We began early in the morning for the Mangala Aarti (around 4:30 AM), and the atmosphere then was deeply calming — cool air, soft light, and a sense of being away from the rush of everyday life. The sound of the bells and the chanting, the gentle lighting, all of it felt like a pure spiritual start to the day. Later, we attended other aartis like the Raj Bhog and the evening Sandhya Aarti. The evening aarti especially is magical — lights, kirtans, lamps, and people singing together; it brings a very uplifting energy. Inside the temple there are beautiful idols of Krishna-Balaram, Radha-Shyamsundar, and Gaura-Nitai, elegant architecture, lovely decorations, and a warmth in how devotees and staff alike express their devotion. We also enjoyed the Govinda’s restaurant inside the complex — pure vegetarian food, simple, wholesome and very satisfying. Overall it felt like more than just sightseeing — it felt like a connection, a time to breathe, reflect, and soak in devotion. If you want a spiritual space that’s peaceful yet vibrant, ISKCON Vrindavan is a must-visit.

Beautiful and Serene! Those are the words I would describe this temple with. There’s nothing more I can say that you don’t already know, so I’ll share some tips that might help. 1. Best time to visit – Night, as you’ll experience a beautiful light show. Though the temple and its surroundings are so enchanting that you’ll have a good time here regardless of when you visit. 2. Preparation – As large electronics (such as cameras, laptops, and such) and footwear (inside the main temple premises) are banned, it’s better to find a way to stash them securely beforehand. You’ll find several people who can help with storing your stuff outside the temple, but it can get expensive real fast (as much as ₹100–₹500 depending on your items) and might not feel entirely safe either. The only things you are allowed to have inside are your purse, mobile phone, and things of similar nature. 3. Take your time in there. No need to rush.Spend some quality time and soak in the peace. 4. Crowd & Traffic – It gets really crowded both inside the temple and outside, especially at night. You can literally get stuck in traffic just a kilometre away from the temple for 30–40 minutes if you’re in a vehicle. I’d recommend walking that last 1 km or taking an e-rickshaw if you’re unable to walk. But do mind your surroundings while walking, as both people and vehicles share the same road, and there are inadequate measures to manage the crowd and traffic. That being said, I hope you have a good time here!

Parking in Vrindavan can be a bit challenging, so I would suggest taking an auto rickshaw to visit the temple. It is convenient and saves time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend keeping at least an hour to explore and fully enjoy this magnificent place.

This is one of the oldest & famous temple of Vrindavan. This is a huge multilevel structure consist of different god ideals in different floors. It's like you had to step up upto 7 floors to reach the top of the temple. This temple need to be maintained & preserved well as it is a architecture heritage. There is an motorised show in the ground floor, 10 rupees per person entry fee. At top of temple you can enjoy the mesmerising panoramic view of the city. Public washroom & drinking water available inside the temple for public convince. But washroom were not properly maintained this needs to be fixed.

Stopped by Shree Pagal Baba Temple during my Vrindavan visit, mostly out of curiosity after hearing the name from a local shopkeeper. It turned out to be one of the more peaceful places I visited that day. The temple structure itself is quite different from the others in Vrindavan — tall, white, and layered like a tower. I climbed up a few floors (yes, there are multiple levels inside!) and each one had its own set of idols and small decorated areas. The higher I went, the quieter it got, and from the top, there's actually a pretty nice view of the surrounding area. One thing that stood out was how clean and well-maintained the whole place was. Despite being open to all visitors, the atmosphere felt very calm — no unnecessary noise, and not too commercial. There was a small group singing bhajans softly in one of the halls, which gave the place a peaceful background vibe. Also, the name might make you smile at first — “Pagal Baba” — but once you're there, the devotion and energy feel quite sincere and grounding. If you’re exploring beyond the usual popular temples in Vrindavan, this one is worth a stop. Especially if you want some quiet time to just sit and reflect without any rush.

