Neat, clean and great for kids. Deer, donkeys and what looks like another on the way, sheep and goats to feed. Two shops of Christmassy and seasonal things (Easter). Very pretty, shiny and festive, but quite expensive. Large cafe area. Roadway in very pot holed and bumpy, so take it slow.

We had the best hot chocolate ever! We came here just to try the popular Belgium hot chocolate and we were not disappointed! They have such an amazing variety of Christmas baubles and decorations, so it is difficult to choose, as all of the decorations are amazing! Highly recommend!

Each shop is just full of Christmas decorations 🎄🎁 The cafe had blankets for everyone which was thoughtful - it started snowing that afternoon. Santa’s reindeer were snuggling up to escape the cold! Get the toasted marshmallow candle🙌🏼 It was a fun outing, definitely need to come back during harvest season!

UPDATE: We came back again today for more amazing hot chocolate & to visit the animals! Was lovely to see all the things we missed the first time around on a sunny day! Hands down the best experience of our trip! Came down to Stanthorpe specifically to visit this farm and it did not disappoint. The layout was magical, the stores so well set up and decorated, the trip to the cafe was the highlight as the weather was freezing and rainy! Hands a must to visit if your in the area!!!

We had a fantastic time at the Granite Belt Christmas Farm! It's such a fun and unique place, perfect for families. The kids absolutely loved seeing and petting the animals. There are three different shops all on the one site, you could very easily overspend here (in the best way!). Absolutely amazing experience. The only thing I’d love to see more of is high-end Christmas tree toppers, but overall, it’s a magical place, especially around the holidays. Highly recommend!

What a magical place! Exceeded my expectations. Bought a few christmassy things and the prices were reasonable, similar to Myer and David Jones prices. Would’ve liked it to be more Christmassy outside.

Lots of creativity went into creating this attraction. There are 3 mazes, plus mini golf. You all get a riddle to solve too (adults included). The signs around the place are awesome, very comical. If u are in the region, come visit it. Great for kids.

Fabulous! We had the best time! The riddles were fun, spent an hr in the maze trying to find the clues, mini golf was well set up and the songs were hilarious! Highly recommend! Well maintained too!

What a fun experience! The Granite Belt Maze was a great way to spend part of our day in Stanthorpe. Challenging enough to be engaging but not frustrating. Perfect activity for couples or families visiting the region. Well-maintained and good value for money. Mini golf was fun too!

This was such a fun and different experience! Being family owned, you could definitely feel the love that has gone into creating the place. I was thoroughly entertained with the hilarious signs everywhere, and the maze experience was fun because you have to find the answer to a riddle. So even though you can just take it casually, when you have the riddle to finish it makes you more excited to get through it. There were smaller mazes too which were super kid friendly and we finished the day with a round of the mini golf which was actually super fun! The place itself was well maintained and looked after, really beautiful and had enough in way of ammenities to feel comfortable. The husband and wife who own it were so friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend giving it a go!

A very fun experience! The riddle to solve whilst traversing the maze was very enjoyable, and the mini golf afterwards was a fun way to cap off this enjoyable afternoon. Staff were super friendly, and everything felt super relaxed and lovely!

Great place to go for a few hours the man and his wife are lovely and my family and I had an awesome time. If you do go make sure to read the signs. I wish the council would promote this place a lot more as there is hardly any signage! The owner said the council won't allow more signs so please go there for a family fun half day and help promote this amazing husband and wife team.

We drove south from Brisbane for about three hours to Stanthorpe. We mainly made the ride to see the lookout and also to visit Kent Saddlery in person. We found Stanthorpe to be a lovely place. It was very orderly, a pleasant break from the city's hustle and bustle. We each purchased an item from the store. The lookout is quite easy to navigate. It has a pathway to walk around. The drive is quite long which includes the Moonbi Mountains, a steep and slow ascent. We couldn't wait and had some lunch in Warwick. The road has fared well in comparison to weather affected areas closer to home and is very well maintained.

We had a fantastic experience at Kent Saddlery in Stanthorpe. The quality of their leather goods is outstanding, we purchased an Akubra, a wallet, and a purse, and all are beautifully made to last. The service was exceptional, the owner is very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s that real Aussie service you don’t find everywhere anymore. Our son especially loved feeding the llamas, they were so friendly and made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend!

From the minute you walk in you get that wonderful smell of beautiful handcrafted leather products. Between the range of leather bags, handbags, hats, leather tools and equipment, and so so much more. The lady who served us was wonderful & friendly.

Could not recommend this place more!! Greg served us and was a legend; he cut my dream belt to size which was so great! Also showed us around the workshop which was super cool seeing how everything was made!

Very good product. Awesome that its made in Australia and a product that will last. There is a hand made product for everyone so if you need a gift you may wish shop here for sure.

