I absolutely loved this place. I missed seeing the “real” Stonehenge whilst in the UK… so to see it here was an experience. The setting, the story behind the quarrying of the local granite, the “science” behind positioning it to align with the solstices was amazing. Being inside the structure was peaceful & quiet - until a busload of tourists came. Thoroughly recommend.
Di H — Google review
It's Stone Henge! You get a history of the installation with entry. They don't get into the uses of Stone Henge and history of the real Stone Henge; that's for you to unlock later. They make a pretty good Devonshire Teas - although it was missing the Tea. so, I had coffee. Reasonable entry fee and on the way to Cape Le Grande parks.
Anthony K — Google review
10 out of 10 for the pure eccentricity of this! Just brilliant and so much more accessible than the original version back home in England!…Australian madness at its finest!! Opening hours are 9am-1pm in the winter…deffo worth the small entry fee.
Mike W — Google review
I enjoyed seeing this very much as the scale is 1:1 with the original in the UK. Obviously not as worn and ancient looking but that is to be expected with the millennial time frame difference. Inside the stone circles one definitely felt the mystique of the place
Annie H — Google review
Yes, the whole idea of this place is bonkers, but it was worth a visit, especially if you’ve been to the original in the UK to see what it should have looked like. Made from real, locally sourced stone, it’s a really impressive structure, with a little guide from the cashier at the beginning. $14pp.
Alana S — Google review
Amazing! Who would have thought there was a full sized model of Stonehenge in Esperance? Well worth the visit!
Christine P — Google review
I gotta say, I really rate this attraction! Most times you find a replica attraction of somewhere famous, it isn't done well. Let me turn that upside down. The work, the detail, the layout and sheer mass of what they recreated here is beyond awesome. This has been built to the exact size of the real Stonehenge, the only difference, all of it is here and still in tact. They have created this to be what the complete ancient Stonehenge would have been when first built. Many of the quarry cut Esperance Granite stones are 50 ton plus. The layout is exactly set out with alignment for the winter and summer solstice. Very spectacular. Bloody flies however, yes there were a few. The staff in the entry area were super knowlegeable re the history of the construction and give you a walk through on how and when it was built. I found it great value at $14 a head for my Wife and I. Put it on your Esperance Must do list, you wont be sorry.

RAC Esperance Holiday Park offers a variety of accommodations, from simple cottages to casual apartments with kitchens, all set on a grassy property. Recently renovated with a $12 million overhaul by the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC), the park now features luxurious new villas and upgraded facilities. While some guests noted minor inconveniences like lack of washing up liquid in kitchens and bugs in the bathrooms, overall feedback is positive.
We stayed here in a camper van for 4 nights after doing Perth to Esperance and this was BY FAR the nicest site that we stayed in. I cannot recommend it enough. The shower and toilet block is top tier. They are individual rooms with lots of space to change and get ready. The showers were hot and had a waterfall shower head, they were always spotless. The kitchen was always clean. There isn't any equipment in the kitchen but we had what we needed. It is new and well maintained. The pool was great, as was the games room. Everything is close by. There are some really nice runs along the beach from outside the campsite. The only thing I will say, is the beach outside the campsite isn't very nice. They are doing building works on the beach which means you cannot sit there. Having said that, you can be at some stunning beaches within a 10 min drive and Cape Le Grand in 40mins.

We always love heading to Esperance for the school holidays, and we always stay at RAC Esperance Holiday Park. The kids have a blast hanging out with other kids in the pool and rec area, also the facilities and amenities are awesome. Sites are spacious for caravans and tow vehicles. All in all great vibe everything's close walking distance.
Juvarn E — Google review
Great park. We had a powered caravan site for a week. The amenities are quite new and kept clean and stocked. There were some issues however it was OK as there are plenty of extra toilets. The park is opposite the beach and a close walk into town or to the Jetty. We would definitely recommend stopping here.
Tomo T — Google review
It was the best week camping at the caravan park. The facilities are amazing. The toilets and chairs are lovely. Clean great layout easy Access beautiful service some great spots to head out to our lucky Bay Walton Bay. Hellfire and Esperance beaches are just beautiful. It’s got everything you need right down the road shopping centre. Great place a holiday with the family.

We (me, my brother and my mom) loved our stay at RAC Esperance Holiday Park! Monique was super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had such a nice, chill vibe — it honestly felt like a little village. Our van site was perfect, clean bathrooms, great facilities, and even a pool. The night was quiet and peaceful, with really calm and respectful neighbors. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which kept dropping, so we could barely use the internet. But apart from that, everything was amazing — would definitely stay here again!
Camilla M — Google review
Pulled into the park late without a booking but the lovely staff graciously gave me the emergency spot right up the back, saving me a long trip to Norseman, as all the Esperance van parks were full. I will be forever grateful especially to Monique, I think her name was, you guys are just the best!! Lovely tidy park, very well organised, with electric car charging right next to a dog friendly beach. What more could you ask for!
Stan G — Google review
Never disapointed by a RAC caravan park. 2 of us with a 4WD with roof top tent. Ammenities are great as always and clean. Location just by the Beach. Pool and barbecue with large kitchen. Only the wifi was really not working properly at the time we were there
B L — Google review
We stayed three nights in a powered site with our rooftop tent and really enjoyed our time here. The facilities are excellent — bathrooms, kitchen and common areas are super clean and well maintained, and the whole campground is spacious and well organized. A couple of small downsides: you can’t pay for the laundry tokens by card, which feels a bit old-fashioned in 2025. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do our laundry and really needed it after several days on the road. On our last night we also received a message informing us that some strangers had entered the park, apparently trying to steal something — which we actually appreciated because the staff warned everyone immediately. However, it might be a good idea to have a night security person doing rounds to avoid this kind of situation. Overall, a great experience and a really well-kept campground — we would definitely stay again!😊

Thai restaurant
Siam Thai Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its amazing food and great service. The venue's perfect location provides stunning views of the bay, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal. While some find the prices slightly high for the portion sizes, the overall dining experience is highly recommended. Dishes like pad thai, green curry, cashew chili wok-fried, and chicken Thai fried rice are particularly praised for their delicious flavors.
Customer service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and it was a lovely casual dining atmosphere. Happy, chatty vibe with lots of laughs from the staff in the kitchen was great to hear.

Food tasted amazing- satay chicken the sauce was great, loved the potato twist prawns, beef massaman was so tender and the green curry was nice and mild. Staff were lovely and the view is pretty. Highly suggest for dinner in Esperance.

Fantastic food and flawless service We dined as a group of 16 and everything ran smoothly—meals arrived quickly with no one left waiting. The food was delicious, the service impressively fast, and the BYO option is a bonus. Well worth a visit!

Amazing food. Was a really good experience, we love thai food so my partner and I enjoyed a lot. Highly recommend
Maicol S — Google review
Food was ok but all in all just way too expensive for what it was. Prawn spring rolls were tasty (if you like artificial food) but way too pricey and couldn’t taste the prawns much. $16 for these 5 mini rolls. Fried rice was a too small portion as well for $25. Not much taste, “crispy” pork was not crispy at all. Red curry was very good, portion ok. Had to order extra rice to it and such a small portion of rice was $9 extra. My 3 stars go definitely to the lovely young waitress who served our food. Great service but too pricey.