The architecture of the temple is beautifully designed. It is clean and well maintained (except the washrooms, washrooms need proper maintenance). There are multiple floors. First floor has Ganesh temple and main temple is of Radha Krishna. Hi dear, i had my dinner today and we ordered 1 sweet corn soup & khusboo special thali. Ok, let me start 1 by 1. 1. Soup: size of bowl is small, knor is offering rs10 satchet for this much, there price is 110 + tax. 2. They serve soup with regular spoon in that bowl, if they really don't have any proper spoon and bowl for soup then why the price is so high and it is in menu? 3. Ok, now comes for khusboo special thali, price is 290 + tax, higher than BIKANERWALA even. 4. Lets taste them: Shahi Paneer and Chole is very good; but Dal Makhani is having some foul smell; Mix Veg is not good in taste but ok. 5. Fruit Raita is also there in thali, it cointain only pineapple, main apne ghar mein khud isse bahot acha fruit raita banata hu, agar koi chef raita bhi nahi bnana janta toh wo kuch bhi nahi bna skta hai. 6. Now Salad: cutting is good, but there is plain onion in salad, smells a lot, not good to serve, no restaurant will serve you salad like this. Menu price is going to strike with HALDIRAM, higher than BIKANERWALA. Please improves the quality of food also. Money is all ruin there. And how i forgot to tell about pickel, it is the important part of a meal. 7. Pickel: very foul smell comes from mango in it, it is uneatable. Please change and keep Tops pickle, sasta toh ha hi par aapke pickles se acha hai, kha toh sakte hain ise. Rs1 wala pouch bhi better option hain, use bhi try kr sakte ho aap.

Sagar Ratna is a brand people trust, I went to sec 17 Chandigarh and it was worst experience as they were unable to handle crowd. In Vrindavan this restaurent was not capable of handling more than 15 people. Their Air Conditioning was a complete disaster, waiters were untrained or rookies and didn't know what they were doing. They forgot what order they took. I think Sagar Ratna should rethink and do something about their chain or it is at the brink of falling apart! Also I doubt the quality of the food they served us dahi vada which was stale. I asked for Manager and the guy told me that he is waiting downstairs and lied to us. No one ever took any pain to resolve any queries. All other customers also lost it as their orders were super delayed. They should have the courage to refuse the customers instead of serving them bad food! Please never go to Sagar Ratna.

I’ve eaten at several Sagar Ratna outlets before and have always appreciated their quality, but the Vrindavan outlet was a disaster. They served us stale buttermilk, which we immediately sent back, but the staff outright denied that there was anything wrong with it. The orange chutney tasted off, and the green chutney had a strong preservative smell. The staff was completely untrained – they couldn’t get our order right even after we repeated it four times, and they spilled sambar all over the table while serving. We were charged ₹1500 for food that tasted worse than what you’d get at a roadside stall. Highly disappointing.!

sree krishna janma bhoomi🥰 A place I have been wanting to go to for so long, how beautiful it is to see this place, Krishna and Radhe are mentioned everywhere. Krishna's songs are sung everywhere. If you look from outside the gate, you can see a huge temple complex inside. Seeing that, my mind was filled 🥹 No electronic items are allowed inside the gate, which is fine. Locker rooms are available to store all your bags and electronic items. Once you go inside, you will see a very tall and spacious temple! You can also see other temples here and there. You can see the prison where Lord Krishna was born in the main temple. A sight to see at least once in your life🥰. I don't feel like coming down from there. However, since I had to visit other temples, I took permission from Krishna and left from there❤️

I loved this place i visited there first time with my brother nd frnd it's so nice place. On that day it was raining there so they stopped entry they said if rain will stop sthen only u will be allowed to enter before 4 p.m. otherwise the entry will start at 4 p.m. only. But fortunately rain stopped for a while so they allowed entry again. But the main thing is the main temple inside, it open at 4 p.m only in evening. Morning time i don't know but evening time is this only. And if you want to go so i suggest not to take any bag or other things because they won't allow bags inside not even side bag of girls or women you should submit it outside the entry gate only and for women side bag there is different room and for big bags or boys or even belts and other belongings there is another side store and that is only one where you can keep your big bags. And if i say then avoid carrying those big bags because there would be a long queue so it takes time to submit that bag and that too only for 2 hours i think that time limit. Phones are also not allowed. But the view from inside is so nice and beautiful and it has big open complex a small cave and some shops are also there. And ha you can keep your footwears inside the complex one footstore is there like we used to keep in gurudwaras free of cost no need to pay money just have to put it in bags nd remember ur rack number. but if u keep them like that here and there in complex so they will throw it out.

