. My golden was attacked and luckily I was just two feet away to rescue her. A Rottweiler attacked a sweet greyhound and did not survive!!! If I were any concerned owner about your dog playing safely DO NOT GO! They should be safe and having fun and not harassed by other dogs!

It's a great park to take the kids and have a great time, has parking, football and soccer fields with green grass, open to anyone, has benches and grill where you can cook what you want while taking a look to the kids playing in the playground right next to the grill and benches, without a doubt is a great place, it also has controlled restrooms and easy to find them

Fishing pond
Sahuarita Lake Park is a serene desert retreat offering various outdoor activities for both locals and visitors. The town-owned park features a man-made lake stocked with Rainbow Trout, making it a popular spot for fishing with the necessary license. Visitors can also enjoy kayaking and canoeing on the lake. The park boasts a paved pathway around the lake, providing picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and ample seating areas.
Wonderful place for a nice walk or just a lake side sit. Not too busy, but lots going on... wildlfishand people. There was a 5K going on and music could be heard all around the lake. We enjoyed that.
Vicki E — Google review
This is kind of a hidden gem in the middle of several subdivisions. You can walk with the family, run (exercise stations around the loop), fish, enjoy community activities, or relax in the grass. Everyone we encountered was cordial and respectful of each other's space. Check the community calendar, as planned events can alter the ambiance (not a negative).

A peaceful, lovely man-made lake in the middle of Sahuarita suburbia. A sidewalk winds around the entire lake with benches, picnic tables and chairs shades areas. The best part: the lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout, and other species! You need a fishing license to fish here, but the only lake to fish in for miles and miles. Kayak and canoes are allowed as well. Great area for a stroll with cool breeze in the midst of 110-degree summer!
Ryan B — Google review
Great place for rest and relaxation or a nice run, jogging, fishing, and they have a great swimming pool nearby.

Nestled in the heart of Sahuarita, Pick A Berry Yogurt embodies the essence of a charming Mom & Pop shop. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, including standout service from a young man named David, this delightful spot is perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings. Offering a variety of flavors—both classic and unique—as well as no sugar added options like vanilla and strawberry, there's something for everyone.
I liked the yogurt very much. They've got some "no sugar added" vanilla & strawberry as well as the other usual & unusual flavors. Friendly & helpful lady manning the shop. We needed a place like this in the area!
Keith E — Google review
Eating here was a so-so experience. Nothing particularly bad, the staff was nice, clean spaces, lots of flavors. Unfortunately none of the flavors were really what I was looking for. My wife had a similar experience, she liked it, but they just weren't the flavors we were looking for. Might return later after flavors have rotated. The sampling was a bit tedious because we had to ask for each one and the employee had to go in the back each time to get it, but I can understand why they do it. I could easily see people filling up on samples, then walking out.
Shawn R — Google review
Owner is the biggest cheapskate I have met. The "samples" they give are ridiculous. Staff is on your back overlooking youre every move as if your trying to steal their yogurt which makes it very uncomfortable to pick your flavors. The owner is grumpy, moody and aggressive therefore despite my love for yogurt I will avoid this shop from now on.
Julissa M — Google review
This a great definition of what it means to be a Mom & Pop shop in a small community. The prices are reasonable and the options are decent, yet humble. If the issue of a Sweet Tooth ever arises, pick a berry is a great place to satisfy.

Nestled in a shopping center, Pub 1922 is a charming vintage-inspired hangout that perfectly blends the casual vibe of a gastropub with an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails. This inviting spot offers a delightful menu filled with hearty dishes that are sure to satisfy any palate.
I went to Pub 1922 to meet an Internet blind date. I didn't get to try their food, or drink anything but Diet Coke, but we both liked Pub 1922. It's an upscale place with great service. They were showing the baseball playoffs on TV, but at a reasonable volume so we could hear each other speak. The date went well, and we plan to go there again... next time, for dinner.
Otto — Google review
Popped in the other day on a whim. Happened to be happy hour so there was a nice $2 discount on drinks. Place was quite busy but the service didn’t suffer from the server. First beer selection was out of stock so I ended up getting a draft. Came out quick, cold and fresh. Wife got a mixed drink and loved it. Just got a couple apps on this visit, best as well, the prices seemed a bit high for them, but the portions were generous so after seeing the sizes, the prices seemed more validated. Food came out after a bit, and was great. We got an order of Carne Asada fries, and a half order of chicken Nachos. Only issue I had here was the men’s room was in need of a cleaning badly. I’m not typically one to comment on this area but it was needed.
Blaze R — Google review
Great fish and chips! Not busy when we were there, Sunday afternoon before Superbowl. Decent draft beers too, and an all-day happy hour.

I ordered a Greek salad w/ chicken for pick up. Paid $24 and change and when I left and opened my salad it was upsetting. The big pieces of chicken a few crumbles of feta the dressing tasted more like Italian dressing than Greek. I’ve ordered that salad there many times and had never been disappointed like yesterday. Will never order it again.
Bella B — Google review
Let me first say that, the first time my wife and son went here for dine-in, it was an amazing experience. However, all it takes is one experience to ruin it all. This afternoon, my wife and 5-year-old entered and were sat super quick. The place didn’t look busy, especially with it being 1:30pm. When seated, the hostess just handed menus and walked off. No big deal. About 10 minutes go by, and nobody comes by to offer water or take that first drink or appetizer order. Looking towards the entrance, the hostess, some dude and another female, possibly the waitress, were all bs’n by the front door. 2 minutes later, a group of 6 comes in, is seated, and tended to immediately. We left, and let the young man at the door know that having us sit there and be ignored for over 15 minutes is a shitty experience. Being told, “oh that’s our bad” as a response made it that much worse. We will never return. Yeah their food was good the last time, and service was good, but again, I’m not gambling my time to see if my family will be served.
Justin ( — Google review
This is honestly hilarious. Was allegedly “carne asada fries”. Came out with cold, dry, overcooked, unseasoned ground beef over cold fries. And for $17 is a joke. Not only that but it too the entire time we were here for all the appetizers to come out. Not only that but we were charged $27 automatic tip since out party was over 6, but 2/8 didn’t even eat. This is why actual Sahuarita residents don’t come here🤣 The waitress was really sweet but definitely could have been more attentive.
Kaela H — Google review
I've never seen chicken sliced so thin. Bread and veg sandwich. Avocado was a bit too funky to eat.
Sherry M — Google review
I have always enjoyed this place. Until today. I had been craving the pulled pork sandwich with crispy onion straws. My Husband surprised me, & ordered it for my lunch today. It was a real let down. A pile of basically raw onions, not crispy at all. Plus. The pork was not very good..full of fat. He called, & had it replaced. They took my coleslaw. Did not replace it. We will not be getting food again. $20.00 for that mess ..no thanks.