Thanks to Lyn at the center, I'm now well-equipped to fully enjoy my three days in the Esperance area. Using the trusty paper map, she highlighted key routes and stops I might enjoy. There is lots of good info on Cape Le Grand, which will help me allocate my time appropriately. Well worth visiting to get the local insights. Check out the Museum Village in the same spot

Good information centre , helpful staff, can be busy so be patient. Would be good if the centre did move to the museum so it was open more as disappointingly we missed going through the museum due to reduced open hours.

Not only was she knowledgeable about Esperance but she could also advise on our ongoing travels to Hopetoun, Bremer Bay, Albany and Denmark. She helped us decide on which NP ticket was best for us and was just so helpful and enthusiastic about the area.

It is known for its outstanding sizzling combinations and delightful garlic prawns. The restaurant provides great service and a pleasant dining experience. Located near the beautiful Cape Le Grand National Park, it is a must-visit for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine in Esperance.
Absolutely loved this little gem. We’re both vegan and Clara (I hope we have that right - apologies if we don’t…) was soooo amazing. She confirmed what was vegan with the chef, and provided a list & recommendations. She was hilarious too so it made it a perfect meal. Would highly recommend!

For such a remote town, it was lovely. I thoroughly loved the Fried goods like the Fried dim sims and the sweet and sour pork The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The restaurant was very well designed, decorated with tasteful artwork and appropriate lighting and nice background music. Pretty good

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic local Chinese! We’ve had takeaway here four times now and it’s been incredible every time. The Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, honey chicken, and fried rice are all spot on — fresh, full of flavour, and generous serves. Easily the best Chinese in Esperance! We’ll definitely keep coming back.
Michael L — Google review
Ordered the seafood chow mien. The prawns, scallop and squids are very fresh and the noodle are tasty. Portion is just right. Love the hot chinese tea on a windy cold night. The lady and uncle serving us are very friendly. Will return again to try other dishes. 😊
Wendy W — Google review
Extremely disappointed with the food, prawns still had the digestive track (faeces). The fried rice smelt like ammonia and tasted of chemicals. Everything else was just sloppy. I would never order from here again, we noticed after getting a refund on a couple of items that the owners were talking badly about us on the way out.
Natalie — Google review
Head a great meal for 5 of us. The chef prepared a special dish for one of us who had dietary issues. Was perfect. Clara our waitress from Brazil apparently was a great attribute to the restaurant. Made the whole evening a pleasure.
Jenny T — Google review
Appalling service. "Forgot phone order". Was told 15 minutes. Waited 45. Food atrocious. Curried prawns tasted exactly like too much Keene's or Clive's curry powder. Fried dim Sims soft soggy and definitely unappetizing. Save your money, save your taste buds, save your stomach! Avoid this place like the plague!
Wayne S — Google review
Food was beautiful but when after paid for meal had realised had been charged for an extra fried rice ..$190+ for a meal for two adults and a teenager seemed steep so we counted up ourselves and realised we were overcharged... an easy thing to rectify but the owner instead argued the point and instead of giving us a refund easily, had the poor young girl behind the counter with her back to us crying.Would definitely recommend being nicer to your staff or you won’t have any to run a business …and to the girl who was crying, you did an amazing job with what you have to work with and don’t let this little hiccup ruin your day ❤️

Bistro Louis is a charming French-style cafe located in the historic Museum Village of Esperance. The bistro, led by co-owner and head chef Roger Poutet, offers traditional brunch favorites such as croque monsieur, freshly filled baguettes, and house-baked pastries.
A little hidden gem this place is. All staff made us feel welcome and at home, impeccable service! Food was unreal, oysters were fresh and creamy served with lemon, hot sauce, mignonette sauce and dill - so good. Scallops were next level. 10/10 vibes, had French music playing 10/10 service 10/10 food Overall a top tier fine dining experience, and a must go if you’re in Esperance. Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely sensational! My parents were visiting from the UK, and it was Mums birthday, so we wanted to go somewhere special. Boy, did Bistro Louis deliver! The food was incredible, and the service was lovely. The place itself was wonderful, and we loved the classic feel.

Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Food was fantastic and delicious. Visited on the first night and found the food to be great and immediately made reservations for the following night. Bistro Louis didn’t disappoint and it was another great night!
Jui T — Google review
Excellent food. Great service. Cosy atmosphere which is a covered deck on the side of the house. Easy to book online, which is recommended. We went on a Saturday evening and it was full. Had a great evening. My steak was perfect. Rare, as I'd requested. But it must have been given a few seconds on a white hot grille as there was a very thin, crisp top to it. Delicious. But...a warning. Due to the configuration of the bistro and odd local laws (?) regarding the requirement for toilets, there IS no toilet. You have to use a public toilet about 100m away in the park alongside. Not ideal...
Ian M — Google review
We enjoyed a fantastic meal for our wedding anniversary dinner last week. Everything about the evening was first class. Louanna, ( I hope I have that right?) was delightful, Clementine was wonderfully professional, and Juan ( again, apologies if I’ve got that wrong!) was also superb! What a little treasure to be found here in Esperance.👍

Town / Street Art, I would say it's best to view in the morning when the sun is low to get the full effect. It's still worth a look on the way out to the jetty.

I love sculptures so really liked this one. Walking along the coastal path in Esperance, changes colour as you walk round, it was lovely.

Great to imagine how big whales are. The spots on the Esplanade road are really beautiful. Would be a good idea to bring baby stroller to enjoy the walk and views.

33 Degrees Esperance is a popular spot in town known for its great food, wide selection of drinks, and stunning views of the Bay. It's a relatively new establishment but has quickly gained a reputation for its trendy atmosphere and lively ambiance. Whether you prefer indoor or outdoor dining, 33 Degrees offers both options. You can enjoy lunch or dinner at the bar while taking in the bustling atmosphere or head to the upper deck for a sunny afternoon overlooking the bay.
Amazing food, lovely tasty cocktails! Staff were very friendly and helpful, fantastic food! The lamb was incredible and not fatty at all!
Amy S — Google review
Lovely location if you can get a table by the window to look at the sea. Ordered two brisket burgers, one halloumi burger and the salmon dish. Also got the mango bruschetta toast as entree. Mango bruschetta was expensive. Nice but small. Salmon dish was delicious. Halloumi burger was also nice, except for the fact that it’s packed with cheap filler that ruined the taste of the burger - Rocket salad leaves. A regular salad or coleslaw would have been fine. Brisket burgers were both cold. The meat was cold to touch. We sent one burger back, which the staff were kind about. A new burger was bought out, warmer but still not hot. When you’re sitting outside and it’s very windy and cold, the last thing you want is a cold burger. You need to go grab your own cutlery, water, serviettes and ask for tomato sauce if you’ve ordered hot chips. They don’t offer it or ask you if you want any.

