The Indianapolis Zoo, located in White River State Park, is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Spanning 64 acres, it houses over 3,800 animals from various species. Visitors can explore a wide range of exhibits featuring rare and endangered creatures such as white rhinos, Amur tigers, Guinea baboons, red pandas, and Komodo dragons. The zoo offers interactive experiences including live feedings and trainer shows that appeal to all ages.
What’s not to love about the Indianapolis Zoo? Having a membership for two years now, my family has fully experienced all the finest parts of the zoo over and over again. The membership pays for itself after only two visits a year, and we’ve gone at least 10-12 times each year. From ZooBoo to Christmas at the Zoo are the iconic ones, but the times during the weekdays when there are no field trips or herds of children are the best for my part-time home wife. My daughter has fed giraffes, pet kangaroos, had her face painted and ate Dippin’ Dots on her birthday, rode the train, watched dolphins splash her, gave high-fives at the plexiglass at the orangutangs, smelled flowers, asked why Flamingos are pink, and almost has a visual map in her head of the entire park. Have I mentioned she just turned three years old? My son is 9 months old, and he’s had a handful of times already at the zoo, and the amount of experiences the zoo has provided has sustained into our home with imagination zookeeping, making animal noises, reading out of picturebooks her favorite zoo animals, and instead of “Old MacDonald had a farm” it is now “Old MacDonald had a zoo!”. As a former educator for 15 years, I have witnessed students who have had experiences outside of the home greatly enrich their education and their overall social capital. Having my daughter exposed to so much of the world in the middle of the heartland of Indiana, through the Indianapolis Zoo, I know that she will find her passions in helping conserve and create a better world for the next generations with the education she’s learning here. I am inspired to continue inviting her into these spaces, and I look forward to seeing the wanderlust my son will have for these escapades to the jungle and prairie and everywhere in the park. If I could give 10 Google reviews with 5-stars, I would give so much emphasis on how essential it is to get a membership, show up and provide the story of the Indianapolis Zoo to embed into your children, and watch them become fuller with each visit. And you, as the parent of course, can have unlimited soft drinks while you mosey! THANK YOU, Indy Zoo! You have members for life!

What a great experience, went during the week, less crowded. It was our first time at the zoo. It was gorgeous. I loved all the places that you can and just sit and observe the animals. The park was so clean. I can't say enough great things about the staff, they were so kind and offered up all the events coming up at the zoo. You must take the time to visit the chimpanzees and the orangutans. They so much room to move around, you always have to be on the lookout. Love Indianapolis zoo can't wait to go back.

We took the kids to the Indianapolis Zoo during a weekend trip, and it was a great time all around. The place is huge — you could easily spend half a day wandering around without realizing it. We saw all the big hitters: elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, and a bunch of others that I’m pretty sure my kids renamed halfway through (“Look, it’s a long-necked horse!”). We splurged on feeding the giraffes and flamingos, and it was totally worth it — the kids were thrilled, and we got some great photos out of it. We also took them on the little rollercoaster, which they absolutely loved (and which gave us a much-needed break from walking). The dolphin show was definitely the highlight — entertaining, well done, and a nice break from all the walking. The zoo was packed since the weather was perfect and they were handing out candy to kids dressed up for Halloween, so it had a fun, festive vibe (and a sugar-fueled chaos energy). We grabbed some food from one of the stalls expecting the usual overpriced “theme park” meal, but honestly? It wasn’t bad at all. The fries, chicken tenders, and nachos actually hit the spot — maybe we were just starving, but still, solid effort. All in all, 4 stars — great experience, awesome for families, and bonus points for not charging $20 for fries. Just be ready for crowds if you go on a nice day!

I've been to a handful of zoos in my life. The Indianapolis Zoo is my favorite that I've been to. The layout made for a wonderful experience as we moved from one exhibit to another. I also think the gardens and foliage planted along all the exhibits really added to it. We went on a Wednesday in the middle of August. Crowds were light which made for an easy viewing of all exhibits. All the animals were active. Watched the cheetahs chase each other around. Then we were lucky to see them get feed raw meat by the zoo keepers. The dolphin show was fun. The tropical bird and butterfly enclosures were awesome to walk through. I'd highly recommend making this zoo a destination if you visit Indianapolis.
Mr. W — Google review
Go now, in October, it is decorated beautifully. I love going. Landscaped and waling layout gives you curvy trails of shade and quiet areas to enjoy seeing the animals. The plants are amazing, such a variety. The front had the cutest Halloween/October themes. If you are a Purdue employee, check out the deep discount, buy it now and use it any day. Everything is just beautiful.
Crystal B — Google review
Loved the place. Went with my baby and he absolutely loved all the animals. Even got to see some animals we never thought we'd see in our lifetime. Also great to talk with the zookeepers as they really care about the animals and the wellbeing of their species

✨ As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love working at the Indianapolis Zoo! Not only are the grounds stunning—with so many unique backdrops that make wedding photos truly magical—but the staff is also incredibly kind and helpful to work with. From start to finish, they were organized, welcoming, and made the day run so smoothly—not just for the couple, but for us vendors, too! There’s something so special about celebrating a love story surrounded by nature, and the zoo offers that in the most beautiful way. It’s a one-of-a-kind venue, and I always look forward to capturing weddings here! Highly recommend for couples looking for a venue that’s both elegant and fun!

Hands down, middle of the week mornings are the best time to go. The Zoo has made so many improvements, and is looking amazing. With that comes the constant construction. However, its is 100% worth the minor inconvenience. If this is your first time considering the Zoo, DO IT ! Definitely top of the list things to do with the kiddos. The outdoor event center is absolutely stunning, and provides an abundance of shade for relaxing under.

White River State Park, located in the heart of downtown, is a sprawling urban park along the banks of the White River. It features a diverse range of attractions including a zoo, amphitheater, and cultural venues such as museums and theaters. Visitors can enjoy activities like strolling along the riverside trail or exploring the canal walk with options for gondola rides and paddleboat rentals. The park also houses Victory Field, home to minor league baseball's Indianapolis Indians.
Wow, I happened upon this park at the recommendation of the front desk at the hotel I was staying at. Walked around 3 miles or so of the surrounding canal walkway and park area. The area is absolutely gorgeous and extremely well maintained. Being from Cleveland, it was fantastic to see how this park was set up and how the canal path ran through the heart of downtown. Loved being able to sight see while exploring. All the museums and art areas were easily accessible as a result of how the walkway was laid out.

White River State Park is extraordinary! It truly stands out among Indianapolis's many green spaces, and we had a beautiful Sunday afternoon exploring it. The park boasts stunning lawns, serene water features, the river, a lovely pedestrian bridge, public art, and picturesque views. We especially enjoyed walking our dogs along the promenade near the zoo. Plus, its location is incredibly convenient, offering easy access to numerous other attractions like the ballpark, museums, and the canal. You could spend hours here and still not cover it all. In terms of parking, there is an underground parking garage immediately next to the park.

It was a nice river walk. It would have been even better if we had found a coffee shop or some food places and test area near the canal.

I absolutely love White River State Park and the Amphitheater! Always clean, always professional and willing to assist with needs and wants, both in phone contact and on the premises. High Velocity is a vibrant sports bar located at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, offering a lively and group-friendly atmosphere. The venue features numerous high-definition TVs, a multi-dimensional media wall, and an up-to-the-second sports ticker, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts to catch their favorite games. In addition to its impressive entertainment setup, High Velocity also offers an excellent American grill menu with options such as steaks, salads, and crafted cocktails.
We were visiting from out of town and needed a bite to eat after a long day at the zoo. The staff was super friendly and attentive without being too there. The waitress recommended the cider I tried and it was delicious. I got the grilled cheese sandwich and would recommend it. My husband enjoyed his burger and the kid's chicken tenders were great. An easy place to grab drinks and a bite to eat!

I stopped in for breakfast while in town for a convention. The food was wonderful. It was nice and quiet. Very peaceful diner. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Presentation was amazing. Food tasted great and was out quickly. The food was Absolutely wonderful. The tomatoes were sweet and there was a saltines from the bacon that was perfect. The service was prompt, and the server was polite and helpful. I can’t wait to try something else on the menu tomorrow! Definitely would recommend you are at the Marriott.

I was staying at the property flew in late did not really want to go anywhere and the menu looked pretty good. So aside from eating dinner here I also sat at the bar a couple times. It’s a great venue for watching sports. My server was amazing and made good recommendations and I was impressed by the Ruben. Overall, the food and service are good and of course they have drinks that doesn’t hurt.

We went based on the reviews and were very impressed with the food and service. We had Cobb salads, Taco salad and fish/chips. No complaints about anything. The bacon on the Cobb should be an appetizer option. Well done!

I'd give the service more stars if I could!! My mom and I came in for dinner, and were very impressed. I had Fish and Chips, and my mom had the Short Rib Tacos and we had delicious drinks!! Courtney was our server and was an absolute gem of a human!! They were delightful, gave excellent recommendations, and were so sweet! We come here on a yearly basis for a few days, and we'll definitely come back because of the food and because of Courtney!!!

