Casinos & Gambling
The Casino de Monte-Carlo is an elegant Beaux-Arts building that has gained fame through its appearances in film and literature. It offers upscale casino gaming, including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and slot machines. The casino is housed in a stunningly majestic 1800s building with turrets and cupolas that give it the appearance of a palace.
Visit before 12:00 and you can walk around the rooms listing to the audio guide for €20 per adult. It’s an amazing place to visit even if you are not gambling. If you wish to gamble you can return after 14:00 and access again or just turn up after 14:00. You will need a passport to access even when there’s no gaming. Enjoy a meal or a drink at the bar it’s a fantastic atmosphere.

Words don’t do this place justice. I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the architecture and internal design on the ceilings. Honestly it gets better the further in you explore. We opted to get a Casino ticket to have a look around and had a bit of fun on the slot machines. I just couldn’t stop looking up at the ceiling. The designs are honestly beautiful. It’s definitely worth seeing if you like a visual feast.
Sean G — Google review
It is a lovely and well decorated place. Yet, they have a 20€ entry fee which is completely ridiculous. They trade on their reputation. I have been to dozens of casinos in different parts of the world that have fine art, beautul decor, and they welcome you without a tourist fee. There are lots of slot machines which definitely detract from the ambiance. The views in Monte Carlos lovely.
Mike L — Google review
I only spend few minutes in front and got what I came for. Many nice cars passing around ! Just be careful not to block them and be respectful. The casino is also very beautiful from the outside, I haven’t tried my luck to go in.
Laurent F — Google review
A famous casino where many luxury cars are often parked in the plaza. To enter the main lobby, there’s a simple bag check. Inside, you’ll find a service counter — appropriate attire, a passport, and the minimum exchange amount for chips are required to enter the casino. The souvenir shop inside the lobby is also worth a visit. Good luck. 🎰

Nestled in the heart of Monaco, the Casino de Monte-Carlo is an iconic establishment that exudes elegance, luxury, and charm. Built in 1863, this architectural masterpiece continues to captivate visitors with its opulent interiors and world-class gaming experience. As you step into the grand lobby, you are greeted by a stunning atrium adorned with marble floors, ornate pillars, and a breathtaking chandelier. The ambiance transports you to an era of old-world glamour, reminiscent of James Bond films and high society gatherings. The casino boasts a variety of gaming options, including approximately 140 gaming tables featuring Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat, and Roulette. Both traditional and modern slot machines are available, ensuring there's something for every type of player. For those seeking higher stakes, exclusive gaming rooms cater to elite clientele. The staff at Casino de Monte-Carlo are professional and friendly, ensuring your experience is both enjoyable and memorable. Whether you're a seasoned gambler or simply looking to immerse yourself in the lavish atmosphere, the Casino de Monte-Carlo is a must-visit destination when in Monaco. Overall, the Casino de Monte-Carlo lives up to its reputation as a premier gaming establishment. Its elegant ambiance, top-notch gaming options, and attentive staff combine to create an unforgettable experience for all who visit.

It is very luxury place and The Casino de Monte-Carlo is a legendary entertainment complex known for its opulent Belle Époque architecture. Designed by Charles Garnier, who also created the Paris Opera, it features stunning frescoes, sculptures, and gaming rooms. Since its 1863 opening, the casino's success was pivotal in solidifying Monaco's wealth, allowing Prince Charles III to eliminate taxes for residents. The complex also includes the prestigious Opéra de Monte-Carlo. Immortalized in James Bond films like GoldenEye, the venue remains a glamorous destination, though Monaco citizens are forbidden from gambling inside.
Niraj K — Google review
It was an experience. Absolutely stunning architecture all over. So grand inside. A must visit place if in Monaco. The entire casino is so special. Monegasques are forbidden to enter , work or gamble here. Designed by the famous architect of the Paris Opera. Foreigners just need to pay a fee of Euro 20 ... 10 euro entrance fee and 10 euro voucher for a drink or u cud use the voucher to gamble. Please dress smart to enter. We did however win 11 euro just for fun. The building will be lighted up at sunset. Which makes nice photography shots. Also many beautiful supercars parked in front to add to yr beautiful photos. Remember to list this place in your bucket list.

