Beautiful and well maintained garden featuring a small playground for children. It makes a good starting point for your exploration of the historical part of Ragusa, especially if you park your car at the adjacent paid parking area. Definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful park with impressive architecture and plenty of seating in the sun as well as in the shadows. Lots of cats, dogs are allowed and the cats are fine with it, no drama.

A lovely garden with amazing views of the valley below . You will find washrooms on the site . A good array of flowers but it depends on the time of year you visit . The site is well maintained and a great place for kids to play in the playground. Take a break and relax .

To go place when visiting Ragusa. You can park on nearby parking places. Be sure to pay the parking as there is lady comming regularly checking license numbers for valid ticket. You can see the whole park and go by walk to old city which is just next to it. Lot of cafeteria and restaurant and shops. This is the nicest park of Ragusa.

Now that is must see. Old, historical, with plenty of restaurants. We visit Ragusa in second week of July. There was few outdoor piano concerts witch was fantastic add to our tour around town. there is few parkings in walking distance from town centre.

Ragusa Ibla and the old town is a fabulous place to wonder around, there is lots of shops and cafes/ restaurants to enjoy. The ibla itself is worth a visit, some hilky parts but nothing to extreme, great views of Ragusa!

Intricate The Antico Portale di San Giorgio in Ragusa offers a striking glimpse into medieval history. This ornate 13th-century gothic doorway, all that remains of the original church, stands beautifully preserved in the sun. Near the Giardino Ibleo, it’s a quiet, scenic stop perfect for photos and adds a thoughtful moment of reflection on the passage of time.

Impressive but currently covered in scaffolding. Glad it is being protected and restored.

Superb monument. Looks great from all nearby streets. Wonderful backdrop to the town of Ibla. Do yourself a favour and go visit this church even if to only stick your head inside for a few minutes.

Beautiful church that leaves a lasting impression on you. It looks out over a square which is also a great place to hang for a while. There weren’t many people around so it was very pleasant.

Majestic Duomo sitting high above the square with a massive iron fence and gate. Impressive. As we passed through the square today, we noticed a wedding had just taken place, and the doors were open, and we ventured in. Breathtaking structure with a main altar surrounded by red velvet curtain. The side chapels are impressive by themselves with marble altars and huge paintings. The details inside the Duomo are worth the visit if you travel to Ragusa.

Ornate The Duomo di San Giorgio in Ragusa is a stunning example of Sicilian Baroque architecture, perched at the top of a dramatic flight of stairs. Entry is free, making it a must-visit landmark. The ornate façade and peaceful interior offer a memorable cultural and spiritual experience, with beautiful frescoes and intricate details. A true highlight of Ragusa!

A truly imposing church in Ragusa. It can be seen from the lower side of the square and gives you a sense of superiority. I visited it during Holy Week and also attended the rehearsals for the church organ. It is worth seeing. The place does not have a ticket.

A very nice tour through the ancient barroc old town of Ragusa. For only € 5.- one can enjoy an outstanding 35‘ sight seeing tour. It is definitely worth it. There many tours every day.

So, first of all, it doesn’t seem interesting. Because you already saw all of the places while getting to the “train”. It’s quite a poor experience - additional circuit around Duomo and little more. And if the train is full you wouldn’t know beforehand and would seat uncomfortably with 2 other passengers on a bench. Maybe right under the sun because there is no shadow for the half of bench. So maybe I’d recommend it for disabled people or family with small kids. But not for most adults.

Ragusa Ibla is such peaceful and beautiful late baroque town. Totally worth to visit and spend time walking though each corner of it.

This is the only one of the Barocco trains that displayed a passive aggressive and rude attitude towards its clients. First they tried to fit all 4 of us (adults) into a single row, if you see them you’d understand it’s not possible. When prompted to solve the problem, they were initially reluctant and then wanted to put one person on another random row.

This is a fun and easy way of exploring the town in the heat. You seat on the train and let it take you around the historical places and views around, while a recorded voice explains in Italian and English what you are seeing. If you keep the tickets, you can get a discount on the other trains in the other towns nearby.

Nice place to sit in the square but there are way better granita in Sicily. I understand the nice reviewers because of its location. In the beginning they did not treat us very kindly but later when we asked to fill the water it was better. Still we can’t give it a better review because of the quality of the stuff. Perhaps for a glass of wine it would have been better but I would not go back for what we had

As the name suggests, the ice-cream here is indeed divine, with creamy texture and rich and balanced flavour, while not overly sweet. They also offer some unique flavors, which we didn't found anywhere else, like a delicious wine gelato. We also had coffe, which was great as well. In addition, the gelateria has a cellar featuring a large wine selection.