We were traveling from Dallas, High Velocity was connected to our hotel (Courtyard Marriott) so it made dining convenient! We were able to walk through the connected hotels to get there! Fun! After a long drive on the road, the atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and amazing service; we couldn’t have ended our evening better! John our server was so knowledgeable in the menu, food, drinks, and so personable! We felt like his only table! He even thanked me by name for dining with them! I’ll never forget that dining experience! If you’re in Indianapolis, High Velocity is a must!
Connie K — Google review
Have to be honest - this place was terrible. Drinks order was placed. Took forever (1000 pm) 10 minutes later I asked “Josh” if I could get the Diet Coke I ordered. He responded with “I have other people in front of you. You’ll just have to wait. I can’t put you in front of everybody else.” Given the hostile atmosphere we left. Would not recommend to anyone. Spoke to Leana who was nice and offered us another treat, but given the hostility from the other service member “Josh” we declined and left for another late night establishment. Only visit if you want to play Russian Roulette with the service members (“Josh”) and risk being shouted at when your orders are delayed. Recommend Lobby Bar across the lobby. High velocity is risky. Very disappointed.

Italian restaurant
OP Italian, located at JW Marriott, offers a modern dining experience with a sleek space and glass-enclosed wine room. The restaurant serves rustic Italian cuisine with made-from-scratch pastas, seafood, pizza, and meats. Diners can enjoy classic dishes like Pizza Margherita and Tagliatelle Bolognese or opt for more adventurous options like Faroe Island Salmon with lemon caper piccata sauce.
My mother and I were downtown for a concert at Everwise Amphitheater and enjoyed dinner at OP Italian. Our waitress, Brooke, was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and flavor profiles. She made ordering and trying new things a breeze! She really made the whole meal and experience! The food was made with fresh ingredients and had great taste. The wood fired pizza was a little soggy in the middle for my liking, but I would recommend it still and definitely eat it again. If you need a restaurant close by for your next concert or just want a fun experience, I highly recommend OP Italian!

Food was great, legitimately great. However Atmosphere was crazy loud for how few people were there. Martinis were very excellent, with one exception … the olives in the martini were not great. They were small and mushy.
Jeremiah F — Google review
We came during a very busy conference time when I'm sure they were slammed and we still got great service. Brooke was so kind and accommodating with us (the sun was shining right into one of our eyes from the reflection of a building and she and the manager solved it). We enjoyed cocktails, shared the garlic bread, burrata, and meatballs, then ordered a lot of pasta that was all amazing and pizza (mushroom truffle pizza had SO MANY mushrooms on it, and note that the ricotta has a lemon flavor so if that's not your palate preference you may want to choose something else), then we split the tiramisu and triple chocolate cake that were perfect.

Deirdre was our waitress and she was excellent. She made great suggestions. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved everything we ordered.

Such a great experience at the bar before a Pacers game. Excellent selection of drinks, and the best service from Ryan! Drinks were the perfect amount of strong. There was a guy set up in the lobby area playing guitar and singing - such a wide variety of music. So enjoyable and fun. Everything was extremely clean. Definitely recommend!

Dailyn Dailyn !!! She was marvelous… pleasant smile knowledge and fantastic service. Highly recommend the mushroom pizza!! TOO GOOD ate left overs for breakfast 🤪. Dailyn recommended a vanilla bean dessert. I wanted to lick the ball perfect texture, light packed with flavor. I forgot to take pictures when our food initially came out could only snap my leftovers. That’s how good it was. In town for NFL combine look forward to returning.

Thank you to our server, Brooke, and OP Italian for an excellent meal and excellent service! We are only here for a short time for a conference, but Brooke made us feel right at home. She gave us great recommendations on what to order and the food was spectacular! Loved the dessert and coffee especially - the experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Museums
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis stands as a beacon of creativity and learning, proudly holding the title of the largest children's museum in the world. This vibrant destination is packed with interactive exhibits that captivate young minds, from exploring dinosaur bones in Dinosphere to immersing themselves in a recreation of modern Greece complete with charming sidewalk cafes. Visitors can enjoy a delightful ride on a historic carousel or gaze at the stunning 43-foot Dale Chihuly glass sculpture that greets them at the entrance.
Wonderful adventure! First, I was kind of shocked at the cost of admission. As an IN resident on a Monday, it was $98 for me and my 2 children to get in. Once inside, I was much more understanding! I'll be applying our admission today towards a membership! 5 levels (LL, and 1-4) plus the 7+ acres of outdoor fun! The take-a-break room was fantastic for us when we got sensory overload from the lights and noise and people, specifically after lunch. Speaking of which... cost me $52 for 2 slices of pizza ($6.75 each), 2 breadsticks ($5.50), a salad ($16!), and 3 fountain drinks ($16.85). I expected some fairly high prices but the $16 for a salad and the same price for 3 fountain drinks threw me for a loop. Next time, we'll head out for lunch and come back. 😅 Overall, though, the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are worn out. If you're planning to do all of it in 1 day... don't. We arrived at 11:30 am and at 4:41 pm. We really rushed through after lunch when we realized we still had 2 levels and the outdoor area to still get to. They do offer "second day" passes for cheaper than general admission, but that would've still been another $50 for the 3 of us. With the bottom-tier family membership at $225, 2 visits and it's basically paid for itself!

From the second you see the gigantic dinosaur cracking the building open from the car, it is an amazing experience. Every floor is absolutely packed with amazing exhibits. Things for children and parents, nostalgia at its best. On top of the amazing and beautiful exhibits, they have so many things for little children to do. The playscape is a life saver for kids who need to get some energy out. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They are so open to nursing mothers and mothers with small babies in general when it comes to feeding, relaxing, changing. 100/10 recommend. I'd go even if I didn't have kids with me.

Very good and large museum for all ages of children. It's interactive and knowledge sharing for children. It's great place to take your children here. You must have enough time in hand to see indoor as well as out door facilities. Nicely made museum.
Sukumar S — Google review
This was probably the highlight of our trip! We spent 6 hours here and recommend planning for a full day here. We bought tickets in advance and took a look at all the exhibits ahead of time so we weren't overwhelmed on where to start. This museum is great for families with kids of all ages. It is super stroller friendly with the ramp to get from one floor to another. You were never more than a tiny walk to a bathroom, great diaper changing areas, water bottle refills, and benches. The Playscapes area was great for our toddler to run around and burn off some energy. All three of our kids loved the outdoor sports exhibit! They played hockey, baseball, football, basketball, took a lap around the mini speedway, and climbed through the tree! This place has it all. The cafeteria was excellent for lunch and has a highchair. Lots of great learning and core memories made here! Cannot recommend enough!
Jenna W — Google review
Great immersive museum for children. There’s areas for babies and under 5 and then areas meant for kids 8-9+ and plenty for adults to see as well. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold so we missed the outside sports area, but it looked very fun. The blown glass sculpture and water clock were were impressive, as were the large dinosaurs inside and outside. Free parking was great, but I wish adult admissions weren’t so expensive or perhaps a discount for second parent to offset the price. It was around $90 for our family of 3. If we lived closer we’d definitely become members.
Mike V — Google review
The 3 little ones and some family really had an amazing time at the Museum. They were able to create(color) their own dinosaur and watch it come to LIFE! They tried the outdoor sports center and went up the huge treehouse! Enjoyed playing music and seeing all of the different exhibits. They had a great time and absolutely LOVED it!
Sabrina J — Google review
Super cool experience and highly recommend! Going on Thursdays at 4 pm will get you a big discount on tickets. Is a great place for children to be children and explore a safe space where everything is touchable.

My family has always wanted to try this museum but the timing never worked out until yesterday! We went on a summer weekday when some Indiana schools were already in session. We went with 4 adults and three kids ages 4, 9 & 11. We bought tickets in advance and parked in the free covered lot. Entry was a breeze and my kids immediately found activities to interest them. We ate at the museum and the food was good (better than many other museums) and very good choices. Prices seemed fine. We were busy from 11-3 and then had to leave but missed two floors! I think my 11yo might be aging out but anyone into sports or solving mysteries would still love it! I would go back! The special Peru exhibit was our favorite, followed by the sports area and the Rube Goldberg Machine.

The ever changing gardens are an Indy highlight. Love the October and December light events. Cocktails outdoors while walking and enjoying make it extra special. Fun for families and an annual tradition for ours! The exhibits indoors are fun to try on Sundays. Yes, sports in Indy are important too, but so are culture, history and ART!

One of the highlights during a recent visit to Indianapolis. Even as adults, we were delighted by the interactive displays. And, despite light rain, our walk around the grounds was wonderful. Then, of course, there is all the amazing art. Our meals in the cafe were tasty and pricing was on par with other area options.

The market is renowned for its delicious sandwiches, particularly the namesake sandwich crafted with Italian cured meats and other delectable ingredients.
I love this place to bits. I think they have best sandwiches in Indianapolis by a long shot. I’ll take the Goose Sandwich any day of the week and they also provide quick and warming service. I recently tried the butcher’s and the meats were phenomenal. I love everything about this place and thank you for such great service!

the food and selection there is amazing but the service definitely needs some work. i wasn’t greeted once or even asked how can we help you. it was my first time in there and i was just standing trying to understand the menu while the workers carried on their own conversations quite loudly. it was like no one had even walked in! the restaurant doesn’t have a spirit to it which is so sad as it is a local based restaurant which offers breads from local bakeries, fresh herbs and such. you would think the community aspect of their business would show up in their service too. i have friends who go their regularly but it’s not like they are regulars because the staff doesn’t interact much and isn’t super friendly. a kind interaction + a great sandwich would make this place 5 stars

From one week to the next, their sandwiches are half as big as they used to be. They did not lower the price, however. Two bites and you finish one half. If you are hungry, you will need to buy two sandwiches.