The Prince's Palace of Monaco, a 13th-century residence, offers lavish state apartments that are open to the public seasonally. Monaco provides a stunning backdrop for romantic experiences, such as proposals, with its Mediterranean coastline and glamorous attractions like the Monte Carlo Casino. The palace is often included in sightseeing tours and shore excursions that also visit other historic sites and landmarks in Monaco. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views from the palace terrace while admiring Port Hercule.
I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the history of Monaco and it's monarchy. This palace is the seat of the royal family and still plays an active role in the government. They recommend purchasing admission tickets in advance online, but tickets can also be bought at the gift shop across the plaza. You will have to go though a security screening to enter the palace. The tour is self-guided, and an audio-guide in 11 languages is included with your ticket. An entire wing is open to the public, so allow at least an hour if you want to see everything. The audio-tour dives deep into the country's history, and I found it very interesting. Each room features beautiful artifacts, furnishings, and vivid information. Guide-led tours are also available, but must be booked in advance. If you plan to visit the nearby Oceanographic Museum on the same day, you can purchase a combo ticket to both for a reduced rate.

The Prince's Palace of Monaco is the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. It's built on a former fortress site from the 13th century. Parts of the original fortress still visible within its stone walls and towers. Due to lack of time could not visit the interior of the palace. But enjoyed the spectacular, panoramic views of the city, the harbor with the yachts, and the surrounding mountains from the location of the palace. Wonderful experience even without getting inside the palace. Highly recommend it.

Its a historic landmark offering stunning panoramic views of the city and harbor. Easily accessible by a short uphill walk, it beautifully showcases Monaco’s royal heritage and rich history. The palace courtyard and surroundings are open to visitors free of charge, making it a must-see attraction for anyone exploring the principality.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Place du Palais Princier – Monaco We didn’t go inside the palace, but the square itself is absolutely beautiful! Charming little streets with nice shops, bars, and restaurants — all at reasonable prices (especially for Monaco!). The view over the bay and the small yacht harbor is truly spectacular. It’s best explored on foot. At 11:55 a.m. you can watch the changing of the guard — quite fun to see, though it gets crowded and the area is roped off. Still, definitely worth a visit when in Monaco!
Alexander W — Google review
Saw the change of guards ceremony. It was worth the effort to go uphill and watch this. Also, the gift shop in the courtyard is very reasonable compared to other souvenir shops in the city. The view of Monte Carlo from the palace is breathtaking.

A must see if in Monaco! I took the Hop on & Hop off bus tour to the Palace and in my opinion is the best way to get up there if you're a tourist! I actually got off the bus twice at this particular stop because it is so SPECTACULAR! Best views of Monaco. This is not a place, it's a DREAM! It could get very windy but that's all part of the allure. If you're traveling solo, then a selfie stick is your best friend. You'll get AMAZING shots. Other than the Palace, there are a few small places to eat and some souvenirs vendors, oh there was like some changing of the guard kinda protocol that took place for a few.

Fairytale & Legendary Palace They do not come much better than the Palace of Monaco. On the seaside, with fantastic weather a few soldiers and canons to guard the entrance. This is it, really nice and really enjoyed our visit here. The change of the guards is also interesting & very nice to watch. Overall fantastic experience!

Parfumerie Fragonard - L'usine Laboratoire Èze is a must-visit attraction located near Eglise d'Eze, offering a captivating insight into the world of perfume production. Founded in 1926 and named after the renowned painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard, this perfume factory provides free guided tours that last approximately 30 minutes. Visitors can explore the development and manufacturing processes of various perfumes and cosmetics.
We had such a lovely time at the perfume workshop! Creating our own scent was a unique and fun experience, and the guide was friendly, patient, and very informative. It was fascinating to learn just how much thought and effort goes into making a perfume. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area who wants to try something different.
Georgia P — Google review
The tour was interesting and enjoyable. Our guide was kind and professional. However, the visit itself was quite short and there wasn’t much to see or explore. The highlight was definitely the olfactory workshop, where we got to create our own perfumes – a truly worthwhile experience. Overall, the visit focused mainly on time spent in the shop and promoting the products.

