The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Indianapolis

We came here while visiting on the recommendation of lots of family and even Indy bloggers I had seen online. Maybe we’re spoiled in chicago but the food was very lackluster. The cinnamon toast was just two slices of toast with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nothing special. The breakfast dishes were not seasoned, hardly any salt. I don’t mean to be a harsh critic but I just wouldn’t go out of my way to this place for food. Vibes, sure, but not the food.

I visited Café Patachou in Broad Ripple and was less than impressed. I ordered the Patawich, which consists of a pork sausage patty, cheese, pesto, and a hard-fried egg on an English muffin. I requested chicken sausage as a substitute, and my server asked if links were okay, which they were. When my sandwich arrived, it was drenched in pesto and had a single chicken sausage link placed in the center of the muffin. I asked if this was typical, and my server mentioned that the original sandwich comes with only one patty and that chicken sausage wasn’t a common substitute. She did offer to bring me another link, but I declined, as I had already shaved down my muffin to accommodate the one provided. Despite the overwhelming amount of pesto, the sandwich was somehow still bland. This was disappointing because I was able to taste the chicken sausage on its own (my friend had ordered some à la carte), and it was delightful. There were a few other hiccups during the meal—my friend’s egg was mistakenly placed on my plate, which wasn’t a huge deal but still a mix-up. On the bright side, the French toast was tasty, and the mimosa was delicious, seemingly made with fresh-squeezed orange juice. Overall, while there were some highlights, my main dish left much to be desired. After this visit, I’m unlikely to return. The experience felt overpriced and overhyped.

Fresh, Flavorful & Worth the Visit! We had a fantastic lunch today at Café Patachou (4901 N Pennsylvania St), and it did not disappoint! My wife ordered the Chopped Cobb Salad, and it was perfection—fresh greens, roasted chicken, avocado, gorgonzola, bacon, hard-boiled egg, and more, all tossed in a delicious house vinaigrette. She paired it with a Lavender Lemonade that was as refreshing as it was unique. I had the Roasted Turkey Club—turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo all stacked just right. Super fresh, super tasty. I added a cup of the Tomato Artichoke Soup—warm, cozy, and totally hit the spot. Great service, relaxed vibe, and fresh, high-quality ingredients in every bite. Whether you’re local or just passing through Indy, Café Patachou is a must-try for a casual, feel-good meal.

Absolutely my favorite lunch or brunch spot. Broadripple location in my favorite because of the outside seating and atmosphere. Dog friendly also! It's a great way to spoil yourself on the weekend.

Cafe Patachou is always a classic when it comes to brunch. This location is no exception. We came on a Saturday at around 10:45 and they were pretty busy but thankfully there was at least one open table for us. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I went for The Omelette You Can’t Refuse with a side of cinnamon toast. Definitely one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. The cinnamon toast is also out of this world. Overall, if you’re in Indianapolis searching for a hyped brunch spot, this is the place! I’m obviously coming back!

Have a fabulous experience here. The outdoor seating had plenty of shade. I loved the ease of navigating the menu, being new at eating out and having my gluten allergy, it was clear what had a gluten free option or what was already gluten free. I had the gluten free french toast and some bacon along with the lavender iced latte and it was all 10/10! The waitress was very patient and helpful answering any questions I had!

Being a Butler student, this is the Patachou I have been to the most and my personal favorite location. While there are a lot of great options, I almost always get an omelette with cinnamon toast, hard to beat! The location gives it a nice, neighborhood feel. I feel Patachou is the best breakfast place in Indy, and given this is my favorite one that makes it my favorite overall!

Great brunch place! Order the Reuben but ask for the horseradish cream instead and definitely get the fries as a side. Service was great! Same "Mama" owner as Mama Carolla's next to it. 😋

I'm Asian and this was my first time having breakfast here. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very impressive, including the service of the waiters and the food that I had never ordered or eaten was very delicious. I hope I will go back here again soon.

The staff was very friendly, and our order was placed and received quickly. However, if you visit during busy hours, be prepared to sit quite close to other parties around you. It's also important to note that they will not seat you until your entire party has arrived. While my eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, the gravy was lacking in flavor, and I found myself adding a good amount of pepper to it. On the other hand, my friend really enjoyed her chocolate chip pancakes, and the hash browns were tasty. I might consider coming back in the future to try a different dish.

This was my first time at Good Morning Mama's, and it did not disappoint. It took the server a while to take our orders, but it was a busy morning. Our food was hot in everyone enjoyed their meal. We appreciated the cinnamon butter on top of our french toast, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the turkey sausage patties. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Awesome food! The ambiance was great. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were honestly the best I've had in a long time. One concern I have is the interactions with the staff. I don't know if it was a tough day or what, but they were very serious, direct and not much for small talk. But I'll try them again and hope for a better result in that area.

Very colorful restaurant which feels unlike most breakfast places in Indy. They have a unique menu that makes them stand out from others. Food was delicious. Recommend B&G. They were very busy on Saturday when we went but only waited 15 for a table of 3.

We stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. We waited about 5 minutes. The food was good. We especially enjoyed The So Bro Chicken. The staff was friendly and quick.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch! The menu has a lot of variety (great gluten free options), and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. Convenient location with a nice, upbeat atmosphere.

I have no idea why I haven't tried this place before. It's conveniently located in downtown Indy with plenty of paid parking spaces outside the restaurant. We tried their chilaquiles with an addition of chicken and the quantity was nasty. I would have been full without chicken since it already came with avocados and eggs. The best part was we could order a single slice of either pancakes or waffles or french toast so that we could have small quantities of something sweet to try. So we went with French toast which came with dressed oats, cream on the top and berries and a side of syrup. Their chicken sandwiches are also worth the try and come with a side of hash browns.

This was a quick and easy brunch stop to make. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with by warm and friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and had some of the cleanest bathrooms we have seen. The food was not the best (a bit cold and lacking flavor). But we'll chalk this up to being close to closing time for the location.

Got a little turned around walking there from the Gourdy's Pumpkin 5K at Military Park so it was almost a 2 mile walk after a 5K. We were definitely hungry upon arrival and this place did not disappoint! The staff was great and the food was quickly served despite being a busy time of day! Filled up on a good breakfast and then walked back. The location is great and lots of cool things to see. Would definitely recommend.

I’m giving it 3 stars because my bf enjoyed his food. However…putting chilaquiles on your menu and serving the plate in the picture is just insane to me. This my first time eating at this place and I was very disappointed. I want to know who in the kitchen saw this dish and was like “yeah! that’s the dish!! let’s send it out!” I tried it and pushed it to the side of the table because it was awful. There is room for improvement on this. The staff overall was friendly and environment was welcoming.

Yolk - City Way in Indianapolis is a fantastic breakfast spot! The corned beef hash was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection—crispy, flavorful, and hearty. Friendly service, bright atmosphere, Absolutely delicious... Highly recommend!

Was told this was the best breakfast joint, and IT WAS! The wait was reasonable and worth it. Service was phenomenal, and the food was delicious! I have zero complaints. It's amazing to know it works out to new places I visit the first time.

The place wasn’t bad and it wasn’t good. Seemed like this place really wanted to be an elevated “diner” experience with dishes like shakshuka and chilaquiles and fresh squeezed orange juice, but absolutely missed the mark. All off the food was heavily salted, especially the cheese grits, which could only be eaten with the fried egg that it came with. The service was good and the staff was very polite. The parking was a bit difficult because everything for a 3 block radius was metered on a Saturday with the rates per hour differing depending on the street. The interior was large and had a lots of space for groups. The coffee was good and bottomless! If I lived nearby and was extremely hungover, I would probably go to this place much more.

First of all, I'm glad that this place offers gluten-free alternatives without charging extra fees. So, for that, I am thankful. But the food I had was disappointing. My gluten-free toast was hard and burnt. My omelet was bland, no seasoning, not even salt. All the veggies were plain as well. The potatoes were lightly salted and pretty good, but I ran into pieces that weren't cooked fully. If the food was seasoned and cooked properly, then I'd come here again.

Service was quick and friendly. They have plenty of gluten-free options. My husband’s gluten-free meal was delicious! My French toast wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was solid. Overall, a great place for breakfast with something for everyone.

This was our first breakfast stop in Indianapolis for a weekend trip. The place was very clean, spacious and had a great variety on the menu. While the food did take a while to come out, it tasted amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. The French toast and cinnamon roll was specifically the best thing we tried. We loved the place, the staff were extremely nice and took care of all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Indianapolis.

Large restaurant. Fairly busy for a weekday. Server did a good job despite having a large group of 20 in her area. Menu tilts towards eclectic ‘specials’ as opposed to the more traditional bacon & eggs diner fare. Prices are very high - $6 for an OJ, most breakfast entrees in the mid-/upper-teens. I had the Corned Beef Hash Bennie. Eggs were well prepared, but the has base it was served on was mushy and overly salty. The corned beef hash pieces were tossed over the top and were excessively chewy. I wasn’t impressed. Would not return.

The restaurant was bright and clean. We sat at the bar and the other customers there were very friendly. Our waiter was also very friendly and he checked on us consistently throughout our visit. The drinks seem to be made inconsistently. My blueberry margarita was very light in color and really lacked flavor. My drink was almost clear, but in the picture on the menu, the drink was a deep reddish/purple color. I don’t think they added enough of the blueberry compote to mine. Two people sitting next to me at the bar had also ordered blueberry margaritas, but their drinks had a lot more color and looked exactly like the picture on the menu. I think my margarita could have been really good if it had been made correctly. I would rate my margarita 2.5 stars out of 5. The iced vanilla latte (spirited) was much better, especially when the cream started to melt into the drink and added a little extra sweetness. I would give the latte 4.5 stars. I ordered the classic French toast. If you like sourdough bread, you’ll probably enjoy it. I really didn’t enjoy the sour/tangy taste, and ended up wishing I had ordered something else. I prefer sweeter French toast. It was cooked perfectly, but I was hoping the French toast batter would be sweet enough to balance the tanginess out. But it still had a very sour after taste with each bite, that I just didn’t enjoy. I just think a different kind of bread would be better suited for French toast. I would give the French toast 2.5 stars. The scrambled eggs and bacon were both really good, 5 stars. My boyfriend got the bourbon chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it. There was no soap in the men’s or women’s bathrooms and it was only 11 am. Not sure how customers or employees are supposed to wash their hands with no soap. Overall, I’m glad we tried this place. If we ever come back to Indianapolis, it’s possible we would go back and try other menu items. But there are so many other breakfast options in the area, that it probably wouldn’t be at the top of our list.

