There is incredibly fine sand. The ocean was very wavy, which was good news for surfing, but disappointing for those who came to swim. Parking and Toilets are located right at the entrance. It is a beach where you can have a great time.

Fantastic views and a lovely walk. It’s a good stretch of the legs to get to the top but I’m a reasonably unfit 61 year old and I managed it just fine ! Views are good for whale watching apparently. Only loses a star because it’s just about the only place on this part of the coast that charges for parking (which I didn’t spot so I got a ticket - my own fault for just assuming!).

We were lucky to enjoy one of the most exclusive tables with a direct view of the beach and ocean 🌊 a breathtaking setting that made the experience truly special. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff friendly and attentive, and their wine recommendations were perfectly on point. We came for lunch with friends and chose the set menu, which was beautifully balanced and exceeded our expectations. Altogether, Rick Shores combines stunning views with excellent food and service …a place well worth visiting if you can secure a table.

Rick Shores is an amazing restaurant that really has it all. The food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and the view is astonishing. We were fortunate enough to have a beach front view that felt like you were looking at a postcard! Our waitress Elizabeth was a breath of fresh air that added so much to our experience. She was very personable, had a great knowledgeable of the menu and made excellent recommendations about the food and activities in the area as well. You are lucky to have her. The food was amazing and we loved the flavours and the creativity. The salmon spring rolls were an unexpected highlight, with the avocado cream pairing just delightful. The super light housemade roti is an absolute must to soak up the sauce from one of their delicious curries. We had the coconut prawn curry and it was divine. The signature Moreton Bay bug rolls are delicious as they look, and the Phoenix Wagyu in the truffle honey sauce is a must try. A beautiful location with amazing food and staff. Well done Rick Shores, thank you for a wonderful experience that we won't forget.

I have lived on the Gold Coast for a while now and have heard many good things about Rick Shores. We arrived without a booking, not realising the place is usually booked well in advance. The view alone is breathtaking, a perfect spring day in Queensland, right on the water. Even though they were full, the team kindly managed to arrange a small table for us. I started with a beautiful Japanese style lager which set the tone perfectly. Then came the crispy battered oyster with ginger caramel and lumaboshi jellyfish, absolutely phenomenal in texture and flavour, easily one of the best oyster experiences I have had. Lunch was the famous Moreton Bay Bug Roll with mayonnaise, sriracha, gem lettuce and a soft brioche bun. They call it a snack, but it is a moment. The balance of flavours is unreal, and now I understand why this dish has such a reputation. The atmosphere, the view, the food, everything was on another level. The service was exceptional. The wait staff were super friendly and even though it was clearly a busy day, they still took the time to chat briefly, explain the dishes and guide us through our choices with genuine passion. This is one of those rare times where five stars just does not feel like enough. If you are visiting the Gold Coast, or like me have lived here for years and somehow have not tried it yet, do yourself a favour. If you appreciate good food and memorable experiences, Rick Shores is an absolute must. Well done to the entire team. You truly have something special here.

Everything about this place is why it's so hard to get a booking. Amazing views, good food and friendly staff. We had the $90 set menu for lunch and enjoyed each dish although could have skipped the last main of beef curry as was a bit dry. Other than that the drinks and day was perfect.

Really lovely market and definitely boutique as marketed (not cheap trash and treasure style, more expensive) with variety of home wares, and lots of clothing and accessory stores including second hand clothing - I went with my husband and he noted it’s definitely more for a female shopper than male! There are food trucks available and ample parking in front and on the side streets. I thought it would be bigger however it’s quite small understandably as it sits on school grounds.

Such a nice morning out! honestly the best food and coffee I have had in a while. The oysters were so fresh and this is the best toasted sandwich I have ever eaten. They were about $14-$16 however I would pay it again! They also had live music which was so good.

Found the cafe' using Chat GPT. Off the beaten track a bit which was fine. Parking is on the street wherever you can find it. I found a small, funky, popular establishment with a good menu with so many options to add or change to meet your needs. The staff were friendly and helpful to make your experience pleasant. The prices were average and the food came fairly quickly (depends how busy they are). The food was just right and very tasty. Portions were a good size and the coffee was great. Highly recommend and will be back.

Amazing Brunch & Coffee Spot Near Home! We visited Commune Cafe recently, and it’s such a gem right near us! The menu is creative, and every dish is packed with flavour and texture. We had the Mango Lassi Pancake, and it was an absolute delight! The buttermilk pancake was soft and fluffy, with a tropical burst from the mango pulp on top. The gingerbread added a warm spice that made it even more unique—such a great contrast of flavours! We also tried The Froger, and it was perfection. The mix of two types of mushrooms with garlic and thyme gave it an earthy richness, while the pesto and thick sourdough added great depth. Topped with fresh avocado, it was such a balanced and satisfying dish. And the coffee? Absolutely next level! The freshly roasted mocha was smooth, bold, and just what we needed to complete the meal. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food, quality coffee, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely little cafe!! Amazing food, kind and attentive waitstaff, great batch brew (sweet, perfect balance of acidity and bitterness), and a pretty atmosphere! I got the mushroom and avo toast (vegan option), and my partner had the eggs benny with mushrooms and bacon. I loved the hemp seeds combined with the tahnini, as well as the addition of enoki mushrooms and fennel. Added some nice texture and flavours. The avo was perfectly ripe as well and I was happy to get a full half of one! It was around $30 per person for coffee and the meal but so, so worth it - great service, big portions and amazing flavour and quality of ingredients. The latte art was beautiful as well, always a bonus! Next time I'm in the area, I would love to come back again. Highly recommend, and compliments to both kitchen and FOH staff 💗💗 Awesome job guys!!

The Food: We opted for a variety of classic breakfast favourites, each priced reasonably at around $20 per meal: - Eggs on toast with bacon – Simple, well-prepared, and full of flavour. - Avocado on toast– Fresh, creamy avocado perfectly balanced with quality sourdough bread. - Eggs Benedict with bacon – Rich, satisfying, and beautifully presented. Every meal was delicious, making it easy to see why this café remains a local favourite. If you're in the Burleigh area and looking for a top-notch breakfast spot with fast service, I highly recommend stopping by Commune Café.

The park is quite small. Some areas are still recovering from cyclone Alfred. There were not too many animals... 2h will be more than enough to see everything, including attending some of the daily talks. It's not possible to feed the Kangaroos 🦘, but depending on the time of the day you go, you might see the park carers doing so. It's quite cute to see them eating sweet potato 😊 Friendly staff members who will be happy to answer any questions you might have. I visited the park on a Wednesday. Close to Currumbin wildlife park this is a Park with a lot of history. Returning after 25 years, the park has detoriated from its earlier years. This historic park needs to be spruced up especially with the pot hole road access and the cafe and more wildlife related activities. The cafe is average . Besides vegetation options ( has only 1 ), needs better menu. The quality of what they serve is fine

Beautiful haven with superb grounds that showcase the extraordinary beauty of the natural environment, sadly depleted by development. Well-cared for birds, animals and reptiles and superbly knowledgeable friendly guides. Nice cafe and a thoughtfully planned room for children to learn and play. Very accessible for prams, wheelchairs. Lots of shady seating areas. Most beautiful anhd important attraction on the coast.