First timer today, my partner brought me in to try the Batali sandwich he raves about and it was great! What a lovely little place to stop in and grab some unique treats. Next time I’ll try the gelato and a coffee.

I’ve had some incredible food here: a whole beer smoked chicken and their carrot cake gelato are things I still think about years later. Sandwiches are tasty. However I do think it’s overpriced, even for the quality. It doesn’t keep me from coming back, but it keeps it from being a regular spot. Also, the butchers are always friendly and helpful, but I’ve never had a good experience with the cashiers. Almost every interaction I’ve had at the register has felt like I’m bothering the staff with my patronage. This spot could easily become a great neighborhood joint, but the price and unfriendliness are probably the two things keeping it from being all that it could be.

The Deli: Upstairs, the experience is bright, friendly, and delicious. A wide selection of unique sandwiches with high-quality meats and cheeses. The muffaletta is a must-try. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly takes pride in the food. The Bar: Descending a set of stairs transforms the atmosphere. The cellar is a hideaway with a completely different vibe, perfect for unwinding and conversations. The wine/beer selection is varied but focused.

Very disappointing visit today. First problem - there's a cash discount that's not clearly stated on the menu. Only when I went to pay did I see the difference in price. Just feels sneaky because it would take five seconds to write "cash price" on the displayed menu or post a note about a credit card fee at the register. Second problem - I ordered a Batali and it was made with the wrong bread. Apparently Amelia's wasn't open yesterday so they couldn't get the usual bread and that's fine, it happens. Here's my problem - I didn't know this until I got home and started to each the sandwich! Even more shocking was that the bread they used instead was akin to a grocery store hoagie roll...very mushy and not able to stand up to the ingredients on the sandwich. What I can't figure out is why they didn't mention this when I ordered the sandwich?? When I returned it the woman explained that the bread wasn't available, but why did they have the sandwich on the menu without an asterisk or note? Makes me wonder what else they don't mention...If they wouldn't warn me that something so obvious about the sandwich had changed, what less noticeable alterations are they making? Disappointing for a $12 sandwich.

One of our go-to spots for a quick bite! We love the OG goose sandwiches and sometimes switch it up. They have fresh meats and a great variety, highly recommend.

American restaurant
Tinker Street Restaurant is a popular New American eatery located on East 16th Street in Indianapolis. It offers a warm and upbeat setting with a patio, serving an array of wines, brews, and seasonal dishes. The restaurant has successfully combined elements of fast casual and fine dining to create an inviting atmosphere for its patrons. Despite facing challenges such as controversy and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Tinker Street has emerged with renewed purpose and grace.
Have much nostalgia going to Tinker Street back in 2017 on a date (with my now spouse) - that when we ended up visiting Indy to walk down memory lane we just had to try it again. Did not disappoint - even after 8 years this restaurant is a testament to consistency and quality. Started with the summer salad which was fresh and delicious. Got the Salt of the Earth cocktail to pair -super interesting and deceptively strong. Got the crab scampi and black cod as mains. Scampi was delicious, and the cod was truly special-most tender and buttery fish I have ever had - the texture is just on another level. For dessert, our waitress recommended the Pavlova, which was absolutely the right call - just a beautiful fruity palate cleanser; which I subsequently washed down with an equally phenomenal espresso martini. Long live Tinker Street - would love to come yet again whenever we get a chance to do Indy again.

4-Star Review for Tinker Street Tinker Street nails it with exceptional service and solid food in a cozy, intimate setting. The restaurant is definitely on the smaller side—think charming, not cramped (unless you’re claustrophobic, then… maybe charming and cramped). The food? Good. Not “write home to grandma” good, but definitely “text your foodie friend” good. Creative flavors, nice presentation, and portions that won’t leave you hangry. Now, let’s talk about the unsung hero of the night: the Water Guy. I don’t know his name, but this man treats hydration like a calling. I swear I never saw the bottom of my glass. He refilled it like he was defusing a bomb—calm, precise, and absolutely not here for your thirst. Give that man a raise. Or a cape. Only odd thing? The bathrooms are just a few steps from the kitchen. Not a huge deal, but it’s a little weird when your path to the restroom feels like you might accidentally be mistaken for a sous-chef. Overall, a great experience. Come for the food, stay for the water.

TLDR: Finally tried Tinker Street after years of hearing great things. The staff were wonderful, but in my opinion the food felt confusing at times and didn’t quite justify the price. This review focuses mostly on the food and reflects my own taste and experience. Everyone’s palate is different, and since the menu changes often, your visit could feel completely different. After living in Indianapolis for five years since moving from New York City, I was excited to finally see what all the hype was about. I had always hesitated because the prices seemed a bit steep, but we decided to give it a try with a 5:45 pm reservation. We were first seated behind the hostess counter. The area felt a bit tight, which didn’t bother us much, but the direct sunlight streaming through the front door made it difficult to sit comfortably. The staff immediately helped us move to a better table, which we really appreciated. The menu was creative and playful with strong fusion influences, so we ordered a variety of dishes to get a fair sense of the food. The Korean Fried Mushrooms ($22) were crispy and flavorful, but the small rice flour pancake underneath seemed unnecessary. It wasn’t seasoned and there was only one so not enough to wrap the mushrooms and felt out of place. We both thought a light dipping sauce would have brought the dish together better than the kimchi served alongside. The Coconut Curry Soup ($12) was warm and pleasant but not especially memorable. The Whipped Pumpkin Ricotta ($22) from the fall menu was something I wanted to love, but it was heavy on cinnamon and tasted more like pumpkin pie filling than a savory dip... it was confusing. The Circle City Sweets baguette served with it was excellent, though it was the same baguette offered with the Fried Brussels Sprouts ($23). Fried brussels sprouts and baguette felt like an odd pairing. It seemed like the bread was included just to fill out the plate for the price. For our mains, we ordered the Curried Cauliflower Steak ($29) and the Shrimp and Farfalle ($34). The cauliflower dish was disappointing. The rice was undercooked, the potatoes were too firm, and the cauliflower itself wasn’t tender inside. It also had an overwhelming amount of pomegranate molasses that made it intensely acidic. The first bite was all sour with no balance, and the sauce tasted almost identical to the soup we had earlier, which didn’t help. The dish was so off that neither of us could eat it, and we decided to send it back which is a first for us. The staff kindly offered a replacement, but we were too turned off by the flavors and declined. The Shrimp and Farfalle was much better. The shrimp had a beautiful char and were juicy and flavorful. The pasta was a little mushy and some pieces stuck together, but overall this was one of our favorites of the night. For dessert, we tried the Ricotta Doughnuts ($12). They came out warm and the texture was slightly dense but not bad. We've had better ricotta doughnuts. The espresso ice cream they were served with though, was fantastic. What really made the evening positive was the staff. They were kind, professional, and attentive the entire night. When we declined a replacement for the cauliflower dish, they took it off the bill and even removed a few other items, likely because of the earlier seating issue. In our opinion, several dishes missed the mark, especially for the high prices, so expect to spend if you go. We felt that we paid a premium for food that didn’t fully deliver on flavor or execution. There were definitely some highlights, but overall the experience didn’t feel worth the total cost.

Such a great and unique menu and restaurant. Everything our group had was absolutely phenomenal and truly so much depth to the taste of the food. PLEASE do yourself a favor and make sure you get the ricotta doughnuts for dessert! To die for !!!

I was visiting my son and his partner in Indy, and they took me to this beautiful restaurant for a belated birthday meal last week. I had the duck confit, which was fantastic, as were all our food choices. The ambience was beautiful, food was delicious. But I am mainly writing because the service was among the best I've ever had! Thank you Sarah Wicker, you were amazing! Thank you for guiding all of us with our food and (especially) wine choices. Your knowledge, professionalism, sincerity and kindness were incredible. You helped make this such a memorable evening for all of us. Thank you so much!!

Everything about this place screams "upscale local joint". The number of regulars I saw interacting with the staff while here was very wholesome and a little mind-boggling. Shout out to Lily & Sara (sorry if it's the wrong Sara) for taking care of me all night. The staff here works their butts off, and the kitchen is no joke either. You can see in and they are cranking non-stop. Korean Fried Mushrooms are a must-do. I tried the Szechuan Snap peas which were just okay. The main, Carnitas Ragu was really unique and delicious. I concluded with the Ricotta Donuts which are served hot and fresh with a side of espresso ice cream. On a cool summer night, it's hard to do much better than enjoying an evening here with the windows down. I hope I get to return next time I'm in town.

