Rama Moccasin and Smoke is a delightful destination that offers an impressive array of Native jewelry, clothing, blankets, and moccasins alongside a well-stocked selection of cigarettes. Visitors often rave about the unique merchandise available, from handcrafted dream catchers to beautiful leather bags. The shop's cleanliness and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers looking for distinctive items. Many patrons enjoy exploring the diverse offerings, including beaded bracelets perfect for gifts or cool turtle-shaped rocks that appeal to kids.
Visit every 3-4 months for my husbands ciggs but I love tagging along for the other merchandise! The jewelry is really unique. Bought 9 different bracelets for nieces/ nephews. Some beaded for the girls, others more leather bound looking. (Only 2 shown below) Also found cool looking rocks cut to look like a Turtle Family great for one of the kids who loves turtles. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There are so many nice things here! Last time we ended up buying some shirts with Native designs.. the time before some Mugs for the family! Well organized and easy to move around the place.

Found some really cool pelts here with the kids! Friendly staff, cool shop, cheap smokes. No complaints here.
Niki M — Google review
What a fantastic place! Love the large humidor; love the selection; love the amenities! Only thing that would make this place better would be if they served a great scotch, or selection thereof, on their outdoor smokers lounge! Great service, great personalities!
Darren M — Google review
Great place, great selection. Do come prepared with a list of cigars you want though - they dont typically let you browse the humidor, have to tell them what you looking for.
Alex N — Google review
Great little shop for crafts an smokes..we go everytime we r in the area
Alexis B — Google review
The only place to get cigars in my opinion. It's a whole vibe. Huge covered patio to enjoy said stogies and a beautiful humidor.
Rob R — Google review
Great vibe, amazing merchandise had a blast walking around the shop. Bought a hand made dream-catcher as a gift. the leather bags where beautiful
Julian M — Google review
Went to the Smoke shop for the first time this evening, all I can say is WOW! There is an amazing selection of cigars in a massive, beautifully maintained humidor. The two gentleman that were working at around 6:00 pm were amazing. One was Jordan, I am embarassed that I forgot the name of the other guy, (who actually helped me). Both were extremely knowledgeable, I told them what I liked and they made an excellent suggestion. It was most enjoyable to sit and enjoy a cigar with a great coffee in the beautiful evening weather. I highly recommend this shop for anything you need for cigars. (They also have cigarettes and pipe tobacco available). I wish I could rate it higher.

Situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Couchiching, Leacock Museum National Historic Site is the former summer residence of renowned humorist Stephen Leacock. The elegant 19-room house offers a captivating tour that provides insight into Leacock's life and literary works. Orillia, often referred to as the mythical Mariposa in Leacock's writings, serves as an enduring muse for his acclaimed book 'Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town.'
What a brilliant museum and I learnt seveal things about Stephen Leacock. The library was by far the most exciting thing for me. Curious if there is a catalogue of the books there as some look rather interesting. Definitely worth checking this out. I've uploaded a few unique pictures of our visit! Thanks for the opportunity to have a self guided tour.

House of late Stephen Leacock, a renowned English-born Canadian humorist, writer, and political scientist. Great place to visit. Boathouse on the property is also nice place to see.
Goran B — Google review
Highly recommended museum. My husband and I did the self-guided tour about 5 days ago over the weekend. The lady at the entrance was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of posters and digital screens with information to read and listen to in each room. We enjoyed the original furniture and seeing the original posters and pamphlets used to advertise Leacock's work. The place is clean, neat and tidy. If you love history, I highly recommend visiting this place. The only issue we had 2as the boathouse. The door and windows were covered in spiderwebs and there would be no way I would attempt to open the door to view the inside. We could see through the dusty window that there was a screen and some more things to view. So the only suggestions is to keep the entrance to the boathouse clean and accesible. Other than that, we enjoyed the whole tour and the house was fascinating. I would definitely visit again sometime in the future.

Just visited the and really enjoyed it. The Leacock Museum staff were super friendly, the house is beautiful, and the spot on the lake is gorgeous. It’s not a huge museum, but there’s lots of diverse history and peaceful gardens to wander around. Great place for a relaxed morning explore —plus free parking and it’s kid-friendly too.

I haven't been here yet, but I just had to write a review. I met two lovely women from the museum at a festival as they were tabling a booth and they were just such lovely people! Truly the highlight of my day and I hope to visit someday soon 💙 Such passionate people are a reminder of why myself and many others are in this field - you don't go into museums for the money. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much to Amanda for indulging me as we both exchanged fun information about both our respective jobs!!
Naailah P — Google review
We came not knowing anything about Stephen Leacock or about this house. We were just visiting the area and thought we'd drop in. The staff was friendly. The history about Stephen Leacock was fascinating. We could see the effort that was put into beautifully retelling the story of this man. Recalling history and celebrating the beauty of his work is worthwhile. I was just super disappointed to see modern cultural touches that were added to this house. It made the experience less about history and more about politics. Specifically, a prominent rainbow flag at the entrance as well as all the gender symbols on the bathroom door. At this historic site we're celebrating Stephen Leacock, not pride. Of course everyone is welcome! Of course the bathroom is for everyone. Just a sign with a picture is enough. Modern touches to a beautiful historic site are the one thing that made me wonder what the point of it really is?

