Shopping mall
Shopping
Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is a massive retail destination located in the heart of the Gold Coast, near Jupiter's Hotel and Casino. It features an extensive range of brand-name department stores, boutiques, services, and dining options. The center also includes Australia's first purpose-built outlet shopping precinct within a major regional shopping center. Visitors can find great bargains from renowned brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Nike, and more.
One of the most beautiful shopping malls in Gold Coast. It offers a great variety of stores, including well-known brands, and a large food court. Easy access and plenty of parking. It also has a lovely outdoor area. I highly recommend it!
Aldana — Google review
Such a fun shopping centre. Very pretty and has lots of shops to explore. There is a good variety of shops inside and the food court has great food. The atmosphere is great and the security is always walking around making sure everyone is safe. There is a valet parking with cool cars.
Ambie 1 — Google review
What an amazing shopping centre on the Gold Coast. Everything and more for all ages. A food court to suit all tastes. Wish the UK had the vision to create this in all cities. If you haven't already visited then do so.
Melanie — Google review
This is the most extensive shopping centre in Gold Coast that you might even get lost and your feet could also get sore. Therefore, if you visit here for the first time, I highly recommend you search for their centre map and screenshot it and see it whenever you are not certain. Despite all of that, this place is definitely a must see for tourists because of its spectacular architecture and diversity of shops and restaurants. Even the residents who live in Gold Coast such as my grandparents come here on a daily basis. The outdoor area in the core, which is accessible from the front entrance (Hooker Blvd), is just mesmerising and magnificent to see, especially in sunny days with blue sky. There are 2 different food courts, one is just food court (Northeast, which is near the tram station), and the other is The Patio (south end of the outdoor area), and both of them are on first floor. Moreover, there are like all kinds of local chain supermarkets and department stores except for Aldi. If you are looking for rarer Apple products or accessories, JB Hi-Fi is probably the best option because there isn’t Apple Store here. The only Apple Store in Gold Coast is in Robina Town Centre. In terms of transportation, the parking lots are quite sufficient even on the roof floor. The best option for travellers is to take G Link tram to Broadbeach South (South terminal station as of 2025), get off, walk for a moment, and you can see the PF.
Porex P — Google review
Amazing architecture. You wouldn't believe it's a mall. It was like a resort style. A massive mall with heaps of high-ends luxury stores. When you get tired you can just sit or lay on the sun bed and relax. A lovely place to visit, look around and shop.
Jellie M — Google review
This shopping centre is spread out and makes for an enjoyable experience shopping here. Quite relaxing and stress free. Many shops to choose from to satisfy all. Allow plenty of time to see it all and to enjoy a bite to eat & drink. Plenty of parking spaces for those who have a car, & an easy walk from Broadbeach. Well worth visiting Pacific Fair.
Debbie S — Google review
The Gold Coast’s best known shopping mall, located near the beach and tram station in Broadbeach. Featuring a huge selection of stores from Target to Tiffany, Kmart to Kool Kids. Choose your adventure, with Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Dior, Chanel, Tiffany, Keihls, Omega, Rolex, TAG Heuer, Urbbana, Saint Laurent, Zara, RM Williams, David Jones, H&M, Uniqlo, JD Sport, Johnny Bigg and Elite Eleven. and many more. Drop in to local favourite The Coffee Club or Soul Origin. Too many stores for one list. // Enjoy two family friendly food courts for budget dining, or an extravagant restaurant. Get fit at one of three gyms. Go people watching by the cafe or the resort waterway sun beds. Do your grocery shopping at Coles or Woolworths, alongside independent fruit shops, butchers, and supporting retailers. Stay cool in the air conditioning or venture outdoors to the sunshine. Multilevel basement and above ground parking, a bus station on site, and a short walk to the tram station/ light rail.
Zynan Z — Google review
It is a beautiful place to visit My family and I enjoyed visiting this place The open space is fabulous and the shop ranges are also great One the best highlight of this place is the availability of multiple resting areas for the shoppers. The overall design and structure of the shopping centre is quite pleasant. Will happily visit this place again and again

This long-running cabaret provides an evening of humor, song, dance, acrobatics, burlesque, and stand-up comedy. I took a solo trip here for my birthday about a year ago. I paid for the VIP package. I had no idea what i was in store for. Once you enter the castle you will be ushered into a show room that sets the mood for the night and gives you the story of the castle. Then you move on to an actual dark ride, which i rode alone and got a really good scare on. None of this stuff did I expect at all. When you get off the ride you are now at the lounge and you can order drinks and chill for a bit before the show starts. The lounfe is heavily decorated, so look around everywhere. VIP seating for the show was great and the view was nice. I was in the balcony. My server was awesome and my food and drinks were good and came to me promptly. I had things guaranteed with my ticket, but ordered more stuff. The show itself was high energy, crude, sexy, funny, and unlike anything I had seen before. This was a great night out and I would go back anytime I wanted to take someone out for a fun night.

What a night. The atmosphere is set pretty much as you get there. The staff, entertaining you as you wait. All so very friendly. I know I got there extremely early, but the wait didn’t feel long at all. The ghost train ruled. The drinks ruled. Our lovely hostess Buttons RULED! Looking after me and my dietary requirements. The food was fantastic. As was the show. A show I highly recommend going to
Athena B — Google review
An amazing experience! I went there on my birthday on Wednesday the 8th of October and it was incredible! The performers were next level and especially loved the singers and the band! My host was great as well and nothing was an issue for him. The food was to die for (maybe that's the point? 😉) And Amber you blew the house away with your amazing voice! Come to Dracula's it may or may not break the bank (blood bank that is 🩸🩸🩸) 😀🧛‍♂️

I came along without really knowing what it was or what to expect and my friends didn’t either ( oopsi), so it was a full discovery for us. Honestly, it turned out to be one of my favourite experience here! (If I’d known how great it’d be, I would’ve grabbed way more souvenirs to take back to France 😭). From start to finish, I’ve got nothing bad to say ! The vibe was awesome, the food ( just the gnocchi wasn't really my thing, but to be honest I can't judge it...I've never being into it anyway ) drinks were tasty, the show was captivating, the performers and musicians were seriously talented and the staff were just so lovely and genuinely into what they were doing . ( I’ve done my time as a waitress, and I would’ve bloody loved working in a place like that ) P.S. Huge thanks to you, Morg! 💜

Had a blast. Compliments everywhere and everyone looked great. Well worth the price and experience. The venue was beautifully creepy🫦 yummy food and the performance made us smile from ear to ear. Everything was straight forward and I wish I had stayed a little longer at the bar to meet the casts and band! Oooo the ghost train is fun!!!! Drinks a worth it and they look cool hah x

Went into it not knowing what to expect but the whole experience was awesome! It was atmospheric, fun, sexy, a bit ranchy and the actors/servers were amazing. The show was also very good. 10/10 recommend going and experiencing Draulas!