Wow! What a great place this is - 3 courses for $69. I had the pumpkin to start, beef brisket for main and lemon polenta cake for dessert. The wine was fantastic! I haven’t had many local wines but I am so keen to try more now. The service was great and prompt. Nothing to fault and would definitely recommend Varias for dinner when they are in Stanthorpe 👌🏾

We enjoyed the most delicious lunch at Varias – an experience that was both refined and satisfying. My husband had the tasting plate (Medley of mains) was beautifully presented, each element thoughtfully balanced with texture and flavour. From the crisp, golden sesame-crumbed piece with creamy dressing to the vibrant pickled vegetables and perfectly cooked meats, every bite was a delight. The combinations on the plate felt creative yet harmonious – a real showcase of seasonal produce. My lunch was equally impressive: a rich, flavoursome seafood stew with tender fish, balanced by the freshness of fennel and herbs, served with rustic grilled sourdough. Comforting yet elegant, it was exactly the kind of dish you want to linger over. Service was warm and attentive, and the wine pairings were spot-on, enhancing each course without overwhelming the food. The poached pear desert was equally outstanding! Amazing Overall, Varias delivers a truly memorable dining experience – sophisticated without being pretentious, and absolutely worth returning for.

Our yearly visit here from Brisbane once again was outstanding. The wines these young people produce are all fabulous we purchased half a dozen. The restaurant Varias is a must do.We cannot go past the Medley with matching wines it’s always 5 star restaurant quality and again we’re happy to report the food wine service and ambiance of this stunning restaurant is well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

A fantastic dining experience. The pumpkin dish was the standout absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavourful. Plus the presentation of each dish was top notch.

Our group of 6 visited Stanthorpe for the weekend and dined here Friday night. Sensational. Service excellent and the food was high quality and delicious. Very well priced set menu options. Varias is as good as, if not better than many similar city restaurants. Highly recommended.

Lovely lunch at Varias - I had Tuscan Fish Stew (delicious) and my partner had beef cheek with roasted seasonal vegetables (fabulous). Suggested matched wines were very good. We also had a wine tasting with Arantza their winemaker from the Basque Country in Spain and bought a dozen mixed wines to go home with us. Dining room has a lovely outlook over a small dam and vines. Great way to spend a Tuesday lunch.

Interesting place to go to. With a nice view of Stanthorpe town. But the path is not wheelchair friendly. Only picnic tables here with no bbqs or toilets.

Great mtbing with unique landscape. Very chunky at the top so be prepared. Very close to Stanthorpe CBD and coffee etc. lovely little town. Also good lookout on the way up.

Being so up, you can see very down. Don't bother to BYO wind, there was plenty provided for free on the day of my attendance.

Perfect spot to check out Stanthorpe and the local area. Telescope/binoculars are free and pretty decent. It's a shame that the metal plate with info about what is where has been stolen. Easy parking and nice area for a picnic. Shady and sunny spots.

Very quick drive or steep ride to the top. Something to do, kill time. It's shady, two picnic table, no toilets and parking up top accommodates about 10 cars, there's a little walk you can do from there. Two giant fixed binoculars. It's lovely up there.

On a cold winter's morning it was a warm hug of welcome. Like a step back in time with the happiest most welcoming staff I have encountered in a very long time. The food, Coffee and atmosphere were spectacular.

Busy little cafe with a cozy and warm feel. We visited as a group of 5 and had a Most delicious morning tea with cakes from the cabinet which were devoured with glee. Coffee was beautiful

The best coffee in Stanthorpe. We tried them all! The vibe of the Brinx is the best and the staff were so lovely. The breakfast was yummy too. My kids loved the baby chino.

Brinx is an absolute hidden gem! Not only do they serve a mean cup of coffee (seriously, it hits just right), but the entire place is filled with the coolest little treasures and quirky finds. Every corner has something that makes you go “oooh” — plants, art, homeware, and all the bits you didn’t know you needed until now. It’s the kind of spot where you come for a latte and end up staying way longer just to explore. Definitely recommending Brinx to anyone who loves good brews and good vibes. Can’t wait to go back and discover more!

Went here twice in 2 days. First was really good but second time wasnt as good. Different barista maybe? We ordered coffees both times. They also have a range of Rufus Teague sauces to purchase which goes great on bbq. Never very busy and had a reasonable number of tables inside.

Fantastic to find a real coffee shop with knowledgeable baristas. They made a great magic. Didn't have an opportunity to try the food as only the deli was open. Dog friendly too

Great place to meet family and friends to have a few drinks and a meal. It had a good atmosphere, the drinks were cold and the meals were tasty.the waiting staff and barman were all friendly and efficient.

Thank you to the amazing staff tonight. We were visiting from interstate and they went above and beyond to cater for us in more ways than one. Food, service and their bubbly attitude was wonderful. Steaks were cooked perfectly, so thank you kitchen staff.

Dinner on a Monday night and it was relatively busy. Huge T-bone steak asked for medium rare and it was undercooked. Hubby got the salmon which had burnt skin. Pub had nice atmosphere.

Fairly lights and real ivy vines grow in the outdoor seating area, creating a lovely atmosphere! Excellent playground! It is outdoors and covered. The seating and tables indoors are ALL clean, with clean bathrooms.

Came here twice for breakfast over the weekend. We ordered the same thing both days, different staff and the price was exactly the same. No, it doesn't always happen. Coffee and tea were great and the food is what you would expect from maccas, goldilocks. No complaints, would recommend stopping in. Cheers

I have cancelled Maccas from my families menu in Brisbane due to poor food quality and hygiene but the Stanthorpe Maccas has demonstrated that Maccas can still be a good place to eat. It is cleaner, more freindly and better food than any in Brisbane. Well done Stanthorpe.

