Shopping mall
Orion Springfield Central is a contemporary shopping destination that boasts an impressive array of major retail outlets, restaurants, a cinema and a grocery store. The complex offers both indoor and outdoor settings and ample parking, as well as additional amenities such as an off-leash dog park, kids' swimming lagoon, shower facilities and clean public toilets. Visitors can enjoy diverse options for dining and shopping, while children can play in the beautiful designated area or swim in the pool.
Great place to hang out!!! Orion Mall is a vibrant shopping destination offering a wide range of stores, dining options, and entertainment. With a mix of local and international brands, it caters to all your shopping needs. The food court serves a variety of cuisines, and there are also restaurants for a more upscale dining experience. For entertainment, the mall features a cinema and regularly hosts events and promotions. A standout feature is the well-maintained swimming pool, providing a relaxing and family-friendly space to unwind. It’s clean, with great amenities, making it the perfect spot to cool off after a day of shopping or dining. Ample parking is available, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A minor suggestion would be to improve signage inside for easier navigation. Overall, Orion Mall is a fantastic spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment, with the added bonus of a great pool to enjoy!

To the parents of two young boys Today, while we were eating outside Vapiano at Orion with our baby, two boys started throwing paper balls at us. At a family with a BABY. We actually approached them a couple of times to tell them to stop. Instead of showing any remorse, they flat-out denied it and even waved at us to mock and annoy us further. The smaller kid even said, how’s your baby? Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. I don’t know who their parents are, but please have a serious word with them. This is not “kids being kids.” It’s dangerous, disrespectful, and shows a complete lack of manners. What if one of those is a rock and hits my baby? What if they think it’s acceptable to treat other people this way? We left shocked and angry. Parents, teach your children accountability and empathy. This type of behaviour is unacceptable in our community, and it will only get worse if it’s ignored.

It's impressive and wonderful, a very large and beautiful shopping center with a design of streets with shops on both sides. There is a playground and a swimming pool for children, trees everywhere, if you have small children, they will love to play and exercise here, if you need a place to eat, there are many restaurants here, if you have time to shop, you can spend the whole day exploring and shopping and when you need to rest, there will be many beautiful, relaxing and natural spaces for you to recover and find peace.

Family friendly atmosphere and a good variety of shops. Love the Xmas decorations. Very festive. Some tables and umbrellas near the fountain would creative a lovely Piazza through the summer months.

I love coming here with my friends and spending lots of time with them either shopping, swimming, eating, or watching a movie I would always come here with my friends or family to spend time with them and even have barbecues. I have had lots of fun memories with my friends here

A One-Stop Destination for Shopping, Dining, and Family Fun! This place has it all—endless shops, great activities, and something for everyone! Whether you're grabbing groceries, browsing for essentials, or just enjoying a leisurely stroll, you’ll find plenty to do. The dining options are fantastic, with heaps of delicious food choices, and it’s super kid-friendly too! Parking is convenient, with options both on the ground level and underground. Just a heads-up: the underground parking has a single entry/exit point, so keep an eye out for the way out. Other than that, navigating the mall is a breeze. Best of all, it’s a true one-stop spot—you can shop, dine, run errands, and even handle your banking, all in one trip. Highly recommended!

Robelle Domain is a sprawling park located behind Orion Lagoon on Education City Dv. It offers a variety of attractions, including a zero-depth water park with a large tipping bucket and jet sprays, as well as playgrounds and sports fields. The park features lush greenery, walking tracks, and picnic areas with barbecue facilities. Visitors can also enjoy the convenience of an onsite cafe for refreshments.
We go here all the time. The gardens are huge and very well looked after. There are plenty of picnic tables, free bbq's and a splash park. There is a lovely concrete walkway that winds its way around this large park. We see plenty of walking each morning

Awesome park, cameras for safety, family and pet friendly, water park for kids, great walking tracks, shopping centre across the road.

I live nearby and often come here — it’s a perfect spot for kids to cool off during the summer. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the facilities are well-maintained and not too old. It’s truly a great place to let the kids play and have fun!

I mainly visit here to walk my dog. The gardens are so inviting and it's wonderful to be able to walk along side the stream, and let my dog have a play in the running water (on leash). As part of the gardens, there are picnic and BBQ areas, and a wonderful water play space. There is a great little cafe, which is dog friendly. I also have gone for walks through the University which adjoins the gardens. It is a wonderful place to restore your body and soul in nature.

great outdoor area, but the young teen boys on the electric bikes and electric scooters have been harassing the womans workout program on a wendesday afternoon and the pokemon go players on the weekends and wednesday afternoons since april this year. please do something about them. they also do donuts on the dirt and it picks up dirt and could affect pokemon go players and other visitors with asthma. please do something. it got to the point where they threatened the womans workout coach by saying they would punch her and one of the adults from the pokemon go group had to step in.

If your looking for a playground that has water features for the kids to play and have fun as well as all the latest park equipment for kids then you need to go to ‘Robelle Domain’. It’s a beautiful park which is situated near the Orian Shopping Centre. Make a day of it as there is ample of greenery to have a picnic with beautiful scenery as well as barbecue facilities. Really great place for the kids to have fun, kids to get a little wet if they chose to and just a relaxing place for us parents to watch over the kids.

Ipswich Nature Centre, situated in the picturesque Queens Park, is a must-visit destination offering an up-close encounter with native Australian wildlife. The center houses over 42 species and approximately 200 animals including dingoes, bilbies, wallabies, water dragons, and a petting zoo. Visitors can explore lush gardens and nature exhibits representing local bushland and flora communities.
This is such a great little gem within Queen's Park. Only a gold coin donation is required for a fun filled activity for the kids. The kids had a great time looking for lizards, water dragons, spiders and bats (just watch where you walk so you don't end up pooped on!). A few snakes, a wombat, some wallabies and turtles, as well as a mini farmyard and aviary round out this excellent venue. Across the road is a well-rounded playground catering to littlies and bigger kids aswell. Facilities provided include his and hers toilet blocks with drinking fountain and there is a café on site too. For those with a green thumb, the Ipswich council has a presence at the nursery also. Would definitely visit again when we're in the area.

What a great space. Nice easy boardwalks so easily accessible. Entry is just a voluntary gold coin donation in a box at the gate. Lots of animals I didn't expect to see like dingo's and a wombat, even a wedge tail eagle. There is also a free flight aviary you can walk around and there were so many birds in there. Then, just a short walk across the road to the cafe for coffee and lunch.

