1Salt & Pepper Shaker Museum

Art museum
The Salt & Pepper Shaker Museum in Gatlinburg is a unique and quirky attraction that showcases over 20,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers from various eras, made from a wide range of materials. This museum, owned by Andrea Ludden, offers visitors an unexpected history lesson as they explore the offbeat displays that reflect societal changes. It's one of only two museums of its kind in the world and provides a fascinating experience for those interested in exploring unusual collections.
Over 20000 sets of S&P shakers! The entry fee is $3 or something similar to that, honestly, I would have paid $10. There was a large variety of sets. They were behind glass, which was fine, when people touch things- they break and steal them. The staff was extremely friendly and told me all about the history and some fun facts about them. I didn’t know what I expected when I went but I’m glad I did. My only complaint was I wish they had magnets or stickers. Overall, I would highly recommend it!

My husband and ai were honeymooning for n Gatlinburg. We were looking through travel brochures and saw the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum. I was immediately intrigued but my husband, not so much. Well to my surprise, we stopped and got breakfast at Flapjacks and the museum was just behind it! So after breakfast my husband treated me to The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum!!! I was so excited! It was surprisingly cheap to enter at $3.50 each. There was no line but there were a few people who went in ahead of us unfortunately. It would have been more enjoyable if we had waited for them to finish because they were VERY LOUD and often blocking some of the areas where we wanted to look. They kept yelling at their kids and their kids were sooo loud. They had almost every kind of shaker you can imagine. They were categorized and displayed behind glass. There were so many and it was so fun to look at them all. I could have spent hours in there but I tried to keep it minimal for my husbands sake…. And it was a bit loud in there with the other group of folks who didn’t seem to pay attention bit of attention to anyone else in there. We were able to take photos of all the displays but couldn’t take photos in the gift shop. They had some neat shakers in the gift shop but they were so expensive. Like $30 and more for salt and pepper shakers (Cracker Barrel sells cute ones for 0.99 cents) so ai was a bit disappointed about the prices in the gift shop and we couldn’t take photos in there either. That was kinda sad as they had some neat ones. But I’m guessing they don’t want you to google lens them and see how much you can get them for elsewhere. It was a good time though. We enjoyed the museum and ai would go again. The couple working the museum (most likely owners - were very nice folks).

The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is so much fun for everyone. My 5 year old loved it, my 17 year old sister loved it and the adults LOVED it. This was an extra memorable trip because they had all of my daughter’s favorite things: chicks 🐥, kitties 🐱, holidays!!! She loved everything so much that she sat down her stuffed animal, Hedgie, and he was forgotten in all of the shakin’ excitement. I am so happy that this is the place that she forgot him. I cannot imagine that we would have even gotten Hedgie back from any of the other attractions we visited on our first Fall Vacation. But The Salt and Pepper Museum located Hedgie and gave him a Night at the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers to remember. A beautiful store, a beautiful story in honor of the first Collector, and an extra special thank you from us to the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum. At the gift shop we purchased chicks and bunnies. Pictures to follow. Photos of the museum courtesy of the 5 year old whom forgot Hedgie. 🙂‍↔️🩷

We have driven past here every trip and never stopped. I’m so glad we did! It’s only a $3 entrance fee but if you buy a salt & pepper shaker at the end, they take that off the price! You can spend as much or little time as you want. The salt and pepper shakers are organized and there is something for everyone to enjoy! Over 20,000 of them! Definitely brought back memories of family members & holidays! Stop by and check it out next time you’re around the area!

This is such a strange and delightful museum. The outside of the building is quite humble, but the inside is filled with so many delightful treasures. Salt and Pepper shakers might not seem interesting to everyone, but it's such a unique lens to view history. There are pieces from all over the world. Old first class airline shakers. Pop culture shakers. More than you could ever possibly imagine. And they've also done a great job at trying to preserve history. Throughout the museum the provide all sorts of information about the pieces, yes, but even about things that impacted trade and why certain materials were used. Definitely worth a walk through.
Jenny H — Google review
Absolutely LOVED going here! It was different and interesting to see all the different salt and pepper shakers. The cost is very reasonable, doesnt take long, but did try to take my time and see everything even though I know I probably missed some. Definitely recommend!
Charlene V — Google review
My wife and I visited this museum while in Gatlinburg and I was a little skeptical when she said she wanted to go but it was pretty cool to see the GIANT over 20,000 shakers on display. It was a great quick stop and only $3 admission to see them all. We also bought some as a gift for family so 2 birds with one stone. Stop in and see them!
Andrew S — Google review
Cool place!!! 20,000+ salt/pepper shaker sets. 2,200 sets available for sale in the gift shop. Thought I’d seen it all until we came across this legit museum of salt and pepper shakers from old and new, near and far. Shakers from all over the world can be seen here!

Anakeesta is a popular outdoor adventure destination that offers various exciting activities such as zip lining, gondola rides, and a treetop play area. It stands out among other nearby mountain attractions with its polished and flashy features. Visitors can choose between an enclosed gondola or a chairlift to reach the ridgetop village, which boasts hanging bridges, mountain coasters, dueling zip lines, and an observation tower at the summit.
Absolutely loved it here. It was a nice peaceful ride up to the mountaintop. And once you get up there the views are just absolutely incredible. Then you start walking up to the tower. Just go off the tower The view is getting better. So much to do here especially if you have kids. Unfortunately if you're a tall guy big guy you can't go through some of the activities which is on the standable such as life. But definitely a lot of fun this place. Especially during the fall time.. I would suggest go early though especially during the week. It can get pretty crowded really quickly. Especially if you park in the parking lot where they are. It gets crowded really quick.
Trucker684955 — Google review
We arrived Saturday, November 15th and this place was packed with tourist. The parking lot was at full capacity so we parked at the garage. $10.00 for the whole day is a fantastic deal. We were walking distance from every where, quite convenient. We took the chair lift(they also offer a closed in cable car)to the top and it was wonderful(a bit scary[windy day] but worth it). The shops, restaurants( the drinks we ordered were delicious), and activities were adorable. Family friendly galore. I wish I had more time to stay for the evening lights part of the park. I loved the food stands and how each stand had a different type of hot chocolate. It all looked yummy! The drinks and the ice cream made my day! They had a show with elves singing and dancing. As we were leaving the carolers were arriving. There's definitely the feel of the Christmas spirit here. I'd definitely return another time.
Jessica M — Google review
I am in love with this place!!! So glad we went! You have the option of a ski lift, gondola or bus ride up. The ski lift had great views. Food and drinks were great. We added in Astra Lumina which was amazing! You have to do that! We walked the tree top rope bridges which was very fun too!
Renee A — Google review
A true gem—fun-filled and magical for the whole family. Everyone of us loved it! The 20-minute wait for the chairlift was worth it; once you're on, the adventure begins. The ride up is thrilling, and the Observation Tower offers stunning mountain views. There’s something for everyone: the Treetop Play Area kept my kid delighted, while the Treetop Skywalk was a serene highlight. The park is clean, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. Plan to spend a full day here—you’ll want time to enjoy every moment. Highly recommended!
AJINKYA P — Google review
This came recommended from a friend who has been down in the area before. It was very busy when we arrived and said it would be a 90 minute wait, but we still decided we wanted to go for it. We ended up only waiting about 60 minutes and it was definitely worth it for the awesome ski lift ride and views at the top. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. There was great signage everywhere. At the top, they had a large offering of food, gifts, and experiences for the whole family. As you can see from the photos, the views are pretty unbelievable.
Andrew S — Google review
It's a great mountain escape! We spent the whole day there and did the Lumina at night which was also an amazing experience. Everyone in our party enjoyed the mountain coasters so the pass to ride both is worth it. (We went in October and luckily the weather was perfect. It did rain the day prior and I was told that it does rain a lot in the summer.) Whether you have kids or not, go down the metal slides at the bird houses, it was pretty fast and fun! While you're at it you might as well jump on the rope trampoline too. Wish I did the Zipline but there's always next time.
Bonnie B — Google review
Anakeesta is an awesome place to visit when you're in Gatlinburg! There's activities for young and old and the views are spectacular! The chondola ride is also part of the fun! I recommend buying your tickets online so you don't have to wait in the ticket line. We bought them online while in line when we got there and were able to jump over to the chondola line right away and get the day going. Also this is the one place we always see bears when going on the SkyWalk area so if you're wanting to see a bear definitely check it out!
Courtney H — Google review
Anakeesta was a fun adventure! If you want to see it in the day and night, leave ample time as the wait for the choldola is very long. The wait peaked at 90mins and the sold out of tickets before 5pm. Overall the experience offers skytop views of the smokey mountains, kid friendly play areas, mountain coaster rides, zip lining, and plenty of photo opps.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a vast marine facility in Gatlinburg, open 365 days a year. It houses over 10,000 marine creatures, including sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and penguins. The aquarium features interactive exhibits like the Discovery Center for hands-on experiences with animals. Visitors can also learn about the aquarium's Systems Control area that manages millions of gallons of saltwater. Additionally, it offers a glass-bottom boat ride experience.
My family and I took my son here so he could have some fun on our trip and he sure did here. He loved the selection of sea/ocean animals and the interactive games they had throughout the facility. We order tickets beforehand on TripAdvisor (we got them in a bundle) which saved us a good bit of money.
Savanna B — Google review
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is an amazing spot for both kids and adults! It’s much bigger than you’d expect, with tons of exhibits to explore. One of the highlights is the moving conveyor tunnel, you’re surrounded by sharks, rays, and all kinds of sea life as you glide through. There are interactive displays, fun photo ops, and even a penguin walk parade that’s a must-see! The penguins are adorable and it’s a unique experience you won’t find at most aquariums. A great place to bring the family, unwind, and learn something new. Definitely worth the trip!
Sam — Google review
The glass bottom boat ride is a must! We had a good time, but for the price of admission we did expect some more sea animals. The shark lagoon area was our favorite; we went through a few times seeing something new each time. The parking garage behind the aquarium is the most accessible area for parking.
L C — Google review
Wife and I went on a Thursday morning. Same time as hundreds on 2md and 3rd graders on a field trip. While it was fun watching kids see and learn about nature the chaos with all these screaming and running kids brought our enjoyment down a notch. The tunnel under the tank is incredible to see. Penguins never disappoint. Great location and a lot of other Ripley attractions and within a 10 min walk max. If in Gatlinburg I suggest you go here.
Jon Z — Google review
Very good small(ish) aquarium. Definitely a must see for the kids and sea life enthusiasts on your trip! Fair warning, they are a bit pricey, but it's not horrible. They have a daily parade of penguins at 1:15pm as well. HIGHLY suggest though that you go early right when they open to avoid the crowds!
Alex H — Google review
Loved it! Many new attractions even since 2024. The fish all look great. It's very clean. Expect to spend at least an hour or 2 taking your time walk through. There is a kids play area and a food court near the end.
Sharon H — Google review
We had a great time at the aquarium. We enjoyed the dragon exhibit and the aquarium was so nice. We casually walked around and enjoyed all the exhibits. The play area was very nice. The stingray show was so nice. We really had a great time. The mini doughnuts were a quick bite and good taste.
Kimberly W — Google review
This place was incredible! We stayed in Gatlinburg and this could easily have been a half day event on its own. I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old and this aquarium left them captivated! It’s absolutely massive!! The conveyor through the underwater tunnel was very unique. It’s pricey… and there are add ons. We didn’t do any of that. Just a simple walk through on our own experience was plenty. Definitely recommend.

Miniature golf course
Hillbilly Golf is a unique and iconic miniature golf destination in Gatlinburg, offering two Appalachian-themed 18-hole courses situated on the side of a mountain. Visitors begin their adventure with an incline trolley ride 300 feet up to the top, where they can choose from the two courses. As players make their way down the mountainside, they encounter amusing obstacles such as moonshine stills, outhouses, covered wagons, and other elements reflecting mountain folk life.
Excellent experience! I recommend going early in the day! This is truly a unique and fun mini golf experience! I’ve never seen one on a mountainside! Riding up the tram was great fun! The holes were fun, with very entertaining decorations and some challenging obstacles and inclines. I went in side A with my family. I certainly recommend giving this place a go! You’ll have a lot of fun!
Jonmarkheaner — Google review
I really enjoyed my trip to hillbilly golf. We got there early so there was no wait and we got parking. The pricing is pretty fair for the experience you get. The rid up on the loft is really fun, they have it nicely decorated and you get to see a bit of the mountain. All the holes have really cute decorations. They are all fun and interactive. Overall I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you want to scenic mini golf.
Abby S — Google review
We loved this! You ride an incline to the top to golf down the mountain. What a fun experience and friendly staff! Unfortunately, we didn't see a bear but it's apparently a common occurrence to see them there. Sending you beary good vibes to see them! ✨️
Jessica W — Google review
Hillbilly Golf was an absolute blast for the whole family! The ride up the hill alone was worth the visit—such a unique and fun way to start a round of mini golf. Once we got to the top, the views were incredible. The mountain scenery gave everything a peaceful, scenic vibe that made the whole experience feel special. The course itself was well thought out, with creative obstacles and fun hillbilly-themed touches that kept us all smiling. My wife and kids had a great time, and we were all impressed with how well-maintained everything was. If you’re looking for something fun, family-friendly, and totally unique in Gatlinburg, Hillbilly Golf is a must-do. We’d definitely go back again!
John L — Google review
Taking a inclined railcar up to the top of the mini golf course to play the holes going down the side of the hill was different and fun. Was a little on the pricey side for two seniors was $27.95, but we enjoyed it. If you keep your score card (which they date stamp) and come back to play the 2nd course within 3 days, you can play for just $6.50/person.
Diane P — Google review
Absolutely Amazing. I’m a local and i absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a mini golf place. The lady at the counter was really nice, she could tell i was with my nana and gave me recommendations on which side had less steps and was extremely sweet when explaining how everything worked. They also have really cute signs you can hold up for a photo op
Jayden L — Google review
A great evening activity to do with the family. Its a fun course with a historical feel. The props were fun to identify! You take a ride up the mountain and play your way down. A cheap fun night.
Jessica S — Google review
Such a fun experience. I highly recommend you come with the idea to spend the extra time and only $6.50 to play the second 18 holes that they have to offer. Both sides looked like a lot of fun. We only got to experience one side because by the time we got done it was 9:00 p.m. and our kids were done for the night. It is an extremely hard Putt-Putt course. If you are looking for something to get better at golf this is the wrong place. The hole in ones are more luck than skill, though try telling that to my wife 😄.

