Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a vast marine facility in Gatlinburg, open 365 days a year. It houses over 10,000 marine creatures, including sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and penguins. The aquarium features interactive exhibits like the Discovery Center for hands-on experiences with animals. Visitors can also learn about the aquarium's Systems Control area that manages millions of gallons of saltwater. Additionally, it offers a glass-bottom boat ride experience.
My family and I took my son here so he could have some fun on our trip and he sure did here. He loved the selection of sea/ocean animals and the interactive games they had throughout the facility. We order tickets beforehand on TripAdvisor (we got them in a bundle) which saved us a good bit of money.
Savanna B — Google review
We have been to several major aquariums, and I have to admit that I was very tempted at first to rate this one as a 3 or lower, because it didn’t in anyway compare. It seemed to be only composed of small aquariums on the walls as we walked through. The contents of those aquariums were interesting and the video descriptions next to them were well done. However, when we were able to view the aquarium;s very large central tank with free swimming sharks, saw fish, rays, and other beautiful and interesting fish, I was impressed. On the lower level of the aquarium you can walk through a long glass tunnel under that that tank and get up close and personal with the very large sea life swimming over you. There were a few also some aquarium exhibits with sea life I had never seen before including one with what has to be some of the largest crabs on earth. These dwarfed king crabs with which we are all familiar. Young children seem to especially enjoy the aquarium. There is also a kids play area with a large multi level climbing and slide contraption that they especially seemed to enjoy. I guess that the $40 per adult was not overly expensive after all.
Rick G — Google review
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is an amazing spot for both kids and adults! It’s much bigger than you’d expect, with tons of exhibits to explore. One of the highlights is the moving conveyor tunnel, you’re surrounded by sharks, rays, and all kinds of sea life as you glide through. There are interactive displays, fun photo ops, and even a penguin walk parade that’s a must-see! The penguins are adorable and it’s a unique experience you won’t find at most aquariums. A great place to bring the family, unwind, and learn something new. Definitely worth the trip!
Sam — Google review
The glass bottom boat ride is a must! We had a good time, but for the price of admission we did expect some more sea animals. The shark lagoon area was our favorite; we went through a few times seeing something new each time. The parking garage behind the aquarium is the most accessible area for parking.
L C — Google review
The Ripleys aquarium is always nice to visit. It has a nice selection of species and feels unique with its design. My only 'gripe' is that I feel like nearly $50 for an adult ticket is a bit much for the size of the aquarium. The TN aquarium is much larger and it's only about $35. I still enjoy visiting, regardless though!
Renee R — Google review
Very good small(ish) aquarium. Definitely a must see for the kids and sea life enthusiasts on your trip! Fair warning, they are a bit pricey, but it's not horrible. They have a daily parade of penguins at 1:15pm as well. HIGHLY suggest though that you go early right when they open to avoid the crowds!
Alex H — Google review
Great experience for all ages in our group. Some crazy looking fish here, variety of sharks, turtles, some penguins, and many other sea creatures. Place was clean and had an amazing play area for kids and super cute fall decor when we were there.
Amanda B — Google review
From start to finish, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies delivered an amazing experience that had something for everyone. The underwater tunnel was a true highlight — there’s something magical about having sharks, rays, and sea turtles glide effortlessly above you while you walk through. Our kids were completely captivated by the mermaid show, which blended entertainment with an educational touch in a way that kept their attention from start to finish. Another standout was the penguin march — an adorable and unique moment you don’t want to miss. Watching them waddle by up close brought out the “wow” in kids and adults alike. The layout of the aquarium makes it easy to explore at your own pace, with plenty of interactive areas that keep little ones engaged while still being fascinating for grown-ups. Overall, this was a fantastic experience for our whole family. It’s the perfect blend of fun, education, and memorable moments — a must-visit if you’re in the Smokies.

Anakeesta is a popular outdoor adventure destination that offers various exciting activities such as zip lining, gondola rides, and a treetop play area. It stands out among other nearby mountain attractions with its polished and flashy features. Visitors can choose between an enclosed gondola or a chairlift to reach the ridgetop village, which boasts hanging bridges, mountain coasters, dueling zip lines, and an observation tower at the summit.
Great activity for families! We got discounted tickets which helped make the decision to go! Beautiful scenes and so many places to take pictures! Great places for children to play: rope bridges and slides! We got tacos and nachos and they were super yummy! We did the light activity at night. It was pretty, I wouldn’t do it with young kids again since it’s a lot of walking and it’s a gravel path so a stroller wasn’t recommended.
Amber R — Google review
Absolutely loved it here. It was a nice peaceful ride up to the mountaintop. And once you get up there the views are just absolutely incredible. Then you start walking up to the tower. Just go off the tower The view is getting better. So much to do here especially if you have kids. Unfortunately if you're a tall guy big guy you can't go through some of the activities which is on the standable such as life. But definitely a lot of fun this place. Especially during the fall time.. I would suggest go early though especially during the week. It can get pretty crowded really quickly. Especially if you park in the parking lot where they are. It gets crowded really quick.
Trucker684955 — Google review
I would love to give this a 5 star review just because of the stunning views from the "summit", however the 70 minute wait to get on the bus to get there was a major bummer (had pre-purchased tix online) I suppose I didn't research this, or Gatlinburg enough to realize it's a major tourist trap on par with the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. Too many tourists, too many cars for one road, thank goodness there was plenty of parking. If you are willing to wait a long time to get to where you want to go, this is the place for you. I, however will not be coming back, although I'm glad I got to see it once.
Ulrika W — Google review
I am in love with this place!!! So glad we went! You have the option of a ski lift, gondola or bus ride up. The ski lift had great views. Food and drinks were great. We added in Astra Lumina which was amazing! You have to do that! We walked the tree top rope bridges which was very fun too!
Renee A — Google review
Anakeesta is absolutely beautiful — from the moment you arrive, the mountain views take your breath away. There’s plenty to do for all ages, whether you want to stroll through the gardens, ride the mountain coaster, shop, eat, or just take in the scenery from one of the overlooks. Everything feels so thoughtfully designed and well-kept, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet full of energy. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and peaceful mountain charm. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Gatlinburg — you can easily spend the whole day there and still not see it all!
Rachel R — Google review
Beautiful, fun and worth a visit. Great food, amazing entertainment, and well worth the cost to see the views, walk the tree trail, sit around the fire, and enjoy yourself. A little busy so get your tickets online. The line was pretty long and the only sad part was being able to see how much Gatlinburg has taken from its natural beauty and filled the once gorgeous Mountain View’s with condos, hotels and houses, taking away the screen views and feelings many have enjoyed for so long. But Anakeesta was absolutely stunning and fun. It’s great for all ages.
Christina R — Google review
We loved it! By your tickets in advance! Better prepared to wait to get up to the park. The views are breathtaking. Staff very friendly and accommodating! I loved riding the Hellbender and ziplining. I recommend the pass, you'll want to ride the Hellbender twice! Food was better than I expected it to be! Astria Lumina is a must! It was peaceful and calming! The music was soothing and could invoke all your emotions!
Bridget L — Google review
I'm gonna make this short as possible. If you buy the zipline tickets, you don't need general admission. Of course they don't tell you that, so we wasted $80 on general admission that we didn't need. Side note, we don't have kids and I'm sure it would be a different experience if you have kids. But literally other than walking around and seeing some amazing views (we found way better views in other areas outside of Gatlinburg), everything is SO expensive. $16 for a shake, $12 for a walking taco, you get the point. You buy a ticket to go up and everything up there costs so much. The zipline and mountain coasters were the best thing about going up there, but that's about it. But I'd recommend just going to a place that is known for doing the zipline and coasters instead. The sky bridge is so packed with people that it'll take twice as long to get across because you're just waiting most of the time. Glad we tried it, but not our thing. We'd rather spend time hiking or doing crafts.

Ascend to the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle, a 407-ft. observation tower that has been an iconic part of the city since 1969. The two glass elevators provide a stunning 360-degree view as you ride up to the outdoor viewing deck, where you can take in panoramic vistas of Gatlinburg and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. In addition to its breathtaking views, visitors can also enjoy a theater and an arcade at the top.
Fun trip to the top of this 400 plus foot tower. Amazing views of the surrounding town and mountains. Elevator can be slow and holds a limited amount of guests but the wait time is not too long. Well maintained and safe and provides an affordable view compared to other attractions in the area.
Lucas K — Google review
This was a cool attraction, and less expensive than some of the other attractions in the area. Loved the view from the top. My one grievance is that they wouldn’t let me go up by myself due to their safety precautions, you have to bring friend. Luckily, I convinced my siblings to come with me. So this is only good as a group activity, if you’re solo, you’re out of luck.
Emily D — Google review
The Gatlinburg Space Needle offers a refreshing aerial view of the Smokies and downtown, especially during clear weather. The elevator ride is smooth, and the observation deck gives a quiet moment to take in the landscape without the usual street-level bustle. While the arcade and base attractions feel a bit dated, the view itself makes the visit worthwhile. Staff were courteous, and the overall experience felt safe and well-managed. It’s a solid stop for visitors who want a visual reset before diving back into the crowds. The ticket pricing is reasonable, and the option to buy in advance online helps streamline the visit—especially during weekends or peak travel seasons. The observation deck offers informational panels that highlight key landmarks in the distance, adding a subtle educational layer to the experience. Whether you're snapping photos, taking a quiet moment to reflect, or simply enjoying the breeze above the town, the Space Needle delivers a calm and scenic break from Gatlinburg’s busy streets.
Jonathan P — Google review
This could be great but it is so ran down. The paint had so many layers. The stairs that you look at have so many cobb webs. Would be great for signs about height as you get higher and higher. Maybe an audio explaining different things rather than the same beat in the sound system. The only plaques were peeling apart. Those green lights at night make for terrible pictures. Maybe consider a vending machine or something once at the top again potential. The price doesn't reflect.
Ashley M — Google review
Great experience! We were able to go during the daytime and at night, which both gave us fantastic views! You can go twice with each ticket and I recommend checking Groupon for deals. It's an elevator with ride up with a view and you can stay on the 360° platform as long as you want. There's a couple benches to sit and a 'Stamp a Penny' machine for 51c.
Ashley R — Google review
Totally worth the $15 each! We hung out up there for a while, just chatting and soaking in the views. Gorgeous scenery, epic photo ops — couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Stay wild! @bucketlistbabekc
Chelsi H — Google review
Worth the trip up. Take photos in elevator at night because green colored lights make for horrible photos up top. Great views of Gatlinburg.
BL W — Google review
So we got to go up twice, once in the morning and once at night. Night time is amazing, but you can feel it swaying back and forth. Not going to lie I'm scared of heights so when I could literally see it moving back and forth it had me freaked out but over all me and my girlfriend had an amazing time up there

Ober Mountain is a popular mountainside amusement park in Gatlinburg, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. In winter, the ski area is bustling with snow tubing and skiing, attracting many locals and tourists. The summer brings artificial snow slides for year-round tubing excitement. Additionally, the park features attractions like the Alpine Slide, Ski Mountain Coaster, ice skating, and family-friendly areas. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, Gatlins Escape Games provide an exhilarating challenge.
My family and I had a great time! There was a lot that we didn't do since our kids are older but we still really enjoyed it! The tram was a little stuffy but still pretty neat, but the chair lift was awesome! The views were incredible! We enjoyed the ice rink and loved the wildlife area. We were able to watch the sea otters being fed, and the staff there was very friendly. You could tell how much she loves taking care of the animals. The staff at the front counter was also great. And I really want to give attention to the woman who helped us at the Leather Shop, I believe her name was Octavia. She was so much fun and a really neat person. She made something as simple as buying a jacket and hat into a very memorable experience!

This place is a must! You really get to spend a full day here for a great price! Staff is very friendly! Took the kids here on the last trip and they loved it! This time was a girls trip and we had the best time ever! Felt like kids again! Zip lining was the highlight of this visit. Our guides Shane and Robby were absolutely amazing l! They made us feel safe and were super funny! The views from the lines were absolutely phenomenal! You must put this in your list of things to do and experience everything they have to offer! We did the mountain coaster, bumper cars, tubing, zip lining, alpine slide, and visited the animal center.

It's fun, Octoberfest during the week for our daughter wasn't that busy. We enjoyed lots of the activities and spent most of the day there. Lots of the activities and equipment is for sure dated and needs some updating or improvements. Most of the employees were nice and assistive. The tram you need to get there at 9:40 to enjoy the views without it being crowded. We spent most of the day there and left about 4:30. Money spent was worth what we did as a total I believe. Ski lift to the observation deck was a nice and restful time.
Rob — Google review
Our family visited and turned our fun pass into a full day of adventure and fun. We parked on site and enjoyed the things for kids. We came for ice skating. We did that and so much more. Plus the tram ride to downtown was nice and we spent time in downtown before returning to ober. Less crowds due to weekday definitely made this more enjoyable. Be sure to visit the animal area. Our kids loved the others and seeing the bears.
Clint N — Google review
One of the must experience in Gatlinburg ! Breathtaking view from mountain chair is the best. The tram is also nice. The food is okay. Coaster ride was fun and kids liked it. We could not do zip line but next time we will surely do that first thing ! Overall, best day spent ! We were there for close to 6 hours and felt it’s not enough lol !
Amol G — Google review
The Zoo is after you ride the Tram up to the next level it's on the left. LISA at the Otter area is so helpful and friendly. Keep up the great work. You can see you love your job. There is so much to do here at Ober Mountain (Go Early and Stay all day). With the FUN PASS that is very cheap, you can ride the Tram(all day long), the Chair Lift(to the observation deck (a view that is breathless), Ice Skate, Ice Bumper Cars, lots of other things as well. See Stacy at the information area when you come in (on right) if you have any questions, she is so HELPFUL and full of KNOWLEDGE of this mountain. She has a great personality too. Keep up you love for Ober Mountain. Our first time there, not sure if we will be back to Tennessee again, but I will spread the word. I can really say that the Mountains come alive when you are up there. Keep up the great work all.
JoAnn L — Google review
This is a festival atmosphere during Oktoberfest. I loved all the activities for children in front of the resort! Next time I plan to go ice skating! I wish we would have know there is access by car because we were traveling with a disabled vet. The team ride is cool but this is not why you go to the top!
Leslie T — Google review
Currently they are having a summer sale and it is awesome! Two consecutive days to do activities (including the tram ride). We went there and loved the scenic views, the rock climbing, spider jump and the ice activities inside (bumper cars and skating). Their wild life enclosures were also awesome. We came around 5pm both days, be aware they do start closing things down by 7 (at least both days we went). And the last tram is at 9pm, it comes every 20 minutes starting at the top of the hour.