FARE Restaurant is situated on the Leacock Museum grounds, offering a unique dining experience with its exclusive waterfront patio overlooking Old Brewery Bay. The restaurant is known for its gourmet appetizers and famous cocktails, making it an ideal spot for brunch or a relaxing lunch. Owners Kalvin Sherry and Sarah Butler have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and have created a beautiful setting for visitors to enjoy delicious meals. While some patrons have praised the fresh and delicious food, others have expressed disappointment with certain menu items.
We had the chance to try Fair in Orillia twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was really good.Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails were really good.I still remember the one I had, ,Midnight Margarita. It was so so refreshing.Brunch was also a great experience. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall we had a really good time and would definitely go back.

The service was very friendly and relatively quick. The restaurant itself is nice inside and you get a good view of the water. I ordered the mushroom risotto and sticky toffee pudding. The serving sizes are big, which helps to justify the price. The cheese on the mushroom risotto was the best part. The mushrooms are left a bit too big (would be better if they were cut up smaller). The dessert was good, but a bit lack lustre in flavour and it wasn’t warm. My friends got the apricot chicken and the gnocchi, which they both enjoyed. Overall I had a good experience, and I would dine there again.

I attended Fare and was instantly greeted by multiple welcoming staff. On the patio there was live music creating an engaging atmosphere. Our server Shannon was exceptionally attentive, accommodating and kind. I ordered the Korean Nachos and they were fantastic. I would definitely return.

Gastronomic delight. Fare serves up tasty dishes and friendly service with a lakeside view. Stopped by for dinner and got: - Fried Chicken: Chicken was juicy, skin was crispy and not overly coated, portion size was good. The mash, generous veggies and sweet-spicy sauce were perfect complements. - Brisket: Beautifully smoky. Of all the sides, the potato pave was really fun. - Coconut Cheesecake: Strong coconut taste, not overly dense. - Watermelon Margarita: Refreshing, with a good balance of sweetness and tartiness. Great outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Prices are on the higher end but reasonable for what you get. Service is topnotch. Overall, a great spot to visit for an elevated casual meal.

A nice gem on the water that offers great food and ambience. Took our mother for her birthday lunch and we all had the fish and chips. The food and service were excellent. It was too chilly to sit on the patio but will come again and check it out. There were 2 resident white swans floating on the window just off the shore.

We were driving back from Muskoka and needed lunch before getting back to the city. Came across this lakeside restaurant in Orillia. Felt more upscale than your typical bar and grill with very decent cocktail list. We had Caesar and Margarita with a beer. Caesar was delicious - salt rimmed with two olives and a small pickle. One of the best I've had in a while! Was recommended the apple brie bacon melt and also, delicious. Swapped home fries for a salad which was plentiful and a great refreshing sesame vinaigrette. Really great. Parking was easy, beautiful lake view and a farmers market was taking place next door. Also conveniently had a water fountain / bottle fill up station. Turned out to be a wonderful afternoon with comfortable and great tasting food. Highly recommended!

Service was excellent. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was okay , there was not much selection especially for the cost. Restaurant was clean. Will not be returning not worth the money in our opinion. 3 star based off their hospitality, food maybe a 2.

Sat Aug 9/25: We had a special 2 for 1 coupon so it was a good time to try the Rama buffet for the first time! The custom-made pasta dish was made right in front of you with your chosen ingredients - delicious! The fried chicken, roasted potatoes and corn on the cob were good! Garlic bread was a bit "firm". Soft drinks and coffee/tea included. Desserts...yum. Enjoyed the lemon meringue pie, cupcakes, brownies, soft-serve ice cream with toppings. We will go again!

I took my wife out on a date night on a Saturday night. We had fun on the floor. After a few hours, we got hungry and decided to have supper. We lost track of time and it was near 9pm. For the price of their buffet we decided to try it. We were both hungry and excited to see what they had to offer. After looking through their selection, I knew we were going to be disappointed. The food was horrible. All was left was left overs. The presentation of the buffet was the worst that I've ever seen. Everything was not very appetizing. The service was good. We were asked how our meal was, we didn't say much and she knew that we were not happy. She was kind enough to apologize and we said it was not her fault, we should have known better. We don't go out very often and decided to have fun at Rama, but this truly ruined the evening for us. I can honestly say that we will never return to this casino. I know that we were dining near closing time, but for a major casino to offer this quality of food, they should be ashamed. Never Ever Again! It's not hard to see why Rama is longer the place to be.