My siblings & I went to Loose Goose for dinner tonight. The food & service was excellent. Good parking at front of restaurant. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. Our drinks arrived promptly. Food order was taken shortly after our drink. I had Italian steak , my siblings had Esperance local sirloin steaks & comfit duck. My pepper steak was cooked to my liking. The food was tasty & flavourful. My family & I have enjoyed our dinner . We will recommend the restaurants to friends & family. We will return! Thank you to the chefs & staff of Loose Goose for a pleasant evening , excellent food & service.

We enjoyed our meal there. The mains are all $44 each and the children's meals are $20 each. We had the chicken queen something special and the fish gummy something and they were great. The kids had duck on mash and steak pieces as per the photos. All good. The sushi main isn't the best value - a bit small for the price.
Tony M — Google review
Though a bit in the expensive side (140$ for 2 people with 2 courses each and a bottle of wine) the food was delicious and the staff great. They provide a set menu of 1,2 or 3 courses on which you have quite a number of options. We went for the kilpatrick oysters and the camembert in filo pastry starters, both great, maybe the cheese better. The confit duck and pig was a good option as well but my favorite was the Sirloin, a big portion perfectly cooked in a red wine sauce. We were too full to go for desserts. The wine list is pretty big, mostly on the red side, with a mix of WA wines and international.
Marina F — Google review
Don’t recommend The reception was not so welcoming. The steak was just ok and marinated chicken pieces are terrible. They are just fried chicken and tasted no flavor. So why called marinated? The white wine served with chicken is like water. Nothing special and not worth the price.

Yes! There is 5 star dining (at 3 star prices) in Esperance. Amazing service and fabulous food. I had the scallops which were plump, juicy and perfectly cooked. The accompanying wedges were hot, crunchy and fluffy inside. Totally recommend this awesome place!
Krissy H — Google review
Awesome food, with top notch staff. We had a big group and everyone was happy with their meals. If you're a fan of scallops, make sure you get them for an entree as they're delightful!
Jessica S — Google review
It's a set menu of some sort, where every dish costs $38 and with that you get a main and a garlic/herb bread that nobody asked for. I had a pastry fish dish which was quite nice, but not $38 nice. When it came time for desert I had the toffee desert and it was incredibly sweet. For the price I'd expect far more. We arrived when the place was empty, but once it filled up we were too easily forgotten about.

Downtown Espresso Bar is a charming white-washed coffee spot that offers an array of specialty coffees, light meals, and snacks such as toasties and daily baked pastries. They also participate in a unique coffee mug exchange program, allowing customers to take out their drinks using up-cycled donated coffee cups. Additionally, they offer $1 batch brew top-ups of filtered coffee.
I googled the best places for coffee in Esperance and it led me here! We ordered some cappuccinos, a matcha latte (highly recommended) and some pastries. The pastries were all warm and there’s both sitting areas and standing space to eat. I had the cheese pretzel and loved it. Will be back next time I’m in Esperance!

I’ll say it’s one of the only decent / cute coffee places in central Esperance. Really yummy coffee, food is ok, service is really good, place is small but cozy, recommend!!

I am from Sydney & have been travelling around Aus trying every different matcha & coffee. This has seriously got to be one of the best (or the best) places to get these two drinks. Pricer than other cafes but well worth it! The matcha is strong & lovely with the cinnamon they sprinkle on top. The coffee was my favourite, I hate when you order a coffee and all you can taste is the milk, this was strong and so tasty, I’ve been telling everyone about this cafe since coming. All the girls are lovely in there and seem to have a really nice bond/vibe going on which I value a lot when going into a cafe, nothing worse than entering a cafe and seeing the staff beef on. THANKYOU & keep being fab xxx

I ordered an iced mocha and was surprised — no whipped cream, and it came in the same paper cup as the hot coffee. Bit of a cultural shock 😂 But the staff were really friendly and kind, which made the experience better. Hopefully the café can improve on these small details.

Xing's Sushi & Noodle is a no-fuss eatery that serves up delicious sushi and noodles in a simple setting. Patrons rave about the yummy peppered beef, nasi goreng, and Singaporean noodles. The friendly staff ensures quick service, with meals cooked in just 15 minutes. The food is described as delicious, with generous portion sizes and great value for money. Vegetarian options are available, including the highly recommended laksa.

Very yummy food. The kwai teow box was very tasty and well seasoned. The nasi goreng was more of a satay fried rice and maybe not enough salt but added my own and it was fine. Would recommend!
C R — Google review
Dined in for takeaway and unfortunately the spring rolls were hot on the outside but still frozen in the middle. Also you must have to ask for takeaway cutlery as none were provided. Otherwise service was great, food came out quickly and the other meals were tasty. I had the vegetarian Singapore noodles. I was hoping to get sushi but they do not make it to order - it’s just what is available in the fridge and they didn’t have any vegetarian sushi left unfortunately.
Amber B — Google review
The place looks a bit shady. But otherwise the food was good and despite the long queue, because they are the only place open, they really did try their best to prepare everything quickly. My sister and I were satisfied with our orders. We had honey shrimp and laksa.
Candice A — Google review
Lovely staff and very reasonable pricing. I ordered Mongolian beef with fried rice, only 5 slices of beef and soggy tasteless fried rice. Disappointing and hungry as I threw it out.
Marita C — Google review
Great food with nice flavours. Made fresh to order and served hot! I had the vegetarian noodle soup and it was really tasty, only criticism could be that there wasn’t much veg in the soup, maybe some broccoli or baby sweetcorn would’ve been nice. Atmosphere is lacking and customer service was standard, but I would come again!
Zara Z — Google review
Really disappointing experience. The chilli beef noodles were really bad, the food overall was very bland and even a bit smelly. The chicken karaage was the only thing somewhat decent. Service was also very poor. Wouldn’t recommend at all. *Edit Update: Made no mention about surcharge. Was not even bothered by it to be honest. Also, get your fact right — i wanted to pay by card as I do not carry cash much, but seeing your hesitation, i paid cash.

This has been the nastiest Noodle and rice I have ever had. Who knows how old were these so called dumplings were. And they were cold in the middle. They were They gave some sort of syrup for the spring roll sauce. I can get better frozen food at Woolies. Absolutely do not recommend. Stay away

Subway is a popular international chain known for its customizable sandwiches and wraps. The casual counter-serve restaurant offers health-conscious options, making it a convenient choice for travelers on the go. Customers praise the friendly staff and efficient service at various locations, with many highlighting the delicious food and freshly made subs. Despite being a fast-food chain, Subway stands out for its healthier menu choices compared to other options.
Service was outstanding! Food was fresh and hot, shop itself super clean and well looked after.

Average subway, food was to expectations. Store was clean. One of the few places open in Esperance on a Sunday. They have a "menu", but even if you ask for something off there you have to ask for each ingredient like you would for a non-menu sub anyway, which defeats the point a bit, but that might be a critique for Subway as a whole rather than this specific store.