Nestled in the forest terrain, Moonshine Mountain Coaster offers an exhilarating experience with individual cars equipped with brakes and the option for a night ride. Located conveniently on the Parkway, it's just a short distance from downtown Gatlinburg. Formerly known as the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, this attraction was renamed in 2021 after being purchased. The coaster provides rain shields to keep riders dry even during rainy weather.
I was a bit nervous about riding. The manager was walking by and noticed my fear. He was amazing talking to me. He explained the ride and all its features. He even told the guy who loaded me to leave more room behind me cause I will prolly go slow. I was hooked after the 1st ride. I rode 2 more times. Its max speed went 29mph. You control it. You can stop it. Would definitely recommend. At night they have colorful lights to ride through.
Christy G — Google review
Did this coaster at night and it was very fun. I was able to get tickets on Groupon for just under $13, which helped. The overall ride is about 3 minutes up and 2 minutes down if you're going full throttle. The coasters and track look to be very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Ryan S — Google review
There was a pretty long wait when I went, around 1.5 hours but the ride came very close to being worth it. It’s a short ride, about 5 minutes total, with around 3 minutes of automatic movement. The best part is the last two minutes when you get to control the coaster yourself, reaching speeds up to 30 mph. Kids would absolutely love it! I wouldn’t recommend going on weekends unless you’re prepared to wait. Overall, it was a really good experience, and the staff were super friendly and doing their best, so the wait isn’t really on them. Would recommend buying the tickets on groupon for around 13 dollars, else you can buy them at the location for 18.

Thrilling Experience at Moonshine Mountain Coaster! I had an amazing time at Moonshine Mountain Coaster — it was my first time trying this kind of self-controlled ride, and it was such a blast! The coaster takes you on a relaxing ride up the mountain first, and once you reach the top, the real fun begins. You control your own speed using two levers — push forward to go full speed or pull back to slow down — which makes the whole experience even more exciting and personalized. During the daytime, the views from the track were beautiful, the natural scenery. I heard the Halloween decorations were incredible at night, so I came back again later — and it was totally worth it! The track was glowing with colorful lights all along the way, creating a whole different vibe. It was a bit chilly, so definitely don’t forget your jacket if you go in the evening. I almost hit the maximum speed of around 30 mph, and it was pure adrenaline the entire way down. The ride is smooth, safe, and gives you just the right mix of thrill and control. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience — whether you go during the day for the views or at night for the lights, Moonshine Mountain Coaster is a must-try attraction in Gatlinburg! I can’t wait to go again soon.
NagaSai C — Google review
we arrived 15 minutes before they closed and they still allowed us to ride even though it would be a few minute after close before the ride would be over, I’m glad they did though because the ride was really fun and well decorated for Halloween! All of the staff were really kind and had great service. The older gentleman with the beard really stood out to me the most he wasn’t just kind to his customers but was really kind when interacting with employees, he was in charge of training two young men who will do really well under his care.
Serena V — Google review
My mom and I had a mother daughter trip to Gatlinburg. This was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The trees are changing here so the coaster offered up close views of the beautiful scenery. It last a little over 3 minutes it was an excellent experience. It was a fun ride! Staff extremely friendly as well. ❤️
Nicole N — Google review
No need to buy tickets in advance. Even after doing so you have to wait in the very slow moving line. The ride was fun yet they really need to improve the boarding process. Like wasn't even that long and it took nearly 45 minutes to board. The ride itself is around 3 minutes long.
Kevin P — Google review
Wanted to leave a review to answer a review about the wait times I read before visiting. It may take a little bit to board, but this is to ensure the safety and best experience for each guest. My son and I were a little apprehensive about riding a mountain coaster and let the staff know we may go slower than most. They understood and ensured that the next person wouldn't start until we were securely in front of the person coming behind us. This not only made us not feel rushed but ensured the person behind us could go as fast as they wanted. The staff was amazing, kind, and encouraging. My husband enjoyed the speed, and after my son's first ride, he was ready to go again! Staff let us purchase a re-ride ticket for them at a discount, which was greatly appreciated. If you have one coaster to ride, I highly recommend coming here!

Wild Bear Falls Water Park is a top-notch family-friendly water park located at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park in Gatlinburg. This 60,000 square foot indoor/outdoor aquatic park features a mountain theme and boasts heated pools, a lazy river, and a casual grill.
It was such a great place to take my toddlers where I didn't have to really worry about them not being right next to me. They loved the lazy river also. They were still too small for the tubes, so I just put their life jackets on, and they floated on. They didn't want to leave!
Lara C — Google review
Had a very fun time at the indoor waterpark with my 3 year old. My three year old had a blast. It’s a smaller indoor waterpark but still fun. It’s geared more for younger kids. Wasn’t over crowded also. Price is reasonable for a day pass and didn’t have to pay to park. Would go back again.
Heather — Google review
Had a blast not to crowded has multiple bottoms and places to eat they have two slides one with tubes and one without has a baby area toddler area big kid area and river. The staff is super friendly also
Vietlao — Google review
It was great except there really aren't enough lounges chairs out and also the double inner tubes USE to NOT be allowed in the lazy river. In the beginning, the double inner tubes were strictly for the slide. It needs to go back to that.
Sherrieglo — Google review
Kids loved the water park. The adults had a great time floating the lazy river and going down the slides
Greg C — Google review
We had fun at this water park. My 6 year old loved it and didn't want to leave after almost five hours. The lazy river was our favorite thing.
Heather T — Google review
A small but decent indoor waterpark at The Westgate Gatlinburg Resort. There are only two moderately thrilled water slides but only one was opened on the day we went. The stairs to go up the watersides were extremely uncomfortable. They have a lazy river and an outdoor hot tub and pool which was nice. The indoor pool/basketball area is a good size but the flooring is very rocky and all my kids had blisters or cuts from walking on it. Overall, it wasn’t crowded when we went in August (might be more crowded during the winter season) but they need some updates and repairs.

This is a great place for young children. My 6 and 7 year old grandbabies loved it. I would definitely go back.

Had a great time here. About 50 cars to look at. Something for all age groups and genre of fans. They have tons of fast and furious, several marvel themed vehicles, older things like James Dean, the Munsters, Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith and so on. Good museum to check out.

Just a cool attraction. You have the chance to get up close to some of the most memorable vehicles from cinema. Great for kids and adults

There are a lot of cars from the Fast and the Furious. We really enjoyed the videos from George Barris as he explained how he came up with some of the ideas for cars that he had. There are cars from Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. There was also the Ghost Busters car!

If you’re into cars or tv/movies, this is a great museum to visit. With a variety of cars from many different time periods, it was a fun stop to see in Gatlinburg. There were (I believe) over 60 cars…and they are the originals, not replicas. Really cool!

We were really impressed with the Car Museum. The kids couldn't believe how many cars were here. There is a second level. There were 4 of us so the tickets were a bit pricey for all of us.

Nice collection of movie and celebrity cars. Iconic cars like the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, one of the General Lees, and the Batmobile. Also quite a few of the Fast and the Furious vehicles. A little pricey for what it is but still worth the visit if you’re a car enthusiast.

Miniature golf course
Hillbilly Golf is a unique and iconic miniature golf destination in Gatlinburg, offering two Appalachian-themed 18-hole courses situated on the side of a mountain. Visitors begin their adventure with an incline trolley ride 300 feet up to the top, where they can choose from the two courses. As players make their way down the mountainside, they encounter amusing obstacles such as moonshine stills, outhouses, covered wagons, and other elements reflecting mountain folk life.
Excellent experience! I recommend going early in the day! This is truly a unique and fun mini golf experience! I’ve never seen one on a mountainside! Riding up the tram was great fun! The holes were fun, with very entertaining decorations and some challenging obstacles and inclines. I went in side A with my family. I certainly recommend giving this place a go! You’ll have a lot of fun!
Jonmarkheaner — Google review
I really enjoyed my trip to hillbilly golf. We got there early so there was no wait and we got parking. The pricing is pretty fair for the experience you get. The rid up on the loft is really fun, they have it nicely decorated and you get to see a bit of the mountain. All the holes have really cute decorations. They are all fun and interactive. Overall I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you want to scenic mini golf.
Abby S — Google review
We loved this! You ride an incline to the top to golf down the mountain. What a fun experience and friendly staff! Unfortunately, we didn't see a bear but it's apparently a common occurrence to see them there. Sending you beary good vibes to see them! ✨️
Jessica W — Google review
Hillbilly Golf was an absolute blast for the whole family! The ride up the hill alone was worth the visit—such a unique and fun way to start a round of mini golf. Once we got to the top, the views were incredible. The mountain scenery gave everything a peaceful, scenic vibe that made the whole experience feel special. The course itself was well thought out, with creative obstacles and fun hillbilly-themed touches that kept us all smiling. My wife and kids had a great time, and we were all impressed with how well-maintained everything was. If you’re looking for something fun, family-friendly, and totally unique in Gatlinburg, Hillbilly Golf is a must-do. We’d definitely go back again!
John L — Google review
Taking a inclined railcar up to the top of the mini golf course to play the holes going down the side of the hill was different and fun. Was a little on the pricey side for two seniors was $27.95, but we enjoyed it. If you keep your score card (which they date stamp) and come back to play the 2nd course within 3 days, you can play for just $6.50/person.
Diane P — Google review
A great evening activity to do with the family. Its a fun course with a historical feel. The props were fun to identify! You take a ride up the mountain and play your way down. A cheap fun night.
Jessica S — Google review
We had the absolutely best time ever here! We did have to wait a bit to get into the place however it was well worth the wait. Some of the most fun we had our whole trip.
Savanna B — Google review
It is one of the best mini golf attractions in Gatlinburg. You ride an incline to the top to play the courses. You can play one of two courses. The layout of the courses is really good and somewhat challenging. 90% or more are in the shade of the trees. We had a great time. Cold bottled water they sell is only a dollar. It was a good experience. Prices are good.

The Odditorium offers interactive exhibits, while the Gatlinburg location also features a mirror labyrinth, a 3D theater with moving seats, miniature golf courses, and a haunted house with live actors.
One of the biggest I've been to. They have many many different things that other ones do not. This is a nice size location and it's located on the strip so everything is right there. We went a bit later in the day and no one was there. We were able to fully explore without feeling rushed. Very clean. Lots of cool things to interact with.

Super fun (as always)! We’ve hit up 4–5 Ripley’s locations now, and every single one brings the weird in the BEST way. Different exhibits at each stop—so it’s always a surprise (and a photo op)! Shrunken heads? Check. Rope bridge? Check. A place where both kids and adults can lose track of time? Double check. Even better—my mom’s wheelchair was easy to push through the entire thing, which made the experience even smoother for all of us. We came, we saw, we got weird. Ripley’s did NOT disappoint. Thanks for the wild ride, @ripleysbelieveitornot. Stay strange! @bucketlistbabekc

This is definitely a tourist trap not worth your money or time. Lackluster exhibits and displays. I did enjoy a couple of things such as the taxidermy animals born with abnormalities and the recreation of the Hogwarts castle done with toothpicks. Everything else was mostly “meh” and was nothing beyond belief. For as much as the entrance fee is, it could definitely be a better, more worthwhile experience.
Chelsie S — Google review
Nothing like most of the ones I've been to! It was def a fun time but very small not sure if I like how they broke them all up but I get the point $ it did make our ending of the trip a good time! But it is a little small which the price kinda shows that! I do like that they give military discount!

Ripley's Davy Crockett Mini-Golf in Gatlinburg, Tennessee offers two 18-hole mini-golf courses themed after the "old days" of Davy Crockett. Set against the backdrop of The Great Smoky Mountains, this fun-filled attraction celebrates the Tennessee hero with animated animals and rustic wooden buildings. Open year-round, visitors can enjoy a game from morning until late evening.
We loved this place! Friendly staff, clean course, and very interesting hole obstacles! Our kids love ld all the animatronic animals and unique displays. Really nice experience all around!

This is a nice place. There is Hella different mini golf places around but this one came as a deal when we made a different purchase. Nothing too fancy about it. Pretty basic to say the least. Also its on the hill of a hotel. Weird flex. But overall it was decent. Wouldn't go here again.
Autumn — Google review
This mini-golf spot blends frontier-themed charm with solid course design. With two 18-hole courses to choose from, there’s plenty of variety, and the animatronic characters and rustic decor add personality to each hole. The layout is creative, with water features, hills, and obstacles that challenge both kids and adults. It’s a fun way to spend an hour or two, especially if you’re looking for something outdoors but low-key. Some areas could use a bit of maintenance—faded paint and dry water features—but the overall experience holds up well. Staff are helpful, and combo tickets with other Ripley’s attractions make it easy to bundle your day. It’s a great pick for families, casual players, or anyone wanting a break from the busier parts of Gatlinburg without sacrificing entertainment.
Jonathan P — Google review
There are two different courses. This was one of my favorites that I have ever done. There was so much animation around the holes which made it very entertaining. I will definitely be back to play both of these courses, especially because we got a hole in one on the 18th hole which got us one free game!
Heather — Google review
It was ok. The staff is nice and friendly. The course we took was the fort one. It was ok. It had some neat holes. We had this along with the Ripley's aquarium. It is a hike up from the aquarium If you are nearby, enjoy.
Rob W — Google review
This has become a sentimental must-do for my husband and I every time we visit Gatlinburg. The grounds are beautiful, the characters are cute, the courses are well-maintained, and the staff are really nice and helpful. Pricing is reasonable, and you can upgrade to get 2 rounds for just a couple of additional dollars and get a year to play the second round.
Judy C — Google review
Great mini-golf course that is nice mix of challenge and fun. The interactive features of the course add a nice touch. You can play both courses for two dollar more than a single game. Don't forget to scan the QR code at the entrance to the course for your scorecard.