Had a great time here. About 50 cars to look at. Something for all age groups and genre of fans. They have tons of fast and furious, several marvel themed vehicles, older things like James Dean, the Munsters, Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith and so on. Good museum to check out.
James M — Google review
Just a cool attraction. You have the chance to get up close to some of the most memorable vehicles from cinema. Great for kids and adults
Steve M — Google review
We deliberated for a while before spending the $20 each to go in. We were bith glad we did. So many impressive cars. A little heavy on cars from the Fast and Furious series, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Recommended.
Alastair L — Google review
There are a lot of cars from the Fast and the Furious. We really enjoyed the videos from George Barris as he explained how he came up with some of the ideas for cars that he had. There are cars from Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. There was also the Ghost Busters car!
Missy H — Google review
If you’re into cars or tv/movies, this is a great museum to visit. With a variety of cars from many different time periods, it was a fun stop to see in Gatlinburg. There were (I believe) over 60 cars…and they are the originals, not replicas. Really cool!
Jennifer S — Google review
We were really impressed with the Car Museum. The kids couldn't believe how many cars were here. There is a second level. There were 4 of us so the tickets were a bit pricey for all of us.
Blessed A — Google review
Nice collection of movie and celebrity cars. Iconic cars like the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, one of the General Lees, and the Batmobile. Also quite a few of the Fast and the Furious vehicles. A little pricey for what it is but still worth the visit if you’re a car enthusiast.

Nestled in the forest terrain, Moonshine Mountain Coaster offers an exhilarating experience with individual cars equipped with brakes and the option for a night ride. Located conveniently on the Parkway, it's just a short distance from downtown Gatlinburg. Formerly known as the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, this attraction was renamed in 2021 after being purchased. The coaster provides rain shields to keep riders dry even during rainy weather.
I was a bit nervous about riding. The manager was walking by and noticed my fear. He was amazing talking to me. He explained the ride and all its features. He even told the guy who loaded me to leave more room behind me cause I will prolly go slow. I was hooked after the 1st ride. I rode 2 more times. Its max speed went 29mph. You control it. You can stop it. Would definitely recommend. At night they have colorful lights to ride through.
Christy G — Google review
Did this coaster at night and it was very fun. I was able to get tickets on Groupon for just under $13, which helped. The overall ride is about 3 minutes up and 2 minutes down if you're going full throttle. The coasters and track look to be very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Ryan S — Google review
There was a pretty long wait when I went, around 1.5 hours but the ride came very close to being worth it. It’s a short ride, about 5 minutes total, with around 3 minutes of automatic movement. The best part is the last two minutes when you get to control the coaster yourself, reaching speeds up to 30 mph. Kids would absolutely love it! I wouldn’t recommend going on weekends unless you’re prepared to wait. Overall, it was a really good experience, and the staff were super friendly and doing their best, so the wait isn’t really on them. Would recommend buying the tickets on groupon for around 13 dollars, else you can buy them at the location for 18.

Thrilling Experience at Moonshine Mountain Coaster! I had an amazing time at Moonshine Mountain Coaster — it was my first time trying this kind of self-controlled ride, and it was such a blast! The coaster takes you on a relaxing ride up the mountain first, and once you reach the top, the real fun begins. You control your own speed using two levers — push forward to go full speed or pull back to slow down — which makes the whole experience even more exciting and personalized. During the daytime, the views from the track were beautiful, the natural scenery. I heard the Halloween decorations were incredible at night, so I came back again later — and it was totally worth it! The track was glowing with colorful lights all along the way, creating a whole different vibe. It was a bit chilly, so definitely don’t forget your jacket if you go in the evening. I almost hit the maximum speed of around 30 mph, and it was pure adrenaline the entire way down. The ride is smooth, safe, and gives you just the right mix of thrill and control. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience — whether you go during the day for the views or at night for the lights, Moonshine Mountain Coaster is a must-try attraction in Gatlinburg! I can’t wait to go again soon.

Fun experience! Like others suggested, we rode the coaster at night. The lights and overall atmosphere were great. I only wish the coaster was longer because I didnt want it to end!
Jill G — Google review
we arrived 15 minutes before they closed and they still allowed us to ride even though it would be a few minute after close before the ride would be over, I’m glad they did though because the ride was really fun and well decorated for Halloween! All of the staff were really kind and had great service. The older gentleman with the beard really stood out to me the most he wasn’t just kind to his customers but was really kind when interacting with employees, he was in charge of training two young men who will do really well under his care.

Wanted to leave a review to answer a review about the wait times I read before visiting. It may take a little bit to board, but this is to ensure the safety and best experience for each guest. My son and I were a little apprehensive about riding a mountain coaster and let the staff know we may go slower than most. They understood and ensured that the next person wouldn't start until we were securely in front of the person coming behind us. This not only made us not feel rushed but ensured the person behind us could go as fast as they wanted. The staff was amazing, kind, and encouraging. My husband enjoyed the speed, and after my son's first ride, he was ready to go again! Staff let us purchase a re-ride ticket for them at a discount, which was greatly appreciated. If you have one coaster to ride, I highly recommend coming here!

Haunted house
Mysterious Mansion is a Victorian-style haunted house in Gatlinburg that offers self-guided tours and spooky surprises all year round. This classic turn-of-the-century mansion has been terrifying tourists for over 40 years, with regular shows in October and special Halloween performances on weekends. Visitors can explore secret passageways, dark corridors, winding staircases, and chilling chambers filled with zombies and other frights.
Great time here. We are grown adults and did enjoy this a lot. I would say people that are easily terrified should skip, also this is not for young little kids at all. Lots of dark spaces where you will be feeling your way through with live actors jumping out and other effects to scare you. I enjoy this stuff and laughed often at the great amount of detail they put into this.
James M — Google review
Staff and actors were so nice and done a spooktacular job at making me scream. This was kid friendly so if your little ones get scared easily, then this should be one of their first haunted houses to begin their haunts and horrors. I loved the beginning where we had to find the opening door to begin our tour. It had a few slanted slopes so take your time and be careful. It’s very dark with some fluorescent tape for guidance. It has heavy bags hanging from the ceiling that swing. They had some steps that turn and twist. It was a fantastic atmosphere and very enjoyable with great prices.
Brandy T — Google review
I can’t give them enough stars!! The place is scary enough, the actors are fantastic and the ticket ladies are great!! I said I would only go through once but have been through twice now. Not sure how many more times I can take =D I also give them a shout out for coming out to scare you in between working inside and taking pictures. They also have a little coffin on the left by the gate if you’re facing the mansion for tips, so don’t forget to tip for the extra they do!! Can’t wait to go back for Halloween. Love you all!!
Melissa M — Google review
Old school haunted house. It had maybe 4 or 5 actors but these people inside were insane. Climbing up walls, scares from the sides, below furniture, ontop of furniture, jumping across a balcony to catch up to your group. The handful of actors made it feel like 25 people in this haunted attraction. Fun haunted you travel three floors up and down, I think even to the basement. Each room you have to find the way out meanwhile having people jump out at you. This is a jumpscare house. Very well decorated although it's dark so hard to appreciate all the details. The end of it the actors chased our group all the way to the sidewalk of river street. This was during the weekend halloween overlay but man was it fun.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review: The Mysterious Mansion – Gatlinburg, Tennessee If you’re visiting Gatlinburg and looking for something unforgettable, The Mysterious Mansion is an absolute must-do! This place delivers the perfect mix of creepy charm, old-school haunted house thrills, and unexpected surprises around every corner. The moment you step inside, you’re transported into a spooky Victorian world that feels both theatrical and delightfully unsettling. What makes it even better? Go with a scaredy-cat. Trust me—watching them jump, squeal, cling to your arm, and question every decision they’ve ever made is half the fun! The actors are fantastic, the sets are immersive, and the twists inside the mansion will keep you laughing and screaming the whole way through. Whether you love haunted attractions or just want a good dose of adrenaline and entertainment, The Mysterious Mansion is one Gatlinburg experience you don’t want to miss. Highly recommended! 👻🏚️

Brought our daughter for her first haunted attraction and we had an AMAZING experience! The haunt is high quality and well worth the price, the scarers were fantastic. I screamed my head off, and I really felt like they took care to tailor our experience to our comfort level. I will be going back again and again!

Amazing haunted house! Best one I’ve been to in a long time. There were only 2-3 actors in the whole house but there might as well have been 20 with how they seemed to be everywhere. Very impressed and will be back again! Thank you!

Ripley's Believe It or Not is a museum filled with an array of bizarre and unusual artifacts, including shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons. The Odditorium offers interactive exhibits, while the Gatlinburg location also features a mirror labyrinth, a 3D theater with moving seats, miniature golf courses, and a haunted house with live actors.
One of the biggest I've been to. They have many many different things that other ones do not. This is a nice size location and it's located on the strip so everything is right there. We went a bit later in the day and no one was there. We were able to fully explore without feeling rushed. Very clean. Lots of cool things to interact with.

Super fun (as always)! We’ve hit up 4–5 Ripley’s locations now, and every single one brings the weird in the BEST way. Different exhibits at each stop—so it’s always a surprise (and a photo op)! Shrunken heads? Check. Rope bridge? Check. A place where both kids and adults can lose track of time? Double check. Even better—my mom’s wheelchair was easy to push through the entire thing, which made the experience even smoother for all of us. We came, we saw, we got weird. Ripley’s did NOT disappoint. Thanks for the wild ride, @ripleysbelieveitornot. Stay strange! @bucketlistbabekc

This is definitely a tourist trap not worth your money or time. Lackluster exhibits and displays. I did enjoy a couple of things such as the taxidermy animals born with abnormalities and the recreation of the Hogwarts castle done with toothpicks. Everything else was mostly “meh” and was nothing beyond belief. For as much as the entrance fee is, it could definitely be a better, more worthwhile experience.

Nothing like most of the ones I've been to! It was def a fun time but very small not sure if I like how they broke them all up but I get the point $ it did make our ending of the trip a good time! But it is a little small which the price kinda shows that! I do like that they give military discount!

Super fun spot in downtown Gatlinburg. They have an outdoor stage with rocking chairs to sit and listen to live folk music between the store and the distillery. You can read about the moonshine making process and the history. In the shop, you can pay a few bucks to do a fun tasting (they'll give you a $5 coupon to buy something when you do the tasting). It was a busy spot for watching the sunrise.

We took a quick 4 day weekend trip to Nashville, TN and with just a single day in Gatlinburg, TN. The weather was beautiful and so was the drive up to Gatlinburg as the pictures show. Ascend to the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle, a 407-ft. observation tower that has been an iconic part of the city since 1969. The two glass elevators provide a stunning 360-degree view as you ride up to the outdoor viewing deck, where you can take in panoramic vistas of Gatlinburg and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. In addition to its breathtaking views, visitors can also enjoy a theater and an arcade at the top.
Fun trip to the top of this 400 plus foot tower. Amazing views of the surrounding town and mountains. Elevator can be slow and holds a limited amount of guests but the wait time is not too long. Well maintained and safe and provides an affordable view compared to other attractions in the area.
Lucas K — Google review
This was a cool attraction, and less expensive than some of the other attractions in the area. Loved the view from the top. My one grievance is that they wouldn’t let me go up by myself due to their safety precautions, you have to bring friend. Luckily, I convinced my siblings to come with me. So this is only good as a group activity, if you’re solo, you’re out of luck.
Emily D — Google review
The Gatlinburg Space Needle offers a refreshing aerial view of the Smokies and downtown, especially during clear weather. The elevator ride is smooth, and the observation deck gives a quiet moment to take in the landscape without the usual street-level bustle. While the arcade and base attractions feel a bit dated, the view itself makes the visit worthwhile. Staff were courteous, and the overall experience felt safe and well-managed. It’s a solid stop for visitors who want a visual reset before diving back into the crowds. The ticket pricing is reasonable, and the option to buy in advance online helps streamline the visit—especially during weekends or peak travel seasons. The observation deck offers informational panels that highlight key landmarks in the distance, adding a subtle educational layer to the experience. Whether you're snapping photos, taking a quiet moment to reflect, or simply enjoying the breeze above the town, the Space Needle delivers a calm and scenic break from Gatlinburg’s busy streets.
Jonathan P — Google review
This could be great but it is so ran down. The paint had so many layers. The stairs that you look at have so many cobb webs. Would be great for signs about height as you get higher and higher. Maybe an audio explaining different things rather than the same beat in the sound system. The only plaques were peeling apart. Those green lights at night make for terrible pictures. Maybe consider a vending machine or something once at the top again potential. The price doesn't reflect.
Ashley M — Google review
Great experience! We were able to go during the daytime and at night, which both gave us fantastic views! You can go twice with each ticket and I recommend checking Groupon for deals. It's an elevator with ride up with a view and you can stay on the 360° platform as long as you want. There's a couple benches to sit and a 'Stamp a Penny' machine for 51c.

Totally worth the $15 each! We hung out up there for a while, just chatting and soaking in the views. Gorgeous scenery, epic photo ops — couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Stay wild! @bucketlistbabekc

So we got to go up twice, once in the morning and once at night. Night time is amazing, but you can feel it swaying back and forth. It was such a great place to take my toddlers where I didn't have to really worry about them not being right next to me. They loved the lazy river also. They were still too small for the tubes, so I just put their life jackets on, and they floated on. They didn't want to leave!