We had an amazing night at draculas. The food was great, the service was fantastic and the blood bags and skull bowls were a fun and exciting touch. The show and performances were so incredible. From the moment we lined up outside our fun and excitement began. Special shout out to the vamp in our photos who stayed in character, scaring the crap out of us for most of the night in the most unexpected ways, really made our night exciting. Also special shout out to our vamp waitress Scorpio, you were amazing also. Thank you so much for a great night out 🫶

Kia Ora from New Zealand Seven of us attended the Wednesday night show and were fortunate to be seated at the front of the stage. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire show and left feeling excited about the performances and performers. One thing I would like to say is maybe the VIP seating should be somewhere where you can actually see the acts From eye level rather than having to put your head up And only seeing the bottom of the Performers acts But other than that it was absolutely fantastic. Thank you we will return again went back in Australia x

Surf lifesaving club
Nestled along the stunning coastline of Burleigh Heads, the North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club is a must-visit destination for both locals and travelers. This historical club not only offers a fantastic spot to soak in breathtaking views but also serves up delicious food and refreshing drinks at its beachfront kiosk. Whether you're looking to enjoy a casual meal or unwind with friends at the Rangirangdoo Sports Bar, this venue provides an inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxation after a day spent on the beach.
North Burleigh Surf Club – A Must-Visit for Great Food & Friendly Service During our recent stay nearby, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at North Burleigh Surf Club on both Wednesday and Thursday night, and I can confidently say this club is a hidden gem for locals and visitors alike. Wednesday – Steak Night: For an unbeatable $15.50 members’ price, we enjoyed a 200g rump steak, served with crispy chips, fresh salad, and our choice of sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. Thursday – Chicken Schnitzel Special: Thursday’s special featured a golden-crusted chicken schnitzel, served with chips and salad, all for a reasonable $17.50 members’ price. A hearty, satisfying meal that didn’t disappoint. What made both nights even more enjoyable was the exceptional service. Despite the club being fully booked, Joel went out of his way to find us a table and quickly cleared it for us. His attentiveness and dedication did not go unnoticed. Danielle at the cashier was also a standout—polite, helpful, and efficient. The newly renovated bar area looks fantastic, giving the space a fresh, modern feel while still maintaining the club’s welcoming atmosphere. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, making access super convenient for members and visitors. With such an affordable membership at just $5 per year, this club offers incredible value, delicious food, and a friendly environment. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. We’ll certainly be back next time we visit!

North Burleigh RSL is a fantastic spot located right next to the Miami beach, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy the coastal vibe. The atmosphere is lively, with a crowd that clearly loves this venue. I had the classic schnitzel, and it didn’t disappoint! The meat was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy—with a wonderfully crispy coating. The chips were beautifully cooked, but the mushroom sauce could use a bit more flavor. Service was quick and consistent, which made the experience even better. There's also a café attached to the pub that serves excellent coffee and delightful pastries during the day. Overall, it's a great place to visit for a meal or just to relax with a coffee and pastry by the beach. Highly recommend!
Jeneafer Y — Google review
You order and pay for the foods at the counter near the front door and drinks at the bar saying HARD FIZZ, which does also sell soft drinks like Coke, and Lemonade ($5) etc. 250g Rump ($32.5): It’s served with chips, salad, and choose a sauce and doneness for your steak. Medium well is quite tender and delicious for rump steak but might also be a little overcooked since there could be bitter burnt crisps. On the other hand, dipping the steak into the pepper sauce or salt is even tastier. The chips are well-seasoned, salty, relatively crispy, and flat. To sum up, the beachfront view out there is clear and beautiful but not as spectacular as in Burleigh Heads. The service speed and attitude are both great but the mobile phone reception is poor and there are flies flying around, which is kinda disturbing but I believe it can be improved. The prices are also reasonable for its portions of foods. You can come here by G link tram to Broadbeach South, transfer for 700 or 777 bus to get off at Christine Ave, and walk for a few minutes. Overall, it’s a 8.5 out of 10!

Guys you need to change chef!! We have been coming here for years and the last few times the food has been shocking. Schnitzel was frozen and watery. Mouthful of water every bite! Sauces were so watered down! Steak was chewy! Great venue great atmosphere terrible food! Come on guys the food use to be amazing!!!
DEB P — Google review
The meals received are not as written on the menu. Apparently there is a new Chef. The Spicy S&P calamari comes with a mixed leaf salad with a vinaigrette dressing not Wombok salad with Asian dressing. The kids platter is supposed to be gluten free but comes with chips and marinated chicken, but missing the fruit & veg. The food is cooked fine, they just go a bit rouge so you don’t know what you are going to get. Apparently there is a new chef, he definitely needs to take some time to learn the menu or change the menu to reflect what you are going to get. The last 2 weeks in a row we have received the wrong ingredients.

We had a drink here on Sunday afternoon. What a great people watching spot! We got a table right on the deck upstairs. Love that they serve prosecco in piccolo bottles - no flat bubbles here! Definitely a great spot and we'll be back!
Candice M — Google review
Very disappointed with the experience at North Burleigh this time! Have been going to this venue for years and always enjoyed the food. This time was far from what we would have expected! On arrival I had to get bar staff to clean down a recently vacated table. That’s fine but the look from the staff member was as if I was inconveniencing her day! The adjacent table had 2 meals partly eaten and left there. With the beef burger only having several mouthfuls taken from it with the remainder left behind, warning signs I think! Any way five people in our group all ordered together 2 X Tacos and 2 X Burgers and 1 Calamari with Wombok salad with crispy noodles. The Tacos and Burgers turned up within 20 minutes of ordering. 20 minutes later still no Calamari salad. Questioned wait staff about this and then about 10 minutes later the meal finally turns up. But the salad was not Wombok and the noodles were far from crispy! The salad was mixed lettuce salad and I’m not sure what happened to the noodles but but they were tough and dry and inedible! Wait staff were informed and offered to replace the meal. But considering the rest of the group had already finished their meals I decided to eat the Calamari and some of the salad rather than wait for another half an hour not knowing what quality of meal I would receive. Wait staff were understanding and said that I would receive a refund on my meal which was probably the best outcome. Have been a member here now for about 5 years and unfortunately will not be returning as have found other venues close by that offer a far better experience. Edit: the upgrade of the Club is magnificent and the food is impressive! Glad we decided to go back 😉😋 couldn’t fault the meals we ordered and large portions!

We had father's day lunch at Sandfire...upstairs...we had amazing views of the beach....they even turned on an amazing whale watching experience. Sarah, the restaurant manager, was amazing. A real asset to the business...she knew the menu, she knew local info, she made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. 10/10 would recommend great food, fabulous service, utterly beautiful views Can't wait to try the new season menu.

Paddock Bakery, located in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Miami, is a popular spot known for its wood-fired sourdough and delectable breakfast and lunch options. The stylish weatherboard space with a leafy garden has quickly gained a loyal following and has become a Gold Coast institution.
Really nice creme brulee donut and Almond croissant. The sausage roll was also amazing. Nice garden styled Backery/cafe. The meals were quick despite the place was full. The ordering speed was fast, didn't wait long even it was a long queue. And finally, the staff and coffee were above the average. The table we shard with had a local couple seated, ordered the same food as us and they introduced us some good spots to visit.

Really nice place! Sometimes we don’t come here because it’s always so busy, but we went again this Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded. The service was fast, even though there was a line to order, it moved quickly. Staff were friendly and super attentive, constantly cleaning tables, and one even helped us find a table a bit away from other dogs (we were there with three!). The coffee was great, and oh my gosh — the danish with ice cream, pistachio and Nutella was amazing! Absolutely loved it.

Had the most amazing experience here. Busy but not crowded as there are lots of spaces to sit. They have streamlined it so it is efficient, pre made juices and ordering is quick. We didn't have to wait long to be delivered the best breakfast I've had out...ever! Highly recommend the toad in a hole, I was sceptical about the additional of sambal sauce but it absolutely elevates it, along with goats cheese too!! The whole table were happy with their meals and juices were delicious too. Can't wait to go back!

We got the Mushrooms and Acai Bowl and they were awesome. Mushroom was juicy, flavorful and acai was so fresh! The caramel cookie milkshake was so loaded and thick, exactly like how I want it to be! My friend got the banana smoothie and he loved it as well! Can’t say how much I love this place! The atmosphere, the food and quick service! I have been here several times and they never failed me!

