National park
Nature & Parks
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a popular destination for millions of visitors who come to enjoy its campgrounds, trails, and fishing streams. The park boasts incredible biodiversity and holds cultural significance for the Cherokee people as their ancestral homeland. Additionally, it is important to descendants of Scottish-Irish settlers who shaped Appalachian culture.
I recently visited the Great Smoky Mountains and stayed around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge — what an amazing trip! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look, there are rolling green hills, misty peaks, and endless forest views that make you want to stop and take pictures every few minutes. One of the most unforgettable parts of my visit was seeing several black bears crossing the roads. It was both exciting and humbling to watch these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. The park staff do a great job keeping the area safe and clean, and the roads are well marked, making it easy to explore. I drove up to one of the peak points, and the view from the top was just stunning — you can literally see the mountains stretch out forever. I also took a short walk into the forest trails, and it felt so calm and refreshing, surrounded by the sounds of nature and fresh mountain air. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have a great mix of attractions, local food, and friendly people, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend the Great Smoky Mountains to anyone who loves nature, adventure, or just a peaceful getaway. I think this is not a good year to see fall colors..

Do your research on the trails before you get there. We did not any phone service the whole time. Family of four, with kids. Paid for parking ($5). We got to do two trails which were super beautiful but the second one was a bit challenging with kids. Narrow and wet, rocky trails. They give you a map at the welcome center that shows the trails but the website will guide you better on the difficulty level. We were visiting and the smoky mountains was a must see stop. The drive alone was breathtaking, not to mention the trails. The view from the top (visitor area) was amazing. Plenty of restrooms available at the visitor centers. Was a dream visit!

Camped for 2 nights in the southern portion of the park and thoroughly enjoyed my time. You will encounter a substantial amount of fellow visitors but it still feels like proper wilderness. Creeks are plentiful and hiking any distance will take you through a nice variety of habitats.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a breathtaking masterpiece of nature that deserves every bit of its fame. From the moment you drive in, you’re surrounded by misty blue ridges that look like they’ve been pulled straight from a painting. The air feels fresher, the sounds calmer, and the scenery—endlessly photogenic. Whether you’re a hiker, wildlife enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates peace and quiet, this park delivers in every way. The hiking trails are beautifully maintained, ranging from easy scenic walks to challenging climbs with rewarding panoramic views. Clingmans Dome is a must—standing at the highest point in Tennessee, the 360° view at the summit is nothing short of magical. Waterfalls like Laurel Falls and Abrams Falls are easily accessible and stunning in any season. You’ll likely spot deer, wild turkeys, and—if you’re lucky—a black bear or two (from a safe distance, of course). Each season brings its own kind of beauty: spring’s wildflowers, summer’s lush green forests, fall’s fiery foliage, and winter’s peaceful, snow-dusted charm. And the best part? It’s completely free to visit—an incredible gift to anyone who loves the outdoors. The Smokies offer that rare feeling of connection—to nature, to history, and to something bigger than yourself. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how beautiful the world really is. If you haven’t been, pack your camera, lace up your hiking boots, and go. You’ll leave with your lungs full of fresh mountain air and your heart completely full.

Late October is our favorite time to visit the Smoky's. The leaves are changing color & the overlooks are breathtaking. The temperatures are great during the day, but they do dip quite a bit in the evenings. There is so much to do here, no matter what age group you are in there truly is something for everyone. If you haven't visited the Great Smoky Mountains, you really do need to add it to your bucket list.
Peggy G — Google review
Beautiful and so many hikes it would take you a month or more to do them all, and that's if you lived there and did one a day! You can print your parking passes ahead of time or in certain areas you can pay that day and have it printed. It's like a digital parking meter that spits out a pass. We payed for a full week and printed it at home. We saw bears, wolves, deer and your typical wildlife. Kids can do the hikes. If they are used to hiking 11 miles is do able. Just note if it says 2.5 miles, it may take you 2hours one way. Our first time 10yrs ago we asked a ranger which hike to do, they suggested Chimney Tops. They failed to warn us it would take 2hours up and 2 hours down. We were used to hiking yo we thought 2.5miles easy..haha, not here. We made it to the top, but made it out in pitch black with barley enough cell phone battery to light our way out. Start your hikes earlier so you don't end up like we did.

We visited the park summer of 2025 on a motorcycle trip to Tail of the Dragon. I absolutely loved the ride through the part. Amazing views and great riding roads. Fighting Creek Gap Rd, Little River Gorge Rd. Turned off on the Foothills Parkway which took us right down to Lake Chilhowee then right into the west end of the Tail of the Dragon and over to Deals Gap. Would ride again!

We had a great time visiting the Great Smoky Mountains Express during the fall season! 🍂 The scenery was absolutely beautiful with colorful foliage all around. The hiking trails were really good and offered amazing views. It was a bit crowded and there was a long wait time, but that’s expected during the fall. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and totally worth the visit. Would definitely love to come back again and explore more next time!

Had a great time here. About 50 cars to look at. Something for all age groups and genre of fans. They have tons of fast and furious, several marvel themed vehicles, older things like James Dean, the Munsters, Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith and so on. Good museum to check out.

Just a cool attraction. You have the chance to get up close to some of the most memorable vehicles from cinema. Great for kids and adults

There are a lot of cars from the Fast and the Furious. We really enjoyed the videos from George Barris as he explained how he came up with some of the ideas for cars that he had. There are cars from Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. There was also the Ghost Busters car!

If you’re into cars or tv/movies, this is a great museum to visit. With a variety of cars from many different time periods, it was a fun stop to see in Gatlinburg. There were (I believe) over 60 cars…and they are the originals, not replicas. Really cool!

We were really impressed with the Car Museum. The kids couldn't believe how many cars were here. There is a second level. There were 4 of us so the tickets were a bit pricey for all of us.

Nice collection of movie and celebrity cars. Iconic cars like the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, one of the General Lees, and the Batmobile. Also quite a few of the Fast and the Furious vehicles. A little pricey for what it is but still worth the visit if you’re a car enthusiast.

The Ober Mountain Tramway Mall is a long-standing attraction offering an aerial tramway ride to a mall with indoor amusements and seasonal outdoor activities. The tramcars depart every 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, providing visitors with stunning views of the area as they ascend to the Ober Gatlinburg ski resort.
Riding the Tram was an exhilarating experience! It was about a 10 or 15 minute ride up to the Smoky mountains. Seeing all the mountains and homes tucked in the mountains was amazing! It is an adventure for sure to ride the Tram. I will check out the Ober/Tram again . We were wowed all the way!
Gary F — Google review
I loved the Tram, the place up in the mountain is a bit old fashion, but it has nice activities like a small ice skating area, a small ice bumper cars, indoors carousel, zip line, rock climbing wall, live music, picnic area. What is really stunning are the views from the Tram. We got just the Tram tickets, they were good for 2 days, I suggest asking if they are valid for more than one day since they didn’t tell us anything when we bought them, we found out after.
Amripanda — Google review
It starts off with a tram ride that takes you up to Ober Mountain, where there are plenty of fun activities like a small zoo, aquarium, zip lines, swinging chairs, ice skating, and food stalls. The scenic views from the top may not be as breathtaking as some other parts of Tennessee, but they’re still beautiful and worth the ride. It’s a great spot for families and kids, and overall a solid 4/5 experience!
Shiva M — Google review
Average price for four is $130. (No first responder discounts, imagine that.) There is for military. The bear exhibits are now free, be prepared for a steep down hill and back up the same trail walk (it is paved for strollers or wheelchairs). If you park up at the top of Ober, do not expect to ride it down to town at the end of the day and then ride back up once you are finished. Last Tram moves at 6pm. If you are not on it then, well you can Uber up to the Ober.
Russ R — Google review
We had so much fun. In my opinion if you have kids and are looking for a day off fun for about 60 bucks per person it's one of the best. You get the tram ride plus tons of activities at the mountain top. Ice skating, bumper cars on ice, animal exhibits, sky lift to the top of the mountain (3,490ft above sea level), swings, wall climbing, shops, and the mountain coaster!!! You'll pay 30+ to ride just a coaster on the strip. I would recommend going and staying until dark. The views on the tram on the ride down at night is amazing. We have done so much here in Gatlinburg over the years but this was one of the best values and the kids had a great time. Not nearly as popular as Anakesta but offers the same type of entertainment.

Ober Mountain Tram, I thought this was. I need to give a big shout-out to STACY who advised us to get the fun pass. Loved the flowers in her hair. She is spot on. She has great southern hospitality, she is so knowledgeable! We had a wonderful day. Go there and spend the day. The fun pass includes the tram ride up, chair, lift up the mountain, ice bumper cars, ice skating, carousel and several other things. You will love it here. The mountains are alive once you get up to the top. It's a day trip. I forgot to talk about the Zoo at the top of the Tram Ride. Lisa was so loving to feeding the Otters. There was not a question that she didn't answer. Keep up the great work Lisa, you love for those animals shows.

Great experience! Beautiful views and we saw 3 bears playing in someone's yard below! My pictures aren't the best but really enjoyed it.

Ober Mountain is a popular mountainside amusement park in Gatlinburg, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. In winter, the ski area is bustling with snow tubing and skiing, attracting many locals and tourists. The summer brings artificial snow slides for year-round tubing excitement. Additionally, the park features attractions like the Alpine Slide, Ski Mountain Coaster, ice skating, and family-friendly areas. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, Gatlins Escape Games provide an exhilarating challenge.
My family and I had a great time! There was a lot that we didn't do since our kids are older but we still really enjoyed it! The tram was a little stuffy but still pretty neat, but the chair lift was awesome! The views were incredible! We enjoyed the ice rink and loved the wildlife area. We were able to watch the sea otters being fed, and the staff there was very friendly. You could tell how much she loves taking care of the animals. The staff at the front counter was also great. And I really want to give attention to the woman who helped us at the Leather Shop, I believe her name was Octavia. She was so much fun and a really neat person. She made something as simple as buying a jacket and hat into a very memorable experience!

This place is a must! You really get to spend a full day here for a great price! Staff is very friendly! Took the kids here on the last trip and they loved it! This time was a girls trip and we had the best time ever! Felt like kids again! Zip lining was the highlight of this visit. Our guides Shane and Robby were absolutely amazing l! They made us feel safe and were super funny! The views from the lines were absolutely phenomenal! You must put this in your list of things to do and experience everything they have to offer! We did the mountain coaster, bumper cars, tubing, zip lining, alpine slide, and visited the animal center.

It's fun, Octoberfest during the week for our daughter wasn't that busy. We enjoyed lots of the activities and spent most of the day there. Lots of the activities and equipment is for sure dated and needs some updating or improvements. Most of the employees were nice and assistive. The tram you need to get there at 9:40 to enjoy the views without it being crowded. We spent most of the day there and left about 4:30. Money spent was worth what we did as a total I believe. Ski lift to the observation deck was a nice and restful time.
Rob — Google review
Our family visited and turned our fun pass into a full day of adventure and fun. We parked on site and enjoyed the things for kids. We came for ice skating. We did that and so much more. Plus the tram ride to downtown was nice and we spent time in downtown before returning to ober. Less crowds due to weekday definitely made this more enjoyable. Be sure to visit the animal area. Our kids loved the others and seeing the bears.
Clint N — Google review
One of the must experience in Gatlinburg ! Breathtaking view from mountain chair is the best. The tram is also nice. The food is okay. Coaster ride was fun and kids liked it. We could not do zip line but next time we will surely do that first thing ! Overall, best day spent ! We were there for close to 6 hours and felt it’s not enough lol !
Amol G — Google review
The Zoo is after you ride the Tram up to the next level it's on the left. LISA at the Otter area is so helpful and friendly. Keep up the great work. You can see you love your job. There is so much to do here at Ober Mountain (Go Early and Stay all day). With the FUN PASS that is very cheap, you can ride the Tram(all day long), the Chair Lift(to the observation deck (a view that is breathless), Ice Skate, Ice Bumper Cars, lots of other things as well. See Stacy at the information area when you come in (on right) if you have any questions, she is so HELPFUL and full of KNOWLEDGE of this mountain. She has a great personality too. Keep up you love for Ober Mountain. Our first time there, not sure if we will be back to Tennessee again, but I will spread the word. I can really say that the Mountains come alive when you are up there. Keep up the great work all.
JoAnn L — Google review
This is a festival atmosphere during Oktoberfest. I loved all the activities for children in front of the resort! Next time I plan to go ice skating! I wish we would have know there is access by car because we were traveling with a disabled vet. The team ride is cool but this is not why you go to the top!
Leslie T — Google review
Currently they are having a summer sale and it is awesome! Two consecutive days to do activities (including the tram ride). We went there and loved the scenic views, the rock climbing, spider jump and the ice activities inside (bumper cars and skating). Their wild life enclosures were also awesome. We came around 5pm both days, be aware they do start closing things down by 7 (at least both days we went). And the last tram is at 9pm, it comes every 20 minutes starting at the top of the hour.