I really feel charged after visiting Krishna Janma Bhoomi and I get goosebumps every time I visit this pavitra bhoomi. I am lucky enough to visit this pavitra bhoomi twice and keep counting.. Kans Quila or Kans Kila is a fortified castle located in Mathura, India.The earliest definitive mention of the castle is by Narahara Chakravarti in the 18th century, who described it to be the ruins of Kansa's castle. Since then, the castle walls have largely crumbled away and the site has been encroached upon. The current structure was built by Man Singh I. An observatory is said to have been added in the complex by Sawai Jai Singh (1699–1743), however it has been demolished now. The fort was used by Jats and Marathas, and under the British rule the fort was neglected and somewhat demolished. The fort has an audience hall surrounded by red sandstone pillars. The fort was earlier used as a barrier against floods.... need more maintenance and cleaning... totally dirty place. But the aerial view Yamuna river from this palce was amazing... 👍

1). LOCATION: This temple is 1.5km around from Kishori Raman Girls Inter College, Bhains Bahora, Kotwali Road, Mathura. Or it's near to Dori Bazar and these are kunj ki galiyan where you may find a lot of crowd (depends on the month.) Car can't be parked anywhere around the temple, so better to park it little distant and then walk or use electric rikshaw or normal rickshaw (it charges us 30rs per person for 2 people 60rs basically for 1.4km around) or you can even walk, depends. 2). MANAGEMENT: Yeah, comparative to south Indian temples management, in Kunj means Mathura Vrindavan that management isn't there, you may experience push among crowd inside temple premises and camera usually not allowed but all people capture Krishna (I personally don't find it bad we just want to keep him with in our memories and see him again whenever we want, But police and people here will say anything or may be abusive towards you that why you come here for pictures only na like that, so don't mind them.) 3). NEAR BY: Yamuna Ghat (Vishram Ghar) is just besides the temple you can visit just waking around 100-200 steps and there Bal Hanuman and Shiv temple small small one temples are there besides the Yamuna shore. 4). TIMING: I entered the temple around 9:35am on Sunday and darshan opened around 10:10 am. (Not sure about other timings). 5). FEELING: temple is beautiful inside out, I found a banner over there, Sanskrit U.M. school (uccha madhyamik vidhalaya) also there. It's like sheesh mahal ho bhagwan dwarkadhish ka and temple mai vibes bhut acche aur kirtan bhut Sundar ho raha tha , "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare". And Honestly Mathura people may feel like very helpful and very nasty also. Please don't mind them. Shri dwarakadhish mandir The temple was beautiful and peceful. The architecture is fantastic. The temple is located on main side of the road. So its easy to access there. Inside the temple complex little crowd is there. But we can pray easily and there is no difficulties.

Vishram Ghat is a  bath and worship place, on the banks of river Yamuna in Mathura. The traditional parikrama starts and ends at Vishram Ghat. Believed that Lord Krishna had rested at this place after killing Kamsa and the name Vishram Ghat is in reference to this as it means "ghat of rest". Evening time aarti a must watch. You can also do a boat ride for 100 rupees per person. Too crowded for doing retuals. But this ghat not properly maintained & cleaned. This area need to renovate & redevelopment.