Just wanted to get out, and get some fresh air. And this place has been on my to visit list. And I am very pleased, that I decided to come here. It is a very pleasant place. And haveing, animals and birds to see was just a bonus. A little busy, as the school holidays are on. But I will definitely be suggesting this place to others for a visit

Amazing adventure, free (😍) and perfect experience. Really nice place to enjoy with family, picnic area, safety, nice animals. Trust me, you'll enjoy. 😊
Iago V — Google review
I really liked the place, it's very simple, but I think it's worth going once and getting to know it and if you live nearby it's even a cool place to go more often, it has many different animals, it has a cute aviary, a cute mini farm and there's a place to see two nocturnal animals which is very interesting too.
Brenno G — Google review
Less variety of Australian animals compared to previous visit. A number of the display areas had no animals. They installed some cover over walkways due to bats roosting in the centre. Some of the boards in the walkway have rotted so are a tripping hazard. Don't come too early as they are cleaning some of the enclosures and animals are elsewhere.
Anders S — Google review
Such a precious find. Incredibly lucky to have this so close to us. They have a fantastic reading trial for the 4-8 year olds, Aussie animals that are well taken care of and a fantastic day out. Thank you Ipswich ❤️

Park
Queens Park Ipswich is a delightful nature center located in the heart of Ipswich. It's home to a variety of native animals, including emus, wallabies, quolls, and the endangered Bilby. The park features spacious areas with plenty of shade and well-designed playgrounds suitable for different age groups. Visitors can also enjoy a walk-through bird aviary and interact with farm animals like Dexter the cow.
Beautiful gardens, includes the Lions Lookout & Nerima Gardens (no dogs allowed), there is also a Garden Centre & Queens Park Cafe
Sabine C — Google review
It's a huge park full of trees and flowers with beautiful landscape. Car parking is allowed inside the park hence there is no problem for parking. In winter the park looks really colourful and elegant. The water bodies, Nature Centere with birds and animals, Green Houses with tropical plants, vast lawns, cafe and washrooms make the park more attractive for all. Social gatherings, photo shoot sessions can be arranged here nicely.
Sitikantha M — Google review
A wonderful free activity to take the kids too. Really lovely animal sanctuary and beautiful cafe with amazing food options. Plenty of parking and lovely green spaces to enjoy.
Leeann T — Google review
We visited early on a Friday morning around 5:30am to photograph the full jacaranda blooms. The area was practically empty at that time, which made it perfect for peaceful photography. The Lions Lookout itself feels a bit outdated and could definitely use some renovation. Some of the signage also looks worn and could be refreshed. It’s a small park overall, and we wouldn’t make a special trip just to visit—except during jacaranda season when it’s truly worth it.

I was looking for a place to go for a walk after lunch. And this place was suggested to me a while ago. I was surprised to find an area, that had animals and birds on display. And this definitely made my walk a lot more relaxing, and enjoyable. There is a playground forchildren, and plenty of parkland to enjoy picnic. A very enjoyable experience

Came today for a family breakfast and the two girls who are on staff this morning are exceptional. Their service is wonderful and has made the experience a joy. Food and coffee is great too, which is always a plus. Thanks ladies for making our day.

Great place to visit The animals were amazing to look at. Great job in the upkeep of this park.
Kelly R — Google review
A beautiful park especially when the Jacarandas are in bloom as they are now. Plenty of facilities, parking , shade trees and a great little cafe situated in the centre of the park. It will be a 5 star when they decide to remove the stinky and noisy bats that you need to wear a hat as pooing on one's head isn't fun. If you take your beloved canine, please don't let them lick or eat anything as bat excretion is harmful ( deadly,) to your dog. If you can cope with that that then do visit.

Grill'd Springfield offers a fantastic variety of burgers and sliders that are made with carefully sourced ingredients, including options for those on a low-carb diet. Although the order-at-the-table feature was not functioning, customers could easily place their orders at the front desk. The Grill'd Relish rewards scheme experienced technical difficulties during the visit, preventing customers from registering their orders. Despite some minor cleanliness issues under the table, service was pleasant and efficient at the front desk.
I stopped in at 9:30pm, shortly before they closed for the night while waiting for EB Games Nintendo Switch 2 midnight launch and sheepishly asked if they were still open. Was greeted and politely informed that they were open for takeaway only which was perfect for me. They asked what I wanted, and I said i honestly didn't know and asked for a recommendation, and the team member serving kindly went through some options for me. I really appreciated their patience with me.

I recently visited Grill’d, a place famous for its wide variety of burgers. Tried the vegetarian garden burger, which was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh. The presentation of the burger was impressive, showing great attention to detail. I also had their potato chips, which were freshly prepared, crispy, and served in a generous portion—definitely a tummy-filling experience. The service at Grill’d was excellent too. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which added to the enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Pravalika U — Google review
Staff is friendly but it did take a while for our orders to arrive. They have service water and we were seated quickly. The burgers are good and fairly priced. We got sliders as well which are okay, but the buns are too dry. Would be great if same bun option as burger is available. We had the chips variety, the sweet potato and regular chips are done well but the zucchini chips were sloppy. Not sure if our order wasn’t done well or that’s just how it is since it was first time and perhaps last time we’re getting zucchini chips.
Gayle D — Google review
Burgers are nice and fresh. A tad on the expensive side but very tasty. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Some light music or a TV's might help with atmosphere
Colin A — Google review
First time at Grill'd today for dinner with a mate. We were quickly seated by a friendly young man who gave us an adequate rundown of the ordering process. We kept things simple, ordering a burger each (panini x 2, sweet chilli chicken and plant-based patty vegetarian), along with a side of their 'best ever' chips. Both burgers were pretty good, and I quite enjoyed mine. My mate did comment that his burger was plenty of salad but light on the meat. He still gave it a thumbs-up though. The chips, as per the Grill'd boast, were excellent; well seasoned, crunchy outside, fluffy and creamy inside. The premises are pretty cool, with a diner (booths included) vibe. Service was okay but limited. The interaction with staff, once seated, was restricted to removal of plates and a thank you from us. No enquiry as to our experience, and no farewell as we left the store. On an aside, and to support an older review regarding housekeeping/cleanliness, a sauce container was dropped in the middle of the floor near the entrance/service counter, leaving a sizeable dollop of sauce. After 10 minutes of multiple staff members walking past and around it, my mate left the table and cleaned it up himself, primarily as this was an accident waiting to happen. Even then, no acknowledgement from a single staff member. Overall, other than the very young staff needing some development and experience, this is a solid business with good quality meals. I had a positive experience and would not hesitate to return.

Ordered delivery. Had an issue with the driver who works through Door Dash (no fault of the restaurant). Contacted the store and the owner was so polite and understanding. We couldn’t be more grateful for how efficient and kind the team at Springfield is. The food was delicious as usual.

5 ⭐️s all the way! Courteous, welcoming & prompt service. Mix this with great healthy food, perfect lunch spot. Recommend 10/10
Shane C — Google review
Ate at Grille’d had two staff come to me twice to ask if I was ok , which was fine but the third time the waiter asked if I was done eating when I was clearly not done, but I choose to give him the plate and left. I really feel like I was being racially discriminated against as I was the only person of colour in restaurant at the time. And the only one to get that type of treatment. It really broke my heart because I love grille’d d and this not the first grille’d d restaurant I have been to and I was never treated like this at previous grille’d restaurants.

Cafe
Queens Park Cafe & Kiosk is a spacious, no-frills cafe located within the landscaped grounds of the state's oldest park. It offers an all-day breakfast until 2pm, featuring dishes like Canadian style French toast, waffles, hotcakes, and corn fritters. The cafe overlooks the city of Ipswich and provides an easy-going ambiance with a large menu suitable for the whole family. Additionally, it emphasizes minimizing its environmental footprint.
I’ve stopped here a few times after visiting the nature park with my kids, and it’s been a great experience each time. The team are friendly, the service is efficient and the food hasn’t disappointed. Today I had the nachos and they were absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, the flavour was spot on, and the menu offers a great variety of food and it’s very kid-friendly. Highly recommend.