Had a very fun time at the indoor waterpark with my 3 year old. My three year old had a blast. It’s a smaller indoor waterpark but still fun. It’s geared more for younger kids. Wasn’t over crowded also. Price is reasonable for a day pass and didn’t have to pay to park. Would go back again.

It was great except there really aren't enough lounges chairs out and also the double inner tubes USE to NOT be allowed in the lazy river. In the beginning, the double inner tubes were strictly for the slide. It needs to go back to that.
Sherrieglo — Google review
Kids loved the water park. The adults had a great time floating the lazy river and going down the slides
Greg C — Google review
We brought our 3 young boys for the day. They had a great time and we got our moneys worth. A few things to be mindful of. The facility is LOUD, and there is a loud metal clanging sound happening constantly from the water bucket. My middle son (who is sensory sensitive) had an absolute panic attack when we walked in, and was terrified of the clanging sound. He held his hands over his ears the first hour or so, an older gentleman working at the park brought us some noise canceling headphones which was so kind and helpful. The metal clanging sound doesn’t seem to have a true purpose other than making noise so I just wonder if this is something they could remove for our more sensitive friends. Our oldest slid down the small white slide in the kiddie area and scraped his back on the bottom. Some padding at the bottom of those slides might be helpful! Overall we had a good experience and would go back.
Rachel G — Google review
We had fun at this water park. My 6 year old loved it and didn't want to leave after almost five hours. The lazy river was our favorite thing.

A small but decent indoor waterpark at The Westgate Gatlinburg Resort. There are only two moderately thrilled water slides but only one was opened on the day we went. The stairs to go up the watersides were extremely uncomfortable. They have a lazy river and an outdoor hot tub and pool which was nice. The indoor pool/basketball area is a good size but the flooring is very rocky and all my kids had blisters or cuts from walking on it. Overall, it wasn’t crowded when we went in August (might be more crowded during the winter season) but they need some updates and repairs.

Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg Trail Trailhead offers an enchanting escape for nature lovers and their furry companions. This scenic 3.8-mile roundtrip path meanders along the West Prong of the Little River, providing stunning river views and a chance to cross one of the park's longest footbridges. The trail is well-maintained with minimal elevation gain, making it accessible for all hikers.
Not as excited as others are on this trail but is one of the few dog friendly ones in the National Park. From Sugarland, you spend the first 0.75 miles going through a parking lot, dodging construction, walking down a road and going behind some maintenance buildings. From there, the trail is a nice hard packed trail that is heavily traveled - it follows a creek and has a road nearby. Scenery is okay. Still a nice 4 mile round trip with the pups but not over the top for this one. And don’t forget the $5 parking fee - can pay at a kiosk at the parking lot. Would rate a 4.5 out of 5.
N F — Google review
This is a fairly easy trail going from the edge of Gatlinburg to the Sugarland Visitor Center. The last 1/4 mile of the trail follows a paved road that, on 10/24/25, had construction work being done. This causes a slight detour through the parking lot of the Ranger's offices. There is an old cemetery on the corner where the detour is, but if you get distracted by the cemetery like we did you will miss the sign.
Ken M — Google review
This is one of only two trails in Smokey Mountains where you can bring your dog. For that reason there are normally plenty of people and dogs on the trail. The trail is about two miles long. It is very scenic along a stream. The trail is a pretty easy walk with not too many ups and downs. If you have a dog, this is the trail for you.
Robert C — Google review
This trail is located at the very beginning, before reaching the Great Smoky Mountains Visitor Center, and it connects to downtown Gatlinburg. The trail along the creek is very easy and perfect for walking with a dog. It was the only dog-friendly trail on the Tennessee side of the Smokies, but we were still very satisfied. We made great memories, and it was even better because it snowed. Parking was free for 2hrs, and there was no admission fee.

Distillery
Food & Drink
Sugarlands Distilling Company is a popular moonshine maker located in downtown Gatlinburg. The rustic, industrial-chic distillery offers indoor and outdoor tours, tastings, and live music. Visitors can enjoy a full seasonal cocktail tasting led by an expert TasteMaker, featuring samples of moonshine, whiskey, and more with tasting notes and cocktail ideas.
The Behind the Stave experience was a relaxed way to experience Sugarland's products. Jeff, our great bartender and host let us know that we would have an opportunity to experience new and unique cocktails in their distillery's speak easy, and that did not disappoint. The speak easy lounge has nice ambient lighting and mellow and loud jazz music so that conversations could be held without having to raise your voice. Jeff prepared 3 full sized drinks for us, two with moonshine and the third you had a choice of moonshine or whiskey. The first was a unique and a pleasant surprise, the second was delicious and a great brunch cocktail, and my third choice was a classic and smooth whiskey drink. The vibe overall was relaxing. Jeff was pleasant, and entertaining, all while not taking away from the relaxed atmosphere. Also, if you are a whiskey fan and want to pour and label and seal your own bottle of Sugarland's whiskey, that is an option you can purchase when booking. For the attendees who purchased it, they seemed very happy with the results and it was a neat process to observe. I do have two suggestions for the Sugarland Team,: 1) At the time of my reservation in early October, 2025, the package was advertised as including 4 drinks. However, Jeff let us know that prior customers requested full size drinks instead of 4 small drinks, so this change to three full drinks was reasonable. I suggest that the website be updated to reflect this change so visitors will know what to expect; and 2) While the website at the time of my booking stated a factory tour was included, there wasn't one at the 8:30 pm tour that I participated in. I would suggest updating the website to remove this because frankly focusing on the speak easy experience alone was worth it. Overall, these suggestions do not take away from the great job by Jeff or from this being an enjoyable way to be introduced to moonshine and trying local whiskey.

We just left this establishment and had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!!! We had Judge Abbey for our tasting and she "held court" above & beyond fabulous!!! She was very funny & knowledgeable! She gave great ideas for mixing the different flavors of moonshine once home! We would (and WILL) come back, hoping we get Abbey to make our tasting humorous, more fun, and soooo enjoyable!

We had amazing experiences at all 3 tasting options!! DK went above and beyond to make sure the Behind the Stave and Roaming Man tours were amazing. If you can catch Rob Ham for a tasting- do it!!

$5 for 12 unique samples of Tennessee Moonshine. I was referred by a couple that I met on a horseback ride. “When in Tennessee, one must try Tennessee whiskey”! The samples were delicious, but the best part was our server Ben! He was hilarious and made the experience memorable. Highly recommend it and you’ll love the $5/pp coupon that can be combined with anyone else in the group.

Ober Mountain is a popular mountainside amusement park in Gatlinburg, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. In winter, the ski area is bustling with snow tubing and skiing, attracting many locals and tourists. The summer brings artificial snow slides for year-round tubing excitement. Additionally, the park features attractions like the Alpine Slide, Ski Mountain Coaster, ice skating, and family-friendly areas. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, Gatlins Escape Games provide an exhilarating challenge.
It's fun, Octoberfest during the week for our daughter wasn't that busy. We enjoyed lots of the activities and spent most of the day there. Lots of the activities and equipment is for sure dated and needs some updating or improvements. Most of the employees were nice and assistive. The tram you need to get there at 9:40 to enjoy the views without it being crowded. We spent most of the day there and left about 4:30. Money spent was worth what we did as a total I believe. Ski lift to the observation deck was a nice and restful time.

Our family visited and turned our fun pass into a full day of adventure and fun. We parked on site and enjoyed the things for kids. We came for ice skating. We did that and so much more. Plus the tram ride to downtown was nice and we spent time in downtown before returning to ober. Less crowds due to weekday definitely made this more enjoyable. Be sure to visit the animal area. Our kids loved the others and seeing the bears.

One of the must experience in Gatlinburg ! Breathtaking view from mountain chair is the best. The tram is also nice. The food is okay. Coaster ride was fun and kids liked it. We could not do zip line but next time we will surely do that first thing ! Overall, best day spent ! We were there for close to 6 hours and felt it’s not enough lol !

This is an amazing venue with multiple attractions. Great for “kids” of all ages. The fall foliage vistas on the tram, the chair lift, and the observation deck are incredible and indescribable. The chairlift in particular reminds me much of parasailing in the Caribbean, insofar as it is quiet and smooth and isolated. it’s almost as if you’re in a world all your own. You have to see and experience it for yourself! We bought the fun pass, which included all of that and also a small wildlife habitat zoo, a rock wall, a carousel, ice-skating, a mountain coaster, and ice bumper boats. It’s best to get there when they open because you’ll otherwise run out of time to do everything that is included on your ticket. You can do everything, except for the mountain coaster, more than once. There are several coupon magazines around Gatlinburg. We were able to get four dollars off per ticket using those coupons. Still well worth the money even at full price! If you want to maximize your time, I would recommend to hit the mountain coaster first, as this is the attraction at which we had to wait most in line.

The Zoo is after you ride the Tram up to the next level it's on the left. LISA at the Otter area is so helpful and friendly. Keep up the great work. You can see you love your job. There is so much to do here at Ober Mountain (Go Early and Stay all day). With the FUN PASS that is very cheap, you can ride the Tram(all day long), the Chair Lift(to the observation deck (a view that is breathless), Ice Skate, Ice Bumper Cars, lots of other things as well. See Stacy at the information area when you come in (on right) if you have any questions, she is so HELPFUL and full of KNOWLEDGE of this mountain. She has a great personality too. Keep up you love for Ober Mountain. Our first time there, not sure if we will be back to Tennessee again, but I will spread the word. I can really say that the Mountains come alive when you are up there. Keep up the great work all.

A fun way to spend the afternoon! The ice skating was great, and even though the snow tubing and other winter attractions open tomorrow, there was still plenty to enjoy. One of my favorite things was the Wildlife Habitat ~ you can see black bears, river otters, foxes, eagles, and more for free! We even got to watch the crew feed the otters, which was adorable 🥰 Ober also have year-round activities like the Aerial Tramway, the Tennessee Flyer mountain coaster, a scenic chairlift, the alpine slide, downhill mountain biking (seasonal), and the Cloud Catcher zipline. There are several dining and shopping options too - we like the BBQ restaurant. Such a fun place! Highly recommend 👍

Updated Review: The gondola ride up was really nice and scenic. We purchased Thrill Pass tickets online ($146 each). We experienced an issue with the tickets, but they made good on an offer to remedy the situation and I’m very appreciative of that. I don’t think buying tickets online helped avoid any lines nor save time, because once we arrived we had to wait in line at guest services to redeem our online ticket for a wristband. Consider waiting and purchasing tickets there if you go so that you can verify what is open and get a good sense of the place. The alpine coaster was fun. The chair lift to the top observation deck was peaceful with a beautiful view, and it was a nice touch to have a banjo player playing live music on the deck. If they had served drinks at the top (hot cider, coffee, etc) that you could enjoy with the view, then that would have made the ride even better. It is a little older of a destination, which is evidenced by the technology and systems they have in place, as well as little things related to the ambiance. And as a couple traveling together, there wasn’t a lot to keep us busy all day. All in all, if I had small children, it may have been a better value because there is ice skating, bumper cars and swings. But Gatlinburg offers so many options for chair lift rides, alpine coasters and zip lining, that I didn’t find this to be good value for the price for adults.
Stefanie M — Google review
Lots of activities available. The wildlife park was the only thing we saw, lots of cool active animals and awesome that they have a place to recoup and be saved. We were going to take the lift but it was too cold. Unfortunately we visited during the first winter storm and werent prepared. I would visit again when in the area.

Embark on the Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg, a night tour that delves into the eerie and haunted side of the city. The tour includes a visit to a 19th-century cemetery, rumored to be haunted by ghosts. Before setting off, participants are provided with EMF readers to detect paranormal activities in the area.
Perfect amount of history and paranormal The tour was just as informative about the Gatlinburg area as it was about the ghosts that wander in the locations. Our guide was great. Plenty of energy that broadcasted his love for the town as well as his respect for the person's in the stories he told. Even his zingers and one liner dad jokes were perfectly timed and delivered. If you caught them, you couldn't help but laugh. All around entertainment. He is one of the few really good story tellers left in the country.

We got ghosted on a ghost tour! I would give this place 0 stars if I could - this is not a reputable company despite the positive reviews on other websites. My friend and I had some time to kill before the rest of our group arrived, so we decided to book a ghost tour at 8:30 PM. Booking was pretty easy and quick via a third party site - the site did mention that we would be notified if the tour was cancelled due to not enough seats being booked. We booked the tickets around 4 PM that day, but didn't receive any notification that the tour had been canceled, so we headed towards the meet up spot around 8:00 PM. The instructions said to meet by 8:15 PM at the Dolly Parton statue near the courthouse to avoid any issues with traffic/parking. My friend and I arrived at 8:10 PM but no one else was around aside from a couple of tourists taking pictures of the statue. 8:15 PM rolled around and the tour guide was nowhere in sight.. We still did not receive any communication about the tour being canceled (we even received a couple of text messages reminding us of the upcoming tour time) so we decided to wait until 8:30 PM to see if maybe the tour guide was running a little late. 8:30 PM rolls around and the tour guide never arrived. We tried calling the phone number on their website but the number is disconnected. Their email address also does not work and was undelivered, so there's no way to contact this company. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for 5 more minutes before deciding to leave. The company had the audacity to send an automated text message after the tour asking us to rate the experience. A huge disappointment as we were looking forward for a fun night. There were other ghost tours we could have booked, but we chose this place due to the good reviews and proximity to our Airbnb. DO NOT (BOO)K.