The Radha Madan Mohan Temple is the oldest temple in Vrindavan and is closely connected with the pastimes of Sanatan Goswami, one of the six Goswamis sent by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Sanatan Goswami lived very simply on the banks of the Yamuna, absorbed in bhajan and writing scriptures. At that time, Madan Mohan Ji, the charming form of Krishna who captivates even Cupid, appeared in the life of Sanatan Goswami through the mercy of a wealthy Mathura merchant named Kalyan Das (or Ram Das Kapoor). One beautiful pastime tells how Sanatan Goswami, being very poor, could only offer Madan Mohan Ji dry chapati without even salt. Seeing this, Madan Mohan Ji lovingly complained, “My dear Sanatan, at least you can give Me some salt with My roti!” Sanatan Goswami humbly replied, “I am sorry, Prabhu, I am a poor man and cannot afford anything more.” Pleased with Sanatan’s devotion, Madan Mohan Ji accepted everything with great love, showing that He values devotion over opulence. Later, by Madan Mohan Ji’s arrangement, the wealthy merchant built the magnificent temple atop the hill near the Yamuna, where the Deity of Radha Madan Mohan Ji has been worshipped ever since. It's a nice place. Just opposite to Shree Krishna Janambhumi Temple. You'll get Vegetarian food here and good taste. The place is neat and tidy the staff is friendly. Infection the person who was on counter helped us in finding medicine around 10.30 pm he send his guy along with my sister on activa so that we can reach before the medical closes. Visited Shanker Sweets in Mathura for lunch and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. You will get mostly combos here like chole bature, Daal chawal and kulchas. it was a happy place to dine. However, the service was slow and our order took a while to arrive. On the positive side, the food was delicious and budget-friendly, making it a great value for money. The small space was cozy and well-maintained. Overall, Shanker Sweets is a good option for those looking for affordable and tasty food in Mathura. Just be prepared for a wait!

I had a good experience, i have the money then got the bill and cash. After a while i realised that i got ₹50 less from cashier / owner. I went back and told him, without even checking once he politely just smiled and gave me the ₹50 i felt i was short on as he forgot to give. I ordered food in upstairs restaurant which was good. Though the service was avg but taste was good. Really enjoyed the bedmi and sabzi. They sell bedmi for either ₹80 for 5 or ₹90 for 5. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The chole seemed to be made without onion and garlic, aligning with local satvik flavors. Still, overall, it lacked that bold, spicy kick. Rating: 3/5 The rabri was the highlight — rich, creamy, and full of texture, though a bit too sweet for my liking. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll enjoy it more. I had Biryani and Curry there among which, I felt the curry better. For me, the Biryani was over spiced with Cardamom, Cinnamon and Black pepper which tasted a mixed one instead of the traditional Biryani flavour. Curry was perfectly cooked with eventual proportion of spices and oil. Chicken in curry was a little bit stiff but manageable. Overall I will not be bored if I have to go there in future!😊

We had a very disappointing experience at this dhaba. We had clearly informed them while placing the order not to add any hot spices or chili in the thali and dal, as our kids cannot tolerate spicy food. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it was extremely spicy—so much so that even the adults found it difficult to eat. Our children, who had been hungry since morning and hadn’t even had breakfast, couldn't eat anything at all. We also raised a complaint, but the staff refused to acknowledge the issue and insisted that the food was not overly spicy and that it was necessary for taste. This lack of understanding and empathy was very disappointing. Overall, this was a very bad food experience during our Vrindavan trip. Not recommended, especially for families with kids or anyone who prefers mild food.

The best part of my whole journey was visit at Mansi ganga. The place where I felt like staying there. It was so so pleasant and calm. It really have the power to clear your mind from all negativity.

Giriraj Ji Temple is a sacred temple located on Govardhan Hill near Mathura, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Devotees perform the holy Govardhan Parikrama of about 21 km around the hill.

Excellent religious place and an ancient and a popular hotspot and temple for Uttar Pradesh tourism. It is very well known and highly recognized particularly by Hindus not only in India, but also abroad. A lot of functions are being organized regularly. There are a lot of visitors and devotees everyday, particularly for the clockwise circumambulation or parikarma of Govardhan Hill and Lord Krishna. It is well designed, well maintained and clean. The entrance and the exit are the same. The temple is really beautiful and the architecture is attractive. After offering the prayers, the devotees can do the parikarma around the Govardhan Hill. There are various types of parikarmas including Brij Chaurasi Kos Parikrama (252 km) and Govardhan Parikarma (21 km). The Govardhan Parikarma is just amazing and 21 km long in total. It is divided in two parts, Badi Parikarma is 11 km long and Choti Parikarma is 10 km long. The devotees can complete the parikarma by foot or E-Rickshaw. One other type is Dandavat Parikarma which is also of various types. The parikarma is done by the devotees of all ages. The devotees have to be really devotional during each parikarma. There are a lot of vendors all through the path of the parikarma offering flowers, sweets, snacks, fruits and dresses, makeup and related accessories of Lord Laddu Gopalji. A lot of restaurants, dhabas, ashrams, government restrooms and hospice are also there. Many tourist attractions like Kusum Sarovar, Radha Kund, Udbhav Kund, Shyam Kund, Govind Kund and Mansi Ganga increase your delightful experience. Overall, a wonderful experience and a must visit place. If anyone is in Uttar Pradesh or wants to visit Uttar Pradesh, then Girraj Ji Temple is really a must visit.