Have been here many times. Great place to catch up with friends for some lunch . We had a chicken Caesar salad and a ham and salad sandwich. Both were delicious 🤤. Only one thing that was a bit disappointing was the bread on the sandwich was definitely not fresh. The filling was great. Look, I think I will over look it this time because it’s normally pretty good. The staff were really helpful. Service is always good.
ALLy B — Google review
The staff is super friendly and helpful, the location and view also great. The iced chocolate and coffee were also good. However, I wouldn’t recommend the carrot cake muffin, the dough is fine and it’s nice that they utilise various spices instead of just cinnamon, but the icing just doesn’t match and tastes a bit strange.

Demi, Miranda, the young bloke, (sorry didn't ask his name; next time) and team, were welcoming, down to earth, provided country hospitality and delicious well priced hot choccy with marshmallows and melting moment cookie, yum! They have an extensive food and drink menu. I give them 6 stars and a beautiful park to look out on from the side deck seating area or any part of the cafe deck.

Queens Park Cafe & Kiosk is a lovely spot for a casual outing. The location is perfect—right in the park, with plenty of greenery and space to relax. The café offers a good selection of food and drinks, from light snacks to hearty meals, all reasonably priced. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating makes it great for families and kids. It’s also very convenient to grab something quick from the kiosk while enjoying a walk in the park. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

Nice looking place but dont expect cheap food, everything is like bloody expensive, $30 for a bloody steak burger. not somewhere I'll come again, too rich fir a pensioner. And this is $7.50 worth of chips, lucky if its 1 potato very disappointed.

Went here on the weekend and spent $100 for a meal for 4 people. The service was good and food came out extremely fast. I tried to get some toast with two sides but they don’t do side with toast. Weird. So I added it to another meal on the table and got it on a different plate. First time ever I couldn’t order toast with sides at a cafe. $4 for a side of beans that was less than a tablespoon of beans (see pic on my saucer with teaspoon). What is that about?
April S — Google review
We came a long way to visit the area and have a take away lunch from this cafe. For $30 we were absolutely appalled with the size of the “Fisherman’s Basket”. One small piece of fish, two calamari, less than a palm size of chips and a small bland salad which included two old pieces of tomato. Highly disappointed and shocked at the cost for a measly sized meal. Do not recommend.

Urgent Concern Inappropriate Conduct by Security Staff. An extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate experience that occurred tonight, 1st August at around 8:32 PM, at Riverlink IPSWICH. After work, my partner and I visited Kmart to buy kitchen appliances. We both urgently needed to use the restroom, and since our home is about an hour away, we couldn’t wait. The female toilets appeared unavailable, so we used the unisex/staff toilet together briefly. Both of us had our hands full with items. I placed some of mine in the sink, but my partner continued holding his. I helped him for a moment while he used the toilet to avoid placing things on the floor, given the conditions. While inside, a male security officer suddenly pushed the door open without knocking or warning not once, but TWICE. He then said only one person is allowed at a time, though there were no signs to indicate this, and the restroom had no lock. We were left shocked and embarrassed by how it was handled. It felt invasive, unprofessional, and frankly, unsafe especially if it had been me using the toilet at the time. The lack of respect for privacy, especially from a male officer, was deeply uncomfortable and entirely avoidable. We felt dismissed, possibly underestimated due to our age, and treated without the basic courtesy everyone deserves in a public space. I hope this incident is taken seriously. Proper signage, a functioning lock, and better training in respectful communication are clearly needed to prevent something like this from happening again.

Good variety of grocery shops, clothing shops and general retail stores. Great quality restaurants and a large food court with plenty of seating, inside and out, with the view of the Bremer river. Place kind of smells (from the river) and a mix of sketchy people. Plenty of parking options and easy to access via public transport.

The shopping centre is easy to access with plenty of parking. My only criticism is they need more Information boards to assist customers with locating stores more easily.

Convention center
Ipswich Civic Centre is a beloved entertainment hub that has been hosting live music, community events, and theatrical shows for a long time. It's a popular destination for big-name bands, renowned comedians, plays, musicals, and more. The venue offers comfortable seating with slightly reclining seats on two levels - ground level and raised level downstairs. There's also a bar open outside the center for patrons to enjoy before the show.
Great venue to watch local actors and actresses get their performances on. Bar area and alfresco dining on the top deck. Clean and spacious. Parking is a bit of an issue with mostly paid street parking. I was surprised at the scale of performance this venue attracts and will be keeping an eye out for more plays in the future.

A bloody ripper concert by Ian Moss, acoustic version, also got to see Kasey Chambers and a new fella who was great who goes by the name of Dingo. Music sounded great in the civic centre. Beer prices were a little high, although overall we had a great night and it's a great venue

Nice theatre in the middle of Ipswich which often put on quality musical theatre shows. Floor seating is flat rows (not tiered), but the stage is raised pretty high so even the back of the floor seats still have good views. They need more female toilets though, the queue was very long before the show. And its street parking fill up quickly, but it was pretty easy to find available street parking 5-10 minutes away.

Went and saw a musical here was very good. Hard to find parking but nice place would return if there was something good showing

Great performance space. Staff helpful and friendly. Organised seating plan. The seats were fantastic. A welcome change from theatre that have hard plastic chairs.

All good except maybe a large car Park needed on site. Never had to walk too far anyway. The sound, lighting, seating and service seems fine.

I have recently been to the Civic Centre twice. It is good for concerts but the seating is terrible. I understand that the Stalls area is multi purpose but I could not get comfortable while sitting in that area.

Rafter & Rose is a charming inner-city cafe in Ipswich, offering both indoor and courtyard seating with a light, bright, rustic, and cozy atmosphere. The cafe's leafy garden seamlessly blends with the heritage part of the city, creating a picturesque setting.
Rafter & Rose is our families absolute favourite cafe in Ipswich. Mainly because of the atmosphere, it has such a unique vibe to it, it’s the perfect place to relax and have a coffee and a treat. The menu has a great range of options, the coffee is also excellent. We went the other day and had a cheesecake - and it was exceptional, not too strong or sweet, just mellow and delicious. Re: the desserts and cabinet options - the baked goods are always delicious and they have good variety. The Cuban sandwich was absolutley delicious! The potato rosti was just grated sweet potato which was not what I expected - but the breakfast was delicious regardless. The only small issue we have is sometimes it’s hard to find parking and we have to walk a fair bit to get to the cafe. If you need to be there at a specific time - leave 15 minutes to find parking and walk.

Just had a takeaway single shot espresso from Rafter & Rose—aromatic with fruity notes, crema was okay. Super busy spot but staff were polite, and the interior design is real nice. Great little place!

My first visit today with my sister to this amazing cafe. We both had the Rafter burger and a Matcha latte (also my first) The burger would be the most delicious I've ever tasted. Every part of the burger was so tasty. I loved that it wasn't served with chips, we were full and satisfied without them. 10/10 Please check them out, you won't be disappointed The only thing i can say is the toilet isn't wheelchair accessible, but many cafes aren't. In saying that, its the quirkiness of the toilet I really like, flowers, plants and cool signs.