Super cute park! Has dozens of animal statues around the trail. Perfect for photo opps. The play ground it’s self is covered, and had Ramada’s near to watch over children. Nothing spectacular. Largest complaint is that the bathroom is at the top of the trail and is not one anywhere else. So once you start the walk and your kid has to pee, might as well go home. Parking is also by the bathrooms so to get back to the card is a 10 to 15 min walk. Park is clean and well kept.

My family had a baby shower here. The atmosphere was perfect and the large grass area fit two different parties of bounce houses. Strongly recommend this park for the kiddos. The playground and the basketball court are really well taken Care of.

Beautiful parks, no place to park if you're hosting a birthday party for a child. It was a 23 minute walk from the club house to the area where party was being held. My husband is handicapped, so I had to drop him off on the street closest to the picnic area, leaving my car parked with hazard lights while I made sure he was able to navigate the thick grass and found the correct party. Someone called the cops on us just as I got him seated. I was barely had a chance to get a drink of water before they showed up. Took my car to the pool area (only parking) and made the long trek back. Ridiculous lack of planning. Beautiful, expensive homes. I would never buy there for this reason.

Great Place! The staff is very helpful & kind and the fresh Pecans are delicious! Plus they have just about anything you can imagine creating or cooking using pecans, from snacks to pies to chocolates to roasted pecans in 20+ flavors. Everything I have tried from this store has been Great! You pay a little more, but Its definitely worth the money especially with the Nice old fashion customer service. Very sad to learn that this gem of a place will be closing its doors for good at the end of 2021. Always a pleasant drive from Tucson down Nogales Highway & the ideal destination for pecan products of all kinds, including the best pecan pies I & everyone I know have ever tasted. Those who love a bit of heat may also want to stock up on the never-to-be-repeated Pecan Hot Sauce. This place will be truly missed!
Benjamin B — Google review
If you love pecans then there is no place better to get them than fresh from the farm. I am not in the area often enough let alone during their summer hours of 10-3 M-F. They also do ship most of their items so be sure to pick up a catalog. They will not the pre made pies but you can order the ingredients in a jar. While I usually get the Chocolate Pecan pie, I had to get the plain this time because they sell out fast. They are that good. I also pick up a few other pecan items as well. If you want help with portion control then get the mini pies. Because they are individually sealed they will last longer too.

Got to go do and see place in area! Reasonable priced pecans of any imaginable variety, quality too. Best tasting pecans I ever had. Bought a bunch to bring home for presents and they were big hit. Everyone agrees, best pecans ever. Glad they ship, but every time when in town, I am stopping by.

If you're on the hunt for a one-stop shop for all your sporting and outdoor needs, look no further than Big 5 Sporting Goods. This chain retailer offers an extensive selection of equipment, shoes, and apparel suitable for various activities. Nestled among other local favorites like Twist and Shout 50s Diner and Sally Beauty, it’s conveniently located near popular shopping spots such as Walmart Supercenter and Bealls Outlet.
It's a small store and hard to spot, but it's a hidden gem. The people are incredibly nice and there are great deals, so check this place out.

I spend lots of money in this store regularly... Maybe not anymore 😡. Employees should be more attentative and nicer..... WOW 😳

They don't have a very big selection but it's still nice to have a sporting goods store in the area.

Glenn at Green Valley Big 5 was rude and unprofessional. I made a purchase on a Wednesday, asked for receipt young man at register said I didn’t need it. I returned that Sunday tags attached but no receipt. Was told only store credit, I purchased for $24.99 was given a credit for $17.99. I was told only credit at sales price.

Good prices on sporting clothes(nice quality) very reasonably priced. Experienced woman in sales was helpful. Limited brands for hiking shoes. I wasn’t happy with the selection but I may go back for some good quality shorts. I’d try it out!

I’ve refrained from leaving a review for the longest but after today 2/17/24 I feel I’m obligated to do so. Went to checkout and received the most horrendous attitude from the cashier named Pat. I mentioned having a 10% off coupon for her to scan and she was so bothered by it. I provided her the barcode AND a code to punch in but she refused to do so until I told her what the coupon was for even though she was shown the full coupon on my phone. She didn’t care to read, just said she’s not punching in a discount until I explain to her the coupon I had. Pat needs a serious attitude adjustment or maybe she shouldn’t be working in customer service

CPAC is a local treasure! Wonderful performances offered at very reasonable prices are value added to our community. The ticketing process is quick and easy, very well organized, and their version of will call works so well. I've gone to plays, lectures and music performances, all well done!