This was a delightful way to start the day. Food was awesome. Forgot to take pictures before starting, but figured some pictures are better than no pictures. We got the biscuit and gravy platter and blueberry stuffed pancakes. Our server Shannon was so pleasant and really set a lovely tone for the rest of our day. Also, they have these cute ducks with little hats in a claw machine by the front door.

This was first time visit and it was all so good. I got the pancakes and sausage and it was enough for two meals. Great service.

This is exactly what we were looking for in a pancake house. Huge plates, lots of familiar options, and a large dining room. The service was impressive, down to the hostess. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious. Nothing revolutionary. Just good food. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and couldn't even finish it all. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a family-diner, type of option.

We were in Indy for a weekend getaway and stopped here for breakfast before we headed home. Awesome food!! My pancakes were delicious!! My stepson had the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were amazing also. My wife loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and her eggs Benedict. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended !!

I went with a friend to Lincoln square late morning. Our server was friendly and helpful and answered whatever question that we had. We received our food quickly hot off the grill. And as I remember still delicious! My friend had never tried their freshly squeezed orange juice so we shared one glass since I'm not supposed to be drinking that. She loved it so I know next time we go she'll be getting it. Once again I have to give Lincoln square downtown five stars because of the price, quality, service, and overall greatness.

I went in there with a party of 12 and was seated quickly. Our waitress was great and the food was amazing. It all came out quick and hot. I would recommend everyone to come here to eat.

First visit here. We honestly stopped because my grandma owned a restaurant, and her name was Ruth. I had no idea what to expect. Very cute vibe and friendly greeting when you walk in. I ordered a scramble with brisket, cheddar, and zucchini. Although I would probably have enjoyed a different meat choice, I loved the zucchini option and it was my favorite part of the scramble. Mine came with a cup of fresh fruit which looked great but I was too full to even take another bite. The sour dough toast was perfect with their homemade mixed berry jam. My husband got the 1/2 order of biscuits and sausage gravy with a potato cake. He definitely loved his breakfast and he’s a sausage gravy connoisseur! Ha! We’d both come back.

Ruth’s Café catered our annual Bootcamp & Brunch, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal! The food was exceptional, and the service exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made the event special. We will definitely be partnering with them again and highly recommend Ruth’s Café to anyone looking for top-notch catering!

Walking in, noticed the decor, gave a feeling of creativity. Very pleasant. Ordered simple biscuits & gravy since I was in a hurry. Was waited on, and served promptly. The quick, meal was great! In my opinion, best biscuits & gravy I’ve had around town in a long time.

We had a great experience at Ruth’s cafe! The overall vibe is rather small but the decor is pretty entertaining. We had a bit of a wait to get a table but they were fast at accommodating us. I got the French toast with eggs & bacon and it was fantastic overall. Overall, a good breakfast joint I’d recommend if you’re staying at one of the hotels at Keystone.

This is a great find if you are in the downtown area! It's very clean and there was no line. Our waitress was Amber, she was phenomenal! She went above and beyond very kind and super attentive. We had the Blackberry Bramble pitcher (or Blueberry) it was delicious. It wasnt a mimosa and it wasnt a sangria it was right in the middle. You should check out this location if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed.

I had such a great experience at First Watch! I absolutely loved their fresh juice — so refreshing and the perfect way to start the day. The service was top-notch. Shaniya was amazing — super sweet and attentive, checking on me regularly to make sure everything was just right. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict, and it was delicious! I swapped the salad for potatoes, and they were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Our fave food place when we visit Indy (I know FW is located in most major cities, but THIS location has special meaning for us). Convenient location & parking. Tasty food. Relaxing atmosphere. Food portions are ginormous. We had a pleasant interaction with every worker we encountered. But received OUTSTANDING service from Shane. Everything I requested, he delivered with a (genuine) smile. Will definitely stop in again on our next visit to Indy.

First time in Indianapolis and first time in First Watch. I can only agree with the other reviewers. The breakfast and service is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly. Brilliant start to the day. I had the millionaires bacon, shrimp and grits, purple haze drink and a can of coffee with enough for two cups.

Cozy spot with good service The café has a warm, welcoming vibe and the service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the tomato basil soup — it was rich and flavorful. The Eggs Benedict were tasty too, though I missed having avocado on it. The only disappointment was the “Watermelon Wake-Up” drink, which tasted like watered-down watermelon juice. Overall, still a pleasant experience!

Not sure what the deal is with this location and the abuse of salt... I've been to this location a handful of times and the food always comes out salty. The Mrs and I both ordered the incredible egg sandwich with potatoes on the side. The the sandwiches were good, but the potatoes were salted to the point where they were not edible so I decided to say something this time as the waitress asked us how the food was. I informed her that someone should tell the line cook to chill out with the salt. She saw that we didn't eat the potatoes... She made a weird face at us as she handed me the bill... Uhh ok? Same thing at the register. "How was everything?" So I told her too. She didn't even reply as she charged us full price... 🙄 WTH ever with super salted, over priced, Bob Evans quality food.

NK, is cozy. A nice environment for a first date. The food was simplistic—decent. The cinnamon bun we ordered must have been microwaved because as it lost heat it became hard and not edible. The star of our dining experience was definitely the late seventies and eighties music playing softly in the background. I sung and chair danced in my seat the entire time.

So my family had an all get together here one Saturday and I missed it. So I decided to take my wife and neighbor to see what the hype was they were bragging about. From the moment I walked in their words of positivity just start spinning and confirming that they weren't kidding it took me off my feet with heaven ♥️ in mind!!! I'm not kidding the place was clean, courteous, heavy astomostphere of appreciation. So we ordered and chatted while continuing to watch meals of every style cross our paths. What's that meal called we kept asking? Waitresses didn't hesitate to fill us in on the meals. Our food came out and looked like someone spent a day decorating it. Marvelous, pictures perfect and the smell was just as inviting as the food. We start eating and the table got quite . We couldn't talk anymore from eating the delicious food. No-one stopped eating!!! Bite after bite all you heard were moans (sorry) stay focused lol. Thep price of the food was worth the experience. We will be back soon. Continuing guys what you are doing you are off to a good start of gaining my family trust!!!

Blood Orange Margarita. I’m a regular and today’s specials were an 11 out of 10. Scotch egg & corn chowder - check it out before it’s gone! Really good food, fast service. Best potatoes in Bripp - hand cut and delicious. Definitely going on my Broad ripple list of great eateries

Not your average chicken parmesan…It was succulent, tasty and comfort food wrapped in one. The plate says it all!

I've stopped by for breakfast a couple of times and I've had a great experience each time. It's a nice place, very open and modern. Service has always been great and pretty quick, we never waited too long for our food. The servers are nice and welcoming, great customer service. I ordered the Kitchen"ette" Sink, it was so good. The gravy was very delicious, great flavor, you could taste the sausage but it wasn't over powering like most places. The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Potatos were great, I wished it had more potatoes but I'm saying that because it was good. I almost had a 2nd serving of this dish. We also ordered and omelette, which was really good as well. Well cooked, fluffy, and a great consistency. Great portion of potatoes with the dish. Great restaurant, service, and delicious food.

I had breakfast here this morning. This moderate sized establishment is in the corner of a small shopping mall. Just to the right of the north side social club. This place has indoor and outdoor (Heated) seating. Plenty of choices to sit and enjoy your food, table, split booth and diner seating. The restaurant has an industrial modern feel, with cement floors and a bright white colors throughout with a neutral decor. Small menu offered here, with a little something for everyone. Having never eaten here before I relied heavily on the opinion of my server. I was trying to decide between the Eggs Benedict and the Kitchen"ette" Sink. I chose the latter. The Sink came with a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy topped with breakfast potatoes, bacon crumbles, two eggs over easy and cheddar cheese. You can add avocado for 2$, or chorizo for 3$, which I did not. Must say, my waitress had good taste. I throughly enjoyed my breakfast. And I did get a side order of sourdough toast, for all my delicious sausage gravy. The Wife opted to sleep in again this morning so I brought her home a cinnamon roll. It looked wonderfully scrumptious and she agreed that it was “just that”. If your in Broad Ripple at breakfast time and want quick dependable service try here. I do believe you’ll like it. 👍👍

Great spot for breakfast! Order at the counter from the chalkboard menu at this charming spot. We stopped in on a late Saturday morning. Biscuits and gravy (traditional, not the spicy option) were out of this world! Grits with pork belly also quite good.

Ooookay…. I learned about this place off of Facebook and thought I would check it out. It’s a nice place but very small. So there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait for a seat. There is seating outside but it too is limited. Now for the food…..Unfortunately a lot of items were sold out so my options were limited. 🙈 So I suggest getting there early. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife had the Love Handle plate with bacon. The food came out hot and was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. Maybe today was a bad day. If you’re in the downtown area and you want some breakfast give this place a try.

Tried out this joint after viewing a FB foodie post - the food looked amazing! It wasn’t. Menu - It’s on a wall to the left of the register where you have to order. We felt pressured to make a quick decision as there were people waiting behind us. If you don’t have menus, why not at least place the wall menu behind the register where you can view it upon approaching the register. Also, they were out of chicken - the sole reason we came. So, I went the catfish with a waffle. Food - We only ate as much as you see in the pic. My date spit the catfish out into a napkin. She tried the pork belly with a waffle. It was just gross. The waffles were not special. I’ve had better at a hotel do it your self bfast. Syrup was hardened - you couldn’t pour it. I also ordered a side of biscuits & gravy. The gravy was good. The biscuit was uncuttable. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Granted, they were short staffed. I’m empathetic for the service industry. The food would have overcome the wait time. But it didn’t. Cool atmosphere as far as decor goes.

Yum! The biscuits are hommade and the grits are made with love. Everything has a hint of spice or pepper 🌶 in this place. You will leave satisfied, whether its the catfish biscuits and gravy, or the chick'n and waffles. Mimmosas flow, mortal combat will be available and the staff will treat you well. Go here for a meal. 🐔 🐟 🧇 🧈 🥓 🥚 Mmmmmmmmmm ... mm ... mmm.. mm... Mmmmmmuh!

Great breakfast spot after a long night out. I had the brisket potato bowl and my wife had jalapeño grits with pork belly. Everything was absolutely delicious. Had a very cozy vibe. It was a little pricey for breakfast, but they are serving a premium product, so worth it in my opinion. We'll definately be back when we're on that side of town.