Breakfast restaurant
Cafe Patachou is a trendy and modern cafe with multiple locations, offering eclectic daytime plates along with fair-trade coffees, wine, and beer in a bright and trendy setting. The restaurant serves lunch and breakfast items all day, allowing customers to enjoy fresh and nicely presented food such as the popular tomato artichoke soup. The upbeat and cool vibe of the restaurant adds to the overall dining experience.
Enjoyed a great breakfast post work! We sat outside, had a vanilla latte 💓 and prosecco mimosa with waffles, and the croissant french toast! Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we don't remember our waiter's name 😔, but he was very respectful of our time! **Patio is potentially pet friendly, I noticed a water bowl outside. 🐶

We came here while visiting on the recommendation of lots of family and even Indy bloggers I had seen online. Maybe we’re spoiled in chicago but the food was very lackluster. The cinnamon toast was just two slices of toast with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nothing special. The breakfast dishes were not seasoned, hardly any salt. I don’t mean to be a harsh critic but I just wouldn’t go out of my way to this place for food. Vibes, sure, but not the food.

I visited Café Patachou in Broad Ripple and was less than impressed. I ordered the Patawich, which consists of a pork sausage patty, cheese, pesto, and a hard-fried egg on an English muffin. I requested chicken sausage as a substitute, and my server asked if links were okay, which they were. When my sandwich arrived, it was drenched in pesto and had a single chicken sausage link placed in the center of the muffin. I asked if this was typical, and my server mentioned that the original sandwich comes with only one patty and that chicken sausage wasn’t a common substitute. She did offer to bring me another link, but I declined, as I had already shaved down my muffin to accommodate the one provided. Despite the overwhelming amount of pesto, the sandwich was somehow still bland. This was disappointing because I was able to taste the chicken sausage on its own (my friend had ordered some à la carte), and it was delightful. There were a few other hiccups during the meal—my friend’s egg was mistakenly placed on my plate, which wasn’t a huge deal but still a mix-up. On the bright side, the French toast was tasty, and the mimosa was delicious, seemingly made with fresh-squeezed orange juice. Overall, while there were some highlights, my main dish left much to be desired. After this visit, I’m unlikely to return. The experience felt overpriced and overhyped.

Fresh, Flavorful & Worth the Visit! We had a fantastic lunch today at Café Patachou (4901 N Pennsylvania St), and it did not disappoint! My wife ordered the Chopped Cobb Salad, and it was perfection—fresh greens, roasted chicken, avocado, gorgonzola, bacon, hard-boiled egg, and more, all tossed in a delicious house vinaigrette. She paired it with a Lavender Lemonade that was as refreshing as it was unique. I had the Roasted Turkey Club—turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo all stacked just right. Super fresh, super tasty. I added a cup of the Tomato Artichoke Soup—warm, cozy, and totally hit the spot. Great service, relaxed vibe, and fresh, high-quality ingredients in every bite. Whether you’re local or just passing through Indy, Café Patachou is a must-try for a casual, feel-good meal.

Cafe Patachou is always a classic when it comes to brunch. This location is no exception. We came on a Saturday at around 10:45 and they were pretty busy but thankfully there was at least one open table for us. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I went for The Omelette You Can’t Refuse with a side of cinnamon toast. Definitely one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. The cinnamon toast is also out of this world. Overall, if you’re in Indianapolis searching for a hyped brunch spot, this is the place! I’m obviously coming back!

Have a fabulous experience here. The outdoor seating had plenty of shade. I loved the ease of navigating the menu, being new at eating out and having my gluten allergy, it was clear what had a gluten free option or what was already gluten free. I had the gluten free french toast and some bacon along with the lavender iced latte and it was all 10/10! The waitress was very patient and helpful answering any questions I had!

Being a Butler student, this is the Patachou I have been to the most and my personal favorite location. While there are a lot of great options, I almost always get an omelette with cinnamon toast, hard to beat! The location gives it a nice, neighborhood feel. I feel Patachou is the best breakfast place in Indy, and given this is my favorite one that makes it my favorite overall!

What a great place. Everyone we stopped and asked a question of was so helpful and polite. Their directions were spot in. We had general admission tickets and found some great seats up in the grandstands right before turn one. Simply a perfect day.

Went to see the renovated museum and take the track tour. Very nice updates to the museum with many realistic displays. The 8 minute movie was a very immersive experience . The museum was a little smaller than expected with lot of empty floor space for crowds or additional displays later.

Phenomenal historical visit. Not an Indy car or nascar guy, but the place was awesome! Museum was stellar, people were very friendly, and you could feel the history all around you. Track tour was awesome and the volunteers were very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. Would highly recommend this one in you’re ever in Indy!

Amazing racing venue. Unfortunately went on a half rainy day, but it was very cool to walk around the inside of the track. Lots of great angles, specifically the back straight and turns 12-14 (last set of turns). Would definitely see another GT3 race here again.

Located within the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is a haven for racing enthusiasts and history buffs alike. The museum boasts an impressive collection of classic race cars, motorcycles, engines, and memorabilia dating back to the late 1800s. It also features a permanent exhibit showcasing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame. Visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history of racing in Indianapolis and explore winning cars from the renowned Indy 500.
It’s an amazing experience from start to finish. Be sure and take the golf cart tour. Jason was personable and made the tour awesome! The museum is amazing! So many important cars and the building itself is a work of art. The only negative is they need more refreshments due to the amount of time a visitor may spend there. Be sure and talk to the different staff around the museum, they make the visit more informative and some of them have great stories. I highly recommend visiting here whether you e ever watched a race or not.

Wow! The newly renovated floorplan is incredible. The detail and displays are easy to read and purposeful to the history of the track. I felt like I connected to the history of the track through the museum. The movie displays stimulating and felt like I was there. The new STEM/kids area is really for all ages and does an exceptional job bringing the racing experience to your finger tips. Plan extra time for thus area. And the top floor is a tribute to the best of the best showing off race suits and trophies. This truly is a key part of American history as well as the commitment to excellence.

WOW. As a lifelong motorsports fan, I've always enjoyed visiting IMS, though it had been years since I visited the museum. After the recent renovation, this is easily the BEST museum for racing fans everywhere. The exhibits are fantastic, it's spotless and well-laid out, and had a large section for interactive activities (including a bank of simulators)! Best of all though - there was a TON for our young kids to do! A small play area for toddlers, interactive games, and an entire room dedicated to STEAM activities. We got a discount for admission from our local library, but I would have easily paid full price. The IMS staff were so incredibly nice, and were very helpful and chill, even with our crazy 18-month-old running around yelling "CAR!" constantly. Well done, IMS! We will be back!
Cameron C — Google review
Loved it! It's an immersive experience that's well laid out in a modern and very clean facility. For a true racing fan, this is a must-see, especially as it contains so much history and includes not only IndyCar and the Indy 500, but also a NASCAR feature that depicts the history of the Brickyard 400. It is my understanding that the NASCAR display is not a permanent fixture in the museum. However, in my opinion it should be because it features IMS in a broader sense... especially since so many visitors only know it for the Indy 500.

My husband loved touring the museum and seeing all the cars they have on display. I’m not much of a race fan or car enthusiast but found the history very interesting. We spent about an hour touring all three levels. They were testing on the track while we were there, so no track tours that day, but we plan to come back and actually tour the track via golf cart.

The Indiana State Museum is a must-visit attraction in Indianapolis, offering a diverse range of exhibits that cover everything from fossils to pop culture. Located within the scenic White River State Park, the museum is surrounded by other notable attractions such as the NCAA Hall of Champions sports museum and the Eiteljorg Museum. Visitors can also explore nearby landmarks like Victory Field and Lucas Oil Stadium. Additionally, history enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to delve into Indiana's rich heritage, including connections to U.S.
Holy COW this museum was great! Firstly, it is organized chronologically, as opposed to most museums which are organized by genre/concept. This made it feel more akin to a journey through time in Indiana. The exhibits also included miniature images of the state with a pin placed to show where in Indiana each artifact was found! So cool! Certain exhibits, particularly fossils, also included sculpted casts by the information plaques, I'm assuming for blind visitors to "see" the exhibits with their hands. This was very neat as well! The facility was clean and the café (especially the customer service!!!) was great.

Leaving a review and shout out for Erica Montgomery, the Event Coordinator there. My Wife and I booked an area for our wedding last week and when I say Erica is the best, she is the best. From the communication, care, above and beyond effort, to the actual day of running back and forth bridging the gaps, her assistance was vital, appreciated, and treasured. She left no stone unturned and even provided us with ideas that made our day absolutely perfect. I can't thank her enough and to recommend the ISM for your special day. Again, thank you to ISM and thank you to Erica for being a Core Memory of ours for a lifetime. Highly recommended.

This place has amazing grounds. We came when they were closed so we walked around outside. They had at least 80 pieces of art on the outside of their building and around the property. An inexpensive place to spend the day watching a ballgame. Food prices are fair and the food is pretty good. Souvenir prices are on par with everywhere else. Restrooms were clean and plentiful. The lawn looked like a good place to bring little kids who may not be interested in the game the whole time, plenty of room for them to move around. If you sit in the lawn you can bring food and drinks in. They even have a place for smokers so they don't have to leave the stadium.

Cool stadium! Active super fans. Lots of food places and two indoor league shopping stores. Misting machines. Doggy games. Lots of vendors. There is something for everyone. Walking distance from the Hyatt Regency.

Went to an Indianapolis Indians game for the first time and it was great!! Victory Field is beautiful and the game featured the Indians vs. the Iowa Cubs. It was a pitching duel through 10 innings and a 0-0 score then Iowa broke loose for 7 runs in extra innings. The game was well played by both teams. We enjoyed our seats and had some great food from concessions too. Many thanks to all at Victory Field for a great experience!