Pizza restaurant
Mellow Mushroom Gatlinburg is a vibrant chain pizzeria known for its creative stone-baked pizzas, craft beer, and calzones. The restaurant offers a variety of calorie-conscious options such as omelets with plenty of veggies, salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and even cheese-less pizzas with a gluten-free crust. This makes it an ideal choice for those looking to eat clean while dining out in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
Food was great!!! Sitting on balcony while eating was a plus. The service was too tier (ask for Jasmine or McCartney) when service is good the food taste better to me. I order the Mighty Meaty pizza and was full off the first slice, they don't short you on toppings! Also ordered the cloud 9 wings doubled oven roasted!! BANG BANG BANG crispy and flavorful.. Don't waist ya time anywhere else if you want good pizza come to MELLOW MUSHROOM Tvs to watch or watch the people on the streets either way you will be entertained, the people on the streets are more entertaining trust 😂🤣😂

We were here (5/27) following the busy holiday weekend. We stopped in an hour before close and the staff that was here this night were AMAZING. Working hard and remained so kind. I wish I caught their names. They were bombarded with large groups and made sure to still be attentive to us (2). The food was fresh, delicious and highly recommend the mocktails too!!

I really enjoyed my visit to mellow mushroom, we got in fast and the service was great. The pizza I got was so good. The mushroom flavor was great and overall I think it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The decor was really fun and psychedelic. Overall I highly recommend giving this place a visit.
Abby S — Google review
We ordered our pizza and pepperoni mellow rolls to go. The pepperoni mellow rolls were very good. The dough and the hot honey were delicious. We ordered a gluten free pizza, the crust was a mid grade frozen crust which isn't uncommon at pizza places. Their Doug on the mellow rolls makes me believe their actual pizza crust is probably really good. We appreciated they had a gf option but it wasn't anything to really write home about but not bad either.
Ross B — Google review
My fiance and I have never been to Tennessee together nor have we had food from Mellow Mushroom. Being our first time here i can say we really loved the food. The drinks were delicious, as well as the burger and pizza. Our server was kind and the atmosphere of the building was cool. But for the time we went (dinner) and there not being a lot of people in the dining area, I wish we weren’t put in the back corner by the bathrooms. It just felt weird being put in the back when there were many available tables in the front. The building is 2 stories, dining up stairs and a little bar on the lower level when you first walk in. Overall the food was very good and wished we had a Mellow Mushrooms in California. Definitely a place to eat at and try if you haven’t already.
Meghan P — Google review
We had the sriracha wings and they had great flavor. Cheese bread- I’d skip. Sauce for the cheese bread tasted like it had cinnamon or nutmeg in it. Odd. Mighty meat pizza good. Crust could have been a bit crispier- but overall good flavor! They weren’t busy. Good came out fairly quickly. Server was friendly.
Leah G — Google review
They have very reasonable pizza prices if you stick to the basics. Their spinach dip made for a great appetizer. If doing dine-in the place has a nice vibe.

Howard's Restaurant in Gatlinburg is a historic dining destination that has been serving delicious meals since 1946, making it the oldest restaurant in the area. The bi-level establishment features a steakhouse on the main floor and a laid-back pub upstairs, offering a sophisticated dining experience. Situated by Le Conte Creek, it provides a serene atmosphere despite its central location.
Service is prompt and friendly. We were quickly seated and tended to. The adult beverages are strong and will bring comfort to your tired legs after walking around downtown Gatlinburg. The mozzarella sticks are some of the best I've had, and apparently are made by their Italian restaurant next door. The burger was cooked medium rare as I ordered it. The bacon was not burnt or raw and wasn't lacking or excessive. Perfect compliment. The French dip was done proper. Bread was toasted well, without being burnt. No soggy bread! Fries were excellent, though the onion rings were not my style. Your mileage may vary. This is an upper class restaurant. Food, beverages and staff were top notch. The bill will reflect this. Well worth the cost!

The place is nice, and very clean. They have nice options. We got the 'Two Steak Dinners for $77' We each had an 8 ounce filet mignon. Really well cooked, tender and juicy. There were 2 sides as well. We had their lemon cream cake for dessert. It was also really good.

We had a lovely experience at Howard’s Restaurant in Gatlinburg! The ambience is wonderful especially with the relaxing stream flowing right beside the seating area. We ordered the fried mushrooms and fried catfish, both of which were delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken wings were delicious too. The food was great, and the service was friendly and attentive. A beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal in Gatlinburg.

I think there are a lot of overpriced mid restaurants in gatlinburg who take advantage of tourists. Howards i think is actaully worth the money and one of the better restaurants in downtown gatlinburg. The ambience/atmosphere was truly breathtaking. We saw a bear in the creek right next to us as we were eating our food. Server was great super personable and made the night better. The food wasnt AMAZING but wasnt bad. I got the pork chop and it was pretty average, but the mushrooms and carrot sides were rlly good and complimented the pork well. Neat American restaurant in Gatlinburg and would recommend for people in need of a casual american restaurant. 4.0/5

I love a great burger and our waitress aimed to please. I really wanted an all American burger but it wasn't on the menu, I asked or server and she said give me a minute, when she arrived back to the table she had asked the chefs if they would accommodate my order and be dammed if they didn't deliver. When you are asked how you want you burger cooked and you'll put an over easy egg on for me you are customer service excellence. The serving size was large and filling and had phenomenal flavor. Thank you for going over and above for our group we loved it.

If you’re looking for a great Bloody Mary in Gatlinburg this is the place. They serve a double pour and the service is great. Carly was awesome and the rest of the staff were personable and attentive. I would recommend place for everyone looking for a great meal and drink without all the hub bub. Don’t be afraid to walk to the end of town to get great food and drink

we got steak for 2. the rib eye steaks were cooked to the temperature we ordered and seasoned well. The French fries were outstanding! the broccoli was cooked to mush - inedible. the manager offered to bring me a replacement side dish. we got the jalapeño popper egg rolls - good but very rich. We enjoyed our meal and had leftovers.

Fondue restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
If you're looking for a unique dining adventure in Gatlinburg, The Melting Pot is the place to be. This fondue restaurant chain specializes in an interactive experience that revolves around delicious pots of melted cheese and rich chocolate, perfect for dipping your favorite treats. It's not just a meal; it's an event that creates lasting memories, especially for couples seeking a romantic night out.
I have always wanted to visit The Melting Pot but just never seemed to make it. Our 30th Anniversary was coming up and we planned a visit to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and my husband made us a reservation. We visited on Friday 11/8. Our table was decorated with rose petals, a half dozen roses in a vase and an Anniversary card signed by the staff. Our server, Ricky/Ricardo also known as "Ricky Bobby" was absolutely amazing! He had such a great personality, he was funny, attentive and well versed with the menu. I was so nervous as I had put this place on a mental pedestal yet, not once was I disappointed. The food was amazing, it was definitely a different experience, in a good way. The manager even came by to check on us and wish us a Happy Anniversary. I even got to take the roses home.

My girlfriend and I couldn't decide on place for dinner. We went, here. We were not disappointed! This place is a hidden gem. Great service, even for walk-ins. This is not a place to "eat." This is an experience. Our server, Rylen, was amazing. Knowledgeable, patient. Answered all out questions. Ask for her, if you visit. It's odd, in a restaurant, cooking one's own meal, but it was a true experience. Get the four course for two. You won't be disappointed. I recommend the steak lovers. My girlfriend chose the "create your own" with ahi tuna and shrimp. Expect to pay a little, but in the end, it was worth every moment. Reservations aren't necessary, but highly recommended.
James S — Google review
The food was fantastic, and the restaurant was neat, clean, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Lidia B. was our server and did a great job keeping our drinks refilled promptly. My only small critique is that I wish she had slowed down a bit when explaining the grilling times. Some foods take just 2–3 minutes, while others need longer, and the information was given so quickly that I ended up cooking everything a little extra just to be safe.
Melody — Google review
It's unfortunate so many negative reviews I've seen. We had the best night! Staff was amazing. Food was amazing! We did the four course for two. The whole experience took about two hours so I'd say it's worth what you pay! We opted for the private dining. Paid extra but to be alone was worth it. Give the place a chance we will be back!
Stephanie P — Google review
Nice place with a fun dining experience, however we did have pretty large waits better courses, we know severs have other tables and they could have been doing a number of things such as giving us plenty of time to finish courses, but our drinks weren’t being refilled until the food was getting changed out, which really sucked especially with the high price tag. If you are vegetarian you have to share the broth with everyone else, so be mindful of that. The cheese and the dessert was amazing but i didn’t like the garden pot they offered. Overall the food was okay, plan to be here for about 1-2 hours due to the type of dining experience.
Jayden L — Google review
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner with the wife for our 2nd anniversary! We did the 4-course dinner, with a wonderful paring of wine. Wisconsin cheddar, Coq A Vin broth, Yin/Yang chocolate. Server was very kind, had decorated our table w/ rose petals & had a card waiting for us from the staff. Will always sing this restaurant praises!
Krazy 8 — Google review
Food was amazing and staff was wonderful. We were in town for my cousin bachelorette party. We had a little adventure while we were there and I am glad I was in the right place at the right time. Will definitely be back and also be calling to follow up how everything went (had to be there to understand the wild situation ). We added what happened to my bingo card cause that definitely was not on it.

This was our first time here and I highly recommend! We did the four course meal and everything was delicious. Lidia was incredibly helpful and kind and helped make this a wonderful experience.

Old Dad's General Store is a great place to grab coffee, breakfast, and any supplies you may need while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With a walk-up counter, it's a laid-back spot that brings back memories from the good old days.
Really cool place. They have the little bottles of moonshine and lots of other snacks. The location is clean and the gentleman working was nice and knowledgeable. Ten out of ten recommend.

This place is great. Only place I could find near the main strip that has their own parking lot. Has just about everything you need while traveling. Quick food service. Not the best but priced great for what you get. Burger plates are great. Hotdogs have a funky taste but I think it’s just a different ketchup. Would recommend for a family on a budget! Will absolutely be a go to for anything we need.

Drive 8 hours through the mountains, wanted some food or snacks, looked this place up, had hours listed as opened til 11, got there doors are locked with the hours sign listing 11pm close. Went to the liquor store attached to it to ask for the time. 10:10pm. Maybe just don't list your hours if you want to close early. Really wanted to support a small business, guess kroger works too.

Tenderloin biscut was dry and had no flavor could not even eat the pizza here was worse than a school pizza or frozen pizza. Also the cashier forgot to put the pizza order back so we had to wait 30 minutes for a nasty pizza that my family threw away after a couple bites. General store is cool. I feel they should stop selling food. They were nice though!
Barney C — Google review
They're good at being a general store and the fact they're open 24/7. The food from the cafe was surprisingly gross (a cheeseburger and a BLT both went unfinished. Which was impressive because we were starving), so we went and got tasty food at Cumberland Jacks
Ang — Google review
This place was absolutely terrible. DO NOT GO. My family just wanted a quick dinner. We have many allergies in our family so we asked them to take off a few things on the sandwiches we ordered. My youngest asked for no mayo, mustard, or onions and what did they do? They put all three of those things on her sandwich!!! There was no respect for their customers and the cook was so rude. Worst experience in Gatlinburg yet.