This Place is beyond a joke . The wait times for in store purchased food is ridiculous. Alot of unhappy people just waiting for placed orders. Would be quicker to get in the car and go through drive through as it obviously has priority. Toilets stink and obviously don't get clean like they should🤢

First time ever going here, will not be returning ever. On arrival, went to the toilet, disgusting. The smell was disgusting and it was dirty, definitely not getting Dailey clean. Service was quite quick but we ate in, every table had food scraps on them, not cleaned and food and crap all over the floor, thisis disgusting for a restaurant chain. Oh the food, not the restaurants fault, but what a rip off, and not putting pickles in the burgers, what the hell is wrong with you lot. The owner needs to overhaul the team on how to run it correctly.

This is a must visit. The drive there was beautiful, travelling along the Sprint Drive. Stopping at this pub for lunch was a real surprise and absolutely fantastic. Great food, beer and decor. Staff are very friendly and the meals are fantastic. 5/5

Waited 25 minutes for 2x bacon and eggs McMuffins a hashbrown and a water. Saw the fresh hashbrowns come out of the fryer and by the time I got my food it was cold, the bacon and eggs were cold too. Staff seem to have plenty of time to chat and giggle but can’t be bothered to actually get food out. The young bloke at the front counter who I asked about my order was dismissive and didn’t give me a straight answer. Honestly team seemed a braincell short of a friction fire.

Absolutely delicious sushi — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour! , definitely the best Japanese food in Stanthorpe. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!!

Best Japanese I have ever had. Staff are very polite and respectful, and are always willing to help and ensure customers are enjoying their meals. The food is absolutely delicious, there are many options to choose from and each meal I have tried has been cooked to perfection. As a regular customer, I have found that the speed of which the meals have been served has been faster than many other restaurants. The setting of Hanasaku is very inviting and the staff are always there to welcome you with a smile. I would highly recommend Hanasaku Restaurant Stanthorpe for both a lunchtime or dinner meal.

Sampled a few of there dishes, especially enjoyed the Takoyaki, had to try the Okonomiyaki (pancake), which was interested and enjoyed it. We dad the spicy pork don for main, very tasty but was on the hotter side. Staff were polite and friendly, recommend a visit if you enjoy Japanese and a standout restaurant in Stanthorpe.

Working in Stanthorpe for 11 weeks , thought I would try this little cool looking Japanese restaurant , the food on the menu looked great . Sat down by myself , there were only 4 other ppl in the restaurant . I didn’t take long less than a minute to decide what I wanted. I sat there for more than five minutes waiting to be served . When I walked in there were 2 woman serving and one man , they seemed to disappear . I got angry and tired of eating and walked out , never to return … absolutely appalling service .

Wow! Truly an amazing little restaurant all the way in Stanthorpe. Highly recommended you dine here if you’re in town. The owners are really nice, the food is delicious with the right balance of the true authentic flavours. Feedback for owners: - for dine ins have bottles of soy sauce, wasabi & fresh ginger. The little fish plastic packets of soy sauce produces a lot of plastic waste and is annoying.

Purchase on way home after work. Bought quarter chicken meal plus some extras. Asked to not have breast. Upon getting home I see it’s the breast piece, fairy dry and potato/gravy was mostly dry potato. Sad and annoyed

Ordered 2 rooster rolls and large fries for $25. The rolls were mushy squashy microwave quality and was difficult to find the chicken in amongst the thick mayonnaise. Thank goodness for the napkins which we mainly used to wipe all the massively excessive salt from the chips. The entire meal just made me sick. If I could give it minus stars, I would

Was disgusted with the rooster roll - the last 2 times we came there was so little chicken in it it was appalling. Today hubby decided to complain and the reply he got was "It's all weighted". They flatly refused to make him another one. Here's a picture if you think I'm exaggerating - it certainly looks nothing like the advertised picture for this product. There was literally 3 pieces of chicken in the whole roll.

Went though on a Friday evening placed our order on the app got to drive though window had 3 large meals got to the window and was told by the young girl at the window we had to go to waiting Bay for 2 pieces of chicken it would be 20min without even giving us a suggestion to swap it for something else we had to ask if there was anything to swap it with. Then we went back on the Sunday order 2 large meals was told 8 minute wait on chips that was ok it took 25min to get our order and the chips were cold. Either the staff are not getting trained correctly or they just don't care but we will not be going back there again

We should have read the reviews before stopping here. Only went through the drive through and ordered two Flayva wraps. The name should give it flavour but unfortunately chicken was dry hardy any sauce and the cheese is plastic cheese. Cost was $22:50 which I think is insane. Rang and gave feedback with the manager who was lovely and explained cheese has been changed over to plastic cheese and is out of our hands.

Warm cafe with comfortable chairs, and clean bathroom. Lunch was Turkish eggs - DELICIOUS, and the big brekky (GLUTEN FREE OPTION) also lovely with grilled halloumi 🥰. Thank you it really hit the spot.