Super fun stadium right in the heart of downtown. Plenty of parking options in the area. Great lawn and stands where you'll be close to the action anywhere. Tons of food and drink stations spread out.

Every ticket that’s in any # section is under 25$ , food isn’t as overpriced as it is at most sporting events , concession stands for every section , barely ever any wait times

Great ballpark! Lots going on and concessions had tons of options. Love the Tuesday’s $1 dogs.

Conner's Kitchen + Bar is a laid-back and airy restaurant located in downtown Indianapolis, offering a wide range of American comfort food, cocktails, and craft beer. The establishment has an industrial vibe and is known for its extensive menu featuring various American cuisine dishes. It's popular for its lively atmosphere and attentive staff. Customers often rave about the Fried Chicken and Waffles as well as the generous portions of mouth-watering pancakes that make for a hearty breakfast or brunch option.
Eve was phenomenal! She was kind, it’s time to speak with me, made sure I was delighted with my meal, and did all the little extra things to make this truly a five star experience. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome. And the meal was excellent. The eggs were light and fluffy. The bacon was cooked perfectly, the fruit was nice and fresh, and the roasted potatoes… I can’t say enough about those Yum! I come here occasionally after work and Eve made my experience the best!

Had 2 dinners at Conner’s while I was in town for the week. Comfortable and clean. Service was stellar and the food was outstanding. 1st night I had lump crab hush puppies and shrimp and grits. 2nd night I had the guacamole and steak frites. Definitely worth the trip. Thank you Darrian and Matt for the great service and awesome recommendations.
Jimmy E — Google review
Enjoyed all the food, but will say everything was a little mid. I loved the company I was with 🩷 and Brittaney was super warm and attentive. I did enjoy the hush puppies the most! Waffle was average and the brisket hash was super oily. The patio is a great place to hang as the indoor area is a little dark and moody for a brunch spot.

Dining here was incredible. We were told from the beginning that it was busy so we expected a long wait, but it truly wasn’t that long. Our server, Fitz, was amazing. He was kind and helpful and was thorough in his work. He often checked on us to make sure we didn’t need any refills or had anything extra to add to our order. He gave great recommendations of the menu and seemed to really enjoy the work he was doing. He also updated us on our order periodically to let us know where our ticket stood in the cook order. Fitz always met our table with a smile and got us anything we needed. If we’re ever back in the city, we will for sure be back and hope to have Fitz again in the future.

Great vibes all around! The food was seasoned well and the presentation felt right. The atmosphere puts patrons at ease. Whether you're here on business or just catching up with a friend, Connor's Kitchen + Bar is the spot to meet up. Shy, our server, was pleasant and attentive. She anticipated our needs with a smile. Would definitely come back for the breakfast donut sampler! 😋

Went here before a concert at Everwise and it was a great start to our date night. The location is fantastic, and we loved the atmosphere as you walk in past the patio seating to the dining room seats. Our staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. We started with BLT deviled eggs, cannot get enough of them. Comes with 4 eggs, they are to die for. Started with peach cobbler (one of my all time favorite cocktails I've ever had - sweet, dessert like) and a spritz cocktail. My wife had the french onion soup (amazing deep flavor profile, incredible) and the shrimp and grits. These were the highlights reading other reviews and we absolutely agreed, the shrimp were amazingly seasoned. Grits were fantastic. I had the wagyu cheeseburger. It is massive, near impossible for me to eat assembled, ate it with a fork and knife. It was delicious, not as impressive as the shrimp and grits to be honest. My french fries with burger were all 100% perfect, wish I had enough room to just snack on these forever. Finished with the butter cake dessert which was so moist and delicious, very rich flavors, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We will definitely love to come back soon.
Graydon T — Google review
1st time experience. Food is exquisite. Great service. I ordered the shrimp and grits with no jalapenos but it was still too spicy so I ended up with the fried chicken. It was delicious too. We will return.
Stephanie H — Google review
My partner and I were looking for the top rated food in the Indianapolis downtown area. Conner’s kitchen + bar appeared to have the highest ratings. The service was awesome. Our server was named Audrey. She was very genuine and appeared to actually care about her job and leading you in the proper direction. 10/10 for Audrey!! The food however, was not mind blowing for the price. Audrey suggested the smoked chicken wings (special spice) and it came with four different flavors. The wings were crispy and we enjoyed the hot sauce. We finished off with the burnt ends and they were a bit fatty, especially for the price. Overall, I would say if you’re looking for something more on the fancy side to attend to with your family / friends, connor’s would be a good option.

Steak house
Tony's of Indianapolis is a premier dining destination that embodies sophistication and culinary excellence. Nestled in a spacious and elegant setting, this steakhouse offers an impressive selection of choice steaks and seafood, making it the perfect spot for a romantic date night or special celebration. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list to complement its delectable menu, featuring standout dishes like the renowned dry-aged bone-in NY strip and USDA prime ribeye.
We celebrated our anniversary here. The food was delicious, well I didn’t care for the Tony pasta it was too meaty. Other than that it was our first time and we had the best server. I think her name was Stephanie. Can’t wait to return.
Shanique L — Google review
Spent my birthday here. From the food, server, drinks, and atmosphere were top-notch! The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the crab cake was wild! One of the best steakhouses Indy has to offer. Stephanie was the best server!
J D — Google review
I’d never heard of Tony’s and was invited for a date. I arrived and was greeted and seated quickly while waiting for my date. The staff were all friendly and happy to explain their offerings. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all excellent. Our server overheard us mentioning it was a first date and surprised us with a complimentary dessert and celebratory candle, which I thought was such a nice touch. I definitely plan to go back whenever I’m in town again.

A foodies review- We dined at Tony’s for my birthday. Everything was absolutely amazing from the food to the service. We started with the crab cake, oysters (meaty, briney, absolutely delicious), and calamari. Crab cake was out of this world! The Chilean Seabass was beautifully plated and the flavors nicely balanced. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The serving sizes are large and you really feel like you’re getting your moneys worth. Overall 10/10!!!

Tony's is a well-known and popular steakhouse in downtown Indianapolis. This spot serves up the best porterhouse cooked to absolute perfection. This spot prepares and grills the best and most mouthwatering cuts of beef. We ordered a side of horseradish au gratin potatoes as well as freshly grilled asparagus. Our table also enjoyed the Pasta Pescatore (seafood pasta), the greek salad, and the complimentary bread and butter. Tony's even offers fantastic live entertainment on the weekends. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is sophisticated yet inviting. This was my first time visiting Tony's of Indianapolis, but it definitely won't be the last time!

Very, very nice! The food was amazing and my server, Jay, was extremely kind and attentive. Great experience overall I’ll definitely be back!

Tony’s is amazing, the good reviews were spot on and did not disappoint! We were staying near by and wanted to try somewhere different, made reservations for a Friday night about a week out. The atmosphere is very nice, comfortable, and welcoming. Our server Mason was great, she highly recommended the crab cake and it was delicious. We shared a cesar salad, she got a filet and I got the bone in ribeye both topped with garlic butter. I’ve got a lot of steak from some high end restaurants, but this was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The seasoning they use creates an amazing crust and they were cooked to perfection. 😋 We got the chocolate cake & brûléed cheesecake to go, they both were very delicious.

A Discreet Gem for Power Players and Culinary Connoisseurs Alike From the moment we stepped into Tony’s of Indianapolis, the experience was nothing short of world-class. I had the rare privilege of being hosted for a private evening with a small circle of ultra-high-net-worth individuals — some of the most influential investors from Silicon Valley — and Tony’s delivered in every way imaginable. Despite the notable identities in our party, the staff handled everything with the utmost discretion, professionalism, and poise. There was no fanfare, no fuss — just quiet, confident excellence. Every detail was seamlessly orchestrated, from the moment our coats were taken to the final toast of vintage Bordeaux. The service? Impeccable. We were treated with the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy — never hovered over, yet never once left wanting. Our server was not only knowledgeable about the extensive wine list and menu, but exuded a kind of calm grace that made the entire table feel at ease. As for the food… It was spectacular. From the melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon to the impossibly fresh seafood and decadent desserts, every course was an homage to precision and passion. The steak was cooked to perfection. Looking forward to our next endeavor there. Best. —CB

Mexican restaurant
The Tamale Place is a popular quick-serve restaurant in Indianapolis that offers a variety of authentic Mexican dishes based on family recipes. Originally starting as a walk-up counter, it has now expanded to include an airy dining room with evening hours. The tamales, priced at $3.49 each, are a standout item on the menu, featuring hearty versions with well-seasoned pork or chicken and a straightforward option with poblanos and cheese that highlights the tender masa.
Hot damn! What a find in Indianapolis! Amazing authentic tamales that taste incredible. If you're a fan of Mexican food and have never been do yourself a favor and get down here! Poblano chili is my favorite and you can't go wrong with chicken and red sauce.