A fantastic, trendy yet comfortable spot for coffee and brunch. Grab a seat among the trees and let the lovely staff take care of the rest. The bacon Benedict bagel was delicious as was the coffee. They had a great range of pastries which we were too full to try! Next time.

Lovely outdoor setting with plenty of tables and a really nice ambience – especially on a beautiful winter’s day. Visited on a Monday mid-morning and it wasn’t too busy, managed to find an off-street carpark about 10 or so. Ordered a coffee, iced mocha, jam doughnut and cinnamon scroll – all were delicious. Roughly $30 all up. The only downside was the toilets, which were quite dirty. Otherwise, a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks.
Mark H — Google review
Out of all the cafés I’ve tried, this one truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm, fast, and incredibly efficient – perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing break. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but it’s the bread that really stole the show – perfectly fluffy on the inside, with that crisp, golden crunch on the outside. You can tell it’s baked fresh and made with care. The coffee here also deserves a shout-out: bold, smooth, and beautifully made. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality more than justifies it. The place is popular for good reason, so it can get quite busy – especially on weekends – but the lively atmosphere just adds to its charm. Despite the crowds, I’d happily come back again. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this café is well worth a spot on your must-try list.
Yoshy Y — Google review
I’m just in LOVE with this place. The venue and garden make you nearly feel like you’ve escaped to the countryside far away from stress. If you avoid peak hours (it does get very busy), grab a book, find a quiet spot and you’ll never want to leave. It’s so peaceful. I’m vegan, and even though there aren’t many vegan options, I’m really satisfied with what’s available. The vegan XO mushrooms meal is exquisite! The textures and flavors are just perfect, honestly. The vegan macadamia slice is my guilty pleasure.. Oupsi 👀

Good yum cha at Broadbeach. Will come back. The beef tripe was particularly delicious but I forgot to take a photo. The only thing is that it doesn’t look like a traditional yum cha place. There are no food carts and the teapot is western.

Had a quick lunch at Yum Cha Pacific Fair! The food was absolutely delicious. The honey chicken perfectly suits my tastebuds—not too sweet. The stir-fried noodles were a highlight—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning and a nice touch of fresh vegetables. I got food poisoning! I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel I should in this case. Came here last night, the staff here were very sweet and welcoming, but unfortunately I ended up with food poisoning after ordering the crab and corn soup along with the prawn and pork dumplings. These were the only dishes I had that my family didn’t, and I was very sick afterwards. I shouldn’t be getting sick from the food being served. It’s really put me off returning. On top of that, the prices are too high for what you actually get, so overall I can’t recommend this place despite the lovely staff.

Hakataya Ramen

4.3

Japanese restaurant
Hakataya Ramen is a cozy spot located at Shop 26/3131 Gold Coast Hwy, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. The restaurant offers a variety of ramen dishes such as Nagahama ramen and Tonmeshi, both praised for their gentle light Tonkotsu soup, perfectly cooked noodles, and tasty pork slices.
One of the best ramen spots on the Gold Coast! The broth is rich and full of flavor, and the noodles have the perfect texture. The staff are friendly, service is quick, and the free extra noodles are a great bonus. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Japanese ramen!

The best ramen I've had in Gold Coast! The Miso Spicy Men is just $18.50 but the portion is generous, especially when you can add extra ramen for most of the time! The soup’s spiciness is just right, it is spicy but is still in your acceptable range, and the pork and seaweed are fresh. Everything together is a perfect match! Well done!

⭐️ Parents, think twice before bringing your kids here. We went as four adults with a 2-year-old toddler, hoping for a simple meal, and it turned into one of the most stressful experiences ever. First, we were told we couldn’t sit until we ordered — imagine trying to hold a wriggly toddler and being told “no seats” while figuring out the restaurant. Even worse, we had finally sat down, and the staff asked us to leave. It felt outright insulting. Their English is very poor, so we could barely understand the confusing rules. The seating system makes zero sense: adults were shuffled to the low kiddie tables, while the toddler area we actually needed was off-limits. No high chair, no assistance, no flexibility — completely unhelpful for families. In the end, we had to sit in the food court area, with meals served in cheap takeaway boxes. It even felt like the portions had been reduced, probably to save money. A meal that should have been relaxed and family-friendly turned into stressful, exhausting, and humiliating. ❌ Baby/toddler unfriendly ❌ Poor communication ❌ Illogical seating ❌ Not worth your money If you’ve got kids, just don’t come here.

I think we were served by the manager? Can’t be sure because we didn’t ask but she was lovely, I was about to use a tissue to cover my shirt and she handed me the bib/apron (I was wearing white on white 🤣 and eating spicy), mid rush they were very busy, even so the food came out very quickly and without any loss of quality ❤️ did not disappoint, will be back next time I’m craving ramen 🤤

I had the spicy miso-men - very friendly staff, the place was busy for lunch on Saturday - they gave me a very tasty pickle. Really enjoyed my meal! Perfect portion size for me - recommend them!

Always delicious Ramen with a very friendly and caring staff especially Harumi who sends out dishes fast, fresh and always with a smile. I bring my 5 year old here after dance each Saturday and she loves the extra free bowl of noodles I get with my Ramen. She will now only eat with chopsticks here. This is my favorite place to dine at Pacific Fair. They even do takeout if you are in a hurry. Definitely stop in for a delicious Ramen and Dumplings meal when next at Pacific Fair Broadbeach.

Cafe
Common Ground, located at 2/2 Hibiscus Haven in Burleigh Heads, has become a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. With its refreshing juices, almond iced lattes, and delectable acai bowls served in coconut shells, it's the perfect place to start your day. The outdoor seating area provides ample space to relax with friends and even furry companions. The cafe exudes a charming ambiance with exposed wood decor and vibrant greenery.
Went here last month at the end of our Holiday, service and food exceptional. Servings extremely generous and the gentleman out the back went above and beyond to look after us. We even got free doughnuts!!
Chris M — Google review
Standard mushrooms, couldn’t taste the truffle, poached eggs were cooked, bread wasn’t toasted (soggy& hard), in-house smoked salmon was dry & bit tasteless. Coffee tasted slightly burnt. Other dishes: - halloumi chicken burger felt healthy - unicorn pancake too sweet Service was okay. Great location tucked in a bush in between 2 popular cafes (Paddock & Palm Springs). Overall decent but wished they improved on the flavor profile for each meal.

Really enjoyed our breakfast at Common Ground. The cafe was very quiet on the Saturday morning. Down the road at Paddock was super busy but we honestly found the food to be better here at Common Ground. The staff were very friendly and the chef was engaging with us directly. The food was good and service was quick. Would highly recommend giving Common Ground a try

I’ve been here a hand full of times but no where near as frequently as this place deserves! The food is always on point, and I think the pricing is really affordable for the quality you’re getting! Went for a coffee and breakfast, got given a little cinnamon donut with my coffee for free, and the cook came out and double checked I didn’t want any extras with my meal (free of charge since I’d already paid). Super generous and great service, the space is beautiful as well, light and airy and open.