An ad-hoc visit for 10:30am brunch. Amazing ambience and atmosphere, and the service was amazing! The barista was passionate (you could see it in her attention to detail) and the team were super helpful and attentive. We ordered the Waffles, a Kids Cheeseburger, Bircher Muesli, Eggs Benny and Brekkie burger. Food was great, but nothing that took me to the 5 star mark, but it was very enjoyable. The setting and decor was very calming and chill, inviting a relaxing meal with the family. Definitely worth a visit for a coffee and meal. Will try their lunch menu next time

Beautiful Place, Food was tasty, but pricey. $60 for 2 people 1 dog :) We enjoyed our time. It is dog friendly, and theres puppacinos and dog snacks :) The thing that mad me smile the most was a staff member asking if I would like a blanket :)

Ordered 2 eggs Benedict and a kids bacon and eggs. Waited 40 minutes for all food to arrive. Food was all cold and had been sat for a while. Eggs were not runny, hollandaise sauce tasted like vinegar and was very watery. General observations: waitress was rushing tables to leave after they had finished their food. Waitress was seating larger groups at tables asking them to sit to one end so she could seat someone on the other end but the group would easily take up the entire table. Toilet up the alleyway not far from tables where people were dining. Not sure I would like to smell someone having a dump while eating my overcooked eggs. Poor experience, poor food, coffee okay.

Rafter & Rose never fails! Delicious food, great coffee, and such a cosy vibe. My go-to is the house-made caramel—so good! Always a fave spot in Ipswich. 🌿☕🍰

Wish I had of gotten some photos of inside and the food cabinet. All the slices/cakes/treats were mostly Gluten Free, I ended up taking 4 different ones home, they were all delicious. My mother and myself are coeliac so got the toastie GF with a coffee for breakfast and it was so good. Another reason for picking this place was I only drink Macadamia mylk and they serve it, and the coffee was so good. We got in early prior to my daughter’s Eisteddfod competition and managed a stop for coffee and cake before heading back to the GC. Highly recommended and we will be back again next time 🤍

Nicholas Street Precinct in Ipswich is a thriving cultural, entertainment, and business hub that has undergone significant redevelopment. The area features high-quality restaurants and cafes, as well as special shops to complement the vibrant atmosphere. The precinct preserves the heritage of Ipswich through its architecture, refurbishments, artwork, and design. It also houses Australia's first dedicated children's library. Convenient parking with direct access to Tulmur Place makes it easily accessible for visitors.
Beautiful spot, plenty of spots to read a book, listen to the music, have a coffee and have a quiet chat with a friend. Modern, clean with vivid greenery. Parking is free up to 3 hours at a nearby built parking facility within a walkable distance (just a few minutes). Beautiful cafes around that offer great breakfast and lunch options, Vietnamese cuisine cafe, ice cream shops, library and much more. I was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful precinct, quiet, relaxing and tidy. Definitely recommended!

Limelight Cinemas Ipswich

Movie theater
Limelight Cinemas Ipswich is a cutting-edge multiplex showcasing the latest releases and independent films. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this cinema offers stadium seats and boutique screens for an elevated movie-watching experience. The staff are amiable and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant visit to this immaculate establishment. With reasonable prices that outshine other major cinemas, patrons can enjoy their favorite flicks without breaking the bank.
🎬🍿 It's movie time! Limelight Cinemas at Riverlink Shopping Centre has recently undergone a fantastic renovation, offering an array of seating options to suit everyone's comfort. From cozy day beds at the front—perfect for two—to general seating and luxurious recliners, there's a spot for everyone to enjoy. We watched the Minecraft movie, and it was a big hit with all the kids! While some jokes went over my head, I still had a great time. 😄🎮
Kez I — Google review
This is the only cinema currently in Ipswich. The viewings are limited particularly cult or limited release, here you'll only view mostly mainstream flicks. It's an excellent facility with great member deals and great theatres like the lounge with food options. My issue is the poor service from disinterested teenage employees. At times you'll get great service from a young person who actually looks you in the eye but it's rare. On my last visit the front ticket counter was so filthy with drink and popcorn remnants that I actually said "that's disgusting" but the guy that served me just shrugged instead of wiping the area. Couldn't even stand at the counter as there was no where clean to place the food I wanted to purchase, I stood to the side as it was so filthy. The toilets are also disgusting as no one goes in to check between movies. Toilet paper everywhere and soiled seats. A real let down. Neurodiverse✅ 😎 It's dark and loud, audio isolaters help if you're particularly sensitive to noise, but it's great for Neuro peeps. Access✅👩🏼‍🦽all abilities parking and accessibility is fantastic. Sealed pathways, a lift and areas for seating with mobility equipment. Spacious.

I don't get out much these days however I decided to go see "Superman", the movie was reasonably good however the Limelight Cinemas were excellent !! The place was clean, not overpriced and had that new car feel. I have to make special mention of one of the staff though, Charlie. Quintessentially one of the nicest people I have met, his service and manners were exemplary. Thank you Charlie for making the day memorable.

Very nice cinema. Tickets are not the expensive and the cinema is pretty much always clean. They have also changed the layout of the ground floor and added more pizazz to it which looks good. A pretty nice cinema 👍👍

Avoid at all costs. Limelight Ipswich was the worst cinema experience of my life. We will never return, following our alleged “Gold Class” experience. The staff were really rude. None of the food my family ordered arrived, and when we asked why, we got attitude from the staff. We were told it must be our fault for “not going to the counter” despite going to the counter on arrival and specifically telling them we had ordered food online and presenting our tickets when we ordered drinks. As the credits rolled, some of our food started arriving, and it became apparent that it was inedible. We reported all the problems to the manager, who offered no reason and just refunded our food while grunting at us and insisting we had to pay for the ruined movie. While he was doing this, a line of other customers were waiting to complain and demand refunds behind us. Sadly with the new cinema competition in Ipswich, I give Limelight a matter of months before it will be closed, and I suspect tonight was the nail in the coffin.
Kit J — Google review
Not as pricey as other cinemas and I'm always able to find a carpark. Staff are nice and the snack prices are reasonable as cinema snack prices can get.
Robert P — Google review
Booked for a 10am movie. The place doesn't open until 9:45am. Limited time to get tickets (even when brought online prior), food/drinks, go to the toilet, etc, before it starts. Was busy with a few movies starting at/around the same time. Other than that, it was a good experience. Staff friendly, not freezing inside, clean. Had normal seats (not recliners etc) but still comfortable. Tickets $30 for 1x adult and 2x children.

I’ve recently moved back to the area and went to watch a movie in limelight’s gold session at 7pm. I was really disappointed when I attempted to get another drink at 8pm when everything was closed down and there were no staff visible. Even though I could hear them laughing out loud back, I rang the small bell and someone attended. I asked they said they were shut and I should try the front, I walk out to the front section and there is no one to be seen. However another customer was waiting I asked how long she had been waiting for without service, she said 10 minutes. I then proceeded to walk back into the so called gold lounge section and ring the bell again, telling them that there was no staff at the front and someone else was waiting. The staff member replied with just be closed as well. Very poor considering it’s there premium session, guess I’ll be going to event at Orion from now on.

Ruby Chews Burgers & Shakes, located at Riverlink, is a delightful spot offering a variety of mouthwatering burgers and shakes. The restaurant has reopened for dining with a scenic balcony overlooking the Bremer River, allowing groups of up to 10 people. They also provide takeaway and delivery options through Uber Eats.
You guys said Ruby Chews 🍔🔥 has the best burgers in Ipswich, so I had to check them out—and wow, you weren’t wrong! I had an absolutely delicious, mouth-watering burger 🤤 so good! Since Ruby Chews is inside Limelight Cinema 🎥🍿, I grabbed a beer from Gold Class 🍺 while I was there. But seriously, why does my beer always spill over? 😂 Someone tell me!