Beautiful setting. Easy to get round and enjoy the native wildlife. Bird show was short but very informative. Coffee at the cafe was very good too.

If you want to learn about Australia's wildlife and the efforts being made to save dangered species, this the place to go. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was encouraging to hear all about the park's achievements. I came to see a platypus and I wasn't disappointed. Such a thrill.

Well laid out and fully accessible for anyone with mobility aids. Animals were viewable whilst still having space. Not busy when I went. Unfortunately, the platypus enclosure was being refurbished so I wasn't able to see them.

My mate Dan and I had a great tour with Jenna. Enjoy a wholesome, altruistic Australian wildlife experience where you can learn how what we do at home and when travelling impacts native animals and our precious Australian biosphere. Who gives this wonderful space one star? It's a conservation and rescue space for wildlife, not a hugging zoo. You shouldn't assume you can hug the animals in advance as it may not be safe or healthy for the animals or the visitors. $27 is not expensive. We paid extra to help the cute bundles of joy at Fleay's. For those who reckon you couldn't see anything check out my awesome new desktop wallpaper. Yes Jenna, you're a chatterbox, but we loved every bit.

Huge beach side market with loads of unique local art, craft, delicious food, entertainment and more.

Well worth a wander around. Good variety of stalls and a lot of genuine 'cottage industry' sellers which was great. Everything from artists and homemade jewellery through to fortune tellers! There is the usual contingent of 'middle men' selling cheap tat, but they are the minority. If you want to spend an hour (it's not huge) pottering around in a great location, you won't be disappointed. One small word of warning - parking isn't great, so you might have to walk a bit; though that's not a problem with such a great view.

Excellent market. You can get anything you need here! Love the Jewellery stall that does Sterling silver jewellery, Desert Wanderer designs. Grab a coffee, listen to the live music and support small businesses, win win.

We had such a wonderful time at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! The lorikeet feeding was absolutely amazing such a joyful and colourful experience. The free flight bird show was another highlight it was incredible to watch these beautiful birds soar gracefully above the audience and see them up close. We also had the chance to see and take photos with a python, kangaroo and koala up close was both exciting and memorable. The wildlife talks were engaging and informative, and the Aboriginal culture show was beautifully presented and full of meaning. The only downside was the limited vegan food options at the cafés, so it would be great to see a bit more variety in the future. Overall, a fantastic place to visit for all ages educational, fun, and full of opportunities to connect with nature and animals up close!

Great place for a visit when in the area. Beautiful grounds and habitat for the well cared for animals. Lots of work to do with conservation comes from here they deserve a lot of credit. Mini trains to cart you around once you have had enough walking. Cafe food was fairly good. Staff were all friendly and seemed like they really enjoy what they do. Lots of different activities can be arranged if you visit , up close and personal with different animals can be organised. Highly recommend coming here.

Fabulous experience as always here. This was my third time visiting the sanctuary with some of our friends visiting from Europe. With so much to see and do here I suggest newcomers set aside roughly 5 hours to see everything the park has on offer. From visiting the reptile enclosure, to patting the kangaroos and getting up close with the koalas. There's something for everyone here. The day is well planned out on the map with several key shows in the afternoon including the wild bird display, aboriginal performance group & finishing up with lorikeet feeding right before closing time. Right now parking is also free across the road. Highly recommend to everyone ❤️

Tickets were expensive but worth it for the NFP and animals. The animals were well cared for and their enclosures were spacious. Happy to see all animals have access to a no people/viewing area. The free bird show was breathtaking. Only wish there were more trains/directions of said train, more drink refill stations, and clearer signage.

Great place. Loved the wild lizards. The bird show was wonderful. The train was a highlight. Feeding the lorikeets was also a favourite. I have to thank the staff who helped tremendously when my autistic son had a meltdown and put himself in danger. They were exceptional, compassionate and understanding. While we had to leave abruptly because he wasn't coping, we left feeling like it was a wonderful experience and we definitely would come back.

An amazing wildlife sanctuary. Super friendly staff, loved the lorikeets and kangaroos. You’re allowed to feed both and pet the kangaroos! Had an echidna encounter with a very informative staff member, it was awesome. So much to see and do here. Recommend to anyone who’s coming to see the Gold Coast. Buy tickets before and show up 30 minutes early (8:30am) for the lorikeet feeding, make sure to put in a donation for their efforts and all the animals!

Perfect place for families with young kids. Lots of activities including shows, animals, play equipment, even a miniature train Ryde through the park. Id recommend bringing your own food if you want something other than the typical fried food and icecream.

Had the most amazing experience here. Busy but not crowded as there are lots of spaces to sit. They have streamlined it so it is efficient, pre made juices and ordering is quick. We didn't have to wait long to be delivered the best breakfast I've had out...ever! Highly recommend the toad in a hole, I was sceptical about the additional of sambal sauce but it absolutely elevates it, along with goats cheese too!! The whole table were happy with their meals and juices were delicious too. Can't wait to go back!

We got the Mushrooms and Acai Bowl and they were awesome. Mushroom was juicy, flavorful and acai was so fresh! The caramel cookie milkshake was so loaded and thick, exactly like how I want it to be! My friend got the banana smoothie and he loved it as well! Can’t say how much I love this place! The atmosphere, the food and quick service! I have been here several times and they never failed me!

A fantastic, trendy yet comfortable spot for coffee and brunch. Grab a seat among the trees and let the lovely staff take care of the rest. The bacon Benedict bagel was delicious as was the coffee. They had a great range of pastries which we were too full to try! Next time.

Beautiful Cafe! The purple toast was delicious and the iced latte was wonderful. The biscoff milkshake was insane!!! Get in early on a weekend for the best pick of the seats as it was filling up a lot by about 9am. Good bathroom facilities. Next time I want to try the creme Broulee donut!

I’m just in LOVE with this place. The venue and garden make you nearly feel like you’ve escaped to the countryside far away from stress. If you avoid peak hours (it does get very busy), grab a book, find a quiet spot and you’ll never want to leave. It’s so peaceful. I’m vegan, and even though there aren’t many vegan options, I’m really satisfied with what’s available. The vegan XO mushrooms meal is exquisite! The textures and flavors are just perfect, honestly. The vegan macadamia slice is my guilty pleasure.. Oupsi 👀

Paddock’s Bake is a must-visit for pastry lovers! I couldn’t stop raving about their pastries when I returned to Melbourne. I’m excited to have tried their crème brûlée donut. Their pastries are expertly crafted and not overly sweet. We also tried the hot pie with truffle mushroom chicken, which was delicious. Pairing the pastries with their Single O beans made for a perfect breakfast. The place is spacious and has plenty of seating options. Just be sure to secure your table before ordering. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the city centre.