Mind-blowing ice cream in Ragusa. Best I've had since I arrived in Sicily. I got 2x small cup with Liquorice & Olive Oil and Red Wine & Viola. Can't wait to come again soon! 🍧☀️🌵

Amazing location, great wines and an absolute gem of an Amaro: the capers Amaro (a very strong bitter). The owner is pleasant and the service is super friendly! Highly suggest also for an ice cream.

This place absolutely enchanted me with its jasmine ice cream! 🤩 There's nothing like it! I've never seen jasmine ice cream anywhere else in Italy. If anyone has, please let me know! 😋 It's like an Yves Rocher perfume, like the scent of jasmine melting on your palate in a summery setting. 😍🤪 We also tried it with onions, beets, and olive oil. It was so interesting! Trying these is something you should do at least once in your life.

This is the best gelato in Sicily and possibly all of Italy. There chocolate orange was super smooth, packed with flavour and not overly sweet, it’s the best chocolate orange I have had anywhere in the world. The gelato here is so good I went back and kept getting 3 scoop tubs until I had tried out their full range. Malaga was also like no other Malaga gelato Iv had and the raising in it were magical, and I’m not a Malaga or raising fan. Everything from this place is different to anything you have tasted before with lots of very unique combinations pumpkin with a crumble. If your in Sicily and a gelato / ice cream lover this is somewhere you HAVE to visit even if it’s just for the gelato. They staff are super nice and friendly also speaking English . The establishment has toilets and is a cosy place with out door and indoor seating

We couldn't wait to visit Risiu because of the great reviews and their cheese specialties. We came first after opening. We were first and only customers, but it took a while before the young lady stopped ignoring us and served us. Even when she came, she looked so strict I was afraid to order, her behaviour was like someone forcing her to do the job. Otherwise, food was amazing. Nicely arranged, fresh and delicious. I am taking one star off just because of the scarry service, I felt like in the school in old times where you have to sit straight and be quiet. Such a shame because the food is really good but I am not sure if I would come back because of the service.

We were recommended this restaurant by the hosts at our accommodation in Ragusa. All we knew going in was that the ingredients were sourced from local producers. We decided to give it a try — and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be. We ordered the largest tasting platter on the menu. When we asked for two of them, the staff kindly suggested that one would be more than enough. To our surprise (and delight), they were absolutely right. The portion was generous, perfectly satisfying for two people. But what truly left us speechless were the flavors — divine from the very first bite to the last. Every single element on the platter was bursting with authenticity and depth. The wine recommended to pair with it was heavenly — a perfect match that elevated the entire meal. The service was just as memorable. The staff made us feel genuinely at home, as if we were being taken care of by our own family. It was one of those rare moments where hospitality meets heart. This was a standout culinary experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. We’ll definitely return — even if it means traveling thousands of kilometers to do so. We had such a lovely evening here. The food, the drinks and the service were all tip top! Run by a really genuine couple, who make artisanal burrata (which you must try). An unassuming place, but it’s clear they understand flavour and that they care about the food and making your experience special. Highly recommend - particularly the warm ricotta - who knew!

All products on the ragusana tagliere menu are homemade by the owners, who also serve the guests. You can see pictures on the wall of the lady's mother, grandparents and son producing ricotta cheese. I've had the best ricotta here in my life and their strawbe jam is also divine. It's also a super affordable restaurant.

Lovely cafe for a lunch. We ordered a sandwich with mozzarella, pesto and mortadella and one with provola and parma ham. The ingredients were very fresh and everything tasted home made. The staff were lovely and attentive, checking in once we had received our food that everything was ok. I would also recommend trying their juices - they have a comprehensive speciality juice menu and we went for the blood orange and green mandarin juices.

Their ricotta and cannoli is PERFECT. I truly am at a loss for words, and that is not easy to accomplish. Fresh, balanced flavors and sweetness and absolutely delicious. Their cannoli is a MUST TRY if you are in the area. Bravo!!

Risiu Restaurant truly impressed me with its warm and welcoming staff who made the dining experience enjoyable. The affordable prices didn't compromise on the deliciousness of their dishes, especially the Scaccia Ragusana which was a highlight. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially during the bustling summer season, as the place tends to get quite busy. The restaurant's excellent wine selection perfectly complemented the flavorful meals, and their dietary offerings like ricotta catered well to various preferences. Notably, Risiu Restaurant also excels in its dessert offerings. The cannolo and ricottamisu are simply delightful, providing a sweet and satisfying conclusion to the meal. The restaurant's ability to deliver on both savory and sweet fronts further enhances its appeal, making it a must-visit for those seeking a well-rounded dining experience.