The pasteries and the coffee is very delicious there the food is alright and the atmosphere is amazing the view and you can sit in the patio if you’d like very social environment.

I had the Love Handle sandwich for lunch and loved it. It came with fries which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure.

My best friend travelled in from Virginia this morning and metro was the first place i took her too! We had Kait as our server and she did a great job. Food and service was extremely quick and food was delicious as always

Amazing breakfast..super quick and delicious! Cierra was a very attentive server and I would give her 5/5 all around! Also the manager in training from Louisville, KY was so personable and she will do great at her new store in 3 weeks!

We had a wonderful breakfast here and wonderful service from Kayla! She was engaging, informative and very helpful! My kids loved their pancakes and I had the best cookie butter waffle! It was such a nice experience! Thanks again Kayla!

Got reservations for 13 for noon meal on Sunday. Say outside on covered patio. Waitress was helpful, friendly and professional. The restaurant employs a differently able young man for clearing tables. When I thanked the manager she said he is 'part of the family'. Kudos to this fine restaurant.

Adrienne was such a great server! She recommended two meals and we got both and were super happy with fried chicken and a burger bowl!

I never have had a bad meal here. The food has been great every time and I’ve had probably around 6 different dishes. This time was the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict and crispy hash browns. Once again, the chicken was cooked perfectly and tender while the hash browns were crispy like u like them. One of the best diners to eat at in the Indy area. Ciera was my server…did I mention she is one of the BEST servers that I’ve had here and they are all great! The chefs have it down. Good job! Thanks for the recommendation Ciera and I’m not an auditor. 😉

We went in for a late breakfast. I would suggest making a reservation which can be done online on their app. We were lucky to get a table. Our server Jackie was amazing , very sweet, personable and did her job well. The food was delicious. We tried a lot of different things. The hash brown was like a round hush puppies. Only the scramble egg my friend had was tough but otherwise from the coffee to the apple butter French toast was yummy. They also have a bar. Inner private section called the nest seemed like its for parties of more than 20 people. Don't quote me but call and ask. The atmosphere was lively and we enjoyed much.

The servers were pretty attentive. It is a well lit and clean establishment. Very good for children and family. Observations: A) I was impressed with the cleanliness of the silverware, almost no water spots. B) The condiments on the table were also good, but they could use a second set due to the length of the table. C) The coffee was reallyko good but could have been hotter. D) I had the eggs bendict, it was very good, possibly needed a little more hollandaise sauce. Also, the grits were a little watery but tasty. E) A little highlight was their in-house hot sauce. It enhanced the meal. It was a really enjoyable experience for a first-time visit.

Nice breakfast spot with excellent service. Out of the selection of breakfast cocktails I chose the bloody Maria which came with celery, olives and a slice of bacon. The crab cake Benedict was delicious though the English muffins were a bit too chewy. My side of fried potatoes were well seasoned but would have been better if they were crispy. Overall very good and I would visit again.

Ah-mazing service from Esther G. Weekday breakfast before a business meeting. 💜 Reasonable wait, great prices and delicious food. I highly recommend the country bowl although it was a lot of food. 😋 It was the first time I've enjoyed the biscuit and gravy combo. Perhaps the grits and crispy bacon 🥓 made it memorable. I also learned about honey marmalade. 🍯 🍊 My, oh my! Thank you! 👏🏼 The next time I'm in Indy (Carmel), I will stop by for another yummy treat.

We came for beignets per our six year old’s birthday request. Great service, great food and overall great experience. We used to live around the corner and loved this restaurant but came back a few days and experienced less than stellar food and slow service. Thrilled that our experience today was amazing!

Fast friendly service, and honestly the best breakfast food that I've ever had in a restaurant!

This was our first time to visit this chain restaurant that has a nice menu for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The food was really good - between three of us we ordered fluffy pancakes, thin pancakes, eggs, home fries, hash browns, and a sandwich. The only negative thing I can say is that while my hash browns were good, they were just a little dry. Everything else was great. I had a Turkey Club sandwich which was tasty. Nice balance of turkey, bacon, spinach, cheese, and pesto aioli sauce. Next time I'll get the home fries instead of hash browns, and that will make a perfect lunch. The pancakes were fantastic, especially the fluffy Dutch Baby pancake made in a cast iron skillet and the thin King Cakes weren't as thin as a crepe and really good. The restaurant was bright and the servers friendly. We got exactly what we ordered and while it was a bit pricey for what it was, the plate portions were good sized. Our bill was just over $60 for three of us. That also included drinks. I got Amber juice, a blend of pineapple, honeydew, ginger, and cucumber juice which was pretty good, for $6. There is a variety of menu items so we will be back at some point and try something new. There's a lot of breakfast/brunch type places in Indy and I always rate relative to other similar restaurants in the area. A Solid 4.5 rating that gets rounded down to 4 stars on Google's rating scale.

Nice staff, clean open layout. Chicken and waffles was a joke though with three anemic little strips of chicken. Not exactly the “speciality” we were expecting.

We walked in this morning and left 10 minutes into waiting at the table for no one to show up. Mainly senior citizen customers in a half empty restaurant at 10:45am on a Sunday is a bad sign. Service is unacceptable and the vibe was "dying waffle house". We went to Another Broken Egg down the street and had excellent service. La Peep is dead.

Sandwich was really good and I appreciate the substitution being easy. I am however curious why I was charged more for the sandwich(not the extras that makes sense) than what was presented on the menu? Maybe with the changes things are exactly accurate but It would be nice to know exactly what I’m paying before ordering.

Brunch was lovely, and the food was good. It was a nice atmosphere, and the service was nice, and the menu was priced reasonable.

I was definitely expecting a great breakfast based on their reviews, but I left disappointed. The Croissant French Toast was a huge disappointment, it was extremely flat and flavor without syrup was decent at best. The included fruit cup looked great, but the pineapple was basically the core it was so hard. The only plus for this place was the two egg omelette off the kids menu, which my son really enjoyed. Service was decent and staff were friendly. Overall if you’re looking for coffee give them a chance but pass on the food.

Food was OK. The menu was very misleading. The vegan options were basically a plate full of rice and beans with everything else that is not Vegan removed from it even though it said it had cheese and other ingredients that could be vegan if they had vegan imitation cheese and so on. When we brought that piece of information to the waitress attention, she just said OK. Some of the food was good like the vegan chickpea pancake. The waffle, grilled cheese was so plain and unflavored. And the turkey sandwich had massive chunks of turkey that were not very pleasant to eat.

So this place was a home run. I don’t know about everything else, but for omelettes this place is a home run We arrived around 8:30 AM on a hot summer morning, to which we were promptly seated. Service was excellent, and the plus to the omelettes, the eggs used are Vital Farms. These are some of the best eggs you can buy for not only quality, but also taste really great. If you’re looking for a made your way omelettes place, then this is for you.

I have the make your own omelet and it was good. Pricing leans upscale for a brunch spot, but the fresh ingredients and imaginative dishes make it worth a visit

A rare unicorn. In my experience, it seems like breakfast spots either have good food or good coffee, but seldom both. Cafe Patachou has amazing food and coffee. I had an omelet and my wife had a cuban bowl. Both were wonderful. Make sure you get some cinnamon toast to go. You won't regret it!

Great breakfast spot downtown Indy! Had the avocado toast with an egg, the seasonal pumpkin bread, and a hot matcha. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

It should be two pieces. 2) bathroom hygiene; add paper towels to enable customers to both dry hands and open doors safely.

We had an amazing experience here! We came for our anniversary dinner. The food and service were top notch! Stuffed mushrooms with a different twist I’ve never had before were amazing. Rigatoni with boar and the fillet was the best I’ve ever had!! Wedge salad and cheesecake were a bonus as well. If you want an amazing meal, come here!

Breakfast was good. Dinner was awesome! Lamb slider, rueben empenada, duck wings, marinated golden beet, mussels, the spnach pesto, pear and pecan salad, and the banana bread pudding! Atmosphere and service fantastic.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The evening we went was amazing. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was a Thursday, late evening and honestly we thought it was closed. But we were assured they were open. The staff were so kind and warm and welcoming. The food was immaculate. The vibes were perfect. 10/10 recommend.

We went for brunch before the Colts game, and although it seemed that they were a little understaffed, they were super friendly. We all had different coffees that were delicious and the food was very good. The staff noted we were going to the game, as were most in the restaurant and did their best for quick service with quality hot food. Definitely recommend.

My dining experience at S&S was uneventful, and honestly a waste of time. We were the only people in the restaurant for at least 45 minutes(this should have been a hint) but we missed it. We ordered shrimp and grits and pancakes. The grits were cold and the cajun shrimp wasn’t edible because it was way too spicy for me to eat. I sent it back and ordered a simple salad and coffee. The pancakes had little black specks on them which we concluded was due to the grill. They had a light onion taste to them.

My mom and I went to check this place out for an event and ate brunch while there. It was very good, but the five stars are for Jeffrey! He was so on top of things and very attentive. It happened to be my birthday, and he went out of his way to make me feel special. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend based on the stellar service.

Sometimes you just want good food with a home-cooked spin, when you don’t want to go out and have a trendy bistro style breakfast with weird sides. It was late morning, even though it had a good amount of people in there, lots of people talking but it wasn’t loud. I had no wait as I sat at the breakfast bar got served straight away ordered a pretty normal cooked breakfast, their menu is quite extensive and includes some pretty exciting Hawaiian dishes as well so there is plenty to choose from, but if you want a traditional style home cooked breakfast it’s definitely the place to go. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and got into a lovely conversation this morning, Will definitely be returning great atmosphere not loud not quiet no blaring music and the food was really good. It’s nice to get scrambled eggs that look and taste like scrambled eggs and not come out looking like an omelette.

You should immediately drop what you're doing and run to A2Z Café. Excellent food, wonderful people, comfy atmosphere, and great location (they have plenty of parking, with several slots reserved). I've never gotten a bad meal or lackluster service there. Why eat at a boring chain restaurant when you can get better quality, tasty food, and support a local business at the same time. Toasted bagels tasted handmade and they were perfectly soft and chewy. And great coffee!

Nice ambience, very clean environment. However, when I came in I greeted the worker, she just looked at me crazy and didn’t respond. Said thank you after she took my order, again met with a crazy look and no response (which whatever, people have bad days). But got a breakfast sandwich, it tasted like it was already prepared and thrown in a microwave: the center was cold, all the flavors just blended together like mush, the bread was randomly oily, and for $9.50 I would have been better off getting an egg McMuffin from McDonald’s. Very disappointing, I live close and was hoping this could be a nice local spot that I could support.