Stopped here for brunch and it exceeded our expectations. So so good, great food. I got the Bangin Brunch Salad, i think it was called, and it was awesome, all the flavours worked really well together. The Sam I Am and Gen Z Avo Toast were also really good, especially the unique and iconic green eggs & ham that we thought was a great addition to the menu. Coffee was also really lovely ❤️

We had Turkish Eggs and Pancakes. Both were good. I recommend Turkish Eggs if you want to try something different.

Stopped for breakfast on our way home to the Sunshine Coast. Lovely cafe with a feature ambience. The coffee was excellent and the was food delicious. My husband and I would say it's one of the best breakfast we've had. My husband had the Sam I am and I has the vego stack with eggs.

I had dinner at The Little Larder, the menu is Indian with many vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Restaurant setting is beautiful, clean and tidy. I ordered chicken Karahi. Service was fast, food presentable. Food arrive ,Few tiny chicken pieces in the dish, prefer a generous amount of chicken especially this is a non-vegetarian dish. You have to order rice and naan bread. $36 for a chicken curry with almost no chicken is too much

Great little park right near the library and swimming pool. Nice playground, shade and comfy seating.

Well great for small kids. Fountain and duck sculptures are cute. Carved stone seats are works of art. Well they are near the art gallery.

I was born in Stanthorpe & lived across the road from Weeroona Park in the old Police House which no longer exists. My older siblings would take me on visits to the park & walks in the Stroller down Marsh Street and Quart Pot Creek. Plenty of memories here.

A lovely park to have a picnic, with swings for the kids. In the centre of town in the library and art gallery precinct.

What a super cute place to dine. The place looked really good and the atmosphere worked with the theme. We went for breakfast 🍳. It was fairly busy. The food didn’t take too long to come out but they did forget to bring out my juice. My partner had the love ❤️ shack stack. It was delicious 🤤. Very tasty 😋 quality ingredients . I had the build your own breakfast with bacon egg and toast. I really appreciate when that option is available as a lot of times I prefer to do this. I do feel that it was a little under staffed on our visit. The team were struggling to clean off tables. Overall I think it’s definitely a great please to stop and visit. I would recommend you pay a visit.

What a great find! We stopped in for coffee and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly, the place was spotless, and the food hit the spot. It’s not every day you come across somewhere this good in an outback Queensland town. A real gem—definitely worth a visit!

Awesome burger joint. We went here twice in 2 days as we all wanted to try more burgers. Chips snd burger rings were also good. On the main st in Stanthorpe. Parking can be a pain but its not that far too walk if you park in a side street. Service was reasonably quick even though they were fully booked out on both visits.

The atmosphere was incredible, as soon as we walked in it was like we walked into a completely different world. I had the little Richard on a gluten free bun, the bun was very soft and I really enjoyed it and my partner had the fats domino and he enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next time we’re passing through!

Greeted with a 'hello' when we walked in the door and 'have a great day' when we left, so fantastic staff for a starter. Expansive menu to suit most people's needs and the food was fresh, hot and delivered to the table in no time. The cherry on the top of the chocolate thick shake was figuratively and literally the cherry on the top of our meal.

Stumbled on this place after my disastrous breakfast up the road. The service was friendly and the lamb masala pie was delicious. Their sourdough was also lovely. Great custard in the vanilla slice and the cookies also yummy. Wide variety and not over price which is good.

I have tried the famous apple pie but I was not as good as I expected. It was served cold :( at least should be served warm. Quite sweet as well.

Service was quick even though they were really busy. Only ordered the apple pie but they have a vast range of baked goods including artisan breads for sale. Apple pie...Good pastry but falls apart easily and nice filling but very mushy. Personally I prefer apple chunks but it did have a good amount of cinnamon.

This is why we travel from Brisbane! The best local apple pies in Stanthorpe! $9 includes icecream and cream = unbeatable! Highly recommend!!

The curry goat pie - just sensational with really lovely flaky pastry. The apple / walnut scroll just amazing. Passing through on a very chilly lunch time and this place ticks all the boxes.

Nice cafe that produces a variety of pastries, sandwiches and other baked goods. There are a variety of sweet pastries and tarts available, as well as a selection of beef cheek pies that are very delicious. The pastry on the pies is done perfectly. I also had the opportunity to try one of their brownie sliced which was also very tasty. It was also not too sweet. The layout of the cafe is nice and airy with both ample indoor seating as well as some tables out the front of the cafe. Prices are around $5+ for anything pastry related and about your regular $4-$7 for coffees and other drinks.

First time in Stanthorpe, a beautiful park can walk around,lovely walking paths and a great location.

A very friendly man helped us with great local knowledge. Scribbled on a map all the things he thought we would enjoy visiting. Buy some duck feed and feed the ducks!

And... if you're travelling with your fur baby, don't worry, they're very welcome and may be treated like royalty too.

Lovely ducks to say hello too a peaceful park to eat lunch. You can purchase duck food at the information centre for $2 a bag....please don't feed them breads and rubbish.

Really nice, no complaints. You can fish the lake! Nice area for the family and kids to run around. Snacks, drinks and clean facilities. Friendly volounteers. My little one didnt want to leave, restful stop and not bad coffee.