We were visiting from out of state. The staff were pleasant. Pay to park of course. The mini golf course was fun; it was six of us. I had a hole in one! It was a pretty long game but it was fun. It's approximately 1/2 a mile from Ripleys Aquarium.

Candy store
When visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, don't miss out on a visit to the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. Established in 1950, this iconic candy kitchen has been churning out homemade taffy using century-old machines and an original recipe. With a variety of tempting flavors, including their famous Taffy Logs, it's a sweet tooth's paradise.
A trip to Gatlinburg wouldn't be the same without a visit to Ole Smokey Candy. We love watching the Taffy making. My wife loves the caramel apples. The peanut brittle is awesome. I love all things chocolate. The Grands always get whatever they want. We'll definitely be back.
D-Ray — Google review
The taffy is the best you will ever experience! If they are sampling as they make it, don’t pass up the opportunity to grab some. Then ask them to package what they just made for you to take home. It will not get any fresher than that!
M F — Google review
My husband can’t resist buying taffy when it’s made in house. Lots of other sweet treats. All quite yummy!
EA S — Google review
Well, went back 2/12/25. Specifically asked the woman 3 times if centers in pecan logs were white and cherry nougat. She assured me 3 times they were. Told her what happened last year with caramel centers. Once again...white centers. She flat out lied! Caramel again. And old! Figured marshmallows would be hard as rocks in rocky road but could live with that. $48 and change shot up a wild hogs.....well, you know! Lol! (2/12/24) We grew up in Knoxville and had a cabin in Gatlinburg when kids and spent lots of time in Gatlinburg. Ole Smoky was our favorite place. Visit now for a week every year. We were there all week last week. Couldn't wait to get rocky road candy and pecan logs with white centers and cherries. Bought 2 pecan logs and a couple of boxes of rocky road candy. Disappointed with both. Could barely even cut pecan logs. Caramel on outside too hard, with CARAMEL centers, and marshmallows in rocky road like eating rocks. Bought our last candy there. Time to find a new place next trip. Taffy machine was down too. This definitely is the last time. Guess they know you're traveling and they don't care what they sell you.
Charles P — Google review
During a business trip to Gatlinburg in May, I made a stop at the original Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen on Parkway, right next to the church—and it was a standout experience. This location carries a timeless charm, with candy makers working in full view and the scent of fresh fudge and taffy pulling you in from the sidewalk. The craftsmanship here is unmistakable. From hand-dipped caramel apples to classic pecan divinity, everything feels rooted in tradition but presented with care. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the store layout made it easy to browse quickly between meetings. Whether you're picking up a gift box for colleagues or just indulging in a personal treat, this spot delivers both quality and nostalgia. A perfect blend of Southern hospitality and old-fashioned candy-making—well worth the visit.
Gus S — Google review
Somewhat of an institution. This place has been around seemingly forever. Throwback with the old school taffy machine cranking out pieces. Large variety of sweet treats. Heavy focus on taffy and fudge. Plenty of other items to consider - notable variety of chocolates. Friendly people and reasonable prices for what it is. The stuff isn't overloaded with preservatives. In the summer, would make this the last stop of the day before getting in your car unless you want a melted bunch of goodness. It's been there forever for reasons - great products and nostalgic charm.
Rob K — Google review
We visited The Smokies on our vacation this year and stopped in to Gatlinburg for a spell. Girlfriend remembered a place where you could watch the taffy being pulled and we ran into this place. We bought some fudge and some taffy logs but I could've spent my life's fortune in there. They had everything I could want for sweets under one roof. The fudge was amazing and the taffy logs just as good. Probably my new fav flavor is sassafras, at least for taffy anyways. Wish they sold online still. Would love to order some now that we are home.
Keith J — Google review
The vibes were adorable and the candy was delicious! We watched taffy being pulled hot and the smell was perfect. I ordered a small amount of something and accidentally received a different thing, but when I went back to reorder the cashier was super nice and wouldn't let me pay; I told him that we would gladly eat both candies, but he insisted! I only got five of these on both dark and milk chocolate, but when I got outside to eat, I saw that he had filled the box to the top. It must have been half a pound! It was very nice of him, best candy spot in all of Tennessee!!

Gatlin's Escape Room Games offers a family-friendly mystery-solving experience in downtown Gatlinburg and on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. The well-crafted rooms and challenging puzzles set it apart from other escape room venues. Families can enjoy themed rooms like the haunted Hyde House or the Moonshine Hill Hootenanny, providing an engaging experience for all ages. It's a collaborative and fun challenge that encourages teamwork as you work against the clock to conquer surprises and escape.
Every family vacation for the past 4 years, we have gone to an escape room. We have been to at least a dozen different facilities in Tennessee. Gatlinburg Escape Room Games is the absolute best experience we have EVER had. They did absolutely EVERYTHING right. Booking, rule explanations, story set up, puzzles, story line, sets, and grande finale were ALL perfect. We went to Haunting of Hyde Manor day 1. And we loved it so much we came back the next day for the Boogeyman. We are planning another trip to Gatlinburg just to do more escape rooms here. They didn't have a thousand locks and keys to keep up with. The game master was assigned to just us. There were junk scares and we fell in love with the ghosts in both houses. You will not be disappointed. They only thing I was sad about is their lack of merchandise. I would have bought a coffee mug for me and shirts for the rest of the family just to bring a piece of this magic home.
Samantha M — Google review
10/10 – Best Escape Room Experience! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The room was challenging, clever, and insanely fun. Every puzzle had us thinking hard but never frustrated—and the flow was just perfect. The attention to detail in the design was next level, and the staff? So friendly and clearly love what they do. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned escaper, this place gets it right. We’ll definitely be back to try the next one!
Krystina S — Google review
We did two escape rooms, the first was The Haunting of Hyde House and it was awesome. Five stars for that room. Our game master was excellent. We told her we had done over 300 rooms and that we didn't want hints or nudges unless we asked. She obliged and did awesome. The game play was excellent. The second was The Hootenanny. The game master for this room ruined the whole room for me. This was the one room I was looking forward to. He kept interrupting our game play to nudge us before we even got to the puzzle. I didn't even have time to realize what I was supposed to do with a lighted prop that I had JUST picked up and he was walking me through the puzzle. I didn't ask for help nor did I need help. It's a waste of money to pay for a puzzle room only to be walked through the puzzles. We escaped with over 10 minutes remaining so it's not like we were far behind and needed to be pushed along. I got the impression he just wanted to end the day. Five stars for the room, one star for the game master.

Andy (captain) & Alice made our trip truly special & memorable! The care, conversations & enthusiasm was so amazing. They both really helped the experience be something that will bring us coming back. Even though myself my daughter Lexy (90 rooms & counting) have finished all the rooms they have we are still looking forward to visiting with them just to say hi whenever we are in town. Thank you, you 2 for making our visit something to remember. Blessings to you both!

We came in a little bit past their last game and they got me and my boyfriend in very quickly despite the time! Gavin was our game master and was very helpful when we needed it and responded to any questions we had/our jokes. He made the overall experience 100% cooler. We did the haunting of Hyde house and it was amazing! Definitely a 10/10 experience and will be doing it again. Very affordable

Breakfast restaurant
Crockett's Breakfast Camp is a charming restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg, paying homage to the legacy of David C. Crockett Maples, an original frontiersman. The rustic, cabin-themed eatery offers a modern twist on classic Southern breakfast dishes and pledges to deliver quality food and service to all visitors. The ambiance is a perfect tribute to Gatlinburg of decades past, and their house-made skillet cakes are simply scrumptious.
This place is a MUST STOP! Definitely worth the wait if there is one. We came on a weekday, parking is quite limited- looks like they have a few spots of their own. We just found street parking and walked a short distance. The atmosphere is adorable- lots of cool details throughout the restaurant. The menus are a newspaper format. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Our food came out rather quickly and boy was it delicious! 10/10! They even sell some of their own merch.

Stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Portions were good and the food was tasty, I had the corn beef hash Benedict and it hit the spot. Service was friendly and kept things moving, even with the crowd. A solid way to start the morning in Gatlinburg

This place is definitely worth the wait. By far one if not the best breakfast I've ever eaten. Pancakes are a must even if your not a fan as I normally would not eat one. But these are absolutely amazing. The cinnamon rolls we got 2 so we all shared, absolutely delicious. The omelet was made to perfection 👌 This place is a MUST! Even if your not staying in Gatlinburg go there for breakfast cuz you won't be disappointed. Great all around over all in every area. 10 outta 10
Jason T — Google review
Much hype surrounding this place. The wait is over an hour long. The inside looks great and the menu is a newspaper to give you that old countryside vibe. We ordered the popular must trys including the thick pancakes and the giant cinnamon buns. The pancakes were enormous but the texture and flavor was lacking. When you bite into them, you don't get that fluffy texture, instead it kinda breaks apart when you cut into it. Kinda hard to describe but you'll know what I mean when you try it. It looks great for photos but tastes very average. The syrup also was very average. We ordered a side of bacon and the portion size was smaller than expected, they were mediocre. The giant cinnamon bun was flavorless, dry and tough. The cinnamon buns you can get at the mall is miles better. We took it to go and ended up tossing it the next morning. My favorite item was the strawberry orange juice. Home made and fresh, delicious. We visited here on vacation and got pulled into the hype. This restaurant is textbook tourist trap.

The BEST breakfast we had while in Gatlinburg! However, it is extremely busy, with looong waiting times being right on the main strip. We had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to get seated however once seated the service is fast and the food is so worth it and filling! You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure! The staff, for being so crowded and busy were still very pleasant, efficient and always had a smile on their faces. Breakfast was soo DELICIOUS!!

OMG is all I can say! One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! I had candied apples, pecan smoked bacon, grits, biscuits and gravy and a pancake. No way did I finish even half of it, but I had to taste it.
Renee A — Google review
Food was delicious! The cinnamon rolls are ginormous! Pancakes are thick! We got there around 11:15 AM and didn’t get seated until after 12:30 PM but it was worth the wait. We just went in some stores while we waited. The portions were plenty big.

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp is one of those places that’s almost always busy, but they keep things moving so the wait isn’t too bad, and it’s worth it once you’re in. The portions are big, the menu has a lot of variety from giant cinnamon rolls to skillet breakfasts, and the food comes out hot and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive even with a packed house, and the mountain lodge vibe inside adds to the experience. It’s the kind of spot where you leave full and happy, so just plan for a bit of a wait if you come during peak times. Better yet, get on the website and tell them you are coming.

The highlight is the stunning fountain with flames on top it looks absolutely magical at night. A perfect spot to relax, explore, and soak in the Gatlinburg charm.

The Village Shops were excellent! A wonderful variety of stores, great atmosphere, and such a pleasant place to walk around and shop. Highly recommend! The place is amazing.

My favorite comfort place! Go after the sun goes down for optimal vibes. Nice variety of shops, the doughnut friar being my favorite. I love sitting by the fountain eating my doughnuts. I can't leave without a walk thru the village.

This sweet little village is filled with so many hidden gems. Located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg this European inspired village is an experience in its self. The brick walkways, themes shops and beautiful landscape completes the charm. Some must stop shops are, God's Corner, The donut Friar, Misty Mountain Soap Company, U Name It, and Zi Olive. I especially enjoyed the sounds of the fountains, the smell of gourmet foods cooking, the variety of souvenir shops and appreciate the cleanliness of the baby friendly bathrooms (iykyk).

Art museum
The Salt & Pepper Shaker Museum in Gatlinburg is a unique and quirky attraction that showcases over 20,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers from various eras, made from a wide range of materials. This museum, owned by Andrea Ludden, offers visitors an unexpected history lesson as they explore the offbeat displays that reflect societal changes. It's one of only two museums of its kind in the world and provides a fascinating experience for those interested in exploring unusual collections.
Over 20000 sets of S&P shakers! The entry fee is $3 or something similar to that, honestly, I would have paid $10. There was a large variety of sets. They were behind glass, which was fine, when people touch things- they break and steal them. The staff was extremely friendly and told me all about the history and some fun facts about them. I didn’t know what I expected when I went but I’m glad I did. My only complaint was I wish they had magnets or stickers. Overall, I would highly recommend it!

My husband and ai were honeymooning for n Gatlinburg. We were looking through travel brochures and saw the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum. I was immediately intrigued but my husband, not so much. Well to my surprise, we stopped and got breakfast at Flapjacks and the museum was just behind it! So after breakfast my husband treated me to The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum!!! I was so excited! It was surprisingly cheap to enter at $3.50 each. There was no line but there were a few people who went in ahead of us unfortunately. It would have been more enjoyable if we had waited for them to finish because they were VERY LOUD and often blocking some of the areas where we wanted to look. They kept yelling at their kids and their kids were sooo loud. They had almost every kind of shaker you can imagine. They were categorized and displayed behind glass. There were so many and it was so fun to look at them all. I could have spent hours in there but I tried to keep it minimal for my husbands sake…. And it was a bit loud in there with the other group of folks who didn’t seem to pay attention bit of attention to anyone else in there. We were able to take photos of all the displays but couldn’t take photos in the gift shop. They had some neat shakers in the gift shop but they were so expensive. Like $30 and more for salt and pepper shakers (Cracker Barrel sells cute ones for 0.99 cents) so ai was a bit disappointed about the prices in the gift shop and we couldn’t take photos in there either. That was kinda sad as they had some neat ones. But I’m guessing they don’t want you to google lens them and see how much you can get them for elsewhere. It was a good time though. We enjoyed the museum and ai would go again. The couple working the museum (most likely owners - were very nice folks).