We had such an enjoyable time at Burleigh Pavilion! The share plates were absolutely delicious — it was great to try a bit of everything, and every dish was full of flavour. The mocktails were amazing too — beautifully presented and so refreshing! What really made our visit special was the staff — they were genuinely kind, funny, and engaging, creating such a welcoming vibe. We’re visiting from WA and felt right at home. And of course, you can’t beat the location right on the beach — perfect for a relaxed meal with stunning ocean views. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Gold Coast!

so so so so so goooood!! never had a better pizza, base was light but not thin and wasn't totally filling so you could still enjoy other food. SO TASTYYY also recommend getting a cocktail jug to share if with multiple people

While exploring the Gold Coast, I was on the hunt for a café with great views and ended up here – and wow, what a spot! Even though it was a little chilly on the day, we were treated to the sight of surfers catching waves just beyond the café – a true coastal moment. The vibe is relaxed and open, making it a great place to pause and take in the scenery. The service was pretty standard, nothing over the top, but the staff were polite and things ran smoothly. I didn’t try the food this time, as it wasn’t particularly recommended, but it might be worth exploring on a future visit – you never know. What really stood out was how well-kept the facilities were – the toilets were clean and tidy, which always adds to the comfort of the visit. If you’re after a peaceful beachside stop with postcard-perfect views, this café is a lovely little escape from the bustle. Just come for the view, take a breath, and soak in the Gold Coast atmosphere.

Great place to come and pickup some fresh fruit and Veges at reasonable prices. Often come here on the weekend and do the fruit and veg run with the family and try to support the locals. Some good food here and lots of stalls so you always get what you come here for. Happy to recommend this market to locals and visitors

Saturday Markets: A wide variety of organic and non-organic fruit and vegetables are available. Food and coffee outlets along with live music make these markets a great place to visit.

Great local club for the locals..Bistro is outdated,not very appealing but the bar area is nice..Food was ok..Had Barramundi which is cheaper than anywhere on coast..nice piece of fish and chips were nice..Chicken chow mein not the greatest though..nice but not really a chow mein.

Visited for lunch and to watch the AFL Grand Final. Old dated venue. Staff seemed concerned about non-local patrons. Food average at best. TV glitchy and the sound echo almost unbearable.

Delicious wow!!! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. You can tell it’s made with love. Just beautiful. Definitely 5/5 will be back again and again. Both Thai and Aussie dish (Thai Basil and Chili Stir fry w/steamed rice and also Pasta Carbonara supreme) top 5/5.

Dear Burleigh Bowls Surf Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your establishment. My little sister and I visited your venue, and she was in urgent need of the bathroom as she was on her period and close to wetting herself. Unfortunately, when we approached the counter, the staff member asked for ID and refused us access to the toilet, despite the urgency of the situation. This made an already stressful moment even more upsetting, especially considering her condition and the fact that she nearly had an accident. I believe that during such situations, compassion and understanding are essential, and I hope that your staff will handle similar incidents more sympathetically in the future. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter to help ensure a better experience for all your customers.

Just dropped in for a beer. Barman was a bit grumpy, but the place was clean and tidy. They looked like they had a tournament on. Beer was good and cold.

Excellent experience. Really well set out with nice shady tables. Dog Friendly so that alone makes them awesome. But you really need to taste some of the nicest beers you will come across, these are well brewed and a huge variety on tap. There is good food available and really this could be the perfect afternoon. You will love it. We did.

If you’re looking for the perfect venue to host an event, Burleigh Brewery is it! We recently celebrated a 50th birthday there, and it was absolutely amazing. The venue has a great vibe, the setup was effortless, and the management and staff were incredibly accommodating — nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Really good beers. Big craft brewing very well established. Love the refreshing and light cerveza, however it should be available in a can. I bet it goes off on the right nights but we were there at an odd time.

Burleigh Brewing Company, while popular, left me somewhat underwhelmed. The brewery has a casual and relaxed atmosphere, but it doesn’t feel particularly special compared to other craft beer spots. The beer selection is decent, offering a variety of styles, yet none stood out as exceptional or memorable. The tasting experience is straightforward, though the staff are friendly, the overall impression feels average rather than exciting. The venue itself is comfortable but lacks a unique charm or vibe that would make it a must-visit destination. Overall, while it’s an okay spot for a casual drink, it didn’t leave a strong impression.

Good spot for a relax. The food truck was awesome. Best ribs ever. The sweet potato fries were awesome too. The raspberry hazy matched up perfectly. The band that was there was pretty good too. Large indoor and outdoor footprint meaning lots of space.

Unforgettable and enlightening morning. Thank you Jellurgal Cultural Centre team for warmly and generously sharing your Cultural knowledge of this hugely significant area. It made such a difference to my stay "In the GC" which is very surface much of the time. Everyone should take time to visit this Centre and take an enriching tour. Grow your knowledge and develop some understanding of the people who have been the resilient Custodians of this land and all that lives apon it for over 20,000 years. Thank you to the elders of the past, present and future for this opportunity/experience. P.s. Hope that Jellurgal becomes the official name of this special area in future!

An absolutely stunning and eye-opening day with Kailen whilst taking in all the sights, stories and songs that Jellurgal had to offer. Without spoiling the content, if you're looking for a cultural trip whilst enjoying the Gold Coast, don't book anything before you've done this. A trip through time and history like nothing we've ever done before. Topped off with a hike through the rain forest whilst dolphins jumped around in the bay in front of us. Simply magic.

What an AWESOME experience. Our tour guide brought the history of the Aboriginal, from this area, to life for us. It is always a plus to learn of the rich history, and hear the stories of the peoples of this land. So grateful to have this shared experience from Austrailas' Aboriginals, and the Indigenous from our country, Canada, specifically North Western Ontario. Thank you for this amazing journey.

A fabulous and enriching experience with Kailen from Jellurgal Aboriginal cultural centre, listening to the creation stories while walking the sacred lands. Its eye opening to walk a path i have walked before but see new things. It almost felt spiritual.

Fantastic experience to learn more about Aboriginal culture. I was really impressed with what was covered in the time we were there. Being in such a beautiful place to learn about the richness of this ancient and complex culture was something really special. Highly recommend! The gift shop was fabulous too. The first place I've been on the Gold Coast with authentic and unique gifts to take back home.

We absolutely loved our walkabout with Kailen. He’s a truly amazing storyteller and the stories he shared gave me goosebumps. We visited during rainy weather with my 75-year-old mother and he was so patient and kind. My 9-year-old loved it, too, and Kailen kept him engaged throughout the tour and created an environment where he felt safe to ask a ton of questions. Truly, one of a kind experience, we’re so glad we found.

I really enjoyed the experience as Heidi was a very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. The tour lasted just the right amount of time and kept me fully engaged. You have to stop off at the shop on the way out as they had so many items that made great mementos of the visit.

Great spot to watch the world go by. Clean amenities, playground, paved walkways and picnic areas. The downside is it is usually busy but extremely busy around sunset

Peaceful walk along the Oceanview Track at Burleigh Hills -fresh sea breeze, lush greenery, and stunning coastal views. A perfect reset for the soul.

