Waterfalls
Katoomba Falls is a stunning multi-tiered waterfall located in the Blue Mountains, tumbling 150 meters into the Jamison Valley. The best way to experience it is by taking the 3-kilometer Katoomba Falls Round Walk, which starts at Scenic World carpark and offers views of the falls from various lookout points along the trail.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Katoomba Falls is absolutely worth the hike! It took us about 45 minutes from the Three Sisters, and the walk itself was beautiful. The falls are stunning — with crystal clear water and breathtaking views. A must-see spot in the Blue Mountains!
Vinewood K — Google review
Been to this place couple of times and it's always been peaceful. Kids loves it however water was so cold. There is also a bench where you can sit and access is through stairs but there ain't many.
Solly — Google review
I visited Katoomba Falls on a bright, windy day, and it was truly a breathtaking experience. This stunning natural wonder is a must-see when exploring the Blue Mountains. From a distance, the cascading water sparkled in the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing view. As I followed the winding trail closer to the falls, I was captivated by the sheer power and beauty of the rushing water. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes to navigate the rocky paths and bringing a jacket, as the air can get quite brisk during cooler weather. It's important to stay on the designated trails to fully appreciate the environment and ensure safety. Katoomba Falls is not just a sight to behold; it’s an adventure that you won't want to miss!

Camped at the falls caravan park. It's good access to the falls the 3 Sisters lookout and Scenic World. It's a lovely walk and part is light up at night so you can do the walk in the dark
Pamela R — Google review
A beautiful spot. Took my lil family for a some nature time. Love the fact there's multiple ways and routes to this spot. You have the choice of cable car, Bus and for the fit hikers a 45 minute trek.
Saia F — Google review
Walked from the Information centre to the Katoomba Cascades. Such a beautiful walk. Medium intensity walk. So worth the 20 or so minutes to get there. The walking track is paved well, stepping stones too. Very picturesque.
Charlie L — Google review
Beautiful waterfall with stunning views and peaceful walking tracks. A must-visit spot in the Blue Mountains!
Sakshi S — Google review
Katoomba falls is located within the Blue Mountains National Park. You get to view the falls from Scenic Park Skyway and you can also take a walk via the walking trail from the Echo Point which can take upto 1.5 hrs including return. We took the Skyway and the view was excellent from the top giving a panoramic view. The Skyway driver gives a narrative about the falls as you pass through the gorge. The Skyway takes about 5 mins to cross one way. A must visit when you visit the Blue Mountains National Park.

Historical landmark
Everglades House & Gardens, located in Leura, is a charming 1930s art deco home surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. The property offers guided tours and traditional tea rooms for visitors to enjoy. Once the residence of Henri Van de Velde, an importer/exporter and fitness enthusiast, the house still features original elements like a 1930s-style steam chamber and a large spa upstairs.
Everglades House & Gardens in Leura is a hidden gem in the Blue Mountains. The 1930s Art Deco house is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, offering stunning views over the Jamison Valley. The gardens are meticulously maintained, featuring a variety of plants and flowers that bloom throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk through the terraces, explore the grotto pool, and relax in the tea rooms that serve delightful refreshments. It's a perfect spot for nature lovers and those interested in history and architecture. Highly recommended for a serene and enriching experience.
Haidelyn M — Google review
For a small garden, I really enjoyed visiting! There’s not too much that really wowed me but I did love the waterfall (grotto) but I wish there was more access to it. It was exciting to see some wildlife, such as some ducks resting in shade! My highlight was the grotto & the greenery, definitely a good garden to visit if you enjoy walking & exploring! Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the tearooms. I had been looking forward to visiting them but the environment was very intimidating, I’d like to visit again on a quieter day.
Emma M — Google review
Managed by the national trust and operated by volunteers, a nice relaxing hideaway tonvisit on weekends. There is an entry fee to support upkeep and the grounds and buildings are well kept. Best time to go is spring. $17/adult or a family pass for $40. You can spend an hour or two there and a converted squash court has an art gallery that hosts local artists every few weeks. Volunteers are helpful and approachable
Giulio C — Google review
This is a beautiful venue to visit, the entry fee is reasonable. I have visited a few times over the last 5 years. This time I actually was able to visit in spring which didn’t disappoint! I have visited in all seasons, it’s always lovely. One thing - it certainly helps if there’s good weather! There are facilities and food & drinks available on site as well. Definitely worth visiting.
Caroline A — Google review
The tearooms are lovely and although the menu is limited, our toasties were delicious. The Art Deco house, while not large, is well worth the visit. The views from the bedrooms are amazing and the bathrooms quite something. The beautiful gardens were full of azaleas and rhododendrons. My only complaint would be that it is far from accessible for those with mobility needs. The disabled carspaces are no wider than the normal ones and there is a steep climb up from them. There are virtually no paths, other than the driveway for people who have difficulty with stairs, let alone for those in a wheelchair. This is a shame, because with a little thought I am sure this could be altered with no detrimental effects.
Diana — Google review
Beautiful little garden area to visit, with a blend of Japanese and native Australian plants and trees, it has a breathtaking view down the bottom of the gardens also. Highly recommend
Brandon R — Google review
The only garden unchanged since designed! We went in Spring with everything in full bloom. To die for original Art Deco main house. An absolutely must visit when in the mountains.
Nicola G — Google review
Very pretty and well maintained garden where every turn unfolds a new scenery of blooms and colours. Byo food& a rug for a lovely picnic in this garden as all cafes in Leura street has become overpriced.

Evans Lookout is a picturesque spot near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, offering breathtaking views of mountains and cliffs. It's easily accessible with nearby parking, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The exposed orange cliffs create stunning light effects during sunrise and sunset. This lookout serves as the starting point for serious hikes and is located at the beginning of the popular Grand Canyon Track. The expansive view from Evans Lookout encompasses Grose Valley, Govetts Creek, and towering sandstone cliffs.
Parking is next to the start of the walk to the lookout. Toilets are also here and were clean. The walk to the lookout is paved and wheelchair friendly. Some of the pathways have rails, and there are also 2 spaces to sit along the walk. It's about a 5 minute walk to the viewing area, which has more seating. Lovely view and well worth the visit.
Beckie T — Google review
Visited Evans Lookout for the first time on a rainy day, and it turned out to be a truly peaceful and memorable experience. The soft rain and mist made the whole valley look mystical and serene—nature in its purest form. It was quiet, calm, and perfect for slowing down and just taking in the beauty around. The views over the Grose Valley are absolutely stunning, even in overcast weather. The walking tracks are well-maintained, clearly marked, and safe, making it a great place for both casual walkers and more serious hikers. A wonderful spot to enjoy nature, take photos, or just breathe in the fresh mountain air. Highly recommend, whether it's sunny or raining!
Sanjaya S — Google review
Beautiful lookout and the start of The Grand Canyon walk. My favourite of all the walks we did in The Blue Mountains NP. Lots of stairs and a good level of fitness recommended. Go clockwise if you want a gentler climb out of the canyon or anticlockwise if your knees don't like going down steep steps. 10/10. 😁
Kirri B — Google review
Evans Lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Grose Valley, with visitors praising its stunning cliff-top vistas and serene atmosphere, though the area can get busy. It serves as a popular starting point for challenging valley hikes, including the famous Grand Canyon walk, which is known for its numerous steps and changing scenery. The lookout is easily accessible from Blackheath, with a short, well-maintained path from a small car park leading to the primary viewing platform.
Kaim C — Google review
I visited this place on a sunny afternoon, just as the sunlight reached halfway down the valley. The air was cool and refreshing, and the trees were lush and green. There were long walking trails perfect for exploring, and plenty of parking spaces available. Many people had come to enjoy the breathtaking views. I spent an entire day in the Blue Mountains, and it was absolutely worth it — one of the best days I’ve had.

Evans Lookout is one of the most stunning viewpoints in the Blue Mountains. The lookout gives a breathtaking, panoramic view over the Grose Valley, with endless cliffs, dense forest, and shifting light that makes every visit unique. It’s easy to access, with a short walk from the car park, and there are well-marked walking tracks nearby for those who want to explore deeper. Sunrise and sunset are especially magical here, as the valley glows with rich colors. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves nature, photography, or just wants a quiet place to take in the beauty of the mountains.

Hiking Trails
The Grand Canyon Walking Track is a 6-km loop that provides breathtaking views of sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, and rainforest. Established in 1907, it's one of the most popular walks in the Blue Mountains. The trail takes hikers through diverse ecosystems, from dry sclerophyll forest to cool-temperate rainforests. Guided tours are available for a more immersive experience.
The Grand Canyon Walk is an unforgettable experience an absolute must-do for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts. The trail is beautifully maintained and takes you through lush rainforest, dramatic sandstone cliffs, trickling waterfalls, and fern-lined gullies. Every turn reveals something breathtaking, and the cool, shaded path makes it enjoyable even on warmer days. It’s about a 6km loop and moderately challenging, with some steep sections and lots of stairs, but it’s totally worth it for the scenery. You really feel like you’ve stepped into a hidden world. Make sure to wear good shoes and take your time to enjoy the surroundings photos just don’t do it justice. Highly recommend starting early to beat the crowds and allow plenty of time to explore. Easily one of the best walks in the Blue Mountains!
Pradeep W — Google review
We finished the loop in about 2.5 hours, with plenty of photo stops and a snack break. Our pace was medium and felt just right—enough time to soak it in without rushing. We went anti-clockwise, which I’d recommend if you get tired on long climbs. You go down a lot of stairs first, then finish with a shorter climb back up. Your calves will feel the downhill the next day, though! Many of the best views were behind us, so don’t forget to look back. Clockwise has its perks, too. You start with the epic Evans Lookout view, and the scenery gradually changes into a rainforest, but the uphill at the end is longer and tougher. Tips: - Start early (we began at 9 am, and it was already getting busy). - Bring a hat handy for sun and dripping canyon walls. - Wear proper shoes, waterproof if possible, lots of damp steps and puddles. It’s incredible to see how nature works here. If you’re into planted aquariums, you’ll love the rocks and canyon walls covered in lush moss. Overall, easily one of the best walks in the Blue Mountains. Whether you go clockwise or anti-clockwise, you’ll still face stairs the canyon is deep. But if you prefer a gentler finish, anti-clockwise is the way to go.
Arjun L — Google review
I did the Grand Canyon Walk in the Blue Mountains with a couple of friends and it was our third time doing it. We parked at Evan’s Point Lookout and started from there which makes for a really nice beginning to the track. The initial downhill walk is amazing because you are surrounded by incredible views and slowly make your way into the canyon. Once you are down in the rainforest it feels like a completely different world. The air is cool and fresh, the sound of the water running through the creeks is calming, and walking under the tall trees is simply blissful. It is one of those parts of the Blue Mountains that makes you appreciate just how special this area is. You can take your time to enjoy the scenery. There are plenty of beautiful spots to pause, look around, and take photos. The rainforest section is my favourite part because you get to experience a mix of shade, greenery, and natural rock formations that feel untouched. However, the last 40 minutes of the track are quite tough as it is mostly uphill and can really test your fitness. It is important to be prepared for that section because it feels quite different from the rest of the walk. If you are planning to do this for the first time, I would recommend carrying enough water and a few snacks to keep your energy up. Choose a sunny day if you can because the light makes the rainforest even more beautiful and it is nice to have clear conditions when you are walking. Take your time, enjoy the views, and do not hesitate to stop for breaks along the way.

Absolutely stunning walk! The Grand Canyon Track in Blackheath is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Blue Mountains. The trail takes you through lush rainforest, mossy cliffs, and little waterfalls — it honestly feels like stepping into another world. The path is well maintained, but expect lots of stairs and some slippery sections after rain. Took me around 3 hours at a relaxed pace. Highly recommend starting early to enjoy the peace and magic. Don’t miss the views from Evans Lookout. A perfect amazing walk! 🌿🥾
Pratikshya N — Google review
Wow! Definitely the best trail I’ve ever done! So beautiful from start to end, this walks really has it all in terms of beauty! Highly recommend! The walk back is continuous 40 min include but it’s very doable with lots of stops to admire the scenery 😉 we finished in just under 3 hours.

One of the best tracks in Sydney. So beautiful full of unique plants. It's like entering a rain forest. So may hidden location to explore. Recommend to deviate from the actual path to find hidden treasures. Crocs approved!!!