The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is so much fun for everyone. My 5 year old loved it, my 17 year old sister loved it and the adults LOVED it. This was an extra memorable trip because they had all of my daughter’s favorite things: chicks 🐥, kitties 🐱, holidays!!! She loved everything so much that she sat down her stuffed animal, Hedgie, and he was forgotten in all of the shakin’ excitement. I am so happy that this is the place that she forgot him. I cannot imagine that we would have even gotten Hedgie back from any of the other attractions we visited on our first Fall Vacation. But The Salt and Pepper Museum located Hedgie and gave him a Night at the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers to remember. A beautiful store, a beautiful story in honor of the first Collector, and an extra special thank you from us to the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum. At the gift shop we purchased chicks and bunnies. Pictures to follow. Photos of the museum courtesy of the 5 year old whom forgot Hedgie. 🙂‍↔️🩷

We have driven past here every trip and never stopped. I’m so glad we did! It’s only a $3 entrance fee but if you buy a salt & pepper shaker at the end, they take that off the price! You can spend as much or little time as you want. The salt and pepper shakers are organized and there is something for everyone to enjoy! Over 20,000 of them! Definitely brought back memories of family members & holidays! Stop by and check it out next time you’re around the area!

This is such a strange and delightful museum. The outside of the building is quite humble, but the inside is filled with so many delightful treasures. Salt and Pepper shakers might not seem interesting to everyone, but it's such a unique lens to view history. There are pieces from all over the world. Old first class airline shakers. Pop culture shakers. More than you could ever possibly imagine. And they've also done a great job at trying to preserve history. Throughout the museum the provide all sorts of information about the pieces, yes, but even about things that impacted trade and why certain materials were used. Definitely worth a walk through.
Jenny H — Google review
Absolutely LOVED going here! It was different and interesting to see all the different salt and pepper shakers. The cost is very reasonable, doesnt take long, but did try to take my time and see everything even though I know I probably missed some. Definitely recommend!

Cool place!!! 20,000+ salt/pepper shaker sets. 2,200 sets available for sale in the gift shop. Thought I’d seen it all until we came across this legit museum of salt and pepper shakers from old and new, near and far. Shakers from all over the world can be seen here!
Brian J — Google review
I give this 5 stars because I truly do not know if there is a better salt and pepper shaker museum in the country or maybe even world. We stumbled across this place because it was raining and we seen some shops to go in. We definitely do not regret it. Some interesting shakers in there. Owner said she is working on a scavenger hunt which would be fun add on to the experience. Very friendly and well set up. Worth the $3.65

Ripley's Super Fun Zone in Gatlinburg is a must-visit destination for those seeking an action-packed day of entertainment. The 1980s-themed attraction offers two exciting laser tag arenas, an indoor mini-golf course, and a shooting gallery. The retro store adds to the nostalgic experience, making it a perfect spot for friends and family to enjoy some friendly competition and create lasting memories.
Ripley's Super Fun Zone in Gatlinburg was a blast! The retro theme set a playful vibe, and the arcade had a great mix of classic and modern games. The staff was friendly, and the whole place felt welcoming. Perfect for a quick, fun stop in Gatlinburg!
Grim_lens — Google review
The laser tag is absolutely horrible unless you had a small group of children. Definitely not large enough for any adults to be in there. Instead of having 2 small areas with a curtain separating them, they should make it one large room, and that would be a huge improvement. The employees may as well have been robots as far as personality, but I don't think it was them personally. The mini golf is pretty much garbage also, but the 80s trivia was fun to me and the wife since we are 80s babies. I'm sure this place was a hot spot at some point within the last few decades, but it's definitely due for a complete overhaul, and I couldn't see anyone ever wanting to pay to do either of these twice.
Jerod S — Google review
Believe it or not, this place must have been invented before fun cuz its not. That mini golf.....wow.....I couldn't wait to be done after hole number 3. Poorly laid out, the "obstacles" are laughable, need to have someone sanitize those golf clubs, the "decor" is repetitive (good movies on the wall, but there are so many great 80s classics, why repeat posters?), the geometry on many holes is not thought out.... Super Fun Zone....the name is three descriptive words for this facility, only 1 of them is accurate....it truly is a zone You'd think that something that carries a popular name like Ripley's, their "attractions" would have something of substance. This mini golf felt like some kids rushed Eagle Scout project.

We had a great time at Ripley’s Super Fun Zone in Myrtle Beach! The arcade is bright, clean, and modern, with a really nice layout that makes it easy to get around. Loading money onto the game cards (and adding more when needed) was super simple, which made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. There’s an impressive variety of games here, so whether you like classics, racing, shooting, or ticket-winning games, there’s something for everyone. It’s conveniently located right by all the beach attractions, which makes it an easy stop while enjoying the boardwalk. Yes, you can go through money quickly—but that’s the nature of all arcades. Overall, it’s a fun, family-friendly spot where we all had a blast. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Myrtle Beach!
Bugs S — Google review
It was a rainy day, so my friend and I decided to stop by here. It was very much a good experience. It's a small place, jam-packed with all kinds of 80's themed memorabilia. We did the golf and laser tag and had a great time! Good bang for your buck!
Amanda E — Google review
Ok, the laser tag isn't the coolest one I've ever been in and how they have it broke into two sections with a curtain is a bit lame. However, we were there on a friday afternoon and it was dead, it was our group of four and two others (3 adults and 3 kids). My wife didn't want to do it (not her thing), but she did with some convincing of the kids and she had a blast... everyone had a blast. We weren't bothered by the size or anything like that, there were a bunch of little crannies to kind of hide in. I could definitely see this NOT being the case for any teens or larger groups, but being just 6 of us, it felt plenty large enough. My 9 year old WON and I took 2nd, he won't let me live that down and we are still having laughs about it.
Joshua K — Google review
The laser tag was fun we were exhausted by the time you were finished they give you 7 minutes to play. The miniature golf was awful it's in the Attic no decoration you basically just walk on 2 by 4s and play golf it was not that great
Car D — Google review
The mini golf is honestly one of the worst I have ever seen. Good thing we didn’t pay for this cause wow. Only thing good was they were playing all 80s bangers.

Gatlinburg SkyPark offers an open-air chairlift ride to an 1,800-ft. overlook with stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. It features the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America, known as the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, offering breathtaking views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. The park also includes the newly opened Gatlinburg SkyTrail with Tulip Tower, providing ADA accessibility along its Boardwalk section.
This was just breathtaking, you must go and take in the beauty of the scenery!! The chairlift ride up and down gave me thrills! When you get to the top of the mountain, you have the view of Gatlinburg and the mountains! And crossing the SkyBridge was an extraordinary experience, especially walking across 30 feet of clear glass panels in the middle of the bridge, where you can look straight down! Not to be missed! Also, the town of Gatlinburg is just wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed walking along the Main Street area, with all the shops, attractions, places to eat, wineries, ice cream parlors.

Nice way to enjoy breathtaking views of city and Smoky Mountain. Overall ride starts with a picture, then you walk through info pictures sharing history. Then, begins the journey to reach towards Sky bridge via Sky ride. Ride is amazing, smooth and readily available. Enjoyed the highest bridge views with possible pedestrians walk.

Had a good ride up on the chairlift. Got a drink and looked over the waterfall display. Walked across the sky bridge and returned via the hiking trail by the tower. All in all was very excellent.
John S — Google review
A great place to see the trees and explore atop the mountain... places to sit and enjoy the view, firepits, walking trails, food and beverage, too. Going across on the sky ridge was fun and not too scary...even managed the clear section of the bridgd, once my brain learned that I was supported.
Rose C — Google review
The view is astonishing, however a little pricey compared to what you have to purchase in order to have fun. Every ticket is separated so per person be ready to spend at least $60, not including food or drinks. For you/us smokers make sure you smoke enough before going up. You will find a "Please NO SMOKING" sign every few feet apart. I had my fun and enjoyed the stay.
Antuan M — Google review
My wife, friend and I finally got to walk across this awesome bridge. Views from the top are breathtaking! It was a cloudy day. Rained all week but bridge didn't disappoint. Tickets are pricey but worth it. Plenty of places to sit and food smelled really good. If we had not already eaten at a pancake house, we probably would have bought a smash burger.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A once-in-a-lifetime view you’ll never forget! SkyPark in Gatlinburg isn’t just an attraction — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. The moment you step onto the SkyLift and rise above the town, the Smoky Mountains unfold in front of you like a painting. Reaching the SkyBridge feels surreal — walking across the glass panels in the middle is thrilling yet peaceful, with the mountains stretching endlessly around you. What truly makes SkyPark special is the combination of adventure and serenity. The evening lights from downtown Gatlinburg sparkle below while the mountain silhouettes glow in the sunset. The SkyTrail adds a perfect touch of exploration, and every viewpoint feels designed for that perfect photo moment. The staff are friendly, the facilities spotless, and the atmosphere is pure magic — especially if you visit close to sunset when the colors shift from golden to deep blue. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or with family, SkyPark is the heart of Gatlinburg’s beauty — a must-visit that captures the soul of the Smokies.

Visited the Gatlinburg SkyPark and had a wonderful experience…The trip starts with a chairlift ride that takes you to the top of the mountain where there’s a 30 foot Bridge with transparent glass panels in the middle where you can look straight down..The lush green vegetation creates a mist giving the mountains a signature smoky appearance..The view is beautiful in every direction..I felt relaxed and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere..

Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Donut Friar has been a beloved local institution since 1969. Despite its lack of a website, this cash-only establishment has gained widespread recognition and was even named the best donut shop in Tennessee by Southern Living Magazine. With over 30 varieties to choose from, along with fresh cinnamon bread and seasonal treats, visitors are sure to find something to satisfy their sweet tooth.
BEST DONUTS.. we will always come back to Donut Friar! The only catch is cash only, but they do have an ATM. Such fantastic yummy sweets, tons of options, and the service is great. The owner Kathleen does so much for her customers and it shows! This is the perfect place to get together with friends or a book club, they have a nice upstairs with tables and chairs. Perfect setting right in the heart of Gatlinburg.

Loved my iced mocha! The donuts smelled so good, and the glazed jelly-filled donut was yummy. Plenty of mugs, and some shirts for sale. Cash only. The employees weren't overly nice, but efficient. Cool set-up!

I stopped by after having a huge breakfast at another place. Honestly, I wish I would have just gone here and had myself a donut and coffee. Loved the location, history of the shop and the donuts are a gift from heaven. Fresh, tasty, an absolute satisfying treat. I bought the coconut which is a cakey donut topped with a bit of a frosting with coconut flakes. The blueberry cruller with a lovely glaze. The unique find which was amazing was the glazed croissant. I left wanting to try all the flavors. Worth going back over and over. Very important, this is a cash only store. There is an ATM in shop, but better to go with cash in hand just in case the ATM not working.
Blanca R — Google review
CASH ONLY with ATM onsite. Staff was prompt and friendly. Wonderful selection of donuts, from cake to dough, crullers to eclair, cinnamon rolls. They have a nice selection. Honestly, the best donut I have had in years! I went a little before 7. I had no problem finding free street parking on River Street (besides my GPS freaking out once I arrived to town). I didn't realize one can park on the main drag at that time of day, or else my trip would have been much quicker without a 5+ minutes walk each way.
Allie M — Google review
Awesome place to try out different donuts. Different taste and arts that comes with donuts. Ensure you are carrying cash as they don't accept card but cash only. Similarly, they also serve food cinnamon bread which we as a team loved. Also on the side note, place will be busier and therefore you will find no place to eat at the shop, so look for a good spot to settle down and eat with peace in your mind with a sip of coffee or tea. You may want to cherish your day after a long day if not a long day you start.

We have tried a lot of donut shops and thank god we don’t live close by because this place has me in a choke hold how unbelievably delicious they are my favorite is the Bavarian cream doesn’t taste like the fake filling in so many other shops tastes like the donuts I had in Germany. The texture of the pillow pastry was buttery and flaky with the creamy Bavarian oozing out lord have mercy I died and went to heaven. But the Bavarian chocolate eclair I said I only want half trust me you can eat the whole thing in a blink. On Saturday by mid afternoon they were sold out so we placed an order for Sunday and then Monday got double orders. I’m filling myself up with Bavarian crème all the way home. Hubby and our kid’s favorite was the Raspberry filled and also felt like you were tasting homemade not from the can filling 10/10 truly on all the donuts and customer service everyone was absolutely awesome. The apple filled and cinnamon twists literally I don’t think you could go wrong on any choices. We did get the lemonade slushy which was wonderful on the hot humid afternoon but they do offer a coffee slushy which looked very good too.