Tamales are amazing—just the right amount of spice. If you're into thick tortilla chips, this is the spot! The place has a quaint vibe, fast service, and super friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit.
Shawn P — Google review
I tried the chicken in green chili and the chicken in red chili. Bit were to spicy. Even for this Mexican from Texas. They have a genorous amount meat, but I just ate the masa, since the meat was to spicy.
JR R — Google review
The steak taco is the best I have ever eaten. So yum!! Tamales were good but the star is the taco!
Melissa C — Google review
A storefront in a strip mall, the Tamale Place is an interesting location. Inside, order at the counter and it doesn't take long for them to pull your tamales, plate them and you're ready to eat. The current selection is on the board and I chose the "Hot & Spicy Pork" and a "Bean and Rice." A good mix as the hot and spicy was indeed both hot and spicy. It was very helpful to have a regular with some carbs to cut some of that heat. I am not a tamale expert and so I can't say that these were fantastic or that they exceeded expectations. But they were tasty, a big portion and I enjoyed them.
Bruce K — Google review
Forever my favorite place in Indy. Hands down the best pork tacos on US soil. The chips are thick but the salsa is fresh. The manger has always been super friendly and treats me like family.

Lucas Oil Stadium is a state-of-the-art, retractable-roof stadium located in Indianapolis. It serves as the home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and hosts various events including concerts. The stadium has a seating capacity of 67,000 and offers stunning views of the downtown skyline. Visitors can take year-round tours to explore this impressive venue that opened in 2008 and hosted the 2012 Super Bowl.
We were at Lucas oil stadium for gen con and the staff kept everything clean and tidy. I cannot comment on seats as we went for the convention but I would imagine lower level for concerts and games having a great view. We did a D&D session in one of the suite level room and and the area inside was maintained well, comfortable and allowed for a cool view of the stadium. Overall I’m glad the staff was on top of things and keeping the bathrooms clean during a very busy time!

The stadium was great. The blast of air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat outside. There was some technological issues verifying our tickets that delayed our entry into the building and thereby caused us to miss much of the pregame. Still not sure what happened but eventually all nine of us entered. We were in the back of the mid-level and our view was unobstructed. The toilets were sufficient. The food was as expected.

FFA national convention is hosted there and Evans high school which I teach at, and I am the FFA advisor. This year was our first time going to the national conference. And we really enjoyed ourselves. The stadium is great. This was my first time visiting Indiana and its beautiful. I love the way their landscaping with beautiful flowers and crops. Such as cabbages, different types of lettuce, Swiss Chard. It's just beautiful lavender everywhere.

There are a ton of entrances you can’t actually get through. Following the crowd works fine, and security moves quickly once you figure out where to go in. Beers run about $17 for the big cans, and you’re limited to two per person. They’ll ask you to leave a tip—minimum 15% (hard pass)—and claim it goes to some charity.

Nice Facility. Easy in and out before and after events. I have had a good view of field no matter where I was seated so far. Concessions are reasonably priced compared to others.

As a Colts fan I'm going to be a little biased, but my experience here was surreal. The picture doesn't do it justice, we were high up but did not feel like I had to watch the screen at all. I was able to see every play without issue. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly, it was like watching the game with family. Was proud of my fellow Hoosiers for our hospitality to the Titan fans.

St. Elmo Steak House is a historic and esteemed dining destination renowned for its steaks, seafood, and cocktail lounge. Established in 1902, this landmark restaurant boasts a rich history and has become an institution in Indianapolis. The tuxedo-clad waitstaff, extensive wine cellar, and the opportunity to spot celebrities add to its allure. Guests can savor dry-aged steaks while being surrounded by photo-lined hallways honoring notable visitors.
Historical steak house in Indianapolis that lives up to its name. They pride themselves in the history. The servers are properly addressed as stewards and those that have tenure are actually listed on the menu. The shrimp cocktail is definitely a sinus opener since they use a LOT of fresh horseradish. Not for the faint of heart. The dry aged steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Portions were large and worth the price. Our server, Laura seemed too practiced and not genuine (her name was on the menu as a 5 year tenure). Merely using terms of endearment like 'lovey' or 'honey' seems a bit demeaning when you aren't looking someone in the eye or smiling much. She mentioned an assistant Jen, that i never saw during the meal. The food and cocktails made up for it ,though. Will be trying other steak houses next time I'm in the area to compare. Valet $15. Came in at reservation time and did not have a wait.

Worthy of every ounce of hype! The place is beautiful inside and out, with every area being part cosy dining room, part museum. The service was spectacular. Friendly, memorable, attentive, good humoured, and able to give menu recommendations without feeling pushy. And the food…just wow! Yes, the shrimp cocktail (or more accurately, the horseradish) will knock your socks off. Yes the steaks are amazing. The fries though, were a standout. Best fries I had on my trip to the states. They also know how to make a cocktail! I would go back to Indy specifically to eat here.

So glad I visited this restaurant during a business trip in Indianapolis. The restaurant has been serving up deliciousness for a long time. I was able to go to their upstairs speakeasy to enjoy their signature St. Elmo’s Coke made with cherry vanilla whiskey and drunken cherries. They had a “Devour” menus during my visit which was perfect because I was able to enjoy all of the classics like the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail and steak. The servers and staff in general are well dressed and very attentive. What a great experience!

We went for dinner to celebrate 20 years and couldn't have asked for a better meal. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and baked potato and it was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and lobster bisque. They do cook the steaks more on the rare side so you may need to check with the server on how you like it cooked. No pictures of our meals because it looked so good we forgot to take them lol. Service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly. Great old steakhouse with a lot of history and great food.
Heather D — Google review
Was out here at the convention center and had a nice treat trying this amazing long time steakhouse! Definitely one of the best I have ever eaten at the old school look of the place made me feel like I was back In time. Our server was great and the food was some of the best ever! The complimentary bean soup was amazing I could have it everyday if I could and that shrimp cocktail hit you with so much spice for like 10 seconds then it mellows out but it’s outstanding flavor! The salad filet that cut like butter the amazing potatoes and veggies and that creamed spinach was to die for! This is definitely an experience I won’t forget and I would come back to Indianapolis just for this steak house it is definitely a must try!

Outstanding food, vibe, and great atmosphere!! Must try is the shrimp cocktail, but be warned it is spicy.... I mean hot. Heat goes straight through the nasal cannula. But without a lingering hot taste in you mouth. I loved it! Amelia and David was great at hosting and bartender. Truly a great experience!

This was the absolute best steak, baked potato, bean soup, salad and bread I've ever tasted in my whole life! This place is delicious and you must go and try it for yourself! And the service is spectacular! Next time I'm in Indy, it will be one of my first stops!
Stacey D — Google review
Go somewhere else!! We had reservations and were seated as soon as we checked in. The shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, and lobster bisque were very good. Everything else was trash, in my opinion. We did it big. Dry aged ribeye, added south African lobster tail, king crab mac, bourbon cake and creme brulee. It all sucked. There was ZERO seasoning on the steak, very tough even though order Med.-rare. $100 steak and had to ask for freakin A-1. Totally unacceptable. Better steak at Outback. Lobster tail straight on the grille, no seasoning and served with butter. They could've at least basted it while on the grille. King crab mac watery and tasted like straight fish. Bourbon cake over cooked, ice cream was good. Creme brulee, super basic, would be better paired with fresh fruit. Save some money and go somewhere else. Our bill was $1,200 for 4 people. Only 3 alcoholic beverages. Food looked good, but deceptive when there is zero flavor. Expected more from a restaurant that has been around over 100 years.