My go to in Gatlinburg. Everything you could possibly need while traveling is here. Lots of premade breakfast sandwiches and lunch meals perfect for you to grab before heading out for your adventure.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Ripley's Mountain Coaster. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a vast marine facility in Gatlinburg, open 365 days a year. It houses over 10,000 marine creatures, including sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and penguins. The aquarium features interactive exhibits like the Discovery Center for hands-on experiences with animals. Visitors can also learn about the aquarium's Systems Control area that manages millions of gallons of saltwater. Additionally, it offers a glass-bottom boat ride experience.
My family and I took my son here so he could have some fun on our trip and he sure did here. He loved the selection of sea/ocean animals and the interactive games they had throughout the facility. We order tickets beforehand on TripAdvisor (we got them in a bundle) which saved us a good bit of money.
Savanna B — Google review
We have been to several major aquariums, and I have to admit that I was very tempted at first to rate this one as a 3 or lower, because it didn’t in anyway compare. It seemed to be only composed of small aquariums on the walls as we walked through. The contents of those aquariums were interesting and the video descriptions next to them were well done. However, when we were able to view the aquarium;s very large central tank with free swimming sharks, saw fish, rays, and other beautiful and interesting fish, I was impressed. On the lower level of the aquarium you can walk through a long glass tunnel under that that tank and get up close and personal with the very large sea life swimming over you. There were a few also some aquarium exhibits with sea life I had never seen before including one with what has to be some of the largest crabs on earth. These dwarfed king crabs with which we are all familiar. Young children seem to especially enjoy the aquarium. There is also a kids play area with a large multi level climbing and slide contraption that they especially seemed to enjoy. I guess that the $40 per adult was not overly expensive after all.
Rick G — Google review
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is an amazing spot for both kids and adults! It’s much bigger than you’d expect, with tons of exhibits to explore. One of the highlights is the moving conveyor tunnel, you’re surrounded by sharks, rays, and all kinds of sea life as you glide through. There are interactive displays, fun photo ops, and even a penguin walk parade that’s a must-see! The penguins are adorable and it’s a unique experience you won’t find at most aquariums. A great place to bring the family, unwind, and learn something new. Definitely worth the trip!
Sam — Google review
The glass bottom boat ride is a must! We had a good time, but for the price of admission we did expect some more sea animals. The shark lagoon area was our favorite; we went through a few times seeing something new each time. The parking garage behind the aquarium is the most accessible area for parking.
L C — Google review
The Ripleys aquarium is always nice to visit. It has a nice selection of species and feels unique with its design. My only 'gripe' is that I feel like nearly $50 for an adult ticket is a bit much for the size of the aquarium. The TN aquarium is much larger and it's only about $35. I still enjoy visiting, regardless though!
Renee R — Google review
Very good small(ish) aquarium. Definitely a must see for the kids and sea life enthusiasts on your trip! Fair warning, they are a bit pricey, but it's not horrible. They have a daily parade of penguins at 1:15pm as well. HIGHLY suggest though that you go early right when they open to avoid the crowds!
Alex H — Google review
Great experience for all ages in our group. Some crazy looking fish here, variety of sharks, turtles, some penguins, and many other sea creatures. Place was clean and had an amazing play area for kids and super cute fall decor when we were there.
Amanda B — Google review
From start to finish, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies delivered an amazing experience that had something for everyone. The underwater tunnel was a true highlight — there’s something magical about having sharks, rays, and sea turtles glide effortlessly above you while you walk through. Our kids were completely captivated by the mermaid show, which blended entertainment with an educational touch in a way that kept their attention from start to finish. Another standout was the penguin march — an adorable and unique moment you don’t want to miss. Watching them waddle by up close brought out the “wow” in kids and adults alike. The layout of the aquarium makes it easy to explore at your own pace, with plenty of interactive areas that keep little ones engaged while still being fascinating for grown-ups. Overall, this was a fantastic experience for our whole family. It’s the perfect blend of fun, education, and memorable moments — a must-visit if you’re in the Smokies.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, The Mountain Mall offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that's not to be missed. Unlike typical malls, this unique building is home to a diverse array of small businesses offering some of the best souvenirs in eastern Tennessee. With its six floors housing locally owned shops, visitors can explore an eclectic mix of goods including homemade candies, handmade jewelry, custom-blended tobacco products, original artwork, and much more.
Always nice stopping by this mall while in Gatlinburg. The decor is the same as I remember from the early 80's when visiting as a kid. Unique stores with friendly employees! Favorite store has to be the Pepper Palace 🌶

I really enjoyed this mall. It brought me back to when malls were the place to shop. It's super cute, chalked full of all kinds of fun, unique & adorable stores & boutiques. Recommend stopping in and wondering around a bit. They even have an arcade with a decent amount of games for the size.

This place is a Gatlinburg classic! I can remember my parent taking me here as a kid! I love how it’s old and rustic which some might think it is rundown…there are a variety of stores which makes it fun to look around. There is also a nice arcade on the top floor- especially if you like claw machines. It’s definitely worth stopping in and checking it out when downtown.
Megan W — Google review
The mountain mall has a little bit of something for everyone. Several floors of shopping from candies to hot sauce, cigars to clothing. Stopped in a couple new ones I hadn’t visited before just to browse. It’s worth a visit while walking the strip.

I loved the old and rustic style of the perfume store.
Dayara A — Google review
I liked the variety of stores, however I only really wanted to go to a few. It's good for a mix of people. The penny machine ate my money, half the stores were closed, and most of the elevators were not working. I think the maintenance of this building is lacking and maybe needs standards for when and how long shops are required to be open.

we had a blast walking around the shops and seeing what a side mall looks like on a busy strip!! reminded me much of Waikiki Marketplace Mall and many Florida beach area malls that looks much smaller from the outside until you truly walk in!!! Perfect tourist spot to compare your own hometown malls as well and take a breather from the outside craziness or cold/heat depending on time of year!!

This sweet little village is filled with so many hidden gems. Located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg this European inspired village is an experience in its self. Anakeesta is a popular outdoor adventure destination that offers various exciting activities such as zip lining, gondola rides, and a treetop play area. It stands out among other nearby mountain attractions with its polished and flashy features. Visitors can choose between an enclosed gondola or a chairlift to reach the ridgetop village, which boasts hanging bridges, mountain coasters, dueling zip lines, and an observation tower at the summit.
Great activity for families! We got discounted tickets which helped make the decision to go! Beautiful scenes and so many places to take pictures! Great places for children to play: rope bridges and slides! We got tacos and nachos and they were super yummy! We did the light activity at night. It was pretty, I wouldn’t do it with young kids again since it’s a lot of walking and it’s a gravel path so a stroller wasn’t recommended.
Amber R — Google review
Absolutely loved it here. It was a nice peaceful ride up to the mountaintop. And once you get up there the views are just absolutely incredible. Then you start walking up to the tower. Just go off the tower The view is getting better. So much to do here especially if you have kids. Unfortunately if you're a tall guy big guy you can't go through some of the activities which is on the standable such as life. But definitely a lot of fun this place. Especially during the fall time.. I would suggest go early though especially during the week. It can get pretty crowded really quickly. Especially if you park in the parking lot where they are. It gets crowded really quick.
Trucker684955 — Google review
I would love to give this a 5 star review just because of the stunning views from the "summit", however the 70 minute wait to get on the bus to get there was a major bummer (had pre-purchased tix online) I suppose I didn't research this, or Gatlinburg enough to realize it's a major tourist trap on par with the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. Too many tourists, too many cars for one road, thank goodness there was plenty of parking. If you are willing to wait a long time to get to where you want to go, this is the place for you. I, however will not be coming back, although I'm glad I got to see it once.
Ulrika W — Google review
I am in love with this place!!! So glad we went! You have the option of a ski lift, gondola or bus ride up. The ski lift had great views. Food and drinks were great. We added in Astra Lumina which was amazing! You have to do that! We walked the tree top rope bridges which was very fun too!
Renee A — Google review
Anakeesta is absolutely beautiful — from the moment you arrive, the mountain views take your breath away. There’s plenty to do for all ages, whether you want to stroll through the gardens, ride the mountain coaster, shop, eat, or just take in the scenery from one of the overlooks. Everything feels so thoughtfully designed and well-kept, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet full of energy. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and peaceful mountain charm. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Gatlinburg — you can easily spend the whole day there and still not see it all!
Rachel R — Google review
Beautiful, fun and worth a visit. Great food, amazing entertainment, and well worth the cost to see the views, walk the tree trail, sit around the fire, and enjoy yourself. A little busy so get your tickets online. The line was pretty long and the only sad part was being able to see how much Gatlinburg has taken from its natural beauty and filled the once gorgeous Mountain View’s with condos, hotels and houses, taking away the screen views and feelings many have enjoyed for so long. But Anakeesta was absolutely stunning and fun. It’s great for all ages.
Christina R — Google review
We loved it! By your tickets in advance! Better prepared to wait to get up to the park. The views are breathtaking. Staff very friendly and accommodating! I loved riding the Hellbender and ziplining. I recommend the pass, you'll want to ride the Hellbender twice! Food was better than I expected it to be! Astria Lumina is a must! It was peaceful and calming! The music was soothing and could invoke all your emotions!
Bridget L — Google review
I'm gonna make this short as possible. If you buy the zipline tickets, you don't need general admission. Of course they don't tell you that, so we wasted $80 on general admission that we didn't need. Side note, we don't have kids and I'm sure it would be a different experience if you have kids. But literally other than walking around and seeing some amazing views (we found way better views in other areas outside of Gatlinburg), everything is SO expensive. $16 for a shake, $12 for a walking taco, you get the point. You buy a ticket to go up and everything up there costs so much. The zipline and mountain coasters were the best thing about going up there, but that's about it. But I'd recommend just going to a place that is known for doing the zipline and coasters instead. The sky bridge is so packed with people that it'll take twice as long to get across because you're just waiting most of the time. Glad we tried it, but not our thing. We'd rather spend time hiking or doing crafts.

Ripley's Mountain Coaster is a thrilling experience located in Gatlinburg, offering riders the chance to control their sleds as they navigate through the forest on a track. The coaster provides beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains as it slowly pulls riders to the top before sending them twisting and turning back down. It is one of several mountain coasters in Gatlinburg, but stands out for its smooth double track and claimed faster speeds.
What a ride! The Ripley Mountain Coaster was way more exciting than I expected—an absolute thrill from start to finish! The views going up were stunning, and the ride down was fast, twisty, and just pure fun. Loved that you can control the speed a bit, so it’s great whether you want to take it slow or go full speed (I went full speed, no regrets!). It felt super safe and well managed, and the staff were cheerful and helpful throughout. Perfect little adrenaline rush with a mountain view—definitely worth it if you're in the area. We had a group of us go during the evening. Cat was our ride operator & she calmed our nerves being we have never been on one before. She answered all our questions & made sure we knew exactly what to do. I also had trouble with my seat belt being twisted and she made sure to help me until I got it right. After Cat made sure to ask if we enjoyed it & that we had fun & we sure did!! Will definitely be going back & hopefully she will be there again!!

This was so much fun! I was scared it was going to be crazy fast and more like a roller coaster but it is not at all! You control the speed so you can go the speed you are comfortable with. After I was comfortable I had it at full speed and it still wasn't crazy fast. I got off and wanted to go again.

Did this as an add-on with other Ripley's activities so it was very inexpensive. Wait time to get on ride was less than 15 minutes. Staff was polite and gave clear instructions for what to do. The ride was fun but short. The carts you ride in hold 1-2 people with a lever to control speed. The carts locked onto the rails and had wire fencing along both sides making it very safe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible customer service! My wife accidentally dropped her iPhone on the Ripley’s Mountain Coaster earlier this evening, and we were heartbroken — especially since we’re heading back to Ohio first thing tomorrow morning. We came back this evening hoping for a miracle, and thanks to Colby (I believe he was the manager on duty) and Gabby (worked the front ticket counter), we got one! Colby went above and beyond to take the time and initiative to safely locate the phone, and Gabby was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about helping us. They treated us with total respect and took our situation seriously from the start. We’re so thankful for their kindness and effort — they completely saved our trip. We also really enjoyed the awesome ride photos taken by the crew on my wife’s phone — such a fun memory to take home! Because of Colby and Gabby, I highly recommend Ripley’s Mountain Coaster to anyone visiting Gatlinburg. Outstanding people and an unforgettable experience!