Had a great time on the historic Ghostwalk of Gatlinburg! This is not a haunted house like thing where you have people chasing you to scare you, that is NOT the purpose, but a walk through parts of Gatlinburg at night where you can learn the unadvertised history of the area. My guide, Ashli, was a fantastic guide, born and raised in the are, so was a wealth of knowledge on the area plus those fascinating tidbits of history you just don't hear about! I love learning about the history of an area, but the devices we had would change colors occasionally, so who knows? Maybe we had an extra visitor on our tour!

Hubs and I were visiting for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. Alistor was our guide! I highly recommend him! He is funny, witty, and extremely knowledgeable. We visited places we didn’t know existed. We also saw a live bear cub! Thanks for the memories!

The guide (Ashley) was super nice. She gave great description and instruction. It was annoying that everyone was late but not her or the tours fault. Only reason I gave 4 star is most of the places she talked about were demolished or "No longer had activity " for years. It was still nice to hear the story but it was a bit disappointing.

Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Winery is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts. Established in 1981, this prominent winery offers a diverse selection of award-winning varietals that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Step into their cozy tasting room and sample a variety of handcrafted wines before perusing the charming gift shop for souvenirs.
We tried several wineries on our visit to the Gatlinburg area and this one was the BEST. We loved the building and the handmade stain glass windows, so European. The lady doing the tastings was fantastic, funny, informative and kind. The wines were wonderful, we bought several bottles to take home and very reasonable prices. Next time in the area I will definitely go by to buy more wine.

The lady was rude the moment I walked in. Not a Hi welcome or anything “ stink face “ the moment I walked in. Bought 3 bottles of wine and had to ask for a bag ( nett ) to carry and travel back home for them! Thank god the wine wasn’t for me or I wouldn’t have bought any! You got the energy you deserved lady. Keep your nose up in the air! Rudest encounter I met on my whole week here!!! Everyone else everywhere friendly, smiling and welcoming… oh and the Apple Barn winery is not closed and they were offended when I told them. Spent hundreds of dollars worth there! Don’t even want to give ONE STAR!!!

it was fine. the woman who did our tasting was very knowledgeable, but talked a lot so it took awhile. she claimed they have the only true rose that exists in the world and i just don’t believe that. she also tried to get us to buy a wine opener saying that a normal one wouldn’t work on their bottles. well we didn’t buy one and the one we had at home worked just fine. seems like a gimmick to me. she refused my husband’s ID, which i understand because you can refuse anyone if you feel they are underage, but my husband has a vertical ID and hasn’t gotten a new one. so if you have a vertical ID you’re out of luck. my husband felt undermined that she kept calling him ‘adorable,’ he’s a 25 year old man. overall we got a bottle of wine because we did like it, but if you want a tasting, go somewhere else. elkmont winery on the strip is fantastic

The min you walk in it seems like they have not dusted or renovated since the 80’s. Smells like black mold. not to mention No bathrooms. No place to sit and have a glass just able to buy and do a very small communion size taste. also taste like communion wine. very disappointing. The Lady who waited on us would not stop talking g and nothing she said added up. Sounded like she was making up everything. actually bought her up in a few lies. . . Would not recommend.

Our experience of the Smoky mountain winery facility is the same as it was in the past. Excellent! Our host is Stephanie was "extra" she spent extra time telling stories of the past! Extra time giving the details of the wines we were tasting (which work were great by the way) Even took the extra time to take pictures with us!

We went to pick up 6 bottles of wine. We are locals and have been there many times. We arrived and had to Waite at least 30 minutes to be waited on. She wouldn’t shut up. All we wanted was to buy some wine. There was two other couples waiting also. She just kept on running her mouth to 3 ladies tasting wine. Had we not driven there for the wine we would have just left. Not everyone wants to hear her stories.

Also in Winter time if it snows it has the perfect little hill to sled down. I would highly recommend going to see this and just to have fun even have a picnic they have plenty of picnic tables.

Just a few minutes up Airport Road from downtown Gatlinburg you’ll find a great place for a picnic away from the bustling tourists. There’s a shelter with restrooms, picnic tables along the creek, a great playground for the kids, pro-grade tennis courts, and a newly renovated ball field if you have enough folks with you to play. Be aware that bears frequent this park—so much so that we jokingly call it, “See a bear park”.

Waterfalls
Baskins Creek Falls, also known as Baskins Falls, is a remote and scenic waterfall located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It offers a peaceful and rarely trafficked 3.1-mile round trip hike that is suitable for families. The trail leads to a picturesque waterfall along the Roaring Fork Motor Trail, providing hikers with stunning views of fall foliage and the surrounding mountains. While the hike down to the waterfall is fairly easy, the return journey presents more difficulty.
This trail is truly amazing! Compared to all the other trails we've done in the park, this one made us feel the closest to nature and the most secluded. We saw a bunch of animals along the trail, including a deer at close range. The payoff at the falls is awesome. The falls are very tall and secluded. We only saw one other group our entire hike. Make no mistake - this trail is difficult. The way out is about 1.75 miles, mostly downhill but very uneven terrain. This means that the 1.75 mile return trip is all uphill. Lots of roots and fallen trees to traverse. In addition it is fairly dangerous. Particularly close to the falls, there's a very steep sheer face to traverse safely. It's very much worth the effort, but this is a more difficult hike than the more popular trails in the park. Also note that there is very little parking for this trail, only maybe 6 or so spaces in total.
Nathan B — Google review
Had to hike 2.7 mile on way to get to this falls. It’s pretty difficult hike/ moderate , but for me the waterfalls made it worth it. Have to be careful, the uneven terrain, cliff and muddy area can be dangerous. For summer time the water felt so fresh & I brought a swimsuit to go into the waterfall and put my head & arm under( IT’S VERY STRONG SO AT UR OWN RISK). But it’s not deep. Very relaxing, but the stones can be slippery & not even. It’s secluded & private & quiet. Loved it. Worth it, but going back is a pain because it’s uphill and 2.7 miles to go back.
Dr. M — Google review
The rocks coming down the hill right before the waterfall can be slick and today (7/29/25) there was a ground nest of yellowjackets right in that area before arriving at the falls, about 1.5 miles from the trailhead/parking. They were very aggressive and multiple people were stung. When you’re approaching the falls, the hive is in the rocky hill to your left so stay to the right and move quickly. The falls are not super large but they’re pretty. Very nice trail to hike but some of the climbs can be a bit tough. Arrive early because parking fills up quickly.
Raelynn B — Google review
Everything I read about this trail said it was easy to moderate, which is why I picked it for me and my children on our trip to the Smokies in August. Nothing about this trail was easy. For starters, I expected to actually see people on this trail, as everyone said to get there early because the parking lot fills up fast. We did just that, and the parking lot filled up fast, but we did not see a single soul on this trail. The parking lot is the same one used for Rainbow Falls, so that is the reason it fills up fast. Everyone is hiking to Rainbow Falls. As a newcomer to hiking, I chose hikes under 4 miles round trip and hikes listed as easy to moderate with my young children, which is part of the reason I chose this hike over Rainbow Falls. This hike was very difficult compared to Grotto and the other hikes we did that week. It was scary not seeing anyone else on the hike. If that is your thing, you may like this, but I need to see some people to feel safe. A bear ran across the trail in between my 2 boys halfway through the hike. I get it that we may see bears, as we did on our hike to Grotto Falls, but when you don't see a single human and you're a mile away from the road it was pretty scary. The cemetery sign halfway through did not help. We did not walk to the cemetery, I did not want to scare my kids even more. The total bummer was making it so close to the falls, but the rocks and hill we would have had to climb down to actually get close enough to see it were so steep and dangerous, we decided not to attempt it. My husband made that call. It was wet and foggy from an earlier rain, and way too steep and muddy. To add to the disappointment of not seeing the falls, the grueling 1.7 mile hike back to the trailhead was awful. Completely uphill the entire hike back. My kids were crying, dry heaving, we kept having to stop, it was absolutely miserable. I didn't think we were ever going to make it out. It seemed like FOREVER. When we finally did, and I looked up the trail again and saw the elevation gain, no wonder it was so tough. About 1000 feet elevation gain! And trust me, that was all on the hike back to the trailhead. I can't believe this is listed as an easy hike! The trail also seemed very unmaintained compared to Grotto. Having to climb over downed trees and walk across tree branches to stay on the trail. Very narrow in some spots. Like I said, this may be your thing, but it was very scary and not fun at all for my children. We wouldn't do this hike again. Note: the photos look very beautiful. The scenery is amazing, it's the Smoky Mountains! Just a very desolate, tough hike.
E.M. R — Google review
If you are young and in good shape, this is an easy trail. The trip to the falls is fairly easy and mostly downhill. There is a small cemetery near the beginning of the trail. Obviously a family plot and we took a little time to look at some of the headstones. After the cemetery, the trail is fairly clear and easy to walk. When you near the falls, you have to do a little climbing and the trail to the falls is pretty steep. The trip, for me and my wife, was worth it. We enjoyed the falls and got some great pictures. Now for the trip back. It's only 1.35 miles one way, but the way back is mostly up hill and steep in some parts. My wife kept taking breaks, which was fine, but reminded us we were not prepared. We did have water but you will want to carb up before hiking this trail or, at least, take a couple of protein bars. Dispute the unexpected difficulty, we both enjoyed the trail and felt accomplished when we got back to the car.

For first timers this trail was pretty difficult.. just a heads up .. waterfalls make it worth it but kinda dangerous if your not up to a challenge
Haley Q — Google review
Decent elevation for a shorter hike. Make sure to cross the creek to the other side of the falls for the best view. Also be careful we saw a family of bears on the trail
Tyson M — Google review
Beautiful trail but BEWARE of aggressive ground hornets (or some other aggressive stinging insect…we didn’t stick around long enough to identify them). We hiked this on 10/02/2025 in the morning, as a group of 7 adults. There is a ground hornet nest at the very end of the trail right before the final path leading to the waterfall. As the other review mentioned, it’s after a big rock you have to jump down. They described that it was on the rock hill itself, but we encountered the nest in the middle of the trail path. We didn’t notice the nest on our way down but may have disturbed it without noticing. On our way up after enjoying the waterfall, the first two members in our group were attacked by the hornets. They ran away until the hornets stopped attacking while the rest of us stayed back to avoid being stung/chased. The rest of us eventually found a less frequented trail on the other side of the waterfall and hiked up and around the top of the waterfall until we reached the main trail.

The Gatlinburg Farmers Market is a bustling hub for fresh, locally-sourced produce and homemade goods in Sevier and Cocke counties. Visitors can peruse a wide array of offerings including organic blueberries, farm-fresh eggs, local honey, heirloom vegetables, and delectable baked goods. The market also hosts live music and fun activities for both kids and adults during special events like Kids Day.
Produce is by local farmers (not brought in from other states). Locally produced sour wood honey! The best honey I have ever had. Naturally grown plants that are edible, medicinal, and ornamental. Artisan baked goods, dog treats, crafts, jams, jellies and a whole lot more.

I can't recommend this market enough. I've been to much bigger markets that didn't have as many neat items and amazing friendly people. Even had a chocolate covered banana. Support local. Moonshine tasting is a popular activity in the Great Smoky Mountains. Several distilleries offer samples for visitors to try, and all are worth a visit for the delicious moonshine. Some distilleries have nominal fees for Moonshine Tasting, which many will give back upon purchase. Try some of Gatlinburg's famous Smoky Mountain moonshine at one of the distilleries in town!
We signed up for a free tour of the distillery and it was so awesome to learn about how they make their moonshine!! The $5 tasting was also great and Josh was a funny bartender! This tasting and the staff were more engaging than other tastings we tried and places visited.

Out of all the tastings we did, this was the most fun and we liked the samples the best! Payton was such a fun bartender and kept us coming back each day. They also have a bar in the back where you can try some of the flavors they don’t serve during the tasting!
Mia T — Google review
The guy we had during our tastings was hilarious, and you get a good amount to sample too. We bought a few jars to take home because we got a good deal.

We had amazing experiences at all 3 tasting options!! DK went above and beyond to make sure the Behind the Stave and Roaming Man tours were amazing. If you can catch Rob Ham for a tasting- do it!!

Gatlin’s Mini Golf is a popular destination offering a variety of attractions, including miniature golf, laser tag, bumper cars, and a 3D theater. The location features two outdoor mountainside courses and an indoor blacklight course with sea life and other creatures. With 45 holes spread across creative courses that incorporate plants, flowers, and centuries-old trees into the landscape, visitors can also learn about the history of Gatlinburg as they play.
We went mid day on a Monday and had no wait or issues navigating the course. One of the courses was closed, but we still had a good time. This one is a little more pricey than the other mini golf places, but it had nice views.
Dustin K — Google review
We got the unlimited deal. It’s definitely worth it. One of the courses was closed while we were there, which was a disappointment. But other than that we still had a great time. The outdoor has a lot of stairs so be aware before making the walk/drive over there if someone in your party is unable to do stairs. The indoor course is 9 holes and the AC works amazingly. There are a few stairs in there to do one of the holes. Overall we will go back and hopefully get to do the other course.

We actually did the Escape Room and it was a blast. Damon made the adventure. He was great!!! I would i highly recommend.
David W — Google review
They have 2 outside 18 hole courses and 1 blacklight 9 hole indoor course. They do have a nice all you can play 10 day deal that was a good price.
Chad G — Google review
A little expensive for what it offers. You get 4 games for $21.95 + tax, which is ok, but time is less than 5 min a game in a very small space. The sky trail was not bad for the kids to try and they enjoyed it. It is a clean place in a good area and view. You should still visit it as it is not as crowded as other places around with professional staff and a clean place.

Went here as a family one evening when we wanted something to do (my son had been here before & asked to go). They had so many activities and some great packages to make your visit great!! There was an escape room, bumper cars, gel blaster, 3 putt-putt courses & that’s just what I remember. We were tired from the day so we opted to do the putt-putt. We had a blast!! We did one of the outdoor courses & the indoor blacklight course.
Charity Z — Google review
Great little place to have some fun with adults or kids both! They have passes where you can play all 3 courses! 2 outdoor and 1 indoor, the indoor was really cool black light course! All the kids we saw come in loved it! Even we loved it!