Both explained very well with details of step by step to go places around Stanthorpe. Yes thank you for duck food for feeding ducks our kids enjoyed a lots with ducks at river & sharing grapes 🍇 too

The volunteer was a huge help in giving us idea of things to do in Stanthorpe. With maps and brochures it helped make our visit as good as it was. Located right next to the park with the giant thermometer.

What a fabulous restaurant, it’s very obvious the chef is passionate about food. Each course was amazing and had its own flavour profile. Finished with a dessert that knocked it out of the park ! Service was outstanding too and I loved how the focus was local. BYO will definitely visit again.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Essen Restaurant in Stanthorpe, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of outstanding. The set menu, which can be tailored to accommodate food allergies and dietary preferences, is a testament to the chef’s creativity and skill. Every course — from the entrées through to the dessert — was brilliantly cooked, beautifully presented, and absolutely bursting with flavour. The highlight for us was the flathead, which was cooked to perfection. Each segment of the fish was expertly prepared — moist, tender, and full of delicate flavour. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every dish. The service was equally impressive. With only one front-of-house staff member on the floor, we were blown away by her warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the menu. She struck the perfect balance between attentive service and genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. The BYO option is another great touch, allowing guests to bring their favourite wine to enjoy with the meal — a thoughtful addition in a region known for its local wineries. While there was a table of younger diners nearby who chose a louder, more boisterous approach to their evening, it didn't overshadow what was otherwise a sophisticated, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Essen is a true gem in the Granite Belt — refined yet unpretentious, and passionately committed to delivering high-quality food in a warm, welcoming setting. We can't wait to return.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Essen on Thursday night. This restaurant is so welcoming and cosy, you 100% will be impressed by the amazing service and absolutely delicious locally sourced food! Amy, our waitress, was so lovely, friendly, and helpful. This restaurant is BYO (which we loved), and the staff were very accommodating. The set menu was a lovely change from thinking about what to order. All of the dishes were so delicious and well thought out. Every plate of ours taken back to the kitchen was practically licked clean. I could not recommend Essen enough, and this restaurant is definitely one we will visit over and over again. 5 out of 5 absolutely!!!

This is a special experience in Stanthorpe. The food quality is far above any restaurant you will find anywhere else. Local produce dictates what you will have on your menu and it is fresh and exciting. The service is beautiful and we highly recommend for an exceptional experience in Stanthorpe.

Great hotel, recently renovated and very modern. Has all the amenities and was one one the best places I’ve stayed in Queensland. Although the tv took some getting used to 😜 The onsite EV charger was handy

Beautifully Renovated with king size beds which certainly more than fill the room. This is one time when a queen would be better and then a second seat in the room rather than the table and two seats outside the room, 1m from the car parking, seems a real compromise. Bathroom fresh and clean. Perfect for those that just want to sleep shower and leave.

Just lovely! Amazing beds, spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Lots of little “extras” such as fresh milk for tea and coffee and water beside the beds.

The Granite Belt Motel is a perfect small motel. It is in a quiet but convenient location. It has been redecorated very stylishly and with great thought to the comfort of guests. The bed is big, the bathroom has a rain head shower, the colours are restful and the room is compact but organised efficiently. The owners and staff were welcoming and provided excellent information about local attractions, services and facilities. We stayed one night but will be back for a longer stay.

In my 20 years of being in Queensland, this pizzas joint has been the very best of all! Do not let the older style shop put you off. We came a few times 2 years ago, and again this time!! They never disappoint, the same caring cooks! The same awesome food, thankyou for giving us something to look back on!! I hope we get back here before we leave Australia soon!

Absolutely loved our visit to Slaps Espresso House! We were served by a young man who gave us fantastic service. Friendly, efficient, and made us feel really welcome. The coffee was amazing. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The ambience was great, relaxed and inviting. Excellent prices for the quality. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Great food and generous portions. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a mega breakfast and a truckers breakfast. Prices were very reasonable. We ate on a week day mid morning so it wasn't too busy. Well done team.

Excellent service, very fast especially considering the large amount of customers they have. Their value for money is exceptional, you will not get this much great food for this price anywhere else. It seems all the locals are aware of this as the place is packed.

I ordered the vegetarian breakfast this morning and was left disappointed with the meal. The baked beans were stone cold — while the menu didn’t specify whether they’d be served hot or cold, one would reasonably expect them to be hot, especially given the climate. Additionally, the mushrooms listed on the menu were missing entirely from the plate. While the scrambled eggs were nicely done, they weren’t enough to elevate the overall impression of the dish. On a positive note, the kitchen appeared clean and well-maintained during service, which is reassuring. The front-of-house staff were friendly and welcoming. However, it seems the kitchen is currently letting the business down. That said, the service team should also be catching these issues before meals reach the table. A bit more attention to detail from both sides would go a long way.

I've been to Slaps a number of times before, the coffee, food and donuts we're always very good. When I was back in Stanthorpe recently I naturally picked Slaps, it was my first choice. That was probably the worst idea I've had in the last ten years. We just had coffee and donuts. The coffee was drinkable but not very hot and not very strong. The donuts we're the worst I have ever had. They were made fresh, but they took forever. We had finished our coffees before they came out. They were odd shapes, some were just squashed balls without a hole, others were very skinny. They were covered in a ton of sugar. I threw most of them away. Both my wife and I were sick later that day after eating at Slaps. I can no longer recommend this place and I will never return.