Pancake Pantry is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Gatlinburg, known for its wide variety of flapjacks. Established in 1960, it has been serving hearty breakfasts for decades. The restaurant offers an extensive list of breakfast items including buttermilk pancakes and unique flavors like Caribbean Pancakes, Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and Sugar n Spice Pancakes.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the sweet potato pancakes—so good, I barely stopped to take a proper picture! The cinnamon syrup made them even better, adding just the right touch of warmth and sweetness. For lunch, we had The Continental with homemade chips. I opted to keep side since I’m not big on sauces—it had a sweet and tangy flavor that wasn’t quite my thing, but the sandwich and chips themselves were fantastic. My husband went for the hamburger with homemade fries, and both were a hit. Overall, a great meal with a few personal taste preferences in the mix!

Every bite tasted amazingly and was made with care. Honestly, this is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever visited, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Founded in 1961, Pancake Pantry is a must-visit classic. We waited about 20 minutes as a party of seven, but service was quick once seated. The place is big, lively, and a bit loud, yet conversation-friendly. The veggieburger was mild and could use a little more flavor, but the Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancake were absolutely delicious, fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, and sharing a pancake and a sandwich works perfectly for two. The fries were crisp and tasty too. Definitely worth the wait for the pancakes.

The pancakes were really good and didn’t taste bad at all. The omelettes were okay but not the best. The atmosphere was really nice and felt like a wooden diner. The waiters were obviously in a rush but that seems reason since it was packed. The waiting time wasn’t that long only around 15 min.

The crepes were AMAZING! I had the wildberry ones - outside of the taste I really appreciate how big they were, it was definitely very filling and worth the price. Alisha was amazing, always made sure to check if we needed anything, I especially appreciate anytime I don't have to wait for a drink refill when I'm at a restaurant haha.

Absolutely loved this place! It has that perfect cozy mountain town vibe that makes you want to linger over breakfast. The place is spotless, and the staff are friendly and efficient. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area and craving a comforting, quality breakfast!

It has been years since I have come for a visit. Always bring a friend to try the delicious breakfast. My friend had the sweet potato pancakes, which she loved and the sausage patties. I had the gluten free pancakes which was a first. They were okay. I just don't like regular syrup because of the processed ingredients in it, so I only ate one out of the huge portion given to me because of the syrup. The turkey sausage was good too. Before I came I saw on their online menu there was a gluten free crepe option, which when I asked I was told no there was none.

The food was pretty good overall, my wife did not like her hash brown. The atmosphere wasn’t awful, but more on the moderate side being that it’s right on the Gatlinburg strip. The servers and waitress were nice

Mexican restaurant
No Way Jose’s Cantina is a vibrant Mexican restaurant located in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a diverse menu of authentic Mexican dishes and an array of cocktails. Situated by the river, it provides both indoor and outdoor seating with picturesque views. The restaurant is known for its made-to-order sizzling fajitas, fresh burritos, chimichangas, tamales, tacos, and flavors from Baja, Mexico. Additionally, it offers combination platters for those seeking variety.
Outside seating was nice and cool in the stone patio. I was hot out that day and nice and cool to sit there with a beautiful view to enjoy while we ate. Quick service and delicious, authentic food. One of the highlights of our trip, I’ve wanted to try this place for years and we will definitely be returning!!

The food has no flavor. The service was extremely mediocre for being only one table in the bar. The portion size was fine but the food was just blah. The saving grace was the guacamole and the cheese dip.

Food is awesome plus they have the best prices in town. Super fresh homemade salsa super fresh chips. Super super cool decor like the ambiance is awesome. The music's awesome should check it out.You won't be disappointed

Food was okay, can’t go wrong with Mexican. The restaurant wasn’t busy. We were able to sit in the open are part of the establishment with a view of the river and intersection. Good place to people watch.
Miranda W — Google review
This restaurant was okay. It’s for tourists and it shows. The food is overpriced but it was close to the aquarium. We ordered the queso, guacamole, and 2 tacos each. The queso was over 8 dollars which surprised us and it came cold. The guacamole was okay. For the tacos, it was overpriced of over 14 dollars and you don’t even get rice and beans or anything else, just 2 tacos. Mine came cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted and I feel like I could’ve done better at home. The waiter was nice and that was the best part, everything else was meh.
Bruna K — Google review
Definitely some of the best tex-mex in the area! Our food came out fast and everything was super fresh. The waiter also allowed me to substitute something in a combo despite the menu stating that wasn't allowed.
Noah D — Google review
Somewhat underwhelming experience. Our server didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. While efficient he was not at all friendly or engaging. The food was not bad but it did seem to be a bit bland. We’ve been to this establishment a number of times through the years and it feels like it’s really dropped off.
Kelly R — Google review
Staff is very attentive, main course is solid; not expecting anything to blow me away. The food runner seems very lost; he asked us if 3 different orders were ours in the 20 mins we were sat before getting our order. The salsa was straight tomato water with pico in it.

Seafood restaurant
The Smoky Mountain Trout House is a no-frills eatery located in Gatlinburg, TN, offering a variety of local trout dishes as well as alternative options like catfish, prime rib, and Tennessee country ham. Established in 1975, this restaurant prides itself on serving the freshest Smoky Mountain trout sourced directly from the area's clear waters.
The Smoky Mountain Trout House is one of those spots that keeps it simple—and that’s part of what makes it great. It’s a small, cozy place that’s all about the trout. That’s their thing, and they totally nail it. I had the blackened trout, and it was exactly what I was hoping for: crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Big win. They also serve up homemade chips and hush puppies before your meal, which was a nice touch. The staff was super friendly and efficient. No drama, no fuss—just solid, helpful service. Parking’s across the street. It’s not huge, but it gets the job done.
Jordan B — Google review
Cool atmosphere; unique shtick (16 trout recipes). Apparently you can do your own fishing across the street..? I had the smoked trout; it was pretty good. My son got the fried chicken- he loved it. I avoided the common dad statement that I overheard from other tables several times over the duration of our meal; “we’re at the trout house and you’re ordering the chicken…” followed by several similar commentaries. It is a small place and the service is quick so you won’t have to hear that too much - either way, you’ve been warned.
B.D. O — Google review
Such a wonderful little location. Not a whole lot of seating. Was not a long wait on a Sunday night. Obviously not one of the hot spots. But man was the trout fantastic. They were great with a shellfish allergy. The wait staff was extremely friendly and nice. The wait was not long. And really can't say it enough the food was just fantastic.
Andrew B — Google review
If you are looking for a spot that the locals know, this is it. It's not fancy. But the food is excellent. We were here 9 years ago and it's just as good as it was then. They do have other things but they focus on Trout. You can go to the big fancy places and not get better. Can get busy as it's not a huge place. But give it a try. It's all about the food!!!
V M — Google review
This place is such a find!! The food is so good and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is small and they don't take reservations so I recommend putting your name on the list and walking to Gatlinburg Brewing Company at the end of the block for a delicious drink while you wait. Then get ready for fresh, home cooked deliciousness 😁 The blackened trout was fantastic! The hush puppies were soooo yummy. Enjoy!!
Danielle T — Google review
This restaurant has a very specific set of skills. Old school, cozy, mountain vibes and incredible trout. Everything they fry is amazing. The trout is incredible and everything is at a reasonable price. It was exactly what we were looking for.

This places is situated in the quaint little town of Gatlingburg, TN. It serves local trout and seafood grilled or fried. We had blackened trout and grilled trout seasoned to perfection. Just Simple and delicious. Highly recommend this place. The service is quick and the staff is pleasant. There is a wait time as its first come first serve basis. They also provide free parking right opposite their restaurant. I recommend to dine here atleast once if you are a seafood lover!

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, The Peddler Steakhouse has been a beloved dining spot since 1976. Its rustic yet refined ambiance and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. The restaurant offers an array of delectable options including grilled beef, chicken, trout, and a robust salad bar that comes with every entree.
We made a reservation, wanted a table overlooking the water. We arrived a few minutes early and they seated us right away. Our waitress had just seated a table of 16 people and we thought I we'd have to wait a while but she was in to of her game. She had the large group plus 4 smaller tables and never missed a beat and still had time to chat. Rare find these days. Ordered an Old Fashion (good choice). Hubby had the salad bar and said it was the largest and one if the best he's ever had. Had the ribeye with a side if fried. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Fries were typical steak fries. Our waitress visited several times and did not let the large group take away from her other customers. Loved the atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back.

We came here for a nice date night, and it did not disappoint! We got a filet mignon with a baked potato and a New York strip with steak fries. Both were cooked to perfection. We also got dessert and devoured it in minutes 😂 Our servers were super sweet and did an amazing job. I would say the only disappointment was they don’t have mashed potatoes on their menu, I made my own out of the baked potato so it was ok.
Emily T — Google review
Been coming to Gatlinburg since 2013 every single year have never tried the Peddlers steakhouse before. Not quite sure how this has happened but wow…… Reservations are strongly recommended. We reserved a few weeks back and got a window seat Creekside within the first 10 minutes of being there a black bear came down and walked the creek as seen in the photos in the short video. The salad bar was very heavily variety. I can honestly say that the smoked oysters and anchovies were the freshest I’ve ever had anywhere. The waitress and the staff was very friendly everything including the staff was very clean and in order and organized. The bathrooms are so clean you could eat in them. I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye medium, and the Wife ordered a 14 ounce New York strip medium. Let me tell you and all the reviews I’ve ever done which is very quite extensive over 10 states and probably 150 different restaurants or steakhouses. These are by far the best steaks I have ever eaten. If Gordon Ramsay was eating at the peddler, he would clap. This is a true gem and I cannot wait till next year to come back and revisit it again. PS I am trying to get reservations again before we leave. Fingers crossed. Bravo to the management and staff of the Pedaler truly, this was the most favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area.

We spent the later half of the week in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, and were so excited to eat at the Peddler before heading back home! We LOVED every part of our meal here. The salad bar was amazing and had so many choices! I overfilled my salad a couple times, but it’s hard not to when you like so many of the toppings offered! The 12 ounce ribeye was the best steak I’ve ever had! It was cooked perfectly and had such good flavor! Every one in my family absolutely loved their meals as well. Service was amazing and super attentive! We loved watching how quickly the staff bussed empty tables in order to have a smooth turn-over for people waiting to be seated. Beautiful scenery too! We will definitely make this our “go-to” place the next time we visit the area! 😁

Just wow!! From the service to our food! Our steaks were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Not overly seasoned so you can actually taste the meat. The salad bar was great, even close to closing time. The fired green beans were also great. Our new go to place while in town.

Great atmosphere; had a table by the river and we even saw a bear!!! Filet mignon and the salad bar were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations book out 2 weeks in advance, so try to get a river view! It is soooo worth it.
Jodi A — Google review
My husband and I made reservations about 3 weeks in advance and were extremely excited about The Peddler Steakhouse. They did not disappoint! The atmosphere 👌"chefs kiss". We reserved a late night table seated by the riverside which was lit up. During dinner we saw bears walking along the river and it was so cool. The steak was phenomenal!!! I definetly recommend getting reservations though, it was busy. Don't skip dessert!!!
Jessica W — Google review
We were extremely fortunate we got one of the last unreserved tables for the 5 pm opening, so definitely call and make a reservation because it is worth eating here. The food is delicious. They bring the steak to the table and you select the style and size you are interested in. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The shrimp was amazing. The meal does come with a salad bar and you will not go away hungry. They do offer the salad bar as a separate item, it is a standard one with your vegetables, toppings and salad options not one that is more buffet style with meats. The staff is amazing.