The Fragonard Perfume Factory, located in the picturesque town of Grasse, France, offers a truly unique and enchanting experience for visitors. As one of the oldest perfume factories in the region, Fragonard has been crafting exquisite fragrances since 1926 and continues to uphold its legacy of quality and innovation. A visit to the Fragonard Perfume Factory is an unforgettable experience for anyone who appreciates the fine art of fragrance creation and is interested in delving into the rich history of perfumery in the heart of France's perfuming capital, Grasse.

I loved the Tour, not to long but very interesting, it was perfect. And they are happy to answer all your questions about parfume/scents.

Visited the Perfumerie Fragonard Èze as a day tour from Nice. They provided a free guided tour of their facility to show the process of conversion of raw materials into perfumes, soaps, and other products. It was very interesting to observe the entire process. At the end tour we visited their store and purchased some products.
Soudamini M — Google review
The visit and perfume making is worth it. You can only reserve online, however. We were able to reserve online once there because they still had spots. Not sure it would be the case in the middle of summer. It was still very busy in October. Our guide, Magdalena, was amazing. Not only is her English impeccable but she conveys such pride to work for this family and maison. She was remarkable and the perfume making expérience is worth the stop. Their products are excellent. If you don’t know about them, you might find them expensive but once you know how they’re made, what goes in them and experience how they feel in your skin, you’ll become an instant fan.
Maya R — Google review
Somewhat of a tourist attraction, but fair enough, it's still interesting to go and spend some time if the weather is not suited for the beach. It's insane to actually understand how perfume is made from scratch, and they smell quite good. Avoid going with kids tho
Odolfus H — Google review
We visited this perfumery factory and got a guided tour. They explained the perfume history and showed us the manufacturing process. The staff was kind and the soft-selling was smooth. But the small 10ml decant bottle they sold is not transparent though, barely half filled, it felt as if they short changed us. Should be changed to a transparent bottle so the customer can see the liquid.

Eze village in France is perched on a cliff over 400 meters above the Mediterranean Sea, offering breathtaking views of the coastline. The town's buildings are arranged in a unique ladder-like fashion, with one side facing the sea and the other overlooking the mountains. Often described as an eagle standing on a cliff, Eze provides a panoramic view of the entire Mediterranean. This medieval town between Nice and Monaco boasts well-preserved historic architecture and attracts numerous tourists due to its stunning location.
Beautiful medievil village. A must visit when you are in Nice. But be prepared to walk a few steps. No cars in the village. Parking possible just outside town. Cute Shops and Cafés and a lot of talented artists around.
044bibi — Google review
Beautiful village atop a hill along the French Riviera - of course made worse by the hundreds of tourists attempting to get around is small streets and narrow alleys, but worth seeing if you can as it is a remarkable bit of structural history. The botanical gardens are the main thing worth visiting in the village.
Matt W — Google review
Fantastic Medieval Village, but the walk can be difficult for elderly visitors. There are hotels, shops, and restaurants along the way (a bit pricey), and the view is spectacular. We went on a Tuesday afternoon in September and it was quite crowded in some parts of the walk.
Carina K — Google review
Beautiful and fun to discover. I visited around 10:30am on a weekday at the end of September and it wasn’t too crowded. There’s a big parking structure near the entrance. Also bathrooms at the bottom of the hill (near parking). Lots of cute shops, restaurants and cafes. The main attraction is the garden at the top, offering panoramic ocean views. It’s simply stunning. You can buy the 8€ garden ticket online to avoid waiting in line on site to purchase. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk up lots of stairs.
Alan Y — Google review
The medieval village has an old patina and it is absolutely lovely to walk the narrow streets. But be prepared with lots of cold water and a hat or umbrella if you come during the Summer months, it is very steep to walk up there and you’ll get sweaty very fast.
Val V — Google review
We came to Eze on a weekday and arrived around 8am for sunrise and it was amazing to see. We had the whole village to ourselves. So quiet and peaceful. By 10am the tours start coming in and we had seen everything by this point.