Common Grounds is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and stylish escape from the Gold Coast hustle. If you're looking for a cafe with a serene and quiet atmosphere, this is your spot. The cafe has a modern rustic theme that is both charming and calming, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. What truly makes Common Grounds special is its exceptional coffee and delightful touches. The extra strong flat white with skinny milk was absolutely stupendous, but the real star of the show was the tiny doughnut on top of the coffee. This cute little twist brought so much joy, and eating it in one bite was a delightful moment. The staff is lovely and the vibe is welcoming, making you feel right at home. It's the kind of place you almost don't want to tell people about so it can stay your little secret. 🤫 If you're a coffee lover looking for a cozy spot with an adorable surprise, you must try Common Grounds. It's an absolute must-visit! Check out my insta alexa.janoschka for more coffee fun and adventures ☕️

Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill is a modern steak restaurant with a stunning interior featuring natural stone finishes, sleek organic curves, and state-of-the-art lighting. It's an ideal spot for various occasions, whether it's a date night, girl's night out, or dinner with friends. The restaurant offers an extensive list of wines and signature steaks cooked over coal and wood for maximum flavor.
the best choice for our anniversary dinner. we had heard only good things about moo moo and finally decided to make a booking, and it definitely won’t be the last time! my partner is a chef at a fine dining restaurant so he can be a little hard to please, but he enjoyed every bite. the atmosphere was beautiful, music at the perfect volume so one doesn’t have to shout to have a conversation, and the service was quite good. extensive wine and spirits list, which was much appreciated. also loved the open kitchen and the touch of previous chefs adding their knives to the wall inside. i’ll definitely return and bring family along for the experience next time.
Juno S — Google review
We had dinner at Moo Moo Restaurant as a group of seven on Wednesday night. This beautiful steakhouse is conveniently located by the park, offering seating areas both inside and outside, as well as at the bar where you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the bar menu. We started with a few appetisers to share, followed by our main courses and side dishes. For mains, we ordered various types of steaks, while I opted for the Coral Trout. Unfortunately, I didn’t particularly enjoy the texture of the fish; it was a bit rubbery and slightly undercooked inside. However, it was served with rich and flavorful mashed potatoes. The scallops and calamari fritti were delicious, as well as the Bang Bang duck and grilled prawns. The steaks were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, with no complaints. The wine list is outstanding, offering plenty of options to choose from, and the glassware is beautiful. Our waiter was engaging, proactive, and knowledgeable, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The atmosphere was both inviting and energetic, featuring dimmed lighting and an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. It does get reasonably loud, but it’s still easy to have a conversation at the table. I would definitely recommend Moo Moo for lunch, dinner, or drinks at the bar—it's a fantastic venue in Broadbeach. Thank you. May 2025

This was my first time trying the Broadbeach location and it was really good. Service was outstanding. Scallops were tasty. Steak was cooked perfectly. Flavour of the Mac and cheese was good although the bacon in it was chewy and raw so l'd avoid that.

We visited Moo Moo recently and honestly found it a bit underwhelming for the price and reputation. We started with the Stone Baked Potato Bread , nice presentation but nothing special. The Bone Marrow Croquettes were the standout of the night, really tasty with the black garlic and smoked eggplant. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes didn’t quite hit the mark. The Truffle Fries were way too salty, and the Tempura Onion Rings were doughy and lacked seasoning (though the pickled garlic toum that came with it was great). The Leaf Salad with ricotta and pear was just okay. For mains, we ordered two steaks: the F1 Wagyu Rostbiff (MB6+) and the Little Joe’s T-Bone (MB4+). Both were decent in flavour but had no char or crust they felt more like pub steaks than what you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse. The T-bone, in particular, was tough and hard to cut. Drinks were fine, and the complimentary steak tartare was surprisingly good probably one of the better things we had. Sauces that came with the steaks were also pretty average. Overall, a nice venue but the food didn’t live up to the hype. For the price, we expected a much better experience and some real grill flavour on the steaks.
Naif F — Google review
What an amazing experience I had here. I absolutely loved it. The food was top tier and the service was exceptional. The waitstaff explained the steak options in detail, which made choosing a lot more interesting and much easier. What I ordered: F4 Wagyu Rib/Scotch Fillet MB 8–9+ (H) Rib on Bone (OP Rib) MB 3+ (H) Fries, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed greens, and crème brûlée. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. I genuinely can’t wait to come back. If you’re on the Gold Coast, this is definitely a must visit spot. Easy 10/10! 🖤

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely love dining at Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill Broadbeach – they never disappoint! The service is always exceptional, and the staff go above and beyond to make every visit special. We came here to celebrate a birthday, and the team made it such a memorable night with their thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality. The food was absolutely divine – fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The prawns were full of flavour, the sides were spot on (crispy potatoes, onion rings, and perfectly cooked greens), and the cocktails were fantastic. But the real highlight was the rib eye on the bone – perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavour. Compliments to the chef for an incredible meal! We finished with the most delicious dessert, and the personalised birthday plate was such a lovely gesture. It really made the celebration feel extra special. Moo Moo’s is truly one of the best dining experiences on the Gold Coast. From start to finish, everything was faultless. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to return!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every year, I find myself drawn back to Moo Moo in Broadbeach to celebrate my birthday — it’s become more than a tradition, it’s a ritual of gratitude. There’s something magnetic about this place — the way the night hums with warmth, laughter, and the gentle glow of candlelight dancing across the plates. The food isn’t just cooked; it’s crafted with passion. Every bite feels like art, every moment soaked in celebration. Moo Moo captures the spirit of the Gold Coast — elegant, soulful, and unforgettable. 🌹🔥🥂

My dining experience at Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill was a mixed bag, with some definite highs and lows. The absolute standout of the night was the MB9 ribeye wagyu. It was an incredible cut of beef that genuinely melted in my mouth, bursting with rich, succulent flavor. It was cooked perfectly and was everything you'd want from a premium steak. The mac and cheese was another highlight. It was rich, creamy, and a truly satisfying side dish that complemented the main courses well. Unfortunately, the other dishes we tried didn't quite hit the mark. The pork belly was disappointingly dry, lacking the juicy, tender texture and though it had a crispy crackling. The beef rib, while a decent piece of meat, lacked a distinct flair or flavor that would make it memorable. It was a bit forgettable compared to the spectacular wagyu. Also the 45 minute wait for food was a bit much for me. Overall, Moo Moo is a must-visit for steak lovers, especially for their top-tier wagyu, which lives up to its reputation.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a popular Australian wildlife adventure located on over 25 hectares of natural eucalypt and rainforest. The sanctuary offers a chance to interact with native birds, marsupials, and reptiles, including hand-feeding wild lorikeets and kangaroos. Visitors can also walk a wombat, meet a dingo, or cuddle a koala.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is truly a paradise for animal lovers. Everything about this place feels peaceful, beautiful, and deeply connected to nature. The sanctuary does a wonderful job of creating a natural and relaxing environment, allowing visitors to feel completely immersed in the beauty of the wildlife and surroundings. From the friendly animals to the lush greenery, every moment spent here was calming and memorable. It’s more than just a zoo – it’s a place where you can feel a genuine bond with nature. Highly recommended for anyone who loves animals or simply wants a break from the hustle and bustle.

I joined the Breakfast with Koalas experience at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and it was such a wonderful activity! I purchased a package that included the zoo admission, the breakfast, and a photo with a koala. This event only happens once a day, starting at 8 AM, and Currumbin is one of the few places in Australia where you can actually hold a koala. During breakfast, the keepers introduced us to three different koalas, bringing them around so we could ask questions and gently touch their backs. It was such a unique experience—eating breakfast while getting to know these adorable animals. Staff also called us up one by one for the koala photo session, which was well-organized. Besides the koala experience, the sanctuary also offers other animal interactions, such as feeding the rainbow lorikeets at specific times, visiting the kangaroo area where you can feed and interact with them, and enjoying different animal shows. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the Gold Coast!