Excellent customer service and delicious food. Two female staff members working at the time were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Cape Le Grand National Park is an extensive nature reserve boasting unspoiled coastlines, towering peaks, a variety of wildflowers and diverse flora. The park offers breathtaking panoramic views from every angle with endless stretches of bushland as far as the eye can see. A popular hiking spot is Frenchmans Peak which provides spectacular vistas across the park, although it may require some physical exertion to reach. Visitors can enjoy crystal clear and cool waters along pristine beaches dotted with numerous coves to explore.
All beaches in the Cape Le Grand National Park are stuning. They are such best beaches I have ever visited. I love Lucky Bay and Hellsfire Bay most. It was a 800km worthy drive from Perth to Esperance and Cape Le Grand to experience white sand, turquoise water, roos and warm weather in the summer.
Phung T — Google review
For an unforgettable 1-3 days escape combining crystal clear white sand beach, fantastic for swimming, rewarding hiking and excellent camping as well as best for drives near ocean. This is one of the best places in Western Australia.
Sandesh P — Google review
The size of this park is astounding, and each of the beaches are worth a visit. Make sure you give yourself enough time to explore. We were lucky enough to see one kangaroo on the beach at Lucky Bay. The sand is so fine and the water a beautiful blue colour. I wish we’d had time to attempt the climb to Frenchman’s peak.
Alana S — Google review
We walked the coastal trail. I’m sure the sign said an easy walk but at times it felt we were rock climbing a little. Allow plenty of time to walk between Lucky Bay and Thistle cove. With all the stops for scenery and wildflowers it took us 45 mins to do 2km. But well worth it though.
Shaun L — Google review
No 4WD required. Standard roads to the camp grounds, compacted gravel for campsite ground. Choose your own site on arrival, online booking through parks and wildlife website. No showers, 3x well kept drop toilets available with hand sink (not drinkable without treating). Stunning views, no signal however there is free wifi near the toilets/gamp entrance that provides 2 bars, enough for internet calls and online searches but not enough to send photos via messenger. Volunteer camp managers staying on site, will collect your booking details and greet you. Some lovely walking trails and beach attached to camp site. Would recommend if you’re set up for off grid and happy to forgo signal & shower during stay. I paid the national park fee on entering, not sure if that’s included in your booking fees? +$17

Unbelievable views, beaches and walks. Good car parking when we visited in October. Some places have coffee outlets near the beach some don't. Most have toilet facilities. Not all beaches are easy to get to if you have mobility issues. The cleanliness is very impressive, no litter in sight anywhere, please respect this if you visit.

Nice to come down here and sit on the beautiful white sand and watch the boats and people at the harbour, have a swim if it's hot,go fishing off one of the piers, launch the boat,or go to the ocean on the other side of the dunes, swimming in the harbour is not really recommended,as there are large fishing trawlers, big seals, and the water is very dark and Sharky further out.

Minutes from Esperance is Bandy Creek boat harbour and Bandy Creek Beach(s). Dogs (& horses) appear to be welcome here (We watched some horse owners exercise their horses by letting them go for a swim near the harbour). Soft pure white sand. Shallow clear turquoise waters. Perfect for little kids to swim as very sheltered. 4wd can also access apparently all the way through to Wylie rock beach, a couple a km along. While we've been told a 4wd isn't necessary, there were def some boggy patches before you reached the hard sand.

Fish Face Takeaway and Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Esperance, offering delicious seafood dishes. It is highly regarded among the top restaurants in the area, known for its fresh and fantastic seafood options. With a focus on providing world-class flavors, Fish Face Takeaway and Restaurant is a must-visit for those looking to experience the best of Esperance's culinary scene.
What a find! Fish Face completely blew us away with the quality of their seafood. We started with the oysters and mushroom chips - both were so good we almost didn't need mains! But the handwritten menu with the daily catches was too tempting to resist. We opted for the grilled Groper and Blue Grenadier, and both were cooked to absolute perfection. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to come back and try more!

This is more than just your average fish and chips, this is boutique fish and chips with a great vibe. The fish was delicious and so fresh! The scallops were caramelised and delectable. The sweet potato chips were lightly seasoned and crunchy and the avocado dipping sauce was magical! Highly recommend it, compliments to the chefs!

Was recommended by a friend and called in for dinner tonight. I had the $36 Fish Special. Grouper on silky mash and honey carrots. Is in the middle of the blackboard photo. Just wow and easily in my top 3 of fresh fish meals ever. Good sized serving of Grouper and presentation was beautiful, but flavour was even better. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of my plate. Went back and got the Grouper a few days later, and picture attached. The owner recommended the Fish Curry last time I was there and back for that this week. Cannot fault this curry at all. Lots of nice sized pieces of fish in a lovely curry sauce and not overpowering the flavour of the fish. Happy to recommend this dish also. Do yourself a favour and eat here. I will definitely be going back for another meal.
Karl D — Google review
Fish and squid were really fresh. Squid was tender, not rubbery. Portion of fish was pretty small tho. Chips were great! Also had the sticky date pudding which was a good end to our meal.
Debbie N — Google review
We read the reviews on this place ahead of time, which sounded promising so we were looking forward to it. We dined in and I had the Queen Snapper (I’ve had before elsewhere) which was quite nice (although small portion), sadly the chips were over cooked. My girlfriend had the fish curry which had good reviews but she found it tough and very salty and ate less than half of it. The music was quite relaxing though and a positive.
Michael P — Google review
We had a lovely take away meal- 2 x fish and chips + 2 x kids fish and chips + 5 x squid rings + 2 x pineapple fritters + 2 x potato cakes = $70. The meal overall was realky lovely and fresh. Not your standard greasy take away fish and chips. The squid was a stand out and the potato cakes were really good. Would recommend!!
Ebony J — Google review
What a find this fish and chip shop is! It's not overly expensive compared to others, however the freshness and quality of the food far outwieghs most I've been to in the past. Would definitely recommend this shop when you're in Esperance. The fish was cooked to perfection, the chip were a lovely golden brown but not over cooked. Most importantly the meal was hot and very enjoyable. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
Liz B — Google review
Had high hopes after reading the reviews and decided on the fish curry, which was way way too salty ( I love a curry too 😣 ) the fish in it for the most part was tough and over cooked, I left near all of it … other half had the Queen snapper which he said was ok, his chips, which you pay separately for, were a bit overdone … not the best to be fair, the service and music were the only things boosting this rating to a 2

Visitors can delve into the past through photographs, documents, and early settlement equipment on display. Additionally, the museum features a railroad exhibition that highlights the impact of railways on Esperance's development.

Great experience. So much Maritime history on display but what we loved the most was the Kimberley 3D visual film that's on at the moment. It is brilliant. Its a must visit and especially if you hadn't the opportunity to physically visit the Kimberley region when touring WA. I hope the film can make its way around Australia, because it should, and needs to be experienced!