What an amazing little village above the Mediterranean. We thought the outside bar was full, but the incredibly nice waiter/bartender ( I think his name was Axel ) said, "I've got a special little place for you" and we arrived to another terrace with incredible views. The wine and views are amazing, I highly recommended stopping in the Chateau Eze.

Guests can indulge in a romantic dining experience at one of Eze's Michelin-starred restaurants, including Chevre d'Or, while enjoying the stunning vistas.
An unforgettable experience. Once you reach the golden gates, you step into a world of magic. A Golden Village-Castle experience with THE VIEW! It's the view that might bring you but the experience is a multi- senses one. Rooms that must be experienced, food and drinks, (local bakery makes it all extra special), pools (with the iconic view), village restaurants walking distance... Much better than any online images or reviews.

We were both delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. It is well placed in its locality. It has unique features as if you stepped back in time. A master piece of excellence in its conversion. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. The food is awesome with a variety for most people and the dining settings offer an unparalleled view across the Mediterranean Sea.

Beautiful rooms with spectacular views of the bay below set in a medieval village 1400 feet above the sea. The access from the entrance to the reception is spectacular and highly landscaped with numerous seating areas and fountains. The only drawbacks were the door to our room was not numbered or lighted at night. The alleys you take to get to room are not well marked and can be confusing to navigate. Additionally these alleys are mostly uphill and have numerous steps so you must be in decent shape to stay or visit the village
Brooke F — Google review
It felt like staying in a castle until you open the door to your room which was complete with all modern amenities including luxury towels and bathrobes. The staff was lovely, helpful and accommodating. The best French Riveira experience we could have asked for.

Exquisite location with spectacular views. Great for 2-3 days, although the actual town is relatively limited for things to do. Best for a romantic adult getaway. The restaurants were excellent, as well as the cocktails at the bar. Staff very helpful and efficient. Only requests would be more frequent poolside service, with better cocktail options and maybe slightly less pricey at the pool.
Kostas C — Google review
I’ve never seen a more beautiful hotel / landscape in my life. The property is stunning, the rooms are lovely, and the service is top notch. The gardens are gorgeous. If you’re staying at the hotel, they absolutely take care of you at the bars/ restaurants. Only slight downside was how expensive food / drinks were relative to some of the other really great food we’ve had across the region. We will definitely be back!

Nestled in the heart of Eze's historic village, La Taverne d'Antan is a charming tavern known for serving delectable southern Italian cuisine. The restaurant's dimly-lit and medieval ambiance adds to its distinctive allure, making it a hidden gem in Eze. Guests can savor some of the tastiest risotto, wood-fired pizza, and authentic Italian dishes while dining in a vaulted medieval room or outside in a charming courtyard.

I will never come back to this place or recommend anyone to do so. I was discriminated against at multiple levels. A couple got there after two parties, second being me. The guy was pushing hard to be sit and the place was busy. He stand in front of all of us and the waiter proceeded backing him up. There were three tables, one for the bigger party and other two, one for the couple (French) and one for me. The guy rudely rushed to the shaded table (I mean no manners)and the only other table was on the sun. The waiter (Italian) told me I had to sit there if not I had to wait for another table. Never mind that who should had to wait for another table should had being them, I was there first . I couldn’t believe what had happened. Her tone and her rudeness left me speechless. The environment and personnel in this establishment are embarrassing. Meet the waiter. Disgrace of a human being.
H E — Google review
I had a deeply upsetting experience here with my mum, husband, and three children. We were waiting patiently for a table while several were clearly available. Shockingly, other guests who arrived after us were seated without hesitation — including a couple who pushed past and were accommodated immediately. When I politely questioned this, I was met with rude, dismissive, and aggressive behaviour from two staff members (ladies). They shouted at me, which left me in tears in front of my children. My 6-year-old was hungry, my elderly mother was struggling to stand, yet we were treated with complete disregard and no empathy whatsoever. It felt like we were being discriminated against — we were visibly ignored, spoken down to, and made to feel unwelcome. This is not just poor customer service, it’s unacceptable on every level. I will never return and strongly discourage anyone from visiting this restaurant. A truly shameful experience.
Deeba A — Google review
The restaurant is located in a cave-like / bunker-like which is interesting. Selection of food is good - a very authentic Italian menu. I like the tomatoes mozzarella salad, it has pesto on it and is yummy.