Twice ordered burgers delivered. This is the second time they have sent a burger with undercooked meat. I also paid $6 for sauces with potato gems, so $12 later they are the most expensive potato gems I've ever had, with no sauce whatsoever. The only bonus was I ordered a double which I did share to replace my wifes patty. So credit where credit is due. I had this bad experience with my food and it did put me off them alot, however why not give a business another chance, and for that matter be fair. I gamely ordered a double burger last night. I like the sauce they put on their burgers and when I first tried them I could have had one of their burgers daily, but in saying that they are a tiny bit pricey. Last night couldn't fault what I had delivered. Properly cooked and tasty as so I can't just tell people they are horrible cos when they get it spot on they are well worth it. Thanks to the team, well presented and back to very nice.

Have dined at Ruby Chews riverlink plenty of times over the years. Always enjoyed the food up until tonight. Seems they have changed their patties on the burgers. Tasted like the patties you get from the BBQ packs at Coles. Wasn’t enjoyable at all. Service was also very slow, even though we were the only ones there.
Tamieka H — Google review
Have been coming here for about 2 years, the quality was fantastic. However in the past couple of months I've been reluctant to come here as each time the wait is beyond ridiculous and the food is mediocre. The portions are smaller, sauce becoming less on the loaded tots. And the burgers left our hands covered in oil. Not just a little greasy drip but absolutely covered, it's almost like it was used a marinade. *You should be advised if you're going to be waiting over 30mins, I don't mind the standard 15-20mins. But 30mins when the store is pretty quiet is not the vibe.

Absolutely disgraceful service and attitude. It’s Thursday night, arguably the busiest night of the week. Not sure who’s idea it was to put 5 juniors on, not a brain cell between them. Went up to check on progress after 30 minutes, told it wouldn’t be long. After 45 minutes they realised they hadn’t processed the order or started cooking. Absolutely useless. Will never be back.

If you're looking for clean, retro aesthetics, and delicious made to order burgers, then Ruby Chews is the place for you. Amazing, juicy in-house burgers that taste better with every bite. Incredible shakes that leave you wanting more. Service with a signature smile, and did I mention the ice cream? Mix and match your favourite flavour and toppings, to create something devilishly delightful. Everything was absolutely divine, right down to the fries. The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and happy to help in any way they could. I cannot recommend Ruby Chews enough, it has set the bar for burgers in Ipswich.

Can I just say. Yuck! I’m so sorry but the bacon was hardly even warmed up. It was raw…. Poached eggs were very overly done. And the holumi cheese was under cooked and not even crispy. Avocado was brown and tasted funny! Never buying again.

Just ordered $60 uber from here for x3 stale hotdog buns with chicken and gravy on them that I instantly spat out , how hard is it to keep fresh bread ? Yuck your thick shake was ok . I took a photo before I put what you guys call $60 worth of 3 x stale hotdog buns with chicken and gravy in the bin , dosnt look like the photo that you guys advertised does it? don’t be fooled by the soggy bread even with gravy on the bread it was still as hard as concrete ,just because your called retro diner doesn’t mean the food needs to be from the past too, I’ve seen other people have similar bread issues with mould and undercooked food, and I can also see how the owner defends them selfs every time but there’s zero excuse for this in today’s age saying we didn’t know is not good enough ( quality control) will fix this . Buy fresh bread locally don’t use a distribution company. If you wouldn’t eat it you shouldn’t serve it I was gonna call but know one can take criticism these days so this will do .hopefully your restaurant starts to do better

Ordered a BB Breakfast Burger through Uber Eats from the Retro Diner, and the roll was moldy. I noticed after I took a bite, so I really hope I dont get sick! I feel like mold is definitely something that should be checked before a roll is used, especially as its pretty obvious! Uber has given me a refund but im disappointed it was sent at all.

Food was amazing. I got the Don't Cheddar Me burger gluten free as I am celiac. They couldn't do fries but they gave me tortilla chips instead which were fine. I also got a Latte Frappe which was amazing also. Well priced and a real retro vibe with the food served in baskets and old school decor. Awesome place to dine.

Chose the spot as it looked nice, the experience however was less than average, especially on Mother’s Day. We asked for scrambled eggs with the bruschetta and received poached eggs. The bread was crispy however and was overall good. The milkshake was average, the mango tango daiquiri was also average. The French toast banana bread was good and a different experience. There were some squished strawberries as well which did not look appealing. The customer service was of very low quality, very basic and unenthusiastic. There was also a long wait time to take orders as well as to get any food or drinks. Inside the store is interesting and has a character however is very hot.

We visited at 1pm and it was empty when we walked in. Our food came out in a reasonable time frame. Steak sandwich with the lot - This was good, but nothing amazing great. A little tasteless if I’m honest? The steak was very chewy which made the very massive sandwich even harder to eat. The chips were good though - nice, hot and crispy. Could’ve used a little tub of sauce. Banana smoothie - I’m confused by this. It was served in a milkshake cup and had artificial banana flavouring (it was bright yellow and fragrant), it was thin like a milkshake but it also had chunks of banana. It wasn’t bad but really not a banana smoothie. The place was reasonably clean and tidy, although the menus were sticky and felt dirty. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again but I wouldn’t be opposed if I was in the area.

Pub
Nestled in the heart of Ipswich, Hotel Commonwealth boasts a rich history that dates back over a century. This stunning venue has been meticulously restored, showcasing its heritage while providing modern comforts. Guests have raved about their experiences here, particularly during festive gatherings like workplace Christmas parties. The staff's warm welcome and attentive service truly stand out, ensuring that every visitor feels valued and well taken care of. Diners can expect prompt meal service with generous portion sizes that delight the palate.
I’ve read some of the reviews about this place and was very surprised! Some folks are very hard markers 🤣 I’ve dined in all sorts of places and have paid us to $400 per person for a meal. But let’s be real when we review - this is a pub. We dined at 12:00 on a Friday. There were people there, but there were plenty of tables. I was surprised by the renovation: they have done a lovely job of keeping the charm of a lost era, whilst adding contemporary function and style. There were a number of big screens if that’s your thing. We sat in the beer garden, which was airy and pleasant. The menu was what we expected - a good selection of pub food. There were many beers on tap and lots of other beverages on offer. The staff were friendly and professional and met any request with a smile. My mate had the parmy and rated it highly: that the cheese was crispy and the ham cooked before it was put on had him excited. He also appreciated that the salad had a tasty dressing and was comprised of a number of different ingredients. My steak was done exactly the way that I ordered it. The serving sizes were appropriate, as they left me satisfied with out being gargantuan. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. This was a great experience.

First time exploring the streets of Ipswich, and I thought I would try the food here.. Upon entry, the atmosphere was great.. the service was amazing and the chairs.. OMG.. so comfortable!! The steak was cooked to perfection.. I have had steak at many places, and this would be at the top of my list 😋 The trio of dips were delicious, and I am looking forward to coming back again for another visit soon! 10/10

Fantastic pub, how did we not know it was there? The renovation is the best we have experienced in Ipswich! Great food, fun atmosphere, live band in the carpark, we will definitely be back for more!