Fannie Farkle's Amusement is a must-visit venue in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a unique combination of delicious food and exciting arcade entertainment. While it may not be your typical sit-down restaurant, the menu boasts mouthwatering options such as footlong corn dogs, sausage subs, cheesesteaks, and the famous Ogle Dogs. These corn dog-style treats are prepared using a secret family recipe with locally sourced ingredients.
Our food was dynamite!! My husband is always talking about wanting a hotdog on a stick (corndog) and we FINALLY got it here! Our corndog was well breaded and delicious! The footlong hotdog with chilli was INSANE! The hotdog was so big and a FOOT along! It was so good! If you get ANY toppings on the hotdog, make sure you have napkins because it was very messy!! Usually, places that offer huge food lacks in quality or flavor, but NOT AT FANNIES!! Overall the food makes this a 5 out of 5! The employees were friendly, very nice, and working hard! However, it was a bit of a wait to order because there were only two, and in one area 1 employee trying to ring up customers and cook the orders, creating a lot of waiting. The workers would benefit from more help in the food areas!! We even got a souvenir cup! We will definitely return again when on the strip!
Kayla B — Google review
Fannie Farkle’s is a Gatlinburg staple! Reminds me of my childhood! Every single time, the corndogs do not disappoint! They are delicious! I always want to try the sandwich but corndog wins! The arcade has a little something for everyone! If you’re walking around downtown, it’s a must!
Megan W — Google review
Most reviews talk about the food so let me give a review in regards to the arcade: not good. We enjoyed the arcade 15 years ago and came back for the nostalgia but seems like a lot changed. It’s like all claw machines or those dropping tokens and hoping it pushes a card down games. We love a good arcade and do them frequently so we know the good games well. There were not many good games and the good ones they had were broken or ‘rigged.’ For example the knock the clowns down game had so few balls it would be impossible to win the jackpot. Both ping pong games had cups that didn’t register so it was impossible to win. We saw a different arcade down the street that looked like it would have been a lot better. Even if you like claw machines, these didn’t seem very ‘friendly’ to winning. The arcade glory days of Fannie Farkle are over. Maybe they have good food (didn’t try it) but don’t go here for the arcade!
Brittany S — Google review
We were drawn in by the smell of grilled onions. I ordered the smoked sausage and my wife ordered the cheesesteak. Both were amazing! The cheesesteak was absolutely loaded with beef and cheese. We couldn’t finish it. The sausage had the perfect snap and was served piping hot. It was so good that I went back to see if I could order some to the house. That’s when I found out that they have have a supplier that makes them specifically for them. Fast and friendly service too. This will be a stop that we make every time we’re in town now. Reminded me of fair food. 10/10 (the picture is after the cheesesteak cooled in the fridge, but it should still show how loaded the sandwich was)
Quindon K — Google review
This is always a must stop for our family! My son absolutely loves the corn dogs here & loves the arcade games. We always spend more than an hour here. Staff have always been friendly & helpful. There are many different games & some super cool prizes! To play the games you use one of the machines around the arcade, you receive a reusable game card and the machines take cash bills & credit/debit cards. The food is served at the front of the arcade. This is not a ‘restaurant’ so expect to stand or walk around or even find a bench just outside to eat your food.
Charity Z — Google review
We were SO looking forward to visiting this place. We were SO disappointed in it!! The young man working the corn dogs/drinks was not friendly at all. The corn dogs, rather than being "fresh dipped" were laying on a griddle, keeping warm. They looked oily and just VERY unappetizing. He wasn't making "fresh" ones. This was at lunch time. So, we passed on the "legendary" corn dog as we knew he was going to give us a premade one that had been keeping warm on griddle for Lord only knows how long. For the high price of the food, you expect FRESHLY MADE! We were equally as unimpressed with their "arcade". Very small and very few claw games. Lousy prizes, too. Not worth the money to play at all. We left there not wanting to ever go back. It looked SO much better on videos and their website! I don't understand all the hype about this place! We were so bummed!

Ripley's Mirror Maze is a quirky museum featuring oddities like shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons. The attraction offers a thrilling experience as visitors navigate through a maze of mirrors and LED lights, encountering surprising corners, dead ends, continuous circles, and rotating mirrors. The Infinity Room provides an opportunity to see infinite reflections in every direction. Whether exploring alone or with a group, the maze challenges perception and direction while providing endless fun for families and kids.
Great way to have fun. I loved this place. They give you gloves so you don’t get the mirrors dirty or scratched. Loved the mirror designs, the lights and music. The path could be a bit short for those of us that enjoy every bit of it and want more, but you can always go back and do it all over again and again like I did. Definitely a great way to have fun for the whole family.

Ripley’s Mirror Maze was such a fun and mind-bending experience! The moment we put on those special glasses, everything got ten times more confusing—in the best way possible. The lights and reflections felt like they were coming from all directions, and it was hilarious trying to figure out what was real and what was just another mirror. We kept walking into walls and thinking we found the exit, only to end up back where we started 😂. The whole vibe was playful and energetic, and the staff was super friendly. It’s a short activity, but definitely a unique and memorable one. Great fun for all ages—would totally go again just to see who gets lost first!
Anitsirhc Y — Google review
The staff wasn’t friendly. They literally did not say a word to my husband and I other than, “grab some gloves”. The mirrors and carpet were so dirty, it was very easy to tell your way through the maze because of the dust build up and finger prints. When we left we put our gloves in the trash and left and the 2 employees didn’t even bother to look up at us.
Alina W — Google review
$61 for 4 people..took 5 minutes and was probably a 2/10 in difficulty. Maybe fine for kids under 10. This place would have potential with a larger space or even multiple levels but for the price I paid thats the only visit for us.

Gatlin’s Mini Golf is a popular destination offering a variety of attractions, including miniature golf, laser tag, bumper cars, and a 3D theater. The location features two outdoor mountainside courses and an indoor blacklight course with sea life and other creatures. With 45 holes spread across creative courses that incorporate plants, flowers, and centuries-old trees into the landscape, visitors can also learn about the history of Gatlinburg as they play.
We went mid day on a Monday and had no wait or issues navigating the course. One of the courses was closed, but we still had a good time. This one is a little more pricey than the other mini golf places, but it had nice views.

We got the unlimited deal. It’s definitely worth it. One of the courses was closed while we were there, which was a disappointment. But other than that we still had a great time. The outdoor has a lot of stairs so be aware before making the walk/drive over there if someone in your party is unable to do stairs. The indoor course is 9 holes and the AC works amazingly. There are a few stairs in there to do one of the holes. Overall we will go back and hopefully get to do the other course.

We actually did the Escape Room and it was a blast. Damon made the adventure. He was great!!! I would i highly recommend.

They have 2 outside 18 hole courses and 1 blacklight 9 hole indoor course. They do have a nice all you can play 10 day deal that was a good price.
Chad G — Google review
A little expensive for what it offers. You get 4 games for $21.95 + tax, which is ok, but time is less than 5 min a game in a very small space. The sky trail was not bad for the kids to try and they enjoyed it. It is a clean place in a good area and view. You should still visit it as it is not as crowded as other places around with professional staff and a clean place.

Went here as a family one evening when we wanted something to do (my son had been here before & asked to go). They had so many activities and some great packages to make your visit great!! There was an escape room, bumper cars, gel blaster, 3 putt-putt courses & that’s just what I remember. We were tired from the day so we opted to do the putt-putt. We had a blast!! We did one of the outdoor courses & the indoor blacklight course.
Charity Z — Google review
Great little place to have some fun with adults or kids both! They have passes where you can play all 3 courses! 2 outdoor and 1 indoor, the indoor was really cool black light course! All the kids we saw come in loved it! Even we loved it!
Garrett N — Google review
Nice place to play some putt putt. They have a total of three courses here. Two of them are outside on the side of a hill, and the other is a blacklist course inside. My wife and I bought the unlimited 10 day pass to play all three courses as many time as we want over the course of 10 days. Today, we have played all three. We wil be going to back to play some more tomorrow as well. If you're lucky, like us, a bear comes wandering onto the course as it did for us tonight. There are also some great views of the strip the higher you get on the course!

Dollywood, owned by Dolly Parton, is a theme park offering a variety of attractions such as waterslides, rides, and live music shows. Visitors can also enjoy family fall activities in the surrounding area including wildlife sightings at Cades Cove loop and cave exploration at Tuckaleechee Caverns. The theme park is known for its Southern cuisine with popular dishes like fried chicken and catfish.
Great day out a Dollywood! The park is super cute, not too big and plenty going on for every age. We didn’t get to see any shows but we did ride the rides and loved them. We got to the park for 0930 for its opening at 1000 and it was relatively quiet and nice to walk around. Unfortunately a lot of the rides didn’t open until 1100 onwards. Lightening Rod, the star of the show rollercoaster was closed all day (apparently a common theme!) but luckily reopened at 1800 so we got a ride in. The park got very busy in the afternoon with 75-80 min queue times but 15-30 mins in the morning. Food in the park was delicious and well priced for a theme park. Queues for food later in the day had long lines. $25 for parking is a tad steep on top of your park ticket but most parks are now doing this sadly. Phone signal in the park is very poor meaning the Dollywood app is rendered near useless with a quite a few guests complaining about this on the ride back to the car park. Overall though would highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting Dollywood — last year we came during Christmas time, and now it’s officially becoming a family tradition for us! 🎡✨ We visited in October this time, and it was just as magical. We chose the Preferred Parking ($55) again, and it’s absolutely worth it — especially with a toddler and stroller. It’s super convenient being so close to the entrance, and even if you choose regular parking, they have trams that pick you up and drop you off right at the gate. At the entrance, the staff measures the kids and gives them color-coded wristbands, so you immediately know which rides are safe and suitable for their height — such a smart and thoughtful idea! There are tons of rides for younger kids, and plenty for adults too, so everyone has fun. The train ride is always a favorite — it runs every hour and takes about 16 minutes through the beautiful Smoky Mountain scenery. 🚂 The park is spotless, the staff is kind and helpful, and the food is delicious (definitely don’t skip the cinnamon bread!). Everything feels warm, friendly, and family-oriented — exactly the kind of place you want to come back to year after year. We’re already looking forward to coming back for the Christmas lights again — Dollywood has definitely become one of our favorite family traditions! ❤️🎠

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Blast at Dollywood! I had such an amazing time at Dollywood! From the moment I walked through the gates, the whole place was bursting with charm, Southern hospitality, and good old-fashioned fun. The staff were incredibly friendly—everyone smiled, cracked jokes, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience even better. The rides? Absolutely awesome! The coasters gave the perfect mix of thrill and excitement without feeling overwhelming (Lightning Rod was my personal favorite 😍). Between rides, I loved exploring all the themed areas—everything felt so clean, well-kept, and beautifully decorated. And don’t even get me started on the food! The cinnamon bread is legendary for a reason—warm, gooey, and impossible to eat just one piece. I also tried some delicious barbecue and homemade fudge that I’m still dreaming about. The live shows were such a pleasant surprise, too—tons of talent and heart. It really felt like more than just an amusement park; it’s a full experience filled with music, laughter, and that cozy mountain magic you can only find in Tennessee. If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly, and unforgettable getaway, Dollywood is 100% worth it. I left with a full belly, sore cheeks from smiling so much, and a phone full of happy memories. Can’t wait to go back! 🎢🎶🌄

Such a great time! The whole park was decorated for Halloween and was so charming once it got dark. The rides rocked, I particularly loved Lightning Rod, pictured here in my review. It’s the fastest rollercoaster in the world and it felt that way! I also particularly enjoyed Barnstorm; a massive swing that gave a real thrill. Overall the park is themed wonderfully, fun to explore, and definitely worth visiting again and again.

1st time visiting. One of the nicest amusement parks we've visited. Very clean and they've paid alot of attention to details in the decorating. Majority of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty kid-friendly areas and rides, but also, plenty of extreme thrill rides as well. Not to compare, but a Disney-like experience, in a much more laid back, down-home, relaxing atmosphere. Very well done, we'll be back. Highly recommend.

If you are into roller coasters this is the place for you. From small to large the roller coasters are thrilling. I like a more laid back atmosphere. I find that at the state fair area and some of the more "tame" rides. The stores and music are fun as well. Well run and friendly staff. Even on our busy Saturday I found we didn't wait more than 35 minutes for a ride except for the train. Good experience! Loved that every vendor had free water for guests.

1st timers attending Dollywood here....Dollywood was AWESOME, from beginning of day to end of day!!! Didn't get tickets ahead, but getting thru ticket line booth was easy peasy! My sister in-law and I are senior citizens (got $10 off ticket price 😉🤗)!!! She and I had planned this trip back in 2020, she got sick, ended up in hospital the day after her birthday, my boyfriend went on that trip w/me. Soooo, she's been owing me this trip, 😆! She wanted to go to Dollywood, we neither one had been, so that's where we went... Dollywood has a cinnamon sugar bread in a loaf pan that is a MUST to try, in fact, that was our breakfast 😋 😄 The train ride through Dollywood is WONDERFUL, it's also a must! It takes you around Dollywood to see the sights. We also went to one of the shows, Appalachian Christmas, it was great! We stayed in Gatlinburg, Christmas lights are strung up, but weren't on yet, so at Dollywood we were amazed by all their beautiful Christmas lights and decorations! We were hoping to get to see Christmas lights shining, we were blessed with Dollywood's!!!! We went on a single day pass ticket, everything is included except your food, souvenirs, photo's....I am not sure about the rides, such as roller coasters and etc. Your parking fee is $25. The fall colors were still not in full bloom, but they were still beautiful 😍

This was my second Dollywood visit and it was amazing. I enjoyed the rides and the atmosphere of the park. This was the first time that I got to ride Lightning Rod, the RMC hybrid coaster. It was a great ride with lot’s of airtime. My personal favorite is Wild Eagle, the B&M wing coaster. I enjoyed the large drop and graceful inversions on the wings of an eagle. I ate at the mill house for lunch and had a Mac and cheese bowl. I also went to the bakery and got a pumpkin cinnamon roll and butterfly rice crispy treat. At the end I purchased a Wild Eagle shirt and Dollywood blanket. This park is wonderful and has earned its vote of number one theme park. I will note that my visit today was so great because I purchased the time saver premium for $111 after tax. It allowed unlimited rides on every ride. I got to ride all 9 roller coasters, some multiple times. If you come to the area, you must visit.

🌟 The Island in Pigeon Forge – A Beautiful, Must-Visit Spot Visiting The Island in Pigeon Forge is always a great experience. It’s clean, well-maintained, and feels a bit more upscale compared to the main strip. Whether you’re with family, friends, or just exploring solo, there’s something for everyone. At night, the whole place lights up beautifully—it’s honestly one of the prettiest spots in town. There are tons of shops to browse, fun activities to try, and plenty of food options to satisfy any craving. It’s a great mix of entertainment and relaxation, perfect for both adults and kids. One highlight is the SkyFly ride—super fun and definitely worth checking out. It’s immersive, exciting, and one of the best attractions on site. The whole area just has a more polished, classy vibe compared to the rest of the strip, and that makes it stand out. If you’re in Pigeon Forge, The Island is 100% worth the visit. Highly recommended!