Shopping
Located on Downtown Indy's West Maryland Street, Circle Centre Mall is a bustling multi-level shopping destination that has been a cornerstone of the city's downtown area since its opening in 1995. Spanning over seven acres, this four-story mall offers an array of nationally known chain retailers as well as smaller boutiques, making it a great place for shopping enthusiasts. The third floor houses a diverse food hall with numerous restaurants offering various cuisines.
Circle Centre Mall is a nice spot to check out if you're in downtown Indianapolis. The location is super convenient, right near Monument Circle and other attractions. It has a decent variety of stores and a food court with good options to grab a quick bite. I also liked that it’s connected to the Indianapolis Artsgarden, which adds a cool vibe to the experience. Some parts of the mall feel a little dated, but overall, it’s a good place to shop, eat, or just take a break while exploring the city.
Alexander S — Google review
Barren. Empty. Bereft. A virtual ghost town. We had a hard time finding the entrance. Once we got inside, there was nothing to make us feel welcome. We wandered up and down the floors, finding one or two open stores, one or two open food places, a handful of visitors. It looked sad. Yet another thing Covid broke??? Then we went into the Art Garden, which was spectacular. What a great place to rent out for events!
Janet K — Google review
It’s truly heartbreaking to see what’s become of Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis. This place was once a bustling icon of the city—a beacon of commerce, entertainment, and community. Now, it’s completely dried up and practically disappeared into nothing. Walking through the mall today feels like stepping into a ghost town. Most of the shops are gone, the food court is a shadow of what it used to be, and there’s very little reason to visit anymore. What once served as a central hub for shopping, dining, and making memories has sadly faded away. So many of us grew up coming here—whether it was for back-to-school shopping, weekend hangouts, or holiday visits with family. The energy and life that once filled this space have vanished, and what’s left is a hollow reminder of better times. It's truly disappointing to see such a historic property in the heart of Indianapolis fall into this level of decline. The lack of investment, the departure of nearly every major retailer, and the overall emptiness of the place just makes it feel like the city has given up on it. Circle Centre Mall used to be a proud symbol of downtown, but now it feels like a relic that’s been forgotten. It deserves better. We all do. Unless major revitalization happens soon, it’s hard to recommend visiting—because, quite honestly, there’s hardly anything left to see. A sad end to what was once a great part of Indy’s downtown life.
Robert C — Google review
Circle Centre Mall is a treasure located in the downtown area of Indianapolis, Indiana. The murals are masterpieces that adorn the exterior walls beautifully. Each mural adds an extra touch of elegance. This location has created safe passageways from downtown hotels to shopping in the mall. This mall was designed with business in mind.
Tavetta P — Google review
Nice place to hang out and explore in downtown Indy! You’ll find good shops, food spots, and a few cool corners to chill. It’s not as busy as it used to be, but that actually makes it peaceful and easy to walk around. Great spot if you’re visiting the city or just need a place to shop and relax.
Daniel ( — Google review
The mall is absolutely beautiful! So much impressive engineering. It must have been horribly expensive. The glass elevators are gorgeous. The art is everywhere and gives you plenty of visual feast. The views from the glass intersection where you can see down the streets is also fun. Everything seems to be well cared for. The problem is, there are so many spaces where there used to be a store. Those spaces outnumber the actual stores by about 10 to 1. It's a shame that it's so empty. And because of it, I didn't see hardly anyone else there except for the people who work there. Every place that was open had maybe 1 or 2 people in it, including the Forever 21, which surprised me. I expect that it would do better if small businesses would move their offices there and turn it into a business center with a food court. If you get a chance, come see this place while it's still open. So many beautiful malls have been closed and torn down because they couldn't transition to an effective new business model.
Terry I — Google review
absolutely all the shops inside are empty, in this shopping center you can only buy food and gold, soap.
You K — Google review
Interesting mall with an interesting design. When coming here for the first time, it's kind of difficult to find the entrance since it kind of blends in with other office entrances. The part of the mall over the intersection of Illinois Street and Washington Street is kind of interesting too especially if you're into unique architecture. The mall is about four floors tall and extends into buildings across the street via sky bridges. There are lots of stores, the place is very clean and very nice and overall a great mall. The other big architectural detail about this mall is the interesting glass elevators near the main entrance at Washington and Illinois Street.

The restaurant pays homage to the legendary partnership of Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen, who were well-known in the community as the Odd Couple. With three local venues, Harry & Izzy's offers generous portions and bold flavors in its house specials.
One of my favorite spots in Indy, partly owned by Peyton Manning with the same quality food as its next door neighbor St. Elmo’s Steakhouse with the same owners, this high end restaurant is a better value and less snooty atmosphere. I’ve seen people in suits and even people in shorts. They are known for their shrimp cocktail sauce with “Grade A horseradish” (apparently there is a grading, which our waiter explained, so ask them!). Also their bred pudding dessert is a must order, combining three of my favorite things: ice cream, whipped cream and Woodford Reserve 🥃! The waiter said it could serve 4 but the four of us struggled to finish it. Highly recommend both of those things. One of my colleagues has a variety of allergies and the manager thoughtfully came out to explain how they handle food allergies. We thought that was a nice touch. Great spot for business dinners!

The buffalo solider cocktail was an easy drinker that wasn't overpowering on the bourbon. We got the shrimp cocktail to start which was great but expensive for 4 shrimp. It packed quite the punch with the amount of horseradish. The fried chicken slider was basic but what I expected. The French onion soup was well balanced and one of the best I've had. The star of the show was the lobster sacchetti which was split between 2 people. The sauce was nice and creamy with just the right amount of lobster flavor. It was all very filling so we skipped dessert. It was a pretty casual atmosphere with most people in sports gear of shorts and t shirts at 5:00 on a Saturday.

They had an amazing selection of whiskey which I didn't expect (tho a bit overpriced). The food was reasonable but nothing too amazing. We had the pork chop and ribeye filet. The dessert is large! We got the pudding and it'd absolutely large enough to share with two people.

Treated like royalty at Harry & Izzy's! Fantastic staff was friendly beyond belief. Portions were generous, everything was delicious beyond compare! The meatballs were amazing and huge, the meatloaf was a whole meatloaf and oh so good, and the bread pudding deserves a warning label! Both succulently flavored and towering over it's 8" square pan, smothered with ice cream and whipped topping! THE best I have EVER had. Thank you!!!

Phenomenal to the service to the food. Amazing experience for us out of towners. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night. We were seated right away and server came around quick to fill water cups and give us the specials/etc. He gave us conversation on why we were there and recommendations on food choice. We choose his recommendations and it was amazingly delicious. Well worth the money for our first night in Indy. The shrimp cocktail sauce was on 🔥. If you stay in Indy this should be everyone's first night dinner date.

The shrimp cocktail is incredible. The cocktail sauce loves up to its reputation. It will clean the sinuses. My steak was perfection as well. Reservations are a must unless you sit at the bar.

Very nice .... The shrimp cocktail lived up to its reputation... SPICY. The key lime creme brulee (seasonal) was awesome. Onion rings were good ... Thin with a perfect coating of breading. And plenty to around. Ribeye steak was perfectly cooked to my specifications. Overall - 5 out of 5 stars...

In town for a work conference, we brought a large group of 12 for dinner. Harry & Izzy’s is the sister spot to St. Elmo. Same pedigree, but with a bigger dining room and broader menu. Food: We started with brussel sprouts and calamari. Both were flavorful and well prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye “Izzy’s Way” (pepper crusted and served in a bath of steak sauce). Normally I avoid steak sauce, but this was excellent and worth ordering in Indy. Sides of mushrooms and broccolini were just okay. Dessert stole the show. The banana bread pudding was phenomenal. Easily the best bread pudding I’ve had anywhere. The local black coffee paired perfectly. Service and Atmosphere: Service was attentive and smooth, even for a big group. The dining room has a warm, lively atmosphere without being overwhelming. A great place to bring colleagues or friends for a solid steakhouse experience. Bottom line: If you are downtown and want a great steak dinner, Harry & Izzy’s is worth it. Go for the ribeye Izzy’s Way, but do not leave without trying the banana bread pudding.

Perched high above the bustling streets of downtown Indianapolis, The Eagle's Nest is a chic revolving rooftop restaurant located on the 23rd floor of the Hyatt Regency. This elegant venue offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline, making it an ideal setting for both romantic dinners and special celebrations. With its sophisticated ambiance, it's perfect for intimate gatherings or business meetings alike.
Decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary here. We had a great experience, the food was delicious. The view was phenomenal. Service was great, our server was amazing ! She went out of her way to write us a card & gifted us dessert! Thank you Rene & Jape for the great service.

I had the absolute pleasure of taking my mother Sherry and my niece Raelei out for an amazing dinner (in part to celebrate Raelei's 14th birthday) and to experience one of the best and most unique restaurants that Indianapolis has to offer! And I was completely blown away by the ambiance of this gorgeous restaurant, by the breath taking view of a city that I've lived in my entire life, by the absolute best Salmon, and food in general that we've ever had! What sent this over the top, and was beyond anything I've ever experienced dining out was the top tier, gold medal deserving service we received from our waiter/server Anthony! This young man was the most polite, respectful, hospitable, attentive, knowledgeable, professional I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with at a restaurant! He was on top of every single request we made, and absolutely made this dinner and experience the three of us will never forget! And has set the standard for service so high that I don't think anyone will ever surpass it! This young man made this dinner a truly unforgettable experience for us, not just a nice dinner! So thank you to the young man Anthony and to Eagles Nest for the unbelievable food, drinks, atmosphere and views of this amazing city! Absolutely a 10/10 for everything across the board! 100% would recommend and will certainly be going back! -Douglas Carter

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. The food and drinks were amazing. Our server, Nicolas, was great. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Overall it was an incredible experience. Great views, excellent service, and delicious food.

Lovely atmosphere and very good food, especially the seafood chowder. Also, they have mocktails for $8 which we didn’t know but enjoyed very much! The service was good as well.

Is a rotating restaurant a gimmick? Perhaps, but a very good one. The slowly changing view that goes for miles is quite enjoyable and I can't imagine there is a better way to see the Indy skyline. Food drinks were all good, but nothing exceptional. Service was very attentive. (Pay attention to the designated elevator - not all elevator cars go to the restaurant. If there isn't an 'R' button, you're not in the right one.)
Scott G — Google review
This restaurant is located in downtown Indianapolis and offers a 360-degree view of the city. It’s not exactly an observation deck, but rather a rotating restaurant that slowly turns around its axis. While sitting at your table, you get to enjoy the stunning views of Indianapolis, which constantly change as the restaurant moves. I’ve been to a similar place in Vienna, and it’s truly an impressive experience. You enter the restaurant through the hotel, and the elevator ride is beautiful – one side is glass, so as you go up, you see the entire hotel lobby below you with its open space and people sitting down, almost like you’re floating to the very top. I believe it’s located in the Hyatt, and it’s really cool. The service was very good, and our server was kind and attentive. However, when you come to such a place, with panoramic views, valet parking, and this whole upscale atmosphere, you expect something extraordinary – a “wow” factor that takes your breath away. Unfortunately, the food, while good, didn’t live up to that level. I ordered the tuna poke (or tuna tartare), and honestly, it didn’t impress me. I’ve had better versions of this dish in simpler restaurants where it was fresher and more flavorful. I didn’t even finish it. My husband and my mom both ordered the duck and said it was very good. My dad ordered fish, and my son had a steak – they were happy with their meals. We also had crème brûlée for dessert, and they brought out a birthday cake for my dad, singing happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the view and the experience of being in such a unique rotating restaurant are unforgettable. But considering this is one of the most pretentious and upscale restaurants in Indianapolis, the food just didn’t reach the level of excellence we expected. The entire arrival experience – valet parking, beautiful glass elevator, luxurious hotel lobby, and breathtaking views – sets the bar high, but the food fell short of creating that final “wow” moment. It’s a bit sad because everything else about the place is truly special.