What a great museum we throughly enjoyed the memorabilia and the history of the museum and Esperance township It’s fantastic to see so many volunteers working in the facility and taking so much pride on the standard of the displays available for the general public. The machinery section was a winner with the guys it was terrific trying to identify the equipment it bought back some many memories The old steam engine and carriages were in perfect condition and lovely to see The old ships were sensational including the small models scattered all around The Sky Lab display had us all talking for ages and discussing how lucky the area was not to suffer any injury from the falling debris Beautifully presented museum so clean and beautifully laid out Must be getting old as I could easily identify most of the can goods and kitchen products the memories just kept flowing back Must also comment on the opening of the time capsule what a surprise that was full of interesting history it was intriguing but a very disappointing decision not to build an abattoir in an area that really needed one Loved the wetlands behind the museum good idea and very pretty and well maintained Well done staff and those wonderful volunteers great job guys love the place

It is a bigger museum than it looks like. You can see all the history of Esperance (maritime and natural history, machinery and agriculture, military display, skylab etc). 👍 They have a lot of things here and even railway carriage and a locomotive! 😊 The staff was friendly and I could have the concession with a international student card. 👍 (By the way, the entry fee is cheap 😉) It is too bad that the museum only open at 1:30 pm. 😕 Their souvenirs shop is too small with a few range of products. I also wanted to see more about the aboriginal culture. 😔 (After the visit of the museum, you have a beautiful park just next to it! 🦆)

This is a fantastic overlook of Esperance and the turquoise beaches stretching both up and down the coast. It’s very close to the center of town as well as the beginning of the awesome Great Ocean Road. Watch for it on the left as you are heading west from town. There is parking, a short path, and a few steps to take you to the breathtaking scenery.

"Beautiful viewpoint with stunning scenery and a wide panorama that lets you see so much of the surrounding area. Definitely worth the stop for the views alone! However, it’s not really suitable for people in wheelchairs as the access is limited. Still, a lovely spot to take in nature and enjoy the moment

Esperance Island Cruises offers a cultural heritage and bush tucker tour that provides an insightful look into the rich history and nature of Kepa Kurl Esperance. The cruise is a great value for money, with knowledgeable commentary from the crew as you tour around the sheltered bays of the islands. Guests can expect to see sea eagles, seals, dolphins, and various sea birds while enjoying a comfortable ride.
The cruise is a really nice way to learn the history of the islands and see wildlife. You can see sea lions, Australian eagles, and dolphins if you are lucky. It's a must-do itinerary if you are visiting Esperance.

Dolphins, whales, sea lions, seals, and many bird species were sighted up close during this lovely local Esperance whale watching tour, skippered by the extremely knowledgeable, Colin and Paul. Take your bathers! Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved your boat. It was very comfortable and the trip you took us on was unforgettable. Loved how we got to feed the eagles fish, nice touch. Both hosts knew thier stuff and were easy going. The swim at Blue Haven at end of the trip was a highlight. Thank you for taking us on this memorable cruise.
Jaclyn S — Google review
The tour has been awesome. Not only we saw a lot of wildlife (seals, dolphins, eagle, whales), but also you get a detailed commentary on everything you see. You learn a lot about esperance and you also get the chance to snorkel in the beautiful blue haven beach. The team is very friendly and I can highly recommend it. We loved it, thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. We saw so much wildlife including dolphins, West Barren geese, white breasted sea eagles and fur seals. Travelling around and between the islands on a sunny day gave us the feeling of being somewhere in the Mediterranean especially with the beautiful azure water. The guide Paul was informative and interesting. The skipper gave us a good commentary of the development of the port over the years, which helped us understand how it operates. When we pulled into Blue Haven for a snorkel it was magic! So glad we did this tour🙏😀

I couldn't comprehend all of the negative feedback! We were searching for fish and chips on a Sunday evening, and there were only two open establishments. We chose Top End Takeaway and ordered the double pack. To our delight, everything was excellent, including the chips! The portion size exceeded our expectations, leaving us both satisfied. The service provided by the lady who served us was truly delightful.
Not much to look at from the outside, I was even on the edge of going across the road to Maccas but I’m glad I didn’t! Had a great 12” lamb sub full of meat and salad, a really nice young fella taking the order and feels a real family run type joint.
Hojo — Google review
Bought a seafood family pack last night, the 4 pieces of red emperor fish was wrapped separately and they were all greasy with soft batter some stuck to the grease proof paper. The chips and seafood prawn cutlets were good, the fish horrible. Not worth it, a waste of money try elsewhere.
Ron W — Google review
Ended up pretty much throwing the entire order that cost over $40 in the bin. The chips were soggy, crab sticks were all mushy in the middle and the fish burger almost made my partner throw up from what he said had an ammonia taste to it, worst thing his ever experienced...(It all looked liked it had been cooked in old oil also) 😔 Can say they make a great milkshake and that the Ladies out front serving were very welcoming.....

My go to fish n chip shop, good prices don't feel ripped off. fish n chips, seafood, burgers and more I've had from there and have been happy everytime. Only thing is it's popular and you may have to wait sometime so pays to call up but the friendly staff tell you before you order a wait time and it's accurate.

Highly recommend!! Such an old school place but ticked all the boxes! Got $10 of chips and they were the best in WA and such great value for money

Lady outback cooking was just yelling and complaining to the nice older lady doing her best at front counter serving everybody. No one deserves be treated way she was, if I was older lady would have told the lady out back to get stuffed and left. She could of just given nice advice on how do things but chose not to that day and everyone could here it

Both fish were soft and soggy and dry. Same as the seafood basket. I don't think I will come back again. Roughly 25 mins wait in a weeknight. The staff are friendly. Spacious and clean inside.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food restaurant famous for its burgers and fries. Customers have enjoyed delicious hot drinks and praised the friendly drive-through staff. The food, including wraps, chips, and burgers, is prepared fresh and tasty with quick service. However, some customers noted that the cleanliness of the tables and chairs could be improved.

Order happy meal with water and book… Got it with jus and toy. Ships not cook properly in all our meal, told them and get… ships not cook. Food not cook = food poisoning
Charly B — Google review
The fries were cold, dry and not properly prepared. I talked to the duty manager. His altitude was really bad. He insisted the fries were fresh prepared. However, we ordered twice that afternoon and the first two small packs were ok. The duty manager then changed the tune and said the fries could be cold randomly but he still can’t swap to a new one. His theory is he can only swap a new pack when it is not touched or taken. When I asked him how I can know the fries is not good before I eat them? He said it is what it is and walked away. What a disappointment. This bad experience on my first day arrived in Esperance ruined my expectations for McDonald and this city.

Had a very positive experience was greeted by a lovely blonde headed lady very bubbly and a smile that made me feel very comfortable and it was so genuine she was just finishing her shift and said goodbye that moment stayed with me and I noticed how all the staff worked really well together service was swift and the only negative thing I took away from this was my burger 🍔 don't get me wrong the big arch meal is how a burger should be large and very filling just it had been slapped together with out the care one would have if it was a family members or there own burger would have been all stacked unevenly so as I ate my burger all the ingredients soon unravelled into my hands was a very eventfull experience that you would expect to see when an infant eats wearing most on oneself ...alltho it was messy I still enjoyed my burger .what I will remember tho is the young lady because she was very genuine in her service wishing to fill my order and wanting me to be very happy with the whole experience and I had been driving since 8 am and couldn't find a bed anywhere so unfortunately I didn't experience the rest of Esperance but this was still very memorable.