A good day to spend the day. If dont have a day, then few hours can be spent walking around the shops or visiting some the restaurants. Timberwood grill was good. The kids will enjoy the rides. Wheel ride was good to get a view of the city. Highly recommend a visit.

The Island is always a pleasure to visit. I love walking around and checking out all the shops. This recent visit was especially fun because there were dinosaurs! My best friend and I decided to do the dino "scavenger hunt" and we had tons of fun spotting them all. The bonus gift at the end was nice too!
Renee R — Google review
Fun and diverse. It is a little crowded. However, there is so much to do. Free parking and a nice ambiance, dinosaurs included. Lot's of shopping to do from food, clothes and typical mountain stuff. Lot of entertainment and dinning for all tastes and budgets. Keep in mind that everything is paid individually, so it adds up quick.

The water show was fun and the big ferris wheel made it feel like you were on a boardwalk. They have other little rides and activities for kids too. I really liked the Kermit's Keylime store. Several of the gift shops had nice handmade jewelry and nice quality clothes. Very touristy. Dining options are places like Dick's Last Resort. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon. They provide a free parking lot and a tram if you would like to use it.

Pancake Pantry is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Gatlinburg, known for its wide variety of flapjacks. Established in 1960, it has been serving hearty breakfasts for decades. The restaurant offers an extensive list of breakfast items including buttermilk pancakes and unique flavors like Caribbean Pancakes, Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and Sugar n Spice Pancakes.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the sweet potato pancakes—so good, I barely stopped to take a proper picture! The cinnamon syrup made them even better, adding just the right touch of warmth and sweetness. For lunch, we had The Continental with homemade chips. I opted to keep side since I’m not big on sauces—it had a sweet and tangy flavor that wasn’t quite my thing, but the sandwich and chips themselves were fantastic. My husband went for the hamburger with homemade fries, and both were a hit. Overall, a great meal with a few personal taste preferences in the mix!

One of the best breakfast spots! Pancake Pantry completely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The service was truly world-class—friendly, attentive, and with perfect timing of food. everything came out exactly when it should. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted amazingly and was made with care. Honestly, this is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever visited, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.
Krister-Martin H — Google review
Founded in 1961, Pancake Pantry is a must-visit classic. We waited about 20 minutes as a party of seven, but service was quick once seated. The place is big, lively, and a bit loud, yet conversation-friendly. The veggieburger was mild and could use a little more flavor, but the Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancake were absolutely delicious, fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, and sharing a pancake and a sandwich works perfectly for two. The fries were crisp and tasty too. Definitely worth the wait for the pancakes.
Harsh S — Google review
The pancakes were really good and didn’t taste bad at all. The omelettes were okay but not the best. The atmosphere was really nice and felt like a wooden diner. The waiters were obviously in a rush but that seems reason since it was packed. The waiting time wasn’t that long only around 15 min.

The crepes were AMAZING! I had the wildberry ones - outside of the taste I really appreciate how big they were, it was definitely very filling and worth the price. Alisha was amazing, always made sure to check if we needed anything, I especially appreciate anytime I don't have to wait for a drink refill when I'm at a restaurant haha.

It has been years since I have come for a visit. Always bring a friend to try the delicious breakfast. My friend had the sweet potato pancakes, which she loved and the sausage patties. I had the gluten free pancakes which was a first. They were okay. I just don't like regular syrup because of the processed ingredients in it, so I only ate one out of the huge portion given to me because of the syrup. The turkey sausage was good too. Before I came I saw on their online menu there was a gluten free crepe option, which when I asked I was told no there was none.

The food was pretty good overall, my wife did not like her hash brown. The atmosphere wasn’t awful, but more on the moderate side being that it’s right on the Gatlinburg strip. The servers and waitress were nice

Ripley's Mountain Coaster is a thrilling experience located in Gatlinburg, offering riders the chance to control their sleds as they navigate through the forest on a track. The coaster provides beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains as it slowly pulls riders to the top before sending them twisting and turning back down. It is one of several mountain coasters in Gatlinburg, but stands out for its smooth double track and claimed faster speeds.
What a ride! The Ripley Mountain Coaster was way more exciting than I expected—an absolute thrill from start to finish! The views going up were stunning, and the ride down was fast, twisty, and just pure fun. Loved that you can control the speed a bit, so it’s great whether you want to take it slow or go full speed (I went full speed, no regrets!). It felt super safe and well managed, and the staff were cheerful and helpful throughout. Perfect little adrenaline rush with a mountain view—definitely worth it if you're in the area. We had a group of us go during the evening. Cat was our ride operator & she calmed our nerves being we have never been on one before. She answered all our questions & made sure we knew exactly what to do. I also had trouble with my seat belt being twisted and she made sure to help me until I got it right. After Cat made sure to ask if we enjoyed it & that we had fun & we sure did!! Will definitely be going back & hopefully she will be there again!!

This was so much fun! I was scared it was going to be crazy fast and more like a roller coaster but it is not at all! You control the speed so you can go the speed you are comfortable with. After I was comfortable I had it at full speed and it still wasn't crazy fast. I got off and wanted to go again.

Did this as an add-on with other Ripley's activities so it was very inexpensive. Wait time to get on ride was less than 15 minutes. Staff was polite and gave clear instructions for what to do. The ride was fun but short. The carts you ride in hold 1-2 people with a lever to control speed. The carts locked onto the rails and had wire fencing along both sides making it very safe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible customer service! My wife accidentally dropped her iPhone on the Ripley’s Mountain Coaster earlier this evening, and we were heartbroken — especially since we’re heading back to Ohio first thing tomorrow morning. We came back this evening hoping for a miracle, and thanks to Colby (I believe he was the manager on duty) and Gabby (worked the front ticket counter), we got one! Colby went above and beyond to take the time and initiative to safely locate the phone, and Gabby was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about helping us. They treated us with total respect and took our situation seriously from the start. We’re so thankful for their kindness and effort — they completely saved our trip. We also really enjoyed the awesome ride photos taken by the crew on my wife’s phone — such a fun memory to take home! Because of Colby and Gabby, I highly recommend Ripley’s Mountain Coaster to anyone visiting Gatlinburg. Outstanding people and an unforgettable experience!

It's a combination of a circus funhouse and miniature golf that promises an unforgettable time. Meanwhile, the Amazing Mirror Maze is one of the largest mirror maze attractions globally with seven different attractions to navigate through.
Could use a little bit of a face lift but the old school carnival look is fun too. And for the price it was a good deal! It was $12 total for both the mirror maze and the mini golf course. Both are indoors with air conditioning! Sent my adult boys in there and they enjoyed both. They spent about 15 mins in the mirror maze and 30 on mini golf.

Mirror maze is fairly easy but cool. They gave plastic gloves to wear to prevent finger prints. It was dark with black lights and rainbow lights flashing. Golf course is indoors. 18 holes. They have a variety of sizes for the clubs. It's not the best but definitely worth the price. Blacklights only, so everything glows. Cool vibe and wasn't too busy.

Had a blast. We did both activities. Mirror Maze was fun only lost one person. As soon as we got to the mini golf our eyes were having a hard time to adjust. We were the only ones there which was great. Took our time to take pics and enjoy the courses.

We did a brief stay in Tennessee on our roadtrip and we stopped to see Gatlinburg and did the circus mini golf and mirror maze. It was super affordable for the 6 of us to do the maze and golf it was $60 which you couldn’t beat. The golf was cute and fun very child friendly. Very simple course but the decorations are awesome. We loved and spent a good amount of time at the hole with the fun mirrors. The Mirror maze is trippy and we laughed a ton. Overall we had a great time and would recommend checking out this attraction.

It's OK. Mirror maze is pretty good and fun. Lots of turns and twist. The putt putt golf needs updated. The courses are ok but are older. They have black lights throughout the 18 holes. It's ok. Good thing it's in door and air-conditioned. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Guess it gets boring for the employees as had to wait a sec for the lady to close her game of spades to sell us tickets. 🙄

Three stars because the put put was very small and basic. Like, small courses and not a lot of challenge. The mirror maze was awesome. One kid got lost pretty seriously, because they ran off. Took a min to find her. The adults had a blast.

Out of so many to choose in the area, so glad we found this place. What a blast! It was cold outside so we were looking for an indoor activity and I’m so glad we stopped here. We went through the mirror maze and played the mini golf for $10 a person, so price was great. Maze was cool getting lost in and the course was fun. Anakeesta's Treetop Skywalk offers a unique nature experience with its 880-foot network of bridges suspended 50-60 feet above the ground, making it the longest skywalk in the United States. Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains from AnaVista Tower, the highest point in downtown Gatlinburg. Lucky guests might even catch a glimpse of bears from this aerial vantage point.
10/10 recommend!! Great place to go if you are visiting! The place had activities, playgrounds, food that was reasonably priced, and it was very clean! The skylift up there had 2 options, a seat or a cabin, great if you have kids. The roller coaster was very fun and had brakes if you like things slower. Very family friendly and highly recommend.

This is a lot of fun for families with kids. We took our 8 year olds up the lift to the top of the mountain and they had a lot of fun. Not sure it would have been that exciting without kids though! And can't speak to how older kids would enjoy it, but for the younger kids it was lots of fun. And some great pic opportunities up there!
Mark — Google review
The Treetop Skywalk is a fun way to see the forest from above, with suspended bridges that add a little thrill without being too intense. It’s a unique experience, especially at night when the path lights up and the forest feels quiet and magical. The walk is smooth and manageable, even for older family members, though it helps to go early or late to avoid crowds. We went twice—once during the day and again after dark—and both times offered something different. It’s not the best spot for panoramic views, but the experience itself is worth it. Just take your time, be mindful of slower walkers, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the walk.

Loved their treetop sky walk both at day and dusk with lighting.. mountain coasters, astralumina tree venture and much more... preplan to get the tickets, annual pass is worth, if you can make another trip within the year.. the lines to get on to the chair lift can get crazy during peak seasons (wait 2 hours going up and 1 hrs coming down). Annual pass can let you in express lane while going up (not coming down).

So much more bouncy than I expected! We laughed and laughed and laughed! Definitely a bit tiring! But it was very fun! We went during the day time, I bet it would look amazing at night - we would definitely do it again! There was no wait time and we had the place to ourselves on a Friday afternoon.

Great experience! Fun vibes I love it. 100/10 would recommend we are all from Miami and it was a blast coming here! The tour assistant was AMAZING!! And the front desk young girl is Bomb * like her energy.

My mom and I went the other day to play Prison Break, and we had the BEST time!! The staff were incredibly friendly, Jo and John were absolutely awesome and made sure we had the best time. We did escape (thanks to the many clues from Jo), but it was definitely a close call! At the end of the game, the staff surprised me with a Gatlinburg Escape Game shirt, because they had heard me talking about it in the lobby! Thank you for an awesome experience!

A fantastic experience from start to finish! Curtis at the front desk went above and beyond to make our experience great, offering us a birthday discount and free shirts for beating the game within a certain time. He even offered a deep discount to play a second game. Our game guides Chris and Lilly were also excellent, very personable and helpful. Games were challenging but very enjoyable and rewarding. Some very clever moments and impressive attention to detail. Good mix of technology and traditional escape room mechanics. Highly recommend!

Oh wow! This was the most fun escape room I’ve ever been to. The puzzles were challenging, but the staff helped just the right amount when we were close, but needed a little help. I’d definitely go back! Que and Curtis were so welcoming and fun. It was well worth the money.

Me and my cousins went here when we were on vacation in Gatlinburg. Joe and Curtis helped us out during our visit late at night, best customer service EVER. Cracking jokes the whole time and even danced with us and joined our congo line to the front desk after escaping The Heist(we couldn’t have done it without Joe) Going here was probably the best decision we made in Gatlinburg. We all had so much fun!! Thank you Joe and Curtis😊 Much love from Texas

Visitors can explore cozy stores offering handcrafted woodwork, pottery, and more while having the chance to connect with the artists themselves. Oh. My. Gosh. We absolutely loved our basket-weaving class. I feel horrible and can't remember our teacher, but she was so down-to-earth and kind. I made plenty of mistakes along the way and she never made me feel less than, always helping me to fix it and act like it was no big deal. We will 100% be back for another class when we go back down to the Gatlinburg area!

Wonderful area with many artists to visit. We found lovely pottery, jewelry, & lotion. But there are so many other things to enjoy: woodworking, glass blowing, candles, textiles, leather work, paintings , etc. If you are in the area, plan to spend day going from shop to shop on this loop. It is well worth your time. 🙂
Susan W — Google review
A wonderful variety of items for sale. We just drove from place to place and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of items for sale. The people were friendly and engaged us in conversation. We were able to watch some of the artists create their magnificent crafts. I appreciated that there was ample parking at each site, as well as restrooms available for use. We came back with several items we were not aware we needed 😀. A great way to step away from the bustle of the towns and just enjoy the talented craftsmanship of the locals.

We used to adore doing this loop. Apparently folks stopped creating for probably various reasons like retirement or relocation. It’s so much smaller than it used to be. We still found some treating shops and delicious fudge! Buttermilk pecan fudge is amazing! It’s such a shame that it’s not what it used to be. A lot of places were closed on Mondays.
Vicki P — Google review
There are a ton of small business artesians within this 8 mile loop. The community offers unique shops such as goat milk soaps and lotions, broom makers, wood carving, glass blowing, and even a old school soda fountain. It's away from the business of downtown Gatlinburg and is a hidden gem for sure.