Distillery
Food & Drink
Sugarlands Distilling Company is a popular moonshine maker located in downtown Gatlinburg. The rustic, industrial-chic distillery offers indoor and outdoor tours, tastings, and live music. Visitors can enjoy a full seasonal cocktail tasting led by an expert TasteMaker, featuring samples of moonshine, whiskey, and more with tasting notes and cocktail ideas.
First time in Tennessee and glad we stopped by Sugarlands! $5 for the tour and if you buy a bottle you can use those $5 for a bottle of moonshine! You get to try 10 different flavors and there is a different selection every day! We stopped by two days in a row and had a great time! Travis looked like he hadn’t showered for weeks but still had us laughing the whole time and made our experience much more memorable. (He told us to say that in tour review, I’m sure he’s showered) all jokes aside make sure to stop by! And if you get Travis, EVEN BETTER!
David F — Google review
The Behind the Stave experience was a relaxed way to experience Sugarland's products. Jeff, our great bartender and host let us know that we would have an opportunity to experience new and unique cocktails in their distillery's speak easy, and that did not disappoint. The speak easy lounge has nice ambient lighting and mellow and loud jazz music so that conversations could be held without having to raise your voice. Jeff prepared 3 full sized drinks for us, two with moonshine and the third you had a choice of moonshine or whiskey. The first was a unique and a pleasant surprise, the second was delicious and a great brunch cocktail, and my third choice was a classic and smooth whiskey drink. The vibe overall was relaxing. Jeff was pleasant, and entertaining, all while not taking away from the relaxed atmosphere. Also, if you are a whiskey fan and want to pour and label and seal your own bottle of Sugarland's whiskey, that is an option you can purchase when booking. For the attendees who purchased it, they seemed very happy with the results and it was a neat process to observe. I do have two suggestions for the Sugarland Team,: 1) At the time of my reservation in early October, 2025, the package was advertised as including 4 drinks. However, Jeff let us know that prior customers requested full size drinks instead of 4 small drinks, so this change to three full drinks was reasonable. I suggest that the website be updated to reflect this change so visitors will know what to expect; and 2) While the website at the time of my booking stated a factory tour was included, there wasn't one at the 8:30 pm tour that I participated in. I would suggest updating the website to remove this because frankly focusing on the speak easy experience alone was worth it. Overall, these suggestions do not take away from the great job by Jeff or from this being an enjoyable way to be introduced to moonshine and trying local whiskey.

Gage is wonderful and kept the tasting going with his enthusiasm and energetic personality. His knowledge about the different products is unbelievable. You can tell he really loves his job and big on promoting not only the products but the company as well.

We just left this establishment and had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!!! We had Judge Abbey for our tasting and she "held court" above & beyond fabulous!!! She was very funny & knowledgeable! She gave great ideas for mixing the different flavors of moonshine once home! We would (and WILL) come back, hoping we get Abbey to make our tasting humorous, more fun, and soooo enjoyable!
Mom 8 — Google review
Out of all the tastings we did, this was the most fun and we liked the samples the best! Payton was such a fun bartender and kept us coming back each day. They also have a bar in the back where you can try some of the flavors they don’t serve during the tasting!

Mysterious Mansion

Haunted house
Mysterious Mansion is a Victorian-style haunted house in Gatlinburg that offers self-guided tours and spooky surprises all year round. This classic turn-of-the-century mansion has been terrifying tourists for over 40 years, with regular shows in October and special Halloween performances on weekends. Visitors can explore secret passageways, dark corridors, winding staircases, and chilling chambers filled with zombies and other frights.
If you’re looking for a good scare in Gatlinburg, the Mysterious Mansion is the place to go! Our group of two went through and it was terrifying in the best way possible. From the very beginning, the creepy atmosphere pulls you in, and every twist and turn kept us on edge. The actors and the surprises around each corner made sure we got our money’s worth. We screamed, we laughed, and we came out with our hearts racing. Definitely worth visiting if you want a spooky and unforgettable experience! Absolutely loved it
Bobbie B — Google review
Great time here. We are grown adults and did enjoy this a lot. I would say people that are easily terrified should skip, also this is not for young little kids at all. Lots of dark spaces where you will be feeling your way through with live actors jumping out and other effects to scare you. I enjoy this stuff and laughed often at the great amount of detail they put into this.
James M — Google review
Staff and actors were so nice and done a spooktacular job at making me scream. This was kid friendly so if your little ones get scared easily, then this should be one of their first haunted houses to begin their haunts and horrors. I loved the beginning where we had to find the opening door to begin our tour. It had a few slanted slopes so take your time and be careful. It’s very dark with some fluorescent tape for guidance. It has heavy bags hanging from the ceiling that swing. They had some steps that turn and twist. It was a fantastic atmosphere and very enjoyable with great prices.
Brandy T — Google review
I can’t give them enough stars!! The place is scary enough, the actors are fantastic and the ticket ladies are great!! I said I would only go through once but have been through twice now. Not sure how many more times I can take =D I also give them a shout out for coming out to scare you in between working inside and taking pictures. They also have a little coffin on the left by the gate if you’re facing the mansion for tips, so don’t forget to tip for the extra they do!! Can’t wait to go back for Halloween. Love you all!!
Melissa M — Google review
Old school haunted house. It had maybe 4 or 5 actors but these people inside were insane. Climbing up walls, scares from the sides, below furniture, ontop of furniture, jumping across a balcony to catch up to your group. The handful of actors made it feel like 25 people in this haunted attraction. Fun haunted you travel three floors up and down, I think even to the basement. Each room you have to find the way out meanwhile having people jump out at you. This is a jumpscare house. Very well decorated although it's dark so hard to appreciate all the details. The end of it the actors chased our group all the way to the sidewalk of river street. This was during the weekend halloween overlay but man was it fun.
Vibes T — Google review
This is a must do. I’ve been to Universal Halloween Horror nights in Orlando, a lot. What’s different about this place, is that they don’t rush you. You get to experience the house, 3 floors of it, at your own pace. Each room is themed and you enter via opening a door which in itself is intense.
Jason B — Google review
Brought our daughter for her first haunted attraction and we had an AMAZING experience! The haunt is high quality and well worth the price, the scarers were fantastic. I screamed my head off, and I really felt like they took care to tailor our experience to our comfort level. I will be going back again and again!

Scenic spot
Gatlinburg SkyPark offers an open-air chairlift ride to an 1,800-ft. overlook with stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. It features the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America, known as the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, offering breathtaking views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. The park also includes the newly opened Gatlinburg SkyTrail with Tulip Tower, providing ADA accessibility along its Boardwalk section.
This was just breathtaking, you must go and take in the beauty of the scenery!! The chairlift ride up and down gave me thrills! When you get to the top of the mountain, you have the view of Gatlinburg and the mountains! And crossing the SkyBridge was an extraordinary experience, especially walking across 30 feet of clear glass panels in the middle of the bridge, where you can look straight down! Not to be missed! Also, the town of Gatlinburg is just wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed walking along the Main Street area, with all the shops, attractions, places to eat, wineries, ice cream parlors.

Nice way to enjoy breathtaking views of city and Smoky Mountain. Overall ride starts with a picture, then you walk through info pictures sharing history. Then, begins the journey to reach towards Sky bridge via Sky ride. Ride is amazing, smooth and readily available. Enjoyed the highest bridge views with possible pedestrians walk.

Had a good ride up on the chairlift. Got a drink and looked over the waterfall display. Walked across the sky bridge and returned via the hiking trail by the tower. All in all was very excellent.

A great place to see the trees and explore atop the mountain... places to sit and enjoy the view, firepits, walking trails, food and beverage, too. Going across on the sky ridge was fun and not too scary...even managed the clear section of the bridgd, once my brain learned that I was supported.

The view is astonishing, however a little pricey compared to what you have to purchase in order to have fun. Every ticket is separated so per person be ready to spend at least $60, not including food or drinks. For you/us smokers make sure you smoke enough before going up. You will find a "Please NO SMOKING" sign every few feet apart. I had my fun and enjoyed the stay.
Antuan M — Google review
My wife, friend and I finally got to walk across this awesome bridge. Views from the top are breathtaking! It was a cloudy day. Rained all week but bridge didn't disappoint. Tickets are pricey but worth it. Plenty of places to sit and food smelled really good. If we had not already eaten at a pancake house, we probably would have bought a smash burger.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A once-in-a-lifetime view you’ll never forget! SkyPark in Gatlinburg isn’t just an attraction — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. The moment you step onto the SkyLift and rise above the town, the Smoky Mountains unfold in front of you like a painting. Reaching the SkyBridge feels surreal — walking across the glass panels in the middle is thrilling yet peaceful, with the mountains stretching endlessly around you. What truly makes SkyPark special is the combination of adventure and serenity. The evening lights from downtown Gatlinburg sparkle below while the mountain silhouettes glow in the sunset. The SkyTrail adds a perfect touch of exploration, and every viewpoint feels designed for that perfect photo moment. The staff are friendly, the facilities spotless, and the atmosphere is pure magic — especially if you visit close to sunset when the colors shift from golden to deep blue. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or with family, SkyPark is the heart of Gatlinburg’s beauty — a must-visit that captures the soul of the Smokies.

Visited the Gatlinburg SkyPark and had a wonderful experience…The trip starts with a chairlift ride that takes you to the top of the mountain where there’s a 30 foot Bridge with transparent glass panels in the middle where you can look straight down..The lush green vegetation creates a mist giving the mountains a signature smoky appearance..The view is beautiful in every direction..I felt relaxed and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere..

Ripley's Believe It or Not is a museum filled with an array of bizarre and unusual artifacts, including shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons. The Odditorium offers interactive exhibits, while the Gatlinburg location also features a mirror labyrinth, a 3D theater with moving seats, miniature golf courses, and a haunted house with live actors.
One of the biggest I've been to. They have many many different things that other ones do not. This is a nice size location and it's located on the strip so everything is right there. We went a bit later in the day and no one was there. We were able to fully explore without feeling rushed. Very clean. Lots of cool things to interact with.

Super fun (as always)! We’ve hit up 4–5 Ripley’s locations now, and every single one brings the weird in the BEST way. Different exhibits at each stop—so it’s always a surprise (and a photo op)! Shrunken heads? Check. Rope bridge? Check. A place where both kids and adults can lose track of time? Double check. Even better—my mom’s wheelchair was easy to push through the entire thing, which made the experience even smoother for all of us. We came, we saw, we got weird. Ripley’s did NOT disappoint. Thanks for the wild ride, @ripleysbelieveitornot. Stay strange! @bucketlistbabekc

This is definitely a tourist trap not worth your money or time. Lackluster exhibits and displays. I did enjoy a couple of things such as the taxidermy animals born with abnormalities and the recreation of the Hogwarts castle done with toothpicks. Everything else was mostly “meh” and was nothing beyond belief. For as much as the entrance fee is, it could definitely be a better, more worthwhile experience.

Nothing like most of the ones I've been to! It was def a fun time but very small not sure if I like how they broke them all up but I get the point $ it did make our ending of the trip a good time! But it is a little small which the price kinda shows that! I do like that they give military discount!

This tourist attraction offers a wide variety of educational, fun & interesting facts from all around the world. You can buy single pass or a combo pass and it's open until midnight. It has three floors and we start from the 3rd. You can take pictures, videos and explore as you go!

This was a blast seeing the different oddities. My family enjoyed reading and seeing the different artifacts. We went early and had no line and had no problems going through the exhibits.

Food & Drink
Located in downtown Gatlinburg, Ole Smoky Distillery "The Holler" is a rustic corn-whiskey distillery that offers tours and tastings of their award-winning moonshine. As the first federally licensed still in Tennessee, it's a must-visit for those interested in the history and lore of moonshining. Visitors can sample flavors like White Lightnin and Apple Pie, and even purchase merchandise to take home.
Had the best experience at The Holler! Did the premium experience and it was perfect! The team members demonstrating had the funniest dad jokes and explained the drinks really well. Ended up buying a nice assortment based off that employee and i am very appreciative.

Had the best time at Ole Smoky! Me and husband did their tour and tasting and Tim was so funny and such a good tour guide. We loved every single part of it and when we’re done touring and shopping we could sit on the rocking chairs and watch some of the live music going on. Would definitely go back!

It was difficult to squeeze in to get a tasting on a busy night. The guys that guided you through the tasting were exceptional and kept it entertaining. Lots of products in the gift shop and plenty of moonshine to buy.