Nice place to play some putt putt. They have a total of three courses here. Two of them are outside on the side of a hill, and the other is a blacklist course inside. My wife and I bought the unlimited 10 day pass to play all three courses as many time as we want over the course of 10 days. Today, we have played all three. We wil be going to back to play some more tomorrow as well. If you're lucky, like us, a bear comes wandering onto the course as it did for us tonight. There are also some great views of the strip the higher you get on the course!

The Skybridge is a breathtaking architectural marvel that offers visitors stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It is suspended high above the ground, providing an exhilarating experience for those who dare to walk across it. The bridge allows guests to feel as though they are walking on air, surrounded by nothing but the open sky and incredible vistas.
Had the best time with the kids. We paid online in advance, and got to skip a large group which was nice. On the way up we saw dropped items. I recommend making sure all personal items are secured. The views are breath taking, and we loved the fans with mist. They cooled us down, and my kids enjoyed playing in them. There are benches to take a rest on through out the park. Food, and drink are available at different areas. We spent a lot of time here, and it was so pretty to see it at night all lit up. I highly recommend the night view as well. Pay extra and get an all day pass. It’s worth it.

Gatlinburg is a charming mountain town that truly captures the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Surrounded by beautiful forests and scenic views, it’s the perfect place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The streets are filled with cozy cafés, local shops, and friendly people who make you feel welcome right away. Every corner has something unique — from handmade crafts to delicious southern food. The highlight of my visit was the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, an incredible experience that blends adventure with stunning beauty. Walking across the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America gives you breathtaking views of the mountains, especially during sunset. Standing on the glass panels in the middle of the bridge feels thrilling yet peaceful at the same time. The area around the SkyLift Park is very well maintained and offers great photo spots, seating, and little shops to explore. Gatlinburg overall feels lively yet relaxing — a perfect mix of nature, excitement, and charm. Whether you come for hiking, sightseeing, or simply to breathe in the mountain air, this town will definitely leave you with lasting memories.

A must for top of the mountain views. A great place to watch the sunset and relax with a drink. The live music was entertaining while just chillin in the rockers. The hiking trails that have been added give you a chance to see the mountains from different views and get exercise. The Christmas decor is so festive and fun. Watching the sunset and then the full moon was just spectacular. Walking across the bridge is exciting and beautiful.

One of our favorite places during our trip to Gatlinburg! The views were amazing and we walked 2 of the trails. The rocking chairs were really comfy and the SkyBridge was a nice experience 😊

Really nice adventure. Beautiful view. The bridge does sway a little bit. There is a clear see through panel half way across. Definitely not for people who are afraid of heights. 😂

An absolute must do!! But take the time to do it right! You want to enjoy the views up there! The lift is steep but a nice ride. You can walk on the bridge or take the bypass which is not very long to get to the other side. Get up there and get yourself a drink and pick a rocking chair and just enjoy what you came to enjoy, the Great Smoky Mountains!!

Gatlinburg SkyPark offers an open-air chairlift ride to an 1,800-ft. overlook with stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The park also includes the newly opened Gatlinburg SkyTrail with Tulip Tower, providing ADA accessibility along its Boardwalk section.
This was just breathtaking, you must go and take in the beauty of the scenery!! The chairlift ride up and down gave me thrills! When you get to the top of the mountain, you have the view of Gatlinburg and the mountains! And crossing the SkyBridge was an extraordinary experience, especially walking across 30 feet of clear glass panels in the middle of the bridge, where you can look straight down! Not to be missed! Also, the town of Gatlinburg is just wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed walking along the Main Street area, with all the shops, attractions, places to eat, wineries, ice cream parlors.

Had a good ride up on the chairlift. Got a drink and looked over the waterfall display. Walked across the sky bridge and returned via the hiking trail by the tower. All in all was very excellent.

A great place to see the trees and explore atop the mountain... places to sit and enjoy the view, firepits, walking trails, food and beverage, too. Going across on the sky ridge was fun and not too scary...even managed the clear section of the bridgd, once my brain learned that I was supported.
Rose C — Google review
Absolutely incredible, breathtaking views! The ride in the ski lift up the mountain was just as fun. The center of the bridge is the only area where you can look straight down at the ground through the floor of the bridge. It does bounce pretty good if you try to stand in the center of the bridge. When you get to the other side, you can enjoy some food and drinks in the shade, if your lucky, it gets very crowded, and the prices are high.
What E — Google review
The view is astonishing, however a little pricey compared to what you have to purchase in order to have fun. Every ticket is separated so per person be ready to spend at least $60, not including food or drinks. For you/us smokers make sure you smoke enough before going up. You will find a "Please NO SMOKING" sign every few feet apart. I had my fun and enjoyed the stay.
Antuan M — Google review
My wife, friend and I finally got to walk across this awesome bridge. Views from the top are breathtaking! It was a cloudy day. Rained all week but bridge didn't disappoint. Tickets are pricey but worth it. Plenty of places to sit and food smelled really good. If we had not already eaten at a pancake house, we probably would have bought a smash burger.
James J — Google review
Nice place. Must visit. The view is very awesome and you wont regret. The overhyped thing about this location is the glass bridge, the glass is only there at the center of bridge. If you dont have tickets then the queue is very long, book it online and skip the queue.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A once-in-a-lifetime view you’ll never forget! SkyPark in Gatlinburg isn’t just an attraction — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. The moment you step onto the SkyLift and rise above the town, the Smoky Mountains unfold in front of you like a painting. Reaching the SkyBridge feels surreal — walking across the glass panels in the middle is thrilling yet peaceful, with the mountains stretching endlessly around you. What truly makes SkyPark special is the combination of adventure and serenity. The evening lights from downtown Gatlinburg sparkle below while the mountain silhouettes glow in the sunset. The SkyTrail adds a perfect touch of exploration, and every viewpoint feels designed for that perfect photo moment. The staff are friendly, the facilities spotless, and the atmosphere is pure magic — especially if you visit close to sunset when the colors shift from golden to deep blue. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or with family, SkyPark is the heart of Gatlinburg’s beauty — a must-visit that captures the soul of the Smokies.

Tennessee Cider Company is a popular cidery in Gatlinburg, offering a unique experience with its airy and rustic-style tasting room. Visitors can purchase bottles of locally crafted hard ciders to enjoy in the back tasting area with provided glassware. The company has become a bustling cider bar, serving their ciders daily from morning until late at night. Despite its small public space, Tennessee Cider Company brews small batches of delicious and crisp ciders for visitors to taste.
If you like cider, definitely stop by Tennessee Cider Company while in Gatlinburg! You can sample three flavors for free, and they have a great selection of unique options. The staff was friendly and it’s a fun stop!

This cider is AMAZING!! We were visiting Gatlinburg and stopped in. Blake was the absolute best! We each got to try 3 different ciders and we ended up buying 3 bottles! We love the little cider glasses that came with the purchase of 3 bottles! We got the original, Black & Blue, and Black Cherry (my favorite). They also ship online (free shipping if you purchase 4 or more bottles). We will definitely be ordering!
Lindsay K — Google review
Jared was our tasting specialist and for $7, we sampled all the ciders. He was also a clever mixologist as he'd mix 2 flavors to create new flavor experiences! If he hadn't of done that, I would not have purchased both pineapple & strawberry hard cider. The peach mimosa was my favorite and I plan to enjoy it Christmas morning! It was light, refreshing and delicious. Their fruit standards are very impressive as is the way they ferment these yummy ciders! As a bonus, we also received 2 cute barrel shaped glasses with the logo imprinted on them! Highly recommend this stop!

Jeremy was amazing! He made our tasting experience so much fun and really took the time to explain each cider. His energy and friendly attitude made us feel welcome right away. Tennessee Cider Company is a top notch operation considering there are several in Gatlinburg. They provide a personalized tasting service and suggestions. The ciders are all amazing and the distillery feels rustic yet homey. This is the place to go for cider in Gatlinburg hands down!
Matt R — Google review
Walked right in and up to a tasting station. We told the bartender what we liked and didn't like about ciders in general and he served up what he thought were our best options since we prefer a dry cider. Jared was knowledgeable not only about their ciders, but also about other brands on the market. On a personal note, we loved that he was allowed to wear a hat that said Jesus on it and appreciated his bold choice to proclaim his faith in a public setting.

My family‘s been on me about not getting enough fruit in my diet, so I’m gonna definitely recommend the Tennessee cider company for your Apple cider intake.😂😂. What an amazing place the samples were great. The tasting was wonderful. The price is outstanding. I think we left with six bottles and came back for another five a week later truly a great experience and truly amazing cider.

It features five galleries that cover the history of American crime, crime scene investigation, the consequences of crime, crime fighting, and pop culture. The museum showcases over 100 interactive exhibits and artifacts related to notorious criminals such as Al Capone and John Dillinger.

The exhibits are well organized and full of interesting facts about American crime history, from famous cases to forensic science. There’s a great mix of interactive displays, real artifacts, and educational information that keeps you engaged the entire time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere made learning about history both fun and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge — it’s a must-see attraction!

We visited on July 27, 2025. We had a wonderful time. There is not much for kids to do, so I would not plan to take kids. They will probably be bored. There also is not much room for strollers or for kids to run around and play. I would not pay extra for the audio tour. There wasn't really much to it. There are so many people and so much going on, remembering to play audio was another step to remember. There is a lot of reading. If you plan to read and take it all in, I would plan to be there all day. The staff wasn't friendly at all. We encounter one nice employee her name was Stephanie. Stephanie checked us out at the gift shop. You can take pictures as long as you do not use the flash on your camera. You can not record any video, though. Overall it was very interesting, we had a good time, the price for tickets wasn't bad at all, and the gift shop was affordable.

Had a great time learning tons of interesting facts and stories. Every exhibit was thorough and informative. We spent about an hour and a half through the whole museum. Would recommend for anyone in the area!
Dana W — Google review
This was my first time to the crime museum after several visits to the area. I arrived at 6pm with a 9pm closing time. Though I only saw about half of all the information there is to offer, I enjoyed everything I saw. Around 815pm I heard a voice saying things along the lines of "You need to hurry up. We dont have all night." I just figured it was a visitor trying to hurry their group along. As I continued through the museum, I heard more comments such as, "The museum closes at 9. We need to move along." I still didn't know who was making the comments. I had seen an employee passing through the spaces after 8pm, but hadn't given any thought to it. At about 8:25 pm I saw the employee speak to another employee, in an obvious manner so we visitors could here, "If people want to stop and look at everything, they need to get here earlier. They need to stop letting people in this late. I want to go home." I wasn't aware how far along in the museum I was, so hurried along through the rest. At 8:30pm the announcement was made that the museum will be closing in 30 minutes, over the loud speaker. That was followed by that recently familiar voice saying, "So move it on." I was out of the museum at 8:40pm, so as it turns out, we were being rushed out with about 30 minutes from the exit anyhow. I really enjoyed the museum and I would visit again, just probably earlier in the day.
Roberg316 — Google review
It was pretty cool here. You definitely learn a lot about everything that happened in the past. Went during the daytime in the week. You were shoulder to shoulder with people. And that wasn't too pleasant. So it made seeing some things and reading some of the captions a little harder.

This is my second time going! I love it!! They have added more stuff since the first time we went, so it’s pretty cool that they add stuff and it’s not always the same when you go! Both times I had specifically went for Theodore Bundys stuff! Staff there are so sweet and nice! I had asked the manager a question about the bug and his response was not what I wanted buuut he was very nice about!! Just wish it was a little cheaper! That’s the only complain! But overall would go again and again!

This is an incredible museum! I highly recommend this museum. This was my second time in 10 years and it was amazing to see the updated information on cases. They have multiple interactive exhibits as well! Keeps the fun going for everyone!

Ripley's Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg, Tennessee offers a spine-chilling experience for thrill-seekers and horror enthusiasts. This haunted house features live actors, cutting-edge special effects, and meticulously themed rooms that create an interactive and terrifying atmosphere. Open year-round until midnight, visitors can expect to be kept on their toes as they navigate through creepy corridors and encounter plenty of surprises.
This was actually fun despite the fact that my children rushed me through I would’ve liked to take my time and enjoy. Great job to the actor who scared two kids into not even doing it and the rest screaming their way through it. I would add photos but we weren’t allowed to do so, so here is the one right outside the entrance.
Michael B — Google review
I happened to walk across a couple who bought two tickets but the lady didn't want to go and I was offered to use the ticket. Did not see why it took 10+ minutes to enter the room unless the staff was waiting for the previous group to clear the site to be safe and not to bump into each other. Before actual entrance there was a brief safety measure given and also that's the last queue to back out if you make a last minute change. As similar to other haunted houses there are many animatronic figures and loud sounds to create the scary vibes and few sections with complete dark sections made it a little difficult to navigate. It took about 8 minutes from start to finish based on my pace and was a little disappointed not able to take photos except the entrance and final exit.
Peter — Google review
We did the Ripleys combo package so decided to give this a try. It definitely had some jump scares. Overall I think it was a pretty good time and I would recommend it, especially if you are someone who likes gory things. At times it reminded me of the Saw movies.
Heather — Google review
Having no idea what to expect going into this, it was definitely entertaining. I would like to shout-out the employee who somehow managed to not break character both when I was defecated on by a bird, and when they were providing me with some towels and hand sanitizer to clean my hoodie with. For the actual attraction, do know that it is not very long, but it was definitely spooky. A huge shoutout though to the tunnel at the end. I'd prefer not to spoil anything, but I was unaware that my brain could make it feel like I was falling in 5 directions at the same time.
Philip S — Google review
I've been to this haunted adventure around 4 or 5 times through the last 14 years. Usually with my kids. It's always been a frightfully good experience. The spooky and creepy decor is awesome. Some great jump scares. A few more actors would give it the 5 star spook rating.
Jim B — Google review
For a Ripley's, this was pretty Mickey Mouse… I feel we could've used our free pass (we bought a three pack) on something more fun. This was the most basic of haunted houses, not scary at all, and far below the caliber we have come to expect from Ripley's.
Julie M — Google review
I heard from a previous guest that there used to be three levels of the haunted adventure and on my visit there was only one level. The whole experience felt rushed and there is potential for this to be fun but Ripley’s needs to step it up a little. It is recommended to buy tickets as a part of a combo pass instead of buying at the door. We went before Halloween and had some fun but any other time of year would probably be a waste of time.
Maris Z — Google review
My teenager and I went through this with a rather large group(at least 10 people). We were at the end of this group. This was my 2nd time. The other group of people in front of us had been before and were blowing through everything in the haunt. It was impossible to really do/enjoy any of the puzzles. Overall, this was a very different experience from my first time and a disappointment for my son for his first time through.