We had such a wonderful time at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! The lorikeet feeding was absolutely amazing such a joyful and colourful experience. The free flight bird show was another highlight it was incredible to watch these beautiful birds soar gracefully above the audience and see them up close. We also had the chance to see and take photos with a python, kangaroo and koala up close was both exciting and memorable. The wildlife talks were engaging and informative, and the Aboriginal culture show was beautifully presented and full of meaning. The only downside was the limited vegan food options at the cafés, so it would be great to see a bit more variety in the future. Overall, a fantastic place to visit for all ages educational, fun, and full of opportunities to connect with nature and animals up close!
Sanjula — Google review
Fabulous experience as always here. This was my third time visiting the sanctuary with some of our friends visiting from Europe. With so much to see and do here I suggest newcomers set aside roughly 5 hours to see everything the park has on offer. From visiting the reptile enclosure, to patting the kangaroos and getting up close with the koalas. There's something for everyone here. The day is well planned out on the map with several key shows in the afternoon including the wild bird display, aboriginal performance group & finishing up with lorikeet feeding right before closing time. Right now parking is also free across the road. Highly recommend to everyone ❤️

Tickets were expensive but worth it for the NFP and animals. The animals were well cared for and their enclosures were spacious. Happy to see all animals have access to a no people/viewing area. The free bird show was breathtaking. Only wish there were more trains/directions of said train, more drink refill stations, and clearer signage.
Alex Q — Google review
So glad we went here when visiting the gold coast. The animals were all clearly well looked after and had space. I also liked seeing the vets at work in the wildlife hospital. Its not a zoo but definitely a sanctuary for certain animals who cant go back to the wild, to live out their lives there. I loved the koalas and roos, but as a brit that goes without saying!
Kathie1404 — Google review
Great day out with the family, but definitely some concerns with animal ethics. Birds trained like it's a Disney exhibit and photoshoots with Koala's available. Plus small exhibit areas for some animals, like the salt water crocodile. Also not enough supervision around the kangaroos, with hoards of kids coming in at once and getting near the faces of the roo's. Having said that, all the animal handlers and carers seemed to love what they did and seemed really passionate about conservation. I'd like to see more signs/information about why certain animals are there, especially if they're being rehabbed before re-release. Otherwise it seems more like a well-run zoo than a sanctuary.
Josh G — Google review
Currumbin is a very different experience than Lone Pine and seems more focused on entertaining children and tourists. More aviaries for the bird lovers. More walking paths plus zip lines and the sway bridges etc for those willing to pay extra for those experiences. The tiny train is fun but was mostly not working both of the days we were there. The food options in the park shut early and they start herding people out at 3 or 330 for the 4pm close. Lots of shade over the paths and the animal encounters we paid extra for were fun. We also watched a swan be sedated in the animal hospital. Then the Vet/vet tech wore it like a scarf/ Bjork to transfer it to another space. It was neat to watch and I hope the swan made a speedy recovery.

David Fleay Wildlife Park, nestled in the tranquil Burleigh Heads area of the Gold Coast, is a charming destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Established by renowned naturalist David Fleay in 1952, this heritage park emphasizes animal conservation and creating natural habitats. Visitors can explore lush rainforests and wetlands while observing an impressive variety of native species such as crocodiles, wallabies, koalas, and even the elusive platypus named Wally.
Purchased a Father's Day buffet and entrance package and was not disappointed. Such a beautiful hidden pocket- well maintained and preserved park. Although not as big as other parks attended, the surroundings and walk around the facility was serene and clean. Small but mighty!

The park is quite small. Some areas are still recovering from cyclone Alfred. There were not too many animals... 2h will be more than enough to see everything, including attending some of the daily talks. It's not possible to feed the Kangaroos 🦘, but depending on the time of the day you go, you might see the park carers doing so. It's quite cute to see them eating sweet potato 😊 Friendly staff members who will be happy to answer any questions you might have. I visited the park on a Wednesday. It was quite quiet, which was pretty pleasant. Hope you have an enjoyable day 🐨🦘🤗

Close to Currumbin wildlife park this is a Park with a lot of history. Returning after 25 years, the park has detoriated from its earlier years. This historic park needs to be spruced up especially with the pot hole road access and the cafe and more wildlife related activities. The cafe is average . Besides vegetation options ( has only 1 ), needs better menu. The quality of what they serve is fine

Beautiful haven with superb grounds that showcase the extraordinary beauty of the natural environment, sadly depleted by development. Well-cared for birds, animals and reptiles and superbly knowledgeable friendly guides. Nice cafe and a thoughtfully planned room for children to learn and play. Very accessible for prams, wheelchairs. Lots of shady seating areas. Most beautiful anhd important attraction on the coast.

Well laid out and fully accessible for anyone with mobility aids. Animals were viewable whilst still having space. Not busy when I went. Unfortunately, the platypus enclosure was being refurbished so I wasn't able to see them.

It's fairly small but well laid out and landscaped with an open area with Wallabys and Emu. Only need 2hrs to see everything at the most. Not all animals were out, but it was really hot so I don't blame them! The kids enjoyed it and it was much much cheaper compared to other locations. Park was fairly quiet which was also nice (late Oct weekday).

JFK Woodfire Kitchen & Bar is a popular spot known for its delicious wood-fired pizzas and gourmet delights. Absolutely gobsmacked, quality of food and staff is poor. Your one head of house is running around doing absolutely everything from ordering to making coffees and everything in between and her personality/attitude could be brighter. Establishment needs a massive over haul for the prices people are paying. Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend. Felt like it was a kindergarten with the kids all running around. The original JKF died and this isn’t far behind.

JFK Woodfire Kitchen & Bar has become our date night hang out. Friendly staff, and a delicious menu - which in my opinion is very reasonably priced, Each time I go, I fall in love with the romantic vibe, set amongst leafy green foliage and thousands of fairy lights. Highly recommend this spot everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Definitely coming back soon! 🍔👏

The burgs here do be absolutely premium in quality and taste. Great service, great vibe. Is $60 reasonable for 2 burgers and fries? You're gonna have to decide that for yourself. I can't tell you how to spend your money. Nor would I want to, I'm not that kinda guy.

Day 3

Center of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Robina Town Centre, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Commune Cafe. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Robina Town Centre is a sprawling retail paradise located in the heart of Gold Coast. It boasts an extensive collection of over 350 shops, including major department stores and international fashion brands like H&M, Country Road, and Seed Heritage. The center also offers a diverse dining experience with The Kitchens, featuring a variety of culinary delights. In addition to shopping and dining, visitors can enjoy entertainment options such as mini golf, bowling, and Gold Class cinemas.
Love hanging out here with my family and/or friends. Great atmosphere and many things you can do. There are two inside food courts which have a great selection of food. There is also one outside which is fun for the kids as there is a small playground and a large grassy patch. Lots of clothes, shoes, jewellery, etc shops. There is also a Timezone and a theatre for entertainment. There are hairdressers, massage places, and many beauty places. You can even do your weekly shopping here. There is everything you need inside here. 100% recommend visiting this shopping centre.

Robina Town Centre is one of the best shopping destinations on the Gold Coast. It has a huge range of stores to suit every need – from big-name fashion brands and department stores to specialty shops, tech, and lifestyle outlets. The dining options are excellent, with everything from casual food court eats to sit-down restaurants and cafés. The centre is always clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate with clear signage and plenty of seating areas. Parking is convenient, with multiple entry points and both undercover and outdoor options. Public transport access is also good, making it easy to get to. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and there’s often something happening – from pop-up stalls to events and seasonal displays. Overall, Robina Town Centre offers a great mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a perfect spot for a quick visit or a full day out.

Robina Town Centre is a fantastic shopping destination with a wide range of shops, from fashion and beauty to electronics and homeware. It also offers a great variety of restaurants, cafés, and food options, perfect for any taste or occasion. The supermarkets are large and well-stocked, making it convenient for grocery shopping too. The centre is clean, spacious, and easy to navigate, with plenty of parking. A great place to spend the day shopping, dining, or just relaxing!