My recent trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, revealed a vibrant and captivating nightlife scene that exceeded all expectations. As the sun set, the town transformed into a lively hub of entertainment and energy. The main strip, with its charming neon lights, was bustling with activity. Went June 2025 summer. VERY VERY HOT & VERY CROWDED. Reminded my husband of a carnival. PARKING IS REALLY HARD, all of the traffic will be just to get paid parking. Lots to do- we did cider tasting, Moonshine tasting, shopping. There is so much to do and it’s big. Lots of kids and tourists.

Loved my visit to Gatlinburg Downtown. The free trolley bus made it so easy to explore the city without any hassle. Restrooms are available and well-maintained, which was super convenient. There are plenty of food options all around, so you’ll never go hungry while walking around. I also liked finding coupon books at different spots—they really help save a little extra on attractions and food. Overall, it’s such a fun and tourist-friendly place to spend time in.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. While people have the right to their beliefs, you would think if your going to run a wedding service in a TOURIST area you would recognize that you are a business first and that WHO someone is marrying is really not your business. And if you wanna throw religion in I can go back and forth with you all day. 0 stars. And the way he handled finding out it would be 2 women was even worse the minute you say partner he will change his tone and question you. If you will only perform certain weddings either don’t run your services at a tourist attraction. Honestly would have brought my own minister if need be. Just wanted the pretty spot but you have RUINED that too. He who without sin may cast the first stone.

Nature & Parks
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a popular destination for millions of visitors who come to enjoy its campgrounds, trails, and fishing streams. The park boasts incredible biodiversity and holds cultural significance for the Cherokee people as their ancestral homeland. Additionally, it is important to descendants of Scottish-Irish settlers who shaped Appalachian culture.
I recently visited the Great Smoky Mountains and stayed around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge — what an amazing trip! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look, there are rolling green hills, misty peaks, and endless forest views that make you want to stop and take pictures every few minutes. One of the most unforgettable parts of my visit was seeing several black bears crossing the roads. It was both exciting and humbling to watch these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. The park staff do a great job keeping the area safe and clean, and the roads are well marked, making it easy to explore. I drove up to one of the peak points, and the view from the top was just stunning — you can literally see the mountains stretch out forever. I also took a short walk into the forest trails, and it felt so calm and refreshing, surrounded by the sounds of nature and fresh mountain air. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have a great mix of attractions, local food, and friendly people, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend the Great Smoky Mountains to anyone who loves nature, adventure, or just a peaceful getaway. I think this is not a good year to see fall colors..

Do your research on the trails before you get there. We did not any phone service the whole time. Family of four, with kids. Paid for parking ($5). We got to do two trails which were super beautiful but the second one was a bit challenging with kids. Narrow and wet, rocky trails. They give you a map at the welcome center that shows the trails but the website will guide you better on the difficulty level. We were visiting and the smoky mountains was a must see stop. The drive alone was breathtaking, not to mention the trails. The view from the top (visitor area) was amazing. Plenty of restrooms available at the visitor centers. Was a dream visit!
Jenny S — Google review
Camped for 2 nights in the southern portion of the park and thoroughly enjoyed my time. You will encounter a substantial amount of fellow visitors but it still feels like proper wilderness. Creeks are plentiful and hiking any distance will take you through a nice variety of habitats.
Joshua R — Google review
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a breathtaking masterpiece of nature that deserves every bit of its fame. From the moment you drive in, you’re surrounded by misty blue ridges that look like they’ve been pulled straight from a painting. The air feels fresher, the sounds calmer, and the scenery—endlessly photogenic. Whether you’re a hiker, wildlife enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates peace and quiet, this park delivers in every way. The hiking trails are beautifully maintained, ranging from easy scenic walks to challenging climbs with rewarding panoramic views. Clingmans Dome is a must—standing at the highest point in Tennessee, the 360° view at the summit is nothing short of magical. Waterfalls like Laurel Falls and Abrams Falls are easily accessible and stunning in any season. You’ll likely spot deer, wild turkeys, and—if you’re lucky—a black bear or two (from a safe distance, of course). Each season brings its own kind of beauty: spring’s wildflowers, summer’s lush green forests, fall’s fiery foliage, and winter’s peaceful, snow-dusted charm. And the best part? It’s completely free to visit—an incredible gift to anyone who loves the outdoors. The Smokies offer that rare feeling of connection—to nature, to history, and to something bigger than yourself. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how beautiful the world really is. If you haven’t been, pack your camera, lace up your hiking boots, and go. You’ll leave with your lungs full of fresh mountain air and your heart completely full.

Late October is our favorite time to visit the Smoky's. The leaves are changing color & the overlooks are breathtaking. The temperatures are great during the day, but they do dip quite a bit in the evenings. There is so much to do here, no matter what age group you are in there truly is something for everyone. If you haven't visited the Great Smoky Mountains, you really do need to add it to your bucket list.
Peggy G — Google review
Beautiful and so many hikes it would take you a month or more to do them all, and that's if you lived there and did one a day! You can print your parking passes ahead of time or in certain areas you can pay that day and have it printed. It's like a digital parking meter that spits out a pass. We payed for a full week and printed it at home. We saw bears, wolves, deer and your typical wildlife. Kids can do the hikes. If they are used to hiking 11 miles is do able. Just note if it says 2.5 miles, it may take you 2hours one way. Our first time 10yrs ago we asked a ranger which hike to do, they suggested Chimney Tops. They failed to warn us it would take 2hours up and 2 hours down. We were used to hiking yo we thought 2.5miles easy..haha, not here. We made it to the top, but made it out in pitch black with barley enough cell phone battery to light our way out. Start your hikes earlier so you don't end up like we did.

We visited the park summer of 2025 on a motorcycle trip to Tail of the Dragon. I absolutely loved the ride through the part. Amazing views and great riding roads. Fighting Creek Gap Rd, Little River Gorge Rd. Turned off on the Foothills Parkway which took us right down to Lake Chilhowee then right into the west end of the Tail of the Dragon and over to Deals Gap. Would ride again!

We had a great time visiting the Great Smoky Mountains Express during the fall season! 🍂 The scenery was absolutely beautiful with colorful foliage all around. The hiking trails were really good and offered amazing views. It was a bit crowded and there was a long wait time, but that’s expected during the fall. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and totally worth the visit. Would definitely love to come back again and explore more next time!

Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is a Victorian-style theater in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, known for its original musical comedies that guarantee a good time. Since 1977, this vaudeville-style theater has been entertaining audiences with zany and outrageous humor reminiscent of The Carol Burnett Show and Monty Python's Flying Circus. The resident musical comedy troupe performs several shows each season, and some productions have even gone on to be performed in cities across the United States.
Best show in Gatlinburg and surrounding areas, this is a must see show, the actors are awesome, the pricing is right and it's a couple of hours of laughing, hijinks and hilarious fun, some audience participation and who knows you might even get called up on stage to do a little acting yourself, this is a family owned and operated business that has been in Gatlinburg since 1975, if it wasn't spectacular it would have went under years ago. If you want a great show at a great price make sure this is on you itinerary for you trip to Gatlinburg... Sadly they have closed after 44 years in Gatlinburg they will be missed

For myself and my partner we were not that amused! We paid $29 per adult. There flyer states that you'll enjoy a 2 hr show. Upon purchasing the two tickets were informed that the show wil be 1 1/2 hours long...deducting 30 mins from the show😒...not impressed after paying $59.90. We both found that although its a bit entertaining, it was mostly confusing. It was wasted money for us, but for those reading this review... you may enjoy the show you may not!

Silly show. There were people there that had been before. I found that a mazing once was more than enough. It was Vaudeville type show and from that standpoint I guess it was okay. I would have a hard time recommending it..

Also in Winter time if it snows it has the perfect little hill to sled down. I would highly recommend going to see this and just to have fun even have a picnic they have plenty of picnic tables.

Just a few minutes up Airport Road from downtown Gatlinburg you’ll find a great place for a picnic away from the bustling tourists. There’s a shelter with restrooms, picnic tables along the creek, a great playground for the kids, pro-grade tennis courts, and a newly renovated ball field if you have enough folks with you to play. Be aware that bears frequent this park—so much so that we jokingly call it, “See a bear park”.

Dolly Parton's Stampede in Tennessee offers a unique experience with a 4-course feast followed by a show featuring music, comedy, live animals, and pyrotechnics. The attraction showcases magnificent horses and top-notch riders performing thrilling stunts. Guests can enjoy friendly North and South competition, jaw-dropping special effects, and amazing musical productions while indulging in a delicious meal.
Had a great time on the 8/9/2025 6pm show. We paid for premium seating and we were worried it might be a scam but it wasn’t. Basically VIP get the front row, premium gets the second row, and the other tickets go above those rows. In the end the premium seat was nice we were in L2 South and were right in the middle, so we thought it was worth it. The meal is good, starts with soup, then biscuits, rotisserie chicken, pulled BBQ pork, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and then a choice of apple turnover or coconut chocolate cake. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Our waitress was Jodi and she was friendly, attentive and worked very hard, constantly coming by to refill your drinks. The staff have a great system for each course of the meal including picking up dirty dishes, very well oiled machine. There is some interaction with the fans a few go into the dirt area but you cheer for your south or north team. Very fun lots of energy. The animals appear well taken care of and the people doing the stampede are talented and fun. Very good show I would recommend it.

The Dolly Parton Stampede was absolutely worth every penny and an experience we’ll never forget! From start to finish, the show was high-energy, fun, and full of talent. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was delicious, and the entertainment kept us smiling the entire time. A special shout-out to our server, Jasmine, who was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and really added to the overall experience. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept the evening running smoothly. If you’re on the fence about going, don’t be—it’s truly worth it for the memories and the amazing show!

Great, fun time for everyone at this “dinner & a show” venue! The Pre-Show waiting area had a local trio entertaining the crowd and the cocktail bars were an added plus. Good hearty “country” food; mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, fried chicken, pulled pork, homemade biscuits, hot apple pie-tarts for dessert, beverage options of sodas, water, sweet tea, lemonade.
Eva M — Google review
A three course meal and a show. We had high hopes of a good all round American experience. We’re from England so this looked very entertaining on reviews. The pre show music ensemble was amazing, Holly(?) on double bass was the perfect entertainer, yodeller, singer and bass player. I could’ve watched her all night. But, onto the main show. We were guided to our seats by an extremely enthusiastic crew of staff. Kyle our waiter, introduced himself and served us drinks. His service was exemplary, our glasses never ran low and food was served with efficiency and cleared away without affecting the show in any way. The staff run the whole business like an extremely well oiled piece of machinery. This is teamwork at its best. The food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. Make sure you’re hungry as portions are good. The show itself, was the full American deal. Horses and talented riders, pig racing, chicken chasing and butterflies. I didn’t quite understand the butterfly link, apart from the Dolly Parton song I felt it would’ve been more wholesome without the butterfly segment. Altogether a really good show with good food and the most amazing teamwork I’ve ever seen, anywhere.

The Most Fun Place to Eat! An Action-Packed, Hearty Family Show. Dolly Parton's Stampede is an absolute must-do for any family visiting the Smoky Mountains. It is a spectacular blend of high-energy acrobatics, trick riding, and a four-course Southern feast that will leave you stuffed and smiling.

My husband and I had dinner here on 8/16 and had such a great time! The food was amazing and the show was absolutely beautiful. Conner was our server and he did a fantastic job. We sat in VIP, but honestly I don’t think it makes a huge difference—last time I sat higher up and actually enjoyed the view from there even more. It really comes down to personal preference. One tip: I recommend using the restroom before the show starts, since the seating can feel a little awkward if you need to get out once it’s going. The whole performance was so entertaining! My favorite part is when the kids get to chase the chickens in a race. Skeeter’s skits are hilarious too—his chicken skit was my husband’s absolute favorite. Overall, a wonderful night out with great food, laughter, and memories!

Being in a power wheelchair, I wasn't able to get as close to the table as I wanted. My waitress brought me an awesome table extension that allowed me to eat comfortably. The food was not as good as I remember it being in the past. You now get silverware instead of having to use your fingers, which I liked using my fingers. They switched out the Cornish hen with pulled pork barbecue, which, honestly, wasn't very good. Lastly, it's now called Dolly Parton's Stampede instead of Dixie Stampede.

This is a great dinner show. You get a 90 minute live cowboy show and a great dinner with soup, biscuit, a whole chicken, corn, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, and a dessert choice. The apple pastry is excellent. The show is great. Overall, and it's a fantastic deal. Great for a date or families.

Arcadia in Gatlinburg, TN is a vibrant arcade and family fun center that offers a blend of classic and contemporary games. Spanning over 30,000 square feet, it boasts more than 145 arcade and ticket games, providing an old-time arcade ambiance. Visitors can also enjoy rides to the top of Gatlinburg's Space Needle, Old Tyme photography sessions, and an Italian-style bistro on-site. The venue also hosts live performances in its theater space.
This is a great spot for the kids on those days the weather isn’t all that great. A huge variety of arcade games, from skee ball to bowling, racing games to older style pinball. And the Slice Pizza is really good. Like most things in town bring some extra money with you but overall a great experience and the kids loved it.
John R — Google review
Best arcade in town. It’s huge and lots of great games to choose from. There was a great amount of claw machines with great prizes such as a lululemon fanny pack, a Coach Wallet, Yeti Tumblers etc. 10/10!
Gabie P — Google review
Best arcade ever!! Spend way too money in here but never leave disappointed! Very safe place for kids to be and easy to walk to. Staff are nice.
Stephanie H — Google review
My husband loves going to arcades and we heard great things about this one. We can spend hours in them and a decent amount of money. I’ve seen him clear out claw machines from NY all the way down the coast to the Florida Keys. However, today he tried multiple times to get a plush for me. We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary so he was trying his best to get the plush for me. He would get the plush and the claw would just open to drop it. Not like swaying and it dropped, literally just opened. This happened multiple times before I said it was ok, I didn’t want/need it that bad. We stopped and asked the person at the main desk. This dude literally said “the machines not ready to give a prize yet” What!? I thought claw games were about skill not a timed prize. To us that seemed very rigged. After that we left. After 6 trips to the area, I can say this will be one place we will never go back to.