The renovation is looking great but sadly the $20 lunch meal deal was on the southern side of disappointingly average. The southern fried chicken, chips and salad took an excruciatingly long time to arrive, well past the time our other table guests had finished their meal. We were told that it’s a new menu item and the team were out back ensuring that they got it right and the chicken was cooked. The breading was thick and over done but lacked any flavour. The chicken looked large but was mostly bone which was disappointing. The salad didn’t have any dressing that I could detect but the chips were ok. Sadly the gravy was cold and again, without any seasoning for flavour. If I go back there, I’ll either be ordering the bangers and mash or lamb pie as this was a complete miss.

If I could put no stars it would be more real. Went there last night to eat in the restaurant and celebrate a birthday. The trivia night speaker was playing through out the restaurant very loudly. We ask the casual manager who normally works downstairs in the dungeon (his words) to see if it can be turned off, he turned the music off which made the trivia guy louder. Just when we think it’s stops the noise of him comes thru again. We waited well over an hour for our food. Advertised pizza night and no option to order pizza on the app you need to order. No toilet paper in men’s or disable toilets. 3 female wait staff trying their best to help us with our orders and the loud trivia noise. The chicken parmy was uncooked, complained and got a refund. We bought a cake to eat there but we took it home we couldn’t stand being there any longer. Never going back again.

Why go to Brisbane for a fancy lunch or dinner when you could go to Dovetail?? The staff are so pleasant, the surroundings and atmosphere on point. And the food you ask? Amazing! Go out and enjoy an amazing day or night!

We went here on Wednesday, last minute, for a mini celebration as we had some good news. The food was diabolically bad and hugely overpriced. The fact that I am posting this publicly only serves as how terrible it was. The kids burger was a slider (which was fine) but the patty was the size of a meatball and only took up about 50% of the slider. This cost $12. The kids pizza was equally tiny - toddler sized really, and really helpfully came out last, about 10 minutes after the first kids meal and 5 mins after the adult meal. The sharing platter my husband and I paid nearly $70 for was also terrible. Overcooked and dry chicken wings, sausages wrapped in bacon so overcooked it was black and splintered off into shards when bitten. A total disappointment overall and safe to say we would encourage anyone considering visiting to steer clear!

We had a lovely meal which was generous and beautifully cooked and presented. We look forward to returning to try some more of your delicious food. Service was spot on.

The reviews are accurate for this place. Warm and friendly staff, lovely setting on the deck, good coffee great food!!! Fresh juice would just make everything perfect. It’s hard to get warm genuine service in Brisbane so to see it in Ipswich is fantastic!. And don’t forget to tip the staff they’ve been through hell the last 18 months and without them there is no dining out. It’s vending machines only. I will be back for lunch or dinner soon. Thank you Dovetails

The Queensland Museum Rail Workshops in Ipswich is a must-visit destination for railway enthusiasts and families alike. Situated at Australia's oldest heritage railway workshops, the museum showcases an impressive collection of steam locomotives and industrial machinery. It has received accolades such as the Australian and Queensland Tourism Awards for Heritage and Cultural Tourism. Visitors can immerse themselves in interactive displays and multimedia presentations that narrate the rich history of Queensland's rail service.
Such a great railway museum with something for all the family. Children have a fantastic area to entertain them for ages....well done! I would recommend a minimum of 2 hours....could spend all day here if you want to read all the information boards. There's a Cafe on-site, but wasn't opened when we were there. Tickets approx $15/adult. Plenty of parking. I couldn't get the self guided app to work, however it didn't matter. Highly recommend you put this place on your list!

The Rail Workshop's history is presented in a way that is very well done. As you walk around, you can see, explore, and interact with the exhibits from start to finish. It seems that there are always special events happening at this museum, which means there's always something new to discover.

Recently visited the Queensland Rail Workshop Museum, and it was an incredible experience! The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Queensland’s railway history, with a great collection of vintage trains and railway artifacts. It’s a must-visit for anyone interested in trains or looking for a fun and educational outing!
Anjana I — Google review
Great place for a visit for all ages. Lots of trains, history, a bit of science and a playground. If attending during an outdoor event (Thomas the train, food vans etc.) bring a hat as it can get hot. You can also pack your own picnic!

We also went on the sunshine express, loved it. I would take a picnic lunch for Grantchester station, they had a hotdog food truck. Donut can and coffee van. Good enough but would prefer different food.

Amazing things to see and learn about. Allow plenty of time to look around. Such a huge collection. Huge train set . Keep ds would love it and large key ds play areas.

Very good for the kid with young age. Only short drive from Brisbane. I went after the event and not many people here.

The railway museum is beautiful! We went with the whole family and all thoroughly enjoyed! The model train was extensive and so well put together. The trains and all in the information on them were great to see. The kids area is the best part as a family, the kids enjoyed for a long time! It’s all pram accessible, and was nice and cool inside.

Riverheart Parklands is a picturesque urban riverside park located on the banks of Bremmer River in Ipswich. Spanning 1.5 hectares, it offers a range of attractions for families and nature enthusiasts. The park features water elements, a rainforest area, and accessible walkways. At night, visitors can enjoy laser projections. Additionally, there are BBQ facilities with seating, a zero-depth water park, discovery forest, and a flying fox for kids to enjoy.
Not Riverheart Parklands - but Beastie Monk. I happened across this remarkable shop a few weeks ago. From the outside I got a feeling that it would be something special - unique and unashamedly real - and I wasn’t disappointed. Inside transports you to a Bohemian cave, warmly furnished and abundantly inviting. Dotted around were comfortable lounges and places to relax. There was a large amount of clothing and accessories for purchase, from rock to punk and everything in between. I came away with 3 shirts and 3 pairs of socks. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I ordered a coffee and curled up in a corner, feeling all of my worries wash away. My coffee was perfect and it arrived quickly. This was another remarkable experience. There was some parking in site and in a nearby street. There was also a variety of healthy looking plants for sale.

You can enjoy a quiet walk alongside the Bremer River. Most of the pedestrian ramps were closed, possibly for renovation. It would be a nice place to visit once the pedestrian ramps are open once again. There is a free car park which can be accessed from Bremer Street. Toilets are available at the car park.
Thushini G — Google review
A nice place to have picnic or take your children to enjoy the playground around the park and stroll through the walkways.
Theticus _ — Google review
A nice walkway with plenty of potential, although there were lots of maintenance barriers and unfortunately lots of rubbish during our time of visiting. Dogs are allowed on the walk on leash, and there’s plenty of options for roadside parking along the platform walk. There’s a large children’s playground at one side of the walkway, and toilet blocks at either side.

Fantastic Park along the river. There's a great walk alongside, with lots of benches to rest and watch the river go by. The kids play areas look amazing! There are BBQs and shelters with benches and tables and water fountains and toilets at both ends of the park. Really great, with lots of shade, too.

Great place to relax and take time out from the hustle & bustle of daily life. Pretty & peaceful. Fab playground & BBQ picnic area for the kids & familes and a little water park. Good walking track. Night lighting too. Something for everyone. Awesome views

A lovely easy walk along the river side on a boardwalk. Water findings along the way and a covered bbq area and playground.

It's a good place to come. Locals can be rude, so afternoon after 4 o'clock is best. Quiet, even with a main road overhead and a major shopping center nearby. Pet friendly, too, provided they remain on a leash. Overall, not bad.