Incredible track. About a 6km loop and did it in 2 hours. The stairs are a killer while ascending! An amazing view at the end depending which way you start. Toilets and plenty of parking available!

Located near Govetts Leap Lookout, the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre is a must-visit before hitting the trails. The center offers interactive displays and videos providing valuable information about the park, along with the opportunity to purchase walking track guides, maps, and books. Visitors can also delve into the area's Aboriginal history and culture through informative posters and a gallery showcasing local art. Additionally, there's a theater for viewing films about the region.
We parked at the Heritage Centre and did the circular Fairfax Heritage Track via the George Philips Lookout and Govetts Leap Lookout, which took us back to the Heritage Centre. About 1.5 miles along wide mostly tarred tracks. Great views from the Lookouts, especially of Bridal Veil Waterfalls.

The people here are so helpful and friendly. Special thank you to Denise who responded to our call after the trail we wanted to hike was closed. She suggested to come visit the centre and she showed us many alternative options that were fantastic, and we had a stunning and memorable trip to the Blue Mountains because of her assistance!

I would always recommend a stop here before you head off for a bushwalk or if you are planning the next few days in the mountains. The staff are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and there are lots of resources to help plan a walk or your stay . The little gift shop is very good quality too. And don't forget it is 1min by car from one of the best views in the mountains, and the start of many trails. Check it out!

Informative visitor centre to find out plenty about the walking trails , history and geography of the blue mountains , with particular focus on the Gross Valley. Scenic spot
Govetts Leap lookout in Blackheath offers a stunning panoramic view of the upper Grose Valley and Bridal Veil Falls. The area features a visitor center, picnic tables, and restrooms for visitors' convenience. Named after William Govett, the first European to admire this view, the lookout is well-known to several Aboriginal nations. The scenery includes the breathtaking Bridal Veil Falls cascading 180 meters into the valley below.
Amazing and stunning views all around the look out. View can be much better if clear sky conditions. Have accessible toilets, small huts made from small rocks with seats and table. Be aware of cliff and strong winds. Well maintained pathways. You can drive up next to look out and parking available. Has Wheelchair access to look out as well.

It’s been 3 years since I moved to Australia, but I must say this is the best sunrise spot I’ve ever seen. The place is beautifully maintained—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped with huts, washrooms, tables, and chairs, making it perfect to relax and spend as much time as you want. There are plenty of walking tracks to explore as well. While weekends can get busy, just a short 3-minute walk on the left-side track will lead you to a quieter spot where you can truly enjoy some “me time.

I visited this place on a public holiday — it wasn’t sunny but cloudy. I saw a beautiful waterfall, along with deep valleys and mountains covered in lush green trees. It was incredibly scenic and peaceful. A few visitors were there, enjoying the stunning view. There were also parking facilities and restrooms available.

Absolutely breathtaking. More private and not are crowded. The views are still amazing, so if you don’t want to wait for a parking spot for 30 minutes and fight to take a picture then definitely recommend it over Echo Point.

Visited Govetts Leap Lookout on a rainy day for my first hike, and honestly, the weather made it even more magical. The mist, fresh air, and gentle rain brought out the peaceful and raw beauty of nature—truly unforgettable. The walking tracks are well-organised and safe, with clear signage and maintained paths. It's a great spot whether you’re after a short scenic stop or a longer hike. Pulpit Rock Lookout is a popular spot near Blackheath, offering panoramic views of the valley, forest, and sheer cliffs. It protrudes from a rock high above Grose Valley, providing close to 360-degree views of the Blue Mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking while taking in the expansive scenery with family and friends. The lookout serves as the starting point for the Pulpit walking track leading to Govetts Leap lookout.
Not busy like the other lookouts as it's not near any main roads, you drive down a dirt track. Short walk down to the lookout. There are 3 or 4 different platforms where you can enjoy the view from. It is very quiet and serene as you're away from the crowds. So quiet that you can hear waterfalls that you can't even see! You definitely get a leg and butt workout on the way back up to the car. Definitely recommend if you want to take in a stunning view in serenity.

Amazing place with an excellent view. Great to seat and admire it. We did the walk from Govetts Leap to Pulpit, is an mid-level trekking with beautiful views (you will see falls, bush, mountains and if you're lucky some wild animals). Because there are some spring waters you could find water in the track. If you have, wear trekking shoes :)

One of the best views on Blue Mountain area. Few kilometres drive from Blackheath town and then another 1-2km drive on unsealed road. It can be bit tricky for very low clearance car to go there on rainy days. But if no rain then it is OK to go. I went here many times with very low clearance vehicle without any issues. Place has many viewing platforms.. Each place give different view. No designated car park. So you just park at the end of the road closer to the pulpit rock sign. About 400m downhill walk to the viewing area.
MC A — Google review
Wow it's beautiful. Not even 15min down to the pulpit rock lookout from the carpark. I went on my bike and with bike gear on and I managed the walk fine. The lookout is amazing .
Nafiza H — Google review
Walking through the bush, we had butterflies, dragonflies and lizards grace the path. The path would be awash with native flora at the right season - in Jan there were a few flowers with most past their prime. There are three levels of lookouts, which get you right out into the middle of the Grose Valley, so you can look both ways across the valley. Definitely worth continuing down to the last level. Horseshoe Fall can be heard across the way, as well as a smaller fall near the lookout. Truly spectacular.
Sarah F — Google review
Went to visit this amazing spot, due to the recent bushfire this lookout was closed to the public. The road is blocked. I still managed to send the drone over for a look and wow! I can't wait to visit this beautiful place and see it in person

⭐️FIVE STARS⭐️ I cannot express how amazing and good this lookout (and little track further out) is !!!! It has sensational views that stretch very very far out, and if you take the little track from the farther lookout it is a fun and adventurous little hike/walk that goes even MORE further out with another lookout. I would recommend if you are fit and well and able that you go! It’s worth the drive and time well spent.

One of the best stargazing spots I’ve ever been to. With zero light pollution, it’s an absolute dream for astronomy lovers. Standing under that endless sky, surrounded by countless stars, felt surreal, like stepping into another dimension. Moments like this remind you how much light pollution has stolen from us, but here, you get to see the universe in its purest form. Highly recommend this place.

An amazing view of the valleys and mountains! I couldn’t imagine a better place for a picnic or stop for a glass of wine! Plenty of bushwalking and hikes available in the area and a short beautiful drive to the Megalong Valley! Highlight of the trip!!!
Luke B — Google review
What a spectacular view. Out over the valleys below seems to stretch away forever. The view back to the cliffs at Medlow Baths and down to Narrow Neck are inspiring. The drive in is easy, the gravel road is smoother than many of the local bitumen ones, but always be careful. There are new clean toilets(long drop) and some cute old stone picnic shelters. You can even walk down and out to the far lookout. Worth the detour on your way back from the valley. Or a special trip out from Blackheath.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in a historic homestead, Pins on Lurline offers a contemporary dining experience with Australian influences. Chef Adam Shaw crafts seasonal menus using local produce, offering six or ten-course tasting options. The well-matched wine flight features selections from nearby regions like Orange and the Hunter Valley. This Katoomba favorite provides an upscale yet relaxed setting for indulging in fusion dishes that blend contemporary Australian flavors with Asian influences.
A must go restaurant at Katoomba if you are going to a special event such as an anniversary or birthday celebration. The service at the place is quite good. The restaurant provides 6 courses or 10 courses meal selection. The waiter or waitresses will provide an explanation on each course delivered to your front. The food delivered are great too. They are quite a class in turn of the plating and taste. Well, they take note of the dietary restrictions. The atmosphere at the restaurant gives a calm and nice feeling of celebrating the anniversary and enjoy fine dining experience. We have a good time at the restaurant.

The otherwise mainly stellar reviews for this restaurant are at stark contrast with my experience here, starting at 7.30pm on Friday 20/12/2024 (my birthday dinner). Off to a shaky start with the foaming canister not working as normal for the first course chef selection snack. An hour later at 8.30pm, the scallop entree arrives, it was ok though the "spicy mayo" was unremarkable and an unnecessary element to an otherwise fine dish. Then an hour passed by. There was only one other couple and a family of four seated alongside my husband and I in the dining room. We could tell the kitchen was having issues by the loud and purposeful clanging, possibly only staffed by one loud, belligerent individual who popped out intermittently (not in chef gear). Apologetic wait staff brought out the braised pork belly dish at 9.20pm, which was tough/chewy, again, with very unremarkable side elements (a stray piece of spring onion? A dollop of unseasoned pumpkin puree?). At 9.55pm the lamb dish arrives, overdone, and possibly plated by the wait staff (think plain and unseasoned quinoa with 3 whole grape cherry tomatoes plopped on). At this point, the other couple has already left as the prolonged waiting had agitated them. The 2 young adults in the family have been on their phones and bored out of their minds while their parents pace every now and then. At approximately 10.10pm, the dessert comes out, all I see is a fruit granita, waitress explained there was cheesecake under this (supposed to be a whipped set custard with buttermilk foam and fruit granita). When I ask where the custard is, she sheepishly says they've run out of custard. At this point, we are done and ready to leave. The profusely apologetic FOH waitress tried to appease us by offering to take the additional side of roast potatoes and our one drink, a ginger beer along with 25% off the total bill. This is a joke to me as not only have we been served substandard food all evening but their mismanagement of the service has robbed us of the opportunity to spend the evening elsewhere. Their utter disrespect of our time, knowing we were there to celebrate a special occasion, was the real frustration - if your kitchen is not capable of providing a proper dinner service, why is your management not stepping in to close down for the evening and communicate this to us, so we can make alternative plans? How dare you even try charge us for this joke of an experience? I ended up paying 50% reasoning that we had consumed 4 courses but upon reflection, I greatly regret this - we shouldn't have been charged a dime for this absolute crapper of a dinner service. I don't care if they otherwise provide a good service, your communication and management systems need a gigantic review and improvement to deserve the title of restaurant, let alone FINE DINING. A thorough disappointment on so many levels. To the restaurant: please, do yourselves a favour and spend time at other quality establishments in the area so you are aware of what the standard for acceptable food and service look like the rest of us.

Enchantingly wonderful. From the warm friendly attentive service, the absolutely delicious food (every mouthful delighting the palate) & the inviting and cosy ambiance we give 10/10. It was one of the highlights of our Blue Mountains getaway. Truly superb 👌 The chef and kitchen staff have to be up there with the best around the world!

Had an amazing experience here. A brilliant 10 course chefs tasting menu tweaked to suit our dietary requirements. Absolutely delicious. Lovely cocktails too - I highly recommend the Pins Eastside. Front of house Leon was a great host as was our server Misha (sorry if I have the spelling wrong). Hats off to the chef! A little gem hidden just outside of Katoomba town centre. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for a special night out.

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem 💎 my husband & I went there for our 18th Wedding Anniversary. The service was exceptional & their food was no different 🥰 We ordered the Chefs 10 course meal with pairing wine. Each wine matched each course so beautifully bringing out all the flavours in each course & enhancing the taste. It has such a lovely cozy feel to the restaurant. I absolutely loved the music choices as well, it was such a great place & so very happy I stumbled across such a beautiful hidden gem😍 we will definitely go back their again & would recommend it to anyone in the area🤩

Highly recommended! We got the 10 course degustation with matching wines. The food was delicious and the wine was well considered. Really excellent service was the cherry on the cake. Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains - MGallery Collection

Hotel
Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains - MGallery Collection is an upscale resort nestled in the Blue Mountains, offering stunning mountain views and a range of amenities. The resort features three restaurants, including a fine dining option and casual Italian fare. Guests can relax at the on-site spa or take a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools. Additionally, there are plenty of activities available such as horse riding, ice skating, and a dedicated kids zone.
Located few kilometres away from Leura make a vehicle a must if you want to experience the beautiful Blue Mountains. The Resort is lovely and sprawls over several acres with lovely views over the Jamieson Valley and bushland. Rooms are well appointed and beds comfortable, although some features are beginning to show their age a little. Staff are axcellent and very friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Embers, is very good with plenty of variety in their menu and a magnificent view through roof high windows. Breakfast is a real treat with great choices. Overall an excellent stay and highly recommended.

We stayed for six nights and really enjoyed the excellent breakfast and warm welcome from the team. The hotel is very family-friendly, with lots of young children around, making it ideal for families. However, housekeeping could be more consistent — we had to follow up several times before our requests were attended to, and bedsheets were only changed after raising the issue. I even gave a cleaner a $20 tip hoping for better service, but unfortunately, the attention to detail didn’t improve. Overall, great hospitality and breakfast, but room service standards need improvement.

Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains – A Decent Stay but Not Quite the Fairmont Standard I Remember We stayed at Fairmont Blue Mountains last October 13–14, booking the same day after a long hike too tired to drive back to Sydney. We checked in around 3 pm. We chose Fairmont because of the brand’s reputation and my familiarity with it — I used to work for Fairmont San Jose back in 2018, and We have stayed in other Fairmont properties across the U.S., so we know the quality that comes with the name. Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because of some great customer service. The front desk team were polite and accommodating, and I really want to highlight the Filipino staff in the buffet station—very friendly and warm, which added a nice personal touch to our experience. However, a few details fell short of the Fairmont standard we expected. We requested a room with a nice view (as it was our first time in the Blue Mountains), but unfortunately, the view wasn’t quite what we hoped for. The room itself was fine, but lacking in small comforts — no slippers, toothbrush, or laundry bags; no minibar items to purchase; and no bin liners, which felt a bit unsanitary. It also wasn’t clear which towel was meant as a foot rug. At the breakfast buffet, the service was again great, but the food quality and variety could be improved. The beef sausage didn’t taste quite right, and the omelette was overly milky more like custard than eggs. I don’t mind paying a higher price for breakfast (even $38 or more), but it would be nice to see more variety and consistent quality in the food offerings for a 4-star property. All in all, Fairmont Blue Mountains delivered solid hospitality and warm service, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the finer details to live up to the Fairmont name I’ve known and trusted.

This property remains one of the most child-friendly hotels in Sydney, offering an experience that feels almost like a cruise ship on land. The range of facilities is outstanding—cinema, pool, kids’ activities, play centre, tennis and basketball courts, stables, gym, sauna, golf course, and even slides and inflatables for children. It’s a true family playground. On arrival, however, our room was missing basic amenities such as towels, and the body wash and shampoo bottles were empty. While this may be due to the busy school holiday period, it was a noticeable lapse in preparation. The service from staff was a highlight. The lady at the breakfast reception on 7 October 2025 at 10am, originally from Indonesia, was exceptionally warm and welcoming. I regret not asking her name. Additionally, Karen, the manager at Embers, deserves recognition for her professionalism and attentiveness. Breakfast quality has declined compared to my last visit in 2021. While the Diamond/Platinum area makes it easier to find a table during peak times, the food itself was underwhelming. That said, the complimentary minibar was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Overall, this hotel continues to impress with its extraordinary range of family-oriented facilities and dedicated staff, though improvements in room readiness and breakfast quality would elevate the experience further. Also thank you for the duck stuff toys for my kids.

Overall Impression: The staff members at the front desk always tried to smile and do their best to provide sincere service, and I truly appreciated that. However, I still strongly felt the need for renovation throughout the property. Considering that this hotel is part of a global tourism brand and carries the Fairmont name—one of the highest tiers within the ALL Accor group—I believe it is essential to have facilities like an executive lounge, as well as differentiated services for loyal premium-tier guests. By doing so, the hotel could minimize direct contact between different guest segments and prevent uncomfortable situations before they happen. This property is not just for local visitors; even locals come here for special occasions or parties. Therefore, if the hotel wants to maintain a luxury image, it must provide higher-level service specifically tailored to international guests and premium-tier loyal customers. This issue was not limited to the Blue Mountains property. During the four days of our trip, we stayed at several hotels in Australia, and in every case, the VIP service was noticeably weaker than the service offered by the same hotel brands in other countries. I believe hotel brands operating in Australia need to seriously reflect on this. I’m still not entirely sure whether the difference in service was due to outdated racial attitudes—because my family is East Asian—or because the hotel failed to prepare properly by understanding guest profiles in advance. Either way, I think there needs to be a fundamental rethink of how guests are approached and treated. If it weren’t for the scenery, the natural environment, and the fresh air—which are undeniably valuable assets in the property business—I would have rated this stay as a 1 out of 5. However, the landscape and surrounding content are truly beautiful, and because of that I would give the overall experience around 3.5 points.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the hotel staff, especially Sim at the front desk. I had misplaced my sunglasses and thought I might have left them somewhere outside the hotel. Even so, Sim was very dedicated and helped me check around the hotel and contact other departments to assist in finding them. In the end, I found the sunglasses outside by myself, but I truly appreciate Sim’s helpful attitude and genuine care. Her thoughtfulness left a wonderful impression on my stay. Thank you to the hotel for having such attentive and caring staff! I also really appreciate how flexible the staff were when helping me change my room. I accidentally booked a room without a bathtub, and the front desk kindly helped me switch to one with a bathtub for just $10 extra per night — very reasonable and smooth! The only small disappointment was that I requested room slippers (thongs) when I first checked in, but they were never delivered during my stay. Other than that, everything was great and I truly appreciate the helpful service, especially from Sim at the front desk. 🌟

Just got back from a weekend stay with a group of 10, including 5 kids aged 2-9. Pros: Rooms were clean. Service everywhere was fantastic- friendly and efficient. The resort caters exceptionally well for kids with a range of pools, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, arcade games, ice skating, slide and train ride (didn't do either of these). Location is fabulous, close proximity to Leura and Katoomba. Cons: Very dated everywhere and in desperate need of a refurbishment. Cracks in the paint, decor and furniture all very old. Food was disappointing and expensive. Bistro was great, but the Italian restaurant was a let down. Paid $39 for a prawn pasta with a few unpeeled prawns and the pasta was underseasoned and just tasted bland. Breakfast buffet was also of poor quality and variety- think powdery slushy scrambled eggs and unseasoned tomatoes and mushrooms. Very limited variety and you could get a better tasting breakfast at Maccas.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains with two rooms, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The resort setting is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for families. We loved the pool, arcade, and pool table, and the staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The dining options were impressive: Embers Grill had fantastic dishes and service, Azzure offered a great casual vibe, and the wood-fired pizza was simply excellent — crisp, smoky, and full of flavour. Breakfast was good but could use a bit more variety. The Ubika Spa was next level — one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. We also picked up several iKOU products from their gift shop, which turned out to be perfect gifts and reminders of a great trip. Everything about the stay — from the rooms to the hospitality — was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back. — Gurinder Singh

Blackheath Bar & Bistro is located in a former hardware store with stylish interiors and a focus on locally sourced seasonal produce. The venue offers a large range of craft beers and ciders, along with live music through the Gigs on Govetts program. It has a contemporary drinks menu featuring a wide range of wines and beers, as well as diverse food options from around the world, such as southern fried chicken and sushi.
We loved it! The drinks were perfect, live music great! We ordered the sweet potatoes chips sides as a starter and the portion was huge and price way perfect. We ended up sharing the chips and two pints and were full. The sweet potatoes chips were crispy and we'll seasoned, best sweet potatoes chips we've ever had. The hostess, the bartender, the waiter, everyone we came across was really nice and welcoming. We booked another dinner for tomorrow night on our way out. We just really enjoyed our evening. Thank you!

Very generous portions of food offset a little by the quality. Partners chicken was gristly is parts and the calamari I was not sure of. Great sweet potato fries. Indoor and outdoor seating with a stage for music. We were treated to some local muso’s on the night we were there. Kudos to BB&B for providing the space for that.

Another disappointing stop on my Blackheath food tour. Shockingly, it seemed this place was the only option if you aren’t looking for fine dining but also aren’t keen to eat fast food. I guess no competition provides no reason not to be entirely mediocre. The food was SO overpriced for what it was. We got three of the “bar food” side dishes to share at $15 each. They were each small and mildly to extremely disappointing. The one saving grace was my coffee porter, but I guess all they are responsible for there was choosing a good beer to have on tap. If I ever come to Blackheath again, I will pay for a nicer AirBnb with a kitchen just so I don’t have to eat at any of these restaurants again.

Great bar with good food, friendly wait staff. We ordered the fried chicken and it was the winner for us. Absolutely loved it. The dumplings were also quite nice!!

TL; DR: Good stuff, might feel slightly overpriced On a public holiday weekend we left it too late to book any of our usual places, so went to check out a local instead. We get out so rarely because of the kids that the going out is more important than the place - so it was nice to be pleasantly surprised! The good: excellent atmosphere! We weren't expecting live music, but there it was. The decor is lovely, my wife really appreciated the local art on the wall. Service was friendly and prompt. The food! Seriously delicious. We ordered prawn dumplings and an antipasto plate. The antipasto was ok (although the bread was a little overcooked), but the dumplings were superb. A couple of cocktails each to round out the night. The bad: the prices are right at the upper end of what you'd expect to pay for that kind of place - it's a strange mix of bar and restaurant. It's kind of more bar than restaurant, but prices are closer to lower end restaurant ($15 entree, $20 cocktails, $20+ burgers, $25+ other mains). It wasn't outrageous enough to put any sort of damper on the evening, but felt slightly confused - are you a bar or are you a restaurant? Overall, we'll be back.

Stunning location, excellent food and service, you couldn’t ask for more. My beloved had the apple pie and gave it 2 thumbs up. We had the scones, nice and light and the perfect size. 🌿 A Peaceful Slice of Heaven! 🌿 Megalong Valley Tea Rooms is pure magic. Tucked away in a serene corner of the Blue Mountains, it feels like stepping into another world — quiet, lush, and beautifully removed from the chaos of everyday life. The drive through the valley is breathtaking, and once you arrive, it’s all charm and calm. The garden setting is stunning, with birdsong and mountain views all around. The food is simple, fresh, and lovingly prepared — the kind that makes you slow down and truly savour each bite . The scones? Cloud-like. The tea? Poured by angels. The views? Peaceful, charming, and it feels like time forgot it in the best possible way. Go for the food, stay for the serenity, and leave already plotting your return. Nature & Parks
Campbell Rhododendron Gardens, located in Bacchante Street Blackheath NSW, is an 18.3-hectare area where exotic plants flourish amidst Australian native bushland. The gardens are best experienced from late-September to mid-November when the Rhododendrons and Azaleas are in full bloom, with beautiful autumn colors also on display. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks through winding paths, fern glades, and native flowers.
Absolutely stunning gardens! A peaceful escape with beautiful walking trails surrounded by vibrant rhododendrons and native bushland. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking to relax and unwind. The seasonal colors are breathtaking, especially in spring. There’s plenty of birdlife and shaded areas to sit and enjoy a picnic. Well-maintained and free to enter, though donations are appreciated. A true hidden gem in the Blue Mountains—highly recommended!

A must-visit, especially during the blooming season. It’s a quiet and beautiful place, perfect for a peaceful walk. There’s a café with a stunning view of the garden where you can enjoy delicious drinks and have a lovely chat with friends. The variety of flowering shrubs and trees creates unforgettable impressions.

An interesting and unique garden with exotics planted amongst the existing native eucalyptus trees and shrubs over 18 hectares. It is on uneven terraced terrain with ponds, lake, garden bridges, and lots of rhododendron, azaleas and others. Plenty of walking tracks with native birds and small animals. Facilities include toilets, picnic benches and shelters, parking. While free to enter, donations are invited for maintenance which is done by a local society. Very popular especially in spring when there are plenty of blooms. Lots of tourists and locals in spring. Fair bit of walking on uneven terrain around under shade mainly. You can spend several hours here depending on your interests. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Parking is easy during off peak times. There's a great cafe with lovely menu on offer.

We visited the garden today with a big family and had a great experience. The entry fee was $5 per person, and kids entered for free. It was definitely worth visiting—whether you live around Katoomba or are stopping by after exploring the Blue Mountains. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon, but the atmosphere was lovely. The flowers were in full bloom, and the vibrant colours of the rhododendrons were simply amazing to see. The small lake and plenty of seating areas were a nice bonus, making it a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. The only downside was that the bins in the toilets were full, the floor was quite wet, and there was a strong odour in the men’s toilet—perhaps because it was close to closing time. Still, that’s something that could easily be improved.

The vibrant colors of the rhododendrons created a breathtaking panorama before my eyes. Each blossom seemed to radiate a unique hue, from deep crimson to soft pastel shades. Wandering through the garden paths, the sweet fragrance of the flowers filled the air, making the experience more memorable. It was truly a delightful visit. I would recommend this garden to anyone looking for a moment of peace and natural beauty.
Sobit S — Google review
When I visited in the last week of October, there weren’t many flowers in bloom — it seemed like the second week would’ve been the perfect time to see them in full bloom. However, it was still wonderful to take a walk while listening to the birds singing, just like in a fairy tale. The $5 donation was very reasonable, and the café was lovely — the scones were great, and it was the perfect place to enjoy a nice tea time.