My husband and I had so much fun at this arcade! We played duckpin bowling for the first time and it made us feel like little kids again. Kevin in the redemption department was awesome! He was a very courteous and helpful young man. Fun for all ages!
Mary D — Google review
Had tons of fun! Lots of claw games but the odds seem pretty low to win. The man working back at the ticket redemption desk was definitely a huge help. He was so patient and such a great man to have a conversation with after a long night of gaming.
Jennifer V — Google review
Place is nice lots of games to play. I think as always you need way to many points to get prizes but that's every game place. I definitely recommend this place stop here every time in this area.
Jerry — Google review
I don't understand all the great reviews. We expected this place to be so great and wanted to play some claw games here more than other arcades in the area. ALL the machines had the prizes ( which were not anything branded or nice...but you could "trade in" any prizes won at redemption center.) very tightly packed and NONE laying on top that even gave you a shot to win! The claws were very 'limp' and clearly set at high payouts! Each game took a LOT of credits and we didn't get much for our $75, despite the guy at front register saying we'd get "like 35 plays" for our $50 card! I don't believe we got anything close to that. In fact, we won just 3 unbranded, cheap stuffies that we tried to trade in for something our daughter wanted. The redemption center has RIDICULOUSLY high point prices on even cheap dollar store type things! We looked at the plushies hanging from ceiling and she saw one she'd like for the 1,500 points we had for the 3 plushies we'd won. It said 1,200 points right by the plushie. The girl had to go and get it down for us and wasn't very friendly. She got it down and then when she checked it back at redemption desk, said it was 2100 credits! We stated that the sign next to it said 1,200 credits and after a brief conversation, she let our daughter have it for the value of her 3 plushies. We spent $70 in total for one small, unbranded prize. I think she realized when she scanned our card that we'd spent a LOT! This the only reason for the 2nd star in my review. We play claw games a lot and are pretty good at them, but this place was a huge RIP OFF! It was CRAZY noisy inside, too. Very loud music that made it hard to talk at all. Wanted to love this place and have fun...and we did neither, sadly.

The Ober Mountain Tramway Mall is a long-standing attraction offering an aerial tramway ride to a mall with indoor amusements and seasonal outdoor activities. The tramcars depart every 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, providing visitors with stunning views of the area as they ascend to the Ober Gatlinburg ski resort.
Riding the Tram was an exhilarating experience! It was about a 10 or 15 minute ride up to the Smoky mountains. Seeing all the mountains and homes tucked in the mountains was amazing! It is an adventure for sure to ride the Tram. I will check out the Ober/Tram again . We were wowed all the way!
Gary F — Google review
I loved the Tram, the place up in the mountain is a bit old fashion, but it has nice activities like a small ice skating area, a small ice bumper cars, indoors carousel, zip line, rock climbing wall, live music, picnic area. What is really stunning are the views from the Tram. We got just the Tram tickets, they were good for 2 days, I suggest asking if they are valid for more than one day since they didn’t tell us anything when we bought them, we found out after.
Amripanda — Google review
It starts off with a tram ride that takes you up to Ober Mountain, where there are plenty of fun activities like a small zoo, aquarium, zip lines, swinging chairs, ice skating, and food stalls. The scenic views from the top may not be as breathtaking as some other parts of Tennessee, but they’re still beautiful and worth the ride. It’s a great spot for families and kids, and overall a solid 4/5 experience!
Shiva M — Google review
Average price for four is $130. (No first responder discounts, imagine that.) There is for military. The bear exhibits are now free, be prepared for a steep down hill and back up the same trail walk (it is paved for strollers or wheelchairs). If you park up at the top of Ober, do not expect to ride it down to town at the end of the day and then ride back up once you are finished. Last Tram moves at 6pm. If you are not on it then, well you can Uber up to the Ober.
Russ R — Google review
We had so much fun. In my opinion if you have kids and are looking for a day off fun for about 60 bucks per person it's one of the best. You get the tram ride plus tons of activities at the mountain top. Ice skating, bumper cars on ice, animal exhibits, sky lift to the top of the mountain (3,490ft above sea level), swings, wall climbing, shops, and the mountain coaster!!! You'll pay 30+ to ride just a coaster on the strip. I would recommend going and staying until dark. The views on the tram on the ride down at night is amazing. We have done so much here in Gatlinburg over the years but this was one of the best values and the kids had a great time. Not nearly as popular as Anakesta but offers the same type of entertainment.

Ober Mountain Tram, I thought this was. I need to give a big shout-out to STACY who advised us to get the fun pass. Loved the flowers in her hair. She is spot on. She has great southern hospitality, she is so knowledgeable! We had a wonderful day. Go there and spend the day. The fun pass includes the tram ride up, chair, lift up the mountain, ice bumper cars, ice skating, carousel and several other things. You will love it here. The mountains are alive once you get up to the top. It's a day trip. I forgot to talk about the Zoo at the top of the Tram Ride. Lisa was so loving to feeding the Otters. There was not a question that she didn't answer. Keep up the great work Lisa, you love for those animals shows.

This immersive and thrilling activity is suitable for both kids and adults, offering an entertaining break during a day of exploring Gatlinburg. Visitors can choose from different shows such as robot, western, or carnival themes, each providing its own level of excitement.
The four of us had a nice time playing the games at the 7D Dark Ride Adventure. It's a great place for young people, but us older people enjoyed it, as well. The employee did a very good job of explaining how the game worked and what to expect.

Honestly was okay. Got a Groupon, so saved a little bit. It was pretty finicky. It didn’t do much besides shake. VR is much better. The shooting guns & movie screen was okay, but definitely looked like something out of 2004. Worth a few bucks, but don’t pay too much.

Went to 7D theatre played all 4 games, all were phenomenal especially the zombie one was so so scary and super duper fun. Justin was super awesome assisted us with the games, my family was so happy and felt the adrenaline rush. The simulation felt so real it was well worth the time and money. I highly recommend going to 7D theatre. All ages will love it.

Arcade City Gatlinburg is a fantastic choice for gamers of all ages, offering a wide variety of games and the chance to win some amazing prizes. Visitors have found the game prices to be reasonable compared to other arcades, with adjusted claw machines that increase your chances of winning. The arcade also offers good deals on game cards and has a clean and comfortable environment for visitors.
Got a card with my meal at Chicken Guy next door so we let our daughter go over and have at it. We all loved this arcade. The games were reasonably priced for Gatlinburg. That's why we refilled the card twice. My daughter enjoyed all the games a lot. I got her a little stuffed animal on a claw game. No better feeling as a dad to come through for your little girl in a game. My girlfriend and I are old school and absolutely love ski ball. That was one of the card refills. We got enough points for the daughter to get some candy. We all had a very good time at Arcade City and I would recommend a visit. Fun for kids and adults. A really enjoyable experience.

Great arcade! Bruna (arcade attendant), is fantastic! She is patient, kind, and deserves a raise. 😊 Thank you Bruna, for making this arcade visit exceptional for my kids.

The staff was so nice and helpful! Special thanks to Stasha in the prize center for helping my daughter get the mermaid dolls she really wanted even though we were short a few tickets. It made her day!! They also had the cleanest bathrooms we used in all of Gatlinburg. We will be back!
Ally B — Google review
Very nice arcade. Limitless games available to play and a LOT of claw machines that kids LOVE. Very clean and not painfully hot inside. My son was able to play for a long time on $25 and was even able to return to use his card in full. Surprisingly this arcade offered really good prizes for large points redemption.
Jennifer H — Google review
We loved this place. Everyone working was great!! The games all worked and paid out well. And it wasnt crowded!! My girls were short by a couple tickets of what they wanted and the lady at the ticket counter heard and told them they could still get it.
Sarah J — Google review
One of several arcades on the strip. They are all the same. Air-conditioning wasn't enough to keep the place comfortable. High prices and low prizes. Vegas for kids. Given all the things to do in the area, save this for rainy day or skip entirely. It's clean and the games are modern though the store front makes it appear much larger than it is. Given there are so many regional former big box arcade and entertainment centers, the novelty is gone. Your money goes much further at Dave and Busters or similar. It has a great location, but will eventually need to evolve to survive. Limit to $20 and spend your time and money on something more meaningful.
Rob K — Google review
This arcade was so incredible! The games, the prizes, and the staff were all a 5/5 can’t recommend them enough!!! We’ll definitely come back during our next vacation!

Won one of the desirable high priced items out of the claw machine. Was advertised as real turns out to be a knockoff not worth anything wasted lots of money. Called and the manager told me yes they are fakes and I could come get a refund but upon arrival was refused a refund and called the police. UPDATE.... There was never any resolution offered. There's over 10 other cameras in the building and recording in public is a totally legal action. I have the original conversation about a refund recorded also the whole video of the interaction in the store. Also sellng illegally trademark products is a huge issue that comes with huge fines and possible jail time. And warning another innocent customer of fraud should be considered heroic not threatening or upsetting. Also still in possession of the counterfeit product you are passing off as real for anyone who would like to see it or know more about it

Herbert Holt Park is a charming park located just off the Gatlinburg Parkway on North Park Lane. Despite its smaller size, it offers an array of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. From horseshoe pits and a playground area to a children's fishing stream, there's something for everyone. The park also houses Gatlinburg's Trout Rearing Facility, the only municipal trout farm in the state.
As a local and a highly avid fisherman, I bring my little boy here often to make some fishing memories while he's still young. Beautiful park, with absolutely great fishing for children. The town has went above and beyond to give kids, a place to feel a part of the local fishing tradition. Yet have a place to call there own and play and spend time as a family. Absolutely superb park, and very clean. Bonus Fish Hatchery on site to view while there.
Seek O — Google review
We love this park, it's clean, restrooms are clean, it has a trout hatchery where you can see the trout from behind fencing of course (for both the fish's protection and human protection too). The ONLY thing that would make this park better is a few swings for the kiddos. Also, this park allows 12 and under to fish for FREE, so much fun for the kids. They also have picnic areas and fido friendly.
Angelia D — Google review
What a great park— clean, fun playground for all ages, easy fishing access for the kids. The highlight for our group was a shallow steam, easy for wading, or letting the kids cool down after playing. The pavilion is huge, and it’s fun to look in on the fish in the hatchery that’s right there.
Erin F — Google review
Beautiful park, clean restrooms very nice place to stretch your legs or sit at the picnic table. Gorgeous stream.

Very clean park with temperature controlled restrooms. Fishing is easily accessible, but for 12 and under only. Even handicapped accessible fishing. Don’t miss the trout breeding pools in the back.

Was here for the first time with my daughter who participated in the kids trout fishing tournament. She was able to start her day here and quickly caught the two she was allowed, the biggest weighing in at 2.5 lbs!
Kirk D — Google review
Very nice park but there is a trout hatchery next to it! That doesn't mix well with kids, bears and fish! We took my grandchildren there to play and saw big bear mud prints on the sidewalk a few minutes later a huge black bear was a few feet away from my young granddaughter! It was a very scary experience! We spent over two weeks in Gatlinburg but never went back to this park because of the bear activity. We were here mid October- 2025 Loved the park, beautiful area but bears are not for us! Why put a fish hatchery next to a children's park!?

The Mills Park off of Highway 321 in Gatlinburg is a huge park with many fun things for people to do. There are two dog areas, a playground, picnic areas, fitness area, and track and ball fields. The park was very clean when we visited in early April and the gnats were not too bad.
The park was beautiful and the playground was so much fun! They have turf and padding under it to help with falls which I (and my toddler) very much appreciated. The bathrooms were very clean and the dog park right next to us was filled with adorably fluffy puppies!
Sarah S — Google review
I had a wonderful time at this exceptional public recreation area. The restrooms were not only clean but also stylish. The playground was ideal for young children, and we enjoyed playing there. While I didn't explore the entire area, I highly recommend looking at it online. If we visit Gatlinburg for a week, we will certainly revisit this community building to see if it lives up to its online portrayal. We'd even like to consider having a family reunion here, as it seems perfectly suited for such an occasion. The football fields were well-maintained, as was the playground equipment. The concessions offered delicious food at reasonable prices, including chicken quesadillas (though a bit bland), fruit cups, bananas, and corn. The line moved quickly, making for a delightful morning and lunch at the park.
Bella H — Google review
Took our two shih-tzus here to the dog park during a weekend vacation to the area since it was very close to our cabin. Grounds are nicely kept, but wish there were more shaded areas in the small dog area. Also, the gated fence does not effectively keep small, skinny dogs from getting out, so please watch your little ones extra closely. Very happy to find this nice park. Will definitely come back when in the area.
Jeff C — Google review
Was here recently for my daughters high school lacrosse game. The fields are very nice, and up to date. The facilities we nice and clean. Parking on the upper end near the baseball field is jacked tho. Overall, I was impressed and satisfied with my experience.
TJ G — Google review
I visited here with my 5 year old, 6 year old nephew, and 4 year old niece. They had a blast. The park is surrounded by massive drake elm trees that shade the majority of the park. There are also multiple benches along the perimeter of the park for adults to sit in the shade as they watch their children. There is a beautiful stream near the edge of the park that the kids thought was awesome. It was maybe a foot wide and they could jump across it, but had fun finding crawfish and minnows. There is also a steep grassy ridge on one side of the park. Our kids enjoyed racing up it, and rolling down. Overall - we had a great time enjoying some time outside together. Highly recommend.

We are staying in Gatlinburg, and this park is only about 4 miles from our camp. Right on 321/east parkway, very nice, clean and spacious. Thank you, Gatlinburg, for a beautiful park.

Very nice park, lots of space. The two dog areas (one for big dogs, one for small dogs) were very clean and nicely kept. The playground and picnic areas were also very clean and nice. We liked the fitness area and also checked out the track and ball fields. There were quite a few gnats already (late April), but we were moving around so it wasn't awful.