Shri Giriraj Ji Temple in Mathura is a very sacred and divine place. Devotees from all over India come here to seek blessings. Visiting this holy site truly feels like a blessing for me. The atmosphere is peaceful and filled with devotion, inspiring everyone to deepen their love for Lord Krishna. However, the parikrama route could use better cleaning and maintenance to make the experience more comfortable for devotees. Nice place . This place is my best bhakti temple . Govardhan is a key pilgrimage centre in India and a municipal town; a nagar panchayat; seat of a MLA Member of Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh; a Tehsil, in Mathura district in the India in state of Uttar Pradesh. About 23 kilometres from Mathura, the town is on the road link between Mathura and Deeg.Its a popular temple, located approx 20-25 Kms from Vrindavan, dedicated to Giriraj Ji, a natural form of Lord Krishna, who lifted the Hill on his finger, to save lives of the Brijwasi's. It's built at the center point of this hill & devotees walk around this hill for 21 Kms, called Parikrama, generally taking 5 hrs, usually barefooted. This faith of devotees is worth a praise. The symbolic small piece of mountain, approx 3 x 5 feet, is worshiped here. Sadly, cleanliness is a concern. the offering of milk, spilled all over, raises a stink as one gets inside. It is usually crowded, take care of belongings. This is not a tourist attraction but just meant for the devotees of Lord Krishna

Brief Review of Mathura Museum Mathura Museum houses valuable artifacts from the Gupta and Kushan periods, mainly showcasing sculptures of Buddha and Hindu gods. While the historical collection is impressive, the maintenance is lacking, and many objects are not well preserved. Information on exhibits is poorly written, and no guides are available. Phones aren't allowed inside, but parking is available and entry is just ₹5. Despite the flaws, the museum left me in awe of India’s rich history.

This is a hidden gem in Mathura. Historical artifacts displayed here. This Museum's had a good collection of stone structure & displayed in well manner. Entry is 5 rupees per person & 20 rupees for mobile photography no video recording allowed. There is storage facility for your belongings. Public washroom also there for your convince. The surrounding need to renovate & restored.

Good place for Historians and for curious persons. There are many artifacts present here in very good condition belonging to Kushana, Gupta, Late Gupta and medieval period. You can see the clues of Mathura school of sclupture. There are also Paleolithic tools and pottery present here.

Good place but not maintained well. Also the behavior of officials sitting there was rude and not good. No water facility. Documentaries were not there.

It's a Marvel of museums of Indian art and its heritage. It carries Pre historic stonage to the Medical art forms in fragments, remains and full in form artifacts and sculptural statuates. We fing greatest art work collection of Mathura's Kushana era sculptures here. The structure of this museum is asusual wonder of Archeological Survey of India. We see magnificent, Surya, Uma Shiva, Vishnu, Jaina, Buddha, Yaksha and other forms of sculptures etc. Very sad to see the fragment forms of sculptures. Any tourist visits Mathura must visit the grandure sculptures of this Museum.

This is a very nice museum with a collection of age-old artifacts. The entry ticket is just 5 Rs, and if you want to take your mobile inside, it costs an extra 25 Rs. However, they have a mobile keeping counter, so you can securely leave your phone outside and explore the museum without it. The descriptions provided beneath the sculptures are quite brief and lack much context. A few of the artifacts didn’t have any descriptions at all. It would be great if there was a guide available/mobile app to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the exhibits.