It has one of the best views of the Gold Coast, and I love the vibe of this place. It's a great place to watch the sunset, have a picnic, or just sit and relax.

A Sunset Feast at The Tropic – Gold Coast Must-Try 🌅🍴 The Tropic is one of those iconic Gold Coast restaurants that locals and visitors alike seem to rave about—and now I understand why. With so many glowing recommendations online, we made sure not to miss it during our trip. We arrived around 4:30 PM for an early dinner, perfectly timed to enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. And the scenery is absolutely unbeatable. The service was just as impressive. Every staff member greeted us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel like we were truly on holiday. The relaxed yet attentive atmosphere added so much to the experience. We ordered their specials of the day: a vibrant beetroot salad, half a dozen fresh oysters, delicate fish carpaccios and a rich duck meat pasta and with Tiramisu.Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—fresh, balanced, and satisfying.

We just had a brilliant time at The Tropic today! With its excellent view, the atmosphere is simply perfect. Seriously, our waitress Marsi was absolutely exceptional—the best service we've had in ages. She was attentive, super friendly, and made the experience perfect. The manager, Rama, is clearly wonderful and runs a fantastic venue. If you're on the Gold Coast, this place is a must. Great atmosphere and even better service!

Great team in the kitchen. All food was outstanding especially the roasted potatoes. Saturday night and whole restaurant was full. More than 200 customers at the same time. Well done Team. I had dinner there last year and didn't like it, but tonight is Amazing. No windows open so felt stuffy after 2 hours.

We had a family birthday party…. The food was amazing… however the service was exceptional. We had Julie as our waitress & she was absolutely wonderful. Attentive, a lovely manner & accommodating with everything … she provided above & beyond with her service & attitude. Julie finished her shift & we had Bridgette… she also was exceptional. Such a special afternoon… thankyou.

Fantastic experience having lunch at The Tropic. Atmosphere is great - open with picture perfect views. Service was attentive without feeling intrusive. Food was the highlight. We had small share plates, and just about everything was excellent: Special of the day was spanner crab, and it was just about the freshest crab I've ever had. Kingfish carpaccio was fresh, with a dill oil and curry dressing that was perfectly balanced. The broccolini side was perfect - I'd order this every time. The beef tartare was the only dish that dipped below excellent. It was fine, but the cut was uneven on the beef, and the flavour was just ok. Overall a great experience, we'll definitely be back.

Our first time at The Tropic and it was fantastic. We had the bread, taramasalata and burrata. Then Pipi pasta, mussels, king prawns, roasted potatos and beans. Faultless. 10/10 to our waitress Maria she was amazing.

Amazing experience the views are to die for and the atmosphere is something else. Racquel welcomed us and took us to our table, she was very friendly very outgoing we loved her vibe! Zoe was amazing too, she took very good care of us at the table. She was very professional and friendly. Overall it was a very nice experience with the staff making it even greater.

My favourite beach since first moving to the GC over 20 years ago. Have to get there early for a park but there's nothinf better than walking the burleigh hill loop and ending up the beach for a swim.

Been a favourite place for 60 years. You can find some shade so you dont fry, water is amazing. Choose time when tides are OK to swim and beware of strong currents at times.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Weather was perfect,the locals are lovely,delicious food and heaps of gorgeous little boutique shops to explore.

Beautiful beach to go to! Enough shadow spaces as well. Deep and shallower water to swim in. Calm and super clear water, no waves. You can jump from the bridge too.

Echo beach is one of the nicest spots on the Gold Coast that’s family and kid friendly. No huge waves to scare the youngsters and shallow waters let’s the little ones play safely. The scenery around is just beautiful. Parking is available nearby along with toilets. Opposite you have Tallebudgera Creek and lots of other different amenities.

It's down a track in the national park, as are other little beach areas. I love it there as the aquamarine water reminds me of the Greek islands.

One of my top pic spots to visit in the gold coast. This little cove is super family friendly and the water was lovely! Only a short walk from the carpark, which had bathrooms and showers. We spent hours here! And plenty of shade !!

Such a fun shopping centre. Very pretty and has lots of shops to explore. There is a good variety of shops inside and the food court has great food. The atmosphere is great and the security is always walking around making sure everyone is safe. There is a valet parking with cool cars.

What an amazing shopping centre on the Gold Coast. Everything and more for all ages. A food court to suit all tastes. Wish the UK had the vision to create this in all cities. If you haven't already visited then do so.

The most visually striking and spectacular shopping centre I've seen in Australia. Plus, plenty of shops and dining options, the best in GC.

Amazing architecture. You wouldn't believe it's a mall. It was like a resort style. A massive mall with heaps of high-ends luxury stores. When you get tired you can just sit or lay on the sun bed and relax. A lovely place to visit, look around and shop.

Heaps of stuff here. If you’re looking for something it’s almost guaranteed to be here. The mall is quite large so bring some comfy shoes. A bit of something for everyone. Some high end, middle and low end price stores here. Brands galore, heaps of friendly workers and some cool water features. Plenty of places to eat as well.

Pacific Fair – The Gold Coast’s Olympics of Shopping Pacific Fair is basically a glamorous maze designed to separate me from my money — and honestly, I’m not even mad about it. The place is HUGE. You go in for “one quick thing” and suddenly it’s three hours later, you’ve made emotional connections with five shop assistants, and you’re carrying bags like you’re in a rom-com montage. The vibes? Immaculate. The layout? Gorgeous. The shops? Dangerous. There’s literally something for everyone — from boujee stores that make you question your bank balance to snack stops that keep you going like you’re on a shopping marathon. Whether you’re browsing, splurging, or just pretending you’re rich for the afternoon, Pac Fair delivers. 10/10 would get lost in here again.

I love this place for its open air view of the surf. I always stop in for a coldie on the verandah. If I can get a table at the front, the middle isn't so bad either. I liken it to Burleigh Pavilion without the pretentiousness.

Great view of the beach and surf quick service 2 mains in 15 -20 mins at most wait even with venue full. Friendly helpful staff good seafood only reason not 5 was slightly dry fish all else was perfect.

LOVED our visit to the Burleigh surf club yesterday! No booking but welcomed us in, so friendly & were seated straight away. Staff jumped into action and helped when my son knocked his juice over, so helpful and the vege food was delicious!! Multiple options!! Plus the beautiful view. Filled our cups! Highly recommend, and can’t wait to visit again soon (Sadly photos are taken half way through the meal as all looked so yummy we just had to dig straight in, but fresh and loaded with goodness).

There is also a tiny entrance to the restaurant from the beachside with a sign next to Ben & Jerry’s. In addition, you order foods at the counter and drinks at the bar just right next to it. Seafood Woodfired Pizza ($30): Thank the chef for not putting the sauce that contains onions and garlics and he said all pizzas are based on that sauce. As a result, without that sauce, the pizza is absolutely delicious and I love how soft the pizza itself is and the mozzarella also has a unique texture. Most importantly, the best part is when you eat all kinds of seafood with the capsicums. Besides, if you don’t drink alcohols. they also have soft drinks like lemon squash, pink lemonade, Pepsi etc at around $4.5 in a glass. Unfortunately, restaurant gets relatively bustling at Sunday noon and all the window tables are occupied when I try to get one. It’s considerate of the cashier that you can switch your order or customise your food if you are allergic to something in your food. The bartender is also friendly and agile enough to deal with such long queue in a short period of time. To top it off, excellent service, outstanding food, great scenery, slightly high prices but absolutely worth a visit, 9.5 out of 10!