The interior design of this shopping centre is exquisite but also quite massive and complex that I can’t even find where the Apple Store is, which is next to the LEGO store and opposite to the H&M, and it’s the only Apple Store in Gold Coast. There are also 2 different food courts here just like Pacific Fair, the circular one with fast food restaurants is to the north and near BIG W; on the contrary, the other one with Woolworths is called The Kitchen and to the south. Moreover, The Promenade, where all the mid-range bars and restaurants are in the shopping centre, is on the lower ground floor. There is a tiny entrance with escalators downwards to The Promenade to the north of the circular food court. Speaking of the transportation, the bus stop is to the WEST of the mall and its location seems kinda remote but if you want to visit here by translink (Queensland public transportation), the best way to come is via the G Link tram from the station nearest to your hotel to Broadbeach South and transfer to 750 bus, which can take you straight to here. The same goes for the return journey except for the directions and I suggest you buy a Go Card (It can be topped up with the machines at all tram stations and is accepted by all buses, airtrain, and G Link tram). Besides, the shopping centre is also fairly abundant in parking spaces but it still can be crowded sometimes, especially in the shopping days (Thursdays).

Robina Town Centre is great and a real mix of shopping, Restaurant and lots more. Cinemas and Bowling and Timezone which my Grandson loves. All the fun and enjoyment of trying to beat his mum in using Video games. Such a choice and great selection to have a time play it load a card with money to pay the games. What fun and challenges for a 5 year old to achieve eye and hand coordination. I loved watching them and then went to the Cafe for Flat white coffee and Bacon and Egg roll.... Just watching people playing TenPin bowling. If you are in the area it is great fun for all and you can spend as long as you choose to pay for. TenPin Bowling is also great. I would recommend if you are in the area or looking forward to some family time together. There is a grand food hall which serves everything you would wish to eat from Brisket of Beef. Duck, Noodles. Rice dishes, Chicken, Burgers chips and much much more. The complex is vast and well worth eating there it catering for all ages. You will not be disappointed I wasn't I loved it..Try it for yourself.

Just updating this with some fresh videos and timelapse clips — Robina Town Centre keeps changing in a good way. It’s still one of the best spots on the Gold Coast for shopping, food, and just getting stuff done. There’s the usual big names like Sephora, H&M, Apple, David Jones, and JB Hi-Fi — but also plenty of smaller stores, pop-ups, and beauty places. The Kitchens is definitely a standout: a more upmarket food court with proper meals — Malaysian, Korean, Japanese, bakeries, cafes, and Woolies right in the middle. It’s always clean, easy to find a seat, and has a good vibe. The Thai place upstairs is a go-to. There are also a bunch of spots outside the main centre — like the post office, Robina Library, TGI Fridays, Yo-Chi, and a few casual dining options that are worth checking out. The layout makes it easy to park, walk around, and knock out everything on your list without too much stress. Still a solid place to spend a few hours — or accidentally the whole day

Its a massive shopping centre. I got a bit lost trying to find Kmart but that's ok I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm fairly certain you can find every shop imaginable. It's clean, it's modern. Many food options whether you want a cuppa or a meal. Every place smelled delicious & was bustling.
Carolyn B — Google review
This shopping is bigger than you’d expect when you first walk in. It offers quite a diverse shopping experience with a decent an variety of retail shops, from luxury brands to local boutiques, it just feels like there's something for everyone. The food courts feel very spacious and accommodating while catering to most tastes, offering global cuisines and quick bites. However, during peak times, the crowds can be overwhelming. Despite that, the center's modern feel and ample parking make it a go-to shopping destination in the area.

Shopping
Stockland Burleigh Heads Shopping Centre is a major shopping complex located in West Burleigh Road, adjacent to the Gold Coast Highway. It features over 120 specialty stores and boutique shops, as well as an Aldi Supermarket, Big W and other large retail chains. The mall is accessible by wheelchair, and it has public toilets on site.
Don't live locally so only went in because it was there to grab some sushi. But nice to know what it had both inside and the outside larger stores. Plus it turned out to be a reasonable stroll to other businesses in the vicinity which I couldn't be bothered driving to.

This shop has just recently undergone a change and is attracting more families. It's got a great food court and great play ground for the kids! It has everything you need and then some. From Woolies at one end to Big W down the other end and JB HiFi in between. Stacks of parking. Good amenities. Great cafes. Always clean.
Helen N — Google review
I visited here for the first time and in my opinion as a traveler, it’s a massive and versatile that has every kind of shops, such as BIG W, JB HI-FI, Woolies, Aldi, fresh food market, discount shop, pharmacies, Telstra, clothing stores, gift shops, just to name a few, as well as banks and and clinics. However, there are not as many restaurants and I didn’t see any pubs or bars but the restaurants are nearly all budget friendly. You can easily get here by 753, 754, or 756 buses from Broadbeach South tram station. The number of the parking spaces here seems insane. If you’re a big shopper and have been to Pacific Fair, Australia Fair, and Robina Town Centre, you can take this place into consideration. Overall, it’s an underrated location for shopping but not eating.

I took my terminally ill friend to Burleigh Stockland on Saturday 6th September. I required a wheelchair. As usual the Centre was very busy. I had no sticker so parked quiet a way from Centre Care. Well a huge thank you to the lovely lady manning the Centre Saturday for her care and concern. A huge thank you to both security guards for their help getting to and from my car. My friend loved her day out, and YOU made the day just so easy. Thank you.

VERY large shopping complex that is spread out over hectares of land. There are a number of large retail chains that have all have large stores onsite that are separate and independent of Stockland. The Stockland shopping center is a massive indoor, airconditioned shopping town with hundreds of small and large retail stores including groceries supermarkets. Practices a functional Covid protocol and has a QR system in place. Wheel Chair friendly, public toilets onsite.

I love this place for its open air view of the surf. I always stop in for a coldie on the verandah. If I can get a table at the front, the middle isn't so bad either. I liken it to Burleigh Pavilion without the pretentiousness.

Staff jumped into action and helped when my son knocked his juice over, so helpful and the vege food was delicious!! Multiple options!! Plus the beautiful view. Filled our cups! Highly recommend, and can’t wait to visit again soon (Sadly photos are taken half way through the meal as all looked so yummy we just had to dig straight in, but fresh and loaded with goodness).

There is also a tiny entrance to the restaurant from the beachside with a sign next to Ben & Jerry’s. In addition, you order foods at the counter and drinks at the bar just right next to it. Seafood Woodfired Pizza ($30): Thank the chef for not putting the sauce that contains onions and garlics and he said all pizzas are based on that sauce. As a result, without that sauce, the pizza is absolutely delicious and I love how soft the pizza itself is and the mozzarella also has a unique texture. Most importantly, the best part is when you eat all kinds of seafood with the capsicums. Besides, if you don’t drink alcohols. they also have soft drinks like lemon squash, pink lemonade, Pepsi etc at around $4.5 in a glass. Unfortunately, restaurant gets relatively bustling at Sunday noon and all the window tables are occupied when I try to get one. It’s considerate of the cashier that you can switch your order or customise your food if you are allergic to something in your food. The bartender is also friendly and agile enough to deal with such long queue in a short period of time. To top it off, excellent service, outstanding food, great scenery, slightly high prices but absolutely worth a visit, 9.5 out of 10!