Fannie Farkle's Amusement is a must-visit venue in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a unique combination of delicious food and exciting arcade entertainment. While it may not be your typical sit-down restaurant, the menu boasts mouthwatering options such as footlong corn dogs, sausage subs, cheesesteaks, and the famous Ogle Dogs. These corn dog-style treats are prepared using a secret family recipe with locally sourced ingredients.
Fannie Farkle’s is a Gatlinburg staple! Reminds me of my childhood! Every single time, the corndogs do not disappoint! They are delicious! I always want to try the sandwich but corndog wins! The arcade has a little something for everyone! If you’re walking around downtown, it’s a must!
Megan W — Google review
Most reviews talk about the food so let me give a review in regards to the arcade: not good. We enjoyed the arcade 15 years ago and came back for the nostalgia but seems like a lot changed. It’s like all claw machines or those dropping tokens and hoping it pushes a card down games. We love a good arcade and do them frequently so we know the good games well. There were not many good games and the good ones they had were broken or ‘rigged.’ For example the knock the clowns down game had so few balls it would be impossible to win the jackpot. Both ping pong games had cups that didn’t register so it was impossible to win. We saw a different arcade down the street that looked like it would have been a lot better. Even if you like claw machines, these didn’t seem very ‘friendly’ to winning. The arcade glory days of Fannie Farkle are over. Maybe they have good food (didn’t try it) but don’t go here for the arcade!
Brittany S — Google review
We were drawn in by the smell of grilled onions. I ordered the smoked sausage and my wife ordered the cheesesteak. Both were amazing! The cheesesteak was absolutely loaded with beef and cheese. We couldn’t finish it. The sausage had the perfect snap and was served piping hot. It was so good that I went back to see if I could order some to the house. That’s when I found out that they have have a supplier that makes them specifically for them. Fast and friendly service too. This will be a stop that we make every time we’re in town now. Reminded me of fair food. 10/10 (the picture is after the cheesesteak cooled in the fridge, but it should still show how loaded the sandwich was)

This is always a must stop for our family! My son absolutely loves the corn dogs here & loves the arcade games. We always spend more than an hour here. Staff have always been friendly & helpful. There are many different games & some super cool prizes! To play the games you use one of the machines around the arcade, you receive a reusable game card and the machines take cash bills & credit/debit cards. The food is served at the front of the arcade. This is not a ‘restaurant’ so expect to stand or walk around or even find a bench just outside to eat your food.

Love this place! Great Corndogs great games in Gatlinburg. We visit everytime we go. I've been visiting for over 30 years.
Cale B — Google review
We were SO looking forward to visiting this place. We were SO disappointed in it!! The young man working the corn dogs/drinks was not friendly at all. The corn dogs, rather than being "fresh dipped" were laying on a griddle, keeping warm. They looked oily and just VERY unappetizing. He wasn't making "fresh" ones. This was at lunch time. So, we passed on the "legendary" corn dog as we knew he was going to give us a premade one that had been keeping warm on griddle for Lord only knows how long. For the high price of the food, you expect FRESHLY MADE! We were equally as unimpressed with their "arcade". Very small and very few claw games. Lousy prizes, too. Not worth the money to play at all. We left there not wanting to ever go back. It looked SO much better on videos and their website! I don't understand all the hype about this place! We were so bummed!
Kristi M — Google review
I was so excited to try the corn dogs only for them to have a dirty fridge aftertaste 🤮 had to throw it away but the hot dogs right across were really good.

If you’re looking for an exceptional corn dog, this is the place. Every time we come to Gatlinburg, we have to stop here for my wife. Super fresh, hand dipped corn dogs that are sometimes so hot you have to wait for them to cool off. I think the guy working there has pretty much been there his entire life and interacts very well with his customers.

Located in Gatlinburg, the Amazing Mirror Maze & Circus Golf offers an exciting and unique experience for the whole family. The Circus Golf features a full 18-hole indoor course with circus characters, blacklights, sound effects, animatronic characters, and computer animations. It's a combination of a circus funhouse and miniature golf that promises an unforgettable time. Meanwhile, the Amazing Mirror Maze is one of the largest mirror maze attractions globally with seven different attractions to navigate through.
Could use a little bit of a face lift but the old school carnival look is fun too. And for the price it was a good deal! It was $12 total for both the mirror maze and the mini golf course. Both are indoors with air conditioning! Sent my adult boys in there and they enjoyed both. They spent about 15 mins in the mirror maze and 30 on mini golf.
Krista H — Google review
Mirror maze is fairly easy but cool. They gave plastic gloves to wear to prevent finger prints. It was dark with black lights and rainbow lights flashing. Golf course is indoors. 18 holes. They have a variety of sizes for the clubs. It's not the best but definitely worth the price. Blacklights only, so everything glows. Cool vibe and wasn't too busy.

We had a blast!! Two adults and we had a great time playing mini golf here! Will go back for sure. Grab a coupon and let the rivalry begin!
A W — Google review
Had a blast. We did both activities. Mirror Maze was fun only lost one person. As soon as we got to the mini golf our eyes were having a hard time to adjust. We were the only ones there which was great. Took our time to take pics and enjoy the courses.
Gabie P — Google review
We did a brief stay in Tennessee on our roadtrip and we stopped to see Gatlinburg and did the circus mini golf and mirror maze. It was super affordable for the 6 of us to do the maze and golf it was $60 which you couldn’t beat. The golf was cute and fun very child friendly. Very simple course but the decorations are awesome. We loved and spent a good amount of time at the hole with the fun mirrors. The Mirror maze is trippy and we laughed a ton. Overall we had a great time and would recommend checking out this attraction.
Tanya P — Google review
It's OK. Mirror maze is pretty good and fun. Lots of turns and twist. The putt putt golf needs updated. The courses are ok but are older. They have black lights throughout the 18 holes. It's ok. Good thing it's in door and air-conditioned. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Guess it gets boring for the employees as had to wait a sec for the lady to close her game of spades to sell us tickets. 🙄
Shelby E — Google review
Three stars because the put put was very small and basic. Like, small courses and not a lot of challenge. The mirror maze was awesome. One kid got lost pretty seriously, because they ran off. Took a min to find her. The adults had a blast.
Cole — Google review
Out of so many to choose in the area, so glad we found this place. What a blast! It was cold outside so we were looking for an indoor activity and I’m so glad we stopped here. We went through the mirror maze and played the mini golf for $10 a person, so price was great. Maze was cool getting lost in and the course was fun. Looking for something fun and cheap to do in the area, this should be a must.

Emert's Cove Covered Bridge is a must-see in Gatlinburg, offering a unique and picturesque spot for photography. Dating back to 1790, it is one of the oldest covered bridges in the area with plenty of historical charm. Crossing over Little Pigeon River, this wooden bridge features wrought iron windows and offers stunning views of the surrounding scenic beauty.
Contrary to its historic appearance, the bridge was constructed in 2000, designed to resemble traditional covered bridges. The bridge spans the Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon River, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is room to park maybe 2 cars just before bridge and there is a rough trail if you want to step into the river.
Mark E — Google review
Scenic drive to this pretty little covered bridge. It has a pedestrian walkway you can stroll across and check out the view through the windows. Built in 2000 so not really architecturally interesting but worth a look if you are near by.
The R — Google review
Was in the area, so we had to go see this bridge. There are a few spots to park on the side of the road. You can walk through it and go down to the water. There were people fishing. The water is so clear. We weren't there long.

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful. Easy to get Too.. Very picturesque!!!!! Would recommend bringing a picnic, camera And your swimsuit. This is a little off the beaten path. But absolutely stunning!!!!!

Visiting 9/18/22 early evening. Dating back to 1790, this is a must-see if you're in the area. One of the oldest covered bridges with lots of history. It still has the wrought iron windows, which are pretty cool. Wooden bridge that crosses over a gorgeous creek. The creek is accessible. Just be careful getting down the embankment. Parking is a problem. Just have to pull over & out of the way. The drive to it is beautiful and scenic with some old homes along the way. It's a little community with lots of history. I've included the plaque in my photos with the history.
True B — Google review
Cool place to see. The creek is beautiful and easy to walk down too and get in.
Justin B — Google review
Drove all the way there to find a closed down bridge. Also misleading in saying that the bridge is historic. It was originally built in 2000, so it really doesn't have much history besides naming it after someone from the 1790's.
Joseph P — Google review
Great spot to explore the middle prong of the Pigeon River, walk along the banks, fish, or wade. Water is deep and cool, a great spot for tubing, wading, swimming, or bringing the dog(s).

Nature & Parks
Herbert Holt Park is a charming park located just off the Gatlinburg Parkway on North Park Lane. Despite its smaller size, it offers an array of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. From horseshoe pits and a playground area to a children's fishing stream, there's something for everyone. The park also houses Gatlinburg's Trout Rearing Facility, the only municipal trout farm in the state.
As a local and a highly avid fisherman, I bring my little boy here often to make some fishing memories while he's still young. Beautiful park, with absolutely great fishing for children. The town has went above and beyond to give kids, a place to feel a part of the local fishing tradition. Yet have a place to call there own and play and spend time as a family. Absolutely superb park, and very clean. Bonus Fish Hatchery on site to view while there.
Seek O — Google review
We love this park, it's clean, restrooms are clean, it has a trout hatchery where you can see the trout from behind fencing of course (for both the fish's protection and human protection too). The ONLY thing that would make this park better is a few swings for the kiddos. Also, this park allows 12 and under to fish for FREE, so much fun for the kids. They also have picnic areas and fido friendly.
Angelia D — Google review
What a great park— clean, fun playground for all ages, easy fishing access for the kids. The highlight for our group was a shallow steam, easy for wading, or letting the kids cool down after playing. The pavilion is huge, and it’s fun to look in on the fish in the hatchery that’s right there.
Erin F — Google review
Beautiful park, clean restrooms very nice place to stretch your legs or sit at the picnic table. Gorgeous stream.
Jill C — Google review
Very clean park with temperature controlled restrooms. Fishing is easily accessible, but for 12 and under only. Even handicapped accessible fishing. Don’t miss the trout breeding pools in the back.
Go ( — Google review
Was here for the first time with my daughter who participated in the kids trout fishing tournament. She was able to start her day here and quickly caught the two she was allowed, the biggest weighing in at 2.5 lbs!
Kirk D — Google review
Very nice park but there is a trout hatchery next to it! That doesn't mix well with kids, bears and fish! We took my grandchildren there to play and saw big bear mud prints on the sidewalk a few minutes later a huge black bear was a few feet away from my young granddaughter! It was a very scary experience! We spent over two weeks in Gatlinburg but never went back to this park because of the bear activity. We were here mid October- 2025 Loved the park, beautiful area but bears are not for us! Why put a fish hatchery next to a children's park!?
Misty W — Google review
Easy to get to, clean, and great for kids fishing. There's a playground not far from the water and bathrooms.

Anakeesta's Treetop Skywalk offers a unique nature experience with its 880-foot network of bridges suspended 50-60 feet above the ground, making it the longest skywalk in the United States. Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains from AnaVista Tower, the highest point in downtown Gatlinburg. Lucky guests might even catch a glimpse of bears from this aerial vantage point.
10/10 recommend!! Great place to go if you are visiting! The place had activities, playgrounds, food that was reasonably priced, and it was very clean! The skylift up there had 2 options, a seat or a cabin, great if you have kids. The roller coaster was very fun and had brakes if you like things slower. Very family friendly and highly recommend.
D. P — Google review
This is a lot of fun for families with kids. We took our 8 year olds up the lift to the top of the mountain and they had a lot of fun. Not sure it would have been that exciting without kids though! And can't speak to how older kids would enjoy it, but for the younger kids it was lots of fun. And some great pic opportunities up there!
Mark — Google review
The Treetop Skywalk is a fun way to see the forest from above, with suspended bridges that add a little thrill without being too intense. It’s a unique experience, especially at night when the path lights up and the forest feels quiet and magical. The walk is smooth and manageable, even for older family members, though it helps to go early or late to avoid crowds. We went twice—once during the day and again after dark—and both times offered something different. It’s not the best spot for panoramic views, but the experience itself is worth it. Just take your time, be mindful of slower walkers, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the walk.
Jonathan P — Google review
Amazing destination for family fun.. had a great time with kids on almost all their attractions. Loved their treetop sky walk both at day and dusk with lighting.. mountain coasters, astralumina tree venture and much more... preplan to get the tickets, annual pass is worth, if you can make another trip within the year.. the lines to get on to the chair lift can get crazy during peak seasons (wait 2 hours going up and 1 hrs coming down). Annual pass can let you in express lane while going up (not coming down).
Mervyn P — Google review
So much more bouncy than I expected! We laughed and laughed and laughed! Definitely a bit tiring! But it was very fun! We went during the day time, I bet it would look amazing at night - we would definitely do it again! There was no wait time and we had the place to ourselves on a Friday afternoon.