It's a very cute Cafe and the staff is super friendly. I took points off from the atmosphere due to how often the nearby high school kids take over the cafe. They aren't badly behaved, just numerous and always loud due to their number. I prefer the Alchemist a mile away with its fancy bar and more sophisticated atmosphere. It's also generally quiet

I would love to give this place more stars but over the last 5 years of coming here, I rarely have items ready to go when I’ve ordered them. I’ve waited an additional 10+ minutes almost every time I order ahead, hoping that “maybe this time they will have it ready on time.” I know things are busy and things happen, but an establishment should not offer ordering online for pick up if they are not going to have things read by the time someone sees it will be ready. Again this is not the first time but probably the 20th time this has happened over the years. I always hesitate to post because the workers are usually kind. In a few instances the workers cared more about whatever was happening on their phones than to start making drinks or beverages. I’ve worked as a barista before and know that things can get backed up when it’s super busy, but, alas, every time I’ve had to wait (which is every time) it is not busy at all in the cafe. I’m not sure if this system will ever be improved, I’d suggest not offering online ordering. While I may be one of few posts on here mentioning the amount of time I’ve had to wait, every other person I’ve talked to has said the same about this establishment: coffee is good for having a nearby shop, the food is decent and the workers are usually kind …. But the wait is always what takes a lot time and is upsetting. I’ve also heard that the workers only get paid minimum minimum wage… I know they get tips, but I still think this is absolutely absurd considering the price of most of the drinks one drink is easily them out that one worker is getting paid at the store… I’m not sure what the Reason is for not paying these people more but this is absolutely absurd. I think sparing at least three or more dollars to give them a higher hourly wage would make sense especially on days when it’s less busy… Again speaking as someone who has worked in the customer service industry before this just seems absolutely Ludacris especially in the year of 2025.

Such a lovely coffee shop in the neighborhood. I visited Foundry Provisions on a Tuesday morning and it was brimming with students and customers from all walks. The ambience is bright and airy with light streaming in through the windows and lovely art paintings on the wall. Foundry sells Tinker coffee which is a local coffee and ice cream + breakfast bagels and sandwiches. Win win! The patio is dog friendly and the red brick gives such a summer vibe to the space. Good customer service and happening spot!

First time here. We were seated quickly. There were 6 of us. The waitress was nice. We ordered 1 flight of mimosas, they were good. I ordered the Paradise French toast with a side sausage links. ( French toast with fresh fruit and a maple whip cream). It was very tasty. Overall, I thought the food was good , however, i think it was a little overpriced for breakfast.

Mornings seems like a typical brunch spot. We ate outside as it was a fairly warm day and it was very crowded and loud inside. The pricing is a little high in my personal opinion, the glass of juice was 5 dollars and it was less than half the size of the regular water glass. The waiter did accommodate my request for a half oj half cranberry juice, which I was not expecting. The Carne asada skillet was pretty good, the steak was juicy and well seasoned. The onions were very very large pieces and the rest of the food itself was not really hot despite the skillet itself holding much heat. The breakfast burrito tortilla was nice and crisp, and the fillings was well mixed so each bite had a good amount of each ingredient. It did have a weird almost film(?) to it where it had been cut, as though it had sat and kinda dried on that edge. It may have sat on a warmer for a little bit. The buttermilk pancakes were very good, fluffy, simple, hard to mess up. Overall, the place was busy of course for a Sunday brunch, our food (besides the kids chocolate chip pancakes) took a while to come out, so the temperature being less than hot is a little disappointing. Our waiter was great, very friendly and checked on us multiple times once the food came out. He was accommodating and courteous.

A very cute, clean, and delicious brunch spot! I've been here a couple times and it's always lovely. The service is great, the bathrooms are clean, and the food is AMAZING!!! My personal favorite is the Bad Hombre Omelette. My husband likes their skillets, but you really can't go wrong!!!

My sister and I tried this place for brunch midweek. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! I had the country omelet with (of all things!) A side salad with fruit and nuts toured with raspberry vinaigrette!!! It was perfect for brunch AND I didn't order hashbrowns! Ask things were delicious including the GRILLED biscuits! The only disappointment was the cappuccino from the extensive espresso menu. I was SO looking forward to a European cappuccino, but was disappointed by the weak taste of the espresso. I even ordered a single shot just to see if the problem was the espresso, and it was. I hope they figure that out which will make them a PERFECT 5 stars!!! Wonderful place. Probably the best skillet breakfast I've had anywhere. Some unique selections that make me want to go back and try them all. The biscuits are different as well, but perfect for a heap of their sausage gravy. Their drip coffee is very good, but they have fancier selections you won't find elsewhere as well as some adult beverages appropriate for a breakfast/brunch/lunch venue. Really good and friendly service. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went here today for the first time to try out the Hoosier tenderloin. I’ve heard a lot of things about the tenderloin and they were right it was great! It was thick, crunchy, spicy and large, not real large and not medium so I loved it. Gave the tenderloin 9. The onion rings were a pleasant surprise. They were large And crunchy and delicious and the onions did not slide out when you bit into them so I gave them a 10. I wanted to get a piece of that banana cream pie, but I didn’t have room to eat it. It was a good place to go.

Arrived from CO and came straight here based on our research of pork tenderloins. We were NOT disappointed! HUGE tenderloin with the biggest, crispiest onion rings ever seen. The Frisco melt and homemade beef and noodles were nothing less than perfection. Great small diner atmosphere, staff was fantastic as well! When in town, you must visit this place!

Local place. Old good time vibe. Beef and noodles not my thing but it was good. Meat balls with cornbread - great. Desert. Well i will not share how good was and how i would like it every day. I will not even give you name of desert you gonna have to show picture to get it- add black coffe and you are on way to time machine into good old times. Service was good and wifi didnt work - this way you can focus on the food and vibe not bullshit on internet. I hope I will be able to comeback.

Gave Steer-In a go after a recommendation from a colleague. Got there about an hour before closing and the staff was very cool about it though I could tell they were shutting down for the evening. I asked for a recommendation and went with the tenderloin sandwich and a side of onion rings since they were out of the fried chicken. The sandwich wasn't bad but I think I would have been happier with a burger or the meatball sandwich which looked really good too. The onion rings were tasty but I prefer a little more crunch on mine. I can see why this is a local staple. There's plenty of local sports gear and clippings on the walls. They also were on diners drive ins and dives apparently. I would come back to try the chicken or meatballs next time I'm in town.

For years I had passed by this restaurant, but had never eaten here. So the other day, I decided to do just that. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous to go here, cause I had heard about their shut down not too long ago. However, I'm a believer in second chances. And if Guy Fieri liked it, I believe it's worth trying out. I'm really glad I did, because this became one of my favorite diners! I love the old timey feel that vintage diners like this give off. Also the food was fantastic! I ordered a large stack of chocolate chip pancakes, corn beef hash, bacon, and a coffee. I was shocked by how huge the pancakes were! And their corn beef hash, was the BEST I've ever had. 🤯 Their breakfast foods are superb, however next time I gotta try their lunch foods and pie.🤤

Not many diner scenes like this left. Daily lunch specials. Vast menu options. Big breakfast menu. I had the fried green tomato BLT. EXCELLENT. Will be coming back to try the Beef and Noodles.

An absolute wondrous time dining at Petite Chou! They really set the bar with amazing foundational cooking and delightful menu options. The soft scramble egg with bordelaise was incredible and the side of crispy bacon literally melted on my tongue. I had a really beautiful latte which came with a palmier cookie. 10/10 all around experience. Can’t wait for some champagne next time!

We have eaten here 4 times now. Simply put, we love it. The dishes are very well prepared, and well seasoned. I’ve had the Fork and Knife burger (trust, a fork and/or knife is not needed), and I feel it’s one of Indy’s best burgers. I’m surprised that I have seen it on any of Indy’s best burger list…criminal. The burger is hand chopped, and tastes amazing. Twice we’ve been lucky enough to have Allen as our server, which has made our experience there so much better.

Best french onion soup I've ever had! The cheese board has awesome pairings too. Definitely will come back again!

Beautiful Brasserie in a convenient location. The chef features seasonal items and spins on staples, and really pays attention to detail. Ask for Gage as your server. He's a gorgeous man that will do backflips for you. But you better tip well! This place is seriously worth the trip.

Back at Petit Chu today with the wife and daughter. They both went with their go-to: the “Le Club”—a housemade pain de mie stacked with aioli, avocado, bacon, arugula, and chicken, paired with a petite bibb salad. It’s a refined, French-inspired twist on the classic club sandwich, and for them, it hits the spot every time. I decided to switch it up. Went with the Knife & Fork Burger: Camembert, Bordelaise, arugula, aioli, on a housemade brioche bun, with duck fat pommes frites on the side. No exaggeration—this was hands down the juiciest, most flavorful burger I’ve ever had. The flavors were bold but balanced, and the texture of the brioche held it all together perfectly. And those duck fat fries? Ridiculous. Rich, crispy, and loaded with flavor. Service and atmosphere are always top-notch here. If you’re coming for breakfast, the coffee’s strong, the omelets are spot-on, and the vibe is warm without trying too hard. Only gripe: it’s a little pricey—but not unreasonable. For the quality of ingredients and the care in execution, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. We always enjoy ourselves here. Already looking forward to the next visit.

It is a great restaurant with tasty options, gluten-free and dairy-free. The ingredients feel super fresh, the portions are just perfect, and the presentation of the dishes is beautiful. Plus, the service is quick and kind. I have absolutely no complaint about this wonderful restaurant - only that I have wished to tried it earlier and more times during my stay.

Went in for the first time this morning, and we had Quileo as our server, and he was amazing! Some of the better food and service I’ve had in a while, definitely recommend! They were quick with service too for it being busy on a Saturday morning. Give it a try for sure! Updated post since google won’t let me do another hahah This is from Feb 26th 2025 This is my second time eating here and once again, it was amazing. I’ve added photos of what we got, I ordered the potato tart and it was phenomenal. Everything here is unique which is so much fun, but they do have many different things to pick from! My mom a got the vegetarian omelette with a side salad that was also super good. Our waitress this time was soooo sweet but I forgot her name!! And if you’re looking for sometime to drink- the honey citrus lavender mimosa and blueberry mimosas were delish. Anyway. As always, give them a try!!