La Taverne is situated at village Eze and serves authentic Italian cuisine. It’s one of those hidden gem in Eze that doesn’t get much attention. The dining experience here is good; you get to dine in a cool cave-like environment, decorated with paintings and ornaments from the past. Food is solid but the service could be better. We had the pizza, risotto, linguine and ravioli. No complaints with the quality of the food. Come in early (<8pm) to avoid a queue. Diners will start streaming in after that.

Was it because I was hot and hungry that this meal hit so right? Maybe, but it sure was good. We sat at a table with umbrella in a corner of the walkway and it was just perfect.

No taste whatsoever… I know it’ll be hard to believe from us but we have eaten better Italian food elsewhere locally. Saying Italian because we ordered Pasta and Pizza. Even the Salad was bland. Pasta was seriously uncooked, far from being Al-Dante, and on top of that the guy had an attitude towards us I don’t know why! The ladies there were lovely and humble.

I ventured to the top of the village and explored several food and drink establishments, but found them to be ordinary and overpriced due to their location. However, upon descending onto the main road, I stumbled upon Restaurant Chez Hehe 合合酒家, a Chinese restaurant in Eze village. To my surprise, their cuisine was absolutely delightful, boasting delicious flavors in a clean and cozy ambiance.
Was in the mood of Asian food and this place was just perfect. Doesn't look much from outside but the food is absolutely tasty and feels original. I recommend it!!!
Adrian C — Google review
We went here for some lunch. It's definitely a bit on the pricier side but everything seems expensive and a bit of a rip off in the nice-eze area. The restaurant was relatively empty and the food came out quick. The Kung pao chicken although small was the highlight, the noodles felt like something straight out of a home kitchen so if you're looking for that it's okay, but it was a bit salty and didn't have the punch you're looking for when you eat out, the fried rice was unfortunately not good. Bland and the ham in it was over salted. The service was decent. Overall, I had an okay experience
Akash — Google review
The food was awful and the portions were tiny—it’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The green pepper stir-fried pork was half cold and half hot, and the overall taste was just terrible. What made it worse was a woman in her 60s or 70s who had an extremely rude attitude. When the dish was cold, the chef offered to replace it for us, but this woman insisted that we pay for two servings of meat (18 euros per serving) because we didn’t get her approval first. She also verbally attacked us throughout the ordeal. The entire experience was unpleasant, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone
蔡诗涵 — Google review
Overpriced, tiny portion and bad attitude. Definitely not recommending If you are here for a short visit. Stir Fried cabbage for 14euros for such tiny little portion is just rediculous. Food is not authentic either.
Shanzheng B — Google review
This restaurant partners with Chinese tour groups, so they don’t seem to care about retail diners. One female waiter in her 50s was extremely rude and I had the impression she was deliberately trying to pick a fight. I guinely think she must have had a poor life to be nasty towards strangers and there should be no place for her in any service industry. There is one young lad waiter though who is the complete opposite, friendly, helpful, and keen to provide decent service. I feel sorry for him for having to work with the nutty female waiter.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled near the charming city of Nice, Restaurant Le Mas Provençal is a floral paradise that captivates every visitor. The restaurant's unique decor features an abundance of vibrant flowers, including roses and orchids, creating an enchanting atmosphere where nature takes center stage. Each table is adorned with stunning floral arrangements, while exotic plants line the corridors, adding to the lush ambiance. Guests can even pluck fresh grapes and saint fruit from overhead vines—a delightful touch!
It’s an experience to have if you’re around. You’ll arrive and you’ll find all the decoration made weekly with natural flowers which I liked, you’ll have a fix menu for 136€ per person where you’re able to choose the entree, the main course and the dessert with an aperitif for start while you wait to order. Drinks aren’t considered in this menu. I found the food well done, it’s typical French food and very simple. If you’re waiting for innovation on the menu I wouldn’t recommend the place. There was live music for entertainment and all the servers were really nice to us. It’s a restaurant made for tourist even tho I live here I found it charming, and a thing to do one time to have the experience. It’s a beautiful place and very well done. I was shocked to read reviews after my experience that say that it smell bad which wasn’t the case and I’m a very complicated person with restaurants. I think if you know you’re paying for an experience rather than just food you’ll enjoy it very much.