This is the worst açai that I nave received on 5 years since, açai was in the kiosk The lady who prepared appears that doesn’t want to serve. This attitude is not the first time that I have experienced. I am a long term member

Great views overlooking Burleigh surf beach from the first floor balcony to enjoy a drink and a meal. Despite a minor incident experienced 2 weeks previously (see below), we returned for lunch and was immediately recognised and greeted by Lachie (manager) which was a pleasant surprise. Despite the many customers utilising this popular venue, we experienced exceptional service and enjoyed a drink or two and a delicious meal. I subsequently changed the service rating from 2 stars to 5 stars as a result. Well deserved. Thank you. 2 weeks previous - waited 45 minutes for food despite many tables around us receiving their food despite arriving before us. After 2 follow ups, we received our food with 2 different excuses from 2 different staff members. We discussed the incident with management who listened, apologised, and offered generous compensation in the form of a voucher. They handled the situation exceptionally well to an extent that we will be returning customers.

Such delicious food! Enormous portions too. Definitely get what you pay for. Staff were upbeat and lovely. One thing to note, the food was a bit slow to come out but worth the wait for how good it tasted. Small and imitate dining inside. We shared a table with another couple. But we didnt mind, It was nice to get to know them. Overall, would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality feed

The staff member who too our order was amazing. She memorisaed out order without writing it down which was pretty cool. The beef burger I got was so good. I think it was call zee cheese. Highly recommend this place.

The best burgers that we’ve had for a long while. The crafted beer was amazing and there is a good variety to try. Nathan the host-owner was most hospitable as with the tall guy whom I didn’t get the name. Come and have lunch or dinner at Ze Pickle next time when you are in Burleigh or Gold Coast. Highly recommended ♥️♥️♥️

Nice rustic/cute venue on the corner of the street. Somewhat dark but nice outside and indoor lighting! Upon arriving the waitress gave us the option of outdoor and indoor seating (we took indoor as although there was cover it was raining a little). Very chilled vibes. Unfortunately we didn’t try any of the choice of beers or cocktails (couple heavy days). However, great selection of not just the bog standard classic cocktails and some great tap choices! We ordered the loaded fries (bacon on the side for the veggo partner) and these were great. House sauce was Smokey but worked well with the cheese. Not thick cut not skinny but a happy medium! The burger. What a piece. Whilst it took a lil while to come. It was well worth the wait. The “Kanye’s Mum” was big, juicy and cheesy. The cheese sticks worked so well and with a big burger like this a good bun is integral… they delivered. Soft in the right places but toasted too. Good work. The beef by itself was well seasoned, fries added an extra texture, bacon crispy (but not oily af) and again the sauce… enough but not tooooo much. Best burger I’ve had in a while shout out to the chef and team!!! Also, loved the quirky decor and menu names!!

This place is amazing, my friends and I come here often. Always great beers on tap, Annie does a great job always keeping nice beers on tap. Cami always gives us the best recommendations and awesome service. Best burgers, and unreal chicken wings. Great vibe, Absolutely recommend.

A beautiful venue for craft beer enthusiasts! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves trying different kinds of beers. During our visit, there was an event full of energy, with everyone wearing cowboy hats and having a great time. We tried their tasting platter, which included Ginger and Apple Cider, Low Carb Pale Ale, Pacific Ale, and Lager. Each beer was better than the last. The venue also offers a variety of board games, adding to the overall fun experience. Highly recommended for a lively and enjoyable outing.

Check out Black Hops Brewery - 15 Gardenia Grove, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 Heads We popped in today for a quiet beer. This microbrewery hidden in the backstreets of Burleigh is a little gem and if you haven't gone and checked it out then you need to put it on the list. A good variety of beers on tap or you can grab yourself a tasting platter and sample a few. They also have takeaways in the fridge so you can grab a roadie. 🍻🍺

Popped into Black Hops Brewery on a Saturday at 12:30pm, keen for some food and a few drinks — as you’d expect at lunchtime on the weekend. But there was no food available when we arrived. We were told the food truck wouldn’t be ready for another half an hour. Honestly, that’s pretty disappointing planning for a Saturday midday crowd.

Would highly recommend a stop by! Great little brewery. $16 for a paddle of 4 tasters. Ginger cider available for those who don’t like beer. Mostly Ales - IPA dominant. Recommend trying the Geodie - much lighter than we thought and a nice surprise! Plenty of seating arrangements and was a good vibe with music but not too loud. Plenty of tables, an arrangement of merchandise and the chance to buy bottles of stock and larger casks for those more local. No tour on offer just tasting.

Cosy spot set back from highway, unsuspecting location, but welcoming boutique brewery when you get there. Only open Wednesday to Sunday and closes at 6 on Sunday evening, so go in time to try a few on the menu. We recommend Send It or Lay Day for good all round beers that taste like beer. Ladies may enjoy Pink Mist, with raspberry finish- tho has a strong unusual aroma. Beaut place and friendly staff. No food there.

This shop has just recently undergone a change and is attracting more families. It's got a great food court and great play ground for the kids! It has everything you need and then some. From Woolies at one end to Big W down the other end and JB HiFi in between. Stacks of parking. Good amenities. Great cafes. Always clean.

I visited here for the first time and in my opinion as a traveler, it’s a massive and versatile that has every kind of shops, such as BIG W, JB HI-FI, Woolies, Aldi, fresh food market, discount shop, pharmacies, Telstra, clothing stores, gift shops, just to name a few, as well as banks and and clinics. However, there are not as many restaurants and I didn’t see any pubs or bars but the restaurants are nearly all budget friendly. You can easily get here by 753, 754, or 756 buses from Broadbeach South tram station. The number of the parking spaces here seems insane. If you’re a big shopper and have been to Pacific Fair, Australia Fair, and Robina Town Centre, you can take this place into consideration. Overall, it’s an underrated location for shopping but not eating.

Everything is under 1 roof, & there's plenty of nice meals there also which sadly have jumped to be quite expensive, but overall a great day & bought a few goodies 😀 definitely worth checking the place out.

I took my terminally ill friend to Burleigh Stockland on Saturday 6th September. I required a wheelchair. As usual the Centre was very busy. I had no sticker so parked quiet a way from Centre Care. Well a huge thank you to the lovely lady manning the Centre Saturday for her care and concern. A huge thank you to both security guards for their help getting to and from my car. My friend loved her day out, and YOU made the day just so easy. Thank you.

I actually like this shopping centre and there always seems to be enough parking which is just fantastic. It's got everything you need as well.

