Beautiful! I loved the whole experience. The place is so well kept and organized. You get to see art, pictures and learn about his life , family and musical career. A must see!

I was very impressed with this museum. I was even more impressed with one of the guides who presented the immersive experience at the painting room. I learned a lot about José Alfredo Jiménez in this museum.

Cool place if your into Art. We stopped by to check it out. Free to get in. Pretty big inside to look around. Lots of art to buy.
Jose S — Google review
If you are a fan of the singer this is a must see as they have about a 10-mins "immersive experience" as you walk in which is just terrific, that goes through his catalog of music and the titles and songs are explained. This is beautiful for everyone. The guide-less tour of the home is short, but very nice. Definitely worth going in, prior to the mausoleum bus tour.
Dj L — Google review
If you like Jose Alfredo Jimenez, then you will enjoy this museum with original telegrams and clothing. Awesome stuff.

A little crowded, never the Less a good place to visit and see how the homes and people used to live. Good place to learn some history and the cover is friendly.

The Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores is a historic church located in the heart of Dolores Hidalgo. This magnificent building holds great significance as it was the site where Hidalgo delivered his famous Grito, marking the beginning of Mexico's fight for independence. The church's stunning architecture, adorned with intricate details made of cantera, showcases a blend of baroque churrigueresque style.
Magnificent architecture! You can see bullet holes from a long time ago engraved in the front of the building. The inside is incredible and the design of this place is breath taking. So much history to be learned from this place. This is where Mexico fought for its independence long ago. The Cry of Dolores or “Grito de Dolores”, was when a priest rang the bells and triggered the start of the Mexican war on September 16, 1810.
David M — Google review
I recently visited Dolores Hidalgo that had a beautiful church called Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores. The church was located near a lovely plaza in the center of town. It was a quick stop for me before I headed to San Miguel de Allende. The town had a charming atmosphere and I enjoyed my short stay there.

Dolores hidalgo Is known as "la cuna de la independencia" or the cradle of Independence. This church is probably one of the more popular ones due to its importance in Mexican history.
Andy M — Google review
Start of Independence for Mexico, great place to walk a little and take some pictures of the parish church.
Pedro A — Google review
It is a very large and well-preserved church. Walking through its corridors, one can see the care and maintenance dedicated to keeping it in such a great state. It's one of the most ostentatious churches I have seen while visiting Mexico.
Erick V — Google review
This beautiful church stands tall among the local buildings. Please keep an eye out for the intricate details found on the front facade, which are made of cantera. Construction first began in 1712, and three centuries later it still remains as a prime example of baroque churrigueresque style. Upon entering the facilities, gaze up to the ceiling and you will discover a taste of centuries past.
Vidal R — Google review
Magnificent Parroquia de Nuestra Senora marking the birthplace of the Mexican Revolution against Spain in September of 1810. Father Hidalgo made his famous call to war to the local population on this plaza. After over a decade of bloodshed the costly conflict gave way to Freedom for Mexico in 1821.
How Y — Google review
A beautiful church, and since it's facing the main plaza, you can have some of Dolores Hidalgo's famous ice cream at the outdoor stands there after your visit. This church figured in the Mexican independence movement; there are several interesting, inexpensive museums a few paces away.

The Museo del Bicentenario in Dolores Hidalgo is a highly recommended museum, particularly for those who enjoy visiting intimate and peaceful exhibition spaces. It offers an interactive area suitable for group visits with friends or family. This museum stands out as an excellent option if you prefer smaller venues that provide a relaxed atmosphere.
My favorite Dolores Hidalgo museum, there is an interactive room if you want to go with friends or family, if you like to visit small quiet museums this is a great option.

Very small museum just a couple of rooms. There are different art exhibitions through the year. Just to one side of the main church of the city in an old building. Tjere is also a permanent exhibition of pottery traditional of the region and part of the lical tradition.

(Translated by Google) The name "Bicentennial Museum" is a misnomer. It should be called "Museum of graphic memory and historical archive of Dolores Hidalgo Guanajuato." In this enclosure, more than exclusively finding data about the Independence of Mexico, we find data about the town, its festivities and customs of its inhabitants. It's interactive, I liked it, you spend a quiet and learning time. And it lacks more exhibitions, the place can offer much more... All the staff very attentive, the place very clean, the place very well preserved... The bad thing, the inaccessible urinals, as if the users were taller than 2m to be able to urinate, an average man has to urinate on tiptoe and even then it is not enough.