3+1/2 stars. We went for a concert. They blocked off quite a few seats to maintain social distancing. Not sure why. We all have our vaccinations. The seating is kind of like bleachers but with individual seats. There is no concession, not even a vending machine. I would go again.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a delightful casual counter-serve chain that invites you to create your own sandwiches and salads, catering especially to those who prioritize health-conscious choices. If you're in the mood for something classic, their Oven-Roasted Turkey sandwich is a must-try—thinly sliced and bursting with flavor, it’s made just the way you like it. You can customize it with fresh veggies and melted American cheese on hearty multigrain bread.
The employee (men) whose is working today 09/25/25 at 3:30 pm is very professional and kind, extremely awesome his attitude and attention

Ordered online for take out. Very disappointed in the effort. Sandwich barely had any veggies or meat. Definitely not like the image (see images) and next time I'll drive further to Jersey Mike's
Gilbert G — Google review
The young guy when we walked in was nice and that was last and only good thing. The other 2 people that made our sandwiches had an attitude and were rude. If you hate your job that much find another one. Or at least fake smile or something. When I asked for extra olives she only put maybe 6 and when I asked for more she put 2 more. There was an older couple in there and they said they weren't treated well either.
Talisa M — Google review
Order online 3 sandwiches. They made each sandwich wrong. Which the sandwiches were nothing complicated. I would have called and went back but unfortunately with a young baby that was not an option. Very disappointed and so were my children. Definitely don’t recommend going here specifically when the order is literally written down for them.

Two Stars: Because I Didn't Die I'm granting this franchise two stars for one simple, life-affirming reason: I paid $17 for this “sub”standard culinary experience, and I did not, in fact, contract anything lethal. That’s a miracle, and miracles deserve a star. The environment felt less like a sandwich shop and more like a post-apocalyptic deli where the staff were the last two survivors. There was one person trying to handle a five-person line while moving at the speed of slow-motion continental drift, and another leaning against a soda machine, radiating the quiet despair of someone who just lost the lottery and was down to her last Lucky Strike—or American Spirit, probably a lone Pall Malls based on the look of broken hope. Poor attitude is an understatement; this was existential exhaustion. As for the uncleanliness, the floor had the tacky, sticky texture of a forgotten movie theater carpet (after Pee-wee Herman, or just pee, maybe the wee?) and the "fresh" lettuce looked like it lost the fight against a dehumidifier three days ago. But the real insult was the price. SEVENTEEN DOLLARS. For a sandwich that actively tasted like regret and microwaved sadness. When I saw the final total, the ghost of Gordon Ramsay materialized next to me, grabbed my face, and whispered with chilling intensity, “What are you?! An idiot sandwich!” He was right. I am an idiot sandwich for paying this. If you’re seeking confirmation of your worst consumer choices, this is the place. Otherwise, walk next door and buy a lottery ticket, because surviving this visit without food poisoning or bankruptcy is luck enough.
K B — Google review
It was disgusting. I only come here when there is a sale or BOGO deal. The bread was hard. I didn’t get extra meat like I paid for. I’ve tried a few times. From now on I’ll be going to Jersey Mikes. Their prices are the same NOT on sale! You wonder why you are going bankrupt? I think I know why
Lauri J — Google review
Placed an online order for 2 subs One was correct the other was not Ordered extra tomato & pickle and that didn't happen. That sub looked so thin and it should've been thicker than the other one due to extra veggies. The bread was hard tasted day old. Won't go back to this one.
Kassandra L — Google review
Placed an order online to pick up at the Rancho location. Already frustrating since they had limited bread choices and no olives available. Once I arrived at the location, no one made an appearance. They were in the back talking loudly. Grabbed my sandwiches on the shelf and left. I should have checked them. All four sandwich breads were hard as if they were left out all day. My husband’s sandwich (tuna) was completely wrong. And mine (BLT) was completely covered in mayo. Will never order from here again.

If you're on the hunt for an exceptional New Mexican culinary adventure, look no further than Goyitas in Green Valley. This gem has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, offering mouthwatering dishes at fantastic prices. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel the warmth of their hospitality and know you're in for a treat. Start your meal with their famous sampler of homemade chile sauces—it's an absolute must-try!
An Outstanding New Mexican Culinary Experience! Possibly the best New Mexican Restaurant in Arizona, from Cottonwood to Tubac, and at really good prices. I’m torn about writing this review, as I fully expect it to get even more busy and be harder to get seated. As you can see I’m not local here. I have no affiliation - they deserve even more success! From the moment we sat down at Goyita’s, we knew we were in for something special. We started with the sampler of their homemade chile sauces—an absolute must! The heat and depth of flavor in each one was incredibly vibrant and true to authentic Hatch chile roots. If you’re a fan of green chile, be prepared to fall in love. For our entrées, I went with the green enchiladas, smothered in their house-made New Mexican green chile calabacitas (a delightful and hearty blend—spelling might escape me, but the taste sure didn’t). Topped with an over-easy egg, it was savory perfection with just the right level of kick. My wife opted for the red cheese enchilada plate, also with an over-easy egg, and the richness of the red chile sauce made it a standout. Both plates came with delicious rice and creamy refried beans, rounding out the meal beautifully. Our server, Cat, was exemplar; her service warm, the flavors bold and true, and the entire atmosphere felt like a home-cooked meal made with love and fire. You can absolutely tell Goya’s spirit lives in the kitchen. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine New Mexican cuisine with soul and flavorful heat! 🌶️🔥 One thing I just discovered, they are opening for breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 7am to 11am. You heard it here first! Feel free to ask for grandma who’s likely cooking in the back. A NM transplant, she is both personable and incredibly helpful with menu questions and background.