VERY large shopping complex that is spread out over hectares of land. There are a number of large retail chains that have all have large stores onsite that are separate and independent of Stockland. The Stockland shopping center is a massive indoor, airconditioned shopping town with hundreds of small and large retail stores including groceries supermarkets. Practices a functional Covid protocol and has a QR system in place. Wheel Chair friendly, public toilets onsite.

Great precinct. Lots of fab businesses that have become our weekly regular. Loads of excellent small business owners that we have become very close with that give us some wonderful necessities, services and treats :)

North Burleigh RSL is a fantastic spot located right next to the Miami beach, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy the coastal vibe. The atmosphere is lively, with a crowd that clearly loves this venue. I had the classic schnitzel, and it didn’t disappoint! The meat was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy—with a wonderfully crispy coating. The chips were beautifully cooked, but the mushroom sauce could use a bit more flavor. Service was quick and consistent, which made the experience even better. There's also a café attached to the pub that serves excellent coffee and delightful pastries during the day. Overall, it's a great place to visit for a meal or just to relax with a coffee and pastry by the beach. Highly recommend!

You order and pay for the foods at the counter near the front door and drinks at the bar saying HARD FIZZ, which does also sell soft drinks like Coke, and Lemonade ($5) etc. 250g Rump ($32.5): It’s served with chips, salad, and choose a sauce and doneness for your steak. Medium well is quite tender and delicious for rump steak but might also be a little overcooked since there could be bitter burnt crisps. On the other hand, dipping the steak into the pepper sauce or salt is even tastier. The chips are well-seasoned, salty, relatively crispy, and flat. To sum up, the beachfront view out there is clear and beautiful but not as spectacular as in Burleigh Heads. The service speed and attitude are both great but the mobile phone reception is poor and there are flies flying around, which is kinda disturbing but I believe it can be improved. The prices are also reasonable for its portions of foods. You can come here by G link tram to Broadbeach South, transfer for 700 or 777 bus to get off at Christine Ave, and walk for a few minutes. Overall, it’s a 8.5 out of 10!

Guys you need to change chef!! We have been coming here for years and the last few times the food has been shocking. Schnitzel was frozen and watery. Mouthful of water every bite! Sauces were so watered down! Steak was chewy! Great venue great atmosphere terrible food! Come on guys the food use to be amazing!!!

The meals received are not as written on the menu. Apparently there is a new Chef. The Spicy S&P calamari comes with a mixed leaf salad with a vinaigrette dressing not Wombok salad with Asian dressing. The kids platter is supposed to be gluten free but comes with chips and marinated chicken, but missing the fruit & veg. The food is cooked fine, they just go a bit rouge so you don’t know what you are going to get. Apparently there is a new chef, he definitely needs to take some time to learn the menu or change the menu to reflect what you are going to get. The last 2 weeks in a row we have received the wrong ingredients.

We had a drink here on Sunday afternoon. What a great people watching spot! We got a table right on the deck upstairs. Love that they serve prosecco in piccolo bottles - no flat bubbles here! Definitely a great spot and we'll be back!

Very disappointed with the experience at North Burleigh this time! Have been going to this venue for years and always enjoyed the food. This time was far from what we would have expected! On arrival I had to get bar staff to clean down a recently vacated table. That’s fine but the look from the staff member was as if I was inconveniencing her day! The adjacent table had 2 meals partly eaten and left there. With the beef burger only having several mouthfuls taken from it with the remainder left behind, warning signs I think! Any way five people in our group all ordered together 2 X Tacos and 2 X Burgers and 1 Calamari with Wombok salad with crispy noodles. The Tacos and Burgers turned up within 20 minutes of ordering. 20 minutes later still no Calamari salad. Questioned wait staff about this and then about 10 minutes later the meal finally turns up. But the salad was not Wombok and the noodles were far from crispy! The salad was mixed lettuce salad and I’m not sure what happened to the noodles but but they were tough and dry and inedible! Wait staff were informed and offered to replace the meal. But considering the rest of the group had already finished their meals I decided to eat the Calamari and some of the salad rather than wait for another half an hour not knowing what quality of meal I would receive. Wait staff were understanding and said that I would receive a refund on my meal which was probably the best outcome. Have been a member here now for about 5 years and unfortunately will not be returning as have found other venues close by that offer a far better experience. Edit: the upgrade of the Club is magnificent and the food is impressive! Glad we decided to go back 😉😋 couldn’t fault the meals we ordered and large portions!

We had father's day lunch at Sandfire...upstairs...we had amazing views of the beach....they even turned on an amazing whale watching experience. Sarah, the restaurant manager, was amazing. A real asset to the business...she knew the menu, she knew local info, she made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. 10/10 would recommend great food, fabulous service, utterly beautiful views Can't wait to try the new season menu.

The food was warm, homely and inviting. Our server was efficient and accomodating with wine and food recommendations. A little disappointed that the $25 Thursday Pasta and Wine night only has one option instead of being a themed night focusing on pasta, with dietary restrictions. However this did give the opportunity to try more of the menu, and explore the many different types of wine they have. We were seated next to a large table that’s positioned in the middle of the restaurant, it was quite loud at times, but apart from that the music and space of the restaurant was clean and enjoyable. Thank you so much! Wish I could have the spanakopita recipe!

Steak night in Maman!! Amazing food! The young chef was amazing with the detail of every dish! Good environment and a lot of love in everything! I am definitely come back! 😍😍😍😍

We came here on a Tuesday night and had the steak deal—$25 with chips— so juicy. We also had the yellowfin tuna, which was an easy 8.5/10. It had a perfect balance of salt and capers that complemented the freshness of the raw fish beautifully. The halloumi with blueberry compote? 10/10. Next. Level. The meze platter was definitely a must-have for our table of 3 and the roasted garlic was a simple but delicious touch! Chefs kiss. Cocktails were another highlight. I wasn’t sure what to order, so I asked the team to surprise me with something sweet, vodka or tequila-based, and pretty. The bar staff nailed it! Customised service too? Love. And finally, dessert. The manager, Joe, recommended the apple strudel pie with vanilla bean ice cream and a brown sugar drizzle, and honestly? 100/10. If I could’ve eaten the entire thing myself, I would have. Will be back.

Disappointing Experience Despite Delicious Food While the food at Mamans was undeniably delicious, the overall experience left much to be desired. We waited over an hour for our meals, and during that time, the waitstaff seemed to avoid addressing the situation. We had to ask just to place a second drink order while we continued to wait. Unfortunately, no additional water was offered, either. Considering the buzz around this restaurant on social media, we were really looking forward to the experience. However, the service fell short of expectations. To make matters worse, after the long wait, several of our dishes were missed entirely. I had to request that we not be charged for these missing items. If you’re thinking about dining at Mamans, I would say the food is worth trying, but be prepared for a long wait and subpar service. Hopefully, they can improve on these areas in the future.

I cannot express how amazing this restaurant is! From the food, the staff, the atmosphere, the vibes and the amazing weekly specials, this is the best restaurant i’ve been to in the gold coast. My partner and I have been here a few times now and every time we leave in awe. We had the pleasure of having Joe and Lucas hosting our table on steak night and the service was impeccable. The food came out fast and delicious and heating and music inside kept us so cozy. I can’t recommend this place enough! Thankyou Maman, we will be back!