Amazing garden with great views - it's a full sensory experience. See the incredible blooms as their fragrance hits your nostrils while the gentle wind brushes over your face as you hear a lyre bird in the bush. Oh, and I did some of this while stuffing my face with a homemade lemon cake and a cuppa - the volunteers run a tea shop complete with a verandah overlooking the garden. AMAZING.

Hanging Rock

Hanging Rock is a less known but worthwhile destination in the Blue Mountains. The trail offers sweeping views of the Grose Wilderness and leads through heathland and open forest to a dramatic rocky bluff. Accessible via dirt roads and hiking, it's about 7 km from Blackheath. The hike to Hanging Rock is considered one of the best in the area, offering magnificent rock formations and deep valleys.
I've been there three times now, every time on my mountain bike. It's very conducive to that mode of transport and so much easier than walking. When you arrive you first go to Baltzer Lookout which has expansive views over the Grose Valley but, the real view is off to the left and down towards Hanging Rock itself. Ideally shot in the dawn hours, it's still spectacular any time (well, except in a thunderstorm!) and is arguably the most scenic outcrop in all the Blue Mountains.

Amazing views at the end makes the long flat walk (which can be boring) getting there worth it! Took us just over 3hrs to complete the whole walk, return. Why not try cycling- Small jump to get onto the rock (just do it!)

This place is great The hike towards hanging rock is a little uneventful, but the views are amazing. If you're brave enough to take the leap, being on the rock is amazing 👏 No bathrooms, and not covered at all, so bring a hat for shade.
Monica M — Google review
This hike is very easy with most parts being quite flat. Only at the very end is there a 200-300m steep hike through rocks. The views are breathtaking if you have the courage to go stand on the edge in windy conditions!
Narayan M — Google review
Stunning x2. You get lulled by the peaceful and monotonous trek on Burramoko Fire Road until you get the views. Wow! It's breathtaking. To get to the hanging rock you'll have to take a leap of faith, not for the faint of heart or those who fear heights. It was well worth the hike! A gem in the Blue Mountains.
Jerome B — Google review
It's about 2.5-3 hours return. I went very early and had the trail to myself on a weekday but can see this place get busy on weekends. Car park was getting busy on the way out. Very cool rock formation great to see from a distance it's a bit of a scramble to get closer to the rock. The gap is larger than it seems but doable however I didn't dare cross.

The Blackheath Memorial Park is a nostalgic and popular destination for families, offering multiple play areas where children can frolic and expend their energy. Adjacent to a small lake, swings provide additional entertainment options. The park features vast open spaces ideal for picnics, with picnic benches and some covered areas available, including one equipped with a barbecue. Restrooms are conveniently located on-site. However, the park lacks accessibility for those using wheelchairs or prams.
Rhododendrons are in flower so beautiful, pools shut.

Excellent bathroom amenities and great kids equipment like water play (bring swimmers) and playground. It could do with some shade over the playground as the equipment gets quite hot in the sun. Otherwise it’s lovely and fun to be here!
Katherine B — Google review
This park embodies old skool cool. The kids absolutely love running between the three play areas- it really wears them out ☺️ There are also a set of swings by the small lake. There are large open spaces for picnics, picnic benches, and few covered picnic areas, one which has a BBQ. Toilets available. The park is next to Blackheath pool which was empty- unsure if they are remodeling or it's closed. Not wheelchair or pram friendly.
Leah R — Google review
Nice park with beautiful trees but not very well maintained. It needs lot of landscaping or at the very least proper footpaths. Not sure why they built disjointed playgrounds but at least they did something nice. The children's playground is great. There are a few sections with the old playground the new playground with wired sculpture that kids can climb on. And the new playground has a rocket with a slide as well and monkey Bars. The pool is at the end of the park and looks just wonderful. There are a few benches to sit on and tables in the shade for lunch. This makes a nice walk and if you have kids or dogs a well worth visit. But please upgrade it so everyone can enjoy it - e.g pensioners
Sara P — Google review
This park has everything! Three different play areas for all ages, picnic tables and a shelter, toilets, a duck pond, the pool, and let’s not forget the rocket. Seasonal colour in the Rhododendrons and autumn leaves too as a bonus.

This is a hidden gem! My kids are begging for returning to this park! We were even lucky to see some ducks, which were very interested in our rice crackers😁

A very nice park in a picture perfect location... must visit one Autumn to see the beautiful rust n yellow colored trees looking the streets! You'll love the place especially if you are a photo fanatic like me! There's a very nice play area with colorful n good play equipment. there was a pond at the end of the park with ducks swimming n waddling around... Hours of fun for the entire family.

We've been visiting this amazing Antique & Collectibles Store for almost two decades. It's quite a marvel just to see the scope of what they have on offer. There's an amazing range of Antiques, vintage toys and rare collectibles on display - including ancient coins, period clothing, retro furniture, fine artwork, modern and vintage jewellery, fossils, glassware and every manner of classic and historical antiques. There's two floors of display cabinets that occupy the old Victory Theatre building and for those seeking Breakfast, Lunch or Brunch, there's also the Victory Theatre Cafe which is located at the entrance - which is also popular with the locals. Highly Recommended when visiting the Blue Mountains. NEARBY: On the side of the building is Collier's Arcade featuring the Collier's Crystals gem & crystal store - and if you follow the main street for 5 minutes, you'll end up at the breathtaking Govetts Leap Lookout.

Great antique shop, cafe not so much. The French toast was so eggy and soggy and cold. The banana bread was good.

Very unique. U have to walk through the cafe to get this wear house. So many antiques plus just old stuff with high price. It was fun browsing.

I was on my way to Blue Mountain and Blackhealth is obvious the interesting stop. This shop is not far away from the station. We had lovely lunch and coffee before totally getting lost in this Antique. The shop has a rich history due to its location. You can find almost every single little things on Earth. The price range is very varied as it depends on the age and condition of the goods. I found myself an interesting German cup. They have so many different models and sizes. I went w the small one as I have to be weight-wise w the luggage. Overall I love the experience and defo will come back.
Hoa P — Google review
For someone who wants anything or everything you'll almost certainly find it here. It's still the best antique store in the mountains. It was great showing my kids things of old and what they were used for. Keep an eye out as there are hidden treasures everywhere. I never have enough time to see everything but I doubt anyone would as there is so much to look at . You'd need at least a full day to view it all at a leisurely pace (without the kids lol) in order to really look at all that is there. I never tire of looking

Amazing staff, great coffee but the food really let it down. Bacon and sausage was over cooked. Apologies to the Victory Cafe that I accidentally left a review for instead.

We came for breakfast and thoroughly enjoy our meals. They have a good range of sweet and savoury options, as well as a number healthy choices. Coffee was great and it was lovely to drink it sitting outside in the sun. The food was delicious, I would have loved a bit of a larger portion! The staff were very nice and the service was efficient and professional.

If you're looking for a scenic drive in the Blue Mountains, Blackheath lookout is worth a visit. The lookout offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including Paragliding Mt Blackheath and the Shipley River.
Best spot for a sunset! Road can get a bit bumpy close to the top with lots of holes in the road - FWD needed!

Car park is close by, about a minute or two walk. Wheelchair friendly to the lookout. There's a camp fire and picnic table. Views are lovely and would be amazing at sunset. Lovely drive out to the lookout.

We went here to enjoy a quiet meal together. The views are beautiful and very relaxing. Not many people visited on the day we were there. Great for photography or just sitting and relaxing. Bring all your food etc with you as there is no kiosk. Take your rubbish out with you and don't trash the area with your rubbish please.

A truly majestic spot that rewards you with stunning views and a sense of complete tranquillity. The final 2–3 km stretch is unsealed but well-maintained, easily navigable even in a standard hatchback. At the lookout, there’s a basic unisex toilet (septic tank). It’s a peaceful, uncrowded destination—perfect for those looking to disconnect and soak in nature. Well worth the drive.

Good spot for star viewing but don’t expect a good sunrise view(blocked by bush) But it was surprising me when I woke up in the morning I was in a misty valley. Public toilet available.

It was a very picture-perfect lookout and I loved my time having a quite moment. It is truly a treat for the eyes. One thing is that I discovered that there is a ramp that takes you to the edge of the lookout - it's probably a paragliding take-off point.

Minnehaha Falls is a stunning natural attraction located in the mountains of North Katoomba. The falls feature towering sandstone cliffs that line the emerald waters cascading down Yosemite Creek, creating a breathtaking sight. Accessible via a 1.5 km track with some rough patches and steep sections, the journey promises to be rewarding for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy an invigorating dip under the gentle cascade and relax in the cool mountain pool during summer.

The 53-foot waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, walking trails, and scenic spots perfect for photography or simply relaxing. It’s easily accessible and family-friendly, making it a great destination for a weekend outing. Whether you’re there for a peaceful walk, a picnic, or just to enjoy the sound of cascading water, Minnehaha Falls offers a lovely escape into nature. Highly recommended for nature lovers and casual explorers alike!

Minnehaha Falls is an absolute hidden gem in the Blue Mountains! The hike is moderately challenging — you’ll walk through light bushland, cross small streams, and climb down some steep man-made steps. It’s not too long, but definitely gets the heart pumping. As you get closer, the sound of the waterfall builds and adds to the excitement. The falls themselves are stunning — peaceful, powerful, and perfect for a quick dip if you’re brave (the water is chilly, even in summer!). Well worth the adventure!
Vinewood K — Google review
Another beautiful gem in Blue Mountains. One of the easiest or shortest trek I have done so far. Just 1.5 km one way. Grade: Medium I saw some families trekking this walk with their toddlers as well. Parking available, easy to locate. Waterfalls itself was very serene. For adventurous people, there are few spots when you can dive from a height straight into the pool which is at the base of the waterfalls.
Darshan M — Google review
Minnehaha Falls offers an easy, short trail with fantastic views, especially of the falls. Be prepared for very muddy conditions underfoot. The water is extremely cold but wonderfully refreshing for a dip. A highly recommended short walk.

Beautiful spot and a fairly easy walk down, but harder coming back up. You can swim down there in a small pool, won't get many strokes in though, it's small but beautiful

Cafe
Victory Cafe is a charming spot located in the heart of Blackheath, housed within the historic Victory Theatre. The cafe offers a delightful dining experience with its seasonal brunch dishes served in a relaxed atmosphere. The high ceilings and street tables add to the appeal of this 1915 space. Additionally, Victory Cafe perfectly complements the vibrant local scene by being situated inside the largest antiques store west of Sydney, featuring over 50 dealers.
If you decide to visit Blue Mountain, make sure you do not miss Blackhealth. It was just a couple of stations. The area is quiet and chilling. I discovered this cafe on my way walking around town. By the time it hits lunch time, this cafe is gonna pack with people so you better hurry. They serve breakfast menu all day long so I can freely have “a big breakfast” at 2PM. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they would have photos of the food so it’s easier to imagine how much food you gonna get in one plate. Overall the food was nice. I enjoyed both coffee and food.
Hoa P — Google review
A great spot for Breakfast, Lunch or Brunch - or even a hot drink on a cold morning. The staff have been incredibly helpful and polite on each and every visit and the food has always been a drawcard with locals. We sometimes stop by the Victory Cafe when pondering a purchase at either the Antique Store or the nearby Collier's Crystals store. PROS: * Great, flavorsome food. * Polite and helpful staff. * Nearby bathrooms, both outside & inside. * An all-day Breakfast & Lunch Menu (from memory). * Acceptably priced menu items. CONS: * The odd rickety table. OTHER: * The potato fries, which are a part of several of the dishes (see pics) - have been literally inedible on several occasions. Locals have also noted the same. (I've worked in hospitality and this one is still a mystery to us). **Perhaps this issue has since been resolved?