I was finally able to stop by and get some breakfast. The atmosphere was great, modern decor. Service was great and our food was brought in a timely manner. I had the Egg Tart, it was good but nothing special. The dish was well cooked, great texture and consistency. The pickled onions, in my opinion, help the dish out. Otherwise it would have been underwhelming. The Potato Waffle was really good. The texture was great, I've had it in other places but they've felt more mushy like a mashed potatoes. Even though it was a waffle the consistency was more of "Home Fries" which in my opinion was great. In my opinion the salad portion was a little too much for the dish but it was really good so I wasn't upset. Farm eggs, I don't think you can go wrong with this dish. It's a solid breakfast plate, simple but well executed. Soild place for breakfast but nothing special.

Had a great experience here. We got the chia pudding which was incredible. And the grilled cheese was awesome too. I split a salad with my daughter and it was huge, but delicious and fresh! Love all the ingredients! Even the kids' waffles were presented well. Our server was attentive. The staff was helpful. All around, totally recommend!

Popped in for a coffee after a massage next door. The entrance is via the adjoining hotel and the space is small but super cute. Service was pretty good. Friendly but less than attentive for the level of busy they were. I only saw my server when they brought my food and my check. I had to wait a significant amount of time for the check and to have my card run. The service wasn't the best but not a major detractor from the overall experience. I ordered a hazelnut latte and the cinnamon roll. Both were very good. The cinnamon roll was massive and had a delicious orange cream cheese icing. Not too sweet or overpowering. Definitely worth a repeat visit to try other items on the menu.

Came here for breakfast, definitely recommend getting some reservations as I can get very busy. We ordered a homemade Pop tart and cinnamon roll both of which were amazing, and goes great with the selection of iced coffee that they have. The farmhouse hash we had was incredible. So many great textures and flavors, it was more than enough to share between the two of us with our appetizers. Great experience overall. Fantastic service. Awesome atmosphere. The whole experience was great as one would expect from the Cunningham group cannot recommend them enough.

This place has a lot of character. The food is good the people are super friendly and nice I highly recommend. It’s small but they make you feel welcomed and the service and food was just great over all for sure I will be going back.

My son loves old diners, we found this one on an Indiana page and had to go check it out. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, met the owners (husband & wife)they was friendly. She was the waitress and he cooks the food. I would definitely go back.

Came for the Chocola, but the food was awesome. The owner was cooking when we were there and we had a conversation with him about his business and how he came to aquire the Chocola brand. The Double Wide was a huge helping of breakfast food smothered in white gravy and if I'm ever in the area, I'll grab one again. Absolutely no complaints at all! Small town America diner atmosphere right on the edge of the city.

Absolutely delicious! The owner himself cooks your food! I had the Mr. Big Stuff burger it was Huge. I could only eat half and without a doubt a 10/10! Go check it out. And of course I love me a themed Restaurant.

I’ve wanted to try this place for quite some time! It was well worth the drive from the other side of the city! The portions were generous, I certainly didn’t leave hungry! The service was great, they make you feel welcome right when you walk in! I could get lost in the decor all day, it’s a small establishment, but there is so much to see, I’m sure I will find something new each time I come back and I will certainly be back! If you’re in the city and you love retro diners like I do, this should rank at the top of your must visit places!

Great place to have a reasonably priced meal in a nostalgic atmosphere. We were just passing through but glad we found them. A small place with large flavors. Try the "trailer park"

First time coming here and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff treat you like family, breakfast was delicious and came out hot. Portions are huge and prices are much less than nearby places. This place isn’t much to look at from inside. It’s pretty small and dated, and more of a diner than anything else but it really doesn’t matter if you have great food and care about your customers as much as they do. I’ll definitely be back!

We are opening a new Globe Insurance office in the same plaza as Judy’s, and had never visited the restaurant before. The three of us were extremely happy with our meals. The servings are very large and the pricing extremely fair. We had Andrea as our server, she had a great personality and never missed a beat. I highly recommend this restaurant although they have so many items on the menu I would not know which one to recommend. Maybe try the BLT double-decker sandwich with a couple fried eggs!

Had my first real Midwestern breakfast here and I entered a new dimension. 10/10. (We came here by accident, but based on the atmosphere, food and awards on the wall, turns out this place is iconic in the area!)

Seen lots of good reviews. For me personally it was not worth wasting calories on. I had biscuits and gravy plate. The sausage patty appeared to be microwaved. The gravy tasted sweet with some mystery meat left it completely undesirable. I had 3 bites and nothing more. I have chosen not to return.

Had breakfast with a number of friends to end our weekend trip to Indy. Judy's did not disappoint. Hot, fresh, large portions. Judy came out and chatted for a few minutes. Love to see a company that has so many employees that have been there for years. A family business that emphasizes service and quality. Another great trip to Judy's!

Stopped by to grab something to eat before heading back to Nashville. My waitress was an absolute ANGEL! The food was outstanding. If you ever want a throwback home style diner? This is the place!

Four of us went to Just Judy for breakfast. I had a bowl of oatmeal with the fixings on the side and white toast was my choice of bread. It was delicious. We all had water and their choice of drink. I asked for coffee which was refilled twice. No one complained except for the one who felt he had too much food.

I stopped in this morning for bagels for my wife, daughter and myself. The guy taking my order asked how my weekend was. I couldn’t help myself and said it was terrible. Shared that we were down at Riley Children’s hospital for our daughter. He was empathetic and said we’d be in his prayers. Imagine my surprise when I found a Scotcheroo and Tootie Pop in the bottom of the bag for my daughter! Such a kind, human gesture. Ripple Bagel has always been a favorite spot when we come into town. Not only is the food delicious, but the people are even more amazing!

This place is incredible. We visit every time we are in Indiana. If you can't find something on their menu that you want, then something is wrong. They have a squillion different choices. Or build your own. Ingredients are all fresh and delicious. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Love the music they play, love the Grateful Dead tie ins. Can't say enough good about this place. Can't wait to visit again.

The bagel itself is worth the trip to Indy, but I walked in a bit early to pick mine up and I was wanting to buy a drink. The employee did not charge me and I was extremely grateful. My experience was wonderful. :)

After traveling the country the last 7 years, truly found home tucked away right outside Indianapolis. Listen, I would drive 4+ hours just to experience this all over again. The entire staff, were humans from an astral plane. Ripple Bagel and Deli will be recommended for years to come as my favorite place in a 200 mile radius. Best bagel, better staff, and incredible atmosphere.

Hands down the most amazing gluten for bagel I’ve ever had in my life. The texture and chewiness of bagels have been something I’ve been missing ever since I went gluten free over 10 years ago, but these were spot on. Will most definitely be back! Appreciated that the bathrooms were very clean too!

It’s sacrilege to leave NYC and buy bagels elsewhere, but I love love the bagels here and the way they steam them (makes it hot but keeps it soft and moist!). It’s been ~20 years since I’ve been here, and it was everything I remembered… SEC on everything is the only way to judge a bagel, and this hit the spot. My wife thought I was crazy when I told her about this bagel in Indy, but she really liked it also!! I will say that the everything bagel could use more everything.

Biscuits n Gravy are great! Others had bagel sandwiches and said they were good.

Stopped in here today to get lunch for a few coworkers and this is what I received. The hostess/waitress was extremely rude and disrespectful, and her name is Leslie. She sat us at a booth and we mentioned we wanted to place an to go order and then ignored us. A few minutes later, a customer came in and she went to go help that customer and got his coffee and started taking his order and continue to ignore us after we told her we were ready to place our order before she even gave him his coffee. We walked up to the counter and ask, could we place our order there and the manager was sitting there eating in her the entire conversation and ignored us as well. The manager stated maybe she didn’t hear us and we mentioned to her. Yes, she did hear us. We told her personally we were ready to place our order and she walked past us and still took the other customers order who came in after us. And we mentioned when placing our order for the euro the meat to be well done no onions, which there was onions on there, which I have an allergy too, and they were made aware of this we asked for the gravy for the turkey Manhattan to be on the side and as you can see in the photos, it’s all over The BLT had no bacon besides one piece the rest for just crumbs crinkled all over it. This is what they call their salad no salad dressing wasn’t offered any just a piece of leaf lettuce, olives, and peppers and two cube piece of feta cheese. I was highly recommended to stop here because other coworkers said the food was amazing and they had a great experience and excellent waitresses and that everyone was kind and friendly, which was the complete opposite of what my experience was today. And the waitress today I missed out on a Christmas tip of $100 so I hope that it was worth it for the entire staff to be rude and disrespectful to their customers you would think the manager would’ve apologized instead of The manager giving us dirty, looks, but was extremely nice to two other customers who paid and left. So if I could give this place a zero stars I would and I do not recommend this restaurant at all to anyone and I will tell my coworkers and fellow healthcare members not to eat at this establishment anymore.

Stopped in before our long drive back to Alabama. The waitress was awesome especially considering we had a party of 14 and a baby. Good selection of food but for those looking for healthy options I didn't see any egg whites or turkey sausage or turkey bacon. Other than that was a very good breakfast experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hot Cakes Emporium on Southport and Bluff is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Indy. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredible — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. You truly feel taken care of every time you go. My wife had the Greek omelet with a side of fruit and absolutely loved it. I had the gyro sandwich with fries, and let me just say — on point! The gyro is easily my favorite in Indianapolis, and the tzatziki sauce is just perfect. This time, we also tried the French toast — and wow. If there’s a gold standard for French toast, this is it. Perfectly golden on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with just the right touch of cinnamon. The syrup ties it all together — smooth, sweet, and buttery without being too heavy. It’s the kind of breakfast you don’t forget. And the fries… I can't say enough about the fries. Hot, crispy, golden perfection every single time. I seriously LOVE them. We’ve had their pancakes on other visits too, and they’re always top-notch. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. It’s one of the best breakfast and brunch spots around!

Emporium was uneventful. The pancakes were dense, and the egg white omelette was just as heavy—not what I was hoping for in a breakfast spot. Honestly, I’d rather eat at Bob Evans.

I had a great experience at Hotcakes Emporium Pancake House & Restaurant on Bluff Road. The food was delicious, especially the pancakes. They were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The menu has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, so there’s something for everyone. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The portion sizes were generous, definitely worth the price. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get quite busy at times, which means the wait can be a little long. But overall, it’s definitely one of the best spots in Indianapolis for breakfast or brunch.