Great views overlooking Burleigh surf beach from the first floor balcony to enjoy a drink and a meal. Despite a minor incident experienced 2 weeks previously (see below), we returned for lunch and was immediately recognised and greeted by Lachie (manager) which was a pleasant surprise. Despite the many customers utilising this popular venue, we experienced exceptional service and enjoyed a drink or two and a delicious meal. I subsequently changed the service rating from 2 stars to 5 stars as a result. Well deserved. Thank you. 2 weeks previous - waited 45 minutes for food despite many tables around us receiving their food despite arriving before us. After 2 follow ups, we received our food with 2 different excuses from 2 different staff members. We discussed the incident with management who listened, apologised, and offered generous compensation in the form of a voucher. They handled the situation exceptionally well to an extent that we will be returning customers.

Restaurant
Located on the shores of Burleigh Headland, The Tropic offers a breathtaking view of the sea and coastline. The restaurant's Mediterranean-inspired menu features fresh local seafood, shareable plates, and reimagined classics paired with delicious drinks. With its plantation-style ceilings, pale pink tiled bar, and cool pastel colors, the 200-seat restaurant provides an unforgettable dining experience. Chef Guillaume Zika leads the kitchen, promising mouth-watering treats for diners.
Tropic went above and beyond when they hosted myself and family for my birthday lunch. We were a small group of 3 and they provided excellent service, going above and beyond with “the little things” such as a birthday note on my arrival and a beautiful piece of cake for our table to share at the end our meal from the Tropic Team with a sparkler and all. It was my dad’s first time here as he is from out of town and he was very impressed and looks forward to returning also. Thank you to our host on the day and the team, as always it was a fabulous meal and wonderful day.

One of the best birthday lunches I have ever had (& I've had a few!). We could not have had a better table which was out of the wind but allowed us to enjoy the brilliant winter sunshine & water, the waitress could not have done any more for us (attentive, without being over the top) & the food was delicious. We will definitely be back & we did manage to convince (didn't take much!!) one of our friends who joined us for a drink, that next time she is down the coast, she is going to book a table at the Tropic. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to the Tropic.

A Sunset Feast at The Tropic – Gold Coast Must-Try 🌅🍴 The Tropic is one of those iconic Gold Coast restaurants that locals and visitors alike seem to rave about—and now I understand why. With so many glowing recommendations online, we made sure not to miss it during our trip. We arrived around 4:30 PM for an early dinner, perfectly timed to enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. And the scenery is absolutely unbeatable. The service was just as impressive. Every staff member greeted us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel like we were truly on holiday. The relaxed yet attentive atmosphere added so much to the experience. We ordered their specials of the day: a vibrant beetroot salad, half a dozen fresh oysters, delicate fish carpaccios and a rich duck meat pasta and with Tiramisu. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—fresh, balanced, and satisfying.

BEST PANCAKE DISH I HAVE EVER HAD! Super delicious and won’t disappoint. So many different tastes and textures in this fresh and fruity dish. Coconut flakes, Mango sorbet, yoghurt soft and cool. Crunchy shortbread. And soft fluffy pancake was an explosion of flavour and texture in your mouth. Just incredible you have to try this. My partner and friends also got some other dishes and they were not disappointed. Great service and friendly smiles. Of course coffees were essential. You have to try the lotus latte with a shot of coffee 🌟 amazing menu. Thanks again to all staff. From travellers Manchester 🫶🏼

The Commune Cafe in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, is truly a world-class establishment that made my holiday mornings unforgettable. I found myself returning every day for breakfast, quickly becoming addicted to the wonderful experience it offers. Their menu boasts an impressive array of choices, each crafted to delight the taste buds. The eggs, made with free-range produce, were simply delicious, and the bacon was perfectly crispy—just as I requested—pairing beautifully with the excellent sourdough bread. The coffee was standout, among the best I’ve ever tasted, and their smoothies, especially the protein booster, were outstanding and energizing. From the moment I stepped inside until the moment I left, the service was exceptional. Caley greeted me with a warm, beaming smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and Baby personally delivered my food with pride and friendliness. The decor is quirky and charming, adding to the vibrant and lively ambiance that makes the cafe so inviting. Overall, The Commune Cafe has earned my highest recommendation for anyone visiting Burleigh Heads seeking a memorable breakfast experience filled with delicious food, superb coffee, and friendly service.

Found the cafe' using Chat GPT. Off the beaten track a bit which was fine. Parking is on the street wherever you can find it. I found a small, funky, popular establishment with a good menu with so many options to add or change to meet your needs. The staff were friendly and helpful to make your experience pleasant. The prices were average and the food came fairly quickly (depends how busy they are). The food was just right and very tasty. Portions were a good size and the coffee was great. Highly recommend and will be back.

Amazing Brunch & Coffee Spot Near Home! We visited Commune Cafe recently, and it’s such a gem right near us! The menu is creative, and every dish is packed with flavour and texture. We had the Mango Lassi Pancake, and it was an absolute delight! The buttermilk pancake was soft and fluffy, with a tropical burst from the mango pulp on top. The gingerbread added a warm spice that made it even more unique—such a great contrast of flavours! We also tried The Froger, and it was perfection. The mix of two types of mushrooms with garlic and thyme gave it an earthy richness, while the pesto and thick sourdough added great depth. Topped with fresh avocado, it was such a balanced and satisfying dish. And the coffee? Absolutely next level! The freshly roasted mocha was smooth, bold, and just what we needed to complete the meal. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food, quality coffee, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely little cafe!! Amazing food, kind and attentive waitstaff, great batch brew (sweet, perfect balance of acidity and bitterness), and a pretty atmosphere! I got the mushroom and avo toast (vegan option), and my partner had the eggs benny with mushrooms and bacon. I loved the hemp seeds combined with the tahnini, as well as the addition of enoki mushrooms and fennel. Added some nice texture and flavours. The avo was perfectly ripe as well and I was happy to get a full half of one! It was around $30 per person for coffee and the meal but so, so worth it - great service, big portions and amazing flavour and quality of ingredients. The latte art was beautiful as well, always a bonus! Next time I'm in the area, I would love to come back again. Highly recommend, and compliments to both kitchen and FOH staff 💗💗 Awesome job guys!!

Expensive and poor porsion sizes apart from the mixed grill. The mixed grill meats were very dry and the salad wasn't great either. Service staff also couldn't accommodate the chips to be served with the mixed grill as the kitchen was to busy. Save your money and go to Jimmy Grant's.

If I could give more starts I totally would! Service was impeccable, food was great and the decor and the vibe of the place is really nice! Everybody had a smile on their faces and we felt really welcome! We ordered the banquet for 2 and for $35 a head that was more than enough of food for that amount of money! That 6 courses of food could easily have fed 3 people! The calamari we had was the best I've ever had. So juicy and tender that it was almost unbelievable!? So so good. I only have nice things to say about this place! Definitely coming back! :)

The food was good, the wait staff weren't very attentive. We're ordered a banquet & the dips/chips/salad came out in good time but then we waited over an hour for the meat (which then were couldn't eat cause we were over the wait). The meat was great & its a shame we couldn't have eaten it with chips & salad. I ordered the galatoborico & its was nice but a little on the small side.. we were then overcharged by one beer... not that that is a big deal

Have visited this joint twice. Once one year ago and it is was genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had. The second time was tonight. Following suit of other reviews we ordered the mixed platter $45pp the starters and salad came out very quick but we were left waiting for 45 minutes for the meat. The wait staff never cleared anything off the table. Once the meat arrived it was also very underwhelming and not up to scratch of the high standards that we had experienced at this restaurant previously. All in all very dissappointing. 2 stars come from the first visit.