I ordered the chickpea pancakes - I’d had them three weeks previously and really enjoyed them, they were thick and it was filling. But today there was just one pancake and it was very thin with lots of gaps and holes, almost like they were running out of batter and trying to make it stretch. It was tasty but a very different and less substantial dish than before and I’d expect more for $24. When I asked a member of staff about the inconsistency he just said different chefs do things differently and was quite dismissive, then proceeded to slap a 10 per cent surcharge on the bill even though it was obvious I wasn’t happy. It’s a shame as it was a great experience before!
Riah M — Google review
Yummy food and vibrant atmosphere. Service was quick but not too many vegetarian options. They do not customise to serve vegetarian recipes.
Shweta A — Google review
Friendly staff and a lovely warm atmosphere. Service was fast and food & coffee delicious. Love the sustainable choice of having jars of sugar on the table instead of the little packets that are given at most cafes. Music classics from the 70s/80s playing in the background made a great vibe. Excited to come again!
Gabby T — Google review
Our family enjoyed our lunch here good coffee, very friendly staff, and food was great. You can also browse through the antiques. Easy parking nearby.

Service is lacking now. Used to be a great cafe with a greater food selection for lunch with more reasonable prices. My order didn't come which was annoying as my other friends received theirs. Waitress didn't notice and my replacement order took ages. Coffee was OK after reminding!
Carole W — Google review
This place has so much potential! Unfortunately, the floor team, would just walk away when we presented a problem. I would fire these guys. We were refused extra’s on our already expensive $60+ and small dishes with burnt toast and tinned mushrooms. It’s not our fault you are short staffed. Happy to wait the extra time for the extras… Who doesn’t do a matcha latte these days? Make sure to hunt around on google for better cafes. Better ones around the corner. Still hungry….

Open 4 days per week, this place is an intimate restaurant sharing home made wines and fresh food. Go with the Feed Me that way you taste everything. A must! We're told by Tom that they're rotating chefs adding to variety to their menu. Book in advance, seating is limited. The wine tasting is a nice touch. We'll be back

OMG WOW 🤩 We had dinner here Saturday night for our 28th anniversary and the food was delicious and the service by the young canadian girl was very warm and welcoming. The olives to start were tasty and the iceberg Caesar salad was crunchy and the dressing was not overpowering like the ones at other places . We also had the gnocchi and the beef brisket as well and to finish we had the ginger cake . All dishes were wine matched perfectly from the lovely girl serving us. We had a great time here and EM the chef is very talented and works amazing in that little kitchen ❤️.

The Gardners Inn Hotel is a cozy and relaxed establishment that offers comfortable rooms, a restaurant, four bar areas, a beer garden, and a deck. Despite facing an unforeseen double booking issue from bookings.com, the manager swiftly resolved the problem by providing an alternative solution. The staff's exceptional customer service went above and beyond in ensuring guest satisfaction. The inn's convenient location, friendly atmosphere, efficient holiday staff, and high-quality food presented in satisfying portions made for an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Stopped here for lunch after doing some hiking with our dog. The big back deck was undercover so we could sit, have a meal and a couple of drinks with our puppy. The food was great, the beer selection was excellent (anywhere with Reschs on tap is great in my opinion). Great spot for a meal.

Beef & Guinness Pot Pie & a pint of real Guinness Stout was my meal fare for tonight in true Country Pub fashion. Really tasty on a brisk night in Blackheath.

This is our Go-To for a train day-trip to the Blue Mountains in winter. On arrival we were invited by some locals to share the gas-fuelled fireplace. We gratefully accepted. There's plenty of seating & two fireplaces to warm up near in the main bar. We chose Beef Pot Pies for our lunch @ $26 ea (& large servings 👍) The railway station is only 250m from the Inn door & there's an inviting waiting room at the station.

Dropped in for lunch on way through Blackheath. Great menu lots to choose from. Reasonably priced, lot on the plate. Quick service, friendly staff. Clean amenities. Not too noisey. Log fire appreciated on cooler day.
GPG — Google review
As plentiful as the plates were, unfortunately the food was luke warm, even the lamb cutlet’s fat had started to solidify and was cut as white, and the steak at $45 was way over cooked for a medium choice 👎 Blackheath doesn’t have many eat-in choices for dinner, however we’ll not eat here again
Vintage * — Google review
The food was overpriced, stingy, and bland. staff, including the manager were rude. Would not recommend eating here.
Gene A — Google review
Went here for lunch, wasn’t the best thing I’ve tried in a while. Admittedly the Guinness pot pie tasted great 👌🏼 the vegetables were not cooked and the potato seemed like it was instant mash and looked unappealing. For what we got and the time we waited to receive the meal when it was literally dead, 0 people seemed a bit comedic. I don’t believe the prices reflected the quality of the food.

One of the best dinners we’ve had in a very long time. This restaurant is fabulous serving a variety of meals from Asia, Europe and Australia. The ambience is artistically colourful and relaxing. Very enjoyable, great value and service and the food quality was awesome. Check out the pictures attached.

The food is cooked perfectly and the servings are quite generous. I ordered the salmon medium rare and was very satisfied. The potatoes were nicely cooked and seasoned although the salad was a tad small. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with Asian themes and felt very cosy and relaxed. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.

Hidden Gem! We've been to Leura hundreds of times, but only discovered Madam Wang's after a google search for "great places to eat in Leura"! A very quirky, intimate little venue for lunch or dinner with fantastic food and service. Variations to the menu were requested and provided in a friendly and professional manner - not that there's much you would change (I just wanted a low carb option to my salmon meal). We had a couple of shared entrees (Salt n Pepper Squid & Spring Rolls), mains (2x Salmon, Satay Chicken and Duck) and desserts ("You only live twice" Lime Cheesecake, Chistmas Pudding in brandy sauce (yes!), Strawberry Caramel Tart and the Strawberry Summer Palace - all mouthwatering! Four very happy people!

It was such a wonderful experience that we’ve had. The atmosphere was so friendly and cozy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Incredible! I’ve been wanting to visit for some years, and finally did so last night. The team at Madame Wang’s easily surpassed my high expectations - all food was delicious, outstanding. In particular I was not expecting to find one of the best Schnitzel dishes I’ve had anywhere - amazing. The team were also accommodating with our 2 year old, who helped us finish our meals. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was special. I am looking forward to revisiting and bringing friends and family.

Accessible via an 8km dirt road suitable for any car, this hidden gem provides breathtaking 360-degree views of the Grose Valley and Mount Banks. The lookout's namesake comes from its rock formation resembling a blacksmith's anvil. A short 10-minute walk leads to panoramic vistas, making it a perfect retreat away from crowds.
Great views - we went just before sunset with the late afternoon sun giving a very different look to the cliffs.

I was going to see the Wind Eroded Caves Lookout and also took in this lookout too. A short dirt road to get to the car park. It says on the sign it’s a 5 minute walk to get to Anvil Rock Lookout. It is a bit quicker than that but it was longer for me on the way back as there were so many viewing opportunities along the track out. Well worth visiting and it has amazing views.

Wonderful spot with 360 views. Went on a weekday and had the lookout to ourselves for 15 minutes. The road is now fully paved so no issues for 2wd.

A short walk at the end of a gravel road, Anvil Rock provides a raised, 360° views of the Grose Valley. No matter what time of the day, this lookout is worth the trip. Plus, a 2 minute walk from the carpark is a beautifully eroded cave you can also view.

A must to do for nature lovers!!! Anvil Rock is a scenic lookout point in the Blackheath area, where you can enjoy incredible 360-degree Grose Valley views. Wind Eroded Cave Lookout is a remarkable natural formation where the wind has sculpted a tall cave with honeycomb walls, creating various holes. It's just a short walk from the car park and offers an easy hike to Anvil Rock as well. The area is suitable for visitors of all ages, including families with young children. The site provides stunning views, especially during sunset, and despite some rough patches on the dirt road leading to it, most vehicles can access the area.
We arrived during the Golden hour sunset. The soft glow of the sun made the sandstone cliffs glisten like gold. We were treated to a rainbow as well. Such a gift from mother nature.

This was one of our favourites! No parking fee or entry. The view was absolutely spectacular and when we went there were barely any other people. I highly recommend this as a must see when visiting! I even sat under the rock and felt beautiful grounding energy as I lay there.

Absolutely loved coming here, gorgeous views, great picture taking spots and good little walking tracks through the bush.

Wind Eroded Cave is such a unique and beautiful spot! The natural rock formations shaped by wind are truly fascinating, and the views of the valley from here are amazing. It’s an easy walk to reach, peaceful, and not too crowded – a perfect place to enjoy the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains. Definitely worth a stop!
Sakshi S — Google review
Beautiful spot, with a gentle summit (possible for all ages, I saw kids doing it too) up the rocky cliff face, you can get a great view. It is especially serene at sunset (see photos) and is appropriate for all ages. I saw many family's with young children. It is only a short 2 minute walk from the allocated dirt parking. That said, there is a mildly long dirt road with a few bumps but all cars can access it as long as they're not extremely low and aren't going too quick. Few blind corners but safe if you're alert!

A hidden gem!!! Wind Eroded Cave Lookout is only a 5 min easy walk from the carpark and offers you a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the nature. Suitable for all ages and does worth to visit at sunset.

Incredibly beautiful rocks, other than that, its all bushes but definitely worth a go! Just very short walk from carpark! The road in is all dirt road which can be abit scary with the sharp turns so just try to fight the urge to speed cause there can be close calls with incoming cars!

This is an awesome eroded cave and it really is amazing to see what nature has done to the rock face. An easy spot to get to. You can drive to the car park and the caves are less than a 5 minute walk to get to. The last few kilometres are a dirt road and if you take your time most cars can make the drive. Really nice natural feature.

If you're seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, look no further than the Vipassana Meditation Centre, also known as Dhamma Bhumi, located in Blackheath. This tranquil haven offers various meditation courses, with the 10-day silent retreat being particularly popular among attendees. Prepare for an immersive experience where you'll dedicate around 16 hours each day to deep meditation—definitely not your typical spa getaway!
Easily the best Vipassana meditation centre that I have been to. Beautiful nature, silence, the birds, butterflies and the meditation practice. I was there for the new years retreat last year and loved my time there. Many gratitude to the servers, the teachers and everyone that supported me during my time there! Going here was easily one of the best things that I did for myself last year.
Pawan R — Google review
"Finally completed my 10-day Vipassana course. This was my 3rd course after 15 years. My only advice to new students is: don’t lose hope if you don’t feel any sensations right away when the training begins. For some, it happens during the first course, for others it may take time. Personally, I truly experienced the sensations this time on my 3 rd course, after starting with a few days of Anapana practice and then moving into Vipassana. A few tips I would like to share for those attending: Once inside the Dhamma boundaries, keep your thoughts within the area—avoid thinking outside of it it will effect your focus. During tea breaks, don’t get lost in the beauty of the mountains. Admiring them may feel tempting, but it can distract your mind and make concentration harder. Eat moderately—just ½ or ¾ of a bowl depending on your appetite. Eating too little may make you weak and will make difficult to sleep properly , but eating too much will make meditation difficult and also makes volunteers to check on your bowl how much you are eating. Stay hydrated—start drinking plenty of water at least a month before the course. If possible, start practicing the lotus position a month or two before attending, gradually increasing your sitting time to at least an hour. Most important dont miss the morning Mangal metta chanting from 6-6:30am. Even if you meditate from your own room go to main hall or pagoda to listen. The true essence of Vipassana lies not in the number of courses completed nor in the role of being a teacher, but in the transformation of one’s heart. To live with compassion, free from ego, jealousy, and hatred, is the real fruit of the practice. Without embodying these qualities, the technique remains incomplete. Vipassana is a path meant to guide us toward inner peace and, through that, to contribute to a more harmonious world. Stay patient, stay steady, and the results will come.
Rigbendra S — Google review
Completing my first 10-day Vipassana meditation course was an unforgettable experience. While it certainly wasn't easy, the feelings of calmness, clarity, and self-awareness I've gained since are truly amazing. The course itself was an intense journey of self-observation. The practice of Vipassana, which translates to "seeing things as they really are," involved focusing on bodily sensations in a non-judgmental way. This deep dive into my own experience brought up a range of emotions, but the emphasis on mindfulness allowed me to observe them without getting swept away. The silence of the retreat was both challenging and rewarding. It forced me to confront my inner world and find peace within myself. The daily schedule, with its structured meditation sessions, provided a framework for this exploration, while the discourses offered valuable guidance and insights. Overall, the course was a powerful introduction to meditation and its potential to transform our lives. It's important to note that this is just the beginning, and continued practice is key to sustaining the benefits. I'm excited to see how Vipassana continues to shape my journey in the days, weeks, and months to come.