Absolutely terrible place I was trying to get my stamps for the old Smokey moonshine trail and I have already been to almost all the bars and got my stamps and I went in to get my stamp and the bartender kicked me out because I was having shots that I payed for and I was with my girl the whole time and I jokingly said that you got more then me and when she poured it I said I can’t believe you got more then me and the bartender cut Me Of because of what I sad to my girl and i was playing around with my girl friend the bartenders name was Jess and she took my cups and said I’m done I already payed for my shots and everything so as I got kicked out for absolutely no reason at all because I was joking with my girlfriend I asked for the manger we talked for a minute and then she left for awhile I talked to Jacob he was awesome and I had no problem with him what so ever i got my money back from the manger on duty and left while my girlfriend got her stamp and shots and stayed until she was done with the taste tasting I think the girl that was the bartender need more training and customer service training and the realizing what’s going on with a couple and that where a happy couple and love one another and was playing around and ask more questions or something before kicking a paying customer out of someplace I have spent so much money with this company so I’m very upset but even tho I was talking to my girlfriend I got kicked out for joking with her I will never be back to this place ever again I have never had this happen to me I’d go anywhere else in pigeon forge and Gatlingburge and pigeon forge before I would ever go here again very upset and unsatisfied with the way I was treated

This place is quite an experience. Good vibe and tones of moonshine options. Highly recommend the tasting experience for $8. Totally worth it 👌. Got some moonshine to go too. Tasted great.
Satish V — Google review
Super fun spot in downtown Gatlinburg. They have an outdoor stage with rocking chairs to sit and listen to live folk music between the store and the distillery. You can read about the moonshine making process and the history. In the shop, you can pay a few bucks to do a fun tasting (they'll give you a $5 coupon to buy something when you do the tasting). Recommended!
Jamie S — Google review
We had a great time on the tour! Terry was a fantastic guide & was very informative about the distilling process, as well as being friendly and engaging. The small tastings of 13 different liquors were so fun! Terry talked about the background of each liquor & gave us ideas for drink and food recipes. We loved the products so much & purchased enough to get a free wagon 😂! I highly recommend this distillery & tour.

We went at sunset and it was amazing. Easy to find and didn’t have a problem finding a spot or anyone to take your picture. Watch the mountain roads!! They are super curvy. Can’t wait to go back.

I love Gatlinburg! This overlook was great because it is close to town and has a great view of the city and the mountains! With it being so close to town it was perfect for going early to watch the sunrise and then being able to make it back to my room to get ready for the day without losing a lot of time on driving. It was a busy spot for watching the sunrise.

We took a quick 4 day weekend trip to Nashville, TN and with just a single day in Gatlinburg, TN. The weather was beautiful and so was the drive up to Gatlinburg as the pictures show. I highly recommend taking the trip and seeing what the area has to offer. I would definitely like to return a little later in the season to see all of the fall colors.

This is a must do stop when in the Smokies. Bypass the hustle and bustle of down town Gatlinburg and check out some really great views. Beware this spot has become more popular so it might be a little difficult finding a parking spot at certain times of the year.

Oyster bar restaurant
Crawdaddy’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar has been a go-to spot in Gatlinburg since 2002, offering a taste of New Orleans with its Cajun and Creole cuisine. The lively space is known for its nightly karaoke and classic dishes like po' boys and jambalaya, as well as steaks and pasta. With outdoor seating on a balcony overlooking the street, it's a great place for families to enjoy both delicious seafood and entertaining views.
AMAZING FLAVOR! Ordered a cup of lobster bisque as a starter. Completely blown away by the flavor. The fried shrimp was delicious. Amazing waitress, she never let our cups get low. Overall great experience. I definitely recommend this spot.
Neky Z — Google review
We were sat by the bar and were tended to by the bartender. Service was pretty slow. Oysters Rockefeller were ok. I have had better and I would not get them again. The other food items were pretty good. Way better than some of the other restaurants in town. I would come back.
Christopher A — Google review
The food and service here are awesome! The food was not excessively pricey for the fact that it's seafood. You get a really good amount, especially the nachos! Everything was hot and fresh. Our server was a super cool dude. He was rizzing up everyone at the table 🤣.
Teresa R — Google review
We came here while waiting on the kids to get in town, there wasn't a wait and the food was amazing. We sat outside on the top floor and took in all the scenery. We got the crab legs and shrimp boil. Outstanding. They were out of oysters which is why I really wanted to go but the food was super good regardless. There's a guy walking around taking pictures of you if you like. He doesn't charge much either
Raine G — Google review
Nice lunch on the Gatlinburg strip! We love seafood, and the quality was pretty good. The lobster and shrimp dip was awesome! I also got the lobster bisque and lobster mac n cheese. Nice menu of cocktails! Heads up about parking - there are mainly $20 flat rate all day lots around but saw a sign for $10 parking near a church close by. There are two lots right by the restaurant.

Our server was amazing, though I don't remember what her name was (young Asian girl). She was great and came back to check on us numerous times. The food was really good too. Would come back here again.
Samuel H — Google review
I was so very surprised by this visit. This was not the experience I had it crawdads before. Let’s start with the long wait time with nobody coming to seat us. And then, when we finally did get seated, we sat there for the longest and even watched the manager walk by us multiple times and check on other tables and no one had even greeted us or said hello. I do understand being busy, but the restaurant was empty. Our waitress finally did show up. She was kind once she had a moment to finally acknowledge us, but she was also bartending so the service was super slow. The lobster that I had was absolutely delicious but the reason I gave the food menu rating is because a lot of the stuff in the menu is not even there. They changed the choices they, but yet the printed menu is still the same and that was just very frustrating. We watched the guy who takes pictures walk by every single table including ours and didn’t ask us if we wanted to take a picture . That was interesting because the previous two times we went to crawdads I paid for pictures that I have of me and my son l, but this time we were not even asked and it was truly quite insulting. That being said, I did enjoy the old-fashioned and the lobster as I mentioned, but the fact that they didn’t even have lemonade was unfortunate so I ended up having to order my son, a strawberry daiquiri virgin, because he doesn’t drink soda. We had crawdads on our must do list because of our previous experience, but I don’t think that we will return again.

Food was good. Nothing special. My youngest loved the cheesesticks he had eaten most of them before I could get a picture. Great place to eat and people watch on the strip in Gatlinburg if you sit on the balcony. Service was great and friendly.

The cashier wasn’t in the mood when she took my order. She wasn’t friendly and looked exhausted. It wasn’t that hard to take an order, but if you’re not enjoying your job, get another one. On the other side, there was a skinny white guy in all black clothes. He was filling a ketchup dispenser, and I asked if the other dispenser was ready. His response was, “Patience is a key.” I thought, “Who asked about patience?” Then he started talking in Spanish, and I told him I didn’t speak Spanish. Why were you talking to me in Spanish? He said, “I DO speak Spanish,” and he walked away. I talked to another associate and told her that guy needs to learn how to talk to customers. I asked her who the manager was, and she said it was the same guy. I was like, “Wow, he’s a shady manager.” My comment to upper management: Great job, whoever made that little kid a manager with that attitude! 👏👏

Visiting this location for a quick evening bite on the evening we drove into town from MKE. By far some of the sweetest, down to earth people ever! Very laid back yet friendly, greeting those who come in and giving friendly goodbyes. Such a different atmosphere for a fast food joint than im used to lol. Might be making this a quick stop every time I come back to Gatlinburg!
Peyris M — Google review
The food was delicious, but they are robbing people here. I’ve been to quite a few five guys in my time, this one included, and have always been happy with the cost of my food compared to the amount of food received. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, a little fry, and a drink and my total was $22. I thought with my little fry I would’ve had enough for 2 people, just like in years past, however it wasn’t even enough for me. CRIMINAL. They are robbing people of a typical five guys experience here and making a bad name for the company. I wouldn’t even say this experience was good.
Drew D — Google review
We ate here last night after finding a 2 hour wait to every restaurant on the strip. Was quick and was good, my only issue was they forgot mustard and ketchup on the hamburger.
Jeremy S — Google review
We had the cheese burgers (one regular-size, the other small). Both were delicious and of ample size. The regular fries came in a generous portion that was 3 times the size of the paper cup some of them came in. I'd consider the $40 we paid overpriced, but it's Gatlinburg. There are no "public restrooms," but when you buy something, you get a lock code for the restroom.
Jim A — Google review
How convenient of Five Guys right next to Baskin Robbins. The burgers are absolutely bussin, despite the overpriced items they have, it's worth it. I will say if you do end up getting the french fries, get the smallest size, they will put extra in your bag guaranteed all the time. I have to end up putting around 200 words on this review just so I can get the extra points for detailed review, but hey just go try it out. Plus it's near a famous area too 🤓
Dylan — Google review
Located on the main strip, outdoor seating available and indoor seating. It was not crowded when I visited, we ordered 2 double burgers with cheese and bacon and regular size fry, my total was almost $40 with tip. The service was good and the food was prepared quickly. The burger was good, but half way through one of the burgers the middle was still pink. We were disappointed with that, it was not worth the amount spent.

Smith & Son Corner Kitchen is a charming pub located in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a cozy atmosphere with brick walls and an array of interesting artifacts. The restaurant is known for its American cuisine and stunning mountain views from the balcony. Their menu features unique Smoky Mountain dishes such as dried chicken and smoked meatloaf, along with delectable barbeque options.
The food was definitely the best part- we got the Fish&Chips and the French Dip. The onion rings were SO GOOD. It was all hot and very well seasoned! The service was good and fast (for 130pm on a Sept Saturday) , not pushy or rude. We will definitely be back when we bring friends & family down to vacation!!

The food was delicious! I ate the Smokey Mountain Dreamin with roast beef. My husband ate Ribs and Tenders. Our view was beautiful and the waitress was awesome! Wonderful experience.

We stopped at Smith & Son Corner Kitchen earlier in the day, and it was such a great experience! The food was amazing — flavorful, well-portioned, and hot. My gin cocktail was customized and it tasted lovely. The hospitality stood out too — Aston was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. Looking back, we will go back here for sure. Truly one of the best spots in Gatlinburg!

We were seated immediately but it took a good few minutes for our server to approach us. The food was delicious. We got fried pickles for our appetizer that were breaded and seasoned just right. I ordered their house Cobb salad that was very tasty and fresh. My husband ordered the chicken fingers and ribs. The portion sizes were large and we will be going back when we are in town again.

Visited Gatlinburg over the weekend, and had dinner at Smith & Son for the first time. It was amazing!! We loved it so much, we went back the next night as well. Service was great, and the food was delicious! The first night, I had chicken & broccoli alfredo. It was Chef’s kiss! The second night, I had chicken fried steak, and it was equally phenomenal! I’m a huge mac & cheese lover, so I had to try theirs from the premium sides. That was without a doubt the BEST mac & cheese I’ve ever had!! Do not miss having a meal at this restaurant! The prices were very reasonable, considering the quantity and quality of the food. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Gatlinburg!!

Place was nice and service was good but the meal was a little disappointing. Small portions for the price and nothing really special about the flavor. Pictures are of the 'Smokey Mountain Grille' chicken breast with bacon, BBQ sauce and cheese and it comes with only 1 side. My wife got her BBQ sauce on the side. My mashed potatos were dry and I had to ask for butter to soften and flavor them up a little.

Let me start out by saying that this place is one of the best, if not the best, place to eat in Gatlinburg. The teriyaki wings were ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The yard bird was phenomenal! The Pit Master was top-notch. The fried pickles were ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING as they were gone before I could get a picture. The service was phenomenal (Ray). The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly. Love this place.
John E — Google review
Best place I’ve ate at on the strip. Great prices and great food. Our server was so sweet, I hate I didn’t remember her name. (She was young and had a septum ring). The fried pickles were so tasty and crisp. I had the half yard bird and it was delicious. I was so full I had to take half of it with me. Portions sizes are great. I had plenty to snack on later in my hotel. I love that they have ketchup, mayo, and mustard on the table (I’m a “mayo with my fries” person). Definitely skip the more “touristy” restaurants and go here. You get more bang for your buck, good service, and a great atmosphere with some very nice views. My only complaint is the Hellmans mayo (get Dukes lol)

Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Loco Burro Fresh Mex Cantina is a lively restaurant and rooftop bar known for its Tex-Mex fare, famous margaritas, and festive atmosphere. The vibrant establishment features sombreros, a mechanical donkey, and a modern-themed rooftop patio with stunning views of the Gatlinburg strip.
Brought 7 girls here on a Saturday night, got in with no wait and the food came out in less than 10 mins.. it was PERFECT. All the food was fantastic and the service (I believe our server was Nick?) was so great. He was attentive, funny, and so nice. All the food we had was tasty, I got the chicken chimichanga.. loved it. we would definitely come back!

We stopped here later in the evening on a Monday night around 8:30pm and ate on the rooftop, which did offer a nice atmosphere. It took a bit to get served, but service was decent from then on. The food was okay, but did not stand out or really impress. We had ordered one of their signature drinks, but were told they couldn’t make it because of being out of a certain ingredient. Overall, not bad but we probably wouldn’t go back.