Dare and discover the Museums of Dolores Hidalgo. One of the museums of Dolores Hidalgo is precisely the Casa de Dolores Hidalgo Museum, a place that makes you feel like you are in another era, and the house, in addition to having been built in the 18th century, has been preserved in the customs of the Independence era. Here we can take a tour of the place where the Father of the Nation lived from 1804-1810; We have the kitchen, the dining room, an urn with the remains of General Pedro García, personal objects of the Priest (such as his glasses), etc. Dolores' house is also known as “Little France”, because inside, as was done in France, gatherings were organized that promoted freedom of thought. In 1863, it was declared National Heritage by former president Benito Juárez. (Original) La experiencia de conocer Dolores Hidalgo es única e inolvidable. We really enjoyed our visit to Cuna de Tierra with wine 🍷 tastings on the patio. Oldest winery in Dolores Hidalgo, GTO. We had a fantastic lunch at the Cuna de Tierra Restaurant! The setting is just what you are after when eating in a vineyard, vines all around, fantastic shady table under a tree and a knowledgeable sommelier that can recommend pairings from the a la carte menu. The food is also excellent, with Mexican and more European dishes available. Thanks to Antonio and the team for a wonderful experience!! And let’s not forget the stars of the show, the wines are fantastic with a wide range by the glass too

We spent an exceptional afternoon at Cuna de Tierra learning about the wine and the history of the region. Our host Paco was knowledgeable, gracious, engaging, humorous and clearly passionate about the importance of this growing wine region. We opted to have the four course lunch paired with four very nice wines. Pairing on 3 of the 4 were spot on, my wife believed all four were perfect. Lunch was served under a covered terrace overlooking the vineyard. The chef explained the food and preparation for each dish. The food was exceptional as was the wine, the hospitality was equally memorable. We will be enjoying the wine we brought home with fond memories of our afternoon at the vineyard.

Jose S — Google review
(photos are from one of my "happier restaurant visits" I am going to leave them there.) I'm going to give this place a long time to figure out if they need my business. Yesterday, I bought 3 milanesa empanizada plates to go, and an extra salad. It cost me almost $340 pesos. Meanwhile I bought 1 kilo (they always make it 1.1 kilos when you order 1 kilo) of raw chicken breast and 1.5 kilos (they automatically measure out 1.6 or 1.7 kilos when you order 1.5 kilos) of legs and thighs in their polleria room on the side. I spent well over $700 pesos for chicken and chicken dinners, which makes 3 days of food for us, which in today's inflation climate is a lot of money. I had to go out and buy more food. My dogs got a very expensive guiso. I walked back to my vehicle and put the cold chicken in a new, very efficient, high grade insulated cooler bag. Then I drove STRAIGHT HOME. No side trips to anywhere else. We opened the cooler bag and all the chicken had a rotten smell in it, in 20 minutes from time of purchase to time of opening the package. Which means, they sold it to me BAD. None of the salads were any good. They ought to know better than to put cold salads and hot food in the same container. Even the "fresh" salad was a little rotten. They're not taking measures to deal with the 38° summer heat. Sure these are hot temperatures in these summer days. But that's not an excuse to sell rotten food. That's an opportunity to "UP YOUR GAME' to meet safety requirements so your customers don't get sick and end up in the hospital. I will wait a year before I go back. Freshness of raw chicken had always been an issue at any of their locations. Earlier this year, I came in to talk to the owner lady that they do not use ice to keep the chicken cold at the Avenida Sur location by Pollo Sabroso. I have not returned to that location, since. But until my last purchase there, on the final 4 visits, the chicken smelled bad the moment I opened the bag. Which means, they sold it to us bad. On my visit to the main location a few months ago, I stopped to tell the owner that the chicken in that Avenida Sur location was bad because they fail to use ice. The owner accused me of not keeping the chicken cool on my way home. She tried to turn it around on me, saying it was my fault. Then the last time I went there, HER chicken was bad. Can't blame that on me. Yesterday, I was buying food for my extended family, that I now have to turn it into dog food for my guard dogs. The workers had no ice on any of the chicken and it was not cold. Cool, yes, but not cold. Nothing looked good, and there was a little bit of bad smell in the polleria. Just like I gave a famous nearby pizza place in downtown an extended "5 year break" from business when they tried to steal my credit card information, I am giving Pollo Sabroso a 1 year break because they knowingly sell bad chicken, and they lie about it when you hold them accountable. Bye, for awhile.
Cristos P — Google review
This is my 3rd review. Pollo Sabroso consistently deletes negative reviews to falsely maintain a fake high rating. This is not a good way to conduct business. It will ultimately end in their business failing when the public abandons them for their own reasons. My last review had to do with a young male employee "making eyes" at me. I know I'm not extremely handsome, but my wife liked me enough to marry me. Having a male employee stare at me like he wants to go to bed with me... nope. Not having it. That was about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I bought chicken from the polleria side that I carried home in a very good insulated container. It STUNK LIKE IT WAS ROTTEN when I got home 20 minutes later. It will make good food for my big guard dogs, nothing more.