Life will give us different experiences and depending on our knowledge and feelings will make us feel in a certain way. What we do with those feelings and how we react to them is the only thing we can be in a control of. It has been very hard, the hardest thing I had to do in my life but it also made the biggest impact on me.It has never been that quite in my head ever and as an ex sever ADHD person I know exactly what is it like when you mind clings to everything you lay your eyes on.Endless racing thoughts and never ending chase of every excitement, having a mind that has its own race and focus is only a dream. Imagine a mind that is quiet and resting all the time,it just sits and waits for its turn. When it finally has its turn it creates, solves and delivers immense value because it wants to be needed and used. Imagine life when you don’t have to buy the next set of shoes, cloth, car, watch or any item just to give you pleasure.Imagine when you don’t react to an abuse, betrayal, anger or any other negativity and misery directed at you.Imagine when you become complete just the way you are, there is nothing more is required for your peace and harmony. I am lucky enough that I don’t have to imagine it anymore,I had a chance to experience it and feel it. It is up to you now if you want to keep imagining or you are brave enough to dive deep and experience it for yourself. Bhavatu sabba-maṅgalaṁ

Dhamma Bhumi Blackheath is my favourite place for 10-day retreats. Vipassana (or Insight) is one of the meditation techniques taught by Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha, in India. Vipassana meditation a serious undertaking. You need to prepare for it - both mentally and physically. If you approach it with reverence, and if you follow the strict rules, you should see the results. May all beings be happy. Metta.

Best experience and course of my life! After spending years trying to solve inner problems (grief, disappointment, frustration, anger) nothing has been able to help resolve this until... I decided to attend this 10-day Vipassana course as where you learn two powerful breathing techniques Anapana and Vipassana to help you get rid of negative weight and gain more love and compassion towards others. These techniques by the way are non religious and have been thought by Buddha himself over the last 2500 years. After 7 days already I felt tremendous lightness and relief. Waking up with a lot of joy and looking forward to the future again. Stunning location, great vegetarian food, simple but comfortable accomodation. Don't be afraid to join if you're completely new to meditation. The course is from 0430am till 0900pm each day but there are loads of timeslots allowing you recharge and pace yourself. Special thanks to our amazing teacher Erhard Rathmayr for guiding us and answering all questions. May you all be happy, Konstantin

Bridal Veil Falls, also known as Leura Falls, is a breathtaking waterfall located in Leura, within the Blue Mountains. The falls can be admired from various vantage points such as rugged trails and viewing platforms. The Bridal Veil Falls Circuit is a popular 4 km walking track that meanders through a lush rainforest landscape, showcasing waterfalls, creeks, and towering cliff walls.
These falls offer an amazing site when water is flowing. Even with smaller flows the walk around Leura cascades and down to these falls is spectacular. The walk is not an easy walk so consider it carefully with steep sections and slippery uneven trails.

I recently visited the Blue Mountains and it was truly a highlight of my trip! The scenery is simply stunning, with towering sandstone cliffs, lush forests, and breathtaking views from every angle. We hiked the Three Sisters track and it was an exhilarating experience, with steep climbs and stunning vistas. The villages along the way, like Leura and Katoomba, are charming and full of character, with plenty of cafes, shops, and galleries to explore. The views from Echo Point and Govetts Leap Lookout are not to be missed! And if you're feeling adventurous, take a scenic drive along the winding roads and enjoy the views from various lookout points. Overall, the Blue Mountains are a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Sydney. Whether you're a nature lover, photographer, or just looking for a day trip from the city, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommended! *Tips:* - Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring plenty of water and snacks. - Be prepared for changing weather conditions and potential crowds on popular trails. - Take your time and enjoy the views – it's worth it!

An easy short walk to a great view. There are a fair few steps, but the total distance to the lookout is not more than 20 minutes one-way. Quicker if you don’t have little kids. The look put has a great view of the valley, and a good side view of the falls. Unfortunately the track to the bottom of the falls was blocked for maintenance. Lots of parking at Govet’s lookout.

Great little walk to the falls and back. Lots of stairs so if you don't like stairs maybe avoid this one and only go to the lookout!!

The tranquil ambiance, soothing sound of flowing water, and vibrant greenery make it an ideal spot for picnics or simply unwinding in nature’s embrace. Logan Brae Orchards, a charming family-run orchard on the Shipley Plateau, has been a beloved destination for over 100 years. Nestled just 5 minutes from Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, this rustic orchard offers an authentic experience with its delicious apple pies, fresh boxes of apples, and invigorating apple juice. The picturesque setting provides ample space to relax and savor the serene atmosphere while indulging in their renowned hot apple juice.
If you go to the Blue Mountains you absolutely must go here! Apples are crisp and delicious unlike any store bought apples you have ever had. Definitely recommend buying a box of apples because you will eat them all. The pies showcase the apples and are perfectly cooked with a slight crunch to the apple to make it ever more enjoyable, I recommend having them with the hot spiced apple juice. Been coming here for years, always the same friendly service and great taste!!!

Our friends took us to this apple farm and it was such a beautiful experience. We ordered the warm apple juice and apple pie and discovered the back yard with an amazing view! Even if you’re not into apples you should check this place out. The apple juice was too sweet for me, but I loved the warm apple pie. We also bought the apple butter and apple jelly. Both are very tasty.

A lovely little side-trip for a weekend visit to the Blue Mountains! Despite the rain and cold on the day we visited, we enjoyed hot apple juice to warm our bodies and a delicious, authentic apple pie. The view was lovely and my boyfriend bought some of the unique apple butter to bring back as a present! Was a bit of a trek out without a car - would recommend taking a taxi if you can’t drive - but was worth a visit.

Love this place. Great to come back again . No trip to the Blue Mountains is complete without a visit to Logan Brae orchards. The hot apple pies are to die for!!!

This orchard is definitely a must go if you’re in the Blue Mountains region. They have the most delicious apple pies (yes, better than the McDonalds ones) and the hot spiced apple drink is just like drinking a liquid apple pie - a must have as well. Down the hill, there are some really nice views and, across the accessible areas of the orchard, good photo opportunities. However, I will say that I was expecting to have some available apple picking (which is not allowed at any time of the year) or a historical tour. Furthermore, the prices for their apple products are rather expensive, even in spite of the good quality. I would recommend to them that they open small accommodation as it would be a desirable place for people to stay!

Logan Brae is a lovely apple orchard to visit if you're in the Blue mountains or looking for a day trip out of Sydney. Their hot apple juice is a must have, it's sweet and spiced, and is very satisfying after a long ride. Their apple pies were good as well though it would be nice if the crust were a little firmer - still a unique pie to try! There's lots of space to sit and take in the scenery and calm atmosphere while you eat

Additionally, the stables offer horseback rides through open paddocks, natural bushland, and mountainside trails with fantastic views of the Blue Mountains escarpments.
This was so lovely. We booked a sunset ride, Jim the owner so kindly changed the booking to a better weather day for us. The ride was lovely, my horse Ace was very cheeky ha ha lovely ride and beautiful location. Bit of a drive down to the stables but it's a stunning location and totally worth it.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I took my daughter here yesterday for her 7th birthday to have a 30 minute lead pony ride with my 9 year old son. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the horses looked well loved and the setting was gorgeous! My husband and I were able to walk alongside the kids whilst they were led by lovely ladies with plenty of photo opportunities. The volunteers who were working there also seemed thrilled with the experience they were having. Jim the owner was at the heart of the place - you could see his love for what he does and the care for his staff. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience here. We have done a few treks and my daughter said this trek was the one she felt most safest and confident on. This is a great setup with a barn which is nice and cool for the horses. The horses are very well looked after and very quiet. The scenery was beautiful plus we saw lots of kangaroos. Our guides Jim and Leika (sorry if you see this review and I've spelt your name wrong) were wonderful... very friendly and chatty. As were all the other ladies working there. Highly recommend.

Amazing views you can't get anywhere else and on horse back nonetheless! The guides there make sure you ride within your level and assure you are comfortable throughout the ride. They all know what they're doing so don't be afraid to talk to them and listen! Absolutely loved Danny as our guide! Their horses all have distinct personalities and are used to beginners too. Treat these people (and horses) well, they frickin deserve it! Would come back over and over again for the experience, an absolute must for visiting Australia!

As a non horse rider I was a bit scared before going, but once I was there I felt completely relaxed and safe. The people guiding us were incredibly friendly and helpful. The horses are well trained and riding them is not complicated at all and they know the course well so I didn’t have to struggle with guiding them. In our group of 8 we had 2 guides riding with us and the 1 hour ride is definitely recommended and worth it. The view was so beautiful and we even rode past cows from the neighbouring farm. It is great for all ages.

Brontë and miller as our guides were a pure delight. Will be back!

I had a wonderful experience doing a 1h bushland trail ride a few days ago. A small group of us (7) were led by 2 guides - Jim the owner and Megs. They were very professional and taught us the basics and allowed to settle in and get comfortable before we got started. I was a little nervous and Megs kindly offered to have the lead rope on my horse till I was comfortable. Eventually, I had a really fun time with my horse Bobby. He is incredibly well-mannered, calm and did not get spooked easily. He does really well with mud as well and does not mind it at all :) All the horses looked well taken care of - I could not see a strand of hair that was loose on Bobby :) Oh and they also made sure the helmet, stirrups and saddle fit well on you before starting the ride. It was so safe and enjoyable. Would go back again!!!!

Blackheath General Store & Cafe is highly recommended for its country cooking, offering restaurant-quality meals that can last for multiple nights. The all-day breakfast menu and chai tea lattes are also praised. Customers love the take-away options like Coq Au Vin and Paprika Chicken, as well as the mango goat cheese bruschetta made by Chef Bec. While some find it a bit pricey, many are willing to pay for the quality of the food.
I love the Blackheath General Store. I always have a delicious meal and a good coffee and even a mock tail is on the menu now so I don’t have to worry about driving after. Chef Bec made a lovely mango goats cheese bruschetta as shown in the photo. It was yummy!

Blaq Restaurant & Bar is a delightful culinary gem nestled within the charming Kyah Boutique Hotel in Blackheath, New South Wales. This stylish eatery embraces a hyper-local menu philosophy, showcasing fresh ingredients sourced from nearby gardens and local producers in the Greater Blue Mountains and Central Ranges. The ambiance is enhanced by its elegant design, featuring views of a magnificent century-old cherry tree that adds to the restaurant's unique charm.
the food was great, will be recommending to people and will be coming back. Kitchen staff, keep doing what you're doing. food came out fast enough and good portions and extremely delicious. however, the wait staff, I see the potential but I think management needs to send the newer staff to serving lessons or clearing table lessons. some of our table was cleared while there was still food on the plate and they come back asking if we're done with rest WHILE I had my fork on my potatoes to eat. I had to say no this time. There seemed to be a manager/supervisor who was dressed different to the wait staff, he needs to be doing more managing and less doing wait staff work so he can see the flow the floor. he just looked really anxious hovering over the tables and his staff which looks like made them anxious and made us anxious. This place is really nice, nice vibes, nice decor, I will still come back. I hope their newer wait staff can be more confident when serving.

Part of the KYAH hotel, BLAQ had a really nice vibe. Service was good. Smalls were nice, I liked the Manchego Cheese Tart more than the hash brown. The steak was good. Unfortunately, I had a fair few bones in the dory and I personally didn't like the shrimp sauce. Brussel sprouts were great. The winner was dessert with the Madeleines which were fresh out of the oven and amazing. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

We had a great night at BLAQ, nice food and drinks. It’s very popular so make sure to make a reservation. The place is beautiful too, modern and cozy lights. All the food was good but the brussel sprouts were a bit too salty. And one more comment I think it’d be good for the restaurant to work on their acoustics because it was quite noisy even though everyone was just chatting at normal levels.
Jasmijn T — Google review
The food was amazing! We were there on a Tuesday, so had the Blaq out menu which gave us a good chance to try all of the small dishes and we loved it. The only thing that let the experience down was the service. The servers were very nice and friendly when serving you, but lacked the attentiveness around the dining room. One girl was on her phone at the bar, which we found didn’t fit the vibe that the restaurant was trying to give off. We had also mentioned in our booking that we were celebrating a special occasion, but nothing was done to acknowledge this. We didn’t mind, but just thought it was a bit pointless to ask if it didn’t matter anyway. Would still recommend because the food is amazing!