The Ipswich Turf Club is an outstanding entertainment venue that offers a refurbished restaurant area and a new section for horse tie-ups. Additionally, there are noticeable improvements in the public viewing area. The racing events are of high quality, with two races taking place during the Christmas week. The dining staff is remarkable, providing excellent service and friendliness to customers. Furthermore, the gate attendant ensures that all patrons sign in properly.
I had a fun day at Ipswich Turf Club. It’s well set out and offers some great viewpoints to watch the races. The staff are friendly the horses are magnificent. There’s bars and food readily available too. For the racing aficionados there’s a small museum with some wonderful historical photos, great for a trip down memory lane. All in all a recommended day out.

Well, first time at the turf club of Ipswich Didn't disappoint All staff are happy to serve. From dining to bar to stewardship and bookies. The whole package was a lovely experience shared with friends from abroad, and they loved it too.

Horrendous! My husband has a disability parking pass, so they tell us to park in one of the designated spots. We come back 2 hours later to go home, and we are parked in. There's cars parked over the exit and a truck parked over the access to the disabled area. Took an hour for the truck driver to wander back and decide to move it. Terrible organisation. The "complimentary canapes" for owners was 2 party pies or 2 party sausage rolls. Terrible. Will never be back.

Well - what can we say - what a disaster!! First time in a private marquee - most likely never again, if Saturday is an indication of what to expect. As a business we will be reviewing if we would even attend the race day again. Our spend of over $23 000 would get a spectacular event elsewhere. When we first arrived I made myself, as the organiser of our team event, known to the bar staff, asked who was the supervisor etc. The staff has no idea & one in particular was quite unhelpful then & through the day. Our understanding and your coms advised food & beverage package for 5 hours & private marquee area suitable for the number of guests. Marquee Area: 3 bays for 110 people was not sufficient space to easily move around the area. No outside tables & umbrellas - this was expected as tables & umbrellas are available in the general area such as Festival of Horsepower. ( which have a lower cost per ticket) There was no security or checking of people entering the private marquees - people were entering any marquee there wanted looking for drinks & food. Drinks: Service did not start until 11.30 - 1 hrs after the gates opened within 15 minutes - drinks had run out - the bar staff had no idea who was in charge, how to get more drinks or even if drinks were available. by 12.30, there was Vodka, Lime & Soda, no Gin & Tonic, No Vodka & Raspberry. by 1.30 - no bottle beer, no ginger beer or rum for extended times the only non-alcohol drink was lemonade throughout the day - no water!!!! - Where is the responsible service of alcohol when you can't provide water & non-alcoholic drinks and the food provided is not sufficient for the period you are serving alcohol?? Food Well - this is an embarrassment for the catering company & Ipswich Turf Club There were 2 small platters delivered at approx 12 noon containing approx 5-8 pieces each of the following Assorted sushi rolls Rare roast beef on croutons with horseradish cream. Assorted mini quiches Chicken and mushroom filos How was this to feed 110 people I would never know? From 12.45 we received the following - in small platers 2-3 times. Satay chicken skewers - no peanut sauce Lamb koftas with minted yoghurt Later the Aussie beef pies were received, again in small platters with insufficient food for the number of people. Chicken and mushroom filos were not received at all. We have been to Ipswich for over 10 years and never had complaints from our team about the food or drinks. The private marquee was supposed to be something fancy & more upmarket than the general marquees. We had to purchase food from the vendors to ensure our team had sufficient food to eat! We spoke to guests in numerous other private ways, who all have the same issues we did. As did other guests based on online reviews. How can ITC justify the ticket cost of $200+ per head for a private marquee and not provide sufficient, good quality food & the drinks as advertised. One star because I can not give xero!

Had such a great experience at the Ipswich Turf Club! 🙌 The service was top-notch, the staff were so lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s a fantastic venue for events — everything ran smoothly and the team made the night really enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in Ipswich that delivers both great atmosphere and great service 👏

We had our wedding reception here in May. I just wanted to share some photo's to show how beautiful it turned out. Carley the events manager was extremely helpful, always available to answer any questions I had. In general amazing value compared to the Brisbane wedding venues and the best value in Ipswich. The staff were lovely and let us party hard :) Thanks again!

Fast food restaurant
Hungry Jack's Burgers Ipswich is a well-established fast-food franchise that offers an extensive selection of flavorful beef and chicken burgers, along with indulgent ice cream treats and refreshing soft beverages. With its enduring presence in the industry, this long-standing eatery has become synonymous with generous portions of delectable patties made from succulent meats. Additionally, their menu includes a wide range of frozen desserts as well as a variety of carbonated drinks to complement your meal.
What has BACON and CHEESE and tastes amazing? This burger that I bought was one of the best that I have ever had from a hungry jacks. First of all, the burger had bacon and cheese (can’t say the same as a bacon deluxe that I purchased and unfortunately ate from the Yamanto store) and the chips were crispy and hot. The frozen drink was appropriately filled to the top and was delicious, and the dining area was immaculately clean as well as the tables I ate on. That meal was delicious and I would definitely eat there again.

Hair in burger. Ordered a salad with the kids meal. When I went back to ask why we didn’t receive it, they said they don’t do salads with kids meals - even though it’s on the menu and we paid for it. Their solution was a sprinkle of lettuce in a box.

This is the dirtiest Hungry Jacks I have ever been to. Every single table was filthy, the bin was overflowing, the floor was littered with food and packaging. O mentioned this to the store manager who replied ‘ we have been busy’. My observations was it was quiet. We dined in and upon leaving another customer said to me ‘disgusting isn’t it’. Your store should be reported to the Food Safety Ombudsman for a thorough investigation. Shame on you Hungry Jacks.
Joanne G — Google review
Went there twice since moving up here. First time was in store, now it was via drive thru. The large portion of fries is smaller than a small portion. In store i compaint and got a big portion instead, there was no sauce, their excuse was that they ran out of garlic aiolo. They do not communicate about this, they don't give alternatives, they just don't give you anything unless you complain. With the drive thru same thing with the fries again and no sauce at all. Check the fries portions yourself, they squeeze the carton so less fits in. It's done on purpose, the one in Brassal gives way better portions. This is the last time we went to this Hungry Jacks location. Will contact Hungry Jacks Office for this matter aswell.

whenever we go through the drive through we are almost always greeted by someone who clearly hates their job. i asked for the new saucy tenders and they literally put NO sauce on them whatsoever. every time they always mess something up

Review – Hungry Jack’s Booval I recently visited Hungry Jack’s Booval and had a disappointing experience with the drive-thru service. After placing my order, I drove to the service window, which now has a film covering the glass. This made it impossible to see inside, leaving me unsure whether staff were present or aware of me waiting. After several minutes, a young man eventually opened the window to take my payment. The window was then closed again, and I waited a few more minutes until a different staff member opened it briefly to hand me my meal. At no point was there a thank you or any kind of friendly interaction. My main concern is the film-covered glass. While I understand it may have been installed as a precaution against difficult customers, for the majority of us it removes all transparency (literally and figuratively) and makes the service feel unwelcoming. Without being able to see staff working, customers are left wondering what’s happening and whether they’ve been forgotten. I would strongly encourage management to reconsider this setup. A more customer-friendly approach would help restore the sense of service, connection, and courtesy that customers expect from Hungry
Tony W — Google review
I never leave reviews. Especial being fast food, I understand. But tonight at hungry Jacks Booval, train your front staff better. You had a line up at the drive thru so decided to go in. No one waiting in store to order, I stood and waited for 15min. Before I mentioned (hey can you take my order now) she just kept talking orders coming in through the drive thru. To not even get acknowledged, not even “Hey sorry won’t be much longer”, disgusting service. Especially me being the only one waiting. So I only order a large chips, as I was rushing to my job, another 13min later I finally get my order. Large chips with a 28min wait. Worse service I have experienced. Never again.
Ash A — Google review
This place is consistently extremely slow especially around lunch time. Drive thru line all the way out to the road practically and barely moves. Can’t come here on my lunch break anymore as they just don’t make the food quick enough if h.