Magic ambience, amazing decoration. With the price of the menu you pay the atmosphere, not the food or drinks. The food is ok, definitely not outstanding and the price range of the wines is way over the top. The cheapest wine was a middle class Sancerre for 76€. And you do not even get the obligatory „carafe d‘eau“ for free as normally the French restaurants are obliged to serve. This was just a little sour taste. Otherwise it is a special place and worth a visit.

Wonderful, unique and quirky place. The food is good but most importantly the venue is super unique full of fresh flowers replaced weekly. Live music and overall great atmosphere with the owner chatting to customers and his daughters running around. Quite expensive but frankly like anything in the South of France. Deserves 5 stars alone for being such a gem in the world full of restaurants all looking the same.

A magical interior with loads of character and a cinematic atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond to make the experience unique with music and charm. You'll never experience another restaurant quite like it. My only qualm is with the menu; prior to 9pm you are forced to order a set menu with a minimum of 130 Euro per person (yikes) even if you dont want all the courses. The food itself i would say is average, but if its in your budget you'll quickly forget about the costs just by looking around. Worth it overall!

Atmosphere 100/10 Friendly& welcoming staff 😍 The restaurant is elegant and full of fresh flowers , it smells amazing😍 The staff were super nice and the whole experience was really nice The live musicians were so fun and kind🙏
A S — Google review
The biggest tourist trap on the coast. 136 euros for a 3-course of mediocre food. Served by a condescending waiter. The musician was friendly and enthusiastic, and was basically the only bright spot. The whimsical, imposing decor and the strong aroma in the restaurant are not what I’d want to experience again either.

This was a dining experience I will never forget. The second I walked in, I felt like I fell down the rabbit hole into Wonderland… it is truly the most charming and aesthetically pleasing restaurant I have ever been to, such a stunning feminine touch to it. The set menu is divine. I ordered the veal and risotto as seen in the photos. The live music is very entertaining and the musicians will go from table to table to sing for you. The service from the waiters is excellent. A must-visit on your south of France trip!!!!

I’ve never been in such a beautiful restaurant. The fresh flowers made an amazing experience. We’ve had a night to remember!! The owner was super friendly and told us amazing stories about the restaurant. The waiters are unbelievably friendly and funny ! And the pianist made us laugh dance and sing. If you are at the French Riviera you have to go here!!

Snack Saint Laurent

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Without a doubt, the best lunch I had so far on this trip. Don't be put off by location, it's actually very nice and our lady server was very accommodating to our vegan member of the group. I had croque monsieur, the best for a very long time. Not greasy, just tasty . Fries good too. I should mention Jerome of BESTROADTRIP. FR, suggested this place. He was so right. The queues in Monaco were horrendous and busy. This was so much relaxed and was a welcome break. I recommend his tour too. Look him up.

The salad niçoise was fresh and crunchy and tasty, and the hamburger was also fresh and well cooked. This was a good lunch stop between seeing Monaco and Èze.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere at fair prices. Located directly at the Basse Corniche, this place is worth a stop. Menu is small but good choice. There's a daily special. Meals are simple yet very tasty. Service is friendly and swift. All seats are outside and in the shade. Parking is very limited

It’s actually first time when I’m leaving review. We had the best experience at this place. We ordered 2 cesar sallad, one tomato mozzarella and ciabatta “cannibal”. Everything was fresh and tasted good. Waiter was super nice so service was excellent. Small place near the road but you never expect this to be so good. Thank you so much “Snack Saint Laurent”.