I had the taco salad and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, and the portion was generous—it left me full and satisfied without being too heavy. What made the experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Nick, was an absolute joy—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find both great food and great service in one place, but this spot nailed it. Highly recommend!
Alyssa B — Google review
We stopped at Loco Burro hoping to enjoy the rooftop view, but the experience was very disappointing. All the tables were dirty, and we waited almost 20 minutes before anyone approached us. When I asked a waitress if it was self-service, she responded rudely, saying, “If you want us to come to you, don’t sit at a dirty table.” What made it worse was seeing other guests who arrived after us receive warm, friendly service while we were treated dismissively the entire time. The drinks and food were slow, overpriced, and not good. Overall, we didn’t feel welcome here, which was disheartening. Smith & Son Corner Kitchen nearby was a much better and friendlier experience. We paid a lot more than Smith & Son Corner Kitchen, and only to get insulted instead. Overall, the entire experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Amazing food and drinks! The service was great too. Both salsas are delicious and worth the price ($4 w/chips) and the drinks are fire! Everything we had here was phenomenal! Pictured are the chicken cheese and rice with a mango daquiri, and a chicken and black bean burrito with a Coronarita

We came here for lunch during our Tennessee stop we ordered a quesadilla and a burrito. They were average at best. Coming from Chicago, I’m used to much better Mexican food.. The tortilla chips were either overly salty or missing salt entirely very odd. Our server was very attentive and the drinks were correct. If more use to Tex mex places that have average food, then you will like this place. As for me I’ll pass next time.

Alcatraz East Crime Museum is a 25,000-square-foot museum located in The Island in Pigeon Forge. It features five galleries that cover the history of American crime, crime scene investigation, the consequences of crime, crime fighting, and pop culture. The museum showcases over 100 interactive exhibits and artifacts related to notorious criminals such as Al Capone and John Dillinger.
Experience! The Alcatraz East Crime Museum was absolutely fascinating! The exhibits are well organized and full of interesting facts about American crime history, from famous cases to forensic science. There’s a great mix of interactive displays, real artifacts, and educational information that keeps you engaged the entire time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere made learning about history both fun and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge — it’s a must-see attraction!

We visited on July 27, 2025. We had a wonderful time. There is not much for kids to do, so I would not plan to take kids. They will probably be bored. There also is not much room for strollers or for kids to run around and play. I would not pay extra for the audio tour. There wasn't really much to it. There are so many people and so much going on, remembering to play audio was another step to remember. There is a lot of reading. If you plan to read and take it all in, I would plan to be there all day. The staff wasn't friendly at all. We encounter one nice employee her name was Stephanie. Stephanie checked us out at the gift shop. You can take pictures as long as you do not use the flash on your camera. You can not record any video, though. Overall it was very interesting, we had a good time, the price for tickets wasn't bad at all, and the gift shop was affordable.

Enjoyed it a lot. Very interesting exhibits! A lot of really cool stuff. Price was good value for what was there. Loved how the place told the story of crime in America. Worth visiting.
David B — Google review
This was my first time to the crime museum after several visits to the area. I arrived at 6pm with a 9pm closing time. Though I only saw about half of all the information there is to offer, I enjoyed everything I saw. Around 815pm I heard a voice saying things along the lines of "You need to hurry up. We dont have all night." I just figured it was a visitor trying to hurry their group along. As I continued through the museum, I heard more comments such as, "The museum closes at 9. We need to move along." I still didn't know who was making the comments. I had seen an employee passing through the spaces after 8pm, but hadn't given any thought to it. At about 8:25 pm I saw the employee speak to another employee, in an obvious manner so we visitors could here, "If people want to stop and look at everything, they need to get here earlier. They need to stop letting people in this late. I want to go home." I wasn't aware how far along in the museum I was, so hurried along through the rest. At 8:30pm the announcement was made that the museum will be closing in 30 minutes, over the loud speaker. That was followed by that recently familiar voice saying, "So move it on." I was out of the museum at 8:40pm, so as it turns out, we were being rushed out with about 30 minutes from the exit anyhow. I really enjoyed the museum and I would visit again, just probably earlier in the day.

It was pretty cool here. You definitely learn a lot about everything that happened in the past. Went during the daytime in the week. You were shoulder to shoulder with people. And that wasn't too pleasant. So it made seeing some things and reading some of the captions a little harder.

This is my second time going! I love it!! They have added more stuff since the first time we went, so it’s pretty cool that they add stuff and it’s not always the same when you go! Both times I had specifically went for Theodore Bundys stuff! Staff there are so sweet and nice! I had asked the manager a question about the bug and his response was not what I wanted buuut he was very nice about!! Just wish it was a little cheaper! That’s the only complain! But overall would go again and again!

This is an incredible museum! I highly recommend this museum. This was my second time in 10 years and it was amazing to see the updated information on cases. They are very updated on current crimes/cases. If you are interested in crimes of the medieval days the whole way up to modern day I recommend this place 100%. They have multiple interactive exhibits as well! Keeps the fun going for everyone!

Ripley's Davy Crockett Mini-Golf

4.5
(2468)
Ripley's Davy Crockett Mini-Golf in Gatlinburg, Tennessee offers two 18-hole mini-golf courses themed after the "old days" of Davy Crockett. Set against the backdrop of The Great Smoky Mountains, this fun-filled attraction celebrates the Tennessee hero with animated animals and rustic wooden buildings. Open year-round, visitors can enjoy a game from morning until late evening.
We loved this place! Friendly staff, clean course, and very interesting hole obstacles! Our kids love ld all the animatronic animals and unique displays. Really nice experience all around!

This is a nice place. There is Hella different mini golf places around but this one came as a deal when we made a different purchase. Nothing too fancy about it. Pretty basic to say the least. Also its on the hill of a hotel. Weird flex. But overall it was decent. Wouldn't go here again.
Autumn — Google review
This mini-golf spot blends frontier-themed charm with solid course design. With two 18-hole courses to choose from, there’s plenty of variety, and the animatronic characters and rustic decor add personality to each hole. The layout is creative, with water features, hills, and obstacles that challenge both kids and adults. It’s a fun way to spend an hour or two, especially if you’re looking for something outdoors but low-key. Some areas could use a bit of maintenance—faded paint and dry water features—but the overall experience holds up well. Staff are helpful, and combo tickets with other Ripley’s attractions make it easy to bundle your day. It’s a great pick for families, casual players, or anyone wanting a break from the busier parts of Gatlinburg without sacrificing entertainment.
Jonathan P — Google review
There are two different courses. This was one of my favorites that I have ever done. There was so much animation around the holes which made it very entertaining. I will definitely be back to play both of these courses, especially because we got a hole in one on the 18th hole which got us one free game!
Heather — Google review
It was ok. The staff is nice and friendly. The course we took was the fort one. It was ok. It had some neat holes. We had this along with the Ripley's aquarium. It is a hike up from the aquarium If you are nearby, enjoy.
Rob W — Google review
This has become a sentimental must-do for my husband and I every time we visit Gatlinburg. The grounds are beautiful, the characters are cute, the courses are well-maintained, and the staff are really nice and helpful. Pricing is reasonable, and you can upgrade to get 2 rounds for just a couple of additional dollars and get a year to play the second round.
Judy C — Google review
Great mini-golf course that is nice mix of challenge and fun. The interactive features of the course add a nice touch. You can play both courses for two dollar more than a single game. Don't forget to scan the QR code at the entrance to the course for your scorecard.
Jim D — Google review
We were visiting from out of state. The staff were pleasant. Pay to park of course. The mini golf course was fun; it was six of us. I had a hole in one! It was a pretty long game but it was fun. It's approximately 1/2 a mile from Ripleys Aquarium.

Nestled in the forest terrain, Moonshine Mountain Coaster offers an exhilarating experience with individual cars equipped with brakes and the option for a night ride. Located conveniently on the Parkway, it's just a short distance from downtown Gatlinburg. Formerly known as the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, this attraction was renamed in 2021 after being purchased. The coaster provides rain shields to keep riders dry even during rainy weather.
I was a bit nervous about riding. The manager was walking by and noticed my fear. He was amazing talking to me. He explained the ride and all its features. He even told the guy who loaded me to leave more room behind me cause I will prolly go slow. I was hooked after the 1st ride. I rode 2 more times. Its max speed went 29mph. You control it. You can stop it. Would definitely recommend. At night they have colorful lights to ride through.
Christy G — Google review
Did this coaster at night and it was very fun. I was able to get tickets on Groupon for just under $13, which helped. The overall ride is about 3 minutes up and 2 minutes down if you're going full throttle. The coasters and track look to be very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Ryan S — Google review
There was a pretty long wait when I went, around 1.5 hours but the ride came very close to being worth it. It’s a short ride, about 5 minutes total, with around 3 minutes of automatic movement. The best part is the last two minutes when you get to control the coaster yourself, reaching speeds up to 30 mph. Kids would absolutely love it! I wouldn’t recommend going on weekends unless you’re prepared to wait. Overall, it was a really good experience, and the staff were super friendly and doing their best, so the wait isn’t really on them. Would recommend buying the tickets on groupon for around 13 dollars, else you can buy them at the location for 18.
Shiva M — Google review
Thrilling Experience at Moonshine Mountain Coaster! I had an amazing time at Moonshine Mountain Coaster — it was my first time trying this kind of self-controlled ride, and it was such a blast! The coaster takes you on a relaxing ride up the mountain first, and once you reach the top, the real fun begins. You control your own speed using two levers — push forward to go full speed or pull back to slow down — which makes the whole experience even more exciting and personalized. During the daytime, the views from the track were beautiful, the natural scenery. I heard the Halloween decorations were incredible at night, so I came back again later — and it was totally worth it! The track was glowing with colorful lights all along the way, creating a whole different vibe. It was a bit chilly, so definitely don’t forget your jacket if you go in the evening. I almost hit the maximum speed of around 30 mph, and it was pure adrenaline the entire way down. The ride is smooth, safe, and gives you just the right mix of thrill and control. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience — whether you go during the day for the views or at night for the lights, Moonshine Mountain Coaster is a must-try attraction in Gatlinburg! I can’t wait to go again soon.
NagaSai C — Google review
we arrived 15 minutes before they closed and they still allowed us to ride even though it would be a few minute after close before the ride would be over, I’m glad they did though because the ride was really fun and well decorated for Halloween! All of the staff were really kind and had great service. The older gentleman with the beard really stood out to me the most he wasn’t just kind to his customers but was really kind when interacting with employees, he was in charge of training two young men who will do really well under his care.
Serena V — Google review
My mom and I had a mother daughter trip to Gatlinburg. This was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The trees are changing here so the coaster offered up close views of the beautiful scenery. It last a little over 3 minutes it was an excellent experience. It was a fun ride! Staff extremely friendly as well. ❤️
Nicole N — Google review
No need to buy tickets in advance. Even after doing so you have to wait in the very slow moving line. The ride was fun yet they really need to improve the boarding process. Like wasn't even that long and it took nearly 45 minutes to board. The ride itself is around 3 minutes long.
Kevin P — Google review
Wanted to leave a review to answer a review about the wait times I read before visiting. It may take a little bit to board, but this is to ensure the safety and best experience for each guest. My son and I were a little apprehensive about riding a mountain coaster and let the staff know we may go slower than most. They understood and ensured that the next person wouldn't start until we were securely in front of the person coming behind us. This not only made us not feel rushed but ensured the person behind us could go as fast as they wanted. The staff was amazing, kind, and encouraging. My husband enjoyed the speed, and after my son's first ride, he was ready to go again! Staff let us purchase a re-ride ticket for them at a discount, which was greatly appreciated. If you have one coaster to ride, I highly recommend coming here!