There was 3 of us and wanted something to tie us over until dinner . We ordered the Tagliere Biancomangiare. It was perfect, everything tasted great.

We came back again and again! The food and desserts here were so tasty, and great value for money! The service was lovely too. Would recommend the veg platter of traditional Ragusa food, as well as the pistachio icecream. This restaurant was a real highlight of our trip!

Wonderful food at great prices. Simple, not the most elegant but yet tasty decor and food. Couldn’t have made a better choice for lunch! I would eat here again anytime, and I’m sure it’s a choice of locals. Wonderful selection of granite, excellent cafe, and the pasta was absolutely perfect. They have a daily menu along with their regular menu which includes gourmet sandwiches. I chose a pasta of the day for 10 euro, paccheri con ragù e speck. I was too hungry to take photos of the food. But trust me; it was delicious!

In the main path of all tourists, it is always hard to find good food for a fair price; too many restaurants just don’t care, as most customers won’t come back anyway. This one does care, it seems! We liked the food and the service was good too.

Right on the old square beneath the cathedral making it a very picturesque place to stop for a bite to eat. But the Arancini is the star of the show, very tasty, very good, very nice.

Originally we only wanted to eat at La Piazzetta for one evening, but were unable to resist to eat there for a second evening. The waiters are very nice, helpful and yet very much in the background. The owner comes by briefly and welcomes you. The food comes at perfect intervals, without stress and tastes simply fabulous. These are authentic dishes which, according to the owner, are locally sourced and handmade wherever possible. A very clear recommendation!

A fantastic place with some of the best traditional Sicilian food I’ve had. The owner was very gracious, helpful, and entertaining. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the outdoor dining area in the piazza with a rustic fountain.

Four of us went at lunch, the service was good the owner was friendly and welcoming. The fried calamari was crisp and fresh, the pork was good . The portions were rather small considering the prices charged .

One of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend. Excellent food, impeccable service and amazing ambiance. We had the grilled tuna, orange and fennel salad and rigatoni with fennel and sausage ragu followed by cannoli.

I am giving this five stars even though the service is very slow and quite honestly not very good. The food, by far, more than makes up for the slow service and if you have a couple hours to spend in this quaint little village I strongly recommend you have the ravioli here. It may very well be the very best thing that you've ever eaten in your entire life. Also, be aware that they ran out of tiramisu for us to eat for dessert at 2:30 in the afternoon. I have to believe it is because the dish is so popular, every single plate I saw looked amazing.

There is a reason why this restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and it isn't just for its food (which is spectacular). From the moment we walked in till the moment we left both my partner and myself felt like royalty. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was second to none. There is no other word that one can use to describe the whole experience except for the word Immaculate. I had 3 course lunch. Everything was really good, what I expect from 2 star restaurant. Full of flavour, surprising, different textures. Pasta dish and small portions were the best. I'd only cook lamb a bit less.

Italian fine dining in the heart of Ragusa. You'll have an option to choose from few different tasting menus that take you through different re-invented italian dishes that showcase local fresh produce. You can opt for a wine pairing or select your favourite form a relatively thick wine list.

This was such a lucky find—just a very inconspicuous door, marked only by a Michelin 2025 sign and a menu sign next to it. I'm not usually someone who’s into gourmet dining, and yet I was completely blown away. I may have to seriously reconsider how I approach these things. We went in for the lunch menu and were served an appetizer, breadsticks, a selection of bread with olive oil, a three-course meal, dessert, and… a secondary dessert? I'm not sure what that's officially called. Every single item—despite often not being something I’d normally choose (like an olive appetizer with pistachio and other ingredients, lamb, or seafood pasta)—was so good I was honestly left a little bewildered how delicious it can be. The final surprise came with the coffee at the end (the official last course). I can honestly say this was the first time I truly enjoyed coffee, I drink it a bit out of necessity, but this was really first time I actually enjoyed it, and I’m now worried it’ll be hard to go back to Nespresso or office coffee. My wife had the chef-recommended sparkling wine as an aperitif and concluded she’d never had better. The service was excellent—every member of the staff was helpful, explained each dish and course in detail, and answered our questions with care.