A well-known chain that offers pizza, wings, and pasta for delivery, carry-out, and dining in is Pizza Hut Ipswich. They also provide a variety of sides and desserts. Recently, I visited their establishment and had a fantastic experience. The service was quick as the staff efficiently handled orders. This particular branch of Pizza Hut seems to be consistently improving their pizzas with each visit. The dough was perfectly prepared and generously topped.
Pizza Hut was amazing, fresh, hot, and tasty! Special shoutout to Connor, who gave the best customer service I’ve had in ages. Friendly, fast, and made the whole experience five-star.

So, this is what happens when you leave a bad review for pizza hut Ipswich. Apparently this is the "butchers block that I paid $4.50 extra for after deciding to give them another chance after they messed up my last 2 orders.. Be careful if you upset them and have a food allergen, their revenge via giving you the wrong food is clearly more important
Kelly Q — Google review
Great food for a pizza hut which is saying something, as in the past I have found the brand to be lacking, but this one in particular has given hope as the food tastes good, only exception is the hot chips, they need to be cooked longer, and I'd recomend also earlier opening times for the weekends, as 4pm open on a weekend, what if a family has a gathering or a bday party, it's a good idea to consider.

Wow... 😮 That was an experience.. Ordered a meal delivered within 5km of store. Was told 45mins 🤷‍♂️ ok, it's thursday its gonna be busy... 1hr and almost 15mins later it arrives clinging to the last of its warmth. Margarita the cheapest of the orders had enough room around the edge of the toppings to race some matchbox cars. The supreme was literally cold around the edges and sloppy and not even cooked through in the middle. That's after peeling half of the toppings off of the top of the box.. The spud bites were cold, soggy and stuck to the box also. My wife has contacted the store via a complaints form and we await a response apparently. Have had decent and sometimes not so decent pizza in the past from this store but that was by far the worst experience and someone should be retrained on cooking times as well as a cut off for deliveries to avoid cold/late arrivals. Kicking myself for not grabbing some from the supermarket now. **Update** 6.months later and still no reply to the complaint form not even to say they don't care.. Still haven't been back and if you want a decent pizza go to Domino's at Bundamba. 10x better and fresher.

My daughter ordered tonight. Paid extra$2 for 10 pieces of pineapple and then there's the Hawaiian that only has cheese in the middle and even the odd piece with no topping at all

WARNING Do not use pizza hut Ipswich, we ordered pizza tonight and when it was delivered it had hair in the pizza, then when I phoned up the call centre they lodged a complaint on my behalf and transferred my call to the store where I spoke with Jayden who, insinuated that I put the hair there and that everyone there wears hair nets, and offered me another pizza so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and drove in there only to find Jayden had nothing to say and WAS NOT WEARING A HAIR NET nor was the manager, I then watched on to see Jayden prepare 2 pizzas without a hair net, I then refused the pizza and phone pizza hut hotline in store infront of the manger who confirmed that hair nets must be worn I then got 2 drinks instead of the pizza even after the manager told me he prepared it himself who also wasnt wearing a hair net, STAY AWAY GO ELSEWHERE, customer service in store was also very poor

Additionally, the club hosts events like the Go Pink event with enjoyable activities and satisfying food options.
The staff here are absolutely amazing! Nothing is too hard, and they go all out to provide great service. This is our second time here, and we liked it so much that we forked out the whole $1 membership for life fees. The food is really tasty, serves are very generous and they're really quick. They literally work up a sweat, getting food out quick and making sure it's hot. We're looking forward to participating in the Trivia and Bingo nights very soon. Parking is a breeze, and the value of the meals is nothing to sniff at. Two thumbs up! Part II Don't forget the meat raffles, member draws, and the chill out room for the kids. The food is seriously good value. If you have a healthy appetite, you will not be disappointed. I have uploaded some more pics. Enjoy! 2025 update I'm not too sure what's going on, but all the regular staff have gone, and their replacements are not so helpful or courteous. The meals have taken a distinct dip in quality and portions. We won't be rushing back any time soon.

I come here often and the staff here are SO lovely and it’s a really nice atmosphere inside, however the menu is quite disappointing and lacks quite abit, I feel like theres alot but like not much at the same time. The 3 pasta options are not great, and having the Spaghetti Bolognese exclusively to the kids menu doesn’t really make sense to me. The carbonara only available during lunch? No pepperoni pizza option? Cheeseburger only available on the lunch and kids menu? Lasagna only available during lunch? Would be great to have them as dinner options aswell.

might go not the lunch specials next time..dissatisfied with fish ..but look 4ward to next time ..clean well presented venue.

Without a doubt the best pork chop I've eaten in a long long time, full off flavour, perfectly cooked and juicey the whole way through. The kids meals were very very good, the cob loaf was an absolute star, the cheeseburger spring rolls whilst hot were if I'm honest a tad bland but dipped in the cob loaf saved them, the Chipotle dip was outstanding. Overall am impressed with the whole experience, staff were helpful and very friendly..

Order food at 7:15 and didn’t receive food. Went up to counter at 8:15 to ask for a refund but was only told to wait for food as they aren’t allowed to do refunds and that nowhere else would do a refund (partner manages a tavern himself and says this is completely false). Other orders on table were below average and not given at the same time (kids meal came LAST!) I was then given a voucher but only for food in the bistro (valid for 1 month), couldn’t even be transferred for credit on my membership. Truly disappointed at such a big facility that can’t perform to its potential!

This is a really good bar & grill to visit with the family. It’s a bit hit or miss on the service whenever you go, other times we’ve waited close to an hour to receive our food but this time was fairly prompt. They have a really delicious plant based section which does really set them apart from other pub style restaurants in Ipswich. You get a really generous big feed for the price you pay so it totally worth it! Would recommend this place.
Holly G — Google review
Although this isn’t our usual place to grab a drink, I found the staff—especially the security—exceptionally polite and helpful, which definitely encourages me to return. The gaming area was maintained well but the machines could have done with a wipe over and I would have appreciated seeing staff nearby in the floor to check if guests needed anything.

I was lucky enough to organise a table of 10 for the Go Pink Luncheon today, was a fantastic event to attend. Congratulations to CSI and your team for the organisation of this event, Walking in the colours, decoration’s, door prizes, raffles, the meal and dessert was really nice (salmon / pork) the team who checked us in to our tables and during the event was fabulous and a special ‘thank you’ to Jayme-Lea who sorted our table for us - this event is close to our hearts and was so important we all sat together. Cheers to CSI, we hope you are going to put together a Christmas event as last years was another excellent event. Thank you Brenda & Ladies.