We're not sure how Goyitas is New Mexican other than adding some green chile to some stuff. It's pretty Mexican, and mediocre at that. Guacamole was basically mashed avocado with some onion and garlic powder (think Costco prepacked style). Shredded beef enchiladas with green sauce (the sauce with beef in it) were decent, with real meat, but overpowering flavor was salt. Rice was fine, beans the same. Flautas with shredded beef were a little better. The red sauces are really spicy. The green sauce with no meat is flavorless. Salsa with chips was not great. Fried ice cream was decent. Sopaipillas were some of the worst we have had. Thank goodness the margaritas were good! Phew. Plenty of parking. Our server was very friendly. Even so, not planning on a return trip.
Alexandra J — Google review
Lived in Albuquerque for 11 years and really came to love NM cuisine. Usually "New Mexican" means NEW Mexican, so it's a disappointment. When we came to Sahuarita to visit and found out that there was a NEW New Mexican restaurant, we were thrilled. Although the reviews were mixed and troubling, we approached our visit to Goyitas with the understanding that this was a new restaurant and may have some kinks to work out, but our love of the cuisine trumped the concerns. It was much worse than we could have ever anticipated. It was lunch time (12:30) on a Friday. As we approached the door, there were taped up signs saying 'wait to be seated.' When we entered, there was no hostess/greeter or any indication that there was a place to check in. There is a bar along the left wall that was unfinished, apparently for the lack of liquor license. That was no problem for us, just an observation. The restaurant was pretty big, busy and the tables were spaced very well apart. Three workers were rushing around between tables, and a young man saw us, raised his finger to acknowledge us, as if to say, "just one moment" and then went on about his business. There was one other group waiting, a group of five. After about 15 minutes with no further interaction with anyone, he came and sat them, then eventually sat us as well. And then we waited again for at least 10 minutes before a server took our drink order and brought really, really overcooked, tasteless, unsalted chips and some runny, non-descript salsa. We were a party of three -- one ordered a combo with tacos and enchiladas, one ordered chicken-stuffed sopapillas and I ordered chile rellenos smothered with red chile. The server advised that the red chile sauce was really hot. At least 20 minutes later, the server came back and told us they were out of chile rellenos. I got a menu and ordered pork in red chile sauce. She came back soon after and said they were also out of pork. So I ordered chicken enchiladas smothered in red chile. When our food was delivered, the stuffed sopapillas were fresh and crispy but the dish itself was extremely disappointing: dry shredded chicken, iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. I've had stuffed sopapillas hundreds of times and it's always smothered with red or green chile, eaten with a knife and fork. These resembled pita pockets, not a hint of the seasonings that make New Mexican cuisine so special. The taco plate was good. The red chile really was hot (but I loved it!). We ordered sopapillas (they come 3 to an order) for dessert. They were HUGE, crispy and hot. There is so much potential for this place and I hope the owners are able to scramble to get it together quickly so that the restaurant is successful. I wanted to like it so badly--I want to be able to go again on my next visit to the area, but my review is based on this visit. I will happily update it if things turn around.

Hello! Again, another first time eating here.. I do want to start off by apologizing. I got to carried away with photos on the menu, and I forgot to take pictures of the food.. haha.. sorry.. but.. let's get started. So, the first time eating here went with my husband and my roommate. Let me start with the green and red chili sauces. They are pretty good if you like a bit of kick, do red.. but if you like more flavor, do Green.. I personally prefer flavor over kick, but do love me some kick if it also had great flavor.. I had the enchiladas plate shredded beef, and it wasn't bad.. the beans here were pretty tasty giving them that.. but the rice for me.. ahh, it was not quite there.. have yet to find a place that has both items to par but one day.. The service was great. Everyone was polite and friendly... I love the way they also remodeled the place great ideas put into it and nice color choices and decor! They even look like they have a private room for bigger parties which is nice and the Bathrooms were clean and decently sized as well, which is a huge plus for me, and the prices were as about as high as any other place for the 3 of us got out around 50-65 bucks give or take. The chips and salsa.. honestly.. I'm unsure if you all are like myself. I can really enjoy myself with great chips and salsa.. unsure what they use for their chips not to impressed by it and the salsa wish they had a more spicier options and wish it had more flavor.. But all in all, it's not too bad. I would say try it out.. and if I were to recommend something is that certain items can be a little dry, I would recommend adding that little somethering on the sauces to help make it a bit more appealing when you eat! 😀

We were last night for dinner. We were greeted by Toby who was very friendly. Erin was our wait person. She was nice, knew the menu, brought our food and checked with us while we ate. The food was delicious. This restaurant has changed from when it first opened. The positive reviews are deserved. We will return

Clean, pleasant atmosphere in which to have a meal or watch a game, but wasn't a fan of their New Mexican sauces. Carnitas taco was the best tasting of the three I ordered on taco Tuesday (beef & chicken we're the others). Food took a long time to come out to our group.

Yesterday, I visited Goyitas in Green Valley for breakfast. It's one of my favorite lunch spots but my first visit for breakfast. It won't be my last. For 4 years, since moving to Arizona, I worked my way through a long list of restaurants advertising "homemade" chicken fried steak. I FOUND it. At Goyitas, it's handed breaded, perfectly seasoned, tender steak, crispy. Just what it should be. With gravy, hashbrowns, and two perfectly cooked eggs. Ahhhhhh.

I've been Los Agaves enough times to write that it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Green Valley area. Their food is always tasty, and their service and atmosphere are consistently excellent. What I really like are their various specials on certain days—like tacos on Tuesday and enchiladas on Fridays, etc. It really makes it worth it to try out the different items on their menu.

I liked the atmosphere and food. I ordered the chimichanga enchilada style with a side of guacamole and sour cream. The red sauce was good. The atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon is chill. It seems like many of the neighborhood residents come to hang out drink, watch TV, and eat. There was only person who was tending the bar and taking orders. He did an awesome job and was very friendly.