Ordered fillet of fish with lg iced latte. Coffee was super strength and black with loads of sugar in it, undrinkable. Fish patty was hard, was told the fish was fresh when called. Worst maccas experience in my life.
Emilie J — Google review
I found the staff to be quite rude during my recent visit. I asked for an extra bag because the one provided with the food was full, and I needed to split the meals between my two children in the car. Instead of simply assisting, I had to explain the reason for an extra package, and the staff showed clear dissatisfaction with the request. Also, when placing my order at the driveway, I politely asked the staff member to repeat what they said due to unclear communication, but their response came across as irritated and dismissive. I understand the store was busy and staffs were busy. Disappointing experience overall — a bit of courtesy would have gone a long way.

Red Rooster is a well-known fast-casual franchise that focuses on delectable rotisserie chicken as its centerpiece. Alongside their succulent poultry, the establishment also offers a variety of alternatives such as hamburgers, fries, and fresh greens. With a reputation for delivering flavorful meals and friendly service, Red Rooster has become synonymous with quality dining options in the counter-serve industry.
I have been a loyal customer of Red Rooster for over 40 years, but after the disgraceful treatment by the staff at Esperance recently, l will never buy Red Rooster again. Horrible staff and they forgot my large chips in my order, how hard is it? So l rang to talk with the Manager who didn't seem to care, she didn't say sorry or offer to replace my missing items. Absolutely gobsmacked.... What happened to customer service? 1 STAR given only because l couldn't give 0 Stars. 🤬🤬🤬

Absolute disgrace. Ordered a rooster roll as I had a craving. When I finally collected my meal, which took well past the 10 minute mark, I could feel it was barely warm. Asked the staff very politely if I could have it heated up properly, no problem. Very accommodating. When I finally got it back and opened it, I would have been lucky if there was 15 grams of chicken in it. Not worth the effort of walking through the door. If I wanted a mayo roll I would have asked for one. Waste of money.
Gary D — Google review
Chicken looked a bit odd and i felt a bit off that night and day after. Roll was more sauce than anything else chips cold. Gave them feedback and they said they will improve but looking at the other reviews they don't seem bothered. Probably give this place a miss.

20 mins for some half cooked, cold, possibly salmonella infested, chicken strips in a cold bun, and some calslaw. This is a 'Reds Box'. I had an amazing dining experience at Emperor’s Garden Chinese Restaurant in Esperance! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Special Fried Rice, and every dish was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Amazing in every aspect. From the service by the beautiful young lady to how quick the food came out, the portion sizes and how much meat is in the dish. Generous servings, well balanced flavour, homemade entrees which were a great change to the usual packet entrees you get at other Asian restaurants. Thank you for an awesome experience, definetly recommend coming here if you are in Esperance.

Legit bs l, paid 144 bucks for 5 dishes and tasted like soggy everything. Meat is fresh but the cooking that is applied is far from comment terms, highlighting honey chicken and plum duck. All of it taste just like flour through canola oil. Not commenting on the soggy crackers that was given for free. As a Chinese myself, really disappointed for what has been served.

An absolutely classic regional Chinese restaurant in its decor and menu. There were a few people dining in when we got there early on a Monday evening, and the phone orders were constant, so it’s obviously popular with the locals. We enjoyed the food and found it to be fresh and tasty. The service was great.

We ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was really delicious. However, I just have one suggestion. If you make your pizza slightly less loaded with cheese and toppings, the pizzas will come out even better. Due to loaded toppings and cheese, our pizza came out very soggy from all the water coming out of veggies.
Umang P — Google review
First of all they forgot the ribs so we went back and were a huge disappointment any way. The kids pizza was good. The pepperoni pizza was a huge disappointment the pizza base wasn’t even cooked.also I think the pepperoni should be on top of the cheese so it’s cooked as well. Definitely not worth the price.

Cloud Eleven Esperance is a must-visit dining spot in the coastal town of Esperance. With a variety of restaurants offering diverse cuisines like Indian, Chinese, and Asian, food enthusiasts are in for a treat. The area also boasts popular eateries such as Loose Goose Bar & Restaurant and Fish Face Takeaway and Restaurant. Visitors can enjoy fresh lemon juice at Cloud Eleven while exploring the vibrant local arts scene or taking in the picturesque beaches during their visit to Esperance.
Breakfast: The decaffeinated coffee was excellent; I immediately wanted to buy their coffee beans after finishing it. The vegan version of the avocado sourdough was filled with a mysterious and unforgettable flavor. The combination of Japanese pickled radish, pickled vegetables, and the creamy smashed avocado was unexpectedly delightful and wonderful. Lunch: This meticulously crafted dish is amazing—every Japanese fast-food chain in the world should serve this vegan “teriyaki tofu don.” 100 % freshly fried tofu.

I went for one night stay in Esperance and wanted to try different eateries with my friend in town. Ordered lunch special Banh Mi Burger $23 + chips $4 and a beer, requested to cut burger into half as I want my friend to try as well. The lady taking my order asked if I need an extra plate coz I asked to cut my burger, I was like Wow !!! Very impressed with the service. After checked in to my hotel then I realised there is $1 charges for an extra plate. I honestly no idea they charge for that. I just want to laugh right now. Anyway, I believe kindness and generosity in service industry and I will never visit this kind of place ever again.

Tanker Jetty Beach in Esperance is a popular destination offering stunning views of the Southern Ocean. The beach is known for its calm and clear waters, making it perfect for swimming. The area surrounding the jetty features historical information, adding to its allure. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the long jetty, taking in the picturesque views. Wildlife sightings such as dolphins and sea lions are not uncommon, adding to the charm of this coastal spot.
Lovely walk out to the end of the jetty especially when it was almost sunset. Beautiful hues and views. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful walk along the jetty today, warm but a bit windy, and a fantastic view at the end. The big ships were waiting to be filled or emptied and the islands looked beautiful. Plenty of people were fishing and I had a chat to a couple of locals, very friendly. There are benches along the way and good info boards to let you know what happened and when.

Esperance is absolutely stunning—crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches, and a laid-back vibe. We walked out on Tanker Jetty and watched stingrays glide through the shallows—such a peaceful spot. The nearby beaches are some of the best in Australia. Can’t wait to go back.
R S — Google review
An excellent location for a morning stroll. We saw a pack of dolphins and a sea lion fishing in the morning. The trail features a collection of historical images, statistical data, as well as comprehensive information on various fish and animal species. A staircase leads downward to a platform located beneath the jetty's terminus. The efficacy of this platform was remarkable. The view of Esperance is just remarkable. In close proximity to the area, there are facilities such as Coffee Cat, restrooms, and seating arrangements. Despite the chilly weather, this charming location remains enjoyable to explore.

Ok, I like jetties. I might even go for a fish. It looks like lots of squid have been caught from here, ink all over it, nice and deep water, and have shelters at the end to get out of the wind and rain. Has been rebuilt at some stage due to the pylons being eaten out by bugs. Good for a look over the bay. Free

Good spot for great views out from Esperance and to look back at the town. We saw fish being caught by anglers. If you're lucky you may see some dolphins or seals
Phillip H — Google review
Tanker Jetty is a very underrated tourist attraction in Esperance. People will always talk about the fascinating beaches in the town. I agree they are undoubtedly, but this Jetty also deserves the attention. Right before the Jetty starts the landscape is made so beautiful with a small dose of history, which is worth reading. After that you can start a walk towards the Jetty, which is long and you can thoroughly enjoy the views. At the end you can go sit and relax, do fishing, or just let your eyes do exercise by looking as far as you can.