I have lived in Indy for 3 years now but it took me until now to finally eat at The Eagle’s Nest. I’ve visited the Hyatt Regency a ton of times and have always wondered whether this place lived up to the hype. I finally after all this time managed to eat here. Came on a Tuesday at around 7 PM and they weren’t that busy. Just an fyi, but they DO have a dress code (business attire basically) so plan accordingly. The views up top are incredible, combined with the fact the place rotates around and gives you 360 views of the city. First off, I have to give HUGE props to our waiter Anthony. He was SO kind, attentive to our table, gave incredible menu suggestions, and made sure we were doing fine the whole time. Honestly, he was one of the best waiters I’ve seen in the industry so we tipped him very well. We started out with the Shrimp Cargot and the Thick Nueske’s Bacon as appetizers. Both were unbelievable. The shrimp was great and the bacon was unreal. I then got a bowl of the seafood chowder which was fantastic. Then as my main course, I got the Braised Short Ribs with Polenta. Overall, it was phenomenal all around. The ribs were juicy, flavorful, and the sauce was delish. The polenta was good and the carrots were good too. Overall, Eagle’s Nest was way better than I imagined! If you’re in Downtown Indy or are staying at the Hyatt, get yourself a reservation here. Was so worth it! I’ll easily be back.

Wine bar
Tastings - A Wine Experience is a trendy bistro located in downtown Indianapolis, offering an innovative wine-tasting concept. The venue features self-service wine stations where patrons can pour their own glasses using a prepaid card, similar to a soda fountain but with various wine options. With one of the city's largest wine selections, guests can order drinks by taste, glass, or bottle.
I LOVED this place. Such a cool idea, you are able to pick and choose your tastings and size of pours. There were only two waitresses/bartenders, but they did a great job. We got there on a Saturday at 3, when they opened, and it was full by 4pm.

The drinks were Great, the waitress was really nice and attentive and the bartender educated us on drink specials and how and what to mix our drinks with. They were both very attentive and we all had Great conversations.

This place... Let me tell you. Best wine experience and I am not a wine person. My wife and I were celebrating our ten year anniversary and this was one of our stops. The flowers, the arrangement, the food was all done by the Tastings team. I did nothing but ask for what I wanted. The normal tasting process isn't occurring due to covid-19 but it does not change the awesome experience or atmosphere. The selection of wines is impressive and has a full bar as well. Thank you for making our night memorable which we still talk about years later. Updated with more information today.

You can preload a wine tasting card and walk through the entire establishment tasting samples until you can't walk.. There are 72 different bottles throughout our floor you can walk around with a glass and pour a 2, 4, or 6oz glass freely for yourself. A huge variety of region's, varietals, reds, whites, flavors, everything. Once you have made your selection you are welcome to sit down and enjoy a freshly popped bottle just for yourself or you can sit at the bar and enjoy specially mixed cocktails. One of the pluses about this establishment is that all of the art is the art is purchasible you can either take it with you or they can ship it to you.

A little pricey, but a fun experience nonetheless ! The servers were all helpful and knew their products, the vibe was nice, and the wine and food were great. Only taking a star off because of the price, as we were caught off guard. If you prepare to pay a little more, you'd probably give it 5. :)

Visiting for a conference, and loved the experience. Opted to load up the tastings sample card and hit up the dispensers. Ordered crab dip and a cheese plate which were both delicious. Staff was rather scarce when we tried to pay the bill, took a while. Maybe the rush was starting...? Overall, awesome.

If you enjoy wine tasting, this is an absolute MUST! It's such a fun experience! We went for a girl's night and had a blast. They have approx. 75 different wines that you can taste. And it's self served! Kind of like a soda machine dispenser but for wine!!! You load your card, pick a choice of wine, and choose the amount you'd like - 2, 4, or 6 oz. Each one has a full description of the bottle of wine. They also have fodd that you can order. The cheese tray is a great option and the flatbread pizza was really good! Great ambiance and good customer service! I definitely recommend this place!

Came here for a wine tasting experience for date night. Would highly recommend! 4 wines with delicious appetizer pairings. We weren't hungry afterwards, but they do have flatbreads to order if you are. Would love to come back with friends to enjoy the bar. Service was excellent and fast. Ended up taking 2 bottles home as well.

Deli
Shapiro's Delicatessen, located at 808 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225, offers a casual cafeteria-style dining experience with generous portions of Kosher-style comfort food. Established in 1905 and situated near Villa on Meridian, this eatery is renowned for its sizable sandwiches and nostalgic ambiance. It has been a part of Indianapolis' culinary history for over a century.
This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Best Reuben in the state of Indiana? No. Best Reuben in the entire country. No comparison. Everything taste fresh. Service is friendly and speedy. Absolutely will dine here again.
Dizzology — Google review
Shapiro's Deli is a great example of a classic, cafeteria-style deli done right. From the moment you step in, you're met with a wide array of food choices hot entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads, sides, and a tempting selection of desserts. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Reuben, a bowl of matzo ball soup, or just a slice of pie and coffee, there's something here for everyone. The food is consistently good and made with obvious care. The meats are flavorful and fresh, the portions are generous, and the sides feel like something out of a well loved family recipe book. It’s a place that values tradition, and it shows in the quality of their dishes. Prices are on the higher end for a deli, which might catch you off guard if you’re expecting a budget-friendly quick bite. That said, you do get what you pay for good food, quick service, and a clean, well maintained dining area. One of the biggest strengths of Shapiro's is its versatility for group dining. If you're going out with a group of people who all have different preferences or dietary needs, this is a solid choice. With so many options, it's hard not to find something that hits the spot. All in all, Shapiro's is a dependable and satisfying stop in Indy, especially if you're craving classic deli fare with a touch of comfort and quality.
Nich G — Google review
Sadly I think this is my last visit. I’ve been coming to Shapiro’s for 11 years. I used to hold it in the highest regard for quality. The sandwiches used to be absolutely out of this world, some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately for the past 4 years the prices have continually gone up and the quality has gone down. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt compelled to. The last several times I’ve come here the meat on the sandwiches was just not like it used to be. $22.50 for a pastrami sandwich that more than half of the meat is grisly fat. $4.50 for a deviled egg. The deviled eggs are still delicious, but people come for the sandwiches not the sides. I understand prices have gone up and I’m okay paying more if I can still get the same quality. But it is not. Hopefully they can make changes and get back to what people have loved for decades. But until then, I don’t think I’ll be spending any more money here.

Cute deli. You can order to go, or go through the line like a cafeteria. There's plenty of dine in seating for all sizes of groups. My receipt says Gregg is who helped me, he was so nice! Customer service was 10/10, ill definitely be back because Gregg was great at customer service and just seems like a kind person.
Christine B — Google review
It has been years since our last visit to Shapiro's Deli. But we stopped in after a flight from Florida, and headed to Fort Wayne. The great: The cafeteria style environment has remained true and authentic for as long as I have visited. The meat-loaf was good and tasty with no complaints. The just ok: The mac-n-cheese had some very hard to chew, very crunchy like hard candy on parts on top, but maybe that was a style. The not so great: This time, and the last time we visited Shapiro's, the crust/corners/edges of my Rye bread were rock hard and very tough to eat...so hard that I had to remove it from the Corned Beef and Pastrami sandwich....not ideal when considering that the crust is a big part of the experience. Was it old bread? Over baked? I don't know, but not a good experience. Last, as just an observation or maybe a point for extra employee training: some customers do not know the "Shapiro way" of ordering and navigating the system. Train your employees behind the glass cases to be patient with those who came to spend their money at your establishment. For the amount of money spent on lunch, I just expected a more superb experience and product.
V. S — Google review
Atmosphere is standard cafeteria style, but I dont mind it! The food and service speak for itself. Delicious deli sandwiches and the hot food looked amazing. The bakery and dessets..wow
Betsy W — Google review
The herb crust on the pastrami resonated throughout the sandwich. The meat was not firm and easily flaking. The meat still held its flavors. The onion roll was served ice box cold. Requested cole slaw on the sandwich, they served the cole slaw as a side dish. The location is set up as cafeteria style, you walk through the line and place your order. It's pricey for a deli and this location is old school. Some of the quality and customer service this deli is known for over the decades was not present in today's order of a Rebecca pastrami sandwich.
MrsOlatubi — Google review
The famous pastrami shop of Indianapolis! It’s a very retro dineresque vibe, with a sadly now retro theme of good service! (Of note it is generally self serve cafeteria style). The food is truly average, the deli meats are nothing special. The in house rye bread is the best part- everything is just average. What makes it extra disappointing are the high prices for the quality of food. It’s good to experience once, hard to recommend to return after that.