My favourite cafe to have a delicious breakfast and great coffee when I’m visiting Stanthorpe. The mushrooms are so delicious! The staff are always friendly and serve with a smile. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Food and coffee was good, but having to wait 35 minutes for our food was not, especially when they weren't very busy.

The service was super friendly. The cooking was home style. We ordered a good old fashioned toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich plus a burger and fries. Very tasty, great size and pretty quick to deliver. We’d recommend this as a good place for lunch. Top it off with good coffee and a range of home made cakes. Not for the calorie conscious 😀

Busy Cafe with plenty of staff. Great menu, generous meals - both pasta dishes were home cooked with flavour! Cakes (included several vegan) looked fresh and again - generous serves. There is a toilet on premises. Easy to park and find.

Could not get a bacon and egg toasted sandwich right, or two iced coffees. Sandwich was so dry with over half the sandwich with no filling in. Iced coffee was asked with cream and icecream, got nothing. Will never eat here again.

We went to this place based on a tourist article stating it was good. When making the booking they made it seem they were doing us a favour to “squeeze” us in because they were so booked up. We arrived, were seated and waited an exceptionally long time to have anyone come to the table. We were two adults and one child. We ordered two soft drinks, a glass of wine and water for the table. One of the water glasses still had lipstick on it. The wine glass was also dirty. For our meal we decided to share a starter and a main. We ordered the spinach and ricotta cannelloni (starter) and the “creamy”fettuccine carbonara (main) explaining to them that we would be sharing. We also ordered the garlic rolls. Again an exceptionally long wait for the food. The main (fettuccine) came out first, before the starter (cannelloni). A giant bowl in the middle of the tiny table. We repeated to the server that we were sharing and would need bowls. Aside from all of that, the fettuccine was brown and watery looking. The server came back out with one bowl. One. We sent her back to get two more for the other two people at the table 🙄 The main came out before the starter. Then the they brought the cannelloni out. With absolutely no room on the table. The server was trying to cram it onto the corner of the table under my elbow. I took it from her and held it in my hand and she just stood there with a blank look then walked away. I served up the cannelloni into our bowls and put the large dish aside on their out of use buffet. Both dishes were lukewarm at best. Waiting that long for our meals, they should have been hot. The tomato sauce in the cannelloni was lacking flavour and depth. It was runny and weak. But the most horrific part was the so-called creamy fettuccine carbonara. There was an odd indescribable flavour in this dish. There was nothing creamy about this brownish sauce on the pasta. The pancetta looked undercooked and was not cut into manageable bites, as they were large pieces. It was a bit gross. The dish was inedible. Note the photos. One photo is how fettuccine carbonara is supposed to look. The other, Anna’s. This is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend.

We liked the stuffed mushroom entree and the bread. The pasta was soft and a bit over cooked. But the service and atmosphere were great.

I was on my own. They placed me in a good single table. I had minestrone first and then cannelloni. Minestrone was exceptional. Cannelloni was also good but I thought the mince was too fatty. I prefer pasta with lean beef. I also had two glasses of local wine. The waitress was very good in advising on wine selection. The bull came to $75. Very reasonable. The restaurant is in a big Queenslander with a nice cosy ambience.

The portions are absolutely MASSIVE so don’t be deterred by the prices. Food was pretty good but I felt like my spaghetti marinara didn’t have that much flavour and the carbonara had an interesting flavour, I’ll say that. Atmosphere was good and the service was great!

We were a table of 12. Orders were taken on time. There was no manager or anyone in charge of the table, making sure service was in time. I had to request table clearance, One person comes clears a few plates and disappears. Then I had to remind again. Total chaos. Food portions are enormous, I have been here many times before but this time was not good. Even while settling the bill, she never asked if everything was okay. It takes very little to destroy a good reputation Very sad. Not sure I will come again.

What a lovely meal!! So absolutely impressed with the quality at this lovely restaurant… I had the carbonara while my husband had the marinara, our little girls had the spaghetti… we also had the mushrooms as well as garlic bread as an entree and a bottle of local red wine. Service was impeccable, serving sizes were huge and pricing was exceptionally reasonable. A really lovely dining experience thanks to lovely staff (despite a busy evening with the restaurant mostly full!) Thankyou so much, you should be so proud of this amazing restaurant!!

We dined in last Friday. If you're looking for delightfully awesome portion sizes, that taste delicious and at a great price, you need to go to Anna's Restaurant in Stanthorpe!! The service staff were lovely, the atmosphere and Restaurant was so welcoming and the food was so yummy!! We ordered 2 entrees (forgot to take pics, it was eaten to quickly) to share between 4 of us and our mains were mouth-watering! Definitely 100% recommend Anna's and can't wait to go back!!

The Red Bridge in Stanthorpe is a chill little spot for a walk. The track winds along the creek, and it’s super peaceful with trees, rocks, and water views. 15 minutes walk from the visitor centre,great for a quick escape or a slow wander, definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby.