Our first time here and Blaq is worth the drive to Blackheath from Sydney. Attached to the Kyah Hotel, it was in a beautiful garden setting Food was elevated. Nice flavours and creative pairings for the ingredients. Service was excellent and the staff could answer our questions regarding the menu. The menu is designed to be shared. Which I love as you can then taste a few things. . We would have wanted to tr everything in the small plates but alas! next time. The tuna wonton , and hash brown were on point. It really is worth sharing so you can get the bigger plates as well. We had the fried chicken, the lamb rack and a fish with a side of Brussel sprouts. Banana cake for dessert.

One of the most beautiful spaces I have walked into in a long time. Incredibly designed and SO warm and welcoming. The architecture is brilliant. The menu is diverse and interesting - the standout was the tuna and the prawns from the starter menu - the cocktails were 10/10 and the service from the manager Jess was the best I have experienced anywhere. I honestly cannot wait to come back and spend more time at BLAQ and stay at Kyah the hotel attached.
Casey B — Google review
This is an excellent restaurant, which is difficult to fault. In fact the only issue I had was I wasn't big on the beer on tap.....and that, for most, can be a matter of personal choice. The menu was not huge, and I like that. It had, for me, the perfect selection of fish, meat and veggie options that made choosing easy with neither delay nor disappointment. We each chose a main and a selection of sides (3 between 4 of us, and in truth 2 would have been enough). The belly pork was superb; just melt in the mouth and I'm glad two of us selected that. I rather think that the veggie option pushed it hard - comprising pumpkin roasted and set upon a bed of aubergine puree. Even so, the chicken green curry was well-received and washed down with beers and wines, we had a highly amusing, boredering on the raucous) evening. We are sorry that you had to ask us to leave, but you even did that with tact and we appreciate that - honestly, we just lost track of the time while we were having such a lovely evening. Solid 5 stars from me.

We had an amazing dinner at Blaq, from start to finish! Every dish was beautifully balanced, full of flavour, and perfectly presented ✨ We started with the Burrata (fig leaf oil, honey, macadamia & garlic shoot) — such a delicate and creamy combination — Hash Brown with leeks in white balsamic and chives, and the Mushroom Toast with mushroom XO and preserved truffle — rich and earthy perfection 🍄🤍 The highlight for me was the Snapper with rhubarb aguachile and radish, a fresh and vibrant recommendation from Will that I absolutely loved! 🐟💫 For mains, we shared the Fried Chicken (with Warrigal Green Curry), Chat Potatoes (with duck fat and Jerusalem artichokes), and the Brussels Sprouts — every bite full of depth and creativity. To finish, the Manchego and Plum Tart was the perfect ending — another great pick from Will! 🍷🍰 Thank you, Will -and thank you all the team- for your wonderful recommendations, knowledge, and friendly service — you truly made our night even better. P.S.: The music was on point — great tunes, perfect vibe for the evening! 🎶

Nestled in the mountains, Zoe's is a multifaceted establishment marked by a red neon-lit Z. This venue seamlessly combines a live music space, a chic cocktail bar, and an innovative Mexican restaurant to create a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere. The classy interior adds to its appeal. Under the guidance of Chef Will Cowan-Lunn, Zoe's in Blackheath offers inventive Mexican cuisine. Guests can savor tacos and margaritas while enjoying the lively ambiance.
A new Italian restaurant (previously Mexican) with a straight-forward menu. Despite being full booked for Friday night, they were accommodating and fit us in for a quick dinner as we made our way to Bathurst. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, with a pianist playing relaxing Jazz tunes, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food came out really fast and was fresh and yummy. I really enjoyed the fig and procuitto dish. We arrived famished and left content and happy (from the Jazz tunes). Thank you and we'll be back on our next road trip.

My partner and I visited Zoe’s in Blackheath for Valentine’s Day dinner. The atmosphere was nice, but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The entrees were overpriced for what you got. I paid $18 for 4 slithers of pickled capsicum with 5 butter beans—honestly, not that tasty. For the price, I expected more. The mains were better, though not perfect. The beef shin was underwhelming, which was disappointing given its potential. The biggest issue we had was with the service. After being seated, we were forgotten about, and our drinks only arrived partially, forcing me to get up and retrieve the rest myself. The staff seemed a bit disheveled and were more focused on chatting behind the bar than clearing tables or taking orders. Overall, while the food had some redeeming qualities, the service and value for money left a lot to be desired. I’d use caution if considering a booking in the future.

Ordered lamb chops and chicken parma. Lamb chops were amazingly seasoned! Very well cooked 👍🏼 Amazing amazing fries that came with the lamb chops & chicken parma!

The most beautiful Mexican! The cocktails are actual cocktails that have some bite and the passionfruit curd, young coconut, cashew praline with white chocolate mousse was delightful! Do not miss this place to grab dinner if you are local.
Kaysi K — Google review
Had a wonderful time with the family, despite the food being very mediocre, the staff were friendly and considerate (gave us an ice-pack for the night). Nachos and tacos were not authentic, nacho chips were crunchy but slightly tangy, beef brisket was bland and cold, guacamole was average, and portion was small for the price. Mixed up our orders and got a cauliflower dish (that was tasty!) instead of tacos, but wasn't charged for it which was nice of them :) They have a pool area in the back and live music on some nights. Not bad, but not the best. Maybe next time, Zoe's! :)

Tips and Idea! We walked in to Zoe tonight without booking, knowing that its weekends we did try our luck… luckily we got in and have a good table near the window. I must say that booking is essential here for weekend dinning. Been hearing alot of things about Zoe from others and I decided to try it myself. We ordered, Soft tacos Pulled Pork and Beef (Most Recommended), Prawn Hard Tacos for an appetiser is Most Recommended to try. We also ordered the Guacamole with Deep Fried Tacos (Not my palate for tonight) but taste very good tho. We did’t order any alcohol as were driving and were only dropping by for a light dinner. Staffs here are very friendly no complain at all. Waiting time for the Food is around 15mins maximum based on our experience. Drinks will be served less than 10mins. The place is very cozy and they have days with live music too, i thinks every Fri-Sat they have local musicians. For a first timer, I would say… I will recommend the place to others… the only missing star ⭐️ in my rating is that, maybe I was expecting more options but to be honest their menu is just enough to keep you full and drinks to get you wasted (lol). Location: Blackheath NSW

Last time we ate at this restaurant, it was a Mexican food venue and that is what made us return some years later. However, to be only disappointed in available menu options. The service was really good to be frank, but over priced pasta bolognaise with next to no pasta sauce and any beef mince. Made it an expensive bag of pasta. What cheapened the experience was the high end plastic garden furniture seats and the theme of triple J music playing in the background. Food was served promptly though, but the overall experience certainly took away from the memories we were hoping to make.
Matty J — Google review
Had a lovely time but while the food looked fantastic, something was missing, just some punch of flavour to take it over the edge from nice to amazing. Cocktails were great and service was very fast to bring food over, but were slow to grab attention or bring water to the table. The seating was extremely uncomfortable and the music really ruined the vibe; they were the main sticking points

If you're on the hunt for a pizza experience that truly delights, look no further than Pizza Delish! This gem serves up fresh, hot pizzas with a perfectly thin and crispy base, topped just right to avoid any sogginess. Their House Special—a supreme with prawns—is an absolute must-try, while the Aussie pizza featuring bacon, egg, and onion makes for a delightful snack. The staff are friendly and ensure timely delivery of your order.
We prefer pizzas with fresh toppings, which are cooked on a thin crisp base and not too heavily loaded and soggy. This pizza was amazing for us! Our garlic bread was a bit overcooked, but we were really happy with our supreme and Hawaiian pizzas. Would highly recommend!! Service was lovely, and it came out fresh in under 25mins. So good

I make a trip from Sydney to blackheath just to have their pizzas! Very lovely thin and crispy base with lots of toppings without getting soggy. Have been here many many times and will continue to come back. Take away only, but there are picnic tables on the other side of the train tracks

Large well topped pizzas at a fair price. The bases are thin so don't be afraid to hold back on your order.

Pizza was fresh, hot and awesome. Non oil thin base with just the right amount of fresh toppings. Gave a 3 for atmosphere as I got Delivery but the shop is nice and clean everytime I walk by. The House special is (a supreme with Prawn) the bomb and the Aussie (bacon, egg and onion) is a nice snack 😋 Staff were great and Delivered on time 👌🏾 Edit: Had to get more this week and upload pics of my $38 order. 29/5/2025, Pizza was hot, fresh and awesome 💋🤌🏾 owner is lovely 👌🏾

Pizza was paper thin, onion not chopped, looked like the pizza you make in year 6 food tech class john. garlic bread was like chewing on a leather boot that had been frozen and then microwaved six times over. unsure how there are so many good reviews. think a name change is needed to 'pizza that is not very delish', or even better close down and try again as a curry house or maybe fish and chips???

I ordered pizza on Thursday delivery. It was cold it was running late. I ordered a deal number nine the meat lovers had not all the toppings on it and it was quite gross and disgusting. and the supreme was cold and the time before that I ordered delivery, they forgot my garlic bread i’m very disappointed in the quality of the pizzas considering the meatLovers had not all the toppings it was just sad and was just dusting and the supreme was just cold.
Destiny M — Google review
My teenage son went in to order a deal nine on Friday night. It took him 30 mins to get Acknowledged then to place his order. Then we waited A further hour for our order. We were so hungry we opened it in the car but couldn't eat any as it wasn't cut all the way through. Once we got home I found out why. The base was that burnt, it was tough and cracked instead of cutting. The toppings were really only in the middle not on any of the edges and and my supreme was missing toppings and instead an overload of olives to fill it. Didn't taste like anything but charcoal and olives. Garlic bread wasn't cut either. So disappointed. The kid's feed theirs to the dog under the table because they didn't want anything but the first two bites. Left Disappointed and hungry.

Day 4

Proximity is everything
For day 4, we bundled attractions like Barrow Lookout and Pulpit Rock Track and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 7 hours.

The scenery at Barrow Lookout is stunning, and what sets it apart is its convenient location as the endpoint for shorter walks. It can be reached in about 15 minutes from Govetts Leap or in around an hour via the Braeside walk (which is currently closed but still accessible). The Braeside route may have a few muddy sections, so it's advisable to go after 4 pm when the workmen have left.
Great walk with some elevation and beautiful views. This lookout has some great scenery
Google N — Google review
A hidden gem!!! The Barrow Lookout offers magneficent viewes over Govetts Leap and Grose Valley. It's reached via either the Braeside Walk or Cliff Top Track between Evans Lookout (2.4 km) and Govetts Leap Lookout (0.9 km). Its 20 min moderate walk from Govetts Leap Lookout with plenty of free car parks available. Highly recommended!!!
M K — Google review
When we visited today, there was a lovely waterful looking back towards Govetts Leap. Never fails to impress
L M — Google review
Unlike Govetts Leap Lookout and Evans Lookout, you can't drive to Barrow Lookout, so it's a much nicer place to enjoy the spectacular views of the valley and waterfalls. Barrow is about 20 minutes south of Govetts Leap Lookout along the Cliff Top Track (fairly steep descent) and very close to the intersection with the Braeside Walk, which provides an alternative route back to town.
Charles C — Google review
The views here are great, but what I really like about this lookout is it’s a really handy endpoint to some shorter walks if you don’t have a full hike in you. You can get here from govetts leap in 15 mins or so (comfy half hour return) and my personal favourite via the braeside walk where it’s more like an hour return. Pro tip: Braeside walk currently closed but it’s completely fine to walk (just a few muddy bits in the middle) so just go after 4 when the workmen have left 😳
Nikolaus A — Google review
Barrows lookout can probably be reached from 2 different directions. We walked down from Govetts Leap and then walked back. The sign at Govetts just indicated it’s a 15 minutes walk to bridal veil falls. What it doesn’t tell you is that it is about the equivalent of a 45 story building worth if relatively uninterrupted stairs. Luckily we were in good shape. The number of people suffering in heels and poor health were disturbing.
Stephen N — Google review
Nice 15 minute walk down to Barrow Lookout, love crossing over the top of Bridal Veil Falls on the stepping stones. Takes a bit more than 15 minutes coming back...it's ALL stairs ! Worth it though.

After a small downhill walk of 650mtrs you reach this beautiful lookout where you can gaze the beautiful Bridal veil falls.