Had such an amazing experience at this restaurant from start to finish, everything just felt easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a laid-back vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed night out. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Came in to celebrate my birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We ordered the set menu, which was the best option with a great variety of food at a very reasonable price. The food was amazing, and the staff was really attentive. Chef Mayumi is incredible, providing the best dining experience for all of us. Thank you so much, we will definitely come back again!

It’s such a nice and spacious park with public toilets, bins, picnic spaces, a sandy playground area, shelters with dining tables, and a platform with the magnificent beach and ocean views.

We camped here for a weekend of racing at Willowbank Raceway. The toilets were handle unfortunately 2 out of the 3 where blocked with toilet paper. There was a decent size rubbish bin

Lovely facilities, friendly locals, variety of shops, pet friendly area, wonderful environment, great beach and views near by also a nice park to bring the kids and relaxation on the other side. Love coming here always a pleasure. Also a few tables to each lunch instead of sitting on the ground which is wheelchair friendly/ limitation friendly. My pup was so pooped after spending the day out meeting so many other dogs. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent park right in the action of central Burleigh beach. The main walking path and carpark are next to this park so it's always very buzzing with lots of people and action. Has clean toilets and a kids playground, making for a perfect place to relax on the green grass.

We celebrated my daughter’s milestone birthday at Seaside Kitchen and Bar. The staff went out of their way to make my daughter feel very special from offering advice on her first cocktail to decorating the table especially for her. Cocktails were beautifully presented and delicious and the food was fresh and not overpowered by sauces. Seafood was fresh and tasty. They also accommodated for my gluten and onion free dietary restrictions. A quiet and beautiful restaurant.

Dine in here last week ordered spring rolls & a king prawn green curry& boiled rice I wanted panang prawn but they wouldn’t add potato unless I paid more for it the main was served to me cold I had to ask for it to be heated up it was microwaved & was given back to me only warm temperature, overall okay food but for $42 I would not expect cold food to be served to me. Staff were okay not overly friendly at the counter, but waitress was kind & had smiled, Parking in Burleigh is a nightmare so be prepared to park in Jane’s st if you can get one & I only stopped in as I was down there & needed to eat something for dinner they don’t serve coffee only for cocktails as in espresso martini’s, so you can have alcohol or soda I had water. Also was charged $1 for a plastic container & had to put my left overs into the container myself 🤔 Update went back again service was good staff friendly give it a go

Five of us enjoyed our meals here. Duck pancakes were nice the seafood stirfry and stirfry seafood curry were really good with a good selection of seafood. Deep fried chicken cashew stirfry also very good. Our waitress seemed to be in a very bad mood and was not polite and made mistakes. Good value for money, also it is in the Entertainment Book. Good seating in the open air.

I’ll be dreaming about the Khao soi until the next time I can eat it. The outdoor patio is also pet-friendly!

Seaside Thai in Burleigh is truly exceptional — the service is warm and attentive, and the Thai Beef Salad is one of the best I’ve ever had. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, packed with flavour but not too spicy. Topped it off with a Prosecco (or maybe a Margarita next time!) and my day was made. Wish I’d taken a photo — but it was gone too fast! 😋

On a Sunday morning we organised a birthday celebration for that evening. We arrived at the restaurant to a beautifully decorated table and gorgeous birthday sign. The food is always so tasty and the 7 of us had a wonderful time. Best Thai in Burleigh. We will return.

Burleigh Pavilion Catering comes highly recommended by all at our Xmas Party. We absolutely loved the catering and the food was incredible! We indulged in the pig on the spit, roast chicken, roast potatoes and all salads were delicious. Made for some awesome leftovers too. To top it off, the staff were a delight!

The team at Burleigh Pavillion Catering went truly above and beyond job for our wedding! Kath, Sarah and their team were very helpful and reliable partners for planning our big day. Even when faced with a last-minute disaster due to cyclone Alfred they were supportive when we had to reschedule the event. The quality of the food was outstanding, easily the best we have ever eaten at a wedding and meets the standard of what you have when you dine at their location. They were very competitive in price and their service definitely exceeded what others in the area had to offer. We can’t thank them enough for making our special day, and we cannot recommend them more highly!

It’s a great place to surf, canoe, play frisbee and go fishing on the rocks an and a lot of tranquility here. Beaches are partially saturated even if the waves barely reach there. Most interestingly, you can see the airplane flying overhead and even hear the sounds clearly. Currumbin has become one of my top places in the Gold Coast,

This beach is just about a 10-minute walk from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s not crowded at all, making it a very peaceful and relaxing spot to enjoy the ocean.

It has a beach perfect for surfing, and a calm, deep swimming pool. It is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and everything, and the sand is very fine and clean. I love the emerald-clean ocean water, too. kids and dogs friendly. It's by far the best beach.

Nice beach, but not a lot of shady Palms on the sand. Pack an umbrella or beach tent. Nice walk along the foreshore and cafes along the way, which get busy.

DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAP DROP PIN AND DRIVE UP THE MOUNTAIN!!! You will arrive at residential dead end. If you don’t want to see the palm beach side, you don’t need to hike up. The parking lot already have good view of goals coast beach and relaxing grass patch.

Love the view here. You can see the southern side of the Gold Coast here, the coastline is beautiful. You can even see Coolangatta from here, which is the suburb of Gold Coast that borders with NSW!

Great lookout, has a bit steep uphill walk to get to the lookout. We just took our time to get there with a fiew rest on the wat. But really worth it

A quiet lookout perched above the park, offering a stunning view toward Palm Beach. It’s an easy stop along the trail and one of the best spots in the area for taking photos—especially on a clear day when the coastline stretches endlessly into the distance.

I visited John Laws Park at the Esplanade in Burleigh Heads and absolutely loved it! It's perfectly located between Burleigh Beach and Burleigh Head National Park, making it a great spot to relax before or after a walk. The viewing deck offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, beach, ocean, and waves — incredibly soothing and peaceful for the mind. Whether you're there for a quiet moment or to take in the scenery, it's a beautiful and calming spot that’s definitely worth visiting. There's plenty of parking available and the toilets are clean and well-maintained.

When my cousin’s wife suggested we pay a visit to this area of the Gold Coast I never imagined it would have been this amazing! What a beautiful scenic area this is. The hills surrounding the area as well as the beach with surfers and sun bathers alike. And this was during their winter! It was a scenic walk along the path and never a dull moment! 😎👍

Nice place, good restaurants and shops nearby. Busy and yet not overly crowded. If you’re a tourist this is not the place for you, you will be disappointed with the night life. Surfers Paradise is much better!

Perfect place for families, picnic, national park walk, dining out. There is a playground that little kids can enjoy.

I drove from Goulburn to Brisbane in my truck and ran out of hours to continue. I was lucky enough to pull up next to the park, and the groundskeeper and staff went above and beyond to find me a site to stay on — even during such a busy time. Couldn’t be more grateful for their help and kindness. A huge thank you from me and the entire Racesafe team we truly appreciate it! Highly recommended and will be back!