Speedwerkz Exotic Car Experience in Gatlinburg is a must-visit for car enthusiasts. Unlike other car museums, it showcases a rare collection of exotic cars including Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, and Ferrari. Visitors can sit in the cars for photos and even enjoy driving simulators to experience what it's like to drive these high-performance vehicles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering insights into the impressive collection. Additionally, visitors can purchase unique merchandise related to these exotic cars.
This place is excellent! One of the owners of the cars was working the desk at the front, just to give you an idea of how much they genuinely care about their customers. Terry was a wealth of knowledge, sharing details for each and every vehicle in the building. Was a hit with all of my guys and I surprisingly enjoyed myself, too!
Casey E — Google review
Just a crazy experience to be able to see some of these cars up close or to even sit in a Lamborghini. Seeing a Bugatti up close is so much cooler oven experience than I would have imagined. The racing experience with the very high-end very high-tech interactive racing set up really puts into perspective how hard it would be to control a car moving at those speeds. Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back to see what they have in the future.
Andrew B — Google review
Very cool experience to see such awesome cars on display. Their racing sim was lots of fun. Very friendly and helpful staff and spoke to Daniel one of the owners and he was very friendly and personable. Will come back again next time we come visit in town!
Andrew C — Google review
My son loves anything with wheels. When this place featured a Bugatti, I knew we had to visit. Very cool experience and a chance to see some high dollar cars up close. My son did the add-on experiences of the driving simulators and sitting in a Lamborghini. He loved both. Great photo ops everywhere you turn.
Kessiah G — Google review
Hands down one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. Being surrounded by some of the rarest exotics on the planet was surreal — and actually getting to sit inside a Lamborghini? Unreal. The staff made it feel personal, not just like another visit. The moment they launch a drive experience, count me as their first customer. I’ll be there before the engines even cool.
Chris P — Google review
As a car guy I was obviously drawn to this place. It was even cooler than I thought it would be. A lot of cool cars that you’ll likely never see again, super helpful staff, and all around a fun time. I highly recommend this place to anybody who is into supercars or hypercars. You can’t go wrong by going here
James W — Google review
For exotic car enthusiasts, this place is awesome! The look on my boys' faces when they sat in that Lamborghini and grabbed the wheel was priceless! I think we went to each floor numerous times. All the staff were super friendly and really enjoyed knowing the history of the owners and this place. My boy says he wants to meet the owner that drives for Porsche! Great place, great staff, great memories made! Thanks Speedwerkz!

Super rare and cool cars this was the best experience I prolly ever had in my entire life as we just came to Tennessee for a vacation which turned into me seeing my dream cars up close and personal! Off-Road Gatlinburg offers an exciting off-road adventure for ATV and side-by-sides (SXS) enthusiasts near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With scenic mountain views and exclusive access to beautiful trails, visitors can enjoy a unique experience in nature. The guided tours are led by knowledgeable guides who ensure a safe and enjoyable ride through the picturesque landscapes. Whether booking a street-legal rental or an off-road tour, participants can expect thrilling rides on well-maintained machines.
We went on an off-road tour in May 2024, and it was absolutely fantastic truly one of the coolest things we’ve ever done. Our boys were 3 and 5 at the time, and not only were they able to ride along in the back of the UTV in their car seats, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were safely strapped in and completely comfortable. Everyone there was so kind, friendly, and helpful it really set the tone for a great experience. We live on a farm and our boys are no strangers to mud, dirt, or ATVs but this took things to a whole new level. When I say they were not underwhelmed, I mean they were absolutely blown away. We hit muddy trails, climbed up hillsides, and got a real taste of off-road adventure. Every single second was a blast. Definitely don’t skip the goggles they’re a must with all the dust! But that just made it feel even more legit and exciting. Our tour guide was awesome, the whole crew was top-notch, and the “Million Dollar View” stop really is worth it. If you’re on the fence about booking especially because of the price—do it. No question. We spent 12 days in Tennessee and this was easily one of our favorite memories from the entire trip. This place is amazing!
Jay N — Google review
We had sooo much fun with Rissa and Kayla! We experienced the sunset tour and it was everything we could have imagined! The UTV was great but our guides were phenomenal. No regrets with this tour. It was worth every cent but our memories are priceless! Highly recommend!

Very well organized, concerned with safety and worth every penny! We enjoyed our ride! It rained the night before our ride, so getting a bit muddy was fun! Getting to the top to the "Million Dollar View" overlook was awesome. Could see for miles! Staff very nice!

This place was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I felt so safe but set up for that extreme thrill! Our guide and the leader of the pack, Jayden, was so sweet and made sure to lead and direct us clearly and safely through the terrain without avoiding the adventure we signed up to experience. Definitely something I would like to bring others back to experience! Thank you so much for the fun memories!
Ginger C — Google review
What a ride!!! Off-Road Gatlinburg put us on some insane trails during the sunset tour. There were steep climbs, rocky downhills, creek crossings, and amazing views - especially the Million Dollar View at the end! This was the perfect grand finale for our week in the Smoky Mountains! Our family of six with kids ranging from 2-10 all had a great time! We strapped our own five-point car seat in the back of the Honda Pioneer 6-seater and there was plenty of room for everyone. The terrain is as rough as you would want it to be, but it never felt unsafe. The trails were well maintained and still felt rugged at the sand time. The machines are well equipped to handle the tour. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive. They made us feel safe the entire time. We definitely got our money’s worth!
Tim D — Google review
I would highly recommend this adventure. Chase was our guide and he was exceptional. The trip was worth the $600 that we paid. And dont forget to bring extra to tip they deserve it. We booked the sunset tour and the view at that time when we got to the top was spectacular. We rented two, since we had a party of 6. A Honda and a Kawasaki. The ride was full of thrills and excitement. You better know how to drive and hold on tight. You are in for the ride of your life. Gets a 10 from us! Loved every minute ❤️ 1.5 hrs 😍

Today was great fun with Jayden and our girl crew off road ATV day. We had mud sunshine and lots of trail, an amazing and incredible view, when we got to a resting point, Jayden took pictures of our crew and then told us what we were looking at. The trails were designed for all levels. Happy to report a great trip. 💯 do again!

Goats on the Roof in Pigeon Forge is a unique and wacky attraction that boasts live goats on its roof, making it a must-visit for animal enthusiasts. Visitors can feed the goats and capture memorable moments as the animals munch on snacks provided by guests. The attraction also offers an opportunity to purchase distinctive souvenirs and indulge in delicious fudge while interacting with the friendly staff. Additionally, visitors can enjoy activities such as gem mining and mini-golf, adding to the overall experience.
So much fun! Got there at 8pm & bought tickets for the coaster for dark so we can ride with the lights. Played a game of golf and enjoy the life like dinosaurs. Watch some goats being fed and saw so many options that you could do like Jim mining and the general store was great! So much seating offered. We rode the coaster and did more golf! Loved the one stop for everything.
Ashley A — Google review
This place was so much fun and totally worth the stop! Everything was reasonably priced, which made it even better for a family outing. The mountain coaster was a blast, smooth, fast, and exciting without being too intense. The staff was so friendly and informative, making sure we were comfortable and knew what to expect. It really added to the positive experience. The dinosaur-themed putt putt was such a hit with the kids! The decorations were fun and creative, and it made for some great photo ops. Our only wish was for a bit more shade around the course, especially on a sunny day, but even so, we all had a great time.
Theresa N — Google review
Fun! They claim it's the cheapest in the area but will still run you about 60$ a family of 4 to ride the ride once. We weren't offered any service about the goats, no feed. No interaction so we spent that money just to do the ride once, and then spent most of the time moseying around the shops. They do take pictures of you on the ride that will cost 10$ a picture if you choose to buy them. They do offer putt putt golf too. Not shaded so wear a hat and sunscreen. A little out of the way but worth a try. Some if the other places seem to offer more to do so choose wisely.
David I — Google review
The cashier was really nice. Very sweet lady. We felt like we had to try a mountain coaster once. It was $15 per person. I get that's what they all charge, if not more, but it was really quick. Long ride to the top, quick ride down. Though you could go really slow on the way down if you wanted to... But you'd make the people behind you mad if they wanted to go fast. I wish they would stop people at the top (like they do with water slides) in case there's someone going slow in front of someone who wanted to go fast. Only one part of the coaster was "jerky". Did it once. Probably wouldn't do it again. Cute place otherwise.
Krista H — Google review
Goats on the Roof is such a unique and fun spot! There’s so much to do—gem mining (stools were a bit high), shopping for gifts, homemade fudge & cookies, plus an awesome alpine coaster at a great price. The goats are the highlight—you can see them on the roof, in a pen, and even send feed up to them with a bike pulley system. There are also funny dinosaur animatronics and a mini golf course. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
Liv B — Google review
We loved the Goat Coaster and feeding the goats! The outside had an array of decor and random stuff to look at. The store had (literal) preaching over the loud speaker which was odd. Overall, good experience!
Jessica W — Google review
Coaster was so much fun, definitely recommend finding one of these to ride. Even it being a hot day it was fun to relax and enjoy the ride! At night they have headlights and there is lights on the track, coming back for that! Mini golf was fun, definitely a tricky course that is harder than seems. Perfect for the mini golf expert! There’s not much shade when golfing, so be prepared for the summer heat and sun. 18 holes of mini golf, or 2 9 hole courses!
Hailey D — Google review
I wish we had more time to spend in here, never realized how big this place was. Next te we go back and I want to have time to actually look around more! However they always have a deal buy one get one hoodies! You want the ultimate experience in hoodies and you have a bigger family and want the merch but trying to budget, go here! We should've all gotten one that day, but just my hubby and son got one. They love their hoodies. My son wears his all the time.

Ripley's Mirror Maze is a quirky museum featuring oddities like shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons. The attraction offers a thrilling experience as visitors navigate through a maze of mirrors and LED lights, encountering surprising corners, dead ends, continuous circles, and rotating mirrors. The Infinity Room provides an opportunity to see infinite reflections in every direction. Whether exploring alone or with a group, the maze challenges perception and direction while providing endless fun for families and kids.
Great way to have fun. I loved this place. They give you gloves so you don’t get the mirrors dirty or scratched. Loved the mirror designs, the lights and music. The path could be a bit short for those of us that enjoy every bit of it and want more, but you can always go back and do it all over again and again like I did. Definitely a great way to have fun for the whole family.

It was short- so I recommend walking around for a bit before you leave. Just to get your $ worth.
Emily G — Google review
Ripley’s Mirror Maze was such a fun and mind-bending experience! The moment we put on those special glasses, everything got ten times more confusing—in the best way possible. The lights and reflections felt like they were coming from all directions, and it was hilarious trying to figure out what was real and what was just another mirror. We kept walking into walls and thinking we found the exit, only to end up back where we started 😂. The whole vibe was playful and energetic, and the staff was super friendly. It’s a short activity, but definitely a unique and memorable one. Great fun for all ages—would totally go again just to see who gets lost first!
Anitsirhc Y — Google review
The staff wasn’t friendly. They literally did not say a word to my husband and I other than, “grab some gloves”. The mirrors and carpet were so dirty, it was very easy to tell your way through the maze because of the dust build up and finger prints. When we left we put our gloves in the trash and left and the 2 employees didn’t even bother to look up at us.
Alina W — Google review
$61 for 4 people..took 5 minutes and was probably a 2/10 in difficulty. Maybe fine for kids under 10. This place would have potential with a larger space or even multiple levels but for the price I paid thats the only visit for us.

Nestled within the town limits of Gatlinburg, Twin Creek RV Resort offers a forested RV campground experience with various amenities such as swimming pools, a pet area, and laundry facilities. The resort's convenient location allows easy access to nearby attractions and the Gatlinburg Trolley stops right at the resort. Additionally, on-site car and jeep rentals are available for added convenience. The well-maintained park provides clean paved roads and pads with reasonably spaced sites.
This is our 4th time staying at this campground, and I can honestly say it never disappoints us. We have stayed in others in the nearby area, but, to us, this resort offers the best camping experience. Nestled in the heart of nature, this campground strikes the perfect balance between nature and modern convenience. The campsites are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully placed to give you privacy while still feeling part of a welcoming community. Nearby trees provide plenty of shade, and the gentle sounds of the nearby stream is so relaxing. We also learned that there is a small road in the back of the park that says “no large vehicles” and to our surprise it takes you through a scenic back road to Gatlingburg. What truly sets this place apart is how clean everything is — the bathrooms and showers were spotless, and the grounds themselves are clearly cared for with love. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready with great local tips. We spent our days exploring scenic trails, swimming in their pool, and gathering around the campfire under a sky. We even experienced a bear one of the evenings we were here. Kids and pets are welcome, which makes this a great spot for families too! If you’re looking for a place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with the great outdoors, this park is an absolute dream. We can’t wait to come again.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Twin Creek RV Park. Bill, our host, and Dennis were personable and attentive. They made us feel like family from day 1. We saw a momma bear with her two cubs almost every day. Don't be afraid! They run if you yell or clap. There is a pool, and I used the laundry facility with good results. The park is clean and quiet at night when street traffic calms down. It's a good location, too. Not to far from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Also, there is a trolly service that stops right in front of the park. I recommend a stay.

We love this RV Resort so much! Just finished up our second stay there and had a wonderful time. The owners are the kindest and sweetest people and the campground host are super nice. We were excited to see the campground host doggy (Dolly) the Aussie again. The sites are shaded, spacious and beautiful. The resort is close to all the area’s attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Cade’s Cove and The Roaring Fork Motor Trail. We look forward to returning!!!