Hillbilly Golf

Miniature golf course
Hillbilly Golf is a unique and iconic miniature golf destination in Gatlinburg, offering two Appalachian-themed 18-hole courses situated on the side of a mountain. Visitors begin their adventure with an incline trolley ride 300 feet up to the top, where they can choose from the two courses. As players make their way down the mountainside, they encounter amusing obstacles such as moonshine stills, outhouses, covered wagons, and other elements reflecting mountain folk life.
Excellent experience! I recommend going early in the day! This is truly a unique and fun mini golf experience! I’ve never seen one on a mountainside! Riding up the tram was great fun! The holes were fun, with very entertaining decorations and some challenging obstacles and inclines. I went in side A with my family. I certainly recommend giving this place a go! You’ll have a lot of fun!
Jonmarkheaner — Google review
I really enjoyed my trip to hillbilly golf. We got there early so there was no wait and we got parking. The pricing is pretty fair for the experience you get. The rid up on the loft is really fun, they have it nicely decorated and you get to see a bit of the mountain. All the holes have really cute decorations. They are all fun and interactive. Overall I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you want to scenic mini golf.
Abby S — Google review
We loved this! You ride an incline to the top to golf down the mountain. What a fun experience and friendly staff! Unfortunately, we didn't see a bear but it's apparently a common occurrence to see them there. Sending you beary good vibes to see them! ✨️

Hillbilly Golf was an absolute blast for the whole family! The ride up the hill alone was worth the visit—such a unique and fun way to start a round of mini golf. Once we got to the top, the views were incredible. The mountain scenery gave everything a peaceful, scenic vibe that made the whole experience feel special. The course itself was well thought out, with creative obstacles and fun hillbilly-themed touches that kept us all smiling. My wife and kids had a great time, and we were all impressed with how well-maintained everything was. If you’re looking for something fun, family-friendly, and totally unique in Gatlinburg, Hillbilly Golf is a must-do. We’d definitely go back again!

Taking a inclined railcar up to the top of the mini golf course to play the holes going down the side of the hill was different and fun. Was a little on the pricey side for two seniors was $27.95, but we enjoyed it. If you keep your score card (which they date stamp) and come back to play the 2nd course within 3 days, you can play for just $6.50/person.
Diane P — Google review
A great evening activity to do with the family. Its a fun course with a historical feel. The props were fun to identify! You take a ride up the mountain and play your way down. A cheap fun night.
Jessica S — Google review
We had the absolutely best time ever here! We did have to wait a bit to get into the place however it was well worth the wait. Some of the most fun we had our whole trip.
Savanna B — Google review
It is one of the best mini golf attractions in Gatlinburg. You ride an incline to the top to play the courses. You can play one of two courses. The layout of the courses is really good and somewhat challenging. 90% or more are in the shade of the trees. We had a great time. Cold bottled water they sell is only a dollar. It was a good experience. Prices are good.

Deli
Parton's Deli is a hidden gem in Gatlinburg, established in 1974 and beloved by locals and tourists alike. This family-owned deli offers classic sandwiches with fresh ingredients and Southern hospitality. The unassuming exterior gives way to a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy a variety of steamed sandwiches, hot dogs, deviled eggs, and potato salad.
I have seen the infamous black BMW parked here for YEARS and finally heard of Parton’s Deli a few years ago online and knew I had to eat here. It took quite a few trips before our schedule coincided with their operating hours but we finally made it and we were not disappointed! We only wish we had discovered them decades ago so we could have been enjoying their delicious sandwiches all these years. It’s a great little old school deli that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Best sandwich ever.

Love Parton’s Deli. Use to patronize this place when Dennis ran it. Now there is someone new in there and still just as amazing. The girl that runs the place does an excellent job. Super friendly. She is so nice. We will be back again and again. The steamed sandwiches are beyond delicious ❤️

🥪 Parton’s Deli – Gatlinburg, TN ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) “Closed on weekends. Open in your memories forever.” When I travel, I stick to two sacred rituals: 1. Find the best local coffee shop. 2. Find a sub spot that doesn’t cut corners—or lettuce. So when I saw Parton’s Deli on Google Maps, the photos practically reached out and slapped a sandwich in my hand. The place had that we’ve-been-doing-this-since-before-you-were-born look. And guess what? They have—since 1974. That’s over 50 years of subs, steamers, and stories. But heads up: Parton’s doesn’t follow your schedule—you follow theirs. They’re open Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM, and closed on weekends and holidays. Translation: if you show up Saturday afternoon, the only thing getting fed is your regret. I went during Fourth of July weekend, which, as I quickly learned, is peak Gatlinburg gridlock. Parking was... let’s just say creative. I circled more than a hawk over a picnic, but I found a spot. And it was absolutely worth the hunt. 🧑‍🍳 Alyssa: The One-Woman Show Inside, it’s a cozy, old-school deli with Pepsi memorabilia lining the walls. Clearly, this is not a Coke-friendly zone. At the helm? Alyssa. She’s the cashier, cook, storyteller, and vibe curator. And she’s doing it all solo, even on the busiest weekend of the year. Instead of stress, she brought kindness, humor, and great conversation. We chatted about our kids (hers are 6 and 9, mine 10 and 7), Gatlinburg’s busy season, and how she beat social anxiety by working here: “You don’t get a choice when you’re the only one making the sandwiches.” Love that. She also filled me in on the legendary BMW parked out front. I'd seen it on TikTok—millions have—and it turns out it belongs to David, one of the original Parton brothers. He’s lived upstairs since the ’80s, beat cancer twice, and became a local icon after someone made a Facebook page for his car. He still pops in to say hi from time to time. 🥪 Sandwiches That Speak for Themselves I ordered: The Italian (cold) The Reuben (steamed) Alyssa broke down the menu: top half = steamed, bottom half = cold, and every sub you see was voted in by customer demand over the years. These aren’t gimmicky or overloaded—they’re just right. The Reuben was hot, melty perfection. The steam blends the meat, cheese, and dressing into a single delicious mouthful. The Italian brought that classic sub shop energy: fresh, salty, and balanced. They were out of deviled eggs, or as Alyssa calls them, “angel eggs”—because “they’re too good to be deviled.” I was crushed. I’d seen them in reviews and photos. But hey, now I have an excuse to come back. 🔍 Pro Tips: Don’t go on a weekend. Just… don’t. Arrive early if it’s a busy week—parking’s a beast. Talk to Alyssa—you’ll walk out full of food and stories. Order the Reuben. That’s the one. If angel eggs are available, act fast. Or don’t. I’ll take yours.
Ameer R — Google review
This was a great find on Google! The food was excellent and the only worker in there was making sandwiches and taking orders so there was a bit of a wait, but for only worker it wasn't bad. The food is a little pricey but worth for all fresh ingredients sliced every day. My got a Reuben and said it was fantastic and I got a turkey sandwich and it was delicious as well. Definitely a nice little sandwich shop to swing in and grab a nice deli style sandwich!
Clay E — Google review
My experience at Parton‘s deli was excellent. The service was amazing and I was fortunate enough to meet the owner. She was wonderful. She was so kind and so efficient. The atmosphere was amazing with all the retro Pepsi decor on the walls and the food was amazing the chili hotdogs and Italian subs were by far my favorite would highly recommend!

WOW! I truly do not even know where to start! This place is mouth-wateringly delicious. I love a good sandwich so I love to try new sandwich shops/delis (particularly family owned sandwich shops!) & I absolutely LOVE a good Reuben 😍 Parton's Deli Reuben is by far the BEST Reuben that I have ever eaten! And I've eaten a lot of them. As soon as you walk in, it is truly like you have stepped back in time, from the smells, the sounds, the food, the menu & Dennis (and his flip phone 😅😍). Everything about Parton's Deli is OLD SCHOOL, the best. And let me remind you, this is a ONE MAN SHOW. The Reuben, the STEAMER (if you know, you KNOW) the chili dogs, the DEVILED EGGS, the LEMON 🍋 pound cake, the bottled root beer, the chips, DENNIS, the atmosphere & everything else inbetween will blow you away. Do your self a favor & stop in this HIDDEN gem, I promise you, you will NOT regret it!

After a day wandering through Gaitlinburg checking out the sites and 100 different chain stores and restaurants we were hot and hungry! I also was hoping to find something out of the ordinary and local. Partons was awesome! There’s nothing like a well made sandwich on a hot day and these were great sandwiches! Loaded with your choice of veggies, cold sandwiches and even steamed! Hot dogs for the picky kids and great sides - deviled eggs, pickles, potato salad (had a hint of bacon) and really good coleslaw. Their steamed Italian “hoagie” was even approved by these New England Italians! Which is a tall order. One of the best things we had to eat while in the area.

Diner
American restaurant
Mel's Classic Diner is a retro-style eatery in Pigeon Forge, offering generous portions of classic American diner food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 1950s ambiance with vintage cars and rock and roll music creates a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu features home-cooked meals like chicken and dumplings, hand-breaded catfish, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, chili, and more.
Food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We came to eat here as it was highly touted by our friend Brooks. We were NOT disappointed. Philly cheese steak was delicious and fresh. My wife's cheeseburger was terrific and the fries hot and crispy just like we love them. Great waitress Samantha was a pleasure and very helpful. We finished with an out of this world Banana Split which we shared that was heavenly!! We highly recommend Mel's!!!

Mel’s Diner in Pigeon Forge is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight back to the golden age of classic diners — shiny chrome accents, cozy booths, jukebox tunes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is everything you want from a true American diner and more. Their burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked, piled high with fresh toppings and served with crispy golden fries that taste like they came straight out of the 1950s. Breakfast here is a must-try too — fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, and thick slices of bacon that are pure comfort on a plate. And you can’t leave without trying their milkshakes; they’re rich, creamy, and come in all the nostalgic flavors you dream about. What really sets Mel’s apart is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make your experience special. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or bringing the whole family for a fun meal, you’ll be treated like a regular. Between the unbeatable prices, the delicious food, the retro atmosphere, and the old-fashioned hospitality, Mel’s Diner is a must-visit spot in Pigeon Forge. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a slice of Americana you’ll want to come back to again and again

After visiting Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, we decided to go to Mel’s Diner for dinner. For my meal, I ordered the country fried steak, which comes with two sides and Texas toast. I chose mac and cheese and fried okra for my sides. I thought that the country fried steak was crunchy, peppery, and hearty. The mac was extremely cheesy, the way mac should be. The okra and toast were just like any other. My cousin got the James Works burger, which is topped with chili, bacon, and mushrooms with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. He got it with no mushrooms and enjoyed it. My cousin’s girlfriend got the biscuit and gravy with two eggs and bacon. She loved it. My dad got the bacon cheeseburger, and he thought it was delicious. My mom got the Cajun burger and enjoyed it. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Mel’s for a delicious meal.

It was ok. Service was good. Food wasn’t anything to talk about. Grilled cheese had 3 pieces of bread but cheese was thin and cold. Bake beans were pork n beans. Big dog hot dog gets 2 topping. Asked for relish and got 3 little packets. Dog tasted good. Bread was old

Honestly this place doesn’t get mentioned enough for a must stop place in the area, but it should. I was so excited from the minute we pulled up and it was lit up bright in the night sky. What really sold my fiancée and I on this place was the waitress Dawn, who is OUTSTANDING and makes you feel like you are meeting a new friend even when she has several other tables. If this was a place back home for me, she would help sell it. The second selling point for this place was the milkshakes. Literally the best milkshake of my life. And the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. This is a must stop in the area for sure!

Nicole was a GREAT server!! Even her notepad shows experience!! The service was tip top shape and she kept us Well Beveraged! Haha!! My Husband and I are Locals, and we were on a little “Redneck-Vacation” We decided To choose This Wonderful little Diner because it was open late and the food looked Great, after showing me the reviews, my Husband Told us to get in!! We got there after calling and making sure that they were still open and was immediately greeted with a smile. They got us quickly seated, and Nicole got us our drinks after figuring out what we wanted and looking at the menu we ordered and we’re waiting on our food. We waited about 15 minutes. When the food came out, it looked so clean and homemade! It tasted just as good. Love the atmosphere of this little place. We will be back! The nachos are phenomenal! They are a must have! The Philly cheesesteak is also very good. However, the buns were cut completely through so it was hard to keep the contents in. Everything was cooked how we requested it for our little guy too!! We will be back!! Thanks Nicole for your Great Attitude and 5 STAR SERVICE!! My Recommendations: -the Nachos are banging!!! -the Phillycheese steak is Delicious Pros: -Good parking -Kid Friendly -GREAT MUSIC -Easy Order Classic Menu! -Decent Prices -Lively Environment -Open late Cons: -Don’t go in in a swimsuit, you’ll get dirty looks from some of the girls that work there lol. (One Host with brown hair…) -the bathrooms are a little hard to find at first Thanks! -The Kanevski’s