I understand that the tram works is outside of the parks control however it was exceptionally loud and went on all night!! I would seriously reconsider staying here while the works is going on! The location is very good, the ablutions old (fine, but could also be cleaner…!), and the staff are friendly.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay with my family. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo/ conditioner, face washers and tea towels which was amazing! Fantastic clean amenities along with the grounds being super well maintained. Loved being so close to the beach and walking distance to shops. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Bonus was the meal voucher for the surf club. Our cabin was comfortable. Beds clean and well made. Our outdoor BBQ was playing up so couldn’t cook our snags and some of the walls inside our villa could do with a good scrub. But I would still Definitely recommend staying here.

I just love Burleigh beach, great walking, always vibrant, plenty tables and BBQs. Well maintained and generally clean, worth a visit, however very bird noisy at sundown.

Good wide walking & bike riding track, perfect for your pets to exercise.

Together with several adjoining parks this park creates a lovely long stretch of parkland from North Burleigh to South Burleigh. Multiple access points to a fantastic beach with three patrolled sections along it. Plenty of sand wash off facilities, amenity blocks, picnic areas, playgrounds and exercise stations. Nice wide footpath allowing mix of walkers, runners, cyclists etc. Parking can be a problem but worth the effort.

One of the best places at the Gold Coast and getting better and better! New cafes and restaurants like mushroom since the Pavillon renovations! Sundays and Saturdays the park fills with people, forming small groups enjoying the late sun! This park and area has its own vibe, magic!

The Park still has much of the ambiance it had many years ago. Pleasant and useable Parkland. I walked the beach from Burleigh to North Burleigh and unfortunately noted that a great beach which formerly accommodated many hundreds of families and young people is now sparsely populated due probably to Covid and restricted travel. Still a great beach and park.

Beautiful and peaceful, it offers stunning views, especially at sunset. Clean and less crowded, it’s a perfect spot for unwinding by the sea.

Located at the base of Burleigh headland among the basalt boulders there are shallow pools here at low tide. Probably not for inexperienced swimmers who should swim between the flags on the main beach, but beautiful to see from Burleigh Hill.

13.9.2023 - WOW! It's worth the stop in! The water and walk were gorgeous! Stopped to take in the view and seen whale's popping in and out of the water. Walking track well maintained.

This is the best rock pool in Gold Coast where kids can encounter various species of sea animals. Better visit when the tide is low so you can venture further and explore wonders of the sea.

Beautiful scenery especially during sunset you can see the mirror reflection in the pool. Kids absolutely love it!

Heaps of shells for the kids to search through. Fantastic location with a kids playground there as well.

A place where many surfers gather. There are a lot of rocks, but the sea water is beautiful.

Nice spot, no toilets or other amenities at all... Bit of a sketchy carpark so take all your stuff. The walk around the headland is nice and wear adequate footwear.

Easy walk in the nature past mangroves and forest. We saw black cockatoos, kingfishers and even koala walking from tree to another! You can park the car in wildlife park parking area—the track starts right there and is free to walk.

Nice shaded walk. Easy grade. Will take you about 50 min return. Only 3.1k long. Nice views and good shade cover. Which is important on a sunny hot day. Several places where you can get to the river for a quick swim along the way.

Date of visit: Sun 14 May 2023 Time : 8.30 am There is a big car park at the David Fleay Wildlife Park so I started here. The trail boardwalk and ground trail runs a bit alongside the estuary and the coast. A tiny section had a land slip so some steps were constructed for a short detour. I ended at the Ocean Parade Road and there are just 3 or 4 off-road free spaces to park a car. I continued my walk and made my way all the way to the Burleigh Heads National Park southern entrance. Toilets available there. I doubled back. A pleasant and easy walk taking about 1 and a half hours.

Absolutely stunning walk. We started at the David Fleay end and hit the boardwalk and enjoyed the mangroves. We were surprised when it turned into more of a bush walk with scenic views and because flora. We walked as far as the first road which had a drinking water station and then made our way back. It was roughly 4kms to that point and back. We had a toddler with us so didn’t want to venture off the path too much, but we noticed walking paths towards the end of the walk that went to the beach. Would love to explore further another time.

An easy walk on a good trail other than where there has been a washout. Worth a visit if you're in the area. No dogs allowed.

My favourite place for a walking, beautiful view and very quiet and peaceful. Very good walking track and one way about 1.5km.

I don’t usually write reviews, but sometimes a service excels to the point I believe it deserves recognition. Thinking Hand Studios is one of these cases. At 77 years old, I have attended numerous art classes. I have never found these classes to offer the level of excellence Thinking Hand Studios does. The atmosphere, set up, individual attention from tutor, and especially learning of new skills excels any previous class I have taken. I’m an average artist, but want my work to end up top quality. I mostly make wildlife sculptures. Due to being a retired zookeeper, I want my sculptures to be realistic with a high level of detail. I would not be able to produce the quality of sculptures I want without the extra guidance and expertise of this art studio. Damian is an exceptional sculptor himself, but unlike many tutors, he is able to breakdown how to make an intricate, lifelike sculpture into manageable steps so that your everyday person can produce exceptional work. I leave each class having had an enjoyable and productive time.

Fantastic place to learn clay sculpture and Jewellery making. Individual personalised attention broken down into small steps by world class teachers that will help you to gain skill while making pieces that look professional and 👏 🙀 amazing. I went as a total beginner and felt supported in a relaxed friendly place. If you've ever wanted to sculpt or Jewellery make then this is the place. Just do it you won't regret it.

Best place to learn the basics of sculpting with friendly assistance when needed. I have really enjoyed learning about sculpture techniques and achieving something I thought would be a problem. I have made several pieces with great success. Have a go you will love it.

I recently attended a private wax carving workshop with Damian and it was fabulous. Damian is a professional and knowledgeable teacher with a wonderful passion for what he does. The tools and equipment we used was great and the communication before and after the workshop was fantastic. I learned so many new skills and had lots of fun. I can't wait to come back for more sessions and further my jewellery practice. Would definitely recommend workshops at Thinking Hand Studios.

I have weekly sessions at Thinking Hand Studios to learn jewellery making skills and have found Cal and Damian to be extremely knowledgable and helpful and inspiring. They allow me to pursue my own direction and help me learn what I want or I have a more structured class to learn the skills I need. I have now mastered loads of new skills and am well on my way to launching my own products and jewellery brand. A very friendly and pressure free place to learn. Highly recommended!"

Had a wonderful day today doing a two hour wax molding session. Have never done any of this before despite dreaming of it for years. Great teacher, lovely space. Very inspiring, can't wait to do more here.

Beyond thrilled! I am half way through my chosen course and am so happy I chose thinking hand studios, Damien and the team are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and best of all HAPPY to share all of that wisdom with his students. I was a little worried given the financial investment as well as the time as I also travel from Brisbane down to the studio - but I have not regretted it for a second in fact I am already planning on what I can enrol in next.