There were two booths open in the area we always set. We were told we couldn't set in that area because they were getting ready to close it. They always start cleaning floors at 2pm but they stay open til 3pm so I assume they wanted to close that area to get started on cleaning. Why couldn't they start cleaning in other areas first? My husband told them "we are not playing that game." We left. This is a good way to encourage your regulars not to return. Without your regulars, you will eventually have to close. There is a "Rise and Shine" across from Kroger. All were friendly and the food was good.

I ordered (for delivery) 3 pancakes with bananas. It was delivered without bananas. I called the restaurant and was told to call back tomorrow. All I was asking is for a credit on the bananas and she wouldn’t do it. She told me she was out of bananas and said sorry. The restaurant should’ve contacted me to ask me what we could substitute it with, but they didn’t or they should apply credit back to my credit card. This is unacceptable.

Still awesome, I noticed that they keep decreasing the green burrito size. It's still tasty but it's tiny.

I ordered on Doordash. They missed half of my order. I didnt receive chips and queso, orange juice or sour cream. I got a breakfast burrito and a veggie quesadilla which were both not good. The quesadilla had very lil to no cheese on it. Its like they literally sprinkled 4 strings of cheese on a quesadilla. The burrito was dry and the eggs were hard and over cooked. Their were big hard chunks of sausage on it that was dry and nasty. Then they give you a lil salad with tomatoes on the side of each dish and it tasted like someones dirty hands. I immediately spit the salad out, I even threw up a lil.

Wonderful Mexican breakfast. The plantains were generous and cooked just right. The over easy eggs were firm with runny yolks. Chef D's food and service is consistent and satisfying.

The food here is AMAZING! The prices are great and the service wonderful. Very authentic Mexican food!

The Cafe had a weird odor. We ordered steaks cooked medium well with eggs over medium. We received flank steak that was well done, eggs fried hard and a slice of toast. You are not allowed to substitute the toast for pancakes. So we ordered three pancakes cooked thin. They brought us three fluffy pancakes. The waitress called another waiter over to translate.

Came to brunch with my bestie. We had a lovely time. Food was very yummy. She ordered the Little Joe with a Chocolate chip waffle on the side. I ordered the Basic Breakfast with Fried Potatoes and strawberry and banana on my pancakes. It was not overbearingly sweet for a breakfast which I loved. And the hashbrowns were not too oily as many breakfast places normally have. Would definitely come back to enjoy a good breakfast and chat again.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch after outpatient surgery at nearby Eagle Highlands Surgery Center. Great way to break pre-op fasting! The pancakes were excellent! Will definitely return again!

The food well the reason I stopped by, pancakes over cooked hard and cold, hash browns under cooked and cold, coffee weak. Not what I expected from the reviews. Probably won't be back. When I was living in Indy, I would always bring my husband lunch over at Allison's then head over to eat with my son who was a few months old at that time, That was over 12 years ago. In June, I brought my son back and it has not changed a bit. The food still tastes amazing, and everyone is so nice and great! Too bad I didn't get to say hi and thank you to Liz! We also brought back some souvenir shirts for my youngest! Can't wait to go back with the rest of the family!!!

My first visit here was like a week ago. I wanted a traditional breakfast so I ordered 2 pancakes with eggs and grits. I'm not sure what was going on with the pancakes from the moment I touched the top one to lift it to put butter on the second pancake it fell completely apart every attempt I made. I finally got butter on both pancakes and poured syrup over to see if they tasted okay or not. The pancakes did taste good what does syrup on but the whole falling apart turn me off from pancakes, maybe it is the recipe? I had a very friendly & young waitress so I stopped her and told her about the pancakes, she said ppl come to eat other stuff mainly & if I wanted something else and I said yes please some french toast. (Already ate my egg and grits) The French toast was good if I was to never know about sweet brioche bread. A lot of restaurants are using brioche bread for their French toast because it is sweeter, & taste better but this French toast was made from Texas toast as I guessed & confirmed with the waitress. I checked out my bill up front at the counter and I think it was the manager and she was very nice however when I mentioned my pancakes falling apart she was just kind of baffled... I took pictures, this is not me cutting the pancakes up...the pancakes taste good (I took a couple bites) despite falling apart, but I've never had pancakes fall apart like that at any restaurant Ive visited in my life. I would suggest either a better recipe for the pancakes or changing the name...

We went there for first time with the whole family for the fall break. We spent a year looking for a great breakfast restaurant near Greenwood. This is absolutely the best. Everything is phenomenal, from Country Fried Steak 😃, Crepes, French Toast ❤️‍🔥, Omelets, Pancakes, and, of course, their service! We lost count of how many times our family has come here, but we actually remember how delicious every dish was. Nothing is "mehh" like other places.

We absolutely love going to eat breakfast/ brunch or lunch to Yaya's . We go at least once on the weekends and we enjoy eating a homemade style food that our children also love. We absolutely love they make real orange juice, not from a box. The hot chocolate is also amazing and not too heavy. The hosts know almost everybody by their names since the people who go there become regulars at this place. I would recommend eating the Yaya Omelets with cubed potatoes and Nutella crepes. For children there is fresh oatmeal, orange juices, crepes or pancakes and a lot of other options. The chicken soup is also super tasty and we all loved it 😋

The coffee was good! My sandwich, not so much. I like mayo on my breakfast sandwich but they do not provide or keep on hand. Dukes Mayo would have been a very nice touch! Another customer told me she brings her mayo from Speedway gas station before going. lol By the way, the inside of the shop is nice but the outside is dreadful. There is absolutely no outside decor. The owners really need to look at some coffee shops on the north side and create a nicer, inviting shop on the front of the building. It really made me think run down when I pulled up. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’ll keep searching for coffee shops that check all my boxes I guess. ☹️ Update: Thanks for the review reply. Either for some laptop work or socializing, this is the perfect spot especially with their very well crafted drinks. I got the iced honey lavender latte with half syrup. The syrup is made in house and is well balanced. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem coffee shop in Old Town Greenwood near the iconic Suds Drive-in celebrating their 10th year in business. Updated, modern decor, and friendly staff. Delicious drink and baked good options. Chris got a custom medium drip with almondmilk and 1/2 shot of vanilla. It was exactly what was needed; not sweet but plenty of flavor. He also got the espresso brownie, its ooey gooey goodness more than made up for the lack of sugar in the coffee! Joy got the hot honey lavender latte. The flavors make it just sweet enough for her Southern palate.

For many, day begins with coffee and for some, it ends with coffee and coffeehouse five is a spot for everyone to relax or catch up with friends or a morning coffee date with your girl frnd or wife or boy friend. Their coffee is delicious & breakfast sandwiches were yum. Check it out folkes✌🏼

Great biscuits and dishes. We’re from a southern town, so it’s definitely not mommas cooking, but good none the less. Hot Chai latte with whole milk and an extra shot was a big hit, would definitely order again. She ordered an iced lavender honey latte and loved it as well. Right amount of ice, right amount of flavor. Not too sweet or over syruped. Service was super friendly and handled a busy crowd very well. I came back up to the desk to ask for an extra utensil, then again for a to-go cup, she was polite and timely and had everyone in a smooth motion of ordering. Not a long wait at all, food and drinks were ready in roughly 5 mins. This was a Sunday morning @ 10am. 04/08/2024. Will definitely come back and continue to try more dishes and drinks. Keep up the good work.

This coffee shop a fantastic spot to have casual conversation and great place to meet friends to hang out. The best vanilla latte in Greenwood and my daughter loved her Carmel macchiato, I also got the breakfast sandwich (biscuit) and absolutely loved it, will definitely be going back just for that. Glad we decided to stop by and try a new place.

Nice shop, clean, the maple carmella was good, the PB mocha wasn’t sweet at all, and the PB was chunky at the bottom of the cup. The nutty smoothie was good, however the cup wasn’t even full, no whip and no straws? Glad we tried it out, but nothing stood out for us to come back.

Everything here is delicious and typically spot on. Only lost a star because on our last visit, the tenderloin, which is usually one of the best I've ever had, was very disappointing. It was pounded so thin that the meat was virtually non-existent. I appreciate a proper tenderloin, but there should be more meat than breading, regardless of how good the breading may be. Maybe 1/4 of my sandwich was meat, the rest was breading, lettuce, and bun. Given that my last pork tenderloin from here was juicy, meaty and deliciously breaded, this was a big disappointment. I was looking for that experience, not what I got. That being said, the hash brown casserole is fantastic. My first time was the best, perfectly cooked and seasoned, but even though the follow up experiences weren't quite as good, still delicious.

I was really excited to try this place after seeing photos online. Unfortunately I felt the main food fell short. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffle was a bit soggy. The chicken wasn’t fried, but the flavor was fantastic. The French fries were crisp with a soft center. I ordered a French toast casserole that was a special and it had a really weird spice/flavor that was not edible for me. The customer service was great and they did take it off the bill without me asking. Their coffee special was a bourbon caramel latte and it was amazing! It had a lot of flavor and looked great too. I ordered the soup off the day; cream of chicken. It was really good and not what I expected based on the description given. There were potatoes, corn, peas and carrots.

Very nice option for breakfast, with a more upscale neighborhood bar vibe. Service was very friendly and our food was prepared very quickly. I had the breaded pork eggs Benedict, a traditional favorite with an Indiana twist. It tasted great and it was very filling. There are many drink options in the menu but I opted for a traditional white chocolate mocha, which was fine. Lots of parking availabe, definitely a good place for breakfast.

So much potential but everything just seemed disappointing in one way or another other than flavor which was pretty good. -cocktail was great no notes -tenderloin Benedict with biscuit and gravy seemed to have just been plopped on the equivalent of half a biscuit. Would have expected an open face biscuit with a large tenderloin pounded thin on top. Assuming that was one of their whole biscuits underneath, but other pictures don’t appear to be that way so idk I got. Picture shown is after I lifted the tenderloin/egg off the biscuit. The amount of gravy was dismal. I had to ration every bite and still barely had any for what it had to go with. the egg was over easy not medium as asked. -the well done hashbrowns look the same as every other picture, were dry/gritty tasting, and they don’t even bother to flip once to brown both sides That said, the tenderloin had a nice crisp/cook, the gravy tasted good, and the biscuit was fine. It was just overall disappointing in preparation and presentation. -My husband ordered the pancakes with “strawberries in syrup” and it came out with some cut up strawberries plopped on top, and a smear of whipped cream that slowly melted off. No butter on the table or pancakes. Had to request the syrup which food runner quickly brought out. Then our server was MIA until we were almost done. We’re told that the syruped strawberries are no longer offered (despite being on the menu). Not to mention, $1.50 for whipped cream? Bfr And overall there was a chilly draft in most of the place. So much potential if you could just nail down the execution, accuracy, and service.