Great Mexican food in the area, we all loved our food, and drinks! The staff was very nice and attentive. He even helped us figure out how to make a dish gluten free... And it was delicious! I had the shrimp enchiladas with the green sauce instead of the red sauce which has flour, so happy we caught this so I didn't get sick 😅 I have to mention the great Cadillac margaritas, great taste and big portions made us very happy. We were visiting and this is our local friend's favorite place, we can see why.

Was a little nervous when I saw ketchup on the table instead of hot sauce, but the food was pretty good, and they have hot sauce and hot salsa available. You just have to ask. We had 2 como plated and 2 fish taco plates. Everyone was happy with their meals.

Good – The food was very tasty. In fact, it was excellent. The wait staff was very nice, albeit slow. Not so Good – Prices are top of the range for comparative restaurants, but when the small portions are considered – it lacks value. Bad – I’m not going to belabor this, as we have no intention of ever going back to this restaurant – even though it’s local. We had reservations, but when we arrived we were immediately informed by the hostess that there was going to be a fifteen minute wait. When we queried why – there was an immediate attitude with no reasonable explanation. As it turned out, the hostess was able to seat us a bit sooner – but not without a snide remark about the “short wait”. Two in our party ordered lemon drop martinis. When the bar staff brought them to the table – the limited pour was striking. When asked about the scant fill, the server said that was the most they were allowed to serve by law. Having never heard that before, we looked it up. That was a lie. There is no such limitation in Arizona. The décor is dated and the establishment overall is begging for capital improvement. As I said at the onset – the meal was good, but dining is a social experience, and in this regard – the experience was unacceptable

We visited for the first time yesterday. Overall it was a great experience! A local hidden gem with a romantic atmosphere and pretty good food overall. A little pricey but understandably so for the service and food. The food was pretty good for the area- we were especially impressed with the bread, tomato basil soup, the dessert, and the cappuccinos. The Alfredo sauce was also quite good. We were not a huge fan of the shrimp, but I suppose I shouldn’t expect much better when we’re in landlocked AZ. Will visit again!

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our date here. Couldn’t get enough of the small breads they brought out as an appetizer along with balsamic vinegar. We ordered the rosé penne pasta to share, and then dessert - chocolate cake and cheesecake! Afterwards the waiter obliged our request for a picture of us by one of their artwork pieces.

Had no idea it was gonna be so amazing. Food was amazing and so was the service. Came for some regular late night dinner and were met with greatness. Cost less than olive garden for 30x the quality??? We got 2 huge entrees and dessert: wasnt even 100 (like how it is at olive garden) so we gave a big tip cuz they deserve it! Didn't bring ID so I couldn't get the limoncello to have after my meal like I've always wanted to do but I will be doing that here soon. Forgot to mention their olive oil was high! quality!!! Bread was great too. The cheesecake was great, but don't be expecting new york style. But man it was a delicious and perfect end to the meal with a chilled plate and delicious blueberries on top. They can expect to see us as regulars (for the little we go out) Truly a gem.

Farmers Markets
Heirloom Farmers Market in Green Valley is a year-round market located just off I-19, a few miles from Sahuarita. It's known as the largest and oldest market in southern Arizona, open every Wednesday. The market offers a wide variety of products including produce, food, arts and crafts. With over 100 vendors, visitors can find items like wild Arizona clover honey, original oil paintings, turquoise earrings and more.
Do it in the summer too! Get there early to enjoy amazing wares, artisans, food, and everything in between! In the coming weeks, I'll be posting more reviews on the vendors out here. So follow me for more. The summers are hot, but the people are super cool! I know, corney, right? But seriously, there's plenty of shade and super friendly, helpful people!

Have been attending this farmers market for over a decade and recently I can say its really impressed! Many stalls with loads of variety and delicious food. Kid friendly, dog friendly, and wheelchair accessible. Even despite the crowds my grandmother who uses a walker was able to maneuver with relative ease.

My sister and I drove down from Tucson for this market. It was very nice. There were lots of art-type booths with a wide variety of hand made items. We will be returning! It is open every Wednesday from 9-1, I believe.

this is a fairly large market, however it is all the same people, almost all commercial travelers to all the local markets, all hawking touristy purchases, jewelry, bad art, a ton of sweets and candy. Very little homegrown or fresh produce, or any real items, or truly original things, its not worth going more than once to get a breeze through and wish for a real farmers market.

I went to the "Things to Love" booth. She does amazing work and sells functional fabric items, such as microwave bowls, crossbody wallets, crossbody purses, baby and adult bibs, water bottle carriers, and shirt aprons.

I am a vendor at this market (Mugwumpers Mugs) and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys browsing a large variety of artists and fares. Coffee, produce, food, are all there to enjoy. The market runs from 9:00 to 1:00 every Wednesday and offers over 100 vendors. The drive from Tucson is pleasant, too. Bring your friends, your dog, and yourselves and enjoy a fun morning at the Green Valley Farmers Market at the Green Valley Village at Esperanza and I-19.

Quail Creek-Veterans Municipal Park - Town of Sahuarita

4.6
(160)
Park
Quail Creek-Veterans Municipal Park, located just south of Sahuarita city center, offers a variety of amenities for both locals and visitors. The park features three ramadas available for reservation, multi-purpose fields, pickleball courts, a dog park, and a playground. Additionally, it boasts beautiful walking trails and secluded picnic areas for those seeking some private time in nature.
This is a probably the best park in the Sajuarita area. There is a permanent corn whole setup with a synthetic grass playing area, a great climbing and sliding play ground with many cool obstacles. There is also an all sand beach style volley ball court, a basketball court, pickle ball and tennis courts and a dual sided dog park. The dog park is split into two sides for large and small dog separation. The park is always in pristine condition and the play area is covered for all day play temperatures.