Thumbs up for Family friendly Italian restaurant. I was happy to have some good pizza and pasta! Especially Tagliatelle black ink lobster is awesome! Meat was good texture and tasty, Loved friendly service, clean toilet with natural decorations

The staff is very friendly and cheerful. Our drinks were good and the appetizers are awesome. The risotto and two pastas we ordered were a bit bland. It could use more seasoning and less oil. However, the truffle pizza was packed with flavour and the dough was fluffy. Beside the pizza, the calamari was very good and the sauce they serve with it is delicious.

Great little Italian Deli, delicious homemade pasta covered in a hearty tomato sauce, mince and parmesan + a fantastic espresso ran me about $26. High quality stuff, and a great staff. 5/5 Recommend giving it a try.

Nice interior, friendly stuff. But food was below any standards. Caprese was just waste, pizza is not wooden fire but was good tasteb we, pasta was ok. I think that place definitely has potential, chef just need to make it tasty.

Fast food restaurant
Hungry Jack's Burgers Burleigh West is a well-established fast-food chain known for its hearty beef and chicken burgers, as well as its selection of ice cream and soft drinks. While primarily utilizing the drive-thru service, customers have praised the friendly and professional staff who meticulously verify complicated orders to ensure accuracy. However, some patrons have found the indoor dining experience less comfortable due to inconsistent temperatures.
Isabella whom works here is an angel & sweetheart!! Totally brightened my day with her mega kind customer service 🥰🕊️ Thank you again for being so kind! I highly recommend this Hungry Jacks heaps. Great customer service, yummy food at a great location 🤍💎

We brought our grandchild, 2.5years old to have a play and lunch. The outside are just disgusting with spills and tables not cleaned, rubbish everywhere. The ladies toilet just dirty, the tiles above the floor and around the toilet bowl, not acceptable!

Unbelievable, Saturday night and just delivery food from the drive thru. 50 minutes waiting for an online order. In the window, after that long waiting time the food is not ready.
Stephanie C — Google review
Ordered through the drive through at 3.52pm. Was to park in the waiting bay. Rang them at 4.04pm to say that I was still waiting out in the waiting bay. Blonde girl bought it out at 4.06pm. Talk about attitude from her. She slammed the gate as she walked back in.

Took me & my boys Monday here after Muay Thai training. Walked in, was busy. All the tables were dirty. I literally asked the lady at the Front counter, can I please have the spray and wipe so I can clean the table. Blonde handed me over the cloth & said. Id do it, but I’m busy…… We had to go back up after they gave us our order. They Forgot 1 of our Burgers. Guy looks down & goes,”uh, here it is”. We sat down at the table, pulled all our order out, pulled out our loaded fries and they were cold. We were given an excuse at the source made them cold. The fries that had no sauce on them were even cold so we waited longer for them to make us fresh chips. I feel sorry for the staff. They look like they were really busy and could use some help. The tables & floor were Filthy. My Burgers was nice thou.

I went through the drive-thru today and had a really disappointing experience. The staff member serving me was extremely rude. I was given an iced coffee instead of the hot one I ordered, and when I politely pointed it out, she shut the window on me mid-sentence. When she handed me the correct drink, she didn’t say a single word—no apology or acknowledgment at all. Very poor customer service which is your one job.

Terrible! I ordered a plant based whopper. The patty was cooked to the consistency of a butternut biscuit - crispy thin and hard to chew. A few measly bits of lettuce, a tiny tomato slice and not much else appetising. The burger was at the bottom of the bag and everything else thrown on top of it, so it was squashed flat as well. Chips were cold, and my iced chocolate was blah. Both people at the front counter showed zero enthusiasm for being there, and the place was untidy. Not worth the visit. I had the same meal at the Tweed store a couple weeks ago after a concert, about 11.30pm, and it was fresh, cared for and tasty.

2nd time dining at Hungry Jacks. Burgers & drinks spot on. Thanks. We had a small meal deal selecting a Chicago Angus burger & Smokey Angus Burger, both had plenty of flavour. 🙏

Izakaya restaurant
Etsu Izakaya is a contemporary Japanese restaurant known for its stylish interior, energetic atmosphere, and modern Japanese cuisine. The venue offers a range of dishes designed for sharing, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, and innovative cocktails. The restaurant has gained popularity for its impeccable fit-out and friendly staff.
I absolutely loved Etsu! I went here with my family and we had a really great night. The food was incredible, and so many options for all dietaries. My mum is on a specific diet and they sat with her and worked through the menu to find options for her. The drinks were great and the overall atmosphere was brilliant. The staff were also friendly, efficient and attentive. A great experience.

Etsu Izakaya 🏮 is easily the best Izakaya this side of Tokyo. The moment you walk through the iconic timber door, you are instantly transported more than 7,000km to Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka. Like the service, the food is sensational and simply exquisite. Caitlin, our waitress, was amazing. Her service was impeccable also along with her knowledge of the dishes. She certainly made our evening memorable. Thank you Caitlin and staff.

10 out of 10. The food was delicious, it came out quickly, tasted amazing and offered so many flavours. A special shout our to Sam our waitress, she was attentive, lovely and was a joy to have at our table. They catered for my onion allergy and made my birthday special. Thank you 😊 🙏 💓

My experience was immaculately amazing, a date night that wasn’t expected, i don’t think some of the photos and reviews can do the justice for this place We had a bit of everything other than from the grill, started with edamame and slow cooked Wagyu and slight touch of truffle, then moved on with sashimi of 3 types fish and prawn sushis, ended our main meal with truffle wagyu gyoza and two skewers of pork belly. After all that I couldn’t go home without their Tira-miso A great experience that i’d count down days to come back to GC and try this place again

After hearing about this place for years… I finally got to try Etsu! As a Japanese person I’m naturally picky when it comes to Japanese food…. But omg the food was AMAZING! But their service was just as impressive! Very informative with how many dishes to order(and it was spot on). Mocktails were delicious and not overpriced like some other places. (I mean, there isn’t any alcohol in it!) We had Aburi Salmon and king mushroom maki, fried chicken and okonomiyaki. We couldn’t decide which was our favourite because they were ALL delicious! The timing of food arriving was almost suspiciously perfect. We felt welcomed, attended and cared for. As I’ve been told by others, it may not be suitable for a group gathering as the music is on loud side, but perfect for an intimate dinner for two. We’ll definitely be back! One constructive feedback, Tiramiso was devious but I personally would loved it more if sponge and cream ratio was 1:1 as the cream was very rich.

We just experienced the best Japanese food we have ever tasted. There were absolutely no complaints. The food, atmosphere and most importantly, the service were impeccable. Amazing cocktails and mocktails that you can tell were very well thought out. We chose the set menu with the wagyu beef and raw fish that absolutely melted in our mouth. What a way to spend our last night in the Gold Coast, we will definitely be back! Worth every penny

I went Etsu for my anniversary, I choose just based on reviews, because I have never been here before. It was a great choice, the food was superb, I don't thing there is a best way to describe it. The place was quite full, so definitely book in advance, it was a bit loud, but it was ok. Service was also great. Worth to try, even if you don't live nearby (my case). Will be back!
Daniel S — Google review
Etsu is a slick "Japanese" inspired bar. I wouldn't expect any authentic Japanese flavours here, but most of the dishes we did get were fairly good, although generally the flavours are quite strong. Scallop rice crackers were a great starter. Sushi rolls were quite tasty as well, as was the lobster bao. We also ordered Yakitori and Pork Belly skewers, both were okay but the chicken on the drier side. I was not impressed by the toothfish, it was way too rubbery, I'm not sure how it was cooked like this. I was impressed though by the very good highball served, a traditional one with a single large block of ice. Overall the meal was delicious but definitely room for improvement and all dishes were very heavy, though paired great with drinks. Service was great and the ambience of the venue is quite cool.