I went for breakfast with a buddy. The server was very kind and helpful. The skillet breakfast meal was very good. The cold brew was great, the coffee cake was good, but the slice seemed small for the price tag. This is a great place to grab breakfast overall!

I'd say slightly above average for a breakfast place. It was about a 15 minute wait to be sat. Not bad because they were very busy. I love that they offer oatmilk for their lattes. Biscuits and gravy tasted good, though a little plain. The waffle was nice and crispy but came out a little on the cold side. Husband got the English fry up with french press coffee and a side of french toast. He said it was all pretty good. I would go back!

Jack's Donuts ain't got nothing on Long's! I grew up dedicated and always believed Jack's was the best.. NO WAY! Long's Bakery has THE BEST hot and fresh yeast! I'm so glad we finally stopped and visited! Will be my go to from now on! You have such down to earth and helpful staff ❤️

I’m very happy this donut shop is not closer to me because I would go everyday. This is honestly the way donuts should be made no bougie volant or voodoo donuts- just classic/ great donuts. Although I should mention they also make cakes, cookies, and an assortment of desserts. Parking is insane and it’s cash only. We got a variety box and EVERY donut was amazing. Expect a wait but the line moves quickly.

Most affordable and the best place in Indy to get donuts. I loved the peanut butter and jelly donut, glazed donut. These are must try. Apple fry is good too if you are willing to try. Don’t forget to carry cash if you are going. They don’t accept cards or any type of transactions other than cash.

Long’s is an absolute must when I visit Indy from The West Coast. The blueberry cake donuts and regular yeast are my go tos. Hat tip to the raspberry jam filled donut as well! Cash only and the line moves quickly.

Had 2 dinners at Conner’s while I was in town for the week. Comfortable and clean. Service was stellar and the food was outstanding. 1st night I had lump crab hush puppies and shrimp and grits. 2nd night I had the guacamole and steak frites. Definitely worth the trip. Thank you Darrian and Matt for the great service and awesome recommendations.

Dining here was incredible. We were told from the beginning that it was busy so we expected a long wait, but it truly wasn’t that long. Our server, Fitz, was amazing. He was kind and helpful and was thorough in his work. He often checked on us to make sure we didn’t need any refills or had anything extra to add to our order. He gave great recommendations of the menu and seemed to really enjoy the work he was doing. He also updated us on our order periodically to let us know where our ticket stood in the cook order. Fitz always met our table with a smile and got us anything we needed. If we’re ever back in the city, we will for sure be back and hope to have Fitz again in the future.

Went here before a concert at Everwise and it was a great start to our date night. The location is fantastic, and we loved the atmosphere as you walk in past the patio seating to the dining room seats. Our staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. We started with BLT deviled eggs, cannot get enough of them. Comes with 4 eggs, they are to die for. Started with peach cobbler (one of my all time favorite cocktails I've ever had - sweet, dessert like) and a spritz cocktail. My wife had the french onion soup (amazing deep flavor profile, incredible) and the shrimp and grits. These were the highlights reading other reviews and we absolutely agreed, the shrimp were amazingly seasoned. Grits were fantastic. I had the wagyu cheeseburger. It is massive, near impossible for me to eat assembled, ate it with a fork and knife. It was delicious, not as impressive as the shrimp and grits to be honest. My french fries with burger were all 100% perfect, wish I had enough room to just snack on these forever. Finished with the butter cake dessert which was so moist and delicious, very rich flavors, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We will definitely love to come back soon.

1st time experience. Food is exquisite. Great service. I ordered the shrimp and grits with no jalapenos but it was still too spicy so I ended up with the fried chicken. It was delicious too. We will return.

My partner and I were looking for the top rated food in the Indianapolis downtown area. Conner’s kitchen + bar appeared to have the highest ratings. The service was awesome. Our server was named Audrey. She was very genuine and appeared to actually care about her job and leading you in the proper direction. 10/10 for Audrey!! The food however, was not mind blowing for the price. Audrey suggested the smoked chicken wings (special spice) and it came with four different flavors. The wings were crispy and we enjoyed the hot sauce. We finished off with the burnt ends and they were a bit fatty, especially for the price. Overall, I would say if you’re looking for something more on the fancy side to attend to with your family / friends, connor’s would be a good option.

Eve was our waitress. She was wonderful. The food was amazing. We had the crab hush puppies, fish tacos and shrimp and grits. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. Food was 10/10, as was Eve’s service. We are out of state but will recommend to anyone coming to Indy. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

A nice donut shop to drop in for the obvious: coffee and donuts. The glazed donut was perfect. Warm, soft and sweet. The glazed croissant was something I had never tried and it did not disappoint. It lacks in seating but most people coming in were grabbing and going. It’s a homey atmosphere inside, with some cute neon signs and cute wall decor. Service could’ve been slightly friendlier but would definitely come back.

The proximity to the Capitol is the best part of this donut shop. I eat a lot of donuts so I’m pretty picky about donut shops. These were good but a little dry. I wish they had a larger selection. The building and the history of the area was cool.

I love a good fresh donut, and the coffee was quite tasty. A good stop for sure.

I ordered a half dozen donuts to be delivered. They put my iced donuts in a bag instead of a box. When I received my order, the donuts were all melted together and a huge sloppy mess. PLEASE, use a box when multiple donuts are ordered.

Cute little donut shop I stumbled across today when looking for a quick bite at lunch. The pumpkin spice iced coffee was delicious as was my cream filled donut. Cute atmosphere too!

Shitty customer service, just because i am on phone speaking and waiting on cashier doesn’t mean the bald guy there today cant greet or say can i get you today? Not coming there anymore!!! Just ruined my morning

So this review is based on an Apple Fritter that my son bought for me while I was in Indy last week. The Apple Fritter was $6 but it was huge (6 - 8” big - see attached photo). It was big, well made with plenty of apples and the glaze was done to perfection. I really like Apple Fritters if you can’t tell. My son and his girlfriend showed me the other donuts they bought and they also looked good although I did not try them. Next time in the downtown area, I will make it a point to stop by and visit in person. I need a donut like a hole in my head but can’t resist.

This is a large, busy coffe shop with lots of seating. Dirty Chai Latte with almond milk is delicious! One of the best I've ever had! The line was long, but very much worth the wait!

Girl friend is always looking for good coffee in the town and we have explored quiet a few now and obviously CFCC's coffee was delicious. We ordered a lavender latte and I got a Cafe Mocha. The staff is super friendly. Check it out guys.

Literally the best coffee shop in the United States. Customer service is top tier, amazing people! The coffee is spectacular and the vibe is just out of this world! If you live anywhere near Indianapolis it’s a MUST TRY! So so happy i tried this! Calvin Fletchers Coffee Company hands down checks all the boxes! Such great people with amazing hearts!

Wonderful coffee spot near downtown Indy. Very welcoming vibe. Calvin Pepper - cappuccino with honey and Cayenne Pepper - was an interesting twist to regular cappuccino.

As long as I could remember, I wanted to try them because of my last name…lol So today we decided to give it a try. I wasn’t too impressed. I ordered the vegetable omelet with a side of fruit and pancakes. The omelet was decent but it could use a little more flavor. The pancakes were fluffy but somewhat hard and dry. They give you whipped butter, and a lot of it, which is usually good but since the pancakes weren’t hot, the butter barely melted. As I always do when I order pancakes, I cut them in half because I never finish a whole order. So in the picture, you get a glimpse of what I ordered. I want to go back and try but I’m just not sure. The service was good, so that was a plus.

No pictures of our food, because we ate it all. Never have we been here and not had good food. Priced well and served with a smile. 😊 Our family visits at least once a month. Great coffee.

One of the favorites of Indy for a long time now and I can understand why. Was there this morning after a 5 am workout session ans wanting something that was open at 6 am. We live 30 mins away but still wanted to try it because II pass by daily on the way to work and was always curious about this place. Worth the wait! Wide variety on the menu and food is excellent! Service was even better. Inside is older and a bit worn down but clean and neat. Definitely returning.

Great place for breakfast or other diner style meals. Service was good when we were there.

Staff is friendly & helpful. Our food was delicious. A group came in & brought some unpleasant, appetite losing odors in with them! Otherwise, we would have been very happy. They do not offer desserts, & that is disappointing!

👏🏼 I wanna Applause the Cook that was working Sunday morning 6/22 around 730am Breakfast was amazing. Pancakes was not burnt . They were fluffy and golden brown. I had the hungry man skillet. It was perfect. Scrambled eggs was perfect. You need to work him more.lbvs I always have good experience with customer service and smiling faces

My guest and I truly enjoyed Blueberry Hill Pancake House. It was extremely excellent food, the atmosphere was very cozy. It was extremely filled with guests. The servers were friendly and the owner was on point with the greetings as when entered the establishment and it was very pleasant and warm to receive. Yes. Yes. Yes, I recommend Blueberry Hill Pancake House in Indiana. I surely do give them a Triple AAA plus.

A very substandard experience. Upon entering, the hostess was visiting with someone and there was an extended wait to be seated. Another extended wait for the server. My country fried steak was ok, not great, not awful. Home fries were room temperature at best. I was going to send them back to be nuked, but our server had once again disappeared. Don’t anticipate returning.

Very unusual omelette, it seemed baked and the egg was like bread. Maybe beaten with some flour? I've never had one like it. Pancakes are good, with a yeast flavor. Gravy is very good, thick. Spent $52 for 2 people, so, expensive. I asked if toast came with it, he thought I wanted toast then charged $4. Coffee is $4 so $52 in the end. We likely won't be back but we aren't from the area so....

I get what used to be called the Sunrise Special. Arrive before 8am for "Happy Hour" Discount on 3stack, 2 eggs, and 2 meats. I always get the bacon Pancakes here, poached eggs, and thick sliced bacon.

Sat w/ Jessica, a super friendly, outgoing server who did all the necessary things a good server should do. Checkbacks, suggesting, upselling. Ordered biscuits and gravy w/ scrambled eggs and pancakes. Biscuits advertised as fresh; they were far from it, hard as a rock, bot flaky. Gravy had little flavor as well as sausage, bot appetizing in the least. 3 pancakes w/ room temp butter. 2 eggs that were just cooked and not dry. Julie had a sausage and cheese omelet that was way overcooked and seemed like it was put in the oven to cook. She took maybe 2 bites. Also had pancakes. Definitely bot worth 37$. Huge failure in food quality!