Great park. Two dog parks (big and small) with shaded areas, benches, grass, and friendly dogs and owners. Pickle ball courts, ball fields, picnic areas, outdoor lighting, bathrooms, plenty of parking, great location. Clean park, pride shows. Great place to visit, have a picnic, stay awhile.

Enjoyed the car show at the park. Plenty of parking at a well organized event. The park is well maintained and a wonderful community venue.

Best park in our area hands down! Has a little of everything. Only wish there was a restroom closer towards the back near the kids playground set. Also love the newly added Arizona flag and Veteran Memorial! Awesome display and proud it's in our neighborhood!

Attended the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA) event at this park. This is a really nice small part located south of Rancho Sahuarita. It looked like they were playing a movie after dark in a neighboring ball field.

Nice park for youth soccer games, parking can be a challenge.

Went to find a nice spot for our dog to run. The dog park was busy on the big dog side, which we noticed, all the grass had been removed. The 30lb or less side had patchy grass that apparently had not been seeded this spring. I was told the chairs were being removed slowly. Sadly, this park was very nice, I was told until last year. Now it's a sad place where socializing is good but not a true dog park unless your dog likes even more rocks and sand.

My first visit to Anamax Dog Park was a great experience. The facilities were top-notch, providing both humans and dogs with water and an ample supply of dog bowls. The park is divided into two areas, one for small dogs and another for larger, more active ones. Additionally, the park offers free Wi-Fi and shaded seating areas for visitors to enjoy. The well-maintained grassy area is surrounded by a rock perimeter, adding to the overall appeal of the park.
great park they have a children's play ground up to date they are currently remodeling butnj..sure it's going to be even better the base ball fields are awesome the snack bar is very good they have team specials ,the hot dogs don't even fit in the bun and they have kids going around asking if you would like anything from the snack bar the lights for the baseball field are bright just a good atmosphere all around.
Robert S — Google review
They just "Re-seeded" the large dog side of the park only. 6 inches deep!! Very unsafe for dogs and owners trying to play ball or any fetching. Plus, as you can see in photos, the dogs prefer the outer ring off the pee gravel. Then, loose gravel all over sidewalk, making it a unsaplace to walk. Terrible idea!!!!
John D — Google review
As many have noted, the small dog side of the dog park has grass while the bigger dogs only get pea gravel. Fortunately, there were people with larger dogs on the grassy side and they were very willing to leave if anybody came with smaller dogs and did not want the larger dogs there. While I was there the people and the dogs all got along great no matter what size! To get closest to the dog park, stay on the main road and drive past the main recreation building on your right (east) until you see a sign for the north entrance. The street you turn off on is Cartegena. You will then see a sign on your right for the dog park, baseball fields and splash pads.

My first time at a dog park. To me, the facilities were excellent. Water for both humans and dogs, plenty of dog bowls. There are two areas, one for small dogs and one for large active dogs. There is free Wi-Fi here and a place to sit in the shade. The grass is well kept and there's a rock perimeter around the main grassy area. There's a short hose by the drinking fountain, which was nice because I could spray my dog down to cool her off. I was able to spend a little time here by myself. I wasn't sure how my yellow lab would do with other dogs. Several other people showed up and she did great with them. Everyone was nice and I had a great conversations.

First time here and this is a beautiful dog park! Looking forward to visiting here with our new puppy. Sahuarita is such a beautiful community. We are your neighbors in Green Valley.
John M — Google review
I had heard good things and since the usual haunt was closed we took the pups there to play. Unfortunately, it seems that they just decided to switch to gravel on the large dog side and my dogs were not fans. They just walked around the edge on the concrete for the most part. Definitely a bummer. We won't be going back. Grass is nice but difficult to keep up here. My dogs are perfectly happy with dirt or sand, though obviously the pea gravel is uncomfortable for them 😔.

McDonald's, the iconic fast-food chain celebrated for its delicious burgers and crispy fries, continues to impress with its commitment to customer service. A recent visit highlighted the exceptional experience provided by Krystal at store #31779. Her kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression, ensuring that orders were prepared accurately and served with a smile. It's always refreshing to encounter such positivity in a bustling environment!
I would like to share my positive experience with Krystal from McDonald's store #31779. She offered truly exceptional service, demonstrating kindness and attentiveness. My order was prepared accurately, and the food was good, which is always appreciated. It is refreshing to interact with such a positive and friendly employee. Krystal certainly deserves recognition for her efforts.

The men's restrooms are either very disgusting or unusable, they are always dirty and smell bad. The employees have no idea what quality service is, and what's worse, their supervisors, like the two blondes and the two Latinas in blue shirts, always have a bad attitude.

McDonald's has the best iced tea of any national fast food chain. This location has always provided friendly and fast service without additional problems. No botched ordering issues unlike the Continental store that always seems to have endless problems.

I hate giving bad reviews but tired of getting ripped off here. I know it's my fault for not checking every time if the order is right. It happens almost every time I have ordered food here from the drive through. The last two times my wife got all the way home on Duval Rd. to find the order was missing items. Yes we got a refund but they need to do better.