May 2025 Park at the end of Red Bridge Circuit and then it’s just a short walk down to the path that leads to the red bridge 🙂 Very short walk - just a couple minutes The bridge is beautiful and the workmanship is very impressive. It’s such a shame it’s been vandalised.

This is an excellent place to go on a hot summer's day. Follow Quart Pot creek upstream (following the walking path) and you can't go wrong. Your doggos will love you for taking them!

What an absolute gem! So many interesting things to see; you could easily spend hours wandering around the beautiful and well maintained yards and houses. It is fully pet friendly and I was able to take my dog through the whole museum. Highly recommend a visit!

We were pleasantly surprised with this museum and so glad that we went. It has a great range and is presented so well. There were so many things we hadn’t seen before. I loved the personal touches of local history and the extra snippets of information to go alongside the exhibits.

An interesting place to go to. With a lot of history behind them as well. It's wheelchair friendly. They only take cash, so make sure you have $10 in your wallet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend going to have a look at. 🙂🙂

Bill was one of the care takers on Saturday and absolutely a lovely man. If he wasn't wearing modern clothes you'd swear he was from a bygone era. This place has got to be seen to be believed! Hats off to all the care takers and volunteers of this museum. Probably the best I've seen yet in local artifacts and well maintained history. You have got to see this place for yourselves. You won't be sorry. I paid $7 and it was the best spend I've had in a real long time.

The best smelling and quality soaps, this is my second batch and love them so much. So quick to arrive considering the soaps are posted from rural, ordered Monday night and i already have them arriving today.

Loved visiting Washpool. Could’ve bought everything in there. Highlights were the divine bath bombs, salts, soaps and natural skin care ranges. All natural ingredients to feed your skin and make you glow. Staff are so warm and friendly. Bought gifts for everyone! Highly recommend a visit.

Recently I visited this place along with my family. Our experience was very good. The strawberries are bit pricy ($20 per kilo) but they were so tasty. My kid is not a fan of strawberries, but he ate almost 1/4 of a kilo. We tried strawberry milkshake as well, it was also yummy. It is quite far from Brisbane but we will visit next year for sure.

We took our toddler to this farm yesterday, and he had the best time! The strawberries were fresh and delicious, the ice cream was amazing, and the staff were all super friendly. On top of that, everything was very affordable. All in all, it’s a fantastic 10/10 experience for families with young children.

Ashbern Farm is simply excellent. If you’re looking for fresh strawberries this is the place to go. Either enjoy a stroll through the rows of strawberries and pick your own or take the earlier route and buy fresh picked strawberries straight from the fridge. While you’re there why not indulge in a strawberry waffle cone or cup, amazing

We had a great time here! You get a container to fill with fresh strawberries, and my child loved picking them straight. We finished up with a strawberry ice cream before heading off. Overall, a very fun and enjoyable activity.

Strawberries not too bad. Picked not very ripe and not much taste. Quite a bit of waste cut out to get something edible. Says grown in Australia and has what looks like 100%. Shame really looks like packaging comes from China. Maybe content from Australia bit less than they claim?

The sign on the New England highway says open October to May. Get to the gate says closed. A closed sign on the highway would be very helpful. It is very difficult to turn around on a narrow road when towing a caravan. This is the third time this has happened in the last couple of years. We won't be trying again.

Staying at the attached motel so booked here for dinner, expecting a regular decent dinner. What we got was way beyond that. Local produce cooked to perfection with a staggeringly good local wine. Very friendly staff improved the experience further. Loved it and will come again. Be prepared for steak, unashamedly a steak house and definitely a high quality one!

We enjoyed our visit to Aussie Beef Steakhouse and look forward to visiting again in the future. My Eye Fillet steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it, and the meal was great. We were taken to our table quickly and the service was great with our orders taken and delivered in good time.

I will travel 3 hours to eat here again! We were in the area on holiday, dropped in and even though we didn't have a booking they squeezed us in and damn am I glad - best steak I've had in years. Great variety of local brews and wines, the lovely waitress even wrote my fav wines down on a card for me

We stayed here and ate at the restaurant. It was cold and they did not even have the fire going. The biggest let down was that they only bought out a main meal for one of us even though we had ordered two. There only comment we could make you one but it will take a further 15 minutes. A bit sad when my wife already had her meal. On paying the bill no apology or not even offering complementary drinks and we only had a soft drink and 1 wine. Pretty ordinary

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and were completely disappointed. Both steaks weren’t cooked correctly and tough, veggies arrived to our table stone cold and when we spoke to the waitress she ignored what we said and didn’t offer any help or service. Will not be returning can get a better steak at the pub definitely didn’t get what we paid for.

Easy enough to book a table over the phone. Arrived at their opening time of 5.30pm. By the time I left an hour later, the restaurant was beginning to fill up. Very cosy inside with a warm fire, keeping it toasty inside. A much enjoyed respite from the cold outside. Service was excellent from the moment I arrived. I tried 2 of their cocktails, the Blue Lagoon and the Toblerone. Both were delicious. I also ordered the chefs suggestion entree, bacon, and cheese croquettes. I tried the chilli aioli as the accompanying sauce, and while it was nice, it had a little too much heat for me, although I'm not a huge chilli enthusiast. I've driven past here many times and always wanted to try, glad I did definitely worth a visit, especially in the winter time.