Day Gallery is an exceptional establishment that exhibits a diverse range of Australian artwork, spanning from colonial to contemporary. The gallery is managed by two well-informed and amiable individuals who are highly regarded in the community. Unfortunately, there has been some misguided criticism concerning certain pieces, such as Norman Lindsay's drawings and etchings, but this does not detract from the overall value of the gallery.
The Day Gallery is a true gem! The curated collection showcases a remarkable range of styles and talent, with a clear focus on celebrating local artists. The gallery's taste is impeccable, creating a cohesive and visually stunning exhibition. It's wonderful to see such a strong commitment to supporting the vibrant artistic community in the Blue Mountains Highly recommended!

The gallery owned by Vince and Helen Day is exquisite and well-balanced. Local Johnny K's vibrant scenery drew our attention into the gallery, and Vince's friendliness and passion for the great outdoors kept us interested.
Keith H — Google review
Have known Helen and Vince professionally and personally for many years. Without hesitation, they are Top Shelf. For them, it's not just about selling paintings, it's about two things: - with contemporary artists, it's about support and encouragement; and - with traditional artists, it's about research and adding value. Five Stars and some !!.
Mr B — Google review
Totally enjoyed visiting the Day Gallery and being surrounded by stunning paintings by local artists. The friendly manager, Vince, knew his stuff and truly loves his job. Delightful experience without crowds or parking hassles
Kate S — Google review
This is a wonderful gallery which features colonial and contemporary Australian art. It is run by two knowledgeable, friendly, respected and decent people. The prudish woman who thinks Norman Lindsay drawings and etchings are 'pornography' has done this gallery, and a respected deceased artist a great disservice.

Visitors can expect to discover an assortment of jazz and rock albums, encompassing both new releases and pre-owned discs in excellent condition. The Cliff Top walking track in the Blue Mountains is a 6km trail that offers exhilarating views of Grose Valley. Starting at Govetts Leap Lookout and ending at Evans Lookout, this easy to moderate hike is known for its wildlife sightings including king parrots and yellow-tailed black cockatoos. The trail is sunnier and warmer than the Grand Canyon Walk, making it perfect for birdwatching and wildflower spotting, especially in spring.
Great hike, can be done easily in 1 day if you start early, I did it in 4 hours. Recommend to start Katoomba and finish W Falls. 25000 steps, 2000 cals burned. Awesome views, great trail, almost of it was open, they’re still working on a few minor sections, but the bypasses are fine. Enjoy!

Reviewing between wentworthfalls and gordonfalls. Day 1 track. Fit person can do easily in 3 hours. Easy 5 min walk from wentworth falls station. Bits and pieces of track has good views. Good waterfalls on the path and adjacent tracks. Just found couple of benches all the way in between to grab lunch. Sighted owl near pool of siloam. Had to take a detour in 30 mins from wentworthfalls all the way to wentworth falls carpark area. Additional 1.5km walking on pedestrian road. Uneasy was the way out from gordon falls to leaura station. Not much options to complete the last mile.

Hounslow, located in a charming arcade, is a hidden gem for coffee enthusiasts. The iced butterscotch latte and fancy food presentation make it a delightful spot. While some find the portions small for the price, others praise the fritters as the best they've ever had. The cafe's cute alleyway location provides protection from unpredictable weather. Visitors rave about the delicious beef burger, calabrese toastie, and especially the seasoned crispy chips.
This one’s a bit of a hidden gem tucked away inside an arcade. Glad we searched up coffee spots in Blackheath because I really enjoyed what we had here. Iced butterscotch latte was delicious. Food was also really good, and presented in a way that’s a lil bit fancy. We love that. Portions looked a little bit small for some dishes, especially considering the price, however it looks to be about average for the area after looking at a few other menus. Would definitely go back, their menu was intriguing and distinct for the area.

Absolutely great breakfast. Seems to be under new management, and so much better. My partner had two slices of sourdough with avocado, poached egg and mushrooms. This was so good and so well made, absolutely delicious. My daughter had the poached eggs, which came with sourdough, asparagus, pickled daikons, and sorrel. Very impressive. I had the iron bark streaky bacon and egg roll. Delicious. It came with rocket, kewpie mayo, pear chutney and Swiss cheese. Superb. We also shared a side of hot herbed chips, which had a brilliant herb mix along with aioli. I want to know what’s in the mix. So good Also had brilliant drinks. Mine was a butterscotch latte, so yum. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back.

Small cafe hidden away in an arcade off the main street. The service was great as was the food. Coffee was also quite nice. Restaurant
Ates Blackheath is a renowned restaurant located in the Blue Mountains, previously known as Vulcans and Vesta. The establishment boasts a 150-year-old wood-fuelled oven that infuses Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors into their dishes. Chef and co-owner Will Cowan-Lunn oversees the creation of delectable items such as heirloom zucchini with smoked eggplant and wood-roasted pork neck with honey-thyme peaches.
A Special and Memorable Dining Experience From the very first bite, our experience at Ates was something special. The standout for me was the scallops — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of natural flavour, paired beautifully with a bold and balanced Szechuan sauce. The duck was equally impressive, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich, flavourful, and cooked to perfection with unique elements that elevated the dish. I also loved the delicately spiced ricotta cheese dish served with fruity Gibson Grove olive oil — simple, elegant, and delicious. I must also call out the wonderfully and friendly service, and I highly recommend Ates to anyone who appreciates elevated and distinctive flavours. A big thank you to the owners, chef, and staff for a wonderful meal!
Russell G — Google review
Cute little place in Blackheath, we chose the set menu with the duck as the main, every thing was pretty nice but wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary for the price. Also for a place with a name like Ates which means fire it was extremely cold inside not the kind of place that feels warm and comfortable to eat also the name is suggestive that there may be some Turkish options but there werent any maybe aside from a piece of bread. Also for that price I would much prefer red meat or even kangaroo something different but well done. The waiter was extremely delightful and the same with all the staff were lovely. Hope to come back if there's a nice fireplace or in summer and a different menu.

Hands down the best duck I’ve ever had. Was ready to lick the plate ! We got the tasting menu and it gave us a good selection of food from the menu - I was hoping that some of the more seafood based items would be in the tasting menu but we will be back to try them if we’re up here.

I really enjoyed my meal at Ateş. The ambience was gorgeous; warm, buzzing, inviting. The staff were great, they were attentive, fun and friendly. The food was really enjoyable too, our bread and ricotta was a highlight but everything was executed well. Whilst it was quite pricey, most great dinner spots are now anyway. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area again.

I cannot fault this place, the flavours of the food were devine, loved every single dish we ordered we also had envy of the duck which seem to be on every other table but unfortunate we didn’t have space to fit such a large duck! But will def come back. Worth the drive from Sydney for sure!

Kyah Hotel

Located in the bohemian village of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, Kyah Hotel is a family-owned 46-room boutique hotel that has been transformed from a 1970s era motel into a modern mountain retreat. The hotel features trendy archways, Art Deco-inspired furnishings, and spacious interiors with a Palm Springs-inspired design. Divided into three wings named after the Three Sisters, the hotel offers elegant and playful accommodations.
Well situated in the blue mountains within easy driving distance to the main attractions, the Kyah hotel was a very enjoyable stay! The rooms are clean and stylish, with digital check in available. The facilities onsite were a lovely addition too, we utilised the hot tub which was delightful in the cold weather, and had great music playing. The games room is a fun option as well, and bike hire was also available. The onsite restaurant Blaq, had a great ambiance, tasty food and nice drinks - recommend popping in there during your stay. The hotel also provides a light free breakfast which was a lovely touch, and free parking also. A great option for your stay in the blue mountains!

It’s taken me two years to write this review because I honestly wanted to keep this amazing place a secret. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and instantly relaxing. The rooms are beautifully presented and have a lovely fragrance that makes you feel right at home. One of my favourite parts is the spa and sauna — you can book it privately, which means no crowds or interruptions. It’s the perfect way to unwind. Even with other guests around, the entire place has a calm and peaceful energy that completely puts your mind at ease. And then… the food. Wow. The restaurant here is incredible — they use produce grown right out the back, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. We’ve dined here three times now, and each meal has been outstanding. The menu changes with the seasons, and every dish has been full of flavour and creativity. Every dinner has been a highlight, and I hope my photos do the experience justice. A truly beautiful place with amazing food and a talented chef. We can’t wait to come back!

During our stay in the Blue Mountains, we stayed at this lovely hotel with wonderful staff, delicious food, and great facilities. For us, it was perfect. The only suggestions I would make are to include a bathrobe and flip-flops in the room for more comfortable access to the hot tub and sauna, and to add a second chair in the room so two people can sit comfortably. And, as a big darts fan, I think it would be fantastic to have a dartboard in the game room 🎯😁

Seven of us all ladies from Sydney to japanese bathhouse, we wanted to have nice lunch. entered restaurant trying to find nice outside seats. Servant guy and a ladyin front door told us "don't walk around Restaurant. Wait outside". It was literally empty there was 2 people on corner seating and having lunch. We waited outside 15 minutes. Then we sat and ordered food and wine. Food menu was the most confusing menu i have ever saw. Waitress explained telling about it is pretty especial and all local food. So i ordered duck for $69. It was burnt outside, overcooked small leg and 2 boiled bokchoy. Leg tastes like chicken. Bok choy and leg are small on amount of water running. That was my experience. What can i say. No thanks next time or anyone.

Gem of a hotel located in the Blackheath area! Kyah comes equipped with everything you would need for a short stay in the Blue Mountains. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff and an outdoor hot-tub perfect for relaxing after a day of trekking. Don’t miss out on the onsite restaurant! Every single dish we tried was delicious. Thanks for everything!

I always look for something a little quirky / outside of the standard hotel - motel experience and Kyah 100% delivered! Awesome property with such a chilled vibe, felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Awesome games room and quality games, the spa experience was so unique and the restaurant and greenhouse just lovely. Can’t wait to return one day!

I booked a get away to Sydney just for one night. Kyah was a lovely place of respite. The wood fired hot tub was a real highlight. Had a lovely cocktail and some pieces from the blaq out menu. I suspect I picked the wrong days to stay when I couldn’t have the full menu. Will have to make another trip up. My only feedback was the breakfast offering was very light on and the room I heard a bit of road noise in. The only negatives in an otherwise amazing stay.

Palm Springs vibes in the Blue Mountains; the rooms are well appointed with subdued lighting; dark block out curtains and an amazing restaurant. Hot tub ; sauna & basketball court available with plenty of parking; we have stayed here before and really appreciate the attention to detail ; even with Australian made bath products rather than cheap poorly made imports !

Love the food here! Every time I visit it's great. Especially the Chicken Satay Skewers with the best mouth watering peanut sauce. I love the old home feel with it being relaxing. Very helpful staff. Thank you! 🙏❤️

Absolutely incredible food, fantastic service, and excellent prices. Honestly some of the best Thai food I've ever had! The pad Thai was delicious as was the chicken curry with satay sauce. The coconut rice was divine!

Had a wonderful meal at Thai Silk in the Blue Mountains. The curry puffs were light, crispy, and packed with flavour. The yellow curry was creamy and aromatic, with the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The standout for me was the stir-fried pork belly beautifully crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a rich, tasty sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything tasted authentic and freshly made. Definitely one of the best Thai meals I’ve had highly recommend Thai Silk!

I am Thai tourist and I can tell this place serves incredibly great Thai food. The taste is quite authentic, big portion, lots of veggie but who cares when I love veggy. I had dinner here 2 days in a row. Bring your own alcohol drink. Free parking available in the rear. Highly recommend their pork belly in ginger chilli paste (Moo pad prik khing).

Food is amazing. Been here over 4 times now (must do everytime we visit blue mountains). Unfortunately the middle aged Thai owner/manager is always in some kind of bad mood and her customer service ain't the best. Otherwise the younger waitresses are all lovely.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We love Thai food and we have had Red Curry Duck and Satay Chicken from many restaurants. Let me be absolutely honest. This Satay and Curry is THE best we have ever had, EVER. Beautiful dining , amazing food.

The food was served incredibly fast, and everything we tried was full of flavour, especially the panang curry, which I highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the place is spotless. It’s a lovely, family-run business with friendly service. If you’re craving tasty, authentic Thai food, this is the spot!

Top notch Thai takeaway - the food highlight of our Blue Mountains visit. We ordered: Cashew Nut vegetables (very fresh veg with great flavours), Crispy Pork Belly (very tasty), Pad Kee Mow chicken (super spicy but couldn't get enough) + Thai Fried Rice (a bit bland but good base dish to counter the spice).