Hair was in one of the medium fries from Big Mac pack I felt so bad when my husband took some fries out it in his mouth in mid chew he felt something dangle from his mouth he started pulling all the fries came out with this long piece of brown hair 🤢 we asked for light Mac sauce it was drenched in sauce as well in oil absolutely disgusting disgusted and won’t be returning what a waste of $21

Just went to this location. Seems like every time the workers attitudes get worst. No interpersonal skills at all. At the window the girl said the order back to me half a**, "Big Mac meal, Quarter pounder and the rest" 🤔 so I finished my order off for her. We received our order and, of course, made the mistake of checking it at home. Fries filled halfway, bottom of the fry container not folded, so they looked full, no salt on the fries. 10 piece nugget missing a nugget. No receipt was given, I had to ask for one. Don't work nights if you cannot handle it. There were 2 other cars besides me. Paid close to $50. Do better. It's frustrating as heck. Update: it got worse, the Quarter pounder was raw, shown in image. 🤦🏽‍♀️
Jasmin J — Google review
30 min wait just to take my order!! I was stuck in line and had no choice but wait. I think that's ridiculous. I could have made it to Tucson, ordered and ate by the time I even got to the second window. The crew needs to step it up!!! Come on management.
1Hunter E — Google review
I should know better by now because every single time they get the order wrong. After you order, they make you pull over to the site and wait 5-10 minutes. Last time I was in a rush, and they forgot my ketchup and sauce. Seriously, who orders nuggets without sauce and fries without ketchup.

Taco Bell is a popular fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. While it has long been a go-to spot for quick bites, some patrons have noted that the experience has changed over time. The introduction of self-order kiosks can slow down the ordering process as customers navigate through various options and input their information. Although the food remains decent, many feel it doesn't quite match up to its former glory.
Used to be much better when a person quickly took your order. Now trying to use the self order kiosk, it is slow filling everything in, email, etc and food is okay but not great.
Stephen P — Google review
My crunch wrap Supreme was basically meatless. I had limp lettuce with sour cream and a corn tortilla pretty much. Pitiful portions. Will not go back.
Mandy C — Google review
I order here often but I am getting tired of how bad the food is consistently. Any other taco bell is better than this location. At this location, My taco shell is stale and never crispy. You either get too much meat or not enough meat. The food is not warm. You can tell they premake the food and let it sit out for hours before giving it to you. The lost can go on and on. The management of this place is terrible. The owner needs to eat a taco at this location and then go in town to a taco bell. At that moment you will truly see how bad his location is. Please check your food and check your staff before someone gets sick. This way of business may be fine now but as Sahuarita grows and more companies come in. Y'all will be out of business quick.
Devion G — Google review
If you really want to be neglected, this is the place to be. I stood at the counter for almost 5 minutes without any service. Plenty of people working... Just not really caring I guess. One star for service because I was unable to eat
Sean B — Google review
Rude customer service. Ordered a grande nachos and received a container filled with chips having a very small portion of meat and cheese. Also ordered a crunch wrap that is incredibly flat and flimsy. It’s very frustrating and feels like a waste of money. I won’t return to this location. Staffed with teenage kids who don’t care about service or quality of other peoples food.
Ashley M — Google review
I am not the type to complain, but when I walked in and ordered my food on the kiosk because there was no one to be seen, card reader not working then i asked for customer service and was completely ignored by all the workers that were busy on their cellphone. So I walked out without my food and thought Who is the irresponsible manager that allows this??
Julian S — Google review
Ordered a crunch wrap supreme, it came with no meat inside 🤦🏻‍♀️ then I ordered it again a few weeks later, added steak this time and it only had a few pieces of steak. They seem greedy with their meats.
Alaina T — Google review
Used my card for a purchase they charged me again 30 minutes after I was gone for the same amount and 3 days later again the exact amount I don’t know what’s going on but my card information doesn’t feel safe at this location I called the first day and their response was it’s your bank So unhelpful cash only at this location from now on

Anza Trail Park offers a pleasant 4.5-mile trail along the Santa Cruz River, featuring canopied trees and grasslands with several river crossings. The park boasts brass animal sculptures and typical amenities like playgrounds, pavilions, basketball courts, and a pool. It also houses a veterans memorial and is part of an amazing community with various trails, stocked lake for trout fishing, community center with pools and gym facilities.
2 softball fields, 1 football/soccer field, a playground, 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts a paved walking path and 3 ramadas with grills nake this a great place for family fun. Dogs are not allowed.

Fun to see the brass animal sculptures, but other than that, you would just come back for the typical playground, pavilion, b-ball courts and pool. Veterans memorial was added in about 2017, so I'm not sure if the park is technically open to the public or not, but the pool is access restricted to HOA residents.

Dog park
Bark Park, located in Rancho Sahuarita, offers a pleasant and clean environment for both dogs and their owners. The park features well-kept green grass, doggy exercise equipment, and friendly people. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the lack of close parking. Despite this issue, the park is beautifully landscaped and maintained compared to other parks in Tucson. With its amenities and serene atmosphere, Bark Park provides an enjoyable space for families to spend quality time with their furry companions.
Sweet & quiet (early in the morning) “clean” compared to some other dog parks, but it would be even nicer if some individuals had a little more love and care for the park and actually picked up their furry ones waste they chose to leave behind. The smell grows throughout the day as it gets hotter, and it makes it unbearable to even sit on the bench to watch your dog play.