Food was excellent- Shepard pie was amazing Thank you Thomas , Willam the Mac and cheese was delicious.Carrots were cooked nicely . Desserts looked amazing Well done Mya. Chef Derek thank you for your great hospitality. Our server went above and beyond Thank you Regan . Great job everyone.
Kim H — Google review
This buffet was 100$ for two people, half of the buffet displays that used to exist were filled with decorations where food used to be. The selections felt cheap and some specific things noted were a taco bar with no tacos, no mushrooms or onions for the meat, no hot pasta dishes, and the Asian food was largely stale, warm at best. On the plus the prime rip was good, and the wait staff were friendly. For the cost of this buffet though it really misses the mark and needs to offer more. I think I would have been more satisfied going to the Mandarin in Barrie before I hit the casino.
Ryan S — Google review
Buffet operates only on Fridays & Saturdays and went on Saturday for this visit. One of the fork was not washed properly and still had residual from the previous use. Not sure if things are getting washed properly.. Meat selections were great but salads were awful as they are either dried out or discolored. Only few vegetable options are with thin sliced carrots & coleslaw or grilled. Large selection of deserts. $32 per person and its worth it.

Located at Casino Rama Resort in Orillia, Ontario, St. Germain's Steakhouse is a favorite dining spot for those seeking high-quality steaks and seafood. The restaurant exclusively serves AAA Alberta beef for its steak cuts and prime rib, ensuring top-notch quality. In addition to the premium beef selection, guests can also enjoy the freshest seafood options along with gluten-free and vegetarian menu choices.
We stopped in at St. Germain’s before a show without a reservation, but since we arrived right at 5 when they opened, they were able to seat us—much appreciated, as it filled up quickly! The service from Andy was excellent; he was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. The appetizers were delicious and generously portioned, and all our beef/steaks were cooked perfectly to our preference. The food and drinks were fantastic overall, and we’ll definitely be back in the future!

Stopped in here after a work meeting and was pleasantly surprised! Obviously you would think that an establishment with high stakes and high rollers would have a decent selection of fine food and fine booze! This had all of that fine food fine booze but also great service! The only setback I had with my experience was the $46 additional lobster tail I ordered that was around the same size as one of the scallops on my scallop entrée.… If you’re going to charge $46 for a lobster tail it should be fairly significant. Other than that, I highly recommend this location, this is a review on the food but even though the rooms are a little dated they’re very large and comforting! Not a bad way to spend a weekend! Thanks again! Zeke

St. Germain’s Steakhouse at Casino Rama in Orillia offers an upscale dining experience with standout dishes and attentive service. The steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, showcasing top-quality ingredients and expert preparation. However, one of the lobster tails was disappointing, as it had a mushy texture that detracted from the otherwise stellar meal. A delightful surprise came when the staff presented us with beautifully boxed birthday brownies, each topped with a candle. This thoughtful touch added a personal and celebratory feel to the evening. Overall, a memorable experience with minor flaws, and the staff’s effort made it special.

Dined in the middle of the restaurant relocation, so it was as good as it would get. The food is average, but nothing that really stood out. With that being said the quality of fish and meat is very good, but some dishes need to be refined in how they are cooked.

Super nice service and just absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I've ever had. Very fast too. The chicken supreme, jumbo shrimp and salad are just incredible. Wow. Too good! 😊
Mollusk — Google review
I had a reservation for 7 pm yesterday. We were greeted and seated on time with very friendly service. We started off with white ciabatta and olive bread. We were hoping for a dozen oysters, unfortunately they were out of stock. The ambiance was fairly quiet with a few other tables that were already seated. We started off with two appetizer consisting of the Ahi Tuna and jumbo shrimp cocktail. The tuna was fresh. The shrimp was a good size, over cooked and chewy. For our main dishes we had prime rib, baked potato, asparagus and mushrooms. The prime rib was cut quite thick. I chose medium rare which didn’t taste right at all and I didn’t want to continue eating it. The texture and taste were off and it was incredibly dry. The asparagus came with only five pieces which were cooked well. The mushrooms were heavily salted and tasted off. The potato was cooked perfectly topped well. Over all the dinner was awful and I recommend eating at their buffet especially for the price of $230.00.

The service was exceptional. Regen, you were a delight and made my birthday celebration all the sweeter. Their bartender is legit and our drinks were amazing. The Caesar’s are a must try! I had the shrimp and he has the satay skewer - both were mini meals upon themselves. The Caesar salad was good and the steaks quite decent. I was gifted the most amazing birthday cookie in a wee box, which we enjoyed later. Their berry dessert, while beautifully prepared, was meh. Perhaps it tastes better when berries are more in season.