My expectation on entering the place was quite high but I was left a bit dissatisfied. The mural on the wall showcased that the restaurant had branches in some of the other big countries in US and UK. That obviously kept my expectations high. Unfortunately the experience turned out to be average. I was there for a lunch with family and relatives (12+ guests). We ordered soups, butter rotis, naan, Missi rotis, veg pulao, kadhai paneer, daal makhani mixed veg, raita etc. I asked for plain tomato soup( without pepper) for my kid but they said that the soup was already prepared in bulk and there was no way they could provide one without pepper. This was a bit disappointing. The sweet corn soup I was recommended by the restaurant staff again turned out to be too spicy for my kid. The food was too spicy and just fine. The ambience was ok but we had to prod the staff to turn on the air conditioning after the power tripped. One of the chairs that my relative was sitting on gave way and luckily he was not hurt. May be it was not the right day and my review is based on my first hand experience on that particular day.

I ordered a combo of burger, fries and cold drink/mocktail through zomato. The fries that they sent are the worst fries I have ever eaten, half of the fries were filled with oil, which usually happens when you fry them again after 2-3 hours, and some of the fries were hollow and they were very hard to chew (they must be stale) . I don't know what kind of potatoes these people are using. This one star rating is being given just because we can't review without it. Burger was filled with mayonnaise and taste was normal. And I guess they never deliver mocktails in this combo as it is easy to keep a 250ml pepsi and so easy is to disappoint people. Here I am adding photos of those stale and multiple times fried fries also with the review.

The service is not very good and also there is an electricty problem which comes and goes in minute to minute.

Everything was good except this roasted chunks in the food

A great surprise discovery in the middle of nowhere in Mathura, a godsend because all the eateries near the expected crowded places are dirty, unhygienic and swarming with flies. So, a place to eat in peace not bothered by the crowds in the temple surroundings or in the market is a pleasure to discover but the best is yet to come. The food is fresh, wholesome and tasty and the price is comparable to the budget restaurants in Delhi. So, you enjoy your food, eat to your satisfaction and the bill does not pinch you hard, is that a dream , no it's real here in Zaika. Incredible place!

It's a nice restaurant. Great place for lunch and dinners. But the hotel staff gotta do something about people letting their kids roam freely around the restaurant creating Havoc and disturbing other people.

I ordered a combo from Zomato from here which was a pizza+ a pasta + a mocktail but intead of pizza and mocktail they send me raw garlic bread and small cold drink 250ml and the pasta does not contain any vegetables and garlic bread contains mayonnaise instead of cheese also without any topping. Worst quality food

As per my knowledge it is the oldest canteen in mathura when i was a child, i always eat samosa in this canteen. Self service facility is there. Good space for sitting and good quality food offered with great taste.

Only samosas are good here, I tried chowmin yesterday and I feel it was the worst chowmin I ever had, it was so oily and smelled very bad.

This place is fine if u r looking for a place where u can get privacy. some dishes are prepared tasty . A complete hygienic place. But this is more expensive than any other. And it's kitchen is attached to the sitting area so when the cook Cooks something then the sitting area gets hotter.... And I suggest u to not to book for any birthday party as I mentioned this gets hotter because it has attached kitchen..... And the way they serve the food needs to get better ..

We liked the place. It offers good options for light snacks and unique chaats. We tried there Cheese Chaat Burger, Katori Chaat and Indori Poha. The taste is amazing. Must try....

Good food corner, great taste in budget. Must visit to enjoy delicious food or chaat . Huge variety and taste from all over the India. Good interior and relaxing environment and friendly staff and their services. You can enjoy idli sambhar, poha, pav bhaji , burgur , bhelpuri, chaat , tea , coffee, mocktail , lemonade etc. Best place for couples and students, can also arrange birthday parties and anversiory here. If you want a break from Math food and simple prasad, or after a hectic day of Parikram. Go here for a nice cheat meal. They have a great selection of Indian Chinese and Western dishes. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Open till late, 11.30pm.

I was impressed by the name and this is the only place that every local recommended! Food is delicious BUT THEY TOOK MORE THAN ONE HOUR TO SERVE PARATHAS 😏😏😏😏👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The place is hygienic and the staff is cooperative. Recommended only if you cant wait!!