Breezy! Evidently a good place to fish judging by the number of locals there in the afternoon. The fully refurbished jetty has painted lines representing the original train tracks. Again with the ubiquitous coffee stall luckily we arrived at 2:10! They close at 2 pm. We are not coffee aficionados so didn’t care.

Nestled in a picturesque location, Esperance Beachfront Resort offers a serene escape with its breathtaking views of white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. As Budget accommodation goes this place has totally exceeded expectations. As for cleanliness the place is spotless. I emailed to say I was arriving late and was given comprehensive entry instructions and they had even left the rooms outside light on and the living room lights on for me. This little gem gives much more than the stars indicate. Extremely clean with great amenities and our unit had a shower hose. Wonderful!!! The la undry was fantastic and if you have children the lawn areas are great for them. 50 meters from the foreshore and this gives great views. Kitchen was terrific and again super clean. 2 day stay was great. Enter where the Budget sign is.

I was a bit hesitant when booking the hotel, however I was very pleasantly surprised. Don't let some of the pictures fool you - they are just not taken at good lighting. The villas are cosy, makes you feel right at home, rooms are exceptionally clean which is what I care most about, bed is comfortable, area is quiet. There are great facilities like laundry, BBQ area, chill green area and you are 10 steps away from the esplanade. We checked in after hours and it was a very easy process. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet the owners but I want to say a big thank you for having us, your place is wonderful 😊

The best value for money place I've stayed at while driving from Sydney to Perth. Strong Wi-Fi, excellent aircon/ heating, really comfortable beds & very spacious. Right across from the beach in an excellent location.

A little gem. Good parking and clean rooms. Again the cheapest room I could find. Lovely garden area and across from the beach. Friendly service. Next door is one of the best Thai restaurants I've come across .
Craig M — Google review
It was very quiet and well-equipped. Everything worked well and we enjoyed it. It was right across the street from the Esplanade and water. The manager was very helpful and co-operative. He had good suggestions on places to eat and the tourists sites. The Esplanade is very well done and would be fun for kids. I will admit that the interior kitchen and living room was dated but it was clean and comfortable and we would recommend. I was a little nervous if my wife would like it because of it from the photos but she really liked it.

Restaurant
Eljays Restaurant is a family-friendly dining spot in Esperance, Western Australia, offering a comfortable environment for visitors. The restaurant caters to different dietary preferences and ensures that everyone finds something satisfying on their menu. Guests can enjoy divine dishes such as melt-in-your-mouth pork belly served on creamy mash potato and well-balanced cocktails. The attentive staff adds to the overall dining experience, making it even more enjoyable.
Stunning, I preferred my husbands steak meal more than my linguine. His chips were lovely and hot and tasty. We had cold James Squires ginger beers. The service was brilliant, definately left a tip. The restaurant was probably the best place in town to eat and exceptional for a restaurant in a country town. It was very popular and there were lots of people in there and a pool for the hotel guests

Delicious meals in an unsuspecting place! Food was so good I went back for a second meal during my time in Esperance. Tried both the red snapper and lamb shank, both delicious! Friendly staff and good service!
Hilary C — Google review
Had a random stop here for dinner and it was one of the best meals we’ve had while road tripping the West Coast. The oysters were so fresh, seafood chowder was delicious, and lamb rack was one of the best lamb I’ve eaten. Lava cake was crispy on the outside and soft and fudgy on the inside. The service was also friendly and very nice! Highly recommend - we’re thinking to return just to eat the lamb again.

5-Star Dining Experience at Eljays Restaurant! I visited Eljays Restaurant on February 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM, and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service. The staff were professional, attentive, and responsive to every request, making our dine-in experience truly unforgettable. The food was outstanding! We ordered the Bruschetta, 300g Porterhouse Steak, and Chicken Parmesan, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The restaurant's atmosphere was clean, tidy, and welcoming. I firmly believe Eljays Restaurant is one of the best in Esperance for its style. What truly sets them apart, however, is the friendly and approachable staff. Their warm smiles and enthusiasm made a significant difference to our overall experience. Highly recommended! 02 FEB 2023 Enjoyed the Chicken Parmigiana ($35 AUD), which was reasonably good, delicious, and well-presented. The staff were friendly and respectful. 02 FEB 2024 18:48 Another great experience! The food was delicious, and the value was excellent. The staff were professional, friendly, and communicated effectively. The atmosphere was lovely, and the dishes were well-garnished. We had the Bruschetta, a Bowl of Chips, and Chicken Parmigiana. Looking forward to returning next time I'm in Esperance.

Best Parmi in South West. Best Cocktails 🍸. Super Friendly Staff, Funny A+ Service. Recommend to everyone 👍
Reece M — Google review
It was a nice dinner. Quick service. Chicken parmigiana was tasty and generous. The seafood chowder was nice but there wasn't enough meat in it considering it was a main meal that cost $39. Kids chicken tenders weren't that tender, my son said it is crispy chicken was a lil bit hard and dry. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Overall we had a good time. Spacious inside and not crowded for Saturday night.
Lea L — Google review
The food here is divine, the pork belly is melt in your mouth on a bed of creamy mash potato. The cocktails are well balanced but the best part of our experience was the service, we were served by one lady who only works there part time and another who is normally on reception and had been called in to help. Both of these ladies were lovely and made the experience all that much better. Hats off to the head chef who joined us for a drink at the bar after the kitchen closed
Amanda B — Google review
My husband and I just had a delicious 3 course meal at Eljays. High quality food and excellent service. We recommend all courses we ordered: entrees were pan fried squid and seafood chowder, mains were rack of lamb and duck, desserts were creme brulee and panna cotta. Absolutely delicious. The cocktail was great too.

With an abundance of choices, visitors can easily devote an entire day to shopping in Esperance. The town offers a diverse range of shops where one can indulge in a delightful retail experience. While exploring the area, stumbled upon Tanias shop—what a fortunate encounter! Not only did they procure fabulous boots and beach gear, but Tania also kindly provided insights into the must-see attractions of the town.
Wonderful artworks. Perfect for memories and gifts. Best photos and towels. I’ve been in both visits to Esperance. Highly recommend!

Quite simple amazing. The service from both owners is always spectacular. Always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. I’ll never forget the time they was closed early on a Sunday and the husband actually drove down to the shop to open up so we could have a browse. They’re guaranteed to have something in here for everything. This is a must check out when in esperance

Awesome shop. Excellent service, thankyou Tania and Andrew. Spent a small fortune but well worth it. So much to choose from. Love the pictures we got done on our caravan cupboard doors. Looks amazing 😍

OMG!! The ultimate one-stop shop for amazing handmade merch! Tania and her partner have created such a beautiful space filled with a huge variety of unique, quality products – all crafted with love. I've never come across such warmth, generosity, and trust in a business before. We're currently renting an RV and staying at the RAC Caravan Park, and Tania went above and beyond – even lending us her car so we could truly explore everything Esperance has to offer. That kind of kindness is rare and unforgettable! If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and drop into Tania's shop – it's an absolute gem! Highly recommend!