Great location. We stayed for a week in site #24 right on the creek. The hosts Barbara and Dennis were very kind and accommodating. The Nelson's family owned And have owned it for years. The trolley stops right at the front and it's nice to take downtown, so you don't have to pay for parking. The trolley is a free service. The bears often walk through camp. We had electric water and cable. There is a nice scenic route right out the backside of the camp right beside the office. It is a one way very nice to take. If I had to pick a con about this place, it's most definitely the Post Office making all its noise for deliveries at 2 o'clock to 7 o'clock in the morning. You can hear road noise, but in the evening it goes away and you can hear the creak. They are dog friendly camp. They have a nice pool, kiddie pool and Jacuzzi. Just wish the Jacuzzi was a little hotter. The camp is very well kept clean, nice and neat, easy to get In-N-Out of.

Cleanest nicest bathroom at a campground ever... All paved driveways and camp sites. Very shaded and clean. Nice pool. Do have a little road noise but nothing terrible. Some older reviews i saw said mot kid friendly, We spend our days in Gatlinburg and national park so our kids weren't roaming the campground... Several couples with kids here now and no issues... Free trolley was easy planning if you use the trolley tracker app or website. We walked across the street to food city stop (bus is gatlinburg bound) and saved 20 min on The bus and saved $40 in parking for the day.

Love staying at this RV park. Super nice people and easy access to so many things. Very clean and maintained and the laundry is a plus. Just checked out this morning after 9 days. Plan to come back next year. Also…. We saw bears almost everyday!!

Very nice campground! We arrived rather late in the evening and the host met us and got us parked very quickly in the dark. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and mostly quiet, even had a nice fenced in dog area. Convenient location for exploring town and the Smokies.

Discover the chilling secrets of Gatlinburg with the Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg, where for a reasonable fee, adults and older kids can explore alleged haunted sites. The tour offers more than just ghost stories, providing historical insights into the city's influential figures. Visitors can even use ghost hunting tools to try to communicate with spirits. The best time to visit is between September and mid-October for milder weather and fewer crowds.
Kathy! Wow!! What an amazing tour! There is so much history of the town and its people! We walked to great historic sights in town. With the help of EMF detectors, spirit boxes, and music machines, we were able to pick up active readings. If you enjoy history, nature, paranormal or anything of this sort, you will love this activity!

My husband and I had a great time on our tour. Our tour guide Kathy was amazing and so knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. We were even able to see a bear up close during our walk. It was really cool to learn the historical facts and tails of the city.

Kathy was an amazing tour guide for the paranormal and history behind the town. We used real equipment and were able to get some good readings. For anyone who says it wasn’t a paranormal tour they must not have got the same tour we did. Everyone in the group was engaged and some who didn’t seem too interested to begin with ended up being super invested by the end. I recommend this for anyone who likes ghosts or paranormal type things. This is the best tour in Gatlinburg. It is NOT a tourist trap like most things are around Gatlinburg.

Most of the equipment is broken, I am a size Medium in shirts and we were only offered 3x (ordered 4 they only had 3).. took 30 min of us and our guide trying to troubleshoot the equipment before we just decided that we wanted our money back because it was 441$ and the only working equipment offered was a voice radio and 2 emf readers. The tour guide was fantastic and so apologetic and was a total sweetheart. However, unless the "high tech equipment" (a Playstation connect and a 3D printed bottom) is working, 441$ is crazy for a ghost app on my phone and reading up on the lore of haunted spaces in town. I hope whoever runs this stops setting his new employees up for failure and puts the much needed tlc into the equipment.

Pete did an amazing job. Great story teller and great man in all. Took lots of pictures as he encouraged and captured a few creepy photos. Our group Also ran into a baby bear lets just say the stories weren’t the only thing scaring us!

Leon was an amazing guide! We took the extended tour. We knew from the start it would be an amazing and impressionable experience! The church presented several spirits, good and evil, which we caught with the equipment. There was no debunking. The graveyard introduced us to several entities. Young children who danced and played shy at times. The woman who stood in the white dress. At times we felt welcomed but also knew when it was time to move on. The spirits were clear with their expressions. There were a few moments that caught us in such close proximity with an entity we had to exit quickly. Leon made this experience one that will sit in our memories for a lifetime!

Went on the tour October 2023 I had a lot of fun I had went with a friend at the time who was a skeptic of ghosts. After the tour we stayed back and talked to the guide a bit and he showed us some pictures he didn’t show anyone else. Chilling pictures! I’ll never forget that night. Overall walking n talking and ghost hunting was an amazing experience. Will come back again!

39Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden at Gatlinburg

Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden at Gatlinburg is a dog-friendly attraction located near Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. Visitors can stroll through the serene stone gardens and encounter a variety of tropical birds. The highlight of the experience is the opportunity to interact with and pet these beautiful creatures, making for an unforgettable experience. Additionally, guests can take photos with parrots and explore a small gift shop on-site.
I'm a local here and visit here weekly. In response to other reviewers these birds are rescues from abused homes so some do bite because they came from abused homes! Some of them were surrendered aka unwanted and had nowhere else to go so parrot mountain took them in. This is a sanctuary. They aren't abused by the staff. These birds are relearning to trust humans again. I go in frequent enough to see them handled and I handle them too and they are Very loved! As for the cost for the pictures, its going towards a good cause.... care for these birds and the others at the 7 acre sanctuary behind dollywood. Its expensive to care for hundreds of birds. Look at this as a bird charity except you get something in return, interaction and a picture with the birds too rather than them just asking for donations. These birds had a rough life and deserve the best now, so help them out. These people are amazing people taking them in and showing them what love is. Theres only one bird that flies on your head and thats the sun conure cheddar. Hes the sweetest bird and never bites or poops on you. So you never have to fear little cheddar flying over to you. Hes a lover 💓 This is an amazing experience for people of all ages. Come on by yall! You might meet me too 😉

I stumbled upon Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden at Gatlinburg Saturday evening. Never been to the Pigeon Forge location but I pray to god their conditions are better. Paying to visit and/or get a photos with animals is typically at the expense of captive wildlife. You cannot ignore that this business had their door wide open all day despite the winter weather conditions in Gatlinburg (December 2024). Leaving a door open in the direct of the location where the birds are creates a draft, is neglectful. The bird’s wings are clipped with no way to escape they are subjected to the people entering for photographs with them all day long could you imagine how cold and exhausted they especially since they aren’t feeding them an adequate diet. You would expect the door be closed at all times given the bear walk the streets, the busy road out front. These birds are captive raised and originated from the Amazon and Australia; they are not wild birds of pray from cold mountainous regions used to temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Sadly, the two times I was near this place the employees sat right outside the door on a stool with a parrot perched on their shoulder. I let them know how irresponsible and neglectful it was having them outside in December (8pm - 34 degrees with 15mph wind gusts and then again the next day 3pm - 42 degrees with 17mph winds). Mind you they completely disregarded my welfare check and one continued to gaffe me off from across the street. The birds in the enclosures are a different kind of sad; bored lacking stimulating toys, clean water, and an adequate amount healthy fresh food. Each had a small bowl of sunflower seeds which have no nutritional value whatsoever. Visiting places like this keeps them breeding, mistreating and being completely neglectful of their health and well being. Do not visit roadside zoos you are keeping the exploitation trade in business at the expense of captive wild animals. If you see this happening be a whistleblower don’t turn your head they can’t speak up for themselves. *Notice the people on the street in jackets, hats and gloves and the birds completely exposed to winter weather

If I could give this place 0 stars I would do it in a heartbeat. This place is horrible and we had an equally horrible experience. Me and two of my friends (bride-to-be, me and another bridesmaid) were down in Gatlinburg yesterday (9/18/2025) celebrating our friends engagement and birthday and we stumbled on this place while we were out exploring. We thought it looked interesting and went in to check it out, thinking it was a bird cafe like the cafes they have in Japan. Turns out all you do is go in, take a picture with their birds and pay for the prints on your way out (free admission my butt). The staff started handing us birds and handed the bride-to-be a macaw (the biggest and heaviest of the birds) and the other staff member was getting the other birds to fly over… I’m fine with birds landing on my head so it didn’t bother me when one of them flew over and landed on my head, but after they handed my other friend (the bridesmaid) the cockatiel, the male staff member tried placing a smaller bird onto of the brides head, DESPITE HER SCREAMING NO AND STARTING TO PANIC! He then continued forcing the bird to get on her head, which then caused the macaw to start trying to fight with the smaller bird that was on her while she’s now having a panic attack! Then as the other bridesmaid was trying to help the bride and get the birds off her the macaw BIT THE BRIDESMAIDS HAND and the staff did nothing but stand there and laugh! They didn’t bother trying to help any of us despite seeing our bride in full distress and then laughed at her misery, and it was absolutely disgusting! Then after the picture, we were getting ready to leave and we walked past sink-like cages where they had birds that were up for adoption and then a counter where you could purchase the print… as we were walking past the counter one of the other employees told us that we, “did great”…. We just continued walking and didn’t bother stopping to even look at the prints, they treated the bride horribly and then thought we were gonna stop and give them money for an overpriced print of a photo that didn’t have all of us in it is insane! These people and this business are absolutely disgusting, officials need to get down here and shut this place down and confiscate the birds, because if they think it’s okay to treat humans like this I can’t possibly IMAGINE how those poor birds are being treated.

This place sucks. If I could give it a 0 stars I would, Me and friends went tonight, terrible experience to say the least. For starters, the birds are in terrible condition. Dirty water, terrible food for them. Sunflower seeds and a cheap seed mix is not appropriate has very little nutritional value and the birds look tired and exhausted. Probably very overwhelmed and overstimulated. Not only that you can tell they don't like people just by them being " aggressive and them saying that they bite" birds rarely bite without a reason. Second that they will push birds onto you almost forcing you to hold them by throwing a bird at you. Third my friend has just bought a hat from the winery next door only to have the bird damage it by eating the button it and then told " it's not our fault there's a sign " um no you have a blank wall, after that the guy wouldnt reimburse my friend for the hat. Instead tired charging us for a 35$ picture. Um yea no. Needless to say this place is just a tourist scam and abusing it animals for the money. 0/10 Not worth it. If Y'all wanna go see animals that are actually well taken care of, you can feed and hold baby goats. Go to the exotic deer farm and exotic zoo. On the cheaper side great property well taken care of animals and interactive. 15-20min outside of Gatlinburg

I went in here because my grandkids wanted to hold the birds like they did about 6 months earlier. Ugh. They stood in line forever. As I was waiting inside I decided to check my text messages. I got yelled at and told no pictures inside and I wasn't even looking toward where any birds were, just a wall! Then I look here and see that people had taken pictures inside! I could hear them telling people prices and thought, no way. My son had no intention of buying pictures he brought kids in just for the experience of holding a bird. What a horrible life for these birds.

i struggle with English so please have patience... i was sitting at the bench in front of the gatlinburg location and i witnessed a man who was standing in the building yelling at man tell him to put his finger in the birds mouth to let it bite him and seemed very aggressive.. the man then said he didnt hear the man say you cant go near the bird and the worker started telling him to come back and try him etc etc.. i was going to give them my buisness but now i am worried for the birds safety and health if they have such mean people watching them... why tell a random man to put his finger in its mouth and try to bite you. when we were walking back the opposite direction i saw the man again (the customer not the employee) and the same employee was at the door, and i saw the employee yelling at him to stop and come back. all in all, sorry it is long and sorry if my grammar is not correct. but i do not think this is a safe place for the birds or for people to visit. thank you.

**DO NOT LET THIS PLACE DETUR YOU FROM GOING TO EXPERIENCE THE MAIN LOCATION IN PIGEON FORGE!!!**** STAFF WAS RUDE, HAD AN ATTITUDE, &TOLD ME I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE JUST TO HOLD BIRDS! This morning the bird handler was on his phone & looked bothered when I approached to ask to hold them. They were not attentive to the parrots, & had zero interest in any of the people inquiring. They looked like they hated their lives & did not have a welcoming environment. Parrots didn’t like them either & I can’t blame them. Although discouraged at this experience, we chose to go to the Pigeon Forge location where the actual sanctuary is & we had the best experience!!! I hope the love & light from there soon flows down to the Gatlinburg location.

The Parrot in the window is far Too stressed. Between the ridiculously loud music and people scareing him this is animal abuse. Turn down the music and give him some space to escape. He was jumping from fright and almost falling off the tree perch in the window. I tried to calm him down by talking calmly among the blasting music. Very upsetting to see. Change this

Cades Cove, located in the western valley of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is a historical and cultural preserve featuring well-maintained cabins, farmhouses, and churches dating back to the early 19th century. The area was first settled by Europeans in 1819 and today offers visitors an 11-mile one-way road with 19 numbered tour stops to explore. While wildlife sightings may vary, it's common to spot turkeys and deer along the route.
Cades cove was an all day thing for us!! We stopped and got out a lot. We plan to do it many more times. Next time we will pack a cooler with lunch and snacks

We were so excited to go on the loop. It was a cloud raining morning but it stopped raining by time we arrived. Didn’t see much wildlife but turkey and a few deer. Be prepared to driver very slow. A group of cars pulled over to see a bear but we couldn’t see anything. There are volunteers driving in the slow moving traffic too, sadly the best view of a deer we had was short lived cause the volunteer came out of her car and started directing traffic to keep moving. I got a pic but disappointed it was a quick view. All in all C+ rating. Beautiful views and park, glad we saw it.

Gatlin’s Rugged Ropes Adventure Course is an absolute gem for families visiting Gatlinburg! With an affordable add-on price, this course offers a fantastic experience for kids and adults alike. My 7-year-old had a blast navigating through the 37 unique obstacles, spending around 45 minutes exploring at his own pace. Unlike other courses with rigid paths, here children can freely roam and tackle challenges as they please.
We had an attraction pass for Gatlin's and the add on for this Ropes Course was only $6! Doesn't get better than that in Gatlinburg. My 7 year old son was up there for 45 minutes or so mastering all of the 37 obstacles. In the past we've done courses that have a single track and pre-defined "turns" at every intersection, but here kids have free reign to explore. It was awesome.