(Translated by Google) The dishes, in addition to being delicious, are very generous, the quality-price ratio is excellent, I think it is worth every penny of what you pay, the guacamole is unbeatable, the dishes smell delicious and that is only the prelude to its flavor, frankly it is one One of the best chicken restaurants if we talk about flavor, the facilities are barely sufficient, but if you don't care about the place and the flavor, you will love it. The pe au gratin is 100% recommended. Nestled in the heart of Dolores Hidalgo, Fonda Santa Patria is a charming eatery that captures the essence of Mexican culture. The interior boasts a cozy ambiance, while the terrace offers a pleasant spot to enjoy your meal. Diners rave about the delicious food, including a mixed platter featuring flank steak and marinated Cecina paired with chorizo, nopales, and guacamole—though some found the guacamole slightly onion-heavy.
Nice, clean, cozy. Food was great. Freshly made. Reasonable.

(Translated by Google) The place is very nice inside but the terrace was not the best, the food was good as were the prices. We ordered a mixed plank of flank steak with marinated Cecina, it came accompanied by chorizo, with nopales and guacamole, the guacamole had too much onion for my taste. Tortillas and sauces. But the taste of the meat was very good, it's perfect oars to share between 2 people. It has more typical Mexican dishes and the concept of the place is very original with a Mexican theme. I leave the menu in the photos. :) (Original) El lugar es muy agradable en la parte de adentro pero la terraza no era lo mejor, la comida era buena al igual que los precios. Nice place, with a nice atmosphere. Service is good although feels they are overwhelmed by the amount of customers. The buffet is the choice if you want something cheap, simple but still delicious. Please stay away from here. We arrived at this EMPTY restaurant and it took about 20 minutes for our waitress to take our drink and food orders. It took an hour for bread and butter to be delivered to our tables. We figured it was because our group was large and hoped the food was going to be worth it. After another 40 minutes our food arrived already cold. The stuffed shrimp order came with 4 undercooked shrimps wrapped in bacon and the enchiladas looked pitiful. The molcajete was delicious but not worth it.

Mausoleo José Alfredo Jiménez cemetery and I must say, it was quite stunning! The architecture and overall design of the cemetery were truly impressive. However, I must admit that the crowds were quite overwhelming. It was difficult to fully appreciate the beauty of the cemetery with so many people around. Fun stop on Dolores, especially if you’ve seen Coco because it reminds of the musician’s tomb in the movie. The most amazing part is the mosaic sarape that winds its way around the tomb. Not all that much to see, but if you’re passing by it definitely is worth a stop.

We were expecting more from this place because of its high ratings, but it didn't measure up in my opinion. A very quiet place, not far away from centro, where you’ll least expect to way so well. The food was delicious, some better than others but still délicious. Highly recommend the seafood soup, an explosion of flavors, The platter of fried calamari was amazing as well. The grilled shrimp was good, The pizza was ginormous unfortunately we were already too full to enjoy it. The espresso, panacota and tiramisu were out of this world. All in all I’ll go back to Dolores Hidalgo just to eat there again. Don’t let the fact that it is not very full fool you, it is an excellent place that has its clientele. Service was excellent. I have wanted to eat there for sometime. It was my birthday, so my pick. The service was turtle slow. When the food came, the pasta was hard, congealed & cold on all three plates we ordered. It wasn't crowded so there was no reason for it to sit under the warmer. The server never offered more drinks or dessert. I had heard so many great things abt this restaurant, but it was all hype. Won't return.

I absolutely loved this place. The ambiance is nostalgic. I first only just bought a concha to taste. It was light & fluffy. It was very tasty. We love this bakeshop!! We go to panaderias all over Mexico & also buy from Chedraui (out of necessity), sometimes, & this is one of the best!! Not only are the products delicious & quality excellent, but the prices are as about the same as Chedraui. These ones are made with more love, care & pride. Kids especially loved the cupcakes in the window with the dinosaur or the mermaid tail. The empanadas are some of the best. I didn't want to let anyone even try my ham & mushroom one, it was soo yummy! I'm not a huge fan of cream cheese, but they made it work inside it, & it had a little heat. It was perfect, & unforgettable. My hubby enjoyed the cinnamon roll & the danish with blueberries. My boys enjoyed their frappes. Good coffee as well. People kept coming in & out of the bakery as we sat there. (Clean restroom, too.)

Some pancakes where blackened they don t serve real american coffee, the eggs where not over easy they were almost raw and if you order the american breakfast dont expect maple syrup.

Great place to get a cup of coffee and breakfast. Fresh orange juice. Runs about $80 pesos. And you can hear English music and TV-movie.