Great lookout. They also have this beautiful steep wooden staircase that takes you all the way down to the beach. The scenery is amazing. Make sure to stop over the side of the where there’s space to park on the way there. Very good view points along this stretch of road.

The Coffee Cat is a popular spot known for its relaxed atmosphere and modern Australian cuisine. It's a great place for parents to enjoy their coffee while keeping an eye on their kids playing nearby. The cafe takes its coffee seriously, offering a variety of options including chai lattes and kids' drinks. Visitors praise the excellent customer service and the fantastic location by the town jetty.
Good coffee, friendly service and great environment. You can grab a coffee and just sit by the beach and enjoy the view. I thought it was a good idea to print on the coffee cup "Help us keep Esperance beautiful", such a nice and gentle way to communicate disposing of the cup.

After trying a number of locations in Esperance, there is no where else in town that has been as consistently awesome from a coffee point of view. Staff were efficient and friendly, even with a huge queue of people we never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Our favourite coffee in town, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Cake shop
Esperance French Hot Bread Shop is a popular spot known for its delectable baked goods, including steak pies and veggie Cornish pasties. It's a great place for breakfast and lunch, offering a wide variety of choices such as fresh bread, hot pies, and hearty wraps. The shop provides friendly service and is highly recommended for those looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in Esperance.
Really good selection of food. There was sushi, pies, hot chips, fresh chicken rolls, bakery sweets ect. It’s a really good place to stop for lunch or your morning bread. Also the staff were super friendly and the tables were clean.
Kelly K — Google review
**Review for Esperance French Hot Bread** I recently visited Esperance French Hot Bread and tried a variety of items, including a steak and cheese pie, a steak, cheese, and tomato pie, two chicken teriyaki dishes with egg fried rice, and a fruit tart. While the service was impeccable and much appreciated, the food experience was a mixed bag. The steak and cheese pie was medium in flavor, lacking in both steak and cheese, with an overabundance of gravy. The steak, cheese, and tomato pie was even more disappointing, with a dry crust and minimal filling, mostly gravy with only a few pieces of steak and no cheese. On a positive note, the chicken teriyaki had a nice balance of sweetness and a generous amount of chicken meat, and the fried rice was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the fruit tart fell short of expectations both in flavor and overall appeal. Despite the good presentation of the items, the uneven quality leads me to give Esperance French Hot Bread an overall rating of 3 stars.
Alicia H — Google review
One of the better bakery Cafe where they make everything themselves. Fantastic range of pie flavours, bahn mi rolls, cakes, coffee and quick service highly recommended
Andrew H — Google review
There's everything we need for breakfast. Lots of choices from different varieties of pies, croissants, bread, sweets, hot and cold drinks and Asian foods too! Clean and friendly staff. Nice to have a morning walk to get some yummy food. Simple but convenient locally owned. The taste was delish! We'll definitely be back again ❤️😊
Lea L — Google review
Been in there heaps of times and for the second time the pies are not even warm. Rang them up told them about the legal requirement of 60 degrees for hot food. 'We know.' Implicitly told them I'd sue if the cold $7.30 rip-off pie made me sick.
Graham P — Google review
Food: Many varieties of pies, breads and cakes. Taste is average, nothing to comment about. Prices: Reasonable. Seating: There are some seats, not many inside the bakery. One of the places that opens early in the morning, with many people buying loafs of bread as it is cheaper than other places.
Panna M — Google review
Combination bakery and Chinese takeaway with preprepared sweet and sour pork etc. $5.30 for a steak and cheese pie, very salty but pretty good. Potato top pie was great. Steak bacon and egg pie not solid like a quiche, but more like a mince pie with an egg cracked on top. Still delicious! Excellent fresh crusty bread rolls, highly recommend. Croissants huge, but not buttery enough. Super friendly staff :)
Yan — Google review
Definitely a place to stop by for pies and cakes before heading out to the beaches. My favorite would be the satay chicken sticks, don’t ask me why but they are addictive. Pies are delicious especially the potato steak pies. The custard puffs are nice too. Don’t expect the best of service though.

Takeout Restaurant
Out of the Blue Esperance is a popular eatery in Esperance with a friendly and helpful staff. The place offers an awesome selection of food, including delicious Carbonara and spaghetti. The portions are great, and the prices are reasonable. Visitors can see the fresh food being prepared in the open kitchen. The family-owned restaurant takes pride in their work, serving some of the best pizza, pasta, and fish and chips in town.
Incredible food, top-notch service, and a super friendly staff. Every bite was perfect, and the atmosphere was so inviting. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. Will definitely be coming back! The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly and made all the customers feel valued.

Family owned business. Ordered fish & chips and twilight margarita both were above average. The fish was crunchy and just yum. Pizza dough was perfect, thin also crunchy. However the tomato sauce was a bit overpowering for me! Probably it’s okay for other! Highly recommended if you’re in Esperance
Ausama G — Google review
Just had the worst fish and chips in wa if this is rated as one of esperance best fish and chips it must be rigged we ended up chucking it on the bin the shop couldn't tell us what fish it was and all that was available was that one type of fish no options $16 down the drain You would be better off buying frozen fish and chips from IGA Highly recommend to give this so called fish and chip shop a miss if there was a minus score I'd give it

Really cool staff, they all appeared happy to be there and that showed in the great service. They also make fresh bubble tea, which was delicious. It's an easy place to get to and plenty of parking. There were a lot of people waiting for orders, which says a lot about the popularity of the place. See you next time!

The pizza I had tonight did not have a very good cover of topping. Had the Out of the Blue Supreme. Saw the post that showed a very good looking Pizza. Looks like someone puts more topping on than the person that made mine. Pizza makers should all be on the same pages, don't skimp.

....What a disappointment. I've worked in hospo and I understand mistakes happen and things don't always work out in customer service, so I'm a very understanding person, but my experience here had me trembling with anger. I should've looked at the LATEST reviews instead of overall reviews (change in management maybe?). I was told my order would take 20-25mins but it ended up waiting an HOUR. I repeatedly checked in to see how my order was going and the front of house service was young and anxious and had no experience how to handle customers appropriately. Instead of keeping me informed saying "Hey, I'm sorry, the fish is taking longer than expected. Can you come back in an hour?" They just chose to ignore me and hope I would continue to sit patiently for over double the amount of time. Ridiculous. After waiting for AGES, the food wasn't even fresh or hot or any good. Wasted my time and money.
PN H — Google review
Had a very nice meal here. Pizza was great, crust, cheese and toppings worked well together. Meat ball pasta was delicious too. Fried chicken wings were not bad. I'd order the pizza and pasta again for sure. 2 cans of coke was $7.90 which was a bit pricey imo.
Michael K — Google review
Enjoyed the food. Massive pasta for $21. Paid extra for chicken but not much through the pasta. The Supreme pizza had plenty of flavour but light on topping for $27. Overall would still go back again.