Our server was Jessica. She was fabulous we wanted a quick bite and service was great. Quick to refill drinks. Food served hot delicious had pumpkin spice pancakes with the in house whipped cream. Bacon and ham were delicious.

The food here is genuinely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and for that alone, it’s worth a visit. Unfortunately, the customer service leaves much to be desired. One particular server/writer (not naming names, but easily recognizable- the red head) was noticeably rude and dismissive, which really soured the experience. It’s disappointing when great food is overshadowed by unwelcoming or unprofessional treatment. If the service matched the quality of the food, this place would easily be a five-star spot. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the potential is definitely there.

Small, locally owned family style dinner. Great for a breakfast/brunch/lunch meetup or hangout. Wide pancake selection. And a great skillet/omelette menu. Clean, friendly staff, and quick service. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a late lunch before heading back to Ohio on US Route 36. Decor is average, about on the same level as Waffle House. The staff were all wonderful! Very friendly and attentive. Generous serving sizes and very tasty. I partook in the Grilled Turkey & Ham Club with fries. It tasted as good as it looks. My husband got the Pork Tenderloin and Eggs breakfast. I’m sure I’ll stop by the next time I’m in Indianapolis to try some of their other offerings.

Great people! Great food! Good hometown feel. Very welcoming! We like to support local businesses while traveling. I'm glad we stopped in. We will for sure be back in the future.

Thought I'd try some new places closer to home. First, they have a few steel outdoor patio tables inside the restaurant. Very slick on top! Spilled my HOT coffee all over my leg!! Good thing my boots were waterproof! I asked for my eggs to be cooked over medium well. I like my yoke's gooey. As you can see by picture #2 they were over easy. More like over light they were so runny! Definitely not hot either. Last thing, seeing as how I am a diabetic I asked for no powdered sugar on top of my pancakes. What do you think they brought me!? I guess they just don't understand English very well. I swear I felt as if I was in a Mexican cantina because all i heard the entire time was people speaking Spanish. I'll never go back.

I love this restaurant! Their breakfast is amazing—Art’s Famous Skillet is a standout favorite. The servers are always friendly and quick, and the prices are very reasonable. The patio is also a decent spot to sit and enjoy a meal when the weather’s nice. Highly recommend!

The location on Pendleton Pike was bustling with business Sunday afternoon 6/30/24 around 1pm. Even though they were so busy, our group of 5 was seated quickly, and our server was quick and courteous. The food came out great, hot, fresh, with only a few minor corrections needed like I didn't want powdered sugar on my pancakes. And the server forgot a bowl of fruit to bring. Completely understandable as she was swamped. We usually visit the location on East Washington Street, but this one here has been a new favorite. I recommend you visit.

Good coffee nook with both indoor and outdoor seating. Not too noisy either compared to the "chain" places. Pass the bucks and stop here instead! You won't regret it.

My husband and I have been coming here for months, and Lulu's Bakehouse has always been amazing. The staff are very personable and funny, the music is always nice, and the food and drinks are always amazing. Lately I've been working my way through their "secret" menu, which is all staff made recipes, and it's been awesome. The entire staff are great. Everyone on the team is super friendly and I always love coming in and seeing them, and getting to talk to them. It's a very welcoming environment. It feels like a very queer-friendly place, and I'm never worried about bringing my husband in for dates and getting pushback as an openly queer couple. I am so grateful for Lulu's for all that they do and provide!

This is my favorite dog-friendly coffee shop in Indpls. Based on my travels around the country over the past 2 years, it is the most dog-friendly spot in the US! If you have a dog, this is THE place to go! The owner, Sejal, has created a special atmosphere. Her team, including long-time baristas Jeffrey, Zak, and Crowe, always greet me, and shower my dog, Mr. Bones, with affection. Newcomers Trent and Noah likewise are super friendly to me & my dog. As if that is not enough, many customers stop to meet Mr. Bones, who loves everybody, and they give him a nice rub on the head or the tummy. Oh yes, they also have great coffee, and I love the deluxe 3-cheese sandwich! Highly recommend it.

I’ve come here many times with various people and different occasions and seasons. It’s always consistent. I loved all there Chais and normally get some food as well which is very good. I love the food on display so you know what you are gonna get.

Love the atmosphere of this place! It was my first time there and when I walked in you could tell it’s a good place to be. The staff were laughing and were all smiles. Their customer service was fantastic! I ordered the lavender late and it’s great! Not the lavender isn’t too strong. I also got the bacon breakfast sandwich and wow! The eggs are perfect, and the pepper jelly is delicious! Great combo and the bagel was so soft. 10/10 experience and will be back

Provider Cafe has fabulous vibes. The shop is comfortable and full of joy. The syrups are made in house and you can tell. The lattes were incredible. My mom and I enjoyed the Banana Demerara Latte and the Peanut Butter Latte. We also had a double chocolate muffin and an almond croissant. The double chocolate muffin was moist and perfectly chocolaty! The almond croissant was one of the best pastries I’ve had in a long time. Anyone who loves coffee and treats needs to check this place out!

Lovely coffee shop that serves delicious drinks and food! Vibes are impeccable: neon lights, 1970s aesthetic gold, dark wood but also natural lighting. You need to check it out! Servers were really chill and friendly. Also, if you dine in, the place has you put away your own plates and trash. The return is located near by the register. There is also an event space upstairs that is accessible by elevator or stairs.

I’m only in Indy for two days and I picked 4 coffee shops to try and I’m so glad I found this one. I tried the banana latte which also had cinnamon on top and hands down the best banana latte I’ve ever had. Real banana inside not some fake syrup so I would definitely go back and try this again. My only complaint, not a big enough size.

Driving cross country and found this place when we got off the highway for a kid’s trip to stretch the legs at the park. Awesome discovery, great drink selection, tasty baked goods. This is the kind of place we love to find amid the gas station coffee stops and endless highway.

I genuinely believe that this is the BEST coffee shop in Indiana. Every drink on their menu is delicious, and you wont find boring flavors like vanilla or caramel. They offer something unique, a memorable experience every time you visit. The ginger latte is absolutely phenomenal. The staff is friendly and they get your drinks out quick, even when its busy. If I lived in Indy, I would be here every single day.

#4 Indianapolis Addition This the Spot!!! You know how I feel about Coffee and we have been impressed by what Indianapolis has to offer. But, Provider Coffee hits different! Provider Coffee is what Starbucks tried to do a few years ago. Offering breakfast, lunch, coffee, beer and wine, in an ultra laid back setting. Exposed brick interior with high top tables and awesome music is just the beginning of this gem. A self Serve pastry case with a variety of unique pastries is the first thing to great you. Massive Almond Croissants, Pumpkin, Orange, Cream Cheese Muffin(Yes, all that in 1 muffin) among others, all for the picking. Smiling faces that not only greet, take your order and make recommendations, but th3 staff also make it a point to be engaging with each guest. It truly makes you want to linger for awhile. Then, there's the COFFEE!! Specialty coffees like Pistachio Rose Water are just the tip of the iceberg. Along with traditional coffee offerings, teas, housemade Kombucha, seasonal Lattes, and a featured Latte! There is no way you can walk out of there without something! Too hot to handle, too cold to hold; had a Butterscotch Latte that was curated like a cocktail! Espresso, steamed whole Milk, with butter, piloncillo, and a flaming orange. WHO DOES THAT!!! It was so good. Didn't get a whole lot if Butterscotch, but MAN!!! He also had a bacon breakfast Sammy with TONS of bacon, fluffy egg, cheddar cheese, and pepper jelly, on a Multigrain GLUTEN-FREE bread!!! It was a mirage of flavors that just warmed the soul. The decaf tenderoni had their featured Latte which was Banana Demerara. When I tell you, it literally tasted like banana bread? Packed with warm spice, actual banana flavor, and a hint raw sugar. It was the best banana Latte I have ever had! Provider is one for the books!!! CHECK IT OUT!

The shop feels warm and cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Their seasonal coffee is a must-try, full of rich and dynamic flavors. The crepes are equally delightful, offering a perfect balance of taste and texture. The staff is friendly and passionate, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Neidhammer Coffee Co isn’t just a place to grab a cup of coffee. It’s a place to connect, savor, and support the local community.

Good coffee, as you'd expect. Crepes are impressive as well. Ample comfortable seating in a homey pre-industrial brick space, plus clearly some mixed utility which we love. There's a children's play area and natural light, it also looks like they're using space to rehearse a small theater play. Thumbs up.

Such a beautiful space with exposed brick, paintings and fully lighted coffee shop. The window panes are large and the leather sofa sets combined with the tables and stylish chairs giving a complete contemporary look. I ordered a 12oz Americano and a pecan sour cream coffee cake. The combo was divine, coffee so fresh in an aesthetically pleasing mug. The service was quick and super friendly. I for one did not face any issues with parking and I sat with my friends for a good 2 hours enjoying the country music which was very different in my opinion. I am yet to try their crepes but I can tell you the options are drool worthy! So on my list to visit again!

We’ve been coming here for several years now and despite a challenging pandemic, their hospitality, creamy froth, and kind smiles have never changed. Their espresso and lattes are deliciously thick and creamy. They often have seasonal lattes that you’d wish were available year-round. Their menu also includes sweet or savory crepes, which are made on-demand. Free parking is available out back in a small lot or street side.

The last 3 times I’ve gone here there was nobody there. It was 8:15a+ and the lights weren’t on and there were people waiting outside. Each time it took place on Thursdays. The sign said opens at 8…Management or somebody needs to step it up. This was once a nice local coffee shop but lately the hours and quality of product has been inconsistent. There are too many other good coffee shops options in the area for you to mess up on the basics (like opening when you say you’ll open). I’m sure there’s a reason or excuse but part of managing a store is anticipating and being prepared for staffing issues and no-shows. I’m rooting for them and hope they can turn things around.

I stopped by on Monday while on my break, I had a delicious latte made by a very kind barista called Cj. Definitely a five star experience! I will be returning, so excited to try other drinks.

This place is laid back and very inviting. The coffee was very good. It was nice to see a newer coffee house sever dark as well as light roasted coffee. The lady working the counter was very attentive and knew what she was talking about. The crepes we're good simple food. Not farm to table, yet taste and we'll done. Yes, I would go back. I would love to see the whole building.👍👍👍👍👍