My suggestion would be, before booking, ask if there are large groups booked, if so, I suggest you go else where. 50 minutes for entrees ( mine came first and husbands arrived after I finished ) not exactly the date night dinner I was expecting. Main, husband’s steak was cooked well, my medium rare ( thicker cut ) was more rare towards the centre, asked for a side salad as “ extra “ it came dumped on the plate along with the steamed veg and mash. Didn’t bother with desserts as we didn’t want the extended wait times ( not the waitress’s fault ) but when you are booking large tables , perhaps stagger the bookings ? Or schedule more staff in the kitchen.

Delicious Thai food. Loved the cashew nut stir fry. I felt the spring rolls were a tad disappointing but wow the mains are good... The decor/atmosphere is lacking, but luckily the food well makes up for it. Will be an even better dining experience with a bit more styling. Friendly service, big portions for reasonable prices. This place was a nice little surprise on our trip to Stanthrope. Recommend!

Stopping by to this Thai restaurant otw to Tenterfield. You can easily find the shop as it located in the middle of the town. Near to Bondigo Bank. The food was good and delicious, compliment to the chef that day! We tried the Beef red Thai curry, Vegetable stir fry with lamb and also Chicken Tom Yum soup. All are a must try when you come here. You can request for more spicy or adjust based on your liking too! Please try their coconut rice. The portions for me are quite generous. The service was okay. The staff were very helpful too. The interior restaurant looks like an old place, but still okay for me. Theres plenty space to sit, eventho in peak hours we do not need to wait. Overall I have a good experience eating here with my friends and hopefully gonna come back here again in the future. Good job and keep up the good work mate!

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant was clean, and the calm atmosphere made it an ideal setting for a quiet family meal. Prices were reasonable, and we appreciated being able to bring our own wine, with glasses thoughtfully provided. Convenient parking was available right outside the restaurant, which was a bonus. The only minor disappointment was the limited dessert selection—only ice cream was available, and we had been looking forward to trying the fried ice cream. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we will definitely be returning.

The most delicious Thai food i have ever had (even better than in Thailand)the flavours were amazing, the portion size was just right and the service was amazing. We are not local to Stanthorpe but will definitely be stopping in on any future adventures through Stanthorpe.

A big ask to give 5 stars but I really couldn't find anything wrong or lacking and plenty of pluses including price. Two attached photos show what is left of the meal! Nothing. My Red Curry chicken and small rice smelled so good I actually forgot to take a picture. Very generous portion size also. My wife's old Thai staple, Pad Thai, was also of generous size and spot on taste and texture. She just added a little chili to her usual taste. Interaction with staff was good and they were attentive and friendly too. This place has food with the taste that we used to get in a few places in Brisbane, but alas, not any more. So this little place in a little town like Stanthorpe, is a treasure to find. Summary: We will definitely be back. We want to work our way through some more of their menu.

Disappointed with Repeated Mistakes* I’ve ordered online from Stanthorpe Domino’s multiple times and even made a point to call the store directly to confirm that my order is strictly vegetarian, as my family and I are vegetarians. Despite this, my pizza has still arrived with bacon and pepperoni three times now. It's incredibly frustrating to have the same mistake happen repeatedly, especially after personally reaching out to ensure my order was correct. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and improves its attention to detail, as this is unacceptable for customers with dietary restrictions.

In Stanthorpe for the weekend, it was about 7pm and the worms were biting. With only 3 options by the looks of it on franchised tucker, we headed for the chicken joint up the road as the golden arches was eaten for breakfast. We drove in to find not a single car, not a good sign. So we decided on pizza. Well this is a much better sign we thought on arrival. Full car park and people waiting for some delicious warm pizza inside aswell. We placed our order, hit up the bottleo across the road and it was pretty much done after that. Great staff, awesome pizza, what more could you ask for.

Arrived in swift time frame , pizzas were hot and fresh, with generous toppings, I wasn't sure about the cheesy base but had never tried before, alot of choices as well, I would recommend domino's stanthorpe a great way to grab a decent snack.

This order is the third in a row that has been wrong.. our latest turned up tonight missing 2 pizzas and 2 garlic breads, along with a dessert that yes we received but looked like it has been thru a stage of the WRC (world rally championship). Nothing wrong with the service offered by the delivery driver, and our one pizza is fantastic... It would be bloody great though if someone could get it right. Last 2 times I drove down to pick up our missed order, not this time. Still waiting as of now. When you spend $70 on pizza for the fam, you expect the same thing you ordered turn up at your doorstep. No insults meant to the people just trying to make a living, but try reading the receipt before you deliver someone's order.

I came into dominos the other night, I ordered a loaded pepperoni pizza Wednesday night, a young man with long golden hair served me and said what’s up then continued to be rude, I then got my pizza and there was a long golden hair, it was disgusting, seeing it made me sick, I noticed everyone but him wearing a hairnet, I will not be returning to this “clean “pizza place”