It's a popular fishing spot with 242 shade-giving trees. The park hosts various activities like concerts and food truck roundabouts. Although swimming is not allowed, the scenic walking trail around the lake offers beautiful views. Additionally, the area features a waterpark overlooking the lake and attractive housing communities.
Sailed my radio-controlled sailboat here on a sunny windy day, and had a pleasant walk around the lovely lake with lots of trees. Easily the most underrated area of Sahuarita, this little walk can be finished in an easy five minutes and provides little bits of information about the local fauna. Restaurant
TITo'S pizza & wings + bar is a newly improved spot in Sahuarita that offers a variety of delicious food options. Customers have raved about the mouthwatering chicken wings, fries, fried zucchini, and mozzarella sticks. The Hawaiian and cheese pizza is described as nothing short of magical. One visitor even drove from the north side of Tucson just for Tito's Locos Fries, emphasizing that it was worth the trip.
Good pizza, pasta, and prices. Glad there's a new spot in Sahuarita that's not fast food.
Stephen M — Google review
Won some free food when we went yesterday. They gave us chicken wings, some DELICIOUS fries, some kind of fried zucchini, and mozzarella sticks. Now I'm not usually one for zucchini or mozzarella sticks, but I'll eat them again in a heartbeat. Once we finished off our free food, we got our pizza. We ordered half Hawaiian and half cheese...And I have NEVER had pizza like that in my life. It was a good that a mere 12 inch got me so full I was actually nodding off at the restaurant. It's like he baked magic into the pizza. His pizza tastes just as good as ANY major chain, but is even better because it's healthy. I could taste just how fresh that pizza was. DEFINITELY going back as soon as I can. And I'm also going to introduce as many of my family as I can. The ONE drawback was the wait time, but it's understandable as the literally made my pizza from scratch. And 30 minutes for a pizza that good? Totally worth the wait time. I'm not going to be satisfied until I've tried their entire menu.
Brandon B — Google review
Drove out here all the from the north side of Tucson for their Tito's Locos Fries. Its definitely worth the drive. They were amazingly delicious and the rest of the menu looks appetizing. Always great customer service, our server Carol is very good and memorized our entire order. This place was recently put under new management and has had great improvements. Definetely recommend a visit and to try it out for yourselves. Great atmosphere and staff. Will be coming back.

First impression says alot. Front of the house staff were amazing. Great customer service. Needed to speak with the manager who seemed to be to busy for us. Found inconsistencies on how the food is prepared and presented from one day to the next. On another note: Pizza and wings are very good. Will go back to try other items on the menu. Must give Tito's a second chance. Overall, pretty pleased with the cost and food variety offered.

Update 11-18-19 I hate to do this but.... We had not been to Titos in a few months. I am updating my original review. The staff were not very friendly and the service was slow. They have changed chefs or recipes because the food is no where nearly as good as it was. Sorry to say we probably won't be back. OLD REVIEW: Friendly staff. Good food at affordable prices. My favorite - there soups. We had there pizza tonight and it was good. House Chianti is very drinkable. Give them a try. On your way home, to tired to cook. Call in a to go order.

For being our first visit, I would say I would go back just to see if they can improve by one more star. The food was pretty good, but the service left us wanting a little more attention. The restaurant was not very busy, yet there were two servers. It took us prompting to get refills and the check at the end of the meal. We were not in a hurry; however, we felt like we were forgotten at times. Again, the food was really good and warrants complementary service. If this one aspect can be improved, the restaurant may have a chance to stick around.
Armando I — Google review
This is a new place and they're still getting their act together. Hopefully they will improve. The food was good, prices are good, and the portions are not overly huge - which is a plus. Service is very disorganized. Our order was taken right away and food came in a reasonable time. After that it took forever to get our server back to the table. We eventually ordered desert, and our server just disappeared (went home ?). After waiting a loooong time, we gave up on desert and asked for the check, which was a real chore since no one else was "assigned" to our table. We'll give them the benefit of the doubt - and another chance - because we see a lot of potential here - but if the service doesn't improve, we would not be back.

Good food. Unfortunately, their customer service sucks! I walked in and ordered 3 meals to go and I was told it would take 15 minutes so I decided to go get drinks. I go back 20 minutes later and the food was still not ready. (This has happened before so I was giving them another chance). As I am waiting, a white lady comes in and places a to go order. She is sat down at a nearby table and offered some water while waiting but, I don't know, maybe me being Latina I wasn't offered ANYTHING. So now that I have had enough unpleasant experiences at this place, I am not going back. They take too long than what they estimate and they have poor service on the phone and in person.

Hot and ready food! On our way up from Hermosillo, we had to get Panda! Nice and courteous team members, food was tasty! Clean restroom. Safe.

Small portions. Ordered a family meal two of our containers well underfilled maybe 3/4 full if that. Maybe because I used a $10 off coupon I don't know but if you're going to give people a discount then don't cheat them out of there family meal. I still paid almost $50 for my dinner and was very disappointed. The food was hot all the fryer stuff was crispy and the flavor was okay considering it's fast food. But I definitely felt cheated. Rice and noodles were full more or less but the all the entree meat dishes definitely not full. Supposed to feed five yeah right.

They were busy. Had plenty of help to deal with the line. Today (7/1/25) went before the rush. Service was quick, and they were friendly. 8/25. Update still like the place.10/5. Okay went at 5pm hardly any food in the case. Jane my server said we can make it. I asked for orange chicken. She asked do you want to wait. I said seeing as you don't have I guess I'll have to wait for it. I guess my tone wasn't exactly gentle. I guess the question she asked seemed obvious. No fortune cookie and when I asked for hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce she put in 2 of each. That wasn't all I ordered. Spent $36 for both plates plus extra items.

Very disappointed! The portions are so small at this location… unless it’s rice. One plate with The green bean chicken had mostly green beans. I had to share some of my chicken with my partner so she could have more than two pieces. The beef was old and hard. I know this is fast food Chinese food but I expected a bit better. The only good thing was the lady taking my order was very nice!

Went through the drive thru, they were fast. ordered the family meal. Orange chicken/noodles were good. Fried rice was okay. the only thing I am concerned about/would complain about would be the broccoli beef. Broccoli was good, but the beef... It tasted really old, the meat was a really weird texture.

I loved it so much that I want to marry it.

Everytime I go to this panda I regret it. I spend no less then $40 every single time and something is wrong. Food is rarely fresh. It looks and taste like it’s been sitting all day. I’ll ask to use my rewards and it never gets applied even when I provided barcode. I always have to ask for everything, sauce, chopsticks or napkins. Other pandas will Atleast ask. And Everytime I do have to ask the women working the drive through makes a face like I’m asking for something outrageous.

The noodles smelt like sewer water, could tell the food was a few hours old. Workers were respectful and nice but I do not recommend eating here.
